Welcome in everybody to the P.H.O.I. Eagles podcast.
We are live from the Xfinity Mobile Studio and we're presented by our friends at Toyota.
My name is E.J. Smith. I'm going to be your host for the next couple of days because our friend, Bo Wolf, Bobby Coyote, Robert Dingo.
Trying to think of some other animals here. He is flying to London.
I like Bobby Coyote. I'm not going to lie.
Is that new?
I came up with it during an ad read.
You know, I'm in the host chair.
I'm trying to incorporate some silliness.
I want this to stick.
I like the Bobby Coyote.
He probably hates it.
Oh, he'll hate it and that will make it even better.
Yeah, I like Bobby Coyote.
So yeah, I'm in the host chair for the next couple of days as Bo is en route to London.
Maybe he'll join us for some fun later on in the show.
But yeah, Fran, I'm glad to be joined by you.
How are you doing?
Doing great.
Yeah, that's a beautiful day outside here in Philly.
There's nothing crazy going on this week.
It's been nice and casual and hunky dory in Eaglesland.
Yeah, you know what?
Let's just get right into it because I have a lot of, like, you know,
usually we start the show with a new Zee A block is what we call it.
And I always have my points mapped out.
And it took me a long time to get through these points this week.
And, you know, for that reason, we're going to get straight to what's brewing,
presented by our friends at Wawa.
And, you know, Fran, what's brewing?
One of the most turbulent weeks I can remember covering the Philadelphia Eagles.
I racked my brain this morning
different weeks throughout the last few seasons
and dating back to 2019
where things felt as chaotic as they have felt this week
where as much has changed
as it did for the Eagles really in a 24-hour window
I can't think of another time.
There's been times like latent seasons
where there's been a big loss
and there's been a shift in the team's energy
because of that.
But I mean it's just hard.
It's hard to compare losing a future Hall of Famer,
one of the best players in franchise history.
and Lane Johnson and then 24 hours later,
seeing a player that's in your starting lineup
get traded for a second round pick this early in a season.
So, you know, I think as we zoom in here,
it's a seismic shift on the offensive line.
And, you know, it really is.
Can you think of a time where this much has changed
in that short of a window?
It would be a short list if I were.
If I had to really spend time thinking about it.
I mean, there would have been plenty for us to talk about
if Elaine Johnson and Cam Juergens news didn't happen this week.
Yeah.
You know, and we joked on Monday.
where we went through like the EAG-L-E-S.
It was, what was it?
It was extreme angs, growing larger,
going louder every second.
I mean, it is, that is this franchise right now.
Doesn't mean that it can't turn around.
And I know there are plenty of people in the building
that will point to 2024 and say like, yeah, like, you know,
the head coach shaved his head in this moment in 2020.
In 2024, there was, you know, there was a lot going on in the building.
and they turned it around, they won a Super Bowl.
So, yeah, plenty of time to get things corrected,
just a matter of getting it done.
Yeah, I totally agree.
I thought about the 2024 stretch.
They were two and two.
They weren't on a losing streak.
That Brown's game was ugly, but they won that game.
But still, I think that this one's worse.
By the way, I see CDP in the chat says Bobby Coyote.
Like, I like that, like coyote, Awasheka.
Shout out to CDP in the chat there.
By the way, before we jump into even more of this,
be sure to like the video, hit the subscribe button.
It helps us out a lot.
we're going to have you guys really covered throughout the next couple of days and really the rest of the season, obviously.
So here's what I can tell you.
You know, let's kind of reset and look at this offensive line in a post-lane Johnson post-Cam Juergens world.
Because I do think that there is an enthusiasm about the retooling that's about to happen.
You know, it's aggressive.
Trading Cam Jurgens really accelerates this rebuild that they're going to have to do up front.
But this is, you know, from being at the facility yesterday, this is what I expect to happen.
Obviously, Markell Bell at right tackle.
I think they're really excited about the season-long audition that he now has to be the heir apparent to Lane Johnson.
Drew Kendall, I think, is the long-term hope at center.
I think that that was part of the decision of Trade Camp, Tergens, actually, was the belief that they have that Drew Kendall can be their answer at that spot.
Long-term, I think they looked at the way that Cam played at Left Guard and said, like, okay, this probably doesn't work with him at Left Guard, and that probably was a contributing factor in the decision to trade him.
the wrinkle in that,
Drigendell hasn't been at practice the last two days.
He wasn't out there yesterday with a knee injury on the injury report.
Tim McManus reported from practice a few moments ago,
he's not out there either today.
You can't be playing then, right?
I mean, Jake Majors was the center today with the first CMO line.
Now, they were run, they just like run the individual drill.
It's not the end all be all.
Fred Johnson was the left guard a few weeks ago.
Right.
Yeah, I think he, if he's healthy Friday,
I think he probably does play.
I know that sounds crazy.
But that is on my radar.
Long term, at least, as we're looking at the season,
I think Drew Kendall is the answer at Senate,
that they're hoping will be their long-term answer.
Left guard, I think Willie Lampkin will be the short-term answer.
Yep.
I actually came away, so we heard from Howie Roseman yesterday.
Yep.
I came away from talking with him,
believing that Landon Dickerson is a big part of their plans.
He said he's very excited to get Landon back from Injured Reserve.
And we know Landon's very excited to come off of Injured Reserve.
So, you know, a week ago, I had doubts about it.
I wonder if, like, you're throwing a bone to, like, Jordan Milato almost, where it's like,
you want continuity.
We're going to give you the guard that you played with the last few years.
It was obviously ugly in week one.
I'll be the first one to say that.
But I think that Landon, let's say if Willie doesn't just, like, come right out of the traps,
just perfect, even just like, if he's really good, I think he'll keep the job.
Yeah.
But I think that there is some expectation that Landon Dickerson will be a factor for them this season.
Yeah.
I'm fascinated.
Look, everyone knows
that watch the show knows
I love evaluating the young players, right?
I'm excited to be able to watch
Willie Lampkin,
working with Drew Kendall,
and get an extended look at Markell Bell
that, like, that is exciting to me.
I would caution people
because I think there's a lot,
there's been this sentiment that,
oh, you take Cam Juergens out
and whoever goes in,
it's an automatic improvement
and all things are fixed
and we're off and running.
And I felt the same way
to an extent about when
Landon Dickerson came out
after week one.
It's like, yeah, like, Landon,
landed clearly was not good in week one,
you know, and did not look healthy whatsoever.
It was basically what we saw all throughout the summer.
But taking Landon out and putting Cam over there
and then saying kind of shuffling the deck there,
that doesn't necessarily mean that all the issues are going to be solved
because there are other issues at play there.
And we've talked about that.
There's, you know,
inconsistencies across the board with the entire operation.
And so while I'm excited to see these young guys,
I don't think that all of a sudden it's going to go from,
a unit that has played as, I don't know, like a bottom 10 offensive line.
Now all of a sudden, oh, yeah, they're going to be the 12th best offensive line in football.
I do think that there's going to still continue to be growing pains,
and you're hoping to just see these young guys show flashes of what they can be down the road.
Yeah, that's why I term it as a rebuild.
I mean, a more generous, like more, yeah, you could be a little bit kinder to it and say it's a retooling,
but this is a mid-season rebound on the offensive line.
Not something we've seen the Eagles do really at all in the last, you know, several seasons.
and the times where it's happened have been mostly due to injury,
and those seasons have gone sideways.
So I think it is important to set expectations there.
Yeah.
Let's close the book on what's brewing presented by our friends at Wawa.
Shout out to Wawa.
I mean, I'm hitting a Wawa almost every day on my way home this time of year.
You know, not always the most efficient or effective packer on my way out of the door.
Like, I don't pack a good lunch.
Yep.
So Wawa's always coming in clutch for me there.
Francis called me out yesterday.
We were talking about, like, dinner plans.
And I was like, oh, like, we can do this.
We can do that.
He was like,
You know we're just going to Wawa.
I was like, you're right.
It's awesome.
You know your personnel.
It's good, good work by the little guy there.
I wanted to point out a couple,
I got so many things to say here.
So on the succession planning,
Lane Johnson to Markell Bell,
Cam Juergens now to Drew Kendall,
and we'll see.
Maybe it will be like Landon Dickerson to Willie Lamkin,
I mean, two completely opposite body types there.
Because I do think that the Eagles are hoping
that they'll look up at the end of the season
and feel like some combination of those three players,
are long-term building blocks for them.
And this doesn't look like what we are used to seeing the Eagles have,
especially at a premium position like right tackle,
especially replacing a player of Lane Johnson's caliber.
And this is something I said earlier in the week.
If you go through each of the Eagles' last few drafts,
especially in the first two rounds,
it's hard to pinpoint a spot where it goes,
you go, they should have drafted an offensive lineman there.
But I do think the years of passing on that position early in the rounds,
now we are seeing the toll of that.
The only time that I can point to where I can say,
you probably should have went a line there,
especially knowing what we know now,
is Maxi Hanachor in this year's first round.
You know, some people may argue like,
oh, you wouldn't have,
you wouldn't have said that on draft night.
I did say that on draft night.
And when we did the shadow draft a week after,
I said I Hana Chores who I would have went with there.
So, but with that said, like in 2025 or 2024,
in those past drafts,
I don't think, I think it was more about runs going,
the run on tackles going ahead of the Eagles,
more so that it was the Eagles not prioritizing the position.
I think it's fair to say that.
I am more forgiving of how that has transpired over the last two drafts.
Yeah.
I think that certainly I think that you and Bo feel a little stronger about it.
Then I'm willing to say like, yeah, like I see where, look, it's been unfortunate, right?
I think the other, honestly, the bigger thing for me, and I'm not as well versed in like cap ramifications.
Yeah.
But it has really been kind of like a domino effect.
because you lay out all these plans.
AJ Brown says, you know,
hey, like, I don't want to be here anymore.
So you have to make a move there
and there's a certain amount of dead money
that gets allocated there.
That might have forced your hand to say,
like, all right, well, now we wouldn't have taken a Mackay Lemon
before.
And now you take a Mackay Lemon,
and now you move off of Cam Juergens.
Lane Johnson retires.
Like, now that's more money
that is like allocated.
And for a team that already was a little bit tight
because you knew some of the contracts
you were going to have to hand out.
That will be interesting.
to see like how that affects some of the decision making moving forward in the next 18 months.
Yeah. Now, I'm glad you said that because it actually kind of helps me make the next point
that I want to make here, which is the notion that the Eagles are going to become sellers. Because
what you're saying, Howie has talked before about sometimes you need that reset year with the way that
they manage the cap. Sometimes it's really helpful to like take all that dead money on the chin in
one season. I think it was the 2020 season or 2021 season that they did this where they took the
the Carson Wentz dead cap hit, and then they also just took as much dead money as they could
that season so that they could build again from there. Now, with that said, Howie Roseman says that this
Cam Juergens trade does not signal that they are sellers this year. And it does not signal that what I
just laid out is imminent for this team. We have a, we have the quote from Howie here. He said,
what happened with Lane is in a separate bucket here? Then you have to make a decision, all right?
What's the value of this? How can this help us going forward? As for the team this year,
high expectations for the team this year.
It's very early in the season.
So hearing from Howie here,
I think that his argument
is mostly revolving around the fact
that they got good value for Cam Jergens.
I think most Eagles fans will agree
that getting a future second for Cam Jergens.
There's no way you can say it's not good value.
Getting off that contract,
because even if you think he's going to be
what he was in 2024 or thereabouts,
getting off the contract
when you already have a center that you like in the building,
a center that you feel better about,
making the calls and somebody that you want to see
out there in game action,
I think it's hard to argue with the trade value.
You know, again, on the emergency pod, we said
how he probably is talking to Eric DeCostin,
he's like, wait, you're going to give me how much for Cam Juergens?
Like, okay, let's talk about this.
So, if Cam, if Cam was playing, you know,
35% better, 40% better than what he has been.
I think you probably still make that true.
Yeah, he just, you don't see many interior linemen go for that.
No, that, I mean, that's the, I think it was, was a Joe Banner?
Someone put out recently it was like, you know,
over the last 24 hours was you won't see interior alignment get traded for more than a three.
Right.
If you go, you know, X amount of years back, like you just don't see it.
So, yeah, if you get that kind of value, I think you take it.
Yeah.
Now, with that said, how he might not be saying that they're sellers and how he might still have
high expectations for this team, the next thing I want to talk about is we just, we got in the
Eagles locker room for the first time yesterday since all this has happened.
And I think that this is an interesting conversation to have about how
does the team respond to something like this.
Yes.
And, you know, it's a funny thing because the cam trade was the most recent thing to have
happened by the time we got in the locker room.
So a lot of the conversation was about that.
It's very fresh.
But what I think is it's almost like if like your best friend moves out of the country
or something.
And that's like the Lane Johnson retirement.
Like that's a huge thing.
That was going to take these guys a long time to process.
Yeah.
And then the Cam Juergens trade happens.
And it's like a compounding effect.
Then, you know, let's say it's like, you know, maybe like one of your high school buddies says that he's moving to, you know, moving across the country, not out of the country, but somewhere far away.
It's not the same like seismic shift in the organization that lane leaving is, but the combination of the two in a 24-hour window, I can tell you, like, that shook guys up.
You know, that is a hard thing for guys to process while going through a two-game losing streak.
Think about all the change that's happened on the offensive line.
Like we heard from Jordan Milata yesterday.
day. He said a lot of things about just how crazy the last 24 hours were. And I thought that this
quote in particular was very telling about like where Jordan Mila's head is at now that he has gone
from being, you know, one of the younger guys in the room, you know, somebody who had Lane to always like
help him as a leader to now being the elder statesman in that room, the only guy from Super Bowl 59
that is still on the offensive line going into the Sunday for the Jaguars. It's insane. It's been two
years. Yeah. So Jordan said, I'm trying to figure out my emotions because these are,
two guys that have played a long time with. We've won a lot of games. We've lost a lot of games.
We've played great. We've played bad. We've done it all. When stuff like this happens, you tend to
think about everything that you could have done better. You've got to wear two hats. One is a friend
and one is a captain of this team. Right now, I'm choosing to be a captain. It's a tough thing. Yeah.
It's a really tough thing. So that's something that I have my eye on is the, the, the, the,
we overuse the word vibes, but the vibes in the locker room, how they're able to kind of
navigate this because even though
Howie will say it's not sending a signal that they're selling,
that is a blow to the players just from a very human level.
Yeah, and I said this on the show yesterday when we had the emergency pod for
the Cam Juergens news.
I do think that I buy that they are not necessarily like positioning themselves as
sellers.
Like I don't think that Howie is approaching it that way.
I don't think he's calling every team right now.
And part of that is like a leverage standpoint.
Like you're not putting the for sale sign up.
Right.
But I do think they're going to get more calls.
Yeah.
I think that other teams.
are going to see that and be like, hey, like, you know, sniff around Moro Ojimo,
your sniff around, you know, whoever.
Like, like, some of the pieces.
Yeah, exactly.
Any other expiring contracts.
And so, um, here's what I wonder, though, can you counterbalance those negative vibes
with maybe breaking a rule that you've set over the last few years where maybe there are
players that are up for extension that you could, but I don't know like where that wiggle room
is, especially, here's the other thing that catches maga.
I actually went to make sure that, um, that this was the case.
the Lane Johnson
who hasn't hit
the transaction wire yet
like there's nothing
so I'm like
I don't know like what cap ramifications
there are with that decision
like how you can allocate money
like does that
if you were to put him on reserve
retired lists like does that affect money
for this year?
Right and then but then there's
does that get helped by trying to extend
a Queen on Mitchell Cooper DeGine like
yeah I think that's a that's a balancing act
I think they kind of have to find.
Yeah the lane thing is something
I'll be keeping my eye on.
because that is, it's a significant amount of money.
You know, obviously, you know,
separating everything we said about laying on the emergency pod when he retired.
Like, it's a human thing first and foremost.
Right.
It is also something that will affect the team that is going to be interesting to see how they handle.
He's going to be on the inactive list every week.
Like, right.
He's a, he's on the 53.
Yeah, exactly for now.
So we'll see.
That is,
that is an interesting point about the contract extensions.
Can I be honest with you?
If they start signing guys to extensions in the season.
Yeah.
That actually tells me even more
that how he doesn't think this team's a contender.
Right.
Because he does that to not upset the Applecart
to give the team the best chance of competing that year.
If he's like, I ain't worried about that.
I'm worried about saving on whoever we can mid-season
before they hit the market.
Yeah, that would tell me more actually about how he views
about them as a contender.
And, you know, that is a relatively new rule.
I would say the majority of his tenure.
Yeah.
He's been, it was the other way.
It was like, hey, we want to get out the front.
But I think that there's, for multiple reasons,
it might behoove them to say like, hey, we want to get out in front of Quignon, Quineon, Quina, whoever, and Devante.
If you can pay those, if they pay those three guys, I would say that's a smart move.
Yeah.
It also tells me that he doesn't think that they can win this year.
All right, we're going to take our first break.
On the other side, I still got news to get through, Fran.
Let's do it.
I still got news to get through.
We'll talk injury report.
We'll talk how next year I need is responding to these things.

A little shout-out to our friends at Toyota.
That's right.

and official automotive partner of the NFL.
Toyota, let's go places.
And we are back on the PHOI Eagles podcast.
All right, let's go through the injury news.
Okay.
We have some good injury news.
You know, I think I was a little alarmist in the A block talking about this being such a turbulent week.
By the way, Lindsay's been-alarmus, it's real.
It's real.
Lindsay's been singing the little John song.
We just hit turbulence.
She does a great job singing that song.
That's not what you said 45 seconds ago.
Well, you know, listen, we got to make sure you pump up the producer way, especially when we're actually on air.
Don't lie.
I mean, you literally just told her that she sounded terrible singing.
I didn't say terrible.
I didn't say terrible.
I didn't say terrible.
I didn't say a gaslight her by saying the opposite while the cameras are rolling.
It's messed up.
I didn't say terrible.
I mean, you had like a British accent.
You know, you're just, you're, you know, because it's little John.
Like, he has like a little something to him.
Little John?
Isn't that who sings it?
Yeah, but he has, what do you mean he's got a little something?
Like he's got some sort of accent, not British, but I just mean like.
It's not British.
You want to sing it for the listeners?
No, no, no.
All right.
All right.
Lindsay, you do a great job.
The song, it's okay.
It's all right.
It's not the best thing that Lindsay does.
that's my final word on it.
I was just like to keep going.
Let me keep digging my own grave here.
All right, Dallas Goddard and Zach Bonn, back at practice.
Both limited participants.
I feel good about both of them playing, actually.
Now, Bonn's got to get out of the concussion protocol.
Yeah.
But the fact that he's at practice this early is usually a good sign for that.
Goddard being back, yeah, I think it's encouraging.
Quinion Mitchell at practice was also limited, but participating in practice.
I feel good about that.
Okay.
Fred Johnson returning to practice.
practice. That's an important one because the Eagles don't have a first tackle off the bench
without him right now. You do think that it will be Lampkin over Fred Johnson at left guard.
I do. Yeah. Yeah, I do.
Yeah, not reporting, but assuming. Yeah, this is, yeah, this is more of, although I'll be
honest with you, I didn't mention this when we were talking about the different combinations.
I do feel like there was less obfuscation on the offensive line. Yeah, I did a good job there.
On the offensive line about where Willie Lampkin is going to play and if Willie Lampon's going to
play. I feel like after all the Drew Kendall, like, oh, we don't know, I can't say.
Right.
Willie was just, we talked to him yesterday. He's like, I'm excited for the opportunity.
You know, I'm excited for the opportunity to play. I'm ready to play.
So I think he'll be out there. And Fred, Fred's availability would not impact Markell Bell.
No, I don't think it's Mark. It's his job. I think they want to see Markell get this stretch.
We heard from Markell yesterday, too, said that Lane Johnson's like a big brother to him,
said that he's disappointed to see him go. He said that Lane Johnson's like lasting advice
for him is don't make the game bigger than it is.
So,
interesting to watch that one unfold.
But yeah,
Fred being back is important.
The guys you missed,
mostly the guys you'd expect.
Sequan was out.
Hollywood Brown's still out.
Jahad Campbell was out.
I think he's okay.
I mean,
he's just,
he like,
I don't know if you noticed
on the tape friend.
He just seems like he's limping around right now.
Yeah.
Seems like something,
I mean,
it's a knee injury.
Marcus Epps was not in there.
Jonathan Gernard did not practice.
Drew Kendall,
we mentioned.
And then Devante,
looks like he's getting closer.
I'm not making the trip.
Yeah, he didn't actually practice, but he goes through warm-ups with the team.
And Grinard, I would assume, is probably out.
Right now, I would assume so.
Ask me again when the injury report comes out.
Let's see if I can see if Grinard was at practice today.
Tim McManus says that Grinard was not at practice today.
Okay.
Yeah.
Not looking good.
Yep.
All right.
So I wanted to close the loop on this turbulent week.
Okay.
From a Nick Seri standpoint.
Okay.
Nick's message to the team was lock arms and let's go.
And I thought he made an interesting analogy to the 2024 season.
So this is what he said.
So quickly we forget.
Only a mere two years ago in that 2024 season, we sat in the same situation.
We made some adjustments and we got on a roll.
Sometimes we conveniently forget those things.
But we don't up here.
Our job in these situations is to not panic and it's to find solutions.
Yeah.
You think that's fair?
I think that's the right approach to take.
Yeah.
It goes back to what I said earlier.
It really comes down to,
because a lot of the issues,
we talked about at the end of the show on Monday,
a lot of the stuff is fixable.
Yeah.
It's a matter of what your faith is in them to fix it.
Right?
Like, it's like, all right, like,
it can get fixed.
It can get corrected.
Will it get corrected is the big question.
And we don't know the answer.
You got to let it play out.
Yeah.
I don't love the 2024 analogy,
but I understand why he's using it.
Like, you have to use it.
Right.
because it's like, hey guys, like, we can't panic.
And again, I think this is going to be a really tough week for Nick because as much as they
want to say, like, we're not panicking.
We're focused on the work.
Like what I said a minute ago, which is like, this is a human thing.
Like a lot of these guys, they're, I don't want to like be like hyperbolic, but like a lot
of these guys are like not going to be okay after seeing like Lane retire and Juergens get
traded all so quickly like not saying like these guys are going to play bad or that they're
going to, it's going to affect their work.
But it's just, it's a lot to process.
And I think that if you're in Nick's shoes there,
you have to try and figure out a way to help them navigate it.
And he can only do so much.
So, yeah, I think it's, I actually, like,
we've been critical of Nick in certain spots this season.
I think this is just a really tough week for him,
not to mention, like, traveling to London and playing a really good team.
Yes.
That is used to doing that trip as well.
So, yeah, it's, it kind of feels like a pivot point a little bit for the season, you know?
I think if they're at least competitive in this game,
I'd feel better about it.
But, yeah, there's,
Yeah, there's some like sideways potential from this game.
Signs of life offensively would go a long way.
Yeah, absolutely.
For both sides of the ball.
Because I think the one thing that they have to try and avoid is it could get to it.
It could get to the point where, because they've done a good job over the year,
go back to last year, the inconsistencies they've had offensively, but all the three
and outs and stuff, it is very easy for that divide to kind of manifest where it's offense
versus defense and holding up your end of the bargain and all that stuff.
When you're winning games, you can kind of paper machet over that.
But if vibes are already down here, like it's much easier for like frustration to set in.
It's like during training camp, when fights happen when it's like hottest out, like you get into the dog days and so when the stress levels are high, that's where guys kind of can lose their cool.
So it will be big for the coaches.
Like this is this is where seriana can kind of step in from that standpoint as that culture center.
But in 2024, the defense took their game to an elite level.
The offensive line run game was elite.
Like you had those things to kind of, you had the elite pass catchers.
Like you had the kind of raise that floor a little bit.
You don't have those buttons right now.
Defense is probably a little bit closer than the other facets of that.
But what can you do to raise that floor a little bit?
Yeah, yeah, that's the thing with the 2024 analogies.
It's tough is like, I don't know what the answer is.
In 2024, I think we could have said, listen, they just got to lead into that run game.
Like it's been good when they've given it chances.
You know, maybe they come out in a couple of weeks and they are just like a, you know,
the shots explosives team.
You know, they're playing the Jonathan Gannon clip over and over again.
And, you know, they've really unlocked something, just trying to be a boom or bust offense or something.
Yeah, but it's just harder to figure out what that pathway is for them this year.
but yeah to your point they need something so anyway we're gonna take a quick break and then
we're on the other side we're gonna let fran really dive deep into this matchup i actually don't know
which one do you want to start with eagles defense versus jaggs offense other way around no i think we
should do eagles offense jags d let's let's let's do that one all right two minutes we'll be doing

All right.
Like I said, two minutes.
We're doing it.
So I'm going to turn it over to you,
I'm excited to hear about this matchup.
Yeah, this is a good football team.
Yeah, and I think when you look defensively,
it's just as good.
They are just as fun and just as effective
on defense as they are on offense.
Now, I would say that there are more defined weaknesses
on the defense,
but the things that they do well
do give me cause for concern when looking at this eagle's offense.
So I'll give the quick, the aviator speech here on what the Jaguars bring to the table.
This is a physical high energy defense that prides itself on stopping the run, even from light boxes.
In coverage, they've been very much a bend but don't break unit.
They're going to give up explosives down the field, but they tighten up in the red zone
and they are very opportunistic when it comes to taking the football away.
They've been really, really good at, you know, when they get down to the end of the red area,
They've got a number of interceptions down there.
Can you always count on that?
No, but right now this is a defense that looks to prey on opposing quarterbacks,
create some pressure, create some havoc,
and then they've got guys that can take the ball away.
So the first thing that jumps out is you saying they like to create pressure looks,
and this is something we talked about earlier in the week,
that the Eagles are going to keep seeing these pressure looks
as long as they can't sort them out.
What are the Eagles specifically going to be dealing with with this Jaguars front?
Well, let's go to the flight plan.
The keys to victory here.
And the very first one, the key number one,
the third down protection plan has got to get sorted out.
And we spent the majority of Monday show going through the issues that they had on third and fourth down.
You know, last week was a disaster.
No getting around that.
The defensive identity for this Jaguars team, a lot of very similar through lines with the Rams,
especially on third down.
They like to get to their dime defense, six defensive backs in the field.
They like to get to this rush front where you've got three pass rushers where it's Trayvon Walker,
who leads the team in pressures, really, really coming along.
former first overall pick.
You've got Josh Heinz Allen.
You've got Dennis Gardek.
So that's your three pass rushers.
They kick Walker inside more often than not.
So that's the matchup against these guards.
It's going to be Trayvon Walker.
And then they keep a weak armstead out there.
So that's your four down lineman.
You've got a linebacker that comes down.
And then you've got the strong safety, Antonio Johnson.
And you've got those six guys up near the line of scrimmage.
Who's blitz in?
Who's not?
It's not a high volume blitz operation.
I would expect, and it's not like a high volume stunt.
They're like middle of the pack and both.
I would expect both of those numbers to be higher than their typical rates.
So, like, they're like, you know, 17th in the NFL in stunt rate and, you know,
and 18th in blitz rate on third down.
I would expect that they will be well above those ratios or those rates coming out of this game.
So until the Eagles prove that they can stop it, like they're going to push that button.
Yep, a couple things there.
Jalen Hertz was asked about this yesterday.
And I think that this has probably made the rounds on social media that his answer to like,
how can they sort pressure looks out better was, you know, simply put blocking.
Yeah.
I know that that sounds like, you know, he's saying, oh, the offensive line's got to block.
Like what's wrong with the offense passing?
Yeah, right.
But I have been in enough Jalen Hertz press conferences where I can say confidently that like he is,
he is including himself in that.
It's not just like physically like winning your blocks.
It's getting the protection right.
Yeah.
And he took a hand in that.
He went on to immediately said like it takes all 11.
So just wanted to like address probably what so.
social media is going going like running with right now.
I was going to ask you about like coming out and dime but having a bunch of guys mugged
up on the line of scrimmage.
Do we think that this is the next meta of defense in the NFL?
Like do you think that this is something that teams will lean into more or do you think
that we're already seeing like the answer because we're seeing more heavy personnel packages
on offense?
No, I think that's I think that's part of it.
But also it's the kind of the coincidence of the schedule, right?
Like you had the couple opponents in a row that lean into.
that, right?
When you look at the way that Anthony Campanile and then Chris Schuola kind of operate,
Campanile has been around some really good defense coordinators, you know, and so that
he kind of pulls from a lot.
There's a lot of different variations you can kind of see, you know, in the way that they
want to play.
The big thing that I'm most interested in, look, they've got to get the protection
stuff like from an assignment standpoint.
Like, that's priority number one.
That's got to be cleaner than what it was last week.
without Sequin Barclay
from a past protection standpoint.
Like Will Shipley's not great in past protection one-on-one.
And Damien Pierce didn't look fantastic
in one-on-one drills in training camp in that area.
Now, he's been around the league.
I would stand a reason.
He's like competent in that area.
He's a bigger back, aggressive, tough physical.
But I don't know if they're necessarily going to put a ton on him
from that standpoint either.
To me, one adjustment I would like to kind of see them make
would be to go empty more often in this one.
Spread them out, get them out of some of those pressure looks that way.
Now, you know, that can also say like, all right, we're inviting like quick throw.
So if it's third and 12, you might not get into empty as often.
But if it's third and seven, it's third and six, all right, let's get into empty and let's
really kind of spread them out and just because what that does is it prevents the defense from
disguising a lot of what they're doing.
You're not going to put seven guys in a line of scrimmage and then drop a bunch out
if it's empty because now,
you're leaving guys that are like wide open with a lot of space.
So you're basically inviting those quick throws that way.
So that would be one thing that I kind of hope that they do.
They got to try something.
Right.
And we'll get into like from the run yet.
They can't just keep doing what they've been doing against this defense.
Especially when you consider all of the moving pieces on the offensive line this week as well.
It does feel like they need to figure out some answers.
And the thing I like about the empty stuff is that you can dictate to the defense the way that these guys said that they were going to.
In the summer, we heard so much about it we're going to stop trying to.
to get into the perfect play. I think that that is something that kind of forces everybody to play
quick. It's funny because there is like a deja vu where it's like we've talked about this stuff
before. Yeah. They've solved this problem before. You know, they now find themselves having to
solve it again, but I think empty has been successful for them in the past. Yeah. All right,
what's key number two here? Key number two, uh, maybe easier said than done.
Early down explosives in the past game. Poo! Peeo! Yeah, yeah, shots, explosives. Um,
Look, this is a defense, like I said, that likes to create turnovers.
So my concern is that the staff might say, like, all right, we want to be conservative.
We don't want to turn the ball over.
It's the last thing we want to get the third down.
We want to shorten the game.
I'd argue it should be the opposite in this one.
I think that you have to accept the fact that, yeah, like you might turn the ball over once or twice.
To me, if they try and get into a rock fight with this team, I don't think that plays into their favor whatsoever.
Teams have thrown downfield against Jacksonville more than any other defense.
in the NFL this year.
Early downs, they like to play a little bit more zone.
And it's a varied look, cover two, cover four, cover six, cover three.
Let's say it's mostly zone in the early downs.
And then so to me, that's where, all right, you got to have all your zone beaters
in the bag this week, in the playbook.
So whether it's, you know, you're running dagger, you're running the different flood
concepts, you know, those different in-breakers, you know, attack the middle of the field,
like all those different things, deep posts against quarters coverage.
They've given up more explosives on those early downs than basically any
anybody in football. I think it's second most or third most, depending on which service you look at.
I went back and watched all of those explosives and ended up like charting a lot of it just to kind
of see like, all of some of the through lines there. All these defenders have been targeted in
different ways. It's a competitive secondary. They're physical. They're feisty. And Travis Hunter, by the way,
he's like starting to look really, really good at corner. Yeah. He's starting to look really,
really good at corner.
He's just such a phenomenal, like, natural athlete.
So we'll see, like, what the, what the matchup is, what they try and do with him.
I'm glad they kind of gave up on, like, the wide receiver gimmick.
I think he's played, like, 15 snaps or receiver on offense.
Yeah, I think that's totally fine.
Let him be awesome at corner and then mix them in every once in a while, as a change up.
Yeah.
So to me, like, let's have some of these intermediate and downfield shots ready to go for early downs.
But by the way, not against, not play action.
Like this defense has been very, very good against play action.
Eagles, what we know has been like brutal with play action.
I think take that out of the playbook.
This should be like straight drop back, trying to try and attack down the field against this defense.
And again, with some of those like zone beating concepts in the playbook.
How much of a stretch is it for me to say that the way that the Bengals played?
Obviously they lost to the Jags, but they had some explosives in that game.
How much of that do you think Sean Mannion can at least like say like, like Jack Taylor,
similar concept of what we run, is there at least some parallel
between those two offenses that you can borrow a little bit from what they did.
The team is also very uncomfortable under center.
Looking at Joubler.
A lot.
Yeah. So yeah, I do think that there are some things they can try and take from that.
Now, the one thing you can't take, and look, they were down to Jemar Chase for most of that game
because he left with a concussion early.
But there were a handful of those plays where it was just like, T. Higgins,
yep, go beat T. Higgins.
And obviously, without Devante Smith, you're kind of down to that option.
But I do think that, yeah, like you can create explosives
was against this team.
This is not like last week where, you know, you're looking at you're like,
Trent McDow.
Now, Travis Hunter is really, really good.
But also not Trent McDuffie yet to the point.
So I would say you should feel okay about some of these matchups.
Like you don't know against Jerry and Jones.
Jaron Jones is a fun player.
And he's earning more and more snaps.
My guess is he'll be their second corner on the outside.
Jordan Lewis, proven ball hawk.
The Eagles are familiar with him.
It was in Dallas for a long time to start his career.
He's got the ability to take the ball away.
You can get Gordon Lewis.
You can get these safeties in cover.
So you can attack the linebackers in coverage.
Like this is a getable defensive group on the back end,
but you also, you gotta pull the trigger as the quarterback.
Yeah, and you gotta call those players.
You gotta, you gotta be aggressive.
If this is like a run, slant flat, like quickly, like quick game,
like get the ball out like that, I think it'll be tough sledding.
It'll be an ugly game to watch offensively.
All right, Nick Ciorani talked a lot about, you know, puffing out your chest,
looking in the mirror, you know, standing up against adversity.
adversity, this is a chance to do that.
This is a chance to be convicted, as Sean Mannion has said, in what they're doing.
So it's going to be an interesting thing to watch.
What's key number three for us, Fran?
Got to get creative in the run game.
There is no getting around it.
This is one of the best run defenses in football right now.
The Eagles are very unlikely to get anything going consistently with just a traditional
lineup run the football.
Like 11 personnel stretch zone, 12 personnel duo.
Like you're not going to me, especially without Sequin and without.
tank, like you're not going to be able to do that consistently.
So, uh, what are some of the wrinkles that you can throw in here?
Quarterback run game included, um, to try and get the odds back in your favor that way.
Uh, we've seen them do this in the past.
I think of the Saints games in years where the Saints have been awesome against the run.
Uh, and like, you know, you had that ability to, uh, you know, to, to move the ball.
And a lot of the times, it was with the quarterback run game involved.
That's, that's what I'm looking for here.
Yeah, it makes me almost nostalgic.
You know, I think there has been a lot of, like, Eagles nostalgia about the run game in 2024 and obviously the offensive line changing over so quickly.
Like, those Saints games, the first thing that I think about is writing the Eagles run game is unlike any other run game, you know?
And it doesn't matter if you're good against the run because what the Eagles present to you as a running team is different than just about any other team.
It's kind of sad.
Like, I don't know if they have that, they've got that, I guess that club in their bag anymore.
I will be, I'll be disappointed if there's no attempt to.
to like dress that up this week.
Yeah.
You know,
so I think that that's,
that's something I'll definitely have my eye off for.
Just real quickly,
because I know we want to go to break too.
Under the radar player to watch,
the Lark Horse player,
Dennis Gardek,
he's their starting Sam linebacker.
They play a lot of base,
second most base so far in the NFL.
So they will play with three backers on the field.
Gardek is that third linebacker,
but he stays on the field in their rush package
is their third defense event.
Pure speed,
like high effort,
like basically,
you know,
kind of a,
Chris Long,
Like, late career, Chris Long.
Never reached Chris Long's peak, obviously.
But like what Long's role was here in Philly when he was here, that's kind of like the role that you see with Gardek.
And then the most interesting stat, the Jags actually lead the NFL and drop eight coverage.
So don't be a shock to see that in this game where maybe they show pressure and then drop eight.
That was something that we saw defense to do a lot to the Eagles last year in Jalen Hertz.
That would be something I would keep an eye out for in this one as well.
All right.
We're going to take our last break.
Okay.
Can you,
because I know Lindsay requested this last week,
can you tee me up for the short?
We got to go for the-
Oh, absolutely.
Keys.
Give me the keys, Fran.
All right.
Here are the keys to victory here for the Eagles.
Number one,
you've got to be able to get this third.
Let's start.
Let's turn over.
I didn't go.
I went to key two and key three.
I didn't do a good job team up.
That's all right.
You need me to tee up?
No, we got, we got this.
All right, here we go.
Here are the keys to victory
for the Eagles in this game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Number one, you've got to get the protection rules cleared up from last week against the Rams.
It was a disaster, especially on third down.
Aggressive Jacksonville Jaguars defensive front, they are going to come at you the same way
the Rams did a week ago.
Number two, you've got to create explosives down the field in the passing game, namely on
their early downs.
The Jaguars have given up the second or third most explosive plays, depending on which service
you look at, down the field, especially on those early downs, take advantage of those
matchups, particularly in zone coverage.
And then the third one, get creative in the run game.
You're not going to be able to just line up and run the ball against the Jaguars.
They've got arguably the best run defense in football right now.
You're down Sequin Barkley.
You're down Tang Bigsby.
You've got to get creative.
Maybe that means incorporating more quarterback runs in this game.
I mean, what a professional.
Why don't you take us to break?
Take two.
You got this.
We'll be back on the other side here on the PHOI Eagles show.
We've got more to cover on the other side of this matchup.
And of course, we've got super swercasting.
Maybe we'll hear from somebody whose arms might be pretty tired.

And we are back on the P.H.O.I. Eagles podcast. Let's get to the some, let's get to some,
some, let's get to some super chats before we break down the other side of the ball here. So from our
friend Tizi Trez, five dollar super chat, how we heard all the washed allegations. So we had to get
a second and a fifth for Juergens to remind y'all who he is. Big Roseman, talk to him nice.
Good return. It's great return. I mean, yeah. Phenomenal return. I saw there was the tweet
going on and honestly um i thought it when the trade happened and didn't and i should have like
it you know it was one of those were like oh like why didn't i post that because they're the engagement on
that was great um but the idea that like you had you traded a first round pick for a j brown
in 2020 and a you spent a second round pick on jang jrgan's in the same year and then to get a
super bowl out of those guys and a super bowl run a second super bowl run out of those guys and
trade them for the same exact uh compensation six years later pretty good
Yes, and it is important to keep this in mind, as we are maybe critical of the way that the offensive line has regressed.
But again, I think that that even, you need good context with that.
From Dinkleberg, $10 super chat from the Dink Man.
I don't like the 2024 comparisons.
Didn't the guy who went into his office telling them to run the ball more just retire?
I also don't recall the 2014 trading away a starter on the offensive line that year.
Totally fair.
Yeah.
Yep.
I don't think that they have that lever to pull this year.
maybe they find a different lever to pull.
It will be up to the coaches to kind of get that messaging to the team.
Yep.
Shout out to think.
From Joshua Liss, $5 super chat,
what stage of this trade do you think how he engaged Nick and now that Nick has sat
with it?
Do you think his ideas of his job security has changed?
Yeah, I don't know if Nick worries about,
I mean, I'm sure he worries about his job security.
I'm not sure that he looks at like the Cam Juergens trade as like a shot across
his job security spell.
that'll be my guess yeah i mean
we don't i don't we don't need to like relitigate the entire thing with with jurgens
um because yeah he has not played well i think that like uh i've been kind of painted with this
brush that i'm like uh like you know standing for jirgens and i've seen people like oh you're
too close to jacques i don't think i've ever talked to cam jurgas as they're like you know
all like you were in the building when you got like i think i've maybe i've talked to him like once
uh it's just like this is a guy that has played good football in the past clearly was hurt all of last
year. We all know this.
Like what was and didn't have a great week one.
But to me, like, I don't think you necessarily say that he's never going to play good football
again. And he couldn't be that bad if Eric DeCosta wanted to give up a two for him.
Like even if they gave up a three for him, I would say like, yeah, like, I think there's still
belief that he can play.
Is he ever going to return to 2024 form?
I don't, I don't know that he'll ever get to that level.
But, you know, there's serviceable offensive line play around the NFL.
I think that he could still be that.
But I don't think that left guard is necessarily on a spot.
He's not a left guard.
And they didn't do many favors by saying like, hey, slide over there midstream, a position
you've never played.
We didn't practice there all summer and go and do it.
That's hard to do.
Like I know that people just think like, oh, yeah, he played right guard.
Why can't he play left guard?
Not how it works.
Does not work.
For some guys, it can.
Not for everybody.
And for most guys, it's not that way.
So Andre Dillard famously told us, it's like doing something in the bathroom with your
opposite hand.
Do you love talking about bathroom?
You got to bring up the bathroom.
When's the last time I brought up the bathroom?
You just said that's your wheelhouse.
A bathroom?
Sometime recently you said
like talking about bathroom stuff
in your wheelhouse.
Yeah, because I know
everything you shouldn't,
shouldn't do in a bathroom.
All right.
I was going to say
about the Cam Juergens thing.
Yeah.
You are never as critical
when the,
like the mob is critical
because you are an objective
analyst of the film
and you're never as complimentary
when everybody's being complimentary,
which I think is why
I'm going to turn it over
to you break down the side of the ball.
I know you're going to give it to a straight.
All right.
Well, let's get into this Jaguar's offense.
basically I would say any number you look at this would be you would paint this as a top five top six top seven offense in football
and I would say if you're just like going off of just like watching it and just like letting the film wash over you he would say how is this not like a top three offense in football
and a lot of it they would say like that would probably be like talent based because the the personnel doesn't blow you away but here's the identity of this offense highly efficient group
utilizes motion as well as formation variation,
personnel variation to attack every single level of the field.
And again,
put defenders in dual conflict.
That might sound familiar because we've talked about this last week with Sean McVeigh.
We talked about it the week before with Ben Johnson.
Eagles kind of had a murder's row here of offensive designers and play callers.
They get another one with Liam Cohen.
They marry the run and pass game extremely well.
They can lull you to sleep.
And then they've got Trevor Lawrence.
They've kind of convinced him to learn how to go big game hunting now
and be more aggressive down the field,
extremely efficient, extremely explosive.
They can attack you in lots of different ways.
It's a really sound scheme.
It's a methodical and purposeful scheme.
There's nothing that's like, oh, yeah, like, I don't know what the purpose is that.
Like, no, like, everything has a reason.
It's very similar to the things we talked about with McVeigh and with Ben Johnson.
I will say, like, I was slow to come around to Liam Cohen.
Yeah.
He's made me a believer in the last, like, year and change.
Yeah, he is like a character.
I think that he probably is in that he's not like Nick Siriani,
but in terms of like being polarizing to opposite fan base.
as I could see that.
But yeah, I mean, this has been a tough stretch for the Eagles defense.
A question.
I will say the one thing I just remembered, you know, who his guy is.
Who's his guy?
Gris.
Oh, yeah, you're right.
They were very, very close.
He wanted to bring the Gris as his OC and Tampa blocked him because it was a very messy
divorce with Liam Cohen in Tampa because initially he was going to go and then he was
going to stay and then last minute took the offer from the Jaguar.
So maybe the Grizz is in the defensive meeting rooms this week trying to bring a couple
things down.
So what are our, what is he going to be telling the defense?
What are the keys this week?
Yeah, key number one, you got to defend the middle of the field
against his defense or against his offense.
Trevor Lawrence has the seventh most completions of any quarterback to the middle of the field.
So the seams and inside, this is from NextGen stats.
So I went through and I looked this up.
The seventh most, hear me out here,
seventh most completions to the middle of the field to receivers with at least
three yards of separation.
All right?
So they do a really good job of scheming guys open
and attacking that area of the field.
And when I was looking at like,
all right,
who are the six quarterbacks ahead of him?
He is significantly behind a lot of those guys
in attempts to that area.
He's 23 of 25 on those plays
for 323 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
So they're targeting that area at a pretty high rate,
but he is so good.
Like on those throws,
he has just been money, Trevor Lawrence.
Trevor Lawrence is playing it.
This is the best I've ever seen him play
over the course of his career.
They are going to target that area.
They know like the Eagles right now, like they're going to play a lot of cover six.
They're going to play.
We saw them play a lot of cover two.
Hopefully if Quinnion Mitchell's back on the field, maybe that allows you to have a little bit more variety from a coverage standpoint.
Because I thought the Rams, they kind of dialed in to like, all right, this is what the Eagles are doing from a coverage standpoint.
You saw that down the stretch in the fourth quarter where they were pushing every button to essentially attack Jehad Campbell's role.
Like that spot in underneath zone coverage to the boundary side.
We said like, all right, we're going to spam that side of the field with all these different routes.
and basically just attack that role in the defense.
If you are that predictable against this defense or against this offense,
Liam Cohen will make you pay.
It makes me wonder.
It brings me back to something Vic said on the podium earlier this week
when asked about, does Jeremiah Trotter Jr.,
has he earned a bigger role in the defense?
And he said, like, yeah, maybe.
See, but like, that's the thing.
You wouldn't want to happen.
If Trotter was out there, he's getting, he's getting toasted the same way.
Okay.
And honestly, it might have been worse.
Yeah.
I'm, I just, it might have been worse.
It's less about like, do they,
they just play Trotter Jr.
I'm not saying that.
I'm wondering if,
if Jihad Campbell has a rough game,
especially if he's dealing with an injury.
Right.
If there's like some rotation that happens there.
Yeah,
especially with what we saw against the bears.
Maybe.
Yeah,
that'll be something to watch.
Again,
like,
here's the way I look at it
with like developmental players.
Yeah.
We're at an information deficit.
Right?
Like,
because to me,
if a guy is putting in all the work behind the scenes,
and it's just like,
yeah,
like he's still developing.
He's still coming along.
leave him out there and you let him take his lumps and you got it like you just live with it.
That's the price you pay when you draft developmental players.
You don't want to draft.
If you don't want guys to develop, don't draft those guys.
Yeah.
And draft guys that are more pro ready or, you know, they say like,
all right, we're not going to draft Jehad Campbell.
We're going to say we've got Jeremiah Trotter Jr.
And he's a different archetype of player.
But that's who we want to live with.
As long as Jehad Campbell is putting in all the work and I don't know that he is or isn't,
from what I can gather, he is.
Yeah.
And so I would say if that's the case and you have, you're bought in on him,
and you think that he's going to be a good player for you down the road,
you stick with him.
You let him play it out.
And you take some of the lumps along the way.
But that's the way I look at it.
Jordan Miletus said yesterday,
don't dip your toe on the water, drown on the water, and learn how to swim.
I think that that's a good analogy there.
Yeah, I like that.
All right.
What do we got for the second key?
All right.
This is going to be similar to last week.
You got to heat up Trevor Lawrence.
And we said this last week when it came to Matthew Stafford,
how his numbers dropped dramatically when you are able to pressure Matthew Stafford
and you kind of make him feel uncomfortable.
The teams right now, defenses are blitzing Trevor Lawrence at a really high rate.
You go back to like New England a couple weeks ago.
There was like the highest we've seen that defense blitz in the last couple of years.
You go back to last week in Cincinnati.
They were trying to find ways to be able to heat him up.
Lawrence right now, he is carving up defenses with a four-man rush.
Nine yards per 10, 9.0 yards per attempt versus a four-man rush.
That's the second most of the NFL.
He's got a 131.3 pass-rating versus non-blitzes this year.
That's the ninth highest by any quarterback in the first.
the next-gen era.
So like,
against a pure four-man rush,
he's been carving it up.
Now, we know the Eagles,
like,
McFangio,
they're not a high blitz operation.
So I'm not expecting Vic to say,
like,
all right,
we're going to bring that number down,
but you got to find ways to,
they got to impact him.
They have to heat him up.
If he is comfortable,
he's on a heater right now,
they got to get him off his spot.
This feels like one of those games
where if the past rush struggles early,
the game script could get out of control
because you could,
you could envision Vic like emotionally blitzing as the game progresses,
which yeah, maybe it works for them,
but they have not been necessarily like a consistently successful blitz team under Vic.
So it's going to be like a big like Ken Jalen Carter,
Ken Jalick's Hunt, can they win those matchups early in the game.
Yeah, not having Grenard, unfortunate.
Especially we saw them like kind of mix in the,
that three fast look last week.
Like, you know, with all three with Hunt and Smith and Grenard out in the field.
So maybe we'll have to wait a couple more weeks to see that.
again. It's a bummer the way that his season has started. I'm sure he would totally agree.
All right. Third key.
Tackling, tackling, tackling.
Dayne has put out a stat this morning on social media, just saying like how the Eagles tackle rate is,
or mistackle rate rather, is so much higher than what we've seen in years past.
This is the defense you don't want to do that with because they've got the ability to
make plays after the catch when you look at some of these past catchers.
Jacoby Myers has that ability to play through contact.
The rookie Josh Cameron, who by the way, like one of my notes while watching him,
So he's a rookie sixth round pick out of Baylor.
He is for that offense exactly what Darius Cooper should be.
Okay.
He is the same type of player.
So all this love that you're seeing out there, like in the football hipster community.
The tacticos?
Yeah.
In the football hipster community for Josh Cameron, that should be Darius Cooper in this offense.
It's like he and he's taken snaps away from Brian Thomas Jr.
Who like was a former second round pick who had a great.
rookie year and has great height weight speed.
But it's like that this guy's going to do a lot of the dirty work and he unlocks other
things that we're able to do.
Look at the play action game and all the different.
He had an explosive the other day against Cincinnati where he lined up and looked
initially like he was going to block and then they brought him across the formation and dumped
it off and he caught Cincinnati by surprise.
I know I think it was Dan Arlowski did a breakdown on that play.
Actually, I saw this morning after watching that play on film yesterday.
So yeah, he's a really fun player.
That said, going up against this rushing attack.
So it's a dual-headed rushing game
where you've got Bashal Tutin,
second year player out of Virginia Tech.
All he does, he's like a,
he's like Doug Martin.
Like the muscle hamster.
So when he was down in Tampa,
rocked up, outstanding contact balance,
but he's also got explosiveness.
Like he's kind of like a faster
Kyron Williams is the way I would do.
And Eagles have had issues with like Kyron Williams
with players of this archetype.
So this is,
official tootin is a guy they got to worry about.
Chris Rodriguez is more your classic like downhill thumper,
but Tutin is really, really strong.
The stat I got here on Tutin,
nearly half of Tutin's rushing yards
have come after a mistackle this year.
It's the highest mistackle share
of any running back in the NFL.
So this is a guy that, you know,
if you're able to get him rolling,
it's kind of like Sequin,
where if you're able to get him rolling,
he's got that ability to create that forward momentum.
All right.
I want to hear your lark horse player.
We will get to it to a tight end.
Could it be Beau's favorite player, Nate Borgature?
We'll find out in
Fran Duffie time.
Terrible time.
Sounds awful.
Brand Duffy time?
Yeah.
The best time there is, man.
That sounds terrible.
Borkature time.
Borker time.
So they're leaning a lot more into like the, the, the, uh, the two tight end sets.
Yeah.
Uh, with Borgature on the team.
Borkature action.
So what is that done is that it is unlocked Brent and Strange.
He is my, he is my Lark Horse player, uh, for this offense.
Brent and Strange, um, I was going to throw, uh,
the Brent and Strange comp on Kenya Sadiq,
but I thought that people wouldn't get excited enough by that.
I've always liked Brent and Strange.
He was a guy I had a high grade on when he came out of Penn State a few years ago.
He's a little bit more like a compact frame,
but a good athlete who gets after you as a blocker.
And now that you have Borkature to be like the more traditional in-line guy
that allows you to kind of use Strange as the movement blocker,
because again, he's not the classic,
oh, you're going to put your hand in the dirt and block a defensive end one-on-one,
but you can use him in a lot of creative ways.
They're doing that with Strange, but then they're also able to move them around.
Attack in the middle of the field, intermediate area, like,
threaten Strange is the got to watch in this game.
I mean, you know I like that archetype of player, so I'm excited to see that.
Next-hand stat, before we get to swooper.
Trevor Lawrence has thrown downfield at the highest rate in the NFL this year.
43.3%.
He's completing 60% of those passes, which is fifth highest in the league,
six touchdowns tied for second.
We know that the Eagles defense, they have pride of themselves on stopping
explosives over the course of the Vic Fangio era here in Philadelphia. But this year, they're allowing
55.8 completion percentage on those downfield passes, which is the 10th highest rate in the NFL.
Only one touchdown, a couple of those picks that we saw last week on those downfield throws.
But can you kind of thwart Trevor Lawrence and that passing game?
Yeah, for as talented a quarterback as he is, and you did a good job laying this out, it does
feel like that stat is reflective of the coaching. Because even when he was at Clemson, you could
tell, like, he's kind of crazy arm, but he has, like, no touch. He's kind of, I'm not saying
stylistically as a quarterback. He is very similar to this guy, but just in, like, the touch
aspect, he's kind of like McNabb, where it's always a laser. It's like never, like, a nice
touch pass over the, over the defense. Maybe he's, like, layering more throws these days,
but that always seemed like his, his bag to me. Yeah, he's playing the best football of his career,
right? He's, he's looked awesome. Okay. All right. Do we do another short here for the
keys? Yeah, yeah. All right. I mean, let me tee you up. All right. All right. All right.
All right, Fran, I need the keys for the Eagles defense in this game against the Jaguars.
All right. Well, it starts number one. You've got to be able to defend the middle of the field.
The Jaguars have been one of the best teams in the NFL right now at attacking that deep intermediate area between the numbers, between the hash marks.
So that comes down to your linebackers, your safeties, and your nickel corner.
Can you defend that area of the field be really sound in your zone coverage concepts?
They do an outstanding job of creating space for those playmakers across the middle of the field.
Number two, you've got to be able to heat up Trevor Lawrence.
And whether it's with the blitz or not,
he has been so, so good when he is not under pressure this season.
Facing a four-man rush, he has been like elite in terms of carving up opposing defenses.
You've got to make him feel uncomfortable.
Teams have tried to do it with the blitz and you've seen some effectiveness.
We know that that's not necessarily the way that Vic Fangio wants to play.
So you've got to be able to find ways to heat up Trevor Lawrence and make your presence felt as a pass rush.
And then number three, you've got to tackle better.
They have got to bring their big boy pants going to try to try and try and
tackle, Bashul Tutin, first and foremost, the running back there for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The tackling has got to be sound in this game.
Keep them behind the sticks, force them to third and long, get off the field.
What a professional.
All right.
It's time for Swooper.
Good job breaking it down.
How do you feel overall about the matchup?
Did like the deep dive make you feel better or worse about the Eagles chances?
I was going to say about the Eagles chances.
Yeah, it's hard to feel really good about it, considering what we watched this past week.
but who knows
all right
we are going to go
to the Xfinity mobile call-in line
for a man whose arms
are probably a little bit tired
exhausted
Bobby Coyote
what's going on man
well
well well
what do we have here
oh no
so it's Bobby Coyote
like a British guy then
never heard of that
How are we doing?
Are you excited?
My long lost brothers, how are you?
I'm trying to see like what's the
English version of a wolf,
but that's, yeah.
I think it's just a wolf, yeah.
You're looking at him.
How's the, how's the flight?
I'll die in a little bit.
All right.
How we, how overall, though,
listening to Friends Breakdown.
Any big picture takeaways about the game
that you want to get to before we get to,
before we get the Swipper?
Yeah, my biggest picture takeaway is I wish you would have come to me when I signed on 15 minutes
ago.
I texted you an update on the time.
I'm sorry.
You know, you know.
You say three o'clock?
It's 305.
It doesn't sound good for the Eagles.
Jake Majors starting at center?
That's actually a pretty good accent.
No, he sounds too, like Australian?
He sounds like a dingo, like, uh,
Oh, how dare you.
I got dough.
I got dough we talk like this.
Oh, that's better.
I don't think that was better.
I didn't even know what he just said.
Oh, what's all this then.
All right, let's get to Swooper.
All right, we are going to run to Swooper.
It's time to start Swooper.
Oh, this is a bidding game.
There will be 12 items.
And I blew turkeys in that one, which then affected me the next.
What?
I did get it.
And there you go.
I need help.
Is anyone else as excited as I am?
There's like one item a week where you just sound so like smug and shirving yourself.
Unbelievable loss for me.
Although I'm feeling good because the vapor is coming off this thing.
Maybe this is what you need to turn it around in the looper.
Yeah.
It's a backup.
Oh, jeez.
Okay.
I don't think you know you don't get...
No, no, no, no.
No, no.
Sold.
Wouldn't be swooper
if I got the order right
the entire time.
That's right.
We are now in Swuper's Sourcasting.
Last week,
it was a valiant effort by me,
obviously,
but it was a three-way tie.
We all had...
Obviously.
As we all remember,
it was a valiant effort by E.J.
It was, it was a very valiant effort by me, but three-way tie.
So, Bo, I believe, is still in the lead by a couple of rounds.
Yeah, we got the results here.
So Bo has a one point lead over Fran, but I'm on the board.
At the very least, I'm on the board.
So I feel good about that.
Going into this week, we have, I think, Bo has a war chest of turkeys here.
I've got, I lost a little bit of turkeys on the Duffy driver's seat.
here. I am at 21 turkeys, Fran, you're at 27. Bo, you, like I said, have a war chest set.
41 there. The order this week begins with you, Fran. It's going to be Fran, then me, then you,
Bo. So, Fran, without further ado, why don't you kick us off? All right, let's go to our first one here
as I pull it up. First one, Jalen Hertz has at least 10 rushing attempts in the game. That's something
that he has only done twice since the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2024. So it's not like
He hasn't completely abandoned it.
Did it twice last year.
One of them was in week one against the Cowboys to open the season.
So 10 rushing attempts for Jalen Hertz in this game.
No Sequin Barkley, no tank Biggsby.
I'm going to start the bidding at three.
I'm going to let you have it for three.
I don't know about Bobby Coyote over there.
When you go silent, we don't know if we dropped you or not.
You can't free.
Too rich from my blood.
It's yours for three.
I'll take it for three.
especially like that early season one.
Like we kind of know that Jalen has a tendency to do that.
I'm a little bit worried about that one.
All right, I am up.
And my first entry here is going to be a pick your champion challenge.
The Eagles record.
God, it's so small.
I know.
The Eagles record more third quarter first downs than one of the following Premier League teams has goals.
The winner may select any London-based club in the Premier League
in these following games.
This is a ridiculous.
It's not ridiculous.
They're in London.
It's a London themed swooper entry.
I don't know anything about these.
So that's on you, Fran.
You choose,
you use your free time the way you choose.
You're opening Pandora's box.
All right.
So you can pick one of the following teams.
I got to look up the stats, Fran.
What's that?
I got a doze.
Look up the stats.
That's a good point.
It took me a minute to understand
what he was trying to say,
but it is a good point.
All you have to do is look up the stats.
So you can only pick.
the teams in the first column,
because those are the London-based teams.
So you can pick between Tottenham,
Chelsea, Arsenal, Fulham, and Brentford.
You can pick whichever champion you want,
and they have to score more goals
than the Eagles have third-quarter first downs.
Everybody clear?
No.
You, it's written as the Eagles have more first downs
than the others.
You just said the other way.
You are correct.
They have to record more.
third quarter first downs.
So you're picking a team who thinks not going to
score goals. So the winner of the item has to then pick
a club. Yeah, you pick your team. Got it.
But you want your team to not score goals. You want your team
not to score goals. Right.
Okay. Pick your champion. I'm going to start the bidding at three.
For the record, next week, I'm going to do one on like Francis's soccer clubs.
Oh, you can't compare the Premier League to Francis's soccer club.
That's on you. You can come to the game and watch if you want.
have an idea if Lucas gonna score.
I got those.
You did more on the Heisman speech last year.
It was a little bit different.
Is it?
Yeah, I think we're all a little bit more in tune with that.
But okay, let's go.
Speak for yourself.
Start the bidding at three.
Four.
Four.
Five.
Six.
Seven.
You'd have it for seven.
Oh, I don't want it.
Yep.
I didn't want it either.
All right.
I'm taking, taking it for seven.
What did you call this one again?
And I'm taking...
Yeah, who you're taking?
Not Brentford.
Not Brentford.
I don't feel amazing about that game.
So I'm taking Spurs.
Just labeling it in here.
Soccer Club BS.
That's what I ended in here.
You got that for seven?
Got it for seven.
All right, Bo, you're up.
All right, I've also got a soccer prop for us.
Oh, my gosh.
The higher...
I got to change it in my eye.
accent here. Hold on a second. Oh, my God. So are you going to have the same energy for him as you had for me?
I don't know. I haven't seen it. I got like seconds. Let's say. We're doing the Beatles now.
Oh, oh, successful under center play action passes for the Eagles or Darius Cooper.
Whichever one of those is more. That is greater than the combined goals in Westham QPR on Friday night.
That's the game. I'm going to.
Oh, yeah?
Oh, so that one's fine.
That's great.
Soccer's a great sport.
I'm going to start the bed in it, too.
Three.
Four.
I'm out on four.
Bose got it for four.
To the guy who can't remember how to talk.
All right, let's check it over to date.
Hopefully that's the last of the, of the, of the, it will not be.
All right, Danez's first item.
The Eagles convert at least one first down on their first possession of the second half.
Eagles have gone three and out on their first second half possession in all four games.
I was wondering if Danez was going to do a three and out one because the, so the Eagles are like 30th in the NFL in three and out percentage.
The Jaguars defensively are 30th and forcing three and outs.
So like there was an, there's a, there's a interesting.
out of there, yes, yes.
Symbiosis.
But this is only for the opening drive of the third quarter, correct?
Yeah, I'll start debitting it too.
One first down.
Three.
I'm out.
It's yours for three.
It's good value.
What faith in the Eagles offense?
Unbelievable.
Your ability to just flow between the two of the various accents to go from
John Lennon to Billy Butcher,
all within 45 seconds.
One way I put it.
All right, Franz.
You are nine.
All right.
Zach Hertz sets the Eagles
franchise record for receptions.
This item carries over
until it hits.
Set the bidding at four.
I believe he's, what, seven away right now?
I believe so.
Yeah.
I got a return to Dallas Goddard
potentially this week.
Maybe that might limit some of that.
Five.
Six.
Seven.
Look a light.
See, like, that was, that was Australian.
Uh, nine.
I got a dose say 10, EJ.
You see how many, you see this abacus, man?
I got that kind of money.
Nine.
You got ten.
Um, 11.
Oh.
He got it.
What are you holding these turkeys for, Bell?
Zach would be proud.
Bofa.
All right.
My second entry.
Will Shipley's rushing totals
surpasses the percentage of possession
Arsenal have against Lee's United on Saturday.
You suck.
I mean, this was not that hard to figure out,
it's going to be somewhere between 50 and 60%.
You would imagine.
So is Will Shipley going to have more than 60 rushing yards?
That's what you have to decide.
I'm starting to bidding it to.
three four I'm out all yours bill before before for four all right your
it's a good thing we talked about will Shipley because he plays into something
that I've got here that was good that was pretty good at some point in this game
the Eagles take a snap with not a single white guy on the field now
I thought if Drew Kendall was down,
we'd get the offensive line of big EJ's dreams.
Unfortunately, Jake Majors, whoof.
But if he goes down, if Will Shipley's not on the field,
if Cooper de Gene goes down,
I reckon we might see a colorful lineup for the Eagles.
Yeah, they do.
Reckin is there?
Yeah.
Yes, they're all that.
For those in the chat who are,
of this. I think it's okay for me to share this. My dad called me earlier this week and my dad is
really sweet man. He loves all people from all walks of life. I want to qualify it with that.
But he's an eye for everyone black kind of guy, which, you know, I can totally, I feel the same.
I understand. I think it's an understandable thing. He's like, they got to start all brothers on that
offensive line. They got to have all five of those guys out there. They'll take real pride in that
having an all black offensive line. That'd be really special. So after the Cam Jergens trade, I was on the
phone with my dad. I'm like, you know, how he might be listening to you? And he said, it's going to be
great. They're going to look like grambling out there. I don't think it's ever happened in the
history of the franchise. Yeah. Maybe like it would have had to have been decades ago if it did.
Yeah, I'd have to think about that. I don't think so. Certainly not between here. I'm going to start
the bidet too. I feel kind of weird bidding on this one. I don't think I can root for this.
I don't know.
Are you sure?
It's a Fred Johnson left part away.
No, I don't feel like, I don't feel like it'll happen.
You can have it.
As much as I hate giving one up for two.
Yeah, it's good value.
All right, we're going back over today, Niz.
The broadcast mentions that Jaguar's starting cornerback,
Jerry and Jones, was the player Sequin Barclay backwards hurtled in 2024.
Showing a clip is not enough.
They must identify Jerry and Jones.
And this is an all-pay English oxen.
Normal public
This one
Normal public bidding
High bidder wins
All bidders pay
For their own last bid
High bidder wins
So
Oh
Oh this is interesting
I'm gonna start the bidding
At
One
Three
It's mine
Yeah
Mine for three
Yeah
Did Danes trick me here
Did I miss something here?
No
It's just I don't know
That they'll
Definitely
I didn't want to have to
Give up four
If I was gonna lose it
Yeah
I feel like they will bring it up though
I think
It's a great call out.
Yeah.
I just don't know that they will specifically call out Jarian Jones.
Sequin's not even playing in the game.
Huh?
Sequin Barclay is not even playing in the game.
Yeah, but they still might point it out.
I mean, they're going to be trying to appeal to a national audience.
I like it.
All right.
Back over to you, Fran.
The last one.
Yeah.
Trevor Lawrence is credited with a fumble.
Remember the time.
I feel like every time the Eagles play against.
Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars.
He's good for putting the ball on the brown.
Putting the ball on the ground a couple times.
So just one fumble, doesn't have to lose it,
but he's credited with a fumble.
We'll start the bidding.
What about a fumble recovery or a fumble forced?
Huh?
Oh, okay.
Or if he forces a fumble.
No, he's credited with like he fumbles the football.
Not so, yeah.
If Tudin fumbles it and he jumps on the recovery,
that does not count.
Start the bidding at two.
Three.
Four.
think I'm out
well me too
I'm out
I'll take it
Eagles are due
they've got the interceptions
got the interceptions last week
I think you mean
Eagles a do-doo
I have no idea what he just said
all right my next one
my final one
the number of times Jalen Hertz
is sack
surpasses the number of yellow cards
given out to Nottingham Faris players
in their match against
Crystal Palace.
This is a, you know, I'd give you a little bit of context.
Yeah, let's get some context.
Forest.
I mean, they're not as combative as Bo's favorite team, Brighton, who are not eligible
for this exercise because they're not playing a team in London.
But they are pretty combative, I would say.
There could be some yellow cards given out.
So, like, what does that mean?
Two, three?
Maybe, like four.
Okay.
Maybe.
What am I, what are we picking against?
I can't help you any more than this, though.
This is about who knows ball and who does.
What is the number of what?
Number of Jalen hurts sacks.
Oh.
Times Jalen hurts his sack, to be clear.
All right, I'm going to start the bidding at three.
It's more than the flags?
More than the yellow cards, yes.
I've got a dough.
The degree to which Fran is going to spend all week thinking about a way
just to get back at you for the CJ.
It's already done.
Retribution is coming your way.
I mean, no regrets.
It's a fun wrinkle in the Swipper universe.
You guys told me to put more effort into these.
There.
Three.
What's the bid at?
Three.
Four.
I really want you to have one of the soccer ones.
Five.
I'm not bitten.
You're out?
I'm good.
Have that one.
All righty.
Okay.
Back to you, Bo.
The longest touchdown of the game is longer in yards than the turkeys spent on this item.
Oh.
Oh, that's a good one.
I'm going to start the big.
at nine.
Good bid.
I'm out.
Oh, nobody can bid.
It's mine.
Oh, you have that you?
How many do you have?
I got three the abacus.
I got six.
You have six?
I have a literal abacus to tell you how many turkeys.
I'm counting your abacus from across the desk.
All right.
Good, good one, don't.
Yeah, it's right there.
Wow.
All right.
Good one, Bill.
All right.
Final entry from day news.
The Eagles.
win the game. Second-priced sealed bid auction. High bidder wins. They pay the second highest bid. The loser
does not pay anything. There is a tie. Tide bidders continue as normal auction from that point.
Second price rules still apply. Okay. So only the top bidder wins. Yep. Or has to pay. And they pay
the second price. Lindsay, I'm going to send you my bid here. Looks like Bo's going to write his down.
Yep. In some kind of like old scripty. Oh.
style.
Well, in my real house.
Yeah, we got to get him to say
Jaguar before he leaves.
All right.
All right, so Bo's at seven.
Bose at seven.
Fran had three.
And E.J. had five.
I had five.
So you're paying five.
Paying five.
Bo gets it for five.
Eagles win.
No caveats around it.
And who would the Eagles be beating in this scenario,
Joe?
I'm Joe.
The bloody Jaguars.
Jaguar.
That's pretty good.
All right.
Yeah.
So I've got six turkeys going into the next week.
Brian, you've got nine, and somehow Beau still has the most 14 turkeys.
Thank you.
I'm about to say, Bo, it's going to be sad next time we see you.
I mean, I'm not going to see you for a couple days.
Next time I see it'll be game day.
You'll be across the pond.
Who's to say I don't just call in tomorrow anyway?
A cheeky calling in it.
What's all you said?
What's all this is it?
All right, Beau, we love you.
Well, well, well, if it is my two formal partners?
Bye.
You can't wait to love him.
Yeah, Lindsay's like, get this guy out of here.
All right, we got some super chats to get to before we both get out of here.
We have one from Elizabeth Snyder.
Fran, thoughts on the trot over jihad argument.
I feel like we hit on this earlier in the show.
I did, but yeah, address.
To me, like, you got to let, as long as Jihad Campbell is doing
everything right behind the scenes, I think you let him continue to play. If he were to get benched
straight up, then to me, that would be a sign that he is not doing everything right behind the
scenes personally. That would be the way I would read that. But I think if he is, if he is doing everything
right and putting his best foot forward in terms of like getting mentally prepared, then yeah,
you got to keep playing him. And I don't think that he's been as bad as some in the film breakdown
universe may paint him as.
And again, it goes back to,
I think we had this conversation
was after the Bears game
that in a defense like this,
which is most defense in the NFL now,
that's heavy zone based.
And with going up against coaches
that are really good at attacking zone coverages,
it can be duff to disentangle
targeting an individual player
versus targeting a role in a defense.
And so that's what I was saying earlier
where like the or the Rams
down the stretch, we're finding ways to go at Jehad Campbell.
That wasn't a, we are going at, we are, we have a number 11 circled and we are going
to attack him in coverage.
That's not the way that I read that.
I read that as, hey, they are playing a lot of cover six or a lot of, you know, in that
scenario, they're playing a lot of cover six because they're playing, they're putting
a cloud safety over Jonathan Jones's side, right?
Because they want to protect Jonathan Jones.
So if they're playing that coverage, we have all these route concepts dialed up to
to attack the other side of the field
where you have that underneath zone defender
kind of on an island.
So if you run a receiver up against the corner,
that essentially becomes man to man.
So now whoever goes up against Campbell,
he is also in man to man.
And you understand like the leverage for that defender.
There were times where it was wheel routes to the tight end.
There were times where it's kind of like,
hey, we know he's got to work outside.
So we're going to attack outside,
then break back inside.
There was a route that kind of crossed his face that way.
So they just threw the kitchen sink at him
from that standpoint down the stretch.
and it was like route after route after.
It was like three plays in a row
or maybe like four out of five
where they went in that direction.
And that's not a target of Jihad Campbell,
in my opinion.
That's a target of the curl flat defender
in that coverage.
So yeah, like to me,
if you put Jeremiah Trotter Jr. in that spot,
it would have been similar,
if not worst results, in my opinion.
Yeah.
I like Trotter.
And I think that he is,
I don't know,
like I think he's probably a start,
He's probably a starting caliber linebacker in today's NFL.
I think he's more limited than what Campbell can give you.
To me, I would rather have the volatility that you're getting right now
to pay dividends for down the road when you have a guy with his physical skill set.
Yeah, you have to let him grow.
You've drafted him to let him grow.
I think you put that well.
From CDP, a $5 super chat here.
Who will have more passing yards in Tottenham Stadium this year?
Jalen Hertz or Aethan Kalika Manis?
How'd I do there?
It wasn't great, but it wasn't 10.
terrible. How is it actually pronounced?
I forget. It's been
afraid. It's been too long. I know it wasn't that.
It wasn't terrible.
Collique Manus is probably. I think I think that's great.
Malice. Yeah. Sorry. Sorry.
You threw an extra syllable in. Yeah. I was trying. You know, it's no holo-pullivati.
He's, so this is Washington's third string quarterback. So he threw for,
say what he threw for last week.
We have the Aethon. I got Aethon, right? There's no way we can ever know this.
Kali-Eckmanis?
Calliac menace.
He came for 186 last week.
146?
186.
That's a tough one.
But this does go to show like, you know,
when you talk about like the offensive futility
of the last couple weeks.
Yeah.
If that guy can throw for nearly 200 yards
in a game against, you know,
a Colts defense that's not exactly like a bunch of world beaters.
But it's not like Washington's like trotting out
the best personnel in the world offensively.
Yeah.
it shouldn't be that hard.
It should not be hard.
Even when you were breaking down
how teams are attacking
Jahad Campbell's
how they're attacking that spot
at the field,
it's like, man,
why don't the Eagles do this stuff?
They try, I guess.
Yeah.
Calliick Manus.
I think that's it.
Now I think you're erasing a syllable.
No, look.
Cali-E-E-E-E-E-Eus.
Okay.
Calli-Eac-Manus.
Yeah, sure.
All right.
And we hit on everything in this show.
I mean, everything.
Everything.
All right.
That's going to do it
for the P.
I Eagles podcast.
We will be back tomorrow with the professor and BLG and me in studio.
Appreciate you, Fran.
Appreciate the breakdown.
Thank you to Bo for joining from a non-disclosed location on his way to London.
A questionable accent.
But anyway, we will see you tomorrow at 2 o'clock.
And as always, we love you.
