champion version of the PHLY Eagles podcast.
Chances of me having a voice by the end of this show are...
I'm filling in for Vinny.
Vinny is up on the rooftop and joining the scenes of Broad Street.
This is Julia, our awesome producer.
Hello.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
And of course, the post-game show presented by our friends at Bet365.
You can find out why.
It's never ordinary.

And our friends at Ace Hardware Home Services,

That was pretty cool, guys.
And B's here, too.
I mean, the...
Come on, Jamie, we were talking about it before we went live.
The most impressive win in Philly Sports History.
I think you can make that.
case absolutely because of who you took
Oh I think it's it's up there
Yeah I think it's I think it's number one I think this guy guys this is
So unbelievably satisfying I cannot put into words like
The Phillies winning they broke the 25 year drop that was that was awesome
The Eagles winning that was the one that we all really wanted
Yeah the first time it was unlike anything guys to lose to this team two years ago
Make it back two years later and in
embarrass them in the Super Bowl.
It's unbelievable.
I'm like speechless.
I mean,
not hyperbole to say like the most dominant performance defensively in Super Bowl history.
I mean,
what the Eagles defense did tonight against Patrick from Holmes and Annie Reed and this Eagle
and his chief's offense.
Here comes.
Let's go.
What?
What the Eagles defense and this Vic Fangio unit did?
Must.
Stop!
Vinny, what did you see if this Eagles defense tonight?
Straight domination.
Straight domination.
40% plus on a depression.
Oh, well, I'm so hype right now.
Got me out of Mike.
Come on.
And we're going to have a merch link in the show description.
Oh, Vinnie Bia.
Vanilla, this.
I told you all, I'm going to buy me with this scorpion.
I said, I told you so, but I told you so.
So like throughout most of the game, Patrick Mahomes was pressured at like over 50% of the snaps.
Late in the third quarter, it got down to 50%.
It finished at 38 because they was just getting the ball out fast.
That was still at 38% the most he's ever been pressured in a game ever.
And for the most of the game, it was up over 50% just to give a people an idea of like what, how the Eagles dismantled that offensive line.
Insane.
Let me tell you something.
The man had the screensaver on there for a year of some change.
You want to talk about a revenge game.
You want to talk about getting your look back.
Well, that's how you get your lick back.
It's unbelievable.
And as good as the defense was, Jalen played an awesome game.
I thought in the second half, especially, like, nursing that lead, like five or six,
awesome plays.
Obviously, the deep ball to Smitty, perfect throw.
Great play call.
I can't believe it.
It's as good as a guest.
Jaylen Hertz, MVP.
He got it.
Just got it.
That's good.
That's good.
Yeah, that's good.
And then we talked about,
a friend,
we talked about down to,
now the New Orleans,
but we was down there.
Yeah.
Everybody's like, oh, you know,
it's going to be a blitz.
I said, you know,
blitz, you better make the play
because you're leaving a whole open.
And what did you see?
You see the man
that extending the plays with his legs.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Come on, man.
Everybody in chat.
Come on.
Give me a thumbs up, a bird or something.
We turned up right now.
This is unbelievable.
And our TV's failing so we can't actually watch the ceremony.
But Jalen Hertz is your Super Bowl 59 MVP.
What a story arc for him.
And Nick Siriani will get into all that.
But Jalen Hertz, wow.
He made a McIjorie commercial for his new show.
Yeah.
Jalen Hertz, Super Bowl MVP, often criticized.
you know, often, you know, his stats are dissected.
And none of it matters because the man's a Super Bowl MVP and the Philadelphia Eagles are the champions for the second time in eight years.
Three Super Bowl trips in eight years.
The birds are the gold standard in the NFC.
And soon we'll be punching wait for weight with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Things are tremendous in the city of Brotherly Loeb.
It's pandemonium outside right.
All you can hear is horns.
People are hunking.
They're about to turn up tonight.
Oh, it's going to be great.
Well, the fireworks started like a third quarter.
Like you could hear like a little after a half time.
You could hear the popping in Center City.
So people are probably running out of the fireworks here in Philadelphia.
I mean, guys, like I'm like like the most superstitious person in the world.
So watching a game with me is miserable.
They're up 14.
In fairness, in fairness, I would point back to the Rams game a couple weeks ago for reasons why I am.
way. I just, I had my feet up the whole fourth quarter. That was unbelievable. Yeah, you cracked a
beer. Eagles last, the last three Super Bowls are all three point games, uh, especially the last two
barn burners win one. Vinnie won that one. And, and the one against the Chiefs last year, like,
classic games. And they told America, you're not getting a good Super Bowl tonight because we are
going to whip these guys up front. Oh, unbelievable. But listen, when we was down in New Orleans,
you could just look in these guys eyes. They was locked in. I got no,
Jellon.
Like, I didn't get to talk to him.
You said it.
Oh, we got to talk to the head by, but you know what?
Go ahead.
I'm going to let you be locked in.
And tonight, he showed us all.
He was locked in Mr. MVP.
Mr. O'No.
Talking with people late in the week over the last couple days, even this morning,
it felt like that first Super Bowl a couple years ago against this team,
this is the first version of this team under Nick Siriani, under Jalen Hertz,
a little emotional.
They let emotion get the best of them in that game out in the desert.
They lose to the chiefs late in the game.
And it was an emotional roller coaster ride.
This trip down in New Orleans, all business guys were locked in from the jump.
You said it Monday night, like leaving the media, the opening night down at the Superdome.
You said these guys just looked locked in.
And that was like that, that was the phrase you kept hearing from people inside the building over the course of the last few days.
And it showed up.
I mean, this, they dominated this team on both sides.
goes back to the belief, the core value system of this organization from Jeffrey Lurie,
Howard Roseman on down on winning the line of scrimmage and continuing to replenish those
resources on the offense and defensive line. How often did Jalen Hertz drop back tonight?
And he had all the time in the world. The offensive line was dominant in the run game all
season long. The defensive line took over this game. The number one reason they won this game.
Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, you look at Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith. Those guys were in
Patrick Mahomes face from the jump,
just a dominant performance on both sides
of the ball on the line of scrimmage.
I've watched a lot of Patrick Mahomes in my life.
I have never seen him that unsettled.
Vinny, his feet were all over the place,
those typical Superman type of plays
that he pulls out of his behind all the time.
He was off on.
He was behind guys.
He looked frustrated.
He was seeing ghosts.
Credit to the D-line,
and they barely blizzed.
How about this?
When the last time you saw Andy Reed
with a team with that many flags?
Yeah.
Yeah, no question.
I mean, they had no answers.
That's what you call.
Nick had his guy so locked in.
Don't beat yourself.
Yep.
Don't beat yourself.
Man, I'm so happy for these guys, man.
They had, as we can hear, the helicopters outside, the police sirens, the people chain in.
Bring out the finest horse poop the city has to offer.
Somebody will lead it.
I'm trying to tell you.
Are you signing up?
Somebody.
They needed to go in.
That sounded like you were signing up.
No, no, no, no, no.
Some idiot out there will take it.
There's plenty of people to leave the worst poop, not me.
But yeah, it's going to be an absolute scene.
I saw they grease the poles down on Bourbon Street.
So I know Zach is planning on hitting Bourbon Street when it's all over to capture some footage.
Maybe have a hurricane.
We'll see.
But what a remarkable season.
I'm going to have a hurricane.
Yeah, I mean, no, but he definitely will be having an hurricane.
Just, yeah.
I mean, just unbelievable win, unbelievable season.
This is a team that was number one defense in the entire NFL from the jump,
number one run game from the jump.
And we talked about it all throughout.
It was like, man, like if the past game could be explosive,
if the past game could be efficient.
Jalen Hertz comes out tonight, 17 to 22 for 221, two touchdowns through the air.
He added like 70 yards on the ground, some of it by design,
some of it scrambles on third down, coming up with huge plays with his legs.
again, just keeping this Chief's team off balance.
I mean, they got into Chief's territory on nearly every drive.
It just suffocated them offensively.
And defensively, we talked about just that four-man rush consistently getting home.
All right.
Let's get to the Xfinity Game Ball, which is brought to you by our friends at Xfinity Mobile.
Join the millions who have switched to one of the fastest growing mobile services.
I myself am a Xfinity Mobile user.
We'll start with you.
We'll go down the line.
Fran.
Who's your Xfinity Game Ball going?
going to. I mean, you got to give it to the MVP. You got to give it to Jalen Hertz.
To me, I thought Vinny, I thought sweaty had a shot at it.
We got a third quarter. He had that he had that sack in the third quarter. I was like, man,
he might get this thing. Uh, yeah, to end up with six pressures on the night, two and a half
sacks, forced a tumble, forced an interception. Um, but I think when you look at Jalen
Hertz, I just rolled through his numbers, the poise that he showed, the consistency that he
showed from start to finish in this football game. He had the interception where he was pressured
in the first half, but outside of that, really the only blemish on his record in this game. I
think you got to give it to Jalen Hertz.
Rich, what do you got?
Sweat,
sweat was a good call, too.
I was about to tear my rotator cup.
I was doing the celebration so much during the game.
I'm going to give it to Vic Fangio.
This guy is the godfather of modern NFL defense.
He has been so influential over the past.
Let's call it 15 years.
So many disciples trying to replicate his system and try and, you know,
make teams matriculate the ball down the field slow,
has never won a Super Bowl,
goes back to New Orleans, a place where he lost a very close Super Bowl a little over 10 years ago,
and he puts on one of the most dominant performances against a team that put on one of the most
dominant performances against this Eagles team just a couple of years ago. And it's so great because
like you just need the championship. Obviously what Vic has done to this point already was
unbelievable. But this was the exclamation point. And nobody will ever forget that this was one of the
worst defenses in the league at the end of last year.
The turnaround from then to now, it's like unprecedented.
And a lot of that, but a lot of that credit belongs to the players and Howie and bringing
in the two, uh, the two rooks in the secondary.
But man, Uncle Vic Fangio, what a job by him.
He is, I mean, he's as good as it gets, man.
Vinnie, who's your Expedity Mobile game ball going to?
You know what, man.
I'm, I'm, I'm going.
So many people you could go, man.
I just like, but you know what?
Let's go with the birthday boy.
The pick six.
That was,
I love it.
That's the Devontere of the play of the game.
That right there was kind of like,
Musta!
You know, I'm like, oh, it was crazy, man.
So, well, I'm going to go with the birthday boy, man.
Yeah, Cooper DeGee.
That was a hell of, like.
You can see our reaction to it on our social media.
Oh, my God.
That play, that be your first.
interception of rookie, pick six, in the Super Bowl to really get, like,
snatch the momentum away, man, Cooper de Jr., you are my game ball MVP.
I guess, I'm torn between Devante since you guys took some good one,
and that Zach Vaughn pick.
But Milton Williams was everywhere.
I'll go with Devonty.
I'll give the Slim Reaper my Expedity mobile game ball.
That was my second favorite play of the game.
because at that point in the game, it's first down.
As soon as they hiked it, I was just like, go for it, go for it, go for it.
Because Rich, you said it.
They were expecting run.
The Eagles were trying to get Sequan going at that point.
And it was just like a kill shot over the top.
Perfect ball to Devante.
Hell of a catch.
Hell of a throw.
It was beautiful.
And that's a guy who like sacrificed so a lot because number one, they're running the ball with Seekwan a lot.
Number two, like AJ is the go-to receiver.
You know, Devante is one of the best receivers in the NFL.
full stop. So for him to make that play,
Jamie very close to his home in Louisiana.
Getting the chance to go home,
obviously has been one of our favorite players,
was the guy who's,
he was the draft pick that started the turnaround from the 2020 season,
has been here the whole way,
has been here with Jalen for that time as well.
Unbelievable.
Really is.
Let's run through some of the super chats we have here.
So many.
Wow,
$100 from Polar, Jay.
That's a lot.
Let's go.
Polar Jam.
Yeah.
Power Jam.
Polar Jam.
Polar Jam.
Polar Jam.
Poehler Jam.
Polar Jam says,
For God, I ordered
the P. H.L.L.I.
Cicose T-shirt in August
until I found it
before the Packers game
wore in every game this postseason.
Hell yeah, fan.
Oh, yeah.
Come.
Go ahead.
Thank you, Mr. Polar, Jan.
Everybody hit that thumbs up
button while you're in here.
All right.
Next up, we got Cleveland John.
That was
fun, let's do it again.
Yeah.
Before we move on to the Super Chats, I will not lie.
You've been there twice in three years.
You got something special here.
I know you're going to lose some guys in free agency
because this roster is loaded and you can't afford anyone.
This feels like a little bit of a mini dynasty going on.
Let's celebrate tonight.
But the core is there.
It's locked in.
it's young this defense is the youngest in the NFL jalen hertz just became a super bowl MVP you got
all the ingredients to do it again yeah i mean look this is a team we saw it on on on twitter tonight right
so like every uh every time the defense would make a play you know i saw i was uh johnny venerbals from
our uh p hnx uh crew they're like up future arizona cardinal uh josh sweat brags in chicago
Brad said the same thing about Milton Williams.
Oh, future, future bear.
Little Williams is like, guys, like, let's give the, let these guys celebrate tonight.
And then we'll, you know, we'll talk about the offseason a little bit.
But this is a team that obviously, look, they, I mean, they hit on all cylinders
defensively in this football game.
And yeah, they do have a bunch of free agents.
But look, they made all the right moves.
They pushed all the right buttons a year ago last spring.
They don't need to hit them all out of the park like they did last year.
But, you know, if they got it.
can bat 500, you'll feel pretty good going in the next year.
I think Zach Bonn is, Milton Williams, like,
damn, he's good.
It's going to, hopefully you can hold on to him,
but I think Zach Bonn, you absolutely need to keep.
Josh Swett, I've already accepted, probably is gone.
He earned himself some big time coin out there.
Milton Williams, hopefully they can hold on to him.
We'll see what happens there.
All right, Turtle says, ah,
thank you, Turtle.
Appreciate the Super Chat.
Oh, we got Brags in the stands.
Our buddy from CHGO says,
Congrats, P-H-L-Y.
Love you guys.
Love you, Braggs.
Go, Braggs.
Now, there's a weird phenomenon that happened this week.
Uh-oh.
America was cheering for the Eagles.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
It's pretty awesome.
Did they expect this, though?
I don't think anybody expected this.
But all in the chat, I mean, there's honking in L.A.
In Iowa, I've seen Oregon all over America.
Everyone's celebrating Eagles win right now.
It's pretty awesome.
I mean, Jamie, this was perfect because, like, watching the end of that Bill's
Chiefs game, which was a classic game.
I was thinking, like, I think the Bills might be a better matchup, but beating the
Chiefs would be so much more satisfied.
I might have been wrong about the bills being a better matchup, honestly, too.
But this was so much better.
Didn't have to beat the Lions, the commanders, didn't have to break their hearts, didn't
have to beat the bills.
And everybody was rooting for the Eagles tonight and they gave them what they wanted.
I'd be one of the first to say, looking at the performance tonight, and the way them guys
prepared to be locked at it.
It didn't matter who they played tonight.
No, I didn't want to get it tonight.
He was going to be victorious.
Yep, 100%, Benny.
And next up, we got Claude Debo Seh.
Says, time to start dialogue about Chiefs fraudulent.
Well, that's a hot take.
Betterfield and they lose to the Eagles in 52.
Don't deny that.
George Toma, Rotten Hell.
And the Niners handed them the game both time.
Go birds.
I cannot agree with that for the most part.
I don't think they're frauds.
Patrick Mahomes is probably going to be the greatest quarterback of all.
all time by all standards.
But I like where your head's at.
I like being petty.
I will say for whoever's fault the last Super Bowl was,
it was nice to see that pass rush with cleats that work.
Because you could see what they could do.
And they got the Superdome, man.
Shout out to the Superdome.
I agree.
Whoever was handling that field, nice work tonight.
And honestly, like the entire city in New Orleans,
like outstanding host city for a Super Bowl.
I saw someone around the league posted like,
oh, every Super Bowl should just be in the New Orleans every year.
I think I agree.
I think after tonight I'm in for that.
Yeah, I'm in.
Todd Gephardt, another super chat, says,
the show has been a big part of this amazing Eagles season for me.
Thank you for the hard work and hours you put in and bring us such great content.
Todd, thank you.
We all love what we do.
We love that we get to share it with an amazing community here.
So the honor is all ours.
Thank you for being a part of it and along for the ride.
Next up is Mark from Canada.
says thanks for the amazing coverage this year,
P-H-L-Y.
What a ride.
Cleveland John says,
Belt to ass,
build Vic Fangio a statue.
Ooh,
yeah.
Did we see a Vic smile in the post-game at all?
I didn't see much of it because I thought the TV was going to work.
I would have to,
he did tell Bo he was going to smile.
Right.
And then it talks about on the broadcast.
Yeah,
I didn't see one yet.
I'll check social media and see.
It's got to have happened.
I just go back to thinking of he was the first person off the field after the NFC championship game.
And he got right to Patrick Mahomes.
So I hope he celebrates this one.
There are no more games left for Vic.
Yeah.
Now he's 1 in 8 versus Mahomes all time.
Take that stat and shove it.
It's a little easier when you don't have Drew Locke as you're in the quarterback game.
Yeah, it's a lot easier when you have Jalen Hertz.
$20 from John Triag.
You guys killed the coverage of this year.
Fantastic shows, everyone.
Love the Radio Roe shows.
Vinnie and Fran.
rookies of the year.
Connor O'Neill says
Sequin now has more
than half as many wins as the Eagles
as he does the Giants
just want to get that stat out there.
That's pretty ridiculous.
That's crazy.
He shouldn't be lost in tonight's story.
I know that he didn't have his greatest game
and the Chiefs were very good and they sold out,
but like he's the reason they're here.
Imagine how happened.
he is. Because, you know, Diana Rossini joined the show from Radio Row this week. And she was the one
that sat down with him originally as soon as the news happened. And she was like taking aback how
hard of a decision still it was for him to leave New York. And to come here and to have one of the
greatest seasons, I mean, ever. And to do what he did, that's got to feel damn good.
You know, I think I get like a little, I really relish watching teams celebrate winning championships.
Like I love watching whether it's the World Series, Super Bowl, National Championship in college, whatever it is.
And you think about like all the work that goes into it, all the stories around all of these players.
And even not just the not just the players themselves, but even like their families, I thought tonight of Seekoine Barclay's daughter saying like when he got said like, oh, we're going to the Eagles now.
And he said, oh, does that, does that mean we win now?
Does we get to win now?
Like, uh, just stuff like that, uh, it's the one of the best things about sports.
Yeah.
Just like see, especially like, once you get up to like the professional level, uh, just
seeing all the time and all the sacrifice really come to fruition, uh, to get to that
ultimate goal.
Let's say it's one of the my favorite parts about it.
The, the point this week where I became most confident was when I heard the
voicemail from Sequin's daughter.
Right.
Where it was like, daddy, we're going to love you, whether you win or lose, but you can go
out there and win.
And I saw Vinnie's pictures with a young Noah Curry celebrating.
And like that human connection to the guys,
it's such an easy and great team to root for.
Like,
there's nobody's really dislikable.
Everybody's awesome.
So really happy for Sequin that this paid off.
And us and all of us.
But that's pretty damn cool.
A Kai Bechton,
Zach Bonn,
you know,
Quinion and Coot.
Like all these guys that came in were new contributors.
And then you help us slay.
You help a BG get a,
second ring like it was just perfect.
We're gonna have people popping in and out.
We got it, we got a special guest right now I was wearing it.
Oh, who we got?
Do they have clothes on?
Tyler's all.
What kind of a question is that, Jamie? Come on now.
I knew if I knew it was you, you'd be clothed, of course.
Why does it not surprise me that that's that's coming from your mouth?
Tyler, where are you right now?
I am sitting in a car outside of, outside of the party.
It's myself. It's my dad here.
The guy that guesses in football.
This is the smartest sports stat guy.
If you want trivia, that's the guy to go to.
My sister's back there.
So we are, we're just about to leave.
But oh, my gosh, what a night, guys.
So where'd you watch the game at your dad's house?
Where did you guys go?
A party?
No, we are.
The group of guys that my dad's been going to the Eagles games with for, I don't know,
close to 30 years now.
You know, so that they're extended families.
You know, we're on generation two and three at this point.
So it was just an unbelievable experience.
All right, where their tears shed.
Actually, you know, the funny thing is not as much.
It was more elation today.
And I think it's probably a combination of A, it's the second Super Bowl.
And B, it felt like a foregone conclusion for two and a half quarters.
So this one was more party, pop champagne, celebrate elation, as opposed to, you know,
the emotional outburst at the end of, you know, Super Bowl 52.
It's a final play.
So this one was more fun.
At what point did you know game was over?
Like this, at this point, like there's no way can't see he's coming back.
Devante Smith touchdown.
That's it.
That was the probably the second best ball that I've seen AJ, or excuse me, I've seen
Jalen Hertz throw this year.
The only other one to me that was, was better was the fourth down throw to AJ Brown two weeks ago.
And I mean, just an unbelievably poised performance from Jalen Hertz tonight.
I mean, ran the ball effectively, through the ball effectively, five and
complete passes all night, almost 300
total yards, three TDs, just a
unbelievable performance from
the Eagles quarterback. And all that guy does
is win football games, guys.
So Tyler, some big
news tomorrow. You got to get to
work, man. Yeah, it's going to be
a quick turnaround and probably a long
night because not only do we have, you know,
all of our shows tomorrow, but P.H.O.I. Philly
show comes back tomorrow. There we go.
Thanks for letting me plug that. I appreciate that.
Yeah, of course, man. What time
is that going to be having and tell the people?
One o'clock. We'll be on one to one 30 tomorrow and one to two on Friday and a bunch of, you know, short form videos and things like that throughout the week.
We're going to deep dive. We'll nerd out. We're going to talk about spin rates and all that kind of nerdy stuff.
All right. Love it. Tyler Zooli, Ph.I. show. Appreciate it. Go, go have fun with the fam.
Go birds. Go birds. That's awesome. Hopefully the entire staff is going to be joining us tonight throughout the show. We'll get the Cuzz on.
I know Devon already said he hopped on.
Derek Bodner was up here and headed out to Broad Street as well as we see some more choppers flying overhead here.
It is loud outside.
It's just like constant honking.
It's just like right there.
Police cars flying by.
You hear everybody honking.
You hear everybody cheering.
You hear fireworks.
You hear the choppers.
There's a 50% chance I sleep on the sofa today.
As someone who lives in the city, I have no idea how I'm going to get home the night.
But I don't care.
It's great.
Let's talk about this for a minute.
What do you got?
We got.
In five seasons, the man, the man is a six and three in the postseason.
Yep.
Two time pro bowler, an all pro, two NFC championships, two Super Bowl parentses, one Super Bowl MVP,
and one Super Bowl win.
Damn.
And it's pretty good.
It hurts, you a bad boy, man.
I don't know.
You're a bad boy, man.
You're a bad boy, man.
God.
He has won at every single level.
Woo!
Well, and I would also say,
too, like he has played his best football when the lights have been the breakfast.
Absolutely.
You take last week's NFC championship game and the two Super Bowls he has played in.
I mean, that's outstanding stuff, some of his best games.
Just go back to some of his quotes.
Like, we all be joking like, man, this man got the quotes.
But think about every quote, either you either learn from a loss or move on.
The crazy quotes he was coming up, where he spoke this into existence tonight.
Yeah, he really did.
He's his own Jim Murphy.
I saw NFL Network earlier playing.
game is this from inner excellence or jalen hurts and it was really funny uh and that's the other thing
too i was just looking at the next gen stats so this was actually the third longest average time to
throw for jalen hertz all season long and it's a great look at why people say like oh he holds
on to the ball so long him holding on to the ball long is not a bad thing of itself it's what you do
with the ball when you do hold it long that determines whether or not it's a good or bad play here
tonight that was a positive whenever he held the ball long he made good to
decisions with the ball. He was able to find receivers late in the down. He only had five
increases on the whole night. He had a couple that were throwaways.
Chalind was awesome tonight. Several times tonight I said he's got all day. He's got all day.
The past protection tonight, Fran, what jumped out to you? They were dominant.
Yeah. They did not let those guys get home. One of the key plays was on the bliss, my boy,
say, no question.
That was the Dodson play. That was the Dodson play. It was awesome. That was awesome.
Crazy. Could you imagine if you did it, if you did a big wall?
If you had Jahan Dotson opening touchdown, Jamie, and you missed it by that.
The odds on that.
I don't know.
That would be like like a plus 4,000, $4,500.
Insane.
But no, so I think he's been like that.
That's the thing is that like as good as he is as a runner, like the things he does
from like a dirty work standpoint, like eating the dirty yards between the tackles.
It's not just like the big plays, the game breaking runs outside the number.
but getting those dirty yards between the tackles,
been the past protection stuff.
He's been so money all season long doing all of that.
What did you make of the Chiefs attacking of the run defense?
They really couldn't get it going much today.
What did they do like great there?
I mean, it's it looked like just a pure bodies thing.
Like we're going to keep throwing bodies at the problem.
We're going to load the box.
It looked like they were doing some slanting up front as well.
We'll go back to the film to really take a look at that.
But I think the big thing was just continuing to load the box and say,
we're going to make chalen hertz in this past game beat us we're going to trust our corners to
win outside one-on-one and clearly that did not work well enough for them tonight they were hoping
that watson will be able to hold up a little bit better but a jr brown against trend mcduffey like
a j's he's got at least four inches on the guy three or four inches on him and 30 40 pounds on
him i mean he's going to win that matchup more often than not you know what i really wanted to see
at the end of the game carson wins we got kentie pitt i got kent yeah right i wanted to see carson wends
coming the game. That would have been great.
Good for Kenny Pickett finishing the Super Bowl.
I am surprised.
The Eagle fans, listen, for y'all in the chat,
that didn't, listen, the Eagle fans
started doing a whole.
Oh, yeah.
Now, they would have started chanting Carson wins.
I mean, Carson already had to watch
another one of his backups when a, uh, win a Super Bowl.
Yeah, let's get back to a couple of the Super Chats
because they've been flowing in here.
let's see we got
Calam Halen
99 to just say
Caleb Halem. Thank you for that.
I appreciate that. Ross L.
says from Ross
L. Thank you for the donation, Ross.
Appreciate that.
Donkey Daddy, great name there.
Says
Not sorry for boring game
for the general viewer. The best team
in the NFL showed up from the
NFC. Sorry that Golden
Boy Mahomes and Taylor's boyfriend
were our opponents. This
D proved to be the best in the world.
Hard to argue with that. I will
say this. I believe it was
the worst AFC versus
NFC season
ever in the Super Bowl
era. I think there was a little bit of
aFC fraud watch this year. They have good
quarterbacks, but their teams are not as good as
the NFC teams are. Makes you wonder if
Mark Andrews catches that ball.
Yeah.
No.
That's the thing. Is it like people
people talked about that.
That was one thing.
I'm trying to remember who said this all.
If the Eagles were in the AFC,
they wouldn't be able to run that gauntlet.
Who said that?
The Eagles destroyed.
Every AFC team they faced this year.
They crushed Baltimore this year.
Just insane take.
The fact that they were underdogs in this game was crazy.
It was wild to me.
You were just betting on past stuff.
There was nothing this year that suggested that.
They have better players everywhere.
And it goes back to like this thing of
quarterbacks got to throw for 300 plus yards.
That's what that comes from.
Man, all my God do is win.
Oh, boy.
Let's go.
You're looking live at the Superdome.
It's the professor.
The professor!
Yeah.
Oh, that's great.
Is that the famous Felton with you?
I don't even know if we can hear the profession.
Oh, that's outstanding.
That is awesome.
There he is, there he is.
Oh, that's outstanding.
Danis, tell us about your night, man.
Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness.
What is there to say?
What is there to say?
My binoculars got confiscated by the Secret Service.
And this man right here, Defop Sunset Chaz,
selflessly let me use his.
Wow.
Defussef, you are the brutal and keep me!
Oh, my goodness.
Unbelievable.
You guys were right.
You guys were right that Jordan Love is exactly as good as Patrick Mahars.
You guys were right the whole time.
I apologize.
I apologize.
At what point did you realize it was game over?
And you thought I knew Eagles were going to win.
Feldman and I were talking about this.
It was weird because it was such a like slow.
There's Feldman right there.
Feldman, there we go.
Slow, dominant.
Jason hot right here.
Oh, deep.
Jason.
Slow, dominant.
Just dominant win.
I think the moment was the Cooper to Gene Pick six where it happened kind of right in front of us.
And it was just like an unbelievable.
like I thought my head was going to explode.
And then after that, it was just like calming down the rest of the time.
We were talking about how the Smitty,
the Smitty bomb in a normal game would have been like this historic Eagles touchdown.
And it was like an afterthought.
It was like,
what did that make it 34 and that thing?
Like we were trying to remember that.
Exactly.
This is awesome.
Well,
we are.
Enjoy,
celebrate with Sunset Shaz,
with Felton,
with Jason,
with all those guys.
It's such a great group.
That's awesome.
Give everybody huge hugs and we'll see when you're back in Philly.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
See you guys at the parade.
Let's go.
Let's go.
And Polar Jan, who already contributed with a great super chat, says even the professor's connection
is better than Bose.
True.
We'll see.
I think Bo knows that he's got to switch to the mic to the hard mic for postgame.
That's why Zach got to the mic for the kickoff.
That was a beautiful disaster.
him joining us on the pregame show.
I kind of thought more confident after.
I did too.
The Eagles are 1 and 0 now
when Bo broadcast underwater before the game.

I just saw a comment or a tweet said greatest Philadelphia sports team ever.
Question mark.
I mean, I'm not going to argue.
It's going to be up there.
It's got to be, right?
I mean, I think you have to win a championship to be in that conversation.
And of the teams that won a championship,
I think this is the best one.
Yeah.
14 and 3.
Vinnie, what do you think?
Didn't lose a game after October?
You got a ring on your hand there, Vinnie.
Well, I don't think you're wearing it tonight, but...
That was a great team too.
That was a great team.
How do you size the two up?
Man, they got there twice.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Like, ah.
We got another friend
joining the fray.
Rich, you do a lot of post games with this man.
A lot of sad post games with them.
games.
This is a happy one.
Let's go.
There's no doubt a happy one in this one.
What's up, y'all?
Yeah.
No.
Oh, man.
This was so satisfying, man.
You get this one, see them, see them get this one after what happened in the last
Super Bowl.
The fact that people, you all know, Vinnie, I can't, I respect national media.
You know, we're in the media.
So I respect national media.
Fran does a great job of.
jumping in all over the place in different cities and being able to evaluate things.
But the way that they bend over backwards to find ways to complain about how Jalen Hearst is not good,
can't win.
I'm not even the biggest supporter of him.
I just like the fact that they win games.
So what, and my argument is always, well, what else do you want him to do because it doesn't look the way that you want it to look?
He's not good.
And this is so satisfying to see him get this on this stage.
and get it done the way that he did it,
even when the interception happened.
It was like, so what?
That was basically a punt.
I would have liked those three points,
but that was basically a punt because you got them pinned
inside the five yard line,
and then they come right back down
and get a score anyway because they turn them over once again.
This was fantastic.
Hey, Devon, look, look,
if it wasn't no social media
and everything was like the old school ESPN,
he'd be the greatest quarterback of all time right now.
100%.
100%.
Back in the day, that's how they play.
And it's his fault that he played
complimentary, I mean, he played good team football.
You know what I mean?
All the man does is win.
And show up when the lights come on.
When the lights get brighter,
he has a hell of a game.
That's all that's more of this.
The reason why, of course,
we can talk about the defense,
but yeah, we know the difference
might have been the turnover that he had.
But guess what he came right back and scored
on that play?
He does what he does to Washington,
two weeks ago in the NFC championship game
when everybody was sprinkling all the praise on
Jayton Daniels was going to be a fantastic quarterback
but he showed up and he did his thing
and this was great to see him do this, the dual threat
they sold out to stop Sequin Barkman.
He was like, okay, cool.
All right, cool. That's fine.
The man did with no quarterback in the history
of the Eagles organization
that got the two Super Bowls.
Two. Those were just facts.
That's it.
That's it.
know the game was over tonight? All right. So the first the first one was really when
Dijin, like you guys said, got the interception and took it to the house. I was like, oh, okay.
And then when they came back and they started physically abusing Patrick Mahomes in that
offensive line again, I'm like, oh, they can't, and there's no blitz. They're doing this
with the four-man front and they cannot stop them. And once that happened, and then later on
when Devante caught that deep pass and that was.
it. You know, it was like, all right, this is, this is done. You can't even, I couldn't even
really get emotional and all that because this was well in hand a long time ago. And, but
it was great. It was a great feeling. So that's what I felt like I knew after DeGine got to
pick six and then later on following up with, with the touchdown of Devante Smith.
It was great, man. I got to say, I think Devante was like feet up. Hell yeah, let's party
on broad. But that Cooper DeGine picked six, that's kind of when I felt it. Like, I, I just felt
that it was kind of team of destiny.
Especially when it seemed like he was really confused.
He didn't know what he didn't know what he was seeing.
The coverages and how they mix it up the way that they did.
And they had Patrick Mahomes confused of where he was going with the football.
So that was amazing.
Vinny, I didn't want to ask you this, though, Vin.
When you are a defensive lineman and you guys are starting to feast like that,
again, with just a four-man front,
How were they just getting there the way that they were so easily from my couch, of course.
They come in bunches like that.
Once they come in bunches, whoever got the high hand first, that's what they slide through.
And now it's the next guy that really takes off.
Now, you go there, Jayman Carter was getting double team.
And then when it was made the most of what we saw all season, you know, that was just crazy.
And then they missed a few calls that was holding penalties.
That was pressure coming from, definitely coming from that left side.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Just amazing, man.
So, Devon, where'd you watch the game?
Who'd you watch it with?
What was the vibes?
So I'll just go back to last time they were there, they lost.
I was working.
I was out with a lot of people.
I didn't like that.
When they won, I was with my family, my immediate family, you know, my girls and all that.
And so we all sat here, just us, and they got the W.
So my youngest looked at me and said, I think we know what the formula is going for.
forward. Yep. We locked in for life. Yeah. Yep. I'm just like Rich. The superstition is there.
I don't do anything any different than what's working and it worked for a second time.
Yeah, Devon, I said to these guys earlier, there was a point in my life where I accepted
I was probably never going to see an Eagle Super Bowl. Yeah. Now we've got two.
Spoiled. Look at you. Spoiled. And these kids, these kids don't know how lucky they are.
I just told my son that.
He's like,
yo,
you see me arguing,
and he was like,
dad,
I don't understand why you arguing,
why he's talking like,
like the Eagles ain't this?
And I'm like,
so he said,
he said,
dad,
he's a cowboy guy.
I was like,
you just don't know.
You just don't know.
Just don't know.
But is I turn now?
That's right.
That's right.
Now, this is dope,
man.
You guys are great.
This has been fun.
It was fun watching
Fran and Vinny with Bo and Zach
and Jamie,
all of you out there.
in New Orleans with Jules.
And this has been a fun ride, man,
watching you guys do your thing.
Me and Rich talking and before, like,
yo, what's going on?
How are you feeling?
You know, but.
Devon, don't be surprised if you see me down going down
Broad Street and go live.
Hey, hey, do it.
Hey, you're a part of that family.
You need to be out there.
You need to be there.
Yeah, I'm being out surfing.
Don't worry, that party's going on for hours.
Yeah, that's not dying down at times.
Well, Devon, back to the family, man.
Thanks for hopping in and celebrating with us.
We love you.
Good to see you, you know.
We'll see you soon, buddy.
All right, Devon.
See, man.
I love having a step.
John is good.
He's at the game.
We got another guest.
All right.
Let's bring him in.
This is great.
I love this.
Oh, where are we at?
Yeah, we are.
Yo, he dead.
There is.
I'm on mute.
Unmute,
unmute.
Can't hear you.
I'll meet your phone.
Let's go,
Bucky Liga!
Yeah!
They're crazy out here tonight,
just left the stadium.
Everybody wants to send their love
to my boy, Vinnie.
We had them going crazy
over here.
That's what I'm talking about.
Let's go.
Come on.
We like it.
Woo!
outstanding.
All right.
Well,
John's job.
Listen, man,
thank you for coming on.
Thank you for showing us
with Bourbon down there,
Burbank Street,
look like.
Come on,
this is what the love is right here,
man,
man,
there we go.
Come on a little
podcast right here.
Bye, baby.
Come on.
You say some love?
Let's go,
Byrd.
We did it.
Woo!
There we go.
Live from Bourbon Street.
Love it.
Look at the cell service.
Love you, baby.
Oh, I'll bring you live on Bourbon Street in a little bit.
This is awesome.
Thanks, John.
Love you, boys.
Thank you, John.
Let's go.
Thanks, John.
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
That's fantastic.
I mean, being on Broad Street's the best.
If there's a city to enjoy any, because the Eagles,
Fran, you saw it on your flights coming and going from the airport.
When I left on Friday, the airport, the airport,
was 85% Eagles fans.
The Eagles fight song was playing.
Like, you hardly knew the Chiefs
were even represented in New Orleans.
And it's crazy, guys.
When we was down in New Orleans,
it was nothing but Chiefs fans.
Right.
And I'm like, saying, man,
I said, these Chief fans don't understand.
Come Thursday morning, the first flight out on,
are you going to hear with E, A, G, L, E, A, E, A, A, A, A, S.
Like, it was, it was, it just was insane
and to watch the Eagle fans take it.
over the Superdome,
then turn Bourbon Street to Broad Street.
Yo.
It's the best, man.
This is great.
There was a ton of horse poop on Bourbon Street.
So if any of the Broad Street maniacs
are looking for it, the horses are everywhere.
You're really looking for somebody to eat that.
You're really good for the snout.
It's good for the throat.
Fran, Todd wants to know.
This is great and all, but who ended up winning swooper?
I think, Bo.
I'm willing to move past it.
Okay, let's move on.
Let's get back to some more of the super chats.
There's tons of them.
This is hard to keep up.
All right, let's start from the bottom there, Jules.
Chris G.
Oh, wait, never mind.
We can start wherever you want.
Benjamin D. Up top.
All right.
I'm over here on the central coast of California,
and I'm here in fireworks.
Let's go.
Love that.
Thank you, Benjamin D.
Kyle O says,
Which don't wake the baby from the basement.
I'm saying didn't wake up the baby.
Oh, didn't wake the baby up from the basement.
So in the newsletter last week,
I asked people for funny stories about,
you know,
how they watch past Super Bowls.
And Kyle and his wife,
his wife was a Patriots fan.
This was before they got married.
They made a joke with each other
that they would break up after the Super Bowl.
And she did not text him for a full week.
But now,
and then she picks up right away after it's over.
That's great.
And they just resume their relationship.
They get married.
They now have a kid.
Everything worked out.
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
Love that.
Mikey Faze says, what's that?
Oh, Davis, Kobe.
Goverts.
That is all.
Thank you, Davis.
Mikey Fazed says, Feltman, Feltman, Feltman.
That is a great name.
It makes me think a sign Felt.
And it's just an outstanding.
We got a Feltman appearance on the show.
I mean, that's as exclusive as it gets.
Yeah.
Chris, oh, our own Vince Pellegrini, $99.
Tell them to join.
I'm about trying to send him the link.
That's our old co-worker.
Fletcher Cox is calling Vinnie Curry right now.
So, give him the league.
Yeah, we're sending him the league.
Fletch hates the media, though, which is very funny.
Hey, but he, you know what?
He was a, he's P. H.O.I.L.
Oh, he's a P. H.O.I.O.O.F.O.O.
We can get Fletcherney.
$99, $99.
Vince, Vince, Vince, Vince.
I just want to thank all the die-hards.
I also want to thank Jamie, Vinny, Rich, Fran, Julie, Chris, Les, Bo, and Zach for putting in so much work.
Spelled the name wrong, but...
The effort was there.
Thank you, Vince.
We appreciate you.
Julie, that's pretty rough, actually.
Chris G.
Oh, yeah, you're not a Julie.
You're a Julia.
Yeah, well, you know, he's excited.
The Eagles won.
Chris G says, from North Dakota.
G, G, G, G, L, Eagles.
Go Eagles.
Amazing night.
So proud of the boys.
Going to be celebrating all night.
Go birds.
Work is going to suck for a lot of people tomorrow.
Or it's going to be great for a lot of people tomorrow.
I feel like, look, when you have a night like this,
it makes tomorrow easier.
So the last time this happened, I didn't sleep for about two and a half days.
I stayed up through the night.
I went to the radio station at like three in the morning, went on early,
stayed awake and then the next day people were like well we got to go drinking the eagles won the
super bowl and i was like all right yeah cool so you get that adrenaline i slept for about 17 minutes
the night of the uh the the eagles win in 2018 love it i wrote a story about the philly special
it's great night oh yeah i wonder what story what they're going to write about this time
i mean it's the d line yeah well i will ask zach a little bit i i got i think for zach it'll be
what's the first line is it going to be jalen hertz winning MVP or is it the defensive line
dominance my guess is that sometimes likes to break it up might be MVP because two of those guys
with the line man like we're going to be sad we were writing about them and we can't retain them
and they're not going to be here yeah yeah it'll be interesting and zach and beau are going to be
joining us from the super dome but they're out in the locker room probably getting drenched in a little
champagne maybe some light beers are flowing not for them but you know people
We'll be spraying and it's going to be a party in there.
Vinnie, I feel like we've asked you so many questions about what it's like to be an NFL player this year.
But what is that locker room like after you win a championship?
It's pedinomious.
Oh, man, it's pedimonium.
Like, especially like, you know, everything you go through, you know, from the ups and downs, the highs and lows throughout the season and to finally come out on top, victorious, holding that Lombardi trophy.
It's not like it.
And it's surrounded by, you know, your family and friends.
And people don't understand how much time really going to this game.
You spend more time with your teammates, coaches, and coaching staff,
than you kind of do at home for a couple months.
Yeah.
And that's really, really rare.
So when you see some of the arguing or the shouting at each other stuff,
like, you can't take it with a grand assault.
Like, you can't take that too extreme because.
just like, you get aga me, man, get nagging me, you know?
But it's just when you're around somebody for so long and so much,
you might need to break.
You might need to talk about something.
You might need to break.
And, like, that's how what I feel about this season.
I feel like all the way up to that biweek, you saw perseverance
and you saw, okay, let's just talk it out like the brothers we are
and they're going on a crazy run the way they did and come out on top.
Man, it's crazy, man.
So what actually have, are people looking to get out of that locker room relatively quick?
Are they enjoying the party?
How?
Can you go back to the hotel, friends and family meet up?
Post-game party right now?
Listen, right now, so you got about 25 more minutes, 25 more minutes.
They're going to say, hey, all-family jump on your bus or wherever.
Have you get into the Eagles post-game party?
That's where you're going.
At the hotel.
The players will meet you there.
No, they said they have it a separate venue.
Every, each, both teams have a post-game party.
And obviously, the mood is dictated by how the game goes.
But, I mean, what's the best story you could tell from the party in the 17?
I got the video on the phone.
I have a lot of videos.
My phone.
Do you remember we broke the damn stage?
Yeah.
Because you guys were all jumping up and down.
Yeah, jumping up and down.
And that's not going to twist it.
I'm pretty sure the way the players was locked in, they had a little drinking drink.
We're ready for afterwards.
Oh, I bet.
So think about you having to drink and it's passed around.
By the time you get off that bus to that party, you're already feeling nice.
You're already in the Matrix.
You usually have some kind of musical performance.
We had Cardi B in 2017, which, there you go.
So it's a small venue.
I would imagine Gilly the kid will be up on the stage at the post-game party.
Yeah, but they would have book, they'll book a separate artist.
Like, Gilly, the kid is just like, all right, like, he's got passes.
He'll be there.
But, like, they would have booked somebody else.
I wonder who the, I'll see if I can get info.
Yeah, yeah, see if I can get some intel.
Yeah, yeah, see if you can find that out.
That'd be cool.
Now, like this celebs like Bradley Cooper and Ann Hathaway and all these Eagles type of fans,
do they all get invited to this type of party too?
Is it?
Yeah, I would think so.
For anyone that wants to go, I would think that they would have gotten a couple passes to get in there.
That's pretty great.
Yeah, the party in 17 was not.
I didn't go to the one in 22, but in 17, it was pretty awesome.
Yeah, it's pretty great.
New Orleans is a great city to do it in, too.
And then what happens is the first flight out?
in the morning type of thing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then you, like, for me, went to the party or whatever, but I was just like, I was still
in awe.
Some people didn't sleep.
Oh, there's, oh, oh, oh, there's a big fireman that's out the window.
But so, yeah, some people didn't sleep, man, some people parted all night.
Um, but like I said, that was, this, this was like, the fireworks are out.
This was special, man, it was special, man, so I'm just so happy for the footage.
And then walk us through the rest of the week.
And then walk us through the rest of the week.
So you get back home Monday.
Do you have to go in?
Is it clean out?
Like, and then you're just getting ready for the parade?
Like, how does that week after a victory, like, play out for you?
Monday, you get off that play.
Well, we got off the plane, it was.
What did you think, Fran?
Like, maybe got it had to be like 10,000 people out there
when we got off the plane.
Well, we got off the plane.
Oh, yeah, easy.
So it was like, it was craziest at the airport.
All the way down to the home line.
Yeah, all the way back to those.
So that'll be that'll be tomorrow
They'll have time off for one I understand
Parade's gonna be Thursday
And if the weather is bad
I think it's gotten better
Yeah predictions
But Friday would be the weather day
It'll get done because they're not gonna
They're not pushing it to next week
Because players and coaches are trying to get out of town
Yeah they're one of vacation
It's been a long year so those guys are getting out
So my guess is is that it'll happen Thursday
Unless the weather is like really really bad
And otherwise it would get bumped to Friday
I think it's supposed to rain on Thursday
not ice and snow.
We'll talk about,
we got plenty of time this week
to talk to the parade with the parade is.
The parade is.
And we got something up our sleeves
for the parade day here at PHLY.
So stay tuned for that announcement.
All right.
Let's get back to some more super chats here.
There's so many of them.
I don't want to miss any of them.

That was pretty good.
That was a little bit.
That was strong.
Yeah.
All right.
Kyle O says,
Eagles are 2 and O in Super Bowl
with Wentz on the bench.
Again,
just facts.
Nobody can argue that.
That's something you would have came up with that.
That's something.
We found Jamie's burn.
That was pretty good.
I should enjoy the ones slander as much as I did.
Yeah, man, a 10-year anniversary.
I don't think much coming, man.
God, dang.
Timothy Malcolm says, y'all kick ass.

why Eagles show presented by our friends at Bet365. I haven't signed into my account yet,
but I'm very looking forward to seeing that plus 1,400 Eagles Super Bowl champions ticket cash.
One, because those odds are sweet, but two, it'll just say Eagles, Super Bowl champs,
and that's going to be very nice. And our friends over at Ace Hardware Home Services,
get started on your next project at Ace Hardware Home Services.com. All right, we got some footage.
live from one Robert Wolfe.
Oh.
Some of you may know him as Bo.
But let's check in.
He's got some footage from the locker room.
Let's take a look at what Bose got for us.
I see a shirtless, large man.
I'm ready.
Jalen Gardner.
Jalen Carter.
There we go.
I would imagine below the whistle is playing a lot in that locker room.
I would think so.
So I saw some of this already.
Howie is dancing in the middle of that circle.
Oh, wow.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, that's, that's going to happen tonight at this party, too.
Those guys are Howie, Don's, Melissa.
Jeffrey.
Oh, they're all going to be on that stage.
All right.
Let's rank the dance skills of Jeffrey, Don.
I'll let Vinny.
I'll let Vinny to the rank in here.
I'm going with Jeffrey being number one because I'm, I'm,
he actually was dancing with me.
Yeah.
Oh, there go.
How's Howie?
Can he got any, he was good.
He didn't want to.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That was nice.
You know, that was nice.
It looks like a video of Jeffrey and Howie taking a moment of enjoyment,
walking the bowels of the stadium there.
The horns are just wild outside right now.
Is that car in the building?
It could be on the third floor.
Taking the elevator up.
Yes.
We're very much looking forward to Zach and Bo,
joining us after the locker room celebrations are happening.
but there's some great footage from Bose.
Man, that looks like a party in there.
Yeah, it looks like a club.
That is awesome.
Fran, what do you think?
Howie Roseman, Hall of Fame or now?
I think he's probably in there, yeah.
I would say so.
And well-deserved.
Well-deserved.
The best general manager in sports right now.
I think when you look at what he's done,
like a resume, he's put together.
Three Super Bowls, two wins.
With two different coaches and quarterbacks?
And a backup quarterback?
That's unheard of.
Like, speaks for itself.
And on top of that, they all his draft picks.
Yeah.
All right.
Can I old takes exposed myself?
Sure, can.
Sure.
What do you got?
I would have fired Nick Siriani last offseason.
You was on that.
Or did all the way up to like week five-ish?
Did you cut them?
Yeah, I was going to.
When he came back with the ball hair, you're like.
I was going to say, like, I was like, Baldyani.
That feels like three years ago.
That feels like forever ago.
I did the post-game show with Beau.
last year and I was like
he got to go. Yeah. Got to go.
He's done.
And I say that to fall on the sword
to say, what an amazing coaching job.
That's big of you. That is big of you.
I mean like incredible.
Yeah. Frankly, incredible.
It took Jeffrey and Howie over a week
to finally bring him back. I mean, maybe they made that choice
beforehand, but do you remember? Oh, I think it was a serious decision.
Jeffrey was was vacationing somewhere in the Caribbean.
And Howie, there was like snow, so he's like no press conference or whatever.
Yeah, I mean, to bring back Nick, we had no idea if this two coordinator thing would work.
And it worked spectacularly.
It worked unbelievably.
And Jamie, you're right, too, like, you know, week five, obviously that-
I was calling him a bozo, a stooge.
Well, do you remember the video?
What an idiot.
Remember the video where he's walking around when many men is playing on the practice field or whatever?
That's legendary, man.
And they were dominant the rest of the way.
They really were.
With the shaved head was.
I mean,
a game where,
when's the last time they lost when starters actually played?
They were undefeated this year when Jalen Hertz and AJ Brown both played.
That's unbelievable.
Yeah.
So Nick Siriani,
I'm sorry.
I'm an idiot.
You are the man and a Super Bowl champ.
Yeah.
Kevin Petulow,
offensive coordinator next year.
I feel like Nick's got that juice.
We were talking about it late in
weekend in New Orleans as if it was a definite and then we were getting to Zach was getting texts
from people offset saying oh maybe not so fast it might not be that way so but it does seem like
it's a shoe and to be internal friend you know the staff fairly well if it's not Kevin does he leave
if somebody else gets it no I don't I mean I don't speak for him but my guess is I don't I don't think so
I would say if it's not Kevin that it would be an external hire like you would you basically if
If it's going to be an internal hire, it's probably going to be Kevin Petullo.
Okay.
That would be my guess.
But, yeah, we'll see.
I mean, that's something we're going to have to.
Obviously, it'll be a big discussion point here in the coming days is it sounds like
Kellynne Moore is, you know, it's going to be a new world saint.
Oh, he is.
Shefter, she tweeted it early this morning.
Right.
It's done deal.
So, Kellyn Moore, congrats on your payday.
Shame you're going to such a crappy organization with the way they're run.
But Vic Fangio.
One good thing here is, look, when you're a team that wins, you're going to lose coaches.
That's the way it is.
It's a good problem to have.
But the lovely thing here is Vic Fangio appears kind of like settled.
Like I don't think we have to fear losing Vic anytime soon.
Yeah.
I mean, there's the chance that they could lose some assistance to, you know, potential
defensive coordinator opening.
You know, I know there's a couple of those jobs still available.
We'll see if Kellan Moore tries to bring anybody with him as well.
My guess is he will probably bring the quarterback coach, Doug Nussmeyer,
with him probably to be his offensive coordinator.
You know, we'll see about that.
But yeah, I mean, they'll lose some assistance here along the way.
They'll lose some free agents.
But that's why winning this game was so important.
You had to be able to come away with this W to be able to say, you know,
we climbed that mountain top and we got the job done.
And they were able to do it.
Business.
Yeah.
That was the word from Nick Siriani.
And one of Vic Fangio's messages to the team and when they got to New Orleans this week.
And Vinnie, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
He said, guys, you're unbelievable on turf.
You allow 11 points per game on turf.
You're fast at every single level.
It was something he kind of tattooed in their mind to try and build that confidence.
And it played out.
I mean, that last touchdown doesn't even count.
That's against second stringers.
Vic was right.
This defense is incredible and they're really good on turf.
All right.
So I got a couple questions.
So we go back to what you guys were saying.
is this the best
Eagle team, right?
You guys are saying?
For Philly,
Philly team, period.
Okay.
Yeah.
So Jimmy Johnson or Vic?
Ooh,
that's good to that.
This is one of those things
because it's only been one season.
Jim Johnson had such a great career
for,
I had a bunch of great defenses for a long time.
But this is a better season than Jim Johnson.
But this ain't in mind you of that, though?
No, no question.
This was crude.
Like, this, this is the, boy, this was crazy.
Yeah, I think, and that's what they're hoping for when you bring him in is that he would be that Jim, like he's going to be here until they don't want to coach anymore.
And everybody knows I love Jim.
This was, this was amazing.
Yeah.
This was amazing.
It's a great performance.
I mean, the number one defense, the youngest defense in the league, which when I think when you pair the two together makes what he did really impressive.
Yeah.
They'll lose some guys, but there's going to be a lot of fun to be had in these future years with Vic Fangio and the young quarter.
of players on this team.
Absolutely.
And you hope you can keep them all,
but like the young bulldogs with Cooper and Quinyan,
you have a foundation here that that defense is going to be fairly
locked in for a little bit.
And they had Patrick Mahomes in absolute hell tonight.
Can I throw some next gen stuff?
Absolutely.
Hit me.
Hit us.
All right.
Here we go.
This is all next gen stats.
So the Eagles did not blitz once against 42 drop,
or on 42 dropbacks in Super 1st.
Super Bowl 59, becoming just the fourth defense to not blitz in a game in the next gen era.
Wow.
Relying on their front four, the Eagles generated 16 pressures in sack Patrick at home six times
his most in a game in his career.
The Eagles played zone coverage on all but two dropbacks in this game,
specifically using cover four on 59.5% of dropbacks.
That's the third highest rate by any defense in a game since 2018.
So they just played a shit ton of cover four.
and didn't blitz, didn't just rely on the four-man rush.
Vic Fangio's defense held Mahomes to his worst performance by EPA in a game his entire career.
Josh Sweat generated team high six pressures on 34 pass rush snaps in the Super Bowl,
including a career high, two and a half sacks.
He was disruptive on early downs, recording four pressures and every single one of his two and a half sacks
on first and second down with a 16.7 pressure rate.
Sweats, six pressures, all came against five.
five different chiefs blockers.
Oh,
my God.
Oh, that's a cool.
That's a cool stat.
Six pressures in a game, Vinnie.
On the biggest stage.
And he forced that interception by Bond, too.
Yeah.
Bull rush getting right into Mahomes lap.
Despite not facing a single blitz,
Patrick Mahomes was pressured on 38.1% of his dropbacks
in the chief's loss in Super Bowl 59.
His fifth highest pressure rate faced in a single game in his career.
When under pressure, Mahomes completed just,
There's three of nine passes for 43 yards while taking six sacks.
As a result, Mahomes generated a career low minus 19.3 dropback EPA,
his first postseason game with a negative EPA since the AFC title game
loss against the Bengals in 2021.
Wow.
Dominant.
Dominant performance from the defense.
Shout out to Julia doing a little picture and picture of our staff sending in some footage
from Broad Street and the party out there.
So you can enjoy that while you listen.
to Fran give you all that next-gen
stat porn.
Oh, that, don't JPP yourself.
They stay out there.
Let's keep our thumbs.
So,
so, friend, you mentioned all the cover four
that they played.
And I think that probably got lost
in it a little bit.
Just following along on Twitter,
there were some people who were at the game
who were saying like,
yeah, I mean, the Eagles front four,
they're getting home and they're doing an awesome job.
But the back seven, their coverage was sticky,
the entire game.
And that's what defense is, right?
Part of it is being able to cover.
Part of it's being able to get to the quarterback,
but it shouldn't get lost that the back seven,
they played that cover four and they played it perfectly all night.
Yeah, I think, you know,
that was one of the fun parts about seeing some of the clips
that were being shared on social media,
Rich,
was that, you know,
you had a lot of people that were like fans at the game,
tweeting out video.
And you're saying, I'm like,
all right, like, now I can see the coverage
because they weren't shown a lot of the coverage on the,
on the broadcast.
So you could see like, oh, they're just playing cover four.
Oh, they're just playing cover six.
third down. This is what they've done all season long.
And they're just, they're relying on
a corner, you know, like it would be Quinyon Mitchell
one-on-one with Travis Kelsey on the back side.
And now you've got four DBs
over three receivers in the other side. And it's just
taking away everything. When you have
when you have that, and that's the thing about when you have the
ability to just get home with your front four.
And Vinnie, I know that this was a big thing with Jim,
right? With Jim Schwartz was like,
if you can get home with four
and you leave seven in coverage,
like that gives you such a huge
advantage going into any
single snap on a dropback.
Man, and that goes to show you what type of
DBs you got on your team.
Yeah.
Today, like I said,
like,
wow,
they were clicking on awesome lives.
Like,
Mahomes was bad the night,
but he was bad because of the Eagles.
Because the other 10 guys were winning their matchup
every single time.
Oh.
That's a rocket!
Let's go.
Jake makes.
What?
Jake makes.
Jake makes.
Jake.
Jake.
Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake.
Wow.
All right, Jake makes says, how about our quarterback?
He's a stud.
Thanks for a great season.
Best Bird Show in town.
Give Zach a nuggie for me.
Jake for that?
I will never get Zach a nouged.
I mean, for $400, Zach might accept it.
Zach will probably give himself a nougar back.
We'll see if we can get that done for you.
And Zach joins us from the Superdome.
But Jake, that is so.
Thank you, Jake. That's awesome, man.
Thank you.
We need a Jake.
Jake.
Jake, like me now.
Wow.
Jake, $400.
That is awesome.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Yeah, absolutely worth it.
And since you have $400 to drop on a Super Chat,
if you want to drop some on our merch,
world bleeping champs, there's some great merch going on on the PHLY locker room.
The description is in, or excuse me, the link is in the description of the YouTube show.
I really want to.
that birds one on the far left that's the one i got my eyes on you can also head to all p hl y dot com
and hit that locker room up the gold standard now look geoffrey got roasted for it i think there
was some regret at the time for saying what was that five years into the him on his senior yeah yeah
yeah right so about 20 years ago he said it they didn't really have what they had the vision clearly
because the eagles are the gold standard of the nfc
I don't think there's any arguments about that.
The most Super Bowl appearances during his tenure,
they said it at the time.
They got ridiculed for it
and roasted on sports radio and in print and all that.
Who's got the last laugh now?
This will go back to what I tell you,
another t-shirt.
How you like me now?
How are you like me now?
But the gold standard collection,
that's got a nice ring to it now.
Yeah.
And look, the proof is in the pudding, man.
I mean, we look at the success
that this team has had.
They ran a couple of graphics during the, during the broadcast on it, all the NFC title games.
Obviously, you have two Super Bowl trophies and other appearance on top of that.
What this team has done consistently under his ownership.
I mean, it speaks for itself.
I think that's my big takeaway here is that and our big takeaway is sponsored.
Oh, I'm sorry, I jumped the gun on Julia.
That's my bad.
And by the way, Jake, big takeaway.
Brought to you by Khan Murphy's Irish Pub in Center City.
It's an institution.
And you might be hearing from more.
I didn't know if we could say it.
Okay.
So we are going to have a headquarters at the parade.
Didn't want to admit to this, but we started working ahead.
I felt really confident about this last week.
I went to Nicole and Rick in sales, and I said, we need a spot on the parade route.
that we can get to.
Now it is private until 3 o'clock,
but at 3 o'clock,
all the sickos can come in and join the party,
but we're going to be broadcasting from Conn Murphys
on the parkway.
Great location for the parade.
So I hope everybody can come and join us,
say hello, give some hugs and high fives.
Con Murphy's is a great Irish pub.
And my big takeaway is that the Eagles are the gold standard.
Jeffrey Lurie is one of the best
owners in sports.
And I am really happy, not only for Eagles fans, but for this ownership group, that they
are the best in the NFC.
That's my big takeaway.
Yeah.
For me, I mean, my big takeaway, this Eagles defense is going to be a problem for everybody
moving forward.
And look, defensive success, it's been proven in the NFL that is typically not sticky
year over year, over year.
there are there are so many parts of it that are volatile the eagles that they did a great job of staying
healthy this season i mean they were healthy for all the way up into the playoffs nikobie dean got
injured but i think when you look at the way that this unit is coached when you look at how young
this group is development is not always linear guys don't always go you know better better better better
but i think at the end of the day when you look at all the young talent you know they're going
to continue to add to no one swiss is going to get better yeah i know it's going to get better jel lank
do you expect to take a jump more.
Ojima,
you expect to take a jump, right?
So even if you lose Milton Williams,
even if you lose Josh Sweat,
if you lose some of these players,
they're going to continue to add talent.
And again,
with that coaching,
this defense is going to be a problem
for a long time.
Hunt also had a great game, man.
Dude, that rush.
That sack was his best rush.
He teed that up so perfectly, Vinny,
with setting up that speed to power rush.
He did.
Think about him.
Late third round pick.
We were,
the sickos, we were delirious
with Zach and Boe on that night.
Day two of the draft.
You know,
are they going to take,
Franklin a receiver they're going to take a linebacker they go with jaylux hunt the uh the converted
safety and i mean that kid is just you see you see why they were intrigued by the like the athleticism
jumps off the page oh for sure there was a there was a there was a step i'm trying to remember exactly
what it was um but it was something along the lines of there were like five players that were as long
like in terms of like his wingspan and as explosive within like the the jumps uh like the the the broad jump
and the vertical jump at the combine,
and it was like Miles Garrett,
and like three other guys
that were all pro bowlers,
and it was Jalick's hunt.
Like, that was it in terms of like day one
and day two picks.
I mean,
just a freaky,
freaky physical specimen.
And if he can continue to put it together,
I mean,
this was supposed to be like a pure red shirt year for him.
I was just going to say,
I didn't expect any contribution from him at all this year.
The guy was a safety in the Ivy League,
like three years ago.
That's unbelievable.
We got a special guest.
Oh,
who you got for the surprise.
You know, boys.
They did it, boys.
They did it.
Not only did they do it, they kicked their ass.
I mean, this was a dream.
Guys, I can't tell you as the senior member here of all the years that we have, you know, the Andy years, right?
Like Vinny knows it firsthand.
You guys know it.
And to have this game, pure dominance, oh my God, you want to talk about depicting the city of Philadelphia?
This is our dream, right?
A team that wins with defense, a running game, a quarterback who is unsung, right, who played just beautifully tonight.
It was amazing.
It was just such a beautiful night.
Forgive me, guys.
It's been a celebratory moment.
because when did you know that this game was over?
Like what play happened where you were like,
they got this?
You know, honestly,
and I'm sure you guys felt the same way,
the first couple drives of the game,
when they were able to stop Mahomes like that,
like one of the things why I think we liked them,
and I was talking to the bro before the game,
talking to you guys before the game,
is the fact that they dominate,
they're dominant on the fronts, right?
They're so dominant from that defensive,
line. And when you saw Jalen Carter, he's the greatest. I mean, my God. You know, Franey,
how many times have we talked about Jalen this year? I mean, week after week, he shows you
dominant. No question. And that line, they couldn't do anything. They couldn't get into their
offense. And like, you know, I'm sure you get to read all this stuff early. Like when you see that sort of
dominance. There's nothing like that
nobody can scheme.
Like a coach has no answers
for when you're looking
up at that kind of pressure.
So, Ant, the question
got posed, I think Vinnie actually posed
it. Jim Johnson
or Vic Fangio?
Wow.
Wow.
It's a tough one.
It is, but
I think Vic
is tremendous.
I mean, he's amazing.
And, you know, because I'll probably always take Jim, I love Jim,
and I knew him really, really well, was real close to him.
He didn't have that.
He didn't have Carter, right?
Like, he didn't have that beast that where everything went to.
And as great as Trott and Trott's my main man, you know, we did a show forever.
I love him.
What Zach Bones doing is different.
Like, Trot would blow up.
the A gap and it was a different style of defense.
What Zach Bond has done all year long and tonight and then Cooper, I mean,
Eagles are so good up the middle.
It's uncanny.
I mean, those two plays.
Think about the first half and, you know, and listen, I thought Jaylin played really well,
you know, the whole game and he had a great first half.
But they went because of their defense, right?
Like field position, turnovers, the pick, six.
by Cooper de Gene, right?
Like all that stuff, they were driven
by their defense.
And the personnel,
I mean, guys, how are we bad?
How we killed it?
I mean, he absolutely slayed it.
I mean, that personnel and defense
was just overwhelmed.
Mahomes didn't know.
I saw Andy, and I know Andy Welvin,
you know him, like, he was frustrated.
I could see early.
He knew it.
He was completely frustrated.
When the dust settles, I can't wait to talk to him because he, I can tell him, he had no answers.
There were no answers to that pressure that was constantly in the home's face.
I mean, it was, it was beautiful.
It was Philadelphia dominance.
Hey, Cuss, so do you think, like, from, like, here's my, when you just sitting back and I'm watching the game,
some of the risky stuff that Mahomes do running backwards, running side of the side,
that got his ass in trouble because he ain't know how far.
as, you know, this Eagle defense,
as he messed around and found out tonight.
But do you think that was a big key as well?
Like the things that that's 50-50 risky
that usually get them out of trouble
and that bailed them out late in games,
did you think that hurt him tonight?
Yeah, I mean, you know, listen,
he's a magician, right?
And I think he's had to be a magician all year long.
Their offensive line is not good, right?
Like, you know, they get tuning out to tackle.
And Tudy's a really good guard.
He's not a great tag off, right?
You were weakened throughout.
That line is not good.
And all that magician stuff that he does,
I thought he had to do it out of necessity.
But the Eagles stole his rabbit tonight.
I mean, that's the bottom line.
They snatch that thing.
He had no magic left.
He couldn't do anything.
And then you're right.
Look at how.
The thing that stood out to me, too, was look at Josh Wet.
Josh Wet, who was a guy that would always, you know, over-pursue, he would, you know, be out of position.
He stayed home.
He played a great game.
I mean, every one of those guys, J. Alex Hunt, right?
Jordan Davis, obviously Carter, Nolan Smith.
But sweat or Jomo.
sweat, I mean, stayed home.
I thought that was the key.
I just thought the Eagles front just, you know, set the tone.
And they, he had no answers, man.
Like, that was it, man.
All that stuff that he does, he couldn't be.
He couldn't play it any way else.
Any way else he couldn't play it because they had no answers for the Eagles.
So the Eagles apparently just tweeted it out.
The parade is going to be on Friday.
Friday, baby.
Hooray!
Oh, my God, this is beautiful.
We get to do it again.
What an amazing week.
This is great.
And before we were together.
Weather's going to be bad.
Friday will be a party.
I saw it's 38 degrees.
Perfect.
It'll be dry.
We're going to have a lot of fun.
How about this, Anne?
We get to celebrate our second Super Bowl parade in Philadelphia.
That's what I can't imagine, right?
like this team
three Super Bowls
in eight years, two parades
parades
dude we talked about the Roaring 20s
I'm stunned
I can't this is the greatest
thing ever we have gone
lifetimes without parades
and championships I mean are you kidding
I know do Moss and Little Land
know how good they got it
listen
this town deserves it
I mean it just does
Everyone associated with this team.
It's a beautiful team.
It really is.
Man, I'm so happy.
I got to tell you, I got to share with my kids and my family.
And, you know, I did it with you, bro.
You know, partying on Broad Street, the whole thing.
I just love the happiness.
I love the joy that this town, that this team brings this town.
It's so cool.
I've been cherished.
You guys, by the way, you guys, by the way,
way you guys are killing it. You guys are terrific.
Thanks, buddy. Thank you. Thank you, man. Thanks.
Thanks, gosh. Before we let you go, Fran posed the question earlier, is this the greatest
Philadelphia sports team ever? Yes. You're without a doubt. I mean, it used to be the 83-6ers,
right? You know, the 08 Phillies or the 80 Phillies, this is the greatest. I mean,
this is the greatest team ever. It is, it just is. Fantastic. How about it, man?
Did you see the gear?
World belief in chips.
Chips, baby.
It's the greatest.
Oh, my God.
Man, I love you guys.
All right.
I love you guys tomorrow.
Yeah, you're the best.
We'll see you in the morning.
See you in the morning.
See you, man.
9 a.m.
Anthony Gargano.
Showgoers.
I have no idea how anybody has
fireworks left outside.
They're still going on.
It is so loud.
So my mom just texted our family chat, and I guess from a news report, apparently cops are telling people to go home.
Good luck.
Good luck.
I have no idea.
I mean, I was laughing at a cop's face if he said that.
Yeah.
Come on.
That's pretty funny.
All right.
Let's get back to the super chats.
There's so many of them.
And polar jam.
Oh, this is Bo.
Beau has been tweeting out video from the locker room.
And I got to tell you, like, Vinny, the, the, the, cell, have you seen these videos?
This is lit.
Yeah.
These, they're going nuts in this locker room right now.
They're still in the locker room.
Jeffrey Lurie, as Vinny said, dancing with the Lombardi trophy.
You know, he's got some moves.
Nice.
Tell me, they lit right now.
I'm telling me, just this, man.
I got to go with Jamie, man.
Like, yo, listen.
Do you know?
There's something.
They're cooking.
There's video of
Sequan Barkley
pouring shots into Bob Lang's mouth.
I saw that. There's all kinds of stuff going on
in this locker room right now.
And Zach and Bo, we're going to join us in a little bit,
but they're doing the Big J. journalism
in the locker room, capturing the footage.
All right, we got to get to these super chats
because you all are nuts and we love you.
And it's a party tonight.
And it's been so cool to see so many of our staff
joining us and hopping in.
All right, let's start from the top here, Jules.
We got Peter O'Keefe.
Is that a Euro coming in?
It says, go birds, all the way from Cork in Ireland.
Nice.
I was lucky enough to be at the link for the Browns game this year.
It's been such a great season.
It really has been, Peter, and thank you from Cork.
Peter, you changed the juju, man.
Yeah.
Brown's game got it started.
It's good, yeah.
All right, we got David Arroyo here who says,
the haters are furious.
Go Fran, by the way.
Go Fran, by the way.
Former intern.
Oh, yeah, there are like 10 feet from our window.
In our parking lot.
Yeah, probably from like my trunk.
Yeah.
I hope my car's still there.
My car's right out there.
Oh, yeah, our car's left.
That's right.
We just pulled a Z-Bing, yeah.
My GPS is that way.
It's like Bermuda Triangle.
I'm like that way.
Yeah.
All right.
Let's go.
Keith says,
Kellyn,
let's run this S back.
Actually,
we're not on fast,
right,
Jules?
Can I say the,
I can say the S?
We are on Fad.
All right,
I won't say the S word.
But thank you, Keith.
That's what Nick said to him
at the trophy presentation.
Run this S back?
Yeah.
Love that.
I mean,
I think he already took the job.
Yeah.
Yeah,
Kellin took the job.
I don't think he signed anything yet.
But he wasn't allowed to sign it,
right?
Well,
yeah,
when it's not done.
I mean,
I said just as good as gospel there.
Kellan,
thank you for your service.
The closest one yet.
That's the closest firework yet.
He's an unbelievably close.
That's very loud.
Sean Woodford says,
this is the greatest team
in Philly sports history,
better than any Phillies team,
83-6ers or the 17 birds,
fly eagles fly.
I mean,
that is very close.
They're just getting progressively closer.
The fireworks are getting closer to our building.
Julia is getting nervous.
Julia's now on the scene.
Yeah, right there.
That's awesome.
Nice.
Ross L. says to dominate a team like the Chiefs,
to play defense at this level,
and to be able to win through the air
when they took away our dominant ground game,
this team should rank
among the all-time grades.
Now, look, to rank among the all-time
grades, you got to win another one.
I know it's two in like
seven years, eight years, but you're
going to have to win another one in the next year or two
to be considered one of the all-time grades.
And if they do that, absolutely.
I mean, I heard some, you know, national
pundits say this week,
this might be one of the greatest
salary cap era teams ever
of just pure talent
on a roster. Hard to argue.
Yeah.
You didn't get no complaints out of being.
No.
I mean,
when you look at the blue chip talent on offense
and then the young talent on defense.
It's an embarrassment of riches.
Yeah.
And the way that those guys were coached up,
the execution,
the dominance.
I mean,
again,
like the,
they were one of the first teams
in modern history,
like in like recent,
like this century to be number one defense
and to have the number one run game.
Like you didn't have that combination,
you know,
since the year 2000,
right?
Like we're talking like in modern history
and just,
just a,
Just an unbelievable performance on both sides of the ball.
Well, thank you, Ross, for the super chat.
No disagreements here.
Again, just facts.
Let's go to vet who says, I thought it would be a two-score game.
That was a welcome surprise.
Now, I do have some regrets that I didn't go to one of our presenting sponsors,
Bet 365.
I had so much invested in the future bet.
I did want to bet an alternate line tonight, and I didn't pull the trigger.
And I have a little bit of regret about that.
I mean, you still got your super bowl.
Yeah, I did. I did.
I did. But you got to pray this week.
That was one of the comments after Jake's generous super chat was, oh, his parlay hit tonight.
Jake makes the man.
David Arroyo says, shout out to Jamie's Letterman ones.
Damn right.
Yeah.
Wrong color, though.
Yeah, I threw them on because they're comfy as hell.
And I got in the car and I was like, oh, wait, they're red.
That's probably a bad sign.
But what are you going to do?
Yeah, yeah. There's no stopping this team. That's the bottom line. Roy Anderson gave us $999. And Roy, for that, we love you. Thank you. No comment. Just what up? Timothy Malcolm says, I told people going into this that the team, if the team broke it open, we would talk about them as an all-time football team. They are. What a season. Go birds.
I mean, this is a fun conversation. Is this the greatest Philadelphia sports team ever? I'm enjoying it.
I mean, I think aunt's saying it right away, like, he's got quite a perspective.
For him to just be like right away, like, yes.
So I wanted to hear his answer on it.
Yep.
Next up is RVR City NAR, something like.
Oh, sorry, Roy.
Roy Anderson says my daughter, Vera was born in January 16th, and she has never seen an Eagles loss.
That is awesome.
Congratulations, Roy.
Congratulations to you and Vera.
that is awesome enjoy this time don't wake the baby while you're celebrating our vr city nar says
first year i subscribe to the athletic and listen to the crew birds won their first super bowl

Make sure they subscribe to the channel.
Maybe you want to gift them a diehard.
It's such a good sale going on.
So hop in there and join the fam here at PHLY.
Roheet says, that one really taxed my voice.
I'm going to need a sip here.
Your voice is going to be.
Oh, it's toast.
Zach and Boer flying back tomorrow during the show.
So me and you are going to be doing the Eagles show at two.
Be prepared to talk a lot.
So I'm doing the Eagles.
show.
Yeah, right.
On streamer.
Oh, fantastic.
There may not be a building here, but we might need new studios.
All right.
Scott Galupo says, can Zach be sure to remind Nick Wright of his claim that it was
impossible to blow out the chiefs?
Yeah.
I think that's worthy of a tax or a phone call.
Nick may change his number again, though.
That's a good point.
It's a good point.
now Zach and him go way back
and Zach speaks of him as
a great friend
and guy
I love that he got his face
just smeared it in on this one
because he went viral for saying
oh the Eagles are stupid for signing Sequin
you don't give that much money to a running bag
but he got old takes exposed
left and right this season
and I enjoyed the hell out of it
so thank you Nick Wright
for you know
for all of them
What was that? Next up, Eric Eber
For that D-Line performance
For Z-B for Bo for my best friend
Ride or Die with me
I need a
E-A-G-L-E-S-E-E-O
Thank you, Eric for that super chat
And I think everybody just wants my voice
To be shot at this point
Mikey Faze says
Real Talk is Z-Burm writing book three
The people want to know
I guess we'll have to wait to find out
I would imagine they'll join
us in the next 20, 30 minutes, maybe,
but that locker room was going.
That locker was still going.
Yeah, I would have thought
that they would start clearing out by now,
but they were still going pretty hard.
Any of your feelers for a performer at the after party?
Yeah, still waiting to get confirmation.
A couple of guys have gotten back to me,
but they said they actually didn't know,
which that's, now that I think about it,
Meek Mill was there with Michael Rubin and others,
so he possibly is going on.
Well, that was like a...
Taylor Swift's and Eagles.
fan well and there there was also like uh i remember this in 2022 was like oh you know if if they win
it'll be this person if they lose it would be this person so uh there were always there was always a little
bit of ambiguity about who it could be the contingency plan loser artist yeah i think it just kind
ultimately like came down to like all right like who wants to come and party for a little bit and uh yeah
do you want to come to this place or not so uh so bow just tweeted out a fantastic video
Nice.
That is very close.
That's like right there.
That video you're watching on the screen right there is a Jalen Hertz sitting down at the locker, puffed on a victory cigar.
Good shot.
Sequin can shotgun a beer now.
Diana Rossini with the video of Sequin shotgun and a beer.
That's that happy valley shotgun skills.
right there. That's a pretty impressive.
But that's a great video of Jalen Hurts
sitting down smoking the victory stogue.
Very good work by Bo Wolf
there. You're saying he had some
practice at a frat party or something like that?
Segwon? Yeah. Yeah, no doubt about it.
How's your shotgun skills?
Poor. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not
the best either.
Alec Quanzi.
Alex. What did I say? Alec.
Alec Berg.
Alex Kwanzi.
He says, Eagles, undefeated with Bo and somebody in the same building,
Coincident and Trump in the same building.
That's a shot of both.
Oh, we'll love that.
Thank you for your 499, Alex.
Jacob Tammy, the tight end?
Wow, we have former NFL tight ends joining in the Super Chat.
That's awesome.
Says, a drunken thank you to the community.
You all build through this is this show.
That is so loud outside.
Is it getting under attack?
It's getting progressively louder.
Outside.
I thought it was going to like, you know, maybe start to die.
It's getting louder and louder.
This is unbelievable.
That one felt like it was hitting the building.
That was wild.
A drunken, thank you for the community.
You all build through this show.
No other show captures the entirety of what it means to be a birds fan
like you all do.
Go birds.
Thank you, Jay.
That means a lot.
Thank you, Jacob.
We try to run the gamut of everything here from X&O pros to to journalists, to former players, to idiots that want to see people eat horse poop out on Broad Street.
So we try to encapsulate it all.
So thank you.
You want to do it.
I don't want to do it.
I would vomit.
I think it's out there.
I want to see somebody do it.
I very much want to see somebody do it.
All right, James C91, little 1999 action there.
First time chatter, long time listener.
Thank you, James.
James, Go Birds, PHLY team, help me get through a very challenging year,
and I appreciate every single one of you for bringing the normalcy and joy to our day-to-day
Super Bowl champs. James, that means a lot. Thank you for the kind words. We're happy to do
what we do, and when we hear it helps people get through hard times. It makes our job so awesome.
So thank you, James. That is awesome to read. Cleveland John says the PhD,
why Super Bowl gear is gas, but I need a rocks glass.
All right.
I can run that by the Merch Department.
I could go for a little Super Bowl champs rock glass to have a little bourbon in.
All right.
Let me hit one more and then we'll get to Mr. Robert Wolf.
Terrell Cooper says, Chargers fan here.
Happy for y'all.
Thanks for stomping the Chiefs.
Hopefully Herbert and Harbaugh can follow up next year.
We talked about that earlier.
I got a text from a Bill's fan.
I got a text from a Bears fan.
Some of my buddies from college,
a Chargers fan here in the Super Chat.
And everybody was just like,
thank you for taking down the evil empire
that was Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
It's rare air to have America's support like this.
It's pretty cool.
It's a role I would imagine
that most of Philadelphia is pretty uncomfortable with.
Unfamiliar with, uncomfortable with all of it.
Yeah, absolutely.
All right.
Let's go down to the
Caesar's Superdome.
He's been capturing amazing footage
from the locker room.
How are we doing, guys?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me?
Yeah, we can hear you. We can hear you.
Oh, good. What a scene.
I mean, I don't know how much of the stuff you guys were able to show,
but Vinie, I think you, I don't know how much you remember of that
victorious post-game locker room, but a lot of cigar smoke, a lot of booze,
a lot of dancing, a lot of loud music, a lot of celebration.
after I think what we can all agree is about as dominant a Super Bowl performance as you could ever see. Unbelievable.
Man, it was, you know, straight submission.
I mean, like the best defensive performance ever.
I think this team cemented itself as one of the best defenses ever.
Jalen Hertz rises to the occasion again.
I mean, these two teams did not even belong on the same field in this game.
It was unbelievable, and they were celebrating like that is exactly what they did, because that's what they deserve.
So, Bo, you're bringing us the locker room report, which is brought to you by our friends at TrueMark Financial Credit Union.
Oh, sorry, Jules.
So we're going to slide in.
There we go, the locker room board brought to our friends at True Mark.
Bo, you are fresh off the locker room.
And the question everybody wants to know is, did Vic smile?
You know what it was funny?
Vic was like the guy who was in there probably the least.
in the middle of all the celebration about like two thirds of the way through.
He comes out from one room.
He's just wearing like jeans and a button down.
He's not smiling and he just leaves.
I mean, I think he was smiling earlier,
but in the locker room he was not a part of it.
Like you saw you saw Howie Roseman getting in the middle of the dance
and getting in with the guys.
You saw Siriani coming around with his Stogie and celebrating.
You saw like all the other personnel people and staff celebrating.
Vic was like the one guy who was absolutely not a part.
of it. He did his job up in the boot and he was, he was moving on.
The word from the chat was that he did smile on the,
on the podium, like in the post game celebration. So we got that at least out of
Vic Fangio. Bo, if you had to, what do you call it? Store crank. Is that what you
call the win? Sure. Okay. You had to rank the,
the top three celebrators from the locker. Who, who was the craziest in that
locker because the video that you've posted?
It's just outstanding on your timeline.
We've been showing a lot of it here on the show.
Oh, that's tough.
There were, you know, there were a couple guys who were, like, in the middle of everything.
One of them was Andre Sam.
Shout out to Andre Sam.
Wow.
Wow.
He really celebrated.
Like, he was Super Bowl MVP.
Fantastic performance.
Nolan Smith, I think you would expect is, you know, is a pretty jubilant guy.
I'm trying to think of it.
I mean, it was such madness.
And the beautiful thing about that scene is,
is it's like a Robert Altman movie that's dating me.
But like every little person has their own story that is so beautiful.
Like you've got A.J. Brown who's just sort of sitting in contemplation in his locker,
celebrating with a couple people talking about it.
You've got Jalen Carter who's celebrating at first.
But then so like their lockers here are sort of you can stand on them.
And so everybody who's in their locker is like standing above the fray.
And Jalen Carter is sitting there or standing there rather with his shirt off.
Stogie in mouth and just like looking out on the scene.
Once Sequin got in,
he was very much in the middle of it
and dancing with his shirt off.
That was fun to watch.
And then like you get Jalen's arrival when he comes.
It's really cool.
I mean, everybody in that locker room,
this is what they've been working so hard for.
And it's not just the players.
It's not just the coaches.
It's the personnel staff.
It's the trainers.
It's the, you know,
it's the locker room staff.
Like all of these people who have given
so much of themselves
and sacrificed for months on end
was for this and now
they get to celebrate. It's a beautiful thing.
So,
Bo, Jalen Hertz gets his
MVP award.
Everybody
can shut up now, right?
Now I got to
here's what you got to say because
I will tease it to Zach because
when Jeffrey Lurrie walks
off the field to celebrate
his second Super Bowl championship,
he points at one person.
He points at Zach Berman.
And then after the post-game celebration,
Zach is the one who starts getting face-time with Jeffrey Lurie.
Zach, I cannot wait to hear what he told you.
Am I on?
Yes.
Got me?
Oh, great talking to you guys.
I mean, I'm excited for this.
Yeah, I spoke to Jeffrey Lurie,
and he was talking about the emotion in the moment,
how he wanted this.
for Philadelphia.
He spoke about Jalen Hertz having that clutch gene,
something he spoke about this week.
He said of all the questions he had going into this game,
Jalen Hertz wasn't one of them.
He expected this from Jalen Hertz,
raved about Howie Roseman being the best GM in football.
Talked about the talent that this team had,
but also talked about the togetherness,
talked about the resolve that they had.
He spoke quite a bit about,
like the work that went in to getting this point.
He thought they would do this two years ago.
I asked him, like in your wildest dreams,
could you have imagined the game looking like that?
And he referenced the way they played in the NFC championship.
He's like he thought it was possible.
And he spoke a lot about Vic Fangio and said,
he just wished they got Vic Fangio a year ago.
He said that was always the plan.
But you could see he was taking it in.
He got, you know, he was even dancing.
You know, I would add to what Bowes said,
Howie Roseman was enjoying himself quite a bit.
There was a little, you know,
how he was in the middle of that circle quite a bit there.
So, yeah, I think both summed it up well as far as that locker room scene.
But speaking to Jeffrey Lurie, you could see the pride that he had in this team in particular.
So, Zach, everybody in the chat wants to know,
is book number three getting started?
You know, I got to get home.
We got to talk to my wife.
There's a lot.
There's a lot we've got to go through.
But yeah, it's certainly, it will be fun to dig in.
This team has a great story to tell.
And that locker room scene was unique, right?
Like I reek or maybe some people say it smells good of cigar smoke right now.
I have champagne beer all over me right.
now. So, you know, I talked about using the senses. I wasn't drinking in there, but, you know,
there's, you know, you're getting sprayed left and right. And, you know, the embraces, I thought
Bo put it well from, you know, people from all sides of the building. And yeah, Bo hit on the head
with Andre Sam. You know, I've gotten to know Andre Sam a bit this year. And Andre Sam came up to me,
and he was excited, you know.
Andre Sam was having fun.
James Bradbury was in there.
You know, long time Eagles were in there.
Actually, here's a cool scene.
And Vinny will especially appreciate this.
So Brandon Graham is by his locker and picks up his phone and he facetimes.
Who do you think he FaceTime someone?
Who do you think he facetimes?
Fletch.
Maybe he, maybe he, maybe he, maybe he,
did at one point when I was there it was Jason Peters.
He was holding Jason Peters up.
You could see Jason Peters.
I got a photo of it.
And he calls Jalen hurts over and Jalen and well, well, Jalen was actually looking
forward before Brandon Graham because Jalen wanted Brandon Graham to come in the middle
and to celebrate Brandon was over by his locker going through.
But yeah, I thought both something up well in terms of like A.J. Brown,
W. J. Brown wasn't dancing.
AJ Brown was like sitting in really savoring the moment,
but there were other guys for getting after it.
So a question for both of you.
We've been batting this around a little bit.
Is this the greatest Philadelphia sports champion ever?
Well.
And thank you to True Mark Financial for presenting the locker room report there
as we wanted to see the full frontal of Zach Berman.
Well, I mean, after all that secondhand smoke and secondhand alcohol,
you might get it.
I'm looking up the exact brand of the alcohol while Bo speaks.
So Bo can answer that question.
I'm going to get you the exact brand because, you know, I've got to get all these pertinent details here.
So I, yeah, getting the exact thing here.
I guess it's hard for me to think of the other sports, but I would have to think so because this team.
I mean, think about it.
I was thinking about this before the game, all the focus on like what place the chiefs would
have in history if they cemented having a three Pete, right?
Yeah.
But what about the place in history for this Eagles team?
When they had AJ Brown and J.
and Jalen Hertz finish the game,
they were undefeated this season.
They didn't lose a single time, right?
The three times they lost,
J. Lerts gets knocked out,
AJ Brown gets knocked out,
and then the game in Tampa,
they didn't have A.J. Brown.
Now, you can make all kinds of excuses for other teams,
but this team is so good.
And they really played like two or three,
complete games all year long.
They were so talented.
This game to me was interesting.
I felt like the Chiefs game plan was,
we are not going to let Sequin Barclay beat us,
and we are not going to let Jalen Carter beat us.
And the Eagles said,
okay, we will let the 20 other players on the field
dominate this game every single one of their matchups.
I mean, they were the defensive line in the first half.
I've never seen anything like it.
It was unbelievable.
So yeah, I do.
I think this is the best Eagles team.
of all time.
And I think considering
like who they beat how dominantly
they beat them, maybe it's
recency bias, but yeah, it would be hard for me
to think of a better team.
When it comes to that defensive line, guys,
was there a moment when you guys thought like,
oh yeah, this game is over or this game
is maybe early on.
You thought, okay, this is a completely different
type of thing. Was there like a moment
that stood out that was like, oh, okay, this is a
rep? Yeah, so
I'll jump in there. Well, I thought the
game was over, really, in the third quarter when Kansas City didn't come out on that opening
drive and score. That's when the defense kind of continued that dominance there. Obviously,
I thought Devante's touchdown was like, you know, that sealed it essentially. But I thought that
opening drive was going to be critical. As far as how the game was going to go, it was probably
the Cooper DeGine pick six because the pressure.
that they were getting there.
I mean, Josh Sweat, I got to tell you,
I was close to voting for Josh Sweat for MVP,
man.
I think you might have.
Maybe you should have.
You are a voter.
Yeah, so there's 16 voters,
and I'm one of them,
but, you know, Bo's my man,
or I'm Bo's man,
however you want to frame it.
So I kept saying the Bo,
who should I vote for?
Who should I vote for?
We're a couple.
And we joked on the show.
We joked on the show that if Josh,
and it was met as a joke
when I revealed that I was a voter during Swooper.
And Bo's like, so if Josh Sweat wins, we know Zach rigged it, right?
And then he has two and a half sacks.
And I said, I said, if he gets one more and he breaks Reggie White's record, I need to vote for him.
Yeah.
But then Jaylon Hertz had those two drives back to back, you know, where he has all the rushing
yards, and then he throws the touchdown Devante.
It's like, okay, Jayon clinch this.
But to answer Rich's question, I believe it was, it was.
richest question. It really sunk into me on the pick six that Kansas City can't move the ball
and Patrick Mahomes has no time whatsoever. By the way, so yeah, because I don't know if any other
show is giving you this, this, this detail here, okay? The champagne they were just drinking,
and you got to apologize for my ignorance here. Oh, my. I don't, okay?
Correct me if I have the pronunciation wrong.
Armand Day, Brignac, is that correct?
You nailed it.
You got the perfect pronunciation.
Thank you.
Oh, did I not?
Did I get that wrong?
That is above my pay grade, I'm assuming, so I have no idea what that even is.
It's known as it's owned by Jay-Z.
J-Z champagne.
It's the A-S-S-S-S-Benz, I believe.
It's A-S-S-Bade, gold bottles.
A-S-Fed.
What's the A-SRM.
On those.
Yeah, so just gold bottles, spraying.
Now, the beer itself, it just said, it's a white can that says beer in black letters.
So the beer drinkers, do you guys know what that is?
Because I think I know what it is, but I don't want to give the advertising to a place if I'm wrong on that.
Zach, was that the Armand, the Armand Day Brignac?
That was the champagne.
I'm talking about the beer.
That's a anywhere from like $300 to $400
to $400 bottle of champagne.
Okay.
And most people just call it the Ace of Spades.
I think the beer might have been garage beer.
Oh, yeah, Jason Kelsey.
What's that?
Yeah, the Jason Kelsey tiny and that makes sense.
But yeah, right, you know,
I was hoping I wouldn't have to take these for dry cleaning.
but man, you know, you can, and the cigars, I was trying to get the brand of cigars.
I was trying to get the brand of cigars.
I couldn't quite get the brand of cigars, but, you know, Bo spoke about it.
Jaywin Hertz walked into that locker room.
It was like Moses parting the Red Sea, right?
You know, everyone moves for him.
He goes up to his, he goes up to his locker.
And this is the shot here, right?
Takes the cigar out.
He's ready to light it.
The lighter doesn't work, right?
Someone else brings him a new lighter, but then you get that shot.
And then he has the victory puff, a well-deserved victory puff.
Yeah, a matter of fact, there was never or there was not a victory speech.
You know, if you remember, 2017, we were in there when Doug gave the victory speech.
There was no victory speech this time.
It was the party just kept going on.
And my guess is the party's going to keep going on tonight as well.
Zach, I got a title for you.
What's understood, don't have to be explained.
Ooh.
There you go.
You're right.
You're right.
You know, giving you some scene coming off the field.
By this let me just add on Jalen here, Zach,
because in addition to, we know that Jalen is very aware of like the iconic Jordan
photographs.
right? And I think he was going out of his way to recreate some of those, the lighting that you just mentioned. And then when the whole scene was over and the reporters were leaving the locker room and the lights were up and they had sort of turned the music down just a little bit, everybody's supposed to sort of get ready and get on the bus and go to the celebration. Jalen turns the corner. He goes down a little alleyway, a hallway, and he sits down on the ground against the alleyway with the Lombardi trophy to pose for those pictures. Right? It's, it, it,
And it's very reminiscent of the Jordan photograph.
I think he knew exactly what he was doing.
And it is a great, it's a great shot.
And you do have to feel very good for Jalen Hertz after everything he has been through.
I was disappointed he didn't show up for this game and come out of the tunnel in a straight jacket.
But nevertheless, he was a man at the moment.
And Bo, to your point, the Jalen Hertz, Mike Jordan collection commercial did air after the game.
So I do not think that was a mistake one bit.
I know one person that FaceTime was before he went to bed.
He was so excited about his boy, Jim Harris.
So Zach, you were saying, you know what come in?
Coming off the field, some color.
Yeah, so, yeah, so some color coming off off the field.
C.J. Gardner Johnson.
It was, it was like, what did I tell you?
When we were here in New Orleans, you didn't believe me.
And then you thought I was crazy.
You said I was crazy.
Yeah, you said that.
it was Jordan Davis, I think, said that they earned that MFer.
You know, it didn't have to be close.
I guess they kept hearing throughout the week that it was going to be a close game.
He said they earned that MFer.
Milton Williams, I mean, it was, he said they're the best in the MNF in the world.
And he was also MF in the world.
hungry as well.
Two sacks did not associate.
This is awesome.
Yeah.
Oh, wait, did I?
Yeah, I said MF her, right?
Yeah, you're good.
Yeah, you're good.
All right, good.
Honestly, yeah, I'm afraid I might have slipped up there.
But it was, it was cool, right?
Like, you know, at some point tomorrow morning, I'll go through all the quotes that I have.
But this was really trying to be the eyes and the ears and the nose.
and I mean, even, you know, even like tasting it, right?
What's that?
I have something for you.
I was congratulating an Eagles assistant coach, assistant offensive line coach, T.J. Paganetti.
And as I went in for the congratulation, his lit cigar got me right in the ear.
Like burned the inside of my ear.
I've got ashes in my ear.
So like really playing through pain.
So not only the sights and the sounds, but also.
the bruises and burns of covering the locker room.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Bo.
Yeah.
I'm sorry, I can't hear you.
I have ashes in my ear.
Interestingly, this is a night where, where like, you know, the, you try so hard to maintain,
you know, the journalistic integrity.
You know, you're not on the team.
You're not part of the team.
So, but it's when you have the guys coming in for hugs, you don't.
don't want to reject the hug, right?
So you don't initiate the hug?
You know, what, Bo, what's your strategy in that situation?
I think it's, I think it's perfectly in bounds to hug a player if they're going,
or anybody who's coming.
Yeah, because, yeah, because listen, you're not, the, the objectivity here is you're not
saying, um, you did or didn't deserve this or whatever, like, you have been covering these
people, you know these people, these people have reached the apex that they have been trying to
for so long.
It is okay to be a human being in that moment.
So the byproduct in a few cases was that awkward in between you have,
where you go in for the handshake,
they come in for the hug,
and then you adjust and they adjust.
And yeah, so.
So who is your most awkward interaction with the awkward interactions?
Is that there were multiple ones of these?
Yeah, which one was most awkward?
Orrin Berks.
Oh, your boy!
It was only awkward because you asked him if he wanted to go on a road trip.
To drive home to Ph.
So like after that one, after that one, it was just like,
it was, it was just, I was following their lead, right?
You know, I wasn't initiating.
I would let them initiate it.
So that's when when Andre Sam was coming in, man.
You know, we were good.
Andre, you were good, man.
Um, uh, also, um, also, you know, shout out to, uh, uh, shout out to Pete, um, the, on the equipment staff,
Vinny knows what I'm talking about here, uh, but he dislocated his finger. So you go in for,
yeah, so I was like, oh, wow, what's, what's wrong with the finger? But also, um, you know,
to kind of get back to some of the players, it was, by, I see that common Zach awkward.
I'm, I'm not that awkward, Beau makes me awkward, okay? I'm being self-deprecating here. Um, no, uh, all of a sudden,
an I AMO'er in Berks?
It was cool saying
Nicoby Dean in there.
Nikobe Dean was enjoying it,
limping around.
Before the game action,
Nicoby Dean was the one with the
linebackers,
getting them ready.
But as I bring up to Kobe,
something that comes to mind.
And I keep saying Vinny can appreciate this,
but I imagine Vinny will appreciate this.
Some of the biggest embraces that you saw in particular
were the players
the training staff, right?
Like Brandon Graham had some real emotional hugs with the training staff.
You could just imagine, like the team doctors.
You can just imagine what goes into getting them to this point,
to get Brandon Graham to this point.
Man, I mean, they got the best trade.
One of the, like, if not the best trade staff in the whole week.
So, you know, to get him back, you know, be ready to go on the grandest stage of them all
is just amazing.
Bo, you've talked a lot in recent weeks about the,
like the human element of the Sequin Barclay journey,
coming from New York here to Philadelphia.
You talked about the celebration that you saw from Sequin.
He had some fun in the postgame locker room,
but did you get to see some emotion from Seekwine as well,
like, you know, more of the introspective side of it,
or was it all celebratory with him?
Yeah, not really.
It really was, it was very celebratory.
Now, Zach, you can attest, like, it's very difficult to really talk to somebody or get a quote in this environment.
Like, the music is so loud.
Yeah.
You're really mostly just, like, using your eyes and taking videos and stuff like that.
But there was one point where I was trying to talk to Saigon as another reporter was.
And it was more just like talking about how great the offensive line was, how great the rest of the team was in this game, that he didn't have to make much of an effort.
or not much of an effort, but not much of an impact.
And not a lot of like solemn introspection.
It was much more.
There wasn't a lot of introspection that I saw.
It was really mostly celebratory.
Yeah.
I think AJ was the one.
AJ was the one who stood out on that front.
He was the one who was not really fully in the mix of the party in the middle.
He was sitting in his locker end to what to what Zach said.
There was a moment where two of the team trainers were sitting with him
and they were talking and taking some pictures.
and that was really the thing.
And, you know, listen, he played through an injury
the entire second half of the season, right, that knee
that was bothering him, kept him out of practice.
I think that was a picture of how much work they had to do
just to get him ready for game debt.
Yeah.
Guys, what was Siriani up to in the post game?
Great good.
Yeah.
Yeah, so I saw Nick come in, midway through, you know,
did not hug Nick, shook hands with Nick, okay.
But, yeah, just want to make me get that on the record.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm kidding.
You kissed.
Bro, the fireworks out here, fellas, is like it's inside the building.
Right outside the window like fireworks going off.
It's like you, stones throw away.
No, but I'll say this, you know, I've gotten a few texts.
I was looking at my phone when I got out of the locker room.
And I got some texts for people who, who know Nick really well, who are like, you know, just beyond happy for him.
Nick came in
and he was just going around
congratulating the guys
it wasn't
you know he wasn't
demonstrative he didn't give the speech
he was
he was he was shaking hands
hugging going around
the locker room at that point
there were different areas
to the locker room so
actually the
offensive linemen were back in another room
right
all the offensive linemen were
kind of hanging out together
but yeah in particular
in particular, Nick was just going around, shaking hands, hugging, but Nick wasn't in the middle
of the circle, at least in the times that I was observing.
So, Zach and Bo.
I'll also, wait, I'll give this quick scene here because, because, look, everything's kind of jogging
in my mind because I'm going through us.
I'm thinking about the back room.
Anthony will appreciate this, and, you know, some of our listeners will, I think everyone
will appreciate this.
Dom DeSandro, you know, who has a little bit of, you know, cult following, not just
affiliate around the country. Dom DeSandra was wearing the Italian flag, the Italy flag,
uh, on, you know, around his shoulders, almost as a cape, right? So, uh, he was,
he made sure to represent Italy in the, in the locker room and some really, um, some,
some, some, some, some, some big embraces there. Also, uh, Jeffrey Lurie and Julian Lurie.
You know, I saw a big hug there in the locker room between them. Uh, I would say that in,
Julian, Julian was very up to date on his hip-hop.
He was, he was rapping along, yeah.
Okay.
We'll continue on, and then we'll get to my next question.
Yeah, and then in another part of the locker room,
in another part of the locker room,
you saw J.1. Hertz's fiancé,
J-1-Hertz's agent,
Brandon Graham's wife, and Brandon Graham's kids.
or they're kind of in that other part of the locker room.
Howie Roseman's son, who is, you know, he's like he helps the equipment staff.
He was in there as well and kind of enjoying the moment.
So Zach and Bo, I'm curious, this isn't really game related.
But Bo, you got a front row seat to see Zach Berman's fourth concert ever.
Zach, what did you make of Kendrick going after?
And how did you guys enjoy the halftime show?
I didn't even know he went after Drake.
Was that a thing?
Yeah.
You know, Zach, tell me you, kidding, please.
Minnie.
He's not kidding.
Look, you've got to be authentic, man.
Right.
Seriously.
Like, if I can act, I can say something, but authenticity,
I hope people appreciate authenticity.
I'll talk football, 365 days.
year.
Gladly, I'll talk to
Eagles 365 days of year.
I don't know music that well.
It's not interesting.
I know you and I love you.
And even I, I feel like I'm the world's
preeminent Zach Berman scholar.
And even I am surprised that you're not even a little bit
aware of the Kendrick from work.
I wasn't listening to, I mean, look,
it was a nice show.
It's like the only thing that you might know if you looked up who was
playing the halftime show.
I'm probably familiar with like I, as you say it,
I'm familiar with.
something in the past that they had like tracks out the same day or something like that, right?
Okay.
But I didn't know at the halftime show there was something Drake related.
Yeah, he basically called him a pedophile in front of the entire world.
That's probably a big story.
Okay.
You didn't hear the entire, you didn't hear the entire stadium going to say, A minor.
No, I really, I have.
Zach, you also had somebody dropped, passed by the super chat who dropped, what,
$400, $400.
Super chat.
For you to get a Nogie.
And they want to know if Zach Berman could get a Noggi.
Will you, will you,
Max,
Max's takes?
Jake, Jake,
Jake,
makes.
It said,
it's the $400.
Holy chat.
How about our quarterback?
He's a stud.
Thanks for a great season.
Best Bird Show in town.
Give Zach a Nogie for me.
Why the Nogie?
I appreciate the $400.
dollar contribution, right?
I think that might say
Nuggy. I think that might say
Nuggy. Yeah, Nuggy.
Like this. It does
say Nuggy. Oh, okay.
Yeah, all right. People what they want.
What's that nuggy?
Meaning, I'm assuming it means like some of the money.
Unless they're trying to give me some weed, Zach.
Oh, yeah.
If it's some of the money, man, hook me up.
I'm a, yeah, but, uh, no, um,
now, I appreciate the $400 contribution.
We already have 500 likes on the YouTube video as well.
The chat coming through in a big way here tonight.
You know, like, I know we're going to have ample time to talk about the game.
I get that.
But the thing that I can't emphasize enough is how dominant the Eagles were.
Like, they were.
This wasn't even close.
Nope.
And they were, they, I had something going into the game.
Like I put out on Twitter, because I was thinking about it going into the game, like, this is nobody's underdog.
I said, this team knows they're good.
They, you know, they've been locked in all week, and they just need to play this way.
But, like, they, inside that locker room, they fell all along.
Like, they're the great team.
This is, like, a part of that 2017 team's charm was they were the underdogs.
Like, no one believed in them, right?
And it was almost like a house money thing.
this team
felt all along
from the beginning of the season
and especially during the playoffs
they felt they were the best team in the league
and that no one could beat it.
And I gent like it wouldn't surprise me
because the speech last night
was like all players getting up there and talking.
It wouldn't surprise me though that
in the offensive meeting or the defensive meeting
if the message from the coaches was like,
hey, you guys are better than them, right?
Just play your game.
You're better than them.
that's what was the way they played like nobody you know it was the worst first half of
patrick mohomes his entire career think about that his entire career yeah one first down the
fewest they did not get past midfields until until their 10th possession of the game um it was
like the and and then it wasn't it was a complete game jake elliott money on field goals right you talk about
teams. Kenny Gainwell had a huge tackle on a kickoff. You talk about offense, right? I mean,
explosive plays, moving the chains, being the more disciplined team. They weren't getting the big
chunk yards with Sequin, but the way Jalen was running the ball. I mean, just such a masterful
performance. It goes back to what we were talking about before, the best team in Philly
history. And I would say one of the best teams in recent NFL history, like in the salary
cap era. I know that they have, you know, those, those losses on, on their record. But since the
bye week, they've lost one game and it was when their starting quarterback got knocked out.
They've beaten, they, they've beaten, you know, bona fide playoff teams, the Baltimore Ravens.
Like, you know, I saw some of the Ravens have quotes during this that the Eagles were the best
team they played this year. They destroyed the Ravens. They, they,
They destroyed the Rams in L.A.
Right?
I mean, you saw what they did the Washington last week.
And then the Kansas City Chiefs,
who won 15 games this year,
going in the regular season.
The Chiefs look like a JV team tonight against the Eagles.
I mean, it's seriously,
Kenny Pickett, you know,
there's going to be a trivia question 50 years from now,
who was the last one that touched the ball?
It's Kenny Pickett.
The Eagles had Kenny Pickett in at the end of this game.
That really shows you,
like the strength of this team.
Zach, what do you rank?
What do you rank Jalen Hertz
in the franchise as a quarterback
among all the quarterbacks that came here?
You know, think about it in what?
Two Super Bowls, Super Bowl MVP.
Look, I've always been a McNabb guy.
I've always said Donald McNabb's the best quarterback
in Eagles history, even without the Super Bowl ring.
And he was with the team 99 to 2009,
so he has the longevity.
But Jaywin Hertz, the four years he's had here, okay?
Bringing the team to two Super Bowls, winning one, Super Bowl MVP,
perhaps two of the best games of his career were in the Super Bowl,
another one in the NFC championship game.
You see the way the Eagles have played when he's out of the lineup?
Yeah, I mean, I don't think, look, it might be hyperbole.
Maybe I got that golden champagne in my mouth or something.
but I'm saying I think Jalen Hertz is the best quarterback in franchise history.
Bo, where do you weigh out on that?
I mean, like, give me like a couple more years of just being normal.
And yeah, I think I think he's got it.
It's hard to argue with.
I think if we're really getting down to it like the McNabb, longevity is nice.
But yeah, I mean, Jalen Hertz has been to two Super Bowls in four years as a starter.
We can debate whether or not he's the primary reason.
but I mean you can't you can't really argue with that
certainly I don't think now is the time to argue about that
well Bob just to answer that you said
so go back to where you said that you don't know
the primary reason why I bring that up he made
he's an all pro he made three
pro bowls
two two Super Bowl appearances
been in the playoffs every year
yeah right you've been in the playoffs
every year
I don't know Bob
You only need five more.
And then when you have a defense like this,
and only looking up and up.
They be so young on the way this defense is playing,
and for this to be the youngest defense in the league,
it kind of makes you wonder,
what did the Nick say, run it back?
Did he say run it back?
That's running back.
Yeah.
If they run it back, though, ah.
Well, Vinny, I want to ask you about that, actually,
because I was thinking about this.
Obviously, we know that when you guys won the Super Bowl in 2017,
you were then a free agent and, you know, you went to go to Tampa Bay.
And I'm sure that that was in the back of your mind as you were celebrating
and as you were playing in that game.
And there are a lot of guys on this team who are in similar situations.
And I was thinking about them in the postgame locker.
We've got Milton Williams, who is going to make himself some money for sure
and may be priced out of the Eagles market.
Josh Sweat, who almost was and maybe deserved to be Super Bowl.
World MVP. Two and a half sacks was fantastic. And he was doing it on both sides too. It was
winning on the left side. On the right side. It was was unbelievable in this game. And he knows for
sure. And I talked to him briefly about that. And he said, he acknowledged it was good timing for him
for him to have this game heading into his frequency off season. You've got Zach Bonn, who had an
interception in this game. I think it's probably the most likely of that group to come back. You've got
guys like Dallas Goddard, who, you know, they might move on from his contract.
And he's there celebrating.
He's celebrating with Avanti Maddox, who probably played his last game as an eagle,
but got to step up and make a huge play in this game.
What a play that was.
You felt so good for Avanti Maddox after the season that he's been through.
You've got Mackay Beckton, who's only here for one year.
But he comes after the acrimony with the Jets and becomes a vital part of this offensive line.
You know, it is the sadness.
of a football season being over that you know that this group will never be together again.
Now they get to be cemented forever as champions together and they will always be linked by that.
But I'm curious, Vinnie, what you remember of like was there a bit of a bitter sweetness to that
celebration because you knew that you might not be back?
Yeah, I should, I should, when Howie Carl should just stay my ass put, that's what I should have
So not all of us got to say Quine, end of the story, you know what I mean?
So, well, I mean, when I mean by that, sometimes, you know, the grass ain't always greener.
So if you get, if they get a chance to get matched by someone, I think they should really look into it.
That's the advice is big bro.
One more, one more thing, like going forward.
Don't get a twitch.
The way the performance look tonight, most likely the team that is, you know, you know,
going to reach out and throw the most money
at you, it's not a playoff
team.
I don't know why it's like that. I don't know why
this league is like that. It seems like the
non-playoff teams are the most money.
Yeah. I think the bears have the most money.
You know, so you have to
really think about that. Also,
also, also, also
like for, also think about
the scheme-wise.
Also thing about scheme wise, you know, when we went to Tampa, it wasn't exactly the attack Jim Swartz scheme.
So you find yourself constantly arguing about different things.
We had Gerald McCoy on the shirt early during the week.
He actually talked about, you know, some of the things that, you know what I mean?
So a lot of this stuff just have to line up.
But if you want to go chase the bag over championships, I'm not going to stop you.
I'm not mad at that.
I mean, I went, come on.
You know, so, like, you know, like, I, you know, like, I.
You can't be mad at that, but at the end of the day,
we didn't get the two Super Bowls in a four years spare.
Yeah.
This right here, there's something cooking, bro.
There's something cooking.
Guys, I said the words mini dynasty earlier.
Now, you need to win another one to kind of get there.
But if you're able to get another Super Bowl in the next year or two.
I just saw a lot of sweat.
Let's let's celebrate this one first.
Yeah.
That's what I said.
I know.
I know.
Yeah.
But like if you all of a sudden are in three Super Bowls in a five-year period,
you got something special.
But I think I think you can make the case.
I think this cements it that over the past decade,
aside from the Chiefs, the Eagles have been the best team at football,
the best franchise in football, right?
They've been to three Super Bowls.
They've won two.
They absolutely deserve the flowers.
They're the gold standard of the NFC.
And, Beau, let's not forget to add this.
We're the most wise.
most entertaining team to watch.
Well, certainly on PHOI.
So something else that Jeffrey said in there,
as you said it is he said,
they were able to beat Brady and they were able
to beat Mahomes, right?
Like that?
Yeah.
That matters to Jeffrey.
I would say the same thing Beau said and Fran said,
Jamie, I love you, man, but don't get to enjoy this one,
enjoy this one.
Yeah, because actually when I was,
I just bring it,
When I was walking in tonight, like, when I was walking in tonight, like, I was talking to someone who said, who said, God, it'll be really bad if the Eagles don't win.
And I was like, you know how hard?
I was like, you know how hard it is to get to the Super Bowl?
Like, and he said, exactly.
It's like, you don't know if this, if this mix of players, if this mix of circumstance is going to happen again, right?
So, so like when you have this opportunity, you have to capitalize on it.
It is, think about it this.
The Eagles were, when they lost the Chiefs, okay, the next year, last year, even when they were 10 and 1, it was like a disaster in there.
For, it just wasn't the right mix of people, wasn't the right mix of personalities at that point.
It wasn't the right mix of coaches.
I mean, Kellyn Moore is going to be coaching here next year, okay?
The Eagles are going to have a new offensive coordinator again, all right?
like Milton Williams
Josh Sweat
they're probably going to leave
Mackay Beckton might leave
I don't know if Dallas Goddard's going to be back
next year
Brandon Graham probably played his last game
like there's
there's so you know
every year is a new team
even if you have the core in place
it is it's hard to get back you know
think about this the Buffalo Bills
like the Buffalo Bills are a Super Bowl caliber team
the Baltimore Ravens are a Super Bowl caliber team
but it is so hard
to win this game.
My point is that those teams don't get to the Super Bowl.
The Eagles have now been there three times
in eight years and won two of them.
And this team is locked in.
They're the youngest defense in the league.
Your skill positions on offense are amazing.
Your offense align amazing.
Jalen Hertz now can say, you know,
basically kiss my ass to everybody in NFL media.
I just, I don't think the good times are going to end.
I think the Eagles have a model in place
with Howie Roseman being the best GM in sports,
that this is a repeatable thing.
I'm not saying to win it,
but three Super Bowls in eight years,
this is truly the golden era of Eagles football,
and I'm enjoying hell out of this one,
but I don't think it's it.
Well, this is definitely the golden era.
Like, this, you know, I would, I tell fans all the time,
I, this is not normal.
Like, it's, it's, it's not normal to, to,
like have the expectation every year that your team wins the Super Bowl. And look, we're a tough
market and, you know, we can be critical of every decision like that, you know, how he might
not like that that comes with the territory. But you take a step back. And I did ask Jeffrey
this tonight. I said like, I said, Jeffrey, what does this win say about where this franchise
stands in the NFL and in professional sports? And his response to me was like, you have to be
humble. You have to be humble. And then it says it has to start with him.
He's quoting, he's quoting Kendrick, Zach. Kendrick Lamar, who did the half-time show tonight.
Yeah, be humble. Who know how to distract the Drake, right?
Yeah. He's learning. Right? I mean, yeah, seriously, Drake,
Drake was probably rooting for the Chiefs. He's all about like, you know, tucky basketball.
Drake would, Drake was probably not watching this game. No. One would hope. Yeah. I just,
Actually, that's funny.
I will cut you up because I did ask Thomas Booker,
we did the tabo with him, and his favorite rapper is Drake.
And I said, it's going to be a tough, tough night for you.
He's like, yeah, like, I hope they come out and perform together.
I'm like, I don't think that's going to happen, my man.
From my understanding, it did not happen.
Speaking of musical acts, now the locker room is clearing out.
I got word on who's performing at the post-game party.
What do we got?
Sorry, we've been waiting on this all the show, guys.
So sexy red.
I like sexy red.
Big the plug.
And then apparently another special guest that it hasn't been confirmed,
but there is suspicion that might be Lil Wayne at the party.
Three of six favorites.
Three of Zah, yeah, right there.
Zach, where does sexy red rank for you amongst modern performers?
That's Andy Reed in a bikini.
Probably between, yeah, probably between like Kendrick Lamar and
Joel how about that all right so
christ is our social media maybe
he does an awesome for us Chris Chris Chris Chris Chris Chris Chris Chris Chris Chris was out on the street
Chris was out on the street with the mic that's awesome
but what is it kind of this brick out there uh the parade is Friday the Eagles did it now
I switched it okay because Thursday looks like a
rain day so it looks like they're just scheduling it for friday now guys we have a diehard sale going on
zack bow less fran you guys are worth it alone plus you get the best sixers coverage flyers fillies
in town there's a diehard sale going on now zach i know you're going to torture yourself
about how much you're putting out this week and what you're writing about why don't you both give
the people a little bit of a teaser of what you're going to be working on tomorrow morning tuesday
day what your week's looking like on all p hely dot com yeah so i really want to capture the scene
of kind of what i saw heard smell tasted all that in the locker room so the first piece i do will be
will be a scene piece um and then maybe i'll follow it up with the jail and piece and then you know
we got there'll be some other stories to come off this um you know i'll see what else comes
out of it like honestly i did more observing tonight than interviewing um
And that was, you know, there were a lot of guys at podiums and I'll listen through to what they said.
But really, I want to try to take the reader where they aren't and kind of the viewer where they aren't.
And so I'll try to get some more scene in stories.
We've got a great staff who have some more stuff.
And then got to figure out the week ahead.
So you said the parade's Friday?
Parade is Friday.
Back, you can miss it.
It's okay.
It's okay.
I gave you permission.
I got to have.
You have-
No, no, no, no, no, no.
No, no, no, no.
It's not a long conversation.
It's a short conversation.
We are going.
You are not going to the parade.
Please.
We'll see.
We'll see.
We'll see.
We'll have this discussion offline.
Oh, no.
Zach.
My wife's supposed to go away next weekend.
Yeah, you're going away next weekend.
That's ridiculous.
People do you want to know how much sleep you got last night.
How was your date with your, your Advil PM?
Last night was awesome, actually.
Last night, I got, how about this, eight hours.
on the dot.
Wow.
That's literally.
Zach,
Zach.
On the dot.
A sleep score.
My aura ring
had to give me a
sleep score of 91,
which is like a record of mine.
My heart rate was good all night, right?
So, yeah, which is good
because I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight.
And, you know,
Bo and I are,
we have a flight on set.
We have a flight on Southwest tomorrow.
We're both in,
we're both pretty,
late in the draw. So might be sitting in a middle seat. Hopefully I get some sleep on that plane
because tonight I might be rolling through and then got that J-1 Hertz press conference at 830
tomorrow morning. Oh, that's right. Bo, what do you got cooking in that demented brain of yours?
Yeah, like Zach said, there was not a lot of talking in the locker room tonight. So my piece
tonight, I'm just going to, I'm going to put out all the videos and pictures and stuff that I have
compile it in one piece so people can get a sense of.
the locker room and then there will be more stuff to come as the week goes on. I do want to give
sort of a take back a big picture look at the defense because I think this is a defense that
has cemented itself as one of the best in modern history. But before we go, I do want, I want to take
one moment, if you'll indulge me. I felt like the Super Bowl in 2017 was like it was for the city,
right? Philadelphia needed that Super Bowl. The first one in city history and franchise history.
I want to celebrate and congratulate for this Super Bowl,
all of the displaced Eagles fans around the world
who are not able to be in Philadelphia.
We had our lovely meetup with the sickos yesterday afternoon here in New Orleans.
I hope I'm getting his name right.
There was a guy named Ahmed who flew in from Bahrain.
He's a sicko from Bahrain.
We had a sicko from Alaska who came.
We had people from Los Angeles, people from New Orleans,
people from all over the world who mentioned that this show and P.H.O.Y is a touch point for them to feel like a part of a community that they cannot be because they are in, they are not in Philadelphia.
And so I just want to give a shout out and congratulate all the Eagles fans who join us and are able to find that sense of a community from around the world because I know that there are so many.
Yeah, it's really great stuff. We got a couple chats from Ireland and not.
Australia and some others.
And it really is cool stuff
when we get to connect people like that.
Yeah, my parting shot would be like this,
this feeling that you, the audience has right now.
Like, this is why you do it.
This is why you're a fan.
Like we, you know, I think about our show, for instance, all right?
We're on five days a week year round.
We're breaking down the third string.
We did a whole show on undrafted rookie tight end who didn't even make it the second week of training camp, okay?
They wouldn't win this game by 70 points if Dylan McMahon was on the team.
We were talking about the agriculture management major, you know, McKellon Castles, right?
I bring this up as a way of saying like Eagles fans in particular, but being a sports fan in general, the level of devotion you have all year long, you know, training camp and mini camps.
and you think about the preseason game against the Patriots,
and you're obsessing over this performance and that player.
And then the Monday mornings you wake,
the Monday morning after the Tampa game where you're like,
why do we even live, right?
And the Monday morning after the Falcons game,
where you're like, how could he drop that pass?
And like all that you do all year long, years long,
like it's for, it's like to experience what the,
What was in that locker room tonight, what was in the stands tonight.
Imagine what's on Broad Street tonight.
What's on Burpin Street tonight.
What I imagine is at the team hotel tonight.
Like, this is why people are fans and this is why we do what we do so we can chronicle these moments.
Bo, since you started talking, since you started making that point, just in the chat, Hawaii, North Carolina, Canada, Arkansas, Alaska, Germany.
Hold on.
Now my YouTube's crashing.
because they literally just going down the Netherlands.
We had someone from Nova Scotia, Atlanta, Denver, Missouri, Arkansas, the Ozarks,
like everyone chime in from where they're from, just from the chat right now.
That's awesome.
Awesome.
You two are the best, an incredible season covering the team from both of you.
I encourage people if you're not a diehard already, take advantage of the sale.
We'll flash the QR code when you two are off, so people have a chance to hop on it.

thank you to everyone in this,
in the studio.
You know, I can say,
I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here.
Bo had a little fomo because
love you guys.
Because, yeah,
love you, Julia.
Yeah.
Yeah, Bo had a little
fomo tonight because, you know,
he,
we have such a community with our team.
He loves being in that studio doing the games, like people tune into it.
Yeah, so this, we're all, we're all a part of this coverage.
And so, so thank you to all you guys.
All right.
Make sure you're checking out all p.l.ly.com for the latest from Zach and Bo.
They'll be back in Philadelphia tomorrow.
It's going to be a great week and the Eagles are world champions.
Combines of two weeks, boys.
We'll see you soon.
Can't wait.

Dimitri Bordanis says,
Go Birds from Melbourne.
We are champions.
See everyone in 2026.
P.HLY coverage is Fire Flames.
Melbourne, as somebody that lived in Australia,
is very much the Philadelphia of Australia.
Okay.
So I felt a Philly kind of vibe in connection to Melbourne.
We had some Brisbane in the chat.
Yeah, that's the Gold Coast, baby.
We know a lot about Australia.
I live there for six months.
I love Australia.
My friend in Fremantle
became a birds fan because he hung out
with me and my sick-oh birds fan, and he
is a bird's fan for life.
Send me a message earlier today, said I'll be watching.
David Arroyo says, how do we judge
Nick now feels complicated?
He won.
He's a Super Bowl winning head coach. He's going to have
that. I mean, look, at the end of the day,
like it doesn't make him invincible. No.
Well, Doug Peterson got canned.
I mean, a couple years later.
But he's at least got himself two to three years.
Yeah, I mean, that's...
At minimum.
You're a Super Bowl winning head coach.
No one's taking that away from you.
And when a mini dynasty is happening, you know, nothing.
Nothing else is going to happen.
Oh, we have another guest, Julie?
Before we do the guest, do you have the QR code before I forget?
Because my dumb brain forgets things?
For the diehard sale.
Just to flash it because Zach and Bo are going to be putting out so much great content this week
as well as Fran and everybody else here.
It's a great time to hop in.
to become a diehard, if you ever considered it,
just a great opportunity for you.
So before we get to our special guest, we'll just fly.
Okay.
So we have our special guest.
Hey.
Oh, nice.
What's up, man?
You're live.
Kyle, unmute.
Unmute.
Is he gaming?
Kyle?
What a performance by Kyle.
Oh, this is great.
Oh, yeah.
You're live.
Do you hear us?
Do you hear us?
Can you hear us?
He can't hear us.
Julia, I can't hear anything for these guys.
I love y'all, but I can't.
To you hear us now?
Thumbs up.
That I think it's on your end.
We hear you now.
This is like watching a Charlie Chaplin movie.
I can't hear anything you guys are saying right now, unfortunately.
Julia, save me.
Please.
What's happening?
I think we got a problem.
She said change your audio settings.
He can't hear us.
Can you taxi?
You got some of that Dom Parry on.
Let's maybe reconnect.
that because I like where that was going.
I was feeling no pain.
PHOI after after hours.
It's been a long night.
Now,
can you hear us?
Boys, boys, I can hear you now.
Let's go.
Let's go, Kyle.
So, Kyle, were you at on Broad Street enjoying the evening?
I was.
I was at, I think it was about Broad and Pine,
roughly. I think I heard blow the whistle probably 75 times on the low end of things. I smoked,
I think, three different cigars. I took a few pulls, a gym beam of fireball of a few other things.
I was just, you know, man about town, having a good time. I was listening to our very straight-laced
professional journalists on this show, ZB and Bo with his, you know, his nice jacket on.
I just love seeing your beautiful faces here as we wrap up a Super Bowl.
This is the best Philadelphia sports team ever, period.
Point of life.
The best.
Best that ever do it.
Kyle, when did you know the game was over?
I'm trying to think of the series that it was.
but watching Patrick Mahomes just be rattled in that pocket
as the defensive line just hit him over and over.
And even when they didn't get to him completely,
as he was trying to, you know, he's so used to,
he's a great improviser and all that,
but watching him have pressure on him the entire game.
And even when he's not throwing interceptions,
is throwing, you know, wayward passes
or is not confident of the pocket staying stable
around him.
It was at some point in the first half.
I was like, this game is just done, right?
Like the defense is just too good.
I've never felt as confident in a unit on any Philadelphia sports team as I felt about
the defense this season.
Vic Van Gio and all those guys on that defense were just unbelievable for the final,
I don't know, 14 weeks of the season.
Just like what a crazy run.
Those guys went on to end this year.
So, Kyle, as you love.
left broad street was it dying down or was it still raging on so honestly i can compare it to
2018 where it was more of a free-for-all they did section things off a little bit where i believe
there was it was like a trash truck and i think lombard where that was a at least a little bit of a
barrier and then once you got closer to city hall there was a second barrier even closer to
there at past pine, but like only a little bit past pine. So they were doing a, I don't know if
it's a good job or at least an effective job of trying to keep people within their designated zones,
but plenty of climbing up Lent poles and all kinds of other stuff. I saw a couple of traffic
lights actually fell down while I was on my way back. So very active out there tonight. That is awesome.
Well, Kyle, enjoy the rest of the evening.
Are you going to get much sleep tonight
or are you just going to consume more Eagles content?
Oh, I'm going right to sleep out today.
I just want to make sure I said hello to you.
Fine gentlemen who've been on the night shift,
the celebratory shift here tonight.
Go birds.
Great job, everybody.
That's the best Philadelphia sports team ever.
That's all I have to say.
No disagreements here.
Hi, Kyle.
See you, man.
Later, Kyle.

Yeah.
Okay.
Awesome.
So die hard sale.
Take advantage of it.
All right.
More super chats.
We got to run through them.
Dan the man is two wins in the home of New Orleans Saints.
A repudiation on the lights are killing me.
On J.D. Vance's staunch Catholicism.
I'll hang up and listen.
Thank you for the super chat.
Mr. Dan the man.
Hoffa.
Haflax.
Hallfax?
24.
And now we can
rewatch Kendrick's
halftime show forever
without it being soured.
True.
Yeah, Zach's
answer on Drake and
just perfect.
Well, that sounds like a big story.
That would be a big story.
He was
acting like it had just been
uncovered and it was like, you know,
it was like deep throat
water gate, you know, or something like that.
Botax says,
BG only had one tackle, but he was in Mahomes' kitchen all night long.
Sure was.
They missed about two holes on him, right?
Yeah, they did.
I did.
I wanted to see this.
The boss up.
I'm so happy for him, though.
I'm so happy for Lane.
These guys, two times two times Super Bowl champs, man.
That's sick.
Yeah, that is pretty awesome.
And the guy, like, Slay, too, a vet gets one, kind of, probably in his last year here with the Eagles.
Very cool.
And slowly, it would be a pro.
He'll be a Hall of Famer one day.
very slate NFL Hall fame yeah

Got some great gear, the gold standard collection
Ultra Ronin says
Birds undefeated in Super Bowls
when Carson Wentz is on the bench
2 and oh baby
By the way speaking of back
Cup quarterbacks. Nick Foles did tweet.
Yes, this is good.
It's really cool that Tom Brady got to be there for the Eagles
two Super Bowl wins. He might be a good luck charm.
Have a great night.
That's great.
At least Patrick Mahomes shook Jaylen's hand.
He did not pull a Brady. He went out there and dapped up Jalen and they talked.
That was cool to see.
I love watching Sauer Patrick Mahomes face, though.
That was great.
I don't know if he would have, if he would have lost in the same way Brady did in
like a shootout.
but when you get your butt whoop like that,
I think you kind of just got a hand to them.
Mentally,
at that point.
I mean,
the Chiefs probably mentally knew it was over
that first possession of the third quarter.
I know as an athlete Vinny,
you always believe you can write the ship
and fight your way out of it,
but like deep in their,
like,
back of their brains,
they probably went,
damn,
we can't do anything versus defense.
There's blood and water.
Yeah.
Kyle O. says,
who's more loved and bead or hurts?
Easy.
The man with the ring.
It's not close now.
Andrew Pick says,
Amazing season as a transplant to the PNW.
Pacific Northwest.
Oh, that's good work by you.
Thank you.
We were all over that one.
Following PHLY with the Sickos has made it 10 times more fun.
Thank you for all you do and fly Eagles fly.
Thank you.
Thank you, Andrew.
For that, Andrew.
Is that a common?
PNW?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah?
Yeah. I never really heard of them too often.
I mean, Pacific Northwest, but not BNW.
You know a lot about Australia, but you don't know your acronyms quite as well.
I do love Seattle.
It's a great city.
Sure.
I've been to Victoria.
It's like when you partaking some DP, dog poop.
My DP went away.
I didn't know where you're going to that.
Totally different place.
I didn't know where you're going.
And that is not safe for this network.
It's hour three.
Whatever.
After hours.
Idiot sandwich.
says let's get ZB
to commit to a book
tonight. Love, P.H.
L.I. I think the
thought, when we asked Zach about book number
three, I think the thought was already
churning a little bit. Probably already moving in his head a little bit.
He said he's got to talk to the misses.
So wait,
they have a family trip planned. I guess so.
He's not, he's absolutely. He cannot go to the parade.
Yeah, that's right.
Oh, well. He's not leaving.
Emily and Harris.
going Emily and
Paris. Yeah, they're not
he's not not going on that. That's ridiculous.
That would be insane. Yes, right.
It's not like there's media availability after the third.
He's not talking anybody. He'll be on the show.
Yeah, go to Parasac.
Chris M says, okay, here we go. I guess you just
got to move the slider.
Once again, thank you guys.
Made the season so effing special.
Go birds. Go P.H.L.Y.
And go effing birds, man.
Thank you, Chris M.
Thank you, Chris.
Kyle O says,
Mina Kimes is right.
Hertz is a big game performer.
There's no denying that.
That guy steps up when the lights are bright.
No question.
Two awesome super balls from him.
And that NFC title game last week, too?
Like, just ridiculous.
Awesome.
phenomenal stuff.
Tony Important says,
Go Birds from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
I knew that one.
You knew the NS.
Boom.
Love everything.
Y'all do.
Stoke to watch the post game while I calm down and clean up from my family Super Bowl party.
Go birds.
Thank you, Tony.
Ian Rogers says.
Ian Rogers.
All right.
Ian.
Nice.
Jason says, 20 bucks.
Jason, you're the man.
We're transplant living in Missouri.
Two years ago, we went to bed broken as our neighbor shot off fireworks.
Pretty quiet out there.
now we're blasting the blow the whistle until we blow out the speakers tonight go birds go
that's got to be a great feeling yeah when you're an enemy territory like that that is fantastic
enjoy the night jason uh polar jam says who is covered in more champagne beau or z b well the fact that
bow didn't bring it up tells me z b it's z b talking about his uh his uh golden champagne in his mouth
in his mouth.
Very nearly broke me.
That was one of my two favorite.
No, he doesn't even know.
That was one of my two favorite lines.
Probably my favorite, honestly.
I also liked my binoculars got compensated by the Secret Service.
I know that's like two and a half hours ago at this point, but man.
I meant to relay that to Zach and Boe and just forgot because I'm sure they would have enjoyed that.
That was a spectacular line from the professor.
Uh, Marshall says, what's Bo's favorite Robert Altman?
film yeah we'll have to ask them we'll circle back to
tuesday show that one marshal uh daniel mormac says i thank you for an awesome
season and postseason p h ly killed it to fran we need a breakdown on the field goal
penalties please do one online yeah not at the top of your trial try and get to the
try and get to that at some point uh josh mc 83 says effen bird
Philly Boy living in Dallas, Fort Worth.
There go.
DFW.
Look at you.
Got it.
All over it.
We'll be in Las Vegas for a wedding this week,
but my wife and I are flying to P.HLY from Las Vegas and back to the wedding to make this parade.
Wow.
That is a superior level of commitment there.
P.S. Fran, say hi.
That might have been my breaking point.
Say hi.
Sandy.
Say how to Sandy.
Say hi to Sandy.
Say,
I to Sandy.
Does that mean anything?
Do you?
No.
Well, he just said it.
So yeah.
Hi,
say,
hi,
Sandy.
He said it.
Hi,
Sandy.
Uh,
Vincent Pellegrini again.
Zach is not going to the parade.
His code to the building will be shut off for the week.
That is fair.
That,
yeah,
he will still show up to the parade.
He cannot.
How about him?
I know,
I know,
eight hours of sleep.
That's unbelievable.
That's like three nights of sleep for him.
That's not.
That is not.
That is,
legitimately that's like more than he got the rest of the week combined yeah that is that is good
work by him and then the last super chat of the evening from idiot sandwich says bow let's add a moment
of silence for christian ellis there it is there's the moment yeah yeah that's good the chat just
realized that nicholas morrow gets a gets a super bowl ring how about james bradbury being in the team
photo yeah uh you know one guy i thought of tonight that's probably having some big regrets
You talked about of any, you know, kind of chasing the bag, wanting out of here.
Hassan Redick.
That's got to be a little tough to watch that tonight.
Yeah.
I'll tell you what, do we see a, do we see a reunion?
Yeah, thank you.
I like that.
I like that.
Before we get out of here, we were talking about, you know, looming free agents.
Let's just focus on the D-line because they just dominated tonight and they were so vital to this victory.
In your guy's opinion down the line real quick, which,
one's more important if you were
able to keep one let's assume Zach Bonn
and Becht in or Kept or whatever
Milton Williams or Josh Swet
you had to pick one to bring back
because Milton Williams
really emerged this year
I think
it's tough it's real tough
now my boys watch this I ain't picking
that's fair
Rich
I was getting ready to
because both are killer I've been a Josh Sweat fan
since day one
Milton Williams came on
strong he dominated tonight you had to choose one rich who he's choosing to bring back milton he stuck
it to tom donahoe one more time uh for that funny uh draft room video uh how he was right to take
milton williams i think milton just because he's a little bit younger but hey like you know maybe
he gets priced out sure for the eagles and then we bring back sweat i mean amazing job by josh
sweat tonight yeah for awesome um the depth is certainly better at the defense tackle so you could
weather the loss there a little bit better.
But I think I would probably go with Milton,
just because I think he's more of a sure thing
from a medical standpoint moving forward,
a little bit younger.
But you could sell me either way.
I mean, both are really good players, obviously.
So, you know, you'd be in good shape keeping either.
Yeah, I think I'm also Milton, but as a Josh Slet fan,
that's going to be a tough decision to make
because you're not going to be able to keep both.
Hey, Jamie, do they trade or move on from Bryce?
I don't know what they do there
I have to
surprising that he was inactive
that's a tough blow for Bryce off tonight
but you know he
he had a good time when you know
on Instagram live

Welcome Miles Garrett.
Welcome to Philadelphia.
There we have Miles Garrett that would be like, I don't know what the Sequeville version is.
I thought that, but there's going to have to work on that one.

He's got time to workshop it.
Public safety alert.
