It'll be Friday to all. Yes, we made it Friday, Friday, Friday.
I'm Jamie Lynch, joined by Rich Hoffman. This is the P.H.L.Y. Eagles podcast presented by our friends over at Trumark Financial Credit Union, based right here in Fort Washington with 24 area locations all across the Delaware Valley. Find out why it's great to have a credit union in your corner. Visit True Mark Financial.
Rich, hello. What's up, man? It's been a little bit. How you doing?
I'm doing well. I'm doing well. I'm happy it's Friday and I am happy that Zach Berman, who was
Jonesen for some football. He couldn't deal with a day and a half off, as he said, is back on the
practice field with the Philadelphia Eagles rookies. It truly is his happy place with the Novacare
Center. So I'm happy for him that he gets to get down there today and see some of these these rookies
and undrafted free agents. So we will be joined by Zach in a little bit to talk about everything
ongoing today. I saw some
Ty Campbell. I keep doing this.
Ty Robinson. Jihad Campbell.
I keep crossing the two and saying
Ty Campbell, Ty Robinson
said, you know, Matt Ruhl, who was on
the Anthony Gargano show this week, said,
you're joining the best organization in football.
And Ty seemed really pumped about that. And he should be
because Rich, I will never get sick of saying the words,
the Eagles are the gold standard of the NFL.
They are, man. They absolutely are. I don't know.
So, you know, is Matt Ruhl taking a little shot at David Tepper?
Which is probably one of the worst organizations in the NFL.
I would think they'd have.
I mean, I think the Giants are up there now.
But the Giants at least have winning in their past.
The Jaguars, Panthers.
Jaguars over the past, she'll have the stat in a piece since Shod Khan took over.
Even though they've had Trevor Lawrence the past few years, since 2012, the Jaguars actually
have the worst. Is it?
That tracks. In the league. Yeah.
Well, they've had some bad seasons like the Urban Meyer season.
So what a disaster he is.
Yeah. So you were out of the states for actual draft weekend, now back stateside.
What did you think of the Jaguars going and getting Travis Hunter at number two?
And did you catch, was it James Gladstone, the new 34-year-old GMs?
Did you catch his little spiel about going to get Travis Hunter?
Yeah. And I was a little freaked out by it.
Dude, it was so uncomfortable.
He just, it's a lot of like new age tech speak almost.
You know, it felt like he's a, you know, like a venture capitalist or something like that.
Yeah, I don't know.
I mean, I think that was a cool.
It was a cool trade because Travis Hunter has a chance to be one of the coolest football players I've ever seen.
Absolutely.
Right?
Absolutely.
Now, do the Jacksonville, does the coaching staff have a plan for him?
I don't know.
I am a little dubious of the ability to play on both sides of the football in the NFL.
Sure.
But at least that was like a cool trade.
I mean, he certainly, Gladstone came from the Rams where they had the FF that FM picks mantra.
And it worked for them.
Yeah.
I don't know about the longevity of it, but it did get them a Super Bowl parade.
So who cares?
And at least they were trading for Travis Hunter.
And they, you know, I don't think Trevor Lawrence is that good, but it's much better than that Falcons trade.
Oof.
Oh.
So for the people that aren't aware you were in Spain, Dorn draft weekend and Zach
and Fran, Julia, Chris, Brina,
everybody that helped out Andrew.
You guys were killing it.
I just like, couldn't be more proud.
It was the best local draft coverage, bar none.
It wasn't even close.
So how were you digesting the draft while overseas?
Were you tied in a little bit?
Were you following the picks?
Were you getting text?
How were you consuming NFL draft weekend?
Just waking up and following it on my phone.
Okay.
Yeah.
Out of sight.
Yeah, out of my, you know, it was cool, though.
I like that for two years,
a row here. The Eagles in the first round have made what I would consider a cool fun pick.
Absolutely. They usually go boring and I say that as a compliment because
defensive lines usually kind of boring. And defensive line can also be pretty boring. But it's also
how you win football games in large part. But the Eagles both years, you know, last year was it
offensive tackle of the future or was it cornerback? They gave us not only one cornerback.
They gave us two and they both were awesome right away. And so maybe how we took a lesson there and
like, hey, you know what? I might as well get the linebacker who we have in the top 10 on our
board. Did you see, I believe it was ESPN's Field Yates. He had, uh, yeah, when he, I did see this.
Was he on Chris Long? Yeah, I think it was on Chris Long show. Yeah, should give the proper credit
there. But he basically was like, you know, people ask me all the time why the Eagles are so good
at this. And the reason is that they don't draft for need. Yeah. You just stick to your board,
take the best player available.
And I'll be honest,
I joined the guys on draft night
around pick like 14, 15,
because me and Devon were over at J.D. McGillicuddies in Mannyunk,
having some delicious cutty wings and Papps lights.
And they were like,
so who are you guys thinking?
Who do you want?
And I'll be honest,
Jihad Campbell wasn't even a guy I considered
because I figured he would probably be gone.
And even if he was available,
I was like,
they're not going to take a linebacker in the first round.
Now he could end up being an edge rusher.
Now Fran has heard linebacker to start,
which makes sense because Nikobe Dean is probably going to miss,
you know, 75, 80% of the season, whatever it ends up being.
So it makes sense for him to start there, maybe transition.
But he wasn't even a guy I was thinking of
because I didn't think they would do it.
I didn't think he was going to.
And in hindsight, it's like, duh, if he was on the board,
it's a very obvious pick for the birds.
Well, and like you said, too, you know,
we talked about how it's not initially a premed,
position. But if he does
follow the Micah Parsons
Abdul Carter track, then
yeah, it will be a premium position. Yeah,
he's just a fun player. And I'm
super excited to see, even if he starts
at linebacker, like think about all of
those overhang blitzes that they had
with Zach Bond during the season. They can do it
with both of those guys, right? You'll have
no idea where the rush is coming from.
Like, Vic will be rushing three
and like the offensive line will have no
idea which three guys are rushing. Yeah, yeah,
it's really fun. I just saw a story today.
I didn't actually get to read it, but it was, I think it was on Bleeding Green Nation.
And it said Vic Fangio, an anonymous NFL exec says Vic Fangio plans to use Campbell and Bonn,
much like Patrick Willis and Navarro Bowman did, were used with the 49ers,
which just means they're going to be everywhere and anywhere.
Like the possibility of these two at linebacker, we went from neglecting the linebacker position.
And I think this just shows the evolution of Howie being able to, you know,
admit mistakes, adapt with the times,
realize the linebacker position is actually important.
Now there's serious investment in the line,
at least for this season,
if Jahad becomes a defensive end that changes,
but they care about linebackers now all of a sudden.
And that makes you feel real good about your GM, right?
Like he admits maybe some things I did in the past were wrong,
and I got to get with the times and change here.
Do you think, like, let's say the Eagles win another Super Bowl
in the next four years,
and they're also just one of the best teams of the next four years.
That's 100% on the table.
Oh, yeah, absolutely.
But let's say that happens, and we kind of look back at this run of great defensive football.
Are we going to look back at the end of the 2023 season as kind of the genesis for this where, you know, Kyle Shanahan was putting, uh, forget.
I mean, Christian Ellis was in that game, but I know since Bo is, it's not here.
I'm not going to blame Christian Ellis.
I think it was Nicholas Morrow who was really in a blender.
He was real bad that game.
Yeah, real bad.
That that was the moment where.
He's like, I need some investment in this position.
Nicholas Morrow, I think when Zach and Julia would know,
Zach and Bo did the face of failure of the 20,
like if you had to put a face of an eagle to the failure of the 2022 team,
Nicholas Morrow would have been like the thumbnail.
I think Boe settled on Nicholas Morrow.
Yeah.
Super Bowl champion, Nicholas Morrow.
But it is cool.
So excited by the Jihad Campbell,
doing the flamenco dance in Spain,
making a little sangria and eating some paella and I was yeah did you see the eagles put out an in-house
video too of jihad Campbell his first day at novocare which they they often do where he's kind
of meeting everybody you know two things jumped out to me before you get to your point one brandon
wasn't there cackling to greet him and two coach washburn is a flip-flop man I got a new favorite
coach on the Eagles coach wash is a flip-flop guy so I respected that so the two things that stood out
to me yeah okay yours were probably more astute than no no no no no
They're of the same milk.
Oh, yes.
The two things that stood out to me,
number one,
the bro hug between Jihad Campbell and Bobby King,
the inside linebackers coach,
I mean,
that was.
Oh,
I'll have to go back and watch.
That was like they were being reunited.
Who was happier?
I couldn't tell.
It was like so strong on both sides.
So,
you know,
maybe Z.B.
will look into that and give you,
give you 3,000 words in October about the bond.
Bring you down the bear,
the brohug and Jod Campbell.
the position coach and the new star linebacker.
But the other thing that cracked me up about it was
Jehad Campbell, he walks out onto the field
at the Novacare complex and he like stomps around for a little bit
and he says, this is some good grass.
I didn't see that part. I'm going to have to go watch it.
He seems, it's funny, K. Redd in the comment says Gargano,
don't call him that to his face. He hates that.
Anthony Gargano, it's a generational thing.
His generation doesn't like being called by their last.
names, which is funny because me and all my high school buddies, not a single one of us is called
by our first name. Everybody is a last name. So it's just like... Do you have nicknames? No, it's pretty much
my one buddy is called Goat. He's a Gettner. Other than that, it's mostly just last names. But even that
nickname is based on the last name. So K. Red says Campbell has a great face according to Anthony
Gargano. I would agree, K. Red. I think he's an incredibly handsome young man. And apparently he was
doing a little flirtation with Miss K. Adams.
Oh. She did an interview and apparently Jihad was laying it on pretty thick.
Wouldn't be the first time of K. Adams.
Had some flirting going on. Well, she's always flirting with a sham.
My guy shams. Apparently the question was if Jihad could go to space with five people who
would it be, Jihad had three like right off the bat. What an absurd question. Yeah. And I don't
know who those three were. Maybe this is based off of Katie Perry's trip to the space. Oh, okay.
Maybe that's where it came from. I forgot about that. And then he said,
She got a lot of grief for that.
Who's that her and Gail?
Because she's, I mean, talk about smelling your own farts.
Like the comments were just ridiculous.
Yeah, I mean, smelling your own farts in space, too.
Floating all about, but it's smelling those farts.
Apparently, jihad said to her, I really like your vibe.
Maybe you'd be number four.
So he said he wants to take K. Adams to space with him.
So that's pretty cool.
Unprofessional, John.
But the rest of the draft, you're,
your thoughts, it's your first time reacting
kind of to the draft weekend.
Were you underwhelmed?
Were you just like in a state of,
hey, the Eagles won the Super Bowl?
Nothing really matters.
Did you see like the smart,
the intelligence of moving back in the draft
accumulating more for next year?
Like what were your overall thoughts?
Did you kind of get the feel
that the Eagles thought this wasn't a very good draft?
Absolutely.
That was my big takeaway from the weekend.
Because all they're talking about is
all the picks that they have next year,
which has basically
been the strategy since the start of free agency
because they didn't really sign anybody because they
wanted the comp pick formula
to work out and they have
a bunch of picks next year. What is it?
12, 12 picks or something like that? I think so. I think it was
20 between this year and next when it started.
So I think it's, yeah, something like
12 left. It just felt like
a defensive offseason almost.
And I don't actually mean that in terms of
just drafting defensive players at the top of the trip.
Although that is what happened.
But it just felt like, you know, they're
kind of saving their gunpowder
for for next year.
The,
did you see the Howie quote?
Because they only took Drew McCuba on day two.
Yeah,
I got to get used to calling him Drew.
I've been saying Andrew a lot and I feel like a dork.
Drew McCuba,
because that's what he prefers.
I mean,
it's okay.
It's only been a week since he told.
It hasn't even been a week since.
Muscle memory.
I got to get it in there.
Drew.
Since he told the entire Philadelphia media.
But ZB had that in my head.
So I thought that's nice.
I like that.
Drew McCuba.
Good thing.
Did you see the Howie quote,
though,
they only took Drew McCuba.
day two. And next year, they have four picks on day two. They have one in the second. And then they
have their own third. They have the one from the third. The comp pick from Milton Williams projected.
But yes. And the other one is from the Hassan registered. Wow. That's awesome. So how he was
basically like, guys, this was easy. We're only talking about McCuba tonight. He's like, we're working on
Friday next year. So it just felt like that kind of offseason where they're not trying to
trying to do too much. They're trying to set themselves up for the future and get a bunch of
relatively cheap contributors moving down the line. So not a lot of, it wasn't the most exciting
draft, but I will say, if you're only going to pick two players when you take like a really cool
linebacker slash D.N hybrid, who is a local kid to boot. Just like Hassan Reddick, you know,
right over the bridge. Yeah, that's really cool. And then, I mean, McCuba, even though he was a little bit
of a reach compared to some of the big boards.
Like, I think, like, he has a very fun play style, right?
Like a small guy who just...
He looks like...
I think Matthew McCona Hay's tweet was that he has a hard-ass hat to him,
meaning he's going to bring the boom.
And McCuba looks like a guy that's going to fly around the field,
knock some people's heads around.
Maybe not the most athletic or the proper size,
but plays with that fierce kind of downhill.
I'm going to hurt you determination.
Yeah.
He'd love to see that.
Yeah.
So, like, I think he has a chance to be a really fun player.
and Zeeb and I talked about the other day,
I think that's probably one of the more fun
storylines from Training Camp.
Definitely.
Well, I mean, honestly, both of them
are the fun storyline, right?
That position battle.
Yeah.
What is Campbell doing?
Because I can see the,
I can see the tweets,
you know, like day seven of training camp.
It's like, oh, Jehide Campbell's,
he's going with the edge rushers today.
He's doing one-on-ones against Lane Johnson.
Oh, he beat my lotto on one of them.
I mean.
And then, and then Macuba against Sidney Brown.
And McCollum, I guess the three of them are going to be thrown in there.
Louisine too.
And yeah, Lewisine, of course, from the Vikings last year, another bulldog.
They're just going to throw them all in there for an open competition.
That probably is that and right guard, which we're going to get into today with Zach during the offensive depth chart are really probably.
And whatever happens with tight end, like those three positions are more or less like your only positions truly kind of up for grabs on this team, a sign of how talented they are all over the place.
So it's going to be fun.
Zach Berman is going to be joining us shortly.
But first, before we get to Zach, fresh off the field from his happy place, down at the

Coming up, June 14th, Rich, I know you're a weekend warrior hacker like myself.
We have our second annual Liberty Open.
We're having our golf tournament here.
Hope to see some of the sickos out here.
We're going to be over at Valleybrook Country Club.
Two o'clock shotgun start.
There's going to be PAPS lights all over the place.
It includes dinner and drinks afterwards.
We're going to have some prizes.
and all sorts of good stuff.
So hopefully some of you can join us on June 14th.
For more information, just go to allcity.com,
and you can check out the events tab up there.
And my buddy Frank just signed up with a foursome.
So I'm hoping to meet some more of the sickos.
Shout out to Frank.
And diehards.
Yeah, shout out to Frank.
How's your golf game?
Bad.
Yeah.
ZB did not know what a shotgun start was,
and he was treading very lightly the other day.
Oh, did he think it was a big?
Because, uh,
I think he thought like,
you shoot a gun in the air.
Oh.
And everybody.
Like a 21-21 gun shotgun salute?
Well, I just, I shouldn't say that.
I just think he did not know what it was.
And I'm sure he was open to a bunch of different possibilities.
So you miss this, Rich.
And maybe I'll qualify this today with Zach.
But the Ospreys are going to be this summer.
And we're hoping to do it out on site somewhere and get all the sickos out.
Zach said he would shotgun a beer if quote unquote,
enough people came out to the Ospreys.
So I have to clarify what requires enough,
but ZB does have a shotgun offer on the table.
A beer, that is, not even like a water.
I mean, yeah.
We better run.
Maybe we can get into this with him today.
We better like, I feel like we got to run out the Wells Fargo.
People are just going to be.
It's a binding legal agreement.
Everybody's going to want to see that.
Yeah.
So it happened because Chris, our social media,
Chris was shotgunning a beer every time a Maryland turpin got selected.
Now he did not expect six Terps to get drafted on Saturday.
So he owes us a couple shotguns.
So Zach was uncomfortably watching a lot of shotgun beers happen.
And then six Terps got selected, but he did not shotgun six beers.
I think he only shotgun like one or two on Saturday.
But more Terps went off the board than he expected.
So he was like, I can't shotgun six.
I feel like he probably should have looked at.
at the board.
He knows his turps very well.
Clearly not well enough before he made that deal.
Come on.
Yeah.
But the golf tournament is going to be a good time.
Really looking forward to that June 14th.
Over at Valleybrook, hopefully we'll see you there.
My golf game is not great right now either.
I haven't played much this year.
So we'll see.
We'll see.
I've played many around to Valleybrook before.
Yes.
So as have I.
I feel like Tiger and Augusta with my course knowledge.
Yeah.
Valleybrook.
Apparently Tiger texted Rory after winning Augusta.
Welcome back to the club, kid.
I saw that today.
So hopefully we'll get welcome back to the...
That's what Chris will text ZB after he shotguns his beer.
By the way, big golf news in the Delaware Valley next week.
The truest open.
I had no idea that was happening.
Dude.
That's cool.
Yeah, very cool.
It's very close to my house and I've driven by and the grandstands are set up today in town.
They had like the shuttle stops.
Are you going?
I'm trying.
Okay.
So that's a no as of now.
I applied for credentials too late, like a dumbass.
And my wife really likes golf events.
So she wants to go.
So I was trying to get a pair.
Tickets are a little more expensive than I wanted to pay.
So I'm going to stalk it late.
Sunday tickets are actually the cheapest because it's Mother's Day.
We'll make sure Osprey's tickets are affordable.
Yes, very affordable.
But it should be cool next week to see, you know,
Rory and Scotty and all the big name guys playing right here at Philadelphia Creed Club.
All right.
ZB will be joining us shortly.
from the Novacare Center, Rich.
Let me ask you one more thing about Jehide Campbell.
Yeah.
Just because Zeeb had a tweet today about the new numbers.
Yeah.
I'm not feeling 30.
No, that feels weird.
I feel like maybe, I think I'd rather have a single digit number than 30.
Yeah.
I don't know what's available.
I know it's hard because there are a bunch of guys who retired.
He was 11 at Bama, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, that would be cool.
Is somebody 11?
30 feels like a...
It's a quarterback number.
It feels like a mediocre 90s.
running back to me. Just just not
feeling it. Yeah, it doesn't
send fear. I don't know.
The zero from a linebacker.
I don't know. It feels like
more of a safety number or something, you know?
Yeah. What other numbers we got
here? Drew McCuba, 24.
That works. That's okay.
Yeah, I like that. Ty Robinson, 95.
He looks like a 95. Big boy,
yeah. You know his nickname? No.
The Vanilla gorilla.
Wow. Apparently he sells merch.
I'm not going to touch that one.
on.
I mean vanilla girl.
Yeah.
Well,
if it's a vanilla girl.
And I think he has a pet.
I think a thousand men would be required.
And we will touch on 100 girls versus a one or 100 men.
Apparently has a pet camel.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like that.
Vanilla gorilla and a pet camel.
I'm putting that guy in versus the gorilla.
Yeah, that's good one.
Mac McWilliams, 22.
Perfect.
That's great.
That fits perfectly.
Fran likes him a lot.
he does like him.
Yeah, he thought that was a really good pick by the bird.
So he got me excited about Mac and a great name.
Mac McWilliams?
Great name.
Yeah.
Mac McWilliams and Smile London.
That now,
I believe Field Yates on that same Chris Long interview
was saying that people were high on that pick.
He's like, if you watch this kid,
like he just looks the part, he plays the part,
I guess some Inj Flip a little bit.
I'm just a little curious why a guy who played so much
at Georgia for Kirby Smart was that was available that late in the draft basically.
Yeah.
Has it gone to, has the pendulum swung too far in like the pro eagle territory that now like
every pick gets deemed like, oh, the Eagles did it again?
I'm not saying it's a bad place to be, but like do they get too much praise for every
pick now is my fear.
Completely agree with you.
Now, and by the way, like it's deserved it, right?
Sure.
The last four years of drafting has been unbelievable.
but it kind of reminds me of maybe like 15 years ago.
This would annoy me so much whenever the San Antonio Spurs would make a late round pick.
Maybe not even 15 years ago, like 10 years ago because this is following like Kauai in the middle of the first round.
And people would just be like, oh, the Spurs do it again.
And I'm just like, maybe.
I don't know.
So the Eagles are getting some of that.
You actually like view them critically a little bit.
It's fine.
They're killing it.
I completely agree.
Sure.
But to your point, a stud Georgia linebacker falls to the fifth round for a reason.
It's not even like a Negadelfian trade I have, but I'm just like a little more skeptical than that.
It's very much along the lines of, oh, it's Howie season, baby.
There was a lot of Howie season when they got Alberdow.
Yeah, it was Howie season for, it was Howie two seasons with Alberto.
Yeah.
Anyway, that's my point.
I agree with you that it's probably gone a little bit too far.
Although, you know, these guys could be good too.
Sure, absolutely.
Let's go down to the NovaCare complex.
Mr. ZB is in his happy place today, watching football or some variation of football being played at the Novacare Complex.
Let's welcome into the show.
Let's get a little thumbs up here on the YouTube page for Mr. Zach Berman.
What's up, Zach?
Hey, good to see you guys, and you are right.
This is my happy place.
I joked how awesome it is to be out here on the practice field.
I said, I love the smell of grass.
And apparently people take that to mean different things.
I refer to it, the smell of the NovaCare Complex grass.
Like, I love the, you know, I think of, I think of fresh-cut grass and I think of football.
So that's my interpretation of that.
But I know when I mentioned that to other people, I'm like, man, I love the smell of grass.
You know, that gets taken a lot of ways.
But yeah, I got a chance to see rookies and some tryout players out on the field today for about 25 minutes stretching
individual workouts. More importantly,
I had a chance to talk to eight of the 10 draft picks before practice.
So my first exposure to all of those guys in person.
So, Zach, before we get into all that, it looks like the window is open today.
Yes, I learned from last year, right?
I mean, I'm trying to get better every day, every year.
And I will make sure for now on that window there it is, the famous window there.
Look at that, that window is rolling.
So, yeah.
And also, sorry, Joe, I was a little too close to the computer there.
You're excited.
Football is probably better kind of there.
I am excited.
Yeah, exactly.
I mean, I don't think anyone gets more jacked up for rookie minicamp than I do.
I was telling the, I was telling kids this morning how excited I am for rookie minicamp.
And they were unmoved by my excitement.
All right, Zach, so let's start because I do want to ask you about one of these tryout kids.
let's start with the press conferences and getting, you know, your first impression of a lot of these kids,
eight of the ten kids were up there on the podium today.
What were your major takeaways from their first media kind of exposure?
Yeah, well, first off, so he said kids, Ty Robinson's man.
I mean, this guy is jacked.
I mean, 24 years old, right?
But, like, you see, I mean, he's put together.
And you can tell that, like, just.
you know, you see someone in person.
And, you know, this is, this is a corn thread.
This is a corn, well, he's from Arizona originally,
but he enjoyed those six years in Nebraska.
They have good corn in Arizona.
Yeah.
No, so, honestly, going down the line here,
getting a chance to talk to Kyle McBoard,
who, you know, he obviously grew up in this area,
very familiar with it.
He spoke about that when he got drafted.
Interestingly, his new quarterback,
His new quarterbacks coach, Scott Leffler, was at B.C.
When Kyle McCord was in eighth grade, and Scott Leffler offered him a scholarship to BC.
And actually, McCord's high school coach of San Jose Prep didn't tell him until the end of McCord's freshman year because he kind of didn't want McCord to get a big head.
McCord wasn't starting at that point.
But him and Leffler kept in touch and actually communicated last year throughout the year three times actually during these series.
Burkues bowling green season.
McCourt also heard from it from Jaylon Hertz.
So, you know, he says he's going to be a sponge to Jalen Hertz.
And him and Jihad Campbell, they didn't know each other well,
but they did play in, you know, some seven-on-seven in workouts in South Jersey growing up.
And so he, you know, he noted how good that is for South Jersey football.
Speaking to, you know, Drew Kendall, for instance,
Drew Kendall said that he's the center.
Eagle stuck in the fifth round, really looked up to Jason Kelsey, right? Even though his father played 13
years in the league said Jason Kelsey was like the most influential center during his lifetime.
He's aware of the center tradition in Philadelphia. So Zach, not to interrupt you, but I don't know if
you caught Baldi with Anthony this week, but Baldi was friends with the senior Kendall and said he saw
him down in Mobile this year, hung out with him one night. And he went back and he really studied the
tape on his son because he had asked him his thoughts. And Baldi deep-deeped
of it and said the best center in this draft?
Yeah, I mean, look, it wasn't a great center draft,
but I could certainly see that in terms of like the natural center.
He's up there and really good career at Boston College.
You know, first team all ACC last year,
handled all the calls on the line of scrimmage,
was in a pro-style offense there.
So that's, I mean, look,
look, Baldy knows a alignment.
So that's how.
I think one thing the Eagles really wanted was,
I'm not to say they forced to pick, but having that natural center as opposed to teaching someone how to snap is totally different.
And so I do think Drew Kendall is going to have a chance to be the backup center for this team and then have some guard versatility just to add some value on game day.
Zeeb, did Jihad Campbell talk?
No, so Jihad Campbell and Drew McCuba, they did their press conferences when they got drafted last week.
So they've already done the podium.
So where did he line up there?
Jahad Campbell.
Yeah, so that's, so Jihad Campbell did not practice.
He was stretching, but that show, he's still recovering from that shoulder.
And, you know, this is going to take time, right?
And I think, you know, Howie Rosam was on WIP this week.
And he went on his media tour to, you know, NFL network or, you know, the Rich Eisen show and Sirius XM.
like and his it's how he is uh in covering howie for 13 years 14 years now i can tell you
that he knows how to convey messages without saying it directly and so for him on all these
stations to point out well cooper the gene he had to be patient last year you know he he didn't
start practicing until training camp last week of training camp you or last week the preseason really
and then he he he didn't get into the starting lineup until week five right that's that's that
That's intentional on Halley's part.
And I do think Hallie was doing that to really emphasize the patient's part of this.
Now, Cooper Jean's injury last year occurred in August or in July, rather, when he was doing some, you know, preseason or summer training, rather.
Jahad Campbell, this was pre-draft.
But I do think it's going to take some time for the Eagles to see Jehad Campbell.
Real quick, Zach, do you think the expectation is he's ready for training?
camp or could that take a little longer than start a training camp?
Yeah, good question.
They've been mum about that.
I don't think training camp's out of the realm of possibility, but maybe for like contact
portions, they slow play that.
We'll see.
We'll see.
I really don't have a definitive answer on Jahat Campbell.
Zeeb, I know that you said the other day that Cameron Williams was somebody you were
interested in seeing.
So did you hear from him?
And what did you see from him during?
the practice. Yeah. Well, first off, at practice, he was playing right tackle. I was curious to
see if they would move him inside the guard, at least at the rookie minicamp. That's not the case.
Spoke to a very mild manner, you know, it didn't have as much to say as like, you know,
let's say Miles Hinton, who, you know, is a little older. It's probably a little more experience
in front of the microphones, if you will. Cameron Williams, he really worked on getting his weight
down.
You know, this is someone who was as much as 380 earlier in his Texas career, 370, 380,
worked with a nutritionist, got his weight down, thought he would go in the second and third
round.
He said that.
So, you know, day two of the drafts was tough for him, right?
But he thinks he's where he's supposed to be.
His offensive line coach at Texas is Kyle Flood, former Rutgers coach, Northeast guy, and is
someone who knows Jeff Stoutland well.
And so Cameron Williams said he heard.
heard quite a bit about Jeff Stoughtland throughout the years.
So, Zach, what other observations did you have from the field?
It's hard to gleam a lot from glorified warmups and kind of walkthroughs.
Anything else jump out to you out on the practice field today?
Yeah, on the practice field, you know, they, so it was, it was my off sent in left tackle.
Lakin, a Vakalani, I'm sorry, Lake and Vakalaki was playing guard.
It's better than I can do.
in the past.
Yeah.
Now,
otherwise in the individual drills,
no,
you don't see much,
right?
You know,
they only had one quarterback today.
They aren't really deep on,
you know,
they had some tryout guys
at skill spots,
but obviously that's not
a position that they hit hard.
They formalized their undrafted rookie class.
So Fran and I spoke about those guys yesterday.
The rookie numbers came out.
there was a lot of excitement for from from from from eagles fans to see these guys uh what what numbers
they have jihad campbell stretching it's number 30 jihad campbell number 30 i don't know it feels weird
yes that was this college number so there's some carry over there from albama to the eagles
but you know as jason kelsey once told me the player makes the number but yes it's it's not uh
it's not traditional linebacker number for sure doesn't buy it oh i think the number has something
now.
So also, you know, Miles Hinton
getting a chance to speak to him before practice
and someone who, you know, actually,
so his father was, you know, what,
an eight-time pro bowler, nine-time pro bowler,
like a real accomplished player in the league.
Miles didn't really didn't know about that
until he was like 13 years old.
He said he saw his father had a big scar on his leg
and he was told that it was from an alligator biting him.
And then he didn't realize until later on
that was actually not from surgery and football.
He said not, he said his father didn't bring up how good he was when he was like a kid.
It wasn't until he was old enough to kind of watch the YouTube highlights and really delve into it.
Myles Hinton says he plays similarly to his father.
He's actually, he wants to become a marine biologist at some point.
George Costanza would be proud there.
Wow. So he was angry that day, my friends.
Yeah, he's really into biology.
he's really into fish.
So he combined those two passions together into marine biology.
Now, I know alligators are not fish, but he will know what an alligator bite looks like
and doesn't look like based on his father's scar.
Did you ask him his favorite fish in the sea?
I didn't get to that part.
I did ask him about the marine biology part of it.
So they always get spooked out when I ask those questions.
You know, I dealt me to the personal one.
had a chance he
smiled Mondin said that
Nicobi Dean reached out to him
like right away and that's the guy
he's kind of really been in touch with
yeah so
Mac and McWilliams has been playing more
outside than slot
now they had their walkthrough today so we'll kind of
see how that goes I'm expecting Mac
to be more of an inside guy
as this progresses
but yeah those were those were kind of
the big takeaways from the group today
all right Zach now one guy
and Jordan Myelotta may have ruined me and my expectations.
Now, he's clearly a long shot of long shots, but he's getting some, he's getting some pub.
And his name is Carson Petua, if I have that correct.
And he is an Australian rugby player who is trying out at linebacker, did some jersey highlight showcases,
and I guess was deemed worthy enough of bringing in and kind of kicking the tires on.
Now we have a picture of them, Julia has.
And I got to say, the first thing that jumps out to me is his arms are just massive.
This dude is jacked.
What did you make of Carson Petua?
There he is.
Look at that arm.
Look at that bison.
That is a wrecker right there.
Yeah.
So what do you think?
11's about to get trucked.
So he's number 59.
He's number 59, 6 foot 1, 243 pounds from South Porte, Australia.
Okay.
did not get, you know, I'll go back and look at the video that I took here to kind of get a better sense.
To the naked eye, nothing really jumped out with, with, with, with, with, with, with, with, with, with, with the two else looking more for the draft picks.
But, hey, I, I, I'm always interested in those stories and I did see it from Jordan my lot.
And, you know, I spoke to Jordan my lot. And, you know, Daniel Failele about, uh, the growth of the game in Australia.
Uh, so I would, I would imagine the Eagles would like it if they could unearth another play.
here. I mean, the best case scenario is they just keep them on the practice squad. How do you think
internally they, I mean, he has to really kind of shine here to make a practice squad even. So
like, I mean, is this, yeah. So is this something where he's just going to bump around to camps
for a couple years until he finally makes it or what? Yeah. Yeah. So for a tryout player,
yeah, like what's the road here? He first needs to make even, he first needs to make the 90 man
roster like needs to sign a contract now. There are certain international.
exemptions you could get.
So perhaps, you know, the Eagles already have an international exemption for
a locking, or a licking by a vacilletly.
And we'll see if they can, yeah, we'll see if they get one for Carson to two.
I'm not sure the restrictions there on that.
But yeah, when you're a tryout player, well, honestly, what you're trying to do is just
impress them this weekend, get them to cut someone from the, from the 90-man roster,
to open up a spot because right now they're maxed out now June 1st they're going to open up the
spot when when Brandon Graham officially retires because Graham's he's technically on the roster
right now Graham he'll come off June 1st but yeah what you're really hoping for if you're a tryout
player is is like just get a contract of some variety so you can get the trading camp
ZB last one for me there is a mini camp tomorrow as well like what's the what's the schedule for
rookie minicamp here
I wish for me, not for me, you know, I mean, I think like, I think if I showed up here for training camp tomorrow, they'll file your straining order against me.
So I, yeah, tomorrow's their second day of minicamp, but it's not a rookie minicamp open to the media.
I'm sorry, not open to the media.
And then they wrap up their first OTA.
I'll tell you exactly when it is here.
You know, it's, it's, it's funny because I have a, a, a, a, uh, it's, it's, it's funny because I have a, a, a, uh,
a joint calendar with my wife.
And, you know, she fills out everything on her calendar.
And on mine, it's just OTA, minicamp, OTA.
So that's, that is like the extent of my interest this time of year.
They have OTA on May 27th and on May 30th.
They have another OTA on June 3rd, on June 4th, and June 5th.
Then they have a day of mandatory minicamp the following week.
June 10th, and that's the extent of their off-season workouts this year.
So hoping before the end of May, I have a chance to speak to Nick Siriani.
Obviously, Vic Fangio, Kevin Patuo, the first-year coordinator.
They'll all speak this spring and then some position coaches and some players as well,
eager to catch up with Jayland Hertz, you know, find out how his wedding was,
among other topics.
but as far as like in the short term here,
I think the big date for Eagles fans is that schedule release coming out on May 14th.
Yeah.
May 14th, Wednesday night.
Yeah.
And I'm sure we'll be streaming a reaction show to said schedule.
Zach, last one.
We haven't really gotten into the offensive depth chart too much today because it's mostly set.
Now, there's two positions that I want to discuss with you before we let you go here.
And that's the two positions kind of up for grabs a little bit.
Obviously, if Dallas got it remains an eagle after June 1st, he is your tight end one.
The other one that's up for grabs, primarily Kenyon Green is penciled in as your starting right guard.
Those are really the only two positions kind of in question here.
Do you have any thoughts on those two positions?
And Dallas Goddard, I know June 1st makes the most sense.
any kind of sense or update on what you think there.
Yeah, so start with right guard.
I actually think that Tyler Steen would probably be the frontrunner at this point.
Now, I think, you know, I think Kenyon Green just has more upside at that spot from a first-round pick,
eager to see if he can win that job.
Tyler Steen has really had two chances now to win the job.
His rookie year and last in this past year and didn't do it either here.
but there is some internal optimism about Tyler's scene.
I think Tyler Steen enters camp as a frontrunner,
but yeah, I do think that race is wide open.
At tight end, June 1st is the date from a like a contract perspective.
I don't think that's really the date for the Eagles.
I think if the Eagles find,
if they found a good trade for Dallas Goddard tomorrow, they would do it.
If they found a good trade for Dallas Goddard on, you know, July 20th, they would do it.
I think it's really trying to see if they can extract some type of value for him.
It's a bit of a standoff.
The Eagles don't plan on paying Dallas Goddard at $14 million.
Dallas Goddard, if he were on the open market this past year,
I think would have been the highest pay tight end in the lead, you know,
in free agency, more so than having income.
So it behoops him to have a price in mind.
Now, what, if they can meet in the middle, we'll see.
I do think the Eagles are exploring different contingencies at tight end.
we'll see how that transpires.
But you are right.
I think more of the intrigue on the depth chart
is some of those backup spots, right?
Who's going to be your swing tackle?
Is it going to be Miles Hinton?
Is it going to be Kendall Lan?
Right.
How does that tight end depth chart look beyond Dallas Goddard?
Is it definitely Grant Calcutteratis?
Is Harrison take it over?
What does wide receiver three look like?
Is Jahan Dotson?
Like, is that definitely his spot?
Or is there someone else who pushes for it?
Whether it's Terrace Marshall
or whether it's,
Anaya Smith or Johnny Wilson is Will Shipley the backup running back or is it AJ Dillon.
So things like that, I think are going to be compelling.
Yes, I think Will Shipley's going to be the backup running back.
I think AJ Dillon is more of a change of a face guy.
I think they're really hoping for more from Jahan Dotson this year.
And I wouldn't be surprised to see 11 personnel like featured even more.
I have Harrison Bryant over over great over Colin Granson and behind, you know, behind Grant.
at this point.
What a sad depth chart that would be.
Yeah, that would really not be great.
Let's not get,
well,
we won't get into the Goddard thing that is that.
Okay.
Zach, as always,
we can read you on all p.hly.com.
I'm sure you'll have a rookie mini camp story up for the good people,
the diehards out there.
But great work as always.
Get back to your family.
Get away from rookie minicam.
You're free.
See you, man.
Yeah.
For anyone in Doyle's down tonight,
I'm at Books and Brews.
I'm speaking at two different bars there.
So have some good drinks and have some good book talk, if you will, as well.
Love that.
Great.
In Doilstown, yeah.
Speaking of beer, Zach, we did have, I needed to qualify one thing here in Bo's absence.
Yeah.
Now, you said if the Ospreys got, quote, unquote, enough people out at it this year, you would shotgun a beer.
I would like to qualify what enough is.
Can we put a number that we have to reach?
for you to shotgun a beer in front of the good people.
Yeah.
I'm trying to make it an ambitious number that will not be hit.
This is just going to motivate the sicko, Zach.
Yeah, I'll tell you what.
I'll put it on Vince.
I need to know what the venue is where we're doing this.
Okay.
So once I know the venue and once I know the capacity of the venue,
then we'll make an aggressive but realistic,
Yeah, chart there.
I'm afraid of that there's going to be video of me shotgunning a beer somewhere on YouTube that I don't want out there.
Like, Seypon Berkeley won the Super Bowl so he can do it, right?
But, you know, I'm trying to be a little image conscious here.
We can confiscate people's cell phones and, yeah, like a comedy show.
Yeah, yeah, like a comedy show.
Yeah, it's like the Netflix.
I like a comedy guy.
It's like, yeah, it's like Dave Chappelle trying out jokes.
They don't let people film that.
Oh, I love it.
I love it.
Yeah.
Every Netflix special that rolls on.
I mean, I'm really in right now with David Lederbin's conversations.
He just had one with Caitlin Clark that I watch.
Oh, nice.
Sure.
Oh, we just look.
That's a good way to end it.
That's a true sicko.
There he is.
There he is.
What else are you watching comedy-wise?
Well, you know what I want?
Emily and I are watching this TV show.
It's not a comedy, but my friends and neighbors
or your friends and neighbors.
Oh, the John Ham one.
With John Han.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Better actor than he is a person.
Is that right?
I don't know.
Oh, yeah.
He's got a bad past.
Hazing incidents.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
All right.
You know what?
I feel bad for watching.
All I know about John Hamm.
Otherwise is what Boe shared with me about him one time.
And I was like, how do you know that, though?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
that I was not aware.
But yeah, watching that.
And then Vince told me to watch The Pit.
I got to check that out.
And then I want to watch,
I want to catch up on the bear.
And then I want to catch up on studio.
And if anyone has any other recommendations,
from now until July 20th,
it's the only time of year when I watch stuff.
So please send them along.

Thanks.
I could talk to Zach Berman forever.
Always keep him too long.
Yeah, yeah.
That's okay.
Yeah.
By the way, one thing he said, I didn't want to, he was cooking, so I didn't want to interrupt him.
Kyle McCord getting an offer for like a college scholarship in eighth grade.
That's wild.
My head would just be even bigger than it is now.
So I went and saw McCord and Marvin Harrison play against LaSalle one year.
And I was on the field.
It was at Wissahick in high school.
And Kyle, I believe McCord was a junior.
maybe he was no I think him and Marvin were both seniors
and I knew this kid was special because
you know when a quarterback rips it and you can hear
like the rip out of the hand
I can hear that from a sideline
and I packed LaSalle prep game and I was like damn this kid's got an arm
yeah no I mean he was good high school quarterback my point is just though that
oh yeah when you're 13 years old and you're like
what are you throwing the ball like three times a game you know you're running like
the Delaware wing team.
Oh, yeah.
You know?
Yeah,
he's been,
he's got an offer.
There was,
I remember when I was playing freshman basketball.
There was a kid who said he had an offer from UCLA.
Oh,
at the prep or something?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And like 70 kids tried out for the freshman basketball team.
And this kid who had said he had an offer from UCLA as if Ben Halland was,
was knocking down his door.
He did not make,
there was like,
freshman team.
There was five days of,
cuts he did not make the second day oh how do you say that I did not check if he
made it to UCLA yeah yeah that's a shame derailed but that that's what it made
me think of because calm court actually had an yes yeah that's pretty crazy so
as we were talking a little TV there was ZB look at this my my buddies from
college the text chains going on so I just happen to look down at it people are
talking about the pit as Zach was talking about the pit that's weird I heard the
like the emergency room scenes it's like a medical
drama. Yeah. Or pretty intense and like
realistic. Yes. I'm not
sure. I'm a little queasy with stuff like that. I want
to watch that. Yeah, yeah. My buddy's
last text says... I can't. I certainly can't
watch that before going to bed. No.
If the pick doesn't win at least
five Emmys, I'm going to burn it all down
is my last text I saw. So apparently that
shows great. I need something happier mindless
before I'm going to sleep. My wife
loves falling asleep to
Cold Case and first 20,
first 48, all those murder mystery things.
I can do law and order just because
the arcs are so familiar.
And really, there's not like a ton of violence on it.
Like, you know, like the body ends up.
You get a cold body.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then they solve the case.
And then they argue about it in court afterwards.
I've been following the Karen Reed trial.
Oh, you have?
Yeah.
Did you watch it?
I haven't watched the doc yet.
I think HBO or somebody just released it.
It's on my list.
But I was reading the case early on online and I started reading a bunch of the article.
So, like, I was pretty invested.
I want to dive into that doc, though.
Really good.
I have not been following the second trial.
Okay.
It's winding down, I think.
It's getting heated.
Yeah.
All right, a couple things to get to before we get out of here, Rich.
One is the future is bright.
Presented by our friends over at Shady Rays.
They have one of the most insane offers in sunglasses,
lost or broken, and they will make good on your offer.
Future is bright.
Carson, I think I said Petua.
I think Zach said,
Patu,
Patu.
I think I threw a little extra Oua on the end.
This kid probably doesn't have a chance to make it,
but I would love to see him make the 90 man roster.
I'd love to take another gamble on an Australian rugby player
with biceps the size of an automobile.
Sure.
I'm pulling for this kid.
I hope he's the future is bright.
Like, Bo camp crush next year.
Just hoping for like, yeah, like a couple training camp reports.
Yeah.
Just give me like one report of this.
Patu's got a little juice.
People don't want to run into Batu.
He's hitting people out there.
I would love to see that.
So he's our future is bright.
Okay.
Hopefully.
Yeah, we'll see.
Probably not.
He'll probably be playing rugby again in no time.
But it's a fun story.
His future is bright,
regardless of what sport he's playing.
So a long time ago,
before they drafted Maillada,
I remember the Eagles did a media session down in the,
it was really cool event.
They had you in,
and they had different coaches set up
in different areas of the NovaCare.
Howie was in the locker room addressing the media,
and then they had like special teams in the auditorium
and offense here and defense there.
And you got to just like go in and kind of hang out.
They fed you and you got to like do a Q&A with coaches.
And I remember asking, it was like YouTube was like starting to really like boom a little bit.
And my question to Howie was like,
how much are you using like social media and YouTube footage of these types of guys out there
in your like evaluations and scouting?
and he was actually like, oh, it's a good question, you know,
we actually use it a little bit more than people might think.
And then like two years later, three years later, they take myelotta.
Now I'm a sucker for the rugby players.
Like, you bring in a rugby kid every single year and just see what he's got.
Sure.
Let's party.
I'm with you.
Yeah.
All right.
Before we get out of here and we're going to go to overtime in a second here,
Julia, can we send it to overtime now or do we have to wait 30 seconds?
We'll send it to overtime.
I did want to get your thoughts on a couple things.
things.
Bill Belichick.
Oh, man.
Since we've laughed spoken,
my man has become kind of a laughing stock.
I think this is like,
elder abuse.
Yeah, I think this is like kind of sad.
I don't,
I'm,
he very might well be like at fault here too,
but it's just,
it's so unbelievably uncomfortable.
And I think the main thing,
Jamie,
is it like,
this was on CBS Sunday morning.
Which was one of my favorite shows.
It still is a good show.
On my YouTube algorithm, they do a bunch of interviews with authors.
It's just like nice, easy stuff.
Positive.
And let's send it to overtime real quick.
And I don't know if you've seen the story.
That is not a confrontational show.
No.
And I think he was the author here because he was promoting a book.
Yes, he's promoting the book.
They do one of those, pretty much every show.
They're just delightful where the, you know, the author kind of talks about, you know,
the process and all those things.
You learn a little background about the guy.
This is bonkers.
It's,
first of all,
like,
I know it's his look
and his style,
but showing up
in a ripped
crew neck sweatshirt
with like pizza stains
on it.
That's crazy.
Two,
to have her,
apparently she delayed,
his look for so long.
It's so weird.
But now that he has
the weird personal stuff
going on,
you're like,
she apparently delayed
taping by a half hour
and was screaming at producers
like offset.
The question about how they met,
there's no doubt
they met on SugarDaddies.
dot com, right?
Because like if they met on a dating app on Tinder or something or at a, like what story could
have been so weird that you won't get into it outside of Sugar Daddy's?
I find the thing so weird.
I just, I don't know, but I, that's where my mind goes.
Yeah, right?
And apparently she dated a 64 year old before she dated Bill and now he's on like a media
tour being like, yeah, she dumped me for Belichick as soon as she met him.
she has an $8 million real estate portfolio now.
Like she's clearly like, I mean probably taking advantage of like if you're his kids,
don't you have to intervene at some point?
I'm very uncomfortable by the whole thing.
I am uncomfortable.
And then did you see the video of her at UNC practice?
I did.
Yeah.
And then the athletic comes out and says she's the one that railroaded the hard knocks UNC thing.
And UNC had to pay $250K for breach of contract.
This is a wild story.
I will say the hard knocks thing, she might have been right about that.
Like, you know, it probably shouldn't be on TV.
Do you think Jordan Hudson looked at Joe Shane and was like, no, don't do that?
Okay, so the rest of the arrangement I'm not so sure about, but, you know,
a broken clock can be right twice a day, right?
It's a very strange story.
The other one I wanted to hit on you real quick with the Shador Sanders,
not the first draft pick ever to be prank called.
Cooper DeGine was prank called last year.
Apparently Kyle McCord said.
Kyle McCord got prank called.
He got pranked a bunch.
Baker Mayfield's own buddies.
Prank called him from the other room of his draft party the night.
He was.
Well, that's fine.
That's just guys being dudes.
That's good stuff.
You know the guy.
By the way, if you were the Falcons.
O'Brien.
If you were that kid,
I can't even imagine.
If I cost my dad $100,000,
like.
So this kid is a moron.
Never film a crime.
What are you do?
Like, I would say I feel bad for the dad,
Is it a crap?
I mean, to steal confidential cell phone information from like, yeah, like I think it probably is, right?
I don't know.
But whatever.
It's bad.
You shouldn't do it.
It's messed up.
What a moron.
100K to your dad's pockets.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
That is a bad look.
So I just wanted to touch on those two things as we send it into the weekend.
Yeah.
I mean, how many times it should have got prank?
She got prank like two or three times.
Was it more than one?
I think this has happened a lot.
I think the NFL is going to have to actually look at this.
And I mean, it's been such a part of draft night for so long where, you know,
you just dial the guy right away.
Like there's clearly a confidential database with everybody's number, right?
And Shador being the story of draft weekend made it, you know,
into this Mount Vesuvius of a story all of a sudden.
And yeah, I think change will actually come from it.
But they got to do something because it got out of control.
Yeah.
Like, look, I was a dumb kid.
Sure. We've all done dumb stuff.
But I would not have filmed prank calling Chodor Sanders.
By the way, I would like to think, I've done done stuff.
I have a heart, like to, this kid has worked for a long time for this day.
It's like probably one of the worst days of his life.
It's a little messed up.
It's pretty messed up.
Yeah.
I can't imagine the rage on my father's face if I had cost him $100, let alone $100,000, let alone $100,000.
Yeah, I can't even imagine what the punishment would have been.
I don't know what you do except like get away from me.
Don't come back home for a little while.
Like just stay at Old Miss.
I don't want to see you.
Probably like you got to pay that off over the.
Yeah, you probably set up a payment plan.
What, what interest rate do you give your kid?
Julius is 50.
I'll give him a 3% interest rate.
I'm not sure.
Jack's Oldrick.
A kid's named Jacks now.
And by the way, another funny part.
Kind of like Collinsworth's kid.
He's Jack with the J.A.
Don't get me started on that.
Jackson, very funny that the New York Giants now have to put in their hopes and beliefs
into a guy that spells his name that way.
Jackson.
My New York Giants buddies on the text story were just like, oh, man, this is the ultimate
like lax bro douche name.
Like, I do not want to support this kid.
So very funny that the Giants now have to support a Jackson that spells it like that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
Look, there's been a lot of stuff.
stuff in the news.
Over the past few days, I think before the show,
we were talking about a little incident that happened in
Prospect Park, Pennsylvania.
Oh, how long? Do we give her a podcast
here at PHLY? Do we broaden our
horizon and bring in the Delco Pooper?
No?
I mean, she's going to have
offers out there. We could start a Bitcoin.
We could get that going. She seemed pretty
charismatic when she... Have you seen her mugshot?
Yeah. She's glowing.
Yeah. She's very proud of her actions.
And as she was getting
perped walked out by the cops.
That's the part I saw. There was some charisma
there. I really like the question
from the guy who goes, what did you
eat today?
That's the investigative
journalism that Zach Berman can
learn a lesson from.
I love living in this area.
I love that I run into
people like this all the time.
It takes so much pride
in that. She's kind of like...
It's so ridiculous. She's like maybe world
famous. Like that went
mega viral.
Volvi.
Making Philadelphia look good.
Thank you.
All right.
That's going to do it for us today.
It is the weekend, everyone.
Jackson Fart.
All right.
Everybody hit that thumbs up button
for the Delco Pooper out there.
On the way out.
Yeah.
On the way out.
Hit that thumbs up.
Just like the Delco Pooper.
Yeah, and she didn't even have to wipe.
It was a clean one, she said.
I hope everybody has a great weekend out there.
We went off the rails a little bit to end the show,
but that's fun.
It's Friday.
Thanks for hanging out with us.
that thumbs up button. Make sure you're tuning in to Zach. Bo is going to be back at some point
next week. TBD there, but Franny Thais will be in and make sure you're watching the guys on
Monday. Thanks for hanging out with us. Thanks to Julia behind the scenes. Have a great weekend,
everyone. We'll see you soon. See you guys.
