What's up, freaks?
It's a B.H. My Eagles podcast on a beautiful.
What day is it?
It's a Wednesday.
Wednesday afternoon, live from the Expedity Lounge, and presented by our friends at Ashley, Bo-Wolf, E.J. Smith, and we're getting into stock season.
It feels like a loopy Tuesday in here today.
I don't know what it is.
It's a loopy something.
What the energy is in here today, but it's going to be a very fun show.
I'm going to go out some pizza.
I'm left over a pito.
He's been like this all day.
I don't know what's going on.
Lindsay and me, it's actually next Monday, I think.
But it's also yesterday.
It's a whole time warp.
Yeah, but we have fun.
We enjoy it.
We have fun.
Not as much fun as Devante.
Oh, yeah.
And who are you going to go over?
I think you were going to spoil something coming in a couple of days on the P.H.O.I. Eagles
podcast.
I don't know what I'm talking about.
I don't know what you're talking about.
We just got done doing.
We saw somebody having a lot of fun.
Oh, okay, true.
Yeah, we don't need to tune in and find out.
We don't know what we're talking about there.
Yeah, the Devante wedding content has been excellent, excellent content.
I agree.
Our listeners will know that I'm not always a big consumer of like the personal life content.
You know, I'm aware of it.
I do like to know what these guys have going on in their lives, obviously.
But I don't usually let myself indulge the personal life content.
quite as much as I have the Devante wedding content.
It's good stuff.
It is really good.
Like the photos are beautiful.
But the photos also tell you the story of the wedding in a way that I really enjoy.
They just put out a video.
A hopeful romantic.
Obviously there's videos of the dancing.
We're going to get into that.
We're really going to get into that.
But the video of DeVante's wife gifting him a car?
Like, oh man, that's incredible.
And did you see the car?
Yeah, I saw the car.
Are you familiar with the term?
Can you believe a 2008 Hyundai-A-Lantra?
It's not that.
Are you familiar with the term?
Do you imagine?
Resto mod.
Do you know what a Resto mod is?
Restaurant moderator.
Nope.
Resto mod is what that car is,
which is like,
it's an old car.
I'm pretty sure it's an early 70 Chevel.
And it, like,
you basically have somebody
completely restore it on the interior.
So, like, the seats are really nice.
It's got, like, technology.
It's got a cool gauge clusters.
It's very expensive,
but very, very cool.
Cool car.
I wish I had that car.
I liked the Devante's,
ogling of it was
Oh, yes.
He was like,
he's like,
that's good.
He looks stressed,
but he was excited.
Yeah.
I do.
Yeah,
we were joking about it,
though,
the idea of,
of the big presentation
of I'm giving you a car
at the wedding,
but it's just a nice,
sensible sedan
that's going to get us
through the next 15 years.
2011 Toyota Prius,
baby.
Thank me later,
sweetheart.
I thought this was going to turn
into him throwing Julia
under the bus for not
buying him a car.
No, listen.
Julia and I got married young, so we weren't
buying each other no cars.
So she got you with some hot wheels?
She probably would have, yeah.
You go with her baby.
Zoom.
Maybe for our 10th anniversary, she'll get me
a Chevy Chevel. That'd be nice.
Yeah, maybe. Yeah, maybe. I mean, she's got a
couple years to figure it out.
Start saving up.
Yeah, it sounds like she's going to be busy
until then.
Listen, she can figure it out.
She's got a
multiple hats she can wear.
Yikes.
All right, what about,
I'm not to not say the joke that I was going to say.
What about your line dancing take?
Do you want to do it now?
You want to hear the line dancing?
Yeah, we're already here.
I've got my line dancing power rankings.
Everybody saw Jalen Hertz doing the line dancing with Devante Smith.
Wearing an outfit my dad wouldn't wear for the record.
That was a pretty,
Jalen.
I thought Jalen was moving well.
He was moving pretty well.
Every time I see Jailen Hertz.
every time I see Jeline Hertz
I feel like a creepy
like boomer
in an office setting with a young woman
because I'm like
I just wish you would smile more
Jalen you're so beautiful when you smile
I mean he does
he seems happy though
the content was good he seemed happy
in the country
perk up girl
you're so sour
are you're so serious Jalen Jalen
I think I said this to you earlier.
I thought it was AI, the video,
because I was like, oh, these two never, like, smile this much.
When you thought it was a fake.
Oh, so funny.
Yeah.
He looks happy in the video.
Looks happy.
I think Jalen is, the aesthetic has changed this summer.
The mustache, the, like, tank to the denim tank top with the jeans underneath.
That's a different look for Jalen.
I think he's getting a little spicy.
Do you think this was, do you think that was a different night?
was a two night event or this was like a everybody had an outfit change kind of situation it probably
is two nights you probably imagine two nights right it's probably like a welcoming party yeah and then the
big reception and then maybe like an after party but is my guess but that looked like a welcoming party
to me yeah I think that's right yeah but still like the denim tank top I told by I told by I described
the outfit to my dad and he was like I don't think I would have worn that one so I think jalen's evolving
a little bit a little jQuery um so I saw people like speculating
about the dancing. Some people
claiming that this says something about Jalen that I could not agree with
less. Line dancing is like a traditional thing in black culture.
I just think that we should just put that out there first and foremost.
And the second thing is he's doing the electric slide.
And I got to be honest and I think it's more telling on my age.
I'm not the biggest fan of the electric slide.
I like an electric slide.
If we're talking line dances, not my favorite.
Boogie, boogie, boogie.
Can you do the electric slide?
live?
Maybe.
I'm about to say.
You're trying?
You're going to happen.
No way.
So, you know, we were having fun this morning talking about line dancing.
And I decided to put my power rankings on record.
Ooh.
I want everyone to know my top five line dances you're going to do at any wedding, but especially
a black wedding.
This is brought to you by.
Wow.
Look at that graphic.
I'm about to say, Lindsay for the graphic.
Look at that.
Fantastic.
I don't know if I've ever looked cooler than I do in this.
I agree with that.
So, number one, easy.
The Wobble.
Have you done the Wobble?
I have, I can't do the Wobble.
No, I have done the Wobble.
That's the Wobble right there.
I did the Wobble.
Shout out to Dave Krueger's wedding.
Oh, shout out Dave.
He's a good Wobbler.
Yeah, Wobble's my favorite.
Simple.
Mike Jones was there.
Oh, shout out.
Mike Jones is such a nice guy.
You're going to say who?
Well, I don't want to play that joke on him.
He's his own man at this point.
He is Mike Jones to me as far as I'm concerned.
Okay.
Shout out to the.
the other Mike Jones, too, though.
So the wobble is simple enough where you can learn it just by watching other people do it.
No, you're misunderstanding me.
It was that Mike Jones.
No, I'm not.
I'm talking about the athletics, Mike Jones.
Yeah, I'm not.
You weren't at the other Mike Jones wedding.
No, I wasn't at the wedding.
He surprised performed at the wedding.
Are you serious?
Yes.
Wow.
Well, you can understand.
Sort of.
I don't know why you would just presume that the athletic.
Mike Jones was at the wedding.
I thought you meant you were at Mike,
the athletics Mike Jones's wedding.
Have you ever seen me interact with him?
Sure.
You guys worked at the same place.
You both are great human beings.
That's a very funny leap to just assume.
People probably don't even know.
No, they do know the athletics, Mike Jones.
A, because he does great work.
And B, because he's gone viral a few times.
Shout out to the athletics, Mike Jones.
What's he gone viral for?
You don't know this, actually?
The Mike McDaniel thing?
You haven't seen this.
Mike Jones, the athletics Mike Jones
like he got called on in the Zoom
and when they said Mike Jones is coming up
Mike McDaniel went who?
Who? Yeah.
Got it.
Okay.
I guess I do remember that.
The athletics Mike Jones.
All right. Lindsay, can you flash the power
ranking back up for us here?
The wobble's great because it's simple.
You can learn it on the fly and I mean
there is just nothing that's going to make you feel
cooler than doing like the primary part of the wobble
where you're like just like rotating your hands in front of you.
That's the best.
part right there. Number two, the Cupid Shuffle. Again, easy. A lot of people can participate.
It's not hard to do the Cupid Shuffle. It's actually probably the easiest. But if you're a good
dancer, the Cupid Shuffle, like you can add some flair to the Cupid Shuffle. So you can really,
you know, kind of make it your own and show that you can still dance. After that, the Chah
Chah Slide, a classic, good, like, I don't even know, is that 80s music, 70s music, just great
music, great, great dance. Another one, not hard to learn. You can do it.
The kids can do it. They can get into it.
And then I go to the electric slide.
A little complicated, a little bit like it's of an era.
I won't say it's dated, but it is of an era that makes it a little bit kind of like comes
and goes with the time, although Jalen and Devante, they do a good electric slide.
And then this is an inclusion for my dad, boots on the ground.
I actually don't think I know how to do boots on the ground, but he claims it's a classic.
So that's my top five line dances again.
I'm not saying these are going to be everybody's top five line dances.
but these are the ones that, you know, get me on the dance floor.
This feels, and this is your own list, so you're allowed to have your own list.
Are you going to ask about Cotton Eye, Joe?
No, but it's just, it feels like this is a good reflection of your general recency bias.
I'm not doing a recancy bias.
I have the cha-cha slide in there.
That's not, that's not recent at all.
Yeah, but your top two are the most recent ones.
Yeah, I guess.
I mean, they're also the easiest ones,
which is maybe more where I'm coming from with this.
Okay.
I don't think it's recency bias.
Like, the cha-cha slide, that could have been number two for me.
It's great.
Have you, do you know, have you done the cha-cha slide?
I don't think so.
You would probably know it if you heard it.
Oh, I know it.
Two hops this time?
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Francis, cha-cha-clis in 2000.
Yeah.
I have done the cha-cha slide at some point.
I feel like the Chachaw Slide was older than that.
Yeah, because you're a baby.
Yeah, I am.
I'm not here to deny that.
Cotton Night Joe is a good song, Claire.
We played it at my wedding.
And everybody had a great time with Cotton Eye Joe.
It's not my favorite line dance, I would say.
Respectfully.
You can go Cotton.
Never mind.
You should have just.
I think it was the worst the way you just did that.
Instead of Cotton I Joe, Cotton E.J.
No.
I think that is setting us down right.
Now you understand why.
Why respect.
We didn't go there.
Yeah.
We have a lot of the cotton I Joe on the dance floor.
That's like we brought to you by Eli Whitney as we had to break.
Oh, man.
And on the other side, it feels like a Tuesday.
We'll talk about the Eagles players.
in whom we are buying stock
ahead of the 2026 season.

Welcome back to the P.H.L. Eagles podcast, Bo Wolf and E.J. Smith.
And let's get into some Eagles discussion here.
We're going to talk about the players in whom we want to buy stock.
Now, are we talking about, let's set the ground rules for this conversation.
a little bit. Yes. The idea is
you think that a year
from now they will be viewed differently?
Yeah, so I did some
homework on some of the
stock games you guys played a year ago.
You and, uh... Refresh my memory
because I don't remember. You and Zach Berman.
Again, refresh my memory.
Shout to Zach. Don't remember.
So you were leaning into...
What did you say?
Mike Jones?
Yeah, Mike Jones. You and Mike Jones.
You guys were leaning into Zach's like
affinity for the stock market.
So the idea was that you were buying stock for a player that you had to hold for 12 months.
So.
And who was the first person that he bought?
I don't want to.
I believe it was Jahan Dotson.
It was John Dotson.
But that shows you sometimes this time of year, you know, somebody you're bullish on
isn't necessarily going to rise.
You know, you have to thread the needle.
Are you going to buy low on somebody?
You're going to buy high?
Is there any pushback on that buy?
There was. There was a lot of pushback on that buy.
I don't want to be mean to Zach.
He had some good drafts.
I think he had, I think you had Zach Bonn.
Or no, he sold Zach Bond.
He was selling his Zach Bond stock.
Okay.
The stock was a little inflated.
So that shows you that this can be a difficult game.
But we have to hold the stock for 12 months.
Holding the stock for 12 months.
So I feel like we should alternate with this.
Okay.
Now, I'm guessing, knowing you as well as I think I do, that you probably, in your prep for this, came up with a couple tiers and you gave them names.
Yes, I did.
Of course I did.
So, my tears.
Okay.
I've got tier one.
Actually, no, I've got buckets for this.
Oh, a nod to you.
Because the rankings are different than tears.
I fill my buckets with your tears.
You like that, Lindsay?
That was not good.
We were doing so well.
I don't even know what day it is, what time it is?
Like, I can't believe that got you.
I'm so tired.
This is probably the best 18 minutes of show we've ever done.
I was already laughing when you said, oh, Buck, it's in tears way different.
Oh, man.
I think we've been overdue for a show like this.
Crying real tears.
We've been way too serious for late June so far.
Oh, man.
I mean, we needed this, you know?
We needed a loopy Wednesday.
Okay, give it some names.
All right, so I've got buckets here.
Remember, their buckets, not tears.
You're crying actual tears right now.
That's correct.
Buying as much as they'd sell me,
which is players that, I mean, maybe they are,
maybe they're a little inflated,
but I want all the stock I can get.
you know, think of this as your Rikwollen's from the past where I was buying up all that
reekwlin stock before OTAs.
But now was the time for you to sell it?
I didn't say I'm buying Rekwollen today.
I think of it like Rekwollen in the past.
Okay.
And then the next one, I'm going to say sneaky investments.
You know, maybe somebody that's flying under the radar.
You're getting in on the investment before it shoots up.
And then your classic buying low.
There's not a fancy name for that one.
Just a player that maybe is on the way down.
and you're trying to time it so he's going back up.
So again, my rankings kind of mix these buckets together.
Okay.
But yeah, those are the three that I tried to categorize.
Okay.
I will let you go first.
Okay.
I'm not going to get cute here.
I'm going to get somebody on the board I feel really good about.
It is a receiver.
It's not Jahan Dotson, although that would have been funny.
It was Jehan Dotson.
I'm taking Devante Smith.
We've talked a lot this offseason about the leap we expect from Devante Smith.
post-marriage, DeMonte Smith?
What if he goes the way of Carson Wentz?
No, I think he'll actually...
I guess the difference is,
given that he has two children,
he has had sex before.
Carson Wentz listening to the show today,
and he's just like, what?
Why don't I have to get dragged into this?
He does, Damante Smith does have children.
That's all I'll say about that.
So I think, but speaking of him having children, you know, Zach Berman had a good story about this in the athletic.
He has, it seems like he's put on a little bit extra weight this offseason.
It seems like he has gotten a little bit stronger.
I believe, I believe this was like as he was leaving a press conference, he mentioned the dad strength being part of as, you know, his, his growth.
And the thing that you said on a show I wasn't here for, actually, the yards per route run.
for Devante when AJ Brown wasn't on the field.
Now it's a small sample size.
You know, looking specifically at 2025,
it's an especially small sample size you're talking about.
It's like 50 routes compared to 400, 500, 500 routes for other players.
But he ranks fifth in the NFL in yards per route,
realm when age is on the field in 2025.
AJ is not on the field.
When AJ's not on the field, correct.
When you stretch it out further, he ranks 10th since 2022,
and Dallas Goddard ranks higher than him.
Yes.
But I think that is the last year is instructed.
because I think that version of Devante Smith
is the version that
when you talk to people who are around Devante
internally, they believe
that if he had a higher workload, if he had
more targets, you know, targets in line
with Jackson Smith and Jigba, Pooka,
those high volume receivers
in offenses that look like the one that Sean Mannion's
installing. I believe that Devante Smith
can, I mean, it's
maintaining that efficiency is going to be hard.
I think he can get close to that efficiency
even without, even
in a bigger sample, a
So for that reason, I'm buying Devante Smith stock.
This isn't going to be the last time you hear me say it.
I think until training camp, like, you know, the year of AJ Brown was last year for me.
I think this is going to be the year of Devante Smith.
The reason that I do like that stat, even though it's a small sample size,
is because you would think when AJ Brown has not been on the field,
all of the reasons that you're willing to bet against Devante Smith right now
that the defense knows the ball is going to go his way,
that he's going to be the top receiver.
All of those things were in play.
in those situations, and still, he was super efficient,
more efficient than he was without him.
And I think that's because Jalen just is throwing the ball
to A.J. Brown a little bit more often.
Like on a lot of the plays when he's throwing the ball to A.J. Brown,
he probably could throw the ball to Devante
and things would go well.
Yeah, I completely agree.
From this exercises standpoint,
I think there is, stockwise,
I think you need to lean into like the national stock
for Devante Smith.
because I think that most Eagles fans are already buying a lot of Devante Smith stock
and are expecting him to have a monster season.
Like I don't think, I don't think, I think you are kind of with the herd here.
Yeah, I agree.
I think, but when I'm talking about like the Pooka Nakuas and the Jackson Smith and Jigbas,
it's like there are people who believe the only thing keeping Devante from being in that
company is his opportunity.
I'm not quite going that far, but I do think that is like the national.
of it, where it's, these receivers get recognized for being awesome and perfect fits for the
offenses they're in. And it's funny because we've talked so much about Mackay Lemon and his
intangible, you know, his intangible attributes and like some of the things that make him
a great fit for a Sean Mangin offense. Devante is actually like the, like, the materialized
version of a lot of those things where it's like he catches everything. He's got a great feel for
finding the spot in zone coverage and he's honestly better after the catching you would expect
considering his frame. So I do. I think.
think he's due for a big year and you're right.
I think that national recognition
will come with that.
You think this would be the most productive year of his career.
Yeah.
And we have a, we got a...
I know, and I understand that.
Yeah, you got to talk about the targets here.
I think if you guys...
You want to do it? Go ahead.
I don't...
I can't do it.
It's hard being in that chair, man.
Devante Smith, I wonder how many target he's going to have.
Let's take a look.
At the hand you're dealt.
You're sent by our friends at Parks Casino.
Devante Smith, over 120 targets, over 140 targets, or over 160 targets, where are you putting all your chips?
You know what? I'm going to be bold. If I'm going to buy stock in Devante, I'm going over 160. I'm doing it.
Now, you're going to ask me how many receivers have had over 160 targets last season? Five, Pukunakua at 16, Jackson Smith and Jigba at 16.
This is the company I think he's going to ascend into.
So I'm putting my chips in that one.
And I think that the Jackson Smith and Jigba comparisons are a little bit overdone,
but I think it's instructive in this sense in that that offense was run heavy.
And I think that that's what we're going to expect this offense to be.
And so even in that, he still was able to get those 160 targets.
Yeah.
And how much they leveraged his ability to move across the formation
in tandem with that run game.
I think Devante is a great fit for that.
I don't know if you're going to line them up in the backfield
quite as much as the Seahawks would
with the motions with Jackson Smith and Jigba,
but I think they can get really creative with them.
I think that's a fine bet.
Now, you are the one who set the chips here.
And so I am going to be a pedant,
and I'm going to say all my chips on over 120
because over 120 is inclusive of also over 140 and 160.
and I'm not funny doing your own game.
So maybe you should do the
Park one next time.
Listen, you play the cards
that you're dealt.
And so that's what I'm doing.
Oh, man. You know, Danes isn't watching
because he's away.
If Danes are watching it'll watch this in 10 days,
he would be like screaming at the television like,
no, E.J., you did this wrong.
It's fine.
That's the hand you dealt,
presented by our friends at Parks,
Yeah, I think if you're talking just production,
Devante's, it's a good bet that he's going to have the best year of his career.
Yeah.
I will also take a guy who, well, I think people are not going to be surprised for me to back.
This is my guy.
I've been screaming it from the rooftops.
I think there's a real chance that Jalick's Hunt turns into the best player on the defensive line,
which is high praise.
I've talked about it before
on a per snap basis last season.
He was the third best pass rusher
in the NFL in terms of hitting the quarterback,
or third or fourth best.
And you're also getting the ability
to drop into space.
Obviously the hands are nice to have.
You're not going to rely on him
having multiple interceptions again.
But I think he's wired in the right way
to chase greatness.
It's like year 3rd.
three of being in the NFL in only year four or five of playing the position.
I think there is still improvement for him to come physically and just understanding the
game.
I think that Jaleks hunt could be a monster this season.
And I don't think most people around the league even know who he is necessarily.
So if most of my list here are like by lows who I'm looking to just eke out a little bit
of profit on.
Yeah.
Jelix is the one where I feel like I could get some generational wealth if I buy enough.
So what are you looking for in training camp?
Like, do you think the training camp is going to be instructive from him?
It feels like he's a type of player that will pop in training camp if he's going to have
that big year.
I would think so.
Yeah.
A dominant training camp.
But it's hard for the Eddrusters because they're going up against Lane and Jordan Milata.
Yeah.
But I'm with you.
I mean, when we heard from Jalick's hunt during OTAs, he talked about how the game
has slowed down, slowed down for him.
lot. And I know like you hear that from a lot of players, but for someone as explosive as him and
someone who is so new to the position and so new to like putting together pass rush moves,
I think that is really encouraging because he's starting to be able to read the game to complement
a physical profile that is incredibly rare at the position. I know like we've talked about it
a handful of times, but I remember him standing next to Miles Garrett. There's only one Miles
Garrett, but physically he is not overmatched in that type of, in that type of environment with that type of
with that type of company. So yeah, I think that he's got an incredibly high ceiling. And I think we're,
it's funny because when he got to Philadelphia, you could see immediately that like, this guy is
already ahead of where they thought he was going to be. And, you know, fast forward a few years,
he's still ahead of where we thought he was going to be. Okay. Well said. Why we take a break here

Back on with P.H.O.I. Eagles podcast, Bo Wolf and Sneaky by E.J. Smith.
Shout out to CDP. That was a good chat.
Who you got?
All right. I'm going to stick with my board here.
I wanted to get a little saucier here,
but I want to get one of my guys
off the, before I get a, before I, you know, risk losing them.
Okay.
I'm going Morrow Ojoimo.
Now, you know, long-time listeners of this show will know.
I've been so bullish on Morrow Ojomo for so long.
I mean, he was a bull of Kemp crush before you were even born.
And Fran loved him as a draft prospect, but I have recency bias.
I have been the one who implanted my flag on the Ojam O'Amoe Island.
most recently and most effusively.
I don't even remember that.
Remember,
before the season.
Oh, that's right, yes.
You said he was going to be the best
defense attack on the league.
You couldn't believe that I thought he was going to have,
what was it, over five and a half sacks?
And what did he have?
He had six.
Okay.
Which was a lot.
It was a good prediction by me.
He had six just like Devonthe,
Carson Lentz.
Those are the only two people
that come to mind for that.
Yes.
So,
So when I was thinking about the players who I'm like, who could have like a breakout season?
Again, the national conversation too, where maybe they become a bigger part of the, you know,
that national conversation and the recognition that comes with having multiple productive seasons.
And I'm thinking about contract year, Moro at Jomo.
And I'm thinking about the time I spent reporting out a story about Moro in the season and how he is
the guy in the Eagles locker room who walks around and gives people financial advice.
sometimes, you know, unsolicited financial advice, maybe, you know, a financial opportunity that he is
scoping out. He's the guy who is, that a lot of teammates think is going to be an agent when he
retires. So I am sure that this opportunity that he has this year is not lost on him. Now, every
player knows when it's a contract year, but I think for Morrow, the motivation to be like, you know,
I don't want to say like mercenary because that kind of comes with a connotation, but I think
the motivation to make sure that this year
he takes advantage of that opportunity
I think is going to be significant for him
and I think you look at the way he was last year
there's a reason to believe that his play should coincide
with that extra motivation to get paid
this time next year.
Yeah, I think this is another one where
I don't know that he's going to have a better season
than Eagles fans expect
or even than he had last year
but even if he had the same year he had last year
the league is going to know who he, like,
casual fans are going to find out who he is
because he's going to be in the top ten of everybody's
free agent rankings.
Yep.
Like he's going to get $25 million at least.
Yeah.
He's going to get paid.
So in terms of like buying the national Q rating,
I think it's a good buy.
I think I'm not,
I would be hard pressed to think he's going to have a better year than he had last year.
Yeah, he has to have about as good a year as he had last year.
And if he does, if he has,
back-to-back seasons with five or more sacks.
Like, he is going to be, I think he will be,
he will get maybe not quite the deal that Milton got,
but I mean, his numbers will be.
I think he might get the Milton deal.
Yeah, I would say his numbers will be better
than Milton's were with the Eagles.
So, yeah, I think, yeah,
so Fran just says he's getting $100 million next spring.
Buy the stock now, and then when he becomes
one of the best free agents in the class,
because I do find it hard to imagine a world where the Eagles,
there's no world where they can keep Jalen and more at Ojomo.
Like Jalen Carter and Morrow Ojoimo, you have to pick one.
We expect the Eagles will probably pick Jalen Carter.
So for that reason, I do.
I think he's going to become a much bigger name, and I'm getting the stock now.
Okay.
I'm going to wade into the veteran territory where this is not really,
I'm not expecting this to make a huge profit.
And this is also not one where we're going to come back a year from now
and we're going to feel differently about the person.
I'm just betting on a good season, if that makes sense?
A veteran?
Yes.
Okay.
And I think that Dallas Goddard is going to be a little bit more involved in the offense
than maybe we expect because there's so much focus on Mikhail Lemon and on Tavian Wicks
and even Hollywood Brown, who's going to pick up that number two wide receiver slack.
I think there's a very good chance that Dallas Goddard is the number two target in this offense
for Jillen Hertz, not just because he's a very good player when healthy,
but also just because of the continuity with Jalen Hertz,
we know that he quote unquote trusts Dallas Goddard.
And so I think this could be the most prolific season of Goddard's career
over the past like four or five years.
I love the buy for you.
He was on my board because as much as I like was just pounding the table
for Devante's yards per outrun without AJ in 2025,
Dallas's was, his were better in 2024 than Devonte's.
He was at 3.18, which is a lot of.
which ranked third in the NFL that season.
Again, small sample size, but shows you how important he can be for the Eagles.
And then you add that to the Tucker craft under a Sean,
in a Green Bay offense and Sean Manning using multiple tight-end sets.
I think that- And those multiple tight-end sets,
probably being him and Johnny Munt, who's going to be the blocker.
Right.
And Eli Stowers is not necessarily being ready to be a huge part in the offense.
I think, yeah, I think there's an opening for Goddard to have a pretty big year.
And, oh, by the way, like these offenses, there's a lot of evidence
not just to have productive tight ends,
but like a two-way tight end
like Dallas Goddard at least can be
like leveraging that.
I think like he can be like a schematic advantage
that Sean Mannion can really lean on
in high leverage situations too.
So yeah, I really like it.
If it's not, I mean, is there,
I guess my question for you is,
is there a world where Devante and Dallas
can both be stock up by this time next year?
Absolutely.
Okay.
Yeah.
I tend to agree with you.
If Dallas can especially be like the combo tight end,
he's been in his career, that I think will be, like, he will get, he will get accolades just for being
recognized as, like, the, like, the George Kettle type where it's like, this guy is, like, you know,
making a difference in the run game and as a, as, as, uh, you know, somebody who can run after the
catch and create in the past game, I think he, he has that upside for this year.
All right. Who you got?
I'm going to go with one of my, my sneaky buys here.
I'm going to go with Jahad Campbell.
You guys from challengers?
No.
I'm going to go.
Jihad Campbell, not from challenge.
Okay.
Jihad Campbell's a good one.
He obviously had an overwhelming spring because he was out with an injury.
But I do think that, especially from like a national perspective, like the fact that he lost
his job to Nacobie last year, if you, if you're doing like, if you're driving by at 35 miles
an hour on the Eagle season last season, you thought like Jihad Campbell, okay, he had like an up
and down year.
He kind of lost his job by the end of the season.
But he was awesome when he played.
It's not a matter of like his, it's not like his stock ever should have really taken a hit
other than the fact that Nicole B.D. was playing out of his mind.
So if you told me 12 months from now, we were talking about, you know,
the Eagles are ready for, you know, like life after Zach Bond in the future because they have
this versatile chess piece in Jahad Campbell, you just maybe spend a year watching the two of those guys.
You leveraged because of like that versatility.
I think Jihad Campbell could be, you know, considered.
I still think, I feel like you never really levered.
left like the top, what, 25 linebackers in the NFL?
I don't know about that.
I think I'm, I feel fine about Jihad in like the top 25.
I feel okay about that from an ability standpoint.
Again, it's tough because he lost his job, but like,
Zach Bonn, the best linebacker in football.
Nicopi, I think, was probably, I mean, what did Nikobe get paid?
Probably top 10 last season.
I think that it's fair to say Jihad's probably top 25.
I feel like there's a big drop off.
That seems a little bit, Rich.
I feel that, well, I'm planting my flag.
on this one. I'm going to be
effusive on Jahad Campbell here.
He has the physical makeup
to be a different player for the team
this season. I think he
probably has as much
variability as anyone
this side of through Maccuba
and maybe because he's got higher upside
than Maccuba does, I think.
And so if he is awesome,
if he is what he looked like that week one
where it's, you know, he's carrying the guy
down the field and the Eagles all of a sudden have
a Zach Bond clone playing next
Zach Bond. Yeah. I mean, that's going to be awesome. Yeah, that's the exciting thing about him is he has
the upside to be a true difference-making linebacker. And maybe that's why I rate him higher, because I feel
like that is like what I would want in a linebacker. Okay. I'm going to buy a stock that could not
possibly be lower. And so even if I'm, even if I whiff on this, I'm not losing any money.
Okay. And I just, I think there's an opening for this player to just eke up a little bit.
And that is Ty Robinson.
I thought about it.
Okay.
Now, right now,
Ty Robinson is behind Byron Young
and is taking snaps with UR. Bernard
on the third team on the defensive line.
Of course, last year's fourth round pick
who had a disappointing rookie season,
especially considering the fact that he was 24 years old
when drafted, and part of the reason that you draft him
is because he's ready to play now,
and he wasn't.
But on a team where,
where Morrow is going to leave, right?
And there's an opening for somebody
to take some third down snaps
because Jordan Davis is not going to play 100%
of the snaps ever.
I think if Ty Robinson
just has like the typical year one to year two
body glow up.
Yeah.
And just is okay.
Then all of a sudden he's looking at
being potentially the number three guy
in the rotation next season.
I don't even know
that he's going to get there.
I just think if he plays 15% of the snaps this season,
I've made some money on where his stock is now.
I see your rationale.
The argument for the body glow up is where I got hung up
because it's like the point of drafting Ty Robinson.
I agree with you.
Is that he was supposed to be like ready made.
He was supposed to walk in and be able to give you quality snaps.
I know defensive tackle is a position where it takes longer for guys to really settle in.
But I feel like he's maxed out.
physically.
Like, I don't think he's going to come out, come out this season.
And it's like, my God, so much quicker off the ball, so much more popping his hands.
It's, I don't know.
I thought his seasons were worried.
I think I would have sold Ty Robinson stock last summer.
Yeah.
And now I'm buying the dip.
Yeah, I mean, you're buying it real cheap.
So it's hard to argue too much.
But yeah, I'm a little worried about that one.
All right.
I mean, they do have like a pipeline of these defensive tackles that they, but again, like,
Morrow looked encouraging the year before he had the breakout season.
that I predict.
Maybe it's,
maybe the left on the cutting room floor
from the draft video
is Clint Hurt being,
the reason I'm pat on the table for O-R
is because I don't believe in that guy.
Maybe.
I'm trying to think of where I want to go next.
I think I want to buy low on somebody.
Can I talk out of both sides of my mouth for fun?
If you could do it.
I'm also going to buy low on somebody.
And this guy, like, it's not that he has a bad perception.
Like I think most Eagles fans really like this player.
I just, I'm buying low because I think that this player could sneak in to a starting role.
Even though it's going to go completely against what I just said, I'm buying Jeremiah
Trotter Jr. stock. I'm going to cover the whole range of possibilities.
Yeah. So that's, I guess it's a hedge. It's like no matter what happens, I'm going to come out
ahead. Because as much as, as much as, well, this is smart, strategic.
As much as I do think that Chahad Campbell's upside
makes me excited about where he could be 12 months from now.
I know where Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is at right now.
We watched him all spring.
We watched him for spells last season as well.
And he just has, he's become like the type of player
where if the Eagles were five years in the past
and he was on the roster,
he would probably be one of their more reliable pieces
on the defense in the sense of,
I think he's competent, like replacement level starting lineback.
in the NFL.
And he has all of the things,
it's funny that we talked about,
we don't know if we talked about this on the show, actually.
So I'll save it.
We've talked about cornerbacks,
we did, Sanseh Samuel and Quignan,
being polar opposites.
Jeremiah Trader Jr. and Jahad Campbell
are also kind of like polar opposites.
Like one player is relying on instincts
and feel for the game
and just being in the right places.
And then Jahad Campbell on the other side of it
is just like a freak show,
just a total athlete, still learning,
a lot of those intangible things,
but for that reason,
it wouldn't shock me if Jeremiah Trotter Jr.
like Nikobe Dean, Jihad Campbell at some point this season,
and honestly, maybe there's a world where Jihad Campbell missed his time
and Jeremiah Trotter Jr. plays well.
And then we are talking about his stock being really up
because he's proven that he can start in the NFL.
Okay.
I think that's fine.
I'll give you another penny stock.
You know what?
I'm going to give you a different one.
that's along the lines of the Dallas
Goddard.
Okay.
Where this is a veteran
who Eagles fans think highly of
but is coming off a bad year,
bad two years.
And I'm going to just bet on the bounce back
for the number 26 player on the Eagles 26.
I'm buying a little bit of Jake Elliott stock.
Okay.
Because all it takes for a kicker,
one game winner,
the vibes have turned around.
Okay.
And we have seen Jake Ellis
have bad seasons and then bounce back actually 2023 was an example of that.
Yeah.
The two years that were subsequent to that were bad.
But he's a kicker.
There are vagaries of kickers.
I'm going to bet on a little bit of Jake Elliott stock just to make some dinner money.
I like that because it does seem like proof it year Jake Elliott is the best version of him or at least a better version of him.
because I remember writing that story for the Philadelphia Inquirer at the time in
2023 like can the Eagles get out of Jake Elliott's contract and you know they would
be glad that they didn't at the very very least for what they accomplished between
then and now I like that one I actually it's funny you mentioned Jake Elliott I watched
a YouTube video and I can't remember who it was so I'm going to have to look it up during
the break of him playing golf with like one of the YouTube golfers you know trying to get
some story ideas out of it and I'll I
I mean, we're deep enough in the podcast now,
although there probably is at least one Eagles beat reporter
that might listen to this show.
They say, Jake Elliott says that they're really into darts right now
on the special teams room.
Like they play darts constantly,
and he said that they have dart majors.
Have you heard of this before?
No.
Like, I guess they have, like, competitions
that they schedule out throughout the year
where it's like a major.
So I am very intrigued by this.
I'm going to have to ask some questions.
Uh-oh.
You know what, though?
I know what you're thinking.
It's better to say it on the show.
It's like, no, you can't write it.
That's true.
I claimed it.
Well, there are some people on the beat.
Go to break.
Who would like to steal ideas and might pursue this story, do a bad job on it.
Pretend like they didn't hear it at first.
I don't know who you're talking about.
Back with more on the other side on the P.HO. Yagles podcast.
I got a funny story for you guys about Dick Sporting Goods.
I am currently missing my AirPods because the House of Sport in Wilmington, Delaware,

So I see Grace in the chat.
shout out of Cousin Grace.
She says, I have to go to the Dix outlet in King of Prussia because it's miraculous.
Is that the going, going, gone place?
Because I thought that went out of business.
So I will get there if it is open.
I like the House of Sport in Wilmington because they have like trackman simulator bays.
And they just have like everything there.
I could spend like an hour in that store easily.
I could probably spend two hours in that store.
But yeah, Grace, let me know if that place is open.
I will go.
This is weird. You're right.
What are you watching over there?
I think that is him.
Looks coked out of his mind.
Oh, man.
All right.
You'll have to guess who he's talking about.
I'm going to buy another low stock.
Josh Kelly Golf was the YouTube channel, by the way.
Shout out to Josh Kelly.
It was good content.
Go ahead.
This is a player who did not practice in the spring
because he was injured.
good chance for me to sneak in
taking my boy
I don't know
this is a guy who I was all over
in the pre-draft process
I don't think this is who
this is who you're thinking of
me and Fran
the real ball knowers all over him
Cole Wisniewski
seventh round pick
who right now you wouldn't even
you don't even think about him
he didn't even cross your mind
you know what this is
and I think he's going to push to make the roster
and I think he will make the roster
and I think he will be a
stand out special teams player
Colt Anderson
2.0
I don't know, that's the high price.
It can't be better than Colt Anderson, but
Colt Anderson light
as a special teams player
and now
I'm making Hyundai Launcher money.
I mean, you know what this is?
So I didn't do a whole lot of sports better.
Shrewd?
Those are things that we're looking for?
No, no, that's not where I'm going here.
But I...
Crafty?
I decided to take advantage of our friends at Bet365's offers for the World Cup specifically.
I don't like betting on American sports because I feel like, I don't know.
I'm just weird about it.
I think that's all I really need to say.
But the World Cup has been fun.
You know, I'm like, oh, I'll bet on these soccer teams, whichever ones I think will win.
What you just did is like, because I'm all about, like, finding the value.
It's like, oh, like, yeah, I don't want to bet the thing that's obvious.
I want to try and find something that's got good odds.
you just were like, oh yeah, I'm going to take Cole Wisniew because that's great value.
And then you went to see the odds on Bet365 and it's like, oh, this is like minus 200.
No, it's not.
The secret's not out on Cole Wisniewski.
What do you mean?
People know about this guy.
People are excited about this guy.
People watch the show and they know about him.
He didn't even practice this spring.
Yeah, I don't think that anybody, you think that people are like, oh, man, I'm out on him now.
I think, I think you're overreacting.
I don't think they're out on him.
They just don't.
How many people, if you asked a hundred Eagles fans,
even know who he is?
Ask the sickos.
They know who he is.
Well, you can't make the sickos the game when you're drafting Devante Smith.
They pretty much know who Devante Smith is too.
But it's just like you're buying the sock.
The national conversations are not going to be about Cole Wazzycki.
That's what you think.
That's what you're buying.
You don't know what he's going to do.
He's going to have a.
viral moment this season where he spears a guy
in kickoff coverage
and the guy breaks in half
breaks in half blood all over the field
this is your fanfic
he just goes clean through the midsection
like a hot knife through butter
his head's poking out of
this
he just keep going
oh man we were doing well for a while too
not even a flag because it was a
form tackle
form tackle just didn't know a form tackle could hurt that
much.
Yeah,
killed a guy.
Okay,
so that's what your stock is.
That's what you're thinking.
No,
that's the upside case.
I'm just expecting him
to be a good special team's player.
That's the upside case.
Oh, my God.
Listen,
football's a violent sport.
If you can't accept that,
get a new job.
Oh, man.
That's the upside case.
All right,
back over to you.
Oh, my God.
Well,
my next pick isn't somebody
who's going to kill anybody
next season.
You imagine this actually happens
And then somebody finds this clip
And we're just giggling about the fact
And he killed the guy
Like these guys are sick
This is not one you're going to pull up
If he does kill a guy
All right
Markle Bell
Ah, he was on my list
Yeah, I want some Markel Bell style
Yeah, I want some Markle Bell stock
Yeah, this is a sneaky buy for me
Obviously had a pretty encouraging spring
you know, with Chris Cooper wanting to cross-train him,
putting him in with the ones on Lane Johnson wasn't at OTAs.
I think, obviously, the Eagles won't want Markell Bell
to improve his stock in the next 12 months.
Behind the scenes, sure, but they won't want to see him on the field.
But I think in like a Cameron Williams type scenario,
like obviously you don't want him on IR, but a scenario where he plays late in the season
and he looks awesome or looks like, you know,
he's really developed over the course of the season,
I think that there is a chance for him to really improve his stock
and step into the Fred Johnson role this time next year
with like a filled out frame.
If that is what we're talking about 12 months from now,
all of a sudden, or even think, let's say like nine months from now, right?
You know, when we're like talking about the NFL draft,
I thought you were going to make a pregnancy show.
I did think about it.
Okay, yeah.
You're talking about like we're leading into the NFL draft.
And it's like, oh man, did he be?
third child has arrived.
What about Carson Wentz?
So yeah, we're leading into the NFL draft,
and maybe it's like,
Markell Bell might just be the Lane Johnson successor.
I know that that would be a lot,
but again, I think that at the very least,
like the upside play here is that Markle Bell
plays at some point in the season,
again, probably low stakes in the best case scenario,
looks incredible,
and at least is giving you some optionality
as you go into the draft.
Yeah, I think the realistic case is,
he looks like he is an improvement on Fred Johnson
as the swing tackle,
which is, that's high praise.
Which would basically, I think it's like
he looks good at right tackle specifically.
I think it could be left tackle.
I think it is unlikely
that we're going to look at him and think
the Eagles don't need to find Lane Johnson's replacement.
Yeah, I agree with that.
I think that's like absolute total upside in case.
I think what is realistic is
he looks like he is a very capable spot starter
and the Eagles don't have to worry about
Lane's health quite so much.
You know, you want to replace him eventually,
but, you know, you don't need to sign Fred Johnson
because you have Mark Al Bell.
Yep, I agree.
And I think the physique is going to be a big part of it.
Like, we've talked before, he's got the skinny, skinny ankles,
skinny calves.
But again, he's going to be in an ankle.
Skankles.
That was Maddox's sisters, like their dogs nickname,
was Stankles.
I don't know where it came from.
Stinking ankles?
Maybe.
I don't know.
I'll have to ask.
Okay.
But yeah, I think he could look really good at the end of the season,
and yeah, his stock would boost considerably, if that's the case.
My last one is not the most exciting one in the world.
I'm going to go Michael Carter the second.
Oh, I almost want Marcus Epps.
Yeah, well, Marcus Epps right now is the starter.
Yeah.
And I think that it's more likely that he will be the starter than Michael Carter is.
But at the end of this spring, we saw Michael Carter get a few reps.
And I think his versatility does pave a way for there to be a chance that they want
Cooper to June to spend more time at safety, because Michael Carter can play nickel.
But just the ability to flip-flop those two guys could give Vic some ideas.
And I also think there is a chance that he just wins the job.
from Marcus Epps.
And so I think there's a chance that he's flying under the radar
into how much of a part of the Eagles defense in 2026 is going to be.
Yeah, I like that by.
I also liked Mike Marcus Epps as a potential stock up candidate here
because of a lot of the same things you were talking about.
There's just a chance that in 12 months time.
We've shifted the conversation from like, man, like, I wonder what they're going to do
at safety.
That's the big question mark to just like, man, like Marcus Epps really settled in.
And he's just like a competent starter for this team.
So yeah, I like both safety.
Anybody else you want to shout out?
Let's see.
Yeah, I really did want to buy Sean Mannion stock.
We've talked so much about Sean Mannion,
but 12 months time he might just be a head coach.
And for that reason, I did want to,
I wanted to get to him at some point.
It's just like, it's like we've pounded the table for Sean Manion so much.
But I do think he has a real chance to rise his stock.
and then Drew Kendall was another guy who just barely missed on my board as a by low he was
hurt in the spring but I knew that they were bullish on him from last season I thought about
Nolan Smith like it's a possible contract year Nolan Smith but I don't know again not one I
wanted to put on the table for yeah I think I have John Grenard written down I think there's a chance
that he has a monster season and is obviously he's coming off a bad season I have Drew McCuba
written down, which is one where I don't
necessarily believe it, but there's real upside
there. And I think his
stock is what could be
a nadir?
Nadir? Nadeer?
Nadeer? Is it Nadir?
I think it's Nadir.
It's a word I haven't said much, but I have...
I write it a lot. Yeah, let's say it's a good word to write.
Yeah. Now, this is going to bother you?
Yeah. I put
this in, and, well, this is just AI.
It's ruining. Nadeer.
Find out in?
Acme time
Um
And then I also
Who also have run down?
I don't know
That's fine
Um
The gush
The gush
I did not have Rick Wollen
Let the record show
Wow
Because you already bought up all this stock
His stock is up now
I mean I'm probably selling it
And waiting for it to come back down again
Like a stavey
Like a shrewd investor
Yeah
That's you, baby.
I mean, I'm a shrewd investor.
Okay.
You know what?
Actually, I'm not a shrewd investor.
I am just a consistent.
Just, I'm the turtle in the race.
I'm not doing anything risky.
Okay.
No risky, no bisky.
That's not true.
When it comes to retirement savings,
I'm not sure I agree with that.
That sentiment.
Well, and steady.
Okay.
Win's the race.
What else is going on in your life?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
No, you know, just enjoying life.
I got a, I'm trying to, the long time listeners will remember
that one of my New Year's resolutions was to wake up earlier.
And I tried it in January and I just really struggled.
Like, because it sucks.
Yeah.
I hate waiting up waking up really.
It was really tough.
I've also been focused on trying to do it.
I've been doing it.
Guess what?
I'm exhausted.
All day long.
It sucks.
You go, you try to wake up an hour earlier than you usually do.
And every morning I get out of bed and honestly like I'm being a little dramatic.
But it feels like somebody like hit you over the head with a frying pan.
You're just like so like so like disoriented.
And so I have an app now.
I'm not going to give it any free advertising.
We'll see how it goes.
It like tracks your sleep.
And which is a little creepy for the record.
It like listens to your sleep apparently.
I told it not to do that.
But it tracks your sleep.
Go on.
Give it a chance.
Give it a chance.
because it's interesting.
No.
It tracks your sleep and it senses
like when you are coming out of like a REM cycle.
So the alarm,
you give it a 30 minute window to wake you up
and the alarm senses like when you're coming out of that cycle.
So it's a more peaceful waking up experience.
I did it this morning and I have to admit it was,
it was better.
Like I woke up a half hour earlier than I usually do.
Got on the walking pad.
I was reading Kyle's draft coverage.
Kyle at all p.h.i.com.
Yeah.
I had a good, I had a good,
a good wake-up experience this morning with this.
I got outside.
You know, I watered the,
we have a hydranja we just planted.
Congratulations.
That wasn't a euphemism for anything.
I'm just congratulating you.
The thing you should congratulate me on
with the hydrangea is that the flower buds,
you can start to see them.
That thing's going to be so cool.
It'll be awesome.
Congratulations.
Garden, man.
I have to round out my game.
This is, this dates back to before.
I joined the P.H.
I joined the P.H.O.I. Eagles podcast.
Wonderful.
What's going on in your life?
I got some nice messages about your movie review.
Oh, yeah?
Mm-hmm.
People saying they enjoyed your movie review.
I had a guy on Instagram.
I won't name him.
I mentioned that the sad part about the movie.
I can't spoil it, actually.
I can't say it.
But that there's a sad part at the end of the movie.
That made him cry.
Oh, yeah.
You know where it's going.
It's a good.
They deliver well.
Yeah.
He spoiled the movie.
just realized he spoiled the movie for me.
It doesn't really spoil it.
Also watching.
Yeah.
It's in classic D&D fashion.
It's much more about the journey and the different things going along the way.
Beautiful.
Beautiful.
What's going on in your life?
Not too much.
Nothing you want to share with the class?
No.
Okay.
Last thing.
Last thing I want to say is that Fran sent me a meme about House of the Dragon that I've watched
like a hundred times.
And I'm not a big like.
explain a meme to my dad of all people,
68 year old man,
but I explained the meme to him.
It was so funny.
Okay.
So shout out of France.
I finally finished the pit last night,
season two of the pit.
Yeah.
So that show,
people love that show.
That's very good.
I would say,
do you enjoy it as much as the hype?
I like a lot.
It's...
I could watch Noah Wiley
work in a hospital
and be that character forever.
Fantastic.
It just seems too grisly for me.
I'm a little worried.
It's a little grizzly.
Yeah.
But maybe that'd be good training for me.
Maybe.
I got to ask you about that off air, actually.
Oh, you're fine.
I got to take a class.
Oh, this is, I've told this story before.
Here's my, here's, here's my story of when we went to the, this is the birthing class.
Yes, the birthing class, yes.
It was like, you know, it was like a, you could either do it in three sessions or you can do the one three hour thing on a weekend.
It's not three hours for us.
What is it?
It's an.
eight hour session.
Oh, maybe,
yeah,
maybe it was,
maybe it was six hours
or something like that.
It was,
it was a very long day.
So which one did you do?
That you were committing to.
We did the long day.
Okay.
And the funniest thing was,
you know,
they're,
they're going through it all.
And then it's time to show,
to show a video of what it looks like.
Ooh.
You know,
full frontal,
you know,
keep your eyes peeled.
This is,
this is a beautiful thing.
Yeah,
absolutely.
This is life happening.
Mm-hmm.
but they they she shows the video and then immediately after the teacher goes all right time for lunch
and rachel and i in the back just let nobody else thought it was funny we were just cracking up
that that was the lead in to all right everybody go eat oh man it's very funny that no honestly
i think we're going to do the long day yeah do the long day yeah yeah it's hard you know
That's also more of an experience,
then you'll remember it more.
I'm glad you told me,
I don't want to be, like, callous about this,
but I'm glad you told me that the video's coming.
Oh, yeah, they'll show you a video.
Yeah, I got to gear up for that.
You guys didn't watch that in middle school?
I watched it in middle school,
and I remember being a teenage boy
who was, like, shocked by it.
Respectfully, like you said,
beautiful thing.
Michael Vic to Deshawn Jackson with the super chat.
says, happy birthday
to my brother Michael from Chechia.
Oh, shout out, Michael.
Chetcha's got a game today, right?
I think so.
I think they play today.
Yeah, they...
Birthday present.
I think they're part of the...
They're the Mexico's group.
Yeah.
Group A.
Let's see.
Who do they play?
Oh, man.
They're playing right now, potentially?
Google is really letting me down today.
Or they play tonight.
Let me go to my site, FopMob.
Remember Fop Mob?
Chetia play Mexico at 9 o'clock tonight.
9 o'clock tonight.
It'll be a good game.
They need to win that game.
Yeah. Scotland, Brazil tonight is going to be everything I wanted to take.
Looking forward to that one.
Scotland are going to win.
John McGinn's going to score.
It's going to happen.
Look at you flip-flopping on Brazil.
Brazil can lose this game and still be fine.
Okay.
Although they need to finish top of the group.
But how about John McGinn is going to score, but Brazil are going to win?
That's my prediction.
The chat is right that the pit is one way.
where I am open, I, I, the season one rule,
out of the books.
I'm willing to, I'm willing to follow the pit
beyond season one.
Because it's not, it's not a,
it's not like a well-told story in one season.
Are you, how do you feel about the last of us in that,
in those?
Haven't watched beyond season one.
You just, you were just like, I'm good.
Yep.
I can't totally.
No, I didn't like season two.
Season one was the best.
What?
Season one was the best.
was great.
I thought season two was good.
I'm good.
Yeah, but like, it's not like, oh, but like, like, so good.
The first episode of season two.
You should watch just the first episode.
I'm good.
I guess the only thing about it is that it is kind of like, it's the same story,
but it's like totally different people kind of.
Yeah, we can't say anymore.
I think we're going to spoil it.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, I don't even remember all the details,
but I remember it like kind of shifts.
They're on opposite sides.
To some degree, right?
I can't tell you anything about it.
The first episode of season two,
is probably worth watching.
I mean, it's not going to be anywhere near the top of my list.
I'm sorry to say.
That's fair.
Can I get off one House of the Dragon?
I've been during Widows Bay.
I'll probably watch Widows Bay.
Widows Bay?
Yeah, too scary for you.
In-laws told me about Widows Bay.
It's scary?
No, Fran.
I think Fran told me about Widows Bay.
Rose Bay is great.
Yeah, Fran told me to watch it on Netflix on the flight, and I didn't.
So I have to apologize to Fran.
But I was re-watching House of the Dragon, and we've been talking about that.
Yeah, I can watch a scary thing on the plane because I'm not.
not like in a dark room.
I'm just in a plane.
Like what's going to happen to me on a plane?
Well, the plane goes down.
I mean, yeah, but not like a spooky thing in a TV show.
It can't get to me there.
I can watch them on the plane.
Now we've got all got an idea.
I can write the movie plane ghost.
Plain ghost and I can watch that.
What about snakes on a plane?
Things on a plane.
I think I can watch that.
That's not the type of spooky I don't like.
But you're like only about like spooked out when you watch the movie.
Like I'm like, I can't watch any scary movies because then when I'm like going to bed, I'll be like.
I mean, if it's like like the grudge or something, then yeah, I can't watch that, period.
But like I watched, um, uh, what's the one with Tessa Thompson and the other guy on Netflix?
Uh, it's a murder mystery.
Somebody in the chat will know.
Oh, I know what you're talking about.
I forgot the name of it.
I can't watch.
I can't watch that stuff at home.
I'm that much of a limb.
What's that?
His and hers?
His and hers, yes.
I couldn't watch a murder mystery at home.
It's too scary.
But I could watch a murder mystery on a plane.
I couldn't watch Stranger Things, really.
I had to watch that on a plane.
I don't like spooky stuff.
CDP has a question for you.
EJ, who are your top five novelists?
This is a super chat.
I don't have a better answer for that.
I'm not answering it.
I'm sorry, CDP.
I don't have a better answer for that.
You're just trying to get me in trouble.
Okay.
George R.R. Martin.
Five times.
All right, E.J. Smith, getting it done inside and outside of the studio.
Sneaky bye.
That'll do it for this episode of P.H.O.I. Eagles podcast.
Tomorrow we return with another edition of the Eagles 26.
Numbers 22 and 21.
Nailed it.
That'll be a fun one.
Then on Friday, we're going to have a five.
fun draft with the Duff Man, the three of us.
Real, remember some guys episode will be a lot of fun.
For all of us here at PHOI, thanks for watching, thanks for listening.
We will talk to you tomorrow and as always, we love you.
