Hello everybody and welcome to a big episode of the P.HLY Eagles podcast live from the Xfinity
studio and presented by Fanatics and Ashley.
Thank you, EJ. We are here. We got a big show coming your way. What are you firing off a tweet?
I am. I'm rapid fire tweeting. Yeah, got a lot going on. Got a lot of energy going on. Big day. Here we go. It all
starts tomorrow. We're going to be there live at Chickies and Pete's and Marlton. You can
join us still.
Should be a lot of fun.
Both of us.
A lot of tickets sold for that.
Rand Duffy.
Brantley Gouton will all be there.
Very exciting.
We're going to be live throughout the entire draft here on P.H.O.I.
You got Fran's expert analysis and his insider information.
You got EJ's.
Eagles insight.
He's going to tell you what traits he likes.
What old guys he's fond of.
I don't love the old guys.
And you got me getting in the way.
being the best host in the city
don't do that too big show
our final seven round
Eagles mock drafts
now some of us
have scruples
and
approach this ethically
this will be my only
Eagles mock draft
of the entire lead up
this will be your second of the week
how did you approach this
I approach this differently than the last exercise for the, in the spirit of the exercise,
because I do have scruples.
There will not, there will not be any trades up or down in this mock draft.
I will not be moving up in the first round.
I'll not be trading out to get, you know, extra picks or, you know, extra bites at the apple.
That's not to say that there won't be trades, but there won't be trades up or down in this one.
And so why is that distinct from the one that you published on all p.hoi.com?
The first one that I published on all p.hoi.com, which you should all check out, become a diehold.
so you could see because you know listen I do think the Eagles will trade up and down the board so
that was a reflection of kind of getting into the sweet spots for different types of you know
different I guess like buckets of players to use one of your favorite words okay so you're but so are
you going to take credit for both yeah I have totally that's outrageous absolutely outrageous I don't
think that the players that I mean again I don't want to spoil my mock draft that's on the site but I don't
think I do what you think they're going to do yeah I did that already and now here's this this one will be
if they stick and pick,
who I think they'll end up with.
All right.
I think, you know, this guy cannot be trusted.
The good news is I have plugged into the Matrix.
I woke up today with real clarity,
and I know exactly everything that Howie's going to do
over the course of this weekend.
I've got eight players.
I've got five trades.
Howie's going to go crazy.
And I think there's a difference between draft Howie
and Free Agency Howie.
We've talked a lot about Howweed Roseman.
And how oftentimes it for agency, it's like, hey, man, wouldn't it be cool if we did this and out of this guy?
Draft weekend, Howie is on cocaine.
Howie is, oh my God, I think we can do this.
I think we're just, he's got it.
And I have that in mind as I have gone through exactly what Howe's going to do this weekend.
I'm excited to tell you what it is.
It's quite the statement.
Now, I will also tell you, stay tuned because we've got Fran Duffy joining us in a little bit towards the end of the show for Turkey's to the Draft Kingdom, the final.
pre-draft game here on PHLY.
We're also going to talk about some trade possibilities.
Jonathan Grenard is out there as I believe Daniel Jeremiah reported today or said today that
there's an expectation that the Eagles could trade for him.
Cuzz has been banging that drum all week.
So something to keep in my mind.
But I'll let you start first round.
Let's get into it.
The Eagles have the 23rd overall pick.
You have them sticking and picking?
I have them sticking and picking.
Now, do I think that that's entirely likely?
I do not.
But again, I already said what I thought they would do if they were going to move up.
What did you have on the...
On all PHA.com, I had them moving up to take Kenyon-Sadik, moving up to, I believe it was 18 overall
to get a chance of getting Sadiq.
I don't think Sadiq will be there for the Eagles of 23.
He might not be in range for them to trade up for.
I think the same applies for the other players I considered there, which was mostly Kaden-Proctor.
Lessso-Mondro-Friling, but still, I think there's even a chance he goes early.
So if they're sticking and picking, the player I feel the best about being there,
that's still a great pick for the Eagles and a player who I like a lot is Maxi Hanachor from Arizona State,
the offensive tackle.
I think he is the most likely of the group of tackles to be there at 23.
And I don't think that that is a reflection of his upside as a prospect.
It may be more like informed by the floor that he has, but I think he is an Eaglesy type player,
an athlete, a guy who came to football late.
He was a senior bowl standout, which the Eagles have often targeted and prioritized.
And as Fran stated, when we talked to him about the tackle class, like, the one thing about
him is as, you know, former basketball player, does he have the edge?
Does he have the play personality that you look for?
Fran said that he checked that box at the senior bowl, which got me really excited.
When I watched this tape, I just saw a really, really athletic offensive tackle prospect.
The player, in a group of players where I'm not sure a lot of these guys are going to stick
at tackle, I feel confident that he can stick at tackle.
So yeah, I think he's a good high upside swing.
And the right tackle of the future, we'll say, not to Lane Johnson's successor.
Okay.
It would be fun to follow Ehanachur.
He's got the tools.
Tools in his body.
You can hear him have his body.
Yeah.
I think that's a reasonable prediction.
Unfortunately, it's not what's going to happen.
So tell me what is going to happen.
So here's the deal.
We all know that Howie, I think Howie's goal, his dream scenario would be to trade up.
for, to me,
Caden Proctor.
One of the top four tackles.
Really one of the top three tackles, I think.
And I will tell you why.
I think Proctor is probably going to go a little bit too high.
Yeah.
I think Howie would be willing to part with something significant to maybe a future two,
maybe even this year's two, to get up into the top, you know, say, like call it 14-15.
Yeah.
for Proctor.
The weight is something that they have experience working through with Jordan Davis.
I think this is a profile that they are comfortable developing.
Other than that, this is a three-year starter in the SEC,
has unbelievable explosiveness for his size.
This is a profile that they know how to handle.
Yeah.
How do they feel about Monroe Freeling?
This is going to sound really,
stupid. But I really believe this, that as Howie is thinking about all of the elite
offensive linemen that he has had in Philadelphia, you're Lane Johnson's, your Jason Peters's,
Jason Kelsey, Jordan Milata, these are guys, offensive linemen need to be able to fight for everything.
I think Howie cares about kind of like the hard scrabble upbringing from some of those guys.
The fact that Monroe Freeling, I know that this is dumb,
is the son of a doctor and a yoga instructor from the Pacific Northwest.
I think push come to shove,
Howie's not going to move heaven and earth to bring that guy into the building.
I just believe that underneath it all.
Yeah, I mean, you're saying he had two nice of an upbringing.
Yes.
Too well adjusted.
I think, honestly, Howie Rosen might think that.
Okay.
You're saying you think that's what Halley would think, not what you think.
Correct.
This is not, I am not saying.
Trying to shoot you some bail here.
So I think that Freeling is not going to be necessarily their guy.
I mean, I'm just saying.
The Pacific Northwest father's a doctor thing.
Like his mother being a yoga instructor could be a plus.
Like, got great mobility.
You know, look at him in his stance.
He's got great.
I'm sure some team will think that.
Yeah.
I don't think it's going to be a highway.
Okay.
That's fair.
Okay.
That's fair.
So if Proctor is out of range and goes too early and they cannot move up for him,
I also don't think that he really wants to sit there
and settle for the fifth tackle.
And you think he's on a choice that?
I think probably so.
Okay.
Okay.
So what's next?
Sadiq,
I don't think they're going to trade up for Sadiq.
I just don't see it.
It is a luxury position.
It's possible.
There's a real turnkey nature to it
for all the things we've talked about.
I love Sadiq.
You can make the case that it's,
It's both for the now and for the future.
It's an easy skeleton key.
It's fine.
I just, I don't fully believe it.
I don't think that these wide receiver profiles are good enough for Howie to use a first
round pick on.
And so who could be in range, even though I think that Howie wants to attack the offense.
I think there's a chance they're on the clock at 23, or they're not on the clock.
The board is falling.
and there's one player who's still available at 19,
who is a premium position player
and a player who deserves to be a first round pick any year.
And at 19, the Eagles are sending to the Carolina Panthers.
Oh, man.
Their fourth round pick, number 114 and a 2027 third round pick.
And I guess who it is?
And they are drafting Heldrick Falk from Auburn.
and as we will continue,
they will make sure that they attack the offense
the rest of this draft,
but the first round pick
is about a premium resource for a premium position
and they will move up four spots
to draft Keldrick Falk.
I mean, I love the pick. If he's there,
if he's in range for them to trade up for it,
yeah, time me up.
So I think that was well stated by you.
Disagreed with some of the rationale that you had
with some of the other players, but even with that said, if Kenyon, Sadiq and Kate and Proctor
are in range for them to trade up for, I still would feel great about them moving up and getting
Celtric Falk.
I mean, he's the number two player on France Big Board, a player with a really clean profile
and a player that can wear a lot of hats in the Eagles defense on day one and really
develop into a true difference maker on the defensive line.
I love it.
No notes.
I think that's right.
And I think there is a possibility he goes high.
Yeah.
You know, up to 12, but I think he was 22nd on Shrigger's mock today.
I think there's a chance that he is available at 19.
Yeah, if he is, if he lingers, then, yeah, I think that the Eagles will be, should be all over it.
All right.
Yeah.
Would you like to give us your second round pick?
Yeah, I'm going chalk here with what I did yesterday.
I'm sticking with it.
I want, because I want credit for this one no matter what happens.
And I think the Eagles with the, with the, with the 54th overall pick, they're going to take Chris Bell from Louisville.
I think I'm comfortable being the high man on Chris Bell on this podcast.
I really enjoyed watching him.
I think I just, I want to push back a little bit on like your argument that he's not fast and not productive.
I think the injury like severely impacts your ability to evaluate those things.
Like I don't think you can say he's slow based off of watching him.
Now we don't know what he would have run.
But I have never said that he is slow.
Yeah, but I think you have put him in the bucket where it's,
What is it just?
No, I didn't.
No, nothing.
He's just fast.
Yeah.
Okay.
I mean, I think that, again, without the injury, he would have been over a thousand yards.
That's fine, but it's also his fourth year.
And that matters.
Yeah.
I just, I feel a lot better about the profile than you.
I feel a lot better about the, the bit.
I went back and watched those Miami highlights.
Yeah, because that's the game that everybody tells you to watch.
Yeah.
It's a good game.
It looks good.
I mean, it's on the back of two big plays that are nice run after the catch.
Yeah, but that's the thing.
That's the thing with him.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I'm willing to be wrong.
Lots of people love Chris Bell.
Yeah.
I am among him.
I'm not blown away.
No,
I think that I think he is,
he's a first round talent.
The Eagles are going to get the discount on it.
I just think it's so sacrilegious to throw an A.J. Brown comp on the guy.
Well,
I think that I agree with that.
I mean,
I agree that if you are drafting him and saying,
this is our AJ Brown replacement,
it's unfair to the kid.
But I think if you.
If you said that,
if you set that aside, he is the type of receiver you want in this type of offense.
He's a run after catch threat.
He's got a physicality about him in the open field and through the catch point.
He's got strong hands and I think he's got really, really high upside.
So not quite the freakish athlete that AJ is.
And therefore, for that reason, it can be unfair to say like he's the AJ Brown replacement,
but at the same time, he can fill that type of role in the Eagles offense in the future.
And also, like, I don't know when he'll be back.
I don't have, like, great intel on, you know, if he's going to be.
you know, ahead of schedule or not, but he tore his ACL in November, like, I think you'd hope
that you're seeing him by midway through the season. So for that reason, I want to keep it preserved
from last, from my mock draft yesterday to today. I hope, you know, well, I guess you would hope
that he'd be there at 54 for the Eagles. And if he is, I think he'd make a lot of sense for them.
All right. Now, after drafting Kildrick Falk in the first round, what this means is the Eagles don't
now have to trade for Jonathan Grenard.
They can hold on to that capital.
Maybe they'll use that for somebody else.
And it means they're now going to really get to the business of attacking, replenishing the
offensive depth and having an eye on the future, especially on the offensive line.
As we've talked about, tackles in round two, not a good hit rate.
You are really picking the bottom of the barrel.
You're unlikely to get a very good tackle on round two.
And the Eagles are still swinging for real upside here, pro bowl upside.
Tyler Steen is the starter right now, but he's only got one year left on his contract.
Lennon Dickerson, who knows what the future holds.
There's a player available here with a very clean profile who has pro bowl upside,
very good interior offensive lineman.
Now, I thought about Chase Passantis.
I don't think he'll be there.
I was going to say, are you going to say Chase Brac.
No, this is someone who also might not last quite to 54, but we'll go in that range.
a Fran Duffy favorite love him as well
Keelan Rutledge
from Georgia Tech
Eagles land Keelan Rutledge
what
this feels like Fran service
at this point
Fran service is good
I mean you're just
It is not it is not
it is not all Fran's service
There's one other
France service later but yeah
I mean drafting Franz guys is smart
Fran has a great eye for talent
but I don't know
you've accused me of placating people
in the PHOI studios
To be fair these are also players
that I like too
Yeah Keelan Rutledge is great yeah
Yeah, yeah, I like that.
I like, and this is something I mentioned on the show earlier this week,
I sometimes actually go the opposite way where when we look at tackles and it's like,
okay, like, if he has a potential to play tackle that makes him more valuable,
I sort of like don't have an issue with like a high floor, like you know he's a guard,
but he's going to be a good guard.
And I think Keelan Rutledge fits that description.
So I like the pick, especially on day two.
All right.
Keldrick Falk, Keelan Rutledge, the start of my draft.
Maxi Hanachor and Chris Bell, the start of yours.
We will continue on after these words from our sponsor.
All right, we are just over 24 hours away from Howie Roseman's big night
when he has to hunt for the perfect player, fix a weakness on the roster, turn it into a strength,
find the smart pick, and make the trade that takes this team to the next level.
Well, guess what?
You can have that same energy at Elkins Chevrolet because this is where you can make
the smart move, look at what you've got, and figure out what you need at their trade-up event
happening right now. Look at your options and step up and save. You can find the perfect ride
that hidden gem that's going to upgrade your whole day at a great price, whether it's a new
Silverado, an SUV, or maybe even a pre-owned vehicle. This is your pick. Make the trade and
upgrade your ride so you can come out ahead big time. I should have made that move when it was right
in front of me. That's what you'll be thinking unless you go to Elkins Chevrolet and their trade-up
event happening right now, real brothers, real deals, and a whole lot of honking good service at Elkin
Chevrolet on Route 73, South in Marlton. So what? You didn't win? Get back on the horse. Don't be a loser

Back on P.H.O.I. Eagles podcast.
The answer key rolls on.
E.J.'s got a little side show of his own 7th round.
I like this bit, actually.
Eagles on the clock and yours at number 68.
They're sticking and picking, which makes it different.
They're not sticking and picking.
Oh, okay.
They are going to trade.
the 68th overall pick to the Minnesota Vikings.
Wow.
Okay.
I feel like, I mean, listen, there's a lot of smoke around Jonathan Grenard.
The contract is the thing that would give me, well, it has given me pause.
I'm guessing the fact that there seems to be more momentum around this now speaks to the fact that maybe things have changed there.
So I have seen the argument in the chat about like get the sure thing in Jonathan Grenard instead of drafting Keltzur Falk.
I don't know.
I'm necessarily agree with that because of the fact that you're going to have to pay Jonathan Granard a lot of money.
whereas you would have Celtic Falk under cost control.
But again, assuming that in my mock draft,
Celtic Falk was gone, way gone,
you know, gone a lot earlier.
And I think the Eagles do have a needed edge rusher.
I think that they're going to have to,
I think a veteran player,
especially if you're not getting like a blue chip talent
in the first round,
makes more sense to add to that position.
I think Jonathan Gernard is that.
I think he is the type of player
that you put at the top of your eddresher rotation.
You're going to have to pay him accordingly.
but I think it shores up a position that the Eagles need to shore up
and they don't have a lot of other great options.
We can talk about some of the other players.
I've considered in a trade with this type of craft compensation.
But I think that Grenard is probably the best fit.
In terms of play personality, productivity,
obviously last season wasn't his most productive,
but he's got a track record there.
And I just think he's going to have big fans in the building as well.
So I went with Grenard.
But to mention another name, Alex Highsmith,
was someone I considered.
Yep.
A lot of reports, Alex Highsmith and Nick Herbig, or one of them they wanted to move.
I have a harder time seeing them moving Nick Herbig, which is why I went Highsmith,
but both of them are interesting there.
But yeah, for me, I think Renard would be the sensible choice,
and I think it could happen this weekend.
Those two edge guys from Pittsburgh, the other one who I think is a possibility,
especially if the Cardinals end up drafting like Arval R. Velarice at three,
bringing Josh Sweat home?
That'd be fun.
Kind of a howie move.
Yeah.
I wonder what Josh Swett would think about that.
He probably would like it.
Well, there were reports that he asked to be traded.
Yeah.
So I think that's a possibility.
Also in Arizona, just to throw some names out there.
Buda Baker, who has long been linked to the Eagles.
I think that's a possibility at safety.
Also, you know, Marvin Harrison Jr. has been bandied about as like a home run swing.
He's on my list.
He's drafted by Austin for it.
So I think that that's unlikely.
that could be something more like to keep in mind down the line.
Atlanta.
Jesse Bates,
that's a potential.
Yeah.
Veterans safety option.
They've got Xavier Watts and Billy Bowman's their nickel.
They could move him to safety.
I think that's a possibility.
He'd be paying him.
Yeah, he's got,
they would have to move some things around, I think,
in the contract.
It might also have to be post-June one.
Yeah.
Rashad Bateman in Baltimore.
If you're thinking about another potential guy to add to the wide receiver room,
Eon Coleman is an obvious one for like a late round pick
if they're looking for that body type
They've just got like a lot of those like
It hasn't really worked out for him
But let's take a flyer on a type of players
Like Dahl?
Yeah I like Calvin Ridley
I was shopping more in like the Brian Thomas Jr.
Marvin Harrington Jr.
Uh, aisle there.
How about getting Sean Mannion Cooper Cup?
Since the Seahawks re-sign,
Rashid, do they want to pay Cooper Cup?
Possibility.
I always am wary of like the
very veteran receivers in those really great offenses.
Like, you know, it just feels like...
That's to me more just you get Mannion,
the guy who knows this offense.
Yeah.
And then the last one,
this is a bigger swing and unlikely,
but Zabre McKinney,
if the Packers are looking to get off that contract.
Yeah, I like that.
I think Jesse Bates and Buda Baker,
because we'll talk about it.
We'll see if you add a safety at some point.
I think it might be easier to find like a plug-in-play starter.
I mean, it goes without,
It would be easier to find a plug and play starter if you're trading for a veteran there.
No doubt.
There are a couple of the guys I have, but you have to wait and see who those are.
Okay.
So who do you have at 68?
At 68.
I have the Eagles trading down with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jacksonville Jaguars do not have a first round pick, but they have three thirds that they have a second.
So it's actually a perfect match on the Rich Hill trade chart.
The Eagles trading 68 to the Jaguars for their second and third, third round picks,
88 and 100 exactly,
which is the final pick of the third round.
So the Eagles then on the clock at 88,
and they make another trade.
The Eagles trading with the Tennessee Titans,
sending them 88 in exchange for 101,
the first pick of the fourth round,
and swapping two players.
Ghi Lingo goes to the Tennessee Titans
in exchange for
someone Eagles brought in for a pre-draft visit
Last year,
suffered a broken leg this year,
and questions about whether he's going to fit
in Robert Salas defense.
Femiola-Daja!
Oh, I loved Femiola-Daja last year.
Welcome to the Eagles.
And now the Eagles all of a sudden
have a very deep group of edge guys.
When did he go last year?
He was a second round pick.
By a different, by a different regime.
Okay.
And this is also, in theory,
they're drafting an edge in round one.
Okay.
So,
Now that means Eagles are on the clock at 98.
They've got 98, 100, 101.
Four pit, three picks and a four pick span.
The first of those picks is,
someone I told you yesterday, the Eagles we're going to draft,
Markell Bell.
So you've got Keelan Rutledge, competing to start right away,
will be a starter eventually.
Markell Bell is now your Fred Johnson replacement
and be your backup,
and this is a guy who has all the tools to develop into a starter.
I commend your imagination.
It's not a definition.
I have the answers.
This is what's happening.
I really liked Femiola Dejo coming out.
I thought he made a lot of sense for the Eagles.
If you could get him for that value,
yeah, sign me up.
I feel like I'm going to say that a lot about your draft.
But, I mean, you did the work.
I'm commending you for doing the work.
All right.
Yeah.
Final pick of the third round.
The Eagles on the clock at 100.
They've yet to address the tight end position.
They do that now.
They draft Sam Roush from Stanford.
Oh, we're twinning.
little P-H-O-I sports hive line going on here.
Okay.
Sam Roush, good blocker.
And you will see what I'm going to do
is the Eagles also have the first pick of the fourth round.
They're double-dipping here.
They are drafting two tight ends back-to-back.
The first pick of the fourth round will be Justin Jolie.
And so the Eagles going Sam Roush, Justin Jolie,
and all of a sudden now you have real something to build around
at the tight-end position.
Manion wasn't.
there when the Packers did this, but he saw how that worked with Musgrave and Tucker Kraft.
You diversify your bets. You want to be playing, be able to play in 12 personnel. Now you can do it.
You've got two guys who can do different things. So you're not on X, formerly known as Twitter.
I put a mock draft out this morning. You did? I did that literally had Sam Rouse and Justin
Jolie doubled up. I mean, listen, great minds think alike. Now, for my official mock draft,
I only had Sam Rous because I wanted to draft another offensive lineman. So how many, so this is now three
mock drafts you put out the last two days? I just put one out this morning because I was working through it,
you know, trying to drive the conversation. So Sam Rausch at number 98. I love it. I think it is a,
it's a good tight end class. And I like Sam Rauch as a upside swing. And then yeah, Justin Jolie,
I didn't have him. But the thing I like about what you've done here, like you said, diversify your bets,
you feel really good about one of those guys hitting. So yeah, I like it a lot. You want to know who I
had at 114 instead of Sam Rauch. Sure.
Jude Bowery.
This is another one that I had him in my mock draft yesterday.
I have, and I don't want to move off of this.
If the Eagles draft Jude Bowery, I want the credit.
So again, offensive tackle in college at Boston College,
probably a candidate to move inside because of his arm length and his athleticism,
but I think he will be a good interior lineman.
I think he can be the type of positional, versatile player that the Eagles like to have on the offensive line.
and it will give him a clear pathway
to being on the game day roster as a rookie.
So I like Jude Bowery a lot.
He was somebody they had in for a pre-draft visit
and just feels like the type of offensive linemen
the Eagles target in the middle round.
Now, it's time to tell you
the Wawa Wednesday big deal
presented by our friends of Wawaa
because what has happened,
the first two days of the draft
have come and gone
and the Eagles have not addressed
the wide receiver position.
What are they going to do there?
Are they going to just draft a guy in the fourth round?
And hope, is Dantavian Wick's going to be the number two receiver if they're trading A.J. Brown?
No, no, no, no, no.
First thing Saturday morning, news breaks.
Okay.
The Eagles have made a trade.
No picks involved.
Player for player.
They have got on the horn.
Oh.
With a friend of Howie Rosemans, someone who used to be in the building.
And they are cashing in the Tanner McKee chip.
Tanner McKee has been traded in exchange for someone who is not AJ Brown,
but is a starting caliber receiver, a thousand-yard receiver,
and has worked with Jalen Hertz before.
Eagles are sending Tanner McKee to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for Jerry Judy.
And now the Eagles wide receiver room is Devante Smith, Jerry Judy,
Dantabian Wix, Hollywood Brown, and Darius Cooper.
Wow.
So it's straight up.
Tanner McKee for Derrick.
Straight up.
Okay.
What do you think?
I feel like McKee might have been worth a little bit more than Judy on the trade market.
You think so?
My first instinct was that Judy would have to come with a pick attached to him.
Not literally attached to him.
I like it.
The Eagles are clearly trying to add these types of like route artist type
receivers like I would say Don Tavia and Wix falls in that category as well.
I don't love it if I'm being honest.
I was a little bit underwhelmed with the compensation for Tanner McKee, but I do think
adding a solid like number two behind Devante Smith, I could see how you got there.
Okay.
You're allowed to analyze it however you want.
That's what's happening.
And there it is.
The big deal from the weekend.
We're getting ahead of it.
Tanner McKee for Jerry Judy.
that I'll close the book on the big deal.
Henry Judy.
Man.
Different offense.
Were you a Judy guy coming out?
I did like him a lot, yeah.
Eagles probably would love him too.
They'd feel like, oh, like.
I've been underwhelmed with him as a pro.
Yeah, but that's the Eagles type, you know?
All right.
I'm for our next break.
We'll come back and close the book on our mock drafts.
And then after that, we'll bring in Rand Duffy for Turkey's of the Draft Kingdom.
Stay tuned if you want to find out the Eagles final three picks.

back on the PHLY Eagles podcast.
Bowen E.J. E.J.
137. Eagles on the clock. What do you got?
Eagles are on the clock at number 137 and they're making a pick.
Safety Michael Taff.
Oh.
Texas.
Michael Taff.
Michael Taff.
I did not add the second F when I sent it to Lindsay earlier.
That's a bad job by me.
She's all over it too.
I mean, rightfully so.
Yeah.
You got to be better.
Yeah.
to address the safety position at some point.
I liked Michael Taff.
The thing that Fran pointed out that I really liked is that
his player comp is Marcus Epps.
And I think that that type of player has value to the Eagles.
Someone who can contribute on special teams,
that's going to give him more chances to break into the starting lineup at some point
as a special teamer and stay on the roster,
which I think is an important thing on day three.
But I still think he has a pathway to start,
which is, again, something that the Eagles value.
Texas safety?
I like a Texas safety.
Okay.
Yeah.
So, yeah, went with Michael Taff at 137.
All right.
At me, at me, at 137 for me, the Eagles don't necessarily need another offensive lineman,
already having Keelan Rutledge and Markell Bell.
But there's a player who just stands out on their board.
And this is where they can take advantage of a little bit of an injury discount.
The best center on Franz's diehard draft guide.
Connor Liu from Auburn, who's a little bit younger.
You know, you are, they have all the.
one way to give him a red shirt year if they want to.
Real upside.
There's a possibility that the Eagles have now drafted three starters for the
offensive line.
Connor Lou,
Lou's into Philadelphia.
It's like,
Lou World Order.
Hopefully he's healthy.
He will be healthy in time if they need him for to replace Cam Jergens as the
injured center on the interior offensive line there.
There you go.
Yeah, I liked Connor Lou.
I liked what I watched.
I didn't watch a ton of him because I knew he was a center only prospect,
but I liked what I saw.
Okay.
Are you on the board in the fifth round?
I am.
Are you on the board in the fifth round?
I was on the board in the fifth round, but I've made a trade.
So did I.
Well, I haven't.
Howie, Roseman has made a trade.
Howie Rosen has made a trade.
I think we have the same trade here.
Yeah, I'm a little bit disappointed.
You did this, but it's okay.
What do you mean?
Did you act like I did this like to sabotage you?
I teased it on yesterday's show.
I already knew this was happening, but go ahead.
And then what else happened?
Other people have already said it, but I thought of it first.
Go ahead.
I want to hear your pitch for this.
The Eagles are trading.
178 of the fifth round pick
to the Indianapolis cults
for their sixth round pick
that's all it takes
a flop of fifth and sixth
and now that Tanner McKee is gone
Anthony Richardson is in Philadelphia
as your developmental quarterback
I also have an Anthony Richardson
trade I had a little bit
richer than you for the trade
I had them trading 178 and a conditional fifth
next year
okay I think that's too much
I think if you're the Colts you probably want
some kind of condition
on a trade for an Anthony Richardson deal.
Maybe we'll call it an additional six
since, you know, we're sitting here negotiating.
Yeah, I like Anthony Richardson as a reclamation project.
It feels very eaglesy.
You know, call up your old friend Shane Stuyken
and see what you can get done with this one.
Okay.
We have one pick left?
I've got one pick left.
Who you got?
I have the defensive lineman.
O'Hard Bernard.
No school.
You know, Eagles like an international pathway program player.
He is a freakish athlete.
6-4-3606 pounds, a 36-inch arms,
39-inch vertical jump, and 10-10 broad.
I mean, and he ran a 4-5, 6-40-yard dash, I believe.
So just an unbelievable athlete.
And for that reason, I'm going to go with him with their final pick in the fifth round.
Maybe they trade back to actually do this, but yeah, I could see it happening.
It would be fun if it happened.
All right, so give us the full rundown of E.J. Smith's 9th mock draft of the week.
It's my second mock draft of the week.
Not including the one you tweeted.
I mean, again, I don't think that's a tweet.
It's not like I published it.
Okay.
I mean, if you count the ones I sent Fran, I probably am on nine or ten.
Okay.
I sent Fran so many mock drafts.
I sent him the wrong mock draft last night.
I was like, I like this.
And I was like, oh, wait, this was the one I sent you yesterday.
So apologies to Fran.
All right.
Official, official, no trades, up or down the draft board.
Okay.
Machi Hanature in the first round.
Maxihanature.
Max, Ihonature.
Max, he honor,
sir.
Welcome to my life.
This has been happening
a lot before the show.
Chris Bell in the second round,
the wide receiver from Louisville.
Ding!
They're going to trade.
They're number 68 overall for Jonathan Grenard.
They're going to use number 98 overall on Sam Roush.
Number 114, Jude Bowery,
the offensive lineman from Boston College.
Hey, June.
At number 137, Michael Taff,
a safety out of Texas.
At 178, they're using it in a package for Anthony Richardson.
And then with their final pick, one-night, pick number 197,
they're going to draft UR. Bernard.
Who are you?
The international player pathway, high-upside defensive lineman.
All right.
And then what's actually going to happen is the Eagles are going to trade up a few spots
to select Keldrick Falk in the first route.
Then they're going to attack the offense heavy.
Elyleyn Rutledge in round two.
Femio La Dejo for Kili Ringo is a pick swap trade.
You got Markel Bell, Sam Rausch, and Justin Joe Lee.
Tanner McKee is traded for Jerry Judy.
Connor Liu in round four.
Eagles get Tony Richardson, and then they've got two sixth round picks to close it.
Texas Tech Safety Cole Wisniewski.
The one guy in this class who is not a perfect profile for the Eagles,
a little bit older.
but they're looking for somebody late with some starting upside.
Probably just a good special teamer,
but as a pairing with Drew Makuba, not impossible.
You like this guy.
I like him.
Fran likes him a lot.
Charles Davis's favorite player in the class.
Fantastic.
Like a Cole Wisniewski.
And then finally,
just a player who hits the profile of guys they've brought in,
taller and fast,
but not necessarily the most natural wide receiver.
USC wide receiver,
Jacoby Lane is how the Eagles close.
things out there. And now, as much as I'd like you to watch all of our shows over the course of the
next three days, you don't necessarily have to. You know what's going to happen? You know what's
going to happen? Got the answers to the test. There it is. It was a good exercise. All right.
Let's go to our last break. That way we can bring in Fran to find out what he thought of the drafts,
and then get to turkeys to the draft kingdom. If you love the NFL draft, then this is your edge.
High heart NFL draft guide is built and based off of thousands of hours of film study being boots on the ground,
shrine bowl, senior bowl, combine, talking to scouts, talking to coaches, really getting a feel for where these players are best going to fit and project in the NFL.
We're talking hundreds of players in this class.
There is no comparison.
This is the best draft guide for Eagles fans.
You get player comps, you get all the data, and you get Fran's insight.
And here's the bottom line.
there was nobody in the entire world
who was better suited to be an NFL draft expert
and an Eagles expert and my good friend, friend Duff.
All right, so what are you going to find in the guide?
Well, you're going to find player comps.
You're going to find strengths, weaknesses, physical tools, analytics,
highlights, analysis from all across the space,
everything you need to try and determine
who are the best players for your team.
You get access to the guide if you're a diehard
and you'll also get access to a couple of individual breakdowns
I'm doing specifically for your team.
All right, look, if you want surface,
level breakdowns, you can get them anywhere.
But if you want independent thought, if you want thorough breakdowns on all of these prospects,

Back in the PHA Eagle's podcast, Bowen, EJ, and there he is.
You got a fresh cut?
Got the ears lowered a little bit?
Yeah, we're ready to go, guys.
Here we go.
Good to see you, All Cities NFL draft expert.
if you haven't really checked it out yet.
I don't know what's going on with you,
but there's a great deal going on
where you can become a diehard
for the whole year at a great price.
And you might as well do it
because this way you can just have
Fran's diehard draft guide open
throughout the draft
and you're going to get to know
way more about the players
as they go off the board.
Good to see you, Fran.
It's great to see you guys too.
It's been listening to the show.
This is like the 19th version
of Vijay's mock draft
that I've been able to take in
over the last.
The number keeps growing.
Yeah.
Yeah, I thought it was, I thought I liked both of your guys' moks.
Some good ones in there.
Well, it's not as much of a mock as it is just a portal into the future.
Looking into the crystal ball.
Crystal balled eagle, if you will.
All right.
Should we get two turkeys to the draft kingdom?
Let's do it.
Cherkies to the draft kingdom, for those unfamiliar.
This is a game in which we have 12 prompts.
for each of them
we both or all three of us
spread 100 turkeys around
so questions like
will the eagles trade up from 23
stay put at 23 or move down from 23
a portion of your 100 turkeys
appropriately
and at the end of the weekend
we'll find out who has amassed
the most
some people
oh another another one from Vinzi
just busting it out fantastic
nicely done
what you don't like busting it out
I didn't love busting it out
I didn't love Buzzkit out.
I'm sorry.
It's okay.
And here we go.
Can I make one?
Yeah, a lot of people like to down,
like to sort of denigrate turkeys to the draft kingdom
and call it the least prestigious of the pre-draft games.
Yeah, a lot of people do that, yeah.
I think there's a case to be made that it's actually the one that tells you who knows the most ball.
Is it the most prestigious?
No.
I think that Al you know has become the most prestigious.
I don't know.
It's 100 turkeys per.
prompt, right?
Correct.
For the fourth time, I believe, yes.
Listen, if you're asking that question now as we're getting ready to play, that's bad news.
I don't know.
You guys are always so surprised that I need to know the rules of the game multiple times.
It's just, it's part of who I am.
Yeah.
All right.
Let's begin with that aforementioned question.
Question number one.
In the first round, or the Eagles first pick overall, will it be before 23, at 23 or after 23?
Brand, I'll let you go first.
So I went with 43 turkeys for before 23.
Okay.
I went with 35 turkeys at 23.
Okay.
22 turkeys after 23.
Okay.
So you are expecting a trade up.
I'm expecting a trade up.
I just think that a lot of the guys that we are talking about as the Eagles, you know, most likely targets,
Maxi Hancheor not withstanding.
I think you got to move up.
Okay.
I also am expecting a trade-up.
I'm going out a little bit more of a limb than Fran.
I have 70 turkey on a trade-up from 23, 25 on picking at 23,
and only 5 on after.
Go ahead.
I have 55 turkeys on before 23.
Okay.
I got 30 at 23, 15 after 20.
Okay, so we all expect the Eagles to move up just varying degrees of certainty on that front.
Okay.
It feels like you can correct me if I'm wrong, Fran.
It feels like they're going to be swimming downstream to try and move up in the draft if that makes sense.
It feels like there will be teams that want to move out of their spots and the Eagles will be one of the teams that will be aggressive trying to make sure they get somebody that's high on their board.
What do you think, Fran?
I think it's I do think that that's the case and that there aren't a lot of teams that are going to be looking to trade up and so I do think that they're going to find willing partners.
I think the rub is that are you going to be able to find the common ground on value?
Because I do think that most people think it's going to not take as much to move up.
But, you know, if you're trying to make the deal with Jason Light, you know, it's at 15, right?
to make sure you get ahead of Detroit and, you know, whoever else.
Like, is he going to feel that way, right?
Is Dan Morgan going to feel that way at 19?
You know, whoever's feeling your calls for Minnesota at 18, are they going to feel that way?
So I think that it's going to be a little different depending on which team you talk to.
I also think it is the teams wanting to move down is true.
The question is, will there be a guy there who they want to move up for?
And I think that is becoming maybe less likely than the Eagles would have hoped.
Yeah.
Just based on the tackles.
All right, let's do the second round then.
Second round, are the Eagles picking before 54, 54?
Are they moving up in the second round?
Are they staying in 54, or are they moving down or trading it all together?
And their second pick is after 54, EJ, your turn to go first.
I went 25% before.
Turkeys?
Turkeys, sorry.
I went 60 turkeys at.
Oh, okay.
I'm the highest on them sticking and picking there, and I went 15 turkeys after.
Okay.
I also have 15 turkeys after.
and I'm a little bit more closely
bonished on those I have 50 picking at 54
and 35 before 54
how about you Fran?
I was very tight on the before 54
and at 54 so it's 37 turkeys for before 54
okay 36
54 okay and then 27 for after 54
27 for after 54
I respect you sticking away from just fives
and zeros.
Yeah.
What are we doing here?
What are we doing?
We're going to add some work in.
Trying to make sure that I added them all up to 100.
All right.
Next question.
How many picks over the course of the weekend will the Eagles make?
Right now they're slated to have eight picks.
Will they have fewer than eight?
Will they have exactly eight?
Or will they have more than eight?
My turn to go first.
I'm actually going fewer than eight this year.
I think they may be doing some moving and grooving.
maybe it'll include a veteran trade.
I have 55 turkeys on fewer than eight picks
in a draft that I think they don't love.
35 on 8 and on 10 on more than 8.
Over to Fran.
Good reasoning on your end.
I should have taken the veteran trades into account.
So we're already instant regret here on this one.
Now, that's it.
I went 42 for more than...
I could be wrong on this one.
Yeah, well, no, that was good reasoning.
That was good reasoning on your end.
More than 8, 42.
Eight on the nose.
38, fewer than eight, just 20.
Okay.
And by you, EJ?
I have 60 turkeys on fewer.
Wow.
I think that if I expect them to make it move up in the first round,
that's already going to put them behind the eight ball,
then the veteran trades as well.
So I think it's more likely than not that they're going to have fewer picks.
15 on exactly eight, and then 25 on more than eight.
Okay.
All right.
So Fran, we'll be hoping for some day three pick accumulation.
Yeah, grab that up and give him some next.
Which is, as we know from last week, is EJ's worst nightmare because he just wants to get the draft over with his fast spot.
That's right. Hates it. Yeah.
I mean, they're so glad I don't have a separate.
The reporters have been staying there all day.
Our jobs are so hard.
The agony.
One weekend all off season.
Oh, my God.
That is not how I sound.
That is not what I said.
But that's all right.
It's fine.
All right.
Next up.
A very simple yes or no.
over the course of the weekend
and this only goes
through the final pick of the draft
nothing that happens after the final pick
counts here. The Eagles will make
a veteran trade
during the course of the draft
either coming or going any player in the league
on or off the team
yes or no
EJ and O'Fran is your turn to go first
I would imagine all of us are going to be on the
yes side of the ledger here so it's going to be
just the varying degrees of turkeys. I
went 61 turkeys yes 39 no i now i'm wondering if i'm going to be the low man here e j i'm at 70 yes
30 no okay i went 83 yes oh wow 20 no yeah no good game theory we'll see yeah uh all right
this one's a little bit more complicated the position of the eagle's first pick in the draft
we've got five categories offensive line which is inclusive of interior edge wide receipts wide receiving
tight end and other.
E.J.
it is your turn to go first.
The first pick,
what position will it be for the Eagles?
I went 60 on offensive line.
Okay.
There's a wide pool of players it could be.
And there's really only one tight end,
but I gave 20 to tight end.
Wow.
Okay.
I gave 10 to wide receiver.
Okay.
I gave five to edge because again,
I think there's really one that would make sense there.
Okay.
And then five to other,
which is basically the Caleb Downs, turkeys.
That add to 100?
It did.
I made sure to add it.
I don't know.
There are some high numbers in there.
Yeah, I added 200.
E.J., I also have exactly 60 turkeys.
Okay.
On offensive line, unfortunately.
Edge, I have 15 as opposed to your 5.
I think there's fog, but there's also,
if they were to move down, it's possible.
I don't know.
Yeah.
I feel like I'm a little bit high there, unfortunately.
I have 20 on wide receiver.
I do think this is the place where they could zag and surprise us.
I've only got five on Kenyans Sadiq and tight end.
And I've got zero on other in the first round.
I've got zero.
How about you, Fran?
So I anticipated you guys would have zeros on other.
So I actually had two on other.
So starting at the top.
I had 51 on offensive line.
Okay.
That's going to be low, man.
Yeah.
But 51 at O line.
21 at tight end.
21 on Sadiq.
Yeah, I mean, you know, Sadieke, like, it's real.
It's possible.
Okay.
I don't think it's, you know, I think it's a decent chance.
Okay.
I think your thought process with receiver being that high is right.
Edge, I only have an eight.
Eight.
Okay.
And they have two at other.
Okay.
That's interesting.
Yeah.
Now we go to the second pick.
This one much more difficult to predict.
Yeah, this one.
But it's the same position.
breakdowns. Offensive line, edge, wide receiver, tight end, and other. Despite going so high
on offensive line in the first pick, I remain offensive line as the most likely for the second
pick, just because I think if they don't get it, they're going to address it. So I have 41 on
offensive line. Man, wow. I have 27 on edge. Okay. 14 on wide receiver. Okay. Eight on tight end.
and 10 on other.
Okay.
I went 28 on edge.
Okay.
I went 27 at wide receiver.
Okay.
I felt pretty good about both.
Yeah.
I went 21 at offensive line.
Okay.
Tight end I went down to 12.
It was probably a little high.
Other I also had at 12.
Okay.
Yeah.
In my mind,
tight end,
if they don't take Sadiq,
is the third round.
Yeah.
Um, my thought was Oscar Delp.
Yeah.
I think that's Oscar Delp territory.
And if they don't get, if they don't get Sadiq,
Delp is a guy, I think, you know, I mean, I took him yesterday for that reason.
Yeah.
Okay.
E.
I went 15 on O line.
So I'm the low man there.
Okay.
I went 30 on edge and wide receiver.
Okay.
My rationale being, I think I could really see him going edge early on day two.
I think that there's a good cluster of players that, uh, they would hope that make it to them
at that spot.
deny Dennis Sutton being one of them.
I went 30 on wide receiver.
I thought that that one made a lot of sense.
Again, it seems like a good time to get one.
I put 15 on tight end and 10 on other.
Okay.
Yeah.
All right.
Next up.
The highest round 2027 pick,
the Eagles trade away over the course of draft weekend.
The options here, a two or higher,
rounds three or four,
rounds five through seven or none at all.
They don't trade away any future picks.
Fran, it's your turn to go first.
So the dynamic here play is thinking that there's going to be an AJ Brown trade
where you're getting a lot of capital coming back for 2027,
that you might be more willing to move some of those picks for next year.
That said, I had the most likely as rounds five through seven
that they would hold on to those early round picks for 2027.
So I have 52 turkeys on.
on rounds 5 through 7.
Okay.
I have 24 on none.
Probably too high there.
Round 3 to 4, I had 17.
Okay.
Then round 2 or higher had down at 7.
Got it.
Okay.
E.J., how about you?
I had zero on none.
May or may not have realized.
Zero on none, okay.
Zero on none.
I had 50 on rounds 5 through 7 for the same rationale that Fran had.
I had 40 on rounds 3 through 4 and only 10 on 2 or higher.
I understand that like, oh, they might have a future first, but I think that they'd like to maintain that flexibility.
I think you're probably right.
Yeah.
I am the highest on two or higher, but it's not by much.
It's 15.
I have 15 turkeys on that.
To me, that's like if they really want to move up for proctor, say.
Yeah, that's what it is.
I've got 35 on rounds three and four.
Just maybe a little bit high, although you're at 40.
And I'm only at 30 on rounds 537 and 20 on none.
spread it a little bit more evenly.
I think we all agree that this year could be
volatile, you know, like in terms of like,
it could go a number of different ways for the Eagles, like big picture.
I would think if you are like Howie and Jeffrey that
you kind of want to make sure you have outs for next year.
Like if things go south, like having more assets, I think is better than not.
I think that's a very good point.
Next up, will Eagles have more
picks over the course of the weekend spent on the offensive side of the ball, the defensive
side of the ball, or a push. Obviously the Eagles have eight picks, a push is in play. Offense,
defense push. E.J., your turn to go first. I went 80 on offense and I feel like I'm going to be
the low man. Okay. I did five on defense. I did 15 on push. 15 on push. I went all in.
Wow. 100 on offense. Wow. Zero on the other two.
the right call yeah yeah I misplayed this game offense I had 74 push 19 defense 7
well it is the least precedes I was like even like just read it through I'm preparing I'm like I was
too low on this and then he just like oh I'm low man at 80 I'm like god damn it's I just think uh
especially as the draft goes on yeah I think all the ties are going to go to the offensive side
of the yeah all right uh next up
Again, another yes or no one.
The Eagles will draft multiple players from the same position by the end of the fourth round.
Okay, so rounds one through four.
Now offensive line does count.
So all offensive line counts here.
Eagles will double dip.
And I remain of the thought that tight end is a real possibility here.
Absolutely.
Especially in this class.
Agree.
But I don't, I'm not all the way willing to go over 50%.
I've got 40 on yes 60 on no I have 75 on yes really 25 on oh I mean
tight end offensive line I mean is there a world where there's two defensive
line and probably not that but now I didn't tackle do not count unfortunately okay
yeah that's fair yeah but still I feel like offensive line and tight end give me enough
chances at it wide receiver too yeah yeah yeah yeah okay about you friend I went 56
yes 44 now oh so I'm rooting okay yes yeah yeah
chance for you to really make up some turkeys.
Yeah.
Three more to go.
Another yes and no one.
Fran, you get to go.
The Eagles will draft a quarterback
over the course of draft weekend.
Yes or no?
Yeah, this was basically a coin flip for me.
I went 52 yes, 48, no.
52 yes, 48, no.
E.J.
I went 55, yes, 45, no.
That's the same way as, Fran.
I went 39 yes, 61 no.
Just a slight edge to no,
but certainly possible.
second to last question the penultimate question
the eagle's first tight end
will be drafted in what round
I think we've talked a lot about tight ends here
will it be rounds one or two
rounds three or four
rounds five through seven
or none at all EJ you get to go
I can tell you about my turkey count
in
turkey time
now were you told to do that
No, I just was looking at the clock.
I'm sorry.
You jumped it.
Unbelievable.
Yeah, you try to be helpful.
I had 50 turkeys on rounds one or two.
Okay.
I have 40 in rounds three or four.
Ten in rounds five through seven and zero on none.
Okay.
I also have zero turkeys on none.
I've only got four turkeys on rounds five through seven.
I've got 71 turkeys
my rounds 3 and 4
and 25 on 1 and 2
going heavy on 3 and 4
how about you from yeah I went
I went heavy on 3 and 4 just not as heavy as you did
I went 48 on rounds 3 and 4
okay most likely
second most likely was rounds 1 2
37 turkeys
okay
rounds 5 7 I went 12 turkeys
and 3 on none
I figured you guys would both be 0 and none
So I thought, all right, let me just diversify here.
Steal a couple of turkeys, yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Not bad.
Last one, over the course of draft weekend.
And this also ends the final pick of the round.
E.J.'s favorite moment of the weekend.
Somebody will report something tangible about what the expected compensation will be in an eventual AJ Brown trade.
Now, we got to sort of, we got to.
Talk about the specifics here.
Yeah.
This cannot be someone saying,
the Eagles have traded a future pick
and they're saying,
oh, well, you know, you got to keep in mind,
the Eagles might be getting some picks back
in an AJ Brown trade, all of that.
This has to be a little bit more,
the Eagles are expected,
because it won't be reported,
because no deal can be agreed to yet,
and both sides are very worried about that.
It has to be, you know,
the expectation is the Eagles will get
a first or second round pick
in an in a in a it has to be a little bit more concrete than that do we do we feel like we're
we're okay with this framing yeah yeah i think the where it's coming from is an important
qualifier as well but i think that's true yeah later okay um so yes or no we will we will hear
something pretty tangible about an a j brown compensation package i have it at 20 set 28 yes 72 no
yeah i was
on this one. I went 60 yes,
already no. Maybe the burden of
maybe the burden of the reporting.
I had a little bit of a lower standard for,
but maybe I'll have to make a bunch of calls
to make this happen for myself. Yeah, there you go. You are
allowed to report this. All right, Fran. I went no
67, yes, 33. Okay.
All right. There you have it. I'm rooting for it.
Her keys to the kingdom
in the books.
Fran, how are you excited?
Yeah, I mean, I'm really excited.
It's, so working on my final mock draft,
I've got a lot of the bones kind of worked out.
I'm excited for tomorrow.
The show was a blast last year.
I had so much fun those three days last year.
So excited for that again.
Obviously, it'll be great to be amongst the sickos,
the chickies in Marlton tomorrow night.
So that'll be a lot of fun.
We're going to get there early.
So if you are planning on coming,
make sure you get there early as well.
Yeah, it's going to be, it's going to be great.
Like this draft, I think the unpredictability, especially like top 15 or so, is going to be, that's going to make for good, good entertainment.
I'm looking forward to it.
Yeah, the shows are going to be fun.
I mean, I always enjoy the very, like, human element of like the zooms that you get with the prospects where a lot of times, especially on day two and three, you get to like a window into their lives and their families and their families and see them, you know, introduced and see their families, see the facility.
Special time.
It's exciting time.
We start.
happen before like the end of the fifth round because we don't want it to drag on too long.
Yeah, of course.
You gotta get home.
Got a lawn to mow.
I do have a lawn to know.
That is that part is very accurate and on brand for me.
We begin tomorrow night at 7.30, half an hour before the Raiders are on the clock.
We'll have a little some business to attend to.
So we look forward to that.
Friday night, we start at 6.30.
Also a half an hour before the start of the proceedings, presumably we will have a press conference to discuss from the
first round pick so that will be fun and then
Saturday we start right at noon when the draft
starts taking you through
the end of the draft or
the final Eagles pick for sure
here we go buckle up baby
yeah it's gonna be a lot of fun
now uh Fran do you have anything else publishing
tomorrow um I have a mock draft
that I'm working on now I was gonna do a consensus
mock draft for diehards but I actually think I'm just gonna make that
I was gonna what I've been holding out for is like
everybody's final mock drafts to like incorporating them.
So I think what I'm going to do is rather than make that a diehard article,
you're going to get that bad boy for free if you subscribe to the all NFL draft newsletter.
So I'm going to put that out of the newsletter tomorrow late in the morning.
That'll be like the last thing I do before I put my suit on and head over to chickies.
That's fun.
Oh, yeah.
First of all, good, good point.
Are we going full suit?
Yeah, I thought so.
Okay.
I'm going, I'm going full suit.
You're going to tie?
Tie.
Tie.
I think so.
Did I go tie?
I went tie last year.
I think for a night one.
I think you a tie, night one.
Yeah.
You don't have to.
I mean, I can't tell you the last time.
I probably can,
but it's been a while since I wore a tie.
We should probably tell a professor title.
Tell BLG what we're wearing,
so he is not caught off guard.
I will have,
I'm committing to it so that I have to hold myself to it.
The 2006 NFL draft name guide
will be on all p.hly.com tomorrow morning.
Wow.
I reference it.
For the diehards only.
I'm glad, I am glad that you have it coming out because I referenced it on,
was it DNVR or CHGO yesterday.
Someone asked like, oh, who is the, who's the best name in the draft?
And I was like, well, the guy to ask.
And there are some, there are some very good ones.
I got a, I got a, I got a note here of Lord knows how many names.
Oh, man.
But there are some, I mean, look at it.
Look at this.
That is multiple scrolls long.
Way long.
Shout out to, shout out to E.J.'s father-in-law for He's a kind.
Yeah, yeah. The big fan of has Chia Massis and Ephesians Priceock.
Great name.
How about E.J. Smith, they're running back from Texas, say that.
If that kid makes it, it's curtains for me.
I get so many people tweeting at me thinking that I'm a, I am the E.J. Smith.
All right. That's all we got. Thanks, everybody for watching. Let us know how you feel about
like what it's like to know exactly what the egos are going to do in the draft and how good of a draft you think it is.
tell Lindsay, thanks for all the good graphics.
And we'll see you tomorrow night in Marlton at Chickies and Peets.
For all of us here at PHLY, we thank you for watching and listening.
Enjoy the rest of the PHLY shows tonight.
Flyers, keep it going.
Yeah.
And the Sixers, what a week.
Thanks for watching, everybody.
And as always, we love you.
