Starting point is 00:00:00 Yo! Welcome in. How about Jamie Lynch, my boy, I'm Jonesing for football. I know you are. I can't take it. Camp starts the 22nd. I thought of you first and foremost. Bro. Not the Eagles showing up.
Starting point is 00:00:16 You getting your itch scratch. Just with some training camp. I can't help myself. I'm really, I'm dying. We are living in the glory days of Eagles football. Yeah, I'm really psyched for this season. Because last season going in, you didn't really know what they had.
Starting point is 00:00:32 Now you know that Zach Bonn is a great player. You know Sequin just had one of the greatest running back seasons ever. You know what these guys are now. Right. So now's the, damn, can we go for a little dynasty run here? Exactly. And I believe it. So do I.
Starting point is 00:00:48 I completely believe in it. Yeah. I think they have the right attitude. Yeah. And the talent is unquestionable. If you look at it, the ESPN top 100 list has been slowly trick. clinging out. And you can make the case that 10% of that 100 are Eagles. It's really unbelievable. You could actually probably make the case that more than 10% we're just trying to be a little
Starting point is 00:01:13 reserved. Right. But like I think 10% of the top 100 list is a given. All right. Let's go through it. Yeah. Let's go through. So obviously we'll start offense. Sure. And you start with Seekwan, right? So best running back in the league. You know, I mean, done. Right. You almost, we almost don't realize how great he is. Like, what we saw was an explosive run game that was unlike anything in the history of the league. Like, you know, you had Barry Sanders having long runs and Walter Payton, right, in these great backs. Not like, he had eight home runs. Yeah, I mean, the 75-yard plus touchdowns last year was just insane.
Starting point is 00:01:54 I mean, he was judge. Yeah. And there is good, like, I don't expect him to repeat the same season again, but it's certainly within the realm of possibility. Yeah, look, he's going to have, I think at least, assuming health, he'll have at least five, you know, 50 yard touchdown runs. Probably. I mean, the offensive line's insane. So, you know, other than Beckton. And I don't know how he doesn't do that. Yeah. I mean, I expect Sequan to go out there and be another MVP-ish type candidate, at least as close as a running back and get to them. that award. All right. So you got Sake-on. That's a fact. Let's go to receivers. AJ is probably the most
Starting point is 00:02:32 underrated receiver in the league. There's stats on him when you talk about like targeted balls and like catch rates and like explosive plays. You can make a case that he's the best receiver in the league. Like I'm not going to say that because I'm not a hot take guy. Right, right, right. But like he's easily top five and you can make a strong argument.
Starting point is 00:02:52 He's the best. And then after AJ, you have Devante. The Sleber. The dagger. Like, you look at with Devante, if there's offense was structured differently, whatever, both these guys are a thousand-yard receivers.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Yeah, and they've done that. Right. In an offense that's not predicated on the past. That's run heavy with one of the best runs in the league. Which is an embarrassment of riches. It's unbelievable. It really is unbelievable. And then, you know, you would have Jalen, right?
Starting point is 00:03:21 So easily, that's obvious. Raining Super Bowl champ plays his best games on the biggest stages. Yeah, he's easy in there. So those four are givens without even like blinking and I. And then you got it for Lane as another lock. Lane is the best. He might be the best Eagle ever. Now Reggie White is probably like the best individual.
Starting point is 00:03:45 But in terms of like winning, stability, leadership, like what he's done, he's going to retire as an end. And the most important, you know, position in the sense that when you're talking about right tackle and you're talking about a hurts and you're talking about a run game you're talking about a guy that
Starting point is 00:04:04 just is great and you look at the stats when he doesn't play and their record with him playing. I mean it's night and day. He's an amazing figure like you think about what he's done. Like obviously Kelsey was always
Starting point is 00:04:19 will be a Mr. Eagle forever but I think you can make the argument. and lanes there, if not better, at tackle as opposed to center. Yeah, I've said it before. I think he's the greatest eagle ever. Yeah, when you're talking about that, I don't see how. Two titles. I mean, yeah, Reggie.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Individually probably better, but when you look at the grand scope of winning and everything put together. And what he means. Yeah. The gladiator, like, I mean. He's getting better with age somehow. Yeah, he's insane. He's a freak.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Well, speaking of which, let's take a look. is Lane at the O-line Masterminds Camp. 45 yards. So my goal is if I can get to that 5-yard mark before he can, I'll have a better chance to get the position where I can double under. I'll double under because that's what I learned to do. When I first came in the league, I was talking punch, punch.
Starting point is 00:05:11 I was getting my ass hooked because I wasn't good with my hands. And I was mostly two hand-punching. So for me, it's just I'm trying to equal this guy's first step off a lot of scrimmage. Anytime you go too lateral, first kick, You're going to turn early. You may be turning in making contact at three, four yards, rather than five or six. So that pocket, you know, he's circled cornered at eight instead of 10, 11. So, like, that's my thought process with that.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Yeah. And it all depends, you know, how much am I kicking is all dependent on the width. Get up a tight five. We'll get out of my stance quick, but I don't want to cover a whole lot. Wow. I mean, is it ridiculous. Courtesy of our man, Baldi, meat on meat. Yeah, baby.
Starting point is 00:05:48 How happy is Baldy in Bitole masterminds? My God. A pig and slop. Yes. Yes. Hey, what's about. And then you can make the case on the other side of the line from Lane. You just go greatness to greatness.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Yeah, because Mayelot at left tackle. I mean, Penae Sewell gets like a lot of the fanfare in the wards. And rightfully so, he's a piece. You can make the case that myelotta is just as good. Yeah. You know, at least he's second or third. Yeah. He's easily a top 100 plus.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Right. So that's offense. that's Jalen, Sequin, AJ, Devante, Lane, and Jordan Mayelan. That's six locks. Now, you could probably make the case at some point for Dickerson. I think absolutely. I mean, when you look at the left guards in the league, he's a pro bowler. He's been an all pro.
Starting point is 00:06:43 He's certainly up there. It's how, I guess, how heavily do you weight the guard in the top 100 discussion? And Juergens, right? Like at center. Yeah. I mean, he's probably a top five center. So if you put those to the side. Sure.
Starting point is 00:06:57 All right. But Jalen Sequin, A.J. Devante Lane, Malata. Boom. Dickerson, Juergens over here. Strong chances. All right. You know, now let's go to the other side of the ball. You know how I feel about Jalen Carter.
Starting point is 00:07:09 The breadman. Dude, everybody that I talk to around that team is afraid of them. That's great. I want that out of my deal. taggle. Exactly. Exactly. Like, imagine trying to block them. Yeah. No thanks. And I got to go back. I just
Starting point is 00:07:29 talked to Spaggs the other day and we were talking about the Super Bowl. And I contend, like, if you, they held Sequan down. Like, they did a great job against Chris Jones is a beast. Eagles won that game because the Chiefs couldn't do anything offensively.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Yeah. And it all centered around stopping Carter. I mean, one of my favorite plays of the game was the Carter just boom, right to the face mask of my homes. You know, I believe that was this picks, is that the pick six or the end of the game one? Yeah. Whatever it was. I mean, he's
Starting point is 00:08:03 a freak. He's a wrecking ball. He collapses every pocket. Yeah. And you need to focus, you know, why that line is so ferocious is that you need to put so many assets to block them. Yeah. Yeah. And it's why. Or he wrecks your game plan.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Sure. And it's why you know, maybe an emerging Nolan Smith or some of these guys have opportunities that they might not get elsewhere is because Jalen Carter just makes life hell for the offensive line. Yeah, I mean, that's... He's a lock. He's a lock at seven.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Yeah. Let's go to Zach Bourne. Defensive Player of the Year finalist. Enough said, right? I mean... How do you not have a top three defensive player of the year? Is a great tackler? I mean, think about what the Eagles defense was two years ago.
Starting point is 00:08:52 We were questioning at this point last year, is Zach Bond going to be able to win the starting job? What is Zach Ball? Can he cover tight ends in this? Right. And now we're going, he's a sideline to sideline guy who's good in coverage. He can blitz.
Starting point is 00:09:04 He can do this. He can do that. He gives great tackler. Right. Great in the run game. I mean, they were so dominant and he's doing everything. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:14 He's your signal caller. Yeah. He's, you know, your lynch bait. He's a top. 100 player, no doubt. All right. A linebacker, Anthony, on a top 100 list.
Starting point is 00:09:25 That's eight. And eight easily. Yeah, easy. No arguments. So let's go to his secondary because in his secondary. Oh, my boy. Right. Q.
Starting point is 00:09:35 He's in. I mean, they don't throw to him. They refuse to throw to that side. That's the highest compliment a cornerback can have is we're not even going to bother trying to throw to you. How's he not? I don't know how he's not. in the NFL and that position so vital,
Starting point is 00:09:54 he's got to be part of the top 100. Yeah, the only thing that might keep him off is his lack of interceptions, I suppose. But those are going to come. You saw CJGJ steal at least two of them from him last year. Well, and the other aspect is, like, the greatest company is you don't have a lot of opportunities. Yeah, I mean, Nandi Osamwa,
Starting point is 00:10:12 when he was at the top of his game for Oakland, wasn't getting a lot of picks because people just didn't throw his way. No, I mean, you know, this Quignan, Island and everything, like, Q is. Quignano-Mo Bay. I mean, he's in my top one. He's number one in my heart.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Yeah. And then number one of my heart, I'm a Cooper. Oh, fan. I love Cooper to Jean. Now, is he a top 100? I mean, I think so. I mean, when he comes on the field last year, it changed everything.
Starting point is 00:10:45 It did. Because of what he can do, right? So he can lock down the middle of the field. He's physical. I mean. The Derek Henry. I was about to bring it up. Like the King Henry, that was probably my favorite play of his season.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Yeah. He stood him up. Derek Henry's huge. He's a monster. Soundly perfect tackle, shoulder, lift. I think one of the things that we don't realize about Cooper is how fast he is and how athletic he is. Like his athleticism is all the charts.
Starting point is 00:11:23 You see the footage from the pleasure of him thrown down? Like the guy can jump out of the gym. Yeah. No, he's just a great athlete. Yeah. Fast, you know, strong, right, middle of the field. Like, I'll never forget when they drafted him, Spag said to me, dude, I love that kid.
Starting point is 00:11:40 He said, I have no problem playing him on the outside. Yeah. And the problem of playing on the outside is, you're checking away from the middle of the field, where he's even more effective. Yeah, and there was talk about potentially looking at him at safety packages. The guy can do it all. That versatility alone probably gets you in the top 100.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Yeah, I mean, he's got to be in the 90s. I think. Yeah, I think so. I mean, that's... We got potentially two cornerbacks and a linebacker in a top 100 list. What bizarro universe are we living in it? Two wide receivers. And two wide receivers.
Starting point is 00:12:14 And a running back. I mean, I think. think back to the Eagles running backs, right? And you go, B. West, doos, shady. Don't forget the great DeMarco Murray, aunt.
Starting point is 00:12:28 How could you forget? I mean, you think back, I mean, Cacquon, I mean, the star power. I know. I mean, this is a rock star roster. Yeah. That how we put together. And that's why I feel great about their chances again. Man, I can't wait.
Starting point is 00:12:45 It's going to be awesome. I know. It's almost here, right? Oh, my God. We're just over 50 some days. I can't wait. This time of the year, you and I worked together for years. You start to get real fancy. Because, listen, I love baseball, and it's great.
Starting point is 00:13:05 But the middle of the season, dog days for a reason. Like, you're like, all right, I need, I need like, get me to late August. There's nothing better than Pennet Race, October, right? I need the butterflies. Football, football, butterflies. We're close. Yeah, man. The quest to repeat.
Starting point is 00:13:23 I know. And what? Three Super Bowls in five years? Like, I know, dude. That's just outrageous. It's unreal. Burns. Unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Top 100. We got 10 locks and three possibilities. Yeah. You could make a case. 13% of the top 100 players in the NFL are Philadelphia Eagles. That's great. Let that sink it.
