And presented by our friends at Ashley, Bo Wolf, E.J. Smith, we got Lindsay back. We're cooking. And it's time for a big tent pole of the summer. That's right.

E.J.'s first, split squad drive. Yeah, I'm excited. you know, I, um, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've sensed that. Oh, good for you. Congratulations. I've intense all morning. And part of the reason I've been tense is because I've watched this show from afar for years. I know that this show can be a little contentious. I know that this show can be a little unenjoyable for the person in the other seat. So I'm, I got to come prepared, but, you know, I maybe, maybe, usually the other person loses. Maybe I enlisted a little bit of advice for how to handle this. Lindsay, maybe I had somebody, you know, give me some, some pointers on how to win this game.

And I think the long-term sickos will appreciate the message here from my, from my sensei here. Play the man, not the board. I don't know why you would call that person a sensei when they've never won a game that we've played. You know what, Bo? You were entitled. It's like going to like going to. Like going to Pat Schumer for For head coaching advice

What are you talking about? You were entitled to your own opinions But not your own facts I mean those are the facts Watching the film back of these was very funny You're talking about a guy who Has never won a game like this Who has been run

Absolutely assunder By any kind of game theory I wonder if he would disagree If he was in the seat But please I'm going to I'm going to do my best. I'll be telling you from experience.

Here's what you got to do. You got to use the third overall pick for a draft on Trey Thomas. That's the way to do it. No, no. I think it was good advice, good advice, and I'm ready because I reached out to somebody.

Shout out to Zach Berman out there. All right. The rules for the flip squad draft. E.J. and I will pour over the Eagles 92-man roster in order to make two. Two teams of 26 players, 12 players on both sides of the ball, quarterback, but not starting quarterback.

Jalen Hertz is the quarterback for both of these teams. Otherwise this would be totally unfair, but we will both draft a backup quarterback. You got a running back, two wide receivers, a tight end, five offensive linemen, one other, you know, running back wide receiver tight end spot and then a flex spot. On defense, it's pretty self-explanatory. You gotta have a nickel. four defensive linemen, two linebackers, and on both sides of the ball,

we get to sign a street free agent. So whatever positions, we feel like we need, you know, need to fortify just a little bit. You can add a free agent from the street, and you can be a little bit lenient with positions. Yeah.

I think specifically along the offensive line and in the secondary, you know, if you want to play Cooper's unit safety, you can. Want to play them on the outside, you can. Yeah. You want to move Lain and Dicker, into center you could do that yeah stuff like that otherwise everything else within reason

can move cam lotser to fullback for example sure you could do that you could do that yeah um and the draft order is one then two then one one one from there yeah because it is your first time doing it e. j i'll be a gracious host i will let you choose do you want the first pick or the second and third selection i would like the second and third selections please okay any other question before we begin general thesis statement, which is that I would have come into this game, similar to the way that I came into my 1 through 92 ranking, thinking this would be a fun exercise and like who are the most important eagles, you know, like what ranking the deep, where they not? Yeah. This is actually more for me about just winning the game. Like I don't think we're, because I don't think you're going

to allow us to actually, you know, investigate like the true value. I think you will probably try to undermine me at every turn. So I'm going to build a team through my own vision. So if there are some weird placements for players, that's the reason. Don't project that upon me.

We're here. We're here to talk about where the eagles are deep, where are they shallow? And that's all a part of it. Yeah, but like, you know, I'm not even, I'm not,

I don't need to explain myself. I'll explain myself as we go through the game. Okay. Well, I've got the first over all back. Joe 76 is Braden Man at cornerback. I've got to, I mean, you could do that, I suppose. Yes.

That's fine. First overall pick. Now, there's a few things to keep in mind here. I think players who should be in the conversation here, either of the tackles you would expect, more important positions, bigger drop off to the backups. I think you can make a case in the post-A.J. Brown world for Devante Smith. And then just the best players on the team,

Quinead Mitchell, Cooper DeGine, if you wanted to talk, Jalen Carter, I think you could go there as well. a lot of options. Because you have the double team move coming up next, I cannot allow you to get both tackles. That's the only thing that I need to play a little bit of defense here with the first overall pick. And I know that you have a love affair

with Jordan Milata. So because I'm a good friend, I'm not going to, I'm not going to, you know, drive a wedge between the two of you. I, this is not going to be, you know, Kira Knightley's stealing Andrew Garfield from, what's her name, situation? What's her name? I'm not going to be able to help you with this one.

What movie are we referencing here? Never let me go. Never seen it. Somebody in the chat, help Bo out here. Her name. Oh, that's going to drive me crazy. Anyway, I'm taking a little chance. I can pick out Kira Knightley out of the lineup.

Really? Nope. Gary Mulligan. Yes, thank you. Carrie Mulligan. Has she been in a movie I've seen? Great action. A big Carrie Mulligan fan.

Oh, Bennett Lake Beckham. Bend it, like Beckham? Okay. Love Actually? Yeah, I think I've seen Love Actually. Pirates of the Caribbean? I saw it, but like a couple years ago. Okay.

Anyway, I'm taking Lane Johnson. Okay. It's a good pick. I really was expecting you to go with Jordan Mila to try and again, play the man, not the board. That makes my next pick pretty straightforward, and it is Lane. Oh, wait, actually, let me back up. No, I can't let you have both tackles.

I'm taking Lane Johnson next. No, I took Lane Johnson. What are you talking? Literally one pick in, and he's already... You really threw me by taking my, like saying you teed it up like you're taking my Lata. I'm going to take Jordan Milata. The thing that you didn't say about Lane that I think was like the reason why I was

hoping he made it to me is I think Lane in particular in this scheme, You know, like in a Sean Manion system, like where you're going to have a lot of outside zone, I think he would have been really the deserving number one overall pick. And that's why it's part of the reason he was number one in my, you know, one through 92 rankings last week, the roster pyramids. But I'm going to take Jordan Milata. I'm going to make sure that I have a very good foundational piece for my offense. From here, I know you really value the offensive linemen.

And for that reason, I'm tempted to. go that way. But I think I'm going to help myself with some versatility down the road, actually, on defense. I'm going to take Cooper to Gene. I think in this exercise, I think that Cooper to Gene's versatility makes him a slightly more valuable addition than Quinion Mitchell because I can play him on the outside. I can play him in the nickel. I can play him at safety. And especially in the nickel and at safety, I think you can feel good about getting elite level play from him. I think he'll be very good on the outside as well. But I think his versatility is a real asset for the team. team. And obviously, you know, Cooper de Gene is a tone-setting force on a defense. If you're playing

him in his natural position as a nickel, or again, getting creative and playing him at safety, you know that you're building a defense that's going to be stout against the run because you have a player that's going to be above average at that position against the run. All of those are fair points. You want to put him at nickel for now? I'm going to stick him. Yeah, put him at nickel for now. Obviously, you can, you can move If I move them around. Yeah. I do think that you just lost the draft.

Wow, what a surprise. I can't believe you would say that. And I'll tell you why. I mean, we've got a long way to go. Please stay tuned. But the draft, this is the point where you can mark that E.J. lost the draft. This won't be the first time you say this either.

No, this is the point. This is where it all begins. Because at your spot, you were guaranteed if you didn't take Cooper Degene to get either Cooper Degene or Quinnian-Mitchell. Anyway, and you may still get both of them, the drop-off between the corner quality and the wide receiver quality, I'm very happy. I'm shocked that I get Devante Smith at this spot. I mean, you know, maybe you'll be happy with McCoy Lemon and Dun Tavian Wicks

as you're starting wide receivers. We'll see about that. But to me, the drop-off there, I am thrilled to get Devante Smith. I am thrilled to get Seguan Barclay. To me, yes, the drop-off from Devante to the secondary options there, it is, you know, it's something to keep in mind, but I'm building a team. I'm building a team with a vision.

And now you have now allowed me to have Jordan Milana and Sequan Barclay. Yeah, that's fine. It's a great foundation. And I think if you're talking about true difference makers, You're talking about true elite players. You know, again, when I went through the roster pyramid, Devante Smith wasn't in my elite players, and you didn't have much objection to Devante Smith not being there.

Sequin Barclay is a year removed from being at the top of the roster pyramid, still among the elite players. If you're talking about players that you're going to build a team around, I'd rather have Seyquan Berkeley than Devante Smith. Really? Yeah, absolutely. If you were building a team, you would draft a running back over a wide receiver.

If you're building a team from like a, you know, if you're talking like a top five draft. I think drafting Sequin Berkeley this early is if you are rebuilding if you Sequin Berkeley New York Giant. If you're doing like the NFL. We're building a running back first team. The whole point. The whole point, the whole lesson from 2024 is that you build the team first. This is crazy.

And then you drop in Seekoine Barclay and it all works together. To build to build him first and use your equity on that, you are, he's going to get destroyed. to tell you why you were wrong because in this exercise, this is basically a fantasy draft of the Eagles roster where you already have your quarterback. So if you told me that you have a, I mean, of either, I guess the fringes of the elite, top 10, top 12, whatever you want to call it, if you have a very good quarterback that you can win a Super Bowl with, now I am figuring out how I can build around that quarterback. And yes, I'd rather have Sequin Barker than Devante Smith in that exercise. If you did a fantasy draft, Seekon will go first. I do not have to applaud you because you were

correct. This is where you extra lost the draft. I feel great about this. I can't believe that Sequin went this early, but that's okay. I can't believe that you think that you would rather have Devante to start an offense than Sequan. Would you already have a quarterback in place? Look at the market. Who gets paid more? Yeah, but I mean, it's not, it's not necessarily about, like, who gets paid more in this exercise. I want guys, I can build a team in the league who would who would rather have Sequin Berkeley than Devante Smith? In a, like, a fantasy draft where you have a quarterback already. I'd rather have Sequin.

Okay. I'd rather have, like, the true game-breaking talent. That's great. I will take Quineon Mitchell. Thank you very much. Okay. You know, you could have, you wanted to play the man. You could have just made me had a bad secondary.

And now I get Quineon Mitchell, and I'm very happy. I didn't say a player than Quina-Bring. I told you that's what Zach told me to do. I didn't say that's what I was going to do. Okay. thrilled to have Quignan Mitchell. I did not think I would have him. You've got Quinyon, Devante, and Lane Johnson.

I've got Sequin, Jordan, Milata, and... Cooper DeGine. Cooper de Jean. Yeah. Sorry, I was thinking more about just my offense here. I'm going to take a player that I think there is a drop-off, a pretty significant drop-off, and it aligns with building an offense for Sean Mannion.

it aligns with building an offense around Sequin Barclay and Jalen Hertz because I have him as well. I'm going to take Dallas Goddard. Okay. Did I just triple lose the draft? Is that what you're going to say here? No, but it's going down an ugly path for you.

That's a... I feel good about it. Outside of Dallas Goddard is far and away the best tight end available in this draft. Sure. There's a significant drop-off. You just pointed at what receivers I might end up with. Now you've got to start picking...

You're going to go with Eli Stowers. You're going to go with, you're not going to pick Johnny Munt. I can tell you that right now. You don't know that. If you do, it would be, you would be intellectually dishonest because we know how you feel about Johnny Muck. That's not true. We'll see.

Okay. All right. Sequin, Dallas, Goddard, Jordan, Milana, and Cooper, Dijian for you. Your first four picks. I've got Lane, Devante, and Quignon. I'll do one more before we go to break. It's a physicality with that offense. You can get behind.

A couple different directions I could go, but I will start. by making sure I got the best offensive linemen still remaining on the board. I refused to break up the love affair between Gorda Milata and you, but I will unfortunately have to divorce him from Landon Dickerson. I will take Land and Dickerson for now at Left Guard,

but he does give me some flexibility to potentially move him around. Yeah, I was hoping he'd make it to me, so that's a good pick. All right, we'll get back into our respective corners, gloves down for the next two minutes. And then we return as the Flit Squad draft rolls on. What's EJ going to do next? Back in the PHL Angos podcast, Bo Wolf and E.J. Smith, we move now to the fifth round of the Flit Squad draft, E.J. Smith on the clock. You had two minutes to think about it. I'm curious to see where you land. What do we got? I want to again build around the cornerstones that I acquired in the first segment of this show to feel great about. And to do that, I have Cooper DeGine.

I can take advantage of his versatility, but I would still like to build around what I think Cooper de Gene does best. And for that reason, I'm going to make sure that you don't corner the market on outside cornerbacks. So I'm going to take Rick Wollin, a player who had a really, really encouraging spring, a player that honestly this time next year could be signing a very, very lucrative. deal at the top of the cornerback market. If he has a breakout season with the Eagles,

I think there's a good chance he has that season. And for that reason, when I come back and watch this show a year from now, I want to feel good about having Rick Wollin on my team. Okay. I think there are, when I was thinking about this draft, there are like three to five guys where it felt like to me one of us had to get our guy. You getting Rik Willen was always going to happen. I mean, was it?

How far down at your board was he? He would not have been in my next five selections. Okay. All right. It's good for me to know. I understand it. Well, playing the board, not the man. You are high on Rick Willen.

I think that's fine. There's a lot of upside here. I think there are other picks to be made, but I think that's a fine selection. Okay. I will, there are a couple places where I can squeeze you a little bit, but I am going to start by doing the appropriate thing here and just taking the best player on the board.

And that is Jalen Carter. Yeah. You know, to have him still available this deep into this draft, it is only a reflection of the fact that there are three really good defensive tackles. Yes. And so, you know, on almost any other team, he would probably be a top four pick in this kind of exercise. But I'm thrilled to have Jalen Carter lead to front of my defense. Because I'm worried about you, now moving on to the part of the draft where you are going to try to pluck certain positions and get ahead of me in certain areas.

I'm going to go with I'm going to go with Cam Jurgens. I want to make sure I I'm playing the upside with Cam Jurgens here especially in this system that we're building an outside zone, a wide zone system where the athleticism will be more important than maybe being able to win

at the point of attack in a gap scheme. And for that reason, I think there's reason for optimism for Cam Juergens and I want to make sure that my interior offensive line isn't the limiting factor for Saquan Barkley. Jalen Hertz. And Dallas Goddard is the cornerstones of the softest. They say Jillen Hertz, like, I don't also have Jillen Hurts.

Well, you just made this huge argument about how Sequin was this terrible, like a resource allocation. Like, we don't already have a franchise quarterback to account for. It's not at the exclusion of the quarterback. It's at the exclusion of every other position that matters more. And running back is arguably the least important position. Hey, did the Eagles win the Super Bowl in large part because of a running back two years ago? Do you remember that? No.

News to me. He was the final piece of the puzzle. The puzzle that was built on the offensive line and a great defense. Yeah, there's time for me to build that. It's hard to get players like Saquan Barkley. Okay. Yeah. I also would not have drafted Cam Juergens anytime soon, but that's okay.

And also, this is the opposite of you get in Riegel and you getting Cam Juergens. That's recipe for locker room disaster. I, man, there's a... a few things to do here. But I am, I feel so confident about how some of these things are going to play out that I'm going to do the other thing, which I think is reflecting who should actually go next.

The best player is still available. And that is Zach Bonn. So, I mean, listen, I love Cooper to Jean. I think he's awesome. I think you can make a case that I have the three best players on the defense right now in Jalen Carter, Zach Bonn and Quinionette Mitchell. You could make an argument. I probably wouldn't make that argument.

I think Cooper DeGine is in there. I think he's the most important part of the Eagles defense. From here, this is where I'm going to get conflicted because I've been playing defense, and in the time I've been playing defense, you have just been accumulating really good players. but then I'm worried if I don't play defense that you're just going to

you know pick off the guys I need to get I think I have to the tricky thing is the two players I'm torn between are at the same position and I don't know which way I want to go in terms of building it which probably you probably think you can probably think of who I'm thinking of here

I think I'm gonna go with morea at Jomo okay I was really torn between him and another player I want the pass rush upside I think this time next year we might be looking at Morrow Ojomo versus the player that I was considering, and Morrow Ojomo might be making more than that player.

And for that reason, I think he's just a slightly more valuable proposition as I try to build out a defensive line. I think that's reasonable to take him. I mean, I assume you're talking about Jordan Davis. Yeah. I think it's fine to take him over the other. That's a good, like, thought experiment, though. Like, who is more valuable, Moroa Jomo or Jordan Davis?

I think, I mean, I think Ojamo, I think Jordan Davis, is more valuable because I think they're very similar. I think there is probably more upside still to come from Morrow. I feel like maybe that's unfair too because Jordan Davis took a huge leap last year. He did, but I think it's harder to find someone who's going to get you like six sacks as an interior defensive lineman

than it is to find like an early down nose tackle. I know that that's more, Jordan Davis was more than that and he was really, really good at it last year. Right. But I feel like that role is easier to fill. Like, if I were going to use my free agent wildcard, I could probably find it on a nose tackle that allows me to play light boxes. Easier than I could find, like, a defensive tackle that's going to get me six sacks.

I don't know. I think there are more moros in the league than there are Jordan Davis's. But your real question is what is more important? It depends on how you view Ojoimo. If you view him as, you know, a 100 million plus free agency signing, there aren't more of those guys. But like rotational pass rushers that are going to give you some juice.

Yeah, I think he's somewhere, I mean, I think he's probably closer to the first description. I don't know. It's a tough one. I will not go back to the defensive tackle here. I'm going to go to the edge, another spot where there's three obvious top guys

and I will take Jonathan Grenard to lead my group. Okay, I'm going to take Jordan Davis. Okay, yeah. I'm going to feel good about those two as an interior pairing. Sorry, I didn't. We just talked about Davis. No, that's fine.

Now I feel great about, especially like in a world where I already had Cooper to Gene. Like Cooper to Gene and Jordan Davis, they kind of need each other in some ways, you know? Like, they allow you to play the way that Vic Fangio wants to play. I think that if you were talking about like the most important people to the scheme, I feel like I now have two of the, I think probably the two of the three. I'd give Zach Bonn a nod there too. Like if you're saying, like,

which players do Vic Fangio does he need to have the scheme look the way he wants it to look? I think Cooper de Jean and Jordan Davis are high on that list. I think that was the way that last year's defense looked. I think that's right. I think, as we have talked about, I think Bonn was the skeleton key to the 24 defense.

Yeah. And the combination of Jordan Davis and Cooper DeGine was last year's defense. Yeah, who knows what this year's defense will look like. But since you have gone double-dip a defensive tackle, I will double dick on... Whoa.

Listen, we're going to have a fun locker room. That's all I can say. And it's appropriate because this is, just like Rick Willen is your guy, this is my guy, Jalick's Hunt. I expect big things from this season. And so even though you have Ojam O.Jemone Davis,

I feel like I have a superior defensive line by quite a margin now to have Grenard, Geylon Carter, and Jailix Hunt. I don't know. I've pumped the brakes on. little bit here. I think you you're talking a the draft's not complete and B you know you're talking about it's built

different ways. Yeah who we learned in Philadelphia that your defensive tackle is really only as good as is running me and you've got questions there. I mean the board's thinning out. Okay. Quick reset on offense you have Sequan Dallas Goddard, Jordan Milata and Cam Jurgens on defense you have Moro

Jordan Davis Rick Willen and Cooper DeGene On offense, I have Devante Smith, Lennon, Dickerson, and Lane Johnson, and on defense I have Jonathan Gronard, Jalen Carter, Jalex Hunt, Zach Bonn, and Quignon Mitchell. Over to you. I'm going to take a player that probably shouldn't go this high, although I think we're getting to a point where you do need to start to fill out your roster. This isn't a player that I'm necessarily pounding the table for being a difference maker

or being like a quality starter, but a player that I think there's a drop-off at the position and I'd rather not have that drop-off based off of the way I built my team so far. So I'm going to take Drew McCuba. I'm going to add to my safety room. I'm going to make sure that I don't have glaring holes in my secondary. Because now, if you're telling me that I've got one spot to fill, Cooper DeGine could play safety and base, and I got one spot to fill there, I feel okay about my base defense, you know,

especially because I've got Jordan Davis as a part of it. So again, McCuba, I think it's going to be a proof of year for him to show that he is, like, worthy of being a starting safety on a championship contend. but I'm going to project forward and build out my defense with him as part of it. Okay. Understand the thought process. But I am now going to box you out, and I'm going to take Nolan Smith. Okay.

So your edge group is really going to be leaving you wanting. Now, maybe you'll add a free agent there. But for me to have all of Grenard, Hunt, and Nolan Smith, I feel quite good about it. Okay. Maybe I got an ace of my sleeve with that one. We'll see. question about that. No, I'm not going to ask it.

You want to ask about the free agents when you have to draft them? Is that your question? Yeah, it's in the draft, right? It's in the draft, yes. Yes. You've got to use a draft pick on the free agent you want to sign. Okay. I need the chat to let me know if they think that Bo would use his free agency signing

just to undermine me. Of course I would. Okay. All right, well, let's keep that in mind. All right, the 10th round now. We'll take us to the second ad break. I can take one more pick. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Okay. This is the beginning of the 10th round. I don't feel amazing about this. So maybe I should have just asked for the ad break. But you know what? No, I'm going to be confident about this. There you go. This is an offense that's built around Sequin Bartley.

This is an offense that is built around the run game in particular. We're not going to have explosive players on the outside necessarily. Although we do have one of Jalen Hertz's most prolific past targets in Dallas Goddard. but I'm going to make sure that we have a strong offensive line and I'm going to take the only starter still left on the board I'm going to take Tyler Steen. I think that was a good pick for you.

It's funny like the one I felt worse about you. You were like, that's probably good. First time since the first round, I think, when you made the red pick. On the other side of the break, we should look at the rosters so I can just appreciate what I've built here. Sure. Well-built team.

Tyler Steen's fine pick for you there. I will, I could box it out there two. but instead I'm going to make sure that I have the superior firepower in the passing game. So I will draft Mackay Lemon as my second wide receiver. And I'm excited to have a rookie. Are you? I'm quite excited. Yeah.

So I've got Devante, McCoy Lemon, Lane of Dickson, Ryan Johnson. You've got, please, I've got Sequin, Dallas, Goddart, Milata, Juergens, and Steen. we had to break we will settle ourselves down and come back for more on the other side as the beat down continues is almost here

different players who are going to be here. Very cool to feel like you are in the mix. And five days, one city, every eye on baseball is on us. Right now, you've got Seke one, Barclay, Dallas Goddard, Jordan Milata, Cam Jurgens and Tyler Steen on one side. A losing side. And then you've got Devante Smith, Mackay Lemon, Lennon Dickerson, and Lane Johnson on the other. I mean, that is,

you're so excited about your skill group. You got Devante Smith and Mackay Lemon. Like, Devante's a great player, but him and Mackay Lemon is a pairing. I'm not certain about it yet. A small group. Small receiving core.

I'm building a team that can play in January. All right? You got a seven-on-seven team over here. on the beach chairs and Cabo in January, my friend. On the defensive side of the ball. You've got Morrow Ojimo and Jordan Davis, Rikwollen, Drew Makuba, and Cooper DeGine. I've got Jonathan Grenard, Jalen Carter, Jalick's Hunt,

Zach Bonn, Wynion Mitchell, and Nolan Smith. I mean... It's a physical defense. I've got a defense. Nolan Smith is a flex. What are you going to do with Nolan Smith? What do you mean? What are the Eagles going to do with Nolan Smith?

You're just going to rotate them in? It's just funny to see him as a flex. That's fine. All right. You get to start the 11th round, E.J. Where are we going? I am finally going to address receiver. I'm a little bit worried you're going to box me out,

and then my receivers are going to be the catching point when we review our teams and people are going to go, oh, my goodness, E.J., how could that be your receiver? So I'm going to take Don Tavian Wicks, and I'm going to play the potential upside. You know, I think this is clearly going to be an offense that is built around Dallas Goddard as the primary passing option in the passing game. I think that Don Tavian Wicks can be a complimentary piece to him. We talked about it on yesterday's show.

Like maybe there's a little bit too much optimism for him stepping into this bigger role. But I think, you know, there's a reason that Sean Mannion would have pushed for him. And there was optimism around him in the spring. So I feel good about Don Tantavian Wicks here. Okay. I think that's fine. I think that's probably the pick that you needed to make there. Would you have taken him next?

Yes. Okay. Um, that's probably the first time that was the case. Let's see. I want to decide how I want to build out the rest of that room. But I also want to make sure, well, I could do that. I am going to do that. And I'm going to box you out of a different position.

Okay. And that is linebacker. I'm going to take Jehad Campbell. Okay. To pair with Zach Bonn. Now I know you love Jeremiah Trader Jr. You think he could build a defense around him. That's fine.

But I'm thrilled to have, I mean, I don't need anybody else on defense now. I've got Grenard, Carter, Hunt, Bon, Campbell, Quignon, and Nolan Smith. I could have five jags in the secondary, and I'm still feeling pretty good. Yeah, Jehad Campbell would have been high on my board, moving forward. It's a good pick. I'm going to take... No, you know what? not going to go that route. I've been thinking about boxing you out of certain positions.

And maybe that's what I should do. Good luck, baby. Maybe that's what I should do. I'm going to go with Fred Johnson. Okay. I'm going to take another tackle. Make sure that, again, I'm building a strong offensive line that is going to aid this run-first operation I built. I'm going to take Fred. I think that was a good pick. That would have been my next pick again. So you're settling in a little bit here. I mean, I think we just have different visions. You have a long way to come back from. And the good thing about the Fred Johnson pick for you is that it does force my hand.

I will take Markell Bell for now as my starting left tackle. Okay. Let me just say, because I thought this would be an interesting discussion when we got to Fred Johnson and Markele Bell. Markele Bell's spring we can overstate. But I think it's fair to say that, like,

Fred Johnson maybe would have gone off the board a few rounds earlier this time last year. or if they hadn't taken Markell Bell in the draft. I think Markle Bell's presence and the theoretical upside at the very least makes you feel better about the Eagle's tackle depth. I totally agree. It's a great point. If Markel Bell had looked really bad,

Markle Bell, or Fred Johnson would have been picked five rounds earlier. Yeah. I think the fact that we both felt like it's okay to have Markell Bell penciled in this exercise has changed the value proposition there a lot. And let me just say, like, Markle Bell had to win me over, Because when we saw the rookie mini camp, I was like, he looks a little skinny and, like, in the lower half, and like, I'm a little worried about him. But he looked good in the spring.

We could overstate that. That first day of one-on-ones in training camp, or three weeks away, by the way, that first day of one-on-ones in training camp is going to be very instructive and really important to see from him. But I feel okay about his path toward being the next Fred Johnson. I'm going to box you out of a position here. I'm going to take Marcus Epps. I want your safety room to just look awful. So I'm going to take Marcus Epps. I've got the Eagle starting safety pairing.

You know, the other thing that I think this helps me with is I think you're probably Googling right now, free agent safety is like you're going to try to figure out. As if I haven't already Googled that. You're going to have to figure out what to do at that position and that protects me at other spots as well. That's fine with me.

Thank you for that. I'm going to take a pick that will surprise you. I think I have another. one that'll surprise you two coming out. But in a world where we're looking for some offensive upside, we have been a little, just a little bit underwhelmed with the experience so far. But this is still a player who was worthy of a second round pick, so the Eagles have high expectations for.

I will be drafting Eli Stowers, throwing him into my lineup. You hate that. You have to hold your nose and make that. Not at all. I feel very good about that. I could have taken somebody over him if I didn't want him. Okay. This is where I have to make a decision. And are you watching the spreadsheet?

I mean, I'm in the spreadsheet updating it so that Lindsay can update the graphics. I was just like, I was just around one of the players I was considering. I was like, oh, Bo can probably see that. I think I have to just like write my wide receiver. I wouldn't call them wrongs, but just make sure I'm serviceable at that position again. So I'm going to take Hollywood Brown. or fear that you were going to take him off the board from me, even though, again, he's not necessarily at the top of the board.

I'm listening to my man Zee-B. I'm playing the man and not the board, taking Hollywood Brown. Yeah, that wasn't playing the man. If you were playing the man, you would have done what I'm about to do. And take what, Darius Cooper? No. I'm taking your boy. Because if I've got Eli Stowers on the field,

I better have somebody out there who can block at Tide End and give me the best block. locking tight end in the NFL, the heart and soul of the offense. Johnny Munt! I am just, I don't have the words for what I just witness on this show. Do you, Ken, Lindsay, can you go on me for a second? I need to talk to the audience. This man over here, he doesn't believe in anything.

He has spent months. Johnny Munt feels a role. He has spent months saying, oh, Johnny Munt probably won't even make the round. roster, Johnny Munt. Oh, let's calm down with the Johnny Munt love. And then in this game, all of a sudden, you're screaming to the high heavens. You know, the poor Sixers guys are probably recording ads right now. And they're hearing, then in the background, they're hearing about Johnny Mudd.

It's worthy of a draft spot. How dare you? Yes, absolutely. You have never been a believer in Johnny Muddie for a guy who can't block the combination of Munt and Stowers. I now have an actual tight end. Despicable. I cannot believe that you are going to sit here and try to hype.

up Johnny Munt after months of hatred. Munt. Munt. Munt. Munt. Munt. Munt. Munt. Munt. I used to think you had integrity. I used to think you believed in something. You know, scruples. Some of us have them. He is the perfect pick for my roster.

Yeah, but don't, don't hype them up. You know what? I'll keep this clip the next time that you're, you don't have Johnny Munt on your 53 man roster. You sit there and say, oh, been overwhelmed by the Johnny Munn experience. My guy, J-M-M-K-M-K-K-M-K-K-K-K. The Munt K? The Munt K.

It's been my guy all along. Oh, man, I really did. I thought that Johnny Munt would be waiting for me in the final round of this draft. I thought there's no way. I got Munt-Mugged. All right. I got to be honest, that really throws me off. I did not expect you to go there.

From here, I got to look at my roster. So feel good about that. You feel fine about that. I'm going to make sure you don't box me out of linebackers here. And I do. I like Jeremiah Trotter Jr. I feel okay about him as a starting quality linebacker. Maybe not, you know, the upside of Zach Bonner, Jihad Campbell.

I would have liked to have Jihad Campbell for, again, like that Vic Fangio system, having an offball linebacker that can walk down to the line of scrimmage. But I think Jeremiah Charter Jr. could play quality football in a Fangio scheme. so I'm going to add him to my room. Okay. Let's see.

I don't have, no, but you could pick a little bit. All right, I'm going to take a player who will start for me in the secondary somewhere. I don't know where yet. Could be corner, it could be nickel, could be safety. But I'm happy to have Michael Carter the second

adding to my roster. And I've got, I've got, four spots to fill in the secondary. He is going to fill one of them. I'll put him at safety for now, but I feel good about that. He would have been my next pick. This is the first time in the draft I have a regret

because I really wanted to box you out of the versatile secondary pieces. And for that reason, I'm going to take Jonathan Jones because I want to make sure that I have the versatile, talented secondary that I came in hoping to build. And yeah, I think that was a good pick,

the Michael Carter pick, because you needed that. I mean, your second. secondary is incredibly sparse. You have Quinyan, but Pinian can only shut down half the field. Now your secondary is full, although you can still certainly add one as your flex. You don't have any edge guys.

Need a linebacker. I need a starting guard. I need a starting guard. Both need a starting guard. And so I will draft the only player available with recent starting experience, the man who you disrespected. essentially spit on in public on all p.h.o.com if you're a diehard, despite the fact that he's the greatest basketball player of all time.

Give me his erinus, who, by the way, is going to absolutely make Jalen Hertz play at a higher level. I was going to say Jalen's going to love this. Give me Michael Jordan. MJ. He is not who I would have picked. Maybe the disrespect continues. I thought you were actually going to go a different way.

All right. I'm worried about... Actually, no. I'm not worried. I'm going to make my free agency signing. Okay. I'm going to address... No, you know what?

I'm not. I'm not going to make my free agency signing. I'm going to just take Arnold Ebikady as to not get boxed out of the address your options left on the roster. Okay. So, not the sexiest pick, but I feel like Arnold Epicady has a pathway toward being a decent edge rusher

for the Eagles this year. Having them as a starter, this is probably the part of the draft where you don't love the starters you're plugging in, but I'm okay with that. Okay. That's fine. Not worried about that.

I will... Oof. I use the pick on that. I can do that. I certainly got that on the board. I'm going to take the... We think that this is the next best offensive linemen available. There's a chance it could be somebody else eventually,

but this player is certainly the safest to make the roster. The fact that he's getting some guard reps in the spring, tells you that the Eagles are training him for some versatility. But for now, he will be my starting center. Give me Drew Kendall. Yeah, he was going to be my next pick. It's a good pick. I don't love your offensive line as a whole, though.

A lot of question marks. as to make sure that I don't lose the option to do this for the vibes, for the fun of my team. I want Willie Lampkin and I want to reserve the right. I can move him to flex at some point. I think he could be a secondary tight end if I want him to be.

I want the rolling ball of razor blades. So you're moving Kim Juergens to guard? I could. You're moving Lampkin to left guard? My plan was to move Jurgens to guard for now. and put him at center. But Willie Lampkin is just going to, he's going to have a spot on this team.

He could be the backup tight end. He could be my flex. He could be a starting offensive lineman for me. I'm playing the upside. But again, this is supposed to be an offensive line with movement ability. I can get out of horizontal stretch game, make running lanes for Saquan Barkley.

I feel good about Willie Lankin's upside in this group. Okay. I mean, I love Willie Lampin. Everybody knows that. I know. I wanted to make sure I got him before you stuck him off the board. But I would not have taken him any time soon.

Do I take a proven mediocrity? Or a complete unknown at a position is a question that I am dealing with. But at the moment, no, I can't. I'm not going to do that just yet. I am going to use my offensive free agent signing. And there were two players on offense who I had earmarked depending on where my strengths and my weaknesses were going to be. Okay.

And I feel good about where I've landed at one. And I think I could use, I'm happy with my offensive line. but this is going to make my offensive line a lot deeper and give me some more options and it's a player who we know is good playing next to Lane Johnson. I'm going to sign Mackay Beckton. Okay. I like that.

I'll go with my defensive for agent signing. I had no idea where you were going to go and I'm maybe I'm still doing some research on the offensive. You know what? If you want to find out who E.J. signs on the defense. offensive side of the ball, you're going to have to be patient. My friend So along the same lines is your offensive free agent signing, I'm going to take an old friend that maybe you're not sure if you're getting the old production, the old version of them, but a player that plugs a gap in my defense,

and we have seen this player reach some high heights in an Eagles uniform. I'm going to take Hassan Reddick, a free agent signing that fills out my eddresser room, and if you have any argument against Hassan Reddick, I wish I had brought the reverse Uno card for Mackay Beckton, because it hasn't been great for them since they left.

But feel good about it. Well, Hassan Reddick is like six years older than a guy back to this. That's the only difference. Hassan Redick also has way more track record of being a productive NFL starter. I think Redick is a good is a good signing for you. That's fine. Your edge group is bad. That's fine.

Have you seen your secondary? Nobody has. Because it doesn't exist. I've got the best corner in all of football. I'll be just fine. And who else? Doesn't matter. Oh, I think it might matter.

It's a weak link. The secondary is a weak link system. We've talked about this before. Oh, he goes, oh, please. Give me a break. Your secondary is going to need a break. Front to back, maybe. Front to back. Okay.

Am I worried about you boxing me out anywhere, not necessarily, but there's also not really a huge difference with those spots? I am. I mean, he's a fine player, right? I am going to draft. You still have your skill position spot open. I do. Your 11th starter on offense. And so I'm going to take the player who I think is the best.

Well, no, because then you're going to do that. You know what? I'm going to make sure that you don't make me start a bad running back. I'm gonna take Tank Pigsby. Because you could have, you could have boxed me out there. I thought about it, but it was just like,

I don't know. I think there is a big difference between Tank Pigsby and Will Shipley. Yeah, but like. As you can tell, I don't value that position the highest, though I was willing to wait for it,

but I'm happy to have him and not have Will Shipp. No offense to Willship. Um, I am going to just box you out. Am I flex? I'm going to take Keely Ringo. Special teams, ace.

And it's really just about trying to make your secondary look as ugly as possible. That's fine. You couldn't even get Keely Ringo? I'm okay with that. All right. All right. So then I don't, you can't draft another secondary person. So there's no reason for me to use a pick there anyway.

And you can't, you've got. Edge and lineback are left. Yeah. I filled both of those spots. You've got, I can't draft that either. But I could do that. So for me, it's either take a quarterback,

take the backup quarterback of my choice, or draft an offensive skill position player. And, yeah, why not? I'll take Tanner McKee. Okay. I think that's fine. I'm going to take a flyer on another interior offensive lineman, with my free agency signing.

As much as I love Willie Lampkin, I want to give him some flexibility. I want him to potentially be able to do other things in the offense, not be relying on him as a starter. I'm going to take Kevin Zitler. Like, I think it's a totally... Can he retire? I don't, I think he's listed as a free agent.

I mean, he is old, but let's see. Okay. Yeah. I mean, he's still, he's out there. He's out there. I mean, no, it says he plans to play a 15th season. Okay. I think, you know, you're, you're, it's a training campaign.

battle you're hoping that Willie Lampkin really shines. I see some people in the chat making comments about like how light my into your offensive line is. I think in this system you can get away with that. But Kevin Zitler as a potential, you know, break glass in case of emergency if Willie Lampkin isn't developing like we like, we can play him at guard, put Cam Juergens back at center, gives me some optionality. The only spot that I can draft that you can also draft is the offensive flex position but I don't know that I need to use it on a skill position player certainly I could add one of the wide receivers you would would you rather either say well Barkley got to get another tight end in here um that always sound yeah but you know what I'm

actually going to do I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna do what I think this team should do and and that is give ourselves just a little bit of optionality in case Mark L. Bell really struggles and I'm going to have Cam Williams added to my offensive line room as a potential other option at tackle. Okay. With my next pick, I'm going to just... I think we can just sort of fill it out now.

Yeah, but say, I don't want you to get so bored that you take my linebacker off the board for me, or you can't even do that. Well, I could. No, I can't. You're right. I can't. I'm still going to do it.

We're at the point now where we can just fill out our rosters. We can't draft anything anybody else has. But we can go through that exercise, E.J. Oh. In filling out our rosters on the Flit Squad draft, you've got one, two, three, four, five spots left. As do I. All of mine are on defense.

My offense is completely full. We will do that in. Blipopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopopop Blitty time. Oh, I don't like that. Did not like that at all. I thought you were going to go month time. All right.

Are you taking- Andy Dalton or Cole Payton as your backup quarterback? I'm taking Andy Dalton. Andy Dalton is your backup quarterback. Who are you taking to fill out your offense at the skill position and on your flex spot? I'm going to put Willie Lamkin in my flex spot. And, I mean, I true to form,

I have to be honest with myself. I just put myself into a bad spot here. I'm not putting Willie Lampkin in flex. I can't. Cam Lattu's got to be flex. You also have you also, he can be your running back to head and wide receiver. Yeah, but I feel like I can't have Willie Lankin as my flex

and then Cam Lattu as. You have two spots on offense stuff. Yeah, I've got, but I've got two receivers. Like I'm not going to be like Paul Dammowich and have like the 12 personnel team with Willie Lampkin rotating in. I don't know why we got to have Damo catching a stray. That's not a stray. Damo loves 12 person.

I don't know. It's like his thing. Is your running back tight end wide receiver? No, no. Latu's my flex. Okay. Latu's my flex. And who's your wide receiver, tight end wide receiver?

Give me, Darius Cooper, baby. Upside play. Wide receiver number three, he's going to step into a bigger role. He's ready. He's ready for it. Okay. Who is your edge? Hassan Reddick.

No, you have one. Oh, you have to still take one. Yeah. Oh. A. Hepha, H.A. Epenessa, I guess. I think that's totally reasonable.

I think that's fine. And then your lineback are you going to take Smile Mondon? Yeah, I'm going to take Smile Mondon. Smile Mondon. I actually feel fine about that. All right. I have to fill up my defense. I'll tell you a Smile Mondin story while you think through it if you want.

I'll never forget that Jimmy Kemsky a weekend at training camp last year. Jimmy's incredible. He's very smart. This is just funny because it was true at the time. He was like Smile Mondand and looks more like a first round pick than Jihad Campbell does. And Jimmy was so on Smile Mondand's island. Well, he wasn't. He went rid of it.

He was an island. He bet big. Yeah, that's what it was. You know, if he was the first one to call it, that would have looked good for him. It did blow up in his face. Yeah, but like he didn't. He wasn't on an island. We all thought Smile Mountain looked good the first week.

But he had to be like, he wanted to get out ahead of everybody else. Yeah, I did not agree that he looked better than John. He ran out in front of the pack to try and be like, I'm the most close on the time. It's a savvy move. It is. Yeah. Yeah. Jimmy's great. And there's only like six of us who remember.

So it's not like I bring it up on the show like once a month. So. All right. Which defensive tackle should I pair with Jalen Carter? I suppose the right answer is Byron Young over Gabe Hall and Ty Robinson? I tend to agree with you. I mean, you can make a case for Gabe Hall. Yeah.

I have enough edge guys that I need to pass rush help less. So I'll take the early down guy in Byron Young. The secondary. How do I fix the secondary here? I'll tell you what I do. No fixing it. My free agent signing, you go safety or corner.

I'm going to take a guy who, guess what? Did you think the Eagles defense was good last year? Yes, I did. You did. Okay. Well, Dory Jackson was a starting corner on that team. So I'm happy to have a Dory Jackson as my, well, please. Oh, man.

Dori Jackson. You tried so hard. I thought. No, listen. I could take the corpse of Marshawn Lattimore. Oh, man. I could take, I would have, I probably would have taken Rasul Douglas

if he hadn't signed a couple days ago. You know, Kenny Moore is more of an inside player. I could take Xavier Woods and move him to safety, you know, bring Slay off the bench. What I could do is draft is, you know, take Terry and Arnold and just pachshed him right into the secondary. Pair him and Quignan together as they were meant to be. You might have to wait a few months for that.

Listen, we're lining up tomorrow. We don't have to worry about that. But I'll take a Dore. That's fine. So that's one of my outsides. That's my outside spot solved. I was still draft one. Nevertheless,

I'm going to give myself some optionality. So my secondary is going to be Quinnian Mitchell. I'm going to take Cole Wisniew as the other safety. But, because I have a Dori Jackson that means that I can use a corner spot on

but I think the Adori Jackson pick I was laughing at it it was somewhat crafty for where you were relative to what you had to work with I still have legitimate, serious, serious questions about your secondary here. It doesn't matter. My front seven is elite.

Absolutely elite. And I've got Quinnie Mitchell still. So Vic knows how to paper over holes when he knows how the defense is going to attack. You know, if I just had 10 minutes, I could find a clip of you saying that the secondary is a weak-link position where you're only as good as the weakest link. And I could also find a clip of you just trashing, just dogging Johnny Munt. I just, I'm maybe, this is all relative. These are all relative to expectations

or the way they're being talked about. He's the perfect fit for my roster. What does that even mean? So your, here's your, and this is, the other thing you gotta remember is this is a head-to-head matchup. And so,

guess what? My secondary is not the world's best. It's fine. You've got no wide receivers to throw two. I got Dallas Goddard and Jalen Hertz and Seekron Barkley.

Yeah, and I've got a great spine of the defense. Yeah, we're going to be throwing a ball, Sequin. Your offense going up against mine. Andy Dalton, Sequan Barkley, Dallas Goddard, Donavian Wicks, Hollywood Brown, Darius Cooper, Jordan Milata,

Cam Juergens moves to left guard to make way for Willie Lampkin, Tyler Stain and Fred Johnson with Cam Lottu on the field, and Kevin Zitler competing for a job. I'm going to just tell you my defense, because my defense is going to shut that offense down. Jonathan Grenard. Jalen Carter, Byron Young, Jalick's Hunt, Zach Bonn and Jehad Campbell,

Quinyon Mitchell, what was a next game, Michael Carter, Jr., and Michael is thinking of Michigan, Magnet Williams, Nolan Smith, and Adori Jackson. You know that, it doesn't matter. You're not going to be able to advance the ball five yards, ten yards down the field

because my defensive line is going to absolutely destroy your offensive line. Your edge rushers are great, your defense attack or rotation. I mean, Jalen Carter is going to get that protection slid his way the entire game. Doesn't matter. We can run it byron Young. And then, yes, Zach Bonjohn Cable,

great linebackers. But you know, do you remember that Rams game that Seeklon Barkley had two years ago? Remember when he would get soloed up against his safety? You got the Gush back there. He's not going to stand a chance.

He's here to compete. He's not giving it. Oh, Cole Vesque, he'll be fine. Nobody's gifting the gush anything. He's getting to work hard. Okay? I have legitimate concerns

about the way your defense. Well, I've got legitimate concerns about your entire defense. is on the edge you've got AJ Finesse and Arnold DeBicatey with Hassan Redick. Yes. You got Moro Ojamo and Jordan Davis in the middle.

It's a great. And see the difference between my defensive tackles and yours is you can't slide either way with those guys. They're both impact players. Yeah. I'd rather have the pair. To them and not worry at all about the edge. That's a good question for the chat. Would you rather have Jalen Carter on his own or Jordan Davis

and Morrowajomo? Well, would you rather have Jelan Carter and Jonathan Grenard and Delix? I said your addresses were great. I was talking about the defensive tackles. But they're all part of the same group. Your linebackers, who, Jeremiah Trader Jr.

and Smile Monda. And here's the thing is that even though you over indexed on the secondary to try to box me out, you still have an unreliable secondary. You still have Rick Wollen, who the league mostly passed on and is an up and down player

who lost the starting job. You got Cooper Dijian, that's great. Yeah. But you got two major question marks at safety in Drew McCuba and Marcus Epps with Jonathan Jones and Keelringo. You're saying that,

with Cole Wisdeski, Michael Carter, and the Goosh. But that's what I'm saying is that this, the secondary for the Eagles is already a little bit of a question mark. And so you push those guys up the board to box me out. It didn't necessarily work. Especially when I've got Tanner McKee, Tank Biggsby, Eli Stowers, Devontesmith, Mackay Lemon, Johnny Munt, Markell Bell, Landon Dickerson, Drew Kendall,

the goat Michael Jordan, Mackay Beckton, Cam Williams, and the number one overall pick Lane John. You're like saying, oh, like, Michael Carter, you're saying that Marcus Epps and Drew McCuva, like, are question marks. But yes, like, can they start for a Super Bowl contender? I'm questioning whether Cole was Eski, Michael Carter, the second, and the Gush could start on any team in the NFL.

Those are different questions. I don't think we can just go, oh, that's all the same. It's all uncertain. Sean McVeigh would give his left nut to get the Gush. Oh, what he? Yeah. I'm out on this conversation. Listen, for your first effort,

oh, I did great. You did okay. You could have done better. I think I won. I know I won. You very clearly lost. No. But you'll learn and do better next time.

I won. I felt really good about this. You very clearly did not know. My team has an identity. My team does not have. We have an identity. Our identity is we're bad. No, our identity on offenses,

and we have a very good offense line with one of the best running backs in football. And on defense, we have a very good offensive line. What do you mean I don't have a very good offensive line? I've got Jordan Milata, Cam Juergens, Willie Lampkin, Tyler Steen, and Fred Johnson. That is a very good offensive line. A very good offensive line? It's better than yours.

No, it's not. It is. Did you think that Cam Jurgens was good last year? I think that Cam Jurgens will be better this year in this system. I feel good about this. I feel like you are, you are so excited about, about Devante Smith and Mackay Lemon as the receivers. That's the same argument as the safety one you just had,

but it's actually close, where it's like you've got Devante Smith and Mackay Lemon. We're not sure if that pairing is as good as it needs to be for this team to be a contender. Like Dontavian Wix and Hollywood Brown? But Don't Tontavian Wix and Hollywood Brown's going to be better? Yeah, but I'm saying they're all uncertain. The same thing you said about the safeties.

You are comparing Devante Smith to Drew McCuba. I would rather have Dontavian Wicks, Hollywood Brown, and Darius Cooper at receiver than Michael Carter, Kapana Gishicken, and Cole Wisnski at safety. Well, that's because your team

doesn't know how to throw the ball. It doesn't take much to beat that safety group. Sean Mannion's going to cook it up. This is unbelievable. This is... And you forgot about Dallas. It's as if you haven't been covering football

for a decade. You don't know how the sport works. I know how the sport works. I'm not sure you realize that the secondary has to do things on the field here with this group you have here. I feel great about the way this went. Bad job, buddy.

Although I have a request. When we put out the graphics, can we make sure that Jalen Hertz is at the top for both of us? Because where I do have a disadvantage is that Andy Dalton is my backup quarterback. And if you're just looking at the graphic and you see that Andy Dalton's at the top, you're going to be like, oh, well, E.J. lost because you didn't get the better quarterback. But we both have Jalen Hertz. Well, it's either we both have Jalen Hertz or neither of us has Jailen Hertz.

But outside of that, like, it's not like Drew Kendall or Michael Jordan are moving the needle relative to that group. I had to pick what I had available. Tell who? Byron Russell. I'm not, I feel good about my offensive line.

I feel good about that, them being what they need to be for Sequin Barclay to be the star of this team. You don't have any difference makers on office. This was a dog walking. You've got Devonte. What do you mean? You've got Devante. Like, as far as like the skill guys, like that's what you prioritize.

You got Devante and that's it. You have spent all offseason talking about this is going to be the year of Devante. It's going to have 1,500 yards. Yeah, and you spent all. Last year was the year of AJ. This is going to be the year of Devante. The Eagles think he's going to be Jackson Smith and Jigma. And now you're telling me there's not a difference between Devante and Dante v.

Wix and Hollywood Brown? Yeah, people talk about intellectual. They're going to be able to focus on him because you've got Mackay Lemon on the other side and he's an unknown. The Sequin versus Devante arguments were, I should be a shame. think like fundamentally we just do not agree on how to build this offense. You're right. If you still believe that Sequin Barclay is a more important player on the offense than Devante Smith.

Oh, important for the Eagles next year, that's a different argument. Yeah. Or any team in the NFL. With a quarterback that is capable of winning a Super Bowl, then yeah, I do think that Sequin is more of a needle mover than Devante is. Like if you put league average players at receiver and had Sequin, I'd rather have that than league average at running back with Devante at receiver. I think you're wrong.
