I am Bo Wolf to my left.
My man, Zach Berman.
Jamie Lynch, we have a little special guest to start the show.
It's going to be a long week.
And Oscar Boonehan, who will be calling this game for Spanish Radio, is with us.
How excited are you, Oscar?
Hey, guys, how are you?
It's a pleasure to be here.
Look, what else can you ask?
We're here at the Super Bowl Radio Row,
and I got to spend time with Bo
Unbelievable.
What a treat for you.
You know how to panther to Bo.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Here's his favorite guest in her.
Yeah, so I see Oscar every week at the facility,
and it warms my heart when he's asking about Swooper,
and he's asking, he listens to the show.
He's a big professor fan.
I do.
Big, big time professor fan.
So we're big Oscar fans here,
but we appreciate you watching the P.HL.I. Eagle Show.
I'll have to get you.
I'll have to get you one of the day news,
Sequin T-shirts. Yeah, I better, I better use one. I mean, we're going to need it for this weekend because
we're going to put all that analytic to big my home. Jamie, how you doing? Doing well. New Orleans is
great. This is awesome. The energy in the building's fantastic. It's Super Bowl week. There's little
news nuggets happening. We're going to media night tonight. I'm not trying to steal every, but it's just
like a, there's a lot happening, and it's great. We've also got Fran Duffy on the way down to New Orleans,
Fini Curry on the way down to New Orleans. So we're going to have all kinds of stuff coming your way.
but let's start with you, Oscar.
I want to know from like preparing to call this game perspective,
are there lines that you're thinking of in your head just in case it comes to it,
or you let it all just happen live?
No, no, no, definitely.
I mean, I do a lot of preparation on front.
I'm a big believer in analytics.
So I look at a lot of the numbers.
And look, the bottom line on this game,
what got you here is what need to get you there.
Okay.
Sequin Barclay and the defense are going to have key.
I mean, Fangio was got sent to us,
and he's done an unbelievable job,
and I believe those two guys are going to lead us to the promised land.
Here's my question that I'd like to ask some defensive players tonight.
Do you think if the Eagles win the Super Bowl,
Vic Fangio will smile?
I doubt it.
I doubt it very much.
So I'm sure he's going to be eating some,
whatever, some stramboli or something in one of his favorite restaurants in the city.
I mean, that guy truly has done an unbelievable job,
that defense that he's put together,
how we drafting the guys,
and him bringing them all together.
And the way they play defense, right?
It's a team.
It's more than kind of any scheme or everything.
It's a team defense.
The way they approach and go after the ball,
I mean, Sack Bond,
I mean, the way he's done, what he's done with him,
what he's done with Quinion Mitchell,
as well as Cooper DeGine.
I mean, since Cooper DeGine came to this lineup,
it's a completely different defense.
I feel like it's the best tackling Eagles defense
that I can remember.
Yeah, I mean, it made it a point of emphasis
in week four going into the,
the buy that we can't win football
games at a high rate at this level of tackling
and they did a great job of correcting it.
CB, how are you doing?
I'm great. I'm soaking this all in.
I have so many questions I want to ask Oscar, so I'm enjoying this.
You can start by taking your credential off.
Oh, oh, bad boy.
No, you guys are below the table. You're all right.
You're low the table, below the table.
That's okay. It's okay. Don't let it mess up the hair, though.
I got to be careful with that.
You've got to be careful with the hair.
Yes, yes.
Yeah, no, I'm always curious, and we hit on this a lot last year at the Super Bowl for those who watched us.
When we have guests on, I'm not just interested in what they know about the team, but kind of who they are, right?
So how does one become the Spanish voice of the Philadelphia Eagles?
Thank you, Zach.
Look, it's, first of all, a huge fan of you guys.
I mean, you talk about preparation.
I listen to the show to prepare for the show.
So thank you so much for everything that you bring.
You're welcome.
I knew that was coming.
I knew that was coming.
Look, look, the reality is that I started this when I was very little, where I was very young.
When I was 18 years old, I moved from Venezuela.
I was born down in Caracas, Venezuela.
My grandparents are originally from Cuba, so they moved from Cuba to Atlanta.
So Atlanta was like my second home, so I would come every summer, and I became a student of the game.
And I remember being at Fulton County Stadium.
I'm saying my age right now.
And I saw that huge green defense, and I fell in love.
I mean, I fell in love with the Eagles.
Since that time, I've been a huge Eagles fans.
And one of the things that I did when I was going,
remember that David Archer and some of those bad Falcons teams that go way back,
I would go in and watch the game at the top of the stadium,
and I became friends with a lot of the coordinators,
and they were teaching me the game, and I became a student of the game then.
No, I'm jealous.
And then when I moved down to South America,
I started working at Procter & Gamble.
I study marketing and graduated from my MBA,
started working at PNG.
I began to do the games in Spanish,
initially in Venezuela,
and then in the initial stages of ESPN Deportes,
I became the boys of the NFL for ESPN Deportes.
So this is like my, whatever,
13th or 14th Super Bowl that I do.
Wow.
But there's nothing like doing it for your team.
I mean, what we did two years ago in Phoenix,
what I'm doing this year here,
and look, you know how Ceaula Españo,
we bring the passion.
We bring the magic, the passion.
I mean, together with Ricky Ricardo, we basically bring it every week,
and we just leave the game.
I mean, that's the bottom line.
And so I've been doing this for a long time.
I had to stop because I moved down from working PNG for about 10 years.
I moved to Coca-Cola in Atlanta, and I started doing sports and entertainment worldwide
doing marketing for Coca-Cola.
Then I came to Philly, to Aramark, to one of the local companies.
And then after finishing that, the Phillies call me.
The Eagles call me, and here we are.
This is my fourth season with the Phillies and the Eagles.
Two years ago, I went to the World Series, and I went to the Super Bowl within a fourth span period.
Hopefully this time is different, and we have a different history, and we're able to win both a Super Bowl this year,
and later on the year we can win the World Series.
Now, this season has certainly given you a lot of big moments, big opportunities to call.
I mean, 9, 60-plus yards, Sequin Barclay runs.
Do you have a favorite?
Yeah, I mean, look, the one, the Snow game, I mean, definitely that that was against the Rams.
That was that run that he made at the end of that game, that was unbelievable.
Last run against the snow.
I think he's his favorite play, and that was so, I mean, you brought everything in there.
I mean, everything, the team, I actually call it a, when I call the game, I said, this is game.
Well, it wasn't game.
I mean, it was not game.
So they did their part.
I mean, Stafford did this part to come back, but look, the reality is the combination of Barclay together with Jailam Carter and what Fandu has done with that defense has brought us here.
And look, I believe this is a much better team than it was two years ago, and it's much better prepared.
And look, if Jalem can replicate what he did two years ago, they'll win.
There's no way we lose this game.
That's a lot to ask, though.
That was the best game of his career probably.
Well, and the second one was last week, so it's possible.
Anything is possible.
It's certainly possible.
I don't think he needs to even play that well.
Well, he's been a big game player.
True.
So throughout his career and look, I'm hoping it's no difference.
If he plays, the way he play there, there's no way the chiefs are coming here and beating the Eagles.
Zach, what do we have coming tonight?
So tonight is opening night.
Set the scene.
Yeah.
So over at the Superdome, it will be every player, every coach, every executive.
basically everyone in the media who's here,
they all go.
And it's really, when you think about Super Bowl media,
you typically don't think about what happens
the next three days when it's like bleary-eyed players
sitting at a table hearing us ask
specific questions about the game or themselves.
You think about...
A sombrero and San Diego.
Yes, yeah.
You think about like the sideshow and all that.
That's the Super Bowl media night.
So that's one thing that comes up.
But it's also important to convey to the ardent listeners to like the hardcore loyal fans
that a big part of tonight too is a chance to speak to people who this is their only time,
perhaps all season that they're speaking.
For instance, Jeffrey Lurie, we should be able to speak to Jeffrey Lurie tonight, the Eagles owner.
How well?
Yeah.
So like I look forward to when the Eagles are in the Super Bowl to have this,
to have an hour of unfettered access.
with Jeffrey Lurie.
And you go on down the list and some people behind the scenes who, you know,
who don't typically meet with reporters, whether it's, you know,
assistance in the front office, for instance.
I mean, you can talk to the coordinators.
So I'm really looking forward to that component of it.
But for the fans, you know, you'll see certain reporters like play games with the guys up there.
There are 11 players.
Don't throw shots at people playing games with the players.
I mean, might be.
might be in my in my place i meant like physical games like you know like though like like can you
make this basket that kind of thing but no bow wants to go in and play mind games with me with the chiefs
yeah well last year both did go around and he did ask everyone if they pee standing up or sitting
down and um i think that's not a either or it's how would you ever pee sitting down
would you ever it's not let's no one no it's only ever being sitting down okay no it's not
prefer it's never been preferred okay it's would you ever it's it's it's
It's your dogmatic
opposal to never, ever, ever in my life
would I dare do that?
Well, first of, I think never is a curse for it.
Don't say never.
You know, you never know.
Right?
No, seriously.
Never's a curse for.
All of a sudden, he's changing his tune.
No, but no, I don't know
why one would.
It's inefficient.
But I actually think
most of the players last year were
on my side.
I actually don't think that that's right.
As was Brandon Brooks.
Of course, Joey agrees with
you. Yeah. Because she's
being honest.
She remembers.
All right. Enough. Oscar, we have a super chat
to let us know from Frank Barber who says
he sends your Spanish calls to his Cuban in-laws all the time.
He is slowly converting them to Philly fans.
You are the best.
Thank you. Thank you so much. I mean, you wouldn't imagine how many fans we have
from all over the world. Yeah, I was going to ask you that.
I mean, we have probably 50, 60 countries around the world.
I mean, there are people from Paraguay that I've never heard before, sending messages.
We're here looking and watching your game, listening to your games.
I mean, it's a, it's a beautiful thing.
And look, it's, this is the, I mean, you cannot ask for a better platform.
I mean, this is the opportunity to be able to build fans from all over the world.
I mean, you see the game is expanding.
We're going to go to Australia.
Have you given that news already or not yet?
I'm working on my accent so I get it perfect for that.
All right, all right.
I'm not playing with that accent, but look, it's going to be, I mean,
from Australia to all over the world.
I mean, we have fans from New Zealand, from Thailand,
I mean, from all over the world that listens to the game,
both in Spanish and in English.
And to me, look, part of my responsibility is to help build the Eagles fan,
the Phillies fan, everything that happens in Philadelphia.
It's, I view that that is my responsibility.
So that's what we're trying to do.
I was curious about that.
So, you know, the NFL has international,
the teams have international rights in certain countries.
and markets, the Eagles, for instance, Australia, New Zealand, Ghana.
I guess what's the Spanish-speaking Eagles fan base like?
Have you seen it grow over these past 14 years?
Is it centralized in Philadelphia and in the Philly area or is it more overseas?
So get an idea of this.
There's about 65, 70 million NFL fans in the U.S.
They're 20 million fans in Mexico.
Wow.
Okay?
And there is about 15 million fans in Brazil.
And we just went to Brazil.
And you see the expansion of the NFL.
I mean, I was talking to the head of marketing for the Eagles a few months ago.
And I said, look, I think the next game is going to be either in Japan and Australia.
Because it makes sense.
I mean, Jordan Milata.
I mean, what a better marketer than the NFL games.
They have the rights.
They're broadcasting.
and what happened with the rights is you treat it like a local market, like it would be in Philly.
So you can have your own radio broadcasting team from Australia broadcasting the team for the Eagles in the market.
That's what happens.
Mexico has about 12 teams, so I think it's so crowded and clutter that is very hard to differentiate yourself.
But I believe both the Eagles going to Asia as well as the Rams.
The Rams also have rights to China, for example.
They have rights to New Zealand and Australia.
I think they're in a unique opportunity to be able to build that fan base,
and because they play Australian rugby,
the difference between Australian rugby and the NFL,
there's a lot of similarities there is a tremendous opportunity to grow the game.
Maybe Australian Eagles play-by-play guy is my calling.
Hey, how about that?
Why do you say that, though?
I will humor you for a second.
Why do you say that?
Sounds like fun.
Have you been to Australia?
I lived in Australia
I did my semester abroad in Australia.
You strike me as a semester abroad
in Australia kind of guy.
Okay.
Spend time at Bode Beach?
I believe you're thinking of Bondi, but that's...
Okay, you say tomato, I say tomato.
Yes, it's a wonderful country.
Have you ever been?
I have, actually.
I went as part of a journalism program.
to study the Australia, to survey the Australian journalism structure there.
And I went in 2007, right before I interned at the Inquirer.
I spent five days in Melbourne, five days in Sydney.
And one of my regrets was that beyond the educational component of the trip,
you could have an add-on that you could go to the Great Barrier Reef.
But I was like, I've got to get back for my internship.
I got to get back to my internship.
But when am I ever going to...
Nothing of that is surprising.
When am I ever going to be by the Great Barrier Reef again?
So I wish that I had taken.
I actually think that that's personal growth that you even regret that.
Yeah, I regret that because, you know, life's about experiences, right?
And I missed that experience.
But being in Australia was amazing.
And I was able to meet some fascinating people.
Yeah, I would love to have the opportunity to go back again.
But the long flight, I sat in the middle seat of the middle.
So I flew to LA, all right, and then from L.A. to Australia, and it was like 3-4-3, okay?
Yeah.
And I sat in the middle of the four.
Right.
And I don't want to get into, like, the people on both sides of me, but I'll say there was one person who she fell asleep on my shoulder before the plane took off.
And I didn't want to wake her up.
And I couldn't, like, reach down to get my books that I brought.
I couldn't, I couldn't, I could barely change what was on the set top in front of me.
So I just watched whatever was going on.
And I was, I was like a-
Go through life, man.
What do you mean?
Everywhere you go, you have a story like this.
I had a, on a flight down here, the woman in the aisle fell asleep hard on it.
And I had to go number one.
Pretty bad.
I had to wait.
It's horrible waking somebody up on a flight.
But you know what?
If you sit in the aisle, that's pretty bad.
I know, and I waited as long as I could, but, you know, I had to give her the old.
I'm an aisle-seater.
I am an aisle sitter.
No, I hate the aisle.
My elbows get knocked by the car.
I don't usually have that problem.
But because, you know, it allows me more space to write.
If I'm sitting by the window, it's like, you can't write right as much.
So, but I don't mind when people have to get up because it's part of the contract to sitting in the aisle, right?
Where do you sit, Oscar?
No, I seat an aisle.
Absolutely.
I learned a long time ago.
that you got to be in the aisle.
You need to have that flexibility going in and out.
Yeah, I would much rather be woken up to get up for someone else to go
than to have to be the one waking other people up.
I mean, the worst part is part of the responsibilities of traveling around the world.
I remember one trip from Brazil to Miami.
They sat me on a middle seat.
Oof. Overnight.
I mean, I couldn't even move, but I needed to go to one.
It was, look, wake up, I'm out of here.
I mean, those are the tough ones.
All right.
Oscar Budahen.
Thank you so much for taking the time.
Thank you so much.
Good luck this week.
Very much.
Fly goes fly.
Good luck.
Yeah.
This is our world.
Thank you, Jamie.
We'll be listening.
And a shout out to Nick Pocone is his name?
Oh, he's the best.
Yes.
Like every time we get the highlights and the Spanish radio call overlaid.
I call him.
I will watch every single one of those.
I call my MVP.
He's the best.
Thank you, Oscar.
Thank you, guys.

financial credit union.
Zach, a little bit of news since we last spoke.
Brandon Graham, we're thinking, like, definitely going to play?
Yeah, so the Eagles released an injury report on Friday.
And what's interesting about this is the report was based on if the Eagles would play a game that Sunday, right?
Not for the Super Bowl, but had there been a game yesterday.
Love a theoretical injury report.
Yeah, yeah.
And I don't know if.
Chip Kelly would hate that.
I don't know if the team liked it either.
But basically, if there was a.
any mystery, for instance, about Landon Dickerson or Cam Juergens' status, there's no mystery
anymore.
They would have played in that game, so they're going to play next week.
Now, Brandon Graham is listed as questionable on there.
I would think, given the fact that Brandon Graham is listed as questionable for a game that would
have been yesterday, Brandon Graham is going to play next week, and he's basically said as much,
but it's certainly progressing in that direction.
They would have had every starter eligible for that game, you know, who's on the 53, like
not Nicobie Dina, obviously.
but 153.
So nothing to worry about health-wise for the Eagles.
We'll see how Kenny Gainwell he needs to continue to recover.
But in terms of the starters.
And then Kansas City also clean health there.
Sky Moore would have been doubtful for the game.
But other than Sky Moore...
It could make the difference.
You boy.
He did score a touchdown in the last game.
And then, yeah, I would say you and I had a chance to speak to Howie Roseman and Nick
Siriani on Saturday.
We had nice conversations there.
that we can get into and then we did something for our YouTube channel before but Miles Garrett
on the trade market too so uh or he wants to be traded so this will be a bit oh and the Kellynmore
news continues to to accelerate the expectation of course is that he stays here as the head coach
for the Saints uh how worried are you about killing more Jamie losing him yes um I mean I just
think consistency it's not necessarily him it's just the consistency issue i think is more the thing i mean
because what that's going to be five or four offensive coordinators for jalen hertz in his time here
if you go back to jalen hertz his freshman year at albama yeah he would only have the same coordinator
in back-to-back years one time and that was Shane stuykin from 21 to 22 like that's crazy or i'm sorry
22 yeah yeah 21 22 um so why you taking a photo of me that's weird that's not that weird
You know, Chris asked us to take photos throughout the week,
and I figure I should take photos of you.
Not while we're on a live show.
It's an enjoyable sound, the click in the road.
It's really nice.
Yeah, the feedback, the tactile feedback of an old school.
Of an old school camera, fantastic.
You know how inefficient old school cameras are?
You got to go and develop them.
You're rolling your eyes.
Is that a bit, or is that like you're actually angry at the idea of displacement cameras?
I'm not angry at the idea.
I mean, I think it's put it.
Yeah, if you think about it, one area where technology is really improved is cameras.
a lot.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think that's indisputable.
Well, that the technology has improved, yes.
Yeah, what is technology improved?
Cameras is one thing technology is significantly improved.
Now, Zach, this morning.
Yeah, but then you get to the quality of the photos.
So at credential pickup, big technological, weird, big brother.
Yeah, you want to talk about dystopian, yeah.
How do you feel about the facial recognition software that was used at credential pickup?
Because it detects you.
It is the same at Lincoln Financial Field.
It detects you with like a scary amount of time.
Why does this worry you?
It's just weird.
Like, you just want everybody to like.
So I can just be facially recognized everywhere I walk on this planet.
Are you hiding something?
I honestly, on the first of nine shows this week, I don't think we should walk down the path.
Fair enough.
I'm cool with that.
I think that is probably for the best.
Agreed.
But, yeah, to your point, I think it's kind of the deal.
Like, if you're a team this good and you have a good offense,
you're probably going to lose offensive.
Yeah, and it's nice that Vic, it appears kind of locked here for a long run.
I don't think he wants to go anywhere.
So if you can keep one of the two stable, that's fine.
I'm not, like, overly sweating, losing Kellynmore.
I think the big question's going to be if they go outside the system again
or if it's an internal promotion.
The internal promotion did not work out well last time.
Now, I've been on record saying this.
I don't think, I think Brian Johnson got too much blame there.
Sure.
I think Nick had a lot of control there.
I think J-Wan had a lot of control there.
But we've discussed this that the timeline to hire a coordinator is much difficult after the Super Bowl.
It's brutal right now, yeah.
So I'm curious to see which path they go.
A super chat, Zach, from Jack, who says not to sour the mood, but thoughts on Kellyn's status with the Saints in light of news about their top execs.
this feels like more of a distraction.
What a terrible organization.
Yeah, so I, admittedly, I saw the headline.
I did not read the story.
I had not read it yet either.
So I don't have sufficient information to, like, give an opinion there,
but certainly whenever you join an employer,
you want to feel comfortable about the company.
I think his question is maybe more,
because this is now in the news,
and Kellyn is probably going to be asked about it all week.
Do you think they have a distraction?
Oh, yeah.
No, oh, I'm sorry.
I thought I thought I was referring to the story about the Catholic Church.
It is, yes.
Oh, okay.
But that's, yeah.
So just him getting the question?
Yeah, I mean, look, I've been around, I don't profess to know Kellynmore well, but I've been around Calham more well.
I've been around Callum more for a season.
I've been around Calummore for a season.
No, I haven't seen Conclave yet.
I don't watch much TV during the season.
I want to watch Paradise.
I've read good reviews on that, but I don't watch TVs during the season.
much TV going to season. Conclave is a movie. I saw it on Peacock. So, as I was saying,
that Kellamore is really good at avoiding a question if he doesn't want to answer it. And I think
Kevin, I think Kelmore will definitely avoid most topics about the Saints, including that one.
We had another super chat that is no longer in my feed here. Well, evil Zach Berman says,
I hate technology. My house doesn't have electricity. That's a super chat. But there was another one
about Julia, can you remind me?
Sorry.
What's that?
Maddo?
Maybe.
No, it was earlier than that.
It was before the Killinmore one.
Oh, yeah, well, let's talk Miles Garrett.
I would do dirty, vile things to get Miles Garrett and Eagles Green.
That'll do it, by the way, for the Lockhart Room report.
What is realistic to you, Jamie?
I mean, I...
Would you do...
I think you're starting with three first.
Let's say, I don't think it's three firsts.
I don't think it's first and two seconds.
Something in that ballpark, right?
I don't even think it's going to be that.
I don't think it's going to be a first, a conditional first,
like one that's dependent on his playing time,
that is maybe a second first.
What was the Kaleel Mack?
And then maybe a player.
Klylemaq showed two first.
It was two first.
I believe so.
Miles Garrett is definitely better than Kulamack.
Kliam was younger.
He was coming off some fantastic years.
I'm not trying to put him down.
But Miles Garrett is pretty much.
if not one than two in terms of best.
So I would think two firsts.
I think the age profile, Matt, yeah, look, I think they'll try to get two firsts,
but you're looking at.
There's also an extension, so Miles Garrett has a lot of hand in this situation.
Yeah, like if you look at when the Eagles traded for AJ Brown,
you look at when the Eagles traded for Jason Peters.
Those were 25, 26-year-old players, right?
It's different when you're trading for a 29-year-old.
So that's why, and then you add in what that new contract would be.
I imagine he would be the highest paid defensive player in the league.
Joe Banner has a really good pulse on kind of the way the Eagles think.
I saw him say on social media that he's a player of the Eagles would be interested in.
Definitely, you know, like the Eagles would be interested in it.
But he thinks, given the Eagles cap situation, it would be hard to maneuver it.
We've said the Eagles don't use the cap as an excuse, but this is like, this is different than just like signing somebody.
This is the year that Gieland's money starts coming on.
Exactly.
The Eagles are prepared to make some difficult decisions this offseason.
One of the things that, you know, when, when, when, when, when, when,
And we spoke to Howie on Saturday, and you said, all right, what made this off season different than past off seasons?
And one of the things he was up front about is they had resources this year.
You don't have the same resources every year.
And I think this is a year given the free agents that the Eagles have, given some of these swelling contracts.
I don't know if the Eagles are going to be able to spend $30 million on an edge rusher.
That said, look, you never say never with the Eagles,
and as Bo has aptly pointed out a number of times,
the Eagles are a Star Hunter team.
They are, no doubt about it.
I'm sure that they will be doing their due diligence.
The point I made to you before is that I think quarterback aside,
if the Eagles could add any player in the league to their roster this offseason,
it would probably be Miles Garrett just because of the way that the roster is right now,
like Josh Sweat, probably going to leave.
Milton Williams.
who's a good chance is gone.
You can't depend on him.
Right.
You're losing a lot on the line.
Bryce Huff, you can't count on.
And so knowing how much Howie Roseman cares about edge rushers,
I think he would love to have the best edge rusher in football on the gym, obviously.
But, yeah, they've got to figure out the price and they've got to figure out if they're going to be the high.
Well, this is where the Eagles being the Eagles, it could help them a lot in this situation.
You know, a modern day gold standard that they've finally lived up to.
They seem to, you know, be respected by players across the league.
That's a good culture, a good atmosphere.
they take care of their guys.
So Miles Garrett is going to have choice here with the extension in play.
So if he goes, you know, the Eagles are one of my top three destinations I'd like to be in
because it's a winning culture and they take care of people.
You know, that's a huge advantage.
This is a ridiculous conversation to have the week that the Eagles are in the literal Super Bowl.
I was thinking about it earlier.
But is there a player who you think would move the needle as a dangler for the Eagles in a
Miles Garrett trade conversation?
Good question.
So thinking about.
Tanner McKee, obviously.
No deal
Yeah you know you're
You're thinking about that roster
I think it would have to be like
Quinion Mitchell
Yeah
Right Cooper de Jean
Yeah probably like a Cooper de Gene type
You're not going to do that
Yeah I don't think that I just think
Don't even mention moving my boy Q
I know I know how dare you
I'm right here
The first punch of it
You know players sometimes have the ability to limit the market
based on the conditions you said.
I'm only going to sign an extension with Team X.
And I'll say this.
Miles Garrett was here in Philly for open practices two years ago.
And he was up at that podium.
I was watching it today, eating, or he's up at the lectern, not the podium, up at the lectern,
eating Rita's water ice, right?
Ooh, what flavor?
I didn't see the flavor, but I do remember those practices being hot.
And if you have Rita's on a hot day, it can sway you to want to go to a certain.
in place.
Okay.
I'm a, I'm a, what's the one,
the gelati where they do the custard and then.
It's nice.
The mistos are fantastic, a little cool down like milkshake with the water ice.
Okay.
Anybody would want to be here.
What about water ice flavor?
Lemon is up there near the top for me.
Cherry's like kind of what I did as a kid, so it's nostalgic to my heart.
Yeah.
Blackberry, if I ever see it.
Blackberry, okay.
Zach?
I mean, depends on.
Mango, too.
place that we're talking about.
I prefer the journalism flavor.
No, that's a, I don't appreciate that joke.
No, I, I take my water ice very seriously.
So, you know.
Do you want to tell the story of how you used to get your water ice?
I used to ride the bike.
Yeah.
Over the 9th in Washington, right?
Oh, the Johns?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And what I love there.
Without heavily knowing, right?
Yeah.
And what I love there is they have the, you know how good.
How good is there?
They had the pieces of fruit inside it.
That's the best.
So they would, and they have like the seasonal.
So they had the watermelon.
They had the melon.
I actually don't necessarily want the pieces of fruit inside.
Oh, I love the pieces of fruit.
It's like, because you know it's fresh.
You know, it's not just.
Well, how do you know it's fresh?
It's frozen.
How do you know it's?
You know that they made the water ice with the fruit, with the fruit.
They pulverized the fruit to make the water ice.
I appreciate what you're saying.
It's a good word.
We should use that in one of the headlines.
I appreciate.
Very active.
I appreciate.
I appreciate the pulverization of fruit.
Can the Eagles pulverize?
So wait, you would do a water ice trips in secret?
Well, I mean, I would take an evening bike ride.
We'd go on a bike ride.
Okay.
And I wouldn't tell her where I was going.
And I would, I lived in grad hospital.
Yeah.
And so it was like a nice mile and a half, two mile bike ride there.
I would sit there.
And I really felt like Andy Dufrain in Shalshank Redemption.
Like, I'd be, you know, and you got to understand, you have, this is the summer.
so nothing's going on with the Eagles as much.
So, like, I'm not losing myself in work.
And, you know, you had the kids all day.
And it's like my 30 minutes of freedom was driving,
I'm sorry, was riding my bike to Johns sitting there,
eating this, this water.
I really felt like Andy Dufrain on the rooftop.
Did you have kids or no kids?
Kids.
Okay.
All right, so you're skipping out on parenting time.
No, they had just gone to sleep.
Oh, okay.
They had just gone to sleep, and I would go out.
Interesting.
I would put them to sleep.
Okay.
And at what point did Emily discover this?
When was the jig up?
That this was what you were actually doing on your bike rides?
Today on the show?
No, no, no, no.
I think she...
I think she knew the whole time.
No, no, no, because she probably thought I was doing the school trail,
because that was what I would typically do.
Oh, yes, of course.
But what would happen, I think there was a time when we were going to Johns,
And I was like, oh, yeah, they have such a such flavor.
I was there on Tuesday.
And she's like, you were there on Tuesday.
You didn't leave the house on Tuesday.
So fun.
Yeah, so it was probably something like that.
That's pretty good.
Yeah.
All right.
Let's talk about the Game Ball presented by Xfinity Mobile.
Game Ball is proudly brought to you by our friends at Xfinity Mobile.
Join the millions who have switched to one of the fastest growing.
mobile services.
I have one right in my pocket.
Jimmy here.
I'm all Xfinity mobbled up.
Yeah.
Here's my question for you.
Aside from Jalen Hertz and Sequin Barkley, the obvious answers.
Do you have an under the radar candidate for a Super Bowl MVP?
Jalen Carter.
Okay.
I like that.
Defensive MVP's or game balls are tough, but this is Patrick Mahomes.
You know, you're trying to slay a dragon here.
So I think the defensive line impact on this game could be huge.
I think Jalen Carter is a good one.
I think this is one of the more interesting schematic questions about this week
is however the chief's going to handle Jalen Carter.
Are they going to try to let Trey Smith just block him one-on-one when Jailen Carter is on that side?
Are they going to double team him all the time?
And that means that Milton Williams could get one-on-ones with your boy, Calliando.
My boy.
Jailen Carter is awesome.
It was funny.
I had the piece up today on all p.h.oI.com.
You should become a diehard, by the way,
for, like, guys' favorite plays of the season.
And it was funny with Thomas Booker talking about the Rams game
because, first of all, Jalen Carter's favorite play of the season for himself
was forcing a fumble in that Rams game.
And then you have Thomas Booker talking about him lifting up Matthew Stafford
and then winning the game with the two plays at the end.
It's like all the things he did in that game in the highest pressure environment,
he is absolutely capable of just taking a game over.
Oh, without a doubt.
And look, we've seen it now two weeks going.
And I understand he typically rushes against the right side,
but I think the Eagles will do things to isolate him against Calianda, the left guard.
Yeah, I think you're right.
Yeah.
But I think it'd be hard for a defensive player to win.
It is.
Von Miller's the last to do it, right?
Yeah.
And I actually bet him that Super Bowl plus $1,600 to win MVP.
Good for you.
Because Peyton's neck was falling off at that point.
I figured if the Broncos were going to win, it was going to be on the, yeah.
So I think that Devante's an under the radar one.
His numbers versus the Chiefs in three games is pretty incredible.
It's like 327 yards.
You expect him to play a lot of zone.
Exactly.
So I think Devonte's one.
Look, the story of him coming back to Louisiana.
He didn't seem very interested in that.
No, but you know what?
He told me his favorite restaurant in New Orleans.
I got to look it up.
That was when I misinterpreted his or I couldn't like fully understand his.
This was when you were going down for the Nussmire story.
Yeah, Baton Rouge, great city.
But I've really enjoyed New Orleans so far.
Should we give the audience like a taste of?
Well, first we've got to wish Elias a happy birthday on behalf of Santiago in a super chat.
Rob also says Smitty for MVP homecoming and matchup
versus Chamari Connor.
You're madden after your own heart.
I mean, I think AJ Brown is also on the table.
AJ was the other one that came to my mind before I jumped to say Jalen.
He looked good last game, so health-wise, I think he's-
He and Jailen are the thumbnail for this video, so it's important that we mention that.
Come on, AJ.
But yeah, good job.
Either of those are certainly strong possibilities.
Okay.
Let's take a break here from our sponsors,
and then we'll let you hear from Zach on.
on his exploits on Burm Street last night.
That's not.
Oof. Wild man.
And how he got all those beads.

I know a lot of people can't name all theirs.
And you might be surprised to learn that 74% of people have subscriptions that they've forgotten about.
With Rocket Money, you don't have to remember every subscription or worry about forgetting any because you can see them all laid out right in front of you.

lovely dinner it was great Jamie Julia bow good company yeah fun kind of some rabbit some gaita
yeah I was proud of you Zach you went out of your comfort zone with the rat I'm an adventurous
eater it's not out of his comfort zone because well there was much debate it's what
What the waiter recommended.
Yes.
So if the waiter had recommended Rocky Mountain Oysters, you would have had those.
It's, you know.
And it's, well, it was interesting because at first for the entree, you had something that you wanted.
And he recommended, and you said, what's the best thing on the menu?
And he said the rabbit and dumplings.
And he said, well, if he says it's the best, I got to get it.
So you don't trust yourself, even though you know what you want.
But then when it came to the dessert,
You had something that you wanted.
She recommended something else, but that time you stuck with what you wanted.
So I was proud of you.
That was personal growth mid-meal.
Well, that's nice of you to say.
I thought the description of that peanut butter dessert, the magic shell part of it was, was, I mean, I mean, I'm like, what a term.
Talk about technology, yeah.
The magic shell.
That is technology.
No, it was a great restaurant, great company.
I really enjoyed spending time with all three of you.
It was good stuff.
I had the brisket.
And whatever those oysters were, they were tremendous.
Wood-fired grilled, or I'm sorry, yeah, the wood-fired grilled oysters.
I'm a big oyster guy, and so I enjoyed it.
I like oysters.
I actually, my honest take is I just, I want raw oysters.
I don't really love.
Okay.
Have you had the charbroiled Acme Oyster House oysters?
I have, actually.
They're pretty damn jo.
They're good, but I would rather just give me some raw oysters.
Yeah, but that's sauce that they had and you dip the bread in the sauce.
It was good.
I'm not complaining, but, you know, give me the choice.
I would rather just have it raw.
I think the audience.
Shimmy, shimmy, ah, shimmy, am, shimmy, yeah.
Joy is.
Give me the mic, you always get joy of laughing.
Yeah.
Seriously.
Can you quote that lyric, Zach?
No, I can't.
But Jamie's a big New Orleans guy.
I love New Orleans.
in Frenchman Street. Frenchman's a good street.
Frenchman's awesome.
Rank your top five streets in New Orleans, Zach.
In New Orleans?
Yeah. Well, Frenchman, if you like the jazz scene.
No Orleans. Okay.
I spent about three hours at a jazz bar by myself yesterday.
It was fantastic.
Magazines underrated.
Yeah, okay.
I thought you were more of a newspaper man.
Oh, that's, I was a magazine journal as a major at Syracuse.
What you might not have noticed there if you're watching is that he said at Syracuse
and he gave a very little bit sort of a sly thumb over to a different place in Radio Road
where they actually have a table for the Newhouse Communications.
Yes, they do.
And Zach Berman was giving them an interview earlier today.
Yeah, it was nice to, you know.
What a treat for them.
I mean, what a treat for me.
Like, you know, eager, ambitious college students.
And it was fun to speak with them.
You're asking them about Flip Cup?
You're not asking about Flip Night.
Didn't you?
Flip Night.
Flip Night.
Flip night.
So there was a bar of Fagans at Syracuse on Wednesday nights.
They have Flip Night.
And so you order your beer, and the bartender would then flip a coin.
And if you guessed right, you got the free beer.
And then, of course, you would tip the bartender, right?
But it was on Wednesdays, and my column with the Daily Orange came out Wednesday.
So, like, I was, you know, I had that free night.
Oh, that was your one night.
It wasn't my one night, but it was, it was, and then, you know, people would.
Oh, you'd get a little bit.
This is when you started to really get the feedback.
You start, yeah.
You got addicted to the positive reinforcement.
Yeah.
I mean, get addicted to the positive reinforcement, but you...
Let's be honest.
That's what we're all doing here.
If it's negative, you want that too.
Yeah, but who's coming up to you and saying, hey, you wrote a bad newspaper column?
The bartender read my column each week, and he would comment on the, on the column.
It was great.
That's part of the joy of, like, a college newspaper.
So actually, this is interesting because I was, it did not really track with me that you would be going to the flip night at the bar every.
every Wednesday.
Yeah.
But it makes much more sense
if you were going
for the feedback on the column.
I wasn't going for the feedback
on the column.
I was going because that's where
everyone went on a Wednesday night,
senior year.
Okay.
Yeah.
The flip night.
Okay.
But no, I was saying
Jamie was,
yeah,
big New Orleans guy,
awesome for Jamie.
I think this is my
ninth or tenth time here.
My wife did Habitat for Humanity
down here after Katrina.
It's our favorite city.
So, like,
she's very jealous
that I'm here this week.
I did a Sazirac museum tour yesterday by myself.
It was free.
I couldn't say no.
Nice.
And then I briefly hit Bourbon and then most of the time at Frenchman Street.
So I've been to New Orleans for work and for person.
My brother went to college here.
So I came down.
Tulane man?
Yeah, Tulane.
I came down twice.
I couldn't have gone to college.
AJ wants to know if we had any gumbo.
We have not had gumbo yet.
Obviously, we did have Gator, though.
But if you want a.
a story about me sneaking out for dessert.
Yes, I know. Oh, boy, do I ever.
Okay, so there's a place here called...
There's a place here called Camilla's Grill, okay?
Actually, the Mannings love it.
No wonder you love it.
And they have a chocolate pecan pie
that you get that real hot.
And they put a scoop of vanillaise, and it is delicious.
So there's one uptown and there's one over here.
And...
So you get it is this year. I say our friend,
Zach Berman, broke curfew, that I were looking for.
a little bit of that hot piquant pie.
So my family jokes, because we were here for my brother's graduation,
and I had been talking about this chocolate peacamp pie for, like,
I probably, like, more than the actual graduation,
I was talking about this chocolate piquant pie.
And I was saving for, like, the last night, okay?
Risky.
And I walk over there, and I guess it was, maybe it was a Sunday or something.
I don't know, but it closed early.
Oh.
And I got there, and I was like, I was like leaning against the glass.
I'm like leaning against the glass.
No, no.
I'm not from here.
You know.
Yeah, but I love that chocolate pecan pie.
You're going to get some this week?
I don't know.
I mean, this is, we're on visual medium.
It's a business trip.
So we have a super chat here, Bo, from Siriana's buzzcut.
And they recommend eating compare.
Compare Le Pen.
Le Pen, if you haven't.
I think I ate there last time.
Yeah?
Yeah.
Very good.
Did it stick with you?
I can't remember what I had.
But is it good enough to you want to go back?
CDP also says Andy Reid encourages his coaches to do something because governors will commute any sentence charged.
Are birds fans safe in Nola with Chiefs coaches on the road?
You know, usually CDP just hits me right between the eyes.
It's very good.
I'm having a little trouble following this threat.
I mean, I know what he
I think we all know what he's referencing
I feel like we've had some good
football discussion on the show so far
we haven't I'm saying
No we have yeah I feel like it's gotten really into
into the weeds I don't know what do you like
What are you looking forward to tonight now let's just say
After media night tonight it's going to be late
So the Eagles go 7 to 8
Chiefs well 7 8 to 9 Eastern time
Right
Chiefs go
10 to 11 Eastern time?
No, 9 to 10.
Oh, Eastern time.
No, there's an hour in between.
Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry. Eastern time.
So they won't be done to 11.
And we're going to do a podcast from our hotel rooms after that.
After the Chiefs or?
I don't know. What do you want to do?
Well, that's the thing.
Oh, you guys want to do the Chiefs?
No, so you guys can, so if I just won't participate if it's during the Chiefs one.
Okay.
Which is fine.
Look, we have, we have nine shows.
We have nine live shows this week.
So, and then we have a lot of, you'll see VODs on our channel and our social
Or say if you want, but then if, if, if, if, if, if, if you're going to have another live show tonight, is the point.
So, but if, if you're waiting to after the Chiefs, I will love to jump on.
Okay.
Yeah, it's going to be fun.
What are you looking forward to about Media Night?
Vinny interacting with his old teammates.
I think that's going to be a very cool thing to have, you know, one of their friends on the other side of the microphone.
Sure.
Asking them questions.
So I'm excited for Vinny and Fran to get here.
I'm excited to watch ZeeV work a room.
You know?
Yeah.
It's a big room.
It is a big room.
I'll be around Jeffrey Lurie tonight.
That's, you know, this is an important time to take Jeffrey Lurie's temperature.
This is the only time he will talk to.
What?
How?
How?
Wait, what kind of thermometer?
Okay.
That one was screeching hole.
Yeah, look, you want to see what, you know, he wasn't talking in the locker room after they clinched.
He had done that in the past.
So you want to hear kind of what he thinks about Siriani, about this team, about the Celtics.
Yeah, I know you're right.
Yeah, so Seriani's one.
And then some behind the scenes, people in the organization that you typically might just chat with off the record.
But this is a chance to actually get them on the record tonight.
So I will be less focused on players tonight because I'm going to have ample opportunity to speak to players in the coming days.
I appreciate the comment from Idiot Sandwich who says, enough with the Vodz.
Let's see some bots.
I think Fran promised to do the show Pantless from the hotel room tonight, so there you go.
What else do you want to ask, Jeffrey, aside from the Celtic stuff, which I do think is interesting.
Yeah, I mean, look, the...
Interesting and awful.
The decision to keep me...
You're basically wearing a Celtic shirt.
No, I'm wearing a great Ph.LY shirt that you can get on all pHLY.com.
So, first off, so the...
Look, the historical nature of, you know, now three Super Bowl appearances in...
seasons, right?
It's pretty great.
Obviously, the decision to keep Siriani, the decision to, you know, the offseason that
how he had, you kind of want his perspective on that.
I mean, frankly, the fact that he or someone who's had a proclivity toward passing,
and now they're a team that's gotten this far running, it's certainly not his stated
preference, but it has worked for them.
And, yeah, really his perspective on how they are, where they are.
I think he's important because as we've said all along, he is, he is the decision maker.
Like, he is the guy.
His opinion is the most important opinion in the organization.
Sure.
This was the super chat from earlier from Rob, who says, any chance, and Zach, you know this well.
Any chance we get Jalen two shoes on Sunday?
He's part of the new Jordan commercial.
Yeah, so he has a black.
out.
Yeah.
He wore that hoodie yesterday on the plane.
And the new commercials like blacking out the Jordan.
Yeah, this is something I've chatted with.
Something's happening on Sunday.
I've chatted with Joan about it.
Maybe he'll get, you know, Jordan will pay is fine.
It could be that.
Didn't they already say that?
They did last time.
I think the fine escalates the second time around.
Yeah, I wouldn't roll it out.
Jalen is very, I think he does like the jail and two shoes thing.
That's something I've chatted with about.
I've chatted with him about it in the past.
Nice
Tell us
Tell the people
What you wrote today?
Yeah so
So look
So I
I have a
I'll take you
Kind of behind my thinking here
Inside the mind
of a Zach Berman
So one thing I like to do
In covering the Eagles
in the Super Bowl
I've learned this
This is my third
Eagle Super Bowl
Is
Go small
In a certain sense
This is this is what I mean
Everyone
You know, there's so many reporters here.
So find stories that you can only know if you're around the team every day, right?
And so one of the – so I was chatting with Jordan Milada the other day
and just, you know, taking his temperature on a few different things.
And, you know, one of the things that came up was Frankie Louvo.
And the – if you saw the NFL films, Frankie Louvo and him saying, you know,
you're putting on for our culture, you're representing our culture.
And when people think of Jordan Mila – they think of a lot of,
they think of Australia.
Right?
Sure.
That's the story.
But Jordan, and I've chatted with him a few years ago about this,
his parents are Samoan, and he really takes pride in his Samoan heritage.
And it's something that he wants to try to amplify a little more,
but it's not the association that people often have with them.
And he literally has an official capacity to Australia with the NFL.
He's the NFL's ambassador to Australia.
As Oscar referenced, there's a report out from an Australian newspaper,
the Harold's son, that the Eagles will play against.
game in Australia two years from now.
Giorita Maelotta is the draw, right?
He is the most popular player in Australia.
And so he talked about this kind of identity struggle that he has sometimes with.
He is Australian.
He's proud of Australia.
But the Samoan part of it is very important to his father.
He said that to me.
Like, my father knows that I'm trying to do this.
And he talked about how he has this devious plan to like he's really trying to figure out
how he can amplify the Samoan part of it.
But he also...
Why is it devious?
That was the word he used.
He was smiling.
I just think he meant like undercover plan.
Got it.
But then he...
The reason I wanted to run that today is he was telling me he has a strategy for tonight.
Because he knows...
You know, for instance, he said last week there were a lot of international media requests for him.
And he didn't take them.
He's like, you'll get me down there.
Media night.
And so he's going to talk a lot tonight.
about the International Player Pathway Program,
the International Pathway Program, which is going on now,
which he was a part of.
He's going to talk about, he says he wants to talk a lot
about the growth of the game generally,
not specific to Australia,
although there are certain, like, Australian talking points.
Bluey.
What's that?
The Bluey partnership, that's big.
Jane watches nothing Bluey right now.
Honestly, it's not that bad.
It's great.
Oh, it's fantastic.
So, yeah, so I kind of wrote,
I thought it was interesting how, kind of,
honest he was about how he goes back and forth about how to do this that it's important
to his family i can promise you there are other stories that i'm working on that we will have on
all p hl y dot com we will have uh you know less bowen here he's he's he's going to be writing
for us that we'll have some some some more stories up up up there some will be like i got one
i'm working on about jeline hurts that that it fits fits wits we were just
talking about where you go small you only know it if you're in the locker room and then there's
someone like i'll do a hallie roseman story i'll do a geoffrey story that are that are
widening you know where you're kind of providing the perspective of someone who's around the team
and hearing what what they have to say mr putton work has a super chat he says the jordan blackout
ad is for the upcoming release of the jordan one that was originally banned in the nb a nice okay
yeah i remember actually uh nike paid is fine michael for wearing the jordan ones what was that film
the Nike movie with Ben Affleck.
It was pretty good.
Air?
I think it was air.
I like that.
Yeah, it was good.
Didn't see it.
Didn't see it.
You're a film guy.
Yeah, I'm a film guy.
Yeah, not a movie guy.
He's a film guy, not a movie guy.
I like a movie.
It didn't have subtitles, so both of them want to watch it.
I don't even see Ben Affleck cosplaying as Phil Knight or whoever is who.
It was solid?
Actually, no.
It was Matt Damon as Phil Knight.
Great.
Yeah.
It would be hard for me to watch that movie
and not just be like, oh, look at Matt Damon
playing this character.
I mean...
Matt Damon.
I mean, I would...
Honestly, it would be a good plane movie for me.
I would watch it on a plane.
I mean...
I had downloaded Dune 2 for the plane
and didn't get around to it.
Yeah, me too.
Oh, really?
Look at us.
I went half hour nap on the front end,
finished transcribing in the middle,
and then half hour nap or something,
maybe 45 minutes on the back.
So let me put you guys in the same situation
of the person I had to watch.
wake up. When we came down for a landing, I had my water bottle in between us because we had
the open seat. She asked me for a sip of my water bottle. Because she had... Really? Because she had the
medicine to take. Oh. That's bold. What do you do? I guess you say yes, but I think we just
give them the water. But it was like a metal bottle. It was like a throw away. If it was a plastic
bottle, I would have just said it to her. It was a reusable bottle of mine. Interesting. I let her have it.
I guess you can't say no, but
Once she has it, though, you just give it to her.
No, but that's what he's saying.
It's one of his, he's got his own thing.
Oh, it's your own water bottle?
Yeah.
Weird.
Yeah.
That's a tough request there.
Wouldn't she just take her medicine out in the terminal?
Yeah.
I was so like...
Wait 10 minutes.
Yeah.
I was so blown away by the request that I was just like, yeah, here, drink it.
Affleck was night.
Yeah, Affleck was night.
Oh, Sonny Vaccaro was...
Yes.
Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry.
You're right.
That makes more sense.
Okay.
Ben Affleck is either good or, like, horrible.
There's really no in between.
And I think this is one of his good-ish one.
Thanks, everybody, for watching on Fast.
Make sure that you check out the rest of this episode at all p.hly.com.
I was thinking about my playing experience yesterday
and whether I want to tell the story.
Oh, now you have to, Zach.
Please.
So there's this couple sitting next to me, okay?
I don't think you told me about this.
I haven't told anyone about this.
Oh, fantastic.
So why don't I tell all my friends about this?
A couple sitting next to me.
Look, a very PDA couple.
That's fine, right?
Handholding, thigh grab.
Yeah, you be you.
Oh, wait.
No, it's just, so the guy, the guy's sitting in the middle.
The woman sitting in the window, okay?
I'm sitting in the aisle.
The guy's working a fanny pack.
Oh, all right.
Okay.
What's in there?
I don't know, but that's part of the story here.
So we're about, like, midway to, I'm transcribing and writing.
enjoyed my lot
okay
I'm not paying
attention
what's going on
there
but the woman
in the window
seat
she gets
something out of
the fanny pack
oh
but out of the
corner of my eye
I don't know
what's going on here
oh you just see
an unzip in the
no I just see
I just see a hand
going down
down there
to the fanny pack
area
and I'm thinking like
don't look
don't look
but what's going on here
like
you know
it's going on for a little
and this was
Also, I need to tell you, this was a couple.
If they are listeners, you can email me at Zach at all at all p.hly.com.
I don't think they were listeners.
They didn't say anything to me.
They also, they twice, you know, they were, because she said, excuse me, she had to go to the bathroom.
And he was like, I don't want you to get up again.
Oh, he went with her.
Twice.
Yeah, they both went back.
To the bathroom twice.
Twice, yes.
Did you clock them after that?
How long were they gone?
How long?
Well, it wasn't that long, but it was like...
Long enough.
But between that and the fanny pack and there was drinking going on, I'm like I was, you know, I didn't want to look over.
I'm so glad this happened to you and not somebody else.
I did not want to look over.
And then the first time she got up to go to the bathroom, she said, do you want to sit in the window?
because I'm probably going to have to go again.
And I was like, no, I'm good.
I'm not going to sleep.
I'm good getting up, yeah.
But the fanny pack part of this was I was so confused by what's going on.
That is so, wait, so did you see, could you see the bathroom?
Did you see if they went in together?
No, because the bathroom was, they both walked to the bathroom.
You didn't turn around?
No, no, no, no, no.
No, I would have been checking that out.
Yeah.
But, yeah, I just, I didn't know he was wearing a fandy pack initially.
Because I was like, be cool, be cool, be cool, I'm typing what's going on.
What's going on that's going on?
I was like, oh, there's a fanny pack there, but, yeah, yeah.
Oh, man, that is really, really funny.
What age is it at range are we talking?
Good question.
Around our age.
Yeah.
Oh.
Okay.
Yeah.
He's like, he's like sleeping back like.
She's reaching for the Fanny Pack.
All right, good for them.
Yeah.
This backdrop is making me want a rainbow cookie.
You know, no cookies up in the media room.
Well, probably for lunch.
You're probably there.
Have you been there for lunch?
I went up later and it was still like just the leftover breakfast stuff.
Usually there's the mass-produced cookies.
They probably haven't rotated.
those out yet.
Do you like a rainbow cookie?
It's not my favorite cookie.
Really?
No.
Interesting.
I love a rainbow cookie.
Yeah.
You like?
Oh, yeah.
I like all cookies.
So I want to tell the audience, I checked out all your comments the other day.
I saw the guests that you want.
I can say we are working arduously to line up the guests.
And in addition to the two shows, a lot of the guest interviews will appear on our YouTube
channel.
So, you know.
Also, the flow of Radio Row Week is interesting.
Today people are sort of just getting here
And then tomorrow there will be like more
Football type people
Wednesday it's a little bit like the it starts to become a little bit more celebrity
Thursday is like the a list day and then Friday sort of
Yeah I actually I saw

The Press Box Podcasts once made fun of the our old show name so he's dead to me but
Well he didn't make fun I think he complimented it
He thought it was a clever
Yeah but it was just a good job
just after sheel got to the ringer so like shouldn't you have known the name of the show like

much better people to interview in future days.
So I'm like, don't waste your time with me on...
Welcome to the show.
We got Zach Berman, a Monday guy.
Well, I didn't tell them that.
I was just like, I was like, we can do this today.
Yeah.
Okay.
You got any interviews lined up?
Checking to me?
Yeah.
You're going to be all over the place here.
I got some national spots.
People want to talk to you.
I got some ideas?
No, no, no.
I mean, like, people who want to...
You got national people who are...
I'm going to go to Newhouse and tell them the real truth.
The real truth, you ain't go to Newhouse?
No, you're not dealing with college students.
You got your national shows to go on it.
We'll see.
I got a few college shows that have already asked me to come on.
I think what they do.
They know you love a student union.
No, this is no.
The feeling is mutual.
No, that's not what is.
It's a symbiotic relationship between you and the colleges.
I think they send emails out to everybody, and then I'm the only one who responds.
I didn't get an email.
You can get an email?
Okay.
Well, they sent emails out to me, and I mentioned other people.
It's like one of those form letter emails, you know?
Okay.
It's like they just read.
Yeah, they just read.
A little bit.
Give me something.
Yeah, they just read, like, the Twitter bio.
They're like, I understand that you have covered the Eagles for this place, this place, and this place, and that you wrote two books about the Eagles.
We have our set up on Radio Rail.
We would love to have you on.
And I was like, yeah, whatever you need.
Let me know.
Here's my number.
Yeah, we got a lot of fun stuff coming.
This is just a little bit of an appetizer.
So make sure you hit that like button, subscribe, all that good stuff.
And remember, we are coming to you live late night tonight.
We got a punchy late night pod in Nalans.
So maybe that's a good carrot to maybe extend it.
So we get punchy, Zach, but we'll see how it goes.
We'll make our decision there.
Stay tuned for that.
And then double duty tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday.
We're going to go 2 o'clock Eastern, 6 o'clock Eastern on all three days, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday. That's our plan. And then another show on Friday. So lots of fun stuff, plus all the
extra content. So keep an eye out. Should be content overload. Looking forward to it.
Yeah, tonight should be something. So for Jamie, Zach, Julia, and that horny couple on the plane,
we thank you for. Can we track them down? Get them on the show? Hopefully they're listeners.
Hopefully they're sickos. And then we can really make something of it. That'll do it for this
episode. We'll talk to you later tonight and as always we love you.
