To be able, it's actually impressive to draw booze at a championship parade. That's an impressive. I mean, there was, were like two or three false finishes too she was like just to close it out

like four minutes later lady I had in the beginning I thought she was going to go game by game and it was like very specific moments where like Dana is I was I was expecting like and then in that week 14 loss where C.J. Usama missed that block on counter I was just waiting for that moment.

Give us an ELGS SES please that was one thing that would have actually got that would have paid it off yeah exactly like leave into that who wants to hear from you lady? Oh man Unbelievable. I turned to Emily and I was like, I'm sorry, I got to go do the show. Like, like, I'm going to have to miss all.

I'm going to have to miss the rest of the speeches because this thing's going to go till 5 p.m. Shout out to Charlie with the super chats in BTA, BTA. BTA, that was pretty good. I had to, I had to explain to Meg, to my mom and to my mother-in-law, all separate conversations, what BTA was. And the same with Rachel. He was like, but why? I mean, it's like a whole thing. Did you see the clip of Milton Williams' dad?

That was fantastic. You didn't see this? Milton was dad. He's like up on the float. He's got the 93 Williams. I saw. He's doing VTA, but he's doing it to himself.

Oh, that's good. I'm like imagining, like a Shrel Parker did not happen today. That's how you would open the show. Like you're doing that. Potentially still early. Now let's talk about the Howie thing, friend, because you have been there. You have been up on the float.

You were there for the parade, you know, on the Eagles buses. in 2018, beers flying all over you. You caught one? I caught more than one. One was caught on camera.

Okay. All right. Now you get in how many targets. Describe it to us how dangerous this could be. It's very dangerous. I told the story like a couple months ago on the podcast that like Alshan was on the float with us for the back half of the parade. And he took one to the back of the head.

And we were like like Alshan, are you all right? And he was like, yeah, I don't have to pass protocol for three more months. So it's, it's bad. I mean, especially when you get to the point right before you get to the art museum, you're sitting on the parkway and the bus has come to a stop because you have to wait for everybody on load. So, I mean, it's just raining cans from that point, all from distance. So you have to, everyone I was texting from the Eagles over the course of the week,

I was like, remember, keep your head on a swivel, keep your head on a swivel, keep your head on a swivel. Obviously, we saw what happened with Howie today, but I'm in the mark, it's like, it's so perfect. yeah i like i tech i was texting like back in the head i understand how we like this one's coming at you well i was talking when somebody busted their lip they was like he he turned and didn't see it coming just turned right into it uh another guy who was on the db bus uh he caught one in the back of the head so it's uh it's a you you have to be wary when you're up there's crazy they were on our float very early because i mean that's part of the fun though i mean it's it's a huge party the whole time and i remember there were you know there were some uh some elderly people like on our bus like older people that uh

around the organization who were like, oh, please, like, don't, tell them to stop, don't ask them to throw. We're like, are you kidding? Like, this is great. This is hilarious. So, yeah, there was, you know, some people didn't love it. But I thought it was phenomenal back then. Let's go, let's go around and just describe what your day was like today.

How you watched it. We'll start with you, Fran. So Meg, Francis and I jumped on the broad street line and went down to the stadium. So we were at the start point. We got down there probably around like 830 or so, parade started at 11. So we got there early. We were like second row behind the boundary.

So we got pretty good seats. Through around the football. The time to wait for Francis. That was how was his patience level? Yeah. So we were there early enough that we were able to like, you know, go in the grass like near Citizens Bank Park and like throw the football around a little bit, you know, have fun with people that are around.

He's in his element when there's like a crowd of people and he's just playing to the crowd. And they all it's comedy hour with him. So he was loving that. and yeah so we were there i mean we were on the the first subway back uh and we were back at our house by like 1215 and so we had plenty of time to take in the the broadcast of the parade uh you know see all the hilarity with the guys uh there were that had a few a few beers too many that's a little bit too much dog was like every single one who spoke yeah it was outstanding uh and you know plenty of time for speeches so it was uh it was a really fun day how about you professor

yeah we had uh uh so my my mom is your town you're nicely done you're nicely decked out in fresh Super Bowl swag for the audio listeners. That's right. That's right. This is a different version of me. I don't have my laptop. Like, you know, got a, got a beer going there. Yeah, this is great.

I haven't even charted the film yet. You deserve it. I mean, yeah. This is a, I don't even know you anymore. It's a while. I know. I know. I'm going to let the film just wash.

I'm going to, I'm going to shower in the film for the next, for the next month or so. I'm going to go very slowly. But, uh, well, I mean, because there were only 21 defensive place in the first half, right? Incredible. Incredibly. I have to, you know, know, hold my nose during the first one because it was a successful play for the Chiefs,

but the next 20 were not. Yeah, it was great. My mom's in town. She's here in studio now, Evren and Emily are as well. We walked over to Logan Square, where the fountain is. They set up a big screen there, and we watched pretty much everything from there. They came right by. You know, they come right by there, and it's pretty easy to get to the boundary there as well.

I thought it was a little bit less crowded maybe than seven years ago. At least it felt that way. Jim Pearson is the thief of joy. Sure. It was just easy to get to see everything. Yeah, it was great. Everyone was two months old last time, so he was not with me in that chaos. And so this time we got to enjoy it together. How does this, I mean, you were there at the game, obviously. Yeah, incredible. How does this event compare just like in the stack rackings of the things that you enjoy as a fan? Well, in terms of the enjoyment, nothing can beat just like that weekend in New Orleans. I mean, it was unbelievable.

I mean, from the adrenaline rush of getting to the show on time on Friday, getting to be on Radio Row and seeing everybody, that was awesome. Having the rest of your life with that kid. That's right. That's right. You guys see how tall Greg Cosell was. That made me last time. I was very surprised. I mean, Cosell is surprising.

I mean, it's surprisingly tall. I played basketball. in college. Did he? Okay, well, see if I had known that. Maybe I would have...

I was surprised. I was like, that's Greg Kosel, except he's too tall. It was weird. But yeah, no, he's impressive.

Okay, not bad. And then, yeah, just the whole weekend was so cool. You guys are still working on the Greg Cocello. Tall, like hella,

Yeah. I saw them in 1994 for like $20 from the first row. And I know they're doing a reunion tour now, and you cannot get first row tickets for $20 this time. So I probably won't be there. I feel like the Gala, the Noel Liam Liam Gallagher relationship, somewhat similar to the Jalen Hertz, Nick Siriani relationship. They have come together, and I thought it was interesting to have Jalen really for the first time ever say something nice about Nick Siriani during his speech today. Maybe it's because he wasn't asked.

You're right. Well, take us through your experience. I won't very quickly. But just the Jailen Hertz thing that he said about Siriani was. He went on for a while. He went on for a while. He said, thank you for your intentionality, fight, passion, and seeing this. Can we curse on this episode?

Because they cursed so much, I guess not. Seeing this poop through. That is not what he said. I think the intentionality was especially good because I feel like he's almost used that as a backhanded insult in the past. Where they've asked him, like, you know, why is Nick so great or whatever? He just said he's very intentional. And it didn't sound like it was necessarily something he approved. Sure, and you could also like that...

I do think you're right that the words were very specifically chosen. Like passion is like, it's not necessarily the way that she only goes about it. And then seeing it through, it's like, thank you for not getting fired and getting us to the Super Bowl. Yes, but you know what? Good for him. So great. I took both kids to... We were like on, between like Christian and Carpenter on Broad Street. Got it.

And shout out to Casey who was like I got I got Jane on my shoulders and it was like I mean it was super packed It was like a real bottleneck And Casey was like he was my fullback He was just he was just weaving through Hold in my hand and then like

And obviously like if it's kids coming through people We'll give just a little bit of an inch of bunch I missed the stroller days for that reason Well we took that was the best thing about the scroller It was just a it was just a you know an umbrella stroller One okay and then like there's a there's a there's a school there, but you could only get in if you had like a pass, but we just, I dumped

the stroller inside the gates of the school that I could then come back and get it later. That was smart, yeah. And we went with a couple friends. And I was very impressed with their, their persistence. Jane was on my shoulders the whole time. Kiki worked his way up right up to the front. It's great.

And then they had a good time. What was he most excited to see? Oh, he was most excited to set off a little confetti cannon. Nice. That he was given by a friend of ours. But he was up there. I think Jalen actually came down right where we were. I didn't see him do that. But people around us were very excited. And, yeah, just getting to see everybody go by.

It's not a fun. You would be very proud that everyone was very happy to see Nick Gates and Fred Johnson. Like, they were very prominent on their bus. Were you fighting? Nick Gates was like short with Fred Johnson and chugging a beer. Fred Johnson looked like he was like the main act. Like he was like, like had his arms out. He's obviously a big guy already.

And he must have recognized you. I feel like we did make eye contact. Yeah, yeah. Oh, my see like a guy. Yeah, it's like, I always see at the airport. Or when I'm out eating. And there were, yeah, there were a bunch of guys walking down. I feel like Cooper DeGine was doing a lot of walking,

although it could also have just been like drunk and rambling. Couldn't find the bus, maybe. I think he was not seeing all the way straight. But that's okay. Good for him. No, that was great. Oh, I should mention also that we were with DFOPs, Kevin McAllister and Aaron.

and their lovely families. So yeah, that was awesome. Awesome. Yeah, a lot of fun. I mean, it's a beautiful day of like civic pride. Like everybody coming from everywhere, like whatever street you're walking on, you see all kinds of crowds,

like going in the same direction, all for the same thing in a very like peaceful joy. It's for the city. It is a beautiful thing. We were riding the subway back home, home after and there were we were surrounded by a lot of drunk Philadelphians and you know on a typical Friday after the midday if there were a lot of drunk Philadelphians on the subway I'd be a little bit worried about

I just don't talk to everybody he was talking to everyone to that he was it was the best time he like everyone had fun with him he had fun with everybody it was a great day I did you know there were a lot of clips going around of Sequin I mean Sequin is yeah I mean the guys is is the most popular guy in the city right he's he's he's he's He's been unbelievable. He pulls the ball boy up. Dependent depending on who you're talking to.

The population of the city minus one. You know, he's pulling the ball boy out. You know, shotgun and beers. Yeah, he knows what he's doing. Yeah. I mean, he's, I would say, as expected, everything you saw from him today, like, you know, I wouldn't expect it. As Sequin takes the mic, it's like the, it's like the dream scene in the Princess bride where there's just one person booing and it's day and is.

I have been slandered so much on the show. I don't even know why I... I mean, we all know it. I hope everybody in the chat enjoyed, everyone that's local. And if you were not local and you watched on any of the news broadcast, did you guys see the speeches

played back through the news broadcast yet? It's very funny. Oh, my God, it was unbelievable. they have to beep out stuff? It was so bad because they miss every beep. Like you heard every single curse word. And then they went so long after with muting it. It was like, mother effing, and you heard it.

And then there was like 25 seconds of silence and you missed the speech. We're really sorry that George Milata, he's really excited about everything that's going on. I'll be like apologizing for it. Ooh, Greg. Greg Co. Stilt. Yes, Greg Co. Stilt's a good one. That's pretty good.

like you're up there for a go ahead well it's like you got like the brute you know it's like it's like bruising on the shoulders like i had a little bit of that uh but i think i'll i had i had a lot of pringles crumbs in my hair jane was munching on some pringles and who we bought like some snacks down like to try and keep you know keep knock but we the people that were next to us they came from like out past uh past state college like towards like williams port so it's like three they got a up at 3.30 in the morning to get there first thing, just the outstanding commitment. But this woman had a giant book bag full of snacks and was like, we're not going to eat all these. Like, do you know what's up? And he, Francis had like cookies, pretzels, a fruit by the foot.

Uh, as the, where the parade's getting closer, he's like inching closer over towards the back. I'm like, no, get back. Get over here. Uh, but shout out to them. They came very well prepared. that's very funny the little group that we were in of friends of the friends that had like a thing of like a big box of cheese it's like 45 cheezits and then at one point she just starts throwing them into the crowd

like who wants cheese that's just like flinging them all around people helping people there we go for me it was such a cool extension of bourbon street Sunday night too because that was also like a community of Eagles fans not necessarily all local not necessarily all living in Philly but it was just such a great

like we walked from the stadium all the way to the Marini, all the way to Frenchman Street, which meant that we walked the entire length of Bourbon Street. And that was incredible, too. Like, I mean, just like people, you know, throwing beads at each other, like, you know, doing Eagles' chants. And that was the, like, immediate, you know, the thrill right after the game type mood.

And then today it was like a much calmer, relaxed, just kind of happy. You know, like you're talking about all the drunk people. I thought it was a more relaxed happy drunk this time. Oh, for sure. Yeah. Then maybe it was seven years ago when there was like this like like relief drunk. You know what I mean? Which can be a little bit more intense.

Right. Not necessarily not angry by any means. But, you know, I thought this time it was a little bit more like, yeah, we know how to do this. You know, we're doing this again. And I thought that was really, I thought that was a really cool, cool thing. All right. People were taking pictures with with Feldman on Bergman. Which were like, these guys came up to me and they were like,

get stuff, it's the effing professor. We got to get pictures with the professor. And so like, yeah, sure, you know. And then they're like, which one's Feldman? They didn't know what Feldman looked like. But once they learned which one Feldman was, they were taking pictures with Feldman too. The chat was on fire.

You don't talk about sneaky tall. That's a good one too. It's all drink of water, Feldman. The chat was on fire when you guys called in on Sunday night. And Feldman got to come on the show. The chat loved it. Yeah, I noticed I rewatch that. And I actually did a screenshot.

Okay, let's talk about some of the potential suspects for Howard Rosamund. I mean, you got Dylan McMahon. You got John... Where was it? What part of the city was it? Right between the ice. No, I know. I don't know.

It was not caught on camera. It looked relatively fresh. It was not caught on camera. It's very suspicious. I mean, with all the cameras, Listen, I had somebody else text me the same thing, but this feels like a fake. There are so many people with phones. None of them caught it.

Listen, that seems impossible. The cell phone service is terrible when it's there. So it's possible it was captured and we'll get this coming out later. I will say that, like, as the parade was going by us, I think like 80% of people were taking video of the bus going by. So it seems impossible that nobody got. So you think that there's a possibility that how we staged this? I mean, we didn't. know about the beers because like I think the worst way to actually watch the

parade is to probably be at the parade sure so I'll watch the broadcast later but he went up there and he yelled I bleed for this city and I was like that's a little dramatic I mean that's like you know like bleed I mean like you know I didn't even know yeah I mean it caught right somebody said they thought that maybe he tried to crush a beer can not knowing it was a full beer can hmm I would say like seeing the video of him walking off the bus it looked fresh so my guess is that it was at that that high volume area that I was talking about that's the most dangerous here the end here the end that that would be my guess uh I see some some suspects in the chat somebody says Christian Ellis is a possibility I saw Lou Riddick mentioned I thought it's

In which case, it's tough because, like, I don't know what a peck is getting you really for any of those guys. Yeah.

Yeah, you kind of need all of them long term, right? Well, I think you could make the case in one way or another that if Jeffrey's the owner, he's going to have a GM who operates like Howie. That's what he wants his GM to do. You could make the same case that if Howey's a GM, he's going to operate the same way and maybe the owner doesn't matter as much. I could be convinced on either side of that argument. But Stout, like, you know, one year of Stout's not going to do much for you,

but you might want him for the long term. I think probably, I think you... I think it probably nest Jeffrey. Probably. Relative to the other owners. Yeah. I think that's probably the most important thing. I think that's probably right.

You could do, that's the most important one, and then you go from there. Yeah, I think that sounds right. I mean, that's, yeah. They all work well together. That's true. So is there,

is there a potential Eagles front office underling who could have been responsible for the beer can, hoping that, you know, you're trying to, you're trying to pave the way to ascend to the GM throw. That sounds like a question for Zach. Yeah, who's an ex-man up?

I mean, if the worst had happened there, you know, what, I'm just looking for suspects. I mean, I'm not saying, yeah, I mean, you know, you got to be ready for any situation. Yeah. Yeah, I'm trying to think of who, you know. I mean, there are probably a lot of people who,

One of my favorite parts of the mic'd up was, is it John Ferrari who Nick is talking to in the headset? And he says, John, how much are we up by? Because the math was too hard to do. Like, you're up by so much that he was like, what are we up by here? 28? I love that.

But it wasn't the one he talked about it, it wasn't that he was leaning that way because he was ready to retire. It was like he was leaning that way because of the story, because of the fairy tale. And he mentioned Jerome Bettis doing it in Detroit in his final Super Bowl.

That's how he was talking after the game. But in the speech, he certainly made it sound like, I don't know, maybe he wants to run it back. I thought he said, we're getting ready for next year, but then he said, like, no matter what, I'll be part of this or something. Yeah. He was, like, kind of going back and forth. It's almost like he's trying to convince himself of one way or the other, maybe.

I was going to say, it's like watching an episode of Severance, where it's like, oh, there are crumbs either way where, like, if you go back, you know. Yeah, three months from now, we can go back at this speech and say, oh, we should have seen it coming because of that little line. Potentially. Yeah. Okay.

And this is what you expected to see. And for everybody else, it was like, see, he could do it.

But you're going to take your like eight months sabbatical. Yeah, you go. That's the summer. Yeah, you go on the way in the summer. We're going to go. We are going to travel.

We travel, but now we're limited by everyone's summer. So we can only travel for, I don't know, 11 weeks or something like that. So, you know, we used to go for longer.

But yeah, we'll be around otherwise. Happy to come on if you have me. Just trying to think of. I can't wait for green, green things, yeah. I can't wait for your draft stuff to be. What do we got coming up? Available to the public for the first time. Yeah, it's fun.

It's what I like about it. Like I was just, you know, I watched more guys. It was like late last night. Watch two players put it in. And they're in the database. And I always go and check like, all right, can the people, can the diehard see it? And it's it's all there.

So that's fine. What we have coming up. So next week is going to be all combine preview content. So the combine is now, I'm leaving a week from Monday for Indianapolis. So we'll do a draft show next week. Bo and I here on the channel. So you can expect that just like getting into some of the big names to, you know, and what you can expect from Indianapolis.

But yeah, after that, it'll be like all the combine reaction content. So I'll do some video for here. We'll have the print pieces for the diehards leading up. But then after that, I'll have a, I think I'll do a two-round mock draft for immediately after the combine. My first big board, probably do like a top 100.

We'll come out the week after that. And then we'll be doing like position preview stuff, specific prospect profile videos. Like we'll be doing, we got a lot coming from a draft standpoint. As someone who's been lucky enough to see Franz draft notes back when they weren't available to the, public, I can tell you it is worth every penny of being a diehard to have access to that stuff.

Thank you. I mean, it is awesome. So we do also need to tell you about the big takeaway presented by Conn Murphy's, our big takeaway. And to me, it's just that we're still trying to figure out who hit Howard Roseman between the eyes. There's really only two choices. It's that or Cheryl Parker wrap it up.

Stop talking. That was my takeaway. I mean, what I mean, she's going to, she's down bad. Like this is, you know. Again. I mean, no chance at re-election. It's very, it's very hard to draw booze at a championship parade. And that's, uh, she managed to get that done.

She was, she was going through every week. She's like, and then week five was the bye week. And then weeks six. And that's what she said. She was like, week five was the Browns game. No, no, no, week five was the by week. I had it up on my laptop. We had a couple of the friends were with me had it over.

I went to like go take Jane to the bathroom and then came back up and she was still talking. It was bad. What are we doing? Yeah. That's a big takeaway. So on behalf of Con Murpys, wrap it up, Shirel. That's enough of that. All right.
