Hello everybody and welcome to the PHY Eagles podcast on a beautiful Friday afternoon.
This is exciting.
We are here from the Xfinity Studio live presented by Ashley Bowulf, E.J. Smith.
E.J., we are in the mix now.
When anything can happen at any time, you got to stay on your toes.
Yeah, this is, we are, you're right.
We are in it right now where.
Oh, baby, we're in.
Everything, every time my phone buzzes, I'm like, what am I about to see?
you know there I've been faked out a couple of times in the last 24 hours like the Raiders are
releasing Gino Smith you know so uh yeah there is definitely a lot happening I think that we
can say that something could happen at some point during the show uh you know at least in the next
couple of days so it's exciting but also terrifying for a beat reporter in a certain regard well
that's okay how do you deal I mean you try to avoid feeling that feeling I know I don't I just
I just feel it.
No, but just terror.
Like, you don't watch scary movies.
So how do you deal with?
Oh, it's a different type of terror.
It's more just suspense.
Like, yeah, I mean, I'm not afraid of what's going to happen and just am waiting to see what happens.
So, yeah, like I said, every time, every time that my Apple Watch dings, which it just did, there's all, like, I'm going to constantly be, oh, what's going on here.
So, yeah.
All right.
Well, obviously, we will be paying attention to what is going on.
And, of course, we've got quackatology.
Continue on.
We've got 16 players left on offense, 16 on defense.
We are going to whittle that down to one winner.
So we're looking forward to that.
We've also got some news around the NFL, as well as some whispers going on with A.J. Brown.
Let's get to the big takeaway presented by our friends at Xfinity.
E.J., what is the latest with Alfonso Jesse Brown?
I know that we've been doing 60 seconds on A.J. Brown recently,
I think this is going to warrant a longer conversation.
And there's been a lot of reporting, a lot of rumblings about A.J. Brown.
Mike Garifolo was on with Anthony this morning.
I had a lot of really interesting things to say.
Diana Rossini has been reporting on A.J. Brown.
I think that it is safe to say that there is an urgency and a deadline for potential movement on the trademarker with A.J. Brown.
And it really does kind of frame it.
It's going to end.
The deadline is when the legal tampering period starts on Monday.
Um, you know, the sense that I get like from, you know, reading the reports and asking around is like the Patriots are going to want clarity on whether or not they're adding AJ Brown to their roster.
I think the Eagles are in the same situation.
They're going to want to know how players like Jalen Phillips, Dallas Goddard, those are the two big ones, I think.
How they're affected by AJ Brown's possible departure.
Given the cap ramifications of what an AJ Brown trade would mean for the Eagles, they do need to know whether it's going to happen so that they can then go about proceeding in free agency without.
in mind. Yes, exactly. So I know that there was a thought from some people that there's no way the
Eagles can trade AJ Brown before June 1st because it's just impossible and it's it's just not true.
I just let me just say on the salary cap thing because I've heard a lot about that and I feel like
going into free agency you will hear a lot about though how are the Eagles going to manage to do that with the
salary cap. There's like the bell curve the meme of the bell curve where it's like some people you know
the lowest IQ and the highest IQ and they kind of meet in the middle and the person in the middle is
overthinking it. It is not true to say the salary cap isn't real, obviously an incorrect
statement, but the salary cap is not going to be the limiting factor for the Eagles on most
things. So I think it can be oversees. It is also why Howie Roseman has to have such a high
asking price because in order for it to be worth it to the Eagles to not only lose AJ Brown,
but to incur all of that cap hit, it has to be really worth it. Yeah, and just a reminder. And there
is a way to make it work. The dead cap hit, if he has traded before June 1, which it seems,
is where this is going, will be $43.5 million on the dead cap, but they will save $29 million in cash
this season and $113 million over the next four years if they trade A.J. Brown. That factors into
extensions for players like Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Quinnian Mitchell, Cooper DeGine. It also
factors into, you know, we'll talk about a potential Max Crosby deal. It factors into that as well
because, you know, if Max Crosby does want to come to the Eagles, you can restructure that contract
and push the money into future years
with some of that cash flexibility.
So I'm not saying that the Max Crosby,
I have thoughts on the Max Crosby thing,
but sticking with A.J. Brown,
my like, T leaves reading of this
is this is really just a dance
between the Eagles and the Patriots at this point.
Diana Rossini reported that the Chargers
have interest as well,
and the Eagles are going to need someone
to have interest as well
to kind of, again, push the Patriots
closer to their side of this argument.
But I think what this is really coming down to,
my guess, is its posture.
between what the Patriots want to offer
and what the Eagles want for AJ Brown.
And Anthony said this morning,
he heard that Howie turned down a first and a third
from the Patriots.
Which to me suggests that the Eagles are playing this very well.
And I think that they have to a certain degree...
This is arguably the thing that Howie is best at.
Oh, absolutely.
Because if you look at like the terrain
for the New England Patriots,
it's not favorable right now.
They cut Stefan Diggs.
They clearly want to get a number one for Drake May.
They need to revamp.
they're receiving core and you know with a dj more going off the board uh in terms of getting traded
to the bills like yeah they're starting to run out options i've seen a lot of like patriots like you know
media personalities and um you know i have seen enough rumblings to know that it's coming from somewhere
that oh the patriots you know like would they rather just sign alec pierce you know like his
his coach in college is the receivers coach you know his best football might be ahead of him
i mean guys like alec pears is a nice player we're talking about a j brous
here like what are we talking about I don't know you know I don't know if you've been
following the Patriots for the past couple decades but they love a white receiver
E.J maybe that's it they had Randy Moss and they're happier with Julian element
that is a good play maybe that's why there's so much Alec Pierce butts coming out of
New England but this is different I'd rather have Alec Pierce I mean that guy goes to
work every day lunch pail and a real coach on the field that guy yeah so
It's a different caliber of player we're discussing here.
And yeah, I think that going into this offseason, like talking to people at the Super Bowl,
like I thought a late first for AJ was fair compensation.
I think there's a chance the Eagles are going to get more than that.
I think it's fair to say that they will get more than that.
Let me ask you this.
Which speaks to what you said, which is that Howard is a question is good at these things.
Yeah.
Would you rather have the Patriots pick this year?
This is a great question.
Would you rather have their next year's first?
So when Anthony said that this morning, my first thought was which of those picks is a future pick
and which of those picks to the Eagles want to be a future pick.
I think you won a future first.
I agree.
And you probably, if he's turning down a first and a third,
you probably say I want a future first and I want a second in this year's draft.
That would be, I think that would be a great outcome.
Oh, my goodness.
Yeah, it would be an absolute, it would be a haul for a player.
I think that, like, again, let's take a step back,
because there are people in the chat who are like,
I can't believe you guys are talking about this.
It's not going to happen.
why would they trade AJ Brown?
I think that the two things that are,
we've been saying a lot on the show,
but are very important to reiterate as we get closer to this.
Because again,
I think this could happen today.
It could happen over the weekend.
I think if it doesn't happen by Monday,
then everybody has to regroup,
and probably the price is a little bit lower for AJ Brown,
which might mean that the deal never happens.
But because of the urgency,
I think it's important to take a step back.
The first thing is that AJ Brown has clearly been frustrated
with the way that the,
Eagles offense has progressed and the way that it looks. And, you know, from conversations I've
had with him, like, I am confident in saying when he like makes waves publicly, when he
complains about the passing game and, you know, the way that the offense looks, like he is trying
to, you know, change the function or the complexion of the Eagles offense that way. And he didn't
succeed with that this year. And I think that's how we find ourselves where we are, where it's,
he has, you know, tried to voice frustration and get his way publicly. It didn't have. It didn't
happened this year. And, you know, I remember he told me it feels like I'm fighting by myself
midway through the season. And I think it showed in the way that he played. So if you're the
Eagles, you have to take that into account that you get that version of him when he's frustrated.
And also, not for nothing. I think that there is, I don't personally believe this, but I do think
there is a sentiment that he isn't quite the same player he was before. And you have to worry about,
is that going to hasten in the next few seasons? Is he going to, is a regression coming for a player
like AJ Brown.
So I do think like best case scenario for the Eagles was to convince AJ Brown to come back
be fully committed for one more season.
But it's obvious that's not where we are.
And I do think that the return they're going to get for him justifies moving him on.
And it's also okay to just recognize that that sucks as an Eagles fan.
Oh, for sure.
Yeah.
No, I'm not trying to be like.
Arguably the best wider scene franchise history.
Yes.
I'm not trying to be like the like dismissive of the frustration.
I just like, we've had this conversation a lot.
I feel like there are people who have been saying, like,
there's no way it's going to happen for a long time.
And like, I'm telling you, like, you know,
I'm not saying it's a 100% thing,
but it is obvious now that they are getting closer to meeting on a,
you know, on the price that was obviously that there was,
and it was obvious there was a price when Howie Roseman came out and said,
we're going to take calls on it.
All right.
Let's close the book on the big takeaway presented by Xfinity.
A reminder that everything becomes,
free to be reported and everything like that on Monday at noon the beginning of the legal
tampering period and we're going to be here live on Monday starting at noon for at least
three hours the three of us the professor is going to be involved as well so it should be a big
time fun don't miss it stay with us now before we get to quacketology yeah we got more
trade stuff more trade stuff more stuff around the league at the beginning of the show right
before that, Rayshon Gary, released by the Green Bay Packers, which means if you are of the
opinion that the Eagles are going to let Jalen Phillips go and they have money to spend,
Rayshon Gary becomes an interesting replacement possibility because he would not count against
the compic formula.
Exactly.
So to me, I'm not sure how much it affects what Jalen Phillips will get paid.
I do think it probably slightly affects the Eagles' willingness to play ball on that market,
because now you have Bradley Chubb and Rishon Gary.
as options for you if Jalen Phillips signs elsewhere and you can still get that third round pick.
And, you know, it's not to say like, oh, like, you know, the Eagles traded the third form and
it's basically just canceled out, but it kind of does.
You know, it's like in terms of draft value, it is, it makes the trade for Jalen Phillips
justifiable, you know.
It was just if they don't get anything for Jim.
But I think the comp.
I think still think the compick is significant, you know.
Oh, yeah.
So for that reason.
I mean, I would rather have Ray Sean Gary and a third round pick.
It's one thing if you're going.
It's probably.
Again, you know, this is a strength of Howie Roseman,
where now you have two options.
You're not going into a negotiating table with Bradley Chubb,
and you have like, okay, I have to sign you.
Otherwise, I'm going to have to play the comp pick game for another guy.
So it changes the landscape a little bit for the Eagles in regards to Jalen Phillips.
Still think Jalen Phillips is going to get paid, though.
It is also a reminder of kind of how frenetic,
Howie Roseman's job is right now.
Yeah, right.
He's got to be holding firm on the negotiations for whatever AJ thing is going.
on. He's got to be on the
Gailen Phillips situation and monitoring
what else is what other their options are
on the edge. He's got the Dallas Goddard thing.
You know, he's got just the looking
for information from around the league.
Like, he is
absolutely in like
flow state, right? Yeah. You know,
it is, honestly, it would
probably be really cool to watch.
Yeah, because you're right. It's the
AJ Brown negotiations on, uh, playing out.
And he has to know like, what's the number for
Dallas Goddard if we trade AJ.
and yeah, then like, yeah, I wonder if the Rishon Gary thing, do you think it's for him, it's like,
he, he's like, this changes everything, or do you think it's like, he kind of, I think he's
probably expected this. Yeah. But now it's like he can send Jillyn Phillips's agent, like, listen,
I got another option. Yeah. Yeah. I still think Phillips is going to get paid. I don't think that
this is more about, I would probably take a little bit less, uh, I put fewer turkeys on Jalen Phillips
coming back because of this news, but slightly too. Just slightly. Yeah, I'm not saying I'm going from like
60 to 20.
Now, what do you think of this
Max Crosby situation?
Yeah, it's not going away,
which stands out to me.
The thing that stand,
the thing that I did want to mention, though,
the Bears are one of the teams
that are reportedly interested in Max Crosby,
as are the Cowboys.
Bears.
The Bears. Shout out to our sister stations
and DLLS and CHGO.
I wonder, and this is a guess,
this is not an educated guess.
I wonder, do the Eagles,
feel like, yeah, you can keep our name in there to drive the price up for one of their
potential contenders or, you know, competitors in the conference.
Yeah, I'm sure they don't mind that.
You know, you're right.
Yeah.
Now, there was a report out there that Jalen Carter has been, you know, in trade talks for Max
Crosby.
That specifically would surprise me.
I agree with you.
But the Jalen Carter trade, you know, proposition was something you brought, or sorry,
Howie Roseman brought up in our No Bad Idea show.
it's not something that I would completely close the door on.
It is not a straightforward decision.
It's not as straightforward a decision as you would expect it to be
for a player as good as Jalen Carter.
It wouldn't stun me if they traded him.
It wouldn't stun me if they traded him.
Yeah.
It would really shock me if they traded him into Max Crosby D.
I agree.
Because to me, the idea of trading Jalen Carter
is to get a bonanza of picks in return.
And to completely recent.
stock your cabinet to be able to get elite players in this team again.
Yeah.
To use him as a chip in a Crosby deal.
And listen, I would think if it's Max Crosby, Gieland Carter, the Raiders are the
team sending something.
Right.
So maybe, but I don't, I don't see, I don't really see that.
Yeah.
No, it would surprise me.
I mean, and if you're the Raiders, Gailen Carter is awesome.
You're not, you probably feel the same way.
And you're not trading a future first.
For Jalen Carter if you're the Raiders, are you?
Yeah.
Are you trading a future first and Max Crosby for Jalen Carter if you're the Raiders?
Yeah, that seems like they wouldn't do that, right?
It seems like they want to add, they need to be, they've got a young quarterback who I'm going to be trying to build around.
They need picks.
And flip it.
If you're the Eagles, are you saying yes to that trade?
Crosby and a future first.
I'm probably saying yes to that.
I probably would say yes to that, yeah.
Okay.
Well, there you go.
But if it's a, yeah, the idea that the Eagles would be, would be using him as a chip doesn't make sense to break.
feel bad for some of the listeners that came here to listen to us.
Quacketology.
Yeah, we're going to get...
Quacketology and now we're talking about trading Jalen Carter.
But this is the...
This time of year, like, this is what the conversations are.
Like, this is part of it.
There are a lot's going to change in the next couple of weeks.
Yeah, no, it's...
There's a lot happening.
That's...
Well, big news here.
Ray Sean Gary has deleted his Instagram post saying goodbye to the Packers.
I was reading the same thing when I was like saying there's a lot happening.
Maybe he has not been.
It's very disillness. Interesting. All right.
Yeah.
Time for a quick break. On the other side, we get to it.
Lots of tight ends to discuss.
We begin on the other side with Isaiah likely against Adam Troutman.
Charlie Kohler is going to be there.
Zach Ertz is going to be there.
Lindsay's favorite Jimmy G.
Lindsay's husband's favorite AVT.
Stay tuned.
A lot to come.

Welcome back to the P.H.O.I. Eagles podcast, Bowulf, E.J.
AJ, how was your morning?
My morning was good.
I had to trim the dog's nails this morning, though.
That's not my favorite task.
Oh.
Yeah, there's always a lot of drama that goes into that.
What's the drama?
Well, they're big dogs.
Like, they have the power to move around and not let me do it.
And they hate it.
And I hate it.
So we all hate it.
Are you manhandling them?
Or what are you?
The old one, we've had his whole life.
And I can flip him upside down and just do it.
But he hates it.
And he's got these big nails.
So annoying.
How often you have to do this?
Like maybe like once a month.
I will be honest.
My wife does it more than I do because there was a point when like our oldest dog, he's 10 now.
He was probably like six.
And him and I just like had like we had it out over the nails one time.
And I was like for both of our sake, I don't think we can do this anymore.
Well, I had a similar thing happened when Casey was a baby.
I was doing his nails.
and I got a little, I got a little piece of his finger.
Oh, no.
A little tiny piece of his skin.
And after that, I was like, I can't do this anymore.
This is not.
I was, I was absolutely traumatized by that.
Yeah.
Way worth for me than for him.
No, that's exactly what it was.
I mean, not exactly.
Yes.
My dog, my kid.
But yeah, no, it was a, it was not a fun experience.
And you get dusty.
Like, you get the nail dust all over you?
Are you doing, when you were doing this, so you're doing Dremel, right?
You're not doing the Clippers?
Doing what?
Oh, you don't even know what a Dremel is.
Do you know what a Dremel is, Lindsay?
it's like a sandpaper, it's like a rotary.
No, no, no, we did little baby clippers.
They do like, I feel like a lot of people say that now is better than the clipper is like the sander tool.
Yeah.
But I feel like their nails are too thin.
Yeah.
So you push against it and it doesn't like actually sand it down.
Yeah, yeah.
It like just folds over.
I'm very good at the bang the kids nails.
I remember this is a one of my favorite shield story ever was I forget which daughter it was of his.
Oh no.
had like a tonio that was really bad and she hated it.
So they like snuck in in the middle of the night to the room and did it like like ninjas.
I remember him telling that story.
That was very funny.
I love that respect.
I had a wonderful morning.
Okay.
I got to, I did Career Day at my son's school.
Oh, yeah.
How was that?
Oh, it was great.
It was great.
And this was interesting.
I was asking all the kids who their favorite Eagles player was.
Okay.
So I did I was in, I did two third grade classes, a first grade class and a seventh grade
class.
Now we need to hear how they feel about Jalen Hertz because I've had.
I have a take about this.
Well, this was interesting.
The third graders, both third grade classes,
was like 95% they all said Sequin.
Really?
Love Sequel.
Wow, okay.
And then when I did the seventh graders,
it was much more, much more varied.
There was a Devante, there's a Geel and Carter,
got a BG, got a.
Yeah.
It was interesting.
I mean, they're like a little bit older.
They probably know more of the players.
Maybe, yeah.
It doesn't surprise me that they say Sequan,
but yeah,
I would have expected a little bit more of a variety.
How did the slideshow go for you?
It was good.
What was my contribution to the slideshow?
I can't remember now.
There was, you had, you said, like, the things you do at your job, and I had one for you.
I don't remember what you had, but you were surprised that I put listening on there,
which, and I said it was the most important thing.
You know, listening, that's probably a poor reflection of me.
I would agree.
I'll do a better job.
All right.
Let's do everybody's favorite.
It's time.
Quacketology.
Here we go.
Now, tight ends.
And we'll get to the wide receivers
because I wonder if anything changes now
with the AJ Brown stuff in the air.
Yeah.
We start here.
Isaiah likely from the Ravens
going up against Adam Troutman.
You've been able to think about this one
for two days.
What do you think?
I think likely should move on.
I got to pull up the projections again.
I lost those.
I got,
or I don't have the,
uh,
the offensive guys' projections.
I apologize.
Um,
yeah,
Troutman,
I guess if you wanted to make the case for him as a
second or third tight end,
a little bit more of a solid blocker,
you're planning on bringing,
uh,
you know,
bringing somebody in to be your main receiving target.
Sure.
You could,
you could see that,
but I don't know.
I think likely is more likely.
I feel like there's a chance that they try to make a
splash there and maybe they want to get younger. I can see at least an avenue where it's,
you don't pay Dallas Goddard, but you do still want to invest in the position. And for that
reason, I'd go likely. Now he's going up against Troutman from the Denver Broncos, 29 years old,
better blocker, way less interesting as a receiver. We've got him for 2.14, 7 million a year,
guaranteed. I don't know if you saw the Tyler Higbee contract come through with just two for
eight for a year. Okay. He's a little bit older, a little bit more banged up. Whereas, like,
we've got for a pretty significant haul for 61, a little bit over 15 a year, 40 guaranteed.
I also think, I think likely is a more likely big splash than any other tight end.
And I don't know that Troutman rises to the level of we think he's worth paying that much money
instead of just getting somebody a little bit lower.
Yeah, I'm just going to reiterate, like if Sean Mannion is watching draft tape and is saying,
man, I just really think that Kenyon-Sadik would be an ideal fit for this office.
I think Isaiah likely is probably a more, you know, a more realistic option for the Eagles
because of where they are, where they're at in the draft.
Yeah, I think that there is some, a case to be made that his best football is ahead of him.
All right.
Now we stick around with another Ravens tight end.
It's, yeah boy.
The Kohler Bear.
The Kohler.
I like that.
Charlie Kohler, who has about seven catches in his entire career.
Oh, don't do that.
Don't do that.
How many blocking highlights does he have?
And he's going up against Zach Ertz,
who has about 7,000 catches in his career.
Now, Kohler, we are projecting seven a year for three years,
fortune guaranteed.
That might be low.
If Charlie Kohler's agent is as good as it sounds like he has been,
he infiltrated E.J.
If E.J. gets to...
No, no. A, he didn't.
And B, I don't like how that sounded.
make the case for him around the league.
Maybe it gets a little bit more than that.
Now,
Zach Ertz is coming off a season ending injury in December.
So it's hard to even imagine
he's going to be ready for week one.
But...
Now, is this like a flu world order
where if they sign Zachertz
in like week five?
Yeah, that counts.
But I don't think that's going to happen.
Yeah.
I'm going to go with Charlie Kohler.
I mean, I got to do it to stick with the brand.
I like the idea of Zacherts
reunion. The injury is a massive question there that I don't have the answer to on when exactly
he'll be ready to play and how much the Eagles will weigh that against some of the other options.
But I could see them signing Charlie Kohler. I could see them saying this is a player that's an
ideal scheme fit for what we want to do, you know, a player that, you know, it kind of reminds
me of the Bryce Huff situation where it's like, and I know that's not the best example, but
it reminds me of Bryce Huff where there is an explanation for why this player hasn't been as
productive and there's an argument to be made that his best years are ahead of him.
I will let him go on past Zachers.
Okay.
That's fair.
But if the Eagles are throwing a lot of money at Charlie Keller, I'm going to be a little bit
unimpressed.
Using Bryce of as the example is a tough sell for anybody, but there is at least the template
for them signing a player like this where there's an easy story to tell.
Even Jordan Davis when they draft him, there's an easy story to tell for why they're
production hasn't been where it can be in a different system.
Oh, boom.
I got the hook, the, the, the, the beat from I got a store, I got a story to tell in my head now.
Okay.
My nephew.
What a great, what a great beat.
When we took him to the Sixers game, he had this like rap beat and stuck in his head.
And like, randomly he would just be like, no, no, no, no.
I'm just like, all right.
And I got stuck in my head.
Okay.
Congratulations to Charlie Kohler, setting up a very interesting,
Kohler versus likely matchup in the sweet 16.
Now, the only quarterback to advance to the second round.
You're looking for the scheme Sherpa,
the guy who can bring the rest of the quarterback room along
in terms of what they need to see in this new Shanahan tree offense
and hopefully not be too distracting with his handsome, devilish good looks.
Jimmy Garoppolo, he goes up against Elijah Vera Tucker.
Interesting possibility for the Eagles, Howie Roseman.
Finding a guy who, when healthy, is both versatile and good,
has had a real trouble staying healthy,
but could be a good place for him to go to rebuild his market.
Does he have a more robust market elsewhere?
Yeah, that's tough.
Is the real question.
But also maybe Jimmy G.
has some landing spots.
I've seen Mike LaFleuores, Arizona
floated around as a possibility for him.
Jimmy G. against A.V.T.
Bringing Fisicuffs
to the Lindsay household.
How do you feel about this one?
This is maybe the toughest one.
I mean, we had some tough ones yesterday,
but this is one of the more difficult ones.
My worry with Elijah Verit Tucker,
I think the Eagles, like,
he makes tons of sense for the Eagles.
I just, I wonder if he gets more money elsewhere.
what was his projection?
What did you have for him?
We've got that's case maybe.
Elijah Vera Tucker at $7 million.
All right, I'm going to go Elijah Vera Tucker.
I think so too because the Jimmy G thing also requires Tanner McKee being traded.
Yeah, and if you're Jimmy G, you'll have coaches that you've worked with,
coaches that you're familiar with that you probably would favor over going into,
It might be a system that looks like ones you've been in before,
but a coach that you don't know.
I think Elijah Vera Tucker, yeah.
I think we send him through.
Walshaer Tucker moves on.
Now we get to the wide receivers.
Wide receiver on wide receiver here.
Kendrick Bourne from the San Francisco 49ers.
Productive, but a little bit older.
He goes up against the Mannion connection.
Romeo Romeo.
Wherefore art thou Romeo?
Divide thy father and refuse.
Use thy name.
No anymore?
No.
It was good delivery.
I could get there.
Were you a theater kid?
No, but I wish that I could do it over again and be a theater kid.
Yeah, you give off theater kid vibes a little bit.
In a loving way.
Do childhood, I'd be doing more theater.
Yeah.
I was a weird crossover of different, like, big groups.
Yeah.
I was in, I like did TV studio because it was attached to the news newsroom.
Sure.
But I was on the football team.
And then I was like a music kid too.
I played in a band.
Yeah, of course.
So like I had some,
I had some theater kid friends,
but I wasn't in theater.
Hmm.
I remember my football coach got so mad at me one time
because I had to come to practice late
for something in the TV studio.
Sure.
I messed something up in that practice and he's like,
go back to the TV studio, E.J.
You're like,
you just want to be on the news or something like that.
He was so mad.
Tough.
Yeah.
Well, it worked out for me, I guess.
Kendrick born and Romeo Dobbs.
Where are you going?
I'm going Romeo Dobbs.
I like a Romeo Dobbs, especially...
So let me ask you the question.
You mentioned it earlier.
Do you think that...
Do you remember?
A player like Romeo Dobbs,
a number two receiver in the free agency market,
do you feel like they are stronger candidates
than they were when we did the first round?
Because of the movement with the AJ Brown situation.
And I still don't see them going in,
and playing at the top of the market in free agency.
Most importantly, I think Dobbs is probably the only guy who would make sense because of the connection.
And if you think Mannion's like building out an offense, he has a role for him in mind.
But I think we can probably overstate the connection.
I mean, Sean Main was there for two years.
But still, I think he's a good player even with the connection.
But I think the biggest thing to me is how he knows that signing a wide receiver in free agency is almost always
bad business. That contract is going to look bad by July. I don't know. I think Howie also knows
that drafting a wide receiver to replace AJ Brown in the latter half of the first round is a dicey
dicey game as well. And that's also saying that you're probably not getting, I guess you'll have
the two firsts. Depends on what you get. If you get a first in this year's draft, you could still
get your Lane Johnson era parent, but I don't know. It's a big, if they are going to trade AJ Brown,
They have a lot of work to do on offense.
A player like Romeo Dobbs, I think, would make sense.
So for that reason, I would go Romeo Dobbs.
Are you saying you'd rather have Kendrick Bourne here?
Because he's like a little bit more, you know, lower in the market, more of a dice roll.
Yeah, I think it's probably more likely, but I also think there are guys like that,
whereas there's only one guy at the top of the market who would make some sense like Romeo Dobbs.
But I really do think, like, if Howie's going to look to replace A.J. Brown.
It's probably trading for Brian Thomas.
It's like the moneyball scene and say, you know, how can we replace him in the aggregate?
Yeah.
Like, I think, I think if you are looking at the best way to fill it out,
I would rather, I would rather pay Isaiah likely.
I'd 14 million than Romeo Dom's 19 million.
I'd rather pay Dallas Goddard and trade for Brian Thomas Jr.
Well, okay, but, you know, you can't just definitely make that happen.
I mean, you'll have the draft capital too.
I think you, I mean, yes, obviously there are variables there,
but there's variables with all this stuff.
I wouldn't be upset if you put Boren through instead,
but I think Romeo Dobbs, especially for the spirit of Romeo Dobbs,
yeah, for the spirit of the exercise, I think Romeo Dobbs makes more sense to go through.
Romeo Dobbs moves through.
That brings us to and for break.
On the other side, we get the other four matchups remaining on offense, wide receivers,
tight ends, offensive linemen galore.

Welcome back to the PHOY Eagles podcast, Bo Wolf, E.J. Brown. You see him on the size slate there.
Diami Brown.
Was that in purpose?
You'll never know.
No, be honest.
Just tell me.
I'm never honest.
Honesty is not important in this job.
Wide receiver.
Well,
honesty is important.
Diami Brown.
You're looking at the bottom of the barrel.
Add the guy to the room wide receiver.
Had an overwhelming season in Jacksonville after a nice little playoff run with the
commander's the year before.
And he is going up against David Injoku.
the receiving specialist
tight end from the Cleveland Browns
who is now on the wrong side of 30
Njoku versus Diami Brown
where do you go?
I probably lean in Joku
I don't feel strongly either way
this is actually probably
one of those matchups where
we might be kicking ourselves
because I feel like it could go either way
but I'd lean in Joku
I have a leftover point
while you contemplate over there
what you want to do
with as much turnover
as Eagles offense
might have to undergo
this off season. Hopefully they're not having too many turnovers. You know what I mean?
Oh, hey-oh. Are we sure that Jaylen Hertz is going to throw the ball to any of these guys?
That's my argument for bringing Dallas got her back. It's like, you know, two or three new like
premier pass catchers, guys are supposed to get the ball five to ten times a game. I mean,
you did the targets list the other day. It's not always good. It's not always a seamless transition
into the Eagles offense with Jalen Hertz's aversion to not trust, or, you know, 10,
to not trust.
Avrian is his name.
Avriand, actually.
I got you there.
But yeah, his aversion to new receivers
that he's not always on the same page with.
I think that's, I think that
I was actually thinking about this the other day.
And I think it has to be overstated.
They have to be able to trust Jalen Hertz
to throw the ball to some other guys.
I don't think that it's about he doesn't have a good connection
with Johan Dotson.
It's about AJ and Devonte are the guys
he's going to throw two because they're the best one from the team.
I think there's a trust factor there though.
I think there's a trust factor at play.
And that's why if you are trading AJ Brown bringing Dallas Goddard back,
I mean,
we've seen Dallas Goddard be a player that he trusts in a high volume situation.
So I think there's a real chance Goddard his back for sure.
Yeah, especially with the movement on the AJ thing.
Well, and also because it saves them Caprio.
Yeah, exactly.
Do you know me Brown or David and Joku?
Where are the listeners on this one?
Everything for Injoku.
Okay.
So David and Joku will move on.
They're with me.
The listeners, I got a real finger on the pulse of sickos as a sicko.
Now, you got a real interesting matchup here.
Two fast old guys.
Brandon Cooks and Hollywood Brown.
Now, Hollywood Brown is not that old.
Brandon Cooks, you know, might as well be our father.
But he played with Sean Mannion.
That's how old he is.
In college.
That's how old is he?
Had a nice little bit roll with the big roll with the baseball.
Bill is at the end of the last season.
Yeah.
Moss, Marcus Epps.
He goes up against Hollywood Brown.
It remains skinny.
I probably go Brandon Cooks here.
Where are you at?
Yeah, I think I would go Cooks too.
Yeah, cohabitation Matrix.
If you're looking for a wider sleeper three, he is probably the archetype you're going
for.
I mean, both of these guys are.
I think Brandon Cooks makes sense if you're keeping AJ Brown.
And the idea is, okay, we're going to add a guy and hold him.
Hopefully Darius Cooper beats him out.
Yeah.
Or if you trade AJ, is Brandon Cook's like your draft proofing in theory?
That's not good enough.
Yeah, no, but I think it is like you're planning on drafting somebody over him.
Okay, that's fair.
I think if you're trading AJ, you need somebody better than Brandon Cox.
I do agree with you.
To draft proof, yeah.
But let's move on Brennan Cooks over Hollywood Brown.
Tight ends going up against each other here.
You got a full-time tight end in the jilted lover himself.
Chigo Conquo going up against a receiving specialist
Shanahan Tree, McVeigh Tree, Mike McDaniels guy in Greg Dulcich,
who had an awesome, productive second half of the season with the Dolphins
and the first stretch of productivity, basically in his entire career
after being a third round pick of the Broncos.
You would have to pair him with a blocking tight end.
Could make some sense.
Chigo Concoe is going to command a little bit, a lot bit more money.
you know where I land on this
I think Chigo Conquo has a chance to win the whole thing
Really? I do
I do I think he makes a lot of sense for them
I'm not going to just change my mind on it at the very end
I think that he makes a lot of sense
Doltich is interesting because of the fact
Daltzich's tone
Because again the Bryce Huff mold where it's there's a reason to believe
that his best football's ahead of him
There's a reason to believe
Maybe this year will be
be better than the last.
I think if you
were looking for a Dallas Godot
replacement though, I think Chig O'Concoe is at the top
of the list.
But you just cast him to
the side for your boy Charlie Kohler.
I didn't pass a chick aside.
The Eagles expect him to perform.
You got to follow me on my socials, man.
Profession when he's playing through a broken
heart.
I never cast him aside. I kind of did.
Jokingly. But if you follow me
on my socials, you know, I have, I had
Chig is number one.
Charlie Coler is number two.
I like Dulce in the chat.
That's very good.
This is like an audience curated for your sense of humor.
It's good.
I like it.
Chigo and Dulcich.
This is tough.
I don't know where I'm going to go on this one.
I don't think they could sign Okonkwo.
I don't, I mean, I don't know.
What is, what was your projection?
I don't, I don't, quo.
You don't, quo?
I can't believe Lindsay laughed at that.
Honestly, neither can I.
Usually it's, it's just.
Just something that a little bit ribald, that she'll laugh at.
Do you have his projection there?
Sorry, I know your internet's.
For Chigo?
Oh, I can't read that.
You can't read that.
Chigo.
Thank you.
Chigo skew.
Four years, 46 million, 25 million guaranteed.
13 a year.
It's a lot.
And what was yours for Dulcich?
I mean, it's probably...
Dalsuch's two million?
That's the hangup is we are talking about...
more we're talking less about the player and more about what we think is going to happen
at the position I think is what I have here yeah I still go chig much I go chig I go
Dulcich but the the chat is behind you well why don't you like here we're gonna let you
clip farm like do your 45 seconds on why you think they'll sign Dulcich and then if they
sign them you'll have it and if they sign chig then we look smart because he's on the
bracket all right ready three two the eagles are going about the tight end
positioned the way that Brad Pitt did in Moneyball. They are trying to recreate Dallas Goddard
in the aggregate. They will add a blocking tight end, but they have found their receiving
specialist in Greg Dulcich. You had an awesome second half of the season with the Miami
Dolphins and fits in this offense. This is a guy with aggressive after the catch ability.
And now he brings that skill set to the birds.
Great delivery. A little long. They're going to cut that up. Yeah.
But that was impressive.
One take bow over here.
If it was me, I'd be at home,
hit and stop, start over, stop, start over.
I'd come out of my office and my wife would be like making fun of the first line of it
because she's heard it a few times.
But no, that was impressive.
All right.
Shigo Convo moves on, but we've got the clip in the can.
For Greg Delsons.
Dallas Dulsives.
I feel like we're starting to get off the rails here a little bit.
Beautiful.
And only in a really nice way.
Last matchup of the second round.
for the offense. Jonah Williams, the former first round pick, right tackle with the Arizona
Cardinals. Like Veritucker, has been banged up plenty. He's a little bit older than Vera Tucker
and less flexible. This is a real tackle, but this is a guy who allows you to potentially
draft proof the Lane Johnson backup position. Have a guy here who can play. He goes up against.
We have talked about some blocking tight ends and there is no blockier of a tight end than
co-keef, who is not going to be involved in the passing game, but he is going to bring
some physicality to those 13 personnel sets, co-keefed against Jonah Williams.
This one's tough, too.
Ah, man, I'm deferring to you on this one.
I'm not sure.
I like Jonah Williams.
I like him as like a Fred Johnson replacement.
But I could see a co-keft.
Josh Grisard gets his way.
You know, it sings his praises, says, make this guy, probably your, what, your third tight end,
your second tight end.
The chat likes Kokeefed.
I think that Jonah Williams will probably have enough of a market
where somebody wants him to start
or at least draft proof their position
to be the projected starter.
And Kofift is like,
Allie putting your money where your mouth is
on saying you really want a blocking tight end.
It's going to cost almost no money.
Yeah, but you can get those guys in the draft.
You can, but you can also get them for very cheap.
I think you're right.
I think what...
It's tricky.
Like, you don't want to spend money on Adam Troutman,
but you can spend $2 million on co-keefed.
Yeah, I think you're right about Jonah Williams market
being a real wild card here,
and it's tricky with the offensive lineman
because, yes, you've got him projected Jonah Williams,
one year, $9 million, $6 million guaranteed.
It's tricky with the O' lineman
because the Eagles won't typically value them
as much as other teams well because of the starting opportunity.
But who knows what their offensive line philosophy
is like now in free.
But it's more about the personnel they have,
than the, just the way that they're going to view the position.
You know what I mean?
It's, I don't know, like, how much would they have signed Fred Johnson for last year?
Not nine million.
Right.
Yeah, that's true.
I think co-keef.
All right.
Co-keft moves on.
Hopefully we can get him in the All-City family and we can do a Bowen Co show.
That's fun.
I like that.
Time for break.
You want more shows on your plate?
Yes.
I think the Boe and Coe show is just like, just five minutes.
It's just a five.
He comes in and throws me through a wall.
He would like that one.
And that's great.
I know a couple of people who would like to watch that.
That might be the most viewed thing that we have.
Let's go to the defensive side of the ball after these words from our sponsors coming up.
Trayvon Diggs, Quitty Pay, Greg Newsom, Marshawn, Latimore, Gino Stone, Jalen Thompson,
Malcolm Coons, Alante Taylor, and Alante Moore after that.
Yesterday was a very exciting day here at the P.H.O.I. offices because I,
I felt like I had a celebrity setting.
I got to meet the three brothers themselves from Elkins Chevrolet.
And I said, guys, I know you're three brothers, real brothers.
And we know, as you've heard, these are local guys, really big Eagles fans.
And right now, they're putting on a President's Day sales event and the deals are bigger and better than ever.
So if you need a truck, they've got it.
SUV?
Oh yeah, they got those too.
Every vehicle comes with the kind of service that makes you feel.
feel like you are part of their family. So don't wait. These President's State deals are only here
a little bit of a short period of time. Swing by Elkin Chevrolet on Route 73 in Marlton, New Jersey,
and get in on the deals that are just plain honking good. Elkins' brother, Elkins Chevrolet,
real brothers, real deals, and a whole lot of honking good service together. Let's try.

Back on the P.HLY Eagles podcast.
If you're just joining us, we've talked.
about the Philadelphia Eagles.
I'm Bo Wolfe.
That's E.J. Smith.
And today, what we are doing
is trying to figure out the free agent
who the Eagles are most likely to sign.
Next week.
Move to the defensive side of the ball now.
A man with whom the Eagles are quite familiar
in the division.
Trayvon Diggs.
Eelan Hertz and he have a bit of a connection
as we talked about yesterday with Fran.
He goes up against Quitty Pei Pei from the Indianapolis
Colts, former first round pick.
Not a lot of pass rush juice, but can set the edge for you.
He's going to go for a whole lot more money, whereas Trayvon Diggs,
you're thinking is probably like $3 million.
Sad Diggs through to the next round.
I think he is a strong contender in this field.
What do we do?
What do we do?
Yeah, quiddy pay.
Quitty pay, quid he doesn't.
I have to keep catching myself.
I keep wanting to say that he has a cohabitation matrix connection with Nick
Siriani.
He does not.
No.
Nick, join the Eagle staff before they drafted Quiddip.
We don't want, we don't want quitties in Philadelphia.
I like his name.
It's a good name.
It's a fun name.
Yeah.
I agree, Trayvon Diggs.
I think Trayvon Diggs makes a lot of sense.
Yeah.
So Quidipay, how short our time together was.
Next up, corner on corner.
Greg Newsome.
Yeah.
Wow.
What a reaction.
I was excited to get to some of these.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Put on a little Marvin Gay.
Marvin Gay is underrated, man.
Underrated.
Hold on a second.
Underrated.
I mean, I love Marvin Gay.
His music is so timeless.
Yeah, I agree.
Yeah, and people, like, I think, reduce him to, like, one or two songs.
It's kind of great discography.
I agree.
Underrated.
Okay.
That is, that is one of my thing.
It was as if, like, you know, I explained.
I showed my work.
Tell you what?
For young heads, Mormon Gay was a problem.
That was good.
That was a good E.
That's what I'm going to be like in like 10 years.
Now I can get a bucket now.
I am a big like take an artist that is very well respected,
but like make them make the case that they are not even appreciated enough.
Okay.
Like one of the greatest artists of all time.
Yeah, I think that's fair.
Yeah.
Anyway, Greg Newsome is a corner.
Greg Newsome too.
Granted to him. He was paying attention the whole time.
And he goes up against Marciaun Latimore.
Now, Marshawn Latimore won't count against the Compec formula.
Yeah, this is tough.
Can't stay healthy?
The question is also, even if he is healthy, can he regain the same level of play?
Whereas Greg Newsom is going to be a little bit more expensive, certainly more upside there.
I am still really hesitant about the idea of the Eagles spending.
money at corner or someone who is not definitely awesome.
Like I don't really see them playing in the middle ground at that position.
I know there was a link to Monterec Brown for like $10 million a year on ESPN or something
like that.
That would really surprise me.
Yeah, I think the chat's preference to Greg Newsom is because he is, if you could sign one,
you would want to sign him.
I think if I had to predict which one of these players was going to be in their range in terms
of what they want to spend, I would choose Marshawn Latimore.
I agree with you.
I don't know if I feel great.
Like, again, if you're signing Marshawn Latimore,
you need to address the position further and go into training camp,
curious about what Marshawn Latimore is going to look like,
not dependent on it.
But again, I think that they're probably more real.
It's probably more realistic that they sign him.
I agree with you.
Marshall Latimore moves on to the second round.
Greg Newsom, unfortunately, he's no longer with us.
Safety on Safety.
Gino Stone unturned against Jalen Thompson.
Gino Stone wasn't great with the Bengals last season.
Had to take a pay cut as well.
But he's going to be more in the $4 to $5 million range or so.
He goes up against Jalen Thompson, better athlete,
lots of experience from the Cardinals,
some scheme carryover if you think about Nick Rallis
as somewhat similar to Vic Fangio.
it costs a little bit more money.
I think I kind of agree with what Fran said the other day
that I think if they were interested in a Jalen Thompson type,
it would probably just resign Reed Blankenship.
Right, unless they think his upside is significantly higher.
Yeah.
Whereas I could see Gino Stone being more,
okay, we're not willing to pay that position that much money.
This is a guy who can come in and be okay.
Kind of, I've been kind of all over the place with my comps,
and I can acknowledge that.
Ryan Dawkins is what you're thinking here
I was going to say it kind of reminds me a little bit
of the Bears signing Kevin Byard
where it's like he hadn't had a great run
but you've seen him have high level production before
yeah so I'm he was a higher caliber player sure
but I mean I'm just looking through Gino Stone stats
he had seven interceptions in 2023
maybe you that's what you point to if you sign him
or a low cost deal and say maybe you can get that version of him
for that reason I'm
probably go Gino Stone here.
Again, this is one where it's like, if you could sign one of them, you sign Jalen Thompson,
but the money into account, I'd take Gino Stone.
I agree.
Pennsylvania native, Gino Stowe.
Local guy.
Local guy.
Real brothers.
Shoutout to our guys.
Shout to our guy.
Gino Stone moves on.
Let's close out this quadrant now with Malcolm Coontz, the edge rusher from the Las Vegas
Raiders, who came back from a full missed season in 20th.
24 was okay this year, but you hope that maybe there's some upside there.
He goes up against Alante Taylor, the prize of the cornerback free agent market,
a guy who has inside outside versatility, brings some wood at that position, as we said,
leads the league in havoc plays over the past two seasons, gets his hands on the ball,
young, probably going to go for a lot of money.
Right.
and he goes up against Malcolm Coons
this one's tough
because Coons was one of the more efficient rushers
right we looked at the
I mean barely
okay yeah it's not a good crop
I mean
my head says Malcolm Coons
like the logic would point us toward Malcolm Coons
I like would not be stunned if the Eagles
made a splashy signing in a second area
I'm holding space for Alonte Taylor
yeah I am I'm holding space for him
in the scent in the J. Von Hargrave sent.
I thought you were just making fun of me, but you were being serious.
A little bit, yeah.
Okay.
You were doing both.
In a world where the Eagles find themselves having some money to spend, which is no guarantee.
If that happens, rather than these are the four boxes we need to check, let's make sure we get all of those things.
Howie knows that the offseason is a long arc.
He can be patient.
He can save some things for later.
there was only one opportunity to add to your roster big picture,
a young in his prime player,
whether it is the most pressing need or not,
this guy coming off of his rookie contract can do it all,
gives you a lot of flexibility,
not only for Vic, but in a post-Vic world.
I could see it being like,
you know what, this is the best value we see on the market
for a blue chip caliber player.
I'll vote for Alante Taylor here.
Yeah, as I mentioned yesterday,
they've been more interested in these types of players over the years
than sometimes we maybe will remember
because they haven't been the top bidder on a guy like Marcus Williams
or Xavier McKinney, but they have been interested
in those types of players.
So I think we put him through.
I'm not saying he's going to be a final four,
but I think we put him through.
All right.
Congratulations to Alente Taylor.
That takes us to the final quadrant.
Defense continuing.
Edgeman.
Boye Mae Mae Mae Mae May May.
What a fun name to say.
Boye Maefe.
He's got Boe in his name.
Yamafe.
Bo Yamafe.
Bo Yamafe.
He goes up against Jaquan Bristker.
Now, Boe Amafay, not a lot of edge rush production.
Pressure merchant, who doesn't hit the quarterback.
But he can drop in coverage.
He plays with a little bit of violence.
He is a power rusher coming from a very successful defense.
going to cost some real
cheddar. He goes up against
Jaquan Brisker. Now, if you want to find
someone with some upside at safety,
who might have a
cheaper market than expected
because of the injury history, concussions,
Bristker makes a lot of sense to me.
I think that's a reasonable upside swing to take.
Yeah.
I don't think the egos are going to be interested
in Maffei from a sense of
going after Maffa would mean that Phillips is gone,
which means there's a third round pick
protect and I think they would much rather go after a Bradley Chubb or whoever it is than a boy
you mafay yeah I think that brisker might be my favorite if you aren't willing to spend
10 plus million on reed blankenship would you be more willing to spend it on a player like joaquin brisker
i think he's my pick for that safety that crop of safety's in the free agency market for that reason
i think brisker should go through i agree with you on brisker ain't even kissed it yet
moves through, and that sends us to the final three matchups
of the second round, which you can watch on all p.hly.com
in Bolvertime.
Nailed it.
Absolutely nailed it.
The synergy.
Speaking of local guys.
I was gonna say Jaquant and Prisker is a local guy.
Hmm. Speaking of other local guys.
Kobe.
Actually local.
Kobe Bryant.
Seahawks safety.
who was part of their sort of Troika of safeties in the Mike McDonald defense.
We are projecting him for about $12 million guaranteed,
which might be a little bit rich.
Kobe Bryant is going up against Arnold Ebiketti,
the edge rusher from the Atlanta Falcons,
who was a little bit squeezed out by their rookies last season.
I would vote heavily for Epiketty here.
I agree. I don't even know if we need to spend much time on it.
I don't think they're going to pay, yeah.
If Kobe Bryant costs about what read Blankenship is going to cost, they will just keep
red Blankenship.
Yeah.
Fran says,
OMG,
it's still the second round.
Also,
Fran texted me.
Everybody's got to remember the later rounds go so much quicker.
Yeah,
but Fran texted me at the beginning of the show,
by the way,
just a video of him waving at me.
And he did it because he knew that I was,
I was presently talking about my phone having so many notifications and how every
time it buzzes,
I get anxiety.
And Fran literally took a three second self-video.
Pretty good.
It was pretty good.
Yeah.
Ding
The guy named
Eponessa is next
AJ Epinessa
The Bill's Edgeman
Who is a little bit
Inside Outside Flex
Power Rusher
Not a lot of
Handcraft and bend
But this is a guy who's going to push the pocket for you
Okay
Makes sense as a
A cheaper level
$4 million or so addition to the edge room.
He goes up against Kobe Durant,
the Rams corner who was so good
that they felt like they had to trade a first round pick
for Trent Mcuffe.
But Fran likes him a lot.
Yeah.
Now what's Durant's projection here?
KD?
No.
Sorry, Kobe Durant.
Kevin Durant's going to make a lot more.
Yeah, at that, sorry, three years, 40 million
for the listeners up there.
Yeah, it's a lot.
So for that reason I'm at Pennetka.
Yeah.
I think he's a better fit for the scheme.
Oh, I think he's a good fit for the scheme at a lower price.
Last one.
Tough one for E.J.
Bradley Chub, who he's been riding for all day long.
I don't like where this is that.
You're like right on the chub?
Yeah, and I'm not, well, no, I'm not a fan of that.
I'm glad we're in both of time.
Bradley Chub, who, the reason that he's an obvious connection here for the Eagles,
played for Vic Fangio twice.
Doesn't count against the compic formula because he's going to be released by the
dolphins and he has hopefully some juice in his legs 30 years old he goes up against
rassuel douglas his teammate from last season with the dolphins former eagle good zone
awareness on the outside have his legs gone does he still have that extra gear at 31 years old
does he want to come back to philadelphia rassul against bradley chub where do you go this
one's tough now i'm going to flip it and ask you i'm going to answer your question with a
question. Would you rather have Rashon Gary or Bradley Chubb if you had to pick one?
At their respective prices? Or just...
Respective prices market as part of the equation?
I want Fran to chime in if he's in the chat still.
I mean, probably Gary. I mean, now it's Gary versus Chubb and an extra player.
Yeah, Gary's younger.
Now, is it Rashon Gary or is it Gary Rashon?
It's Rashon Gary.
You don't get a lot of last name Gary, you know?
I like it. I like his name.
It's a good name.
What would be a funny first name, last name?
What do you mean?
I gave your last name was E.J.
My last name was E.J.?
What if my last name was Ernest?
Eternally, earnest.
That'd be a good name.
The importance of being.
Yeah, I haven't heard that one before.
Fran says he'd prefer Chubb, all things considered.
Really? Okay.
But he's considering all things.
We're only considering like two.
Only have the processing power for that.
I think Bradley Chubb goes through
because I...
This is tough.
This one's really tough.
I'm not sure.
Listen, that's why this is...
It's a tough chub.
That's why they pay the big bucks.
Because you're...
The Bradley Chubb thing,
the reason you put them through
is if you think Jalen Phillips
is not going to extend.
Yes.
They're going to need an outside corner.
Oh, man.
You talk.
You tell me what you think.
I don't know.
Let's go, Chub.
Let's go, Chub.
Okay.
Why?
Give me a reason.
Because I think it is an obvious dot to connect.
Yeah, it's like, if, if Jaylen Phillips leaves, you're probably thinking, like, how many turkeys would you put on them signing Bradley Chubb at that point?
Like, 30 something?
40 something?
No, I wouldn't.
I mean, the base odds, I'm not going to go quite that high.
I might say 30.
I'll stick with 30.
Okay.
And then.
Rassul is just one option.
They're not going to, here's the thing about Rassu.
They're not going to sign Rousal.
in the first four days of free agency.
He's the guy who they're going to be,
okay, our plane at corner is to see where the market is
a week from now and then picks someone in that group.
I just, again, if the Eagles extend Jalen Phillips
in the next 24 hours and Bradley Chubbs' turkeys go way down.
You're talking like five turkeys,
10 turkeys at that point.
Probably fewer than that.
I think like two.
You trade Nolan Smith, you signed Bradley Chubb,
something like that, yeah.
All right, Bradley Chubb moves on.
Congrats to Bradley Chubb.
Time for the sweet 16.
That's okay.
We're going to power through.
We're going to power through.
Well, every matchup we've done today, there are fewer matchups left now.
Yeah.
Isaiah likely versus Charlie Kohler.
Ooh.
Wow.
Another teammate on teammate crime.
I'm going to go to Charlie Kohler.
He's the lower market.
Makes it a little bit more likely, in my opinion.
No pun intended.
I'm going Isaiah likely all day every day.
I'll let the chat decide.
I mean, you said it.
He's expensive.
You barely put him through this round.
No, I didn't.
I was very heavily him on versus Adam Troutman.
Oh, yeah.
You were too targeted at his market.
I think Charlie Kohler is going to cost an amount of money
that is going to make it not make sense.
So you're buying the buzz.
You're thinking that the agents doing his job, doing their job.
Yeah.
I think if you sign Isaiah likely,
you can really talk yourself into
okay, we have solved this position, not solved,
but we have our starting tight end
for the next three years.
Whereas with Charlie Kohler...
Ooh, Francis Kohler.
It is still a question mark.
And Charlie Kohler is like very much
we still need to draft a tight end in April.
Yeah, I think that's fine.
I think you are overstating the possibility
that they are going to spend big
in the tight end market.
I understand that you're saying...
I don't think that they necessarily are.
Yeah, which is why I think Charlie Kohler is the one I put through.
You're really buying this.
Charlie Kohler is about to sign like $9 million a year.
I don't know.
I mean, I think it's more likely they are in his range than Isaiah likely.
You have only barely played a little bit less NFL football than Charlie Kohler has.
Which is why I don't know why you're like, oh, he's about to get paid, man.
I believe I believe the reporters.
But Isaiah likely is going to get paid too.
Yeah, but he deserves it.
He's going to get paid more.
He's been good.
I go
The Collar has just been
We can let the chat decide
I'd go Kohler here
I mean I'm going
Isaiah likely
Are you gonna let the chat decide
Is the question
It depends which thing they decide
Collar versus likely
Signed Kohler
Draft a tight end in round two
And play lots of 12 personnel
Thank you Rob
She's the vision
Get those tight ends on the field
The Kohler bear
All right
You want to do a
You want to
Clip farm?
You want a clip farm, Isaiah Likely?
Sure.
Oh, yes, and.
Clearing it out, I so.
Three, two.
The Eagles have moved on from Dallas, Goddard,
and found their new solution
at the tight end position
in the form of Isaiah Likeley,
who was the number two tight end
behind Mark Andrews with the Baltimore Ravens,
and Isaiah likely brings real receiving juice
unlike that Bozo Charlie Kohler,
who can't catch a cold.
The Eagles now have Isaiah likely
locked up at tight end for the foreseeable future.
That was good.
I think that was a little tighter,
a little bit more efficient in your words.
You know, you're going to keep,
it's going to be grabbing.
I like that.
Yeah, all right.
We're going Charlie Kohler through the next round.
All right.
Fran says that he thinks likely he's going to get 12 to 13.
Culler is like seven and a half to eight.
It's just a different market.
That's all.
I agree.
And I think there's more,
I think there's a more,
a better likelihood of them thinking one or two guys are worth playing in the
deep end than them really being excited to play
that middle group.
I don't, I think that Kohler at that seven and a half to eight is like not quite that
middle ground that they'd like to avoid.
Elijah Vera Tucker as your sixth offensive line du jour against Romeo Dobbs.
Romeo Dobbs.
This one's tough.
They're all going to be hard, but we talked about these guys a lot.
I think you probably go Elijah Verit Tucker here.
Yeah, I wish I knew what Verit Tucker's market's going to be
because they're really, like, if he is a certain level,
then I think he could be worth winning this whole thing.
I think he makes a lot of sense for the Eagles
because he gives you optionality to really trust the board
when it comes to draft weekend.
And it also is like on paper
kind of solves your backup offensive line problem at four positions.
Yeah.
There's just a clear path to it.
You know, that is the path.
The path for Romeo Dobbs is they trade AJ Brown.
They don't trade for another receiver to replace AJ Brown.
They're willing to spend that, you know,
the Jalen Phillips compic game has to factor into this.
There's too many variables, I think.
Elijah Vera Tucker moves on.
And we already have the clip of me saying I like Romeo Dobbs for the Eagles,
so there you go.
We already did the clipping.
David and Joku against Brandon Cooks.
This is a...
Those other matchups were higher paths.
This is this one's a bit of a letdown in the in the sweet 16 I mean they're all hard now. I don't think there are any straightforward
I mean that's not true. There is a chub remaining. Oh God. That was bad. That one's even good. Uh, I'd probably lean cooks here. I think so too. Yeah. Yeah. Let's go Brandon cooks.
Joku. The thing that stinks about the-we hardly no cue is that you have the risk of like
whacking somebody that the eagles are actually going to sign at this point.
Well, yeah, that's the whole game.
It's just...
I mean, hopefully we have done that.
No, no, hopefully we're...
Yeah, but no, but hopefully there are enough,
you know, they're going to sign enough people
and we've covered several of them.
It'd be better than we talked about 64 people
and they're not sending any of them.
I want to be right.
I want to get the final four
is the four players they signed.
Why did Wacking...
Lindsay really laughed so much.
Lindsay really laughed at Wacking.
I thought you were going to say something.
That's beneath the quality of this show.
Wacking is not in a...
appropriate. It's like you you you take somebody out. You whack them.
Words are allowed to have multiple meanings. I don't know if you knew that.
You're really looking up whacking. Whoa, careful. It's going to get me like blocked on the
company's internet. I mean, this is this is like day one stuff. No, I didn't say that though.
I didn't say the thing that I didn't say that. I said that.
Explain to the audience.
No, I'm not going to.
I didn't say whacking blank.
I didn't add the second word to make it a different meaning.
I just said,
I don't want to whack somebody.
I think you should keep talking.
No, I'm done.
Chigo, Conquo against Coquifed.
I think this one's...
Chigo Kong Coquifed.
Sign them both.
There's your room.
The laughs you're getting out of Lindsay today.
I like the word play.
I think Chico Kanko goes through.
Really?
Wait, you're surprised?
You just made the whole argument against Isaiah likely.
Chico Kanko is going to be in that same price tier.
I think he's a little bit lower, and I think he also makes more sense.
He's been, I would rather have.
Make up your mind.
Do you care about a guy who's played or not?
What's your projection on him?
It's four years, 45 million.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's a little bit lower.
I think that that makes more sense to me.
It's not really lower.
It's basically the exact same.
It's a little bit lower.
Just a little lower.
I kind of like co-keefed.
I'll give you co.
You lost the caller argument.
I can't have all the guys.
I didn't lose the argument.
You did.
I just,
you lost the argument.
Seated ground.
Yeah.
I was,
I mean,
my,
my idea.
You really don't seed ground though.
You just lost.
It's okay.
Um,
brand says,
Chig is the poor man's likely.
And Kieft is the poor man's likely.
So this game is really devolved into us, just not giving up any position on the guys we like.
All right, I'll give you co-keef.
I know, that's fine.
Co-Kieft moves on.
I like the story.
I like the idea of him throwing you through the brick wall.
Yeah, me too.
We're going to make that happen.
All right, defense.
Trayvon Diggs against Marshawn Lattimore.
This is kind of an interesting one.
Yeah, it's like the scrapyard of veteran cornerbacks that you're wondering if they have it.
Does Unks still have it?
No offense.
Trayvon Diggs is not an unk.
but he's injured, yeah.
He's not an unk.
Injury unk, not age unk.
Okay.
And for that reason, I think I will say Trayvon Diggs.
I agree with you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm not saying I feel great about him as a scheme fit,
but I'd feel a little bit better about him being, like,
available and healthy enough to actually compete for that job.
And I think there's, yeah,
I think there's an easier way to squint and see this guy for one year
can, like, really rebuild his value and,
be an above average player at the position,
then really expecting Latimore to be healthy is tough.
Yeah.
I go Trayvon Diggs as well.
Just like a quick Trayvon Diggs note, too.
I feel like I remember a lot of Eagles fans.
I just remember the discourse around Trayvon Diggs being,
oh, he's a risk taker, you know, he's going to give up big plays
and he's going to get interceptions.
He's always kind of like cheating for interceptions.
And it's like that was Asante Samuel with the Eagles, you know?
Like we had an up close view.
I mean, I love that style of cornerback.
Right.
Yeah, exactly.
I feel like Asante taught me as a fan how to really appreciate.
I just remember like the intellectual dishonesty it took to like criticize Trayvon Diggs for playing that way
when Eagles fans love DeSante Samuel so much.
I like it too.
I think it's a good.
I don't know if Nick Siriani would love it.
Well.
Yeah.
Not his, not his money.
And Vic Fanjo's going to have a say.
Gino Stone against Alante Taylor.
No.
No.
The bottom of the barrel of the.
The bottom of the barrel of the safety market,
or are you playing at the tippity top of the corner market?
I think Gino Stone.
Okay, I think we've made the case for the outside possibility of Alante Taylor,
but Geno Stone probably makes a little bit more sense.
Yeah, more realistic.
And certainly we'll be a, Alante Taylor's going to have a,
they're going to be competitors.
You know, keeping my innuendo streak going here.
We're a nut cutting time now.
You know, we got to make sure we're really just getting right to it,
realistic or not.
And I think Gino Stone is more realistic.
Okay.
You don't like a nut cutting time?
You don't like the expression?
Keep those cuts away from me.
Jaquan Brisker against Arnold Ebiketti.
Oh, man, this is tough.
This one's hard.
This could have been the championship game.
No, maybe not championship.
It could have been a final four.
This is a good one.
I like this one.
Yeah, this could have been final four.
I could really see both of these plays landing in Philadelphia.
This is like a Duke, Virginia,
sweet, what are we, in the Elite 8,
Sweet 16?
I mean, it's Duke, hopefully it's the NIT.
Yeah, sorry.
I should have known.
Losers.
This is like a Gonzaga, Virginia matchup.
A little earlier than you wouldn't expect it.
It's going to be a low-scoring game.
I mean, this kind of is that type of matchup.
A little less.
Dequan Brisker,
upside injury history.
What's it going to cost?
Ebiketti.
I think he could have a surprisingly
stronger market than some people expect.
Really?
I think it could go up to like nine or something like that.
But it could also be four.
And this is the Ojolari.
I think I am going to go abiketti
because Reed Blankenship is a variable
that has to play out for Brisker to be the,
to be available to them.
It's tough though.
Because I could see, I really could.
I could see Jaquan Brisker being the reed blankenship replacement.
Like higher upside safety.
What do you think?
I'm going to lean Ebiketti, but I'm very torn here.
I think I go, I go Epiketti too.
For the simple reason.
Presker's a pre-draft Visiki?
I don't know.
The simple reason that I think Ebiketi...
So is Epiquet.
It would still be here, even if they resigned
Jaylon Phillips.
That is a,
it's not likely,
but it's an outcome that is possible.
Yeah,
there are fewer,
there are fewer obstacles
for him to be on the team.
They're both pre-draft visit guys.
Yeah.
Both PA,
Penn State guys.
Ebiketti's probably cheaper,
has fewer things
that need to happen
for him to get there.
I think he should go through.
It's tough though.
That was a good one.
I really like the idea of Brisker
as a starting safety
in this defense, though.
AJ Epinessa against Yeboy,
Bradley Chubb. Don't say this one's hard. It really is just more a question of what do you think's
going to happen with Jalen Phillips. I think I'm going to go Epinessa. Really? I thought you're
going to ride Chubb to the end. I wasn't going to do that now. It wasn't that hard.
I actually kind of think I lean Chub here. Really? Yeah.
Epinessa could just be a like second week of free agency
No doubt
Add them to the rotation because they don't they just don't have bodies there
I mean what how many turkeys are you putting on them resigning Jalen Phillips
41
Okay
That's one of the things by the way
Oh yeah 41
41
I don't know if you're putting 41 turkey
A woman who went ahead of me one of the first presentations today
It was a veteran air and she gave an awesome presentation.
It was really fun to watch.
But she just said six.
And they all went.
Six.
He's like, how do you see them coming?
You didn't even say seven.
He just got to six.
Doesn't take much.
Yeah.
If you're putting 41 turkeys on the Eagles just not having any interest in Bradley Chubb,
doesn't that make you lean more toward Eponessa?
Uh, no, because I think Epinessa is still like only going to be
one of a few guys and were an option.
I mean, we just put Eboketty through.
I guess there are a focus.
Yeah, okay.
I'm gonna go Chubb.
There's a higher,
there's a higher percentage chance of him having a high percentage chance, probably.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Chubb it is.
Elite eight time.
Charlie Kohler against Elijah Verritucker.
The Kohler bear against Elijah Verit Tucker.
I hardly know her.
Kohler.
I'm more worried about Elijah Vera Tucker's market taking off than Charlie Kohler.
That's my argument.
I'm going AVT here.
Why do you hate Charlie Kohler, man?
I don't hate him.
He's just barely existed.
I'm going to say it again.
He's been in the NFL for four seasons.
He's played more than half of the snaps in a single game,
more than half the snaps in a game seven times.
That's it.
I want Fran to be the tiebreaker.
if he's still in the chat.
It's gonna have fresh legs.
Fran is on my side of this argument.
Charlie Collar goes through.
Doesn't make you right.
Charlie Kohler.
It's less about Charlie Kohler.
It's like you're just like trying to like nag
Charlie Kohler every round.
Elijah Verer Tucker could get paid starter money.
Charlie Kohler is gonna get paid starter money.
He's never played.
As Fran says, a lot of mileage on them tires.
Just more reason to believe his best football
is ahead of him as an outside zone edge ceiling demon how how dumb do you have to think his
coaching staff has been for his entire career oh though i'm going to stop good but right there you are
the king of questioning the coaching staff you were the king of being like oh these idiots they don't
they don't understand like you know they should be using darius cooper more why aren't they
using darius cooper that's first all this is unfair it would be the first time a coach hasn't identified
a talented player in their building.
It happens all the time.
I mean, to me, you're just making the case that you think
the Eagles have a bad front office if you think they're going to be spending all this
money on Charlie Cool.
What does it have to do with that?
No, it would be identifying.
Because really the thing about Charlie Kohler, the reason that that's real football guys,
Fran and I, the reason that we like him is because if you do the work on him,
you realize the upside that he has as a player.
You see that his college tape shows that he can be a real threat as a receiver.
And he has shown in the NFL that he is a K-A-Rexam.
capable blocker in the system, in the system that the Eagles are about to run.
I see him run around.
Okay, listen, you don't have to look amazing as a tight end to be a dynamic after the catch.
He's physical.
He's got the traits that you would want at the position.
I think you should go through.
Congratulations to Elijah Vera Tucker for moving on to the final floor.
He's going to get, there's way more of a chance he's going to get paid than Charlie Kohler, like out of the Eagles range.
I bet you
Charlie Kohler gets more guaranteed money than Elijah Veritucker
Wait
Charlie Kohler gets more guaranteed money
than Elijah Veritucker yes
What is your projection for Verit Tucker again
You have him at 5 million guaranteed
I think he's got a chance to start
I think he's gonna I think he will have a chance
To actually sign like a real deal
That's why I'm offering the bet
What will be betting?
Pasta Ficcios.
No something on the first.
show. I don't want to do anything. No, it's not a punishment bet. I don't agree to a punishment
bet. Okay. Why can't I, why can I just go buy you lunch? Would that be so bad?
Sure. Yeah, if you're going to talk about Charlie Kohler for all the entire meal. Uh,
yeah, fine, lunch. Okay. So you're putting AVT through despite me and friends and passionate arguments.
Yes
Fran doesn't like
I took the bet
Yeah because it's a bad bet
I don't mind buying any lunch
It's fine
All right
Elijah Vera Tucker moves on
To the final four
Good to have offensive line
representation
Now Brandon Cooks
Against Coquift
Go ahead
No I'll let you pick this one
Oh I think Coakift is my choice
Oh okay
Congratulations to Coquift
Who moves on
Craveon
against Gino Stone.
This one is actually difficult.
They're really only signing Gino Stone
if Reed signs elsewhere.
And if he's their pick
for a replacement at safety.
Trayvon Diggs is,
there are fewer variables there.
I mean, it's just,
do they think he is an interesting player
to add to the roster going into training camp?
So for that reason,
I think I go to Trayvon Diggs.
I agree with you.
As usual.
You know, I hope that they do sign Charlie Kohler, because now he has become like a thing on the show.
Yeah.
Arnold Ebiketti against Bradley Chup.
Oh, man.
I think probably Chubb.
They could sign Epiketti if they re-sign Phillips, though.
Yeah.
But they also could sign Epinessa.
Here's the thing.
Do you want to, if Vigo signed Bradley Chubb, everybody was able to connect those dots.
No one's going to go, wow, the guys on the PHA My Eagles podcast really got that one.
Oh, okay.
If you single out Arnold Epiquetti, does that have a chance to make us look better?
I mean, we've talked about Arnold Eboketty being a good fit.
Yeah.
We already have the clip.
Okay.
I think we've covered ourselves there.
If the exercise is about getting the most likely, which it's not because you didn't put Charlie Kohler through to the next round,
Why? Do you have reporting that Degos are interested in Charlie Kohler?
It's a guess based off of, you know, my sensibility and my logic,
something that, you know, maybe I'll not almost have at this desk.
I couldn't even keep a straight face saying.
I would probably lean Bradley Chub here.
I'm going to defer to you, unlike what I did with Charlie Kohler when you became a tyrant.
What does the chat think here, Epiquetti or Bradley Chub?
There's not a lot of juices.
on this one. They're still mad about
Charlie Kohler. Yeah, well. Justice for
Charlie.
Let's make sure everybody's
in that like button, please.
The thumbs up. Make it happen.
Is this thing on?
Go ahead, make your decision.
It seems like
Chubb has the
votes. All right, let's go with Chubb.
Bradley Chubb moves to the final four.
All right, here we go.
After all of that, we have reached.
the final four of quacketology.
Oh, what a ride it's been.
Up here,
Elijah Veritucker.
Down here.
Coquifed.
Up here,
Trayvon Diggs,
and over here, Bradley Chopp.
Who?
We'll make it
to become
crowned
the champion of quackatology.
E.J., Elijah
Veritucker, or co-keft,
two offensive linemen.
These are your guys.
Guys, I feel like I should let you decide.
As much as I love the idea of the Bo and Coe show.
Just getting tossed through a...
Man, you really have...
Shohorned Elijah Vera Tucker into this final.
All right. Joe Douglas guy.
All things I noted in the first round, yeah.
Elijah Verra Tucker was the one I think I color-coded my notes on him.
I'm going to Elijah Verit Tucker.
I'm going to say what I have in my notes and I said in the first round,
he feels Brandon Brooksie, but probably too expensive.
I don't think he's going to be that expensive.
We'll see.
We will see.
You allow him to move on to the championship?
That's fine.
Yeah, I mean, I'm not going to pound the table for co-keef.
He's not my guy.
Oh, man, he would be a fun player, though.
Go, go, go, go, go.
Why do you like him and you don't like Charlie Kohler?
Because he's going to cost a dollar.
I don't know about that.
Co-keft?
I don't feel strongly.
He's going to cost the minimum.
I don't feel strongly about his market.
Yeah.
And he has zero targets.
two years. He's going to cost nothing.
Okay.
Okay. Trayvon Diggs or Bradley Chubb?
Oh.
Feels like the smart money is on Chubb.
But to your point about the previous round,
if we get Trayvon Diggs right,
pretty good for us.
Hmm.
I still probably would go with Bradley Chubb.
This one's tougher.
I would go Diggs because
in any situation of the way the Eagles office season turns out,
Trayvon Diggs is a possibility.
Yeah.
And Bradley Chubb is not.
But is there a chance, there is a chance
that the Eagles are just out on Trayvon Dix,
whether it's medical or anything else.
Yeah.
The chat says Chubb?
No.
I need to see, we need the chat.
I think we need the chat's help for this one.
You say so.
You feel strongly about Diggs.
I have an opinion, yeah.
I would lean Diggs.
I think I lean Bradley Chubb.
I'm okay with Chub.
If you want to push Chub in, I'm open to it.
It's been a wild ride in overtime.
Let's go with Bradley Chubb.
All right.
Bradley Chub moves on.
If they sign Trayvon Diggs, you can blame me.
If they sign Charlie Kohler, I'll blame everybody.
All right, the championship game, here we go.
Elijah Verit Tucker against Bradley Chubb.
On the count of three, say who you think is going to be the winner.
Who deserves to be the winner?
Ready?
Who will be the quackatology champion?
Three, two, one.
Elijah Veritucker.
You really want Elijah Veritucker to be the winner?
I don't want Chubb to be the winner.
Too obvious.
Okay.
You know what?
Fine.
I think that makes sense.
Like, we need to take a swing here.
A. VT.
A VT.
A VT.
It was a good run for the Kohler Bear.
I did my best.
Ladies and gentlemen,
64 free agents entered the arena.
And only one is walking out as the 2006 quacketology champion.
Ladies and gentlemen, please.
Give it up, give it up.
for Elijah Vera Tucker
I don't think that's how I thought it was going to play out
I mean you literally made it play out that way
I followed the truth
your truth
there are other I had other
scenarios as possible winners
if you have listened to the consensus
would you have had Charlie Charlie Turner win at all
no I was going to ask you do you think he would have won
if he had won over Elijah Vera Tucker
as he probably should have
Um, I don't know.
I think I would have...
What was Elijah Vera Tucker's path after Charlie Kohler?
It was just...
It was just...
That was the elite eight, so it was just co-keefed.
Yeah, he would have won that one.
Yeah, he probably would have won the whole thing.
I think I would have voted for Trayvon Diggs to win then.
I mean, you would have.
Yeah, I might have gone Trayvon Dix.
I mean, now I, like, as J.G in the chat says,
J.G. Hater, actually, I shouldn't call him J.G.
he says I can claim Charlie Kohler and Bradley Chubb here.
So this is a win for me.
It's a win for all of us, most chiefly among them, the listeners and the viewers.
I mean, what entertainment that was.
Like the split in the poll.
50-50 for the winner.
Really? 50-50.
For which one?
For the final.
Tucker or, yeah, okay.
I think that's representative.
It was tough.
now AVT's creeping ahead
oh no back behind
no creeping ahead
it's neck and neck
could come down to a show
okay
we're live Monday
at noon
for three hours
but there's a chance
we'll see it before then
yeah I hope so
yeah got any push notice
no I don't
sorry I didn't mean I hope
we're doing an emergency podcast
over the week
I hope I see you guys on Monday
oh
I hope so too
yeah
What was your favorite part of quacketology?
All the puns.
How does this quacketology?
Oh, sorry, Lindsay, go on.
And the Jimmy Garoppel pick.
Yeah, of course.
I mean, she gets him.
You just start decorating the office with pictures.
Should I share a little fun fact about myself,
kind of to do with quackatology that I was at the 2016 National Championship?
Nova.
I was there.
I was on the court.
Flax.
Huge flakes.
Oh, gosh.
God.
Are there, like,
are there photos of, like,
the ball in the air that you can see you?
Or you were the other way.
Yeah.
No, we're at that.
We were that side.
Oh, really?
I can't tell the listeners that because now they're going to go find Lindsay.
They don't know which one I am.
You don't know which one she is.
They don't know what I was doing.
Yeah.
I was playing.
I'm Chris Jenkins.
That's awesome.
I was going to ask, how does this quocatology compare?
It's, you know,
you got a lot of history doing this exercise.
Good question.
I don't remember.
Okay.
All of them.
All of this stuff phase into existence.
I believe, I don't think he won last year, but he had a deep run.
And I thought about having him in the tournament this year, but Fran, last year was making the case that he's not a very good scheme fit.
Who's this?
And his old friend, Benjamin Santa Josa.
Of course.
Osprey's presenter, Benjamin St. Chuse.
Yeah.
Friend of the show, I would say.
No doubt about it.
Yeah.
Oh, ho.
Why I had fun.
Me too.
All right, everybody.
Thanks for staying with us.
We will be with you.
Monday.
It all starts.
It all gets cracking.
Boys are going to be exciting.
We will be here to take you through all of it.
And if anything happens before then,
you bet your bottom dollar,
we're going to do an emergency podcast.
So stay tuned for that.
For E.J. Smith.
For Lindsay.
for Fran
