Hello everybody and welcome to the P.H.O.I. Eagles podcast on a Wednesday.
Live from the Xfinity Studio and presented by Ashley Bowulf and E.J. Smith.
Face down, thumbs up. That's the way we like you to react to this video. Hit that thumbs up button.
How you doing, I was doing great until I heard that. I mean, geez. Just coming into the show, guns of blazing.
It's a loopy Wednesday. I hope everybody got to see Unblocked today.
Moro Ojimo joining the show with Brandon Graham.
Some good insight from Big Mo.
Big Mo.
Coach Mo.
Have a good time with Morrow.
Yeah.
I was an in-on coordinator, so I did not get to listen.
I'm excited to listen on my drive home.
Great get for you guys.
Let me tell you something else.
Last night, I had a chance to go see the premiere,
the Philadelphia premiere of Go Deep, the Deshawn Jackson documentary.
That's going to be premiering on Amazon Prime tomorrow.
Mm-hmm.
Fascinating.
stuff.
Really?
Yeah.
So, well, I mean, even I was aware of this when Deshawn was on the Eagles that his brother,
who was, you know, 10, 15 years older, it was like shooting a documentary at the time.
Yeah.
And his brother started filming Deshaun dating back to when he was like seven years old.
And he was there last night.
He said it's over like 7,000 hours of footage.
Wow.
Lindsay, imagine the Herculane task of trying to whittle down 7,000 hours of footage into 90 minutes to tell the story.
But the breadth of the things that they capture is unbelievable.
It gives you unbelievable insight into Deshawn what his childhood was like, primarily what his dad was like.
And it explains a lot.
It's really, it's Eagles fans, anybody will enjoy watching that.
Yeah.
Sounds great.
I'm excited to see it.
You know, as someone who has been.
been told like you're going to be videotaping a lot of things.
You know, maybe one day, uh, really interesting.
I'll be making one of them.
And there's some really, you know, some good football stuff there.
Yeah, I'm sure.
Nerdy stuff.
It's great.
It's everybody checked that out.
Okay.
Let's get to Wawa Wednesday presented by, you guessed it, Wawa.
Shout out Wawa.
Shout out to Wawa.
Tell us what is going on at the Eagles facility.
What did you learn?
Yeah, we heard from Vic Fangio today.
he's always really punctual, which I appreciate early even a lot of times.
He was wearing a Phillies hat today.
You know, Phillies diehard, I would say.
He's probably reading Corey Seidman.
He's watching the Phillies show every day.
That's right.
Yeah, like I said, a real diehard.
We talked about the defense a little bit yesterday,
and I said that I was maybe not quite ready to overreact to where they are.
But, you know, I was looking through the numbers earlier today, you know, where they rank in some of the key metrics that we look at.
And I would say it is mildly concerning.
just in terms of where they stack up across the league.
So I sent these over to you, Lindsay.
It's EPA per drive, they're 16th, success rate they're 12th,
turnover EPA is the big one.
They're 29th.
And then pass rush win rate,
which is one I think we would have expected them to be pretty high.
22nd, I know you're not a pressures guy, but still.
And then SAC EPA per game 28th.
I would say that they haven't been a splashy defense through two games.
They haven't had like the pop plays that, you know,
the plays that Jonathan Gannon used to refer to as the defensive
explosive plays, you know, getting a team behind the stick.
So, you know, I thought it was not...
Two weeks in and all of a sudden you're spouting Gannonisms.
I am not, I've never been as out on Jonathan Gannon as the rest of the people in our orbit.
And that's fine.
You know, I'm not saying I love the guy, but, you know, just, you know, using it to kind of,
I like to give credit when I use other people's term.
You got it.
Big Gord.
I like it.
Shats, explosives.
Pee-woo.
So Vic Fangio said he was not concerned about the, you got to, you know,
the lack of turnovers. He said that they have to take the ball away, but said he feels like the
defense is due. He was much more fixated on the tackles, the mistackles in particular. I said,
we've got to tackle and not miss tackles because we're trying to go for the ball. It bugs me.
That can be a problem at times. I don't think it's an epidemic at this point, but we need to make
sure that doesn't happen. Well, we know he doesn't think it's a pandemic.
You know, I knew you were going to make a joke about that.
I mean, it's sitting right there. It's not a pandemic.
or anything, you know, let's not overreact.
Like, take off the face masks.
Like, Fauci.
I'm concerned, yeah.
But yeah, I found those comments noteworthy from him.
Vic is always going to be honest about where the defense stands.
He doesn't seem like, you know, concerned about where they, where they're at.
But I think he, I think the term he kept using is just play better.
They have to just play better as a season progresses.
And, and they deserve some grace early in the season.
They're allowed to play their way into the season a little bit.
I think you're allowed, I think you're allowed, I think you're allowed,
game of mistackles, like where it's like it's really bad across the board.
I think you get one of those.
After that, it's like, okay, this is, this is a real issue.
And, you know, Vic's going to start chewing off some heads.
Yeah, I think that's fair.
Which of the metrics that I mentioned earlier, which one surprises you the most?
You know, like, if you went back two weeks ago, which one would you say I feel confident
they'd be top 10 in that one?
I guess, honestly, success rate, which is their best, I'm surprised.
that it's as I would have been surprised
that it's as low as it is because turnovers are fluky
and whether whether or not you believe
that you can wield them into existence or you know you can't
they are fluky to some degree good defenses tend to have them
but it's only been two weeks I don't think it's crazy
that they haven't had a turnover yet and and all of those other
metrics aside from pass rush win rate
win rate are tied to that and the lack of turnovers
so the success rate being 12 yeah I would have
expected them to be better than that. I think pass rush win rate is the one for me. I know that you are
a little bit less into the pressure. No, but it's it's it's directionally correct about the the
absence of an impact pass rush so far. I was going to say I didn't do well in statistics,
but there's a word for the fact that they're all being judged on the same curve that makes it to me
indicative of like where they stand league wide. And I I would have expected this pass rush to rank
closer to the top of the NFL. Even in an imperfect metric, I would have expected
them to be higher. So that's the one that stands out to me. And I asked Vig Van Gio...
Now, if I asked you, I'm sorry. Yeah, go ahead. On the pass rush win rate, being as low as it is,
whose performance do you think has most surprised you? Yeah, it's a good question. I mean, as much as
we were bullish on Jalick's hunt, I thought Jalen Carter would have had like a start to the season where
it was emphatic. Yeah. And I asked Vig Fangio about Jalen Carter and his evaluation of the performance.
What a tease. I what a transition, baby. We're a good.
And Vic said he actually did a little better than I thought he would because he's got a cast on his one hand and a wrist injury that can really hinder you, but he did better than I thought he would.
And what that tells me is that this wrist injury is real.
You know, the fact that Vic is looking at Jalen Carter, we've all talked about, you know, highest paid defense to tackle in football, the Eagles are paying him for what they think he can become.
The fact that like he hasn't been as impactful as we would have expected and Vic is even still saying up on the podium like, hey, he's managing.
it pretty well, you know, for where he's at.
I think that shows you that...
He's going to fluff him just to fluff him.
Yeah, it shows you that it's probably an injury that is going to impact his play,
even as much as Jalen Carter said it isn't going to.
So you can read it one of two ways.
It's good that he's not, you know, struggling from where Vic would want him to be.
But I think the fact that Vic is, like, positive about it shows you that he's not quite...
He's not close to 100%.
So then if he's disappointed in the group, but it's okay with what Jalen Carter has done,
Who was he?
Who did it seem like to you he was particularly disappointed with?
You know, that's a good question because he will talk in a minute.
He was just not playing that game.
He was defensive with Jihad.
Okay.
Obviously, it's not Zach Vaughn.
I wonder if it's the secondary overall.
I wonder if maybe, obviously Quinyan and Rik have played very well.
Yeah.
He was, he said that Drew McCuba played a solid, like a fine game bordering on great,
or bordering on good is what he said,
which again, to me, that's like, that's high praise from Vick.
To be like, yeah, you know, he was solid, like almost good.
I think that that's actually high praise.
But I wonder, I mean, I don't want to make it sound like
it's DeGien's like performance in the sense of like he's not playing well enough.
I think he's just playing through something.
And I wonder if they're accounting for that.
And I wonder if that's part of it.
But in the past rush in particular, it's hard to pin down exactly who it would be.
I mean, Jalickson Nolan haven't been totally impactful.
Maybe that's what he would say.
But I think that the group needs Jonathan Grenard back.
And oh, by the way, Vic had a note on Jonathan Grenard that I thought was quite noteworthy as well.
He said, Gernard has a better chance than last week to play.
He said, we'll see how he looks in practice.
But then talking about what it's going to look like when he comes back, he's definitely not ready for a full workload.
He's not just coming off in activity.
He's coming off an injury.
His injury, for a good bit, the first four to six or seven weeks, he couldn't do a lot of conditioning.
so he's nowhere near ready for a full load.
So that tells you,
we're not going to see like the full 100%
Jonathan Gerdardt experience
maybe at all this season,
but at least not until the,
probably the back half of the season.
Yikes.
I don't know.
The Eagles pass rush,
I'm not willing to like ring the alarm bells on it.
A scale 1 to 10,
I'm 3 out of 5% of 10.
Ding, don't.
3.5 out of 10.
That's your.
level of concern.
10 being
out there.
Well,
10 would be
not you,
but yeah.
I mean,
it's okay.
I'm a 40-year-old
10 would be
white guy.
10 would be
that you were out there,
yeah.
If 10 is you...
I mean,
honestly,
that would be kind of fun
for people to watch,
though, let's be honest.
I don't know if I'd have fun
watching you get like pummeled
on an NFL field.
That'd be so fun.
If it wasn't me,
it'd be so fun to watch,
you'd get at me.
So you're saying you would enjoy me.
Just get my butt-gradeed.
Yeah, absolutely.
kicked out there.
Absolutely.
Thanks a lot.
As long as I was, as long as I was given some kind of indication that you were not going to die on the field.
I mean, I think I, now I'm going to be like Elliot.
I don't think I would die on the football field.
NFL football field.
I don't think I'd die.
You don't think so.
Yeah.
I think I'd be, I'd get destroyed, but I think I would serve my life.
Do you get a practice ramp up or you just show up one day and you show to the press box and like,
oh, no, you're going on the field, my friend.
You can't have a practice.
I mean, what are we doing?
Yeah.
Yeah.
They're not signing me
to the practice squad.
Yeah.
You're trying to,
you're out to trying to jump to snap.
I think I would probably get seriously injured,
but not die.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'd like break something and have to go to the hospital.
I mean,
you would,
the very first play,
you would get the wind
completely knocked out of you.
You'd get pancakes.
What position do I play?
Well,
in this,
in this where you're playing the defensive line.
Right.
You're in the past roller edge rusher,
though,
because that's different.
I guess you can choose.
I think you probably choose edge
because you don't want to get double-team.
I would break a leg if I got double-teamed, like first play.
I think you would just get,
you would just be plummeted into the air.
You would just be forcefully pushed
and you would land on your back and you would...
Yeah, I'll never forget.
Knocked out of you.
There was one time in the post-game locker room
that Jordan Milata was falling toward me
and that was like the first time in my life
that I really realized what it must be like to play in the NFL.
Like, just imagine him, like falling into you.
Yeah.
It's a terrifying thing.
It's like you are, you could kill me.
Who are Bernard?
And he said, you are.
Oh, or Bernard falling out, you would be a scary sight too.
And I'm not a small guy, but it's terrifying.
I don't think I would die.
But I think I would probably get injured.
Franz says you're saying, you're saying now that you'd rather go up against Jordan Mila than Drew Kendall.
Yeah, I mean,
the shield Capadia accused me of like putting Drew Kendall in the Hall of Fame already.
All right, let's close the book on Wawa Wednesday.
I do think we have to take a second here.
Yeah.
To just gash you up a little bit because if the people really want to know what's going on with the Eagles,
I mean, Eagles insider-wise, you were all over the offensive line.
You were all over Zach or it's before anybody else.
I mean, you want to know what's going on.
You got to watch this show.
appreciate you saying that. I agree with the latter part. If you want to know what's going on
with the team, watch the show. You know, I try to inform as much as I can. Yeah, it's been a good start
to the season. But, you know, it's not about what you did. It's about what you got coming. Sure.
Yeah. Appreciate that. What did you get up? What did you say about Jihad? Um, yeah. So it was,
it was, uh, my former colleague, Jeff McLean was asking about some of the missed coverage assignments
from Jihad Campbell. Um, what percentage of the Eagles Bede Corps is a former colleague of one of us?
Yeah. I mean, it's very interesting. Yeah. It's a good point. Um, almost. Um, almost
all of them.
So Vic kind of pushed back.
He's like, I don't know what you're referring to with like the coverage, you know, mistakes.
And Jeff said, like, it seemed like there were one or two of them.
And Vic says, or I think Jeff said, like, what was your reevaluation of the way that he played?
And Vic says, good.
Could he be better?
Yeah, but I don't see the issues that you're trying to drum up.
And now listen, Jeff and Vic have a good relationship.
I don't think this was actually, this is like when Stout did the I love Jeff McLean thing.
I think it's a mutual respect.
So don't, I'm not, I have the only reason I shared it.
is not to make it seem like he was trying to own Jeff.
But yeah, Vic being defensive over Jahad was noteworthy to me.
I think that there's been real mixed reviews over his play.
And I think the fact that Vic is trying to quiet that down,
he wouldn't say that if he didn't truly believe it.
I mean, maybe he's trying to build his confidence up,
but I think that he is happy with the way Jahad's played.
Okay.
Well, with that in mind, make a little break.
I'm back on the other side and bring in Mina Kimes a big fan of Jahad Campbell.
Say what, that's much more to come on the PHA Y Eagles podcast.

All right, it is time for everybody's favorite every other week segment.
Our friend Mina Kimes from ESPN and the Mina Kimes show featuring Lenny joins us.
Mina, how are you?
So excited about this scintillating Monday night matchup.
Yeah, you're going to be there as Case Keenum faces down the horror show of his history with the Philadelphia Eagles.
That's right. Yeah.
Yeah.
not as exciting a game as we might have thought a week ago, but that's okay.
Looks so good on the schedule.
When you open the Monday night schedule, you pick out the games, you're excited for.
First of all, I'm excited anytime there's a game in Chicago or even the East Coast that's early in the season.
Yes.
I'm pleased about that.
But also, I was so pumped to see this matchup.
And, you know, I'll still be there.
Well, there's still a little bit there because, you know, the bears ran all over the
Eagles last year, record setting day.
The, you know, Vic Fangier is going to be showing these guys those clips all week long.
They're going to have to, you know, they're still got to prove they can do something.
I think that was the, in my household, famous, my mother-in-law showing up and saying,
we're the shame of the NFL game.
She's actually about to be here.
She arrives in two days for my son's birthday.
I actually don't know if she's staying and through Monday night.
But I'll have to get her temperature for, uh, for,
just how she's feeling through two weeks in person and report back.
Yeah, if things are, if you come home and things are broken in the house,
we'll know how the game went.
If you guys, if, if Philadelphia loses this one,
I do think that might merit some things being broken.
All right.
Well, let's get to that because, you know,
last time we talked was right before the season.
We now have two games of evidence that tell us that the offense is still a work in progress.
The running game needs to be solved.
but through two games
Jalen Hertz looks really good
doesn't it? Yeah, especially this
last week I just had a chance
to go back and watch the tape and I thought
he was really impressive. I also
came away from this week feeling better
not better but like pretty good
about Sean Mannion, the play caller and
sort of the structure of the passing game.
Dan Orlovsky and I were laughing
because we were watching NFL live
and we were playing
cut up of some of the past plays and just
seeing like the way he was using
motions and formations to actually create opportunities for these terrific receivers.
It's a far cry from all hitches all the time.
Just the, you know, the horizontal movement of the receivers alone is pleasing to the eye.
But yeah, Hertz has been excellent.
He's been accurate.
He's been sharp.
And I think you saw in week two as well, like, you know, the, they're the little bit of the
evolution of the offense as they continue building out the past game.
He threw over the middle of the field a lot more.
I thought he threw with anticipation.
He seems to have faith in the structure of the offense.
So you're feeling good about the quarterback.
Yeah, these are things that we've talked about.
Like it's impressive how comfortable he looks in this offense already.
Everything does seem to be on time.
He's bailing them out on third down in a big way.
And they have been one of the worst offenses in football on first and second down.
And a large part of that is because they're just going run, run pass.
And the running game is really bad right now.
So do you see signs of hope for what we've seen from the running game so far?
Yeah, Green Bay fans will say that's definitely a Green Bay guy going run, run pass,
even though we can't run the football.
That is very much the Matt LaFleur identity.
And they would say, the coaches would say, well, we really want to create run-pass conflict.
The run game is tied to the past game.
That is part of the premise of this all.
I saw had quite a few dropbacks from under center in this game, too.
but yeah it's pretty ugly
I think
it's hard
because the problems are so much
they're much more personnel
driven than any scheme
I think you could argue the scheme
does the run game no favors
because especially when you know
they get condensed
and they're trying to use the tight ends
they just don't have the players right now
to do it.
They're just getting blown off the ball
Sequin and the other backs
have no chance back there
so I do wonder
you know, if there's a
move, if there's no move to be made
with regards to the players,
if you might see him
6-0 line?
I was about to say, I hate to always
smash the quarterback run game
to just try to get,
but Hertz is obviously running
very well. You don't want to expose him
to unnecessary hits, but at the moment
it feels like...
Don't pull a Drew Breeze on us, Mina,
telling Jalen to drop his shoulder on
in the second quarter of week two.
come on wild stuff uh yeah it's it's it's it's it's it's it's tough obviously they're up against it
it with the injuries on the interior too and and that causes a lot of problems so so i'm hoping you can
give me some context here because i was looking up some of like the worst two week two weeks stretches
of early down run success over the past couple of years and one that popped up that was similarly
bad was the beginning of last season weeks like three and four with the seahawks
who then were able to turn things around.
How do they do it?
I'm not an expert of the beginning of last year's Seahawks season.
Was that a personnel thing?
Or was that just sort of them coalescing as the season went on?
That had a lot to do with the way defenses were playing them.
Because in the first half of the CACs love putting big bodies on the field.
And they actually have tight ends who can block.
AJ Barn is a really good blocker.
They were using the fullback a lot.
But defenses were really playing them with a lot of base.
So the flip, that's the three linebackers.
So the flip side of having a pretty inefficient run game was JSN, at the same time,
was putting up bonkers numbers until defense is said, wait a second.
Maybe we should focus on stopping 11 and let them run the ball a little bit more.
And then it's no coincidence as the season went on.
They started running better, I think, because of how defenses were playing them more so than any.
You know, I think Kubiak did some pretty interesting things using his tight ends and the fullback
to move people around.
And maybe there's, you know,
the Munt, Johnny Munt, the blocking tight end,
interestingly enough, I think that's one piece
where he hasn't been super impressive
early on as a blocker,
but I do wonder if there's other ways to move him,
literally to get him on the move
as opposed to having him so close to the formation.
But yeah, there's not really easy schematic answers.
To be honest, getting defenses to fear the past game
is probably going to be the most helpful thing.
Yeah, I think that's right.
And I think that comes down to, we've talked about then maybe having some kind of look in the mirror moment like they had in 2024 when they went the other direction and said, okay, we need to become a running team.
I think they need to on early downs be a little bit more pass heavy.
And if you are as productive as they've been in the passing game for the first two weeks and Devante is being sort of JSN light, then maybe that leads to the running game opening up just as long as like the.
this new configuration of offensive linemen in this new blocking scheme are able to just get a little
bit better. I also think if defenses start waking up or not waking up, but grow fearful of
Don Tavian Wicks. If he continues producing at the level he has early on in a season on a consistent
basis, then as a defense, you're dealing with two potential, you know, very strong wide receivers
and Smith and Wix,
and that will really get you to play more shell
against this team.
Because, yeah, right now,
it was interesting, again,
going back to watching the past game,
Wix and Devante,
one of them is usually kind of benefiting
from some of the attention paid to the other.
And I do wonder if defenses start to fear that a little bit more,
especially, as you said,
if they do go a little bit more pass-heavy on early downs
because both of those receivers are just playing at such a high level.
All right, other side of the ball,
Are you worried about the Eagles defense at all?
It was kind of a blip of a down game against the Titans.
The defensive line has not been super impressive.
How do you feel about the group as a whole?
It's definitely, I would say they're not, they don't look bad.
Trust me, there's a lot of bad defense in the NFL right now.
They just don't look like a top three, four unit the way we expected.
But again, it's very early on.
And I think a lot of it does start with the defensive line.
I was surprised to see them get pushed around a little bit in the run game.
You know, I think you're just not generating enough pressure at the moment.
Obviously, Jonathan Grenard's not back.
But Carter, I think, has been kind of underwhelming in that regard to some degree.
But behind them, you know, I think the corners are playing well.
Cooper DeGine, I thought, bounced back a little bit after week one.
And my guy, Gihad Campbell.
That was excellent this last week against Tennessee.
You know, I'm always have a close eye on him.
This is yes, yes.
I thought it was really good in coverage, made a couple of really nice plays.
I thought the way he played the run, you felt like he, it just kind of, you kind of see it with young backers, you kind of see it start to click when they're starting to read run pass, when they're taking the right angles to get to the ball carrier.
And I thought he was really good too.
So, you know, I think not super alarmed.
I think, again, going into the Chicago game, Eagle.
obviously play with a lot of light boxes.
I don't think that's going to be an approach
against Case Keenham and their spares run game.
So it'll be, I'm not sure how much we're going to learn about him this week,
but I do think getting Grenard back will help a lot.
Yeah, and I mean, frankly, you wonder now
if the fact that it's likely to be Case Keenum means the Eagles
give Grinard one more week, if this is when they were expecting him to be back.
I'm not so sure how they'll play that.
What kind of, like, what do you think Ben Johnson is going to try to do
in this game where he's got to kind of try to hide his quarterback.
Chananigans.
Yeah.
I think you got to be ready for a lot of just tomfoolery.
Kind of come up with.
Taking a shirt off on the sideline to distract the defensive line.
No.
Just a lot of, I mean, there's absolutely going to be like a flea flicker,
some like, you know, reverses.
I think he's just going to do whatever, he's going to pull out all the,
all the stops.
And yeah, like he's still going to try to, you know,
I mean, he's definitely going to try to run the,
football a lot and even stacking the box, right?
Philadelphia will be challenged in that regard.
So, you know, I feel like just being mindful of trick plays, but also committing to stop
the run will probably be enough.
Big picture in the NFC, you know, it's been two weeks.
We don't want to overreact to what we've seen so far.
But do you feel any differently about like the scope of who the real contenders are in
the conference?
Nope.
Still feels like the NFC West.
which is I felt going into the season.
I think the North is absolutely very flawed teams in a free-for-all.
The South, you know, the Saints are fun story.
The Panthers' Office has been good, but those are all pretty.
The Bucks, I think, are one of the more disappointing teams in the NFL at the moment.
And then the East, obviously losing Jackson Dart sort of takes the Giants off of the board.
Maybe not obviously, obvious to me.
Dallas, you know, the defense looking so awful.
looked a bit better week two.
But, you know, obviously most of that game was not against Jane Daniels, so I'm not
convinced on them.
They also, Dallas, the offensive line has had some issues.
They're not running the football particularly well right now either.
So I think Philadelphia, you still feel good about the division, but those three teams in
the NFC West just look like not just the best teams in the NFC, but like amongst, you know,
the best top five in football.
Yeah.
I mean, I think you probably hope that they beat each other up.
The Eagles are able to, I mean, they're able to get the Bears without Caleb Williams.
Maybe they get, you know, they'll get the Rams without Miles Garrett the following week.
We'll see how that goes.
But, yeah, you rack up wins and hope that the seating matters and we'll see what happens.
Last one is just on Devante.
And like the kinds of things that he does, the sideline balletics and his ability to just sort of bend air and space.
and time? Like, how fun is he to watch for you
relative to the rest of the league?
Every time he has a big player or a big game,
there's a guy on
his draft, which is what,
2020, 23, 22,
21.
21.
21, why he's been in the league, right?
Um, that contrary looks great.
Uh,
where I said, does Devante Smith have a single weakness other than being my size?
And,
I think my pants size is what I said.
Okay.
And every week when he reposts it,
I, I watch him and I feel,
Like, it just has borne out in ways beyond even my imagination as much as I liked him.
I just think.
And the legs have not grown.
I see the same size.
The route running is always just so fun to watch on tape.
You know, this series or this game, obviously the two toe tappers on the game winning.
It's so funny.
I posted one of them because obviously the final one was incredible throw by Hertz, incredible play.
but it was just like a six-yard completion on the second and one.
But he fully does like the Houdini.
Yes.
To do that twice on a single drive is insane.
And it's so commonplace for him.
It's like nothing.
I don't think people.
And Wicks on that drive too, man.
Again, the great throw by Hertz.
But like he gets up and climbs ladder.
And he really looks like at times in Green Bay.
there were games where you'd watch him,
and you're like, this dude has it all,
Dentavian Wicks.
Like, he can, if he just puts it together,
and then I would post something like,
man, Dutavia Wix,
and then the next week he'd have like five drops or something like that you're rating.
But it was just never consistent.
And I think that's what I'm hoping to see in Philadelphia.
But right now,
those two receivers,
you're,
I'm,
you know,
it's not A.J.
Devante level yet,
but you feel pretty damn good about your receiver group.
I mean, your first round pick,
can't even get targets.
I know.
But I think you feel way better than you expect it to feel this early.
Totally.
It's so funny.
I said this on live on Monday.
After all of the offseason talk about whether the Eagles would miss A.J. Brown,
you watched them early on.
They miss Jason Kelsey.
Like, it's not, like, I'm not watching the Eagles at all.
I'm thinking, wow, if A.J. Brown was there, this would be different.
Well, and it also, we've talked about this as well.
But if Howie knew in April that Dantavianwix was going to look
this good right away.
Yeah.
I think their early draft is different.
They're probably not drafting Lemon and Stowers.
And maybe that's offensive line help.
Maybe it's a tight end who can actually block.
It's a little bit different.
And all of a sudden,
the roster looks much different.
My goat wash.
No, I'm just kidding.
He's still great.
Yeah.
Well, hey,
speaking of how we,
we didn't even talk about it.
Tariq Wollin's been freaking phenomenal.
What's that?
What's that?
Oh, he's been great.
I've been great.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's been fantastic.
But yeah, no, listen, Howie, we're allowed to criticize Howie.
He can be the best general manager in football and be fallible.
He ignored the tight end position.
All I did was bring in Johnny Montas a band-aid and they can't block.
Yeah, right now and with the Goddard injury, that's concerning.
Plus, as we all know, I mean, I mean, Capeniga Shicken is making plays on Sunday night football for the cults.
And they waved him.
They got an open roster spot.
Come on.
Is he Japanese that literally, I was watching, do you know, do you have any inside info?
I think that he is...
I don't want to...
I think that he is Asian American on one side.
Okay.
I will investigate the situation.
I'm going to see if I can get to the bottom of it very quickly.
We have a golden Asian safety, so no.
That's true.
I take another one.
And did you see, by the way, do you see the cash that Devante made that was not a catch in the end zone?
That was amazing.
It's ridiculous.
I'm trying to get to the bottom of the gush here.
Yeah, report back if, yeah.
Native Hawaiian and Japanese ancestry.
There you go.
Safety play has not been the best.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, there you go.
All right.
Thank you so much, Mina.
We look forward to seeing you cover the game on Monday.
Eagles Bears, and we'll see in two weeks.
Thank you so much.
Can't wait.

the guy's going to be living on cloud nine.
Yeah, but he said he was sick.
hope he's feeling all right.
Hope he's made it.
That's going to bring him back to life.
Got to hydrate.
I mean, he's doing good.
I'm sure he's on cloud nine, but yeah.
Gushy, gushy, gushy, gozy,
don't like that.
You want to, let me get through,
let me buzz through some more.
I do want to talk about the last Vic thing,
which is, I heard tell a little bit of this,
but sounds to me like a very fun Vic press conference moment.
Yeah.
So I know that Kenny Moore, like, obviously has a lot of, like, name recognition.
He's been a good player in the league.
But I do think it's probably good to set expectations.
And Vic Fangio did that today.
He said, when asked about, like, the role, do they envision him more as a nickel corner or a safety?
He said, I'm not sure yet.
I've never laid eyes on him.
I've never watched him play.
So we'll see.
How could that be?
There's no way that he's never watched it.
The first question was about...
That is so pointed by Vic, that is so intentional.
that's very funny.
Yeah, I think he probably, it probably is a little bit like everybody pumped the brakes.
Like you're asking me questions about Kenny Moore.
Like he's still a pro bowl nickel corner.
He said that there is no plan for Cooper to Gene to move to safety.
So maybe it was like the tenor of the press conference where he was like, guys, I haven't, I've literally never watched that.
I mean, he says he's, I read it more as like, how we didn't even consult him when he signed this guy.
Yeah.
It was funny.
The first question about Kenny Moore, Vic said, I'm not sure that that's official yet.
So, you know, you have to ask Alley on that one.
So, okay.
Yeah, I don't know.
That's funny.
Vic really no sold Kenny Moore today.
Never watched him play.
Kenny less.
Kenny less likely to start than Michael Carter right now, I would say.
I would say so.
He did say we'll see more of Michael Carter.
I don't know what to make of that.
Team movie Saturday night.
I actually don't understand that.
Coach Carter?
Oh, is it?
I don't think his name is Mike.
I don't know.
I love Coach Carter, though.
I know what?
They're not all home runs.
Okay.
It's fine.
I just sometimes you say, sometimes you say something.
funny and it just goes over my head because, you know, I'm not the most well-rounded on pop
culture. But Coach Carter, love that movie. So I, so I hit 950 instead of a thousand. Definitely
950. Definitely 9. With the slugging percentage into 3,000s. It's okay. Yeah, we know you got,
you put up numbers. All right. Let's talk. Let's talk Mannion. There's only one thing from
Manion that I think we really need to get into. There's some other things, but I want to start with him
talking about the first down struggles. Okay. And I actually,
actually asked Lindsay to pull a clip on this for a question I asked.
And I actually am not even, it's not even a flex because I made a mistake in the question.
But I still think his answer is very noteworthy.
So let's run the clip.
There's lines, there's a stat out there that you're the only team in the NFL that hasn't
gotten a first down on first down.
I guess do you feel you've been aggressive enough on early downs?
And how much is that a factor in addition to try and stay on schedule?
Yeah, there's multiple factors.
Obviously, you want to be as explosive as possible.
But you're going against the defense too.
And sometimes they're doing things that try to negate those explosive plays.
You know, I thought a good example of it was, I think it was a second or third series in the game.
We called a shot play, and Jailen did a great job checking it down, and second and two.
So, you know, everyone seeks to be an explosive offense, and we're certainly no exception.
But ultimately, you just need crisp execution and how the defense is playing.
You may change where you need to go with the football, you know, what the run game might look like.
So there's multiple variables there.
And again, I think the biggest takeaway for me that was positive from our week two game was our ability to stay on schedule.
Maybe it wasn't the explosive game, but it was the positive gain that allowed for us to stay manageable on third down and marry the running pass throughout the game.
But, yeah, I think that was the big thing I took away from the game.
Huh.
Yeah.
I was hoping that you had a better read on it than I did.
because I know
the end the
beginning of saying like
well they're you know
we're going against a defense too
and you know they're going to try to take that away from it's like
that's every team that is going to have that that experience
yeah and listen he's you know
it's a press conference
sure he's not necessarily truth telling but
the idea that like what one
the thing that he was most happy about from last game
was that they were able to stay on schedule i find to be
pretty confounding i mean the yeah
it was successful because they were
good on third down
to a completely unsustainable degree.
Like we talked about, you know,
Jalen's first down passes on third and five plus
were the most in the NFL in the past three years.
Yeah.
And a career high for him.
Like, that's not going to keep happening
if you're in third and eight all the time.
And it's true that they were not,
they didn't have as many negative runs as week one,
but they still had a bunch of unsuccessful short runs.
Right.
On first and second down.
So, I mean, they're allowed to grow into the season here,
but I thought it was interesting that Mina brought up
the point about the Packers fans.
complaining about that being the LaFleur style run, run pass,
because I have from the outside read this as,
okay, they're playing the way that Nick wants to play.
Maybe that's, maybe this is the way that Mani wants to play.
I think he is smart enough that they're going to try to figure this out.
Yeah, I just found it very interesting that my question was about
like being more aggressive on first down and he really just went right back to staying on schedule.
And my guess is why the reason that LaFleur likes this,
the reason that Sean Mangon seems to like this is I think a lot more of the play sheet is available to you
when you're in like a neutral second down situation and they just have they have been in in that situation
so few times in the first two weeks.
Although I did.
Because there's a part of the Deshawn documentary that relates to a play sheet that is very,
very funny.
Oh yeah?
Okay.
That's a good tease.
I did want to, I did look and they are 26th in neutral pass rate right now in the NFL,
which again, it's like that's usually a sign you're not very aggressive even when you have those
second and manageable situation.
So something to keep an eye on.
Did Mannion say anything about Ertz?
He did.
He said he's a very comfortable pass catcher.
He's had a really strong track record in that area.
When you look at the tight end group in particular,
it's about the composite of everyone's skill sets together,
which I found as an interesting note about how you've used a position.
Or like the compost, am I right?
It's what makes that position specifically unique.
Back, baby.
Another one.
It's what makes that position specifically unique is that you have complimentary skill sets
will use this week to evaluate and see what Zach's role looks like.
like. Okay.
Yeah.
Basically, he's going to replace the past catching element that Dallas got it brought to the table.
Okay.
Yeah.
Then you also had a Michael Clay note, I believe.
Yeah.
Michael Clay and Sean Mannion both mentioned that they played Zachertz in high school sports.
Really?
Isn't that a fun note?
That is fun.
Yeah, Michael Clay said he played Zacherts in basketball, obviously both California high school kids.
Okay.
And Sean Mannion said he played against Zacherts' football team.
That's fun.
It's got to make you feel old if you're Zacherts.
Like two of the quarter of the quarter.
He already feels old.
Yeah.
There's no getting around that.
But it's like a real reminder.
It's like, oh, yeah, I played you in high school.
Yeah, but that's him.
That's him.
Mogging them.
Sure.
Yeah.
Right.
You guys are coaching and I'm still playing.
That's a good point.
But it also shows you like how long Zackertz has played.
These guys have finished their playing careers and become coordinators in the NFL on a successful
team, no less.
Like, you know, shows you these guys have been out the game for a while.
I didn't have what it took to stick around.
Zachert probably mocks people a lot.
I would imagine.
Good looking guy, tall, married to like a superstar.
Good for him.
Yeah, we should tell him about the mural.
You should.
Okay.
A couple super chats to get to before we get to MJ on the other side.
Tim Bergoin says, I've heard in Sean's pressers that he differentiates some plays failing due to fundamentals versus execution.
And you speak to the differences there.
I cannot.
I have also noticed that.
he talked about the screen game.
He said, I think we're close on a few of them.
There's some fundamental things that will clean up a little bit.
But he then went on to say, like, they're going to be a part of what they do going forward.
And so the screen game's not going anywhere.
But that's a good note by you, Tim Bergoine, because I noticed the same thing.
He says some of them were fundamentals, some of them were execution.
Okay.
Maybe fundamentals is like how they drew it up.
Yeah.
Like, we need to adjust the alignment somewhere.
like it's a play calling or a play design thing.
Maybe that.
Dink!
Oh.
The Super Chan says,
Bo out here doing the Lord's work,
putting the gush on Mina's radar.
The gush.
Hope you feel better, Dink.
Hope you feeling good.
Me too.
All right.

At Wawa, that's my Wawa.
Eagles hired a consultant for the offensive staff.
came from Green Bay with Mannion and Mahefee.
His name was Ray, and he told them,
Hey, guys, I know we need tight ends to block,
but I remember Johnny Munt from Minnesota.
He's all we need.
We don't need a single other guy.
In fact, we should draft someone who can.
I think that's something we should do.
We're going to be good on offense.
You listen to Ray, and here we are.
They said, you're shady, but you know ball.
That's not the shady Ray we're talking about.
No, we're talking about Shady Ray's the sunglasses company
that has your back more than any other.
company and eyewear. If you lose your sunglasses, if you break your sunglasses,
if EJ steals your sunglasses right in front of your face, guess what?
Shady Race can replace them. No big deal. Don't have to worry about it. Shady Race is

thrown right into a shady raise read what an intro how you doing mj it's it going i'm doing great i'm
doing great how y'all are doing very well i said did you see mj got the sit down exclusive with
colin caper i did he had some great questions on that too yeah yeah that's it i appreciate it everybody
checked that out pleasure it was a pleasure it was a pleasure shout out cap shout out cap uh and shout
out pops too he uh you know he came to my church uh calling capper nick and my dad was like i'm a father could you
look out for my son. He's a journalist.
He's not a 49ers fan. He's Eagles fan.
He'll help him out real quick. And, you know, Kaepernick was gracious enough to do that.
So that was great.
That's awesome. That's great. Everybody check that out on your YouTube channel.
MJ, let's get a little midweek check-in on how you're feeling about this two-and-o Eagles team.
I know you put out a lot of Jalen Hertz content.
How are we feeling about Jalen the way that he looks through two weeks?
Jalen has been amazing.
and all the questions about can he run the Sean Mannion scheme and a lot of fans they've been saying for years like myself we know he can do it it's all about getting the right coordinator and Sean Manian he looks the part and seeing the motions and the shifts and seeing that final drive of Devante and hurts like that connection and fans remember their first game in Atlanta 2021 heck I was there with my
friends we all came there and devonce smith the egos they traded up to get him so seeing that moment
between them especially at the end of the titans game and clutch time you know it's it's what fans
wanted the whole entire offseason to see devon say take that next step uh but also hers just involving
all the wide receivers dontavian wicks is blossomed darius kubber gaining his time to shine uh multiple
multiple receivers even johnny munt ting bigs we worship be like everybody's getting the
some love. So seeing the ball be spread around and hurts play free. That's something I'm loving. And
Eagles fans have been telling the NFL community, this is our hurts. We told Joe was going to play
this season. Yeah. I mean, E.J., the absence of AJ, which I think, you know, it's, it's silly to say
that they're better off without AJ. Obviously, he's too good of a player for that to probably be true.
but you do hear coming from people connected to Jalen a little bit
that there is a little bit less drama in the room.
The ball can find who the ball should go to.
Yeah.
And you can sort of understand that.
Yeah, absolutely.
I think that there is less, maybe less baggage in the way that the Eagles
call the game and the way that Jalen has to manage the game.
And he's alluded to this.
And I think the other element to this that is definitely on my radar is
the motivation side of, you know,
something we talked about in the off season.
AJ's bet that Jalen could not get him the numbers that he needed to have the legacy he wants in the game.
I do think that Jalen has used that as motivation.
You know, Sean Mannion talked today about the fact that Jalen is the last guy out on the field,
working on his footwork, working on his fundamentals in this system.
I think the comfortability that he has in this system is rooted in that.
And I think there is an element of that it's like motivation to prove that he can run a prolific offense
and a prolific passing game in particular.
All right.
I think it's personal for Jalen Harris.
personal because not only is it about a guy who is his former teammate that they had great moments
together, great highs together, but at the end of the day, you felt like you were your best
self somewhere else and with Drake May. And a lot of Eagles fans on the other side are like
you chose Drake May over Jaylon Hertz. And a lot of NFL fans, they thought like Jaylon Hertz is
going to have this dip. So we're looking at this like we're seeing this guy blossom. The
Eagles continuously win games.
Siriani hurts, you know, winning the opener of the season, winning the road opener,
like 6 and 0 in both categories.
So it's not like it's stopping there with AJ leaving or whatever, the different OCs,
first time OC, they're still winning.
So, you know, we're happy.
But there's also several weaknesses on the team as well.
Well, let's talk about that.
Where do you feel like the weaknesses are on the team at the moment?
Well, definitely offensive line interior.
And there's been several guys shifted to different positions.
Obviously, Land Dickerson on IR and you're seeing Drew Kendall come in at center, but they shift
Cam Jergins to left guard.
And I'll check myself real quick.
And I think some fans, we overreacted in the Titans game when I was like, all right, Cam Jergens,
he was bad.
He was bad.
But at the same token, he's going up.
against Jeffrey Simmons.
And so if you're going to have a guy out there and say, shoot, let's see what you can do.
Let's see what he does against somebody who's not the top two defensive tackle in the game.
So I'll give Cam Jergens that grace.
But I'm interested to see just with how do they keep Cam Jergens at left guard for the rest of the season?
Is Land Dickerson coming back?
Will he be healthy?
What about Willie Lampkin?
Like, that's somebody preseasoned.
I mean, he was popping off the tape.
So a lot of fans too are like, shoot, if the interior line isn't as good, let's put in Willie
Lampkin.
Let's see what he can do.
So that's something right there defensively.
I would like to see more from Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter.
Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis.
They both got paid this offseason.
And I'm going to have something to say about fans that have.
Put some pressure on Jahad Campbell because I think Nekobie Dean, he's balling, he's going crazy.
But I think it's wrong to have more pressure on Jahad Campbell, a second year player,
second game of the season over Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter,
they've shown flashes, but we're still waiting to see them both have a complete game from start to finish.
So I'm looking at the D line to improve.
I love what Moro Jomo has been doing, but the defensive line,
definitely has to improve.
I think that's fair.
I think that's good context on jihad.
I mean, we talked about it last year.
Like, they sort of robbed him of those rookie reps.
These are now sort of rookie reps for him.
And I think it's okay to have a little bit of patience with him.
Yeah, he still feels a little bit like a rookie at times.
But I was going to ask you, Miles, like, what's the thing that keeps you up at night as an Eagles fan?
Like, is there something among those things you discuss that if you point to and just go like, yeah, they have to figure this out if they're going to do what everybody wants them to do.
well if the offensive line is not going to be as good as years past and i definitely think we miss
jeff stoutland i think chris cooper he's he's done well but i think if the offensive line
isn't as good as years past you need more from your wide receiver core and they have a deep
wide receiver core i need to see mackay lemon get some touches in this offense i need to see
macaille lemon blossom in this offense that's something that when i'm in
in my bed at night. I'm looking up. I know several Eagles fans, they're like, we trade it up for
this guy. It's a viral video where the Eagles traded up from the Steelers and they thought they were
getting McCoy Lemon. We got Mikey Lemon, the Blenticoff winner. We want to see him ball out. And the
talent is there. And we've seen some flashes, even times where he's been open, but you, Gouse Goddard,
he's opening the ends on you. Get that touchdown. So I think by October, I've really, really,
want to see macaille lemon have 50 yard game 70 yard game get a touchdown or two like see some
flashes because if macaille lemon is producing and you have devonte smith and you have dontavian wicks
who is looking like he's by to have a breakout year and darius cooper can be a guy like let's not
sleep on darius cooper but if you have darius cooper and macaille em both bawling i'm not really worried about
all right, the battle between them.
I'm looking at they're just going to make the wide receiver core more deep and just better as a whole.
Last one for me, MJ, is of the two new guys signed to the practice squad this week,
Zachertz and Kenny Moore, who are you most excited about?
Definitely Zachertz.
I think he'll play day one.
They have him on the practice squad.
We all know he's playing and we need him.
Now, Zacherts has extensive experiences in different offenses.
obviously with the Eagles, different systems,
but also with the commanders
and playing with the rookie Jay and Dames
and helping him grow,
helping him blossom as a quarterback.
I'm looking at this.
If Jaden Daniels can be highly effective with Zach Gertz,
imagine what Jalen Hertz is going to do.
And I know a bunch of fans are super excited to see
that connection between Ertz and Hertz.
But it's also interesting because, you know,
Goddor was drafted.
And he essentially took Zachard's spot.
Now it's like, could they be playing together?
Maybe 12 person knows.
I was interested to see about that.
And, you know, Kenny Moore, I see it more as a debt piece.
And if Marcus Epps, you know, continues to not play as well and play under expectations,
then I could see a Kenny Moore come in.
And Vic Van der just has the best guys available out there.
So definitely more excited about Zach Gertz.
But I think Kenny Moore is a guy that you just think about and pay attention
to because if Marcus Epps or you have some injuries,
Macuba in the secondary, you might see him get on the field.
All right.
Good stuff, MJ.
We will see you for the postgame show on Monday.
Eagles Bears.
We'll look forward to it.
Thank you so much.
Thanks, MJ.
Yes, sir.
Thank you.
All right.
Check out Real talk with MJ.
Is we prepared?
Oh, we're like a minute away from...
MJ time.
Somebody said
Mina time
Was there a pun in there
Or something like that
Anyway
Puns aren't either of our strengths
Oh dear
I don't usually look right at the camera
When I make a joke
But it felt right
What do you think Ertz does on Monday night
I definitely think he plays
Like stat line
Yeah
Five catches
Nine for 200
I'm going to say like five catches for like 42 yards.
A little underneath game.
That's what I would guess.
Yeah, okay.
I think he's going to be involved.
I think it kind of has to be.
Over kimes.
Over kimes.
Shout out court jester.
That's what about it.
Now that's a real court jester right there.
That's right.
Those are the puns that we lack on this show.
I don't dare you.
We're still not there.
We're like,
Join us in over games.
Wait, what did Matt H say?
Fran says really good, Matt H.
Oh, I'll find it.
I'll find it.
Oh, he said overcomes, but yeah,
he said he couldn't take credit for it.
Come on, Fran.
You got to credit the right person.
I told Fran, it's the international break for soccer.
And I, the soccer plays a role in my life that is important,
which is it's a sport that I can, like, consume a lot of
and try to understand.
that has nothing to do with the Eagles.
And now I've got this void.
So I asked him for some, like, recommendations,
like what team should I watch, college or pro,
that have nothing to do with the Eagles
that I can just enjoy just like watching, like, you know, something cool.
And?
I don't know if he wants me to share.
It's the only thing.
Why would that be between the two of you?
I don't know.
I don't like to air out my text message.
I air out my side of it.
I'm sure.
I cannot possibly envision.
He won't care, right?
Anything that would make...
this be bad for him.
He said the Ravens offense is really fun to watch.
Oh, you meant,
and I thought you were talking about college teams.
It could have been college too,
but,
yeah,
he said the Ravens offense is doing some cool stuff.
I don't think he minds that.
Oh, my God,
I can't believe you aired that out.
He said I can share.
I got credit.
I got,
I got permission.
As a reporter,
you can't just be telling you can be putting stuff out there.
His offense.
Yeah.
Double D.
The deck man,
the deck man.
If we had the deck man and the dink man,
double dog Declan.
Yes, I was pleasantly surprised this morning on the spelling bee that glizzy was a possibility, but not accepted, unfortunately.
So Drew Brees, not working at the New York Times.
Oh, yeah, you did send that to me.
Oh, wait, now I can't remember what it was.
I still can't get over that.
Two naked dogs.
What did you send me on the thing this morning?
That's what I sent you.
It was glizzy?
Yeah.
I'm sorry.
Clearly, I wasn't listening to music when I was a baby.
I don't have a great recall.
That must be it.
What else would it be?
I didn't do anything unsavory in high school or college to mess with my memory if you pick up what I'm putting down.
Question X says you should play online ticket to ride.
This is very interesting because we are in the middle of a ticket to ride game in the house right now.
Leave it up.
But then our babysitter was saying she does online tickets.
right. I didn't know it was a thing
either. Now listen, the one thing about
my in-laws, they love some ticket to ride now.
I love tickets to ride, too. We have multiple
versions of it in our house.
Online, that's a game changer right there.
Like a TTR?
Yeah. I don't like a lot of board games, but
I like a trip to ride.
Let's see if you really know ball.
Honestly, I haven't played it in a while, so I couldn't
tell you what my strategy is, front of mind.
I'm good at the game, though. I win a lot.
Let me know when you're ready for a real game
We'll play online
That sounds fun
Okay
What's your strategy
Well I'm not telling you now
Well no you asked me
So it's only fair I know that you
Test and share
What's your strategy
Don't see if you really know ball
Win the game
We won the game
Low Man wins
I don't think that's how tickets
The ride works
I don't think
I like a carcassone
What's the game
With the birds
that has like the little pieces.
Wingspan.
Wingspan, isn't it?
Oh, I don't know that.
I can't play it.
I can't do the little pieces.
I'm weird like that.
If anybody else is weird like that,
they need to let me know.
Is it just a me thing?
I'm weird like that.
No, I am.
I'm just weird about like little pieces
like that in a board game.
I think it's like a fear of like choking hazards.
I keep those things off me.
I do.
I don't like, I don't like tax.
Like, you know, the things you play within your kids
or marbles.
I can't do those things.
I think it's because they're choking hazards.
I think it's like a healthy fear.
You think that's why?
I've always, even when I was a kid.
That's not the rings.
No, it kind of is like the same thing.
Like small things you could choke on.
For some reason, I've always been kind of weird about those things.
Maybe there's somebody else out there that's like me.
Alex says he was watching on TV and logged into the app just to say that we need to play
a ticket to ride legacy.
Legacy.
One of my top five life experiences allowed me to connect with my mom in my 20s over
12 sessions.
Wow.
Wow.
I don't even know what this is.
The legacy version of ticket to ride?
Like the OG ticket to ride?
I don't know.
I got some tickets to ride research to do.
Nate Tice is going to be disappointed in us.
He's not going to be disappointed in me.
I'm winning the game.
Fran has a peck nice migraine for you.
Pekness migraine.
Rings, small game pieces, yellow cake.
Well, yellow cake is chocolate cake to me, so I'm definitely investing that.
His thing is you would have to call it yellow cake.
No, that's not what he's saying.
That is absolutely what he's saying.
He knows you like the cake.
He's saying you have to call it yellow cake.
I'll call it yellow cake for the sake of this exercise.
That's a tough one.
I wish I could just migrate rings and small game pieces.
I probably...
Do I have to wear a ring?
Is that what this is?
Yes, but you can wear it anywhere on your body.
Just have the show now, man.
I mean, I wore a wedding ring for like three months.
After we got married, now I just got the tattoo, which is a lot easier.
It doesn't bother me.
So you pecked it.
Yeah, I sold peck for the ring and then migrate the small game pieces.
Alex says, yeah, friend, we were correct.
Yeah.
I was correct.
Ticket to ride.
Legacy is ticket to ride over 12 sessions.
It has a story between sessions and in the map and the map expands each game.
takes place from the late 1800s to the early 1900s.
That's cool.
I like that.
That sounds very fun.
Grace, I do have a wedding ring.
It's just a tattoo.
So I don't have to wear a ring.
I mean, I'm a big wife guy.
As everyone knows.
Your wife's pregnant.
Everyone knows now.
So nobody can go near Eli Stowers.
He just called her big.
He said, I'm a big wife.
No, no.
Don't do Lindsay.
Lindsay.
She's pregnant, E.J.
I do not need those problems right now.
Actually, Julia is such a pleasant, pregnant wife.
Such a pregnant.
Why are you so surprised?
Why don't act so surprised at all?
I was just so, I was proud, effusive.
Actually, Julia's been pretty good.
Yeah, because I said I don't want those problems.
I do try to stay off the radar, but she's been great.
It's been awesome.
And you're leaving out.
You start the pot.
I'm not leaving anything out.
All right.
That's all we got.
for this episode of the PHAOYGO's podcast.
Back tomorrow.
Adam Johns is going to join us.
Give us a little insight into the guy right there.
