We are the gold standard of the NFL, Rich Hoffman. We are not Zach Berman and Bo Wolf. They are fresh off of the morning press conferences of Nick Siriani and Jalen Hertz. And they are currently 35,000 feet in the air on their way back to the Delaware Valley. So we have the honor of filling in today for them. But to all the sickos in the chat, what a day it is, Rich. What a day it is.
Starting point is 00:01:14 I'm looking at the chat right now in Philadelphia. said tired and hung over and Phil I am with you. It's uh you know, James, I was talking to my dad and he was in a wawa earlier today and he was like trying to judge the, uh, the emotion on people's faces. And he was like, you know, people looked happy, but more than anything, they looked exhausted. And it is a little bit of that combo now. Like I am so satisfied with that win. We're going to talk about this amazing football team. Uh, but man, I feel like I've been through the ringer. And it's funny because the football team did not actually put us through the ringer last night. No, it was as easy as Super Bowl games get.
Starting point is 00:01:49 It was unbelievable. That was an ass whoopin. As C.J. G.J. says, belts to asses. And we'll get into some of the stats about the last two games. But Rich, after that Rams game, it was really nice to put your feet up and just enjoy a thorough beatdown in an NFC championship game and a Super Bowl. That's rare. And it's kind of what led to our headline. our thumbnail here this morning of best Super Bowl team ever.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Now, certainly you can make the case that there's been better teams of destiny, of dynasties, of teams that have gone on longer runs. But when you put in and contextualize what they just did in an NFC championship game and who they just stopped in a Super Bowl, maybe the greatest coach ever, maybe the greatest quarterback ever. And the way they handled them, I think there's a strong case to make if you're just looking at single seasons of NFL football, that this team is right up there with anyone.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Well, not according to Aaron Schatz, who I think had them as the 77th best Super Bowl team, even though there's only been 59 Super Bowls. No, man, this was, this was unbelievable. I mean, they were completely dominant. James, the last game that they actually lost, not with Jalen Hertz getting hurt and Kenny Pickett having to play the entire game.
Starting point is 00:03:12 it was the last day of the Phillies regular season, man. It's so long ago to have four months of this, man, four months. Like we had the take back in October. I think probably around the Bengals game where it was like, ooh, this defense looks different than the Johnny Gans defense from a couple years ago. They just played Joe Burrow, who was an awesome quarterback. They kind of took his best punch and they outlasted him. They survived that game.
Starting point is 00:03:41 and it just continued through the Super Bowl, right? Where they are just completely dominant against Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. And I think that is one of my big takeaways, man, is that the Eagles, they are the dynasty D-throners. Like when they get to the Super Bowl, they don't just beat anybody. They beat Tom Brady and Bill Belichick and they beat Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. And that's like, that's the legacy of this team to me is that, yeah, we don't do it the same way as them, right? There's a little bit of chaos. There's a little bit of a roller coaster.
Starting point is 00:04:13 We have our down periods. We don't have the QB coach infrastructure that just fits out 12, 13 wins every season, although who knows? Maybe we get there at some point. But it hasn't been that case now. Although Jaylen and Nick, I mean, if you look at their record together, it is unbelievable. But we do it differently.
Starting point is 00:04:32 But when the Eagles get to those big games, they go toe to toe to with these guys. And they're just undeniable. You cannot talk. about the last 10 years, the last 15 years of NFL football, without mentioning the Philadelphia Eagles and what kind of a constant they have been at the top of the league. It is, it is so awesome. It's very Philly to just not have the like regular dynasty with the QB and the coach.
Starting point is 00:04:58 And, you know, they rattle off three in a row. But like Brady and Mahomes, they played in three consecutive Super Bowls at different times. And the only team to beat them both times is the Philadelphia. Eagles and that's awesome. That's so cool. It really is. And, you know, Sequin said it in the locker room last night to John Clark. He said, you know, maybe this is the start of our dynasty. And Rich, I'm not high on the win.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Okay, I'll lie. I'm high on the win. But I really feel as though three Super Bowls, two wins in eight years, you have Sequin for two more years. You have Lane Johnson. You have a young, thriving defense. You're already turning the page to next year. Again, you were doing this last night, too.
Starting point is 00:05:44 I can't help. I believe in this core. And part of it is Jalen Hertz. We talked about it last night, Rich. This guy shows up when the lights are brightest. This guy seems to play his best football. And I'm so happy that we don't have to spend an off season talking about Jalen Hertz and underperforming and losing the big one.
Starting point is 00:06:06 This city's psyche. Like part of what I was thinking about before the show today was. that went a long way yesterday to killing the pessimistic Philadelphia sports fan. Because if they lost that one and it was two and three years and you lost them homes twice and the Phillies lost and the Sixers are imploding and the Flyers have been irrelevant for a while, the pessimism would have risen to the top. It would have boiled over again. And that win, I don't want to say it changed more than the first one did, but it it almost saved us mentally.
Starting point is 00:06:40 I think the old Philadelphia hoagy mouth pessimism is dead. And we have Nick Siriani, Jalen Hertz, and that defense to thank for it. It's unbelievable, man. And I was so dreading having to do the three hour post game show. And then today's show, if they would have lost. And now we can just mumble about how amazing they are because they really just took that game from the start. It was so awesome. Yeah, man, like I'm speechless.
Starting point is 00:07:07 I cannot believe how easy they made it look. I think both of us were pretty optimistic going in. I think both of us predicted the same score, 34, 24. So we thought, you know, they were going to win kind of easy. Man, the score was 40 to 6 at one point. Like, that's ridiculous. And Mahomes, there's six points. Mahomes got away with one throwing one past the line of scrimmage.
Starting point is 00:07:28 And there was a clear, you know, penalty on another play. So like, I wanted to shut out. That would be great. Yeah. Did you see Xavier Worthy stat line? It looked incredible. It was like 126 yards, two touchdowns. I was like, man, that is the ultimate stat padded, you know, kind of box score there for old Xavier Worthy because they couldn't do anything all day.
Starting point is 00:07:48 We'll get into it. But to your dad's point about the town, I took my two girls. I didn't have the luxury of sleeping in this morning. I had to take them to school. And I saw a fellow dad friend at the first drop off. and he put down his window and he just started going like, whoo, in the school line to me. He was fired up.
Starting point is 00:08:10 And then I took my other daughter to school and the headmaster of the, you know, it's a preschool. She said, oh, man, every kid looks absolutely exhausted here this morning because I'm sure parents let the kids stay up a little late last night. So, yeah, your dad was spot on. It's a tired town, but it's a absolutely happy town. everybody's got their Eagles green on. And if you want to get some great merch,
Starting point is 00:08:34 we got it going on at the All-P-H-L-Y locker room. So go to All-P-H-L-Y. Dot com. There it is, the gold standard collection. I was rocking the World F-N champ shirt there, and I got a couple questions. Yeah, where did you? I wore it again this morning.
Starting point is 00:08:52 People were like, where'd you get that already? Where'd you get that? I was like, All-H-L-Y.com, of course. So check that out. But it is, there's nothing like this town, Rich, when they win, when anybody wins, but it's super special when it's an Eagles win. So let me shout out the sickos too,
Starting point is 00:09:08 because I thought about kind of, Bow and Zach are with you guys every day. We fill in when necessary, but we've been a part of this as well. And I was just thinking about, you know, how like a title run brings people together, James,
Starting point is 00:09:23 and doing this job, which is different from my old job, which was just reporting on the team. I covered the last Super Bowl. I was live in Minneapolis, but I wrote a story about the Philly special that night. I wrote an oral history about the Philly Special, and it was an amazing memory. But this was almost cooler because we saw people in the chat and people we have interacted with for over a year now, just enjoying it. And like, this isn't a guarantee, you know, when you put all of your time and your energy into a football team.
Starting point is 00:09:56 and I just felt so happy for the people who have been here just every day with us, rocking with us, helping us do our job. You know what was funny, James? The thing that stood out to me, it was the Draft Night Show. It was night two. I was doing it with Zach and Bo. And Bo was getting loopy. He had to go lay on the couch in the other room.
Starting point is 00:10:17 It was when the whole Zach, Zach, Zach, Zach thing started. He was breaking the news, Ledfoot Berman. He was driving to the facility afterwards. But I just remember, like, looking at the chat when Jalick's Hunt got drafted, we were on maybe our six of the show. It was crazy. Howie just kept trading back time. And again, it was like a bit. He was trying to keep us on the air as long as possible.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Dude, we had hundreds of people in the chat. And it was awesome. And to see all of those people rewarded for, you know, people who were there with us in April and even in the summer and earlier in the season, and it's awesome. And on top of that, Jalix Hunt, the guy who we thought was like the project of all projects, he's making plays in the Super Bowl, man. He was he was playing safety in the Ivy League two years ago. So, I mean, it just goes to show what an amazing team this is, what an amazing job,
Starting point is 00:11:13 how he has done with the team. And I would just say there's no fan base that deserves it more because people are just absolutely rabid here. Yeah, if you had told me that Jalick's Hunt was more of a contributor to this team than Bryce tough the key offseason signing. I would have told you you were absolutely bat-esque crazy. But there it was. The guy was making plays. You see the athleticism from them a lot out on the field. You can see why, you know, the Eagles fell in love with the potential of this kid. Truly, truly amazing off season. And Rich, it was said last night and it's been bouncing around my brain cage all morning. I forget who said it. Maybe it was you. Maybe it was Fran.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Howie Roseman is the best GM in sports because not many GMs and franchises are able to fail. I don't want to say as regularly because when you have a Carson Wentz kind of implode after getting that contract, what happened last year with Nick Siriani and the coaching staff, like they crumble at points and they rebuild like the freaking Phoenix coming out of the ashes. like nobody I've ever seen before. And I think that goes to, as AWOG says in the chat, Howie, Howie, Howie, he's the best GM in sports. I really feel confident saying that what he did this offseason, you know, with Cooper DeGine and Quignan Mitchell and Jailix Hunt and Zach Bonn,
Starting point is 00:12:45 it really is incredible. So let's get a little thumbs up here on the YouTube page for Howie Roseman, the best GM in sports. I think he's definitely the best GM in sports. The only one who I could think of who, you know, I try to follow all the sports who is similar. You know, I was thinking about like the Dodgers guys, but I was like, yeah, they kind of have a resource advantage.
Starting point is 00:13:09 The guy that I was thinking of is Sam Presti, the Oklahoma City under GM, but he hasn't won anything. Yeah, they haven't won anything. How he's won two. So I think he is unquestionably the best GM in North American pro sports. And look, James, the Eagle. this goes along with it, they might be the best run franchise in North American professional sports. If they are not, they are damn close. And, you know, we can talk about that. We can talk
Starting point is 00:13:32 about, is this the best team in Philadelphia history? Is Howie the best GM in Philadelphia history? I think a lot of the answers to those questions are yes, when you actually think about it. I mean, I think when we brought up, is this the best team in Philadelphia history? I thought because because because he's somebody who has been around. He's older. than us. I don't think that's a secret. He's been around. He's seen a lot more bad stuff. He's heard about a lot more good
Starting point is 00:14:00 stuff. And he right away was like, yep, best team I've ever seen. Yep. Yeah. I mean, it's, it really is for me. An embarrassment of riches. Not rich often. Rich is. No. I mean, just the skill they have. It's a perfect combination
Starting point is 00:14:18 of nailing three draft classes in a row, getting production from young guys and being able to afford luxury positions like Lane Johnson's and Jordan Maillotas and AJ Browns and Devante Smith. There's a stat I have in my notes
Starting point is 00:14:33 that we'll get into about the Eagles cap situation next year. Jalen Hertz, I believe, is the only guy. I'll have to find it off the top of my head. I read so much this morning. I've just been like free basing as much Eagles content as I can get here. I think Jalen Hertz is the only guy
Starting point is 00:14:49 with a north of $18 million cap hit next year. So like when you contextualize all of the moves and hitting on draft picks and the extensions, and yes, you got to bring back Zach Bonn and hopefully you don't lose a Milton Williams. It's really, really set up for a special run here from the birds. So it's really special stuff from Howie in that front office. Yeah. One other point I wanted to make because I did not make it on last night's podcast. the Jalen Carter sack of Matthew Stafford on third down,
Starting point is 00:15:21 that now goes down as one of the biggest place in Philadelphia sports history. Was that the face palm one? No, that was the interception. Oh, the Stafford. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. All right, right. Three weeks ago, Stafford in the snow against the Rams, one of the most important plays in Philadelphia sports history.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Very similar to the last Super Bowl, too, where the toughest game was the home divisional round game in the cold. had to make a defensive stand down by the goal line. And Jalen Carter won that game for them with that play. It was looking really bad. It was looking like, James, it's just like that would have been an all-time collapse if,
Starting point is 00:15:59 if Jalen Carter doesn't make that incredible play. Instead, we're talking about the dynasty because Jalen Carter did make that play. And he got to the quarterback on the next one to, to force the throw away. I just wanted to give him credit for that because I've been thinking like, man, They didn't make the margins thin the last two weeks.
Starting point is 00:16:19 They beat the absolute crap out of those two teams. But man, what a big play by him. Yeah, Siriani's buzz cut says, Jamie, thanks for apologizing for Siriani last night. I got that one wrong. And I will always try to hold myself accountable. Coming up on the other side, though, Rich, I watched a lot of TV this morning.
Starting point is 00:16:37 I watched a lot of national media pundits talking about the Eagles. And there's something that really chaps my ass about the way this game is being talked about already. We're going to take a quick break tell you about our friends here at PHLY, but on the other side, I'm going to tell you what's been bothering me all morning long. But let's tell you about... Starting point is 00:20:04 This is the P HLY Eagles podcast presented by our friends at Bet365 and Ace Hardware Home Services. To get started on your next project, visit Ace Hardwarehomeservices.com and use code. p h ly 365 when you sign up at bet three six five and find out why it's never ordinary at bet three six five all right so i i watch a lot of nfl network this morning rich i watch a lot of espn i rewatch some of our post game show and i got i got to be on bias here i think our coverage was the absolute best uh but the national pundits here's what's driving me nuts a lot of talk is about patrick mahomes i've never seen Patrick Mahomes play so poorly. I've never seen him look, uh, this bad. I've never seen nobody ever
Starting point is 00:20:55 tied it to the Eagles defense. It was like I stunned. Oh my God, I've never seen him play that bad. Yeah, he played that bad because the Eagles defense put him in absolute hell. Nobody tied the two together. It was just like, oh my God, Patrick Mahomes was human. I wonder why. Maybe it's because the defensive line was in his pockets all night. Maybe it's because the secondary had his receivers on lockdown. Maybe it's because Zach Bonn was in Travis Kelsey's grill all night. Maybe it's because he had nowhere to go. He played poorly because of the Eagles defense and nobody seemed to mention that. It was just like, oh my God, he played bad. Yeah, he played bad because of the Eagles defense. And it was driving me nuts all morning.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Totally agree. And I think what's nice about this Eagles win is we can get back to like normal football analysis where we just judge the team instead of just taking the resume of the coach and the quarterback, right? There are 22 players in the game. There are a bunch of subs. It's again, like the Eagles had the better team, James.
Starting point is 00:22:05 And, you know, I know that the 79th best Super Bowl team probably doesn't register to some of these people. But, no, I mean, the Eagles defense. I was saying it last night when we were watching the game together. I was like, yeah, Mahomes is playing poorly, but it's because the other 10 guys on the chiefs are getting dominated. Like there's nobody open.
Starting point is 00:22:26 I'll give you a perfect example. On the Cooper de Jean pick six, if you look at the back end of that play, Mahomes is trying to throw the ball to do. I can't even tell who it is. You know why I can't tell who it is? Quinion Mitchell is all over the guy. It would not have been a completed ball if Cooper doesn't step in front of that play. and it was the story of last night's game where the defensive line was wreaking havoc
Starting point is 00:22:49 they were getting to the quarterback they did not have to blitz at all to have like a 50% pressure rate when the game was close just insane stuff but the coverage was so sticky on the back end and it seemed like the Eagles didn't do anything tricky they just played their their normal cover four with their with their zone match rules and they just did it better than the chiefs no again it was funny that you know people
Starting point is 00:23:13 are dumping on Mahomes today. And that's fine. There's a little bit of Chodden Freud when the when the chiefs finally lose. I understand that to an extent. But the reason he played poorly is that the other guys were getting their butts whipped by the Eagles. And the Eagles didn't blitz once. Conan in the chat just said that. They didn't blitz once. Steve Spagnolo, you know, was blitzing left and right because they knew they needed to because the Eagles offensive line is great. The Eagles, just said, yeah, we'll beat you with our four. And they did it all night long. Fran Duffy tweeted out an image earlier, some film. And it was Nolan Smith. Nolan Smith is going to
Starting point is 00:23:56 continue to get better. I think this kid has just scratched his surface. But it was a play, and it was a run play from the Chiefs. I believe they had seven rushes, the Chiefs, if I'm not mistaken off the top of my head, for like maybe 19 yards or something. They just shut the run game down and then they were in you know my home's face all game long but it was nolan smith and it was a run play and a guard was pulling on the play uh and nolan smith just laid a shoulder into him and the dude went into another universe and it ended up being like a one yard loss on the play the defensive line last night just absolutely ate the chiefs alive uh it was really really cool stuff the more and more of these film grinders like Fran and other and other people are putting stuff out, the more you just
Starting point is 00:24:44 see how dominant that defense was last night. I didn't see the, the Fran video, but it's reminiscent of how these playoffs started with Nolan Smith jacking up Elton Jenkins on that first play against the, against the Packers. And it was a clean hit, but the guy was out of the game because Nolan Smith, who was an undersized player, was playing so physical and just nailed him. And, you know, it's funny in the, in the, like the behind the, scenes videos that the Eagles put out, Jamie. Siriani showed that first hit against the Packers the next week and was like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:25:15 this is what we're looking for, physical play. And it was kind of funny because they were almost like celebrating an injury, which was like kind of funny, but it was a clean hit. It was like a clean hit. And it was like setting the tone. And that's what the Eagles did last night. And I'm really happy to like that chief's team was not that good. No.
Starting point is 00:25:33 That Chief's team was not that good. And the national narrative on them that the AFC was good. The AFC was not that good. not that good. I think Buffalo and Baltimore were probably better. But they would have gotten smashed by the Eagles too. Like maybe they would not have gotten smashed to the same extent that the Eagles, but the Eagles are beating both of those teams.
Starting point is 00:25:52 You know who I know that, James? They played Baltimore in Baltimore and they killed them. They killed them. They dominated that game. Again, the AFC, they had good quarterbacks at the top of the league. Like they had some of the best QBs in the league. But the sport is about more than the quarterback, man. and those rosters, they didn't add up.
Starting point is 00:26:11 Like when Mac Collins is making plays over the Chiefs and the AFC championship game, that might have been a sign that, hey, when DeVante Smith gets his one-on-ones against these guys, he might do some damage against them. Oh, did you see the screenshot on the Devante touchdown? It is A.J. Brown. So, DeVante's shrieking, he's at like the 10.
Starting point is 00:26:29 He's got like two steps on his guy. A.J. Brown is back at like maybe the 25, and he has his hands up like touchdown before the ball is even thrown. He just knew that was going to end up in six points. And by the way, an incredibly awesome ball toss from Devante to the ref. I've rewatched that play like 10 times now. And Devante just like throws it up in the air and a very cool moment for him because he lost the state championship game on that same field.
Starting point is 00:26:58 Now he gets to hold a Super Bowl trophy on that field. What a play that was. That was the moment like you knew it was over. I kind of felt pretty good about it. after the Cooper de Gene picked six, but that Devonte play was special. In retrospect, it was over, honestly, the first couple drives when you saw, you know, how they were getting to Mahomes and Mahomes wasn't converting those third downs because he had nobody to throw to.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Now, we didn't feel that way in the moment, me especially, I didn't feel that way in the moment because I wasn't satisfied until the fourth quarter. One other cool thing about Devante, I thought it was notable that both he and A.J. Brown, both after the NFC championship game and after the Super Bowl, and after the Super Bowl, they were the guys who did the Gatorade Bath for Nick Siriani. It's clear that both of those guys really like Nick Siriani. I don't know if it's just that Nick is a wide receivers guy. Maybe he's spending more time in the wide receivers room than any other room.
Starting point is 00:27:53 I mean, I know AJ, he really likes Nick. Nick had AJ's high school jersey. Yeah, I was going to say, Nick for the day after. Starkville. But I think that's, I mean, I think back to last year after the Seattle game, and Nick kind of falls on the sword for Jalen and AJ freelancing and that late interception. And then AJ comes back and defense him a few weeks later and saying like, no, that was our fault.
Starting point is 00:28:16 And he kind of fell on the sword from us. Anyway, I thought that was a cool moment to fast forward that and see that those guys like, like AJ Brown really loves playing for Nick Siriani. Same thing with Devante Smith. It was pretty cool. Yeah, very cool stuff. Now, Jason Stark is one of my favorite people ever in sports media because he puts things
Starting point is 00:28:34 in terms of historical context as well as anyone. And this little blue sky from Jason Stark found its way on my timeline today. Here you go. Teams that have won the Super Bowl and conference championship game by 18 plus points in the same NFL postseason. And when we say, is this one of the best Super Bowl teams ever? Something like this backs it up.
Starting point is 00:28:59 There's four teams in the history of the NFL that have won both of those games by 18 plus points. The 1984 49ers, the 1985 bears, which a lot of people say is the best defense ever, the 1989 49ers, and the 2024 Philadelphia Eagles, something that has not been done, Rich,
Starting point is 00:29:24 in almost three decades in the NFL, that Eagles team went out and did. And it was really good for our anxiety levels that they did it in this fashion. But that is how dominant and how special what that team just did. I mean, it felt like a 1980s Super Bowl, Jamie. Yeah, running a defense. Sometimes I go back and look at the footage.
Starting point is 00:29:46 Like, you would see those, you'd see that Bears team, for example, and you'd see the fridge running in at the end of the game. And, you know, it was criminal that they didn't give the ball to Walter Payton there. But, you know, the fridge, they're just laughing because they're giving it to their defensive linemen and they're destroying the Patriots. And I'm thinking like, man, Super Bowls are much more stressful nowadays. I'm just banking on these two, these two last Eagles Super Bowls before this one. I'm just like, man, that was a stressful, awesome game for everybody to watch.
Starting point is 00:30:13 This Eagles team gave America a 1980 Super Bowl. And yeah, the rest of America didn't like it, but everybody in Philadelphia will have that replaying for the rest of their lives. So it was awesome. Yeah, pretty special stuff. I wonder how much the interest was there. It was kind of weird to be the team that America sees. to be pulling for because, you know, as you saw Kermit the Frog get lit on fire on Broad Street last night, I think there is Chief's fatigue going around with Patrick Mahomes.
Starting point is 00:30:42 There was a great tweet I just saw a little bit ago. It was Travis Kelsey wearing like a ridiculous suit heading into the game. And it was like, imagine having to put this suit back on after getting your ass handed to you like that. He did. There was another tweet of him walking out. And he did or did not? No, he did. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Oh, God, that's got to be tough. But it was awesome, awesome stuff last night. Let's take another quick break here to tell you about our friends, and we'll be right back. Starting point is 00:34:27 and Nick Siriani, I hope he really enjoys this because he is in rare company and air in NFL history now through his first four years. But my man's been through the record. He's been through the ringer. You know, like this is a guy that people wanted fired last year. And he's now a Super Bowl champion. But like his first four years, Rich,
Starting point is 00:34:51 it's really incredible where he stands. Yeah, I mean, you should rattle off some of the stats, man. Here we go. All right. Nick Siriani is the third NFL head coach to make multiple Super Bowl appearances, including winning a championship in their first four career years. The other head coaches who have accomplished this feat, there's just two. Joe Gibbs and Mike Tomlin.
Starting point is 00:35:18 Pretty good coaches. Nick Siriani. Let's just hope Nick isn't going 500 for a decade in about seven years. Yeah, you know, you got to get a quarterback. And the Steelers haven't been able to get a quarterback since Ben Rafflesberger. And what a creepy was. Nick Siriani is the first Super Bowl era head coach to make four straight playoff appearances with Super Bowl births and a championship in this first four years. Unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:35:50 It really is unbelievable. And, you know, I know some people over in Haddonfield area that's, solemn earlier this year. And like they thought physically, he was kind of like going through it. Like hood was up just kind of looked like he wasn't really enjoying himself. So I think I think our man has been through it this past year. And to now stand on the mountain top, it's got to feel damn good. Like ZB, he needs to get some sleep this off season.
Starting point is 00:36:19 But like again, like I think him and Jalen, they're kind of intertwined because there have been questions about them. There has been controversy surrounding them. When you win this Super Bowl, and not only that, when you win the Super Bowl, it also makes your Super Bowl appearance seem better, too, because you actually have one and you have that Super Bowl appearance to show that you have been in the mix for the last four years. It just feels more complete now. You can't take it away from these guys, Jam. We have to look at them completely differently now. And they deserve it. And when you think about how his tenure started, you know, with that awkward introductory press conference during COVID. You know, I kind of defended him.
Starting point is 00:37:01 I was on sports radio at the time and I was like, look, Zoom sucks. Like it's hard to do a Zoom call with friends, let alone with 50 reporters chomping at the bit to ask you questions. I thought that was a tough start for him. And then he had the flowers thing where people, you know, made fun of them. But the thing that over these four years has stood the test of time, his players seem to absolutely love this guy. Vinny has said, you know, the guys in that locker room love him.
Starting point is 00:37:30 They'll do anything for him. And I think Bo has phrased it pretty perfectly. I think Diana Rossini asked him last week, you know, is Nick Siriani a good coach? And Nick's answer, I think, is like kind of perfect of he's the right coach for this team. He might not be the right coach for all 32 teams. But when it comes to this talent level and motivating the. guys and working on the fundamentals and basics and inspiring the team, he's the right guy for this team. And I think that's a really good way to put it. Well, and when you think about the
Starting point is 00:38:04 player development that we've talked about all year, I think Nolan Smith is the best example where that guy has just gotten better in a way. You rarely see. You rarely see a player over a season, continue to get better, continue to get more opportunity. And Nick deserve some credit for that, man. Like, he's the one overseeing the whole operation. I'm not saying that Clint Hurt doesn't deserve credit for that. I'm not saying that Vic Fangio or Nolan, especially. Nolan deserves the most credit for that. But Nick has overseen it.
Starting point is 00:38:32 And I would just say, Jamie, like this team is insanely talented, but they, they were ready to go like these last two. Yeah. They were absolutely ready to go. He deserves credit for that. No, no let up from these guys. They ran through the tape. It was awesome to see. You know, I thought it was funny.
Starting point is 00:38:49 We were on the post game show, so we didn't really get to see the trophy presentation. But did you see that Nick said, Kellen, let's run this, this bleep back after. I have him on my notes here because I saw a former player. Maybe it was Darius Butler. I forgot who it was. I saw their tweet and I wrote it down. I wrote down, is Kellen Moore making a mistake?
Starting point is 00:39:13 Now, look, there's only 32 of these jobs in the world. Financially, you're setting yourself up and future generations up. So you can never say somebody. he's taking doing the wrong thing but there is a question rich of like the saints are a mess they have a cap situation that is hell they're going through a PR scandal that is just like vile it's like insane yeah yeah like the worst stuff ever it's not a good roster it's not a good cap situation there's no quarterback now i can't say he's doing the wrong thing because i would probably take the money in one of 32 jobs in the world myself. But I do wonder if staying here one more
Starting point is 00:40:00 year makes him a candidate to much more than a bad situation. And I really think the same situation is a bad situation. Vinnie kind of hit it on us, hit us with it last night when it came to players and him taking the bag to go to Tampa Bay and how there was always a part of him that kind of regretted not staying here for less money. And I think the players are going to find themselves in this situation. And I think Kellan Moore kind of finds himself in this same situation. I do kind of wonder if five years from now you put the truth serum in Kellam's coffee and say, did you make a mistake? So I'm curious how that plays out. It's one of those things that we don't know what the right answer is because, you know, you look back
Starting point is 00:40:44 to somebody like Bobby Sloick last year. Bobby Sloick, Texan's offensive coordinator was like the hot name. He was somebody who, I think a lot of Eagles. fans were pining for some of that under under center play action stroud was doing in the playoffs looked like he was the uh the next wonder kin from the shanahan coaching tree well he he's out of a job right now james he's not even an offensive coordinator anywhere so you know maybe kellen more and the eagles have another great season next year and maybe he would have gotten a better job than the saints but he is taking the bird in the hand i will say it's not a good job i completely agree with you it's going to take quite a rebuild i hope he would get you know a very long
Starting point is 00:41:23 track and some decent runway because they have a lot of stuff to work out there. It's a great question. And the thing is, we don't know what the right answer is right now. I don't blame him for taking it because I think most coaches believe like, just get me in there. I will, I'll fix it. I'll set my culture. I'll call some good plays, whatever.
Starting point is 00:41:43 And maybe he's right. But yeah, it's not a great looking job, I would say. I will say, Kellyn Moore, I thought had a really nice game yesterday on the offensive side of the ball. because look, Steve Spagnolo and the defense and one of our super chats from Roheet says the Eagles have destroyed Spags two times overrated. Well, look, Spags's game plan yesterday was to take Sequin Barkley out of the game. They did that. The problem is the Eagles are so freaking talented all over the place that they can survive a Sequan getting removed from the game and it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:42:18 But I thought Kellan Moore had a pretty nice game plan yesterday, a very nice Super Bowl. out of our former OC. Jimmy Patsos, does that name mean anything to you, Jim? It sounds really familiar. He was an old college basketball coach, and he was famous for when he was playing Steph Curry at Davidson. He employed a triangle and two on Steph Curry,
Starting point is 00:42:43 but he put the two guys on Steph Curry, which is like unheard of. And after the game was over, he held Steph Curry to zero points. And he said, well hey I held him to zero points but they lost by 30 because they weren't guarding anybody else and I thought it was really funny that spags basically he took sequin out of the game and sequan lost in all of this madness should not be that sayquan barkley the chief scheme that just take
Starting point is 00:43:08 him completely out of the game and it made everything else so much easier you get the one-on-ones i mean on that long devante touchdown pass first off great call by kellen moore and and jalen hurts whoever dialed that up they were thinking run they thought Eagles are going to pound the rock to try and end this game. And the Eagles said, you know what? We're going to make the kill shot right now because we're going to stick it in Saquan's chest, pull it back, Devante against Jalen Watson one-on-one, long touchdown. As you said, nice toss to the ref afterwards.
Starting point is 00:43:36 But Saquan was at the center of it, right? They completely scheme to take Saquan out of the game. They did that. Nice job, Spags, but you didn't really do a great job because the Eagles, you said, Jalen Hertz, passing game, you got to beat us. And Jalen Hertz said, okay, we will. Yeah, absolutely. He made it look pretty easy.
Starting point is 00:43:53 He did. So, Kellan Moore, good luck in New Orleans. Thanks for the Super Bowl. It'll be interesting to see, you know, who the next hire is for OC. Another super chat here at the juice, man. Yeah, maybe he's got the magic touch here. Another super chat from Barrett Roth says, Dominant Eagles D still needs a nickname.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Latest idea, bird dogs. Super Bowl underdog winner again, Georgia Bulldogs, Nick's dog mentality, and birds playoff, let's hunt theme. Unbelievable performance last night. I don't hate it. Now, I do own some bird dog shorts, so a company does exist out there. And the bird dog, because I watch, I'm a Shark Tank fan.
Starting point is 00:44:44 I don't know if you ever saw the Bird Dog episode of Shark Tank Rich. I haven't. But they're like, it's worth looking up. because these guys were like Harvard kind of d-bags and came out real cocky and the sharks just absolutely hated them and like shot their whole business model down. And they were like, yeah, the bird dog's the guy that gets in early in the morning. It has a 30-packed beer. It takes care of his work. And it's the life of the party.
Starting point is 00:45:09 And they like went on this whole bird dog kind of like mission statement. And it's good at buy-in to bird dogs. Oh, no. Mark Cuban like roasted them. But it's a successful company now, right? super successful. The sharks missed out. And now they're marketing. Not the first time Mark Cuban's missed out on something.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Yeah, like I got a pair of shorts once from inside the box. It was like, you know, Mark Cuban said we were a failure. So they turned it into like their marketing ploy. So bird dogs, I don't hate, but it does exist as a company out there. I don't know. They still sound like debags, honestly. They absolutely are. They absolutely are.
Starting point is 00:45:43 Anyway, you're right, though, that this defense does need a nickname. Legion of Zoom, I see in the chat. Well, did you see last night, Jamie? I was like listening to some of the podcasts and I was watching a lot of the videos. It seemed like some of the older players like Brandon Graham, Lane Johnson, the guys who were two-time Super Bowl champs now. Both of those guys. Give me two. Give me too, Utah.
Starting point is 00:46:08 Brandon Graham, absolute Eagles legend, Philadelphia sports legend. And Lane Johnson, Hall of Famer, like just not even a question. Those guys were hitting on my notes here. I have a Lane Johnson topic. I was about to throw your way, but continue your point. We didn't even talk about him last night. Like, you know, he's, he's a guy who, when he does well, we don't even mention him because his job is just to make sure that Jalen stays upright and the defensive end
Starting point is 00:46:33 across from him does not get mentioned. That happened last night. Lane is, Lane is unbelievable. But you could tell that the young guys were turning up on the other side of the locker room. Like there was a, there was an age gap. There was a difference. Jalen was doing all of his Jordan poses. But you could tell, like,
Starting point is 00:46:49 the Nolan Smith, like those guys were, we're having fun. Those guys are guys in their young 20s. You did sort of see the generation gap a little bit. You know, it's funny, Jim, I was, I was in the locker room for the first one, and that was an older team for the most part. And it seemed like, you know, for that locker room, it was like, you know, guys smoking cigars, but it was a, it was a very like, I don't know, satisfied locker room.
Starting point is 00:47:14 It didn't seem like they were doing the, uh, the meek mill dance and they were all going crazy for that. It was a lot of like hanging out in the locker, just like lounging, like putting their feet up, stuff like that. It seemed like last night there was like a dance party going on with, uh, with Nolan Smith and Andre Sam as we learned last night as well. I saw a great video of Nolan Smith, uh, you know, dapping up BG and pounding them on the shoulder pads and going, this is a bleep and OJ right here. This is the O.G with two. It was really cool to see, uh, BG get his roses. Uh, before I get to the Lane Johnson topic. A couple nicknames getting tossed around in the chat here. Just give me your gut reactions to them.
Starting point is 00:47:55 Let's see. Jalen is riding the Tron and Disney World already. Wow. Good for him. What were you going to say? Well, I was like at this time last year, Jamie, and that goes to show that the Eagles are, they're unlike any kind of good team where they just have these ups and downs.
Starting point is 00:48:14 I was so sick of the Georgia dogs at this time last year. I was like, can these guys show something for us? to like bestow this nickname on them. Like the Georgia, you can call them the Georgia dogs, but I don't have positive thoughts thinking about them right now, considering how bad that defense was. I mean,
Starting point is 00:48:30 they're my favorite defense ever now. Like they were, they were all a huge part of orchestrating this worst of first turnaround. We should also mention the Kobe Dean, awesome job all season getting us to this part. And here's another one too. Orrin Burks had to play the whole playoffs and didn't hear his name in like, a bad way once. It was one of those things where if I'm not hearing your name, it's a good thing.
Starting point is 00:48:54 Obviously, we did hear his name a couple times. He forced some turnovers in these playoffs as well. Awesome job. Orrin Berks was a guy who the Chiefs last year, they picked on a little bit in that Super Bowl. He was the backup for the 49ers who had to come in. I believe it was for Dre Greenlaw when he got hurt. Well, Orrin Berks was on the field for a lot of plays last night, Jim. And yeah, he was. He didn't do squat against Orrin Burks. No, and I'm sure that felt pretty good for Orrin. Polar Jam says the Bond Squad. A couple shoutouts for Frank Wright to return because
Starting point is 00:49:26 Nick Siriani has so much respect for him. Sure, why not? I don't care. Our defense is. I don't care. Yeah, sure. Frank Wright next year. Who cares? Yeah, who cares? Yeah, you want the job, Rich? Our defense hit so hard. They should be called the Legion of Boom.
Starting point is 00:49:43 We got the Green Inferno, the Legion of Zoom, Fang Green. Fang Green's getting some love. I like that. Fan Green's not bad. AJ says the green Inferno. Grace Min says the no-fly zone. Baldy has a great nickname for the defense called the Filthy Five. AWOG says the birds of prey.
Starting point is 00:50:07 Chase Daniel Plainview says Clinton hurts nasty boys and the D-Bagg, debacks. INS says the Jalen Carter experience. the green machine some good nicknames flying out midnight hour or birds of prey midnight nightmares green biscuit fine wine and spirits
Starting point is 00:50:30 bird dogs jersey jailins jersey birds and scrapple turnover I like the creativity well I think this core is going to be around for long enough Jane that we will have a couple more years to workshop these nicknames because I don't think they're going anywhere.
Starting point is 00:50:47 Yeah, no, it's pretty special. Now, what I wrote down about Lane Johnson here, Rich, I'd love your opinion on this and people in the chat. Hit that thumbs up button. Tell a friend or family. This week we're going to have great coverage. We're hoping to get Vinny on a parade float, maybe with some content coming out.
Starting point is 00:51:06 So it's going to be a big week for us here at PHLY. So if you're not subscribed to the channel, subscribe to the channel now. Tell a neighbor, tell a friend, tell a family member. this is the place to be. It's a great kick-ass community, and I can't wait to celebrate with everyone all week long. All right, Lane Johnson, two-time Super Bowl champion,
Starting point is 00:51:25 the undoubted, like, best pick of his draft class. And it goes number four. And thank you, Miami, for taking Dionne Jordan, because I was positive Chip Kelly was going to take him if he was on the board. We have Chip Kelly to thank for Lane Johnson, which is the irony is hilarious. is Lane Johnson the greatest eagle ever.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Oh, wow. I don't know if I have. Now, Reggie White might be the best individual player. But you're talking career plus player, right? Like the impact, but also. Reggie won in Green Bay. Also, what he has accomplished. He's going to be Canton Bound.
Starting point is 00:52:07 He is a Hall of Famer. I don't think there's any denial there. He's the best at his position. for an extended period of time. He's a two-time Super Bowl champion. I think there's a really, really strong case to make that Lane Johnson will be the greatest eagle ever.
Starting point is 00:52:27 I don't even know who would be, like in the modern day, you know, you'd probably say Doc. Dawkins. Doc didn't win anything. Dawkins and Kelsey are the two that come to mind. But now Lane has two. Kelsey won, one.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Yes, one. I mean, you can go back into like, Chuck Bednarick maybe. Yeah, I mean, Concrete Charlie, I grew up hearing about him from my dad, like, you know, the legends of him.
Starting point is 00:52:53 I can't say I've, I've crunched the Bednaric tape from Connie Mack Stadium. Again, playing on both sides of the ball, it's pretty impressive. Yeah, I mean, he might be. I think you're convincing me right now. It's not really,
Starting point is 00:53:07 it's, I talked about all the superlatives last night, James, and you just threw another one on me. I think you're right. Yeah. I mean, I think Lane,
Starting point is 00:53:15 it's just so understated his excellence. He has been the best tackle in the league for forever. Now, it's unbelievable. I mean, to have this nip of career, I was so happy. You know what?
Starting point is 00:53:28 The best moment of last year when they lose to Tampa, the only good moment from that postgame locker room because you have Lurie, he hugs Jason Kelsey, he hugs Fletcher Cox, their careers are over. We have no idea what's going to happen with Nick at that. point we have no idea what's going to happen with the team the defense at that point the only good thing that i remember i did the newsletter the next day lane was like i'm playing for a few more
Starting point is 00:53:52 years and thankfully we got that last night he says no i'm going to play next year or two like we're going to try and win another trophy he's been such an amazing player for such a long time yeah i hope um i hope there's two or three more years left in the in the tank i hope it's not just one i don't want to I don't want to talk about the all-time best eagle hanging it up after next year, but it's great he's back. He, you know, appears healthy. He had that nagging ankle thing for a long time, had a couple surgeries on it, but that seems to have dissipated and been corrected.
Starting point is 00:54:27 So that's pretty good. I hope he can give us two to three more years because he truly is Cantonbound. Him and Fletcher Cox, I think, are going to be enshrined there. And he's really, He's really a special player, man. It's it's awesome to see. It's part of how Howie games the system where he thinks, okay, if we're terrible once every five years,
Starting point is 00:54:51 it's not ideal, but at least we get a top draft pick and we have a chance to hit on those. And the two times that the Eagles have been, well, there's been three times since Howie has taken over. But, you know, one of those was Wentz. And obviously that really helped them win their first Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:55:05 So I shouldn't really bag on that right now. But the two that come to mind right away from me, James are Lane Johnson in 2013 and then Devante Smith in 2021. Yeah. Years, right? They get into that top tenish range and they come away with two absolute studs. To your point, maybe the most accomplished greatest eagle of all time. And then just an awesome player who, you know, is making plays in the Super Bowl, an awesome team guy,
Starting point is 00:55:32 a guy who signed for a long time here. Nice job by them. And Chip Kelly, somebody pointed out in the chat, Zach, was the second round pick this that year what a draft from chip you know he but well i think that was the year he banished howie to the other side of the building and yeah that was that was 2015 wasn't it that was 15 i'll have to i can't remember i think agalar was the year chip's uh record by the way chip being the highest paid coordinator in football what did he do to deserve that ravers he was coaching an All-Star College team.
Starting point is 00:56:08 He didn't realize that the forward pass made that team unbeatable until like mid-December. Like, come on. What's going on to Las Vegas? What do we do? Chase Daniel Plainview says we're forgetting somebody, Rich. And he says Travis Folgum is top two and he's not two. It's a fair point. I mean, if you're talking about a five or six game sample size, Travis Folgum's probably top three.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Look, when Carson Wentz was falling apart, Travis Fulgum was his safety blanket. That is shit. I drank the, I'll admit it. I drank the Kool-Aid. I was like, maybe they found like the needle in the haystack. This guy's incredible. Well, those five or six games were pretty sick. I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:56:52 They were pretty, pretty spectacular. That's what makes this worth it, though, man. We suffer through the Travis Fulgum era. Not, and by the way, I don't mean that as a as a slight on Travis. When Travis Fulgum was getting let down by the other 52 players, we suffered through that era. Now we see a team that's absolutely loaded and wins a Super Bowl. Now, in true sicko fashion,
Starting point is 00:57:17 I don't want to go over a show here, Rich, without mentioning some DVOA. Are you ready for a little DVOA stat porn from yesterday? Sure. This is from your man, Aaron Shats, who said the Eagles are the 77th best Super Bowl winner ever. He said he posted about the Eagles defense in quarters one through three. I should have just looked at the first half.
Starting point is 00:57:41 The Eagles had a defensive DVOA of negative 163% in the first half. By comparison, the 1985 Bears, you know, everybody says the greatest defense of all time, had a negative 137% in the first half, just an obscene defensive performance. That's for the sickos there. Bump them up to number 70. So I took a look, Rich, in true degenerate fashion, at next year's Super Bowl odds on Bet365. One of our presenting sponsors,
Starting point is 00:58:23 use that code P-H-L-Y-365. I don't know if you looked at my sheet I sent you or not in terms of the odds that it was buried down at the bottom there. Would you like to take a guess who is the Super Bowl favorite next year on Bet 365. Chiefs. You're not wrong. They're tied with your Philadelphia Eagles.
Starting point is 00:58:49 The Chiefs and Eagles are both plus 650 to hoist the Lombardi again next year. I love to see that. Right behind them is the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens at plus 700. The Lions are the next NFC team at plus. plus 900. The 49ers, which is very funny, plus 1,400. They're talking about trading Debo Samuel. And we're going to wrap up momentarily.
Starting point is 00:59:15 But to everybody watching on TV, thank you for hanging out with us. If you want to continue watching the show, just head to all p.hly.com. The 49ers are on the verge of not being a serious team anymore. So it's very funny that they are third in the NFC in terms of Super Bowl odds next year. So it's kind of the Eagles and Lions division is what I take from this, or conference, I should say. So we've talked a lot about how Joe Shane and Giants fans should feel bad and how Cowboys fans should be bad. We should send Joe Shane a PHLY care package, maybe a little like some wah-wahogies, some soft pretzels, some tasty cakes. You know who should really feel bad, though, Jamie?
Starting point is 01:00:00 I'm thinking of three teams, and you just mentioned them, the Ravens, the Bills, and the Niners. like to just see the Eagles absolutely destroy that team that team that beats them every time they play in a big game that had to kill them how do the bills not beat them this time that team was not that good I know that team was not even like Aaron Schatz you should say that that was one of the worst Super Bowl teams in recent memory I don't even care about their record they won all of these insanely lucky games all year people were talking about like oh man they just know how
Starting point is 01:00:35 how to win and they were treating the regular season like a laboratory. No, man, they were the luckiest team in NFL history and they finally got what was coming to them in the Super Bowl. And do you know who's hosting the Super Bowl next year? I don't. That would be Levi Stadium in Santa Clara. So the Eagles can go win in front of some 49ers fans and that would be some sweet poetic justice.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Yeah. My voice. I got to say we're over the hour mark as you're calling. coughing up a storm right now. I got to compliment your voice. I thought it was going to be much worse. I did too. It hung in there a little bit for me, but it's definitely on thin ice. It's a fighter, your voice. Yeah. It's been like a month of just, I think it was the Rams game that really kind of ruined it, and I haven't really recovered yet in a couple weeks. So I appreciate everybody dealing with my hoarseness a little bit here. Now, Rich, before we get out of here,
Starting point is 01:01:33 Rimo K in the chat says how he needs to be sending offers to Bon right now that is by far the thing I care about most in the offseason. Is that your number one priority? There's going to be plenty of offseason talk, but right now, day after. I think he's the player that I want back the most, which is crazy because he's a linebacker and the Eagles, they don't pay offball linebackers. I think when, uh, when Bowen Z. B are here, they can talk more about what they, the free agent market's going to look like around the league, how much money the Eagles have to spend, how much money other teams are going to spend on some of these players. But like just from a, you know, idiot fan type of perspective, just somebody who's enjoyed watching this team all year,
Starting point is 01:02:17 I think Bonn is the guy that I want back the most. Yes. Yeah, Milton Williams is close, but I agree. I think Zach Bonn is a guy with Nicobi Dean's health. I don't think you can afford to have that drop off, you know, like I just think that position matters, man. It does. Yeah, absolutely. with the amount of 11 and 12 personnel and slot and quick dumpoffs like you need to be able to cover. You need to be able to tack downhill in the run game. The linebacker position is really critical to modern football. And, you know, Zach Bonn, one of the great story lines of this team of this season, really good stuff. But a lot of guys are going to make some money out there.
Starting point is 01:02:55 Josh Sweat made some money. Milton Williams is going to get some offers. But I guess when Miles Garrett's here playing with. Jalen Carter, Rich. I mean, that's as good as back to back as you can get, right? I'm sure Miles Garrett would love the player. So I tried to get in his face at Radio Row last week with the cell phone ready, like a paparazzi D bag.
Starting point is 01:03:18 He tried to get in his face. He's a big dude. He is huge. He is a physical freak. He had a team. Are you sticking your nose in there? He told me he wished both teams had fun or both teams win or something like that. his handler shut me down pretty quick.
Starting point is 01:03:35 But I was trying to ask him if he wanted to be in Philadelphia. He was getting a lot of come to the birds, birds, birds. You know, Ike Reese was yelling at him. And he kind of had a smirk to him. I think the Eagles are a team that's going to be in his top three or four considerations. How about the handlers like, shooing people like, man, you requested a trade this week and then you went on Radio Row. What do you think people are going to be doing?
Starting point is 01:04:00 but Jalen Carter and Miles Garrett are going to look pretty good on a line together. I'm looking forward to that next year. In Howie, we trust. Yeah, absolutely. All right, that's going to do it for us today. A great day. Everybody enjoy the hell out of this. Everybody's wearing birds fans around town.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Everybody's tired, but we're fighting through because we're riding that adrenaline high of the Eagles being Super Bowl champions for the second time in eight years. three trips to the Super Bowl and eight years, Rich. I can get used to this. Let's do it again, you know? Let's do it again, but let's celebrate this one first. Yeah, and it's a great time right now. As the Eagles are picking 32nd in the upcoming draft,
Starting point is 01:04:44 Fran Duffy is hard at work on his draft stuff. It is a living document. And right now we have a special for, I believe we're going to extend it through the rest of the week because the birds are champions, and this is what we do, to become a diehard. So you get the Z-Burm picture, or excuse me, article from last night of the locker room and what it was like to be in there. You get Bo Wolfe's writing.
Starting point is 01:05:09 You get Les Bowen's writing. You get Fran Duffy's instant live access to his draft package, which is about to become the best in the country. And for $4 a month, you can get access to all of them, plus Kyle and Derek and Charlie and Jim Salisbury and so many great writers. The best staff in the city. I don't think there's any denial there and you can get it all for $4 a month right now. So diehard special going on. I believe getting extended through the end of the week
Starting point is 01:05:37 but take advantage of it now. And don't forget, of course, there's some great merch on the all-P-H-L-Y locker room. So some great stuff happening. Make sure this is your home this week. We're going to be down on the parkway on Friday on Valentine's Day as we fall more in love with this team. I can't wait to get that bird's jersey on the far left there.
Starting point is 01:05:57 that's the one I got my eye on. But tell a friend, like and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. Spread the good word of P HLY out there to everybody as it's going to be a fun week ahead. Zach and Bo are going to be back tomorrow. Vinny's going to be doing some stuff for us. Me and Rich are always here if we're needed. So it's going to be great, Rich. And me and you are tied together for history now.
Starting point is 01:06:22 You know, we watched an Eagles Super Bowl together. I think we got to do Wednesdays next week. or next year too, Mim. Yeah, I guess so. You know, you can't mess with what got you here. And I've learned that Julia, our producer, I watched it with her in 2018. I didn't watch it with her in 2023.
Starting point is 01:06:41 Come on. Watched it with her in 2025. Me and Julia are now tied to the hip for every championship game that will ever happen in Philadelphia now because you've got to do what works. These are the rules. For Rich Hoffman,
Starting point is 01:06:56 I am Jamie Lynch. Thank you to our sponsors at Bet365 and Ace Hardware Home Services for bringing you this show. It's going to be a great week. Like and subscribe, all that good stuff. Thank you to everybody. And in the words of Bo Wolf, we love you.
