Starting point is 00:00:13 To the P.HLY Eagles podcast, free agency frenzy presented by TrueMark Financial. Visit trumark.com for rates and to learn more. TrueMark Financial, federally insured by the NCUA Equal Opportunity Lender rates are subject to change. Both Wolf, Fran Duffy, Zach Berman on a bit of a solemn day. From an Eagles standpoint, Zach, why don't you take away the news? Rick Levato is not returning as the Eagles long snapper. The Eagles are making a change at Long Snapper. I see your face here.
Starting point is 00:00:48 You're going with the solemn look. The Eagles are bringing in Charlie Hewlett from the Chicago, I'm sorry, from the Cleveland Browns, 34 years old, veteran long snapper wants the highest paid long snapper in the NFL. And he joins an operation now with Jake Elliott and with Braden Mann. So nine years in Philadelphia for Rick Lovato famously took over for, he took over full time for John Dornbos in the 2017 season. He came in in 2016 for the Eagles, but he will have to play elsewhere because the Eagles are moving on to Charlie Hewlett. Fran?
Starting point is 00:01:38 I know you're doing your best to get through it, Beau. You know, look, this is a business in the NFL, two-time Super Bowl champion, Rick Levado, one of the longest tenured Philadelphia Eagles, obviously. But, yeah, they move on. Tough news for me, as pointed out in the chat, tough news for me in Flew World Order. Hopefully, I can make up for it in other ways. We'll see how the rest of the offseason plays out. And as you point out, the Eagles now, if Brandon Graham retires,
Starting point is 00:02:05 they will be down to just Lane Johnson and Jake Elliott as the two-time Super Bowl champions on the roster. Zach, from a serious standpoint, why? Yeah, look, I could try to play my best like sports and I was talking on here. I honestly don't know enough about long snapping to assess how Charlie Hewitt compares to Rick Lovato. My guess is Tyler Brown, the Eagles assistant special teams coach, who's very involved in the kicking game, right? That's that's kind of his special. is studying this and probably made an assessment. That's my guess.
Starting point is 00:02:47 I know people are saying there were Aaron snaps last year, and there were, you know, there were some snaps that weren't great, but it would be, it would be me like playing apart if I were to try to tell you what Charlie Hewlett's going to provide that Ruclevado didn't. No, but that's from a, from a. long snapping skill standpoint, but I think it is reasonable to say that this fits with what they've been doing all offseason. This is a, I mean, it is really pinching pennies, but it is trying to get cheaper at the long sniper position. Now, we'll see what, I think it's a little bit. Yes. Now,
Starting point is 00:03:28 I also don't think that Charlie Hewlett is necessarily guaranteed to be the long sniper next year. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring in a rookie to compete at that spot. Yeah, I mean, Rick Levato was was on a contract that that was counting less against the cap last year than what they're reportedly paying Hewlett compared to, or I'm sorry, according to Aaron Wilson, who had the numbers. Levada was was on a particular veteran contract. Rick Levato was younger than Charlie Healut. So I don't know if this is financially motivated. My guess is my understanding is it is financially motivated.
Starting point is 00:04:08 financially motivated okay so if that's the case then uh yeah i mean it's i i wish i had more cogent analysis for you here i don't they're changing long snappers and i'll i'll ask around as to why but it's it's it's the type of thing that it's it's hard for me to assess like like last year levato had a you know a one million dollar cap it i think 1.035 had i think he had you know um 50 000 signing bonus, you know, one to a $1.2 million base salary. I don't know the particulars of what he was expecting in this year, but Charlie Hewlett is older and is not like. There's also been injured last year, but only five years. Yeah. So yeah, I look, it's, it's, I, I wish I was, I was coming on here, but better analysis. I don't want to fake it.
Starting point is 00:05:03 I don't know enough about long snapping that, the, to tell you why they made this move. Fran, do you have any favorite Rick Lovato memories? The snap you had on the field goal 52. How about that? Pretty good. No, I mean, yeah, like Zach, for all the other people that the Eagles have brought in this spring so far this week,
Starting point is 00:05:28 I've been able to read my college notes. I can't pretend that I have long snapper scouting reports on Charlie Hewlett coming out of school. So like Zach, you just kind of have to just go off of what they tell us and go from there. Like you, though, I would be shocked if they didn't bring in a rookie here in the next couple months. Zach, how do you feel about the widespread complaints in the chat that we did not do an emergency
Starting point is 00:05:53 podcast for this signing? Perhaps we should have. I feel like I'd be cheating the audience, though, because I usually try to come, like, prepared with more intel and more information. I was preparing for the show in other ways. But I don't have much on the long snapping situation. I'll say that on a personal level, right? I've been around Rick now going back to 2017.
Starting point is 00:06:18 I respect his story. I respect his commitment to his craft. A nice guy, you know, him and his wife, I went through a lot to have a baby recently. And, yeah, I mean, I wish him the best in his career. And he is somewhat like, look, we're not best friends with these guys. but you do get to know someone, especially when he's on the team since 2016, 2017. So, yeah, I mean, he's someone I always enjoyed speaking to. And I got to know.
Starting point is 00:06:50 I like a Rick Lovato. I'll miss a Rick Lovato. Yeah. Rick Lovato was the Eagles long snapper. There you go. All right. Big picture zoom out. We talked a little bit yesterday.
Starting point is 00:07:03 But after the week the Eagles have had, Zach, let's start with you. How differently do you feel than a week ago about what to expect from the Eagles in 2025? Not one bit different. There has been nothing that has occurred this week that has surprised me other than the trade of C.J. Garner Johnson. I did think there was going to be a decision made with the contract. I thought they would keep him. I didn't think they were going to trade him. But other than the trading of C.J.
Starting point is 00:07:37 Garner Johnson. I expect them to lose the guys they've lost. I didn't expect them to be major players in the three-agent market. But you didn't expect them to be this minor players. Like, no, I expect them to sign one person, one player. I expect them to sign bargain guys. That's this is, that's the, that's the, I, now, I thought maybe it would happen during the negotiation period as opposed to after them, the negotiation period. But, but, but, but these. These were the waters that I expected them to swim it. Or you expected them to sign a player of significance who had been released. I mean, we didn't expect them to be this miserly.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Well, look, I mean, I didn't think some of the contracts would be at the numbers that they were, too, right? And we'll get into some contracts that I think they could have signed. But the players were really, like Draymond Jones got $10 million a year. I didn't think the Eagles were going to pay him $10 million a year. I feel like that's not what you said last week, but that's okay. I mean, the good thing is all these things are recorded. Yeah, I. Yeah, we did a whole quacketology of guys that we had like Khalil Mack and Dramon Jones and Harold Landry.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Yeah, I didn't think that that Draymond Jones was going to be at that price. I thought like a sub $10 million cap it would be the, the, uh, Yeah, will it be the waters they'd be swimming? So am I like, are we doing two different shows here? This is kind of what I expected. I think there's a bit of a difference between not being major players and not signing anybody for more than $2 million. I don't think we were telling people that it was going to be quite this penny pinching. Yeah, look, I mean, I would be surprised if.
Starting point is 00:09:39 I think we laid it out, mostly correct, that they were going to play the compact game. They were going to let the big guys leave. They were not going to be major players. But we didn't expect it was going to be such a cash crunch until word came out about that on Sunday and Monday. And then the C.J. Gardner Johnson trade happens. We thought they were going to maybe add one player like of significance. They haven't added a single player who is definitely going to make the roster next year. I think Josh Ushay will be on the team at this point.
Starting point is 00:10:11 But no, I hear your point. I hear your point. I also think that it's Friday of the first week of free agency. Sure. There's a one way to go. They still have money in there. The original question is like, do you feel differently about this team? And the answer is absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Like I feel like the way I thought about this team going into free agency, I feel about them now. I thought they were going to turn in, or I thought they were going to turn in. I thought they were going to turn to younger players. I thought they were going to try to safeguard some of those spots. Yeah, I think they are. I think there are questions on the defensive line and the pass rush. You know, Franz documented well what this draft presents. And I think there'll be major players in the drafts at that spot.
Starting point is 00:10:52 But I would feel differently about this team. If this is the roster they go into training camp with, I just think there's this is, there's been nothing here that's like, I'm like, wow, other than the C.J. Garner Johnson move did surprise. The trade surprised me, but I did think there was going to be something done with C.J. Garner Johnson's contract. Fran, before we get to your thoughts on that, somebody mentioned in the chat and a good time to bring it up. A great opportunity for the die-hards, where if you want to spend some time
Starting point is 00:11:23 with the Duffman and really get your film freak flag on, we have a die-hard only event on March 25th. That's a Tuesday evening, 5.30. p.m. You can join us in the studio for some film breakdowns with the Duffman. We'll look at some of the players that egos have added in free agency, maybe dip our toes into some draft stuff as well. But this is limited capacity. If you want to get in on this, you got to get in now. And this is for the die hard only, which is also a reminder. It's a very good time to become a diehard. Today is the last day of our introductory offer, $36 for 12 months of becoming die-hard. So now is the chance to do it.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Yeah, it's going to be a lot of fun. This is something we've talked about doing for the last few months. And so we'll do one just post-free agency. And maybe we'll do a little bit less a Dore Jackson and Josh Ushey film. And maybe we're diving into a little bit more Q&A with the draft. But regardless, we're going to be getting into some film of the Eagles. And we'll talk through some things here in March in a couple weeks. and we'll have another one after the draft.
Starting point is 00:12:31 And that one, obviously, it'll be focused solely on the Eagles draft selections after the draft. So it'll be a lot of fun. That one will be May 6th. Yeah. Go ahead. And there's a philanthropic component to this as well, correct? Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:44 So part of the donations will go to the Huntington's Disease Organization for America, which Huntington's disease is something that's close to me and my family. So, yeah, no, I appreciate you. Bring that up. And as Vince quote up. food dinner will be provided as well. So it's, uh, it's, I think, I believe $24 if you're a diehard, because you got obviously, you get some money off if you're a diehard. So, uh, you come, you have some dinner, uh, sitting with, with the three of us, we'll watch some film and talk some
Starting point is 00:13:13 eagles. You get to eat, you get to eat that tape, baby. You much that bad boy. So, so we'll do some guys. We'll do some guys together. Yes, everybody can have their own, their own cut chair. Go ahead. Just for the purpose of accuracy, Fran and Bo will be doing the guys for this one. I'm going to be out of town that week. I'm sorry. I'm going to be missing it. I will be at the mace. That's right. You can zoom in if you want to watch. Yeah, that would be great. That would be great. Fran, how do you feel it? Do you feel any differently about the Eagles in 2025 than you did a week ago? No. I think, look, at the end of the day, you know, I was listening to a podcast. I'm trying to remember which one it was. They were talking about, you know, the chiefs and free agency. They lose a bunch of guys.
Starting point is 00:13:56 And it's like, all right, at the end of the day, it's still patch of my homes. You still have any, you know, it's Andy Reid, right? And I kind of feel that way about the Eagles. At the end of the day, yes, you lose C.J. Gardner Johnson, you lose Milton Williams, lose Josh Sweat. But you're putting your faith in the young talent defensively, along with Vic Fangio, you bring back Zach Bond and the impact that he had. And then offensively, the core still comes back with Jalen Hertz, Sequin Barclay, that offensive line, AJ Brown, Devante Smith, you know, and then you get whatever you add in via the draft and some of the additions there. I think you're just putting your faith in a lot of the core that is still here. So to me, I'm not anticipating like a huge drop off. I was anticipating
Starting point is 00:14:36 that look, this defense was number one this year in a number of categories. It was unlikely that they were going to be number one again anyway, even if they brought everybody back. And so I think when you factor in the fact that, yeah, they're losing some players, but you're going to count on some of these young guys to step up. Who knows, you know, some of these darts that they're throwing in free agency, maybe one of them hits. You get some unexpected value that way. You add in the draft picks and on you go. And we will talk in a little bit about some of the players who we think maybe they could have gone after at their relative price points. I do feel a little bit differently than I did a week
Starting point is 00:15:10 ago. I think I have some, I mean, listen, I know that I know that we are just beginning the offseason process, you know, and they're going to maybe trade for guys and they're going to do stuff before the season. But I think there are reasons to be not worried, but unsure about what the back seven is going to look like. You know, you have right now, Keely Ringo, Sydney Brown, and Jeremiah Charter Jr. pencilled into starting spots. Those guys will all not be starting week one.
Starting point is 00:15:38 But the departure of C.J. Gardner Johnson and the lack of transaction on any of those spots so far in a meaningful way, I think is enough to make you curious. I'm not saying like I don't think they're going to be a bad team or anything. I think they're still going to be, you know, the division of favorites. But I think I think if you were expecting regular regression on defense next year, that's one thing. I think you could be a little bit wary about what the back seven is going to look like right now. Yeah. I think that, you know, last year we would have said, hey, like they were going to have
Starting point is 00:16:13 rookies starting in the secondary and Zach Baum. Of course. You know, so I feel like it's the the typical questions that we would ask, I think I would still have those regardless. And then it's just, now it's just new names that we'll just have to see how they fit. Yeah, safety is the one that really jumps out to me, Bo. So if, yeah, I suppose as I ponder that, that question, I feel less confident in the Eagle's safety situation. And that's important in this defense. We talk about that going into free agency a year ago.
Starting point is 00:16:43 And that's not to say that Sidney Brown can't do it. but I do think that they need to safeguard that spot. I think they, you know, C.J. Garner Johnson, I'm not buying into this narrative that there was like a problem with him on the field. I understand he had certain liabilities. He also was elite at taking away the ball. He had six interceptions in 2002. He had six interceptions in 2024. The year he wasn't there, the Eagles struggled at safety.
Starting point is 00:17:13 We can talk about the business side of football, and that's totally fine, and that's totally understandable. But I am not participating in any spin of like C.J. Garner Johnson as a football player because I think C.J. Garner Johnson helped the team more than they hurt the team. Who's digging? What? Who's digging? Is that you? Yeah, that's me. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:17:40 You're blowing up. It's you. Respectfully. Oh. I had one thing on there, but yeah, respectfully, I don't have my notice. I don't have my dings on. It's not my phone. It's my computer.
Starting point is 00:17:57 We're hearing what those dings are is shout out to Marissa Dunn, who was for the, I believe, second day in a row telling us that they love the New Eagles edition. Big Charlie Hewlett fans in the Dunn household. Yeah, so I'm trying because I'll look at my. settings and tell it not to notify me about my method here don't I'll take off play sound effects okay so I will not know if a text arrives during the but you'll still see the thing come up it was it was you texting me you're saying who's dinging and it was from bo-wolf it says iK-T-R okay that was the text you can't it's not my fault that you're dinging no I I understand
Starting point is 00:18:42 But you're like, who's digging you? And I'm like, you are. You're the one texting. No, I said who's dinging? I mean, where's the noise coming from? We'll ignore the fact that two of the three of us are on a text. I'm just sitting here. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:57 I can empathize with that. I can empathize with that, for sure. For sure. I received a very nice email from someone who had my back on the, on the baby conversation from Oregon this week. because they're like what was the baby on a plane
Starting point is 00:19:17 I can't believe you're bringing this back up I'm not bringing the guy yeah sorry all right yeah let's let's proceed let's proceed wait what did the person say um
Starting point is 00:19:28 the person said that like it was like a real like human admission that that like you can understand things more when you have kids like and that there's just more understanding of that situation.
Starting point is 00:19:46 He's like most people are that way. Like, when you have kids, you can understand what it's like much better than when you don't have kids, which is precisely what I was saying during that moment. I think that applies to a lot of things. I wouldn't put it on that one, but that's okay. All right. Fair enough. That's all right.
Starting point is 00:20:06 I'm not banging on you here. I disagree with that one. That's all. Okay. All right. All right. Let's take a little break. Everybody calm down.

Starting point is 00:21:59 Some superchats to go through. We see Frank Barber, who says the dings are a reminder that ZB is always ready to break news. I know that's right. Corey Katz says, Love the work from ZB, Bowen, Zeeb dropped a Goddard Colts nugget on Anthony's show this week. Give us the slap CB.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Oh, you were throwing Denver out the other day and then they signed Engram. So now, yeah, tell us about Indianapolis. I just heard that the Colts is a team to watch is all. And it's not from someone from the Eagles. It's from someone else where in the league who's just kind of looking at, all right, the teams, it's bringing together teams
Starting point is 00:22:37 that need tight ends. teams that had cap space and kind of explaining that Goddard's a guy who, you know, Chris Bowers has been on record saying like they kind of need to address tight end, right? And it's a position that they've either missed on picks or haven't really gone out and signed. There's the Shane Stuyken connection. But yeah, this was speculated to me by someone in the league when I said, where could he go? Like who's going to pay him? And the teams that were given to me were Denver and Indianapolis.
Starting point is 00:23:09 going into free agency. Denver obviously paid money for Evan Ingram, didn't give up a pick. I would watch out for Indianapolis as a potential team. For whatever it's worth, I actually had heard keeping eye on the Colts as well, from not someone not in Philly, someone different.
Starting point is 00:23:25 I mean, I'm 99.9% sure someone different than who Zach had heard from. Interesting. Where are you at, Turkey's wise, Zach, on the likelihood that Dallas got her is going to be an eagle next year? Let's go with 12 Wow 88 turkeys he's not back 12 he is back Really? You're that
Starting point is 00:23:46 I'm surprised by that Yeah I'm surprised by that too And I reserve the right to amend it As I get more information But I haven't had anyone tell me like This is this is working toward a resolution It's more like Yeah you know Goddard's available
Starting point is 00:24:05 Goddard's available. And so typically it reminds me last year, by the way, of Hassan Reddick, when I kept saying, like, they should just keep Reddick. Like, they're a better football team with Reddick on it than without him. And it was just, you just kept hearing like, hey, Redick's available. And it probably won't cost as much you think it's going to cost, right? And so that was kind of the whole month of March. And then there was actually a date there that was important. It was April when he had a bonus.
Starting point is 00:24:34 In Goddard's case, the date's probably, the date might be June because you can spread the cap hit between this year and next year. But we've talked all week about cash versus cap. And I think this is a situation where you're saving $14 million of cash by trading Dallas Goddard. You're not paying him his contract next year. It's not guaranteed. So it's a way for them to move on from it. And you take, you absorb the cap hit. But we've talked so much about. I'll cash this week. And I think that that is, that is a lot of cash. And it's not, it's not quite this easy, but I think one way to, to think about it to sort of make it easier is that this year's cash is next year's cap. And so it's like you're, you're not saving cap room
Starting point is 00:25:21 now, but you're saving the cash for Jeffrey Lurie. And you're also saving some cap room next year. It's not, it's not always that easy, but it's one way to think about it. I still, like it, I believe that the Eagles are putting it out there, that they're ready to move on from Dallas Goddard. And I don't think they're entirely bluffing. But I do think there is maybe a resolution where they're putting this out there so that Dallas Goddard's camp knows that they're willing to do it. And then they could maybe come to come to some kind of agreement. I mean, 88 is high.
Starting point is 00:25:55 Man. I chose 88 because that was his number, honestly. I was going with like T.O. Like T. Like T.O. saying he's 81% ready for the Super Bowl. But, yeah, I mean, I hear you, and I still think that's the best resolution, is a Josh Sweat situation from last year, where a Darius Slay situation from two years ago. Well, Slay, I think, had a bigger offer. But in Sweat's case, it's like, hey, go see if someone's willing to pay you what you want.
Starting point is 00:26:21 And when no one's willing to pay you what you want, come back here at this number and we'll guarantee it. But I just haven't heard that this week. Friend, we don't have anybody better in the world to ask this question, too. than you. If the Eagles are moving on from Dallas Cotter, how sure can they be, how confident can they be that they're going to find a starting caliber
Starting point is 00:26:43 tight end in the draft? I mean, there are plenty of starting caliber tight ends in the draft. It just now becomes how much do you want to try and manipulate the draft board to make sure that you get the guy that you like, right? Because most mock drafts have the top two players, Tyler Warren from Penn State,
Starting point is 00:27:02 Colston Loveham from Michigan, going in the top. we'll say 23 to 25. You know, that would be, that would mean likely a trade up for the Eagles. If not, then like the Goddard situation in 2017 or in 2018, you would need to have, you know, facilitate some kind of a short tradeback. And then that's when you're in like Elijah Arroyo territory, you know, middle of second round.
Starting point is 00:27:23 It seems to be that's where most people feel he's going to go. So I think at the end of the day, you know, how, how he plays the draft board, you know, Mason Taylor from LSU is another player that has talked about in that way. So, yeah, there are going to be options. Scott Leffler, the Eagles new quarterbacks coach came from Bowling Green. Their top tight end, Harold Fanon Jr. He is also in this draft class in a likely day two pick. So I think when you're looking at the options, there are going to be guys available.
Starting point is 00:27:52 So it's going to come down to how do they feel about it? And that's why I felt initially that a move wouldn't be made with Dallas until we got to the draft, just because then that way you would, ascertain the type of player that you're able to get. But I mean, I'm with ZB. It definitely seems like it's leaning more towards he's not here than he's coming back in Eagles Green. That also works both ways, waiting until the draft, because it's not just the Eagles
Starting point is 00:28:16 know. It's also the teams who might be interested know whether they get a tight end or not. And so maybe that, maybe given the fact that everybody is expecting this to be such a good tight end class, maybe that's the resolution. We get this on draft weekend. Yeah, and the other point there, too, is, like, the Eagles probably won't be on the field until after, like, you know, the offseason workout begins in mid-April. But they're actually not on the field together until after the draft. So if they make a trade after the draft, there's no material effect on, like, practices or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Super chat from Cloud. It says, what do you think the holdup is on Aziz-Ojolari, 24 years old, 22 sacks in four years, injury, history, but you'd think someone would have picked him up. What's going on there, Zach? Any ideas? Well, this is a classic case. It's a generic answer, but you can say it every year when there's a good pre-agent lingering is that the value for himself is different than the value that the league has a met, right? And it's why, you know, when contract offers come quickly, players take those offers. A lot of people don't have the luxury of being Aaron Rogers and kind of like dragging on the process, right? So, my...
Starting point is 00:29:31 My guess is, OZiz O'Jolari has a number in mind that teams aren't looking to hit right now. Dinkleberg with the Super Chance says, I expected the Eagles to mostly sign players to compete for starting jobs or even roster spots, but I thought they'd make a little splash or two. Their interest in Justin Reed indicates they're open to it. And if you didn't see this, Justin Reed, who signed with the Saints, also said at his introductory press conference, in addition to the reporting that was done, that the Eagles were one of the teams who he was considering signing with, which I do find interesting, Zach. I've found that very interesting.
Starting point is 00:30:04 And again, I don't know what the number is, but yeah, I mean, that shows you that they'll spend on a player that really interests them. Now, there's been a lot of messaging, especially like the national media, about the amount of draft picks that the Eagles have during these next two years, right? And those draft picks include four compensatory picks expected. So, you know, if you're counting for 20 picks, that there's four compensatory picks expected in there, right? So that would lead me to believe that they are playing the compic game, especially this year. And from the Fresh Prince with the Super Chat says,
Starting point is 00:30:47 I can't believe Zach Red Bow's IKTR text message on air. Was that on the record, Bo? Of course not. I will be filing suit against that. No, of course. Of course, that's okay. I think if I would have done the same thing, it would have been on, it would have been kosher as well. KTR. I missed a handful of text in that last segment during that last segment. I missed a handful of text during that last segment because I don't have the dings up. Yeah. I mean, I, I, I, you're in the middle of a show. You can't have the dings going. I get it. I get it. I get it. Okay. You want to read those texts down there?
Starting point is 00:31:32 Definitely not. Definitely not. All right, Fran, we have surveyed the contracts that have been signed this week. We've all got three or four that we think would have potentially made sense for the Eagles. If knowing now, in retrospect, the kinds of ponds they're fishing in, who was the first one who comes to mind for you? Yeah, I mean, the first one, honestly, is a familiar face. and that is the contract for Isaiah Rogers going to Minnesota Vikings. Two for $11 million.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Obviously, this is not something that would have impacted the compic formula. It's middle of the road. It's in that $4 million bucket, two for 11. So it's five and a half. And when I look at who are some of the other corners that are making that, I think that that's right in line with how I kind of view Isaiah Rogers. And there's honestly, there's a lot of players in that bracket that I would say, like, yeah, like that's a superior player.
Starting point is 00:32:28 And so when I look at what he got, I was a little surprised that the Eagles weren't in on that. That was one that I looked at and said, I would have thought at that number, at that price point, he would have come back to with an opportunity to compete for a starting role. I'm with you. That was on my list as well.
Starting point is 00:32:45 And you just think about like the right level of player to have as a competitor for Kili Ringo. It's the perfect level of competition. Hey, Keeley, you just couldn't quite be. him out last year, can you beat him out this year? And if not, you're getting the reliability that he gave you this year and like the known quantity, the known commodity because it was in this defense. I think it is, I think it is reasonable to be a little bit surprised that they didn't go after that one. And we will see what they do at that corner elsewhere. But, you know,
Starting point is 00:33:17 no disrespect to Adori Jackson. I would be, I would be disappointed as an Eagles fan if that was all they did at that position. Yeah, I look at this. I'm not surprised when it's at that number. I would have kept Isaiah Rogers. I did not think Isaiah Rogers was getting $8 million guaranteed. Good for Isaiah Rogers. Credit to him. If you're paying someone $8 million guaranteed,
Starting point is 00:33:38 my guess is you're expecting him to be the starting corner, right? And so you're saying you can still have this earnest competition. I think Rogers would be the heavy favorite if they're guaranteeing him $8 million next season, basically. I don't think they want to block Keelearingo. So I know once you're on the field, the contract doesn't matter. But from the way that you kind of navigate in March is that if you're guaranteeing a corner $8 million, you're probably expecting him to be one of your top three corners. Yeah, I think you could also, if you were trying to rationalize it, you say, well, he's making $8 billion, but our entire cornerbacker room is making $11 million, right?
Starting point is 00:34:18 Or whatever that number is. And it's reasonable there. And you know what? I do like, you need four corners. You can't rely on all three guys to stay healthy. So they are going to have to bring in some fortification at some point. Who's the first one on your list? And to your point, by the way, they pay James Bradbury a lot more money than that last year, not to play football, right?
Starting point is 00:34:39 So you can't always look at it just in terms of the money equals the role. Yes, they could have saved cash, but anyway, go ahead. I have three players on my list, but I'll stay with the Rogers team of a player. Go one at a time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying. So staying on the Rogers team of an internal player who they let leave, I'm going with Orrin Berks. Because that contract I found to be, like he received $750,000 guaranteed,
Starting point is 00:35:09 which is they're paying Josh Uchay, you know, more than that, guaranteed. Orrin Berks, I know he's 30 years old. You don't necessarily want to block Jeremiah Trott, Jr. Like even if he doesn't block Jeremiah Trott, Jr., I think. like worst case scenario, he's a special teams player for you. He is someone who you saw can step in in spot starting duty if Trotter's not the player that they hope he is next year. I just think like at that salary, it just made, you know, I, yeah, you know, I know, I, I know,
Starting point is 00:35:48 I know it's a two-year, $5 million contract, but I think it's, it's 750,000 guaranteed, right? So you're not, yeah, that surprised me. I agree with you. I am surprised, especially since I don't, like, the linebacker market has really thinned out. So it's not like they're going to sign somebody else at that level, given how well and capably he filled in for NCOBD. I am a little bit surprised that they didn't go for that one. It might be term there, right? They might have wanted to stick to one-year deals.
Starting point is 00:36:23 And even though you can get out of a deal after one year, he might have wanted to, term on the deal, right? So you're kind of comparing apples to apples and the negotiation process. The Eagles haven't gone beyond one year yet this offseason. But that's that's one I would have done. Fair enough. All right, I'll give you my first one. This will not be a major surprise. Joe Tryon. Joe Tryon. Joe Try on. Shriyanka. One year, four and a half million dollars with the Cleveland Browns, which is more than they have spent on anybody. But the 26-year-old who has some pass-rushed upside and gives you the coverage flexibility. I am just, I understand that Josh Ushay is an opportunity to buy low. And if you think about what he would have gone for last year, and by the way,
Starting point is 00:37:11 there was that very funny thing last year where all the reports were that he gave up like $10 million to stay with the Patriots. I don't think that that's true. But I think it's a better chance to get an ascending player for a not crazy amount of money. That's, my guy on the edge. Yeah, I think when he also fits you know, the round one pedigree, right? Like there were definitely there that would have made sense. It just obviously the price point a little bit different than what they give, but you're you're paying for that. And who was a better player? I mean, Joe Tryon is not a, you know, he would have cashed out if he was a better player. But I think he's, he definitely offers more upside than, uh, than what you're
Starting point is 00:37:52 getting with Ushay. It just, it makes me think that the theory you guys had yesterday on UJ might be, there might be some validity to that, that the versatility that he provides maybe in a stand-up role or playing off the ball could be something that intrigues him. Because I agree, like in a vacuum, I would much rather Joe Try on, even at that salary. Even the extra $2 billion that you're spending, to me, is worth it there. But maybe it just makes you a little bit crunched enough that it bothers them. And if you're thinking about compics, by the way, because there's some of the, there might be someone in the chat saying that.
Starting point is 00:38:30 Once Isaiah Rogers signed for what he did, if you're operating under the assumption that Mackay Beckton's leaving and is going to get paid like the compick number, then you can sign one guy who cancels out, Isaiah Rogers, and you still end up with four compics, right? I think that's the fourth. Oh, that's the fourth.
Starting point is 00:38:46 And you end up with three. Milton and Joshua Beckton and Rogers. Okay, fair enough. Now, somebody was asking about this, I think, in one of the comments. It is net signings who qualify for the compact, but it is only up like you only qualify for the compact formula if you are above a certain level, which projections expect to be about $5 billion. So anybody you sign for cheaper than that is not going to qualify.
Starting point is 00:39:10 Some super chats. Medeos. We have Eagles news. We do. We do. Per Diana Rossini. The Eagles are signing kick return, punt return, Avery Williams to a one-year deal per source. Three minutes ago from Diana Rossini.
Starting point is 00:39:24 I missed it. I didn't have my, you know, I didn't have my thing up. I didn't have my thing zone. Avery Williams. Avery Williams, who is... I don't know anything about him. He's a running back from the Falcons. He was a fifth round pick in 2021,
Starting point is 00:39:39 mainly known as a return guy in the NFL. You think this means the end of Britain Covey? Yeah, it could be. Another one that hurts my flu-world order. I'll see. Yeah, I know he got hurt a couple years ago, but real quickly, I mean... He entered the league as a corner.
Starting point is 00:40:01 And then he is excited. He hasn't played a regular season game since 2022. Right. No, he played last year with the Falcons. Oh, he did. He hasn't played on offense since 25. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He isn't registered.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Yeah, no, last year he had, let's see, he had 20, or he had 20 returns on punts for 185 yards. That's a 9.3 average. So I had him graded. 15 kick returns for 408 yards. Okay. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah, I graded him with the corner coming. out of Boise. I mean, 5-8, 187, he ran 4-4-flat at the combine, had a four-second flat short shuttle
Starting point is 00:40:37 outstanding times across the board there. The top-end speed showed up, and he was always around the football. Great punt returner and also not even just return man, but also a bunch of a bunch of blocked kicks as well. So this was a guy that he blocked three punts, one field goal, and one extra point, had a forced fumble on kickoff coverage. So this was a guy that was very much present on special teams. I actually thought that he was. I don't think it was a bad corner prospect. So I was surprised that he got moved promptly to the offensive side of the ball.
Starting point is 00:41:10 But there you go. A guy that could be a core special teams type of player. Also something to keep in mind, too. I'm not at the owner's meetings in three weeks from now, the league is going to vote on kickoffs. and the touchback could be moved to the 35, which could make kickoff returns even more valuable next year in that case, because teams might try to have you. So one thing you've been hearing is that teams might place more of a premium on kickoff returners this off season. I know I'm not the first person to say this,
Starting point is 00:41:46 but I do not understand why they would move the touchback up and not just move the kick further back. That's a good point. I think because I think they're trying to incentivize teams to drop the kick in the landing zone, right, as opposed to just kicking it out of the end zone. I think even if you pushed it back, teams, the kickers can still kick it out of the end zone. The goal is like to make the kickoff a play. And so to have the kicker or the punter put it in the landing zone. It would be hilarious. Like to see how far back they could move it before people would be happy.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Like they're moving it to the 20 yard line. And just see, can you reach the end zone, ready yards away? Ran a 4-4-3 at his pro day, Avery Williams. There you go. Now, not to be confused, Zach, with the former Duke point card. William Avery? Yes. I was not confusing him with William Avery.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Do you know where William Avery went to high school? Deering. No, the O'Kill Academy. if memory serves. Okay. All right, let's take it. Go ahead, Fran. I want to know an Eagles link for Avery Williams for me.
Starting point is 00:43:04 The first person that ever put him on my radar at the 2018 Combine, former Eagles wide receiver, future Eagles wide receiver, Keishon Johnson. Really? Some Mountain Westlove. Wow. All right. Let's take a quick break on the other side. going to hear some super chats and the other players we think the Eagles might have gone after.

Medillo says, are there any virtual seats for the Fran Duffy film review? I could donate $75 and live in Washington State. That's a good question. You'll have to take it up with Vince.
Starting point is 00:46:08 Yeah, Vince is watching. Yeah, Vince will be the guy for that. Speaking of Vince, he has a super chat of his own. He says, would you bring back James Bradbury at the veteran minimum leadership, safety, veteran leadership, or is his time here done, Zach? I think James is ready to move on. Yeah, I think James doesn't want to be the leadership guy. I think he wants a chance to play football next year.
Starting point is 00:46:33 Yeah, I think these two sides are at the end of their marriage. Roheed says, will the Goddard situation drag on through the draft? I think there's a chance that it could. And then finally, Sebastian says, thanks to Bo for the amazing cameo for my son, Jack. I think Zach was in there as well. You made a 12-year-old dude from Montreal super happy, and I just became a sicko today. Great deal.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Well, thank you very much, Sebastian. Say how to Jack Force. And I believe, I hope, let me know. I did, I believe, I sent something to Jack in the mail. I hope that that arrived. Got through, got through customs, I hope. That's awesome. There you go.
Starting point is 00:47:15 And I appreciate, I assume he meant he became a diehard today. If he was getting a cameo, I imagine he's been a sicko for a while, but I assume he became a diehard today. And there you go. The introductory offer, which ends today. So, like, the last day you're going to get this $36 a year deal, $3 a month, $0.75 a week is today. And, like, I don't know what you're waiting for at this point. Fran Duffy has the best draft coverage you can find anywhere.
Starting point is 00:47:45 The Die Hard draft guide, Fran Duffy Die Hard Draft Guide, is updated constantly. it's the only draft guide you'll find that's kind of updated constantly. All the, you know, we talk about the vertical board, the horizontal board, and not just that. So that alone is a steal at $36. But if you want to know what's going on with the Flyers right now, Charlie O'Connor's coverage is outstanding. The Sixers are entering a very weird offseason. You're not going to find better. Look, if you want to get ready for the NBA draft, Derek Bonner will have you ready for the NBA draft.
Starting point is 00:48:15 Kyle Neuback has everything that's going on with the Sixers. You know, Bo and I have the Eagles covered. Jim Salisbury is an affiliate and icon in this market writing about the Phillies for us. So the place to come is all p.hly.com. It also comes with a shirt, access to our Discord. Like, honestly, I respect everyone how you spend your money, but this is a steal at that price. Is my Wi-Fi cutting out for you guys? No.
Starting point is 00:48:46 Your camera went black for like a split second a couple times, but the signal otherwise looks fine. Who's next on your list, friend? All right. So I have two DBs left. I'll go with the one that I think would probably, that I was probably more surprised by. And that's Derek Forrest. This is formerly of the Washington commanders.
Starting point is 00:49:08 He went for $1.3 million, which obviously is not much at all with the Buffalo Bills. And the reason I say that, look, Forrest came into the league out of Cincinnati, and he was able to find some early success playing for Ron Rivera and the Washington commanders. then the new scheme comes in, the new coaching staff comes in, and he goes from being a starter to being a backup.
Starting point is 00:49:30 And so obviously he's looking for more opportunity. That would be a swing that I'd be willing to take just because he, I mean, he had some really productive stretches there as a starter for Washington. So at that price point, I was surprised that he didn't get a little bit more. At 1.3 million, I would have sniffed around at that. No thought, sec. Sorry. Oh, sorry.
Starting point is 00:49:52 Yeah, sorry about that. Yeah, Derek Forrest is an interesting one, too. He was on my list of other considerations, but I thought he was decent with the commanders. And I was surprised that that's not a market that they swam in considering they need a safety. My safety I'll give you was Jalen Hawkins with the New England Patriots, who signed for one for just over $2 million, not all of it guaranteed. Another young player who had kicked around the league a little bit, but gave them good third safety snaps this year and is a good special teams player. This is not one where I'm going to do the sack pound the table for him, but a young player who has a chance to ascend and gives you a baseline of playable competence at the position.
Starting point is 00:50:46 That's a good one there. Mine is a safety cornerback hybrid. You can even say safety quarterback hybrid. I'm sorry, safety cornerback linebacker hybrid, right? I mean, Fran Duffy a favorite come out of the draft. This guy is, is positionless in a positive way. We'll change from positionless to multi-positional.
Starting point is 00:51:07 But that is, if he, it is, it's, it's, it's Melofonwu. If he had to Milafonwu. It fought to Melifonvonvu. Fattu Milafonmu, yes. He was third on my list as well. Yeah, he's someone who, who I kind of earmarked going in there. free agency is someone's going to get to steal with him because I picked a bad year to get hurt, although he's been hurt most of his NFL career it seems, but last year going in to free agency.
Starting point is 00:51:32 When the Lions traded CJ Garner Johnson, one of the things you heard is like they want to get Mel Fonimo on the, I'm sorry, not traded C.J. Garner Johnson. Let C.J. Garno Johnson go is that Mel Fonwu was going to play more, right? They used him in a variety of roles. He was a third round pick out of Syracuse. He was a corner at Syracuse and a good corner at Syracuse, like six three. long, runs decently. The Lions have moved them to safety, but they've used him in kind of this like Joker role.
Starting point is 00:51:59 And I think given that the Eagles have multiple needs, and just given the athletic skill set, he signed a one year $4 million contract with the Miami Dolphins. That's a player at that price point. I definitely would have pursued. It's a good one. And yeah, the flexibility there is nice because it allows you to backfill based on however the draft comes.
Starting point is 00:52:21 That's a good one. All right. Who's your last one, Fran? It was Melifanwu. And so, yeah, I agree with a lot of what Zach said. Obviously, he went for a little bit more than what I bought it with Forrest. He went for $3 million. But he is one that I would say is when I was looking at some of the one-year deal,
Starting point is 00:52:39 some of the lower-level contracts of guys I felt like, oh, yeah, like this guy, you could get a lot of value here for one year. Melafanwu was the name that kind of stuck out like a store, a sore thumb for me. I evaluated him as a corner, and I was pretty high on him as a corner when he was coming out. And I know he's kind of morphed into this specialty matchup player as a safety. But, you know, the injuries have kind of taken their toll. We'll see what he can do this year in Miami. I don't know what in the world is going on with the Levi-on-Wuzer-Ricke contract.
Starting point is 00:53:10 One year, $4 million. I'm staying away from that one because there's like there must be something else going on there. It's very odd. The only one I was going to mention is this is, this is a. higher price point, and I think we have learned the Eagles were probably not waiting in these waters, but from the buying a guy a year after and a chance to potentially cash in on the surplus value, the Malcolm Coon's deal of just one year for $12 million to me would have fit both the short-term need, the potential upside, and the price is not too exorbitant that I think
Starting point is 00:53:45 if they were in a slightly different situation, that is one that they might have been interested that's a good one there too you're looking at the edge rush you need uh yeah i i wonder if they were worried at all about the edge rush market after paying bryce huff last year you know i i i wonder if i mean i don't want to say it's like safety a few years ago but if they're kind of like resetting their internal evaluations uh with um you know with vangio and like all right what is that we're looking for from a free agent and and what are we going to pay for i'm i'm curious if there's no one of that. It's also interesting because the Bryce Huff situation is odd
Starting point is 00:54:25 because you would think that defensive line in particular is the easiest position to project from one team to another, right? Like how was this guy going to fit in our scheme and our culture? All of those things are difficult, but it's the one position where there is probably less of that, I think, probably than anywhere else. That's a good point. No, edge rusher because of like what, you know, how he expects his guys to drop.
Starting point is 00:54:56 Although that can't be a factor, you know, like if you can get to the quarterback, you can get the quarterback, but you're rushing from different alignments too. So that's something to keep in mind. You know, I do think, or something I was about to say that it'll trace back in a bit. All good. Some super chats. March just shouting us out with the, we love those freebies. Vince says we are working on making the film session available as a diehard only video.
Starting point is 00:55:25 So there you go. More bank for the buck for the diehards. Now, Andrew, this is going to be a question for Vince. He says, how many diehard deals do you guys need to promote before the rest of us long time full price loyalists start to feel dumb? Here's some more money. Yeah, I'll jump in for Vince here. Look, I understand where you're coming. We love you the most.
Starting point is 00:55:47 I think that's fair to say. I mean, this is, look, this is the, I mean, we can have a long conversation about the subscription model. Our hope is, honestly, that we get a lot of people into the door. They see the value in their subscriptions, and then they keep their subscriptions because we're providing premium content, right? So it's a way, you know, we so appreciate the loyalists and the people who are with us, especially from day one and month one, and however, however, it,
Starting point is 00:56:15 it may be, but this is a common thing you see in sales where what you're trying, you're trying to get people into the door, and then they'll see the quality product that we provide, and they'll stay in there because I do think we provide a quality product. But Andrew, we do love you more. I think that's fair to say. Sebastian is back. He says, yes, they did get the special out on the mail. Tariffs weren't too bad on it.
Starting point is 00:56:39 Thanks again, guys. Listen to you guys, nightly, along with my two boys, Jack and Max. Shout out to Jack and Max. Shout out to them. And then Mikey Fazed says, Bo plays the Joker role on this show. We love it. I don't know what that's in referring that reference to,
Starting point is 00:56:54 but I'll take it. I was in reference to Zach saying that Malofanu plays the Joker role in that defense. So I was going to say that Jordan Schultz from Fox Sports had a report out today that the Eagles are making Dallas Goddron and Bryce Huff available for trade. And because when we were talking about Bryce Huff, that came to mind. And, like, you know, I'm not going to criticize his report because he's appealing to a national audience. People who don't watch a daily show might not realize that Eagles prized free agent signing last year from dollars is available via trade,
Starting point is 00:57:28 that there's tight ends available to be a trade. But typically when word like that is put out by national reporters, it is to try to drum interest around the league. Right. Or that's to send a message to the player, like, hey, go try to see if you can find a better opportunity somewhere else. there you go. Fran, what got going on this weekend? I was going to get my third player. I didn't give my third player. Oh, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:57:51 Go ahead. Okay. Sorry. I was a little excited about giving you that. Yeah, let's hear it. So this is Neville, Gowalmore. Oh, yeah, I looked at him as well. Yeah, defense of tackle.
Starting point is 00:58:03 He went from the ramps to the Colts. The last time we saw him was on the field in the snow. He had a safety against the Eagles. He had two and a half sacks in the postseason. He signed with the Colts for one year. 1.27 million 400,000 guaranteed. So small contract, relatively speaking. And I figured that's a player that could help your defensive line rotation.
Starting point is 00:58:25 Thanks for watching on fast. Check out the rest of the episode on all p.gloy.com. Neville Gallimore, another pre-draft friend of his favorite, I believe. Yeah, I was high on him in Oklahoma. That was a player that I was expecting to outperform his draft slot. He went a little bit later in the draft and I thought he would. It's the Dallas Cowboys. Had a solid career.
Starting point is 00:58:43 So far, he's been a nice rotational player. I was expecting more of an impact three down guy, but yeah, he was definitely a pre-draft favorite for me. Idiot Sandwich says the best subscription is the diehard subscription. And even if the YouTube and pod content is open to non-diehards, the subscription is an investment to keep PHLY humming along. And boy, do I know that's right. So listen, we did what? 13 podcasts this week? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Yeah, I appreciate. Rub our back, you know, just a little, a little tip for tat. No big deal. Comment below, like the video, subscribe, all that stuff. Let Zach sleep at night, please. I truly appreciate the first comment where he said it's a no-brainer since day one when the lineup of talents announced. That lineup of talents has only, you know, we've added to it, obviously, with Fran. And I appreciate that sentiment because,
Starting point is 00:59:43 to me, like the secret sauce here is the people, it's like the quality of people we have covering the teams and working behind the scenes. And, you know, I think in all industries, a talent is the differentiator. You can talk about your business model. You can talk about your technology, whatever it may be, but ultimately it's about the talent.
Starting point is 01:00:07 And, you know, I think we have real good talent covering the teams here in Philly and doing shows all around. right for any way you're doing this weekend uh we've got one of my uh one of my college roommates coming into town him his wife uh and his son are coming down so they're spending the weekend uh checking out the flyers tomorrow night uh doing a little uh stuff around the suburbs tomorrow during the day uh so yeah it'll be fun coming out coming down from new hampshire so they're making the ride they actually should have left by now so they should be en route was he working on the football team with you uh he was yeah yeah
Starting point is 01:00:43 He was, he was, he was, I hired him and then a spot, oh, we were the same age. So he, a spot opened up in his, so I moved in. And yeah, we've been one of my best friends. Fantastic. Zach, how about you? Emily and my kids are going to Florida to visit my in-laws. So I am working this weekend. I have a long, well, it's a short to-do list.
Starting point is 01:01:13 But it takes a lot of work to do. But there's, there's, it depends on how you're measuring it by task or by word count. Yeah, yeah. There's only one thing on my to-do list this weekend, but it is going to take about, I am allocating 26 combined hours over the net, over Saturday and Sunday on this task. So I will be 13 hours a day. That's how I got the 26. So yeah, I'm excited. Well, I need to be efficient this weekend.
Starting point is 01:01:47 It is, I'm very sorry to see Emily and my kids leave because I'm going to miss them. But for my production, it might be beneficial. Great question for Mitya sandwich, Super Chat, Zach. What's the first cheat meal with the empty nest, CP? Yeah, probably Johnny's pizza nearby here. They have a great cheese steak. So probably that because I promise you I'm not eating cheese steaks and pizza when Emily and I are sitting down for dinner during the week. So, yeah, that is probably what I will do.
Starting point is 01:02:25 And it will be on Sunday night if I fulfill the work responsibilities that I have allocated for myself. That's a good light at the end of that. Yeah, exactly. And then probably I'll go to Rita's, get some water ice. Oh, you'll do your sneaky bike ride. Yeah, exactly. Maddio says, I'm an early diehard, didn't cancel to grab the reduced deal and not going to whine about it. That's nice.
Starting point is 01:02:54 But listen, I don't mind the whining. I think that's totally fair. But we're happy to have all of you. We do love the originalists more. But what do you got this weekend? Oh, we got to get this house ready for this baby that's coming. You don't see the rest of the room I'm in right now, but we pulled out all of the, like, baby stuff from our, like, storage room that, you know, we'd been saving. And we got, we got a lot to go through here.
Starting point is 01:03:25 Is that what's in the room behind you? Like, everyone wants to know what's behind the door. No, that door is a smaller little closet. There's one room that is like the crap room. That was. Yes. Yeah. So it's deep and dark in there.
Starting point is 01:03:41 It's really ugly. It's a tough scene. But there you go. As Julia mentioned in the chat, everyone has a crap room, which that was this room until I started working out of it every day. There you go. All right, Zach, I feel like the longer we keep you, the less. No, I'm enjoying this. I, I, you know, the worst part of the weekends is I don't get to talk to you guys for an hour a day.
Starting point is 01:04:09 Right? So we can arrange that. I don't think you'd be happy. I enjoy doing the shows, especially remote. Yeah. All right. Well, I guess it'll do it for the PHA Y Eagles podcast. Thank you to Fran and Zach.
Starting point is 01:04:25 Thank you to all of the viewers and listeners in the chat. We are back on Monday. A very exciting show on Monday. I will save the tease, but it's going to be a forehander, something we haven't done before. What? A forehander? Yeah, you never heard that.
Starting point is 01:04:48 A two-hander is like, you know, it's like starring two people. So it's going to be a four-hander. Yeah, I've heard that. All right. Sorry. Eight hands will be on set. I mean, there will be eight hands, but. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 01:05:07 It's not a, that's not a, that's not something I just made up. Okay. Okay. Yeah, that's. Sorry about that. Friend, what did you think of the Hooters episode yesterday? Much like the chat. There was a couple good ones today.
Starting point is 01:05:40 When we were talking about, when Zach was talking about what he was doing this weekend, Grandpa will be at the casino. That was my favorite takeaway. It was how much your grandfather loves Park Casino. Actually, I've been meeting to ask about this second, Because isn't your grandfather also the one who told you they didn't build all these casinos by people winning money? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:04 He's good at it, though. Right? And he doesn't play. Yeah, he's good at it. What's his game of choice? I don't want to speak on his behalf. But yeah, he's a sharp one. That's for sure.
Starting point is 01:06:19 I can promise you that. I believe it. All right. It'll do it for this episode. of the PHY Eagles podcast, just a classic three-hander on this one. We will talk to you on Monday. Thanks for watching.
Starting point is 01:06:33 Make sure that you become a diehard. Last chance to get in under the horn on that $36 a year deal. And for all of us here at PHOI, as always, we love you. And Rick Levato was the Eagles long-stopper. Like the mayor.
