Oh, no. Why? Where's this going? Because we're going to be watching Diamondbacks postseason base. Oh, yeah. Those were my plans. We are going to the motherfucking yops. I have never in my life been so confident that that's going to happen.

I know people listening. to this are probably going to think that I have lost my God damn mind. But Rock, today I saw the vision. I have been wrong this whole time. I have said time and time again that the Phillies were going to be the team, that we're going to fade. Of course, I'm not a genius. I can't tell the future. I was wrong about that. Today I saw that the baseball gods are going to do everything, everything in their power to hold back the San Diego Padres and the Diamondbacks are going to walk into the third spot. It's not even going to be a battle.

I don't even think that that final series of the year is even going to matter now at this point. I feel like the baseball gods are solely focused on smiting just the San Diego Padres. I know other fans might feel differently, but somewhat fan-based they are a part of, but if you are a Padres fan listening to this, which I don't know why you would be, there is no way you are going to argue with what we saw today during that game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

And how it's just, it's over for your ball club. Do they give assists for what happened today? Like, does Samas Taylor get an assist for that? the man grabbed a ball that would have been a double at best and carried it over the wall for a game-tying

home run? Yeah. Yeah. I don't even know what to say. I haven't seen that. That's a new way for a home run to happen. Look, I've felt at times that the baseball gods were in fact very upset with the Diamondbacks and I still have times where I feel that you know but I I could never imagine

in my lifetime watching my baseball team do what happened in that game and then lose it and then ever rock ever want to watch the sport ever again ever ever want to wear a jersey ever want to attend a game. I would just be done with the game of baseball as a whole collectively if I was a Padres fan after viewing what I saw today. And I hope that that fan base

for that ringless bum of a franchise is fucking killing that way. All the smoke for the Padres. San Diego doesn't even deserve it. You know, San Diego's a beautiful city. It is a beautiful city. The weather's great.

one of my favorites stadium. I just don't want them competing with my baseball team, and I'm fucking sick of it. I have had it with the Padres year after year going on the same kind of amazing stretch that the Diamondbacks do at the same time as the Diamondbacks, getting hot as the same time as the Diamondbacks, having the Debacks having to look over and, hey, we won eight in a row.

Oh, the Padres won nine in a row. No, fuck you. Fuck you and fuck your franchise And I today saw the vision That the baseball gods agree with me They're like you know what? We've had enough of the Padres Where this is this is it for them Could I be wrong? Probably

You know I don't know what the baseball gods are really doing But I don't know man I just feel I feel like I just feel like what I saw today is one of those moments that you're like I don't know how you just get past that loss. And that's that, that couldn't happen at a better time

considering how much we need that particular team to lose some baseball games. We have a tough series here starting on Monday. You are not lying. We have the return of Cotel Marte. That's going to be emotional. Massive. Massive. Massive. Yes. Difficult.

You know. I hope not. I really hope it's not difficult. and I hope. My hope is that the man's going to come back out there and play second base and whatever happens between him and his teammates in the clubhouse needs to stay there. I don't want to hear nobody talking about it. I don't want to hear none of it. I don't want to hear none of it. There was a meeting. Yes, there was a meeting. Yes, there was. Yeah. Herardo Perdomo was there. Corbyn was there. And it kind of sounds like, yeah, I mean, yeah, there's guys that are pissed. But I mean,

that from what I read from the tweet from Bikoro was that they all know that they are in a position to win and they are in a much better position to win with Cotel Marte. Now, take that, take that, you know, as you will. That doesn't mean it's going to be all high fives and hugs when he comes back in there because there's some guys that are probably going to be a little cold to him. And I mean, rightfully so. But whatever, like, whatever issues, I hope they stay in the clubhouse. Like, I don't need this team talking about this shit as we're trying to beat the Phillies.

and then going on to the next series and trying to win that series, baseball needs to be all the Diamondbacks are focused on right now is fucking baseball. That's it. That's it. And that's the mature adult decision, right? That's the problem with what Ketel did,

is Ketel did not act maturely and did not make adult decisions. But in this 45-minute meeting, when you have the veterans from this team and the guys who are the difference makers, the stars, leaders of this team. The guys that wear the sea on their chest, whether it's Perdomo that does it actively and wants that responsibility or it's guys like Corby and Carol that do it through

his performance and not really are a vocal leader. Yet he's still their MLBPA guy, which says something about him being a leader of this team. And you have Nolan Aronado, obviously, who is a veteran and one of the greatest players to ever play the game, along with Eduardo Rodriguez, who again, is one of those guys that is a leader in the clubhouse. I've seen that time and time again with how the rest of the pitching staff and other guys flock to him. And you could just tell Eduardo Rodriguez holds a certain regard in that clubhouse. But the conclusion here was that this group wants to win.

And regardless of how people's personal feelings are about what Marte's recent decisions were, that Catele-Marté gives this team the best chance to do that. That is a mature adult decision, and that is the best way for this franchise to move forward. Because Catele-Marte is far too valuable for you to want to dump him right now, like so many fans carelessly want to do. He's under contract till 2030. He's not going anywhere.

It's insane. It's insane. And I know that like the vocal minority or whatever you want to call it on social media can be even smaller than you think. But they're very loud. They respond to all my tweets, Rock. They live in my head sometimes. And it's like I just I don't respond to a dumb ass thing when someone says, DFA Marte. I'm like, that's just the dumbest shit that I could ever imagine someone actually believing we should do.

Yeah, because you want to hear the outside media shit on the Diamondbacks? Let them DFA can tell Marte. Then you're really going to see motherfucker shitting on the Diamondbacks. Because that would be the dumbest in history. I almost believe these people are just fans for other teams that are masquerading as Diamondbacks fans. I mean, that wouldn't surprise me. Yeah, we should DFA Marte. You're like, you're a Yankees fan.

At the same time, they're like, yeah, trade them to the Yankees. Exactly. They would take them in a heartbeat. 29 other teams would take that man in a heartbeat. Beat! Yes. You're a goddamn fool if you think otherwise. Even with all of this, even with all of this.

And here's the thing is that this is a clubhouse that doesn't typically have a lot of problems. No, they're quiet. They keep a lot of shit in-house as much as they possibly can. And unfortunately, it's always that could tell shit that is the stuff that gets out. Right, right. You know, which that says a lot of an example, but we don't need to get into that. I don't know. I don't know if it's intentional or what it is, but, you know, it doesn't matter because I think that when I talk about the baseball gods, the one thing here is that the baseball gods have nothing to do with Catea, right? And when the baseball gods look down on this franchise and see everything they've gone through and they see that this, you know, that their All-Star is now, you know, part of the problem and not part of the solution as far as helping them win. 26. I can't help but feel like deep down inside at a very high religious level, you know,

that the baseball gods were like, we need to counsel. We got to do something for Arizona. This is, it's bullshit, right? Everybody agrees it's bullshit. The other baseball gods are like, yeah, it's bullshit. There's one guy's like, I don't know. It's always fucking funny to see Arizona's struggle, isn't it? The guys are like, yeah, but come on, this time, we made every pitcher and their staff injured. Let's come on. Let's help them out a little bit. And that's why I believe that they're like, you know what we could do?

We could just fuck with the Padres, right? Like, we could leave Arizona alone for a little while and just fuck with the Padres, right? They're like, yeah. Especially at a time when like it's so positive for the Padres with their new ownership route coming in there. And there's a lot of like, a lot of guaranteeing, winning and stuff. That's

what I'm talking about. Like baseball God, they don't love that. The Council of the Baseball gods do not love. The Council of You come in talking about how we're going to win, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's like the baseball Illuminati. Yeah, they don't like that shit. Like from the multiverse. They're like, calm down.

We're the ones that actually control who wins and loses up here, not you and your players down there. Hey, I'll tell you this much. It has been exciting to follow the Reno Aces social media pages and seeing our guy, Loris Gurion is rehab assignment. Our guy, Corbyn, Burns, what a rehab start. Our guy, Zach Allen, what a rehab start. one after another baby yeah and uh you had corbin burns going two winning scoreless uh hitless six up six down and zach gallon was starting tonight i don't know how he did yet but i hope that zach gallon had himself a good debut there for the aases honestly i know there's so many people that are again reacting in a similar way to zach gallon as they are to tell marty right just a guy that fucking absolutely helped this team go all the way to the world series a guy that's that has shoved for so many years,

have been just such a quality pitcher. And it's like now that he's struggling, now that things are hard for him, eh, get this bum off my team, right? Like, it's ridiculous. But it's sports. It's sports. It's what have you done for me lately?

And Gallen, unfortunately, has not done a lot to help this team win. But I still, I don't remain hopeful. There's a difference here. I don't remain hopeful, but I do remain like, I want him. bad to come back and and be his, you know, his former self, right? Like, I just want that for him. I want it for him for our team. And I also want it for him on a personal level because I feel like

in a very small sample size, he can prove if he goes out there and somehow is just lights out, let's say, in September, which, again, I want to preface this just so dorks on the internet, that don't fucking think I said that Zach Gallad is going to do this. I don't think he's going to do this, but should he go out there and be awesome for this team again, I think that he will absolutely raise his value for himself

during this off season that is already going to be a mess and already going to be terrible, right? We're lucky if we get baseball next year, right? You have to say it out loud. I did, I did. I'm going to say it, right? But again, don't let Zach hear me say it. But again, this is for the benefit of guys like him.

You know, the hope here is that you can at least do enough. And by doing that, everybody wins. Everybody wins. The Diamondbacks win, the pitching staff wins, Zach wins. They're not going to rely on Zach in the postseason if they do have a healthy Corby, Corbyn Burns, Edward Rodriguez, shoving the way he's been. Brandon fought performing like he's been performing, right? Like that's not going to necessarily be needed.

However, you know, he can definitely help the diamondbacks get across that finish line. And on top of that, he can in a very small amount of time, raise his stock to perhaps get himself his next deal with a team, even if it's just a one year contract. Yeah. That then from that point, if we do have baseball next year when he does play, if he can just, you know, go out there and perform again for that team, then he can get his career back. on track as of now it's it's it's it's rough right it's hard to have the worst era in baseball uh you know among qualified pitchers during any stretch and uh that was that was that was zach for entirely too long this season but i think once again once again once again it's out of our control the baseball gods the council of the baseball gods they've decided rock and i've seen it with my own eyes and i need

no further convincing that the Diamondbacks are going to have them on our side and we're going to make the playoffs. And if people want to make us. What's that? Is that I'm going to be coming in and doing the main show with you guys. No, that's that's completely out of my control because even if I told you not to come, I think you're still going to show up. Yeah, I will be there.
