Starting point is 00:00:10 Ski and welcome in to a surprise emergency podcast right here on PHNX. My name is Derek Montia, occasionally known as your mayor of PHNX. This man next to me is a man that owes somebody an apology around here. It's the vice mayor and known Pavin Smith Hater, the one and only Jesse Friedman. Jesse, they're coming for you in the chat. I just know I know you've been busy doing actual work while I've just been standing here laughing at all of these comments from all. of these wonderful people who are here tonight to talk about this walk-off victory. The Arizona Diamondbacks win their third game in a row, beating the Giants tonight by a score of four to two.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Amazing night from Ryan Nelson, but a really huge pinch hit home run for Pavin Smith. And as R.A. says right here, Pavan Smith confirmed legend status. Pavin, you know, Paveen's career has been interesting, right, in that his career numbers are not, are not particularly good. And it's, it's felt like a lot of times he's the subject of scrutiny around here, right? You know,
Starting point is 00:01:18 he's gotten maybe, you could argue he's gotten a little bit more opportunity than the numbers warranted at various times. But one thing you have to, you have to admit about Pavin Smith is that he has hit some very important and game changing home runs. Like kind of a, kind of a lot of them,
Starting point is 00:01:35 at least I don't have like a list of them in front of me. But it feels like pay vansmith. Smith has had, he's never hit a walkoff homer, but he's had a lot of moments sort of like this where he came through in a spot where the diamondbacks really needed him to. And yeah, that was a, that was a shot, Derek. That was, I know it was 105.7 off the bat, which I was almost surprised by because the sound that it made in this ballpark was what, it was one of the louder home runs that I, that I recall ever hearing off the bat.
Starting point is 00:02:04 And it, it went a very long way. As he described afterward, you never really know. know if the ball is going to get out when you hit it to center fields because the debacks basically have their own version of the green monster out there. But it did just sneak over and into the home run porch and obviously a pretty cool way for this game to end, a game that the Diamondbacks really played well and in all facets all the way through. The Diamondbacks, it felt like they hit rock bottom in that second game against the New York Mets. I don't know if it was the fact that they got so close.
Starting point is 00:02:42 I don't know if it's because of Jordan Montgomery falling apart in the fashion that he did. But it really did feel like we were getting closer and closer to what some people had requested in our chat on several episodes, which was for me to give a time of death on the Arizona Diamondbacks 24 season, which I refused to do. And in fact, I sacrificed my own facial hair before I would give a time of death on this team. But over the last three games, I mean, this team is finding not only ways to score offense at opportune times and get those big hits that they've been seeking all season long.
Starting point is 00:03:21 But this team has been fun to watch over these last three games. Obviously, a lot of it has to do with the late inning heroics. We had Cattell in that finale against the Mets. And tonight we have Pavan with his late inning heroics. But this game really did feel like it was going to kind of slip out of. of the Diamondbacks hands there for a little while. Ryan Nelson pitched a wonderful game. He gave the Diamondbacks a career best for distance.
Starting point is 00:03:48 He went seven and two thirds innings pitched. He gave up just those two earn runs, six hits. He only struck out one, didn't walk anybody. But he gave the Diamondbacks exactly what they needed after a series where the bullpen had been called upon entirely too much. Yeah, and Tori Lavello emphasized that after this game. He talked about how the Diamondbacks, they had several guys who were unavailable in this game. And they're in a pretty long stretch right now where they don't have an off day.
Starting point is 00:04:17 And so getting some length out of Ryan Nelson was really big today. And he, I mean, he delivered as much as you could possibly have hoped for, right? Seven and two thirds innings. No Diamondbacks pitcher entering tonight had even gotten an out in the eighth inning this season. Ryan Nelson gets two of them and arguably could have kept going. He only had 80 pitches, oddly enough, at the end of this outing. Ryan Thompson came in and was able to get those last four outs to win this one. But yeah, he was, he was effective.
Starting point is 00:04:44 I mean, there wasn't a lot of swing and miss as you said, just the just the one strike out. I think he only had four whiffs in this game. But there's something to be said for throwing strikes and really just letting your defense work behind you. And, you know, of all the times that we use that kind of cliche phrase about, you know, letting the defense work. The Diamondbacks defense did some work in this game. I think I can count about six. different plays in this one that you could that you could put on some sort of a highlight reel.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Probably none more important than Christian Walker in the ninth inning turning what looked like an E5 on a Johanio Suarez and you know, a run up what would have scored a run, what would have put the Giants up three to two in the ninth inning. Christian Walker somehow is able to leap and still get the tag down on Jorge Saler and he's and he's ruled out on instant replay. So that was a huge play. Blaze Alexander made some great plays in this game. Jake McCarthy, Lordus Curiel, had a couple of them, probably the best defensive game that we've seen the Diamondbacks play all year.
Starting point is 00:05:43 That play by Christian Walker was incredible. And even he thought so because he was absolutely hilarious, looking like a proud father in the dugout, showing other people his little iPad with, I'm guessing a replay of himself tagging, putting that tag on. He was reenacting it in the whole thing. But rightfully so. It was an incredible play.
Starting point is 00:06:06 that absolutely saved the game, like you said, the giant. You have no idea how the Diamondbacks would have responded by being down three to two in the bottom of the ninth. I mean, it's easy to say, yes, look what Pavin did. This is what would have happened. But we know how they are when they're down. And we know that typically they don't respond well. So we don't know if we would have seen that same response from this team in the bottom of the ninth had they actually been down by a run. But the defense saved them all day to day.
Starting point is 00:06:32 It wasn't just then. And of course, Ryan Nelson continues to lead the teams and double plays behind him. And right now, I mean, this was a huge win, I think. This was one of those wins where once again, as cliche as it is to say, this causes the Diamondbacks to believe in themselves, it causes them to at least understand that, you know, when things turn around on them kind of like this game did after Ryan Nelson, you know, gave up that home run. it, it, there's, there can still be a path to victory.
Starting point is 00:07:07 And it feels a little bleak at times. And I'm sure it starts to seep into, you know, their psyche when it comes to being down late in games. Like, we don't win late. We're probably not going to win this one. You know, you start your, you're, I guess your, your, your idea of your possibility of winning is, is starts to fly out the window once you guys, you know, let that lead slip away. People are, are talking in the chat about, uh, about Blaze. And, uh, yeah, he looked. really he looked really good at shortstop in this game and in particular the play that he made diving
Starting point is 00:07:40 to his left where katell had to leap over him uh we just talked to blaze about that in the clubhouse and blaze said that kattel leaping made it even sicker than it than it already was uh which is a just pretty funny well i know that's already used yeah it is it is that is the exact word that he used we'll we'll post some some footage from the clubhouse afterward there was some some good stuff for sure. But yeah, this was just, it was a, it was a complete game for the debacks. I mean, I know it certainly criticized the offense, like in the middle innings. They, they did go quiet as, as we've seen them do this season. But it feels like a few weeks ago, I mean, this is not the most scientific analysis, but it feels like a few weeks ago, this is, this is the kind of game
Starting point is 00:08:21 that the debacks probably lose, right? Like, it feels like it would have been the air that, you know, the giant score on, and then the offense goes down in the bottom of the ninth, and it's kind of a crushing three, two loss where you made an air. And that proved to be the difference in the game. Tori Lavello talked out for this one about how he really likes where this team is at. And he really, you know, is confident that they're going to be able to build on this moving forward. I really feel like this was the Diamondbacks,
Starting point is 00:08:53 Diamondbacks best game of the year. And in some ways, yeah, you could argue that. Right. Like, it's not it's not the blowouts that they've had. because it's easy to say those victories are the best games they had this year. But what I mean was their ability to hang in there in a situation where it didn't, you know, like it didn't seem like things were going to go their way. Ryan Nelson being out there wasn't, you know, the most reliable starter that you could
Starting point is 00:09:22 have on the mound against a division opponent right now that is very close to you in record and, you know, also has things not going well, right? like a winnable series here against an opponent that you kind of need to win. But I mean, just everything, since this was such a close game, everything kind of went perfectly for them. And they did such a good job defensively. I mean, offense, obviously you could have some complaints there about how quiet their bats went after those first two runs were scored.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Lordis Guerriel hits home run number 100 of his career. And he really feels like ever since he missed that game due to the flu, he's back to his old self a bit. But I mean, overall, yeah, it would have been nice to see that offense continue to roll. We saw them once again go quiet for a very long time. But Pavin Smith, man, just what a huge home run there in the bottom of the night being called upon in the way that he was going to him instead of Gino. Like that was a decision that, I mean, a lot of people probably didn't think was going to go the Diamondbacks way, especially. considering it's Pavin and you know you would have never thought when the Diamondbacks brought on a
Starting point is 00:10:35 guy like Gino that they would be pinch hitting for him yeah big game situations like this right but it's what it's what the situation is called for based on recent performance and Pavean delivered yeah Tori talked about how um you know he was asked how how is Gino taking that like I I'm really curious how many times is Gino Suarez been pinch hit for in his career uh it's a really difficult thing to look up, especially factoring injuries and whatnot that can come up. But it's probably not very many. Like, Gino Suarez has been a middle of the lineup type guy for the vast majority of his career. And as a right-handed hitter, he's not, you know, you're not going to really pinch it for him if you've got a tough righty on the mound.
Starting point is 00:11:16 You're generally going to let him face righties, righties and lefties. So certainly a rarity for him. And Tori talked about how Gino's been a pro's pro and how he can't, he can't say enough about Gino's as a person and as a teammate. and how Gino was, you know, as excited as anyone when Pavin did what he did in the ninth inning. It speaks to his character a lot. On Pavin's side, Pavan told us that he would not have pinch hit if Jake McCarthy had not doubled. Jake McCarthy had not gotten on base. So I think if it was base is empty two outs, Tori was just going to go to Gino and then maybe save Pavan theoretically for extra innings.
Starting point is 00:11:51 But I guess McCarthy gets some credit here as well, even though, you know, solo Homer or two-run Homer, the D-back still would have won. this game, but McCarthy getting on base is what allowed Pavin to enter this one to begin with. And Pavan talked about how between the fifth and sixth innings, he was out in the cages doing some work against a Velo machine because he expected that if he came in late in the game, he would either face Rodriguez as he did or he would face Camillo Duval, who throws even harder. I think it was a hundred one hour. Yeah, I think it was a 98 mile an hour fastball that Pavin homered on. It was center cut.
Starting point is 00:12:26 and he talked about how recently when he's coming to pinch hit, he feels like he's been late on fastballs. And I was 98 right down the middle, and he was not laid on that one. Well, and it's something that's kind of been an epidemic for the entire Diamondbacks team, right? We've seen them have some miss on some pretty big fastballs down the middle, and that's not just paving.
Starting point is 00:12:48 That's been across the board for this team. But, I mean, McCarthy, Jake McCarthy, you just can't say enough about what he, continues to do for this team. He's hitting 276 right now with a 731 OPS. And again, just underrated as far as, like, you know, we talk about Jake kind of having having a good stretch. I feel like this is more than a good stretch for Jake. I feel like in the role that he's been asked to play, which is playing infrequently and coming into games, you know, kind of like not really knowing when he's going to get playing time. He's done an excellent job for Tori Lavella.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Yeah, and neither he nor Paven are making Tori's job, the front office's job any easier, right? When you get- Nope. When you get Perdomo back, when you get Alec Thomas back, we were just talking in our mailbag Monday show earlier today, who, you know, what are the debacks going to do when those guys are ready? And it just got a lot harder to send Bevan Smith down, right? It just got a lot harder. You know, Blaze Alexander had had a really good game here as well. and Jake obviously with that double in the ninth inning too.
Starting point is 00:13:57 So yeah, that continues to be a fascinating situation for the devax moving forward, how they're going to handle that. And that brings us to the slander from today's show that everybody in the chat is talking about, Jesse Friedman. Would you care to apologize for instantly wanting to send Pavin Smith back to Reno as if it's a no-brainer? maybe maybe address those comments from earlier sir please the floor is yours i mean i i to be fair i did not say that i personally think that's the move that they should make uh but i did say i mean yeah we were talking about what the diamond backs were going to do when that was specifically about
Starting point is 00:14:39 alec thomas and your options in the outfield right now are our paven and jake mccarthy and given how well jake mccarthy has has performed lately i was been one of the debacks better hitters this season. You know, Pavan was was clearly the odd man out. I mean, frankly, Derek, his Pavan's OPS went up, I believe about 75 points, maybe more than that with one swing. So, so it's amazing how much, how much one swing can change. I don't know if, you know, I don't know how much this, this one swing will, will impact that decision for the Diamondbacks eventually. But yes, it is, it is very possible that my, my assessment of that situation was wrong earlier today. I fully acknowledge that.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Hopefully people are okay with that response. I don't think they are. I don't think they are, but they're going to have to be. Well, of course, we do. There is one no-brainer, and that is, in fact, who is tonight's King Snake. It's this guy. That's our guy right there. Pave and Smith, walk off home run.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Oh, man, what a big moment. What an absolutely huge moment for this team. And I don't know. What does it mean in the grand scheme of things? Who knows? Right? We know that this is just a regular season game, but I will say after, again,
Starting point is 00:16:00 after what looked like an absolute low point for this team, losing that game two to the Mets 10 to 9, I feel like not only have they turned things around, but they're, they've responded really, really well, right? They've responded in a way that, you know, shows that they have fight left in.
Starting point is 00:16:20 them. And it shows that, yeah, even though things aren't going to go their way collectively at times, you still have on this team what feels like a hero, a new hero pop up every single day, you know, like, yeah, Cattell does it regularly. We've had a couple of other guys come in and and just, you know, be what this team needs at times. Lourdes steps up big today, gets that home run. He's been, like I said, he's been big the last few games. But overall, it just really does feel like this team has kind of reset and is back to at least playing the kind of baseball that we're used to seeing them play, right? Tonight's game, if they would have lost it, they would have lost it, right?
Starting point is 00:17:02 Especially, you know, that high throw would have caused Christian to miss the tag that runs scores, the Diamondbacks lose this game three to two. We're not doing this emergency podcast, that's for sure. But it also didn't feel like an epic collapse. It just felt like the offense wasn't enough. to, you know, beat a Giants team scoring three runs. And, you know, we've talked about just today, one of our questions was when do we start believing in this offense? How many runs do they have to score in a row or what kind of offensive week do they have to have?
Starting point is 00:17:34 I mean, this, this makes you believe. But again, this was a game where they did really struggle offensively to produce until that home run by David. Yeah, it wasn't the prettiest day offensively at all. I mean, they had, you know, they pushed across a couple runs. in the second inning. Blaze Alexander came through with a big hit there. Corbyn was up with a runner at third one out, hit a fly ball that was a little too shallow to left. And then Blaze came up, worked a three one count, got a fastball middle, middle and, you know, smacked it right back up the middle for an RBI single. That was another, another pivotal moment in this game. Another big moment for Blaze in particular who had a really good game. But yeah, in the middle innings, the offense didn't do much. It had the feel of a lot of games this year where the Dback scored a little early. did some, you know, did some damage and then kind of let the opposing pitcher or pitchers in this case. I know Spencer Howard wound up pitching the bulk innings for the Giants. Yeah, kind of letting them settle in. And, you know, it looked like the Giants bullpen was really
Starting point is 00:18:35 having their way with the debacks. And they were able to, able to do just enough at the end of this one. There was a question here from Ryan who wanted to know, how was the crowd? Today was the start of the summer pass. So I want to get your thoughts on the crowd tonight. Yeah, it was 21,551 was the attendance, which on a Monday isn't bad. It's not amazing, but it's not bad. They did seem pretty engaged in this game, especially when the Christian Walker tag play was overturned. I'm not going to say that was like the loudest this ballpark has been, but it was loud in here for sure. People were pretty fired up when they saw that on the screen and saw that it looked like he was, that Salare actually was out.
Starting point is 00:19:18 and when the when the call was made official that it was overturned people people were really loud and certainly the walkoff itself it got really loud in here as well so yeah it was it was one of the more spirited crowds that i've heard this season for sure we knew that the giants were coming into this game with an opener situation it it was almost very effective against the diamondbacks today but tomorrow the diamondbacks have blake walston on the mound going up against kind of Powell Harrison. Any thoughts on that matchup with young Blake Wollstone, who has been pretty good this year, both in Reno and for the Diamondbacks at a major league level? Yeah, I mean, this is, this is the, the D-Backs youth movement, right? It's, it's Ryan Nelson one day. It's Blake Walsden the next day. You know, we had Brandon fought on Sunday. We had Slade Cicconi on Saturday. This is how it's going to be for the D-backs, at least for the next couple of weeks. And yeah, Blake Walson was, he was good in his last outing for sure. It's been a while since he's pitched at this point.
Starting point is 00:20:23 DeBox wound up, you know, sliding slayed into that spot for him on Saturday. So be interesting to see how he responds, pitching on quite a bit of rest in this situation. But I understand what they were doing from a matchup standpoint. You know, the Mets against a lefty, they've got Pete Alonzo, they've got Starling Marte, they've got, you know, Lindor hits from both sides, but it's certainly good from the right-handed side. J.D. Martinez is one of the, one of the bigger bats in the Mivot lineup as well.
Starting point is 00:20:52 This Giants team is a little, is a little bit different. I think you'd just rather have a lefty against this giant's team than the Met. So, yeah, we'll see, we'll see what it looks like tomorrow. A couple of really young starting pitchers. Blake is 22, I believe, Kyle Harrison for the Giants. Don't have his page in front of me. I think he's 21 or 22. So a couple of, yeah, a couple of young lefties going at it tomorrow night. well i did want to give a shout out uh i think we normally call you comrade but based on your uh i'm going to say your name's brian miller i don't know but he says i want to thank pavin smith for the perfect end to my birthday celebration we want to thank you and happy birthday uh this was this like this was a memorable night like this is a night that you're not going to forget
Starting point is 00:21:39 that we are not going to forget very soon but i mean to have a game like this happen on a night where It's your birthday. You're celebrating something. You're a fan of this team. It's got to make it even better. So happy birthday to you. And shout out to everybody for coming through and demanding that Jesse apologized to Pavin Smith.
Starting point is 00:21:59 It was the only course of action and it was very reasonable. But yeah, the Diamondbacks again, they have a chance here. What is this? The fourth game one of the year that they have won. Yeah, I was going to bring that up. Yeah, I think they're, they're four and 15 now. I want to say.
Starting point is 00:22:15 That's gross. I hate that. Yeah, Tori made some pretty funny comments along those lines. The debacks did the thing again where they didn't take batting practice. I believe they did the same thing in New York, the first game of that series. It was Paul Seawald's idea kind of back up a little bit on what they would normally do prior to the first game of a series. They're never going to do BP again. Yeah, well, I asked about that.
Starting point is 00:22:39 I was like, so does this mean you're not going to do any of your advanced meetings tomorrow? Tori seemed to kind of walk it back. He was like, well, we actually did do some advanced meetings today. It didn't sound like the meetings are going to change. I assume they're still going to have batting practice tomorrow like they normally would. But Tori did say that Paul Seawald's advice worked, and he said that that will probably give him hives, that Paul's advice proved to be correct here. I guess Tori's expected it to never hear the end of that or something along those lines.
Starting point is 00:23:08 So that was what have we said? We said Paul is the dad. dad. Paul knows how to fix stuff. Paul knows how to fix a broken light switch. And Paul knows how to fix a broken offense. All right. Is it conventional? No. Is it going to use a lot of duct tape when doing it? Probably. But is the shit going to work after Paul's done fixing it? The answer is obviously yes. And yes, that would give me hives as a manager as well. But I love Paul Seawald. And that's why. See, like, this is this is what I'm talking about. You talk about these guys missing valuable pieces. of both the bullpen of the starting rotation and of the lineup. It's not just what they do in the game. It's their ability to honestly impart advice on their teammates to, you know, when we talked about Geraldo Perdomo just be an injection of life into his teammates. Like, Geraldo Perdomo is one of those guys, at least with me.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Like a lot of the baseball players say hi to me. It's cool. I mean, some hug me, it's blaze. And Ryan Thompson. But Geraldo, when he says hi to you, it's electric. It's absolutely electric. And again, these are all small little things that are missing and you can't quantify them. You can't even really like it's speculation about how much these guys actually, their presence impacts the team and just being there. But again, like someone like Paul Seewald, who has been on a lot of teams, who is a veteran in this league and has seen a lot of things is the kind of guy that will like give you, give you his thoughts on something or at least say, hey, one time. when I was in Seattle, this thing we did work and we might want to try that here. That's something that's intangibles that you can't, you don't really know sometimes when
Starting point is 00:24:51 these guys bring. But that's why having some of those veterans in the clubhouse is so important. Right. And that's why this team has always tried to have that mix. Paul, different level dad though. Love Paul. I mean, it makes me wonder, like Paul Seawald hasn't been with the team for very long because of the injury.
Starting point is 00:25:09 So like if Paul winds up. still on the injured list at this point. Like, do the D-backs actually hit batting practice before this game? Does that mean they lose this game? I don't know. We're going a little too far in hypotheticals there. That's a timeline we don't live in, Jesse. We never have to worry about, at least not right now.
Starting point is 00:25:28 But what we do have to worry about is if the Diamondbacks can close this series out against the Giants and keep things rolling. I will be shaving my face again tomorrow in preparation for whatever. I mean, who knows? I don't know if it's working. I don't know what the impact. You got a little something down here, Derek. I think we probably should do away with that, right?
Starting point is 00:25:51 I mean, I have a five o'clock shadow at like 3.30. It's not even fair. It's a really, it's an uphill battle when it comes to my facial hair. But somehow things I do to my head magically impact this team and I'll never understand it. Thank you, B.com, C, clearly for your super chat that I clearly can't read. I don't know. I don't want to read. That's a sound bite that people are going to have of me saying that phrase.
Starting point is 00:26:16 And if you guys are audio listeners right now on the audio podcasting side, we thank you for being here and listening and subscribing. Starting point is 00:26:52 Jesse did not have any of his normal makeup or his lighting rig or anything. My makeup person and my hair person both weren't available. So I look terrible. I made him come on here with this. We do thank you. We appreciate you guys for being here. Of course, you can follow us on Twitter. I'm at cap underscore K-man with a K.
Starting point is 00:27:10 Jesse is at Jesse and Friedman. Of course, our producer is the people's producer. It's Damon Dog. He is at Damon Dog on Twitter. That's D-A-W-G. And we are always Damon's dogs. Bark-Bark. Our show is at P-H-N-X underscore D-Backs,
Starting point is 00:27:24 but all roads do lead to at P-H-N-X underscore Sports on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Friedman, you got anything else before we get out of here? I think, you know, we don't have a numbers. Don't lie, but if we did, I think it would be one. And that represents Derek, the how far the diamondbacks are behind in the wild card standings right now they are one game behind the chicago cubs and st louis cardinals uh for the third wildcard spot the cubs are
Starting point is 00:27:51 29 and 31 the cardinals are 28 and 30 the second wild card card is occupied by the san diego podres who lost have lost a couple games in a row are now 32 and 31 devax only two and a half games behind them at this point with that series coming up this weekend so it underscores a lot of what we've been saying lately with the fact that the debacks really were never all that buried in the standings and people wanting to call the season over, you know, even amid all the struggles that this team has had, those claims were never really never substantiated just because of the reality of the National League and frankly how top heavy it is and how mediocre so many of the other teams have been. And this continues to be a big week for the debacks is, you know,
Starting point is 00:28:34 the Giants are still a half game up on the debacks. Padres are right there, as I said. So a big week for them playing those two teams. And then you've got the Angels and the White Sox coming next week. Good opportunity to pick up some ground there as well. I got another number for you. I know I don't usually tread on your ground too much. All right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:53 What we got? I have 12. This is the 12th career start for Ryan Nelson where he is not allowed to walk. And that is something that he is very, very good at, continues to be good at. 13 games in his career, but 12th career start where he's not allowed to walk. So, you know, as bleak as things look at times, this is not how guys like Ryan Nelson are approaching this. This is not how guys like Slade Sacconi are approaching this. This is an opportunity for them for their careers, you know.
Starting point is 00:29:24 And again, these guys, the talent is there. They're just young guys that are still figuring out how to be effective with their stuff at a major league level. So I, well, it might not be easy at times to believe in this team right now. I think that these young guys are proving that they can handle it. And hopefully they can handle it until some of these starting pitchers come back here very soon. For an update on that, by the way, we're not going to give it to you right now. But you can go check out Jesse's The Rattle over on YouTube and get an update on all of those starting pitcher injuries. And you can also get me missing Tommy Fam on meetings with the mayor.
Starting point is 00:30:03 But of course, we thank you guys again so much for stopping by. We appreciate your time. We will see you tomorrow for another. post-game show. That one's not an emergency podcast. That one's planned. So come back here tomorrow night after game two against the Giants. And in the meantime, we hope you guys have a wonderful night. And remember, kids, baseball is fun, but it's so much more fun when you put respect on Pavin Smith's name, Jesse.
