Well, the Diamondbacks had the ABS challenge system on their side today,
but unfortunately their bullpen coughed up a lead in yet another close game,
and the Diamondbacks lose today to the Mets and extra innings by a score of four to three.
We are talking all about it.
Don't you go anywhere.
You know what that music means.
It means we're not having a great time.
Welcome in to another edition of the PHNX DBAX podcast, brought to you by our friends at Bet365 and game time.

Welcome in, you guys.
Of course, we are discussing the Diamondbacks loss today in extra innings to the Mets by a score of four to three.
And this one, the ending of this one was as cold as the weather there in New York.
due to the weather the Diamondbacks had to
and the Mets had to move this game up from 410,
which was our time, 710 Eastern Time to 410 Eastern Time
and 110 our time here locally.
And it seemed like the later that this game went,
the less offense was actually going to score.
Unfortunately, the Diamondbacks bullpen couldn't take advantage of that
and win this one today.
The D-backs did have a lead, and it's yet another close game
They were up three to two for the majority of this one,
thanks to an ABS challenge going their way
and kind of changing the game overall here.
But of course, there's so much to talk about in this one
that I don't really want to talk about, Damon.
I don't really want to talk about.
The game got moved up, and the Mets, by the way,
couldn't even give away tickets,
as you could see by the attendance there in New York.
And when I say that, there was an actual tweet here
from the New York.
where they were offering up free tickets for today's game and tomorrow's game
due to the cold weather that they were having.
I can't imagine because I lived most of my life in Arizona.
I can't imagine anything being canceled due to the cold.
Seriously, I mean, especially right now with how hot it is in Arizona
and how hot it's been to think of another place being like,
ah, it's so cold here.
You're like, what?
Yeah.
That's a possibility?
I don't know what that means, Damon.
But overall here, the bullpen, like I said, they blew things late in this game.
I made a Johnny Lausagna meme, and we were looking forward to getting a lot of,
getting a lot of mileage out of that one.
Unfortunately, ever since I made it, that...
The lasagna has been burnt.
It's overdone.
It's overdone.
It's been being served cold for sure.
But again, the story in this one definitely is that an ABS challenge proved to be huge for the debacks.
and it helped them gain a three to two lead over the Mets,
but a lack of any other offense in this game
and two late runs loud by the bullpen,
including one in the bottom of the 10th,
led to this game being what it was.
I will say this, though,
there were a lot of problems in this game for the Diamondbacks,
and it's not just the bullpen there late.
Obviously, the offense has so many,
I have so many questions about what is going on with the offense,
and how Ildemarovar Vargas
is the Diamondbacks best offensive
player right now. But the debacks
were not sharp defensively
early in this one and that
led to run scoring for the Mets that
made the difference in this game
considering that it was tied
at the end of it and we went into extra
innings. Nolan Aronado made a
huge defensive mistake in the first inning
and with two on and no outs
he clanked a ball that was hit
by Jorge Polanco off his glove
that could have been a double
play. Instead, we end up with bases loaded and no outs. And I mean, credit to Zach Gallen.
Zach Gallen had some good stuff going for him today, including his cutter that he doesn't normally
use a ton. But he was able to get out of that inning with only allowing one run to score on
a Brett Beatty sack fly. And then you also have the very next inning, I believe, Corbyn Carroll
misplaying a ball in right field hit by Francisco Lindor. He ended up getting a throwing error
on that play due to the missing the cutoff man.
And Francisco Alvarez had no problem running through the stop sign put up by the New York
Mets third base coach to come around and score putting the Mets up at the time two to nothing.
But there was some good defense as well, right?
You got Ildemarovar Vagus flashing some leather at first base.
And once again, proving he can do it all.
He got a ground ball there in the third, turned two, and looked good as a first baseman for
this team as he has overall.
But obviously the big story today was pitching.
And I mean, we'll talk about the bullpen blowing it.
We'll also talk about Zach Gallum having a nice day.
But we do have to talk about that ABS challenge system, that ABS challenge by the Diamondbacks being crucial.
And at least at the time, looking like it was a game changer for this team.
And we've talked about the Diamondbacks not using their challenges nearly enough in so far this season.
We've also talked about Tori Lavallo seemingly not having any kind of game plan as far as using the ABS system coming in here.
I mean, he has some idea, but like we talked about on yesterday's episode, it is a bit frustrating to get the feeling that he still doesn't really have a solid idea of when he doesn't, doesn't want to use it.
And, you know, again, overall that, that, you know, was a, it seemed like a missed opportunity, right, for this team.
but the ABS today proved to be very valuable.
The Diamondbacks end up ADC, Adrian Del Castillo,
ends up coming up with a huge, huge challenge there that, like I said,
it completely changed the game for the Diamondbacks in the fifth inning.
It was bases loaded with two outs, ADC at the plate.
He ends up striking out, which would have ended the inning,
and it was on a called strike three.
That was not an actual strike.
strike. He does have that
ball reviewed. It is
reversed. The call is overturned
and made a ball. And in his
with the very next pitch, I believe, ADC
singles bringing in Corbyn Carroll
and Geraldo Perdomo in the inning
and tying the ball game up at
two to two. And then
Nolan Arnato, who atones
a little bit for his mistake
defensively earlier in the game,
comes in up after that,
doubles and brings in yet another run
to give the Diamondbacks that three to
lead at the time. What's more frustrating, though, is the lack of offense after that. The
Diamondbacks, of course, were up against a very good pitcher there in Freddie Peralta, but they
knocked Freddie Peralta out of this game in the fifth inning. And they did it with some pretty
good at bats that even though they weren't extremely productive in getting hits, they were still
making Freddie Peralta throw a lot of pitches. Catelle Marte was two for five today and one of the
lone shining stars besides Gabriel Moreno, who was two for three.
Molinar and Otto, to his credit, also was two for five,
and he had that huge RBI that put the Diamondbacks up.
But, I mean, the Diamondbacks just couldn't put timely hits together.
Offensively, they just struggled out there.
And again, late in the game, when they were in extra innings,
they did not take advantage of just trying to move the runner in and score the run.
Like, simply put, like dropping down a bunt,
having the runner get over to third base, hitting a sack fly.
Sack fly ends up being the difference or not sack fly,
but an RBI single.
And with the way Paul Seawald was pitching there,
he probably would have given up several more runs,
had that 10th inning continued going.
He doesn't seem to be the kind of guy that you can trust in any situation
other than an actual save.
And even then as the season progresses,
I'm sure we'll lose our faith in Seawald there in that role as well.
But again, the Diamondback should have perhaps defensively been able to save
keep some of those runs off the board.
they also should have perhaps been able to put up some more runs.
I don't know what's going on with this team offensively this year,
but I feel like it's starting to become a problem.
Is that safe to say, Damon?
It's a slow start, yes, and it's offense.
So you feel like at any point someone like Perdomo,
who's kind of struggling, but still hitting the ball hard,
is going to start putting things together.
He's hitting the ball in the air.
He's getting the bat on the ball.
he's just not been, you know, having much success with things falling in for a hit.
Just it just feels, though, like this offense, which really is never struggled like this,
is definitely getting a slow start here in 2026.
Yeah, the offense is the reason that this team is maybe playing such hot and cold baseball right now
because, you know, the starting pitching is certainly doing its part of the equation.
And as much as we want to bitch about the bullpen and we will on this podcast, do not get us,
not get it twisted. We will. I also think it should be noted that this bullpen is typically
coming in and giving up like one run, two runs. And are they crucial runs that they're giving up?
Yeah, Jonathan Loisaga has done it, you know, two outings in a row. Seawald's had a couple of
bad outings now as well. But it's usually because the offense is giving the defense and the
pitching zero, you know, actual ability to like feel like they have, they're working with a
lead. And this offense has been really bad to start the year, which, you know, I think when you
look at the build of this team, kind of unacceptable. You knew the bullpen was going to be bad.
So you expect it. The offense was supposed to be really good. And so the offense playing like
they are right now is it can't happen and you got to figure it out. Because the bullpen's probably
going to be like this until reinforcements come. Mark is right. Outside of
of Corbin and Vargy.
This team is booty offensively, that's for sure.
I mean, Kattel at least is starting to put some things together.
And you're right about Pardomo.
I meant more just that Pardomo is actually getting, at least putting the ball in play.
And you feel like things are going to change for him, but he's still hitting 162 with a 535 OPS.
Ketel Marte is finally over 200 at 209 with a 603 OPS, but not what you expect.
I mean, some guys, again, are putting things together in Vargas.
continues to contribute. He was one of the shining, you know, points of this game and has been,
even though, again, he was just one for five himself today. So it wasn't like he did anything
crazy. He had a bunt single and did prove that he can get on base when he needs to. But the
Diamondbacks didn't, you know, they had what, three walks today. They didn't put a lot of pressure
on the Mets as far as getting base runners on and, again, making pitchers pitch out of the stretch.
It wasn't like they were putting together multiple hits.
And that fifth inning there was the one time where they really were threatening.
Overall, they were two for ten with runners in scoring position.
And, you know, it's just, it was just an unfortunate day there in a lot of ways where if you felt,
you just felt like if this team could add one more run, obviously, in hindsight, that's easy to say.
Or, you know, have this bullpen be able to hold this game and not let it go tied there with Jonathan.
lasagna coming into the game and giving up that run, you know, this game feels much better.
You know, you feel like the Diamondbacks once again, you know, win a close one and at least there's that this season.
Right.
But even with winning close games, you still have to be concerned about the Diamondbacks lack of offense and their inability to really put anything together.
They've been facing some tough teams and some tough pitching.
I'll credit them with that.
The Braves have a very good pitching staff.
The Dodgers, we know what they can do.
and then they come in here against Freddie Peralta today.
So it's not like they've been, you know,
being no hit by scrubs necessarily.
However, you know, the consistent lack of offense is,
it really does seem like it's becoming a problem for sure.
All right.
Well, we do have to give out the Kingsnake to someone.
And there's a few guys with a few hits today.
Like I said, Tel Marte 2 for 5 with two strikeouts.
Gabby Moreno, 2 for 3 today with a walk.
he seems to be putting things together nicely.
Aronado, like I said, two for five.
He had that RBI.
Made up a little bit for his mistake there.
But none of those guys are getting King Snake
because today King Snake is the ABS Challenge System.
Not Adrian Delaccio, nobody else.
Just the ABS Challenge System.
Diamondbacks were one for two today on challenges, three hits
because of that challenge and two RBI scored.
Player of the game, not a player.
Player of the game, not a player.
That's always a good sign.
That's always a good sign that your team played really well.
Yeah.
I mean, 2BMC brings up the best point.
I guess this is the conversation we've been having entirely too many times about this team.
Expecting this pen to hold a one-run lead for four-plus innings is a bit unreasonable.
Yeah.
And it does feel like the Diamondbacks have been asking their bullpen to do that entirely too much.
And then we get mad at the bullpen and we say they blew it.
because they did.
It's not to say they didn't,
but it's also to say,
man,
it would be nice.
I'm sure this bullpen
would appreciate
maybe a little bit of a cushion
every once in a while.
And the Diamondbacks offense
just has not been able to give that to them.
So I don't really know what's wrong.
I do see like,
you know,
again,
something changed throughout the game
where the Diamondbacks were being
much more patient earlier on
and then as the game progresses,
you kind of see them taking hacks
and not taking pitches
and not,
you know,
not getting as much information from their bat as they possibly can get.
I do think that, you know, there's a lot you could say about the injuries,
and we have more injuries to discuss at the end of this episode,
believe it or not, as disgusting as that sounds.
But the majority of the offensive players are here and they're in the lineup.
You know, you got Jose Fernandez today, once again,
just pinch running for Adrian Del Castillo and not getting into this game.
Ildemarro Vargas was fine at first base, but I mean, when you put Jose Fernandez into baseball games, good things happen.
So I don't understand why they continue to be so reluctant to do that and why they continue to just bring him in late into games and pinch situation.
So I don't know.
I don't know what's going on with their, again, their hesitation to use Jose Fernandez or their desire to use them sparingly.
I say get him in the lineup because this this team wins when he's in there.
As Seedog says, not playing Fernandez is a fireball offense.
All right, well, we're going to take a quick break.
And on the other side of this break, we're going to scream about pitching and blame pitchers for not pitching well.
And they deserve it.
But also, once again, offense needs to do more.
We need more from the offense.
We can't keep going on expecting to win baseball games, scoring three runs or less.
and it is something the Diamondbacks have done entirely too often this year
and should be glad, should be glad that they have gotten as many wins as they have.
Now they are one game below 500, so Lord knows when we're going to see Little Domo go back up the mountain.
And that's not my fault.
It's Tori's fault, Paul Sewell's fault, and maybe the offense's fault.
But we're going to take a quick break.
On the other side of this break, we're going to talk about the pitching.
Don't you go anywhere?
We're thrilled to have you here, and you are watching the pH and
next Diamondback show. Well, of course, if you are ever involved in an accident or serious injury,
you got to do your research because the lawyer that you hired does matter. And let's face it,
after an injury, you don't necessarily want to worry about what the best interests are of the
lawyer you're hiring. You want to make sure that they have your best interest in mind. And that's
the husband and wife law team. Their team brings hundreds of years of combined trial experience,
and they have multiple certified specialists in personal injury and wrongful death. In the state of
Arizona as a state bar has certified less than 1% of all lawyers as specialists in injury and wrongful
death litigation, which makes them experts in the field. And they are trial lawyers. If a case needs
to go to trial, they are ready to do so and they know what needs to be done to prevail in front
of a jury. Of course, nobody can guarantee the outcome of your case, but there are some things that
they can promise to you as their client, including that you can cancel their fee agreement at any time
for any reason that you will receive as much in your pocket as they receive for their fee, even if they
have to reduce their attorney fees to do so.
And you may speak with one of their lawyers as often as you choose about anything you wish to discuss.
So if you've had a serious injury, call the husband and wife law team first at 602-7-83-8-484-1
or visit their website at the link in our show notes and tell them, P.HNX sent you.

Well, welcome back to the PHNXD Back show presented by Bet365.
Obviously, today started with Zach Gallen on the mound, and we know Zach Gallen can be pretty good in the state of
New York. He tends to be when he pitches there. But he got himself into trouble right away today.
Three singles to lead off that first inning. The one should have resulted in a double play
because that was that one that Nolan Aronado clanked off of his glove that looked like it could
have been a double play. I mean, they ruled it a single still. So they didn't give Nolan an error for it.
I would have given him an error for it considering it hit him right in his glove. And again,
he's one of those players that you feel like, you know, he makes stuff like that look easy.
typically. So just might be my bias there, but he really did put them in a bad position there early on.
But luckily, Gallen did a great job of battling back and limiting the damage in a basis loaded.
No out situation to just one run. And he went really cutter heavy in this outing early on,
which is something that he really hasn't used much this season. They talked about it on the broadcast there.
But he did still come back to using his forcing fastball. I believe we have his pitch chart here.
but he did end up using his forcing fastball,
29% of the outing.
His cutter did, his usage went way up there with the cutter, 23%.
He was having some success there with his changeup as well.
He would use that 19% of the outing.
And then he also threw the sinker, the knuckle curve,
which he kind of got away from,
like that knuckle curve when it's dropping
and it has that big induced vertical break
and drops out of the zone,
then things look pretty good for him.
But I don't know.
It seemed like maybe just was not a very tantalizing pitch to batters today.
And then he did throw the slider one time.
But he got seven whiffs total in this game.
Four of them were on the cutter and three on the changeup today.
And Zach ends up being able to give the Diamondbacks five innings of five hit baseball.
Two runs did score.
One was unearned.
So he does only get hit for one earned run today.
He walked four and struck out five.
So four walks aren't great.
But outside of that, Zach Gallen was pretty good today.
And again, some mistakes there really did prevent the Diamondbacks from keeping the Mets off the board.
Who knows if those runs score anyway, but it definitely didn't feel like typical Diamondbacks baseball.
With Ironado's bat being what it is right now, the last thing we need is to see him making the amount of defensive mistakes that we've been seeing him make out there in the field.
I mean, that is the reason why you slot Aronado in regardless of what his batting averages, his defense, his platinum glove caliber defense.
And let's be honest, we haven't really seen that lately.
It started out the year strong.
But in the last few games, Aronado's defense has been sloppy, and we've seen him making some mistakes out there, right?
I got to applaud that Gallen, though, because one thing that Gallen was a little bad at or I guess happened on more than one occasion is when a mistake would happen,
behind him similar to what happened with Arnato there in the first, Gallin sometimes would kind of
melt down. You know, he wouldn't respond well to his defense, you know, letting him down behind him.
And today he did. You're talking last year specifically. I'm talking last year specifically with
Gallen, right? And today I thought he responded really well. I mean, again, bases loaded, no outs,
and he somehow finds a way to get out of that jam with only one run scoring on a sack fly by Brett
Beatty. So I just thought, again, Gallin's made some changes and he's looked better at times this
year. But that inning right there, even though it started off really slow, he gets Luis Robert
Jr. to strike out swinging. Brett Beatty, sack fly. That scores Lindor. And then he gets Mark Vientos,
who looked as cold as I would have been there with the full Baclava on there, flying out
to center field there to Alec Thomas. So anyway, Gallon, Gallen,
did not have his best stuff today.
He was locating his fastball.
He was going to that cutter.
So again, I do feel like Zach is figuring out ways to pitch on days where he doesn't have his best stuff.
And if you talk to Galen, he never has his best stuff.
There's always a pitch that he doesn't have a feel for that day or always something that's kind of off and isn't landing correctly.
However, again, adapting and going to his different pitch mix on what is working and what isn't working has led to Gallen have.
having some solid success so far here this season.
And I mean, Gowan now has a three ERA,
and if Gowan can maintain a three ERA,
it's hard to imagine this team being bad this year.
But offensively, again, I'm very concerned,
high levels of concern, in the red, if you would, right?
I couldn't be more concerned about the offense.
So I would see it as being the most Diamondbacks thing ever, ever, that the pitching staff finally starts getting things on track, specifically the starting pitching staff.
And they have no run support to show for it.
Because we've already seen that out of Eduardo Rodriguez and his two starts.
And now Zach Gallen again today.
Not a lack of run support, but again, not what we're used to seeing this team put up.
But the bullpen, I got to give credit to at least the first two guys that went out there and put in work.
Juan Murillo continues to look solid for this team.
He had an inning of hitless, scoreless baseball, no walks, no strikeouts.
Ryan Thompson also came in for the sixth and pitched an inning of no hit,
scoreless baseball with no strikeouts, no walks.
The one thing that seems to be the pattern here with this team is a lack of over,
powering when it comes to the pitching or trying to finesse strikeouts, but more an ability
to just go out there and get outs.
And that is proving to be a success for the bullpen for the starting rotation for everyone.
But just when you think, you know, you can count on a guy in this Diamondback's bullpen,
you suddenly can't.
And that would be the case with Jonathan Loisigga, aka Johnny LaZanja, who came into this game
in the eighth inning.
And once again, for the second game in a row.
could not hold a lead, blows the game with allowing an earn run there.
I gave up two hits, one earn run.
He did strike out one.
His ERA is still really good at 2.84 because of how he's pitched so far this season.
But again, the last two starts, he has proved to be unreliable.
And then you have Paul Seawalt come in in the bottom of the 10th,
with the Diamondbacks not being able to score in the top of the inning.
they move a runner over with essentially a ground ball
and then they bring them in with an RBI single.
So again, I still am of the thought process
that a reliever should be able to come into a game
and put in an inning of work
and get out of it without allowing a run score to score, period.
Extra innings is very difficult because of strategy.
And again, there was no strategy seemingly on the Diamondbacks part.
They just went out there and tried to mash a home run
or whatever they were trying to do there in the inning
instead of trying to lay down a bun
or do something to move the runner over, be productive
and bring in that run.
That is something with the lack of offense
and the lack of power that they've experienced so far this year
that they're going to need to learn how to do soon.
Manufacture runs.
Because the Mets had no problem doing that in the bottom of the inning
and Paul Seawald again was not very good
in a non-save situation.
That's another thing.
I mean, I can't,
explain it and I don't. Nobody probably can. Why, why a guy can be so much better in actual
save opportunities rather than just going in to hold a lead or, you know, or to hold a game
tie, right? Excuse me, not hold the lead, but hold the game tie. But man, I will say that
Paul Seewald is an anomaly. And it is very frustrating that this team is turning to him for
these situations. This is who
they went out and got this off
season to be able to turn to
this, you know,
in these clutch
save moments and late in games.
It sucks that it's Paul Seawald.
And it's no offense to Paul Seawald
because, again, I don't
think he at this point in his
career really should be
pitching in the ninth thing. I'm not to say he's
washed completely as a reliever,
but he was throwing an 89 mile per
hour fastball.
in the ninth inning or in the 10th inning there, excuse me.
I mean, all they needed to do at that point was lift a ball to the outfield.
And his first two pitches were 90 miles per hour, 89 miles per hour, 90 miles per hour.
That's what I said to you, Derek, is that for me, at least, when you get into these scenarios
with the new ghost runner rule in baseball, and I say new, obviously it's been, what, three seasons now of this.
But it's like when you have a guy that throws as slow as seawall,
does, maybe it can be effective
every once in a while,
but I'll tell you when it's not effective
when you need a damn strikeout.
Yeah.
And that's what you need
and extra endings with the ghost runner.
We got a guy in his first MLB at bat
going up there and being like,
yeah, I'm going to rip this over Corby Carroll's head
in right field because it's 90 miles per hour
and it's up in the zone.
You want to know the biggest part
about the entirety of the situation, Derek,
that is frustrating?
It was 02.
It was 02
And Paul Seawald gave this guy in his first MLB at bat
Something to hit on 02
It's not his first MLB at bat
Wasn't it? I mean it's his first action
No, he's at 13 at bats this season
But I thought he got called up because of
Uh, uh, uh, uh, Soto
I thought that's what they were talking about
He might have been he might have, might have been
But he did he does have 13 at bats this season
But 13 at bats is nothing. I'm not I'm not trying to split hairs
He's an experience.
experienced veteran with 13 at-bats and you're throwing him pitches in the middle of the zone on an 02 count.
And you're Paul Seawald.
It's a disaster.
Yeah.
And you're shaking off Gabby.
It's,
I can't believe he's in there in a non-save scenario.
There's a 0% chance that that was going to go properly for the Diamondbacks.
Every time that he comes in with an inherited runner in a ghost runner scenario, he's letting that run in.
I'm going to tell Tori Lovolo and the Diamondbacks that right now.
Now, make your decisions at your own.
risk moving forward, I guess, because he's going to allow that run. He's not going to strike
anybody out. The only way we get out of it is if he gets lucky. There's a number of reasons why I don't
understand why Paul Seawald was in there. I mean, John makes the point that I would make right there.
You just scroll past it. It's down a little ways. John said, why was he in there? It wasn't even a
safe situation. If he's your closer, why is he in there? I mean, I get it. I know that teams do that.
They want to bring in their best reliever to hold a game there or whatever the case may be.
but I don't love it.
I don't love it.
And I mean, I also think that someone brought up Cade Stroud,
top G said, how's Cade Stroud doing?
Oh, God, that makes me sick.
Cade Stroud, by the way, in two innings pitch is now allowed to,
I don't believe he's allowed to hit or run one hit in two innings pitched as all Cade Stroud has allowed.
Well, Blaze helped win the Orioles the game again today.
So that's what Bobrock told me in case you are wondering.
I know.
I'm well aware.
everything that Blaze Alexander does.
Blaze Watch.
I'm going to turn this into a Blaze Alexander podcast as long as it,
as long as,
as much as I can.
Hashtag Blaze Watch.
I mean,
I think,
you know,
this is the thing that frustrates people about Tory is that this idea of like
seniority wins out all the time.
Okay,
Paul Seawald is,
is the closer because he has to be,
because he's been the closer in the past.
Yeah.
No.
Yeah.
He doesn't.
Yeah.
If he's not going to help the team win,
and he doesn't have to go in there in the
10th inning inheriting a runner because we know he's not going to strike anybody out.
I would argue Ryan,
and you need a strike out.
I would argue Ryan Thompson deserves to be closer over Paul Seawald.
I would argue that Juan Morillo deserves to be closer over Paul Seawald.
At least just keep him in save only scenarios.
Doing what you did today is just, it's mind blowing.
I can't, I can't wrap my head around it.
Ryan Thompson, T time.
Ryan Thompson has not allowed a run this year, an earned run at least.
Again, if you, if you factor out.
out the inherited runners that he allowed like all of them to score.
All of them in that one game, right?
But he's still, again, he has four and a third innings pitch, no earn runs.
He's pitched pretty well.
And he's pitched pretty well.
For sure.
And Gingles looked decent the last couple games, which has been nice.
Also, wasn't that game that he brought into the one where Joe Ross let everything go to
hell and then they needed Brian Thompson to get up in like 10 seconds and get warmed up to
come into that game?
Yeah, I'm not blaming him for that one.
I mean, I think it happens, so I'm going to blame him for it.
I mean, that's fine.
You use your friend, so I get why you're not going to.
Don't bring up that he's my friend.
I know he's my friend.
They know he's my friend.
You don't have to throw that in my face.
We're going to go watch wrestling together.
In fact, when his career is over, I'm managing his pro wrestling career.
I'm looking very forward to that.
Well, Maria looks good, right?
Like, that's the guy that you got right now that looks pretty solid.
So maybe, you know, you can be happy with him.
Lois Iga.
I mean, it's falling off.
It doesn't feel good right now.
It doesn't feel great.
Thompson looks decent.
Ginkle, it still has an 831 ERA, but it looked better.
It's mostly just like I can't, I can't wrap my head around the decision making.
Yeah, he was good today.
I can't wrap my head around the decision making of putting Seawald in that scenario.
I mean, I don't.
I also don't understand Loisica coming in as often as he does when, when Tori is as careful as he is at times with guys being overused.
especially considering the Johnny Lazzani here is now two blown saves in back-to-back games.
Why him in the eighth inning?
It's just like Kevin Ginkle late.
I don't understand Kevin Ginkle coming into this game in the ninth inning at all,
considering that it felt like the Diamondbacks have consistently used Kevin Ginkle earlier in the game.
So instead of turning to him, or maybe it was matchups, but instead of, I don't know if it's
matchups because they all right-hands.
They're all righties.
I don't even know matchups.
Matchups maybe how they've handled certain guys in the past.
I think I think Ginkle...
There's not a lot that makes sense to me now.
His outing before was also in pretty high leverage.
Was it not?
Yes.
Yeah, but he did not do, but he didn't do well in that.
Well, his last one was the Ryan Nelson outing
when things started to go bad for Nelly
and they brought him in to get one out
and Ginkle just kind of blew up there.
Maybe there might be an outing in between.
I think there might be, yeah.
I think that that was his second to last outing.
or third to last outing, I should say.
But that's what I'm saying.
He looked awful then.
He was being used earlier.
And the Diamondbacks respond by putting him into two high leverage situations.
And he's been good in both of them.
Yeah, he got a hold against the Braves in that 6-5-10 inning game, the walk-off.
And then, of course, this one as well.
So he's had two straight, pretty high-leverage, decent outings in a row here.
It just sucks.
I mean, it's just not the, it's not the worst bullpen ever.
It's not.
It's not.
It just, I mean, this one I'm going to have to agree that there was some management mistakes.
And Tori didn't do a good job of utilizing guys at key times when he should have.
I mean, I still don't understand going to Johnny LaZania there in that particular incident instance.
But also, this is a guy that had a sub two ERA before giving up the run that he gave up today.
So I guess hindsight's 20-20, and it's easy to say that.
It just feels like once again, they tend not to, or they're trying very much not to over-
pitch their guys in their bullpen.
Andrew Hoffman, meanwhile,
has been stellar, and I
haven't seen much of him.
Jose Fernandez also should have been in the lineup today,
period. Period.
I don't care if he goes 0 for 5.
Jose Fernandez needs to play as much as possible,
and the Diamondbacks made a roster move today.
That seems like it's going to perhaps
keep him from getting as much playing time
as you thought he would right now with the injuries
the Diamondbacks are experiencing.
We have more to get to from this game, even though we don't really want to.
Nobody wants to talk more about this loss.
But we're going to talk a little bit about the numbers from this game on the other side of this break.
So don't you guys go anywhere?
You're watching the PHNX Diamondback Show.
Well, we can all use some help when it comes to managing our energy bills.
Things are nice now, but we all know it's getting hot and it's only going to get hotter.
We're not even in summer yet, folks.
Summer doesn't start until June.
And this is how hot we are.
Meanwhile in New York, they have to change games because of how cold things are at night.
But you live here in Arizona.
And, of course, if you want help with your energy bill and those rising temperatures,
make sure to check out the rate plan options that APS has to offer.
APS has several ways that they can help us do exactly that, budget our bills and save some money here.
APS customers can check the monthly plan comparison section on their energy bill every month
to see which rate plan could have saved them the most for that month.
or it also can confirm for you that you are on the best rate plan for your particular usage.
Rate plan options that can help you save money.
They're all right there in the blue type on your latest energy bill from APS.
Plus they have budget billing options, which can also help you average your bill throughout the year.
So when you do get those spikes with energy usage in the summer, you're not going to get hit with those huge energy bills during that time of the year.
So find all of your options to manage your bill at APS.com slash let's talk right now.

How old are your windows? Do you even know where they're good in?
I got no clue, Derek.
You have no clue, right?
I know mine were probably installed when, you know, my house was built as many, as many people were.
So, of course, if you are looking to save some money, new windows can help you do that.
And the window depot has been serving Arizona since 2002, started with windows.
Now there's so much more than that.
They have flooring, luxury vinyl plank flooring now available at all stores for like $2.30.30 a square foot ready to take home today.
And again, that's the reason why contractors love the window depot.
Not only do they have unbeatable prices, but they have job site ready quantities ready to go in stock at all times.
Plus, they do have in-house designers that can help you get started on your project.

friends at bet 365 let's take a look by
at the numbers from this series.
And of course, they, or this game, not this series.
They don't look great.
They don't look great at all.
I mean, the Diamondbacks are arguably the better team, Derek.
I know.
That's what makes me frustrated.
The Diamondbacks out hit the Mets nine.
We left 10 runners on base, man.
Yeah, they definitely have plenty of opportunities going two for 10 with runners in scoring position.
The Mets go two for seven.
The Diamondbacks have two extra base hits to just the one for the Mets.
and Diamondbacks also had a higher expected batting average there at 284 to 220.
But the only number that really matters, Damon, is the one at the top.
New York Mets outscore the Diamondbacks four to three.
But we did have here the ABS challenges.
Diamondbacks, of course, were one for two today.
And guess who got there is wrong.
It was Gabby.
It was Gabby once again.
Shocker.
Shocker.
And Derek, it missed by like one and a half inches, too.
I was looking on baseball savant wasn't even close.
And Gabby challenged it, of course, because he stinks at it.
Because he's the worst challenger in the league.
I swear, didn't we have this as a question before the season started?
We were like, who was going to get the most ABS challenges, right?
And we were both like, Gabby.
Well, I mean, he's going to have the most opportunities to, but he gets all of them wrong.
Unfortunately, we didn't have that clocked yet.
Yeah, we knew he, yeah, we knew he would take a lot of.
opportunities, but we thought those opportunities would turn into success.
And guess what?
They very much, very much did not.
I mean, it's a big inherent advantage slash disadvantage to have for sure as a catcher
that understands the strike zone really well and, you know, can challenge these calls.
And yeah, Gabby's been pretty putrid at it to start this season.
Here's what we will say.
And let's come back to me.
The challenges, Damon, and this is something that has frustrated you.
It really, yes, is about getting them right.
and not blowing your challenges, as we saw today,
that challenge was a complete game changer.
This would have been in a normal baseball game last year,
we would have spent the commercial break
screaming and yelling about the strike zone.
I would have gone on to game day
and done a little fun little screenshot,
and I would have posted it from the account,
and I would have let people just rage on
about umpires being terrible
and the Diamondbacks getting screwed in a big moment.
Instead, Adrian Del Castillo successfully challenges that call.
And like we said earlier, when we gave the ABS challenge system, the Kingsnake,
it turns into two hits and three runs scoring.
It was pivotal in today's game.
And I just think that there is something to be said about how the Diamondbacks are approaching this ABS system.
Like, don't get me wrong.
The big reason why that was such a big moment is because the strikeout,
of ADC looking, ends the inning with bases loaded, and it's a big moment, right?
There's going to be lots of moments, lots of calls throughout the year,
where it's going to be more of a 02 with no runners on and one out in the second inning kind of thing.
And those calls can still be just as pivotal.
I know the Diamondbacks want there to be high leverage.
They want there to be stakes.
They want the call to have a big impact on the game.
but I think their hesitancy here to use the ABS challenge system
is going to be a problem as the season progresses
and hopefully that's something that changes.
Hopefully what we see is Tori LeVolo adapt to the usage of this
and increases it regardless of the success rate.
What we need to see is the Diamondbacks use more, the challenge system more.
Win or lose, right?
They just need to not think of it as being like this,
thing that they have to be so careful with, you know, and fragile with and like,
always got to have, you know, late challenges and such, right?
Like, that's not something that needs to be the case.
Challenges that happen in the third inning, the fourth inning, the fifth inning
can be just as impactful as a challenge in the eighth inning or the ninth inning.
And I get it.
You don't want to leave, you don't want to be left with a tour.
As they say, they brought this up several times.
They don't want to be left with a Geraldo Pernomo situation from the WBC,
which really hurts me and Damon more than it hurts anybody else to say.
We hated that moment more than anybody else.
But again, I get that.
At the same time, you can't underappreciate or I guess underestimate
how important using a challenge earlier in the game can be.
And that's what kind of is bothering me about the Diamondbacks' lack of a game plan here.
But it's also another day where it's frustrating because they wasted,
get another powerful start from one of their, you know, one of their rotation guys.
That gallon looks really good.
Didn't have his best stuff today, but still found a way.
And you feel like that's the case with a lot of these guys.
With Dan Heron leaving the team and a change in pitching philosophy,
it does feel like things are going the Diamondbacks way.
In fact, even with the blown save, which, again, we know is Johnny Lazzania,
Even with obviously, you know, our guy there late giving up the game.
The bullpen has actually been better.
It's just been kind of, I guess, asking them to do entirely too much.
It feels like every time the ball is handed over to the bullpen, it's a one-run game.
And I don't really feel like you should expect a lot of success when that is what you keep doing.
But I do feel like the changes they made this offseason.
You think that bringing in Jeremy Blyshin and changing their pitching philosophy here to be more about their pitcher's strengths rather than batter's weaknesses seems to be paying dividends.
It's just now, once again, in classic Diamondbacks fashion, something starts working so something else needs to break.
And now that's because, you know, you got like a damn situation.
You're plugging one hole, you fix the starting pitching a little bit.
You get them back on track, and now the offense can't support them,
can't give this team a significant lead in a game.
And we're still screaming about the bullpen because the bullpen isn't perfect going out there.
But don't get me wrong.
Looking at the bullpen numbers, I'm not going to take out James McCann's numbers.
I'm not going to take out Joe Ross's numbers.
The Diamondbacks still have one of the worst bullpins.
in baseball right now.
And that's something that they obviously need to correct
if they hope to have any kind of chance at winning,
especially with the way that this offense is performing
so far this year.
Yeah, I mean, I think that the, you know,
as we've talked about, the relief pitchers
haven't necessarily been horrible.
They haven't been good, but they haven't been horrible.
Right.
And so it's hard to sit up here and look at a team
that we expected to have a top 10 offense
that is, you know, really, really struggling at the plate.
and say, yeah, it's really on all these bullpen arms for every single one of them not being able to hold the lead.
Like, or being able, like every time going out there and being able to hold the lead because that's just not realistic.
That's not how baseball works.
So, yeah, I mean, I think that it's definitely, if you're trying to put more blame on something, it's more of an offensive issue right now than a bullpen issue.
But it is funny to see some people in the chat that just don't know anything about clearly the organization that they seemingly care so much about.
out being like, would changing the guy who, you know, works with every pitcher on the team
actually be a difference in how the team changes their pitching philosophy?
Yeah, I actually think that might have something to do with it.
And we've seen a big improvement from the starting pitchers so far this year.
So if you're trying to look at cause and effect type of scenarios, that seems to be something
that has changed from last year to this year and that has gotten better clearly.
So I think the starting pitching staff, as we talk to.
about all offseason, probably better than they were getting credit for.
And they've had a phenomenal start to the season.
Better than any of us could have expected.
I agree.
But the offense has to get up the snuff.
Especially the guys that most people put at the back end of the rotation,
including us, and put as like the first ones out once, you know,
injured pitchers started returning.
Eduardo Rodriguez, Michael Soroka, those guys have been lights out.
They've been incredible.
100%.
And again, at E.R.
not getting the run support that he deserves,
and that's kind of been a big problem
as far as his lack of success for getting the wins.
Gallen looks good too.
I mean, other than game one against the Dodgers,
Gowan has looked pretty damn good.
So I think that that's encouraging,
and it makes you feel like your team's going to be relevant
because if our pitching staff stays playing this well,
this team will be relevant.
They just got to start hitting better,
and it will happen.
It just doesn't feel like it right now
because of how poor the hitting has been.
But it's as something, somebody else put this up here in the chat earlier, Derek.
And it's very true.
When you get back to the bottom third of our lineup and it's like you're looking at
Alec Thomas, Jorge Barrosa and Tim Tawa or something like that.
I mean, teams are laughing at us, laughing at us with the offense production we have
in a third of our lineup.
And that's what's also really killing us right now is it's not only like the Jerry's not
hitting, but it's you just, the back end of this team is just simply really not good enough.
Mays Devil says also, holy hell, the losing pitch to Maricio was terrible.
That's true.
So bad, Mays Devil.
Also brought, I mean.
O2.
So were the two above, like the two before though, 89 to 90?
Those were just high in the zone.
I will say, though, that I agree with Kellyn.
I do think it's the reliever's job to keep the lead.
The offense provides in a one run, one run lead in a one run game.
You're not wrong about that.
I agree with you on that.
No one's disagreeing with that.
It's just like you, it's hard to ask.
that day in, day out.
No bullpen is going to give you that.
No bullpen is going to hold every single lead
and hold every game scoreless.
And if they did, they're the most incredible bullpen
to ever pitch in Major League Baseball.
Right?
So that's not what you can expect.
You have to expect your team to be able to fight back.
You have to expect your offense to be able to have some life.
And quite frankly, again,
this all comes down to,
Diamondbacks will have lost this game
two to nothing or two to nothing or three to nothing
based on the way that this offense was performing
if ADC doesn't challenge that pitch.
Yeah.
Right?
He goes down, strikes out.
Maybe ADC because of how quickly or how soon he or, you know,
the small amount of at-bats he's already had.
Maybe he questions himself.
Maybe he doesn't want to burn one of those ABS challenges
because of something Tori says about how important they are later in the game.
So maybe he doesn't challenge it in that moment, right?
Then the Diamondbacks go scoreless in this one and they lose this one to zero.
So I do agree that we would have won if Fernandez was starting, though.
I also agree in regards to what we said earlier,
Dan Heron hasn't really, like changing Dan Heron out
and parting ways with Dan Heron was always accompanied by the Diamondbacks kind of adding in that caveat
that they were changing their philosophy.
So when they said that they were changing from, you know, again,
pitchers are focusing more on a batter's weakness,
rather than a pitcher's strength,
it was directly connected to Dan Heron's analysis
and the way that he was preparing pitchers
or helping prepare pitchers
because he's not the pitching coach,
so it's not his job at the end of the day.
But still, a lot of the information was coming from him.
They trusted Dan Heron, who's been with the team for a while,
and just felt like it was time for a change,
especially bringing in the pitcher, the pitching director
for the pirates and Jeremy Blige.
Overall, I think that the pitching has improved,
and I think that their change in strategy has lent to that.
I just still think that, once again, this bullpen,
even if they're better than we expected,
even if they're better than anticipated,
they're still not going to be a very good bullpen.
So we can't expect them to constantly hold one-run leads,
and that's the reason why the Diamondbacks offense needs to figure out a way
to come together here, put together some timely,
hits. That was a big, big part of today.
It's not like this three hit
game for the Diamondbacks.
They had plenty of opportunities with runners in scoring
position as we addressed. This one was really
about just being able to put
together their nine hits
and have some of them all occur in one inning
so that may be some more runs other than
those three in the fifth inning, you know,
come across home plate there.
But shout out to Coolbro.
I saw as Coolbro has some super chat. We got way more super
chats before Cool Bro too. He has some
earlier ones in here as well.
Cool bro says, get Seawald off this team, please.
Sorry, there's nothing, unfortunately, I can do about that.
Shout out to Mr. Steven as Mr. Steve Nash, MVP, too.
He says, I don't get Hazen.
We have some nasty arms in Reno, and don't we bring up some dudes to some of these guys to the majors?
Hazen brings up dudes like Rashi, who throws 91 miles per hour in 2026.
I don't understand Hazen at all.
Steve Nash, we're going to give my guy, Derek, a little bit more help next time.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's trying here, but it's...
I don't have water, and on top of that, I'm very confused when sentences don't make all the sense in the world.
But I get what he's saying, though.
Like, yes, the Diamondbacks do have some nasty arms in Reno.
And also, I think it would make a lot of people feel better to see Cade Stroud on the Major League roster,
considering what Lays Alexander is doing for the Orioles, rather than having him in minor leagues.
because that seems to make this whole situation feel even worse.
And Cade Stroud so far has been pretty good.
It's a very limited sample size, but I don't know.
I mean, I still don't understand particularly trading for a reliever
that you intended on not bringing up to the majors, right?
Like, that's kind of crazy to me.
I know they had a competition.
I know they felt like the major league experience of guys like Loisiga
and Joe Rock.
Ross mattered or we're going to help this team win ball games,
but as we saw with Ross, it most certainly did not do that.
And Loisika has been good, but maybe he's not the guy that the Diamondback
should be 100% relying on in high leverage situations.
I feel like they've gone to him more than anybody else.
So I guess he did prove some things and has been good, but faltered today.
Kellen Dew says, oh, congratulations,
by the way, celebrating six months of PHNX supporters club membership.
Appreciate you, Callan.
So much.
He says, I'm just so tired of blown saves.
This has been the death of debacks for years.
They're easily a 90 plus win team in 24, 25 without the blown saves.
Totally right, right?
And you can't expect a team to have zero blown saves.
It's not necessarily a valid expectation, but you can't have a lot less than what the
Diamondbacks have had in the last two years.
I mean, especially last year.
Last year you blew, I mean, almost every game you lost you had a lead in, it felt like.
Oh, God.
Last year was a disaster.
But, I mean, this year just, frankly, it just hasn't been as bad.
It's just that the offense is not the number one offense in baseball right now, which I think.
Five or top ten offense.
Yeah, no doubt.
It's one of the worst offenses.
It totally is.
You got to be an above average offense to help out a bullpen that you know is going to be below average,
but maybe not horrifically bad that it's going to just, like, destroy your team.
but we know that this bullpen is not going to be quote unquote good.
We need this lineup to be quote unquote good.
That's definitely the truth.
That is definitely the truth.
Well,
Dback's offense looks like Arizona versus Michigan.
Cool bro is just,
he's crushing it.
Can we get a John,
can we get John Curtis as his last one?
I mean, of course we can get John Curtis.
John Curtis is always there.
He's always watching.
He's always waiting for his opportunity.
He's always listening.
But do you really want John Curtis?
Oh, sorry, John.
Sorry.
Maybe we do want John.
I don't know.
No, John Curtis is like having Paul Seawald out there throwing 90.
Same thing.
Same difference.
Yeah, I don't love it.
I don't love it.
But, Damon, let's take a quick break on the other side of this break.
We are going to talk about the roster moves made today that only seem to add to our sadness
instead of making us feel better about anything.
You are watching the PHNX Diamondback show.
Well, today is definitely a pure edibles day, Damon.
It might be a double pure edibles day if you know what I'm saying because I might, I might
need to elevate my mood and get some sleep. And of course, pure edibles has an edible for that.
They have a delicious line of candies with a wide variety of effects and flavors, which are clearly
listed on each tin. They also have different candies depending on what you like. Our guy,
Reese just hit me with some new foreign candy that I've never had before. Blue my mind with how
delicious it is. It's blew my mind. So, of course, you can get a wide variety of candy just like that
from pure edibles. They have gummies, which aren't covered all in sugar. They have their
version of Starburst that they call kicks.
They got soft candies, hard candies,
chews, and so much more. So,
of course, check out the full line and also
check out their collaboration with Mother Road
Brewing Company, which offers you
one of the finest IPAs in all the
land, now available in
a delightful THC, all-in-one
device. Of course, you can get those same
piney notes, or piny hop
citrusy notes, all that stuff you get
from Tower Station IPA and that
amazing 7.3 ABV
beer, but you'll get it, and
a THZ vape. So find a pure edible product from one of over 130 dispensaries across Arizona and enjoy
responsibly. Also, Shady Rae is here to make our lives easier. Summer is here. I mean, it's a year-round
thing in Arizona. We are the Valley of the Sun for a reason, and that Sun is trying to blind you.
So make sure you have a good pair of sunglasses to combat the Sun. They have a wide, amazing variety
of styles for their frames, which will make your face look amazing. They also have polarized lenses
that are crystal clear and will help block your eyes from that, those sun rays, those harmful
UV rays.
They also have one of the craziest lost and broken replacement plans in all of eyewear, where if you
lose or break your shady rays, even on day one, they have your back and they'll get you out
a new pair of shady rays.
So, of course, this is the eyewear that does, in fact, have your back long after you purchase.
Go to shadyrays.com and use code PHNXSR for 40% off two or more pairs of polarized sunglasses.
And tell him Derek sent you, but tell him Derek has his sunglasses and he didn't lose them for once.
They'll probably be pretty glad to hear that.
You found him?
What's that?
You found him?
Oh, didn't I tell you?
Yes, I did find one pair.
I was driving my car and I, like, had to, you're aware of this.
Traffic awful in the state of Arizona.
I had to break pretty hard to avoid an accident.
And when I did, magically out of nowhere.
What came flying?
None other than the freaking sunglasses.
They slid underneath my foot, David.
And next thing I know, I found my lost pair of sunglasses.
But all right.

Kellan says, the Cardinals most definitely don't love the fans.
Yeah, though, let me tell me about it.
I've been one for the majority of my life, and I don't think they've ever loved me.
But I have some roster moves to discuss that I don't love either,
and those roster moves were kind of just slid in.
before today's game.
Weird situation again with today and tomorrow's start
being moved up to do the cold weather.
But we found out today that the Diamondbacks
did in fact place Carlos Santana
on the 10-day injured list.
This was after the game on Sunday
when during his bat,
it appeared like Carlos Santana
was experiencing some sort of discomfort
with his groin.
And it was, in fact, a strained right adductor.
That is retro back to April 6th.
So Carlos Sandana now on the 10-day IL.
The move that they made in respect to Carlos Santana on the 10-day IL
was calling up infielder Lucan Baker, our big fella,
from AAA Reno to come up here and hopefully mash some home runs
and give this team a little bit of power.
It would be great to see Luke and Baker come up here
and start putting some things together at a major league level.
But the bigger news here in regards to this whole situation,
situation is that they have transferred Jordan Lawler from the 10-day IL to the 60-day IL with a fractured right wrist.
And boy does that suck.
Because, of course, the initial x-rays said that he did not have a broken wrist and everything was fine.
Initial x-rays were negative.
Then they get a CT scan on his wrist that proves, shows a hairline fracture there in his wrist.
We are told it was the best case scenario for Jordan Lawler.
but unfortunately due to the nature of healing and also due to the nature of once his hand is healed
and he can resume baseball activities. He's going to have to start swinging off of a tee
and almost starting his season all over again as far as his progression to getting back to
hitting in Major League Baseball games. They had to put him on the 60-day I.L.
And so I think we were hearing four to six weeks initially.
now that looks like it's going to be more like
eight weeks to 10 weeks.
That sucks.
Luckily, the Diamondbacks do have Lordus Gurriel returning soon,
but this just feels like this is the fate that we're damned to,
that this organization is damned to.
Just as much as we can sit here and look forward to returning guys from injury,
look at how many players the Diamondbacks have already
lost this year. Corbyn Carroll
due to a hand injury. Merrill Kelly
due to a back
injury. You got
Paven Smith lost
now due to injury. You have
Carlos Santana lost due to injury.
I mean, it just keeps
adding up. It just keeps adding up
and it just sucks, right?
So it doesn't
feel great. It doesn't
feel as bad as it did last year
considering the importance of pitching.
However, it's just
unbelievable that the two guys the Diamondbacks expected to platoon at first base, both gone.
And you also don't have your converted outfielder who essentially was put there due to an
injury to another one of your outfielders.
Oh, just can't ever, it feels like we can never get out of this particular injury that we're in.
And man, I would love to see it.
But anyway, that's all we got for you guys today.
We appreciate your time so much.
Hopefully we don't have more roster news or more injuries to discuss.
And hopefully the Diamondbacks can find their bats there in a very, very cold New York City.
Maybe the earlier time might be when they need to score.
Like try to get your runs in in the first, second and third injury innings before things get cold.
But we thank you guys so much for your time.
We appreciate you.
We'll be back again tomorrow with another postgame show.
In the meantime, you can follow us on social media.
I am at cap underscore caveman with a K.
Damon is at Damon Dog with a DAWG,
and we are all Damon's dogs,
no matter what studio we're in.
Bark, bark.
Our show is at PHNX underscore D-Backs,
but as always, all roads lead to PHNX underscore sports
on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Thank you guys so much for stopping by.
We love you.
We appreciate you.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Until then, have a wonderful evening.
Behave yourself, piece of Yoshi, and remember kids.
Baseball is fun.
But it's so much more fun when the ABS challenge system helps you win a baseball game and your bullpen doesn't lose it for you.
We got one more Superchat.
Sorry from Coolbro,
who always keeps us on our toes.
We actually forgot Cool Bros.
Superchat the other day where he wanted me to talk about how ASU won the series against U of A.
So I'll give him that right here.
And then, of course, for the Cardinals, lower the ticket prices.
Hashtag CM Punk.
CM Punk is always trying to fight on our behalf.
Not really.
Sorry about that, Derek.
I didn't mean to steal your flow there.
No, you're fine.
You're fine, but of course, you know, it still applies and he's not wrong about that.
So again, we appreciate your time.
We thank you guys for joining us and remember kids.
Baseball is fun, but it's so much more fun when you lower the damn ticket prices.
