That's worse than being bad, in my opinion. Yeah, that's true. I would rather be bad. It gives us something to talk about.

All right, Sean. I'm back. Let's get into it. Let's get it. Something big happened this week. Oh, my God. I wasn't anticipating this to happen, but the D'Andre, Aiton's saga is over.

Over. We found out earlier this week that the Phoenix Sons have traded D'Andre Aiton in a three-way deal with the Blazers and the Bucks. That includes D'Andre Aitin going to the Blazers along with Drew Holiday and to Moni-Kamara. Damian Lillard is now going to suit up with Janus and play for the bucks.

And the sons in return get Yusuf Nurek. Yusuf Nerkich. Nerkich. The little Serbian names. get me. You said, your bitch. Grace and Allen, Massey a little, and Kiann Johnson. Holy. Holy.

Couple of things I got to get off my chest real quick. First off, I hate Grayson Allen. I so very much dislike Grayson Allen. Back when he was at Duke, obviously, if you know where I went to school, Duke, Syracuse, rivals. So I got a lot of him. He was out there tripping motherfuckers, like a toddler.

I cannot stand him as a person. but he's a decent three-point shooter. Listen. I am upset. Also, Janice and Dame together is terrifying. I just want to put that out there. And then also RIP the Tumani-Kamara era.

Yeah, I was, I'm going to expose myself here. I was the most upset about losing Tumani. I'm a Tumani believer. I'm a Stan. I was in NBA Summer League and I was like, this kid's going to be so good. Maybe. That's all he did.

He was a. That's all he did. I saw the potential. I saw the potential. The potential was there. Okay. None of the NBA scouts did because he was a second round pick for a reason. All right.

You're upset about Tumani. Not upset about the, the Valley kid himself, DA getting traded away. Listen, DA's time here was very controversial. I agree. Yeah, it was. He didn't really give me the warm fuzzies. It was very hot and cold.

No, along with his performance on the court. But the last performance we saw on the court was hot as shit with the Bahamas and I was really hopeful that they were going to be able to work it out. They had figured it out. I will say, I am disappointed that I won't get to see Frank Vogel work his head coach magic and develop DeAndre Aiton because I do think

the reason that I was more excited about Frank Vogel becoming our head coach was because he's so good at developing that raw talent. And I think he really could have helped DA. and now we won't get to see that happen. So I'm a little bummed that we don't get to watch that happen. When I first heard about this trade, my first reaction was, what the fuck is happening? I think that we downgraded at the center position.

I don't think Nirkich is any better than DeAndre Aiden as a player. He also gets hurt a lot. He hasn't played more than 57 games since 2018, in a season. So between that and Katie's injury proneness fucking on wood, that makes me a little bit nervous. I,

he averaged 13.3 points per game last season with nine rebounds and less like 0.8 block per game. I'm not necessarily thrilled looking at that stat line. I just, I don't, I'm worried about the suns because we don't have a point guard. We don't have a true point guard. and I know that there's schemes that they're going to run that get around that.

And we also just downgraded at the center position. So I don't really understand what's going on here. That was my first reaction. Yeah. And then you add Grayson Allen into the mix, who is a shithead for lack of a better term. But I guess I would rather have him on my team than play against him because at least I know he's not going to be intentionally injuring my players.

Yeah. And then, yeah, Nassie Little and Kian Johnson, which is the dump. is the bench depth that we probably needed. But I was very like underwhelmed when I first saw the trade. I'm not going to lie. Yeah. I mean, I was, I was of the camp that I like as much as I wanted the thing like I wanted

everything to work out with the yeah. I think it became clear that it was like a little too far gone. Yeah. And I needed to move on. First off like maybe DeAndre Aiton is at times a better player than Yusuf Nerkich. But like this is not. not it's not like this is like the the lakers with shack and coby like this is our our centers our fourth option i like even i don't know i know we don't have a point guard whatever but like he's

going to be on a court most of the time with devon booker kevin durant and bradley beale um and if bradley bill is your third option your fourth option is probably not getting a whole lot of touches as far as offense is concerned um so there's that as far as nirkitch and his availability like d a hasn't played more than 70 games since his rookie year so like it's not like he's been playing 82 games every year. So there's that. I just think ultimately this is going to be better for what, like this is more what the sons need to do to win.

Like I don't think this is about who's a better player or who got the better players. Like I think this makes the sons a better team. Because DA can go up there on average 25 points a game. They're still probably not going to make the playoffs. Like it. So it's not, I'm not really viewing this as like, the team got worse because I don't think that's the case.

I think this moves them closer to winning a championship. And like, you need to understand the context in which I am saying this. I'm just saying this to make a point. If trading Devin Booker got them close to a championship, shut up. I would say trade Devin Booker. Obviously, there's no world in which that's the case. I'm just saying, like, the goal is to win a championship. It's not just to have the five best players you possibly can.

Like, it's to win a championship. And I think this does get them closer to winning a championship. So, yeah, like you said, I really would have liked to see it work out. I would have liked to see Vogel kind of work his magic there. ultimately, I don't think it was going to work out like that and they had to do what they had to do. Yeah. I mean, listen, I'm not the biggest DA stand on the face of the planet. I have obviously been on this podcast very critical of his performances when I felt like it was necessary because I just, the most, the thing that frustrated me the most with DA is like we saw his potential really early on in his career, especially at U of A. And I never really feel like he reached Max potential ever. And I felt like he was very passive about it too. Like I know that he expressed his frustrations sometimes to the media and he was aware that he wasn't performing at the level that he knew he could play at.

But to me, it just like, I don't know if it was just because to me it felt like so apathetic. But it just drove me insane. And I just don't know why we could never get the most out of DA. Because I think, I mean, obviously really started to go downhill when they, when him and Monty Williams had that disagreement on the sidelines during the playoffs last season. two seasons ago now. Whatever. But I'm just, yeah, I just, I'm, I'm not sad about losing DA. I'll just, I'll put it that way, but I just worry about what this team is going to look like.

Someone in the comments said, there's going to be more moves, right? You would assume more moves are coming. Yes. I mean, I'll say this. As far as the trailblazers are concerned, I don't understand why they traded for Drew Holiday. So he's going to get traded. Yeah, I mean, Drew Holiday is going to get moved. Yeah, I mean, there, I feel like you are going to.

to see more point guards move around the NBA. Whether or not the sons are involved in that, I have no idea. I'm not Gerald Gorgay, but I, there will be more moves as far as the NBA is concerned. For sure. I want to push back on one thing you said, though, as far as like, we've never, we never got the best out of DA. Like, I say that we did get the best out of DA at times, and that's the most frustrating part is you did see that he could be one of the best centers in the entire league.

Yeah, consistently. You never got consistent performance out of DA. That's the problem is that. You saw that so rarely and so few and far between, but it was like, it really, it wasn't a, it wasn't a question of if he was talented. If he was a good basketball player, it was a question if, as Connor was saying, it was all mental with him. Like it was a question of if he could get there mentally to take advantage of that. And more often than not, it didn't seem like it. It seemed like he was the kind of guy that needed to be in the perfect environment for him to get the best out of him.

And this was not that. He wasn't the guy like he's been most of his life. He wasn't even the second option. And he was going to come into the season not being the third option. Right? Like so I, yeah, I definitely agree with you in the sense that like they needed to move on

because they were not getting what they needed out of DA. And I think all again, that's why I think Nerkich is ultimately going to be better for this team because I think he is going to come into this knowing he is the number four. Right? Like he wasn't at no point really, since probably before college was he the number one, right? So I

I think he's ultimately going to be a better four for this team, a better role player than DA ever could be. And that's what the team needs. Jim Paul Edward Deidos in the comment saying he didn't love ball. He was just good at it. I think that's a great point. I feel like that is the vibe that I definitely got from DA is like it was just something that he did, but he didn't ever like show like that extreme passion for it.

Exactly. I don't think he loved the, I think he loved basketball. But like I don't think he loved it for just like what it. was like you saw again when he was with the bahamas yeah like he he he balled out and I think he just needed he needed to be bigger than just big game like he didn't love the game in the way that like a Kobe brian or devon booker loves the game right where like you could put the you could put him and any other nine guys in an LA fitness gym and he's going to go hard like I think it needed to be bigger than that for DA which I think it probably was at Arizona when he was one of the

best players in the country and it was for when he played for the Bahamas and it just wasn't that here like it wasn't the DA show yeah for the Sons and I don't want to necessarily say he was like self-centered in that regard but it just that's not what it was for him and so yeah I just don't think it was going to work out here Ted offensive in the comments saying DA looks like the guy we've always wanted him in this summer in the Bahamas yeah we I think we all are the same page about that the DIA that was playing the Bahamas a different look than what we got with him playing the sons Emma producer Emily scroll up a little bit on the comments there was one oh Colts 23 said son should have got some draft picks in an Aiton trade.

Okay, I wanted to bring this up because I, this is another reaction that I had when I first saw the trade. I was kind of surprised about what we got back for Aiton. Okay, not surprised. I feel like surprise is not the right word. I feel like it was a reflection of how the rest of the league valued DeAndre Aiton as a basketball player. And I don't think the, uh, opinion was very high, which is why you saw the return that

you saw because I think we all. all here in Phoenix thought that maybe we would be getting more for A&, but I think the league was like, no. And also when you go back to when the KD trade rumors were happening and like, DA going to Brooklyn was thinking, Brooklyn was like, no, we don't want DA. Yeah, I mean, so I feel like it's just like another sign that, you know, his value was maybe not. Yeah, I mean, he wasn't Rudy Gobert. Like, he was never going to get that hall. As far as like the draft picks, the players, like, this is a. team that's trying to win a championship this year.

Draft picks aren't going to do anything for them. They need guys like Grace and Allen for better or worse. Like that, that's just kind of the reality what they are. They don't really need a rookie like Tumani Kumar right now. You stop that. They don't. They're not trying to win a championship this year.

And so like, yeah. And so I think, again, this was a move to get them to be a more well-rounded team because the, like the top level talent was never the issue with this team. It was the depth and stuff like that. As far as DA's value goes, like, I don't know, with such a complicated trade, it's hard to really analyze how he gets valued. I think John Paul Edward Dioos is right.

Like, I, the sons didn't have a whole lot of leverage in the situation, right? Like, they didn't need to get rid of DA, right? I mean, I guess they did have leverage in that sense. Like, they didn't need to get rid of DA. They could have kept them. But again, I think this is just it made the sons, gave the sons a better chance to win a championship. Yeah. Connor saying that DA takes a.

to his value the last two post seasons. That's definitely a fair. That's true. Yeah. Like I think, yeah, there's, again, he's not Rudy Gobert. He was not going to receive like star value. And I think if you ever thought that at any point in the last two seasons, you're crazy. Yeah.

Like, I don't, that's the one thing. Like, if you were expecting more, I don't really know why. Yeah. Because we weren't talking about, we're talking about training the fourth best player on this team. Yeah. So I don't know. I wasn't surprised. There was definitely pieces that had gotten floated around that I definitely would have liked more.

I think one of the people that was discussed with Shady and Sharp and I like that would have been awesome. I would have loved him. Yeah. But ultimately, I'm not surprised that like I didn't expect much of a larger return for D.A. From a money standpoint, I love this. Adrian Yancey in the comments have a similar thought that I do. I do like the trade and us clearing up cap space for the future. But I do feel like more moves are coming to short the front line.

I hated the monetary value of DA's contract. I don't. I think it was bad monetarily. It was not a great decision just based off of the performance that he had given us so far. I don't think that he had really earned that money. So I really wasn't a fan monetarily of his contract. But the sons of, I mean, we all know that they're a very, very salary heavy team, creeping up on the cap a lot close to going over.

That's what happens with a super team. I do love that we have a little bit more flexibility with salary now. That is another upside to this. And going back to the other upside that I have kind of processed and digested now because I was, I'm not going to lie, guys, when I saw Grayson Allen's name next to the suns, I was like, but, but listen, I think that it is a more well-rounded team now. And I think they got better defensively in some areas. And I think they are a little bit scrappier now,

based off of the return that we got from Portland. And the suns need to toughen up a little. Like, I think one of the things that I was frustrated with watching them in the postseason last year is they just look soft. Like they were soft. And so I am excited that we have a little bit more scrappiness now. I think the sleeper in this whole deal is definitely going to be little. I think he could have potential if they don't flip him for something else.

I think he probably could be their best perimeter defender if, given that opportunity. He also shot a career best 37% from the three point range last season. So I think Little has a high ceiling. It could be the sleeper part of the seal. So I think they are a little bit more well-rounded as a team. And I think they got scrappier. I just have to accept the fact that Grayson Allen is Phoenix Sun.

Yeah, I mean, similar to Grayson and Allen, as a little is a guy that I also watched a decent amount back in the ACC. Yeah, I'm like you're trying to his suit. that was a good get as far as I was concerned like outside of obviously Nirk who's going to be our starting center presumably like little was what got me

excited about this trade and like I know I've been shitting on Grayson Allen but like at the end of the day he is a pretty solid basketball player he is an NBA basketball player She's a dirty dirty little guy yeah Colts asked if we'd rather have Riegobert or NERCy I would much rather have Rudegobert Oh no what do you mean? Ritobar is the best

defensive center that's been in the league in a long time. He's one multiple defensive player of the years and that's exactly what this team would need. They didn't need him to be anything other than a brim protector. That would be awesome. But I mean, I've had enough. I'm tapped out with controversial players.

Yeah, I mean, Riegobert is kind of a clown. So I, in that sense, I'd much rather have nerky. Like, I want a guy who's just invested and not bigger than the team, but. Someone in the comments, I think it was Ryan. This is the last thing I'll say before we round out the son's conversation and move on to debacks. He said something about, go up a little bit more, about how the Sons haven't had like a good center since

Amari. Amari. And I just like want to know like why the Phoenix Sons are allergic to really talented center. Yeah. I mean. Like what? We've been cursed with the center position. Like Amari truly is the only right.

Yeah. I mean over the last however many years like how not a lot of teams have like really dominant centers. So there's that. But I mean, yeah, it is that is true. Like this has not been a franchise. that's been blessed with a lot of dominant centers like some other franchises. Yeah.

And so, yeah, he was, yeah, I don't think you can really argue with that. Like, he was the best center they've had since Safari. But also, like, DA's the, or, like, that's true for, like, everyone on this team. Like, all of them are the best at their position since those teams.

Like, since the seven seconds, like, the team was bad for a really long time. So, like, there's not, you're not going to find anything on this team. in the last 20 years, it was a better guard than Devin Booker or Bradley Beal probably or Kevin Durant or better four things. Like, it's just kind of what happens when you're the best, you have the best team that the franchise might have ever seen.

Yeah. The last thing that we'll talk about, which I think is kind of crazy. So Devin Booker's the only person left from the 2021 finals run, which is wild to think about that only Devin Booker remains. And there's only four players that are still on this team. from the 2023 postseason, Devin Booker, Katie, Josh, and there was one more.

I lost it. But that's crazy. Only four players left from last season even. Like that is an overhaul of mother overhaul. I mean, it is, but I think it became glaringly apparent after what happened in the postseason that that was necessary.

Yeah. You needed, like, again, it wasn't the top level talent that was the problem it was the supporting cast and they went and rehauled the supporting cast um and so i don't have you know i don't have a problem with that new head coach too um i i think uh i don't know this is like a brand new sons like i wish i could tell you what to expect out of this team but i have no idea i mean yeah it is a brand new sons but the same time it's like it's still devon booker katy and yeah it was the devon booker katy i guess everyone else is new and Josh Kogi.

So I don't know. It's going to be fun. Like it is definitely going to be interested to see how they all the all job because like you said, it is a very new son's team. So I'm it is weird to have such much that much overhaul, but I'm excited about it. It's a lot of overhaul. It makes me a little nervy. I'm not going to lie.

But obviously something had to change because getting embarrassed and blown out in the postseason two years in a row is not something that is acceptable. So I guess we just have to trust James Jones vision. and trust that Frank Vogel will be able to work with the roster that he's given. Yeah. We'll see how it goes. But we've got Devin Boker. We've got Katie.

Like fingers crossed. Yeah, that's going to be enough to get us in the playoffs at the very least. You get there. Who knows what happens? The last thing we'll say is Yondry Aten posted a goodbye message last night. Late last night, I think I was in bed when I heard it. But he posted on Instagram and Twitter and he said, Phoenix, grateful for the journey for the people who supported me,

cheered me on, challenged me and helped me grow to the fans, my teammates, coaches, and the Sun staff at the facility, office, and arena. Thank you. All love for the Valley. Portland, let's go. Ready for the next chapter. Excited to be a trailblazer. Well, thanks, D.A.

Good luck, D.A. Yeah. I wish I just, I wish I had more of like a, I just like, I'm, I'm relieved almost that he's not. I mean, I'm, I'm relieved that that's just over. Like if the suns suck this year, it's not, they're not going to have the scapegoat of DAA, D. DA. And I'm just really interested to see like is where the sun's at fall. Is DA going to be able to thrive in in Portland? Which I mean, part of me is rooting for him, but also part of me is like you don't want to be the team that traded away a really good player. But that's going to happen to Tomani Kamara. Mark my words. Mark it right now. I hope so. The sons are going to rue the day. Just for you. Rue the day they traded too. Unreal. But yeah, I mean, good luck to DA.

Marlins and the Marlins are just a half game in front of the Cubs. So there's a lot of movement that can still happen. Obviously, the debacks are not guaranteed a spot. But I think fan graphs had them at like a 97. Like 3% chance of making the wild card. Yeah. They have the tiebreaker over the Cubs, which is important because the Cubs basically are going to have to went out. But as Chris reminded us that we, this is Arizona sports.

So nothing, I am not counting my chickens before they hatch. Yeah. Like they definitely no, you guys, we can't do this. We're manifesting positive things. No, I think that I feel good. I think they're making the playoffs. They're going to make it. But at that. They're clenching tonight. Tonight is the night. They got to. They got to get the job done. They have to do it. They have to do it. They are going to win tonight's game and they're going to clinch a playoff birth for the first time since 2017. Which it would also be like, I think, it's important. Like, it would be huge if they can clinch tonight because then they can pitch, they can use their pitchers essentially however they want for the last two games to set

themselves up. Which is major. Which is major. Because if they win tonight, then they can skip Merrill Kelly's spot in the lineup. And having ready for it. Because yeah, as it stands right now, there's a chance that neither Zach or Merrill will be ready for game one of the wild card, which is obviously not a great situation to be in. You would really want to get that win. So, yeah, it is very important that they do it tonight. It would have been great if they had been able to do it last night, but it is they can do it tonight. It's going to set themselves up to not only obviously make the postseason,

but potentially make some noise in the postseason, which of course we all love to see. Yes. So we are going to only say good things. Charles saying 97 is not 100%. You guys, I know that this is Arizona. I'm aware that we are all Arizona sports fans, and I know that we get our hopes up just to get crushed quite often,

but I'm not letting that happen. If I have to go out there and tell Tori, and yell at the guys to get fired up or whatever. Put me in the Alfield. I will make them win. I don't care what I have to do. This is, they are going to win tonight.

They have to. They have to. They have to. In order to give themselves the best chance of making it far into the playoffs. But let's be real. Winning any of these games in the series is by no means a guarantee they are playing a very good team in the

Houston Astros who are in the in who are themselves. in the middle of a pretty intense playoff race. So the games are going to matter for them. They're going to be, they need these games as much as the B-Bats do. So, yeah, Astros currently two. Astros currently two games out of the

division lead in the AOS. So if they want a chance to win the AOS, they're obviously going to need a lot of help from the Rangers losing, but they're going to need to win out. They're going to need to sweep the, the Diamondbacks. I don't think they will. And also, they're not, I don't think they're going to get that kind of help from the Rangers.

They're going to manage to win a game. And to be fair, the Diamondbacks technically don't have to win tonight in order to clinch the spot. True. If they lose, but also the Cubs lose and the Reds lose, that means that they will still clinch a spot. So there is a little bit of a safety net that if the Diamondbacks lose tonight, as long as the Cubs will also lose and the Reds lose too, they will still clinch a spot. But I would prefer them to win. Yeah, just win and do it yourself. Just win.

Secure your own destiny. tonight is going to be the best night to do it because this is our probable pitching matchup. We've got Zach Allen on the mound tonight and that is definitely our best pitcher for those of you who have maybe not been watching this season. I don't know if you've been watching this team recently. I don't know that he is.

He hasn't been great. I trust him the most. I trust Merrill more than anybody right now. Zach Gowan has not been good recently. Like he hasn't. That's just he hasn't really been. He like he hasn't been good. He's just not been that great,

that trustworth. the outside of the one nine inning shutout that he had against Chicago randomly in the middle of all of that. Merrill, yeah, Chris said, he's less consistent. Merrill's the most consistent picture they have right now. So I honestly love the idea of Merrill pitching game one

instead of Zach, which I think is the situation they might end up being in just based off how the schedule plays out. I mean, it's still Zach Gallant, so I feel good that he's going to like figure it out. But I trust Zach Allen. He hasn't been that good this recently. So it would be a hell of a time to figure it out, Zach.

Like if you want to do it now and get back to being Zach Gallen, which I like he's going to at some point. I don't, that's not my worry. It's just that it's he hasn't been that gallon recently. So again, I have more faith than you do. They're going. So J.P.

France gets to start tonight for the Astros. And then the day after that, it's Justin Berlander. Yeah. He's good. So I would prefer to win tonight. Yeah. No, definitely like this is going to be your best opportunity as far as the pitching matchup is concerned.

Yeah. But again, we have seen plenty of bad Zach Gallen recently. So there's by no mean a guarantee. Offense, it would really be nice if they wanted to show up and score runs because they have a habit. They did not do that yesterday. Just going ghost. And not going to be able to do that against this Astros team. That's why I'm glad the series is at home because hopefully the energy of the crowd, people will get into it.

a Josh Jobs that are going to want a Josh Jobs. And so he's turned himself into an asset for the Cardinals, which is awesome. And then again, and he's made this season fun. Like, I think when your team is not that good and obviously not going to be competing for a Super Bowl, um, they, there's,

you just look for things to be excited about. But I think the reality is, is this team is like a couple of plays away from being three and no. And if this team is three and no and all of a sudden, all of a sudden you're like, ah, Kyle's going to come back at some point and, ah,

what can that team come? Ah, I don't know. Then you start, the seasons started looking really different. Uh, I think, yeah, Josh Dobbs has been fun. The team has been fun.

They competed the first two weeks. They realistically, again, could have, could be three and all right now. Now they have to go against a team that you could argue is the best team in football. So I'm not sure how this Sunday is going to look. But again, you go into this week being like, hey, we upset the Cowboys, who knows? And I don't think you, I don't think there is a world in which you could have imagined. You were going into this 49ers game with a little bit of a like, hey, maybe we won't be, you know, it's not going to be embarrassed.

Like it's going to be maybe this will be a little more fun than we thought. Yeah. And that's awesome. Like they gave you a reason to to stay engaged until Kyler comes back. And then again, when Tyler comes back, if this team is, you know, if this team has a couple of wins under their belt, who knows what the season looks like at that point. Realistically, the Cardinals could be three and no right now. Yeah, exactly. Those first two games were extremely win.

Extremely close. And like, again, I didn't expect them to be the couple, but they did. And I'm not expecting them to beat the 49ers. The Cardinals put the league on notice. I think they have the Bengals. week after that. And at that point, I think you very much are starting to be in the, the, when does Kyler come back scenario? Because I think that was a point that early on, I mean, early in the off season, we heard everything, right? We heard he wasn't going to come back

at all. We heard he was going to be back for week one. But I think October was really the area where you started being like, okay, it's a real possibility that Kyler might come back. And so, but even if he's not, like, I think this team is capable of beating the Bengals. I agree. The Bengals have not looked good. And, and, and Kyler, and Josh Dobbs and the Cardinals have. And so, especially from like Kyler's perspective, you don't really need to rush because this,

I'm not sure that Kyler makes a difference for this team against the 49ers. And I'm also not sure he makes a difference in a completely different way against the Bengals. Like I just said, like I think Josh Dobbs can beat the Cincinnati Bengals. And so Kyler gets to take his time and be fully healthy and fully ready when he comes back. Yeah. Which I think is. They've got a very, like, winnable schedule coming up. It goes, Bengals, Rams, Seahawks,

Ravens Browns. I'm not necessarily overly intimidated by any of those. I think those are all teams they compete with. I think those are all teams I can see them losing too. But none of those are like tonight. I mean, not tonight. Sunday I'm just chalking up as an owl. Yeah, I mean,

the 49ers are going to be favorites against everybody. They play this year. Yeah. The 49ers have the third best defense in the NFL and probably schematically are the best offense in the NFL too. So I don't see that one happening. But again, so was the Cowboys game. So who knows?

I am still waiting for Brock Purdy. I am still waiting for Brock Purdy to look like Mr. Irrelevant at some point. It's like I feel like everyone in the back of their mind. His story has to be studied. Like they have to do an ESPN 30 for 30 on this. No, they don't. No, they don't.

He's in a system where everybody has looked good. No, they don't. But at a certain point, I am waiting for him to look bad and he hasn't yet. But yeah, it's up the battle this week. But after that, who knows, they might be able to string together a couple of wins. And who knows what's going to happen. Yeah.

Well, yeah. I mean, that's another thing. I don't think this team is going to like this team is clearly, and that was always my thing. They're not bad enough to be competing. for Caleb Williams. Like, when you look at what the Denver Broncos are right now, dog water,

although I also don't think they are that bad. From a talent perspective, there's no reason that they should be losing 70, giving up 70 points. I don't understand that. I think they're trying to get Vantosa fire. That's my theory. Well, I think they're trying to probably take at this point.

But then the jets are just, obviously, they couldn't have expected Aaron Rogers to do this, but I think at this point, they're a much worse team. They're toast. So they're definitely not the worst team in the NFL, which who would have thought last season after we lost Kyler and overhauled? I never thought they were going to be the worst team in the NFL.

I've always thought that was obnoxious, but. That's fair. Ted offensive saying James Connor has been huge. Yeah. The Cardinals running game is what is saving them right now. I was worried after week one because they did not get him the ball enough and I have him on my fantasy team. Yeah.

But he has been, yeah, he has been huge. Right. It is, it is awesome. Part of why Josh Dobbs has been able to look so good is because he has a tremendous veteran running back that he can rely on behind him. And so, yeah, James Connor has been big time. Arizona currently ranks six in the NFL for running game, which says a lot. That is where a majority of our offense is being generated. And thank God for James Connor because he has a lot on his shoulders. And I think we're in the position that we're in because of that. So that is great. The 49ers on the other hand, hand have the third rank running game. So it's a the 49ers cardinals matchup is definitely going to be tough. Very, very tough for the Cardinals. Yeah, that's going to be a tough one. But one matchup I am really excited to see is Perr's Johnson Jr. versus Nick Bosa.

Yeah. I mean, I'm not really ever excited to see anybody that I'm rooting for play against Nick Bosa. He's really good at football. But yeah, I mean, it's certainly going to be that's going to be a hell of a challenge. I mean, all right, rookie, step up, buddy. Let's, I mean, to be fair, he, there was a pass rusher who was probably better than Nick Bosa on the Cowboys last week and Michael Parsons. So it's not like him in this offensive line. I haven't had that challenge.

Everyone that plays for the Cowboys is a fraud. I'm sorry. Okay, you just haven't watched Cowboys football. Michael Parsons is one of the best players, defensive players. I'm kidding. I'm just a Cowboys hater. I know, I know. But, yeah, it is going to be another huge challenge.

And Ryan's saying it's just like all the rookies that are getting valuable playing time. Yeah, it's cool to see the rookies out there. Very exciting. One thing that might be a little. little bit of a complication is Hollywood Brown was limited in practice today with a thumb issue. He is going to be a

game time decision according to Jonathan Ganon. Jonathan Ganon is going to let Hollywood Brown tell him if he feels like he's ready to go or not. And Keonté Ingram was also limited in practice today. The running back with a neck problem. Not what you want to have happening to you right now as you're about to go

into this matchup with the 49ers because although Keonté is obviously not RB1, he does. does share some of the load and Hollywood Brown is arguably the best receiver on this roster.
