Hello and welcome to a very special edition of the PHNX D-BACs podcast right here on PHNX.
Look at all this stuff, you guys.
Of course, I am your mayor of PHNX, occasionally known as Derek Montia.
This guy next to me is the vice mayor, also known as Thunderstick in various parts of the valley.
He is Jesse Friedman.
This is so fun, Derek.
Like, we have all this stuff in front of us.
And I'm told we're going to give all of this stuff away on the show today.
Let's talk real talk.
Before the show, Jesse was like, oh, maybe we should save some of it until later.
No, it's not what we're doing.
We're giving all of it away.
It would be entirely too logical to save it for later and gradually give this stuff away.
Everybody needs to be here.
Derek is really tired of mailing things out at this point.
So he just wants to mail out these few packages and then we're done for the whole offseason, I guess.
One more trip. One more trip to the post office for me.
But of course, this show is brought to you by the fine folks at the Drafking Sportsbook app, America's top-rated sportsbook app.
Welcome in, everybody.
We hope you guys are here, not only for the giveaway, but for us, for the love.
They're not here for us.
I get it.
Yeah, I know.
We're making you guys decide between us and Southwest Bias, so it's already a difficult decision.
I'm not even here for you guys either.
Oh, my God.
Come on, Faj.
Anyway, good luck to all of you guys.
We're going to pick some winners throughout the episode.
What we have is a couple of different prize packages.
As you can see, we got a bunch of stuff here.
So at the end of the show, we're going to give away one.
mega prize package that includes one of every giveaway item that we have from this season left.
We have the Mother's Day hat.
We have the Cattel Marte hat.
The very special edition, only get it if you actually participate in the hot dog race, hot dog shirt.
Cross body bag, American T-shirt and the Serpientz jersey.
Also, just for Josh Hunt.
We are giving away Luis Gonzalez autographed a ball and a program from the 2001 World Series.
We also have a little Mother's Day package that consists of.
the hat and the cross-body bag.
And then over here,
we're going to have an American flag shirt,
the hoodie,
shirzy shirt, not jersey,
it's a shirt hoodie from the first game of the season.
And the brand and the shuddy,
the shuddy, the shuddy,
and the Brandon Webb autograph ball.
So I'm very excited to have you guys all here.
Of course,
before we talk about that,
we do have to talk about the Arizona Diamondbacks,
making just a little bit of history,
one of seven teams since 1900 to lose 110 plus games.
and then win at least 70 games the following season.
So they're in good company.
The Baltimore Orioles this season also did that.
They have the most substantial comeback after losing 110 games in MLB history.
But you also have the 2005 Arizona Diamondbacks team in between there and this year's team.
So the third biggest improvement behind the Orioles and that 2005 team.
And it would take after that 2005 team, Jesse, it would take the Diamondbacks just,
three more seasons to reach the playoffs
after that, right? So after
that terrible 2005 or
2004 season didn't take them long to get
back. But
you mean in 2007 when they were
outscored by like 50 runs and still
won 90 games? Look, here's the thing.
That was a fun team though. Look, they swept
the Cubs in the NLDS though
and that's something that people tend to forget
and they got destroyed by the Rockies
that was the team that went to the
World Series that was a special Rockies team.
That is what happens when you win
the NLCS.
Yes, I know, but I know.
I get it.
I guess my question for you, though, is based on this trajectory, based on this
year's team, when do you think we get back to the playoffs?
Do you think it's going to be maybe two more seasons like it was after the 2005 season?
That's the million dollar question, right?
I think that if I'm being entirely honest, 2023 is a little ambitious, right?
A little bullish.
It's a little bullish.
And not to say it can't happen.
I think there are ways where you can,
you can pretty easily get yourself to a place where,
where the 2023 diamondbacks could be a,
a playoff contender, right?
That's just the nature of having the young core that this team has.
If you get a full season of Jake McCarthy,
you know, maybe he's even better than he was this year.
If you get Corbyn Carroll coming back next year,
who I believe finished the season with the highest OPS
of any Diamondbacks player with 100 plate appearances,
you get him for a fuller,
full season, right? You get Brandon fought here from AAA. You know, maybe he comes in and is an
impact guy. And who knows? Like, if Drey Jameson and Ryan Nelson are in the starting rotation
for the better part of the 2023 season, I mean, it's hard to put a cap on how good that team can
be. And it's also hard to like guarantee anything though, right? Because they're such young players
and we've seen time and time again, guys come to the big leagues. Maybe they have some early success.
And, you know, there are some adjustments to be made.
And sometimes guys are successful making those adjustments.
And sometimes it takes a little bit of time for that to happen.
So I could see it happening in 2023.
I think 2024 is maybe like more comfortable, maybe more realistic.
Of course, there's no guarantees there either.
But it's still, I think it's great to be in a place where we can envision a Diamondbacks team a year from now, you know, being a postseason contender when a year ago, that's not.
something we ever would have said, right? Yeah, not even on the horizon for this team, not without
some drastic changes. Now, by the time we do reach that 2024 season, that would be the same
time frame it took to bounce back from that disaster's 2000s season. That's true. That's true.
And also looking at potential free agents, most of this team will still be together in 2024.
There's a lot of arbitration years and things in there. But as far as actual free agents,
We're looking at Mark Mlanson, Nick Ahmed, Caleb Smith, Zach Davies, Kenyon Middleton, and Reyes Maranta.
Oh, and Ian Kennedy as well.
So these are guys who would be free agents prior to 24?
Those are the only guys that we know might not or will not be contractually with the team unless they resign them, which.
In 2023?
In 2020, 24.
Oh, by 2020.
I was going to say Mark Malanson is definitely under contract for next year.
I was looking at the 2024 season.
He doesn't have to be.
to be, but he does. I mean, it's not an option, if that's what you're asking. It's not a team option or a
player option. It's just, it's just guaranteed. And he does have a team option, I believe, for the
year after that, which feels a little far-fetched at this point to see the Diamondbacks picking
that up for 2024. But who knows? I mean, Mark Malanson, I'm told that Mark Malanson led the National
League in saves last year. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. Maybe there's, maybe we need to
check the numbers again to make sure that's true, but he was a really, really good closer not that
long ago. And Mark Melanson, if you look through his long and storied major league career,
he's had a few clunker seasons. Like Mark Malanson has had a few years where he wasn't himself. And
if you look at the numbers, he generally bounced back the next year. So I don't necessarily think
that's a guarantee with a guy in his upper 30s. You can't really bet on that. But it's at least a
possibility moving into next year that maybe he could bounce back. Another positive.
for 2024 is that Madison Bumgardner, even though still with the team, his salary
drops substantially for that season.
So it just frees up some potential cap space for the Diamondbacks to add those, you know,
whatever free agents that are required to maybe get them over the hump maybe in 2024.
It could be a very exciting team.
It could be Patrick Corbyn's contract.
Madison Bumgarner's is not that bad.
Do you know that there's $59 million on Patrick Corbyn's contract remaining over the next
two years and he was probably
the worst pitcher in baseball this season.
So anyway, I'm getting
on tangency. Yeah, no, this is not good.
This is not good. Also, speaking of
more bad news, Caleb Smith will have imaging
done on his elbow today, his injured left
elbow to see if it might be
worse than anticipated.
Jesse actually will have updates
from that final media availability
today, so stay tuned to our
Twitter account at PHNX.
Yes. Debex. Also, the playoff
field is set for the 20
22 post season.
So let's take a look at that.
And maybe let's talk about which of these teams we're going to adopt, Jesse.
Who are we going to adopt?
Who are we going to make our team that we root for?
I'll open it up in the chat so you guys can give us your thoughts.
But Jesse, who are you adopting?
I personally, if I have a rooting interest in the postseason,
I think I'm with CT gaming in the chat.
I think the Seattle Mariners are the team that they're just, they're just exciting, right?
I mean, Julio Rodriguez, there's obviously the Robbie Ray connection there.
He's going to have some big starts for them in the postseason.
And yeah, like, it would just be so fun to see the Mariners make a deep run somehow, some way.
I know they're just in as a wild card team, right?
They're the fifth seed in the American League.
But when you have Luis Castillo and Robbie Ray, you know, that's a pretty compelling one-two punch
that could take them far.
And really, I just want to see Julio Rodriguez play
as deep into the postseason as he possibly can
because he is one of the most exciting players in baseball right now.
Jesse, people are on board with the sister city of Tampa.
Let's go.
Oh, my gosh.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Let's go.
Yeah, no.
The Tampa Bay Rays are good, but they're just like, I don't know.
Like, who's your favorite player on the Tampa?
David Peralta.
What kind of question is that?
Okay, that's fair.
What kind of question is that?
You're right.
That was a ridiculous question.
That's a ridiculous question.
David Peralta is a Diamondbacks legend that will always have a special place in the hearts of Diamondbacks fans.
And, yeah, I think there's obviously a big connection there for D-Bax fans where you're going to want to root for that team.
You're going to want to see David Peralta play games late in October.
But just the Mariners haven't made the playoffs in 21 years, Derek.
Throw that graphic back up because here's what I'm going to point out.
I mean, yes, there are a lot of good answers here, right?
I'm not going to fault you on adopting the St. Louis Cardinals for all of the Diamondbacks team members for Goldie, for the excitement of Albert maybe winning, you know, one ring before he goes.
And, you know, he's already won a ring, but more rings, I guess I should say.
You know, like, obviously there's some guys, there's some teams here we're against.
I'm sure a lot of people are against.
Obviously, the Dodgers and the Padres.
Who do I hate?
Who do I hate?
I hate the Dodgers.
I hate the Padres.
Does that mean we have to ban Nate from the chat who said Dodgers?
Yeah, get Nate out of here.
Nate Scram.
Can we do that, Jacob?
Can we like, we can't ban?
Okay.
I don't know.
Bounce him.
No, anybody on the left side there.
I'm not banning a man for having a pain.
The rays, the guardians, the Mariners, the Toronto Blue Jays.
There are no wrong answers on that side of the board, to be honest.
You know what I mean?
Like, I think for me, it's one of the wildcard teams that snuck in because not only is that fun,
but the other teams are powerhouses that, again, if it ends up being those four teams in the final,
that's probably the worst potential outcome.
Yeah.
If it's like Yankees, Astros, Braves, Dodgers at the end, then it's going to be.
I'm all in on the Braves probably at that point.
Yeah.
It's so hard to go.
Like we don't see that many teams go back to back in baseball.
Very, very rare.
So it's a little hard to see that happening.
But the Braves are a very, very good baseball team.
They are very good baseball team.
All right.
So here's what we're going to do, you guys.
We're going to, you have to be present in the chat to win.
We've told you that.
What we're going to do is we're going to randomly pay.
one of our people who retweeted the tweet.
You have five minutes to respond in the chat with your Twitter handle and today's secret
password of the bullpen.
And if you do in five minutes, we will contact you through Twitter and get that prize
package out to you.
If you're not here, if you don't claim your prize, we will move on to picking another
winner after that.
So we're going to try this thing out because this is probably going to be a whole mess.
but I don't care.
I love mess.
You guys know that.
I'm a messy bitch.
I can just tell we have some audio only listeners who are just now listening to the show.
And they're utterly, they're utterly devastated because they realized that they weren't present for the live show, even though they retweeted and liked the tweet and did all the other things.
It had to be here in person with us in the chat.
So if that's you, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
But we have our first winner, Jesse.
And this is exciting because I have a feeling that this person's finally going to have to.
identify themselves to us.
Oh, okay.
We have the winner of the Mother's Day package, which is the crossbody bag and the
Mother's Day hat, is on Twitter at D-Backs fan underscore 2, Brandon Fott-enjoyer.
That's right, Brandon Fott.
We know it's you, and we know you're the guy that's been in here claiming to be Brandon Fought.
So you have five minutes to tweet us your handle along with today's special password of the
bullpen.
And if you do that, we'll get that price package out to you.
Otherwise, we will choose another winner.
And here's the thing.
Don't do that.
If you want to think, oh, hey, I'll claim his prize.
Why would you do that?
Because we're going to contact him through Twitter.
So don't respond with that unless you're that person, please.
It's going to throw us all off.
Again, Brandon fought.
You have five minutes.
So, Jesse, what else do we got?
Oh, we have a website.
I don't know if you guys know.
Go phtonx.com.
We do have a website.

still no word from brandon five
we have a couple of people saying
We hear in the chat.
Oh yeah, you hear, but Brandon Fott ain't here.
But yeah, this one is, this one's going to be a complicated day.
So what else we got, though, Jesse?
I mean, that's not it.
We want to thank you guys for being here in the chat.

That way you don't miss whenever we go live and give us a little thumbs up.
That way we can feel special about the amount of people that stopped by for our giveaway
today. Yesterday was a special day in the life of a lot of Arizona Diamondbacks players, but most
importantly in the life of former Arizona Diamondbacks player, Stephen Boat, who homered in last
nights in his final major league at bat of his career before retiring. And yeah, it's pretty, I'll tell
you this much, it was a pretty incredible moment. We have his kids announcing him for his last walk-up.
Yeah.
Just a real special baseball moment, right?
Yeah, his kids are also adorable.
If you've seen like the video version of them, like, all huddling around the microphone.
It's quite a moment.
Yeah.
Stephen Vaux is honestly, and I had the opportunity to interview Stephen Vote a few years back.
And frankly, the reason that Stephen Vote is so beloved is because he went to Azusa Pacific University, which is also where I went.
There's something about that place that just everyone who goes there is just a
nominal human being. But you can talk to basically anyone who has met Stephen Vaux or interacted
with him in any way. And they'll tell you that Stephen Vote is one of the greatest baseball players
that they've ever met. He's such a nice down-to-earth guy. And he's just beloved by everyone
in baseball, pretty much. If you've interacted with Stephen Vaux, you absolutely love him. And just seeing
him around first base yesterday, I've watched the Stephen Vote home run video over and over probably like
25 times at this point.
And just the way that he celebrates, he looks like a little kid, like rounding first
base.
And Stephen Bowt at this point in his major league career is probably no longer that.
But it was just so cool seeing him celebrate that moment and all of his Oakland athletics
teammates coming out of the dugout to greet him.
How can you not be romantic about baseball there?
It's just one of those perfect, perfect moments.
Yeah, it was a definite moment.
It was an incredible moment.
And of course, you know, again, it's, we're not even calling this one spying on our exes because I just think it was one of those moments in baseball that really is what the game is all about.
It's kind of like what we've talked about with even this Diamondbacks team, right?
I mean, someone's been in the chat said it.
It was so cool how happy the 1,000 fans present were.
Right.
Yeah, like, I know.
Yeah, there weren't many.
It's probably accurate, right?
But at the same time, you know, with this team, there are moments, even last season, when things were so dreadful that you just had to enjoy, right?
You know, you had to kind of laugh and enjoy the bum gardener no hitter in seven innings.
You know, the actual no hitter that occurred later that season.
But like, again, there's, that's what baseball is about sometimes.
Yeah, your team might suck.
It might not even have a chance to be close to playoff contention or anything else.
But what a moment for those Oakland A's fans.
and what a moment for, you know, for Votes family, you know, to be there present for that.
Yeah.
And for him.
Like, that's just something he'll never forget as long as he lives.
Stephen Vote is, is at least in my mind, a prime candidate to be a major league manager at some point in the probably
not too distant future.
So I don't know exactly what his plans are after he retires from baseball, but I've heard a lot
of people say that about him, that he would make a perfect coach or probably eventually manager
in the big league.
So I don't think this is the last time that we've seen Stephen vote on a major league field.
It's probably only a matter of time before that happens.
All right.
Well, five minutes has officially passed.
So I've actually picked a new winner for the Mother's Day package.
And that winner is Ben B-L-L-E-N.
That's B-L-I-K-L-E-N.
I don't know if that's you, Ben, or if there's a different Ben.
Don't lie to us, Ben.
Don't lie to us, Ben.
We're going to contact the one on Twitter.
but Ben Bickland, if you have five minutes, if you're here watching live, to go ahead and message us in the chat.
Of course, the code word is the bullpen.
And once we do, we'll get that prize package out to you.
Or we might have to choose someone else.
You guys are, remember, there was rules.
You had to be here.
There were rules.
There were rules.
Thank you to those go.
He's at least cheering on the other Ben.
So I like when Ben's unite.
That's a good feeling, though.
All right.
Brandon, if you know Ben, give him a call and tell him to hop on here.
Yeah, if anyone knows Ben.
Yeah, he's on the clock.
Got till 1125.
This is not going well.
This isn't going great.
All right.
We'll just start picking people from the chat that aren't here.
We also can go that route because apparently people don't read directions anymore.
No, there's a lot of people that didn't actually follow us either.
So you know how that goes, Jesse, of course.
I'm not a fan of that either.
But, you know, I think, again, the Diamondbacks this season.
Had a lot of those fun moments too.
They did.
The Diamondbacks for being a 74 win baseball team had a lot of incredible moments throughout the year.
Like there was the Buddy Kennedy Grand Slam.
Yeah.
The Seth Beer Walkoff on opening game.
On National Beer game.
Yeah.
Like that was such a.
Beer, beer, beer.
That was such a poetic moment.
It was so great.
Sergio Alcantra's walkoff three run Homer, which was only a couple weeks ago.
That was a pretty great moment to.
Corbyn Carroll's debut.
with the epic two run double late in that game where the Diamondbacks put together their biggest
comeback win in franchise history.
There have been a lot of pretty cool moments.
Like the Diamondbacks were not that great of a team in 2022, but I think there's a lot of
a lot of pretty fun memories to hold on to for a long time.
Well, and it's, you know, of course, there's also the future to look forward to.
I had a great chat with Sean DePause before the show started.
He went out to an Arizona Fall League game.
And he was a little bit, he was a little bit amazed by how simple it was.
Yeah.
He had to look up on his phone to see what like pitch counts were and what the box score was because they didn't even have it up on the screen.
It's definitely an experience, you guys.
I think that's the reason why I compared it at one point to when I was to spring training as a kid.
Right.
Because even though they're still in small parks.
Back before spring training was spring training.
Right.
Like an event.
Now it's mob with people.
Yeah.
Now it's an event.
It's a cultural event to get out to, you know, if you're here in Arizona.
But, you know, again, that's why you can also see during spring training games how few people are actually paying attention and how many are just out there having a good time now that the weather's getting a little bit warmer and they can hang out with their friends and family.
Right.
So there's just something special about Arizona Fall League, the ability to go there and have no idea what's going on because the only voice you get to hear is the guy that says now batting number 77, right?
The best part about going to a fall league game is having your phone and looking up every single player who comes to the plate or is on the pitching mound and trying to figure out if they're on a top 30 prospect list.
Yeah.
Like that is that is just part of what you do at an Arizona Fall League game is you try to figure out the prospect ranking of every single person that you see in front of you.
And a lot of times there's a lot of very highly touted prospects in that league.
So it's it's a lot of fun.
Also, CT Gaming mentioned in the chat, a couple people mentioned in the chat, Zach Gallen's scoreless streak, which of course is arguably the best storyline from the 2022 Diamondback season.
So it's a pretty, pretty fun year, Derek, all and all.
If you guys are here, comment in the chat and say hi.
I'm going to throw you guys into a wheel and we're just going to start picking names from people who are actually here right now because I trust you guys all went out and tweeted.
You wouldn't be here if you didn't do the, if you didn't follow the rules.
So, so far, G-Sel, nobody won.
We still have a few minutes for Ben Lilkin to pop in.
I think we should just keep doing it this way and just.
Yeah, see how long we can make this show go.
Yeah, I'm with it.
You know what I mean?
But yeah, so we have, I'm trying to get everybody in here.
There we go.
This is definitely the most efficient way to do this.
I'm doing this way.
Jesse, entertain the people.
I'll entertain the people.
I mean.
I will talk about the article.
that I wrote, which released last night.
I wrote about Merrill Kelly,
and obviously he had a really nice start,
and Riley nice finish, excuse me,
to his 2020 season with six innings
and one run allowed in his last start of the year.
And I basically just wrote about the fact
that Merrill Kelly used to be like this innings eater guy, right?
Like not that long ago,
in fact, I would say entering the 2022 season,
we viewed Merrill Kelly as an innings eater,
who was more of like a mid back end starter, right?
Like it was more about the number of innings that he gave you and how durable he was
than it was like necessarily the quality of those innings.
But in 2022, Merrill Kelly just took his game to an entirely different level, right?
I mean, a 13 and 8 with a 3.370 RA and a 114 whip, those aren't the numbers of a number
four starter, right?
Like those are the numbers of like a number three starter or.
arguably even a number two starter at that point.
And both he and Zach Allen are under team control for three more years.
That's so good.
And it's been, yeah, it's like, it's been a while since the Diamondbacks have had a one-two
punch like that under control for several seasons.
They're going to be affordable.
And on a side note, the Diamondbacks look like geniuses for extending Merrill Kelly last
winter like they did.
It was two years, $18 million with a $7 million team option for $20.
That's an absolute steal for a guy that just posted a 3-370 RA for 200 innings.
Daniel Kasten says, great article, Jesse.
Yes, I'm brown-nosing for a prize.
Daniel Kasten just entered himself two entries into the content.
All right.
Well, five minutes is coming gone, so it's time, y'all.
You're here.
We're here.
We're spinning the wheel.
If you enter into the chat, if someone's new here, tell us you said, hey, this one, of course, is for...
it's stopping on this is for the mother's day package oh and this package is going out to our friend
brandon king hey brennan congratulations you got the cross body bag and the mother's day hat
and i'm not removing anybody from the chat so guess what because you guys are here you might
win multiple times i don't know don't tell us that brendon left in like the last two minutes right
Brendan, you better be here.
You know, I'm just saying.
Just saying.
Let's see what else.
Let's do another one.
Shall we?
Shall we do the, we have a Brandon Webb autographed baseball.
We have the American, July 4th American t-shirt.
And the shuddy is what we're calling it.
Hey, there's Brendan.
He's here.
Brandon, let's go.
Adaboy.
All right, let's click for another winner.
Congrats to Brendan on the win.
And let's see who is.
getting this prize package.
It is Ryan S.
Ryan S.
Congratulations, you are taken home.
The Shuddy,
the American shirt,
and the,
what is Brandon Webb?
Brandon Webb.
A Brandon Webb autographed baseball.
So,
right,
okay.
And we'll wait and do the last one.
We got two more,
big ones.
Of course.
We have the massive giveaway package.
Yeah,
I'm pretty sure has like a $200 value at least.
Yeah,
At least that, of course.
Meanwhile, by the way, speaking of Salt River Rafters and the Arizona Fall League a little bit ago,
the rafters lost 19 to 8 yesterday and are now 0 and 3 in Arizona Fall League.
Yeah, Jordan Lawler is good.
The rafters are not.
Yeah.
That's the early what we've seen.
It's only three games.
But, yeah, their pitching staff has scuffled a little bit over these first few days.
At least they're not our pitchers, right?
That's a good thing.
On Tuesday, Lawler went one for three with a home run and two walks.
Meanwhile, Zach Veen from the Rockies organization, he was a pretty highly touted pick.
He went four for four in the loss with a double, a home run, three RBI and two runs scored.
So he tried to pick up the lack of Loller being in the lineup and do it himself.
But yeah, that's quite a beat down 19 to 8.
But does anybody care about scores at an Arizona Fall League game?
Probably not.
I think it's a little weird.
that like they actually do have a championship game.
Like there actually is an Arizona fall league champion.
I don't know how seriously players take that.
I mean, I guess every baseball player is competitive.
So I'm sure anything that they can win, you know,
that of course they're going to be excited about that.
But nobody is sent to the Arizona Fall League, you know,
like with the primary goal of winning all of these games.
Like it's more about the individual progress that each of these guys is able to make
throughout the next month or so.
So, but everybody,
Everybody loves to win games, and unfortunately, the rafters aren't really doing that so far.
Yeah, for sure.
But again, it still shouldn't change you from going out to an Arizona fall league game.
And you know what?
I'm just going to say maybe you do it after one of the best nights sleep of your life, right?
It might be a long day.
It's going to be out there in the sun during an afternoon game or you're going to work a day and then go out that evening, maybe and catch the Arizona fall league.
There you go.
Get a good night's rest with our friends from OGs and their sleep edition gummy.
They just launched this brand new sleep edition gummy.
I mean, it is incredible.
It's flavored like aqua berry, which everybody loves aqua berries, of course.
You know what that.
Everybody's had aqua berries.
And they are flavoring your dreams with a 2 to 1 THC to CBN ratio.
CBN, of course, is a compound that not only helps you fall asleep, but stay asleep.
And we know what THC does.
So make sure to grab yourself the brand new sleep edition gummies.
And if you're not looking for a good night's sleep like that, I don't know why you wouldn't be.
But you can also pick up a sativa, hybrid, all sorts of different strains, all sorts of different doses from our friends.
at OGs. They're all about flavoring life and they have a wonderful variety of those at your local dispensary. Check them on online at OGsbrands.com or on Instagram at OGs brands. Must be 21 years or older to purchase. And also, I'm going to get this guy. When I come back, we're going to go on a haunted brewery tour over at Four Peaks because we missed the last one. So we want to scream and run just like Saul did. If you want to be terrified, make sure to check out the Four Peaks Brewing Company haunted brewery tours over at their 8th Street pub.
That's every Monday through Wednesday.
They have two tours per night, 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.
Aquabaries are grown by Aquam.
Yes, that's how it works.
I didn't know that, but that makes so much sense.
More importantly, if you don't get a chance to go out on to the A Street Pub,
grab some four peaks at your local grocery store, enjoy.
It must be 21 years or older and enjoy responsibly.
Jesse, it's time.
It's time.
Should we give away the big thing?
Let's do it.
All right.
Well, first of all, we want to thank you guys.
We've thanked you guys a lot.
But honestly, we thank you guys so much for joining us all season long.
We can't tell you how much we appreciate your support, your love, you guys being here in the chat.

We wouldn't be doing this without you.
And everybody here at PHNX, we just can't thank you enough for being members.
if you've watched a show, if you've listened to the audio podcast, no matter what.
If you've supported us in any way, we can't thank you enough.
We can't thank you for coming out to these events that we do.
I mean, we really have just wanted to try to do this thing covering local sports in a different way,
in a way that hopefully you guys are digging and that you guys want more of.
We're not going anywhere.
You know, this isn't the end for us, but we're going to be producing entirely too much baseball content.
Yeah, that's pretty much it.
Yeah, we're not going anywhere.
So, I mean, that's the thing.
You're going to get sick of us eventually.
But, of course, we thank you guys so much for honestly just being here and supporting us day in, day out whenever we do this thing.
So, oh, man, I'm, you know what?
I'm doing it.
I'm giving that we got the ball.
We have the Luis Gonzalez ball.

I'll pay the $3.95 in
$0.95 in shipping and handling if you try
to buy this one. I don't see
anywhere where it says expiration date. So I think we should try to
cash this bad boy in. But congratulations, Josh.
You are the man. And honestly,
I'm away from my mic. Yeah, nobody can hear you.
I'm away.
Josh, we can't thank you enough for everything that you've

Is Emma allowed to win the grand prize?
Is Emma here?
Emma is here.
I don't know about that.
Leah was also here earlier, but I don't think she's here anymore.
All right.
We're definitely not giving it to me.
All right.
Here we go.
Grand prize.
This one's,

All right.
Well, our grand prize of every single giveaway item we have is going to our friend
Ernesto.
Oh,

to make sure we give

And again,
we thank you guys so much
for being here,
for being in the chat.
I know Ernesto's here still.
Is Ernesto still here?
Yes, Ernesto.
Yeah, yay, yay.
All right, awesome.
Well, congratulations, Ernesto.
Can you give the rundown
one more time
of everything that Ernesto is taking home?
So Ernesto is taking home
a Mother's Day hat,
a Catel Marte hat,
a cross-body bag,
a Serpiente jersey,
an American flag shirt from 4th of July and the very rare hot dog shirt, which Ernesto,
you have to take pictures wearing this. If you can squeeze into it, it's a child extra large.
And you have to send pictures to Craig Morgan. That's at Craig Morgan or Craig S Morgan. Craig S. Morgan.
It's not the country sign. I did fit in that shirt. He did fit. He did fit. And then also one of the
shudies. So congrats to Ernesto. We will get that prize package out to all of you guys next week.
And again, we thank you guys so much for being here, for being in the chat, for supporting us all season long, and for, you know, using all of our sponsors.

Oh, are they doing Southwest Bias right now?
They were doing Southwest bias, but we, of course, stole their views.
I don't think it was Craig.
Craig is just bowed out of the show.
Wow.
I'm not sure we're ever going to let them back, to be honest.
Yeah, we shouldn't.
Craig cheated against me, and everybody knows it.
Everybody knows I should have won against Craig.
Craig's monster, and Craig hates ketchup, and he hates fun from what I've heard.
