Starting point is 00:00:01 it's not your kid buddy i got another you look look it looks just like you bartholomew you ever see a good cover band no yeah i have the unlimited soda pass it was like it just seems like a really dark tragedy it is though if you think no first it is here we go here it is ready here it is here it is here we go here it is here it is ready and welcome back to the picky boys podcast Pick it, boys. Welcome, welcome, welcome. One-third of us are vaccinated. Woo!
Starting point is 00:00:29 I'm a Moderna boy. What a Moderna baby. Got me a jab in my left arm yesterday. Right now, this arm is useless. Totally. Don't do that. Disarm? That is my leg.
Starting point is 00:00:40 That was good. That was good. But it is totally useless. Can't do anything. Very fatigued. Have the mark of the beast, you know. That's good. Good, good, good.
Starting point is 00:00:48 But like half of it, right? Yeah, only half of it. April 22nd is when I'm coming back and getting the second one, you know, give it that 95% effectiveness. Give it that a little less than a condom effectiveness right there, you know? Well, yeah, so it's a little less than a condom under perfect use. Right. Because that's how they get you.
Starting point is 00:01:11 They have a statistic for perfect use condoms, which is like 99% effective, and then typical use is really like 74%. Dude, and then there's people that are allergic to latex, and have to use the lamb's guts. It's like, yeah, they have to cut open a sheep and still refuse to believe it. Yeah, she uses a ziplock bag. And isn't that like 80% effective or something?
Starting point is 00:01:33 I think it's way less. A balloon? No, a balloon is probably more effective because, you know, that's thick. I don't think there's statistics on that. I don't think doctors will condone the use of a balloon. I think the first person to use it was a candy wrapper, I think. They used like a Snickers.
Starting point is 00:01:48 The first person? I think so. On size or full size? They had condos back in the ancient times. No, yeah, yeah, yeah. But I'm saying that step is what turned it into... Those were lambskin. By the ancient Mayans.
Starting point is 00:02:01 They'd use lamb intestines. Pretty much like the sheathing of a sausage. Of a sausage, yeah, yeah, yeah. Exactly like that. You know, it's kind of an easy concept problem-solve scenario. You know, it's like, okay, if I do this, I'm going to have another meat. How do I fix this problem? grab anything
Starting point is 00:02:20 that works. Anything that works. After the first meet I'd be like okay can't have another one. This one's cross-eyed. What's going on here? Like back in ancient times
Starting point is 00:02:29 you know? Yes. A lot of inbreeding. Very much so. Is what I read. Is what I read. Well you know they were figuring it out.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Like you know they're just going out. It's a trial and error type thing. And you know how far back you go there's only so many humans. So many people. Like eventually
Starting point is 00:02:44 if your only choice is three cousins and a sister you gotta pick one. You gotta keep the line going Imagine if we had to figure out all the things we do on a daily basis Like nobody knew Nobody knew how to do it
Starting point is 00:02:56 Or what exactly how it worked We had to figure it out that would suck You mean like fire like that far Yeah like everything like I mean they had to They had to deduce why how and why Kids were made you know Like it was You think the first girl that got pregnant
Starting point is 00:03:11 They stopped feeding her cause they thought she was just getting fat No I don't think so You think they knew what was going on You think they knew what was going on? You think they knew that she was going to pop out again? They definitely knew what was going on, because they've known this process. In order for this society to even exist,
Starting point is 00:03:26 they knew the process already. Nah, one just ran away from the tribe and popped one out. How did all of these people get here? No, I'm telling you that one of the wives that was pregnant, while they were chasing her to try to starve her and beat her down, she was getting too big. They thought she was eating all the food. She ran away.
Starting point is 00:03:43 She got away, and then she popped out a kid. She came back with a kid. And she's like, no, no, don't beat me up. I got another you. It looks just like you, Bartholomew. Look what it was. This doesn't make any sense. All of these people had to go through this process already.
Starting point is 00:03:55 For them to even be there, they had to have been born via a mother. Got to read a history book once in a while, Danny, or else you're going to have some problems in life. We're talking about the first people. Yeah, the first people. Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:09 I bet you Adam was probably just like, oh, God, Eve, lay off the pork chops, dude. Martin, I wanted you to be on as soon as you told me what happened today. Was that today? No, it wasn't today. This was, what's today, Friday? So this was yesterday or two days ago. Oh, shoot.
Starting point is 00:04:26 And oh my God, man. I'm at work, you know, all happy because, you know, that tax refund money plus payday, federal and state all hit at once. Say what's up, son. I said something about, oh, I'm about to cash these checks, talking to my coworker about all the taxes. Yeah, the money is coming. through he goes oh yeah you're gonna be like that guy who just broke his dick and i started laughing
Starting point is 00:04:48 because like it went in through one ear and out the other and i started laughing he's laughing too and then i stopped and i'm like what broke his broke man broke his where when what like yeah he's like here like i was like what do you mean here on the job site he's like yeah bro i'm like what do you mean he's like on the second floor you didn't hear i'm like dude i'm in the sub cellar i don't know what the fuck is going on in the basement i mean i'm in the basement they have me the floor underneath the basement i don't know what's going on he was standing on top of the ladder but like on the very top of a step ladder so ladders are like this and on top there's like a little yeah there's the extra ladder you can't stand there right not according to osha though
Starting point is 00:05:24 but if they not around you can do what you want but obviously he did that and what had happened was he's standing on top of the platform and his legs just and he split they split and he had fell straight this is a tall dude because i found out who it was this guy's like taller than me so he's Like 6'3", I'd say. Yeah, 6'3", I'd say. 6'4". He then had fell backwards or forwards to the floor. Oh, he had the ladder fall?
Starting point is 00:05:51 Oh, my God. So he had a ladder split, then a ladder fall? Mm-hmm. How tall was the ladder? I think it was an 8-footer or a 10-footer. Wow. Damn. That's falling from a platform.
Starting point is 00:06:00 And then just snapped. Plus, that's like... Was he hard? How'd he break the weenie? Well, that's just a joke I was saying that my coworker made, that he broke his dick. But, dude, something can't be right. If he was 6'2", 6'3", you do the math.
Starting point is 00:06:14 How high do you think the waist area for him would be? I don't know. What's the proportion? Say half? I don't know. Say half. Let's say half. I don't know if that's the right proportion.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Three and a little. Three feet. Like three feet. Three and a worm. Taking that big of a fall straight onto your, you know. Yeah, but then he fell off the ladder. I feel like that would hurt more. You know, if I was on top of a-
Starting point is 00:06:33 Dude, I don't know about that. I fell off a ladder before. It's not that bad. Dude, if I was on top of a ladder and I had the nut shot, that does sound pretty horrific, honestly. I don't know. The nut shot. Do you guys remember when the birthday parties were rampant at that one gymnastics place? Did you guys go to those parties?
Starting point is 00:06:52 Yeah, I went to one of those before. There was a bunch of parties at some gymnastics place. And I was thinking about parents watching their kids at that place. Like, I haven't had a kid to watch at this place, but I'm sure it's a goddamn nail-biter. Like a UFC final round fighting because kids are running at each other flipping if I was a parent I saw my kids doing power rolls in fact for going up. What are the to the what is it called tight? No, not tightrope. What's the trapeze? You know like a trapeze shit, and I was like my kid is like that But I swing in bar. I'd be sweating serious place
Starting point is 00:07:24 It wasn't like trapeze. It was like the It sounds amazing, honestly. As a kid, yeah, it was really cool. They had a zip line, too, in that shit. But I'm saying as a parent, man, I've been like, never again. Never again. I think you just talk to the other parents. Don't even look.
Starting point is 00:07:49 It's like looking at your kids is going to make you much more stressed. Don't watch your kids, folks. Don't watch your kids, for sure. Oh, God, I popped out. What is the craziest thing you guys ever did for a birthday party? Wait, did something just happen, or is that just me? Are you only in left ear, or is that just me? Yeah, I told you that was happening.
Starting point is 00:08:06 It's just me? Okay. Hello? Hello. As long as you guys aren't, it doesn't matter. You're not. I am not. Okay, so it's just my, I messed up the headset real quick.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Yeah, no, it's, I mean, it must be liberating for parents to just be able to get rid of their kids. That's why, like, a cruise ship is the best vacation ever. Because when you're on a cruise ship, you just, you can just let your kids just run around. Danny's a big, yeah, I'm going to go to the pool with my kids and just not watch. What if this kid flew? Okay, that's the thing about cruises, though. If you're over that edge, gone forever. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Welcome to the seas. I'm telling you, I get it. I understand what you're saying. You're saying, oh, this is actually a horrible idea. What's the worst that can happen? Your child falls into the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and never gets back. That is literally the worst that can happen. But that is not the rules of the sea.
Starting point is 00:08:57 The rules of the sea are the parents go. the rules of the city the parents go and get drunk and you have a little walkie talkie and the kids just live their own life it's very fun so you've been on a cruise before?
Starting point is 00:09:14 yeah everybody's parents did it no they did not I'm telling you they did they had teen nightclubs so you like go in it's like your own bar so this is when you were a teen
Starting point is 00:09:29 no like oh you snuck in no dude fake id it's like 10 or 10 years old probably eight years old yo i'm gonna go to the hot 16 year old bartender i'm telling you i know it sounds yeah i have the unlimited soda pass i was like dude i was like i was buying i was buying drinks for other dr pepper yeah yeah yeah danny was uh buying bottles and shaking the diet pepsi over the two liter over Give me a two liter for a table. He's got a bottle of service. Two liter Diet Coke and a pack of Mentos. You had to cut off little Tommy because he was drinking too much.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Getting high off the shug. I know how crazy it sounds, but I'm telling you, that's the lay of the land. The rule of the sea on cruise ships. I'm telling you. I feel like parenting nowadays is probably pretty easy. It's jokes. It's hilarious. Just throw an iPad in front of him.
Starting point is 00:10:22 I'm looking around at, like, you know, my nephew, and I see, like, how, like, he is, like, my sister-in-law and my brother are with him. I'm like, I wish my parents liked this. Yeah, parenting's easy now. Yeah, Matt, no, not even, like, parenting is easy. It's definitely not easy. Easy.
Starting point is 00:10:37 It's definitely not easy. You throw an iPad in front of them, you throw them on the grandparent, you throw them to an aunt. The first year or two. Don't even see them. At the point where you could give them an iPad, that's when the fun begins.
Starting point is 00:10:47 So now they talk. Dude, this right now is hell, man. I'll be in their apartment for four hours. He's sleeping awake, sleeping awake, shits himself, sleeping awake, sleeping awake. Oh, he's hungry. He eats like three times. I'm going to have his least contact with my kids. I had to change his diaper, bro.
Starting point is 00:11:01 And oh my Jesus. I'm holding him and he just gets mad stiff. I'm like, what's going on, little bud? And then he just goes, and I hear it. I hear it. That's what you do too. Same thing. Parenting seems such a-
Starting point is 00:11:13 Yeah, but I sit down, goes down the toilet, and I wipe myself. I don't have to fuck you, Martin. Dude, it was everywhere. Everyone knows what happens with a baby. And that's happened when you were a baby, too. It's not new news. Let him learn. Let him shit himself.
Starting point is 00:11:28 Yeah, go ahead. Shit yourself, little guy. When I'm holding you. The one thing is that I feel like parenting is a little bit, there's like so many critics, you know? People will be like, oh, you're doing this wrong. You're doing this wrong. And he should only have two hours of screen time a day.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Maybe he should have some of the organic apple. It's like, will you shut up? Would you stay away from me? It's one of those situations where everyone's an expert. People who don't even have kids be telling them, like, oh, you should do this. Well, actually, I have a dog, so it's pretty much the same thing. So actually, I know more.
Starting point is 00:12:01 I do this with my dog. How long have you had your kid? A year? I've had my dog six years. I've had a kid longer than you. You know nothing. You know nothing. That's it.
Starting point is 00:12:08 Leave out some kibble. Make sure they're not dehydrated. Take them out for a walk. Clean up their doo-doo. And don't touch them. Yeah. And if they touch you, punt them. Punt them.
Starting point is 00:12:18 All right, kick the baby. At least in the old days. Dude, you know what's weird to me? How people like screamo. That's weird to me. Yeah, that's like, you know. I feel old when someone says they like it. I'm like, get out of here.
Starting point is 00:12:34 I don't listen to it, but I'll give them proper. It's hard to scream like that. I want to see what's in your freaking underwear drawer. Yeah, you know, like, what do you got in there? I want to hear your secrets. There's a way to do your, like, there's a way to scream properly. to not totally fuck up your vocal cords. It's a talent.
Starting point is 00:12:49 It's hard. I'm sure it's a talent. I went to this concert once, and I did not know if my friend dragged me there, and I did not know what it was going to be. And it was that thing. It was like, and I was like,
Starting point is 00:13:01 oh, okay. It's like, oh, we're in it here. Strap me in. I guess we're here. And then, dude, those people, it's like, I feel like for a lot of music like that, it's just like sensory overload, and it's just like to get rid of the pain.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Oh, yeah, here we go. And so it's just like, they're like they're like pushing each other around it's like they made like a little pit in the circle and this guy is just yelling up in that yelling into the mic and and you know it's just uh it's a hot 20 mess you know it's a hot 20 minutes hot sweaty mess oh hot sweaty miss no hot sweaty mess hot 20 minutes i've i've heard that i've heard all of those uh and you should dude you should have seen the opener they were wearing these like alien costumes with these really weird sunglasses and they were playing like just unidentifiable synth music that just
Starting point is 00:13:47 sounded like openers are always it's like so weird i was just taking shots in the back just like let's see what happens i need a list of the places openers are always what is going on right no one likes an opening band you know yeah it's tough it's like bring out bring out the cool guys yeah i would hate to be an opening band but you know it's the stepping stone yeah yeah do you You think there's ever been an opening band that they were just like, no, no, no, keep them on, keep them on, get out of here, get out of here. Imagine being upstaged by the opening band, I'd quit. I think that's part of the thing you have to choose.
Starting point is 00:14:25 When you're choosing an opening act, you have to make sure that someone who, yeah, good not great, someone who will not outshine you, or else that's a bad look. I haven't noticed some sleepers, you know, there's that one janitor in the back that's always wanted a shot at the stage, the opening act cancels, it's like, it's your turn, kid he gets up there so at least for the concerts i go to like you know the the dj that the opening dj is usually he plays a different style of music like completely different yeah so that they don't like interfere with each other yeah right so the songs won't mix because i've have gone to other places where they had like oh i went to a straight up like a tech now tech house thing and like a guy
Starting point is 00:15:04 who came on at like seven o'clock played music and then the main headliner the dude i could tell he He was mad because he played, like, four of the same songs that this guy was playing. I was about to say, like, imagine Billy Joel is going to play or something, and then the Billy Joel cover band played. It's like, well, what's the point here? It's like, you might as well be part of it. He's like, who hired these guys? And then Billy Joel starts crying.
Starting point is 00:15:28 I had a Green Day cover band come to, like, my elementary school, and I remember the flyers. They posed it all around the school in, like, really huge-ass letters. it was like Green Day coming to PSIS 87 and the smallest letters right under Green Day was like Cover Band.
Starting point is 00:15:43 You ever see a good Cover Band? No. It's pretty good. No, I'm kidding. Cobalt Blue, I think. The fucking Green Day Cover Band that came to our school. Remember we had a Firefly
Starting point is 00:15:56 who was like, Cobalt, don't you remember that? That opening band to Snoop Dogg and then Snoop Dogg took the guy's blunt and brought him backstage.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Yeah, yeah. It's a weird series of events. I think his name is Cobalt. Cobalt. I don't even know. Was that a color? I guess so. What is that?
Starting point is 00:16:10 Cobalt sounds like some hardware shit. It seems like a superhero, electric type or something. Yeah, it's definitely, it's like a blue. It sounds like a construction company or some cobalt. You ever see that? Sorry, dude, I can't stop referencing TikTok, and no one else in my life watches TikTok, and so I just sound like a crazy person. Yes, you do.
Starting point is 00:16:30 I sound like a crazy person, but there's a TikTok of Boris Johnson, who is the UK Prime minister and he's like does your does your does brexit take away your passport and he's like no it does not but you're you're entitled to a beautiful new blue passport and i don't know it's you got it it's one of those things please believe me it's very funny had to be there it's very funny don't believe me i hate it i hate it you i mean everybody should download tiktok for sure for show it's it's tiktok is the best the best it's the best very nice it's it's made danny's sense of humor actually skyrocket actually it it's like you know it's everybody oh it's definitely everybody wants to be in on the the joke you know everybody wants and that's what tiktok is it's
Starting point is 00:17:12 like it's like a collection of inside jokes yes get in get in on the joke get in on the joke come on come on get in on the joke force yourself in on the inside joke why not i don't know daniel bust down every door to get into an inside joke he really would i'm moving what danny used to have crazy just to prove the point danny used to have a crazy obsession with snapple facts so if you open this if you open a snapple around danny he will literally attack it to the ground attack you to the ground just to know the fact we should just we should just open the snapple snapple go oh yeah it's a really good one and then just close it or throw it out yeah it's really going my favorite time was when we all did that and we passed it around the room and danny was literally
Starting point is 00:17:55 like running after the Snapple fact like I need it what is it and then it got to Kakar and he just
Starting point is 00:18:01 took it and goes oh holy shit I never knew that put it in his mouth and just bit it in half and it closed just shut
Starting point is 00:18:07 like a clam like a clam just doof right in half flat Danny took it home and took a hammer to it
Starting point is 00:18:13 these heathens they knew that everybody wants to be on the joke and so they intentionally left me out of the fact
Starting point is 00:18:21 and you know that's very rude Isn't this rude? The rest of the night, Danny sat in the corner trying to pry it open. So I chased him down. You just open it. You're like, oh, wow, this is a fact Danny would really enjoy. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:33 I used to do that with the big Snapples. I don't even have facts on the bottom. Like, wow. That just wouldn't work. And then he's like, oh. Twisted Tees have that now. Twisted Tees have the words you can make. But I guess that's not as.
Starting point is 00:18:43 Those are much less true. Also, were Snapple facts true? Yeah. Were they true? Wasn't the whole thing like a paradox? Isn't like the first Snapple fact like, oh, all odd number Snapple facts are false? No, no, no. that someone says...
Starting point is 00:18:55 That's a myth. It's a Snapple myth. It's a Snapple myth. Not a Snapple fact. Mythbusters Snapple facts. Mythbusters Snapple facts. Yeah, the first Snapple fact was all Snapple facts aren't true.
Starting point is 00:19:05 No, it was all odd numbers. It was a paradox. It said odd numbers. How is that a paradox? Because if all odd numbered... Oh, that's the first one. And it's number one, and it's true.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Oh, okay, okay, okay. I would just start making up facts and claim they're all true. Yeah. Can't be illegal. It's a Snapple fact. Some of them are probably facts. True.
Starting point is 00:19:22 I feel like the first 20 are facts, and they're like, alright, we can't just keep looking up some of them are definitely true I've researched afterwards so you know that a goldfish can only remember three seconds or something I mean they did not they have like a three second memory span
Starting point is 00:19:37 I think that was a Snapple fact or something and I was thinking about 51st Dates with Adam Sandler how she repeats the same day every day she loses all memory, would you be able to then marry that person? Also very controversial are you allowed to marry that kind of person?
Starting point is 00:19:53 someone who forgets every day and you have a kid with them? I feel like it's a little weird. Love is love, Antonio. Dude, imagine waking up every day and you think it's years ago and you're pregnant on day one and then second term,
Starting point is 00:20:04 then third term, you wake up just pregnant. That's a weird nine months. That's a weird nine months. Yeah. I'm saying, and I think Adam Sandler in that movie, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:12 every people say, oh, it was a really romantic movie. It's a couple screws loose. A couple screws loose in that movie, I think. Yeah. No? I haven't seen that in a really,
Starting point is 00:20:20 really long time. This guy. No, but it doesn't matter if you see it. It's the concept. It's the concept of someone not remembering a movie every day. She has a 24-hour memory span. Not remembering their day every day. Every day.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Yeah, but now that you're putting it like this, I'm totally forgetting the funniness in any of it. It just seems like a really dark tragedy. It is, though, if you think. No, first of all, it is. It is, if you really think about it. Also, the end credits kind of when she wakes up to her videos that he makes for her, so she wakes up every day.
Starting point is 00:20:51 they have a kid and it's just him on a boat shirtless being like we're married by the way i feel like there's something the writer's room missed something there's something wrong with the morality of this situation right yeah i guess and no one no one wanted to say no this is probably not a great idea they were just all like yeah sure it's like oh it's how we don't want to a movie rob schneider plays a weirdo fantastic loopy eyes yeah let's just have this woman i don't know weird to me it's all i'm saying i remember watching it even back when it first came out i was like you know this is you know haha haha here and there no this is weird though haha here and there and i was gonna be like yo this is serious as soon as you think about it
Starting point is 00:21:26 for a little bit it's like she had to be pregnant and wake so wake up quick quick quick recap she hit her head she only remember every day she remembers it like three years ago so every day it's the same day but three years ago the day of the accident yeah the day of the accident she doesn't remember so every day past that she just goes back and thinks it's that day still and she for reference the same and now it's three years later she has a kid with him but it's not like she got her memory back you know she goes through
Starting point is 00:21:49 the same thing every day what about the day she had to give birth yeah this is this is it sounds like a tragedy it's this is crazy
Starting point is 00:21:56 I mean that's all I had to say about it I don't know why you guys made me think about it almost a Benjamin Button type that is
Starting point is 00:22:01 almost nothing absolutely nothing also I didn't see that whole movie did he come out as an old man how did that work yeah he came out
Starting point is 00:22:08 as a wrinkly little baby yeah and then just that's weird and he aged backwards that's weird too it's also weird that this woman slept
Starting point is 00:22:16 with him and then was holding him as a baby. Another, like, is this a love story or a horror movie? It's very weird. It's like, and then the next day he just disappears? He was, like, seven years old on, like, the fucking, like, railroads or, like, the boat, like, the port or whatever, trying to work, and, like, these old-ass dudes are there,
Starting point is 00:22:34 and they're like, hey, I'm 63, how about you? He was like, seven. They're like, what? I'm just saying. Yeah, that becomes a little strange. I think you start getting a little iffy with romantic movies, I think. Also, not a good time. How many stories can you have?
Starting point is 00:22:48 How many stories can you have? How many unique stories can you have when you talk about romance? That's true. I was watching this thing and supposedly there are like five story types that just about every story that's ever been made fit into.
Starting point is 00:23:01 That really makes the world seem upsetting. That's the problem. The problem is when you become kind of like a film major, I'm sure, or even writing books and you know the beats and you know the stories and you know the tropes
Starting point is 00:23:13 and you see it, it's like, oh, I could tell you this whole movie what it's going to be like. That's what I feel like when I'm so knowledgeable, you know, I would consider myself in horror movies, that I'm given that, that, like, I can see the first 20 minutes, like, oh, I'm done. I hate horror movies.
Starting point is 00:23:25 I can't, guys. It's the worst. Fuck you, guys. We'll watch a horror movie with Antonio, and he'll just be like, oh, sister is the demon. She kills the man. And it's just like, okay, well, can you let me? It just started.
Starting point is 00:23:36 The credits are rolling. Fuck me. The opening credits. It just said who the director is. What's happening? Can you stop? I hate horror movies, and you guys torture my ass with it. Oh, they're good.
Starting point is 00:23:45 but it's very funny when you get them wrong oh i love when i get them wrong that's the best part yeah it's like yeah i remember evil dead you're like oh it's not gonna be bad this and this is gonna happen i'm like oh no i lied about that evil dead was a remake i knew what was gonna happen i'd lied about that just so you come see it oh my god sorry about that dude i was like 12 you guys we had our friend's mom take us to the movie theater just because i couldn't get in you were you were like 14 come on give me some nick's mom brought us to the theater they have to bring us anyway you have to be 17 and you can't even buy you can't you guys were good it was me who was the problem yeah i mean you're always a goddamn problem remember having to sneak into
Starting point is 00:24:21 movies yeah that was fun dude we had that was harder than sneaking into bars really yeah harder to sneak into clubs it was like who cares guy are you gonna get in trouble you're gonna lose your job i paid my fucking money we had we had our parent buy the tickets come in with us then leave still couldn't do it. Like, what's happening? I don't know. We didn't have a problem with Evil Dead.
Starting point is 00:24:42 No, not Evil Dead. No, I think out of... I don't think I've ever really... I've never gotten kicked out. I think I was just never allowed in. Like, there was points where I wasn't allowed in.
Starting point is 00:24:52 I've never, like, had people come in, wave the flashlight and their weird badge and kick me out. I don't think I've ever done that. I've never had that either. All those movie people,
Starting point is 00:24:59 they're just on a power trip, you know? Oh, yeah. Rock hard, kicking out these tweens. This leg looks very white. It's like so milky pale. I mean, you are a little pale.
Starting point is 00:25:09 I mean, smack it. It'll get red. I am very pale. I'm moving on Sunday. Where are you going? Where are you going? Like, I'm moving houses. Where?
Starting point is 00:25:15 Here. Excuse me? I didn't know that one. I'm moving to here. I'm moving to Antonio's. True. Either way, I was in my apartment building, and there was a sign on the elevator that's like, the elevator is broken for the foreseeable future.
Starting point is 00:25:29 Oh, my God. And I was like, how am I going to make things up? Throwing him off the roof. Yeah. If you have an elevator that's broken, you have to supply shotguns at the bottom of the floor because I'd rather blow my head off
Starting point is 00:25:42 than walk up these stairs. The elevator's out. Here's a complimentary shotgun. If I knew I lived in a walk-up, that'd be fine, but the fact that I am expecting, finally, just the elevator ride, and then I'm faced with Mount Everest is so upsetting. You're on the top
Starting point is 00:25:59 floor, too. Yeah, what floor? The sixth? Yeah, top floor? No, 16th. Six billion floors. He's on the ground floor He's in the basement He has to go down But it's It's certainly a thing
Starting point is 00:26:15 I ordered food and the guy came up Came up the stairs And he was like you You monster I'm gonna murder you you better give me a good tip You leave no tip No no I always tip Danny always gives the tip
Starting point is 00:26:31 I always give a good tip Danny gives a good tip. Because I was that person. I was a delivery driver. I feel like that's how it is. If you are a part of a job, you'll have way more sympathy for those people. Danny's tip after that delivery was get a different job.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Any delivery person who now tips poorly is a horrible person. Satan. Yeah, I tip. Yeah, yeah. Because when you're a delivery driver and you get, you don't know what trip's a bad trip. But then you get to the door on top of having a bad trip and you get maybe, sometimes nothing.
Starting point is 00:27:03 or just a dollar and you're like some people are so mean like i i man like come on i could never like dream of the audacity that some people had like to say to me they were just like oh yeah it took you long enough it's like well jesus man i'm just doing my job here don't shoot the messenger jesus yeah like word yeah but sometimes you know the problem with uber eats now that that's tracking them it's like oh what the hell's this guy doing like he may you're going that way you're parked for a while going this way oh you're oh your boyfriend's in the car it's like okay i see what's going on oh dude some guy i was get uber eats from some guy and he brought his kid up now that'll get you a good tip that's a good idea it was like it was like sympathy card because the
Starting point is 00:27:48 kid had the food he was like here you go and the guy was like all right come on on to the next one and i was like man i am i feel bad yeah like this is very sad i don't want no kid and so It totally worked. I dipped them like two or three extra dollars. Yeah, man, that worked. I wonder, I mean, every trip, you know, if people tip you extra. There's a lot of Danny's.
Starting point is 00:28:14 That's, you know, is that child labor? I don't know. It has to go. Why would it be child labor? Just because he let the son hand the food? I mean, he's doing half the job. He's doing half the job. He's just not driving.
Starting point is 00:28:32 He's not driving. Unless the kid was driving. Can you imagine a kid walking into a restaurant like, yeah, here for the pick up? Like, I'm getting robbed or are you lost? What's happening? Yeah, can we get the code? He has it all ready.
Starting point is 00:28:45 He's got it tiptoe to the counter. I don't know. The point is, this is the moral of the story and the moral of the podcast. If you deliver food, bring your kids. Be a man. Be a man Be a man
