Starting point is 00:00:00 it's like it's like you know i agree that's a freebie you could have an example give me some me and danny could choke out a person yeah look at that face it's embarrassing hold on just gonna steal whatever is not fucking nailed down i like the picture my dinosaur like medium rare it's not it's not it's like flip-flopped either way welcome back to the podcast for picky we got the three people back three person yeah for ride who are you i'm antonio i'm jt and i'm Danny. Oh, look at that. Aced it. Did it right this time. Aced it. We got this wide angle. Look at the thigh cam.
Starting point is 00:00:35 You like that? I'm gonna put a GoPro right here. Yeah, yeah. We need a thigh cam. We need a bulge cam. Hopefully... And it tracks movement. Yes, exactly. It can see what you know, you flex it a little bit. It tracks growing. Hopefully
Starting point is 00:00:50 as the summer progresses my thighs will be less aggressively white. I doubt it. I doubt it too. they'll just be aggressively red yeah yeah which is you know that's a color prop bet different color prop at what when we can prop that on it on what on the shade of his uh eyes by the end of the summer dude i don't know have i ever seen danny tan you don't know he doesn't know i mean i i get like i i don't tan you get slightly more red a little dark sometimes i get a little darker
Starting point is 00:01:18 yeah i really do his skin is trying to save itself from the constant i do like a i do i do an opposite so i get the sunburn and then the sunburn decreases into like color people say like oh i'm getting i'm getting good color you know this season yeah that's the word i don't know i could get very olive in the summer yeah do you ever use like have you ever used like a tanning oil i've only used it by accident it's like my sister would have let's say the array of sunscreens now just pick up one not looking spray it and be like 30 uh spf with tanning i'm like god damn You know, I don't want to do that. I put all of it on my face.
Starting point is 00:01:53 I feel like some of those things are, like, anti-SPF. They're like, we're going to give you more of the sun. If the sun is going in a different spot in this park, it will now redirect to you. You will get more sun. Supposedly, the sun care treatments they used to use in the 70s just did worse things. Like, it made the sunburn worse. Like cooking oil. They would just put oil on themselves, and it was, like, not the right kind,
Starting point is 00:02:17 and it didn't block anything and made everything worse. What does oil do? Fry you. It's just... No. No, it doesn't fry you. I mean, the science is not... Wouldn't it make it bounce off?
Starting point is 00:02:27 The science is out. You're shinier. You're more reflective. You become like a little breaded chicken cutlet now. Makes the sun slip off of you. Yeah. Because you're so slick.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Kick Ashby's son. Yeah. Nah, man. You put some oil on you. You fall in the sand face first. You get up. You look like a breaded little chicken cutlet
Starting point is 00:02:42 and the sun fries you. Can anybody speak to why bodybuilders always look like their borderline blackface? it just makes the lines more prominent one of my favorite YouTube fitness bodybuilder
Starting point is 00:02:57 just posted it on Instagram this morning no no this is Greg Doucette he just posted literally something this morning about it he posted it before and after before he black faced himself up before his show and also
Starting point is 00:03:11 they put oil all over themselves too they look shiny they're baby oiled up you're like oh Oh, when they come on stage. Turn the lights down. But he did it before and after, and it looked way different. Like, every muscle line, like these lines and insertions you see,
Starting point is 00:03:31 looks way more prominent. For such a, like, macho man, masculine sport, if you want to call it that. They're showing a lot of balls. Well, they're showing very little balls, tiny balls. There's not a lot there. And it looks smaller compared to their massive frame. That's true. Speaking of that, actually, I got a grip strength calculator.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Speaking of what? I don't know. Gripping balls? Yeah, gripping balls, bodybuilding. It's from TikTok, you know? Anybody seen this? No? So test that gorilla grip, puss.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Test that gorilla grip. You want to go first? Oh, no. I want to see what the bar is set to. Yeah, but we're sitting down, you know? So it's kind of like, you want to see my struggling face? So is there a strategy to this? You squeeze.
Starting point is 00:04:10 No, no. But is it grip over time, or is it the hardest grip? Oh, it will get your max grip. So you can just go, bah! And it will do the max of that thing. Like firing a gun. Pretend it's a little cannon, you know? Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:25 All right, so I'll go first. All right, hand cannon. I don't know if we can zoom in without it being super blurred, but we're going to do it anyway. Ready? Watch this face of struggle. Okay. 129. Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:04:37 129. So 129 pounds of force. That's very interesting. Look at that grip. This is so scary. If you're standing, you'll probably get another 20 pounds of force. It's going to say no children allowed. 129.4.
Starting point is 00:04:49 You guys are going to embarrass me. Me and Danny could choke out a person. What do I do to reset it? You just stole his. You didn't reset it. You both got 129. Hit one button. Start maybe.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Now it's asking my age. What's happening? Just hit start. There's a start button on the right there. Got it. Yeah, look at that face of struggle. Oh, that's embarrassing. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:05:21 What you got? 117. Oh, Jesus. I know. Oh, God. All that working out. Here, this fell off. All that working out, I do, and I'm getting beaten by you guys.
Starting point is 00:05:30 I'll grip you. Yeah, well, me and Danny, we work on that grip strength. I have very little. 130.8. Oh, yeah. No round two. Give me it again. This was one and done.
Starting point is 00:05:43 All right. Sorry, JT. You got to clock it in. Clock it in. Clock it in. You know what I've found that I thought is interesting? We just love looking, as humans, we love looking at things that we can't have, like browsing through and looking at them.
Starting point is 00:06:00 I think we also like wanting things we can't have. No, but specifically looking at it, it's like almost torturing yourself. Like what? like uh recently like i like i'm kind of on a diet so i've been looking at pictures of like buffalo wings just like non-stop like almost like it's like tinder i'm just like swiping through them it's like oh that one's not good oh man those look so good and i text them late at night i'm like oh yeah it's like oh yeah show me some buffalo show me some thigh and like my my my dad he does the same thing uh with zillow like he'll just like he'll just he'll just look at houses
Starting point is 00:06:35 and be like, oh, my God. You don't do that? I'm going to have my own man cave. It's like, ooh, look at this basement. I mean, I don't do it actively, no. Maybe I'm not in that money mindset. I do it all the time, and I see a lot of other people on Instagram
Starting point is 00:06:51 who say that they look at houses all the time on Zillow. Yeah. You clearly can't afford it. Yeah, it's like I'm looking at $10 million homes and $70 million yachts. I'm like, oh, this is great. Let's see. If I take out a mortgage and I pay $18,000 a month,
Starting point is 00:07:07 I think I could afford this place. If I dip into the college fund, we can recoup it by the time they go to college. If we go rob a bank. No, but I just think that's so weird that people will... It's not torture yourself. They live in this fantasy world and they're like, oh, look at this.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Can you have it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Also, I was thinking, why... You know Buffalo Wild Wings? Commonly known as B-dubs Yeah What is dubs? W
Starting point is 00:07:36 B-W-W B-W-W Buffalo Bills Two W's See, dude, I was trying to figure that out all night long Danny had the whiteboard I was like, dubs Like, we're taking the dub today, the W
Starting point is 00:07:51 Yeah The more you learn Danny's not a sports guy So you can't blame him I only take the L's Did you look it up, and was there an answer online? No, I don't look shit up. I like to.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Clearly, because the other day. I like, you know, it's like, I mean, if it's something, like, I need to do, eventually I'll look it up. But if it's just, like, a question, like, a dumb question like that, like, I like to ponder it. Like, I don't like to just be like, oh, Google, here's the answer. A little puzzle. Yeah, I like to just, like, think about it, you know?
Starting point is 00:08:23 You want to think about the riddle before you just go to the answer. Use my, like, active mind, you know? It's like, why did this chicken cross the road? I don't know. it's like if to me it feels like oh man uh i i don't know the crossword answer immediately reveal like it's like like let me let me ponder it yeah let me go to the depths of my brain movies flex let me flex my mental grip strength well it took all night and you didn't get it i know at some point just give up well i was also like half like sedated because i was just like looking
Starting point is 00:08:51 at wings i was like oh my god like danny looks back at the crossword coming to and every answer on the crossword is wings somehow. Yeah, I was just like, I'm about to, I think it's because I'm doubling my calorie intake because I'm about to scarf down these wings. Danny doesn't eat food for a while, starts cursing. Yeah, you know, I can't juggle all these things at once. It's like, I need to do something.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Dude, do you think the first person to put, like, let's say they're hunting animals, right, back, back, back way then. The first person to put the meat over a fire and eat it compared to the people eating it raw? Oh, you think they were eating it raw? Oh, dude, of course they were eating it raw. They didn't have fire.
Starting point is 00:09:32 They were eating that shit raw. Well, no, they did have fire, but how could you possibly know that you were to put something over fire when everything you see in the wild is eating it raw? Yeah, it's like you're just mimicking nature, right? So a lion's eating the raw. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:09:46 They were definitely eating raw. Do you think he was like, okay, do you think he was like, I have to tell everyone about this, or do you think he was like, I can never tell anyone how good this is. This is my thing. Yeah, because now he could just take the scraps that they left and, like, make little freaking –
Starting point is 00:09:59 Yeah, yeah. I think it's probably a very similar trajectory to a kid roasting their first marshmallow. There's no way the guy didn't burn it first. There's no way. That's – Right. And then slowly they're like, oh, wait a minute. I got it.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Yeah. But the outside was probably burnt, and he took a bite of it. He was like, oh, that's bad. Then he, like, tasted the inside, which is, you know, cooked normally. That's true. Whoa. It's not like they had steaks and chops. They threw, like, big chunks of meat.
Starting point is 00:10:24 There's no way all – They put it on a stick. Yeah, it's not like all of it cooked all the way through. There was definitely some sweet, sweet middle part that they were like, oh, I will do this every time. Who knows? There's a good likelihood he might have thought he ruined it, and he was like, if I tell anybody, they will kill me.
Starting point is 00:10:37 No, I'll tell you how he knew it was good before he even tasted it. The smell. The barbecue? Literally, probably people down the forest were like, oh, my God, what is that? The gods are giving us the smells again. This guy becomes the caveman Anthony Bourdain, you know?
Starting point is 00:10:55 Yeah, for sure. Good for him. Oh, I love a good barbecue. Oh, here we go. It's in your DNA. Dude, I... Who doesn't love a good barbecue? Come on.
Starting point is 00:11:04 I've always, since I was a kid, wanted to eat, like, a dinosaur, like, turkey leg or something. Like, a real dinosaur. Not one of these mimic, like, oh, look at these big turkey legs. I've always wanted to eat dinosaur. I thought that'd be the coolest thing.
Starting point is 00:11:15 I don't know if it would kill you. It'd be very tough. Maybe. I feel like dinosaurs are very lean. I don't think we know at all. Oh, we don't. But that's what I feel like. I like to picture my dinosaur like medium rare.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Chicken breast is extremely lean, but I wouldn't say it's tough. That's true. T-Rex is the ancestor of the chicken. Chicken is great. If anything, we can scientifically deduce that it tastes close to chicken. Yeah. I'm eating T-Rex. Or it's the closest thing to chicken.
Starting point is 00:11:39 I'm eating a T-Rex thigh. Don't you hate when someone says that? It tastes like chicken. It never does. Sometimes. What do they say it about? They say it about any meat that is not chicken. Any meat.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Or like beef or pork or the typical. I had that told to me about rabbit alligator I never had alligator I want that that one kind of does and if someone everything's crumbled but it's still fucking annoying
Starting point is 00:12:05 I don't know I guess people are hesitant about eating stuff so they're trying to coerce them into eating it but to me it's like if I wanted something to taste like chicken I'd just eat chicken I want to see what alligator tastes like
Starting point is 00:12:20 Yeah, it's like, would you stop telling me that it tastes like chicken? I know it's an alligator. I'm going to try alligator. Just eat it and shut up, you know? True. It's like, I don't care if it tastes like chicken. You're right. If you want the chicken, I just eat chicken.
Starting point is 00:12:31 But I stopped eating alligators and now exclusively eat stingrays because of Steve Irwin. Yeah, get rid of them all. They killed Steve Irwin. But now his son, did you ever see Robert Irwin doing the exact same thing? It's kind of beautiful. Well, I bet you he won't swim with stingrays. I bet you he will. Well, I mean, he wouldn't pull the sting around like a dummy.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Hot take here. Got him. Hot take. How do I put this? Steve Irwin, don't kill me, was maybe a little bit even overdue to die with all the shit he did. And he lasted that long. So it's like, yeah, it's sad. But it probably could have happened 10 years ago and I wouldn't have been surprised.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Yeah, but I really wanted him to live by the sword, die by the sword. I wanted him to go out by an alligator. True. That would be cooler. He did put his son in the jaws of an alligator as a baby, which was not very cool. Yeah, he definitely did some questionable things. I want to see that. That's like a famous clip.
Starting point is 00:13:25 All right. Completely overdue for death. Way overdue for death. The kid was born in an alligator's mouth. Of course, he's going to grow up to be his dad. He probably just did it for so long, he had convinced himself he was invincible, and that's why he starts picking up fucking stingrays. You're picking up stuff that can kill you every day for a living?
Starting point is 00:13:42 Yeah, you made it to 40-whatever? Overdue for death. I didn't even know that a stingray could stab you. So can swordfish. Not only does it stab you, it shoots it. Oh, it shoots it. It puts into you and then shoots itself out and lodges it further into you. And it's barbed, so it's really hard to take out.
Starting point is 00:13:59 And when you take it out, it fucking tears apart. That is like if anybody ever gets impaled with an object, the rule of thumb is don't take it out. Even though you want to take it out, do not take it out. He got shot with a Stingray barbed wire spike through the heart. I don't think it mattered. I don't think he was walking away from that, even if they left it in. Through the heart.
Starting point is 00:14:22 I think he just bled out. No, it was through the heart. That was the whole thing. No, I don't think so. I remember that fact so distinctly. I don't know. I do remember people saying that if he had not taken it out, perhaps they would have been able to save him. Also, though, I mean, how close was he to a hospital?
Starting point is 00:14:34 He must have been in the middle of a fucking ocean. Yeah, yeah. That's very true. Unless there's underwater hospitals. I mean, he definitely had, like, a medic team everywhere. There was a video of it, and the family hasn't released it. That's fair. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Honestly, it must have been, you know, shout out to the wife. It must have been, like, kind of, like, a little bit hard to accept that, like, my husband just died doing this, and now my son is going to do it. You know, it's like, jeez, Luis. Yeah. It's like if your husband's a firefighter, and he dies, and then your son becomes a firefighter, it's like, ah. Did they kill the stingray that got Steve? because what if that Stingray's kid then takes out Robbie?
Starting point is 00:15:09 Well, dude, you know what regrows its fucking Stinger after it fucking jizzes it out at you. What if it takes out... Dude, this thing evolves, grows like lungs and goes after the whole Irwin family.
Starting point is 00:15:19 It could fly. Those things already look like they could fly. They definitely think they're flying. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. My one wish in this world is that that Stingray is dead. I would use one of my three genie wishes
Starting point is 00:15:30 to wish death upon that Stingray. Kill that Stingray. That's number one. The genie's like, really? I can give you another one. And that was like, I agree. That's a freebie.
Starting point is 00:15:38 You could have more. That wish was so good. You could have three more. I always thought that if you were nice to a genie. Dude, I would blow the genie to give me more wishes. No, no. The whole thing is that he'll give you what you want, but it won't be what you want. He'll trick you.
Starting point is 00:15:55 No, that's like, I don't like that kind of thing. I want to be rich. And then I'll be like, your name's Rich. Congrats. Yeah, yeah. Or it drops a bunch of coins on you and you die. Yeah. Now you're rich, buddy.
Starting point is 00:16:05 What if you do selfless wishes, though? Will it fuck the other people? And, like, destroy the world? Yeah. Or if you, like, help the genie out. Like, I wish to end poverty, and it's just they take the—he erases the word poverty. I wish you are trapped in the bottle forever. I don't know how you get out of that one.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Danny got him. Danny got him. It's like, hey, it's like, after he tricks you the first time, it's like, hey, dude, I will spend years figuring out a proper sentence to keep you in that bottle forever. Don't fuck with me anymore. You have a lawyer, right, of a whole contract? Yeah, it's like, no, no, you can't say that.
Starting point is 00:16:40 He might get you there. He might make it a pizza. You know, it's like, get out of here. I feel like the only lawyer who could deal with a genie is like a devil lawyer. They bring the devil into the mix. We're working with a lot of magic here. We're working with a lot of bad stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:53 A little bit of a, definitely a sticky situation. I wish to have a devil lawyer, and I wish... to have a genie. A genie, and then that last wish is going to be the kicker. Yeah, I don't know. I think I could do it. I'll just go balls to the walls. But my point is, there has to be a way to convince...
Starting point is 00:17:10 Let's say it's a nice genie. Let's say it's an Aladdin genie. You know, Aladdin got like eight wishes. So let's say... I think you can be able to reason with the genie. Huh. Obviously, I have no facts or basis to know. How agreeable is this genie?
Starting point is 00:17:26 I don't know. Probably not at all. I wish that he's more agreeable first. That's number one. I just don't know the facts about this. I'm no genius. There it is. There it is.
Starting point is 00:17:36 I'm just saying, if you could get your first two wishes to then make that last wish to get more wishes, you know, I'd sacrifice it. I don't know. It's against the rules. Whatever. You can't wish for more wishes. It has rules. I just rubbed a lamp.
Starting point is 00:17:47 Now this is a big blue thing of rules. Who rubs a lamp by accident, by the way? Have you ever rubbed a lamp? When it's dusty, you know? That's what it is. It's when it's dusty. I don't think this guy just goes around and around rubbing lamps. It's like cleaning a lamp.
Starting point is 00:18:00 Yeah. Have you ever seen, first of all, wait, hold on. Is it ever a lamp? In the cartoons, it does not look like a lamp whatsoever. No, it's not our lamp. It's like a lamp, like a different lamp. No, it looks like a teapot. Yeah, I think that's how it's referred to as a lamp.
Starting point is 00:18:15 Now, have you guys ever seen like a teapot? No, it's not a lamp. I mean, it's a lamp. I don't care if everyone calls it a lamp. That thing is not a fucking lamp. You guys can all go fuck yourselves. There it is. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:18:24 Have you guys ever seen a teapot or something? Like a little gold thing And be like Dude Fucking genie's in that Right now I know And then you go up
Starting point is 00:18:31 And try to rub it Yeah it's like Why does my grandfather Have that on the top shelf I can't reach it It's like I know what you're hiding Gramps
Starting point is 00:18:36 I know why you have Your oil fortune Yeah what is with Rich people And like keeping A cabinet of useless Like plates They're hoping
Starting point is 00:18:44 A genie's in that plate What is That's the nice china Why do we call it china By the way Racist I think that's what it's called Fine china right
Starting point is 00:18:52 Racist Oh yeah And now you're calling it fine um no i i don't know i think uh i know a massage parlor's got some real fine china you know i i think um fine china that that used to be a big deal my grandma was like we're breaking out the fine china it's like oh it's like having the president yeah i know the the usual plates are good like i don't need ornamentation around it like your guests wow look at this family man They have paintings on their plates
Starting point is 00:19:24 Yeah I'd walk in and be like oh they brought out You're not going to break out the fine china for us But you brought out for the Stevenson's Also now the fine china is here And you got an empty fucking cabinet Like an empty display cabinet That's true Yeah we had fine china in my house growing up
Starting point is 00:19:39 And no matter who we had out for us It was literally never brought out once So I don't know what the deal with that was I guess decorativity It's to make the guests feel like they're not as important As the person that deserves that fine china Who were we waiting to break it out for? The president?
Starting point is 00:19:55 I don't know. The Pope. My grandmother was definitely waiting for the Pope. My Italian grandmother. Oh, God. She was waiting for the Pope. I don't know, man. I think my mom would have been like,
Starting point is 00:20:02 we'll use the normal plates. There's also a very strange thing that happens when you get something new. You don't want to use it because you don't want to break it right away. My parents got a new car. If they're going to the city, if they're going to any place
Starting point is 00:20:20 where there is any present danger they're like let's take the old car we don't want to fuck up the new car we don't take the old car but it's like how long are you gonna do that like how long is like the jig is gonna be up eventually you did that with the old car when it was new like like what like how long is that time period dude i've never been close closer to burning down my whole house than breaking something right out of the package when it arrives dude i literally want to break the world when that happens. I just got more GameCube controllers
Starting point is 00:20:51 and I just absolutely ripped off the thing that you plug into the system. So it was just like a cool paperweight GameCube controller and I swear to God I wanted to break the rest of them. It's like, oh, you can't have this one? Smash! Smash! Smash! Can't play. Yeah. We have very weird relationships
Starting point is 00:21:07 with new items. You ever made a big old plate of food and then it's hot, and you're lifting it, and for whatever reason, you drop it, and now all your food and your plate is broken all over the floor. At least the dog gets to enjoy the good meal. He can't even, because there's glass
Starting point is 00:21:23 everywhere. Oh, goddammit. There's plates everywhere. Oh, my god. That is an absolute nightmare. I've almost shed a tear. Not even kidding when that happens. Oh, yeah. Have you ever seen a waiter just drop an entire tray of food? Yeah, and then everyone claps. Dude, that proves humans are assholes. Yeah, dude, I just realized, what?
Starting point is 00:21:39 Is the clapping a lot of... That's genius over here! Some old dad in the back, Opa! It's like, this waitress is crying. She's crying, and she dropped your drinks. I think it is kind of
Starting point is 00:21:54 with good intention. They're trying to make it not a bad thing, but it unintentionally just puts the entire restaurant's focus on this one thing now. If you hear a little glass crack, maybe they could have gotten away with it. This is the final straw. My boss can't
Starting point is 00:22:10 No, I dropped this. Then the whole restaurant cheers that you did it. I broke glasses all the fucking time at my two jobs at restaurants. Well, you were a bartender, no? I was a bar back at both of them, and I was a bartender also. Dude, bar backs definitely have the world record of most glasses broken. They're the ones touching it all the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:31 Do you know anybody who steals glassware from bars? Yeah, all my friends did it at the bar I worked at. What is wrong with you people? Not your friends, but anybody who steals shit from bars? why stealing glassware is fine i think dude a lot dude i used to walk no it's definitely not fine i feel like that's well no it's not fine but like that's not as bad as some things i've seen literally like neon signs stolen from bars or rugs like girls girls dorms they steal anything they possibly get their hand i think stealing is in general just like the weirdest fucking thing
Starting point is 00:23:00 yeah i agree personally yeah it's just it just doesn't really make sense to me and also you know i love a good like when a cocktail serves in a decorative cup like a moscow mule always comes in the copper mug or whatever and you know other places have like you know fun cups but nobody wants to invest
Starting point is 00:23:15 in fun cups because all the fun cups get stolen it's a tragedy really yeah especially like I live in the frat house and so like obviously there if you have a party
Starting point is 00:23:24 the girls come over and the girl it's almost always the girls just gonna steal whatever is not fucking nailed down yeah that's yeah you do have you have to
Starting point is 00:23:32 like super glue everything to the walls it's very like it has to be like a bank where like the pen is attached to the desk yeah like every A fork and knife is attached to the table.
Starting point is 00:23:40 The desk is attached to the wall. Your dining table is just, everything's chained down. But no, but everything I own, nothing's like a signed baseball by Derek Jeter. Everything I own is something that you could just go online and buy with your own money. But see, this is different. Same thing with a restaurant. No, no, no. These fucking Moscow Mule Cups and these salt, I know people who stole salt and pepper shakers.
Starting point is 00:24:00 All of that stuff, you could just go and buy. Why are you stealing it? Right. It's the free part and the stealing part. If people like stealing. You save 10 bucks. You save 10 bucks. There's definitely a difference between stealing from a bar
Starting point is 00:24:10 and stealing from just essentially someone's house. It's just someone's house. It's very different. The house is much ruder. Oh, yeah. Well, I know three different people who went to the Versace mansion in Miami, and there's a restaurant in there now, and all three of them on three different occasions said,
Starting point is 00:24:28 look what I stole. Because they're in Boston, Versace, I guess. And that, I guess, is kind of novel. It's like, okay, I get why you took it. but still very strange. Then there's like the klepto stuff. It's like we had friends that would go to a house party and just steal family photos.
Starting point is 00:24:46 It's like, what are you doing? What are you doing with this? That's funny. The deli I worked at? I guess so. I mean, it's still fucked up, but that is funny. Stealing house remotes? Isn't that a John Mulaney skit?
Starting point is 00:24:59 No, isn't that a skit he would go in and just take out the batteries? I think he'd hide it. I don't know. Dude, the deli I worked at, right? used to get stolen from all the time in college it's right across the street from college so it's where everyone would go they come back wasted from the bars right and we get stolen from all the time uh and then whenever someone would steal something um like drunk especially uh steph my boss wouldn't call the police i shouldn't say that uh but he wouldn't he wouldn't call the police and he would
Starting point is 00:25:30 ask them to come back the next day oh jesus he had cameras mirrors everywhere so he could see everything he would ask him come back the next day and he would just explain to him i own this place you are stealing from me when you steal from me. It's not a big chain. It's not a big company. It's just my deli here. You are stealing.
Starting point is 00:25:45 It's like if you came to my home and stole from me because I paid for that bag of chips, whatever you stole, and now you're taking it without paying. Yeah, just make them real small. I'm sure that works on some people. Some people are like,
Starting point is 00:25:55 oh, get fucked. Yeah, definitely. I'm coming back stealing two bags. This is his way of not putting it. He's an ex-cop, so he didn't want to put it on their record that now they stole something, whatever. He just wanted them to feel bad about themselves.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Dude, that's great. Sounds like a great guy. So what happened is, now what happened is this one guy was a lot out of control. He's, how much should I say? I don't know how much I should say. You can't make this into a clip because I can't put this on my Instagram. All right, fine. But there's no name.
Starting point is 00:26:23 He's on the Frisbee team, and I was on the Frisbee team as well. And he got wasted, tried to steal whatever. When Steph was like, hey, I see you stealing that, sprints out the door. one of my friends friends who was visiting from like albany uh one of my very close friends like home friends is visiting from albany and sprints out the door and tackles him and then the kid pisses himself and is crying and then uh but because he ran out the door uh and like it was just like down the block or whatever like far away now steph doesn't do the whole not called police i'm gonna talk to him tell him to come back tomorrow so he called the police there it is uh
Starting point is 00:27:03 and now this kid went to jail that night and then like the captain of the frisbee team called me and was like he said your friend's uncool man no he's like he's like jt uh you know this this this happened like since you work there is anything you can do talk to stephan i went dude go fuck yourself like i am not yeah jt the only connection i have with this guy is that i'm on the same team with him i'm not helping you i like i do not like people who steal i don't like stealing or anything So if you do that, you cry, piss yourself, run out the door, get tackled. I don't know who you are. What do you think I can do about it?
Starting point is 00:27:41 If you didn't piss yourself, maybe there would have been a chance, perhaps. If Steph was really considering calling the police but didn't, and I knew this guy even a little bit, yeah, I would go in and talk to Steph like, hey, he's a good kid, whatever. No, you do all that, you're on your own. Yeah, you can't just be tossing out he's a good kid everywhere. No one's going to believe me if I say he's a good kid. Yeah, he's a good kid.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Look, he ran out of here. You only get so many chances in this world, buddy. Dude, what's funny is the people or the places, I think 7-Eleven does it, where if they catch you stealing on camera, they'll photocopy your face and just put it behind the register. Oh, I love that. And there's a whole wall, and you see your friends on there. When we were younger, it's like, Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Oh, you got caught, man. It's like, we can't come in here with you. Stay outside. I went to a bar in Nashville, and they had a very similar thing. They had an entire wall, and it was all like, it's Nashville, so it's all like old school like wanted posters and it's all people who didn't pay their tabs that's cool yeah i thought it was cool i feel like we should go in not pair tab just to get on that wall i'm sure some people do it yeah it's like one dollar it's like hey i'm not gonna pay
Starting point is 00:28:43 for this uh jar of peanuts can i be on the wall please you know it's like i'll hand you a dollar after yeah i do i love them i love the aesthetic of a bar it's just like all this shit all around it you know like they have like dollar bills posted on the wall oh you mean like that you just like random you know stuff like they have like a hundred frames on a very tiny wall because i think i don't know where it is i think it's texas roadhouse and i love texas roadhouse but like when there's there's buckets and like barrels of peanuts and there's peanut shells everywhere and all over the table all over the floor i'm like i don't like that you know but i love texas roadhouse but i don't like all peanuts also i love i think it's so funny like
Starting point is 00:29:18 if you ever go to any pizza place in the tri-state area there's just a wall with countless photo photos of just like a like b-list c-list maybe one a-list celebrity that's italian and the guy's just like yeah somehow ray romano has been to every single pizzeria around here yeah i love that it's in every one it's so funny yeah and also the newspaper that for some reason named them best pizza place in new york city yeah they cut out the article i i like the places that have never said they're the best place in new york city you know it's like we know we're not How could we be the best, statistically? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:57 How could we be the best? We know we're not. It's okay. Hey, find out yourself. Come here, and you tell me. You'll be the judge. Come here, Portnoy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Oh, my eyeball. I gotta go. I think we're good, right? Yeah, I think we're good. Let's, uh, suck some, uh... Let's ski dat hole. Let's suck some, uh, outros here. Suck some outros.
