Starting point is 00:00:00 welcome back to the picky boys podcast what was that what sometimes you just need to take a big deep sigh before you start something yeah but also it looked like despair maybe it was oh definitely didn't look like hope get your cup out of there what get your cup out of frame what are you despairing about nothing in particular you know is that what you do uh like for everything like if you let's say you're invited to a house party
Starting point is 00:00:32 and you're at the door do you like and then you go through um yeah I think it's important to take a moment for yourself
Starting point is 00:00:41 before entering a space oh it's for yourself okay yeah well who else would it be for I don't whatever you're praying to no I'm not
Starting point is 00:00:48 praying to nobody's hearing anything how is that taking a moment to yourself you're just like it's just like and then
Starting point is 00:00:57 okay and then you put on a brave face and a smile and you look through the door it feels like a mask comes on yeah a little bit well maybe that's what it is so you're wearing a mask on the pod perhaps huh he's also wearing a thong on the pod i saw it this morning that's true patreon.com it was a laundry day what can i say dude every laundry day danny comes down with i don't know one time it was like uh uh like you had like fuzzy pants what is that that was a halloween costume i think yeah the laundry gets bad if when the laundry has to go into the costume closet that's when
Starting point is 00:01:38 you know it's bad it's just a lazy week it's just a lazy week yeah but i've got a plethora of costumes i might not be helping because i think i have some of danny's laundry i think ours got mixed up somehow and i i was going through my hampers and i was i was finding some clothes that i did not recognize so i i don't even know what he's talking about are you missing any clothing i i was going through shirts recently to clean and all of them are picky boys yeah me too yeah all of them are picky boys bird picky boys.com for merch by the way yeah on the other podcast i get accused of just curating my outfits to be all picky boys uh billboards essentially yeah and i tried to explain to them i was like honestly this is kind of just my clothes is that
Starting point is 00:02:21 Is that why today you're wearing the neutral, the blank, the blank sleep? Yeah, this is just the test. No, I just had to find something to wear, and I saw a gray hat, and I grabbed this. I believe this is what I wore when we watched the Spurs and the Knicks play, and I just put like a duct tape. You made it a Spurs, yeah. You made it a jersey. Because I didn't have any Spurs uniforms, and I wanted to upset everybody.
Starting point is 00:02:45 The people online call this a grout fit. Yes. I am wearing it. Yeah, I can't show the print right now if I stand up. because I'm also wearing gray pants. You sure there is one? Well, I was going to get to that. Where are you guys finding these pants with the bulges in them?
Starting point is 00:02:58 I cannot find them in the store anywhere. I have a special order of mine. I just go to Dick's and I get a cup. Somebody send me a link, please. I flicked Danny on the penis the other day. He did? Like a literal flick? He was laying down in a position that I only describe as like a dead bird.
Starting point is 00:03:16 It's like if it fell out of the sky, he was like this. And he was like his head was – On his back? Yeah, on his back, and his head was, like, where your butt should be. Okay. And then I was walking by, and I'm like, would you stop being annoying? And I'm like, tank! And I didn't realize that his pants were as thin as, like, loose-leaf paper.
Starting point is 00:03:34 I don't think he was wearing underwear, and that was my bad. I was wearing underwear. I don't, yeah, I just don't believe you. I was wearing underwear, and why are you flicking the humps and lumps on my body anyway? It wasn't really, it was kind of, like, just flat. There was no bulge. So I just like, all right, this is probably like, you know, this is probably upper pubis. Was it soft?
Starting point is 00:03:53 Yeah, it was. This is true. What about after? And it went like this. Tink. Yep. Did they make a noise? It's not.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Yeah, it went boom, boom, boom. That's the Netflix opening. That was my bad. I apologize. Yeah. Well. You flick my, we all flick penis sometimes by accident on purpose. The buzz ball is staring at me.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Oh, you want buzz ball? I do not. It's nine in the morning. I am getting on a plane today. We tried to film this earlier. No. What? We tried to film this podcast at night.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Yeah. But then we said, let's do it in the crack of dawn instead. Yeah. Careful. You call this crack of dawn, people get mad at you. That's true. It's 9.30. That's true.
Starting point is 00:04:33 This is when I have lunch. It's noon. Remember I called back. Is he making it worse? I called 4.30, like the middle of the night, and a bunch of blue-collar workers got really mad at me. Well, I mean, it's definitely not the middle of the night. This also definitely isn't the crack of dawn.
Starting point is 00:04:50 This is not the crack of dawn. This is not the crack of dawn. But it is early. 9 a.m. is early. 9 a.m. is when people are in work. They're, like, going to work, for sure. Yeah, most of them are already at work. That's why I said in work, going to work.
Starting point is 00:05:04 9 to 5. If you have a cool job, you can show up at 10. Yeah, a fucking cool job. Yeah, but then you've got to leave at 6. You know, there's always a tradeoff somewhere. yeah yeah like martin used to go into work at 4 30 but he'd get home at like one it's like that's not bad what would you rather would you rather that early day like a 5 a.m would you rather episode so nine to five sorry yeah my bad nine to five or like a like a four to ten what so four
Starting point is 00:05:31 to ten like a bartender three that's pretty early bar three shifts like so there's a the 4 30 a.m to about one two oh that's what i'm saying bro it was the morning i'm going later yeah or the Nine to five. But yours also isn't eight hours, so I feel like I'll take that one. Yeah, you're just not. You said four to ten. You said nine to five or four to ten. Well, he's never worked, so he's just making an hour.
Starting point is 00:05:49 I'm just trying to add one to each from nine to five. What? You mean subtract one and add one? Yeah, you can't. Okay, so four to twelve. Four to twelve. That's eight hours. Yeah, that's a...
Starting point is 00:06:05 That's like a restaurant shift. Am I at Chili's or am I at a local bar? That shift sucks, I think. Whatever you want to be. Actually, that's most of the shifts that I've had. I actually like that shift. Well, it does allow you to, like, wake up early. You can do whatever you want.
Starting point is 00:06:20 You can hang out. You can just, like. Having the loom of something to do over you in the beginning of the day, it's never good. It's never good to have loom looming. Yeah, you don't want to loom or bloom. Actually, you can bloom. From 4.30, I feel like the 4.31 has to be shorter.
Starting point is 00:06:35 That's the point, though. Like, they're not all eight hours. Isn't the 4.31 shorter? I feel like Martin got home faster. which 4 30 when are you 4 30 a.m a.m a.m bro i'm not talking about 4 30 to 1 to 1 a.m that okay he's never worked so you know him as a friend so 4 30 a.m what time does he get out two is it one one or two how many hours is that wait that's more i don't know this is definitely what martin does not anymore but it was 4 30 just leaves at 4 30 yeah that's what i'm wondering how to get there
Starting point is 00:07:04 at like six yeah so six to one six to two six to two be eight hours but then you have a half hour
