Starting point is 00:00:00 oh then love potion makes no sense because like that is so uncomprehensibly dumb i can't come up with something i don't think it's dumb yeah i would also i would only wear shorts but that would also involve like the whole winter so you just always wore shorts yeah yeah well that sounds like a very jt thing all right last one that jason i'm so sorry jason's just gonna cut this I don't know You watching mukbangs? Like I don't know why
Starting point is 00:00:30 That was worse For me to hear In three Two One I know You'll see Sometimes the world will
Starting point is 00:00:39 F*** you Dan Snyder Oh Oh my god Well now we're on the topic anyway Nickelodeon shows Go Oh god Oh why
Starting point is 00:00:47 Oh that would have been so funny Antonio I thought it was on already You ruined it SpongeBob You can't You didn't say anything Hi Carly No, that was already said
Starting point is 00:01:03 No, that wasn't said Okay, okay Salmon Cat Not Nickelodeon No, it's Disney Salmon Cat is Nickelodeon If Victorious is Nickelodeon, Salmon Cat is Nickelodeon Oh yeah, you're right
Starting point is 00:01:19 You sucked at that He was just trying to break everything. iCarly wasn't said. He said iCarly. That was just the song we sang, right? You're a bad man. I said, speaking of iCarly that you just said, Shock Potato.
Starting point is 00:01:31 That's what I said. Everyone saw it. All right. Speaking of Shock Potato, go check out last Wednesday's video, Shock Potato Categories. You just titled it. You just titled it.
Starting point is 00:01:45 It's titled, Playing Categories of an Electric Potato. What a great video. It already has 20,000 views. That's insane, isn't it? Isn't it? It's crazy. The video's not out yet for us.
Starting point is 00:01:55 You know what's crazier to me is that the fans have become just spelling snipers against Danny. Oh, my God. He makes it so easy. I know. I don't know. Listen, I've always struggled with spell checking because I'm just – the root of the problem is that I'm bad at typing. Right. uh or what spelling bad at spelling no no well i'm i'm bad at spelling but i'm also bad at
Starting point is 00:02:24 typing so those two can together create an abundance of typos and and just things that aren't typos but are truly misspelled and things that are misspelled and typoed which really starts to make it undecipherable um but i have grammarly so it usually fixes it no it's definitely both because some of the misspellings that he makes are like taste. Like all the letters are there. Remember the water taste test. You put like taze. Water taze.
Starting point is 00:02:54 That's just like his stubby fingers pressing the T instead of the S too quickly. Yeah, I bought a new keyboard to try to remedy this. But also... Is it ergonomic? Yes. And it has those aesthetically sounding switches, keyboard switches.
Starting point is 00:03:11 That's so annoying. You mean like the typewriter? No, no, no. These ones are more buttery. So they go like whoosh. No, it's like. What? That doesn't sound like butter at all.
Starting point is 00:03:24 Either way. But the thing is, in the YouTube title, when you input the YouTube title, it has no spell check. That's crazy. In the description, it has a spell check and a Grammarly plug. My Grammarly plug-in works there, which we should just do an ad for this company at this point. But the YouTube title has no spell check, which is like, really, Google should get on their game here. A Grammarly sponsorship would be really funny.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Oh, it would be so great. Because of how many people come at us for the spelling. Yeah, I mean, we get the sponsorship, and then every title is still misspelled anyway. That's a bad look, actually. We're acting like he's been using Grammarly this month. He's been using it for like 14 years. If only I had a Grammarly sponsorship,
Starting point is 00:04:07 every title would be perfect. You hear that? Send this to Grammarly. Send this to Grammarly. Please. Please, Mr. Grammarly. Please, Zaddy Grammarly. It don't spell good.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Anyway, tonight you're going to have a tight f***ing butthole, aren't you? I mean, it's going to be way past this. But yeah, tonight my butthole is going to be really tight. Last week when you're watching this, Antonio put in a bet. It was a crazy bet. Yeah. And then on top of that, you also parlayed that bet with a less crazy bet. And so tonight, we're going to see if the less crazy bet hits and you win big money.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Because it's the NBA Finals, so I did like a plus for the bettors out there. I did a plus 6,000 parlay on the Nuggets. And then I bet on that individually, but I also parlay X'd it with the Celtics game and the Nuggets 1 hit. So the 6,000 Nuggets 1 hit already. Which is, you know, that's a betting anomaly right there. Yeah, yeah, already. you should be happy I'm very happy
Starting point is 00:05:08 but I'll be real happy I'll be really happy tonight we'll see on the fucking what would be the next thing on the Wednesday video next Wednesday's this Wednesday's video we'll see if I'm happy or sad
Starting point is 00:05:21 basically if on next Wednesday's video I'm not here the budget's immediately like we have the best cameras we have TVs in the background for some reason you're gonna see our pores in the next video if it hits we should have little like robot maids or something
Starting point is 00:05:34 we wouldn't win nearly that much oh these are courtesy of the Celtics oh god I'm excited yeah well you know I'm excited for you I know but like we're also coming into the like a dead zone of sports soon like August big dead zone of sports
Starting point is 00:05:50 like July August yeah what's over the summer nothing baseball but like but I actually don't mind that because you know in the summer who wants to be inside watching sports you know you're outside good point true drink and live in drink and live i know you look all summered up i'm summered up
Starting point is 00:06:08 it's the it's basically the start of summer here like i've i've made the call oh you you called up the sun i've called up the sun and and they think that it's the start of summer hmm when is the sons of a oh that makes sense yeah i mean this it's so big just off size alone yeah like you can't you can't have one thing in there uh but yeah and the official start is memorial day weekend i believe when's that june at the end of may i think oh the end of may yeah all right i mean close enough so it's pretty close and you're like the groundhog we we've had a few fall summers you know there's always like an 80 degree day and then boom back to 40 but i've made the wardrobe switch the aloha shirts are coming out when i was in school
Starting point is 00:06:52 i think like as soon as april hit i just always wore shorts didn't matter i was just that was my call as soon as april hit and sometimes it would be still be 30 degrees wearing shorts like i'm ready for it teach me like what are you doing i think it's april it's cool enough yeah i would also i would only wear shorts but that would also involve like the whole winter so you just always wore shorts yeah yeah well that sounds like a very jt thing but it was more so because i don't even know how to explain it it's just more like i just had like this aversion to pants you didn't like pants well i didn't have like sweatpants really so i had like shorts and i had like jeans and it was like i don't want to like put on my i'm tired it's the morning before school i don't want
Starting point is 00:07:29 to put on these jeans it's a whole process i just put on shorts and walk out the door that's great like in snow maybe not snow if it was snowing it would be really cold maybe sometimes while it was snowing it would be really way way way too cold for sure because at that point like if there's a foot or like a few you know eight inches of snow on the ground you put on shorts now you're crazy no there's no way i walked and there's no way i fucking trudged through the snow in shorts because then like snow will get in your shoes why are we talking about snow you know i'm a big fan of the period between where you can wear shorts and then also wear a hoodie love that period i feel like we're in that we're in that period right now that's what i do you can wear a little hoodie
Starting point is 00:08:07 and then also wear shorts it's just so comfortable oh god it's the most comfortable thing but i love sweatpants too so i will miss winter i hope it comes back around because when you find the right pair of sweatpants you feel at home in them like really it's really incredible also i think your legs like whatever your legs are doing your body's doing like if my legs are cold my body's cold does that make sense yeah i feel like your legs are a good indicator that and the back of your neck for some reason well they say the most escape the the most escape the heat escapes most from your hands toes and heads yeah because that's why like the they put the wet rags on the back of your neck in sports when you're overheating it's like the blood pumping to somewhere tricks your
Starting point is 00:08:49 brain i don't know there's a lot of weird things you can do to trick your brain i don't like to think about blood moving around my body it's constantly now did you do that yeah imagine you could hear and it just sounded like that sometimes you can it's it's in that room you know that room yeah it's like the world's most silent room yeah you could hear your blood just sloshing around in there yeah and it's something because your ears have never heard that before it really freaks you out like there's so many things that you should do it heard i'm not gonna do that uh well now people do it like we totally could do it although i was watching a video of someone doing it and they were saying that like that oh you can only last 45 minutes in there is not true oh i've i've
Starting point is 00:09:30 i've always thought that's such bullshit yeah whoever it was like whoever they sat in there is just a pussy i mean they do they do say though that it's really hard to keep track of time while you're in there it's also hard to keep track of time in a casino you know just if There's no windows or clocks. No, but it's different, I think. It has to be the same. Because there's no stimuli, you know? Like with the casino, you can say,
Starting point is 00:09:53 oh, look, this thing goes off every minute, you know? But now you're making it, but like if you're in solitary confinement, it's hard to keep track. That has nothing to do with the lack of sound in this room. You're just taking away all stimuli. It can't be on your phone, it can't be on a TV, a video game,
Starting point is 00:10:08 and you're in a room alone. Yeah, the room is not. Of course it's going to be hard. I can make your room do that. I think it's because when you're hearing, like, all this sound, you think time is moving faster. It's like, is my heart beating at this many rates per minute times that an hour? That's how many times it's passed. I mean, it's kind of hard to keep track in your head.
Starting point is 00:10:29 I've ever tried to, like, there's a filter on Instagram. It's like a blink when it's 10 seconds. But there's no timer. Why don't we just do it right now where we'll give Jason a tough job. And you just tell me. Try to get as close as you can to 10 seconds and tell me when to stop. Just in your head. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Okay? So tell me when to start and you tell me when to stop. We're trying to get to 10 seconds. All right, ready? Yeah. Three, two, one, go. Now. 8.9 seconds.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Oh, that's pretty good. It was pretty good. I don't know. That's a second. More than a second. Oh, no, no. It's terrible. I'm just trying to make you feel bad.
Starting point is 00:11:16 That's garbage. 11% margin error? Here, let me do it to you. I was trying to make you feel good. That's garbage. Let me do it to you. I don't trust your finger pressing. No, you do things quick.
Starting point is 00:11:24 You do things quick. No, I don't trust you at all. It's going to be three, two, one, then go. No, no, no. I'm going to say go. Okay. And I'm going to say stop. But make sure it's on go, not on one.
Starting point is 00:11:33 Okay. We're not caving. Okay. Three, two, one, go. stop 10.89 so that's over yeah but you're closer
Starting point is 00:11:54 closer to me but not by much by enough not by much and obviously all of this gets exponentially harder if you make it a minute you know what I did wrong I counted the extra and
Starting point is 00:12:09 like I didn't stop when I hit 10 and that did it. I think I would have got it on the mark, on the money. Me too. I thought I would have got it on the mark if I wouldn't have done it earlier. Well, you can't prove it
Starting point is 00:12:18 because I got better than you. No, because I got better than you. Three, two, one, go. Stop. 9.09. Damn. I still win. You win by a very slight margin.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Fuck yeah. Jason, good luck putting up those stopwatches. It's going to be hilarious. He's going to text me. I was 91 milliseconds away, or 910, and you were at 890. God, I'm so much better at everything. It's tough, though. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:52 That's why I like... None of us were at like 15 seconds, though, which I've seen. Yeah, yeah. I've seen like, now it's four seconds. Like, what are you doing? Well, the thing is, you just have to keep an even count. I messed up because I was like, at four, I was like, I'm going too slow. It's going to be over.
Starting point is 00:13:08 And then I went five, six, and then I went, oh, god damn it. Trying to adjust. How do you count? What do you do? I do like a one and two and three. I know some people do one Mississippi. So you're doing a one and a two. Three, two, three, four.
Starting point is 00:13:24 It worked the best. No, I just do nothing vanilla, dude. Psychotic. Well, you did better than him, so let's hear this one. I just did one, two. Yeah, that's vanilla. Four. You need something, though.
Starting point is 00:13:38 You need like some. You need a Mississippi? I don't know if Mississippi, but you need something for sure. No, that's true, because then it can, you know, make every pause the same, theoretically. I know for a fact I could get 10 on the dot. I know for a fact. Yeah, but the problem is that the numbers are also different lengths. You got, like, one and you got seven.
Starting point is 00:13:57 That's two syllables. True. That is so true. Shit, that's a good point. I didn't even think of that. Six and seven and, oh, yeah, that's tough. You got to just make it one syllable. Six and seven.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Is seven the only one, though? Oh, no, bro. Seven's only one that's two. So you probably just count it the same. You go one, and two, and three, and four, and five, and six, and set. And you don't say it. Or you can just replace the numbers and count on your hands. So you can replace the number with boop.
Starting point is 00:14:23 Boop, Mississippi. Boop, Mississippi. Boop, Mississippi. Boop, Mississippi. It's all the same every time. You can't go past 10. You start getting confused. How many boops per minute?
Starting point is 00:14:32 We're all going. We're only going to 10. Let's time him with the boop strat. All right, let's time you with the boop strat. All right, last one. Jason I'm so sorry Jason's just gonna cut this Alright ready
Starting point is 00:14:42 3 2 1 Go That was so fast That was so fast 9.07 That was better than last time
Starting point is 00:15:01 It was better than last time It was .02 seconds Less than JT But you started to speed it up Again, when I got to the second one, I thought, oh, my God, saying boob was way longer than a second. The first boob was way too long. Oh, shit. How do you count?
Starting point is 00:15:23 Yeah, drop it in the comments. How do you count? Drop it in the comments. Anybody use an abacus out there? Don't forget to like and subscribe. When's the last time you've seen an abacus that wasn't in second grade or at the doctor's office? True. But I could imagine, like, if I was an old Greek man in the before times, it'd be very helpful.
Starting point is 00:15:42 You mean when it's the only thing that was available? True. But still. Danicles. Danicles. The great philosopher. Exactly. The creator of the abacus.
Starting point is 00:15:50 And they used to just, like, pay shit with rocks, right? Back in the day. It's like, this rock is bigger than your rock. I thought it was always metals or alloys of some kind. No, the first kind, it was definitely just trading, right? That was the first currency, probably. Yeah. True.
Starting point is 00:16:06 It was like this leaf, that stick. Right? Yeah, or like a cow's worth eight chickens. Probably more than that. You're probably getting ripped off for your chicken cow. No, you got to go to Bob down the street. He'll give you a cow for 11 chickens. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:19 That's pretty good. Yeah. No, no, actually, I think eight chickens is a perfect amount for a cow. Yeah, because a chicken can lay, what is it, an egg a week? Way, way faster than that. It's like an egg a day. An egg a day. And you get eight eggs a day?
Starting point is 00:16:34 Bro, that's a lot. That's a lot. Let's say even half of them. But a cow can produce milk every day. I'm not saying there's not an advantage to also having a cow. But what I'm saying is just drink water. Guys, how many chickens is a cow worth? How many chickens is a cow worth?
Starting point is 00:16:52 I don't know how useful dairy was back then, though, because they didn't have the right means of refrigeration. Yeah, but they could just drink it from the cow's teeth. Eggs, you know, in other places, they don't even refrigerate their eggs. They do not need to be refrigerated. Yeah. I think a cow is worth eight chickens. I think it's fair.
Starting point is 00:17:10 This is why they invented money, man. I think it's probably a dozen chickens. Because, like, why do they sell 12 eggs? Well, if I'm giving you this cow and you're giving me a dozen chickens, you might as well give me a baker's dozen chickens. Give me some deal. All right, so that's my answer. I think a cow is worth 13 chickens.
Starting point is 00:17:25 That's so many chickens. I agree. No, that's crazy. No, it's really not. That's crazy. A cow's a big fucking animal. But a cow can't give you food. But it kind of can.
Starting point is 00:17:34 It can give you milk, which can become cheese, which can become butter, which can then at the end of its life can become a bunch of meat. Yeah, but one cow can only give you no cows. Eight chickens can give me a plethora of chicken. Oh, you're saying you're breeding them too. I could breed some chicks. So you go 26 chickens for two cows then. You breed them.
Starting point is 00:17:56 That's what we're saying. How did I get my hands on 26 chickens? That's not for me to ask. That's for you to do. Also, 26 chickens feels like... That's a lot of chickens. It is, but it isn't. What?
Starting point is 00:18:08 Bro, they're not like the fucking roided-up chickens you see today at the supermarket. Bro, I'm also not this roided-up beast I was in the 1800s. An egg would have been fine. Think about how many chickens this household eats on a day. I mean, JT eats probably seven chickens a week. It's true. Two cows worth of chickens. JT cows
Starting point is 00:18:29 but what I'm saying we eat a lot of chicken what I'm saying is if it was the 1800s and I couldn't eat a JT's worth of chickens I would have just sucked it up
Starting point is 00:18:37 had my eggs and maybe chopped off a chicken's head a week or something so it's like I don't know life expectancy cows definitely live much longer
Starting point is 00:18:44 coyotes yes can't have them protect my how am I protecting my chicken coop so obviously cock fighting is immoral here we go but
Starting point is 00:18:52 do you not think like statistically there's probably one one cock that was like i'm the best like i fucking love doing this i love fighting this motherfucker put me in the ring oh you're saying there was one like john jones chicken who wanted to fight yeah who's like i'm fucking good at this it's better than being slaughtered no people fucking treat me like
Starting point is 00:19:13 like a king all this time they pamper me and sometimes i gotta go in and kill take care of business i don't think they were pampered like they weren't like the chicken then wouldn't drive the Lamborghini. Oh my, your prize, your prize chicken gets, massages at the very least.
Starting point is 00:19:30 For sure. They get all the little chicks too. They probably just get a little free, you get a little free range. You don't get stuffed in a cage for the prize chicken.
Starting point is 00:19:38 I think you want to make the chicken angry though. You starve it probably? No, then it's weak. You can't break the chicken's spirit. What happened to our sign
Starting point is 00:19:47 by the way? You broke it? Well, I don't know about that. I didn't break the sign. I mean, I broke the, the,
Starting point is 00:19:53 the haphazardly strung fishing wire that it was on. The haphazardly... First of all, don't act like oh, this wire, I got this wire, this wire's going to be great. It came with it. It's supposed to hold. You know what it's not supposed to hold? A Danny bashing
Starting point is 00:20:09 into it. That's what it's not supposed to hold. What happened? I don't remember any of this. He kept hitting it. That's why he used to sit back there. He used to sit here, and we can't have him around anything that is perishable or destructible. First of all, we have a pretty rugged set, right? Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Yeah, manly. It's fucking manly. It's fucking rugged. Hanging some guns and some fishing line. I mean, it's leafy green. Yeah, but I'm saying you could really bump around in here. Actually, you can't. Keith almost took out our fake wall.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Keith almost took out our fake wall thinking it was a real wall, which is more like talks about my craftsmanship, does it? could anyone mistake that for a real wall so so you're saying it's more his intelligence or my craft what are you saying it's his awareness it's his awareness okay i guess so i liked i would i want to know what you guys think here we go this set looks like true oh that them yeah oh my god allergies have been killing me what does this sound like i want i want to know what you guys think the set looks like? Like, send us a little drawing
Starting point is 00:21:17 of the floor plan of what you think this set looks like. Yeah, we've talked about it for a while. Danny always like, man, when we move this set around,
Starting point is 00:21:25 I really wonder what they think this set looks like. Exactly, how you sound, first of all. Two, and you know, we film the pod, we have PBSs,
Starting point is 00:21:32 we have green screens somewhere. I'm not pointing, you can't get anything from me. Yes. It's like people watch The Office and then it's the floor plan of The Office
Starting point is 00:21:40 and they try to pick where everyone sits. It's actually kind of weird the way... I don't know if I can do that so easily. Bet you you can't. Patreon.com slash PickyBoys. We'll do it.
Starting point is 00:21:50 We'll do it. I've seen The Office so many times. Me too. It's a little strange. I got 100% because I'm me, of course. I just don't think you'll be able to do it. Oh, my God. That's all I can think about now.
Starting point is 00:21:59 The Office? I definitely would not do well on that. No. I've only seen The Office once in its entirety. Honestly, it's impressive how someone can do that. The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Community, New Girl, They just become just like while you're eating shows. You can just throw on.
Starting point is 00:22:16 It doesn't really matter where it is. Yeah. I think I skipped The Office season one and two, though, usually. Really? It's too slow. And also season one is not good. Season one is like my favorite episode. Well, yeah, of course.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Basketball? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That one's good, too. But they were really finding themselves. Yeah, for sure. And they found themselves in season two. I've never seen Community. Oh, that's my favorite.
Starting point is 00:22:35 You? I didn't see any of the shows you named besides The Office. I've never seen Parks and Rec or New Girl. I've never seen Parks and Rec. New Girl is okay. I feel like these shows just don't know how to write female characters, but I'm not going to get into it. New Girl has the most insufferable
Starting point is 00:22:48 character ever, and she's the main character. She's so insufferable. She's the new girl. Yeah, she's the new girl. So insufferable. Is it Zoe Deschanel? She's great, but that character is awful. Also, I thought they were supposed to be 20s, 22, 23 in the show. They're supposed
Starting point is 00:23:04 to all be 30s, and I went, this is worse. Way worse. Because they act like, just, it was terrible. watch it and tell me if you kind of agree I'll take a kind of agree I'm into a little bit I don't know I think you guys would really like Community well yeah I mean I like
Starting point is 00:23:20 I'd rather watch The Walking Dead or something like that I don't know I just don't know when I'd put on I guess when you're eating like you said I don't know when I'd put on like a light hearted comedy like that you guys aren't big I know you are but you're not a big like watch stuff while you're eating are you
Starting point is 00:23:36 that's so strange to me he just eats alone in silence I'm huge with that I mean no I guess there is probably usually like music on that's weird still to me
Starting point is 00:23:47 yeah strange then he wants to be fully immersed I like to appreciate the meal god I can't or sometimes
Starting point is 00:23:53 oh you know what I love doing is I'll eat something while and then watch a video of someone eating something similar
Starting point is 00:24:01 I don't know you watching mukbangs like I don't know why that was worse for me to hear I don't know It's like you're enjoying a meal together. So it's like you're eating a meal with this stranger?
Starting point is 00:24:13 Yeah. So if you eat a burrito, you're like a random person eating burrito and you eat with them? No. Well, sometimes. Or like I'll look up like Gordon Ramsay cooking a burrito because then while I'm eating, he's saying like, oh, it's going to have nice, bright, flavorful notes. And then like that's, you know, entering my mind. And then I'm like, it's enhancing the taste.
Starting point is 00:24:36 And then it has nice, bright, flavorful notes. that makes no sense i i also i also like if uh if if i if i ever get like fast food there's this youtube channel that i'm kind of obsessed with called report of the week oh yeah yeah and so he reviews like fast food items in this i don't even know if it's a bit or not but it's amazing and so if i'm eating that item i'll specifically watch that video you know and you eat with him yeah and you hear him review it what if he's just like this is dog shit. Then I usually agree. Then why get it?
Starting point is 00:25:10 Because that's how you're supposed to know what something's dog shit or not. So you're saying you get it to eat with him? No, no, no, no. But if I get it... I mean, usually if I'm at like a... You're making less sense every sentence. If he goes to Wendy's and they have a completely new, interesting looking item, he'll get it.
Starting point is 00:25:26 I don't even believe that. I went to Wendy's sometime and the only thing open was like 2am and I got like the ghost pepper. They got a new ghost pepper burger or something. Sounds really good. It is okay. It sounds scary.
Starting point is 00:25:39 But I got that, and then when I went home, I was like, I wonder if Report of the Week reviewed this. And then we ate it together. Is this weird? I don't think so. But usually I just do it more with, like I said, Gordon Ramsay videos and stuff like that, where the person is doing something related to that cuisine.
Starting point is 00:25:59 I don't know. I think it allows you to better understand your food. It's not your food, though, is what I'm trying to get at. A lot of food can be broken down into, especially different culture food, can be broken down into specific flavor profiles. It's like, I'm going to heat up my frozen pizza and then throw on a video of the master pizza chef. And oh, I'm getting the notes of that pizza. It makes no sense. Yes, no.
Starting point is 00:26:30 Because, listen, think about it this way. Have you ever seen something? I watched it or seen it on Instagram and said fuck I want to eat that yes well yes okay I'm doing that and then I can you know I'm getting that
Starting point is 00:26:46 feeling oh it looks so good and then I go and I have one right here so you're lying to yourself yes oh of course I used to place I told you this when I was a kid when I was a kid in high school I used to place a penny, heads up, outside of my door every single day.
Starting point is 00:27:08 You didn't tell me this. You told me this in high school. And when I woke up, I'd go, heads up, penny. Going to be a good day. It's my lucky day. You can create your luck because it's all bullshit anyway. If you find a penny on the ground, some asshole just dropped their change. It's not going to give you good luck.
Starting point is 00:27:23 So why do it? It's so sad. Because the few days I forget that I did it, I go, oh. and then like that's early onset dementia isn't it dude just just the thought that you're gonna have good luck can make your day better yeah i feel like this is the love potion paradox here do we know what that is no it's like i want you to fall in love with me i give you a love potion like it's like it's bullshit it doesn't like it the thing is happening you didn't describe that very well at all what do you mean i could have surmised as much as you said from the from what
Starting point is 00:28:00 you said before but from the words love potion that's you didn't go any further what are you saying you're fabricating something and i'm fabricating something it's like it doesn't make any sense what's the plot here i don't get this movie or is it a movie i don't understand what is the love potion thing what does that mean elaborate on that it's like i give you i want you to love me so i give you a love potion yeah and then we fall in love anyway and it had nothing to do with the potion so you're saying no the opposite wait what did i what did i cross here You're the penny, off the penny, right? Let's bounce off, bounce off the penny.
Starting point is 00:28:32 I'm saying that a fake penny that I've planted can give me good luck or make me think that I have it, you know? Oh, then the love potion makes no sense. Because, like, that is so uncomprehensibly dumb, I can't come up with something. I don't think it's dumb. I mean, I'm not doing it. It's not like my – it's like this is what I'm betting on, you know?
Starting point is 00:28:52 Like this is what I'm – this is why my life is good. it's just a little thing that I did and it made me happy you know that's all that matters that's all that matters and I think I don't know
Starting point is 00:29:02 at that point why not do a quarter at least you could buy stuff that's not the that's not the thing you didn't have that many quarters did you use the same penny
Starting point is 00:29:09 no you got a different penny every day sometimes I use the same penny sometimes I didn't that makes it worse usually the penny in my pocket which is the one I picked up
Starting point is 00:29:16 and I put down listen why you didn't pick it up just leave it there leave it there and then now you've created less work for you at that point
Starting point is 00:29:25 just put it around your neck on a chain or something. I don't know, man. It's like a, what is it when you call, when you say something in the mirror? An affirmation. That's kind of what it is. It's like I'm putting it the night before, and I'm saying, tomorrow's going to be a good day, and I wake up, and I don't say it in the mirror to myself, but I pick it up and
Starting point is 00:29:46 go, today's going to be a good day. You pick it up, put it in your pocket, keep it there all day, before bed, put it back down. Yes. You basically are carrying a penny with you all day. And your spot for that penny when you're not carrying it is on the ground. That penny is now a roommate. I guess so.
Starting point is 00:30:01 I don't know. I think it's – I think it works. It works. But it's like then the day you pick up the penny, you go out and you have a flat tire. You're like, well, this is a new fucking reel anyway. Like what's the – Yeah, and then the problem is that let's say one day you forget to pick it up. You're going to have a terrible day.
Starting point is 00:30:16 True. Or he has a terrible day and he checks his pockets. You're like, I didn't have the penny. Didn't have the penny. Exactly. you know it's again it's it's not it's not saying that my day is going to be like good or bad but it's making me just that one thought of like oh it could be gonna be good day can we rewind also start i want to touch back on something you said right at the very start you did this in high
Starting point is 00:30:37 school yeah okay yeah throughout all high school yeah no well yeah yeah too old i should really start doing it again because it was it was i don't know i think i don't i think it's less dumb than you guys are saying that you guys are saying i really do i i mean if you if you don't think that four years of your life gone poof okay first of all doing something doing something dumb at the beginning of every morning does not erase the rest of the life he said i've spent in that four years he said he that got him through days that's what he said well again it's because it's it's just it's more of a mindset thing you know it's like i don't know people do people do stuff like this that seems dumb but it just works if if if if i can do if if i have to do you know
Starting point is 00:31:27 fucking pat my head and rub my tummy what to to feel like i'm gonna have a good day that's worth it you know it's better than me going and not have feeling good not feeling good about the start of the day it kickstarts something in you he's putting up a lot of walls that you can't disagree with here. He's winning here. Well, I'm putting up walls because it's true. He's winning here.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Listen, put a penny outside the door. That's all I'm saying. At the end of the day, every day, put a penny... He laughs. He can't even get it out. No, I mean,
Starting point is 00:32:01 it would have been... You know what? It would have been more funny, but then it's just like putting it into chance. If every night before I went to bed, I just went like this and I flipped it
Starting point is 00:32:08 and then I went to bed and then I looked and I said, oh, what's the day? That would make a thousand times more sense to me. But then... It's like bones, no bones.
Starting point is 00:32:17 But then half, you see, why does that make sense? Because it's like, it's a chance. This penny is totally arbitrary to what my day is going to be. You admit it. So that is so, that is just as dumb as putting it heads first. No. And in that scenario, half the days I go, oh no. I have to start the day with tails.
Starting point is 00:32:40 No bones. But at least that's chance, baby. I don't care. Make your own luck. I like it. Make your own luck. Exactly. That's not what that expression means.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Well, that's what it means now. It is. It is what it means now. Danny made it mean means. We're good here, by the way. Are we good? Yeah, we can end it on make your own luck. Make your own luck.
