Starting point is 00:00:00 I love looking like an undercover cop because people don't talk to me. The most surprising part about all of this is finding out that the world was more than 2,000 years old for me. So they inserted their dominance inside you. They inserted their dominance all over us. Also, you're on a 24-person trip. I'm not going to lie, I don't want to put any bad juju out there. No, I already have it. Something's going to go wrong. can we come in welcome back everybody welcome back to the picky boys podcast you got them
Starting point is 00:00:32 worked up before the pod yeah you're you're putting me on you're putting me on a stake to burn for something that i can't control me danny uh me and danny are probably rooming we're going to the bachelor party this weekend probably yeah probably because you just said because because the whole problem is he snores how are we going to deal with that it's a whole thing we were just in miami and apparently he was keeping up the whole room i wasn't in that room thank god not the whole room didn't say that just me also i did use the first night a patented technology i found on tiktok and i think that that helped a lot i was doing an ab study right and the b side was upsetting so that means the a side worked i think how do you know if you were asleep jt told me jt
Starting point is 00:01:13 was bombed the first day i was bombed the first day so if you were snoring it would not have affected me because the first the first the first night i would still shuffle and jt would still like kind of be awake right the snoring really honestly doesn't affect me as long as i get to bed first because i'm a really heavy sleeper so you could snore all night it won't wake me up it is a little tough for me to go to sleep while there's snowing that's fair so i did i did the old airpods in noise canceling on rain on a tin roof strap yeah good strap i can't sleep with anything in my ears we're just not compatible as a married couple well how about we just play something on the tv in the room really loud and well that doesn't matter you ever sleep next to
Starting point is 00:01:55 your dad when he's snoring no you ever sleep next to your dad when he's snoring has anyone slept with their dad in like like in a room yes i don't sleep with dads in some sort no i probably have yeah either way you know what fucking god there's no i can't relate to any of these people nobody no there should probably be a snores room but i'd rather room with antonio honestly i i snore so does my brother who was on the trip i've heard chas snore we all kind of snore it's it's really more of a like if you just have a couple drinks you kind of snore yeah and also if you lay down on your back after drinking i feel like for some reason you snore like you got to kind of be on your side chas snores chas does i don't know the point is that i i can't change this so we're gonna
Starting point is 00:02:42 have to figure out a way together to deal with it it's part of who he is it's his identity it's his identity is other people need to solve the problems that he calls no again i've i've invested money into the solving these problems and they saw on the subathon nothing has worked yet so on the subathon nothing has worked an attempt at trying the thing is the ultimate solver of snoring is a c-pad machine which is notoriously loud yeah that's like when you you know you have to take a drug for something and all the it'll help with the sleep but it'll not help with sleeping with somebody right and that's but it will help with me pretending to be an airplane pilot that's true or bane or bane or bane speaking of uh subathons though i think it's the last time we could talk
Starting point is 00:03:23 about it before it starts here that's so true we have a mini subathon that we are starting on april 17th we know you like your fair warning april 17th i think it's either six or seven leaning seven that's usually what we do right yeah we gotta give everyone time to get here everyone time to get here that's true so uh how it's gonna work we're finally gonna talk about it is that every donation depending on the size adds time that would keep us going it is going to be capped at some point during the weekend but you still can get us there to the length of the weekend every donation also gets a vote in which patreon video that we're going to do there's going to be three options i don't really want to give away the exact voting mechanism because i want
Starting point is 00:04:03 to be a surprise so your donation will extend money um be a vote and will probably make us do something as well. So bang for your buck out there. Truly, truly, truly. April 17th, twitch.tv slash thepickyboys. Give it a follow so you get notified. And also just pickyboys on Instagram will tell you what's going on.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Yeah, and show up all weekend. Come for the start. Next morning you wake up, check, see if we're still going. Yep, exactly. Be a good time. It should be all weekend. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:31 And everything bleeds into each other. Who knows? You know, towards the end of the sub-a-thon, depending on how far we go, might even affect card-a-thon. But I can't give away too much. But just keeping it there. April 17th.
Starting point is 00:04:43 How you doing? How are you? Yeah, so we're going to a bachelor party, me and you, in Denver. Have you guys been before? To a bachelor party? To a bachelor party. Not to Denver. Yeah, I have.
Starting point is 00:04:52 It wasn't good. Like, it was just, we were kind of just there and just doing things. Like, it wasn't anything fantastic. Older guy, or? Yeah, it was my uncle. Oh, okay, okay. So it's also, like, kind of family. So it's like, all right.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Yeah, I went to one, but it was the second marriage. So it's much, much less, like, you know. I don't know. I feel like that one's the best. No, that's probably true. I feel like anything not after the first one is cooler because you kind of care about it. Also, the wife was there. Oh, bummer.
Starting point is 00:05:17 It was more like a we're getting married trip. I don't know. We're getting married. It was very fun. Austin, Texas, great place. I'm very excited to go to Denver. Last time I was in Denver, I was not 21 yet, and I tried to go on a bar crawl, and then all my fake IDs got denied.
Starting point is 00:05:33 All of them? Yes. All two of them? All two of them, yes. And one got taken away. Oh. That's why they give you two. But you had one as a backup.
Starting point is 00:05:41 That's life, yeah. Yeah, I'm worried about my ID. It sometimes gives me problems, especially on more strict states, but I'll figure it out. Antonio still has a vertical ID. That's the problem. I can't show. Don't show that.
Starting point is 00:05:52 I can't show. But I still do. My ID is this way, and no one believes that it's real. Yeah. I mean, you're going to have to get a real ID soon anyway. By the way, that's a Piggy Boy's pro tip. If you live in the U.S., get a real ID before May 7th, or else you won't be able to fly.
Starting point is 00:06:06 I need another two years before I do that. There's just springing it on us. It's been in the works for quite some time. They're just springing it on us. I just heard about this. Also, this may be common sense, but when you go to get your real ID, they will take a new ID picture. I did not know that, and I showed up looking like a freak. That's a great pro tip.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Why would you think they wouldn't take a picture? Because I've updated my Or like when it got expired Like I've re-upped my ID And they didn't take a picture But I guess with the real ID Take a new picture Aren't they supposed to take a new one every 10 years?
Starting point is 00:06:42 Yeah You expected to have your ID from when you were 16 your whole life? My mom's like fucking 30 in her ID Really? Yeah Nah, I'm 16 of mine She probably has to change now too So am I
Starting point is 00:06:52 So when you go to real ID You do have to change And also you can't wear a hat Oh that'll mess up That'll mess up the hair It did That's why the picture Looks so weird
Starting point is 00:07:03 I look like a freak Can I see it It's up in my Walls upstairs Can you wear glasses I don't know actually I don't think so Normally you can't
Starting point is 00:07:11 No you definitely can I don't think you can I think you can only wear Like religious Yeah you can only wear No if you You can't wear glasses No they changed that
Starting point is 00:07:17 If you wear glasses Regularly like everyday You can wear your glasses In the picture I don't think that's true I wear glasses everyday And they told me To take them off
Starting point is 00:07:25 Yeah but you also Have that look about you where it's i know i could have said tell this guy what to do yeah yeah you know it's like i could have said i could have said that the uh the hat was religious garb and yeah your jet hat basically is like you can wear a pasta you can wear like a pasta strainer on your head and it's called that you know pasta fairy and or whatever but i don't i don't know how true that is or if you're a nun you can wear like a no i i know the religious garb thing i didn't know you could just like i could wear a possum on my head and call it
Starting point is 00:07:52 pasta fairy well i didn't say possum i know but you said you said what's the difference well one is pasta farian because that's a real religion oh my here we go well it's real as real as all the other ones i don't know that can't be even close to as true as that i'm trying to find the picture you talk amongst yourselves why we have jason why why we have jason one of the picture of my id he doesn't have that i hope jason everything about that yeah so we're also i'm I'm not a Vikings fan, but one of the beats of the trip is that we're all broken up into football teams and we have to do a big Beer Olympics.
Starting point is 00:08:29 And you are Vikings. I'm the Vikings. Yeah, wouldn't have gotten this at all. So Beer Olympics, I think that's a big thing during bachelor parties. I didn't do it on the one I went to, but apparently you're doing it on yours too. Yeah, we're doing a bachelor party. Not yours, but...
Starting point is 00:08:44 You're on a 24-person trip. I'm not going to lie. I don't want to put any bad juju out there. No, I already have it. Something's going to go wrong. Oh, yeah. You can't have 24 people in another state. Too many.
Starting point is 00:08:58 It's just too many. Too many. He should have chopped off the bottom eight. He should have ranked them and went bottom eight, you're out. Danny would have been out, I think. I don't think so. I mean, definitely. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:09:09 To what exactly? Are you a top 16 pick? No. I might be the last. I might be Mr. Irrelevant, frankly. Well, that's – they have the biggest time. Tom Brady was Mr. Irrelevant. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 00:09:21 That's true. No, I mean, I think I'm worth my weight in gold, frankly, in a bachelor party invite. Right. I think I – With the vibes. I think I bring a good vibe. I'm always down to keep drinking. People fall like toy soldiers, and I'm still in the trenches.
Starting point is 00:09:39 And I'll tell you this. If Danny's there, if Danny's on the trip – what, his three-day trip? I think so. Three-day trip. he's going to add at least six well-timed quips here and there that's going to make the whole group laugh. No, you're wrong. Oh, that's not wrong.
Starting point is 00:09:51 No, I'm not saying you can't. I'm saying he knows three people there. We're going to see Shy Danny. No, yeah, Shy Danny the first day. Right. But, I mean, as soon as I get drunk, I start to know these people. And also, I know more than three. I just loosely know.
Starting point is 00:10:06 You loosely know six. Yeah. On top of that three. Yeah. So now we're already at almost half. yeah but also i feel like here we go now some of these people know i'm uh you know we know oh yeah you're part of the podcast people and i feel like that's already like an open door for me yeah what was that what once you get you know people people always say oh like you're one of
Starting point is 00:10:25 those guys does the podcast right and then i like that you like that because then i'm like i feel like my foot's in the door already i actually don't like that conversation door yeah why don't you like it um oh this is interesting i feel like when people say that like obviously they don't watch it and that's fine like no one has to watch it but like well you guys they're just trying to like be nice and it just feels like i'm being patronized too like i'd rather just not talk about the like i would talk about it with someone who like actually watches it i would love to but if someone's just trying to be nice and create conversation and stuff i just feel like i'm like they don't they don't care about this i don't want to waste their
Starting point is 00:11:02 time that's interesting because i guess technically you're right in the sense where if someone was an accountant i wouldn't go up to them in the conversation and be like oh yeah how's that accountant thing going like i wouldn't number yeah i wouldn't do that so and i wouldn't be asking them questions so i just don't i don't want to waste their time they don't care i don't really care to explain it so let's not do this charade i can half get that i think i'd rather be asked about it maybe but half the time i'm asked about it i don't i give two lines like you'd also be shocked how much not you guys but people would be shocked how much people immediately ask about like money oh which you wouldn't so fast you wouldn't really do with
Starting point is 00:11:39 anyone in any other profession dude like how much make from that so fast no no no that's not even yeah they say it in different ways but like that's not i've heard exactly that honestly no no no that's i i what i'm saying is i get the every old person for sure oh no not even old it's either way i get the uh oh is there money in that which is way worse a question i think it's like now you're calling me so dumb that i don't even like no like i wouldn't i don't even know there's money in it almost you know what i mean yeah it's like asking that for me that's what old people say to me and they're like oh so you can you can you can make some money doing this stuff i i honestly get old people saying yeah i think that's fine no and then i say yeah and then they say oh and
Starting point is 00:12:20 then you know just kidding yeah i say no just kidding i there there have been many times where i say uh no just doing it for fun there are many times just to get out of the conversation you know your hat is wrinkled it's terribly i don't even know how a hat could get it's so incredibly wrinkled i bought it today to match like what i would be wearing i'm not even taking this again i i say this all the time and it's definitely aviators but you look like an undercover cop at a vikings game yeah i'm not at a vikings game and why i know that okay i'm just making that clear that's what you look like i'm fine with that i love looking like an undercover or cop because people don't talk to me i love it it's so it's great in fact when we were at
Starting point is 00:13:00 a while ago and i had like aviators a polo and like cargo shorts whatever pretty under cop vibes i tried to talk to somebody just to get them out of the way they were like oh yeah my bad you know like they won't even talk to me you should just walk around like like this like like i like your muscle memory is making you hold your like your invisible no your uh vest cops love standing like this holding their vest they love standing like that and a few people came up to me are you a cop i went honestly after the second one i just started saying yeah and i was that might be illegal oh yeah it might be a crime i definitely can't say that okay i didn't say that i'll take that back freedom of speech definitely said it freedom of speech freedom of speech you can definitely say
Starting point is 00:13:43 can't answer that you can say that that is saying yes that is saying but but you can also say that that's illegal you can legally say that okay so i'll start saying that that's my bad yeah so i can't say can't say legally can't say can't say that you'd be surprised how much no one wants to talk to you when you look like an undercover cop and i love it not gonna complain about it such an old man but what what about it what about it i don't want people talking to me you're damn right honestly true i mean i hate when people talk to me too but for every like nine or ten people who talk to you and they they're saying something very boring or they're just like not fun to be around there's one person who you're like wow this is like an interesting guy right but you
Starting point is 00:14:27 could also you don't need a lot of times you don't need words to be able to tell that i know but i just like those i like those odd experiences that's what i'm that's why i live life for frankly for odd experiences true also it's sunday so why do you say true yeah no that's true that's That's for odd experiences. Okay. What are you? You live for the mundane? No, it wasn't.
Starting point is 00:14:49 It's just. You live for the odd. No, it's just true to what I said. Didn't make any sense. Unless you were just not listening and ready to talk next. By the way, it's already Sunday, which means Friday, maybe me and you shrinked. Oh, you want to talk about that as well? I tried and maybe I succeeded to get Antonio.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Why didn't you tell them? Well, because it's already happened, so they know. But I tried and maybe succeeded to get Antonio to smoke a joint on Twitch because we're going to be in Denver, so Mile High City, hallelujah. Hallelujah. High in the Mile High, Antonio. High in the Mile High. I'm going to ask Antonio about life, his purpose, what the moon is made of.
Starting point is 00:15:27 Definitely cheese. Sounds like an interview. You're going to interview me while we're smoking in Denver? Yes. He's going to, first of all, it's just going to be him giggling the whole time without even being able to ask me a question. Danny gets so giggly. Yeah, he gets so giggly.
Starting point is 00:15:42 I was exceptionally high on our flight back from Miami. I just heard, yep. Listen, there was a miscalculation in the amount of funny gummies I brought, and I wasn't going to bring them back through security on the other side. So sometimes you just got to take it to the face, you know? Right, right. Take it right to the face. Take it right to the face.
Starting point is 00:16:06 Close your eyes. Okay. Yeah, Danny portioned out a certain amount of gummies for the entire trip. Then it turned out at the party we were at, they had THC liquor. Yeah, or just like a – Water, THC water. Yeah, it wasn't like it was THC vodka. That would be bad.
Starting point is 00:16:24 It was like THC liquid, and then they were making like a tonic with it. And you do shots of it. We added vodka to it. We did add vodka to it. I was doing what I think is a pro move, And I think in my later life will really help me of one drink, one weed drink, one drink, one weed drink. Helps you what? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:42 What is it helping? You do have to have an exceptional tolerance to do this strategy, but it helped me the next morning. I drank half as many drinks as all of you guys, and I was almost as equally fucked up. Yeah. So, hallelujah. What is this hallelujah? It's like the third time. Jason, you know what?
Starting point is 00:17:02 Oh, my God. You guys aren't going to talk about the trip? You guys haven't talked about it yet. Oh, the Miami trip? Also, the guy who made that said he might send us a bottle. So if you're listening, keep your promise. I don't think he's listening at all. And if you're not listening, then I hope you still keep your promise.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Honestly, nothing that crazy of note happened during the trip. It was a... Yeah, and they weren't there. What do they care? Yeah. If we had a crazy... I was honestly going there to try to hopefully get a crazy story out of it, But I feel like nothing really that crazy happened.
Starting point is 00:17:35 The craziest thing was probably seeing, we saw a boat. It was a billionaire's house, whatever. But we saw a boat that can take you to Miami to the Bahamas in 30 minutes. I don't even know if I believe that. I don't believe that. It did have six motors on it. It had six motors, and it said that they go 130 miles an hour. First of all, that seems exceptionally dangerous.
Starting point is 00:17:55 If you hit a little wave, wouldn't you just get like 50 feet of air minimum? I think it would turn into an aircraft very fast. I don't get how that works. Also, is everybody ducking? Because of the wind splatter. You know, when you're on water, like on a tube, going 30 miles per hour feels like you're going 407. What does going 100 miles per hour plus on water feel like?
Starting point is 00:18:20 It has to feel like you're warping time. Although, going to the Bahamas in 30 minutes sounds nice. That sounds fantastic. That sounds real nice. I was like, let's go right now. But also, and obviously there's a huge difference. Here we go. But it's like less than 100 miles away.
Starting point is 00:18:36 It's pretty much the same climate. I know there's probably better water over there, better beaches. I think the Bahamas is very different. Are you crazy? But it's just like for us, that sounds so cool because it's like, oh, wow. Being in the Bahamas sounds great. But if you live in Miami, going to the Bahamas is just like a little better, I think. I think they still very much like to go to the Caribbean.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Bro, even Miami doesn't have that crystal blue water. No, and it's definitely better. What are we talking about? It's definitely better, but I'm just saying it's not a stark contrast. I think your comparison would be more to the Florida Keys. Miami's pretty far down there, man. But it just looks so different. Do they look like Keys?
Starting point is 00:19:19 I don't know. Why is it called the Florida Keys? I think that's what a bunch of little islands are called, the Keys. It's an archipelago. All right, that makes sense. I don't know, but you know what I'm saying. It's just not as stark of a difference. I'm hearing what you're saying, and I want to agree,
Starting point is 00:19:37 because I'm on the Big Danny wave. I just don't agree. I'm not trying to disrupt the Bahamas. They're much nicer than Miami. You just sort of tried to. I said they're just so close. You said you wouldn't notice the difference. You did say you wouldn't notice the difference.
Starting point is 00:19:51 so close you said you'd rather be in miami than no i did not no i did not sort of what you said i said there's there's probably a it's like a 20 increase as opposed to if we went to the bahamas it'd be a complete 360 180 there you go it'd be a complete 180 okay doom and gloom beach now you're going from beach paradise to double beach paradise so it's double doubles a lot doubles a lot more More than 10%, 20%. Doubles a lot more. But you know what I'm saying. I'll be honest.
Starting point is 00:20:20 It doesn't even, it doesn't, beach-wise, it doesn't really even get nicer than the Bahamas. You're talking about, like, the nicest beaches on Earth. I don't think Miami Beach is up there. I can actually attest to that. So now you agree with us. What is the point? Even when I went to Hawaii, Hawaii is far nicer than the Bahamas, in my opinion. Like.
Starting point is 00:20:38 Overall? Geographically. Right. Like. You're a volcano guy. Yeah, yeah. And then the mountains and everything is beautiful. but the waves are very rough which is partially why it's so surfy in my in hawaii yeah so the
Starting point is 00:20:51 bahamas is calm blue and it's it's the beach boy saying it's tranquility are you in favor of oh i love the bahamas listen that's not what i'm saying bahama mama i'm just i'm just saying you notice change when the things that you're changing to are vastly different that's when you notice it more if you go from a hot tub to a freezer you're gonna notice that okay if you go to a hot tub to a warm pool it's gonna feel like less of a change that's what i'm saying but still but still a change i didn't say it wasn't a change it's still a change i mean that's not a 20 percent change you can't stay in a hot tub for more than well maybe you can you can stay in a hot tub for more than 15 20 minutes oh my god that's one of the things i saw we we were in the pool of our
Starting point is 00:21:37 hotel and there was these people miami people i guess just built different they were in the hot tub for two and a half hours yeah we we went in the pool we got out we dried off we got like drinks we came back we went in the hot tub there and there the whole time and we were trying to like obviously it was very tiny hot tubs we were trying to kind of you know assert dominance and be the only people in the hot tub these people just wouldn't leave they just get they get getting cooked in there like a stew so so they inserted their dominance inside you they inserted their dominance all over us also two and a half hours they definitely pissed in that thing three times minimum oh yeah true and that's a tiny piss pool tiny piss pool yeah but it's the chlorine bubbles
Starting point is 00:22:17 the dust heat kills the piss off right it kills the pit jason's got something old couple yes yes yes yes and a third oh they had a third swingers that's nice miami miami all right jason what's our question that's that was our uh ante antecedent there's no questions it's just news just got no question hey guy goes to miami stops working i question or news uh all right so this is fresh i think this is yesterday love a fresh but scientists have resurrected the dire wolf i don't know if you guys saw this i have seen this is that the thing from game of thrones Yes, it is. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:58 I'd rather them bring back the dodo bird. Why? Dodo birds would be so delicious. Oh, I didn't know. Okay. I've thought about eating them for the past two years. I'm like, man, I wish. Two years is very recent.
Starting point is 00:23:09 Bro, if they went extinct, they definitely went extinct because they were so tasty, everything hunted them. I thought they went extinct because they were so dumb. That's why they called them the dodo bird. I feel like all birds are dumb. They probably weren't that dumb. Oh, I don't know. Dude, when do you think they went extinct?
Starting point is 00:23:25 18, 23. oh that's actually much closer dude i thought that they were from like 20 30 000 years ago i think they only went extinct a couple hundred years ago oh i made that up really i was close i think you're pretty i think it's like maybe 1600s or something i don't know maybe they did eat all the dirt don't don't help all right yeah so direwolves and gray wolves already share 99.5 of their dna yeah but they still use the dna extracted from the direwolf fossils but then that i'm confused because in like basically in the exact next sentence they say we aren't trying to bring something that's a hundred percent genetically identical to another species
Starting point is 00:24:01 yeah i'll be honest i watched a video on this and i did i watched a video that basically ruined the fun he basically said this is this is uh bringing back this is just making a wolf with like 20 genes from a dire wolf that's all it is and it says that in the article it says make 20 edits and 14 genes so they took they took gray wolves they edited like 20 genes and they
Starting point is 00:24:25 they made them what they found from the fossils and that's what this is I hate to ruin the fun here but that I think I mean what's wrong with that
Starting point is 00:24:33 so this is just like a like a fancy dog but what are we expecting how else are we bringing back an extinct animal well the problem is that when you see this
Starting point is 00:24:43 your first thing is oh my god they're gonna bring back a toucan or a woolly mammoth toucans not extinct I just wanted to get that out there.
Starting point is 00:24:52 I think toucans are real. I see them on the Froot Loops all the time. Oh, okay. Either way, they're going to bring back a woolly mammoth. But the thing is, if there is no 99.5% similar woolly mammoth, then you're not bringing back shit. Well, you start with 99.5, and then you get to 98, and then you get to 90,
Starting point is 00:25:08 and then I don't think you can go under 50 probably. You're telling me we can't take an elephant, inject it with something, and go, I want to change that and that and that, give it the fur gene, have it grow bigger tusks, a little taller. I think gene editing is the new craze, frankly. I think it's going to be hot, hot, hot.
Starting point is 00:25:26 Isn't that what this is? But that's different than bringing something back from extinction. Gene editing is different. I think there's a difference here between did you make a woolly elephant or a woolly mammoth, or did you just kind of make a big, hairy elephant? So what if you took a chicken, and you got in its DNA wussy, and you started changing it up and it turned into a T-Rex.
Starting point is 00:25:51 I think they already did that. Did they? Not exactly that, but I think they've edited chickens and like they've made, oh, this one has like a tail and like this one has like teeth. Okay, so what if that thing turned into a T-Rex?
Starting point is 00:26:05 Would that not count? And also, what are we going to do with these things? Are we just going to domesticate them anyway? Probably. So then this is the dog. Nah. No, but it's a dog. This is a wolf.
Starting point is 00:26:15 It is kind of just a wolf. So it says here, there's no secret that across the genome, this is 99.9% of gray wolf. There is going to be an argument in the scientific community regarding how many genes need to be changed to make a dire wolf. But this is really a philosophical question. Oh, now they're making us get philosophical. It carries dire wolf genes. They are making us, how much percent of something do you have to be to be that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:38 What would you say? Definitely more than 0.01. I mean, it's at the minimum viable number for me is 51. Oh. It's probably the same amount That you can Can you look something up for me? I don't even think about
Starting point is 00:26:54 What is a What's the horse The horse thing Where the horses fuck the donkeys You're gonna have to give us more than that The horses fuck the donkeys And they make a mule Is that what it is?
Starting point is 00:27:04 Danny's porn site How much is Is a mule 50-50? Because that thing Is neither a horse nor a donkey It's a totally different thing That was a nice use of nor there I think you're right
Starting point is 00:27:14 I think it is 50-50 Is a mule 50-50 donkey and horse It's 50-50 Oh it is 50-50 See so If this was 51% horse Would you call this a horse No
Starting point is 00:27:27 It's a fucking mule Okay so this is So then Honestly if it's anywhere in the 60-40s That's close enough For me to be Still give it leniency 99.9 is not close enough to do anything bro
Starting point is 00:27:40 I'm 99.9% human You got some Neanderthal in us That doesn't make me a Neanderthal. Jason, can you look up how many genes does a wolf have? Because if the answer was they changed 20 genes and the wolf has – I don't think this is going to – oh. Yeah, that's not enough. 20 – I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:27:59 20, just not enough. So they have 19,000 protein-coated genes and they changed 20 of them. Yeah, that's not good. That's just not enough. It just doesn't do it for me. It's not good. It doesn't – all right. I need a side note.
Starting point is 00:28:09 I'll tell you this. They're adorable though. They do look cute. Would you have one? Oh, yeah. You're probably not allowed to keep one. I'll be honest. I wouldn't really want a wolf I feel like it changes how much they look enough to people
Starting point is 00:28:24 Is this a real picture? Yeah. Yeah of them. This is a picture with the George RR Martin. There was a very their puppies I Mean that could be I mean, this is this is a real picture This is probably just a wolf or a wolf dog maybe or is that the diet wasn't I don't know those look big Meet the pups named Romulus, Remus, and Khaleesi. Oh, they flew George out. Yeah, that is. Okay, never mind.
Starting point is 00:28:50 All right. Well, then those are cool. Wow, those things are big for puppies. Yeah, I would be worried about that. George is also kind of a small guy, though, so maybe not. Is he? How tall is George R.R. Martin? Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Jason's had a vacation. He's doing everything except writing the last book. I think it said 5'6". Couldn't find his height. Oh, it's 5'6". I saw it. Okay. Kind of short, dude.
Starting point is 00:29:12 a little bit short direwolf might might have a problem there so what do you think about the percentage question well which what does that mean well what percentage are you spanish what 13 so i wouldn't call you spanish he's more spanish than they are dire that's true far more and you're far more spanish than they are yeah the most there is an insanely hard uh time magazine cover about these though can you look up time magazine direwolf what do you mean hard like it's fucking sick it goes crazy it goes crazy all right well you better not have oversold this shit yeah let's say it just like yes extinct with the fucking slash through it i think that's hard what do you think a little oversell there i think don't don't make me answer
Starting point is 00:29:56 oh come on i like it i wouldn't don't make me answer please i think it gets him um like his creative juice is flowing for sure it's just like it's just like bold it's just like wow extinction no longer i feel like i feel like this is the type of stuff jt would be talking about this because you know jt's a little bit of our local dog blower no i'm just saying i mean i don't give a shit about the it's a wolf first of all i don't care about that it's just this is nice i think it's nice jt what do you think about it um i i think man this thing i feel like this thing is closer to a dog than it is a dire wolf honestly like if you had to lay him out on a spectrum again i don't know that's probably wrong but yeah i'm just i mean i'm glad i'm glad people
Starting point is 00:30:40 are talking about people are excited about it but this does feel like a little bit of i'm happy about this because that means we're technically no matter what size step one step closer to jurassic park that's true and i will i would go to jurassic park yeah yeah well i mean at this point i think they've learned to do an island it's much much smarter well no it didn't it didn't go well for them when they did the island either yeah but at least it was actually it was all wasn't it contained to the island still it was all and every one of them was an island no flying so why they call the the new one jurassic island they didn't it's not but you guys didn't see the movie with chris brad jurassic island
Starting point is 00:31:17 jurassic world pretty sure it's island i'm pretty sure and and that's only called that because the dinosaurs got out of the island off the island yeah you can't do any swimming dinosaurs and no flying dinosaurs i'll tell you what they're gonna do both those that's gonna be first of all i don't have to dinosaurs were birds anyway it has to be flying the most exciting the most surprising part about all of this is finding out that the world was more than 2 000 years old for me what that's what that's what that's what i've been taught wait that's what we were i don't think anyone's Wait, what are you talking about? I think what you're talking about, he's making a joke, but you also got it wrong.
Starting point is 00:31:56 I think it's 6,000. Is it? Well, people don't think that Jesus just spawned in and then the world started. I think it's like 2,300. What did they teach us? I think he's referring to the creationist belief, which is 6,000. How many years old did the Catholics think the world is? But we learned about Alexander the Great and everything.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Yes, that was after. we learned about no but even like in roman history goes back yes six thousand yes so this is ten thousand years old honestly honestly four thousand bc that's far enough well this well this is too far this is four thousand years before this the direwolf that's actually not that long ago that's pretty long i think they should get more ambitious they should go with something from like fifty thousand years ago did you see something that were closer to the t-rex than the t-rex was the triceratops yeah what the fuck is that that's weird do you think there's something about the cleopatra too cleopatra is closer to iphone yeah they say iphone but just us yeah but it's it's
Starting point is 00:32:59 cooler though it is cooler uh then to the building of the great pyramids oh my god never see the pyramids from above we got the pyramids from both we're just letting putting jason to work today i don't mind looking yeah what about the pyramids from above what does that matter this fucking city right there yeah I thought they were in the desert
Starting point is 00:33:17 they are I mean they still kind of are right by definitely you could have I didn't know that I could have
Starting point is 00:33:23 a house with a pyramid view let's just let's just call it that gotcha let's just say that it's not the nicest area
Starting point is 00:33:29 I've never been yeah I've never been either it honestly I would love to go on I would love to is there something wrong with me
Starting point is 00:33:37 that I don't care to see these I don't I think if you saw it in person, I think your mind would change a little bit. Well, I'm already there. Not going. But, you know, to be fair, I've said this a bunch, but I did say the same thing about the Eiffel Tower.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Like, I thought the Eiffel Tower, when I saw it, was probably—as soon as I saw it, I was like, okay, nothing has ever done it justice in media, like, until you see it. Oh, wow. Maybe I would think the same, but I feel like I just—I don't—I just don't—they're just rocks. You know what I mean? They're so old. They are old. They're such old rocks, and they're so big.
Starting point is 00:34:11 It's, like, essentially the oldest thing you'll ever see. What's cooler? Nah, man, my, my, never mind. Well, the cooler. You're me, ma. The cooler part to me about the pyramids is all the weird math facts about them, like how they line up with the North Star. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:24 Like, their math calculation is equal pi or something. Like, that's, that's cool. Like, I don't need that. I don't need to see them to calculate that. You know what I mean? I would love to see the pyramids. You look like a pyramid guy. I would love to see the pyramids.
Starting point is 00:34:35 You're looking at them right now. There you go. I'd love to see them in person. There you go. I want to smell them. Oh. okay i get it sand in the air i get it the heat's bearing down on me that might be a problem they used to be covered in like gold or something i thought it was like white yeah they used to be
Starting point is 00:34:52 covered like limestone i think the tips were gold look up how the pyramids used to look that's from indiana jones i think no no no or the mummy they were covered in something that has degraded over the thousands of years um and then i think the tips were gold but i don't know about the gold apart um i have no polished white that's how they used to look and then look gold tip see that see that's cooler yeah that's if it still looked like that damn bro it had to be aliens there's no way how does it look like that if they're not lying about how it used to look that looks like the bass pro shop almost yeah it really does the bass pro shop what the bass pro shop has the like second biggest pyramid in the world or something yeah i would love to go to that pyramid first
Starting point is 00:35:39 honestly the best pro shop too yes there's a whole hotel inside it's great bass bass pro shop has like for in terms of man-made pyramids in the world they hold like the number five spot or why do they have a pyramid it's in tennessee oh it's their the the their it's oh wow it's the shop it's got a hotel look at this thing it's beautiful it is very beautiful ducks unlimited what is wow sir isaac bass really really did well for himself although honestly this this this looks like a fraction of the size of the great pyramid yeah it does well you didn't see the back of this it's a it's a pyramid i mean once i can this actually doesn't look that big well it's the fifth i don't know bro that looks big dude what are they're they're big pyramids in mexico too
Starting point is 00:36:28 but they're like the Aztec pyramids so it has like the stairs on the side it's 321 feet high and then the great pyramid of Giza is 481 so pretty good it's almost as spectacular
Starting point is 00:36:45 I'd say considered one of the largest pyramids in the world I mean it's big bro I don't understand it's a little fishy to me why that they're using a pyramid like that there's something wrong Something wrong.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Illuminati-esque, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, I wonder how they got into that. Like, did they build this? Maybe Bass Pro Shop is a big pyramid scheme. I don't believe that they built this. What? Aliens built that? No, I'm saying, like, I think another company that was more pyramid-themed built that,
Starting point is 00:37:15 and then the Bass Pro Shop was like, we'll take that off your hands. Like a Bernie? That sounds... Like, who built the pyramid? Oh, go down a little bit. Memphis Pyramid is said to be two-thirds the replica of the Pyramid of Giza. What did you try to— Is now home to the biggest outdoor recreation store on the planet.
Starting point is 00:37:35 So that means there was something in there before that. I think whoever created—Johnny Morris just liked pyramids and wanted inside the Memphis Pyramid, originally a basketball arena. That makes less sense to me. Wait, so it was built over a fishing bet? Says he agreed to build it If they caught a 30 pound catfish
Starting point is 00:37:55 And then they did What the fuck That was the greatest Bet of his life Wait Can you tell me Why was this built It says over a bet
Starting point is 00:38:03 We're looking at As a venue We're looking at For sporting and entertainment events Can we look up Memphis Pyramid Basketball I want to see the court What is
Starting point is 00:38:13 Are you okay And the seating arrangements I want to see Well it's probably You know what It's kind of Like an amphitheater It's a terrible design
Starting point is 00:38:20 for, like, a theater of any kind. Oh, they made it round anyway. Wow. You see, that cannot be the inside. It is. That is very cool. That's enormous. It looks normal.
Starting point is 00:38:30 Yeah, but from the top, you can probably see the little point up there. Uh-huh. You mean from the bottom? Yeah. Right. The exact opposite. Oh, now we're getting pictures of wraps.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Okay, fine. Oh, I would love a wrap. Oh. I want some ramen, too. Oh, my God. Let's go to Mr. Topgolf. Today? Fuck you.
Starting point is 00:38:47 We're supposed to go to Topgolf, so fucking... Oh, not going to Topgolf. But either way. Topgolf vlog coming soon. Topgolf vlog coming soon. If we say it, it must be true. Oh, my God. We said it here now.
Starting point is 00:38:56 Stop saying things. Topgolf vlog coming soon. All right. We got to whack a ball. Jesus. Okay. We got to calm him down. JT, tell us where to...
