Starting point is 00:00:00 Because the wheel is the first invention like ever. Now you got me going. What do you mean? You have 40% of a door, you're going to count that? Stealing my thunder. I have all these things. Well, how about you give them out? Would you consider this a door?
Starting point is 00:00:13 No, Danny. This is absolutely a door. When it's in function, it needs to be on an axle. I would agree with that. That's how a wheel works. Welcome back to the Picky Boys podcast. Today, we're diving right into the hottest debate on the internet. at Wheels vs. Doors.
Starting point is 00:00:30 It's been all over TikTok, and it's really split the country down the middle. Straight down the middle. Straight down the middle. In half. I'm boycotting all Doors. Never using them again. I'm wearing my The Doors t-shirt.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Great recording artist. Danny is Team Doors. And I'm going to, for the purpose of today's podcast, I'm going to be Team Doors. So we'll put a poll on the Instagram, picky boys um instagram but so essentially the basis of the argument is what is what are there more of in the world doors or wheels i think the answer is without a doubt wheels like just just functionality and vehicles and spares wheels that's me see so so my my take here is that
Starting point is 00:01:21 I think it's Doors, and it's really not split down the middle. Most people are on team wheels, and so my sole objective for the day is to not even convince you that Doors have an overwhelming majority because they don't. I just want to highlight some Doors that you may be overlooking and show you that it is closer than you think. So you preface the argument by saying that I'm right? No. That's exactly what you just said. I'm trying to I'm letting the people
Starting point is 00:01:52 I'm not saying who's right and who's wrong I'm letting the people decide that I'm just saying here are some arguments for some doors you may have overlooked some unopened doors perhaps JT unplugged it was never plugged in I'm not hearing you guys
Starting point is 00:02:06 this is just muffling my noise JT never plugged crystal clear what is your stance I love a good underdog story exactly and doors are the big underdog yeah exactly this is what i'm saying i love a good underdog story but i also love being realistic and i think it's just like almost any way you slice it it's unequivocally wheels unless you like put enough random constraints on on what a
Starting point is 00:02:37 wheel is which i've seen a lot of people do for example they're like you know toy wheels don't count which is like why the fuck not it's a it's still a wheel and like if you put enough random constraints on what a wheel is then maybe but i think it's just it's just wheels yeah i i totally agree i think i've seen a lot of people online putting too many constraints on what is and what isn't a wheel and um i think that i'm i think that's the wrong way to look at this i think the broader it is the better this argument becomes because i think people also aren't thinking hard enough about what is truly a door true and and you know the first your first uh the first place your mind might go is oh uh wheels on cars or doors that's actually how this argument started
Starting point is 00:03:19 it started from one tiktok that said are there more doors in buildings or car wheels on cars oh really obviously the answer there is doors oh yeah if that's if that's it yeah and then it and then it kind of morphed into are there more doors or are there more wheels in the in the world and everywhere and now we're trying to discuss what's the platonic ideal form of a wheel and a door and is this a door is this a wheel because at the base without thinking a little extra hard every car probably has an average or at least at max four doors but you forget some cars have two doors right and cars always underneath have four wheels unless it's an 18 wheeler or a motorcycle but you know what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:04:02 So I think cars... And I'd say 99.9% of the time have a spare tire. Have a spare tire. And the steering wheel. And the steering wheel. The steering wheel. So when you're getting into a car, it does look like it's team wheels.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Again, as we get more into doors, there are many people who would consider maybe a trunk-a-door. Okay, so... This is the crux of the entire argument. It's what is a door? Okay. And that's the question here.
Starting point is 00:04:34 So if you count the, let's just say, let's just go step by step. If you count the trunk, then you would have to inevitably count the hood, right? I think averaged out, because a lot of cars, again, have two doors or 18 wheelers. I think wheels still beat that wash. Wheels still have a slight advantage when it comes to cars because of things like, you know, motorcycles, 18 wheelers, things like that. But I don't think – I don't subscribe to the fact that it's – what you're essentially saying is that it's six wheels to every four doors. I would argue that for a normal sedan, we're talking about six doors versus six wheels. All right, but that's –
Starting point is 00:05:12 Make it a wash. But again, it's not a wash because there's two – there's coupes and – I said that at the beginning. You have a slight advantage over that, but the normal car in general, wash. you're saying i'm right but then saying you're right no you have a you you there's a there's i don't know so that's not a watch that's not what a wash means no i'd say probably of you you have a a few million of a slight advantage but i'm saying in general the car is a wash because if it wasn't then you would have however many cars exist times two at an advantage and i don't think
Starting point is 00:05:48 that's what you have can you help me here does that this does not make sense does this not make sense i think i mean we're all in agreement here danny's just putting in weird words we could just move on okay can we talk about real quick why is this weird real quick it's not making any sense real quick what do you wait hold on i'm really confused oh you know now you got it now now you got me going what do you mean you're saying he's right so it's i'm saying that there's a he's right but he's not as right by as much of a margin as he maybe first thought that's all you're saying yeah and that's fine whatever and by a huge margin by hundreds of millions there's a big difference sure maybe but not maybe sure okay so real quick we actually did a count of this house what did
Starting point is 00:06:26 the final we did count of all the wheels and all the doors and we can discuss what we counted as doors like kitchen cabinets are all doors yes of course the washer machine door the dryer door the dishwasher door and the oven door all doors absolutely and what was the final count doors actually won doors won by i would say it was probably 10 to 1 yeah that's i would give that fair 10 to 1 yeah in the house in the house that is that that that is a it's a it's a door heavy it's door heavy it's a door heavy thing and see on the average household's probably heavy on doors yes uh you know you can take all the average homes in america and it's not you know they have multiple multiple doors and this this is really where doors doors excel in cities because cities
Starting point is 00:07:07 are low in cars and low in wheel infrastructure and plentiful in doors. Think about one Manhattan sky-rise dense apartment building. You're talking about thousands and thousands of doors. You're right, but then I think doors loses a lot of its steam when we head into factories. Just think about the biggest company in the world, the Amazon facilities. You ever see a video of them sorting packages? It's literally just floors and floors and floors of wheels, of wheels and different like sending the package this way this way this way this way factories pulleys even the gym equipment we have a lot of wheels factories i think wheels galore i have no i have noticed that i've seen a lot of i've seen a lot of factories on tiktok in the past few days
Starting point is 00:07:49 that's you know like you said there are uh amazon says there's miles of these wheels of essentially conveyor belts that are wheels so that that that's a that's definitely a big win for wheels um i'm I'm ready for your door side. That's a good one. Also, people forget or don't think about how many wheels are in literally everyday appliances because we have a lot of our drawers upstairs. The drawers in the kitchen and stuff have two wheels, one wheel on each side. Some of them have four.
Starting point is 00:08:20 That's true. Are gears wheels? See, this has been highly contested. If gears are wheels, it's not even fucking close. Not even out of the Moby Dick. Are gears wheels? I don't know about that. I think definitely, but I'm willing to strike.
Starting point is 00:08:39 What's your definition of a wheel that wouldn't include gears? How would you frame a definition of the wheel that doesn't include gears? Because it really follows every – it's on an axle. It follows everything. That is true. I mean, it lacks an ability to roll. See, I don't think a wheel – it spins. Does a wheel need to roll?
Starting point is 00:08:59 I don't think the wheel itself needs – the wheel needs to spin for sure. If you hand me a gear, I can get it to roll. You can't roll a gear. I can get it to roll. Oh, what? Of course you can't. You can't roll a gear down a hill. Oh, Danny, Jesus.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Are you unbelievably wrong on that? Yeah, 100%. What do you think a gear looks like? That's not the point of it, so it doesn't matter. I guess it depends on what gear you're using. Something being round doesn't make it a wheel, so it doesn't really matter because you could absolutely roll it. But it spins, and it's on an axle.
Starting point is 00:09:26 A steering wheel is not actually moving around. It's just you're spinning it to... True. So if a gear is a wheel, then what would a door be defined as? Is it just a thing on a hinge? Is that what a door is? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Well, I gave you gear. Give me something that you think counts as a door, and we'll talk about it. I think a door fundamentally is something on a hinge. That might not necessarily be true. I think that anything that is on a hinge that swings open or a hinge-like mechanism is a door in my world. I would argue that true, but you have to add the stipulation of things have to pass through it with purpose. If we're saying wheels have to move with purpose at some point, the door has to have purpose.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Well, you're actually saying they don't have to move with purpose in order to be counted. If you never use your spare tire, does it not count as a wheel until you use it? The purpose of it has to be to spin. Okay, fine, but we know that it can be used on a car. I'll bring up, for my purpose, window. You said you were trying to count windows. I'm saying windows don't have a purpose like a cabinet would. Like, are things passing through?
Starting point is 00:10:49 I don't think that the passing through is technically necessary to be a door. It unbelievably is. I just don't think that's necessarily what a door is. Well, either way, what were you going to count? I think if you pass through, even once, it could potentially be a door. Or if it just reveals something. If you put a door on to, and you put a wall behind it, it's still a door. you can't pass through it you can't go through it it but you can open it and there's a brick wall
Starting point is 00:11:21 yeah that is still a door to me that's more like that and yeah i agree and but to me that's more comparable to uh a spare tire and it's like it's the door's not in function it's still a door it's really not it used for its intended function but but i would still count that as a door yeah just like we would count a spare tire so so so so i i think fundamentally a door does not have to be pass-through-able in order to be called a door. What object do you want to count as a door? What are you trying to count as a door?
Starting point is 00:11:52 No, I'm just laying down a foundation. We've glossed over transportation quite a bit. I think another place doors excel with very few wheels is a cruise ship. A lot of doors
Starting point is 00:12:07 on a cruise ship and notoriously no functioning you know, a lot of gears. Travel wheels. A lot of gears. That's true. These gears are really throwing a wrench in my plan. See, the thing is you know why I think wheels wins? Because the only way to get
Starting point is 00:12:23 wheels comparable to doors is just to keep chopping down things that are wheels. Yeah. We can't count gears. We can't count this. You can't count this. You can count gears. I'm giving you gears. No, I'm not saying you specifically, but I'm saying the arguments out there. It's like we can't count toy
Starting point is 00:12:39 wheels it's like because if you count like what is the thing that if there were no rules if there were nothing no rules no limitations what is the number one thing and number one thing like what is the number count as a as a door that might not pass by our our rules like there are no rules i want to save that till the end because it's a real stretch can we go back to the automobile back to the automobile thing danny when was the last time you got your doors replaced That's a good question. I have never. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Because I got my tires placed a month ago. Those tires still exist somewhere. True. You know? And you have to get them replaced about every two years or something. I don't fucking know. See, I'll give...
Starting point is 00:13:20 This is... I'll say something for doors, though. Okay. Because if we're counting... I'll flip a little bit. If we're counting graveyards of tires, then what about... Those definitely count.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Then what about just graveyards? That was one of my points. Speaking of graveyards, Every casket. You could take it right from me, I guess, even though I had a perfect... Well, you're stealing my thunder. I have all these things. Well, how about you give them out like we're doing?
Starting point is 00:13:46 Yeah, you have to. I only have a few things, so you have to spread them out. So shush. Graveyards, every coffin has two doors. You're bad at debating that I have to come up with two doors. Why two? It's a front and the top and the bottom portion of the door. Everyone is awake and half of it is open.
Starting point is 00:14:05 I don't think it's every, but let's say 1.5 average. Almost every modern coffin has two doors. Older coffins only have one door. I would absolutely count all those, yeah. That's billions of doors. Well, arguable, arguable. I mean, even if it's billions of doors, if we're counting tire graves, that's like trillions of tires. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:14:28 I know, probably not trillions, but it's probably the same. I don't think so. I would also argue it's not billions, for sure, without a doubt. I mean, why is that? Well, we were just throwing people into ditches and cremation. Yeah, so many. A lot of them. But coffins have long been a tradition.
Starting point is 00:14:44 But once it decays to a point it's no longer a door, it's not like, oh, this door existed at one point. Because the wheel is the first invention like ever. We're not talking if it exists. Decaying doors, decaying wheels. Well, I'm saying when you put wood underground, it decays very quickly. No, he's saying if we could count coffins from the 1800s that are clearly no longer there, then we could count the cavemen making the first wheel. 1800s, forget about it.
Starting point is 00:15:12 He's talking billions. I know. So if we could count the cavemen wheels again. Because they were a wheel at one point. Look at this rock right here. It used to be a wheel. Look at this rock wheel again. Blown out of the water.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Blown out of the water. Anything you have. I have immediately. I don't want to be on team doors anymore. You know what? That's it. Because I think those should count. I think every wheel that has ever existed should count.
Starting point is 00:15:35 And I think every door that's ever existed should count. Just because a door is decayed, this begs the question. If something no longer exists? At what point of decay is the door not a door? If I could touch the skeleton, probably not a door anymore. Probably not. If there's a big door with a punched hole through it, is that a door? That's still a door, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:57 You could touch a skeleton. No, that's still a door. Well, now it's a door with a little window. So chemically, how much does it have to decay for it to not be a door? 50%. Who knows? 50%? Give it the same as a wheel.
Starting point is 00:16:11 I'll take a half a door. That's a door to me. Half a door is a door to me. Half a door is a door to me. If it's 51%, majority gone. Majority wins, baby. Majority wins, baby. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:21 I like to count. You have 40% of a door. You're going to count that? I'd count a door with 10%. I'll count a door as much as you could bring a bill to the bank. As long as you have 51% of a ripped bill, they'll give it to you. I'd count 10% of a door as a door. That literally makes no sense.
Starting point is 00:16:37 It's like ripped jeans. If a burglar has no effort to get into my house, I'm not counting it as a door. I'd count 50%. That's a very bad litmus test for a door. You're counting 10% of a door. If a burglar can get through it? No, has some amount of trouble getting through it. If I walked up to the front door.
Starting point is 00:16:59 I respect every door. If there was 10% left, I wouldn't be like, what's wrong with our door? I'd be like, where's the fucking door, Danny? Where's the goddamn door? You know, it's a great point. But first, before you reinstalled a new door, you would have to take off the door. I don't think you would. I think it would be off because it's 10%.
Starting point is 00:17:19 And speaking, I think in nature, there are actually animals that also make doors. No animals will make wheels. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Because those are doors. They don't have hinges. By your own definition, they don't have hinges. I said hinge-like mechanism. Review the tape.
Starting point is 00:17:35 I said hinge-like mechanism. There is something called the trapdoor spider. I was about to say, you're going to count the spiders? And I will count the spiders because they make a door. It's a hinge-like mechanism. No way that counts. There's no hinge. It's a hinge-like mechanism.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Where's the hinge? The hinge is the one side that it rotates on. But there's no mechanism there. It's just like a little piece of whatever their silk and the debris they collected. They actually use the silk. I'm going to make a broad statement here. Wait, wait, wait. We're still on a podcast one at a time.
Starting point is 00:18:11 They use the silk as the hinge. Look it up. I'm going to make a broad statement here. What are they called? The trapdoor spider? Trapdoor spider. Misnomer. Misnamed.
Starting point is 00:18:23 They're really the hatch spider. They are not a hatch. They are the hatch spider. Why is it a hatch and not a door? Actually, I'm pretty sure that... It's a hatch? Why? Also, Eight-Legged Freaks. I'm pretty sure that...
Starting point is 00:18:32 What? It's a good movie. Like, there's a hatch spider that grows, or a door that grows very big, and really what they do is kind of just lay shit on top of them and just... Isn't there a spider that makes its own wheels? Yeah, it's called the wheel spider.
Starting point is 00:18:46 The wheel trap spider. I saw a Wikipedia page that said that they specifically use the silk as the hinge-like mechanism to keep the debris that they've collected on a hinge-like mechanism. Take your 50,000 doors. I'll give you your...
Starting point is 00:19:03 Oh, no. There's definitely a lot of spiders. There's millions, millions of trapdoor spiders. There's 236 species of trapdoor spiders. Hatches are, at first, at most, arguably doors.
Starting point is 00:19:12 At most. And then a spider hatch without a hinge? Like, that's... I'm giving you a lot of leeway here, Danny. It's a lot. Well, this is an argument that requires a lot of leeway.
Starting point is 00:19:22 And if you took a hatch that was on the ground to get into your nuclear bunker, it's a large hatch, and you simply... You would at least have a hinge. And it has a hinge, and you lift it up,
Starting point is 00:19:33 and then you simply turned it around. Now it's a door? I said fine. That makes no sense. No, I said fine. A hatch is every... It's not even... Oh, maybe it is.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Every hatch is a door. Fine. Let's say I'll give you that. Let's say that's true. Every hatch. Let's say that's true. Every submarine. All right.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Again, let's say that's true. Now, a spider laying a leaf on top of it to catch a cricket. It has a silk gear-like mechanism. Now it's a gear. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Oh, so it's a gear-like mechanism. Hold on. It has a silk hinge-like mechanism.
Starting point is 00:20:08 I'm going to set this stipulation for both sides, I think is fair, that any door wheel found in nature shouldn't count. Because it starts getting iffy every way. Like, now silk and a leaf is a door? That's a good point. The reason I count these things is because one of humans' greatest achievements is the creation of the wheel. Danny should have been a politician.
Starting point is 00:20:33 And for that, we have excelled in society. But doors are the backbone of many predators. What the fuck does this have to do with anything? The backbone of many. Only spiders, no? They hide behind things. They use it to close off a shelter. Doors exist in nature, and to cast them aside
Starting point is 00:20:56 just because it doesn't fit your narrative is disgraceful. It's not because it doesn't fit our narrative. It's because it doesn't fit our definition. So why can't, like, don't beavers move other logs with other logs? Like, why can't those count as wheels? Make that argument. No, I'm saying you should just wash it all. It's very dumb.
Starting point is 00:21:13 It doesn't make any sense. And I don't know if I would call those wheels. I'm washing wheels and doors in nature because I don't think a leaf and a piece of silk should count as a door. I also don't. Because I'll just fucking fuck you, spider. This is going nowhere fast.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Is this your strongest argument? Oh, that was definitely one of them. Okay. I want to hear your weakest argument. That wasn't one of my strongest arguments in terms of numbers, but that's one of the most concrete examples of a door of a door.
Starting point is 00:21:43 No, no. So I want to hear your most abstract. thing that exists in the world that no one on earth considers a door and for this argument you're gonna go that's a door that's what I want to hear first I'll need a piece of paper as a demonstration and an exacto knife
Starting point is 00:22:00 side note are you gonna do this on your ok ok ok here we go he's gonna cut three lines and go door I'm gonna cut three lines and I'm gonna say door
Starting point is 00:22:12 would you consider this show it to the camera not to me would you consider this a door again I'm gonna say that doesn't have a hinge a hinge like mechanism
Starting point is 00:22:25 I'm gonna say it doesn't have a hinge like mechanism would you consider this a door no Danny this is absolutely a door how in what
Starting point is 00:22:31 in what way is it not a door I mean it doesn't have a hinge or it doesn't have a hinge or a hinge like mechanism this is whether
Starting point is 00:22:38 to the people whether you think wheels or doors are are you know which one's more prevalent to say
Starting point is 00:22:45 this is not a door is asinine. But what does this mean? First, because we said no. We said no immediately. And we gave reasons. You gave no reason. I unbelievably said it doesn't have a hinge.
Starting point is 00:23:00 And if you don't think this is a hinge-like mechanism, then I don't think you know what a hinge is. I said it doesn't have a hinge. And I think it doesn't have a hinge-like mechanism. Let's stick with it doesn't have a hinge. Either way, the point is, I would consider this a door. Fine. much like the argument before with the brick wall i would consider this a door still
Starting point is 00:23:21 my argument here is that every page of every book on earth is a door to the next oh jesus that's my argument and i and and and and it is predicated off of the fact that it is a it is a Did you think we were going to say yes to this part? Of course not. It is a rectangular piece that works on a hinge-like mechanism, much like every book that's ever been published. And as you, again, that's why I don't think, that's why it was so important for me to establish
Starting point is 00:23:55 that you don't need to technically put things through a door for it to be a door. Each page goes on its hinge to the next and becomes a door to the next part of the story. So if I took a decent-sized stack of papers and I stapled one side, these would all become doors now? You have, under this theory, a collection of doors. That's actually closer to a door than that because that has a hinge, maybe, in a weird world. It has a hinge-like mechanism.
Starting point is 00:24:30 No, it has a staple. That's more of a hinge than that. He's just talking about the spine of a book. Yeah, I'm talking about the spine of the book. That was one of the most beautifully said terrible dumb opinions I've ever heard. And listen, a simple no would have been fine. I told you that I was going to reach for the stars, and if you reach for the stars, land amongst the moon.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Okay. Or the opposite. Besides that, do you believe that's a door, as Danny? I believe that's a door. That's law. A test determined that was a law. A test determined. I think that – and in a way, I believe that all literature is a door into a new world.
Starting point is 00:25:11 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Stop, stop, stop. We're not counting metaphors. Oh, I'm sorry. I can't have opinions and beliefs and poetic sentiments. I want you to find one other person that I can test and make sure that person is okay that would say that's a door. To me, the argument is a series of if yes, then this. But our answer was no to the first part,
Starting point is 00:25:41 and then our answer was no to the second part. But you, I hate to break it to you, you're not the authority on what is and isn't a door. We have an IQ above 100 that we could determine. And I have an IQ above you, Senegal Studios. Look it up. That's a fair point. and and so so so i i would just say this you know just just take the test yourself is does a door
Starting point is 00:26:05 need something to pass through it if no then that on to the next does a door need to have a hinge like mechanism if yeah it's like a flow chart if yes then next and if if if all of these statements you believe to be true then there is nothing to say that every page of every book is not a door Well, so here, Danny, let me – back to your example, right? This – I'll tell you this. This, more of a door than a page of a book. And why is that? The surrounding area, something could potentially pass through.
Starting point is 00:26:45 The book does not. Nothing passes through the space that the door closes. Which we did agree we thought counted as a door. The door closes the space for something to pass through. So you're saying a door requires a door frame. Yes, but again, a door at Home Depot is still a door. I don't care about the walls. I don't care about the frame.
Starting point is 00:27:10 I care about doors. And to me, a door is simply a passageway from one thing to another thing with a hinge-like mechanism. But again, the book isn't a passageway. It is. To the next page. No, it's not. It is. No, it's specifically not because it...
Starting point is 00:27:27 But I could get to page 100 without going through pages 50 to 60. Yeah, you're flipping five doors, 100 doors at a time. Also, this is... This is the argument. Yeah, but this is getting... Danny, this is getting abstract because, like we said, like, yes, that's in the shape of a door, sort of. It doesn't have a hinge.
Starting point is 00:27:46 And it's whatever. Like we said before, not every circle is a wheel. like this isn't a wheel well it could be now it just rolled like it's a wheel like no but antonio thinks it is a wheel well if you're counting that i'm saying like i don't think antonio thinks that is no no i don't but i'm saying but i'm saying it rolled but i'm saying it did roll i'm saying if you're counting that then like and then if you're counting that then i can count every ball and that could have a that could have a purpose to move something every tree that has fallen that can roll could technically count as a wheel because i can like put something
Starting point is 00:28:19 on top of it and move with it. Rolling isn't the quality of a wheel. I mean, if it's a circle... If this is the definition of door, then rolling is the quality of a wheel. And if it's a circle, and I can move something on it, then yeah. And I challenge you to accept those things. But I'm saying I'm not, because I know
Starting point is 00:28:35 how dumb that is to think. And regardless of whether it's dumb or not, I said at the beginning of this argument, defining things, like saying this isn't, this isn't, this isn't, is not the way to approach this argument. Open the door. It's definitely a way for the real side to approach it
Starting point is 00:28:51 because only the door side is coming up with these convoluted things. And I'm just saying, I think you should open your mind, open the door, and take a chance. And with this argument, we're talking about trillions of doors. There's no reason the real side should let the door side come up with fairy tales on how to make more doors. It's not. But Danny, back to the door frame thing,
Starting point is 00:29:18 the door frame doesn't need the door doesn't need the door frame to be a door like you said the doors at Home Depot are doors but their function needs to have a door frame so like the wheel needs an axle for my definition but it doesn't need an axle on it at the moment but when it's in it's function when it's being
Starting point is 00:29:34 used like those spare tires it needs to be on an axle to be functioning that's a fair definition and I disagree with that definition that's my that's my argument I rest my case Every page of every book that's ever been published, written, is a door. Anyone who agrees at that point probably has to agree with Team Doors.
Starting point is 00:29:56 But I don't think you're going to get many people at that point. I think these people, again, they just need to think outside the box. I rest my case. That was your powerhouse? Well, the coffins, definitely a powerhouse. Even the ones that aren't, there's still hundreds of millions of coffins. Yeah. And this is a powerhouse because, again, if you believe in the argument,
Starting point is 00:30:31 I mean, it's simply trillions of doors. Trillions. Yeah, probably. I mean, yeah, if you... Trillions. That's a good question. How many pages of books exist? Oh, Jesus.
Starting point is 00:30:39 I looked it up following this. There's about 100 million individual books or like unique books. But then there are every copy of books. Yeah. Wow. So just one of them, the Bible, has sold 5 billion copies. Oh, that's like the one that's got the most pages out of all of them. Try reading that front to back.
Starting point is 00:31:05 And so 5 billion times, however many pages the Bible is, 600 or something. You'll start to get up there. Encyclopedias, dictionaries. The world is your door. And if you really wanted, you could just start printing your own Bibles, but just at huge font and mini books and just have trillions of pages. Open your mind and you'll be on the side of the doors. Only the door side has come up with just essentially Disney magic.
Starting point is 00:31:36 I would argue that every studio album recorded by, every single sold by The Doors, that counts too. That counts too. Anything counts too. Actually, every listen on Spotify. Every listen of Jim Morrison and The Doors should count as a door. I don't think their listens come even close to helping The Doors side. It's definitely millions.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Definitely millions. Definitely, probably 100 millions, honestly. Well, I guess. No, probably just millions. I guess I was going to give more real stats. Oh, no. I don't know why you thought that was what this was coming into. Because, you know, the wheels have the better thing.
Starting point is 00:32:11 But like I predicted, this did go the whole episode. And I think I'm cool with it, honestly. You just wanted to make this the Wheels vs. Doors episode? No, this is not the Wheels vs. Doors episode. This is, wow, Danny's that crazy episode. That's kind of what it is. But I respect it. I respect it.
Starting point is 00:32:27 I respect it. You have to understand what we've gone through the past, like, two decades. of the lengths Danny will go to win an argument. This should be in a mental hospital if you're saying every book has hundreds of doors in it. There are trillions of doors in the world.
Starting point is 00:32:43 There are trillions of doors, and we haven't even talked about meta-doors, like metaphorical doors. No, none of those count. Again, think outside the door. I'm imagining eight gazillion wheels in my mind right now.
Starting point is 00:33:01 All those count. See, those don't have the function that a metaphorical door has. What about all of our trains of thought? You know how many wheels are on a train? I'm surprised you guys didn't even mention trains. Trains are funny things to mention. Also, that's a real thing. I'm surprised you didn't name the real things.
Starting point is 00:33:21 He's like, oh, shit. I'm just saying, I was tasked today with fighting for the doors. and and and i slaved over it all all night for the for many days for for for many took him all night to rip a page for for 8 a.m in the morning he has a light bulb in his head he goes i've got it he pulls up a piece of paper and cuts a thing in it for many days i've thought how i i was i was once like you i said how on earth could wheels possibly you know not beat door how could they lose and and and then and then i was i was i was reading a book i was reading of course a book about doors right and and and i and it and it hit me you're reading about doors of course i i i went
Starting point is 00:34:09 to the library i got three books about different types of doors the the answer was in front of him the whole time the answer was in front of me the whole time sometimes yeah you're looking too closely you gotta take a step back as soon as he stepped in the library he had the answer that's my case I might just leave this whole thing in that's my case fuck it
