Starting point is 00:00:00 Danny, we were already calling you and knew immediately everything that had happened. We are not exact. This is all stuff that he actually said. Under my umbrella, you know. Million dollar lawsuit. He's gone. I'll take that million dollar lawsuit. In my search history, the last thing is, can you kill your neighbor's bird?
Starting point is 00:00:16 All right, let's do it. Ready? Yep. Welcome back to the Picky Boys podcast. Here we are. Let's go around, JT. I'm JT. You already gave it away.
Starting point is 00:00:29 I'm Danny. I'll do yours now, because you did mine. This is Trucker Tony. This is Trucker Tony. Thank you. Thank you for that. What's happening here? Your hair's a little greasy.
Starting point is 00:00:38 Do you like this? I think you need some volume. Do you like that? Sponsored by Pantene. Yeah, that is... If anybody had that hair, that's truly gross. You don't like this? I actually...
Starting point is 00:00:49 I think it works well. You need volume. I'm actually not looking in that direction from here on out, because that is not good. It's so thin and greasy. What if this guy was cooking your food? Would you like that? He probably is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:02 I'll be honest. No hair net, no nothing. Most of these restaurants that we go to, we don't want to see how the sausage is made. Oh, dude, we don't want to see anything, dude. You know how the bar and restaurant industry, you know how big drugs are in the chef's world? I don't care if they're high.
Starting point is 00:01:20 What kind of drugs? The hard, hard drugs. Heroin or coke? Yeah, heroin. They'll go to work on heroin. So I was going to say, what if he tries to do a little bump quick and it falls into my chicken marsala or something
Starting point is 00:01:31 and I'm a little extra excited after dinner. You fail a drug test. Yeah, and I lose my job, I lose my family, all because this chef was trying to do some coke while cooking my chicken. I don't care if they're high, but some of the conditions that they cook in. Right, and I don't particularly care if they're high either.
Starting point is 00:01:49 I'm just saying that that's indicative of all the other crazy... Sure, if they're high, they probably don't care about routinely changing the fryer's oil or stuff like that. I watch a lot of Bar Rescue. There's a lot of stuff that's wrong in these kitchens. What if a restaurant knew there was this one chef,
Starting point is 00:02:05 and he made the best meal ever, but only when he injects heroin? Would they just start feeding him heroin? Probably. It's expensive. That is expensive, but this dish is so good. You don't understand. People fly miles.
Starting point is 00:02:17 I don't know. I don't know the price on the market currently. I think heroin's pretty cheap as far as drug goes. What's heroin going for these days? I don't know. 20? But I know it's cheap. I'll take $20 worth of heroin, please.
Starting point is 00:02:29 Yeah, please. Crack is expensive, but it's cheaper than coke, even though it's the same. But isn't heroin expensive, but it's just cheaper than like Oxy pills or some other kind of... Yeah. What are they called? Opiates? Yeah, opioids. Methamphetamines?
Starting point is 00:02:44 No. No, that's for meth. That's meth. That's meth. Heroin is an opiate? Yeah. Yeah, opioid. Opioid.
Starting point is 00:02:50 It comes from the poppy plant. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Stop eating those poppy seeds, people. That's true. It's funny, you can fail a drug test You'd have to eat Four
Starting point is 00:03:00 At least four bagels You don't think I've eaten four bagels? You'd have to eat at least four bagels Some people have poppy seed It's come in bags Just pop them? Like potato chips? They put them on chicken
Starting point is 00:03:15 I have sesame seeds upstairs I'm not a big fan of poppy I'm not a big fan of any of the seeds we were at the party and we had pizza and there was fucking oh I love that
Starting point is 00:03:29 sesame seeds all over the crust I like that I was repulsed sesame seeds add that little extra flavor to a good crust or else you're just
Starting point is 00:03:36 eating like bread if you have a good enough crust you shouldn't have to add any flavor to it that's not true and I hate when people say
Starting point is 00:03:44 oh you don't eat the crust that's the best part no it is objectively not sorry I'm not four years old it is bread
Starting point is 00:03:51 it is bread Bread could be good. It's not the best part of pizza. If it is, order it without cheese and sauce then and have just the best part. Yeah, yeah. I totally agree with that. Yeah, people who say that
Starting point is 00:04:02 are just way stepping over their boundaries. It's when exaggerating goes too far. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. What did we talk about what happened, what transpired this weekend with me and Danny and his keys? Oh, yes. Oh, Jesus.
Starting point is 00:04:18 Yes, well, so it was a big fiasco fiasco over the weekend big fiasco big fiasco i'm at a bar drinking you know just just doing what you do with the bar and i get a call and jt's like are you home and i'm like no and he's like oh i locked myself out and i was like okay well i'm at a bar so you're really your only option is to come hang out with me so he comes hang out with me we had a grand old time drank a lot um And then JT was ready to leave, and I was not. So I was like, no problem. I'll give you my keys, and then you just leave the door unlocked.
Starting point is 00:04:57 And I said it many times. In fact, I was worried. I was about to say it more times, but I was worried I had said it too many times. I was like, this man isn't that completely dumb. JT gets an Uber. Goodbye. 2 a.m. Obviously, door's locked.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Bada bing, bada boom. Obviously, the word's locked. I'm not here. Antonio's not here. Now it's 2.30 a.m. Because I spent 30 minutes just like contemplating life and what's going on here. And I'm like, how can I get into this fucking house? So 15 missed phone calls, by the way.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Yeah, yeah. Called me 15 times. I think it was more than that. I called you in batches. I was calling everybody that I knew that was inside this house. I was trying my hardest. Nothing. It is notoriously hard to wake up and hold him.
Starting point is 00:05:43 everybody knows that well known fact so I'm saying okay what am I supposed to do so for first I'm throwing rocks at his window like it's like an 80's romance movie I should have a boom box out there like JT that doesn't work and also
Starting point is 00:06:00 I threw one rock that was a little too big and I was like I'm gonna break this fucking window and that's gonna cause a lot more problems so I had an ingenious idea at the time I thought I was connected to the wifi so i was able to i was able to connect to my fire tv with the app on the phone took the tv to 100 volume and just started playing a a variety of of sirens of alarms
Starting point is 00:06:26 sirens like nuclear fallout like alarms i could hear them from outside they were literally blaring not a thing so so so now so now the the alarms are blaring everybody outside all the neighbors could probably hear it definitely i was screaming um so you know that's why my voice sounds like this just screaming please please jt um and then i get i get i thought this was a very good idea i got cornhole bags from the backyard because those won't break the window i think if you throw anything hard enough it'll break the window you you'd be hard pressed to break a window with a cornhole bag. That'd be hard.
Starting point is 00:07:06 This is just, just continue the story. That'd be so hard. I think I could. Especially from like 15 feet away. Yeah, we know you're very inaccurate. No, no, no, no. Someone who can hit the window could definitely break the window.
Starting point is 00:07:18 I'll go buy a window and you could go try it out. There's no way you can break, either way. One throw. One throw? One throw. Are you kidding me? You couldn't break the window in 10 throws. This is rough, man.
Starting point is 00:07:30 With a cornhole bag? It really depends on the window, to be honest. it really does okay well most windows within you need better windows buddy either way i'm throwing cornhole bags just like just launching them at the thing i'm climbing the house trying to get closer i'm like i mean there's there's probably a security footage of it i just look like a fucking maniac oh my god you need to get that footage and then it's just like an hour and then it's like an hour in at this point it's like 3 15 and i'm like i think it's over it's over it's starting to rain oh and so i'm like this is this is not good uh and so you know i i was i was
Starting point is 00:08:09 just very upset and i and i went home luckily my parents live like a block away no no they live a while they live like they live a few blocks away it was a decent walk um in the in the in the rain and i got the saddest phone call from danny the next morning the most defeated sad phone call yeah they were also very upset because you know understandably they thought like something was wrong yeah they were like oh my god is everything okay and i was like yeah my roommate's just a dummy and uh and that was that but at our fourth of july party jt did surprise me with a cake um we can put a picture of it we have a picture yeah okay sorry for locking you out which i thought was a very good sorry for locking you out of my heart everybody knows that the key to my
Starting point is 00:08:52 heart is cake that's true and it's a good ass cake too it's very tasty so what's up no i was gonna say when you first woke up and realized what happened what what did you think like when you first saw like oh i have 30 something missed calls from danny a billion texts and for some reason the tv's on 100 volume with a siren playing no i woke up i woke up saw danny already calling you and knew immediately everything that had happened it all flooded right in i meant like somehow some way because i could have swore to god that i locked unlocked the store there it is coming out yes so as soon as i saw that i was like why else would danny call me like uh what was like seven eight nine yeah i was like why else would you call me right now
Starting point is 00:09:38 after a heavy night of drinking at 9 a.m so as soon as i saw that i went fuck and then i picked it up and went i was like the real thing the thing that hurt about it was that it was it was that i was lulled into a false sense of security because he texted me when he got home and said the door is unlocked. I did. And so I was like okay, he remembered and texted me.
Starting point is 00:10:01 When I walked up to the door, I wasn't even thinking it was going to be not locked. I was like, oh. And then I was like, wait a minute, please. He walked into the door because he was so confident it was going to be unlocked. Is there any windows you think he could have gotten into or no?
Starting point is 00:10:17 Not anymore. Apparently, I could have just thrown a bunch of bean bags at one of them. I mean, if you wanted a break, you could have just kicked into one of the windows, really. Yeah, that's true. I'd rather you have slept outside, but no, not anymore. There used to be before you guys were in here, but now one of us, one of our parties is usually always there. I like how the one week I'm gone, you guys lock yourselves out of the house. If it wasn't raining, I totally would have slept outside.
Starting point is 00:10:41 That is psychotic. I don't care. I'll cowboy camp. It's like in the backyard on the... On one of the lounges? Yeah, I don't care. It would have been totally fine with me. There's always a towel out there.
Starting point is 00:10:50 You get a blanket. There's always a towel. I can't sleep without a blanket, dude. No, I mean, I would have done that. I can nap without a blanket. I would sleep. I don't know. I would have done that.
Starting point is 00:10:58 You can't take a quick power nap on the couch without a blanket? If there's nothing else, but I will go to sleep much faster with a blanket. I'm literally like that meme of when you sleep over at a homie's house and they don't give you the blankets and people are using anything, furniture, cushions. I'm that person. I need a blanket. Yeah, I'm also that person. But funny enough, every time I wake up, the blanket is off.
Starting point is 00:11:18 So I need a blanket to fall asleep. And then during the middle of the night, I overheat and throw it off. I overheat and throw it off. Every time. I never wake up with a blanket. The blanket starts the race with you. It doesn't finish it. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Yes. A little push. True. Do you guys see that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna got denied from Barcade? Barcade where? In the city. God, imagine getting denied from Barcade. So they didn't have their ideas.
Starting point is 00:11:42 And on top of that, being Rihanna and not getting... Yeah, they didn't have their IDs, which is kind of dumb. Dumb, right? I mean, if I'm Rihanna, I would expect to be able to get into frickin' North Korea. I wouldn't think I needed an ID to get into a bar in the city. Just dumb. Yeah, fair. What if you get arrested or something?
Starting point is 00:12:02 I don't know. Yeah, no, I understand. Isn't it a crime? I don't know about New York. I don't think you can walk without an ID if you're over a certain age. Some states you can. I don't know. But also, I understand celebrity who's going into a place like that or just any place that's in the city and not wanting to bring anything on them either.
Starting point is 00:12:17 I could see that too. So, okay. So what do you think about that bouncer? Like just doing his job or like power trip? I think if I was the owner of that place, I would come down to that bouncer and be like, go somewhere and never come here again. See, I think that, yeah, definitely. I mean, no brainer of the owner to fire that idiot who did that. But can you fire him for literally doing his exact job description?
Starting point is 00:12:40 Yes. Yeah. Yes, you can. Legally. I'm talking about a wrongful termination lawsuit, man. I don't think you could. Yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Well, you know what? You're firing him for not letting someone in. That's his job as a bouncer, man. Yeah, but also, no. Because, so, no, he could be fired. I'm firing him. I'm firing him. You could get a million dollar lawsuit.
Starting point is 00:13:03 He's gone. I'll take that million dollar lawsuit. Just prove a point. That guy's an idiot. That guy is an idiot. He definitely is an idiot. Or maybe he's just old and he just truly doesn't know. But I mean, the swarm of fans that were surrounding them at that point should have been a...
Starting point is 00:13:15 I mean, there definitely was a bunch of people and their own bouncers and entourage kind of around them. Yeah, maybe that's it. I don't know. No way they only went with them two, right? It could have been the hundred people. Like, as their posse. It was like, this place can't even have this. We're not prepared.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Danny let's say like your dad for whatever reason was a bouncer at a bar and this happened would he know who that was
Starting point is 00:13:37 probably not but also I don't think that matters definitely not A$AP Rocky I mean you just my parents wouldn't know I think it's just context of the situation
Starting point is 00:13:47 there's these two people who have billions of paparazzi and crowds around them obviously they're probably something of importance that this place could probably use
Starting point is 00:13:55 do they just have paparazzi around them like at all times Rihanna yeah especially if there's a store especially if there's a scene in the city So there's a scene going on?
Starting point is 00:14:03 That's so weird. Yeah. They just go to the deli, then all of a sudden, next day you see pics in TMZ of you. Rihanna getting a sandwich? Dude, they caught, they caught like Hilary Duff
Starting point is 00:14:12 blowing her fiance after he proposed to her. Dude, fucking, dude, that fucking just, she released those sex tapes, didn't she? No, it wasn't sex tapes. It was just pictures
Starting point is 00:14:20 from miles away. Dude, those fucking like Justin Bieber dick pics. He was literally on like a private island and these motherfuckers were in like a submarine and they had like a camera.
Starting point is 00:14:31 It's crazy. How's his member? I haven't seen those. Probably at normal. Yeah, I mean, he was also just like, you know, standing around. It's not like he was giving it the old slap, slap show. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But no, and also, you know, I don't want to ruin the,
Starting point is 00:14:48 it was a good headline, that Rihanna thing, but they actually did get let into the bar. I read the article. Oh, so what happened? They just got. The bouncer. I just read the headline. He got stunk at first.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Yeah, I know. I read the headline, too, and I was like, and then I said something, and then someone was like, I thought they got in. And then I read the article and like essentially the bouncer, the like the manager just came in and was like, oh, no, that's fucking Rihanna. And then I got let in as as as it should have happened. But but everybody ran with the story. Rihanna gets and Ray Sabrocki get denied.
Starting point is 00:15:16 Well, I just really watched the KFC Barstool breakdown on it, which he failed to mention that. Yeah. And you know what? That's what she gets for not releasing an album in like 10 years. You know, that is true. That's what you get, Rihanna. Yeah. You know, people are starting to forget who you are. You think you're coming into our barcade? This bouncer doesn't even know who you are.
Starting point is 00:15:32 Get out of here. Well, now she's doing her, I don't know, doesn't she have like a makeup thing? She's been doing a makeup thing. She makes so much money off her makeup thing, it doesn't even matter. Infinite amount of money. Either way.
Starting point is 00:15:41 I mean, you could just quite literally just like, I would just pull up Google. Was it raining? She had an umbrella. I was like, under my umbrella, you know? Yeah, but also, I mean, if he literally has no idea who she is, like he just has to believe that this is her.
Starting point is 00:15:56 True. Yeah, but you could just be like, Nah, you can get a lookalike. You never know. Celebrity lookalikes. What about the people that... You see the guy and the girl that cosmetically changed themselves to look like Ken and Barbie? You ever see those pictures?
Starting point is 00:16:10 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not good. Not good. We're not supposed to look like that. I don't know if anybody knew. Plastic surgery has like a ceiling where it starts to look too fake and then actually looks worse. Yeah, it's like we don't need you to look like mannequins. Some plastic surgery is okay.
Starting point is 00:16:24 Like a nose job usually works on people. Yeah, I mean it's just about... I got tiny lip injections or something. There's a bunch of things. There's a bunch of Botox stuff that works well, but when you put it all together and you get addicted to that shit, then everybody has the same look. I just don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:39 See, those two surgeries are okay. Some people have honkers, dude. Some people, I understand it. Some people have honkers. For noses? Yeah. Have you ever seen Donatella Versace? That woman is full of silicone.
Starting point is 00:16:51 It's repulsive. Oh, that's right. That's what it is, silicone. It's like when you start doing that, when you start- You got to see this one. When you start, like, oh, I got to... Also, by the way, in my search history, the last thing is, can you kill your neighbor's bird?
Starting point is 00:17:03 That's another story. What answer are you looking for here? Yes. No, he's looking for... You know, you can't even kill any birds. You can't kill a pigeon. No, you can kill pigeons. No, you can't.
Starting point is 00:17:17 No, you can't. Only in Central Park. It's illegal. I just looked it up. Call me a criminal. This is wrong. I'm still doing it. We still on for our pigeon hunt.
Starting point is 00:17:26 anybody's gonna care i'll bring the slingshot yeah i'll bring the slingshot can you kill what would you use why you have to kill you have to go kill first person in this house to kill a pigeon gets a million dollars you what are you running and getting in this house to go do it i'm not my fucking hand there she is oh no you there she is okay get that out of my face you you would not be able to kill a pigeon with your beard how long this dude i'm first of all i'm getting to the city first advantage one i'll find my weapon in the city i'm going to juniper man oh oh good point now then fuck you i'm gonna i'm gonna juniper i'm bringing some bread and i'm gonna bring a you're gonna try to lure it to you now dude i'm just gonna have any guns here right no no no not
Starting point is 00:18:09 not in front of the camera at least i'm getting a big rock and just launching it at every pigeon i'm going old school way yeah no you definitely get like a slingshot first of all if you look for more than five minutes there's always a pigeon that's missing a leg and is a cripple I'm talking about right now there's an announcement. First person to kill a pigeon gets a million dollars. Are you going to build a slingshot? It's going to take you a while. That bread is a great option.
Starting point is 00:18:31 It's the only option, really. You're covered. That's my bread, bitch. I'm the one with the lock on the cover. I could kill a pigeon. The rock is the best way. If I get to the park first, I already win. You can't even break a window with a beanbag.
Starting point is 00:18:48 You can't kill a pigeon with your bare hands, though. I could kill a pigeon with my bare hands. No, you can't. Well, with bread. There's always... They land on your arm, dude. Yeah, that's true. I'll find the weak pigeon.
Starting point is 00:19:01 The one with the broken wing and one foot that looks like it came out of Vietnam. But the point is, you can't kill your neighbor's bird. But you cannot kill your neighbor's bird. That bird is literally moving in two weeks anyway. You can just hold out two weeks. Well, I was just curious. I wasn't going to do it. I was just wondering.
Starting point is 00:19:17 First of all... Wait, do you have a problem with that bird? I mean, I don't have a real problem with it. On some days, it does squawk. It does squawk. It does squawk quite loudly. Pretty loudly. It is a squawker.
Starting point is 00:19:29 Is that a morning squawker? It doesn't matter to me. I don't wake up from the shit like that. Yeah, me neither. But yeah, I don't know. I was just wondering. It turns out that it is a very commonly asked question. But there's actually, like, supposedly most birds, like, you need some kind of license to have, I guess, or something.
Starting point is 00:19:54 So they're protected? And so basically the answer all over the internet was, like, if you really hate your neighbor's bird, like, you can be a Karen and probably get it removed if you call the right agency. Yeah. Honestly, it would take so long for me to do something like that. I don't know if I ever would. Well, the problem with parrots like that or birds, they could last 40 to 60 years. So this thing could be squawking since you're a baby to you're burying somebody. Oh, it could outlive you.
Starting point is 00:20:24 It could outlive you. And I would be so angry if this goddamn squawking bird outlived me and caused me pain forever and I couldn't kill it. It could be there in the hospital watching you be born that part. And then it could be there squawking at your funeral. Squawking away. I guess it's like kids, too. It's just, yeah, that bird is evil.
Starting point is 00:20:42 if it does that yeah it's also no one owns it it just shows up yeah that'd be the fact that they talk is also weird to me hello rest in peace you bitch i thought you'd outlive me oh it's just a person it's a person get me you know i saw a fact the other day that was that said if george jetson you know the jetsons um according according to that show whatever time period it is george jetson would have been born this year because he's like 50 60 in the show or 50 in the show yeah and it happens in 20 whatever and so he would have been born this year so who knows maybe george jetson's out there yeah maybe there's someone i'm sure there's someone named it too and so you think like let's say 50 years from now we'll be at that point no no no way on earth
Starting point is 00:21:34 For some reason, there's this fascination in sci-fi with flying cars. Flying cars are so impractical. They're so dumb. Unless you're the only flying car. If you're the only flying car, it's fantastic. But once there's a thousand flying cars, there's going to be flying car roads and traffic cones. You can't just have these vehicles smashing into houses when they run out of gas. Every car crash will end in fatalities for everyone.
Starting point is 00:21:58 For everybody. We can't do flying cars, guys. Yeah, there will just be so many cars going into buildings. Imagine you're just in your apartment, and you're like, oh, and some DUI driver just comes smashing through your window. And you're on the 36th floor. Every day in every major city, there's going to be a 911. Sorry. It's just true.
Starting point is 00:22:18 I'm sorry. I feel like a little smaller. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Although, I mean, it would solve the traffic. That's the point. Because you don't need to build the road to fly on it. Self-driving would solve it first. Most of the traffic that we've been over this has been caused by asshole drivers and people who are constantly pumping the brake and accelerating and pumping the brake.
Starting point is 00:22:41 You shouldn't really even be hitting the brake that much. Technically, once self-driving cars happen, the road will be like one big conveyor belt. There will be no stopping, no go. It will just be one stream of go. Yeah, but that will be terrifying because they're so dialed in to be – in that world, they're so dialed in. and so it'll be so precise it'll look like if you're making a going through an intersection like your car will know that you're safe you won't get hit but it but it'll look like you're about to be fucking t-boned on both sides probably yeah it's like oh that was that was that was a
Starting point is 00:23:13 close one yeah like when you're uh crossing because that's i i was reading something about that but like if so driving cars like we can take any traditional three-lane highway and make it like a five-lane highway because they're well well they they just know how close they can get to each other while driving. Yeah. And also, with self-driving cars,
Starting point is 00:23:31 there will be no more, oh, God, we got to get there in 15 minutes. Like, don't worry, I could get there in seven. You know, it'll be like,
Starting point is 00:23:37 if you're 20 minutes away, you're 20 minutes away. There's nothing you could do about it. Yeah, well, that's the thing about the self-driving because I want self-driving
Starting point is 00:23:44 so bad, it sounds so cool, but they can only go the speed limit, which is so low. The speed limit's so low. Yeah, but maybe they could raise it now
Starting point is 00:23:51 if no doofs are driving. Well, the true self-driving world that we're talking about only works if you're not allowed to drive. If it's illegal to drive. Which it probably should be. That'll never happen though because it's just too I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:07 It'll definitely be illegal to drive eventually. It'll happen in these European countries first and then there'll be like a big fight about it in America and people are going to say no. It's going to be like liberals versus conservatives. You can try to pry my Ford from my cold dead
Starting point is 00:24:23 hands. I'll drive it off a cliff if I wanna. And then the liberals are going to be like, oh, look at Europe. They're doing it, and it's working for them. And then they got free cars over there, free self-driving cars. They're in the future right here. Nostradamus. Or maybe you just do what the president does and drive on their own private roads.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Supposedly, George Bush loves driving his truck, but he's not allowed to drive. Once you're the president, you can no longer drive on civilian roads. Yeah, I think that's fair. Your property, you go out, buy a ranch, and you just make a racetrack, and you take off your old buggy. You take off the cloth, and you start driving. I could see that happening. I like to picture that he goes really crazy with it, and he builds a little town, and he drives into it.
Starting point is 00:25:04 He's like, oh, I'm into town. Oh, my God. Mannequins. Mannequins. It's pressure-sensitive every time the guy goes by. Hey, George. Yeah, no, they say, hey, Mr. President, and he gets to go, call me George.
Starting point is 00:25:20 this is literally his uh that's his heaven by the way let's uh we do have to give a big congratulations to the goat joey chestnut 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes dude uh is that a pr or no yeah it is pr yeah pr it's pr i mean he's breaking them but joey chestnut was not the star of that show joey chestnut was not the show so obviously obviously a few days ago i don't know fourth july nathan's hot dog eating contest every year which was one of the funny things i was thinking about was when that thing started that the person who started nathan's hot dog eating contest was like 120 years old they could have never foreseen this yeah back when it started it was it was definitely like you said like fucking all right we'll see this man can eat seven hot dogs in 10
Starting point is 00:26:09 minutes um and now it's just been bastardized joey walnuts but um but but you're right the star of the show was the announcer um and the man the man was a poet and he was announcing again someone who whose only achievement has been to eat 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes with buns um but but he was his introduction was quite literally the universe began with energy and matter and we were graced to live in the time as this the same time as this man before you the cosmos granted us consciousness to be here during this time we are not exactly this is all stuff that he actually said he was he said this man has has surpassed the egyptian kings this man I could fuck all of your wives.
Starting point is 00:27:01 No, he didn't say that. But everything else he said, he literally said, when life on Earth is deceased and society no longer exists, this man will be there. His legacy will stand true. It was crazy. It was the craziest announcement of a man who eats hot dogs. Watch the ascension from Glizzy Gobbler to Glizzy God.
Starting point is 00:27:25 Yeah, I mean, it was true. You have to go look it up. if there's a video if i can find a video of it online i'll put it in the description i don't know if i can it maybe it's too new but it is quite literally one of the funniest things i've ever heard we were dying i'd like to think that like he he wrote this whole thing out and wanted to say it and then his boss like read it's like no you're not do the do the talk we sent you do the introduction we sent you you're not doing the space talk all right i'm gonna do the space i'm reading the room and there was a little bit of a hint because on the second one on the second
Starting point is 00:27:57 place person when he was being introduced that's when he started to show that this guy really likes this competition because when the second guy was introduced he was like the pillar of our civilization has been built on his back yeah and and at first we were all like huh that was a weird intro that was a weird line okay but all right yeah i mean it was it truly was poetry and just like and just the so extra for this yeah for this man to shove hot dogs down his throat yeah more or less he said that god gave us life to watch joey chestnut in gorge's stomach that's is that a stage name that's gotta be a stage name right i don't know joey chestnut he and it's not just hot dogs he holds he holds a lot of major league eating championships it's true and then
Starting point is 00:28:45 The guy, the second place guy, has a record for eating 83 slices of pizza in 10 minutes. It's like, how do you, like, what is... But, I mean, every time, I mean, Joey Chestnut will obviously be in the Major League Eating Hall of Fame forever. I mean, when you're watching the competition, everybody knows. It's not even a question of whether or not he'll win. The second place finisher had 50. This guy had 76. Yeah, it's a race for second place.
Starting point is 00:29:14 It's a race for second place, and it's a race to see if Joey Chestnut can beat himself. It's like, truly, it's not even like, they might as well just put the belt on him before it happens. What's Kobayashi doing? He's retired. He's retired, yeah. Was he a hot dog? Yeah, he was a hot dog. He would do two at a time like this.
Starting point is 00:29:32 But even him couldn't come close. I think his record's like 50-something. Maybe if he kept training, you know, he gave up too early. Yeah, I'm going to be up there in the record books with him when I do my six sticks of butter. I thought it was eight. I forget what it was. All I know is I looked at the record. I was looking at world champion eating records, and I was like, holy shit, I can't do that.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Holy shit, I can't do that. Holy shit. Then I saw the butter one. JT, that means that you're missing something in the info there. Nope. In the sense that I don't think you can do it. Dude, the guy who holds it right now is like that weird YouTuber. Matt Stoney?
Starting point is 00:30:08 No, no, no. It's like LA Beast or something. I like Matt Stoney. LA Beast, is that it? something with Beast. JT, we can literally do it. We could make a video. We could do it tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:30:18 I think we should. I think I could do it too. Believe that. But I just don't want to be sent to the hospital for a fucking cardiac arrest. Mark my words, though. At some point, Danny will go up against Joey Chestnut in like a minute.
Starting point is 00:30:35 For like a minute span of time. Instead of 10. Can't do 10. Actually, you know... Danny, what was your... Because we had this argument with you before. What was your estimate for what you could get? My estimate at that time was 30, which everybody still said was crazy.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Everybody still said it was insane. That is so many hot dogs. I don't think you're that far off, but I don't think you could get 30. But I think 20 for sure. Yeah. I mean, I think 20, like almost in doubt. That's 30 seconds of hot dog. Come on, guys.
Starting point is 00:31:05 I mean, that's crazy. That's hard. No, it is not. That's a lot of meat. 30 might be pushing it But that was the whole point Yeah push yourself I'm trying to push myself
Starting point is 00:31:14 Like Joey Chestnut does Joey Chestnut doesn't go Oh I can only do 75 I could honestly do Probably like 4 or 5 In 10 minutes Impossible
Starting point is 00:31:23 If you really tried But you could do 8 sticks of butter I don't like hot dogs Oh okay Well that's different Have you seen This
Starting point is 00:31:30 Olympic lady Getting busted for weed Oh yeah What a tragedy Yeah it's really rude The woman Didn't she break the record Like of the trial
Starting point is 00:31:39 from for that race i have no idea but then honestly and obviously very very dumb rule to have but like dude if you're like if you're gonna represent america and like you're the best like that dude just like lay off for a little bit yeah just don't throw it all away by smoking the conversation is not really about like oh why didn't she follow the rules more about the fact the rule is dumb right right it's like pick a lane is it is it a is it a drug that makes you lazy and you know like like like you know a piece of shit or is it a performance enhancing drug you gotta pick a lane here definitely not performance enhancing yeah and just about every major league sport in america has started to relax their rules on marijuana yeah that's true ufc
Starting point is 00:32:23 relaxed a couple years ago but uh and it's like what's and that's weird for the ufc too right because i feel like ufc was it's like the new kid sport yeah so why was it like why were they the old brain you know they relaxed it totally this year and that's why both of the Diaz brothers said that they would return this year because strictly because of that they're like now we can do it
Starting point is 00:32:43 oh are you getting Chaz's prediction that's for Sunday's episode that'll be for Sunday's we could get out of here also but we have a lot of fights coming up we have Tyson Fury Wilder and then Jake Paul Tyron Woodley which so this is a trilogy
Starting point is 00:33:00 that's a trilogy right Yeah, Trilogy, Trilogy. Then Jake Paul. Two dupes, yeah. And then at the end of the year, I think Eddie Hall versus the Mountain for Game of Thrones. That is so scary.
Starting point is 00:33:11 Also, Hasbulla is fighting. Hasbulla, yeah. I thought that might not happen. Well, they keep pushing it back. The most ridiculously specific organization in the world. It was like the organization for the advancement of little people's athletics.
Starting point is 00:33:26 It was like, this is a shame. This is a disgrace to what we stand for. Even if we only stand at four feet? Did you see the clip of Rogan saying, oh, this has to happen, I'll do it. I'll pay the money, I'll set it up here. Will he commentate over it?
Starting point is 00:33:42 I don't know what he would be doing at that random event, but yeah. Dude, he hangs out with Khabib. Yeah, little Khabib, right? Yeah, he has the orphan. I thought he was just a little weird-looking kid. No, he's just a weird-looking adult. Yeah, he's a very weird-looking adult.
Starting point is 00:33:59 same thing with well not same thing but similar thing with andy milanakis that's the same thing that man is well yeah but but hasbulla is like this tall all right andy milanakis like is a tall it's like it's like a still a regular like a regular you know yeah generally typically sized person typically sized person in his show like this ice skating man that was very interesting it's time to get out of here JT, tell them where they can find you You can find me on Instagram JTHalden97
