Starting point is 00:00:01 Sorry, Morgan Freeman, I'm snatching those. I did ballroom dance for three years. I used to be the king of this place. Oh, man, why? We're getting a little obscure. No judgment, though. Oh, because she's an animal? Does that make me wrong? Hey, by the way, is this where Joe's at? Yes, Martin.
Starting point is 00:00:19 Oh, yeah? Thank you. Thank you for that. Jeez, Martin. Welcome back to the Picky Boys podcast. Hey, how you doing? Well, I mean, this comes out before that. It's a good preview. It was much more disturbing.
Starting point is 00:00:35 I absolutely had to. It's fine. You know, Danny, we caught Danny doing it before. It's fine. Oh, I collected samples. That's enough from all of you. All right. Well, welcome back.
Starting point is 00:00:48 What's going on? Welcome back to the Pick Your Voice podcast. Happy Easter. Happy Easter. Happy. It was April Fool's Day. Did anybody goof you? Anybody?
Starting point is 00:00:58 No, I've never been goofed. You've never been goofed? I've never been goofed. Anybody get you? I usually only get goofed by some Instagram post that says something was canceled or someone's upset. First of all, you can't trust anything that you see on the internet at any time. But on April Fool's, you might as well just not even go. Because every company is like, oh, we're changing our name from Google to Boogle.
Starting point is 00:01:20 This is not a joke. This is a very bad joke. Yeah, it's like, can you calm down? Because now I have my aunts questioning. Like, are you going to go to Dunkin' Donuts now? Was IHOP, the International House of Burgers, is that April Fool's thing? No, that was real.
Starting point is 00:01:34 That was just a marketing scheme. But yeah, I did see one TikTok that was a good April Fool's prank, and it was a teacher who gave her children a crossword that had none of the words inside. That is not fun. That is not fun. That is torture. They all just started crying.
Starting point is 00:01:51 That's not an April Fool's joke. That's just like... Torture. You know, if I was a teacher, that's how I would... take the day off be like i'm handing these make it little doofs i guess it is it is like how hard did she make it though was it like it was nothing the words didn't exist in the crossword yeah but like it didn't match up if as soon as one doesn't match up even if it's the right answer yeah but i'm saying like what's the whole word bank you mean no no no yeah like a word search word search
Starting point is 00:02:18 like a word search oh i was words i would i would murder that i would murder that i love words i would know that there's nothing there see if there was no word bank and she would just see how many words can you find you know and there was nothing there as a little kid it'd be harder no i believe it because one time uh one of our friends anthony was drunk and he was just being a menace to my family so we went in the pool and i said you know what anthony why don't we play a game of memory and you know like you have to flip over two cards and they have to be the same yeah not only did i not have a single matching card but it was also an odd number of cards so he would never match and for 45 minutes he was playing with himself in the pool in the corner left us alone
Starting point is 00:02:58 you have to get one one like match or one word so it looks believable yeah i put two in there i put two in there so like let's say there was 11 cards i put two matches and he just kept going back and forth his system was bad he didn't have any tact kids are funny on april fool's day i feel like they don't understand the ramifications like they don't know what is a joke and what is not a joke You're like, I pushed little Billy down the stairs. April Fool's? Mom, dad's dead in the kitchen. It's like, he's bleeding out of his eyes.
Starting point is 00:03:25 I stabbed him. And mouth. Oh. It's a concussion. Excuse me? He's been gone for years. Oh, well, now. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:34 You know, now that's a good joke. There's different levels to this kid's humor. You ever see an old man in a kid's body? Like, just like a very young kid. And they're just like, oh, I got to do the business. Where are you hanging out? I'm not hanging out anywhere. I can see Danny as one of these kids.
Starting point is 00:03:53 But kids that are very serious about business? I don't know. Like kids in a suit? No. I've heard of kids that will come in and be like, oh, did you hear about the S&P 500? I swear to God. Where are you hearing about this? I swear to God.
Starting point is 00:04:07 There are some people who are day trading. That's true. A little day trading for tax. Teenage entrepreneurs on TikTok? Fantastic. I love them. I made. there's this one kid dude i watch that's like this is i'm gonna tell you guys how i lost 50
Starting point is 00:04:22 dollars in the stock market this week and for you not to make the same mistake and everyone else is like dude we're losing thousands out here this guy's losing 50 that's his whole bank account it's adorable yeah i mean it's all it's all uh relative right i'm gonna show you my tips and tricks on how i turn my hundred dollar investment in cryptocurrency to 130 like i need his advice Do you think that's how rich people, like, do you think they laugh at us? Say like, oh, you only lost $10,000. You cry about it. No, $10,000.
Starting point is 00:04:53 I have to mortgage my home. They just pick up $10,000 and wipe their ass with it. I have to refinance my house. No, no, they're rich. Oh, no, you have to read their house. No, I'm assuming because they lost something. Wait, are you saying that they're laughing at us for losing money? Or did they also lose but a greater quantity?
Starting point is 00:05:08 No, I'm saying just the way that you're saying, like, oh these kids like they think $50 is a big problem haha like it's very funny I wonder if they think that about us
Starting point is 00:05:16 like look at these little kids playing in the sandbox I just lost you know I just lost $12 million right that's what
Starting point is 00:05:21 I'm saying it's like I only think but I also gained $12 I don't think they have to put their house
Starting point is 00:05:24 right right I'm saying like the kid losing the $50 is funny because I'm out here losing thousands you know but it's the same
Starting point is 00:05:31 to me and him so the millionaire also has to be losing millions to be the same to me that's true it's all the relative there's like
Starting point is 00:05:38 there's all that one fact about Bill Gates. It's like if Bill Gates drops a $100 bill on the floor, it's not worth his time to pick it up. Yeah, he makes more money just walking over. The amount of time it would take Bill Gates to bend down with his sweet, luscious capris
Starting point is 00:05:53 or khakis and pick up that $100 he's already made eight times the amount. He can jump over a chair from standing position. Dude, that man is a freaking G, dude. I can't do that. Can the man guess the price of Tostino's pizza rolls? No, but but he could bang any model he wants
Starting point is 00:06:09 probably with enough cash I've seen him speak before in life but you know they're like the weird billionaires like him and Warren Buffet you always see on those Instagram accounts that the goal is to
Starting point is 00:06:25 be rich not look rich and they're weird because they all act like they don't want the fancy things they live in modest homes and they drive their own cars and stuff. There's something off about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Buy a Lamborghini and shove it in our face like the rest of these people aren't making the same amount. You're one of the richest people in the entire world. And you're going to wear Levi's jeans? Skechers? You're putting money into something that we don't even know about. Something big.
Starting point is 00:06:58 He's putting money into something big that I think is ominous. Get one of those watches that has the whole galaxy in the frame and then shove it in my face. Watches are a good way to cross money across a border because you can wear them on a plane. And then just dump it somewhere? No, you just sell it.
Starting point is 00:07:19 So typically you wouldn't be able to get on a plane with $50,000, but if you have it on your wrist... I could do it. I could do it. I'd get on a plane with $50,000. No, you can't. I'd boof it. You can't do that.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Shove it in gold bars right up. Have you ever been in that machine where they're like, oh, put your – Yeah, JMK's next level now. Also, first of all, if it's my $50,000, why can't I bring it across on this plane? For a lot of good reasons. I'm not – you know. For a lot of very good reasons. I'll just say, donde estas, los tragas.
Starting point is 00:07:46 You know, that is where I get on my way. What on earth? What on earth are you doing with $50,000 in cash? I'm having a good time wherever I'm going. That's what I'm doing. That's not what they're thinking. There are good reasons for these rules. Dude, Morgan Freeman carries his, no, not carries, but his earrings are just enough
Starting point is 00:08:05 to pay for a coffin just in case he dies somewhere not here. Yeah, that's what I heard, too. It's a little strange to me. A coffin's not that expensive. Right, but I'm walking around with my coffin on my ears. This is my ice, dude. And what does he think? People are just going to find him and throw him in a ditch?
Starting point is 00:08:21 Yeah, and also, if he's dead, not steal your earrings. Sorry, Morgan Freeman. I'm snatching those. If you don't see Morgan Freeman, like, struggling or having a hard time, about to die, and you don't help him, who are you? Wait, what does that do to me? Oh, you're saying it's my job to save him? So he doesn't have to use the earrings? If you don't recognize him, you've got an even bigger problem, buddy.
Starting point is 00:08:46 I'm going to kill Morgan Freeman. He's literally God. He's literally good. He plays God all the time. like i said the thing i just don't get about that is that like when has anybody ever found a body and been like oh well i guess we gotta bury it now and then like buy a coffin and like that's not how these things work you give it to the police and then the police give it to the family first of all i'm not touching anybody that i'm not giving anything to anybody so if you just saw
Starting point is 00:09:12 a body on the street you would just walk away i'd call the police i'm not handing them nothing anonymous tip walk away hey anonymous tip yeah morgan freeman's in a ditch and his earrings are It looks like Morgan Freeman. You ever see someone who tries to save an animal way too hard? There was one time there was a... What does way too hard mean? Define way too hard. I will.
Starting point is 00:09:32 Hold on. There was one time where a pigeon got hit by a truck or something, and it was all fucked up in the middle of the crosswalk, and a woman came into the place I was working and had it scooped up, and she was like, oh, we need to help it. We need to help it. And she, like, came into my establishment with an inner hand. And I was like, are you crazy?
Starting point is 00:09:57 Get this fucking pigeon out of here. Get this fucking rat with birds. And then my boss, who, you know. Save the pigeons. Yeah, my boss, he goes and he, like, gets a cardboard box. Like, we have to bring it to a shelter. I was like, are you crazy? Well, it's because, you know, in New York, it's like, yeah, we step on these pigeons.
Starting point is 00:10:16 These are stepping stones to get to the building. Pigeons in New York are just rats with wings. Those are pigeons everywhere. I've said this many times. I love the pigeon. I respect the pigeon. Screw the pigeon. The pigeon is such a resilient animal, and it's in every single city.
Starting point is 00:10:34 All of them. It's the only animal I've ever seen that could take the subway, and rats. They got some good bones, those things. So, yeah, they may be rats with wings, but I respect their hustle. That's what I'm saying. They both take the subway. So if they're able to learn New York transportation, good on them. They deserve to be saved.
Starting point is 00:10:51 They deserve to be saved. But either way, he took it in the box and drove it to the animal shelter, and supposedly it was saved. Speaking of Easter, shit holiday, right? Don't use them. I mean, Jesus. I didn't even get to see a bunny. What on earth does eggs have to do with bunnies?
Starting point is 00:11:06 Bunnies do not lay eggs. I'm pretty sure they lay eggs. No, they don't. I'm pretty sure back in the day they used to lay eggs. Bunnies don't lay eggs. Jesus doesn't lay bunnies. what's happening? Maybe a bunch of bunnies carried
Starting point is 00:11:17 I don't know. Just another marketing scheme. Yeah, but it's not like I eat eggs on Easter. Does the Playboy Mansion do anything for you guys on Easter? I feel like that'd be a very on brand. They're already bunnies. They have a big egg or something. Hugh used to dress up in
Starting point is 00:11:33 the Easter bunny outfit and just whip it out. Oh, well I mean, that's really him. That's what I would have done. No one wants to see Hugh. Hugh is, there's, rest in peace. Dead, yeah, he's dead. But there's no way Hugh Hefner was not a total freak. There's no way.
Starting point is 00:11:52 No, I think he's a normal guy. There's no way that he was not a total freak and probably someone you wouldn't want to be around. That's what I think. That's my controversial opinion. Was a stepping stone to be a Playboy Bunny to at least slap it around? I think so.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Yeah, definitely, right? Well, I think obviously they can't say that. When did he start? Was he young when he started? Was it his heyday? I don't think it was his heyday. I think it was like, but he was certainly... He was already up in age?
Starting point is 00:12:18 Definitely like 40s, 50s. 40s, he might not be that wrinkly. True. But you have to start the brand. That takes a while. You have to start the brand somewhere, yeah. So he was probably really pumping in 60s. You're getting a little wrinkly there.
Starting point is 00:12:30 Again. Soft, soft, supple hands. Weird, weird man. And he got sold with his house. They sold the Playboy Mansion, and the one contingency was that he would have to live there until he died. They sold the Playboy Mansion in like 2010 or something
Starting point is 00:12:47 before he died. And the contingency when you bought it is that you could live in the other places, but Hugh would live there until he was dead. So if I bought the Playboy Mansion, I'd have this old wrinkly man walking around? You're contractually obligated to have him, the old wrinkly man, walking around.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Oh, man. First of all, kind of cool. It's not cool. I think that's kind of cool. It's not cool. It's weird. It's like a house with a little surprise. And now he's slipping into dementia,
Starting point is 00:13:16 and he thinks you're one of the Playboy bunnies, and he's like, come on, let me get a finger. Yeah, he's like, oh, God, please. Yeah, you have friends over. They're staying the night. Remember to lock your doors, because Hugh gets a little weird at night. He'll come in and look. He'll shuffle around in his flippies.
Starting point is 00:13:31 I wonder if there was specifications on where he had to live in the house. and then put him in a cage somewhere. You could stay in the attic in this one room. I used to be the king of this place. Oh, man, why? I knew it was going to get sad. I knew it was going to get sad. Well, he's dead, so.
Starting point is 00:13:49 The point is, if I could get the Playboy Mansion at a discount by saying this old, wrinkly, weird guy has to live in my house for a while, oh, God, hands down, I'm taking it. If I get a milli or two off, or does he add value? Do I need a milli two more? I think he adds value.
Starting point is 00:14:07 No, I don't like that. You see that new Space Jam trailer? I did. It looks pretty cool. I think it looks really cool. Did you see the controversy? What's going on right now? The controversy?
Starting point is 00:14:16 Why? So they took out Pepe Le Pew, right? Because of the R word undertones. But then they added the people from the Clockwork Orange. Oh, yeah. They literally R word. They gang R. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:29 They GR a whole woman. They GR a whole lot. So it was like, what are you guys doing? doing you know i guess you know it was kind of background thing you could miss it and everyone's so butthurt looking for a reason to hate people that they were like really scouring the background and i guess pepe lepew would have been a main character but yeah there was there was some fumble there pepe was a big one in in the first space jam right and i guess in the first space jam he was on the court like all stinking it up and shit yeah i remember that i guess there's
Starting point is 00:14:55 some argument to be made about i don't know he's like a child's character right but also you know They're like an R-rated Stanley Kubrick movie. Kids movie, though. I remember as a kid, every time you would kiss the girls, she would just be like, hmm. I think it was like a Ready Player One thing or a Wreck-It Ralph thing
Starting point is 00:15:11 where they just combined every movie from the studio with an Easter egg. Yeah, yeah. One of them just happened to be something they were trying not to be cool about. That's interesting. I think it looks good, though. Also didn't watch the intro.
Starting point is 00:15:23 I'm cautious. I'm cautious about it because things like that can go bad real quick. Yes. But what I saw, I think it looks pretty good. I can already tell LeBron James is a very bad actor from the get go
Starting point is 00:15:35 my brother who's 29 so he knows the OG Space Jam loves that shit we were talking about it I know the OG Space Jam but he's older than me so I'm saying that an old head's opinion agrees with an older head compared to us
Starting point is 00:15:51 agrees with the same view I said the same thing I can already tell off the bat you gotta watch out for the bubble as natural as an actor as MJ did because you know MJ did a good job
Starting point is 00:16:04 I'm sure he'll be fine I also like the references they make mid like if you're a big like sports guy I like they make they make a lot of references towards real games
Starting point is 00:16:12 the game they play over like in the end the whole like Space Jam game they make a lot of references to real NBA and WNBA games that happen like
Starting point is 00:16:21 I also did the whole picture that's going viral right now is Lola Bunny throwing an alley-oop to LeBron and that's like recreating Dwayne Wade
Starting point is 00:16:28 Didn't they take away Lola Bunny's cheeks? No, her chest. No, they made it better. No, wait, what? No, I think they took away her chest and added cheeks. No, I heard that they didn't make it better. I heard that a lot of people thought they made it worse. Yeah, no, no.
Starting point is 00:16:42 They took away her chest. That's part of childhood, you know? You sexualize a cartoon character. You explore, you know, the blood flow of the body. And you just forget about it. And then you talk about it with your friends when you're reminiscing on which characters got you off while you're on a podcast.
Starting point is 00:16:57 So what was that character for you? Besides Danny Phantom, of course. Oh, right, right, right. Danny Phantom was a nice twink for me. Honestly, probably Kim Possible, man. Kim Possible. Oh, yes. Kim Possible was pretty good.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Shego. Shego got that kind of like dominating kink there. You know, weird answer. Left field. My life as a teenage robot, Jenny. The robot? The robot. No, there's no judgment here.
Starting point is 00:17:23 No judgment shown. She was hot. Also, there was a lot of weird points. And then the mom comes on the TV. Oh, Dexter's mom, I think. Dexter's mom had the dump truck, dude. Martin, come on. Shoot it.
Starting point is 00:17:38 I'm trying to think. Oh, God. I have lists. Jimmy Neutron's mom. Something different than Anna. Yeah, you're like Carl. You're like Carl. Oh, I thought that.
Starting point is 00:17:49 And Carl. Sometimes, bud, you remind me of Carl. I do. I get a lot of people, a lot of people tell that to me because I don't know. I don't like llamas particularly. Jimmy Nooch, Timmy Turner's mom, Wanda. Wanda. Cosmo.
Starting point is 00:18:07 All of them. Both of them. The baby. All three of them. Wasn't Cosmo in their species, the male was the one who gave birth? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like seahorse. Like a seahorse.
Starting point is 00:18:22 After that baby popped out, I stopped watching the show. That's fine. What about Sandy Cheeks? Okay, we're getting a little obscure. No judgment, though. Oh, because she's an animal? Does that make me wrong? Does that make me wrong?
Starting point is 00:18:38 No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. Pearl? What about Pearl? Oh, you're very weird. Very weird. No judgment. Very weird of you.
Starting point is 00:18:48 No judgment, though. Very weird of you. Characters of SpongeBob are smoking, dude. You guys ever watch Teen Titans? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, you're a Raven kind of person? Raven or Starfire? You like the...
Starting point is 00:18:59 Robin. Oh. Oh, yeah, Robin. I was like, I don't know. Cyborg. Robin, Cyborg. And Beast. If you liked Raven,
Starting point is 00:19:09 I feel like I can pick who you like in the real world out of the lineup. Or I can pick what's in, like, your underwear drawer. You know, I see what's going on. I get what's in there. What's in mine? You liked Raven? A little bit, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Yo, that one Spongebob. Do you remember that one Spongebob episode where they had a panty raid? Yeah. So that one's canceled. Oh, dude, Mrs. Puff, bro. I heard they canceled that episode. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:19:39 That makes sense. Honestly, good. They were getting a little. It makes no sense. Also, wasn't it like one of their moms? Mr. Crab's mom. It was Mr. Crab's mom. Yeah, it was.
Starting point is 00:19:49 But wasn't he the one? He was the one. The whole episode. No, no, no. He was trying to feel young again. It was Patrick and SpongeBob. Are you feeling it now, Mr. Krabs? And then he finally started feeling it.
Starting point is 00:20:00 He's like, yeah! What's weirder is the fact that, I don't know if anybody can actually recollect this episode, but that means SpongeBob and Patrick continuously panty-rated Mr. Krabs' mom's house for reasons unknown. You ever fall victim to that? Where you're going to go watch something
Starting point is 00:20:19 that you thought was really good, and then you're like, I don't want to ruin it. What if it's bad? No, it's even bad. And have you ever watched something and it was bad that you thought was great as a kid? And then you watch it and you go, oh, actually? Yeah, yeah. What is this?
Starting point is 00:20:37 Dude, I loved Hocus Pocus. Oh, yeah. Hocus Pocus. I love Hocus Pocus. No, the game board. The game board. The board game. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Yes, the movie, Martin. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for confusing you. All right. you don't gotta be I'm sorry but uh I was sitting here like
Starting point is 00:20:56 I don't know board game and uh I it's there's the one scene you know I put a spell on you fantastic
Starting point is 00:21:02 you know of course but it's just pretty much anything from before from before 2000 or before 2010
Starting point is 00:21:10 where I wasn't really getting it it's just it's tough so what do you do you just say I'm not watching them or do you take a chance no I'll just
Starting point is 00:21:19 roll the dice I'll do it See if you get it ruined for you. Let's see how my tastes have changed, you know? It's like, what wine do I enjoy now in the visual form? True, true. That's a good, drop a comment below. What have you watched that when you re-watched as an adult,
Starting point is 00:21:35 absolutely ruined for you? Ruined, absolutely ruined. I'm sure there was some like Spy Kids. I'm probably not going to watch that. I'm probably not going to watch that. That was mine, Sharkboy and Lavagirl. to shark boy lava girl is so weird and bad not good dude the the girl in spy kids that's just an npc that you find out just an npc i think she was like my first like i don't know why i don't
Starting point is 00:22:01 know which character i don't spy kids the one where they're in the game i think it's spy kids three the most egregiously spy kids 3d yeah yeah the one with the black i know which one you're talking about the one with the black hair purple suit yes yes yeah that's exactly it she did it for me another one yeah she did it for me oh steve shimmy dropped some heat in those movies dude there's this one there's i forget the line but he dropped some one one line shimmy yeah he drops one line that's really deep he said oh uh huh oh you think this is what god feels like no he's away from his own creations yeah he's scared of what he's made yeah yeah something like that in a kids movie like you think you think god hides away because he's scared of
Starting point is 00:22:42 he's too he too is scared of what he's created it's like i'm a child should i be afraid of my legos now that's the same thing like when you're a kid you think things are like super deep and then when you look back you're like oh they weren't deep at all like it was like you know like all the girls on my instagram timeline would post like real eyes realize realize Dude, my uncle got that on, like, a hanging on his wall. That's like the live, laugh, love for men. Realize, realize, realize. It's like, okay, relax, man.
Starting point is 00:23:20 How many of the same word could I fit in a sentence? First time I heard that, I was like, yo, that's true, dude. No, I was like, did you just say the same word to me three times? There's so many people who would be like, that's so powerful. Oh, my God. And there's me like, what the hell? Did you just say that? I would love to go to a slam poetry thing.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Yeah. Not only, I feel like I'm not going to prepare anything. I'd perform on the slam poetry thing. First of all, if they judge me, screw you guys. That's number one. And two, I want to see what people say. I always wanted to do a stand-up comedy night, open mic night. We should so do that.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Yeah, man, you know. I'm so down. In the works for some of us, I think. Yeah, we're trying. We're just too big. I would so do that. We're too big of a pussies. Too big pussies.
Starting point is 00:24:07 I've done my acting classes and stuff. You took acting classes? All the way from middle school to college, baby. Wow. Really? I've never. This has never been said. Not one time did you say that.
Starting point is 00:24:19 I don't think you've ever said that. What'd you act in? Everything. Little Teacup? Like musicals, plays, monologues. What? Wow. Any good?
Starting point is 00:24:29 My Russian profession. I don't know. My professor liked me a lot in college. Oh, that's for a different reason. Oh, here we go. No, she was old as fuck. That was a shame. And she barely spoke English.
Starting point is 00:24:40 But, like, because, you know, I sort of understand Russian. Like, I wouldn't speak back to her because I don't know how to speak back Russian. She'd be like, oh, yeah. Say her Russian stuff. I was like, okay. She's just like, maybe you come after class. We do a tutor. We do one-on-one session.
Starting point is 00:24:55 One-on-one drama, make-out scene performance. When I was in high school, I would always get a lot of compliments from people, too. Martin, you never invited us to a play. Yeah. Because why would I? We went to all our friends' plays. We had half of our friend group was theater. We were such a good supportive group.
Starting point is 00:25:12 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I would expect, like, coming out, and then you guys would be like, yeah, you f***ers. No, no. Dude, half of our friends were in theater. We paid for more shows than the f***ing staff. That's why I kept it a secret for so long. That's all I got was bullshit.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Nah, be confident. Be confident. Be positive. I did ballroom dance three years. What's happening? There are so many layers to Martin. You did ballroom dance. First of all, so you're saying you weren't going to tell us that you acted,
Starting point is 00:25:43 but you were going to tell us you ballroom danced? Of course we don't know about that if we didn't know about the acting. Well, I did ballroom dancing for like two, three years, up until like middle school, and then stop. Like what? Like a salsa? Or like tap. A caramba?
Starting point is 00:25:58 Or ballet. Waltz? tango quickstep whoa whoa waltz waltz tango quickstep you could be a dancing with the sauce yeah dancing with the with the yeah i did all that shit man i won a few of my golds golds yeah my first year i won a gold same thing we had one friend that was in dance yeah i stopped after like the third made fun of him though we made i was about to get into like The whole like thing For the third year
Starting point is 00:26:26 Like the championships They have a Children's ballroom dance Championships No it's like group It's group It's group right Well obviously it has to be two
Starting point is 00:26:38 Huh Was it a I'm not by myself Dancing in a tango Like did you have to Pick a partner Was it just two of you Or was it like a group
Starting point is 00:26:45 Like a dance group No I had a partner It's ballroom dance I had a partner It's ballroom I don't know what's going on here Ballroom is like You and a girl
Starting point is 00:26:52 got a lead you know i had to wear a stupid little bedazzled shirt and all that shit you got pictures of that i'm not showing you you definitely have you know why because when i quit like i didn't know why i quit at the time now i know why you saw the future yeah martin's the tiny dancer nah man we're a supportive group i wore not with the stuff i was wearing buddy i would have heard shit for it for the rest of my goddamn life yeah we're a sport i mean here and there you would have You know, hey, bedazzles, man. Yeah, you might have got some jams. We all get shit here and there.
Starting point is 00:27:27 What was the worst, too, was, like, I was doing all this shit, but at the same time, like, my main thing was playing soccer and basketball. So imagine, like, me, like, yeah, you see these pictures of me in my soccer jersey holding the trophy, yeah, smiling, and then you swipe the next picture, and then you see me in a bedazzled shirt, like, wow, what the fuck? But if you killed it in soccer and you're in a little twinkle toes on the field and no one could catch you.
Starting point is 00:27:49 I am a fucking twinkle toes. Yes, if no one could catch you, then you were like, dude, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Ballroom dance. Tap dance. Ballet. Big influence on me quitting.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Normalize people making fun of the sports, too. Makes fun of it. Because, you know, if you do ballroom dancing, you think you're going to get made fun of. We'll make fun of you if you do soccer. Your personalities being on the football team. We'll make fun of you just as much as the guy that does ballet, buddy. No one's safe. No one's safe.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Yeah. It was fun. You threw a football 50 yards. and I am a good dancer now. Put on some top dancing shoes. Be a real man. Be a man. Don't play football.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Just do ballet. Be a man. Be a man. That is pretty manly, honestly, I think. Doing ballet. Doing ballet. Dude, if you're, you know, if you're... Yes.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Yes. If I was a... It's like, you know, it's just funny. It's like, it's the classic, you know, I feel like this is like the dad way of rationalizing it. If you're trying to be manly, it's like, oh, yeah, I'm the only guy in ballet. So I see a lot of a lot of cheeks. The thing is, a lot of times confidence is manly, you know, Danny's going in.
Starting point is 00:28:59 We did have I did have this one buddy in the ballot in the ballroom dancing biz. He used to always complain. My partner's too heavy. My partner's too heavy. Here we go. I was having he's like, there's certain moves we have to do. Like, oh, yeah, I remember we would have like certain dances, mainly the Spanish ones, too. and we'd have to pick them and spin them around,
Starting point is 00:29:20 pick them up and spin them, or pick them up and toss them. I never had that problem. Right, so you're strong. That, and also, thank God, I didn't have to deal with the same-sized partner he did. Right. I'm strong, and I had normal-sized partners.
Starting point is 00:29:39 Right, right, right. We did square dancing in high school, and for some ungodly reason, when they were matching up with our partners, they made us line up in height order, and I thought they were just going to align them, but they flipped it. So the tallest girl went with the shortest guy
Starting point is 00:29:54 and the tallest guy went with the shortest girl. Oh, my God. And I happened to be the shortest, no. Girl. I happened to be the tallest guy and the shortest girl was our friend and we were do-si-do-ing and I threw her against the wall.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Just the wall of the gym. Like, I just took her by the arm and she went. yeah probably probably an oversight on their part oh but dude i would love if i was like super a super small like man and the girl was a little stronger than me to reverse and like her pick me up and shit and like ballet oh good that'd be i would love that always challenge about gender gender role swapped bitch always average height though inside martin's average i can't i can never finish this boot man i tried i tried in this episode how many how many times you've tried come on you're trying to get steve will do its attention you're not gonna finish the
