Starting point is 00:00:00 Ah! A different person. Darkness. Beautiful one again. It's a weekday. Like, that's good. She'd walk in and everybody would be like, oh my god! It's the same thing. It's not the same thing. It's exactly the same thing. It's not the same thing. Alright, you ready to cry?
Starting point is 00:00:15 Should we start with a prayer? Everybody start with a prayer. Ready? Heavenly Father. Oh, out loud. Okay, okay. Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father, let us put your praise upon us as we voice our opinions. Yep, about topics that people truly care about. Yes, and forgive us for all our sins.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Do you have any sins you'd like to confess this week? I'll go first. I told my beautiful wife, Nancy, that OnlyFans was a sports newsletter that you have to subscribe monthly to. And I used the church donations to bet on the Lakers game. But we are not all perfect, and we are made in your image, so please look over us. Look over us, amen.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Amen. Amen. Throw one of those up. Peace signs, baby. How's it going? Also, welcome back to the Picky Boys podcast and Reverend Danny. Also, we're on different sides of the screen today. We are.
Starting point is 00:01:14 We flipped an Uno reverse card. Uno reverse card. Flipped it around. Game sucks. What do you mean the game sucks? It's a fantastic game. It's an okay game. It's the same as like, it's a card game.
Starting point is 00:01:25 It's an okay game. Antonio's been like incredibly anti-card game recently. no that's not true card games you can't they have to be it's a very delicate line they have to be simple
Starting point is 00:01:34 and easy to learn or else because if it's too complicated everybody's going to say this is fucking too hard and it also has to be original
Starting point is 00:01:43 there's only so much you can do in those ramifications when someone introduces everyone's drunk and like oh my god
Starting point is 00:01:50 I want to play a card game you have the one person that says it every time they're like oh I got a card game let's play and we haven't started yet and it's been 30 minutes
Starting point is 00:01:57 get the fuck out of here you know it's like well what are you doing i understand we got to learn you got you got fucking passed out sally over there you got drunk doof over here like you can't do anything so i mean it's it's hard to it's hard to thing to do you gotta do it i understand straddle the line i was having a rough day today i was in a i'm not i'm not in a great mood today why is that i don't know some i'm just uh it's one of those days you know i know you don't see it but i'm happy you had a three-day weekend i'm happy i'm happy i saw you today though you know that's making a little better oh that's nice you had a three-day weekend well that's fine it's
Starting point is 00:02:26 It's nothing about three-day weekend. It's just about this. It's President's Day. It's just about today. Which is a better... President's Day of all the national holidays is very bad. Yesterday was President's Day. Well, two days ago was President's Day.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Yeah. President's Day of all the national holidays is bad. And it should absolutely be after Super Bowl Sunday. Like, there's no reason for it to be today. Yeah. It should be... They should switch some around. Certain holidays should be better.
Starting point is 00:02:47 I mean, like, St. Patrick's Day should certainly be a certain national holiday. And I know it's a religious connection, so you're not really supposed to do that. But Christmas is a national holiday. What's religious? St. Patrick's Day, technically. But America, I feel like, except for Christmas, every national holiday is non-religious. Okay. Because it's supposed to be a separation church and state situation.
Starting point is 00:03:13 So change the name. Make it Patrick's Day. Yeah, make it Irish Heritage Day. And everybody knows it's St. Patrick's Day. but the reason you have off is Irish Heritage Day. But it's under the table. And you could also put President's Day. You know what day we should be off?
Starting point is 00:03:26 Election Day. Okay. That makes sense. I mean, just from a utility standpoint, it's like, yeah, people should have off so they can go vote. And also, first of all, holidays shouldn't – I don't like how holidays fluctuate with the days of the week. They should be set days, like how Thanksgiving's a set day.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Five? Well, no, it's not. It's like a set Thursday. Well, it's a set Thursday. So that's a weekday. That's good. So there's 10 national holidays. Five of them are on number dates, December 25th, blah, blah, blah, 14th, you know, whatever.
Starting point is 00:03:58 And then the other five are on the last Thursday of the week or the first Monday after this. That's better. Why? Because I know Thanksgiving's going to be on Thursday. Off for a weekday. You know you're off. True. If you say St. Patrick's Day is always on a Saturday, like the third Saturday of March,
Starting point is 00:04:17 boom always a good saint patrick's day but that's on a date it's like saint patrick's day on a tuesday yeah we're getting fucked up anyway but god damn i don't want to do anything the next day that's true that's what i'm saying that's true but then no date is whole as like held any standard keep the 25th christmas boom nailed it yeah that's all you need uh new year first boom nailed it you know it's like okay those are the dates we need i guess so that's all i'm saying yeah i i do like the the fact that it's always the thursday and thanksgiving makes it very great for the Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:49 A four-day weekend. It's a classic holiday. You know, Halloween. Like, who wants to do a Halloween on a Wednesday? It's like, come on. Yeah, it would be better if they were. That's what I'm saying. You know, like, help us out a little bit.
Starting point is 00:04:59 True, true. That's all I'm saying. I can agree with that. We have to change the days. Change the holidays. Change the holidays. We're going to rework the whole system. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Tear it all down. Makes sense, you know? I had, you know, the doorbell doesn't work. So everyone is either, like, doesn't get in my house, doesn't realize. Or they just knock. Or they knock, or they don't, and then they just leave. That's how it goes. Sure.
Starting point is 00:05:19 So I had, like, just, like, spectrum people or internet people come, you know? Like, the door-to-door people. To try to sell you something? Try to just, like, do you have spectrum? How many boxes? Do you want to upgrade? So try to sell you something. Yeah, yeah, whatever.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Or just, like, you know, blow me, whatever it was. It was bad porn. And I do the same thing. I'm like, because I don't look like the homeowner. So I just go, oh, homeowner's not here. Can't say a single thing about a fact about this house. Yeah. And they usually leave.
Starting point is 00:05:45 but is there someone that has the balls to like open the door they go hey sir can you and just slam it yeah oh totally i i i i i saw and you know once you open the door like you could you know what's happening it's like they have a clipboard it's like shit i'm now i'm trapped in this fucking thing that's what you need a peephole yeah but what's the point out here of a people that's point of a people no i did like i like did the or a window yeah i did a quick like like window thing but it was just like this woman in sitting sitting on like my porch with a hood so that could be like someone i know you know what's the camera yeah there's many many solutions to this problem right one of those ring cameras okay you can just say oh i'm not home
Starting point is 00:06:29 even though you're just on the toilet yeah even though they like they just they peek through the window they saw you yeah i thought you meant like like a home security camera it's like no one keeps their home security camera footage by the door it's like in the basement oh a lot of i'm telling A lot of people keep their home footage camera everywhere. Everywhere. I know people who have a monitor with their four cameras, five cameras, in every room of the house so that they can always, always be vigilant. So what?
Starting point is 00:06:55 They always have, like, a shotgun underneath their bed too then? I don't know. People who have that kind of, like, camera everywhere also have. They have to have something. And obviously they don't have, like, the bathroom, but they have it on their phone. Boom. Always ready.
Starting point is 00:07:06 They are always looking and ready. So I was going to say, I would have to, like, you know, now I'm just giving up the whole security system of this house. but you know i would have to like go go somewhere else and like yeah i mean people already gone by my old job i used to like have access through my phone to the camera system and it feels like you're feels like you're hacking into something because like somebody would text me and be like oh there's a fucking homeless person and the first and the second floor and i and i'd like open my computer and go and all of a sudden i get all the views of the of the the building and i'm
Starting point is 00:07:38 like oh he's in the lobby he's moving he's two clicks two clicks zoom analyze it's like around his face can you make this better it's like that's not how cameras work sir yeah that's not a i it would be so funny if that's how the fbi worked you just like submitted a picture and then it went through the whole entire database and went to match found i mean it's not how it works at all i mean at all it's definitely not at all it is not at all how it works if i send a picture of you to an fbi guy and i said find him it kind of works like that it really truly doesn't first face recognition it'll go like your facebook files your location where you could possibly be boom yeah but it's not but it but it's not like this like intuitive system where it's like whoop
Starting point is 00:08:18 and then like 100 pictures go by and it's like correct match it's not like that our phones do that like it's not like our phones i'm pretty sure like they they recognize faces and like i could click your face and go all pictures of danny and it's like our phone could do that the fbi is definitely sniffing yes but i'm just saying the way on the tv it works it's not how it's not how it looks that's probably true were you in charge of kicking out the homeless guy like did they say find them and go get them well i live next door to the i was the uh so i lived literally the building next door to my job so i was basically the on-call guy for everything right because like i mean other people were could have come in but like why would you make somebody drive
Starting point is 00:09:00 if somebody lives next door yeah give you extra you know um so so yeah so i would go in and be like hey guy hey well you know you don't you start you always start from a point of not altercation excuse me just be like everybody has to get out we're closing down you know and then so so he'll think uh oh everybody's starting to leave and so now i'll be really suspicious from here and usually just go and usually yeah has there been a has there been a like uh-oh um it's been an oopsie not i mean yeah there's been a you know there was a few times where you had to get the police involved yeah like i know you know i mean some there's there's there's you know some people are like you know if you ever deal with somebody who's like unstable
Starting point is 00:09:44 right then like at the at the other location we had somebody like lock themselves in the bathroom once and whenever that happens uh who knows what's going on there could be like drugs it could be like they're just like jerking off but with those it's usually better just like knock a few times say hey come on out and if they don't call the police right or the non-emergency police what at the the first place i worked at the the the crime in the area was so bad that if it wasn't like an active like someone was being hurt crime they had a specific non-emergency police they like weeding hood junior police yeah essentially and they were trained like specifically trained social workers to deal with what was the most common call which is like homeless people could
Starting point is 00:10:32 be on drugs that kind of stuff and are they like volunteers or is that like an official like these are the ones that didn't do too good on the no no they're just they're just they're just better equipped for non-hocyle interaction right so the sharpshooters are the other team and these are these people who talk people down from you know the ledge or wherever they are yeah you know and but but yeah i mean it was a very uh it was you had to be on the lookout because it was in like it was on the corner of a rough neighborhood yeah and so everyone's every day some one person would come in and you just have to be very vigilant the way to the way to pick out a homeless person is always by their shoes boom i think we've talked about this i was gonna say i don't know i just
Starting point is 00:11:13 feel like that it's always by the shoes and also the higher the number of plastic bags they have the higher it goes up the chance that they're homeless right so but but because you know some people they go to get a goodwill get a fantastic deal on a suit they look totally normal but the shoes it's hard to get your pair on a nice pair of shoes yeah yeah shoes are shoes and if you wear them all the time because they're homeless they're gonna they're gonna wear and tear so you always look for the shoes i mean it was but yeah it was intense we have like a like a like a taser and pepper spray like velcroed under the desk i never had to use it but well you wished though no no oh my god no use a pepper spray no i don't want to use pepper spray i've always wanted to use that
Starting point is 00:11:53 that only again it only makes the assailant makes the makes the interaction more hostile because then they're like yeah exactly and then we i mean it's i could do a whole podcast about this we the the different types of homeless people we would get was like a video game it was like some people some people would just come in and you just say hey get out of here and that's the cartoon one and and they'd leave then you have the second person who tries to like kind of interact in the front and tries to make it seem like they're supposed to be here they're a little bit harder to get rid of then you start really escalating like people who are like refuse to leave people who like uh get past the system and then like work their way in and then like try to
Starting point is 00:12:39 hide and then and then there was there was this one lady i forgot her name but there was one lady and she was she was like the the the the boss battle and what she would do is she would she would wait because we had these clear windows in the front and she would wait until one of us wasn't looking open the door and just run make a run for it into the building to go where just to get as far as she could just to get as far as she could like you get her it's like new record made it to the stairs yeah it's like to get as far as she could and so and so she'd walk in and everybody would like oh my god she's a little tiny homeless woman it was a little tiny woman it's like the mr crabs like yeah yeah and you know we didn't want to like again at all costs
Starting point is 00:13:26 you want to avoid having to tase somebody or pepper spray somebody because it's just, first of all, not great for business, you know, when a bunch of your customers just see you like, That's true. Like a homeless person. Yeah, I'm glad you're beating them. So we had this. So there was a guy there who was one of our customers,
Starting point is 00:13:46 and he made these really high-powered flashlights, like super-duper high-powered flashlights. Like in his basement he made them? yeah well he he was on like this passion project this was this was what he did for work basically his whole thing was he wanted to stop school shooters without without deadly force right and so he so he made this camera this like thing that the the the full model would actually be like implanted on a ceiling okay and um but the the the base model that he gave us was just like an incredibly high powered flashlight and if you saw them come in you just like and it like strobes
Starting point is 00:14:27 just like like blinding light at you and you're like i mean yeah i understand how that could stop someone from like running because this little sprinter woman will hit because you can't you can't you can't see anything but the only thing that that'll do for the school shooters instead of him aiming for the bullies he's aiming for everybody now like you're shooting with your eyes closed true i mean it's supposed to it's supposed to just like totally incapacitate you again if he sprays he sprays but at least he's not making his way through the building right and and he was using i don't know if it ever worked out but he was trying to do like really cool technology where it would actually it would actually identify the person with the weapon
Starting point is 00:15:06 and stay on them wherever they tried to move like like a sentry turn but with flashing but with like blindingly flashing light like blindingly like it'll do permanent damage or it's just like You're not going to be able to look. If you looked at it, it would do permanent damage. Damn. That's actually pretty crazy. That's pretty cool. Yeah, it is pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:15:23 I don't know if it ever went anywhere. Because it was, I mean, obviously, it's really hard to make. And also, like, whenever you're doing the, we couldn't do the official model. Like, we couldn't do the trials because we couldn't just risk blinding, like, strobe lights every, you know, whatever it messed up. And I understand, like, the, because you can't just focus that on one person. you know like if there's someone like even around they must get them too unless it's like i don't think it's just you just close your eyes right the point is is it's trying to follow you so that you can't get out of its way you're basically incapacitated and hopefully before
Starting point is 00:15:57 you can shoot up the school the cops can arrive thank you but also also it's like it's the thing where i feel like it falls into like this paradox of you know how like we we had school shooter drills yeah and you know how like i forgot what comedian made the joke but like you're teaching you're telling the school shooter like the plan and like the security and the measures it's like telling the fire where to go yeah where to go to not be put out but like now you like it's not like these people aren't going to see this huge sentry turret camera there's probably gonna be like you put on fucking goggles or some shit i don't know i don't know i mean you know you can't the point is to try point is there's there's there's a million there's a million flaws in every in every
Starting point is 00:16:38 you know protection measure but if you don't it's better than not doing anything and just saying I hope it doesn't happen again. That's also true. That's fair. That's fair. So, yeah. I hope he made it. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:50 I want to see it. I want to see someone get hit by it or something, get flashed by it. Yeah, yeah. Also, strobe lights in general, you ever just like be at a club or a bar and out of nowhere this section has strobe lights? It literally does feel like, oh, I'm on immediate drugs now. yeah it can be a little especially especially the rate at which it goes like have you had a strobe light that goes almost a little too slow and it's like extreme light darkness extreme light
Starting point is 00:17:20 darkness yeah and then like you know someone's coming towards you and it's like it's like beautiful woman darkness a different person darkness beautiful woman again it's like these faces are coming out of the light it's very strange It's three steps per strobe. Like, I'm going too fast. I need to be able to see. Because also, if anybody's ever, even if their face isn't changing, if they're walking towards you.
Starting point is 00:17:45 And you're walking towards them. It's just like, you can see them, and then they're close. And now we're close. And you can't see them again, and then they're right here. I'm trying to go to the bathroom, man. Yeah, they're cool. I like strobe lights. You have a full drink.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Strobe light goes out. I like lasers, too. My dad. I love lasers. It's about, like, lasers with smoke. You ever see, like, if you pump smoke into a room and then put lasers, you can see them much better because they just, like, cut through them,
Starting point is 00:18:14 and it's so cool. Honestly, Maroon 5 just has to go. Oh, no. Adam Levine? Adam, yeah. He's the only one left, by the way. The four quit. I thought he was Maroon 5 always anyway.
Starting point is 00:18:28 No, no, no, no, no. They quit? What, they go back to, like, sales jobs? I don't know, but they said, They said, Adam Levine, you have too many tattoos. You have to get out. Adam Levine, if you keep taking your shirt off, we're quitting this band. He's like, I can't do it.
Starting point is 00:18:39 I can't stop. He just has to just move on. Why? He has the voice. Right. And just do that. No more music. Oh, the voice.
Starting point is 00:18:52 I thought you meant like his voice. No, no, no. The voice, the TV show. Yeah, yeah. There's nothing wrong with Adam Levine. Well, I just think, and I think a lot of people agree with me, that his time in the limelight is spent. It's gone?
Starting point is 00:19:04 And I will no longer endorse him. What does a band... I should have known it, that one song. They had one song a year or two ago. I was like, this is... Like, what's going on? This is, like... If this wasn't Maroon 5,
Starting point is 00:19:17 radio executives would laugh in their face. It's, yeah. Maroon 5, you're not around for a year, and then you come out with one song during the next year, and it's this? Don't get me wrong. I mean, Class is Maroon 5. Like, She Will Be Loved, all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:31 I mean, fantastic. They're really good. But sometimes things, that's how celebrity works. Like the idea of celebrity is like you get into the limelight, you hold on to it for as long as you can, and then you just trickle off. And there's nothing worse than when people try to hang on to it and it doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:19:50 You just let it go, and if it's really meant for you, it'll come back. Yeah, and he had a long time in the spotlight. So he has to get out so someone can come back in, so someone can cut rise to the top of the ranks. Isn't that a bullshit? Like, you know the people that try to console people who've gotten into breakups or something like that? The phrase, if you really love something, let it go,
Starting point is 00:20:13 and if it really loves you or what's meant to me, it'll come back. I think that's a load of crap. If you really love something, let it go. And then that's usually where it stops. And then people, I guess, when the person they're trying to console kept crying, they're like, no, no, no, and if they really love you, they'll come back. If they really love you, they'll come back. That's a lot of crap.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Just say, hey, man, she's blowing a bunch of other people. Just get over it. Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I mean, I think it's generally advice that is like... Love-related? No, advice that is just like one statement that has a blanket over everything. Obviously, it's all contextual. Okay, fortune teller.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Get away from me. Yeah, it's like this is just... This just can't be... Because advice is too vague. They don't know the situation, you know? And nothing's worse than trying to console someone who, like, really likes someone and it's not working out and you can tell, like, it's not going to work out. That's the hardest scenario for anybody, no matter how good the advice, to console somebody. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:12 It just, yeah, advice, it's just too vague. You got to, advice like that is, you use advice when you are, have been told the situation and then you pick something that's relevant to apply. Yeah, do it. You can't just say, oh, this is what the rule always is. It's like, oh, if you love something, let it go, and it'll come back. It's like, well, now my child's stuck at daycare, and I can't. He'll come back if he loves me. If not, fuck him.
Starting point is 00:21:39 He's gone. We were going to buy him a phone next year. He doesn't even have Google Maps. How's he getting back? Well, if he doesn't come back, he obviously didn't love us. That's what, you know. And so it's like, you know, that's not good advice. It's like, thanks, Grandma.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Not good advice. and that's how I learned how to traverse my neighborhood yeah it's weird too my parents were afraid for my younger brother to go hang out with his friends and stuff but they have phones you know worst comes worst
Starting point is 00:22:06 like do you know the address do you know our address if you know our address and you have a phone and you can't make it home you don't deserve to be outside stay in here and we'll set up like a like a mat rat maze until you figure that out or just get like a A long string?
Starting point is 00:22:22 Just get Life 360, you know? It's like the app you can put on your child's phone. Right. And they just know, so you can see their location. That's fine, but I don't want to have to go and pick them up or pick them up. Yeah, true. Make it home. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:22:35 I know you don't, I don't know if you have younger cousins or not, but I can't even imagine the difference going to be from when we're parents to our kids, but the difference just from when we were young to my brothers, we were walking home fourth grade, sixth grade? I wasn't. Sixth grade, I think. Maybe. Seventh, probably. I think I was walking home fifth, sixth grade because I had Nick.
Starting point is 00:22:56 You guys know Nick. I had Nick to walk with me, so it wasn't that bad. But I don't think my brothers ever walked home once, you know? It's like the same distance when they were in middle school. Yeah. It's a crazy difference. I always stayed in after school. And there's absolutely no way my brothers have taken the bus by themselves.
Starting point is 00:23:11 It's just a different... It's so weird to say it's a different time, but it's weird. That just sounds like their show, but it doesn't make any sense. It just doesn't at all because, if anything, they should be given more liberty. Like you said, I mean, if you have a phone that has battery, it is just about impossible to get lost. Right. Like, you can't get lost.
Starting point is 00:23:35 How could anyone get lost? See, I don't know if it's the fact that they're sheltered because, I mean, definitely to some degree, obviously, but I wasn't treated like that, you know? so i think it's just the difference in there has to be the difference in something it's a difference in something like has anyone ever recently like like ask you like you tell them where to meet and then they ask you for directions like fuck if i know fucking look it up yeah what are you talking about first of all don't ask me for directions like maybe the name of the place name name of the place and if there's multiple locations then i'll give you an address yeah it's
Starting point is 00:24:08 fine maybe but directions i mean this that's ridiculous that's crazy but now we're at the point our parents used to use what map quest to get to somewhere imagine getting from from maps map whatever what yeah just maps i'm saying but you print out you print out the map question i mean before map quest maps like like old school disney like goofy movie maps from from new york to orlando florida first of all i understand it's a straight line on a certain route but not that easy of a task especially when you gotta get gas and shit but the point is if i don't have my phone for directions i might as well be a time traveler that went back and like doesn't know what's going on and they're wildly varying different levels of how good gps's are like the gps in my car
Starting point is 00:24:53 is horrific google maps is the best thing google maps is the best if you you if you don't use google maps then like that's just you're gonna get lost get off this planet apple whatever sad excuse for navigation apple tried to put on me i i hate it i google maps all the way yeah i uninstalled apple maps because i was tired of it being my go-to map that's fair i had one of those days where coming home from high school i got on the i was just like you know it was it was end of the day probably didn't sleep groggy i just want to be home in my bed it's one of those days i want to be in my bed i get on a bus the fucking everyone fucking next to me knows we all get on the same bus i wasn't paying attention i guess i got on the completely wrong bus no one said uh
Starting point is 00:25:40 it's a this number bus no one i got on how would they ever know because we take the same bus every day we take the same bus they didn't get on oh and i was i was at the front you know like we had to fight for buses in prep it was a fucking slaughterhouse i get on i fall asleep i go past the last stop so i'm in like the depot the bus depot and i guess my book my uh my textbook falls over and it makes a noise and i wake up and the bus driver goes oh shit you're still on here you gotta get off man it's like where am i i didn't know phone's dead i think i was in flushing like deep flushing no offense flushing not a lick of english asian signs everywhere no one spoke any english i finally i went into two stores no english where am i i don't know and finally i saw
Starting point is 00:26:27 a freaking black cop and i was like oh my god thank god i went over he said yeah you just got to go here here here i was like you are my fucking hero and i i have nightmares about a time where i asked him about directions he just started speaking and he speaks a different language and i would i might have that would mean i would have jumped in front of the next bus i saw that would have been pretty funny if you asked him he just he just started speaking chinese i have nightmares i have nightmares about it i maybe in the future that would have been funny it fell asleep on the bus you can't fall asleep i have a i fall asleep on the train all the time but i have a keen sense of whenever it's my stop i immediately wake up yeah there's like that one bump but your stop
Starting point is 00:27:03 you're like oh i know that i just know i've never i've never like i don't think i've ever gone over i always get off oh my god time i made the mistake i'm just built different i guess built different i know good for you mr um spatial awareness i i left i i did the worst possible thing is i put nick in charge of staying awake to get us to our stop we yeah well oh that's both of your faults you never put anybody in charge of staying awake if you you can't can't trust them if you if you want a job done right do it yourself that's a fact that's a fact and you know sometimes i give people the benefit of the doubt a little too much and i always regret it but it's it's a day where he's wide awake i'm tired man i'm gonna take it i'm just gonna i'm just gonna close my
Starting point is 00:27:45 eyes for a little bit can you just wake me up when we're there no problem buddy we go past to the last stop and we're heading back like a homeless person trying to ride the train back and forth extra hour also if yeah i mean also it's just unfair because if one person falls asleep you're more likely to fall asleep i think that's your fault not your fault but it's it's uh you you just can't trust anybody to do that okay but if i left it's it's the same thing it's the exact same thing as oh i'm really busy right now can you do this one task for me it's this it's the same but no it's the same thing it's not how's it different because it's it's totally different it's saying oh i have to i have to i have to do this task that's that that looks very enjoyable right next
Starting point is 00:28:28 to you please please decline your your you know like your uh will to do it see the problem is you have to you obviously if you see somebody sleeping on the bus and you just had a day you're gonna want to sleep the problem is the problem is i would agree with you if the fact if it wasn't reverse and i definitely would have stood up and got us to the stop again it's that's why no that's why i don't agree no i would have gotten us to the stop also if if if someone is driving a car and the passenger seat wants to fall asleep oh the driver the driver doesn't stop being awake yeah but do you know how much harder it is to not fall asleep at the wheel when you're when the person in the shotgun is falling asleep.
Starting point is 00:29:07 That's why whenever we're going home from anything, the rule is, I don't care who sits in the shotgun, but if you plan on falling asleep, get in the back. Because if the shotgun is asleep, I am ten times more likely to start nodding off. I don't understand. It doesn't make any sense. It does. You have no stimulus. You have nothing. What if you were coming home by yourself?
Starting point is 00:29:26 No stimuli. You have nothing. You need the radio anyway. No stimuli. Again, but if you're coming home by yourself, it's a totally different thing. because i'm not seeing somebody do the thing like i'm not if when you see somebody sleeping it makes you tired it physically makes you tired that's not true it is that just depends on the weak-minded people then it is especially if you're tired if you don't see anybody sleeping you crank the radio real high yeah you might still be tired but if there's someone like snoozing right next
Starting point is 00:29:55 to you it's so hard to stay awake not if you're in charge of a task is first of all especially driving like it's not if you're tired you're tired it doesn't matter if the person next to you is sleeping it does this is good it definitely matters i mean it's just it's just true if you have somebody in the shot if you have somebody in shotgun sleeping and someone in the shotgun that's not sleeping and you're the same level of tired for both the person who's not sleeping well it'd be so much easier to stay awake you know it was you know so much you know it was really rude about the rules of shotgun that we were driving to canada and one of our friends was driving and I was in shotgun and he was
Starting point is 00:30:29 I was so tired but he said stay awake stay awake please stay awake with me that's different stay awake with me because I'm feeling tired I want someone to keep me awake that's the same thing it's not the same thing it's exactly the same thing it's not the same thing because now I'm in charge of a task but also let me finish because now I'm in charge of keeping you awake which you shouldn't even be driving then we should have done something else
Starting point is 00:30:45 besides the point then when we swapped roles after not letting me sleep I was driving now knocked out well yeah that's loser but I'm also not going to go oh wow he's sleeping my turn to sleep at the wheel that's not what i'm saying but i'm saying the shotgun that it's your it's an unwritten obligation that you can't fall asleep right well he failed that obligation i was very upset about
Starting point is 00:31:07 it well and again get in the back at least yeah get out of here i don't want to hear in the background you're just in the back the point is if if you gotta have somebody next to you that's awake you gotta have someone in your cockpit that'll stroke your cock if you start so if you if you want shotgun you can't fall asleep that's just the rule of the road yeah you have to call You have to call a shotgun and you can't sleep. Unless you're on like a really long road trip because then that's the whole point is that you take shifts sleeping. It's whatever is designated. I agree with that.
Starting point is 00:31:38 Like I said, he said, keep me awake. Fine. No way I'm falling asleep because now I'm scared. It's like I'm keeping you awake. We got it. But again, I think what I'm saying is that that is the unwritten rule of all shotguns. So that is the task. That's the task you accept when you step into a shotgun scene.
Starting point is 00:31:56 that's fair all right i'm getting too gassy we gotta get out of here okay tell them where they can find you oh you can find me at danny is watching on instagram youtube and no clubhouse clubhouse you can find me at ant prisco on instagram and can't forget to follow picky boys podcast like share subscribe tell your aunts and uncles bye We'll see you next time.
