Starting point is 00:00:00 The thing is, can we rent a bouncy house and return it covered in lube? That's a good question. I'm sure it wouldn't be the first time. Sounds familiar. I don't know. I'm starting to understand why everything Danny gets breaks very quickly. I'm starting to understand. Of course it broke.
Starting point is 00:00:21 I used it. You ever rewatch Shrek? Shrek 1 a while. I rewatch Shrek 2 probably every couple months. All righty. All righty, baby. Welcome back to the Picky Boys podcast. Wee, wee, wee, wee. The Picky Bod Boys cast. Picky Bod Boys.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Picky Pod. Picky Pod Boys cast. I like Picky Bod. That was funny. Picky Bod. Picky Bod's out here. Do you think the Leaning Tower of Pisa will ever fall? That's a great question. Would you have that prepared? Yes, I do.
Starting point is 00:00:54 That's a great question. It should, right? I don't believe them. I actually just saw a TikTok on how they're stopping it from falling. Yeah. Oh, okay. Well, now they're probably stopping it. But at first, I mean, when they first made it, I don't think they had measures in place for when it started going,
Starting point is 00:01:07 oh, oh, guys, guys. I think they were like, oh, no. So do you think if no one touched it, it would fall? That's the case with every building. Yeah. But I guess, yeah. I mean, eventually, I guess. 1,000 years?
Starting point is 00:01:19 Well, yeah, 1,000 years. But I'm saying I think within 100 years, this one would fall. Oh, I think... Even quicker, maybe. It's not like the Empire's... They're not touching it up. I feel like just... But yeah, especially old buildings.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Wait, what are you going to say about the Empire? Nothing, nothing, nothing about the Empire State Building. The Empire State Building would last for a very, very, very long time. Yeah, I was going to say, you're making it seem like buildings just start going, oh, guys, my head's a little heavy, and they go down. I didn't make it seem like anything. I was just saying, given enough time, every building will fall. That's not wrong.
Starting point is 00:01:47 The thing about the Leaning Tower of Pisa is it's just straight concrete, pretty much. And I think that it doesn't have to go like a tree. I think there's a certain tilting point where it just snaps in the middle. What's inside it? Can you go? You can't go inside, right? I don't think they let people go up there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:05 It's less about the construction of the building and more about the land it was built on. It's like too soft. We've got to get that land hard, dude. It's too soft. The land's too soft. That's why it's sinking. Oh, I mean, I'm not a soil man. Would you go inside it?
Starting point is 00:02:20 Dumb Italians just fucking built a building on fucking soft soil. So many of the... Roman concrete heals itself. So yeah, we fucked up on some tower that no one cared about, but Roman concrete heals itself. I don't know what that means. Do you think Romans were just Italian people? As in like...
Starting point is 00:02:43 So in the sense of like the Italian persona today, do you think that's how Romans were? That's the Italian-American person. Hey, yo, give me some wine. They were probably still a little like that. The Colosseum. How you doing? No, I think they were.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Yeah, they all, like, everyone from. They greased their hair. Everyone from Rome just lived in Brooklyn for 10 years. There's a reason they're Italian-American and not Italian. I think they were more like just different Greek people. Greek with a twist. Why can't Greek be different Italian people? What was first?
Starting point is 00:03:16 I keep calling them Italian. I'm talking specifically Romans. I think Ancient Greece is older. Yeah, it's probably older. Well, also, Rome is like fucking... What is Rome? Like 2,000 years of history? Like, there's so much that's considered Rome in history.
Starting point is 00:03:31 We went to Rome. We did go to Rome. How was that? It was nice. It was nice. Went to the Colosseum. Stole a rock. Colosseum.
Starting point is 00:03:38 Very illegal. Really? Yeah, stole a rock. Oh, my God. You're not allowed to. We've talked about this before. Stole a rock. Not allowed to.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Bad person. Lost the rock. Oh, that's even worse. So, technically, didn't steal anything. That's even worse. Stealing and losing is just stealing and being a loser. No, no. You rob a bank and you take the money and then you lose the money.
Starting point is 00:03:55 You didn't rob a bank. No, you just stole and you're a dummy. Stealing and losing doesn't mean... I gave it back, technically, to the earth. Came from the earth, back to the earth. Disagree. Stealing a rock from the Coliseum is better than defacing it, though. Like carving your name into a big rock.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Didn't someone just do that? That's some pussy shit. Fucking get him, Danny. And I think they got arrested. They put it on me. I think they got arrested for it. Good. Fucking scoundrels.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Yeah, what are we doing? I'm not saying I went up and I front kicked a rock and I chipped it. It was on the ground. I got to be honest. Look, if you want it to last, they shouldn't even be letting people in it. I don't know why they're doing that. Oh, money. Because you need to be able to see inside.
Starting point is 00:04:39 It's cool inside. I'm saying if you want it to last, you can't have that. Well, what's the point of having it last if it's just a fucking thing that sits there that nobody can go in anyway? This is the age-old question. It's like the Ferrari in the garage. He never fucking takes it out, but it's fucking spit shine on that, you know? Yeah, but try to start the engine, and it goes pook. Yeah, I think that's dumb.
Starting point is 00:05:00 I'm all for, you know, if you have something, even if it's old, you got to let people use it. Or else, what is the point of it even being there? This is Danny's whole entire argument against bumper bodies. Yeah, grandma. danny hates bumper buddies you know i hate bumper buddies because you're like you're you explain it you can do it you know the things that you take out of your trunk and you flap them over your bumper so that nobody parallel parks and bumps and nicks the back of your bumper okay people drive around with them on all the time and it's like why are you protecting your bumper
Starting point is 00:05:32 if we can't what's the point of protecting it if we can't even see the bumper for the five years you've had this car nobody can see if there's a scratch on it or not so protecting it unless it's a lease or whatever blah blah but i'm saying like if you're just protecting it because you want to protect your car but nobody's seeing it anyway what the fuck is the point it's schrodinger's bumper exactly it's like you're you're protecting the niceness and newness and how nice something looks by making it look ugly you know well i mean it's like it's like the fucking plastic on a couch It is like the plastic on the couch. Oh, this is such a nice furniture.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Let me wrap it in plastic and make it terrible furniture. But at least it'll look nice forever. Well, I mean, eventually the person with the bumper buddy is going to go and park somewhere. So instead of having to, oh, wait, before I parallel park, let me get it out of my trunk, please. It's like, it's already on there. Exactly. But then just take it off. And if somebody bumps in, first of all, I also partially like the wearing of things.
Starting point is 00:06:31 I think things are meant to be used. and so you know like the you know like the japanese plates with the fucking gold in the cracks it's like wait what take a step back you know there's the japanese you're talking very fast you know the japanese they there's like japanese plates and if they break they mend them with gold but they don't try to mend it and make it like match the color like the fact that it broke is like means it was used and now it's resealed again and like those cracks are filled in with gold because you know it's not it's it's like it's a sign that it was used and this is a useful object and so same thing here if you got a few dings on your car it's a it's a car that was used
Starting point is 00:07:11 i'm starting to understand why everything danny gets breaks very quickly i'm starting to understand these are of course it broke i used it these are all tools that are meant to be used people who to people who take too much care of of a certain thing because they're too so afraid to you know whatever event first of all eventually they let loose anyway it's like you know you ever meet somebody the first year they have their car it's like oh i would never park my car in the street we gotta put in the garage and then eventually you go okay we'll park it it's closer whatever i'm on board because especially when you're talking about the bumper buddies you always see them on the really nice cars and it's like okay what you can afford the ferrari but you
Starting point is 00:07:50 can't afford insurance well get the fucking thing off the ferrari you bought it for you bought it so that it could look really nice. Now, let it look nice. Yeah. I guess there's a price-to-bumper ratio, I suppose. Plus, if I want to make a dent on your bumper with that thing on it, I still can. Well, it's not going to prevent someone...
Starting point is 00:08:09 It's not adamantium. I know, but that's even crazier. It's this fucking disgusting black rubber monstrosity. What do these things look like? It's this disgusting black rubber monstrosity to protect, like, literally a ding on your car. Was it called Bumper Buddy? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:26 It's also just one portion of your car. Bumper Buddy is a rubber ride-on electric car for kids and toddlers. It's not it. Just type in the fucking... It might not be called... Bumper Bully. There you go. Dope.
Starting point is 00:08:39 He's right. Bully makes sound... It sounds like you're doing the bumping. And I think you are... It's actually kind of cool. I feel like you could customize it. That fits into the car pretty well. That's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:08:48 That one looks good, but it never looks that good. That looks all right. Yeah, it never looks like that. and you are meant to put it in your trunk and then take it out every time you park
Starting point is 00:08:58 that's what it's supposed to be so every time you are parked you can put it on yeah because if you have to park with that on just don't be in the car what about your fender
Starting point is 00:09:06 you just can't protect your car you cannot protect everything you cannot control all of these things that are going to happen just fucking let it happen
Starting point is 00:09:14 bitch bitch bitches everyone's everyone who's watching what a bumper bully is just sweating that's true
Starting point is 00:09:20 someone's bound to have It's impossible not to. And I'm just saying, free the bumper. Yeah, free the bumper. Let that ass hang out. Let that fucking ass hang out. We want to see your bumper fucking scratches and all. Free the nipple.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Yeah. There's something wrong with my ear right now. Did you get an infection? My ears are just wet. I bought that thing on TikTok. It's a camera. And it has a tiny little spoon apparatus on it. And you put it in your ear so you can see if you have any blockage
Starting point is 00:09:51 your ear wax and did you see anything in there yeah i'm kind of afraid to look in there because what if i see something with legs no that's that's like a myth no i know it happens but like it doesn't happen here here you think a spider is crawling into your ear oh no worse worse than spider it's like a little fucking ear cockroach thing wait please what how have you ever heard of anybody who has that that's not like honestly i saw a video or social media video i saw a video of it there's it's this is not their fault but if i met or knew someone that did at one point have a bug in their ear for a while that they had to go to a place to get it out i don't think i would talk to them anymore really i just it somehow reflects on that i think it does a little bit
Starting point is 00:10:37 on the personality it might be a little reflective okay and i just don't i don't know why but that's a pet peeve of mine i just found out i don't think i'd talk to that person anymore like if danny out of nowhere just had a spider's nest living in his ear i'd be like what are you doing where that's even a valuable place of real estate for that spider. And I'd start to ask a lot of questions and maybe not want to hang out in there. I mean, I think everybody's ear
Starting point is 00:10:58 is a valuable piece of real estate for a spider. It's like wet and dark and probably like relatively, it might be too hot actually. But there's no flies in there. If anything, if you had a spider in your ear, that would have indicated that there were flies before. Oh, what's the spider eating? For food.
Starting point is 00:11:13 They set up a web to catch flies. What if it's a spider that can eat earwax? I don't even have earwax in there. It's just wet. If it's a spider that eats earwax, That's not his fault. That means you have a lot of earwax in there. Clean your ears.
Starting point is 00:11:24 I think we all do. Dude, you know what I saw a video of? I want to try it. Because, I don't know, sticking Q-tips, do you ever get paranoid, like, maybe I'm going to poke my brain? I'm not a child. Well, they say, doctors say to not do it. So, you do you.
Starting point is 00:11:36 It's really more about poking your eardrum. But either way, still shouldn't use them. My ears are wet. They soak up the wet. Either way, continue. I saw a clip of someone, like, putting, like, a fucking paper straw in the ear. And then burning them. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Burning them. And I guess that sucks out the oxygen from your ear. And then they took it out and opened the straw, and it's fucking full of... You make a candle out of the earwax. I heard that's a lie. It's already in... There's already wax-type substance in there. Got again.
Starting point is 00:12:06 They got you again, dude. They got you again. They got you again. This is a dumb question. Yes. If my ear produced abnormal amounts of earwax, and I collected them all and stacked them all up and put a wick in it, can that be a candle? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Shrek did that. Shrek did do that. I don't think it's actually wax. Are you sure about that? I'm not. I don't think. Well, it can't be actual wax, right? Our body doesn't just make wax.
Starting point is 00:12:33 Exactly. So now is it something that is burnable as a fuel? That's what wax is. Wax isn't a fuel. It just burns. That's what it is. That's like saying paper is fuel. It just burns.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Does it burn? The fuse burns. The wax doesn't burn at all. It melts. No, the wax burns. But you can save the drippings. The wax doesn't ignite in any way. It burns into smoke, and it gets absorbed into the wick.
Starting point is 00:13:03 I thought, so the wick definitely burns. I thought all the wax is doing is like- Melting. Slowing down the burning of the wick. Oh, okay. I agree with that now. I mean, it definitely does. If you were to burn a wick without any wax, it would burn in like two seconds.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Exactly. That's what he's saying. So could earwax just be something – I don't think it needs to burn. I think it just needs to stop the burning if you put it around a wick. But it's not just – the reason it's stopping it is because it's burning the wax. I don't think it's burning the wax. The wax is melting. It is burning the wax.
Starting point is 00:13:34 It's melting. No, it's not melting. It's burning the wax. Wax? When have you ever seen wax on fire? No, never. Not – burning, melting, same situation. Oh, here we go.
Starting point is 00:13:44 We got it, boys. But I'm saying that is what is, the candle is burning. If a house on fire, would you consider it melting? No. So it can't be the same thing. But I'm saying in this situation. When your ice cream's been out of the fridge for an hour, is it on fire? Is it burning?
Starting point is 00:13:59 In this situation, you can use the words interchangeably. That's not how words work. Wax does not burn. The surrounding wax around the flame is melting, but the wax that is in the fuse that is in the wick that is burning off slowly and that's making the fragrance
Starting point is 00:14:17 it's definitely evaporating but that's just for like smells it's not evaporating it's not water that's left out over time it's burning I think it's definitely being burnt I don't believe him
Starting point is 00:14:26 I don't think it burns I do think that's a candle scientist I do think I'm pretty sure that I thought that because Shrek did it that's how it works I'm starting to remember that again
Starting point is 00:14:39 and Shrek did do it you ever re-watch Shrek? Shrek 1 a while I re-watch Shrek 2 probably every couple months every couple of months? it's really good so you watch Shrek 2 like 6 times a year? I at least watch the third act
Starting point is 00:14:54 because that song sequence is really good I watched Shrek 1 maybe like 2 years ago or something and I had no idea how bad the animation actually is at least comparative to what kids get today now like fucking i don't know frozen 2 or whatever yeah but you can't be comparing i'm just
Starting point is 00:15:13 saying i as a kid you don't realize how bad it is and also that's all that was the best technology around at the time so now 20 years later watching again i went wow this looks like bad shrek came out 2001 that's yeah but toy story came out in 1995 is that still good i don't know i didn't re-watch that one did you hear about the animation process of shrek you hear about that so the The animators, is it Pixar or Disney? It's Disney, right? No, Pixar? Either way, whatever studio it was,
Starting point is 00:15:43 they were working on other high-value projects, and the Shrek animation team was just in the basement of the company. So when a worker did bad on the bigger projects, they got sent to the basement to work on Shrek, and it was called getting Shrek'd in the industry of that company. And then it turned out to be one of the biggest, probably outperforming all the big ones. But it was a big joke that, oh, Shrek's going to do terrible,
Starting point is 00:16:06 And all these workers are getting Shrek'd because they're all so terrible. It's a bit of a ridiculous story and concept and everything. I guess so. I just remembered what it was, by the way. DreamWorks. It's neither. You got it. DreamWorks.
Starting point is 00:16:19 You're right. And it's funny because everyone who got Shrek'd got probably one of the best portfolio pieces they could ask for. Yeah. But I don't remember because I was, I don't know, four. Was Shrek cool when it came out? or is it like has it become cool over time
Starting point is 00:16:37 no you don't get four of them becoming cool over time it has to do somewhat well to get four yeah but I don't think it was Shrek yet you know
Starting point is 00:16:45 it got a second one and then all of a sudden that's now we're Shrek Shrek 2 is really now we're Shrek'n I think but Shrek has like
Starting point is 00:16:52 records for I don't know exactly what he sang on the back end like retroactively I think yeah I'm just saying it was
Starting point is 00:16:58 was it this you know cultural ogre phenomenon when it came out I mean, you got the fucking, I think you had the, what's the Shrek shake called? No, that's the Shamrock shake. That's the Shamrock shake. Never mind.
Starting point is 00:17:10 I mean, the film earned $11.6 million on its first day and $42.3 million on its opening weekend. I think that's a success for a 2001 animated movie. I think it crushed it. But that's also when movies, you go to the movies because some people don't even have fucking, you can't watch a movie at home, you know? And the whole run, the box office, it made just shy of $500 million. Well, that's quite a bit. So, I mean, I think it did all right, Danny. All right, all right.
Starting point is 00:17:41 I was just wondering. He's a bit of a Shrek hater, I think. Yeah, yeah. No, no, I'm a Shrek. No one should Shrek you. Go Shrek yourself. I'm a Shrek lover. I just didn't know if it, like, you know.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Because some things, like, you know, they take a little bit to develop. Like the first season, the first two seasons of Game of Thrones, nobody was fucking watching that show. Really? And then at the end, everybody was watching it. So I was wondering if it was like that. Shrek 2, three years later. Does anyone want to guess the global box office?
Starting point is 00:18:07 I'm going to go a billion. It was 935 million worldwide. So Shrek is doing quite okay. Quite okay. Has Mike Myers been in anything in the last 10 years? I think after Love Guru. Yeah, that was not good. Not good, not good.
Starting point is 00:18:25 But he could have a lot of passes because of Austin Powers. But a lot of comedians make movies that are just like, Oh, yeah. A little misstep here. But it's also tough coming. Like even Adam Sandler. That was last podcast. But even Adam Sandler.
Starting point is 00:18:40 That was last podcast. Was, you know, Jack and Jill. Yeah, I don't know what that was about. I don't know what that was about. I don't know who pitched him that. But I guess it's kind of reminiscent of like every stand-up comedian bombs or has bombed. So, you know, every acting comedian, you're going to essentially bomb in a movie. It can't all be gems, you know.
Starting point is 00:18:59 No. Yeah. They can't all be on Kajam. Everybody was just like waiting for... Even everybody at home went, oh, here it comes. We know what's coming. Has any comedian not had a bad movie?
Starting point is 00:19:12 I don't think it's possible. No. Has any comedian not had a bad movie? Will Ferrell's got a great list, but I'm sure he's got bad ones. I mean, this Eurovision... You see that movie? What's that?
Starting point is 00:19:26 That one was a little tough. He was this... It was essentially American Idol, but for Europe, and he was the main guy, and it was very strange. I think he just liked singing, so he did a fun one where he could sing. Well, it's like Eurovision is immensely popular all over the world. Yes. What is Eurovision?
Starting point is 00:19:44 Eurovision, yeah, it's what Antonio said. It's American Idol, but it's like the Olympics, so every country sends a representative to sing. Is this a real thing? Oh, it's a real thing. I think so. And it's a huge, huge, huge thing. Wow.
Starting point is 00:19:56 and uh you know somebody wins every year and it's like usually some i don't know how would you say avant-garde songs what's that mean a little quirky you know like all they're all like a little weird like do you ever have you ever heard the clip of uh is there any tiktok sounds that is it it's an old vine it's an old vine sound that it's like oh my god what is that this is why we need a producer i know oh my god you you've definitely heard it before i forgot i can't remember what it is we'll get a producer soon i gotta look it up now i gotta look it up that's why we need one because you definitely know while he's looking that up we could uh tell the youtube usually this is saved for patreon patreon.com slash picky boys we give all the oh by the way
Starting point is 00:20:42 go grab your merch valentine's day is coming up go grab your merch uh the clip making competition started get in there patreon.com slash picky boys any tier joins the discord we'll talk come talk to us we'll tell you all about what's going on we'll tell you all about it but yeah we just lost an episode for the first time in a while we lost an episode yeah it happens we tried to record one and my mic was just not just didn't didn't go through that's it poof episode gone oh you heard this and we're back oh yep you know sounds familiar i don't know and now this person won eurovision or performed did that win this is this they were performed at eurovision i don't think it won he does not think to my great surprise i i think it's eurovision too this is just the actual
Starting point is 00:21:34 music video but you're saying that this is uh representative of the candidates of this competition usually it's just like it's just quirky stuff sometimes can't believe i've never heard of this yeah you you really can't believe you never heard of it i can believe it i can't believe it honestly i'll let everybody know about your vision you think everybody knows about a lot of things well it's just like it gets memed very often true true that's i don't even really know if i know that meme yeah if he didn't know that meme he doesn't he's not gonna true maybe you're not in the eurovision meme sphere no maybe i'm not ask him ask him have you ever watched it no of course see fucking this guy he talks about it oh everybody i love it yeah i know but again
Starting point is 00:22:21 it's that that that's why i would think you would know it is because i've never watched it but i know what it is and often i know who wins because you just eventually because when you're in the me and you say oh denmark won this year is u.s win ever it's they they don't they're not euro euro oh yes yes that would make sense i'm kind of shocked they haven't done it just like within the united states like the 50 states competition and everybody's american idol bro yeah but kind of not really like it's like not there's not like one representative like i'm from mississippi i mean kind of no you watch that show pretty much multiple people have you have you watched the show multiple people
Starting point is 00:23:00 it's an open audition in a state and tons of them get pushed through from that audition so it's like way more than one person per region
Starting point is 00:23:11 well I mean why the fuck would they pop up a shop in Utah because people can sing anywhere it doesn't matter where you live
Starting point is 00:23:17 American Idol is first of all first of all I can't even believe that show still exists the answer is American Idol to your questions I can't believe
Starting point is 00:23:24 they didn't do that the answer is American Idol it's not the same thing though American Idol This isn't just a singing competition where Europeans enter. It's a representative, one representative from one state or one country. That's who it is. Are there more states in the U.S. than countries in Europe?
Starting point is 00:23:49 I don't know. Who are you asking? I don't know. I think it's probably similar. By the guess? More states. I'd say more states. I would say more countries if I had to guess
Starting point is 00:24:00 and I'm guessing I should look it up producer look it up how many countries are in Europe the point is they already do it it's called American Idol no because when Kelly Clarkson wins American Idol
Starting point is 00:24:16 it's not like oh New York wins like it's not what it is 44 yeah lower Bozo I'm just, okay, so very, very similar. It's actually almost a one-to-one. So that means...
Starting point is 00:24:29 They should do it. That means it would be a bigger production if we did. They do every other spinoff of a singing competition that could ever be done. That's very true. Why can't they do the state's vision? Are you talking about American Idol? No, I'm just talking about... I'm just saying shows in general.
Starting point is 00:24:47 They're never going to do something like that because that is so akin to American Idol. It is nothing like American Idol. That is a ridiculous sentence. It is at least 90% close to American Idol. So is every other singing show ever. That's not true. Ever. That's not true?
Starting point is 00:25:01 The Masked Singer? I don't see it. No one's wearing a mask on that. That's not really a singing show. No, it's not a singing show. It's not. Do they sing on it? Yeah, but it's not like, ooh, let's see if we can find a talent who can sing.
Starting point is 00:25:12 It's who is the celebrity singing. And often, a lot of them are trash anyway. It's totally different. To say it's not a singing show is wrong. It's a celebrity guessing show. It's not a singing show. What are they doing on that show? That's not the point.
Starting point is 00:25:24 What are they? Answer the question. Singing on the show. No, they're singing, but it's not a singing show. Because no one gets to discover it. Are they dancing? The voice is a singing show. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:33 The American Idol is a singing show. Okay. I don't really know many of them. There's one where they used to battle each other. That one was a singing show. Wild N' Out? No. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:25:44 But the Masked Singer, I would argue, not a singing show. I would argue that. The first word again, I didn't hear you. It's definitely a singing show. I get what you're trying to say, but you cannot say it's not a singing show. It's not a singing competition of which people can come up through. That's the great distinctive word. It's not a singing competition.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Don't they win? Don't the celebrities win? Like this is the best one? It might be a singing competition, but it's not a singing competition via which people can get discovered. A singing competition where what do you know? Somebody who fucking sings already and is successful wins. That's not a competition. Yes, it is.
Starting point is 00:26:19 No, it's not. No, it's not. Oh, all the Olympics where all these guys who are already so good all compete against each other. What the fuck are you talking about? Would anybody watch that show
Starting point is 00:26:28 if there was no masks? Probably. I mean, probably. No. That doesn't make sense. Anyone watch the Olympics if it was just a bunch of regular old dudes?
Starting point is 00:26:37 That is the... Yeah, probably. So it's the same. So we would probably watch that. Have you watched the show? The entire crux of the show is guessing who it is. I understand.
Starting point is 00:26:46 There's clues and all this shit. I understand. Hold on, hold on. It's still a singing show. Yeah, but it's not a singing competition. No, and it's still a singing competition. To compare it to American Idol is like very dumb. I'm not doing that. You are absolutely comparing it. I'm not comparing it to American Idol. You said it is nothing like American Idol.
Starting point is 00:27:02 That is wrong. Because then you said. So what are you saying? You're saying it is like American Idol, which means you're comparing it to American Idol. Because then he said it is not a singing show. That was his first point. That was wrong. Then he said it was not a competition show. It's not. It's 90% like American Idol. So you are comparing it to American Idol. You are comparing it to American Idol. It's not like American Idol. No, it's not.
Starting point is 00:27:24 It's more like American Idol than Wheel of Fortune. Thank you. Sure, I guess. That's fine. With your description of the Masked Singer, it should be the same as Wheel of Fortune. Because there was no singing and there was no competition. That's a game show.
Starting point is 00:27:36 It's totally different. You know what's weird about American Idol? The first half of the season is a fucking comedy show, and then the second half is a drama competition, really. But the first half is just them making fun of all these people Yeah, a lot of it is actually kind of really sad. They tried to step away from that, though. Now it's only like two or three episodes.
Starting point is 00:27:56 Yeah, that's why it sucks now. I'm not interested enough in singing to like any of those shows. Even though I do think the concepts are cool, like the bass singer, even though that doesn't count, or the voice or whatever. Those are cool concepts. I can't listen to people sing for an hour straight. There was a game show I used to love to watch,
Starting point is 00:28:14 and it was very old, very grainy. It was Card Shark, I think. Oh, I like that show. It was when, it's essentially higher or lower. It's like you get a five of diamonds, and then it's a series of five cards, and this old bat bag of bones goes, over, under, five. And then someone goes, over, over, and then it's a four every time. I don't think anyone's ever won that show, actually.
Starting point is 00:28:33 If I had, like, $10 billion, I probably don't need that much. But if I had $10 billion, I would start a game show. Probably it would be a revival, maybe a new thing. one thing for sure Legends of the Hidden Temple that was like the greatest show of all time
Starting point is 00:28:51 I loved that show not too many kids kids contestant game shows yeah that was one you know I guess they're
Starting point is 00:28:57 they're like now probably that's a liability issue yeah but I guess but I mean it's more friendly for kids to watch you would revive it
Starting point is 00:29:04 for adults an adult version no it would it would probably be it would probably be a little bit because I watched an episode recently
Starting point is 00:29:12 they're really young they're really like children That's what I'm saying. It's like maybe you would up the age? Yeah, I would up the age. I mean, I still – Teenagers.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Yeah, like teenagers. First of all, because they're better at competitions. Some of these kids, it's like, Jesus Christ, it's a three-piece puzzle. Put it together. Yeah. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Did you guys ever watch the Nickelodeon game show?
Starting point is 00:29:33 And at the end, once the one kid won, you have to do the floor puzzle, and the floor panels light up, and then you have to step on the proper sequence of light? Please, tell me. Which show is it? No, but that's just a part. That was one of the games. Like the final game in it.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Do you remember that, though? The final game? It was towards the end of whatever they were doing. Is it the mountain one? Do you guys remember the mountain one? No, no, it's not the mountain one. It's a Nickelodeon thing. It was a Nickelodeon.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Was it Splat? There was one called Splat. It had a lot of slime involved. Nickelodeon. Please. Jason, can you look this up? Oh, God, he's not here. I'm looking it up, too.
Starting point is 00:30:09 Nickelodeon. We need an editor here. We need a producer. We need a Jason, a guy in the chair over there. Nickelodeon game shows. Oh, God, please. Guts. Oh, Guts.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Was it part of Guts? That's what I was trying to say. And the Crag. You remember the Crag? That's the mountain that they climb. Yeah, Guts was good. I think they tried to bring back Guts, but it just didn't work. I think it was Figure It Out, maybe.
Starting point is 00:30:27 I think they brought back Legends, too. Legends of the Hidden Temple. Did they really? Either way, there was this thing at the end where you had to just, like, let's say these four squares lit up and then, like, this way, and then it would disappear and you'd have to remember it. and there was this one kid that just couldn't figure it out, and I was screaming at my TV, screaming at it.
Starting point is 00:30:46 It starts off with a 5x5, and then the floor opens up and goes 6x6, and then 7x7, that's the final one, and he just couldn't. Oh, God. Watch clips of it, you're going to get so angry. Oh, God, that's terrible. You ever watch any Japanese game shows? I watch as in more than a series, no, but I like Japanese game shows a lot. I try, whenever I'm thinking of punishments or picky boys,
Starting point is 00:31:10 I try to draw inspiration from Japanese game shows. There's this one Japanese game show where it's just the classic, these slippery wet men need to go up this slanted, slippery hill. I have the staircase, like the oiled-up staircase. Pretty much, yeah, yeah. I have tried to figure out how we could execute that for so long. I mean, it's not hard.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Oh, it's incredibly hard. It's just big. Think about a place where you could get a staircase that large that you could, first of all, put mats down and then oil up. Oh, bro, just get an inflatable staircase. Oh, you're not getting up that. You're not getting up.
Starting point is 00:31:47 You're not getting up what I'm... You need a step. You need an actual thing. You are not getting up a bouncy house. I thought you were talking about inflatable. Yeah, I know, yeah. Not actual stairs, Danny. We wouldn't be able to do that
Starting point is 00:31:59 even with just to protect ourselves. We wouldn't be able to do that. No, you still put mats down. Oh, so you put mats down. oh look at it look at you you put mats down now it's safe oh everybody have fun it's like you crazy i'm just i'm just saying i've i've i've wanted to do that so badly and i have within there are some bouncy ones that have like ropes yeah yeah you would need it would have to be a bouncy it would have to be a bouncy one that could work but the the thing is can we rent a bouncy
Starting point is 00:32:27 house and return it covered in lube that's a good question i'm sure wouldn't be the first time no No, I wouldn't. What if you buy it from a bouncy house sex shop or something? I don't think those hands exist. All right. We make one. We make one. I think it just holds it down.
Starting point is 00:32:44 These solutions are so simple. Such simple solutions. You ever try to wash lube off your hand? Yeah. Well, first of all, if you're using water-based lube, it should come right off. I feel like you hurt yourself on that kind of material. If you use a silicone lube. I think you need silicone.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Oh, then it's never coming off. I know. So I think you just got to eat that. No, no, no. You have to use one. Wait, how much does it cost to just buy one? He doesn't know. That's a good option.
Starting point is 00:33:08 You're not going to be able to return this thing. It's a few thousand dollars. Oh, I mean. What are you owing? No, like eventually. Oh, yeah. Like when the Patreon's bigger, yeah. You can do whatever you want.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Really, if they vote on it and they want it, I mean, it's for them anyway. It's like a Patreon goal. That's like under three. $1,500? The best ones I've seen for this are like type in like bouncy castle mountain. Oh, what about that? This is all right. 1400
Starting point is 00:33:33 mountain. I mean, mountain sounds really big. I don't know. It's just more of the things on it that
Starting point is 00:33:39 allow you to get up. I mean, yeah, when the Patreon, I mean, we can't
Starting point is 00:33:42 drop this now. We can't drop that kind of money now. But I've always wanted
Starting point is 00:33:45 to do that because I think that's just like the funniest. I've watched that game show so
Starting point is 00:33:50 many times of the guys just like trying to get up those stairs. It's so
Starting point is 00:33:53 funny. Correct me if I'm wrong. Was there a game show where it's Japanese
Starting point is 00:33:59 and people are getting jerked off on it while they're trying to do shit or sing or not make a noise or something? Oh, I don't know. There's like a ton of sexual Japanese game shows.
Starting point is 00:34:09 I don't know them offhand, but that sounds like it probably exists. Sounds like you knew a couple. To know that there's a ton. I've seen the clips. People are getting jerked off and they have to like,
Starting point is 00:34:17 just like, recite the Gettysburg Address or something. I don't think the Japanese people are doing that. Well, yeah. Yeah, I don't think they're showing it,
Starting point is 00:34:25 but it's under the table or something. That's pretty funny. I mean... That's pretty funny. I mean, I guess so. I mean, good for the people to sign up for that show, because I don't know if I could just get jerked off on TV.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Sounds hard. That's where we're ending it, everybody. That's where we go. JT, tell them where to find you. Let's get out of here. Find me on Instagram at TheJBalls. You can find me at DannyIsWatching. You can find me at AntPrisco.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Can't forget to follow. Here we go. The Piggy Boys on Instagram and Twitch. And don't forget to follow the gaming channel. Put in the description what game show you would like to see us recreate. Yeah, that's good. It's going to be a silent library. Eventually it will be a silent library, for sure, for sure.
