The theater is alive
Stop the podcast now
and take these two tickets
to go see the 4.30 showing
of Avatar The Way of Water.
I would have jumped.
In theaters.
I would have jumped.
So I, Antonio would have.
How is that nice for me?
Or how is that,
oh, it's naughty.
It's nice for me
and naughty for you.
That's fucked up.
I wanted to get you back
in the theater.
Well, I'm,
thank God I didn't pick
the other box.
Fuck.
Stop.
Whoa, you just cursed.
No, I didn't.
Yeah, you did.
You just said fuck.
Wow.
Oh, what?
You did.
Okay.
Oh, you know you did.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Oh, you just did it again.
No, I didn't.
No, I didn't.
This is crazy.
Oh, it's so crazy.
All right, I have a game for us to play.
Now I wasted...
The tickets?
The tickets.
That's true.
Just give them to somebody else.
I don't know.
What time is it?
Oh, it's 4.20.
We were barely making that.
We were going to make it.
It was going to be a beautiful day at the theater.
We were going to vlog it.
We can't bring a camera into a movie theater.
That's like a legal thing.
We were going to vlog.
I was just going to take a bunch of pictures where you were upset, and I was like, we're
at the movies.
That's fair.
Would have been very upset.
And the next, like I said, the next podcast, the next Naughty or Nice is the final one.
I have a little surprise for everybody.
Everybody?
Everybody.
Okay.
It's Naughties and Nices.
Oh, nice.
So there's multiple.
There's multiple different ones.
It's going to be our Christmas episode.
Can't wait.
Hell yeah.
Anyway, what's going on?
How's it going?
I have a game for us to play.
Okay.
And you have a chance to win money.
whoa yeah all you have to do is repeat what i say no this is all you have to do
how much money is repeat uh ten dollars a repeat
say it's easy just cat cat wow ten dollars yeah you're racking them up okay fuck my sister right
in the little fucking stupid ass fucking bitch pussy i'm not gonna do that one why not because
Well, every one you don't do, you lose $10, so now you're at zero.
What?
That wasn't a rule.
You don't win $10.
No, I don't.
Yes, you do.
You just lost it.
All right, next one.
Cat.
Cat?
All right, $10.
Yeah.
All right, next one.
Fuck you.
No.
You lose $10.
God damn it.
All right, last round.
I promise.
Last round.
Pineapple.
Pineapple.
All right, $10.
Uh-huh.
Last time.
Uh-huh.
Here we go.
Uh-huh.
cunt that's 20 bucks cunt
worth it jokes on you you're not getting the money what
no i get the money i get the money that was a fun game i'm a good guy yeah you're a great guy
how was covid oh it sucked yeah it's a terrible thing i the first the first day it kind of just
feels like you're melted into your bed and just like and you're sweaty the first time i got like
shivers i've never never experienced that shivers oh my god i hate when that happens when it's like
you're you're super super cold but it's like hot in your room or vice versa dude i was under the
blanket on the couch literally like this like i was so cold i've never it was almost yeah i was
almost like it's this weird thing where after it was done i was kind of grateful i got it because
I've never experienced something like that so like to experience something I've never experienced
was okay like but all like because I was safe you know like I didn't want to do that and I could
maybe you know yeah when I lived in St. Louis there used I used there's this thing that used
to happen to me it was so crazy I would be like sitting at my desk I was at the front desk I'd
be sitting at the front desk and it would just kind of feel like the world was spinning like it
was like like imagine like the world is spinning around you why and like I was like oh my god
what's going on but i kind of like leaned into it because i was like wow i've never experienced
before and i was just like whoa whoa how about a roller coaster uh but i was actually just
dehydrated oh because i drank a lot there was a free coffee okay and so i drank i would drink so
much coffee and then i would like piss a bunch and um i was i was like super caffeinated and
dehydrated so you were really excited and thirsty and so i was just like spinning around and you
were spinning around that's yeah probably i actually read i could have passed out i feel
like you were in stage at least three of pass out it felt kind of cool honestly people do that you
know isn't that like i've never passed out isn't that erotic asphyxiation like that's why well
people choke themselves when they right and when you pass out it's kind of you know you probably
felt you you erotic you erotically asphyxiate i can't say the word i just asphyxiated you
There was no erotic involved.
I don't know if you were hard or not.
I was not.
Maybe there was no erotic.
So there was no erotic.
I've never passed out.
One time this kid passed out in church during the Thanksgiving Mass.
He was sitting around the edge of the pew, and he was wearing this sweatshirt.
It was too hot.
And all of a sudden, you just saw him just fold it over the pew.
You know, a lot of people pass out in church.
Maybe it's the oldies.
I think it's the incense.
It's like the smoke.
Yeah, and they're trying to knock everybody out.
Yeah.
I remember once an old woman passed out or something, and the church was so packed, I
forgot what we were there for, that they lifted her through the pews like she was crowd surfing.
Wow.
Yeah.
Have you ever crowd surfed?
Where would I have crowd surfed?
I don't know.
Where would I have the opportunity to surfboard a crowd?
Where?
You've been to a music festival?
Oh.
Oh.
Yeah.
Sign me up.
I didn't know.
I don't know.
On the activity list that as soon as you go to a music festival, oh, I'm going to crowd
surf.
That's not how that works.
You've been to concerts?
Have you ever crowd surfed?
Well, that's what I was going to say.
You know, this is like one of the plights of being a larger man.
I don't feel like I can crowd surf.
I feel like you're going to drop me and I'm going to hurt somebody.
So I never tried.
But if I was a petite young buck like you, I would have crowd surfed for sure.
Maybe there was a time for my crowd surfing days.
Now I just don't trust people.
I don't know if a wandering finger or just like someone's just not going to catch me.
That's half the fun.
Still the wandering finger.
I got a gaming chair today.
I'm officially a gamer.
I'm going to start streaming soon.
Twitch.tv.
Twitch.tv.
Twitch.tv.
Twitch.tv.
Twitch.tv.
Twitch.tv.
Great gaming chair.
Love it.
I've been sitting in it all day.
And I feel like a better gamer because of it.
I thought you should have brought it down and sat in it for this.
The thing is, my chair, my old chair, one of the screws broke, so it was like this.
Okay.
Kind of.
And so I'd always slouch.
It was very bad for my...
Lumbar.
What is it called?
Scoliosis?
No.
Lymphatic system?
Thyroid?
Liver?
Skeletal system?
Ergonomics!
That's what it's called.
It's called ergonomics.
Ah, the chair was bad for your herbs.
It was terrible.
My spine was way out of alignment.
I think I probably slipped a disc or two.
But now I'm in a nice chair with lumbar support.
And I'm straight spined.
And I'm fucking...
Damn.
Ow!
Wow!
Damn.
Damn.
And I'm gaming like a madman.
And I fucking game.
It feels so nice to be able to say it.
I know.
I'm going to curse so bad.
That's all I want to do.
I mean, you can curse.
I can't.
You owe me $20.
Yes, you do.
No, I do not.
Yeah, I'm going to take over some of JT's off days.
Damn.
So that we can just have constant picky boys forever.
And ever and ever and ever.
Yeah, I'm going to play different styles of games than JT does.
I'm less of a gamer.
Yeah, you're not very good.
Well, that's not necessarily true.
You're not very good at his kind of games.
At his kind of games, yes.
I got you.
And he's not good at my kind of games.
He probably is.
I don't think so.
I mean, it's not that inverse.
Have you ever seen him in a racing game?
Well, he doesn't like games where it doesn't go pew-pew or fight back.
So, again, he's not good at my kind of games.
You race?
I race.
I race.
That's what I was streaming for a long time,
and I will eventually start streaming F1 again,
but I'm going to stream all kinds of games.
You just wait.
You think any F1 drivers drive around with a butt plug in their ass?
I don't think so.
It's too heavy.
Oh, you think it'll add to the weight too much of the car?
Yeah.
So you think they get colonoscopies before?
I don't know about all that.
Like a fighter?
Every ounce probably counts.
Well, I know that at the end,
you sweat so much in the car because it's so hot
that your car is lighter because you've just
dropped weight
just during the race.
Alright. Yeah.
I agree.
Easy peasy.
You know what I feel?
Tell me what you feel.
Feeling fucking sexy today.
Did you listen to my solo podcast?
No. Why would I?
It was awesome. True.
Where can they find it?
You can find it at patreon.com slash pickyboys
These two had COVID, and so I did a podcast all alone,
and I just rambled into the black eye of the camera.
It is.
It is.
I don't know if you guys ever talked into a camera.
The lens just looks back at you, and I just picture it going like,
ooh.
It just, like, stares at you.
It's one of those scenes in movies where a revelation happens,
but there's just nothing happening.
I know my old camera I used to film my videos on, it had this huge lens, and it was just so daunting to just look down the barrel of it and talk to nobody.
Dude.
Really, too many people.
A couple hundred people.
I did this the other day, and I want everyone to try to do this.
Just go to your mirror and just truly just look deep into your own eyes.
Oh, it's weird.
It's fucking, why is it so weird?
Like, for a second, you're looking at yourself, and then for one second, you're kind of, like, out of it.
It's so weird.
The eyes are the portals, the windows, the soul.
Right, and mirrors are a weird dimension.
So now you're looking in a weird dimension into your own soul, and it's, like, weird.
Well, they say, like, a good thing, like, if you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend or wife or mom, you can, like, as somebody you love.
Okay.
You look into their eyes, straight, no talking for four minutes.
oh man that is fucking weird also and you just look directly into your eyes also you know have
you ever noticed that if you're looking into somebody's eyes if i'm looking into your eyes
i'm looking to my eyes i'm looking at one eye like i'm not looking at both of them
do you know have you ever noticed that okay like you're look you're focusing on one eye you're not
looking at both of my eyes i'm focusing on that beautiful hat but yeah yeah you can buy this at
pickyboys.com but but yeah you're looking at one all right so what is that and i'm only saying
half the picture and you're supposed to not say anything for four minutes and just look into each
other's eyes all right there's a caress perhaps yeah there's varying levels you said you included
mom in there well anybody i've seen people do it there was there was like because there's this like
study about it i don't know the details it was still long ago there was some paper there was
some paper about it but basically they took like people
who you know normally
wouldn't even like each other like I think they
took like one guy who was like
a super anti-immigration
guy and they had like an
illegal immigrant and they sat in
two chairs next to each other and they just looked
at each other for four minutes and the guy
started crying. Who?
The anti-immigration guy
he was like you're just a man
you're just a
man just like me and I never looked
into your eyes and I
that's why I didn't want you coming over here,
but I can see your soul now, brother.
That's what he said.
And he just started crying.
And he started, he said,
I didn't know I had all this.
My heart.
That's a real person.
That's what he said.
The moral of the story is,
look into the eyes of someone you hate,
and maybe it'll change.
We just need to humanize each other a bit,
you know, guys?
Humanize.
Damn.
humanize
humanize
human lives
do you remember
that tumblr thing
it was like
real lies
real lies
real lies
dude I swear to god
I think my uncle
hung that up on his wall
like it was one of those
yeah that's like
like
cringy emo
live laugh love sign
realize
realize
dude someone
I swear to god
there was someone
who said that
and then the person
who heard it
for the first time
went damn
damn
damn brother
I know
Realize
Realize
Realize
True
You know
When I was in
When we were in high school
Our poetry teacher
Gave us a book
Oh
And he said
Let me guess
Poetry book
It was a poetry book
It's called the
You're making this up
Rag
Bones
No
Oh that is what it was called
It was something like that
You're right
Like the workshop
Of the rags and bones
Or something like that
Yeah yeah yeah
Something rag bones
Whatever that
And the hearts
Or something like that
Either way
But in the beginning of it, he made us write that if we were ever going through anything, we'd look at the book and try to find answers in there.
Yeah, the answers to the universe.
And I was cleaning up my room, and I found the book.
Okay.
And I was looking through them, and I was reading poem after poem after poem after poem, and I was like, wow, these are all terrible.
There is not one answer to my tax problems.
There is not one answer to any problems in my life in this godforsaken book.
It's gone for a second.
You were going to say something.
I was going to say something.
You were going to say something.
But there's not one answer.
And so.
We need a new book.
We need a new book.
And I like poetry.
I like poetry too.
A good poem.
I was in that book.
A good poem.
You were not in this book.
I think I was in that book.
You were not in this.
This is like a published book of poems.
I was in it.
No, you were not.
I'm published.
You were not in this book.
I have been published.
No, but I like poetry, you know.
I'm just going to curse.
It's so weird.
It's like Pavlov's dog.
I know.
It's so weird.
You know, I never cursed in front of my parents.
Why is that?
Because I was never allowed to curse growing up.
So what would happen if you did curse?
I don't know.
I never did.
So how do you know you weren't allowed?
Because I never did it.
What does that mean?
And whenever we ever heard somebody curse, they'd go,
What a bitch child.
Yeah.
No, but it's weird because, like, this is not,
this is making me scared, and I'm still cursing out of, like, you know.
Fear.
Fear.
But when I'm in front of my parents, no shock, and still I don't curse at all.
So you're saying that.
But, again, I blame them in part for cursing so much now in my adult life
because I was never able to curse.
And so as soon as I, you know, entered the world, I was like.
Can't actually say it because I don't want to get shocked.
It's just dolphin noises.
oh god the dolphin noise is really hard to make i know some friends i could do it wait so do you
think that like they're do you think it's true that like the perception of the christian girl
that was like super super super strict parents like it's now you know yeah you can curse i know
i can curse but what was i gonna just insult this imaginary woman for no reason i was just like
this whole bag
I think it's true that
you know
whatever it may be
if you try your hardest to
shield your child
from it when they get out into
the real world they might not do
it or like it but they're going to at least
see what's going on you know
yeah it's like oh
that man cursed
and everyone laughed that's weird
curse words are
powerful
and i think and i'm not unpowerful and i think they are only only gonna be more and more prevalent
you know especially with the with like the death of cable television you know there is no there is
no like really good show anymore that doesn't curse at all because that's not how real life
works people curse because that's what happens dude did i tell you about the the parent from
one of our middle school friends i was in like eighth grade and i saw a parent from like one
of my friend's parents and i was just walking his dog on the park and uh i was talking to him and
then one of our other friends like fell over a bush or something i went what the fuck's that
kid doing and then he went and then he turned to me like put his hand on my chest he's like you
really shouldn't curse man i'm just like you're a fucking loser too i was like what's a fucking
nerd no yeah i don't know what's that about that's that's as soon as i was like yeah have a nice day
Like, get the fuck out of my face.
Like, what are you, like...
Yeah, I mean, I don't know.
Like I said, I'm all for cursing.
I think that cursing is,
especially a good place curse word,
especially if you don't curse a lot
and then you put a curse word
in a well-placed sentence,
it really makes an impact statement.
And I respect, you know, I respect, like...
Language is powerful.
I respect not cursing.
Like, if you don't want to curse, fine.
I'm not saying you have to curse.
But it felt really, like, really weird to me
to like who are you true like who are you to me who are you and then some words are like not as
impactful as other ones like the one i said earlier today what'd you say earlier today
like i forgot the c word people are people have a huge like oh you you could say the f word but
you can't say that one it's like it's all just sounds words well it's i guess you know it's it's
all just sounds you know how it goes that one's more popular in across the pond yeah they say
that all the time what what word i can't fucking no oh was that not high enough no it was it was
very high thank you i don't think we do i just i was just clenching for that one yeah you're like
you see r kelly released the album from prison didn't he like release the it was me album it's
called i admit it jesus and well it's like it's like the oj thing except oj didn't get caught
didn't OJ write a book right after
if I would have done it or if I did it
yeah he wrote a book I think it's called If I Did It
what a fucking asshole
I've actually been you know
OJ is still a very polarizing case
in the United States by the way
I was looking into it and I actually don't think
he did do it I think his son did it
I think his son did it as well
but it's so crazy because when I was growing up
I just always assumed
it was obviously OJ
not obvious enough to that jury
no
that's weird too
like the whole proceedings
of laws and courts
like oh this
if we release this
information to the jury
we would have him
dead to rights
but we just can't do it
it's so weird to me
we could
we could use
we could
I wish there was
another big
high profile
you know court case
that'd be cool
well there was the
Johnny Depp one
yeah but that was like
boring
that was boring
I mean you know
it's two megastars
you know
someone stepped on a bee
but I want something
that's like really
and also that one is like
Oh, the fucking Rittenhouse, dude.
That was a huge case.
Yeah, but that one was also...
What kind of case would please you?
I'm looking for celebrity murder.
That's what I want.
So, like, if Will Smith killed Chris Rock.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That'd be hard for him.
It wasn't clear-cut.
Like, that's what I'm looking for.
The thing is, like, all those cases that you mentioned before,
regardless of how they turned out,
I had my opinions about them.
I want one case that's really just, oh, it could go either way.
It could go either way.
I need somebody who will take a prison sentence for me.
You just got to save somebody's life or something, like a homeless man on the train or something.
Interesting.
Well, what's the most likely way for you to save someone's life?
Someone's going to jump in front of a train.
I've been very nervous about that recently.
Another new irrational fear is me being pushed onto the train tracks.
This one's not irrational because I keep seeing videos of people being pushed onto the train tracks.
Yeah, that one's mediumly irrational.
Well, it's because if you lived in the flatlands of Texas or something where there are no trains, then yeah, okay, that's a little.
Well, yeah, there's trains everywhere.
Where there are no trains.
There are trains everywhere.
Where there are no trains.
There are no trains in some town somewhere.
If you live there, that's an irrational fear.
In New York City, I mean, I feel like.
Well, no, yeah.
There's the bris on the tracks a lot.
But I just always stand with my back to a pole.
Me too.
So nobody can...
Me too.
But if they really want to, they can just grab you from the front and yuck you.
Not me.
Not you?
I'm a hard man to throw into the tracks.
I mean, I feel like you just got to tip your top a little bit and you just...
Tip my top?
Tip your top a little bit and you just go with the motion, perpetual motion machine.
You think you could throw me onto a train track?
Yeah.
No, you cannot.
I can throw you onto a train track, no problem.
No, I'm just going to drop to the floor.
You can't drag me onto a train track.
Bro, what is this lightning quick reaction time you have?
You have your stupid headphones on, I'm sure, unprepared for any attack.
No, I keep my AirPods in pass-through mode when I'm on a train, like any good Samaritan.
What does that mean?
It means I can hear through the music.
But you're still playing music.
Yes.
You're unprepared, not ready for me.
I don't care if you're hiding.
Also, when I'm in the subway, I am prepared.
I'm prepared to fight.
I don't care if you're hiding.
I'm ready to fight.
I don't care if you're hiding in front of your little pole.
If I wanted you on that train track, I will get you on that train track.
it'll take three seconds you'd have to come with you you maybe maybe maybe maybe if you also
killed yourself with me if you don't know how i'm feeling that day maybe we're both going down fine
if we're both going down then that's that's the only chance you don't that's the only chance you
don't think i could get you on the train track with you not knowing if i followed you to the
train station right now i could get you on the train track you can't yes i can you can't what
are you talking do you know how do you know how cautious i am on the train station what what is
On a platform?
I always stand two yellow lines away from the yellow line.
You stand two yellow lines away from the yellow line?
Yeah, always.
What is that?
Three feet?
I gotta get you a distance of maybe two meters?
No, I'm telling you, you are under...
One hard push will get you there.
First of all, my back is to the pole.
If you didn't see me coming, and I ran around the pole, grabbed you, and launched you, you're just going.
What are you talking about?
I grabbed you by the stupid shoulder.
By the shoulder.
And I got you.
And you were like this?
You're going.
Oh, yeah, right.
You were like two seconds.
All I have to do is literally just like Andy Ragdoll.
And you can't do anything to me.
You think that all this is happening.
Oh, my God.
This strange person is attacking me on the train.
That you go rag.
That's your idea?
That you're just going to go Ragdoll?
I'm not going to make it.
Also, by the way, not only do I, when I'm on the train, am I keeping my back towards the pole so nobody pushes me.
I'm looking out for any train pushers in general
because
alright vigilante
you won't see me coming
because if someone gets pushed on the train
I am going to help them
this is a more preposterous sentence
than the whole conversation right before
that's what I'm going to do
who are you helping?
I'm putting my hand down on the train tracks
and I'm lifting them up
and then you get pushed
that's when I'll push you
I'll push you right there
and if they're unconscious in a train track
I'm not going to go down there
I'm not going to go down there.
But I will help.
But you'll close your eyes.
No, but I will help the person that does go down there
because New Yorkers are nice.
Somebody's going to go into the train and help them,
try to lift them up out of the train tracks.
I mean, you just got to go under that little part also
if things are getting really spicy.
Also, now it's the minutes.
They show you how many minutes.
If the train is more than two minutes away, I'll go down there.
Two minutes?
Comes quick, dude.
I know.
You think that you are prepared to go pick up a full person
or help a full person get up on top of the tracks in two minutes?
This is, sometimes you've got to do the hard things.
What is the hard, die?
I'm going to do it.
I'm not going to let somebody die in front of me.
You just said you would a second ago.
If they happen to be unconscious.
No, I said I probably wouldn't go down in the train
because I don't know that I could get myself back up there.
So really, it's really dumb.
If you don't know that you can get yourself back up on top of the platform,
you shouldn't go down there
because you're only making more of a mess
than everybody else.
I mean, you might as well, like,
if there's one person going down or 10,
what's the difference?
The cleanup's probably better.
But if it's more than two minutes,
I'll go down and I'll figure my way out.
I either have to get up
or I have to get into the nook.
Well, I'm even talking about
maybe I have to get into the, you know,
where the mole people are.
What does that mean?
Is there a mole person entrance in every single...
You run down the train track, past the platform, into the darkness.
Your plan to escape a train if you fall in the tracks is to run in the train's path?
That's the plan?
What do you think, a mole person is going to grab you?
Because once you get, you know, there's a platform, and then there's like the two things on the sides.
And then once you go into the train tracks, there's a little side.
You ever see like a tunnel?
There's like a little...
Have I ever seen a tunnel?
There's like a little emergency exit on the tracks.
so you're gonna run on the tracks in pitch black uh-huh on not solid ground you that's if i if i
couldn't get up this is like the worst case this is like the worst day of my life yeah yes it is
and then worse comes to absolute worst i'll try to fit in the nook
this but that is that is not optimal it would just be screaming i would just good if i was there
i would just hear you screaming underneath underneath the platform in this little nook
Yeah, that's good.
Because if you're not screaming.
Yeah, I want people to see me screaming.
Yeah, if you're not screaming, then that's more of an answer.
Yeah, some people would probably lay down in the train.
I do not have the ability to do that.
Yeah, the stature.
I'm a little too rotund.
I'm a little too.
Yeah, that would be a really gruesome death.
Yeah, that wouldn't be great, getting dragged under the train.
Oh, I mean, I hope that it would just kind of like fucking decapitate me.
Oh, no!
Oh!
Curse you, Dan.
Well, that was a good convo.
Oh, we went on for way longer than I thought.
Okay.
You don't think...
Leave in the comments below
if you'd let me save you from a train.
I mean, if anybody said no...
And say no, and I won't.
How about that?
Say no, and just in case it ever came up,
I'll bring up the receipts.
Say who are you?
Who are you?
What's your name?
You said no.
