Starting point is 00:00:00 if no one clipped this if we are live and jazz is here and you clip this and that's a jazz it's gonna no it's gonna cause a problem i love jazz but how big is the growth is it perceptible to the human eye because otherwise it is yeah like one lie is perceptible i mean one if you're gonna if it's a cremation box i get it because you're literally buying it to burn it immediately you ready yeah all right spaghetti all righty all righty welcome back to the picky boys podcast we are here. We are here. We are currently here. We are currently here. But we also might currently be somewhere else at the same time. That's true. It is December 29th, which means that is two days after our sub-a-thon on December 27th started, which means we might still be live. Yeah, so if
Starting point is 00:00:47 we are still live, pause this, go to the sub-a-thon, say, hey, you guys are- No, no, no, no. Code word. Yeah, it's gotta be a code word. Oh, that's right. The code words. First of all, so we are learning from last time or are we saying like oh that would be crazy if we're still going because i don't want to i don't want to look dumb again we look very no i mean we we are still saying it'll be crazy if we're still going but yes okay we might still be going i don't know i don't know either we just it's impossible it would be scarier if this is day two and we look at the screen from this moment and the time is still like how is it four days that that that would be scary that would be scary but we could be done oh who knows we could be done true too and that's fine as well if we if we are
Starting point is 00:01:25 going what should the password be so now it feels even worse that if we're not going and now we give them a password no if we're not going in to get the password just comment it in the comments and say haha you're not live anymore it's not a password if you put it in the comments either way um jason what's the password yeah what's the password also i like the homage to the thank you the cardiothon also by the way if we are still live this isn't the patreon one this is the main twitch.tv slash thepickyboys get on twitch
Starting point is 00:01:53 see if we're still live come say hi and also say first thing that comes to your head umbrella fine I'm fine with it I'm fine with that I'm fine with it
Starting point is 00:02:01 umbrella that works I'm fine with it go to the twitch chat and say you don't like umbrella I feel like it was that last time what was the code word last time wasn't it
Starting point is 00:02:07 strawberry there was two there was a patreon one yeah yeah we'll film a patreon one if it's still going on by the patreon one that's crazy
Starting point is 00:02:15 yeah just come in and spam umbrella drop the umbrella emoji yeah that'll be your sign And don't tell anybody. Don't tell anyone. Don't tell anybody.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Don't ruin it. Definitely be something if we're still there. Also, I have some. This is the final. I don't think this is in effect anymore because it's after Christmas. So we all got to pay up here. I think this is my four. Oh, missed it.
Starting point is 00:02:39 I got five. All right, we're square. We're square. Is this over? Is this done with? This is what we're done with. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. You think he owes?
Starting point is 00:02:46 It's still on YouTube. You think he owes more than that, you're saying? Well, you did curse last episode. That's why we put in the money just now. Oh, you looked at the comments? Yeah, that's why we put in the money just now. What do you think? Should we count how much money Jason is going to get to buy us drinks?
Starting point is 00:03:01 Yeah, let's see. We'll talk about something while I count. Oh, I thought, we're going to have him count? Yeah, I don't trust this guy. Jason, what do you think? A bottle of Captain Morgan, and then you're going to splurge with the rest? Splurge. Splurge.
Starting point is 00:03:16 I wonder how much it is. This is also... I think it's like 40 bucks. You think so? Yeah. I think it's like 50. 50? It's probably close to 40.
Starting point is 00:03:25 40? It's probably close to 50. He has no idea. Also, counting out loud is not... I did a quick mental count. What'd you get? I counted 48 and a half. All right.
Starting point is 00:03:34 All right. Is this the most cash you've held in like 14 months? Oh, absolutely. Either way. Not the most singles I've held in 14 months, though. That's enough out of you. We finally get to curse again. We're cursing anyway.
Starting point is 00:03:52 We're just paying for it. I'm not even sure if it decreased the rate at which we cursed. It did, I think. It definitely did. Yeah, but each curse was more of an event now. It's like special. Whose dollar bill is this? Probably JT's.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Okay, so we got 35. Wait, you did all that? You weren't counting it while you were picking it up? No, he was just organizing it. Well, the dollar bills were all crumpled. You can't count a crumpled bill. You know why he had to do that? Remember what he was saying?
Starting point is 00:04:20 Have you ever folded up the bills and double-counted? 52, 87, 5, hut, hut, hike, blue, 42. He's already struggling so hard. 50 on the dot. Wow. JT. 50 on the dot. No, that's not JT.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Jason, come grab it on camera. You got to come on camera. Get over here. What are you buying with all these riches that you have to buy alcohol for? Yay. you're supposed to put it in his thong yeah show me the g-string oh he showed me his penis oh god no i'm kidding i'm kidding youtube god dang i didn't see you with a pair of binoculars what's going on
Starting point is 00:04:57 anyway how is it going less how how do you feel about the end of the year how do i feel about it i feel like it's still not very cold what do you think 2024 up down sideways thumbs up thumbs down in the in the world probably like that oh no that's that's on fire from the previous years in the world but for us like this yeah i would go thumbs up 2024 pretty good year for us like this i think yeah yeah for us for me like that maybe that's like more than good right what's this way yeah i mean you got to give yourself room to so you gotta do a little bit of that to go full at attention yeah because if you do this now next year it can only go down right yeah true the best thing you're rooting for is it to be exactly the same it can't be better
Starting point is 00:05:44 if it's already i'd give it like an 82 82 higher than most grades you've gotten it's a pretty good year b minus i don't know those things those things never made any sense that seems very that seemed that always seemed very elementary to me it's like we can we can we know numbers out of 100 well you know all schools i most schools did letters i think it's just not ours like whenever i said letters no i just didn't do not in high school this i mean they it equates numbers i mean yeah they the numbers have a range that it equates to but yeah the letters also equate to numbers like in reverse but it was all like very numbers range of numbers like most of my tests were on a hundred scale for sure yeah i never i was never given a single letter grade
Starting point is 00:06:25 no right you get the you get the the number grade and then you get the letter grade i never like That's what it equates to. Our report cards didn't think it would be 90, 92. It is simpler. And it was also specifically because our grade, our school had a higher failing number than most schools in the area. See, I know what you meant. Worded that.
Starting point is 00:06:45 You said a higher failing number? That sounds like more people failed. A higher threshold for a failing grade. Anything below 75 was failing. Yeah, most schools, I feel, are 65. 65, sometimes 70. Ours was 75. 65 is insane because it just means that you have to know a little more than half of the stuff you're supposed to know.
Starting point is 00:07:06 I don't want to insult anybody that didn't get 65s back there. It feels a little hard to do. You just need a slight majority of the knowledge. Yeah, but there's a difference. If you're just not doing anything and you're getting that, it's like, okay, that's all right. You're not doing it. What do you expect? If you're trying your damnedest and getting less than 65.
Starting point is 00:07:26 This is where, like, I don't know. I'm not jumping in that water. I'm not trying to make fun of you, but thank him. Everyone learns differently. And I mean, it's not. He's going to come in here. It's not always one-to-one of, oh, you know this knowledge, this is why you didn't get it, you know.
Starting point is 00:07:41 You don't know this knowledge. It's not always a one-to-one like that. Like in English class, for example, like an essay isn't necessarily about the knowledge you know. It's about your ability to like string it together and put out a coherent piece of work. Yeah, yeah. Each subject's different for sure.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Yeah, but like math, I agree. You just need to know 75% of the things, and you'll pass. Yeah. Which isn't easy to do. I think I know probably 7% of everything. This is how far removed I am from scholars. Did you know that— First of all, around three of them.
Starting point is 00:08:19 You can have higher than a 4.0 GPA? Yeah, but that's bullshit. But don't you have to be—not in every class. You have to be in like— To be in AP classes in high school, yeah. Advanced classes give you extra points somehow. Yeah. So it kind of doesn't count.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Because I was watching this, like, one of those YouTube channels, I don't know, Jubilee or Cut, and it was, like, people trying to rate each other blindly by how high they think their GPA is, and one girl had, like, a 5.1. That's so dumb. You're a nerd, first of all. Yeah, that's so dumb.
Starting point is 00:08:47 You're a nerd. Relax. I mean, what the, that's crazy. Can you tell? Well, she mentioned it. She was like, somebody said, oh, well, who, one of us probably has a 4.0
Starting point is 00:08:58 and she says well that actually wouldn't be the highest technically would have picked her immediately immediately that's what you knew
Starting point is 00:09:05 immediately would have picked her some of those are very interesting I would say those videos I'm obsessed with them honestly
Starting point is 00:09:13 I love them you explain them so if they've ever seen them you know what we're talking about the ones where they rate attractiveness
Starting point is 00:09:18 some of those those are great I love those I love those it's funny I actually can't stand watching that. I love them because I would have loved to be in there. I would love to because I feel like –
Starting point is 00:09:31 Would you be honest? Yeah. I feel like I'm good with it. I'd be like, this is a beautiful man. Get him over there. It's like, you know, you're four places back. I know where I am. I'm probably towards like the middle back.
Starting point is 00:09:40 I'm all right with that. But like I hate when they put – I just hate when they're fake nice, you know? I want someone in there to have some fun. That's when they grade themselves. I like the ones when they're grading. it's like one person or two people are grading 50 people like i watched one it was like try to tell who's a virgin or not and so it's just like 50 people in a row and you just like swipe left or right whether you think they're a virgin or not do that be so you'd be good at that no how do you
Starting point is 00:10:08 tell that it'd be so funny though you could kind of tell a little bit i guess so but it'd be so funny for like somebody walking up like no no there was one that was like natty or not so it is people ranking a group of strangers if they think they've ever done steroids. And some of the guys who did steroids got ranked as natural, and that would suck, dude. You did the steroids with all the health implications
Starting point is 00:10:32 and stuff to come with that just to look like you didn't do steroids anyway. That sucks, but the guys who didn't do it and got called would be like, yeah, hell no. Oh, the biggest compliment, right? Hell yeah. Okay, interesting, because I would have thought that's like a...
Starting point is 00:10:43 So it's not like plastic surgery, you know? No, opposite, actually. Like plastic surgery, you want the surgery to look like there is no surgery. No, steroids is – you want – you do want to look natural, right? You want it to – but you want to – like a lot of it's – sometimes it's taboo. Sometimes it's not. It depends on the person to be fair, right? Sometimes people take it and they go, no, no, I'm natural, right?
Starting point is 00:11:03 So there is like – there's a line of taboo. That's like a pride thing. So if you're a natural lifter and you get accused of being on steroids, that's like the biggest compliment. Yeah. So if that – That makes sense to me. So if that way is the biggest compliment, the other way has to at least be somewhat of a not compliment. I've just heard of a lot of people who try to defend themselves and say, like, oh, no, I am natural.
Starting point is 00:11:23 And everybody's like, no, you definitely took steroids. Yeah. But those are the closeted steroid users, I guess. That's a different – that's like a pride thing because those people think that if I say I'm on steroids, everyone's going to think, oh, he didn't work hard for these muscles. He didn't do – he didn't, like, earn it. He just did steroids and, boom, blew up. Yeah. So they feel like it's like kind of taking away from their actual hard work they did.
Starting point is 00:11:46 And I would be kind of pissed depending on who the producers put me with. I was like, if I was with four Matthew McConaughey's, I'd be like, come on, guys. What are we doing here? Like, why am I in here? You know? You got to pick them right as well. Is there a, if you were given to 50 people, is there like one topic you think you could nail? Oh, I probably should have thought about this question earlier.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Because you don't have an answer. It's hard. I don't like, what is that? For most of them. I don't judge books by their cover. You can ask them one question, basically. It'd probably be easier if they've ever done a specific thing. I don't mean sex.
Starting point is 00:12:21 I mean something a little more obscure, probably. What about how they've ever been in jail? How you haven't been? How would I know? I don't know. Anything someone said to me, I'd be like, oh, that sounds right. It's hard. No, I meant more something I know, like playing Mario Kart or something.
Starting point is 00:12:35 And then you ask a specific question or something like that. That's basically the same as, are you a virgin or not? It's a two-for-one whammy. You know what? Jason, what do you got? Jason, Jason, what do you got? I mean, listen, I'm wearing the jacket. What the hell does that have to do with anything?
Starting point is 00:12:55 I'm not punching down. I am one of you. He did a whole thon. A virgin-a-thon, apparently. The only one who got fucked there was Chaz and Martin. Why? You mean they caught a stray, a virgin stray. Because they got third and fourth?
Starting point is 00:13:10 Yeah, because they're losers. at the bottom. So they're the least virginic. Really, it's just Chaz. Why is Chaz catching these strings? He's out of the podium, baby. No one clipped this. If we are live and Chaz is here
Starting point is 00:13:21 and you clip this and that to Chaz, it's going to cause a problem. No, no, no. It's going to cause a problem. I love Chaz. No one said you did. That's worse. That made it way worse.
Starting point is 00:13:28 I love Chaz, but, you know, he's... The Mario Kart skills are not... You're going to make us have to play 100 races of Mario Kart on stream right now. Or more. You know we're playing 100 games of Mario Kart anyway. No, I meant, like, more because of you.
Starting point is 00:13:46 I thought we were doing a New Year recap. No, that's more like next month. Doing that for Patreon. Yeah, it's more like next month. Oh. Also, you know what, Jason? Good point. On our Patreon, I think it comes out January 2nd,
Starting point is 00:13:57 patreon.com slash pickyboys, we're doing a whole picky year review draft. All the highlights, we're going to talk about them, and we're going to draft the best moments and see who comes up with the best list. Yeah. And if you sign up to the Patreon, it adds time to our stream
Starting point is 00:14:10 if we're still live so you can literally add time to our stream so if you want to get in there you want to see the extra content you want to see that episode and you want to watch the stream longer
Starting point is 00:14:19 just get in there patreon.com hell yeah I think I'm going to win that one though alright so this is something Danny submitted oh look at you
Starting point is 00:14:27 big dog me too I saw it on Twitter it said r slash it's basically just going through some of the craziest posts on r slash frugal
Starting point is 00:14:36 which you know is typically supposed to be It's just people trying to save money. Are you frugal? Why couldn't you hold my hand? Me? Yeah, what's your most frugal hobby? What is the opposite of frugal?
Starting point is 00:14:49 Gruffle? I am gruffle. You just switched the letters. Lagerffle? Lagerffle? Lagerffle. No, I'm not frugal at all. Do you do anything that people would be like,
Starting point is 00:15:00 oh, that's pretty frugal? His carafts. His carafts and tap water that he doesn't wash. um not really i mean there's something you do that's frugal right coupon king over here no no not like that no he doesn't have to he wouldn't even do that what about like uber eats deals kind of right you don't you don't you don't order food unless you have a deal i definitely game the system that way there you go but that's but that is like just making something that is way too expensive a little bit less expensive anybody who is actually frugal uber eats is like torture
Starting point is 00:15:35 That might make them crash out I think the only thing I do that's frugal Really is One of the only things would be I refuse to get a new phone until this one is Broken into the ground I do that too Don't worry, everyone who watches your Instagram story knows that
Starting point is 00:15:51 What about you, are you frugal? I don't think so I like things fixed too fast You know what I mean Maybe a couple House repairs, maybe you know like there's a try to do yourself yeah yeah yeah because people i call usually make it worse anyway but there's a there's some tile from the moisture in my bathroom that fell out now it's
Starting point is 00:16:14 just like there's just no tile there i'm like you know what that's kind of nice you know i convince myself you know i don't care enough i don't even know if that counts also the people we're about to talk about way more intense than what we're saying oh actually you know i if if something works even if it's not ideal i will make it work for as long as possible like for example right now my laptop charging cord is three feet long because i accidentally no it's less it's way less it's a foot less than three it's a way it's a it's a foot and a half because i accidentally bought the wrong one the wrong one but it still works to charge my laptop and so i just have to be near an outlet every time i use the computer it is can you just use an extension cord yes you can
Starting point is 00:16:57 oh yeah i don't have that either so so so so literally like i if i'm he didn't even think if i am working i'll either be laying on my bed right next to the outlet or i'll be on the couch outside right next to an outlet on top of that first of all you got to take that that charge in the back and shoot it dead because not not only it works fine not only is the wire a foot and a half not the correct wire that was supposed to go with the thing in the first place you can't convince me well i'm not buying i'm not buying a fucking mac wire it's like a billion dollars this is all fine and the brick does like a little like leg kicks because because it's broken and not attached he has to bring down one prong at a time to stick it in and hope it goes in the brick is
Starting point is 00:17:41 the brick is damaged a little bit it's like i can't believe it it charges so in that way i guess i'm frugal but i'm i'm really just getting all the juice out of the lemon you know how'd you do that I got the juice out of that lemon, baby. I got the juice out of the lemon. All right, let's see how these match up against the Twitter people. How we compare. All right, so this one, we're using birthday cake candles. What are you adding?
Starting point is 00:18:07 The craziest part is one weird trick that Big Candle doesn't want you to know about to save you $4 a year. My husband's birthday is yesterday, so naturally when it was time to present the cake, I go for the junk drawer, dive in, and find a couple stray birthday candles to light up. As he blew them out, I realized what a tiny but frugal move it was to reuse birthday candles every single birthday. See, reuse birthday candles. What does that mean exactly? Is it? They're not the numbered ones.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Right. I know. But what does that mean? It's, oh, I bought a pack of blue ones for Billy, but really I'm using, like, what I'm saying is, are they half melted? You know? That's what I'm saying. See, here's my thing. And I got to be honest, I don't hate this one.
Starting point is 00:18:49 I don't hate this one because they're not half melted. You light birthday candles for like all of what, 40 seconds and someone blows them out. Those are perfectly good to use again and no one would know, I think. I'll take it one step further. Just don't use candles. Like, just don't. I'll take it one. That's fair.
Starting point is 00:19:07 I'll save you more than $4 a year, whatever your name is. Don't use candles. That is interesting. Here we go. One year ago today, I made this cremation casket with my dad passed shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. The cheapest cremation box shown was $850 Canadian dollars, and I made this one for $120.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Don't let funeral homes hit you when you're grieving. Jesus. Honestly, fair, but also... Someone needs to check in on this person. The fact that he called it a win, too, is pretty funny. Frugal win. This seems like the culmination of mental illness and a horrible traumatic event at the same time
Starting point is 00:19:49 caused this person to hyper-fixate on frugalness and this is the result. And very good craftsmanship. You got to give them something. Oh, yeah, for sure. I mean, no one's down in that part. That's a good box. I wonder if that's the first time.
Starting point is 00:20:00 Well, first of all, if it was me, I'm not a carpenter. So I don't know. I would just say, do you even need a box? Can't you just fucking throw them in there? I'm assuming you need something. Second thing, I wonder if this is the funeral home's first soiree with someone like this. Or if there's a lot of
Starting point is 00:20:17 BYOB people. BYOB. They deal with BYOB all the time. I believe that they've definitely had someone say, how much is that box? I can make the box. And they leave. And this guy took it literally. I think a lot of
Starting point is 00:20:33 people do buy the coffin years ago or buy it somewhere else. So I think the funeral home is used to that. Not to people making their own, but bringing from another place it's like we got a good guy for boxes like don't worry i'll bring my own it's like what does that mean i mean one if you're gonna if it's a cremation box i get it because you're literally buying it to burn it immediately yeah like if it's the one you put in the ground then you know
Starting point is 00:20:56 maybe yeah but you get a nice varnish on it or something i get what you're saying i saw one you know like the 90 day fiance stuff what is that tbs what you know that channel like 90 tlc tlc yeah learning channel i thought it was 10 11 care no that's that's also tlc oh gotcha so but either way the there's a show that's on it it's something like like it's i think it's called cheapskate it's a little ruder but i saw i saw somebody who to save money on their water put bricks in their uh toilet water tank and i actually thought that was a kind of good idea and his his mindset was you don't really need all that water to flush whatever's in there so when you add the volume it fills it up with less water yeah and flushes the same i actually thought that was like
Starting point is 00:21:39 You know what? If someone opened up the thing and saw a brick, like, what's that? But I get it, sort of. Yeah. Yeah. Again, the problem is that you're saving, like, per flush, you're saving what? Maybe, like, less than a penny? Water's cheap, man.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Water. It depends where you are, I guess. But I didn't do that math. I didn't do that conversion. But it's not that. You know, you do that, and then you do a little bit of this. And eventually, you get it up. Your whole household's saving two pennies a flush or something somehow.
Starting point is 00:22:04 You know what I mean? The one I saw that started this whole thing for me was one that said that when you're driving alone, so not during rush hour traffic or anything because that's irresponsible, but when you're driving alone, you shouldn't use your blinker because the light that your blinker uses only has so many blinks in it before you need to get it replaced. That's crazy. That's insane. How many blinks does it have? Probably a few thousand, maybe more than 10,000. Way more than a few thousand. Dude, and the thing about that one is you definitely, I mean, the amount of time it would take you to save up, let's say, $60 doing that might be millennium.
Starting point is 00:22:45 And you are certainly going to get a ticket for not using the liquor for $60 before that. I'm trying to remember what my dad did. My dad was like, he's very frugal in very specific points, and I'm trying to remember something my dad did. And I think my dad, no matter what, would exclusively shower in the dark or something. He was a big turn-off-the-lights electric guy. Yeah. And, like, exclusively, I just remember, if any time the light can be off, it would be off. I'm like, dude, I can't have you slipping in the shower.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Just turn on the light. It's like, I don't want to come in here and have to carry your naked, bloody body because you slipped in the shower. And then you get a medical bill and a lot of these frugal things. And the whole time, I'd be like, do you really want the scenario where you saved $0.04, and on the ride in the ambulance, I have to go, yeah, this ambulance ride really worth $0.04, wasn't it? Like, do you really want this? $3,000 ambulance ride. Do you want this scenario? It's like, fine, I'll turn on the light, but I'll get a dimmer.
Starting point is 00:23:40 This is one I found on Reddit. Somebody bought 1,800 pounds of shampoo. What does that mean? Yeah, I don't know. But how is this frugal? I guess they think, oh, wow, I'm buying in bulk. I guess you had a price per unit. is way less.
Starting point is 00:23:58 He's locked in at this price. They definitely did the math of will I spend this much? But now you have to store and like transport this potentially if you move. No, I picture there being
Starting point is 00:24:07 a soap cup in the shower. You just open the vat and you go and then you just put it in a soap cup. Doesn't look like very appealing soap to me. I'll give it a mad.
Starting point is 00:24:14 No, it looks like actually caramel a little bit. I would like a white or maybe a bluish or something. I need some color that's not brown. Also, why is the
Starting point is 00:24:22 barrel it's in like half ripped apart? Where did they get this? This is a store right here. I bought a storage unit at an auction and ended up having almost a ton of shampoo in it, literally. Oh, this guy bought this accidentally. Even seems to be bubblegum scented.
Starting point is 00:24:40 That's disgusting. Is he sure it's shampoo? First of all, I've never seen a bubblegum scented one. I've never seen one that color. I don't know if this is shampoo. What if this is some kind of bubblegum resin, like some byproduct of making bubblegum? Wait, wait, wait, look at this.
Starting point is 00:24:55 It turns out the previous owner of the unit is actually a multi-millionaire. Now, through the business, they own body care products. And that's what it was. So they just had access. Dude, can we do a video where we go and buy random storage units? That would be so fun. That would be so good.
Starting point is 00:25:11 Yes, it would. Look at what shampoo we could get. What are you doing with that shampoo? Number one. Two. It's going all over my body. What do you mean? What are you going to drink it?
Starting point is 00:25:18 Oh, that makes sense. Half the time, it's like dust, a carpet, and emptiness. Like half the time. Have you ever opened loot crates, bro? that's the fun of it. It is kind of like a Loot Crate. It's exactly like a Loot Crate. Do you ever put shampoo on your body, by the way?
Starting point is 00:25:33 Yes. Sometimes I put it on my little chest hair just to make sure it's still soft. I don't know. You've got to wash your hair, right? I'm with whatever JT's about to say. No, you're not. People hate this, but my stuff's always a five-in-one.
Starting point is 00:25:50 It's always a shampoo, a conditioner, a body wash, toothpaste, and bathroom cleaner in one that I just go, here we go, all over my body, and I'm good. I was fine with the three in one, maybe. The last two, I don't think I needed. But yeah, for sure. I mean, only in, like, I guess...
Starting point is 00:26:07 No, I use one for everything, pretty much. Yeah. Pretty much. Fucking straighties over here. Is that a slur? I use half shampoo, half one shampoo, He said he doesn't do it. Be careful who you're tossing slurs at.
Starting point is 00:26:22 That's true. Yeah. Careful out there. JT's a freak, honestly. He washes his hands and the head and shoulders. He puts it all over his body. It's not head and shoulders. Oh, it used to be. What do you mean? He used to just bathe
Starting point is 00:26:34 in head and shoulders. I have head and shoulders. He's like, it says shoulders, so that means feet and ass. That's true. The fact that it just says head and shoulders is a little concerning once it goes below the armpits, I suppose. Well, it's head and shoulders because they're saying, oh, you're not going to get all this dandruff
Starting point is 00:26:52 on your shoulders. Oh, no, I mean, we know exactly what it's called. It's a joke here, but like, and I'm not saying it's for your shoulders, but either way,
Starting point is 00:26:59 it's like... Might be. I use Head and Shoulders down in winter, a little dry scalp action. It smells awful. I use the powerful one. You always said that
Starting point is 00:27:10 it makes your dandruff worse. I said Selsun Blue does that. Selsun Blue did that to me too. Selsun Blue is supposed to be the main one. Head and Shoulders is good. Selsun Blue is supposed to be the main one, right?
Starting point is 00:27:19 Kind of? Yeah. The all-powerful no dandruff. The all-powerful. The all-powerful no dandruff. But then I did it immediately worse. I don't know why. Maybe I had to go through like a skin snake shedding phase.
Starting point is 00:27:33 I was just too self-conscious in high school to get past that because I was like a snow globe. Is it a puberty thing? How come none of us have dandruff anymore? I have dandruff still. Oh, you do? In the winter, I do. I use head and shoulders so much that it's just I'm beating that thing down with a pipe. Wait, do bald people get dandruff?
Starting point is 00:27:49 For sure. I think you got to take care of it. I think it's easier to take care of it because you could just lotion that shit up, you know? So does it just fall off, though? Like, I feel like it's not trapped inside. Well, it's because your hair is flaky, right? And we can't...
Starting point is 00:28:00 No, your scalp is flaky. The scalp, yes. But we can't properly get to the scalp because of all the hair. I feel like a bald person can... It's a little easier to take care of it. Yeah, I feel like they have to moisturize. Oh, yes, they can.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Caused by an overgrowth of a yeast-like fungus. It comes from mushrooms? Is that what yeast is? Yeast is mushrooms? Well, fungus is mushrooms. Yeah. Oh. Yeah, yeast is actually fungus, so yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:21 But I mean, I don't think... Well, not all fungus is mushrooms. Yeah, I'm just calling it that. So not all... Oh. You got little mushrooms growing on your head. You know that mushrooms are closer to humans than they are to plants? For fungus.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Fungus is like in the tree of life and everything. Fungus is more closely related to animals and humans than... It's not related to plants at all. It's a totally different thing. It also is the biggest organism on Earth, right? Yeah, I'm going to say that obviously they're closer to plants. They're not. An evolutionary tree where human and plant life split off, fungus splits off later.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Not going to fact check it. It grows in poop. Dude, that's true. And dude, they're weird, man. They have neural networks in the mushrooms and stuff. They're magic. They're aliens. It is kind of like magic.
Starting point is 00:29:15 It's magic. And it's scary. But either way. And you can grow them in a pack of rice. But you have to poop in the rice? No. That would probably help. Wait, now I'm confused.
Starting point is 00:29:24 I thought they grow in poop. Some of them do. The edible ones grow in poop. The ones that make you trip poop. Oh, that's poop. Yeah. The edible ones, you can get a pack of rice and a little mushroom starter, and you inject it into the rice, and then it starts to grow inside the bag of rice.
Starting point is 00:29:40 You see, why not just go buy mushrooms? And why ruin your rice? Because also... Yeah, now you're ruining rice and bad mushrooms. If you go to basically any regular supermarket, terrible mushroom selection. You get portobello mushrooms. Basically, that's it. Yeah, dude, you don't trip at all.
Starting point is 00:29:57 No, I'm not asking this. I'm not asking this. I had fucking an eighth. I had a quarter. JT had a pound of portobellos, not a single trip. He's a tummy ache. I'm not asking a trip, but there are a plethora of mushrooms that you can eat that are really good. This guy doesn't want to trip yet.
Starting point is 00:30:12 He's trying to eat 400 pounds of portobello mushrooms. They're a lion's mane mushroom. It's somewhat steaky. Is that the one where you see the elves? It is not steak-y. It's somewhat steak-y. I've never had it. I just know it's not.
Starting point is 00:30:22 And these vegans, I'm sick of these vegans. They're like, it's just like chicken. No, it's not. It's somewhat meat-y. It really is. In texture, it is. Like, if I did like a pull, well, not meat. If some chef did like a pulled mushroom, like taco, you'd be like, is this pulled, some kind of pulled meat?
Starting point is 00:30:41 I swear to God. No, I would not. I absolutely would not. I swear to God. You know what I would go? I would go, this is really good. This isn't meat, but this is really good. What is it?
Starting point is 00:30:50 That's what I would say. But it's close enough to know why people say it. No, no, that one's way worse. That looks like a mushroom. You've got to go to one of those at the bottom there or one that looks like steak to the right. See, it's lion's mane. This is exactly what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:31:02 That looks like steak. It definitely looks, yes. But then when you bite into it, it's like... Oh, and a taco, just like I said. Danny, that's why we... Wait, no, that's over... Oh, like a mashed potato. Mashed potatoes.
Starting point is 00:31:11 It's not a taco. It's not a taco at all. It's not a taco. It does look like a taco. It looks like a delicious taco. But I feel like I put that in my mouth, and I go, mm, okay, not steak. Definitely tastes like a mushroom.
Starting point is 00:31:23 You know what I mean? Like, calling it Lion's Mane steak, you're just kind of being an ass a little bit. Can you get Lion's Mane at the grocery store, or not really? You'd have to go to, like, a Whole Foods or a farmer's market or something. Didn't you hear them? Those selections around here are god-awful. Well, I wasn't sure about Lion's Mane.
Starting point is 00:31:39 Any of you see town or shop and shop, you're only getting fucking portobello mushrooms, It was some basic-ass bitch mushrooms. And it didn't even get JT high. Have you had lion's mane? Oh, yeah. They're delicious. I took them as pills.
Starting point is 00:31:49 I got convinced by a podcast that they're really good for you and prevent Alzheimer's. Oh, yeah. I've heard that, too. I don't have it yet. You'll only know in the future, maybe. Yeah. Or you don't get it. Maybe it did work.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Yeah. All right, Jason, ask us a question. We'll end on a question. All right. So 200K per year, but each time you lie, your nose grows like Pinocchio. Oh, geez. so 200 200 000 200 000 per year and each day your nose grows like pinocchio whenever you lie and a lie is defined as an assertion of something known or believed by the speaker to be untrue
Starting point is 00:32:29 with intent to deceive so danny could just keep talking like normally because he never really intends to deceive he just has bad facts like if i like if i said oh didn't you hear that so that so-and-so broke his leg, but he didn't, I'd be like, oh, I thought I heard that. Is that a lie? No. Because it would have to be like, I know he didn't. I said he did.
Starting point is 00:32:49 You're not lying if you're just wrong. Oh, God. Take the deal. Take the deal. So what about if... What if I say, oh, this will be done by the end of the day, and I'm like 80% sure it's really going to take until tomorrow, but it could be done.
Starting point is 00:33:05 I might get it done. 80% is way too high. That's a lie. So that's a lie. 80% is way too high. 50%. It has to be 49%. I feel like even if it's 49%, you're still kind of lying.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Yeah, but not— I think it's all a lie. I think every—I think, like, there's so many micro-lies in day-to-day life. No, I agree, but that's why I think those shouldn't count. Like, let's say I bought you a slice of pizza, and it was $4.98, and I said, oh, it was $5. Like, it was around, like— Yeah. That's—my nose grows because of that now?
Starting point is 00:33:32 Good question. That's just round—that's just rounding. See, he—he— Rounding is technically lying. You see what he does? He's like, anything that's a lie, he can make it where it's like, well, no, actually, I really, really wasn't. Because a lie is, like, such a harsh word. Like, lying to me is just different than rounding up or down.
Starting point is 00:33:50 No, I know. That's why I'm trying to define it. I don't know. Lying is a spectrum, Danny. Lying is a spectrum. I wouldn't consider it a lie. Wait, does it go away every year, or is it just it continues to grow and stays that way? Oh, goodness.
Starting point is 00:34:02 Because the main problem here is that at some point, I'm going to lie a few times. and once my nose starts to grow, I think someone will be on to me and once this secret gets out, it's over because then anybody can just ask you a question and you have to tell the truth. Oh, after every 24-hour period,
Starting point is 00:34:20 your nose resets to its normal size. Oh, taking it. Taking it. Yeah, I don't want it. But wait, wait. How big is the growth? Is it perceptible to the human eye? Because otherwise, it is?
Starting point is 00:34:30 Like one lie is perceptible. So there is no lying anymore. No, it's three inches longer. Every lie is what it says. Oh, holy. Also, we were arguing for no reason. If you say something objectively false, your nose will immediately grow three inches longer. All right, so you have to say 498.
Starting point is 00:34:47 Yeah, so you can't lie at all. So, no, it's not just lying. Bro, if you remember it as 499 and it was 498 and you say 499, that's objectively false. You know what's funny? Oh, your nose can go to a maximum of two feet per day. That's good. Oh, that's fine. I'd just be the long-nosed rich guy.
Starting point is 00:35:04 But either way. I feel like you're prone to injury if your nose is two feet long. Oh, no. That thing will snap, right? Once the nose gets past nine inches, I'm staying home for the rest of the day. I hope it rounds out like Pinocchio. I don't want just a big two-feet nose that's like a triangle, you know? Like Pokemon?
Starting point is 00:35:21 Yeah. I just want kind of like a dowel coming off my nose. I get you. That makes sense. I think it's cool. It's almost like a superpower. Because if everything you say has to be true, no matter what, But if you forget something, you can kind of just keep saying things until your nose doesn't grow.
Starting point is 00:35:38 It's like, oh, that was it. That was it. You know what I mean? But then you hit the maximum of two feet and you're like, fuck, I have to try again tomorrow. That's a risk I'll take. Also, for 200K, you said, I'll take that. And this would mean that even like throwing a surprise party, right, that would be a lie or the events leading up to it. Oh, what are we doing tonight?
Starting point is 00:35:54 Oh, nothing. It's a lie. It's a lie. It's a lie. That's a lie. I'm not saying it's not a lie. He's trying to say it's not a lie. No, I'm not saying it's not a lie.
Starting point is 00:36:02 But first of all, that's a lie for good, which is great. But besides that, you could definitely say, oh, we're definitely doing something. Even now I'm on to you. And then what if I say, well, what does that mean? And you go, I don't know. No, I wouldn't say I don't know. I would say, well, I'm going somewhere after this interaction. It's so obvious you're surprise partying me now.
Starting point is 00:36:22 It's my birthday. It's your birthday? What am I at the party for? First of all, who throws a surprise party on the person's birthday? It's around the birthday. See, here we go. So now there's some things where I can wiggle my little nose out of there. The jig's up.
Starting point is 00:36:35 There's no jig. There's no up. The jig's up. I'm telling you. I'm taking this deal either way. Why did you decrease it, by the way, to $200,000? He said that. No, I'm taking it.
Starting point is 00:36:44 I'm taking it. I'm taking it. I'm taking it. Danny's taking it. Wow. Also, every year, I would just be Pinocchio for Halloween. Yeah. I'm Pinocchio again.
Starting point is 00:36:52 And then 24 hours, you're good. That's a great prosthetic. Yeah. It would look very real because it would be. I mean everyone would know you're the guy who's your ponokio man yeah everyone would know I wonder if it would make my breathing better
Starting point is 00:37:05 like if I'm about to go for a run I just tell a couple lies oh I mean this is exactly what I'm saying the nostrils aren't two feet long that's horrifying how could they not be if that's the case I'm not doing this why because that's just grotesque
Starting point is 00:37:21 I don't want yeah I know but if I ever do that's just like ugh Does it hurt when it stretches? It has to hurt a little bit, right? Some growing pains? I think there was like, I would definitely like at the end of the night before the reset lie a couple of times and see how it looks in the mirror.
Starting point is 00:37:41 You get what is three inches, three inches longer. You have maximum of two feet, eight lies a day. That's not, that's like kind of little. That's kind of a low lie count. It's just, the only reason it's a low lie count, because of the no rounding, the misremembering. It'd be like 12 lies a day, no? Or like 11, I guess, if your nose is already two inches. How many inches was the growth?
Starting point is 00:38:11 No, I think it's two extra feet, I think. Oh, it was three inches of growth. Oh, I thought it was two. No, no, no, no. Three inches of growth, maximum of two feet. If my math is right, that's eight lies. Look, I'm doing it. Every September 24 hours, I'll just be a...
Starting point is 00:38:26 Yeah, that's fine. Or I just won't talk. I just won't talk. Nah, you can't do that. I don't like how Jason lowered our salary, though. What happened to the last guy? Seriously. He had to lower his salary?
Starting point is 00:38:35 The other guy didn't say double it, give it to the next person. The other guy said half it, give it to the next person. All right, either way. Wait, so even if you're, hold on. If I pay $4.50 for something, and then somebody says, how much do you owe me? And I say, $4. I'm saving them money.
Starting point is 00:38:50 That's a lie? Yeah. That's stupid. I mean, there's good lies, bad lies. It's still a lie. They are good lies. I agree. I would appreciate you saving me that 50 cents,
Starting point is 00:39:01 but I'll tell you who wouldn't, the magical genie that's going to stretch your nose. I know. Yeah. All right. JT, don't lie and tell them where to find you. You can find me on Instagram at J... Oh, no, the Jballs.
Starting point is 00:39:14 I'm going back to the last username. Oh, he lied. Turn your head. Turn your head. Turn your head. Jason, grow his nose. Jason, grow his nose three inches. It hurts a little bit.
Starting point is 00:39:23 You can do it. It's not that hard. You got it. He's not doing that. Okay, you can find me at DannyIsNotWatching on Instagram. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I got it, I got it. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:39:34 You got it. DannyIsWatching on Instagram. You can find me at Ann Prisco. I don't want to give him. He's already not going to do it the first time, maybe twice. He's not going to do it three times. Or maybe, you know what? He isn't going to do it.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Now I don't know where my nose is going to go. Because if he does do it, my nose has to grow. So even if he doesn't do yours, now he has to do mine. this is how you want to end the year oh yeah oh shit oh shit all right um oh i thought that was gonna be the end i love you
