it happened oh like you know like i do a lot of these things and all of a sudden now we're like
in the olympic you're olympian like we made it through so you know what i'm gonna cut you off
there i hate people that do that that's a real loser thing to do by the way okay
uh welcome back to the picky boys podcast welcome welcome welcome welcome welcome
Do you know anybody with a lazy eye?
No, but...
It's always very obvious, right?
I feel like lazy eye...
You know, lazy eye could...
You could have a sneaky lazy eye.
Oh, for sure.
People, like...
There have been times where you're talking to someone at a bar,
and I think it's the glasses.
Usually people with glasses could hide it well.
I think it focuses it through.
I don't think so.
Because, like, are you talking to someone...
Are you saying people with glasses can hide it well?
Yeah, because I don't know if it's something with, like,
the glasses that kind of focuses the wandering floating eye but there have been times where
you talk to someone at a bar and they take off their glasses like like uh prescription glasses
and then it's like oh i don't know which one to look at anymore who's who who has ever taken off
their prescription glasses in front of you i don't know like for what reason well no because what i
do now is because i'm afraid that people have a lazy eye is i'll take my drink and go and then
and then they have to take them off i'm like i don't know you tried to catch me but i caught you
buddy yeah i mean i didn't know i don't think glasses have an effect on it i don't know is
that something you're born with or does it happen i think it's both both it can happen like you get
knocked in the head too hard or something you loosen up some joints i don't know if that's
what happens but yeah it's both something like that you know i i didn't know i didn't know that
sea glass was just glass yeah well i mean glass is made from sand right no
what what well yes yeah but that's not what it is oh sea glass is just broken bottles
oh and they've like and because because they're in the ocean yeah you know what a tumbler is
yeah yeah what is it so literally it tumbles and like kind of sands yeah yeah yeah it has like sand
like a bingo thing and like you know coarse stuff and then it just kind of like tumbles for days
side note you know what i'm gonna cut you off there i hate people that do that that was a real
loser thing to do by the way that was a real loser like you say something and the person goes yeah
continue and you go what does it mean like testing me testing me on this because because i thought i
thought you were gonna say like uh it's those cups that white women carry around you know like
the yeti tumblr and that is exactly what i thought you were gonna say and that is also a tumblr and
Again, loser for that.
Big loser for that.
Listen, man.
I hate people that are like, why don't you just do this next time you do it?
Actually, what is it?
Why don't you do that too, buddy?
Continue what you goddamn story.
You're right.
I was trying to get you.
Yeah, I know.
And then, you know, double back.
All right.
But so the Tumblr is replicating, you know, what sand and tides do.
and so they will so it's literally just glass like broken bottles and broken jars um and it gets it
gets it's it's it's it's rough f rough edges get polished away it becomes beautiful sea glass
so there are whole sea glass beaches somewhere or is it just like no no no if there's a whole
sea glass beach that would be pretty dangerous because just be it's glass i thought it's like
If that means it would become just a rock beach at that point.
Like, why isn't a rock beach dangerous?
Rock beach could have sharp edges.
Well, what I'm saying is that sea glass is very abundant, but it's literally just pollution.
Did you see that video of the carnival ride that lost its hinges and went crazy?
That was crazy.
Dude, it's like, you know what?
I don't know if I'll put the video up because it's kind of long.
But also people, when it was kind of almost tipping, they jumped like 20 people jumped on it to try to weigh it down.
It's like, you know, you guys know those like boat rides or like the drop ride?
I don't know.
How do you explain that ride?
It doesn't spin around.
It's just a ride where it just like swings like a pendulum.
And in the middle, there's like little cars and they turn around.
Yeah.
The whole thing turns and swings.
It's like a kid's ride.
It's like a carnival ride.
But those carnival rides, like, I mean, they're just set up, like, they're set up in, like, an hour.
Yeah.
And you think...
All of them look like saw traps.
They all do look like saw traps.
And this thing, I guess, lost whatever was anchoring it to the ground, and it was, like, tipping this way with people on it still.
And, you know, you can't catch me on one of those things anyway.
Yeah.
You can't catch me on one of those things.
No way.
Also, you know the swings, the things, they bring you up and then they just start hyper-swinging you and it looks like you're on a freaking bunch of paper clips tied to a freaking seat.
Won't catch me on any of those.
I am terrified of that.
The words portable and roller coaster should not be mixed together.
Like, I only trust, you know, roller coasters that cannot be moved.
That can't be moved, that are stationary.
Yeah.
I mean, even Kingda Ka, isn't it possible that you don't make it all the way over?
Yeah, but that's just like...
I feel like that's just a weird thing.
It's the same shit in the other way around.
I feel like there's a weird thing to design in general where it's like, oh yeah, we're
going to really test the limits here where you might not make it over the loop.
It's like, what is the plan?
Well, it's actually like, I think it's safer that way.
So you don't force the people out there?
Because the whole point of a roller coaster is that, aside from the, well, specifically
king da ka is that aside from the initial the initial ramp like the initial uh like liftoff
situation um there's no there's nothing guiding you you know yeah it's just for just a track
yeah but that's that's safer because if there's like a malfunction on and the whole thing well
no roller coaster the whole there's no roller coaster where the whole thing has like stuff
that propels you like it's all like a like it's physics yeah it's like a oh yeah so it has certain
points where like let's gain some more speed here then go again to the next one power rails i think
they call them yeah because if there was i'm pretty sure if there's power if there's a powered
rail the whole time it's actually dangerous yeah you'd go to you just you would just go too fast
and how are you stopping well no and also because if there's like a malfunction then you're like
oh yeah yeah you're stopping like like that's like that's what a kingda ka rollback is just
like they tried to they tried to launch it and you know there was just one person who was like
too fat or something he weighed it down by like 0.1 grams and so and so they just roll back but
because it's just a track i mean it's really it's almost the same thing just backwards yeah
and dude when i'm on a roller coaster you know the ones like when it's intense enough where you
have to like strap in ready to ride like those that ones that go upside down and outside you
know a lot of times when i'm on those i think like okay so if this lifts up and something hurts
i'll like hold on to it really tight i'll grab this thing and maybe i'll be all right and then
like in reality once i'm off the ride i realize like if my safety harness lifted up i'm fucking
dead yeah i'm dead i have no i have no chance and like it's just me trying to i guess protect
like my i guess anxiety on the ride but you're dead no i i i also do the same thing though when
I'm when I'm being strapped in I'm like if I can just hold it like this yeah if I could hold it
like this while I'm getting like eight g's of going upside down on me I'll be fine superhuman
strength like dead except for the superman ride that one you know you're gonna be dead
literally sit in the chair and then you slide float forward so you it's kind of like you're
flying dude dude I hate that right you sit you're so this ride you sit down and then you're where
your ass is starts bringing you up like you're about to be mounted by superman and like this
very vulnerable doggy style position and then you just go and if that harness comes up there's just
there's nothing it's just ground but the thing about that one is that it's like it's supposed
to be it's supposed to be like you're flying but it does just look like a weird doggy styles it's
so strange i'll tell you what if i could if i had the power to fly but the only way i could do it
is in that position where I'm flying dog and stuff,
I'll give the powers back.
I don't want it.
I don't want it.
Birds are going to be looking at me like, ooh.
Yeah, I mean, it's just not their dynamic in any capacity.
It doesn't make any sense, but, you know.
Yeah, why didn't they just do it standing up and then flip?
I don't know.
Like, what's the difference between strapping in and standing up
and sitting down?
You probably get less people on the ride because everyone is longer now.
Like, you know, like, the ride would have to be longer.
Yeah.
It's like laying in a bed like a coffin or curled up in fetal.
Like, you have more of the bed.
Yeah, I guess so.
But it's just not, it doesn't feel like Superman.
It does not feel like Superman.
That is true.
But it's still one of the best rides there.
Yeah.
I was also thinking about, so my brother's getting into paintball.
Uh-huh.
You know how, like, I don't know, what age did we get into it?
Was it around that age?
Like, eighth grade, seventh grade?
Yeah?
And I was thinking, I would have no mercy on a child in that paintball arena
that is also trying to shoot me.
That's a very valid thought.
Fair.
That's the point.
I feel like, yeah, but I feel like there's people where you bring a kid
and there's a significant age gap and it's like,
am I really about to unload my entire clip into this little boy's back?
Yes.
yes I am
yes you will
I don't see a single problem
with this is the game
if you're not old enough
to play it
then don't play
if you can't handle the paint
get out of the brush
don't hold the brush
if you can't handle paint
don't hold the brush
the thing is like
I don't think the kids
should be showed mercy
but if you play paintball
as an adult
you're kind of a loser anyway
oh a hotter take
okay
I don't think it's
a very hot take
what's adult
but what's adult
like if we went
yeah
like if we really
got into paintball again
loser okay okay so we deserve to be shot in the neck with a paintball i mean no that's not what
i said but like but just like i feel like you're a loser all right all right so uh we're not allowed
to play not allowed to play paintball anymore it's just like you know there's just certain
things where like unless you're at like unless you're unless you're at the top of your paintball
career unless you're like yeah unless you have like actually a career in it or something like
if you just play if you just play recreationally like if someone like if an adult like skateboards
a lot recreationally that's a little you're a loser i think that's a little i think it's the
same thing i'm pretty sure it's the same exact it's the same thing if you're at the top if you're
in the x games if you're playing paintball like that's cool that's then then yeah you've made it
it's it's it's the magician's fallacy the magician's fallacy the magician the magician's
fallacy says that because everybody thinks magic is cool right everybody thinks magic is cool but
unless you're at the top tier of of of magicians you're a loser not cool because being a magician
is actually one of the least cool things one could be an amateur magician is a bad magician
is like is yeah it's it's involuntary celibacy that's what it is it's like go look go at home
look at the mirror and see what's going on so so so so and so that's the magician's fallacy and
paintball and skateboarding fall right into it what about paintballing on a skateboard that's
extreme paintball if unless you're the best person that does it loser that's it all right
there's a lot of things there's i mean there's a lot of things that that are like that like
non-professional ping pong what about playing ping pong no ping pong is just fun
okay okay i think danny like i think danny likes ping no no i mean i i actually dis i'm not like
ping pong is okay okay all right let's go the other way there's something that's like
in like you'll never it'll never not be okay to do like pool or darts like that's okay well
See, this is the opposite.
That's what I said, the opposite.
So we have to find some ground on what is and what isn't.
So pool and darts, I would say, are the opposite.
You can do those.
Yeah, but those are now, their age ranges are actually older.
Okay.
Like a kid playing darts is weird.
Yeah, but if he was really good, that'd be really cool, too.
That's true, too.
But okay, so.
No, no, yeah.
Pool darts, those are fine.
Ping pong's fine.
Ping pong's fine.
Again, these are things like, I don't know.
What about foosball?
I feel like extreme foosball is a little lame.
See, that doesn't fall into either.
Because literally, if you're the best foosball player in the world, I couldn't care less.
So foosball is different.
So foosball is like in this ether of who gives a shit about foosball.
Yeah, yeah, foosball.
Because the thing, again, magicians, the best magicians are highly respected.
Actually, let's keep going.
I'm just going to put up a tier list on there.
We'll just keep going.
The best magicians are highly respected.
The best magicians are highly respected.
So right now we have magicians, paintball, skateboarding.
Yeah.
Things that you have to be at the top of the game to be cool.
Roller skating.
Roller blading.
No, that's cool.
Have you ever seen an amateur roller skater dance around?
That's cool.
All right, but are we talking like the blade or the 2-2?
because those are very different the the blade is less cool the the two two is i mean it's like
disco 70s roller rink funk like i love that all right so the blade is less cool bottom maybe
pastry chefs have that to list like like you know if you're just like some sad fuck who makes
cheesecakes but you probably own a business or work there i mean there's some income with this
with that oh a laser tag that's a really good one yeah laser tags good but i'm gonna put laser tag
below paintball though yeah because laser tag is that's kids you have to be the best laser tags
slinger in the west to for it to be yeah remotely cool yeah to be remotely cool you have to bring
your own mirrors you know and set up yeah you have to be the best of the best people who are
really into pinball i think that's kind of cool or arcade games in general okay okay like tetris
well again you see those tetris competitions and i'm not talking well i do a lot of these things
i'm talking about people who talk about the fact that they do them oh so like oh so so so like if
you if you if you play paintball at a you know corporate barbecue or something this you you're
not in this list this is this is if you say like bro i can fucking you know take somebody down the
court and paintball i don't know why they're from boston yeah bring me to those me and you meet me
in the woods get you get your paintball gun exactly so so so if you say like yeah i could
you know i could bake a mean cheesecake like i could best cheesecake and fucking all this side
of you know whatever then the side of the hudson on the side of the hudson yeah it's like i imagine
extreme pinball player more like uh yeah i was at the the barcade the other night playing the
terminator 2 pinball machine didn't get the height of the record on that yet only brought home an
eight easy slow day for me yeah exactly so so pinball goes on the list i'm crying home uh
oh shit yeah those are those the ones i can think of right now um all right my turn my turn then
Ski ball?
Oh, you said arcade games, right?
No, yeah.
Arcade games in general.
And ski ball is pretty cool.
You like ski ball?
I have been in a ski board tournament or two.
Oh, that's going on the list.
That's going on the list.
You were in a couple ski ball tournaments?
Not a couple.
It was just like this thing the bar did every few weeks.
Every few weeks?
That's like more than two.
Yeah.
Yeah.
it's going on
every week
it's going on the list
take skee-ball off the list
skee-ball's going back
on the list again
skee-ball's off the list
skee-ball
put it with arcade games
again
I do these things
I'm not
I'm not
you know
this isn't
this isn't a criticism
this is just an observation
oh that was funny
so magician stays
at the top then
oh
magician is what
the entire
theory is based off
right
because again
everybody loves magic
but nobody likes magicians yeah everyone likes the the spell no one likes the wand you know
yeah something like that so i don't know so did you hear about these uh the the olympic
cardboard beds the fuck is that what is that what is that so all the beds in the olympic village
the olympic village is open which is which is massive housing that they build fresh for you
know whatever all the olympians and all the beds are made out of cardboard and so there's this so
there's this rumor going around that the reason they're made out of cardboard is to discourage
the olympiads from having sex because it can only support the weight of one person
because because olympiads notoriously fuck yeah do they i mean they're the best athletes in the
world yeah so as well suck suck might as well yeah if i'm each other if i'm the best gymnast
i might as well suck the best um trapeze true so that was the rumor going around but it's been
highly debated and you know semi uh semi fake news because it can actually the bed can actually
hold 440 pounds unless they're doing it real hard so there's no i mean but then there was a bunch
people who've been jumping on them so so it's not so it's not actually what it's for it's it's
actually just to reduce waste yeah but still and i mean you know like you know like you just said
like four gymnasts could fuck each other still yeah exactly and also those those people know
how to be light on their toes clearly the thing i don't understand is i mean i'm about to i'm about
to compete in the most rigorous you know physical test of my life i have to sleep on a cardboard bed
yeah it's like what the hell and what that's not good and what about the people that like
aren't banging like they can't do it and it's like oh we're actually getting
fucked because now i have an uncomfortable bed well who knows if it's uncomfortable
i guess it's just bed frames not the bed oh i was imagining like cardboard stacked and like
a sheet thrown over it with a pillow no like like third world that break under 440 pounds oh dude i
have no idea i couldn't really picture a cardboard it's like an origami bed origami bed frame yeah
okay yeah that'll definitely break with wood banging i made it i had to make a chair out of
cardboard once it broke but you can make things car if you know how to do it cardboard is you
know pretty pretty sturdy material you can make boats out of it i've seen it don't i've seen it
yeah well well not boats like i'm traveling to europe like i could get across a lake
yeah yeah small bear lake small pondish lake is that a boat is that a is that just a glorified
raft a boat has you know an engine and a thing yeah it's probably a raft you're right point is
give these people solid bed frames let them bank also also they can't they can't drink in the room
unless they're alone which is very sad jesus can you let let these olympiads just like drink and
fuck please well that rule makes me think it is about the sex no it's it's it's about covid yeah
but the thing is that they don't want olympiads in the room because right now japan has a huge
covid numbers and they said it's impossible that anybody any of the participants will transmit
covid all of a sudden you know six people in the olympic village has positive for covid uh-oh
bad olympics done it happened oh so so so so so they're really just trying to keep them away from
each other essentially all right isn't there is that a myth the like don't a lot of them not want
to bang because like the testosterone stuff like you know you don't want to bang like aren't the
boxers celibate aren't isn't every boxer celibate or something because like they don't want to
weaken their that's what the trainers tell them usually like a week or two before but i mean i
like i said olympiads are notorious for spreading stds around the olympic village and so are nursing
homes maybe there's a correlation there i've been into the olympic village once you were
you were helping them spread no i snuck in what was that we were at the olympics in brazil i don't
know how you snuck in and we and me and me and my friend we're just looking for some water um and
and and they're like where can we get some water where can get some water and we noticed that the
you know we're walking around it's very it's very disorienting place the olympics we're in brazil
we can't read any signs um and we see a lot of athletes around you know we see like all these
like tour buses and athletes everywhere and and then we ask a woman like hey where's some water
and she was like oh there's a vending machine with water in there and it's like complimentary
and so we so we go through this thing and all of a sudden now we're like in the olympic
you're olympian like we made it through like yeah like i'm olympian you could have said you're on
the olympic team and then we we get in the water they were just kind of like chilling around
looking around and some guy was like who are you guys with and we were like us usa
kazakhstan i don't know whatever one i look like um no we were like
section c nosebleeds you can't be in here it's like this is for olympiads only how did you get
in here and we were like we're just looking for some water yeah we were looking for some water
and we had to walk through like this door that looks like a gold medal like we knew where well
were supposed to be here part of it is that you know the guy was also not saying that in english
he was saying and so we were like swimming michael phelps yeah so uh i didn't get to see a lot of
olympians up close i i saw uh ryan lochte i don't know who that is he's a swimmer is that the one
that beat phelps that one time yeah i remember that point now now he works like in a gas station
or something. I don't know about gas stations.
Dude, I feel like that's what happens, man. It's like
these random people who have
these normal jobs but are really good at something
come in, clean house, go
home, did it, I'm happy with my life, gonna
go back to my gas station.
Yeah, I mean, you know,
we know, but there's some very famous
Olympians, but
There's some not very famous Olympians?
There's tens of thousands of Olympians.
You know, no one,
you know, we don't know half of them.
And do they get
paid or is it an honor thing an honor system i don't believe so the point is all the olympians
should fuck all of them so is it weird if you're lebron james and some guy in a suit came up to you
or some scientist in a lab coat came up to you and said hey man listen yeah serena williams
and you are both gonna offer up yeah something something and we're gonna and we're gonna make
he's going to offer up his little swimmers
and she's going to offer up an egg
an egg or two just in case
and we're going to make the greatest athlete that ever existed
and we're going to give you 20 million dollars
I think they were offered that
and they said no
but if I was LeBron James
I think they were offered that
I think they were
I think they were
and they said no
you think they're growing sports babies
oh I think they tried to
no the best sports babies
and if I'm LeBron James
I think
I would say
yes. No, no.
You would say no? No, of course not.
Why? Because like
It's experimentation. It's too weird. It's too weird.
Yeah, I don't want my kid to be fucking
you know, lab number
240. Like I just want
like if he's going to be a James
he's going to be a James. Yeah, I'm going to do it on my own.
Yeah, he's going to be one of my children. I don't need
Serena's DNA. And right
now Serena's all tied up with the guy who founded
Reddit, so. Yeah.
But, I mean, that doesn't...
LeBron's tied up, too.
LeBron has, like, two kids.
Exactly.
So the point is you leave your genes for your own kids.
Leave your genes for your own pool?
That's what I think he would say.
Yeah, but what if now that...
I mean, I would say if someone asked me for a little vial,
because, you know, they're saying,
oh, Danny, we need your...
Good looks and smarts.
We need your good looks and smarts to create, you know,
the perfect human, then I'd say, yeah, sure.
Yeah, yeah.
And they'd offer you, like, a couple million.
I'd be glad to...
Yeah, I mean, I'd do it for free.
I do it just to better the better the world better the world better the world more me's more
Danny's will not be a bad thing yeah no way no way at all and I feel like yeah but what if yeah
because then it gets in that thing what if that test two baby grows up and he's like man I don't
want to play baseball I just want to go to school and farm like well we fought we wasted 20 million
on that yeah I mean just because they're good at it I'm sure there's a ton of people who are good
who'd be really good at sports if they did them, but they don't.
I feel like everybody knows that guy who, whatever their craft in,
they're like, oh, yeah, but I'm doing this and I'm successful,
but if my buddy or this guy I know was actually trying to do this,
he'd blow us all out of the water, but he just doesn't want to.
I'm sure that happens a lot.
Yeah, exactly, especially with sports.
Yeah, like the kid that was really good in high school or college even,
and then he's like, you know, I don't want to do this.
Yeah.
Knocked up a girl.
Going to either have a family or be a professional tennis player.
What do I do?
Big choice.
Two vastly different choices.
That's true.
Happened to one of our friend's fathers.
He was going to be a professional tennis player.
What?
Yeah.
Professional tennis player, but then it was either that or a family.
Yeah, and also pro tennis.
I mean, okay.
Add it to the list.
You got to be really fucking good at tennis for it to be cool.
pro tennis pro there's a lot of people who play pro tennis roger federer is cool yeah serena
williams naomi asake is cool yeah i think there's another guy that's that's pretty close to federer
didn't he beat then federer lose like last thing or something yeah last open yeah exactly he lost
and i don't know the name because ah put it on the list all right fine i'll put on the list god
Damn it.
If you're not top of tennis, you're not cool.
What about bowling?
Bowling's never cool.
Bottom of the list.
Again, even if you're the best, if you are the best bowler ever,
you'd be like, okay.
I don't know.
If I could bowl a 300, I feel like I'm pretty cool.
No one would want to play bowling with me.
I feel like I'm cool
but actually everyone will go
okay yeah that's great
yeah exactly
everyone will go yeah
it's not
not I'm thinking about it
tennis is on the list
I mean I love
I'm a
you know
I love Serena Williams
I love Roger Federer
yeah
and the other one
I love Naomi Osaka
I think that's her name
I don't want to sound
I mean what
she's representing Japan
big controversy
what is
she's American
and Japanese
oh
I feel like if you're
a dual citizen
you should be able to choose
why is that
you are
but people are like
you know
people are like
hey you should
represent America
because you live in America
okay I get it
but who gives a shit
well I mean
because we also want to win
yeah I know
I feel like that's it more
like they don't care about her
