Starting point is 00:00:00 welcome back to the picky boys podcast would you rather a number three thousand bajillion one not a number two i think it's like 30 i just a piece of my cough drop just out of my mouth i'm trying to get this cough drop down can we get a check are you sick i'm a little coffee i don't think i'm sick oh let's put them in a bubble i don't think i'm sick i'm just a little coffee you know i've had a little coffee this morning sickness i'm not like danny you know What does that mean? It's where you can have malaria, and you'll come down here and hang out with us because you don't like being away from us that long. Except for 29.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Good number. Good number. Good number. Well, you're right. I'm going to take that as a compliment. Nope. You shouldn't. I pushed through what my body says.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Oh, my body. I pushed through. i don't know if that's exactly what i would say it is but i do agree you do that you do do that i'll take that you do do that i'll take that i do probably you know hurt people in that process that's what i'm saying infect people in that process i'm talking about that part there's a many infection that comes from your body that's that's fair but i don't know sometimes listen whenever someone says i can't come i'm sick i'm just like just come see i don't care i have the exact opposite of that it's like stay home i got strong immune system that has nothing to do oh
Starting point is 00:01:27 you like oh now you're not sick i will fight yes you're saying someone else who is sick coming someone else i don't i'm feeling a little coffee it's like i don't care come i don't care i thought you don't have a strong immune system you have a gritty immune system like one that just won't quit and won't give up but it's actually not that talented that's fair i'll take it i'll take it I don't know why he had to insult your immune system like that. I will say every time all of you people get sick, I definitely get like a version of a sickness. There you go. But I'm just like, oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:59 I think Danny operates at a level of always sick. So he doesn't really care. Yo, there was a time. We'll get to the would you rathers in a second. But there was a time where Danny had a cough for nine. Danny had a cough baby. He had a cough for nine full months. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:14 Didn't care about it. Didn't care to go see somebody or a witch doctor or something. You could go back to podcasts during that one-year period and, you know, and Tony will just be talking and then you'll hear. And then I would just go, ew. And then he would go, why are you saying that? You know what's crazy too? That was before I was somewhat of a more active smoker.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Isn't that weird how that works? Cigarettes? What is this guy talking about? No, no, no, baby doll. No, no, no. Don't baby doll me. Not yet. Not yet.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Maybe five minutes in. Not three minutes in. Not cigarettes. That's gross. Oh, I'm sorry. Smoking does make your lungs stronger. That is true. That's kind of what it feels like sometimes, honestly.
Starting point is 00:02:55 This is who I hang around with. I think it's true. You think it's true? Well, of course you think it's true. You ever see an old grandmommy? Jason, you can't breathe. Wait, what did you just say? You ever see an old grandmommy?
Starting point is 00:03:07 You know? A meemaw? A meemaw. And she's like, I've had a pack of cigarettes and a Dr. Pepper every day for the last 90 years. She's 104? Yeah. Was Dr. Pepper that old? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Not as old as her. 23 flavors, I think. 11 herbs and spices. No. I think there's like three flavors of Dr. Pepper. I have no idea. No, that's not what I mean. 23 flavors in the Dr. Pepper.
Starting point is 00:03:30 23 flavors of grandma? She would pull out her oxygen mask, take a hit of a cigarette, and put it back. I don't think you're supposed to do that. But she's still kicking. Either way. She's still alive. Why don't we get into this, probably? All right.
Starting point is 00:03:42 We have some would-you-rathers. I think we have one from the Discord, and then on Patreon, patreon.com slash pickyboys. We're going to continue this going on. I think that episode will already be up by the time you see this on YouTube. If you want to know how to get into the Discord, like I just said, any tier, patreon.com slash pickyboys. We're past 1,700, on our way to 1,800. We got a lot of goals that we're about to start filming. Get in there.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Get in there. Get in there. Who wants to start? You can start. From what I remember, we only did one Would You Rather Each last time. So you guys got to let me know, because I wanted to say this one. Let me know if I said this one already. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Oh, true. Because last time, somebody repeated one. Who? Jason. Every time. Every time. I don't do it every time. It's probably the one time I've done it.
Starting point is 00:04:22 You come with two Would You Rathers every once a month, and one of them is always a repeat. I don't know how it's possible. Wait, so are you saying you want us to get through them quicker? No. I don't care. I'm just asking if this has happened. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:36 Let's see. Let's hear it. Did I ask this yet? Does anybody remember a wooden nickel? No. No. Anybody? Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:42 would you rather every week you get a hundred dollars or you can conjure a wooden nickel at any time wooden nickel that's what does that mean that's like a euphemism for something what is it what are you trying to tell us it's a it's a nickel size piece of wood essentially but it looks like a nickel every no no the wooden nickel this is a thing he's not telling us no i'm telling you just a wooden nickel no no isn't it like you flip it and something happens he's lying to us JT, it's a nickel made out of wood. But why are you even saying – well, why even call it a nickel? Because it doesn't have any buying power.
Starting point is 00:05:20 It's not made of nickel. But it looks like a nickel. If I gave you a wooden thing that looks like a teddy bear, I'd call it a wooden teddy bear. What's the other thing again? A hundred bucks a week. I'm taking the nickel because I don't know what's going to – this is a trick. I'm telling you it's not a trick. It's a wooden nickel.
Starting point is 00:05:32 I'm taking the nickel. I want to see this nickel. Well, he's going to say something like you can essentially be like a superhero and you can like fling the wooden nickel. You could, like, make fires continue with infinite wood and nickels. You kind of can. Do I have infinite? You can conjure wood and nickels. So I can just create wood?
Starting point is 00:05:53 That's superpower? Well, no, it's wood and nickels. Yeah. Right, but if I... Okay, I can create wood, though. My house will never be cold. No, you're not listening. As long as I have a fireplace.
Starting point is 00:06:01 They're wood, but the size of nickels. I'm the wood conjurer. I'm the king of the forest. They're this big. And I can do infinite. Sure. You can't just spawn infinite. You can barely make a house from them.
Starting point is 00:06:15 You can't make a house out of wooden nickels. They're a little tiny. They're so tiny. I can figure it out. I guess you could probably wood chip it, make it into a composite board. Now we're talking. Nah, now we're talking. You're making a composite four by eight out of wooden nickels?
Starting point is 00:06:30 Well, I mean, what am I supposed to do with just little spheres? Just so I'm sure. Jason, can you look up what a wooden nickel is? Does it exist? This is a thing. This is a thing. I don't think it's anything crazy. Oh, there it is.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Okay, well... Wait, is it real? Is that a real thing? It seems like there's a Native American... I see that. Look up wooden nickel meaning. Wooden nickel meaning? I'm telling you, this is like an expression or a euphemism or it's like a... Spiritual! Wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:07:00 Of worthless, fraudulent, or counterfeit item. I don't think it's anything of that much meaning. Well, I'll take the $100 a week then. Wait, no, it's still... Why $100 a week? What made you flip? It's still wood. Because, I mean, like, I was just thinking of the things I could do with a nickel.
Starting point is 00:07:16 I don't want to do any of those things. You see, you keep saying nickel. Wooden nickel. The wooden nickel. I don't want to do any of those things. Why? I just don't make fires a lot. But what if I went up to you and I just kept dropping, like, wooden nickels in your pockets?
Starting point is 00:07:31 That would be, like, funny, I guess, for a few days. And then I'd be like, all right, we get it. What if a table's wobbly and we don't have any coasters? That's good. Need a wooden nickel. That would be a good use. What if maybe it bypasses a soda machine? That'd be nice.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Who puts a nickel in a soda machine anymore? If I have infinite wooden nickels and it bypasses the machine, I'm putting them in there. I mean, I'm team just get rid of everything but the quarter. Only quarters. I don't even like regular nickels. So what about the price of things? Would it round up or round down? Yeah, everything's just to the 25th cent now.
Starting point is 00:08:08 So everything's up. It could be down, too, if you want. Okay, so round up or round down, you're saying. Where do you put 13, then? It's $5.13. Is that $5.25 or is that $5 flat? It's up to the discretion of the store. Probably the 25th, honestly.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Dude, don't look at me like that. He's just trying to penny pinch me here. He's trying to penny pinch you. I'm not trying to penny pinch you. He's trying to pinch you for 12 pennies. Yeah, so shopping at that store, you lose 12 cents. Maybe, okay, maybe nickels, no. Maybe quarters and dimes.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Why do we have a nickel? But nickels are bigger than dimes. It's easier to lose dimes. But that's weird, too. I don't like any of this. Now, where does a wooden nickel fit in? A wooden nickel is fake. I'll be honest.
Starting point is 00:08:46 The ability to conjure anything is worth more than, what is it, like $5,000 a year? Bro, if it was JT, drunk JT at a bar, or drunk Chaz at a bar. Chaz loves magic. And I just did this, Chaz. And it was just wooden nickel. Everybody knows you're the wooden nickel guy. No, he didn't tell me one yet. I didn't tell anybody.
Starting point is 00:09:04 What, were you a part of this, Genie? I'd rather get $100 a week than do a cool bar trick. But, you see, you're thinking small. When does Danny think small? I am. If anything, the power to make a bunch of them is the only thing this is useful for. Like, a bunch. You would have to make one at a time.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Also, do they fly out of my hand? Maybe if you do a throwing motion and then you conjure it. Yeah, like if I did. Or if you just conjure it and throw it. If I did like a thousand wooden nickels, what would happen? They all just fall down? Well, no. You could only conjure one at a time, obviously.
Starting point is 00:09:37 You can't conjure a thousand. Well, yeah. You can't crush somebody. A thousand nickel jutsu. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Okay. What's the conjuring time?
Starting point is 00:09:44 Huge question. Most important question, probably. Very important question. A second? That's pretty good. A wooden nickel a second? So 60 a minute? That's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Dude, you just... What if you did two hands? Maybe 120 a minute. Can you conjure from your feet? Is that a thing in lore? I mean, yeah, probably. So can I cast a fireball from my foot? I would assume so.
Starting point is 00:10:04 I mean, definitely like the firebenders in Avatar do it. You know what I mean? Yeah, but that's a different thing. They'll like kick and then fire comes out. Yeah, but it's not a fireball. That's them controlling the weather. You know? I think fire's not part of the weather.
Starting point is 00:10:16 It's an element. They control something. Is fire not an element? Weather tomorrow's looking fiery. It happens. You can definitely conjure. You ever see a fire tornado? Dude, those are scary.
Starting point is 00:10:26 You can definitely conjure from your foot. it's with the soul of your foot so let's say four nickels a second if you use both your feet i don't i don't want this i don't want to be sitting for it though yeah danny incoming sorry i don't want this power i'm getting the hundred dollars the five thousand dollars a year whatever 125 a day whatever yeah but you seem like someone who carries what just messed up the number also i don't care what that might could be a dollar it changes to 125 a day all you had to do hey job guy was listen he's been talking about wooden nickels i don't know i don't know what's going on our producer ladies and gentlemen you guys are talking about something i don't know
Starting point is 00:11:03 what you're talking about ladies and gentlemen jason's back uh what's your fucking would you rather yeah you had you had you've been here one time in the month and let's hear your expert would you rather no we're going to circle so jason if you don't say it would you rather right now i will kiss you right on the mouth all right i i got a i got a minor inconvenience one i tried to come up with a couple minor inconveniences so would you rather your phone lock every five seconds you're using it or every 10th time you swallow food you gag gag so the food's already down like just every 10th time you swallow so it drinks too if you're if you're drinking water you know seven eight nine you do a little little one of those oh i'm doing that every five seconds is
Starting point is 00:11:53 insane your phone's useless i could never play yeah your phone is useless i could ever play a clash match ever again no no i get three crowned every time you could send texts and and and you know that's about barely and you could you could probably go on the phone right does the does the call end when you lock your phone no right okay so i can use it for that you can use it as a phone basically like an old school phone remember those back in the day so i would need to gagging's pretty awful i would need my a clicker just okay important question to me sipping and chewing that's swallowing same thing so four sips five chews it's not a chew it's a swallow yeah four sit four sips five swallows is that still nine yeah yes you're gonna finish a
Starting point is 00:12:41 meal in that no i cannot okay i mean danny did eat a uh chipotle bowl in in seven by seven so he could eat a whole chipotle bowl knock out and take two six and take a couple sips to wash it down true i'm doing that one i don't care i don't care i don't know i think i just don't care what did you say what was the question I just don't care about, oh, every ten gulps, I go, ugh. That wouldn't kind of ruin the enjoyment of eating for you? Of course, but one ruins the enjoyment of eating, and one ruins my phone forever, basically. Danny lives on that thing.
Starting point is 00:13:19 I love my phone. Also, what does that mean? Once Jason is done eating, he would have had 40 gags? Yeah. On top of the 20 that he does normally right now. Yeah, and once he takes it out of his mouth, I'm on top of that. Nobody's going to want to go to restaurants with you. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:13:38 He's right. You're going to go alone. There's a large percentage of the world. I think he goes alone anyway. I do not. There's a lot of people who, like, you know, to them, if you gag, they gag. If you throw up, they throw up. Like, they're just – that's how they are.
Starting point is 00:13:52 That's not my problem. You're going to have to eat up. That's not my problem. You're not understanding. Danny doesn't give a fuck. The thing is, it's just like you're basically saying, would you rather do that or not have a phone? Because I'm not using it in this five-second hell-escape. There's definitely no more TikTok or Instagram or something.
Starting point is 00:14:08 No, no, absolutely not. I mean, maybe if it was once a minute, I could get down a dirty hair. But this is ridiculous. Ten seconds. No, no. Literally, a minute is a minimum. No, no, here we go. 33 seconds, take it or leave it.
Starting point is 00:14:24 No. And you gag every swallow. Oh, well, that's crazy. Well, then, yeah, of course, of course. Okay, you gag every swallow, or your phone locks every five seconds. The phone. I just won't use the phone ever again. I mean, that's fine, I guess.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Oh, you gave that up so fast. Also, every swallow. You won't be able to eat, basically. No, it's what it's already down, isn't it? Yeah, I mean, you never took a, like, I don't know. You never chugged a beer, and at the end, you go, oh, that was a lot of beer. Yeah, I mean, for sure, but I almost, that's an almost reversal for me. okay i mean i guess that's what you'd be stuck with what are you picking i don't know what
Starting point is 00:15:01 podcast am i on i don't know what day is it i might have to take the gag i'm not happy about it but wait how long can i use my phone for five seconds five seconds all right you know that was part of the original question just so you know well i got lost you guys changed the number around we did change it a lot we changed both of them we did we'll give them that we changed it a little bit uh by the way you want to hear something gross about yes yes yes yes i was we last time we were at that restaurant that we go to oh yeah something i had was really not making me feel good and when i left there's snow all on the ground right now like piles of snow i vomited everything i just ate and drank like everything it's a total purge and then i walked by that same spot it's
Starting point is 00:15:45 perfectly like frozen it's like a gigantic like ice chunk of philly cheesesteak and ginger ale and vodka and Guinness and the vodka doesn't melt it's a freeze I guess but everything else frozen speaking of that
Starting point is 00:16:00 if we're saying the gross thing Danny's the only friend that'll throw up in your toilet and not clean it it's an impressive thing excuse me you didn't flush it's an impressive thing
Starting point is 00:16:09 maybe you flushed but there's still he just doesn't he just doesn't I threw up here too yeah yeah that was your first throw up
Starting point is 00:16:16 you announced it you threw up and you came out I thought the first time was in the restaurant no no no oh There's something about malt liquor that doesn't agree with me nowadays.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Right, nothing to do with the cleaning part, obviously. We'll bypass that. Jason, what's your would you rather? Wait, I didn't clean or I didn't flush. Didn't clean it. What's the difference there? I think you cleaned, but there's like remnants and everything. The bowl was stained and everything.
Starting point is 00:16:37 You just did nothing. Oh, man. You don't give a fuck. Because you know why, Chad? Danny doesn't give a fuck. I don't know. Yeah. Because I went to pee and I was like.
Starting point is 00:16:45 I'm just going to go upstairs and throw up on his bed. All right. That would be a little. That would be slightly maybe overdoing the revenge portion. Not if I forget about it. That's true. Not if I forgot about it. I didn't do it then.
Starting point is 00:16:57 I would just get a vacuum or something. No, don't vacuum it. We've tried that. Get some cleaning solution, flip it over, and stop whining about it. That's what I would do personally. Oh, good. Okay. Good.
Starting point is 00:17:13 All right. Would you rather your closet slash wardrobe randomizes every day or the contents of your refrigerator randomizes every day? Wait, say that again. So your closet randomizes or your fridge? But it's not of my stuff. It's of random clothes. But they'll fit you, right? It's all stuff you can wear, right?
Starting point is 00:17:37 It's not going to be like children's clothes, right? So it's random clothes. It could be a full – But approximately your size. It doesn't seem like it's approximately – I just said some tight, some loose, but approximately your size. It kind of seems like it's random clothes. But it will never be like the closet – yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:17:59 That's what I'm asking. So if I rummage through this random closet, I'll never find baby booties in there? Honestly, both of these sound kind of like fun. Yeah, it's kind of cool. Yeah, like, I'm not that into fashion and stuff, but I feel like, for you, that'd be a fun challenge every day of, oh, can I make an outfit with everything in here? And it goes both ways with the refrigerator as well. Yeah, 100%. That sounds like a cooking show.
Starting point is 00:18:23 You, like, open your fridge and, like, what do we got here? It's basically chopped. Every day is chopped in your house. Both days would provide fun little challenges, fun little bonus games. Can I choose both? No. Honestly, the fridge one seems a little worse because it's, like, I don't know if you're just tired one day. You're like, I just want something normal, and it's just nothing good in there.
Starting point is 00:18:43 You're going to get one of those days. It's not meals, right? It's like ingredients. Yeah, ingredients, drinks. What the hell are you guys cooking? How are you guys not choosing clothes? Well, I think exactly that's the point around choosing the fridge because I barely use our own fridge. So it truly doesn't really matter to me what's inside of it.
Starting point is 00:19:04 I'll do the fridge thing, and then you get an app, and you put what you have in there, and it gives you a whole bunch of recipes. Don't they have apps now where you can just take a picture of the food? That'd be crazy. And just so it's all like random ingredients, right? Or is it literally like a portal? This is someone else's fridge. Oh, now I get to steal from them? Can there be leftovers?
Starting point is 00:19:23 So there's, yeah, Danny's looking any way possible to not have to cook the food. I mean, I'm just not cooking the food. Any way possible to not cook the food. If that's the case, I'm just not. It randomizes the food. So, yeah, I'd say occasionally you'll find someone else's leftovers. There could be a chicken parm in there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:38 It's not, oh, it's chicken, there's vodka sauce and whatever. But you also don't know how old it is. True. So it's a random fridge. You can open it. Could it be rotten food? If it's a random fridge? There could be heads in there one day.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Wow. Dahmer's fridge. Oh, wow. I like this. Not that particular part. You didn't like it until right there. That's when you announced you liked it. You verbalized it once there was heads in the fridge.
Starting point is 00:20:04 You can look back at my face. I liked it when you said there might be a chicken parm and then you chose to wait 30 seconds to verbalize it I didn't say chicken parm yes you did I said leftover oh my god
Starting point is 00:20:19 replay you said chicken parm did he say chicken parm I said leftovers 100% the point is that you didn't announce to the world and to the viewers that you liked it until you heard about the heads that could possibly be in there.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Well, it came quick. I was, I don't know. Exactly. The thought of happiness came very fast as soon as we said Dahmer's fridge. The closet could also be fun, but I'm going with the fridge. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Because what if one day you just wake up and you have, like, I don't know, just a bunch of, like, leather or something that you don't like, you know? Like, I don't want to wear, like, leather. Or if you have a wedding, and you're like, is there a suit in here today, please?
Starting point is 00:21:04 Yeah, if I have a job interview, and it's just like a clown closet. Well, it depends what the job is. That's true. Barnum Bailey, maybe. But yeah, I'll go fridge. I'll go fridge. There'll probably be some cool things. I'm going to go.
Starting point is 00:21:20 Oh, no, but I could get a head in there. Oh, can I get a skeleton in the closet? You know? Oh. I feel like that's more of a metaphor. Yeah. I feel like that's a metaphor. So we're saying right now there's never been a skeleton in anyone's closet.
Starting point is 00:21:34 Has there ever been a head in a fridge? Is that a euphemism? No. No, because there have been heads in the fridge. Tell me that can't be a dead body in the closet. So was Dahmer's skeleton in his closet, the heads in his fridge? Probably. Yes, probably.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Fucking Socrates. So crates. So crates. I'm going to go with the clothes thing, though, because I actually began to not like it once you said that the food could just be old and I wouldn't know. Yeah. Like I could get something that's kind of going to make me sick and I don't realize it. And also that there could be heads. Not cool.
Starting point is 00:22:07 So I got to go with the closet thing now. And we're being very clear. There can't be any skeletons in the closet. No. I'll probably go closet. Danny can have his heads. I'm going with the fridge. I feel like 80% of the time you can just do a little sniff and eye test and you can tell whether the food is good or bad.
Starting point is 00:22:26 See, this is coming from not the best source. I actually agree with this. I said 80% of the time. 20% there's going to be a sneaky, like, oh, yeah, this is three-day-old chicken or whatever. But, like, you can look at it and be like, okay, this is not good. You know, I saw – It's tough. A week-and-a-half old chicken doesn't look any different.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Oh, not true. It really doesn't. It can be gray sometimes. Man, week-and-a-half. Now you're going 10, 11 days. I don't know. It'll also be very dry. It would be very dry.
Starting point is 00:22:55 I don't think it would look – in a good fridge, it wouldn't look any different for a little bit. It wouldn't. and if Danny's drunk and hungry the days on the calendar don't matter honestly that's really why I like this one it's just because I'd be very excited to open the fridge every day and say what do we got
Starting point is 00:23:14 anything here I could use until it's JT's fridge in college and it's four raw ramen noodles and a yogurt then I'll just I'll get a case of beer and I'll just go eat something else I don't know can you only eat from the fridge
Starting point is 00:23:31 No, that's ridiculous. Get you only from the fridge, and you can only wear what's in the closet. That makes sense. It would make sense you can only wear what's in the closet, right? That's true. I guess you could starve, and you could walk around naked. Okay, well, then I'm picking the closet, obviously. I mean, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:23:44 So you just thought that you would look in the fridge, go, I don't really like it, and go get McDonald's or something? Basically, yeah. I just thought I couldn't use any fridge. I can never buy something I can put in my fridge ever again, basically. That's what I thought it was. What if one day you randomly get your own fridge? then it would have nothing in it why not
Starting point is 00:24:03 all right I think we have probably one more I guess oh man wow time flies when we're having fun doesn't it it really does this is a somewhat topical one it's Olympic themed would you rather be stuck in
Starting point is 00:24:20 Groundhog's Day until you get an Olympic gold medal summer and winter events let me lay it out for you here summer and winter events um you can try three times per day and the it's groundhog's day so the result is final so you know what you need to beat in any event you choose and you also get to live in the olympic village you have unlimited buffet and food and you know whatever it's nice there wait what did you say you said the result is final yeah so like so let's say no one else will get better
Starting point is 00:24:51 yeah no one else will get better so if the if the gold medal was uh one minute and 20 second 40 meter sprint it's always going to be that not the one sprint me neither but I can attempt other like whatever you want as long as they're solo what's the easiest one to do the Olympic thing yes
Starting point is 00:25:08 worst Olympic record or just the easiest Olympic to break but you have to get the gold medal and you'll be stuck there until you get a gold medal or oh that was one yeah well there wasn't a number summer or Olympic or Summer or winter.
Starting point is 00:25:25 You're in a jail cell, and you have to count out loud to 50 million, which takes approximately one and a half to two years if you're doing it nonstop. That quick, huh? So probably would take you five years around. Dude, I'm definitely doing the Groundhog thing. The men's 400-meter freestyle records are considered amongst the easiest to break. If that's the standard of easiest, we're screwed. Well, these are also records.
Starting point is 00:25:50 Don't say you have to set a record. You just have to get a gold medal. You just have to get a gold medal. But I was thinking, like, legitimately. Yeah, but if you beat the record, you'd probably get the gold. Yeah, but I'm saying you don't even have to do all that. Like, the record doesn't get broken every Olympics, does it? All right, do a list of all Olympic sports.
Starting point is 00:26:04 It also, it said 400 and 800 meters swimming, which is different. Isn't that like Michael Phelps' record, it's probably? And you're saying I could pick any one? Any solo sport, yes. Fuck! Good, good, good caveat. But the one thing you really have to weigh here is, Do you think within five years, three tries a day, you can perfect a craft, essentially?
Starting point is 00:26:27 Oh, wait, Groundhog's Day was capped at five? No, Groundhog's Day is forever, but if it wasn't, you should just pick the other one, right? Why? I don't age. Oh, that's true. I don't want to age. I don't want to age. I don't want to be in prison. You don't age in either one.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Let's say that. But, bro, there are the benefits to the Groundhog Day. You'd have so much fun in the Olympic Village going around, causing chaos, doing whatever you want until you're ready to beat this record. I don't think anyone would really like you in there. They'd be like, what the hell are you doing here? Yeah, they don't know who you are. Yeah, they would not know who I am. How are we in there then?
Starting point is 00:26:59 I'm thinking archery. Also, question. If I shot a bow and arrow three times a day, every day, you don't think I can get one great day? Also, do my physical abilities reset every day too? Like, if I'm trying to beat the weightlifting one, so every day I'm working out. But the next day, do I just go back to my weaker self? No, you can compound skills. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:27:28 Dude, I'm doing the groundhog thing. I still don't think you should do the weightlifting. And I'm going to be the karate kid. I'm going to do karate. Oh, that's a hard one. Dude, I don't. It's like shooting. I feel like shooting.
Starting point is 00:27:40 I mean, at some point, one of these days, I'm going to get it. You know what? I'll learn how to skateboard. I'll learn how to skateboard. I'll learn how to skateboard. That seems harder to me. I'll grind. I'll pop an ollie.
Starting point is 00:27:53 Trampoline. Oh, it's like gymnastics. Yeah, no, I'm not doing that. I can't do that. What are the ones that the U.S. added because it's hosted in the U.S.? It was just flag football. Oh, that's it. So that's a team sport.
Starting point is 00:28:02 You can't do that. Nothing else? I thought you get to add a couple. I think it's just that. What about curling? Or is that a team? Curling would be a team. The question is a horse.
Starting point is 00:28:12 That's a team sport because the horse is part of your team. The horse has to be a part of your team. okay um it's gonna be archery or shooting and maybe i'm underselling how hard those things are but i feel like in archery i mean some guy two four years ago walked in closed his eye and got second place beach wrestling no equipment no nothing i'll watch some beach wrestling sounds like a fun time okay that's enough out of you uh these are all of them it's not that many i feel like there'd be more danny is what's the one called where you fly through the air and the skis is that ski jump yeah i think it's ski jumping i wouldn't do that one
Starting point is 00:28:51 no what is skeleton then skeleton is luge but you're facing forward uh i think well i think everybody's made their mind up that nobody wants to nobody wants to count to four years in prison million i don't want to be in prison dude i guess that's i don't want to be in prison groundhog day I could learn a skill. Yeah, but what if you just never get it? Like, you just never get it. But then you try a new one. Yeah, you could try them all.
Starting point is 00:29:16 You're telling me if I have essentially infinite years and infinite growing of skill, I won't win at one of these? Impossible. I also, I got some experience in some of these. I was a speed skater as a child, so I might go that route. How long ago did you, how long ago? 20 years plus, at least 20 years ago. You know, maybe it's like riding a bike. How old am I?
Starting point is 00:29:36 28? Yeah. definitely 20 plus years ago maybe it's like riding a bike maybe you hop right on those skates and you got it what's futsal i do not know can we look up futsal right there what the hell is that is that just soccer is it indoor football oh fifa indoor soccer what about it's five aside where normal normal soccer is what seven i think it's more than seven what about boxing i don't feel like getting my face punched every day i feel like i'll just go I feel like you've got to try one day, right?
Starting point is 00:30:07 Just a puncher's chance. Yeah, just a puncher's chance is one good punch. I would try some other things. There is no way any puncher's chance doesn't exist in that. There's no way. Oh, it definitely does. Honestly, it kind of doesn't because you have headgear in the Olympics. Yeah, you do.
Starting point is 00:30:26 And so it's not like really you could even get this lucky one-punch knockout. It's far less likely because they're not going to get knocked out. You know, maybe badminton. Okay. Bro, that's a fun sport. Maybe badminton. Is there a pickleball in the Olympics yet? No.
Starting point is 00:30:41 No, those old bats would get me. I feel like pickleball's popularity has died down because most of the people who play it have died. Like, it was very popular amongst the old people, and then every year it gets less popular because there's a culling. I think it's just cold. It's like how handball's kind of down right now. I guess that's – no, but I think it's just generally down in the cultural zeitgeist. Danny keeps – Danny keeps tallies at the local park. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:10 Okay. I'm sorry. What is athletics? I feel like that's the name of all of these. It's just – that's the general name. Running. Includes single events, 100-meter marathon, long jump. Oh, some of these have things in them.
Starting point is 00:31:22 We're not – I mean we're not – none of us are winning any of these. I'm not from winning any of these. I think I can win sailing. I'm going to try fencing. I don't know how to sail. Fencing? you're long you're a long bitch if you can do fencing but archery and shooting probably is what i'll focus on i feel like archery is cooler again you can do three a day any sport so you
Starting point is 00:31:41 try three times you can do archery shooting and fencing if you want what can i do archery archery archery yeah but wait okay i three a day and then it resets because it's groundhog day yeah bro if you choose i okay now i'm gonna go something like judo because now i know the other guy's moves by day a thousand like by day a thousand i'm versing the same guy i know what he's gonna open with what he's gonna counter with i know i just have to memorize patterns i'm going judo didn't even think about this or even boxing or something i would have been there for decades like 10 days probably 100 probably 100 days even if it might be a year but still yeah that's sure you do know their moves now yeah it's like okay he's gonna open with this
Starting point is 00:32:24 and then he's gonna you definitely have to do one of these one-on-one things but also in archery I know the score already so I can do my first shot like on the iPhone
Starting point is 00:32:32 when we're playing and if it's a bad shot I'll just start again oh wow you're gonna enjoy the day I'll just do shooting you're gonna enjoy the day you might as well just do shooting
Starting point is 00:32:42 I'll do shooting I'll start again every time I don't think these are lethal guns that they're using here they're like pellet guns well I'll bring a real one dude
Starting point is 00:32:51 it's a full you're telling me if I get hit with one of those bow and arrows it'll bounce off like it's nerfed no the bow and arrow but i don't i don't think you can bow and arrow yourself definitely i think someone will tackle you and stop you i'll just jump i think if you hold the bow and then put your foot down someone will stop me by that time i'll just jump in front of someone else's bow i'll be like yeah just shoot it don't worry no but you gotta do a one-on-one thing bro like boxing or or even any of these sports right
Starting point is 00:33:14 like badminton maybe like you know where they're gonna hit it eventually right after you've played them thousands of times in the same what's the same exact day for them they're gonna try the same things unless you believe in free will or something jason can you type in uh go go go up there you gotta tell them type in maria i don't know how to spell this next part abramovich let's let's have him try there we go abramovich it started with a p i saw that that's it and then bow and arrow type in that how much would it take you to do this with me what am i doing you're holding a bow and arrow and i'm holding the string and the bow directly at your heart what's the what's the trick here danny this isn't a trick this is a performance art piece to show
Starting point is 00:34:02 how much they love each other you know danny you can be the one holding the bow no no no i'm holding the arrow how much how much do you need to get paid you can't i i'll never i need to do it for two minutes standing out two minutes two minutes there's no price come on there's no price your attention span you'd forget what you're doing he'd forget what a bow and arrow is maybe jt but jt has like adhd it'd be i can't do it with any of you martin's too shaky this is like this is a sick photo though it is a sick photo there's no ever seen a chainsaw it's really not a corny ass photo ever seen people do salsa and there's a moving chainsaw no i have seen i just saw it like i have seen that the other day i haven't seen that there's a i know you have a price i don't i do
Starting point is 00:34:45 not have you have a price how much would you do it for if it was reversed oh like 10 million dollars oh oh oh this is yeah jesus christ this is crazy what is this this is chain song there's no way there's a chain on that song oh it's way too random it's not like well they're watching it right okay you know this is a good way to learn salsa yeah true let go i don't believe there's a chain on that saw no it's definitely not a chain right also if you're gonna do it do it with two chain saws be a man wait how is it moving just how is it gaining momentum is someone up there like swinging it no i think it's just well it doesn't it's not gaining momentum right it's it's actually it's getting tighter so that it looks like it's going faster it's just not swinging
Starting point is 00:35:34 as far because it's losing momentum you know it feels like the swings are getting way wider though like it starts out pretty well it is also on wouldn't that be giving it motion too god forbid a chainsaw gets a little motion there's so many there's so many like performance art pieces like this where these couples just like all right danny how much kill themselves how much danny how much for us to do salsa in between uh chainsaw oh way way more more at least 10 times more this is harder than just holding you just have to hold this piece of string i don't think he can i literally don't think he can hold i mean i know a bow is hard to hold for a while but i also am using all my body weight it's not like i'm usually not the usual bow stance the problem will be when
Starting point is 00:36:17 it's 30 seconds in oh god there'd be shaky hands down for sure the release would be a little intense too i have to like slowly pull it towards you back look up pounds of force to draw a bow It's like, it is a lot of muscle. Some are hundreds of pounds. 40 to 70 plus pounds. That's for bow hunting. Yeah, I guess holding that with one hand for two minutes is a little tough. That was like a hunting bow.
Starting point is 00:36:43 I don't even know how long these people did it for. It's a small hunting bow. It would kill her, though. I mean, it's probably not even aimed at her. Oh, excuse me. It's probably not even aimed at her. Oh, I think it is. It's probably off to the side, like, you know, that famous Kobe moment.
Starting point is 00:36:57 It's not real. I don't think so. Don't tell me that. Don't tell me the Kobe moment. It's not real. It was real to me, damn it. It's not real. That Kobe moment's not real.
Starting point is 00:37:04 This woman is legit in the pursuit of being able to be injured in her art. That's why this is – that's so corny. Like, I don't know. I don't like that. Also, these two, they're famous. You know, they were lovers for a long time. And their final piece together was they both walked the Great Wall of China and met in the middle and then broke up. I feel like that validates everything I was saying about these being performative, corny goofballs.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Which takes like a month, by the way. The Wall of China, so much greater and so much longer than you could ever imagine. It is called the Great Wall. It's so long. You can't see us from space, though. You can't just fucking break up and curse at each other like a normal couple. Jason goes, I like that. I just want to do a whole podcast where I show JT, Maria, Abramovich.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Literally. Sounds like the most corny, performative fucking person ever. Her first one, which she got famous for, is she just had a table full of, like, weapons and also good things. So there's, like, guns, knives, barbed wire, but also feathers and roses. And she just stood there, and anybody could pick up anything and do whatever they wanted to her. Oh, I've seen this girl. Now I know who this is. And at first it started with, like, people would, like, put her arms in weird positions and do this.
Starting point is 00:38:20 And then people started, like, cutting her. Oh, my God. Like, it was intense. Maybe we don't do that. was there plans of replicating I'm talking about her maybe you don't do that
Starting point is 00:38:32 but it's for the arts we gotta get out of here JT tell them where to find you you can find me on Instagram at the J balls find me at
