Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, polls tell you what voters said at one moment, but Kalshi gives you another way to follow a race, a live market that moves as traders respond to new information. In Michigan, Abdul-El-Said and Mike Rogers are competing in one of Kalshi's most traded midterm matchups. You can visit Kalsh's midterms hub to track how the market views the race and then trade an event contract on the outcome you think is going to happen. If you're right at settlement, each winning contract is worth $1. See the market, make your call, trade what happens next on Kowgli.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Kalshi, use code daily, D-A-I-L-Y to get up to $25 when you trade $25. That's K-A-L-S-H-I-K-C-A-L-S-H-I-C-T-E trade on anything. 18-plus only restrictions and eligibility requirements apply. Event contracts, trading involves risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Cal-Shee products are not available in all jurisdictions. Prices, values, and available markets may differ from those mentioned. For more information, you can go see calshy.com slash regulatory. Do you think that the Bible that you have today is the gospel that Jesus Christ was preaching on earth?
Starting point is 00:01:03 Yeah. These gospels were anonymous for the first two centuries of Christianity after Jesus Christ. You have a problem. No, no, you have a problem. No, the problem is yours. The entire early church is unanimous on the authorship of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. What are you on about, bro? Destroy.
Starting point is 00:01:24 God Logic. Yo! That's what I'm going to call you. Is that what people call you? People call me that. People call me logic and still like that year. Well, that's great to have you on last call. I told you I was going to show you a bunch of pro-Muslim TikToks to have you respond to them.
Starting point is 00:01:38 And I said, do you want to see them ahead of time? You're like, nope, I want to be surprised. All surprises, baby. I don't like spoilers. So you're just, I'm looking things up. Like, so for example, who's Canyon Mims? Yeah. Why is he wearing that?
Starting point is 00:01:49 Well, so, you know, we talked about this a little bit before about, you know, kind of these characters that are sentimental to Islam and joining Islam and really being a spokesperson for it. He's one of those guys. They like the white kind of American kind of guy. How about we just play like a random one? Like Islam's not only for Arabs. Okay, let's go. I just want to see him with a bald head on.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Yes, sure. Ain't no way. Notice the caption. Yes, I'm white. Yes, I'm also Muslim. Islam is for everyone. He plays a lot on this. White Muslim does this or white guy reads Quran, you know.
Starting point is 00:02:29 All right, what about this one? One True Message Foundation. Yeah. Now, they do a lot of polemics against Christianity. Christians hate this question. Do we click that one? Have you seen this one? I have not. Let's do it. Jesus Christ, for example, he never possessed the qualities of God. Really? Is God all knowing all of the time? Is God all knowing all of the time? God is all knowing, yeah? All of the time. He never becomes ignorant. When you say he never becomes ignorant, you take away the fact that he limited himself in flesh. Whether you limit itself or you don't, either you stop being God or you're still God.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I know the point we are trying to get at. Jesus said only the father knows the time. Correct. So how do you reconcile that? Were there an all-knowing God? Jesus, he limited himself to be in human flesh. They are saying that just the fact that he came in flesh means that he cannot possess the attributes of God anymore. What you're trying to now say is that God is no more all-powerful.
Starting point is 00:03:16 It means that because I am God, I am so powerful that I can't limit my power. Now, is that not all-powerful? That's illogical. You said, Jesus is God. I said, did it possess the qualities of God? I said, God is all knowing all of the time. all of the time. Jesus Christ was not all-knowing. So how can he be the all-knowing God if he doesn't possess the knowledge of the hour? This is someone who is eternal. Yeah, this is a common objection.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Mark 1332, Mark Matthew 24, 36. Jesus doesn't know the hour, so therefore he's not all-knowing and isn't God. Now, this is the usual response that you get that, you know, that Christ came came in the flesh. He limited himself, veiled his knowledge and stuff like that. And so therefore, like, in his infinite nature and his divine nature, he still obviously has access to all knowledge. I take a different approach to this because if you look contextually, Jesus is talking about his coming, right? And in Matthew 22, he compares his coming to a Jewish wedding. And according to custom, a Jewish wedding, it's the father that announces the wedding day for the son, not the groom or the bride. However, the groom knows his own wedding day. He has to make preparations.
Starting point is 00:04:19 He has to send the invites, prepare the food. He knows his own wedding day. However, out of respect for the father, it's the father that makes it known or declares it. So in the way, when Jesus says no one knows the day or hour, not the angels or the son, but the father only, it's knowledge in the sense of declaring or making it known, not that Jesus is ignorant of the hour, but it's not for anyone, not the angels, not anyone else or himself, to declare or make it known. That's for the father to do. And you'll see an example of this in 1 Corinthians chapter 2, where Paul says in verse 2, in verse two, when I came to you, I decided to know nothing. Saying Greek word, Oiden, that Jesus uses, I decided to know nothing except Jesus Christ and
Starting point is 00:05:05 him crucified. Now, Matt, you help me out. Does this mean that Paul literally didn't have any other information in his head? He didn't know that he was a Roman citizen. He didn't know math. He didn't know the scriptures. He didn't know. Does that mean?
Starting point is 00:05:18 No. It means that he only made known Jesus and him crucified. That's what he declared. It's declarative knowledge, not cognitive knowledge. So when it comes to the hour, it's not for anyone to declare, but the father declares it. Now, here's the thing. Why don't the angels declare it or why don't man, why doesn't men declare it? Well, that's because they don't know all things.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Jesus then continues and says, just as in the days of Noah when they were eating and drinking before the flood and they didn't know when the flood was coming, so it will be the son of man's coming, right? Emphasizing their ignorance. He also goes in to say, it's also like a master who, goes on a long journey and leaves his stewards in charge of his house. The stewards are to be faithful amongst the house and stay alert for they do not know when their master is going to return. Now in this parable, who's the master? Jesus. Does the master not know when he's going to
Starting point is 00:06:07 return to his own house? Of course he does. It's the students and the servants who don't know. He emphasizes their ignorance, not his own. So it's not for anyone to declare, not even the son, he leaves that for the father to do. Very easy. Well, let's find another one. Find one contradiction Maybe in the Quran, let's see this. Yeah, it should be. Yeah, it's made by human, it's not made by God. The Quran has zero. Yeah, I'm gonna read it and let you know.
Starting point is 00:06:30 The Quran has zero. You know what? Come on, perfection doesn't need this. The Quran makes that claim. If this is from anyone other than creator, then find one contradiction inside it. Okay, you have a challenge. Every Saturday?
Starting point is 00:06:41 Okay, I'll be there. We'll see you soon. Have a good day. Bye. Take care. Bye-bye. He's absolutely right. Alright. Yep, chapter four, it says,
Starting point is 00:06:49 if there is, if this book is from anyone other than Allah, then there will be many contradictions in it. Okay, and he says, just find one. We got a couple. I'll give you one. You got chapter 12, verse 111, it says that the Quran is a detailed explanation of all things. Not some things, not of the important things. It's a detailed explanation of all things and a guidance and a mercy for those who believe.
Starting point is 00:07:17 So the Quran is a detailed explanation of everything. But in chapter 3, verse 7, it's a detail. it says that in the Quran, it's in truth, and it has clear verses. In it are verses that are clear. These are the foundation of the book. And there are verses that are ambiguous, unclear. And it even goes on to say that those who are deviance try to use the unclear verses to try to deceive and trick the Muslim, the believers.
Starting point is 00:07:44 And it says that no one knows the meaning of these verses except Allah. And even people of knowledge just say, we believe in all of them. it, all of it's from Allah. So not even the scholars know the meaning of these verses. Only Allah does. So how is it then that the Quran has clear verses in it and ambiguous verses in it, while at the same time being a detailed explanation of everything, a full explanation where all of his verses are detailed? Those can't work at the same time. That's a literal contradiction. That's just one. You can give us more? I can give you another one. You want another one? Yeah, I'll give you another one. This one's fun to use too. So you have in Chapter 35 verse 18,
Starting point is 00:08:21 it says, no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. Even if a close relative tried to ask him, no, he cannot do it, he cannot bear it. His sins will be his and his good deeds will be his, right? So no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. You cannot take on another person's burdens, i.e. sins. But then you have chapter 16, verse 25, that says that they will bear their own burdens in full, meaning everything that belongs to them, all their burdens, they'll bear it in full, as well as some of the burdens of others whom they've misled.
Starting point is 00:09:02 So not only will they bear their own burdens, but they're also going to carry some of the sins of people that they've misled as well. So one says no bearer of burdens can bear the burdens of another. This one says, oh, yeah, they can if they misled them. They don't work. It's a contradiction. Should we go to one more, or should we find someone else to look at it? Let's do one more. Maybe he redeems himself in one of these videos.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Oh, okay. Yeah, let's have a look. Yeah. The Quran confirms the Bible. Oh, let's do it. See. The Quran says, if you don't know the answer to this, look into the Bible, right? Who's the Quran telling to do that? Me? As a Muslim? No. The Quran told the Jews to go and look at the scripture that they had because the law was in their scripture.
Starting point is 00:09:44 The law for what? The law for punishment of the one who committed adultery. The Jews, they didn't want to do the punishment. So the Quran is for the Jewish? Why are you saying? You look at the Quran, when it came down, some of the revelation, it was time specific. What does that mean? An incident would happen and Allah would reveal something in the Quran. There were times when the Jews would have an issue and instead of going to their own scripture
Starting point is 00:10:07 because they knew there was a punishment there, they would come to the Prophet sallelah and they would say, judge between us. So the Quran at that time there was revelation that said, isn't it in your own scriptures? Go-in look, their punishment's there for you already. Are you already? Is I answer you a question? Yeah, we're going to look into it. All right.
Starting point is 00:10:22 So, man, so deceptive. So first of all, the brother, the first reference he mentioned where it says the Quran tells you that if you don't know something to go back to the Bible, right? The Muslim didn't know what he was referring to. Oh, really? He went to the wrong reference. What he was referring to was chapter 10 verse 94 where it says, if you are in doubt, talking to Muhammad, if you are in doubt about that which we have revealed to you, then go
Starting point is 00:10:48 ask those who've been reading the scripture before you. The truth has come to you from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt. So that's the verse the brother's talking about. He didn't remember it all the way correctly. And the Muslim didn't even know what he was talking about. He assumed something else. So he just says, well, who was he talking about there? Who is he talking to?
Starting point is 00:11:04 To me? No, he's talking to Jews. No, he's not. He's talking to Muhammad. He's telling Muhammad, if you're doubting what the Quran is saying, go back to the Bible. Go ask those who read the Bible so that they can confirm what you have, what you have. So then that, so look, to doubt means to be uncertain about the truth of a thing, right? That's what doubt means.
Starting point is 00:11:25 So if Muhammad is uncertain about the truth in the Quran, he can get the truth in the Bible. That's what the Quran is saying. Now, if he, so this is supposed to help clear up his doubts that he might have, right? So this would mean that if he goes in checks and he sees that the Quran is not matching up with what they have, then he'll know that the Quran is false and his doubts are actually good. He has reasons to doubt. So, yeah, the brother was right. and the Muslim didn't know what he was talking about.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Now, the other part that he's mentioned in is like, well, you know, the Jews went to Muhammad for a ruling. They didn't want to go with their scriptures. This is chapter 5, verse 43. It says, why do they come to you for judgment when they have the Torah in which Allah's judgment is in? Even still they turn away. What the Quran is saying there
Starting point is 00:12:07 is that they are able to judge by their book because it's the revelation of Allah. They don't need you. They have their book. Notice, this is done with the Jews. This is done with the Christians. not with the polytheists, not with the pagan eras, because they don't have the revelation of Allah.
Starting point is 00:12:22 The only reason why the Jews are able to stick with their scriptures is because it's the revelation of Allah. Right? So, yes, the Quran affirms our books, says we ought to judge by it, affirms the authority of it, and affirms it as the standard of truth. The Quran's out of line with it, the Quran's false. Something about September that feels like getting another January.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Summer is over. Everybody's back into a routine. Irish events start filling the calendar again and you suddenly realize there are only a few months left in the year. What is happening right now? So single Catholics who are watching me. Hi, if you spent the summer saying, I'll get serious about dating in the fall, well, hello, it's full. I know that putting off things can be a lot easier than not putting off things, but it's time to stop putting this off if you do in fact feel like you're being called to marriage. You don't need to make finding a spouse, your full-time occupation, right? But you do have to give God
Starting point is 00:13:22 something to work with. Pray like it depends on God, follow up like it depends on you. That's where Catholic match comes in. It's built specifically for Catholics looking for meaningful relationships and ultimately marriage, and don't spend all full messaging people. If the conversation's going well, then you should try to meet for coffee, go to a parish event, make an actual date. rejection might happen. Not to me. No one's ever rejected me because I'm so beautiful, but it might happen to you. And that's okay. A date that doesn't lead anywhere isn't necessarily a failure. It gave you information and moved you one step closer to understanding what you're actually looking for. The only guaranteed way to go nowhere is to do nothing. And I was just joking, by the way,
Starting point is 00:14:06 I've been rejected so many times. I can't count. Create a profile for free and get started at Catholicmatch.com. That's Catholicmatch.com. Go make the introduction. Catholic Match is free to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and it's free to create a profile. Think about the Rosary. It's small, it's simple, you can carry it around in your pocket, you pray the same familiar prayers over and over, and yet the church has this extraordinary history of turning to the rosary at moments when things were anything but small. We tend to think, powerful things need to look impressive, but here's this simple string of beads. Catholics have carried into wars, crises, hospital rooms,
Starting point is 00:14:45 marriages, ordinary Tuesday mornings. October is the month of the rosary, and we remember two extraordinary moments in particular. At Leponto, Christians turn to the rosary as Christendom faced Turkish invasion. And centuries later at Fatima, our lady manifested her presence to the crowds in the miracle of the sun. The rosary has long been a prayer of peace and a prayer that doesn't merely shape history, it shapes us. That's what my friend Father Gregory Pine is going to explore in the new spiritual exercise from Exodus 90 called Holy Speech. Beginning October 1st, Father Pine is leading the Exodus 90 Brotherhood through the letter of St. James, reflecting on something every man needs to take seriously,
Starting point is 00:15:29 our words. Because your words don't simply express who you are, they help shape the man you're becoming. And learning to sanctify our speech through prayer, beginning with its highest purpose, the praise of God, is part of becoming free in Christ. Holy Speech with Father Gregory Pine begins October. first on the Exodus 90 app. Download the Exodus 90 app to start your 14-day free trial and visit Exodus 90.com slash Matt to learn more.
Starting point is 00:15:52 That's Exodus 90.com slash Matt. Where's that place in London where people get together? Speaker's Corner. Is that you being there? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've been there quite a few times. We took it over. Let's have a look.
Starting point is 00:16:04 If Jesus is God, why does he have something? Yeah, let's try it. Let's try this one. Yeah. Is that the one? Jesus Christ, he said, my father and your father, my God, and? God. If he was God just rationally, does God need a God? Is God need a God?
Starting point is 00:16:18 I just, I love that like, he says once and it's like, nowhere is going. No. So how can he be God? You see when you said that last week, my father. Explain that last week. I'll show you. John chapter 20, verse 17. Jesus says, I'm ascending to my father and your father and to my God and your God. You just accepted that God doesn't need a God.
Starting point is 00:16:34 So if God doesn't need a God and you say this man is God, but he also has a God. How does that make sense? Yeah, it's confusing. You're kind of showing to yourself here where he can't be God, because he has a God himself. If someone has a God himself. If someone has a God, I should worship that God, not him. Yeah, now see, now this is an argument I can trip up anyone, right? Jesus very clearly, he's this, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:51 I'm going to my father and your father, to my God and your God. If Jesus is God, how can he have a God? God can't have a God. That's the argument. And so for anyone who hasn't looked into this, that can trip them up very easily. But here, the Bible is so beautiful. Number one, in Jeremiah, chapter 32, verse 27, it says, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Is there anything too hard for me? Here's the key point. He's the God of all flesh, right? Now, Jesus, who we all know to be God, it says this about him, it says that in the beginning was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God. Verse 14, what happens to the word? He becomes flesh. And so it's at this point when Jesus takes on flesh is when that relational dynamic happens where the Father becomes his God pertaining to his flesh. not that he's a separate deity from the father, but that relationally through the flesh he becomes his God. Because as humans, we have God.
Starting point is 00:17:45 We have God as our father, right? So it's the same thing with Jesus. So Jesus can say that he has a God over him as a humble servant and a human in relation to his flesh. That's why Psalm 22, which is Messianic, in verse 10 it says, from my mother's womb, you have been my God. Not before.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Before the mother's womb, this dynamic wasn't in place. It wasn't until he takes on flesh that the Father becomes his God in that way. That's why he can say this even in heaven. Why not just say that Christ is a divine being who has two natures? So he's speaking from his human nature. Or is essentially what you're saying? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Christ has two natures.
Starting point is 00:18:24 And so pertaining to his human nature, he has a God over him. That's it. It's in relation to his human nature. All right. Well, let's do one more. Jesus never preached your Bible. Yes. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:18:36 Yeah, Jesus never preached the Bible. Let me ask you, do you think that the Bible that you have today is the gospel that Jesus Christ was preaching on earth? Yep. So Jesus Christ, according to you, was preaching Mark, Matthew, Luke and John. Individuals who wrote about him, some of whom had never met him. In fact, these gospels were anonymous for the first two centuries of Christianity after Jesus Christ. And then they were given these names of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John to give them some validity by Irenaeus and other church fathers. That's why it's attributed to Mark Matthew, Luke and John.
Starting point is 00:19:03 And Luke, for example, had never met Jesus Christ. You read Luke, you read the first five verses, he says, this is an orderly account that he felt fit to write because those who were eyewitnesses before him had written it. So he was not an eyewitness. You have a problem. No, no, you have a problem. Because you said that the gospel that Jesus Christ was preaching on earth when he was here was the Bible you have today. And I've shown you clearly the Bible you have today is a biography of Jesus Christ. How does that make sense?
Starting point is 00:19:25 All right, here's what I want you to imagine, all right? You're just minding your own business walking through this lovely little farmer's market and you see him look at this delightful Christian woman and say, no, you have a problem. I want you, what I want you to do is to step in, just gently press her aside and engage him. What would you say? Yeah, so I was like, no, sir, no, the problem is yours. You have the problem because, number one, your question is a trick question. You're saying that you're asking, did Jesus preach the Bible that you have today? Of course, he didn't preach the Bible, but the Bible contains what he preached. That's the whole point of what Matthew, Mark, Luke, John wrote down. They wrote down what he preached. So what you're really asking is, is do, does the Bible that we have today contain what Jesus preached? The answer to that is yes. It's a question. It's, It's a trick question. So when he's like, oh, so was Jesus going around preaching Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John? It's such a silly question. It's such bad faith.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Like, no one would take that seriously. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are accounts that took down what Jesus preached. We find what he taught in their writings. Now here's, so he said that Jesus never met Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Okay, so he doesn't meet Luke. Luke says he's getting it from the eyewitnesses. done. He doesn't meet Mark. Mark is getting it from Peter, who is a direct disciple of Jesus. John, direct disciple of Jesus.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Matthew, direct disciple of Jesus, the tax collector. What are you talking about? If you want to say that he never met Mark and Luke in person, fine. But the eyewitnesses who they're getting it from, that's who they were with them. They're the ones who held them, beheld them and touched them with their hands. That's their testimony. That's why Luke is getting it from them. That's number one. Number two. Number three, here's what's beautiful. If he's saying that so many lies, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John are names that are attributed later. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:15 That no one knew, no one knew they were anonymous. They were anonymous. No. The entire early church from the beginning to the end is unanimous, has always been unanimous on the authorship of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Matthew, Luke, Luke, Luke, John, Mark, Roelmark at the dictation of Peter. That's where we get it from, from the early church tradition who knew the apostles. Right. What are you on about, bro?
Starting point is 00:21:38 What's going on there? But it's this common lie, this trope, this talking point that they like to run. And like we have often said in debates with atheists, if you are going to attribute the gospels to somebody, you would attribute them to Peter? Yes. Maybe Jesus himself? Maybe the Blessed Virgin, his father. Thomas?
Starting point is 00:21:56 Yeah. But maybe Barnabas? The fact that they are more obscure than maybe you want, at least a couple of them, is kind of an indirect proof of their potential authenticity. Exactly, exactly. You notice that's what we see with the false gospels, right? With the Gnostics. We see prominent names on the Gnostic Gospels,
Starting point is 00:22:14 but not on the authentic gospels. That shows the evidence of their, like you said, the authenticity. It was interesting in the episode we did earlier on Pints of Aquinas, you were talking about how it's so important that Christians be forceful, like loving but forceful. And you can see that in the way these fellas are addressing themselves to these people. Like, they're not, hey there. Would it be okay if I shared the Quran with you?
Starting point is 00:22:39 Yes, literally. And notice they're pressing. You have the problem. You have the problem. Not afraid. How can God have a God? Explain that. Like, they're pressing, you know?
Starting point is 00:22:48 And then, you know, obviously they're not learned. So they don't know how to deal with these type of questions, which is like, guys, do not go into these booths if you do not know and you're not aware of the faith and know how to defend it. You know, there's a difference between reading it and, you know, having your Bible studies. and defending the faith. You know, I would think too, though, if you weren't confident to defend Christ or the scriptures and you found yourself in a conversation like this,
Starting point is 00:23:15 one thing you might try is go, hey, all right, for the sake of argument, maybe you're right, maybe Christianity's false. I'd love to learn more about Islam. Could you tell me about Muhammad? Could you tell me about, like, what you believe, the difference between the Sunnis and the Quran onlys
Starting point is 00:23:28 and just let them talk. I had a feeling that you're going to find some inconsistencies. Yeah, 100% if you're not. It's just, if Christianity fails, it doesn't make Islam false. But at the same time, they have to be able to catch the inconsistencies too. Yeah. You know? Because after their faith has just been like, okay, dang, they got me.
Starting point is 00:23:49 So then what's Islam? I'm not sure they would have that energy or that confidence to be paying attention to the inconsistencies. Yeah. Doctors told Alba pregnancy was impossible. Her husband's diagnosis confirmed it. A child of their own simply was not going to happen. Then, the impossible happened. Alba was pregnant. We might call it a miracle, but to Alba, it didn't feel like one. That positive pregnancy test felt like a mistake,
Starting point is 00:24:16 a cruel twist of science she didn't understand or want. Nothing added up. She had accepted pregnancy wasn't possible. This baby was never planned. Suddenly, she was confused, afraid, and overwhelmed. What should have felt like a miracle felt like a crisis. Then Alba walked into a pre-born network clinic. She was welcome with compassion and given a free ultrasound. And when she saw her baby and heard that tiny heartbeat, everything changed. Fear gave way to hope and Alba chose life. Well, today, baby Laura is healthy and thriving. A reminder that when God is writing the story, impossible doesn't get the final word. Right now, another mother needs that moment and you can give it to her. Just $28 helps provide one life-saving ultrasound.

Let's look up a Sheila, a girl. I mean, is there like one of these? Yeah, yeah. What about Cora? Yeah, you can put it in Cora.
Starting point is 00:26:47 All right, let's see. The Hadith is the words of men, question mark. Muhammad versus Paul. There you go. I'll do Muhammad versus Paul. Yeah? All right. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:26:56 I'm here to defend Paul with my whole chest, and I'm going to show you why it's absolutely ridiculous that Muslims trashed. No, that's not core. This is about to be a response. So that's a Christian. Oh, by the way, ex-Muslim apologist. Oh, really? Yeah, ex-Muslim apologists.
Starting point is 00:27:09 And they hate her. They hate her. She good? Yeah, yeah. She knows her stuff, man. I'm here to defend Paul with my whole chest, and I'm going to show you why it's absolutely ridiculous that Muslims trash talk Paul so much, yet genuinely believe that Muhammad was a real prophet.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Why do we believe in the Prophet Muhammad, Sallu, a day, and disbelieve in Paul of Tarsus? Well, maybe because the Prophet Muhammad, people. and blessings be upon him, honored Jesus and respected Jesus, and Paul did the exact opposite. Galatians 3, verse 13, reads, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse, for it is written cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole. Now, interesting. Not only is Paul saying that Jesus became a curse and thus is cursed, let's go ahead and look at the verse that Paul is quoting. Paul is quoting the book of Deuteronomy chapter 21, verse 23. If someone is guilty of a capital offense is put to death and their body is exposed on a pole.
Starting point is 00:28:10 You must not leave the body hanging on the pole overnight. Be sure to bury it that same day because anyone who is hung on a pole is under God's curse. So according to the Apostle Paul, Jesus was cursed by God. But I thought Jesus was God. Did God curse God? How does that work? Now, I would much rather follow a man that... I just want to say, I like her editing.
Starting point is 00:28:38 It's really... She's doing a good job. Yeah, she got some money work. I'm doing it for it. I believe that he was the Messiah, a messenger of God and a prophet and a blessing everywhere he went. Rather than believing in a man who accuses my beloved prophet of being under the curse of God. So there you go. Paul, she's accusing Paul of attacking her beloved prophet Jesus.
Starting point is 00:29:01 Yeah. There's a take. Yeah, it's amazing because if we're talking about honoring, now we're going to deal with this silly objection, but if we're talking about honoring, notice this. Would it be honoring, let's say to your mother, for example, if you said that your mother, you introduce your mother to me, she's a beautiful woman, very nurturing, a kind woman, a pillar in her community, but she's not my mother. She's a good friend of mine. Is that honoring? No. No. It's actually very disrespectful, right? You said all this.
Starting point is 00:29:32 words, but it's completely dishonoring and disrespectful to your mother because that's your mother who birthed you. In the same way, Muhammad would say that Jesus is the Messiah. He says that Jesus is a prophet and messenger of God, but he says that Jesus is not the son of God and that it doesn't befit God to have a son, and that to say such a thing causes the earth to crumble at this disgusting utterance that Christ is a son of God or that Allah has a son. So when you deny who Jesus is, similar to how you deny who your mother is, is completely dishonoring, even if you speak sweet words. So that's number one. Now, with Paul, let's do this really quick. Let's read this in context. This is Galatians chapter three. Let's start at verse 10. For as many as are of the works of the law
Starting point is 00:30:17 are under a curse, for it is written, cursed as everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law and to do them. Now that no one is justified by the law before God is evident for the righteous shall live by faith. However, the law is not of faith. Rather, he who does them shall live by them. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, for it is written cursed as everyone who hangs on a tree. So first of all, Paul pictures Jesus as this redeemer, this savior who takes upon the curse for me. How is that dishonoring? That's exactly what he said he would do. He said that the son of man came not to serve but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many. That's what Jesus says in Mark. So Paul, echoing Jesus's
Starting point is 00:31:10 word, says that Christ is our redeemer who ransomed himself and redeemed us by taking on the curse himself. That's dishonoring. That's exactly what Jesus taught. Now, notice this. He goes on to say, in order that in Christ Jesus, the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so not just the Israelites, but to the Gentiles, all the world, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. This sounds like Paul is greatly honoring our Lord, acknowledging as our means of salvation, the fundamental foundation of our faith, redeemer of all mankind, not just some little circle, little square on the earth. This is honoring to, amen, Paul. Thank you, Lord Christ, for taking on the curse upon yourself and killing and destroying the curse. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:31:57 It's also seems like she's intent on misunderstanding, Paul. It would be like reading St. Augustine, who said of the original sin, oh, happy fault, which merited for us such a redeemer. And then going, oh, really? Yeah. Faults are happy? It's like when my kids argue, I'm like, you're trying to misunderstand. Yeah, you're doing it on purpose. Yeah. That's a bad argument. A lot of music. It's been awesome. Yeah, this is fun.
