What's up guys?
Welcome to perilous storytelling
What's up, guys?
Welcome to perilous storytelling,
or at least we tried our fucking hardest.
I think we're cursed.
Whenever I'm like, oh yeah, we have to delay an episode, guys, I'm sorry.
We have to delay an episode.
It hasn't been subliminal space.
It didn't work out very well.
People are like, oh, ha ha, ha.
Like, every other DND campaign does that.
It's totally fine.
It's like, I don't think every other D&D campaign has to fight the elements like we do.
literally. It's because we're also so fixed to the schedule. Yeah, we are. We don't have a lot of
different time zones and people have jobs. Yeah, we don't really, we can't really do much,
but we don't, we don't have any loose time to play. So we kind of have to, we kind of have to
deal with the elements. Like today, we're supposed to record, but then Cameron had his entire
street shut the power down while they were doing construction and Mandy, um,
man he just had shit coming out of his um poop explosion yeah his pipes is just a
like simple literal poop coming out of the pipes flowing into his basement i was actually kind of
curious because he was saying like yeah there's just poop coming out of my um out of my pipes
and i was like oh okay there's poop coming out of your pipes and he was like yeah it's been
going on for like a few weeks around the neighborhood and i i i think i think i missed that part i just
saw the picture of poop in his basement. Apparently it's like a problem in his neighborhood. There's
shit coming out of the pies in his neighborhood. Dude. Oh yeah. Look at that. It's been sporadic.
Yeah, it's been sporadic around his neighborhood. And then he was just told to evacuate at
7 p.m. when we were supposed to start. So now we're recording a PSD. That's not the worst of the,
and this is every episode. Like we are actually batting a hundred on the number of times something
happens. Thing is something happens
and then it'll fix itself sometimes.
Shit coming out of the pipes
is not a thing that you can really fix.
The funniest thing is he was like, oh, I can just
put some stuff on my laptop and I can just
record it on the laptop. And then 10 minutes later
he said, the city workers have informed me I need to
leave the place for health and safety.
To be fair,
that picture was literally showing
us poop go out of the pipes.
And then Cameron said if we could wait
five hours to record, we could.
It's currently like 8 p.m. on
the East Coast.
7.8. Yeah.
That's not the worst one we had, though.
If you don't, because I don't think we talked about it.
I don't think we ever talk about the fact that one time we had to stop because a tornado
hit your neighborhood.
We were getting ready to record.
And then I said, hey, there's like a tornado warning.
I'll be right back.
And then my power went out for two weeks because I got hit by a tornado.
It was really close to.
It was like dangerous.
It was like within a mile of my house.
Yeah.
Fucking nuts.
Honestly, my house was fine.
It was just the power was fucked.
up for two weeks. And I was, I was so pissed
because the same, like, a day
before that happened, I just got
a brand new fight stick. And I was like, I can't wait to play
Tekken on those. And then I couldn't
play Tekken with it. Oh, fuck.
Dude, it's been rough. If you, if you
ever wonder, hmm, when's the next
fucking Subliminal Space episode? I don't
know. Is Mother Nature going
let us have a fun time?
I feel like one day, I'm just going to learn
that there's actually somebody in my walls
before recording and I'm going to have to,
I don't know, grab a pickack
and try to pick it pickax him out.
It's the return of the witch.
Jack Black's in your walls.
The witch is back.
If Jack Black was in my walls,
we would have the best cameo ever.
You think I wouldn't use that, Brendan?
Use that for clout.
Think about the awesome.
Instead of hearing your dog bark in the background of every video,
it'd be awesome.
Just give it about and do it down.
Come on, Cage.
I don't think they talk anymore.
I don't think he talks with Mr. Cage anymore.
That is, some things have happened.
What happened?
What happened?
Oh, I guess not everybody knows about this, but, um, yeah, so Kyle Gas, during a tenacious D show,
Calgas just came out and was like, pretty sure he, he literally was talking about the genocide
that was happening.
No, I remember.
I'm sorry.
Calgas made, no, you're, you're right.
He, he, he said don't miss Trump next time because he was talking about fucking.
I was going to say
I thought it was something with an assassination.
You're right.
You're right.
It was the Trump assassination.
And then Jack Black,
Jack Black was like,
you're off the team or whatever.
Their team of two.
Their team of two.
Yeah.
Most base thing ever.
Unfortunately,
Jack Black,
something has happened in recent years.
And I,
there's something about Jack Black.
The way he looks at me.
No,
not in that sense.
He was in the Minecraft movie.
He's going to be the second one.
Blackcraft movie.
He's going to say Tenacious D's not doing that one anymore.
I can talk about the guy I met in a bar in New York.
Yeah?
The only noteworthy story, I went to New York for like a whole weekend.
The last day I was there.
So I'm flying out on Monday.
Sunday football is going on.
So we watched a little bit of football.
And then afterwards it was like, oh, let's go to this pizza place I like.
And then we can walk to a bar for Sunday night football.
So nothing of note happens.
It was a nice little pizza place.
We walked over to this bar.
The second slate of games is just finishing up.
So we probably got there like 630 or something.
And we go to sit down.
There's a guy in a 49ers jersey.
Base, base, base, base, base.
He's there with like maybe three or four other people.
He was wearing a Debo jersey.
Listen, I, unfortunately, I have the same one.
Yeah.
So it's fine.
It's fine.
We were, we were believers until he fucking decay.
Not a hack.
That's not the word.
A diva.
Washed.
Wash.
Oh, okay, sure.
We can also use diva.
It's just usually the times that I think of me not liking receivers anymore.
It's because they're a little bit of a diva.
They're, oh, dude, there are always divas.
But Debo specifically is just kind of fucking.
Yeah.
Anyways.
Okay, so we go to sit down.
Guys sitting there, he's talking to like three other people.
Me and my buddy pull up empty seats at the bar and we start like getting ready.
And he's, you know, kind of set up like next to where we were sitting down.
There wasn't a whole lot of room.
And he goes, oh, hey, sorry, guys.
Very obviously like a little tipsy at this point.
He's like I've got like all these seats up here reserved and I was like oh you know that's fine man it's whatever will move
I didn't I just didn't see anything he's like oh no I'm just fucking with you I'm messing with you
So he introduces himself to me his name's Steph and I introduce myself back this is not the first time that I will introduce myself to him
Doni it so the the way that the bar looks right now is are our new friend Steph
Myself my friend and then like a really big dude sitting next to my buddy who's there with like his friend or whatever sit and talking
I'm talking to the guy about football
he's talking about the Niners
they're currently winning their game
everybody else around him is like
hey we're getting ready to go we're getting ready to go
he closes out his tab
grabs all his stuff goes outside
I was like all right that guy was pretty nice
I'll never see him again
I'll never see him again is what I think to myself
yeah then we start talking to the guy
to my friends right
and I'm not getting like any weird vibes
from this guy I never got this gentleman's name
after like maybe 10 minutes
of this just being like a normal bar experience
Steph comes back into the bar
He's pumped. Game just ended.
He's going to get one more beer just to kind of celebrate a random week two 49ers win over the dolphins.
Sure.
Yeah.
To be fair, the 49ers have been pulling out some pretty good wins.
Sits back down.
He starts talking to me again.
He introduces himself to me a second time.
And I said, yeah, I know.
We already talked.
I'm shaking his hand.
I was like, do you remember my name?
And he was like, uh, I was like, all right.
And I introduced myself again.
I was like, this guy's way more fucked up than I thought he was.
Or he was doing something outside.
Yeah.
He was in a time loop.
He came out and then came out and then was like, oh my God.
Dude, the Niners.
The Niners are-N-Riner's game is starting.
The Niners are kicking off again.
Okay, so Knight kind of keeps going on like normal.
The guy to my left is talking with the bartender.
It's like, okay, this guy's obviously a regular here.
He's got a good rapport with this guy or he's just really friendly.
And him and the guy to my friend's right.
So across the two of us kind of start like busting each other's balls at the bar.
And I was like, oh, you know, maybe these guys know each other.
And we just kind of sat down in the middle of those.
Hammers and all.
I don't remember the exact reason that the guy said it, but Steph says something about like white women.
Steph is, this will be important later in the story.
White women?
No, not white women, not women.
Seth is a white woman.
Steph is black in Puerto Rican.
The guy sitting to our right is a big white guy.
In the way that I was describing him to people, I said he looks like Kentucky ballistics.
if instead of muscular he was fat and he was like 20 years older.
Kentucky ballistics.
He's a gun YouTuber.
He's a big ass dude.
So this is a pretty large individual, but he's not like jacked by any means.
This should have been the first red flag, but the guy to our right's drunk, the guy to our left is drunk.
I'm on my first beer.
I just got here.
My friend is not currently drinking.
He gets like super offended about that.
He's like, oh, you're going to make this about race now.
Knight keeps going on like normal.
This is when we get hit with the first strange question from the guy to our right.
He says, what's your guys' opinion on stuff?
I'm asking for the sake of argument.
Or not argument, the sake of conversation.
He's asking our opinion on stuff.
And I say, what do you mean stuff?
Like stuff just in general.
And he goes, you know, like stuff.
And he does a weird hand motion where he just like moves his hand up and down like in a karate chop kind of way.
And I don't know how to answer this.
I'm like, I guess it's fine.
Like it could be better.
It could probably be better.
And he's like, yeah, you know, better.
Better is good.
My friend who lives in New York is like,
I don't know, Mom Donnie's doing a good job with the city.
Oh, no.
I have such a, there's no fucking way.
There's no fucking way it's going to end well.
This does not tip anything off.
He asks him in a drunken New Yorker,
a big white guy kind of way.
Oh, yeah, really?
You think so?
Not like in an argumentative kind of way.
I think he was like genuinely curious if my friend was like,
yeah.
I think Ben Dunny's doing great.
So they're talking again.
At this point,
Steph to my left starts talking crazy.
He's closed out again.
But it's fine because he's ordered another beer.
That'll so that shuts him up.
After closing up.
At that point,
just don't open tabs, man.
Just fucking just pay on,
just pay the boba.
You get it.
Jesus.
I asked the guy,
oh,
what are you drinking?
He's drinking a pumpkin ale.
And I was like,
oh,
is it any good?
And he's like,
yeah,
it's great.
And he starts screaming for the bartender.
as loud as he can at the top of his lung, the bartender's name.
And he's like, get, get this guy, get this guy, uh, get this guy a taster of the, the pumpkin
ale I'm drinking.
Make sure you put the, the big pussy rim on it.
The big pussy rim on it.
Big pussy rim.
And then he points at the cinnamon rim on his little drink.
It's getting a little weird with that guy to our right.
Again, talking crazy to my left.
Who's, okay, you got to, I'm going to be real.
You got to stop with the right and left.
You got to start using words.
Steph, Steph is to my left.
Kentucky for the fucking
the yeah
All right
Steph is to my left
The big guys to my right
Kentucky is to your right
Kentucky asks me
What jersey I'm wearing
Because I'm not wearing
An NFL jersey
I'm wearing a Gaelic football jersey
Oh
Because I didn't want to wear Brown's jersey
And he says
Is that soccer
And I said no it's not soccer
And he goes
Is it Irish football
And I was like
Oh this guy noticed
That he's talking about
Well that's a very
That's very niche actually
That bro knows ball
So we started talking about Ireland
And Steph butts in
And he's like
I know you guys are
having a conversation. He's fucking hammered
at this point. He's been talking crazy to me
for the last like 15 minutes. About stuff.
And he starts talking about, no,
well, so not about stuff.
Okay. He thought I was in
a band, and when I kept telling him, no,
I'm not in a band, he kept telling me that he could get me
set up. Me and my band could get set up, because
you just have the vibe of like a drummer or a guitarist
or something.
And it's because I had painted nails in
long hair. Recruiting band members
based off vibe. At a random bar
in New York. Buts in, and he's
starts talking about a bar that he went to in Turkey.
And Kentucky, for some reason, it's like, you've never been to Turkey.
You've never been there.
Why not?
What airlines you fly on?
Kentucky's also fucking hammered at this point.
He was pretty drunk before.
I don't know.
Of all the fucking things to not believe someone on.
You've never been there.
What the fuck?
He started grilling him.
Like, when did you go?
What airline did you fly through?
What airport did you fly out of?
Oh, my God.
And he kept going, I'm not trying to, like, argue or anything.
I'm just curious is all.
I'm just curious.
I'm not trying to...
But also at the same time...
This feels like such a fucking Tim Robinson bit.
What the fuck?
So I'm only like maybe a beer and a half in sitting between these two drunk guys, like,
getting into it over whether or not Steph had been to Turkey.
Honestly, I don't think Steph has ever been to Turkey.
Because he was not able to answer these questions.
Some of them were kind of semantics because they were like, what airport did you fly out?
Because, you know, New York's got JFK and LaGuardia.
And he said, oh, we flew out.
of the one in Manhattan.
And Kentucky goes, ah, gonna have done that.
There's no airport in Manhattan.
What the fuck?
We did figure out that he flew out of JFK because my friend asked him questions.
He was like, how did you get to the airport?
This was only like a few years ago, too.
So I genuinely don't know how the guy didn't remember like anything about flying to Turkey.
Well, he was really fucking wasted.
Like they kind of separate for a little bit.
Oh, they'll be back.
Kentucky avenger.
I think he like goes to the bathroom or something.
Then this is when Kentucky asks the fucking funniest question I've ever been asked
the bar by a drunk guy.
As soon as Steph leaves, he just goes,
what are your guys' allegiances?
Oh my God, it's the Grand Vizier.
Oh, my God.
The Grand Vizier.
He pulls out his Aces Republic of Gamer's laptop,
and he pulls up parts of Iron Four and says,
are you ready to game?
I genuinely didn't know what was happening.
Because, like, I only got like,
I know exactly what that question means, dude.
I'm going to be real.
I understand.
Now I know.
Because if it wasn't what you think it's going to be,
I wouldn't be telling the story.
But what are your guys,
his allegiances is a question that was asked
to me and my friend and I'm like stunned
for a second because I was like what the fuck is this guy asking
me and I was like I don't know
I'm a pretty big like Browns fan
I'm with the Sith as soon as I say I'm a Browns friend
he goes nobody's afraid of that
what I don't
nobody's afraid of that was his answer
when he asked my allegiance and I said I really like
the Browns this is who was this
this was a Steph or Kentucky
no this was Kentucky this was Kentucky
Steph has just been talking crazy
this is when
this is when Kentucky starts
Dude, the vibe shifts.
How late was this at that point?
This was not even eight o'clock.
Sunday night football.
My God.
I am shit.
No.
What the fuck?
This was like bars is close soon.
No, this was eight o'clock.
Oh my God.
I was waiting for Sunday night football to start so I could turn the conversation back to football.
Yeah.
Because it's getting weird.
It hasn't even started.
Where the, was this like a, uh, uh, uh,
What kind of bar was this?
Was this like an Irish pub?
This was a sports bar.
It's a sports bar.
The fuck client.
What is that?
Are your guys as allegiance?
Show your soul to me.
What?
What kind of beer you drink?
I've been, I've just been asking people that unprompted for like a week and a half now.
What are your guys' allegiances?
The hoard comes over the mountain.
Who will you fight?
Who will you fight for?
Steph comes back from the bathroom.
and then him and Kentucky
are getting into it again for like no fucking reason.
Steph walks over to Kentucky's chair
and like gets close to him
and like asks him a question and I don't
I didn't even hear what the question was
but I did hear Kentucky's
response involve the N word
hard R N word
in this random sports bar
so at this point like I'm on alert
I was like somebody's gonna
somebody's gonna hit somebody and if somebody's hitting somebody
I might jump up and hit Kentucky
why wait you pit so you just decided
you were like yeah, fuck Kentucky.
Well, yeah, he just said the N word.
If there's a bar fight, I'm smashed.
Oh, wait, he said the N word.
Kentucky says it.
Yeah, no.
I thought, Steph asked him a question.
Kentucky's the one who said it.
So I was like, there's going to be a fight here shortly.
Okay.
I need to lock in.
Because I spent the next like 20 minutes of interactions back and forth between these two drunks,
watching everybody's hands because I was like, if I see a fist, I might need to stand up.
So obviously, you know, like upset, leaves.
I'm assuming to talk to the bartender.
and or the manager of the place.
So I'm like, I'm not even looking at Kentucky
because this guy's gonna have to get fucking thrown out.
If they ask me, it's like, yeah, no, he absolutely called him that.
My friend, who bless his heart was like,
I could get through to this guy at 8 p.m.
in a random sports bar.
And he starts, like, talking to him about, like, hey, man.
This is when he starts talking, like, insanely crazy.
The cliff notes for this conversation,
because I was not getting a lot of it,
because I was like, I don't want to fucking listen to this guy talk.
Kentucky, super pro-Iran.
war. It's got to happen.
My friend
asks his opinions on the
U.S. as a whole and he says, we're the champions
maybe.
Okay.
Okay.
So the conversation
keeps continuing and he's like
trying to get through to this guy. Again,
afterwards he was like, there's a 1% chance
I could get through to this guy. I'm going to do it. I was like,
it's 8 p.m. and he's drunk at a sports bar and just
said the end word, I'm not talking to him.
Plus is fucking heart.
There's no shot.
So he's like trying to think of the best way to get through to him to be like,
I don't even know what the end goal is here.
So he's like, okay, this guy, we're the champions, pro-Iran war for some reason.
Surely this guy fucks with the troops.
Hey man, isn't it fucked up how veterans come back over here and they're treated so poorly
because the government doesn't care for them?
And the guy hits us with a crazy left of if they come back and they're homeless,
it's their fault for being free-loading moochers.
So at that point,
I was like,
surely it's going to get lost cause.
I don't even,
I don't even know where the fucking begin with that one,
because that just has no logic to,
there's no logic to that.
We finally revealed Kentucky's true colors as the median voter.
I look over,
Steph's still talking to the bartender and the manager,
and then he comes back over and gets on his seat to my left.
So I'm,
I was getting along with this guy for most of the night
before he started talking like absolutely crazy.
And I was just kind of letting him talk at me.
Yeah.
So I like understandably like how to put my arm around him.
Like, hey man, you good?
And he goes, I'm going to fucking kill this guy.
I'm going to fucking kill him.
And I was like, all right, everybody's drunk.
We don't need to do anything like crazy.
Kentucky sees that he's come back over.
Oh, no.
Steph's got his card, his vape and his phoneers kind of like spread out across where he was sitting on the table.
And Kentucky walks over in this way and leans over all of his stuff.
Like he's like daring him to try to grab it.
So again, I'm watching everybody's.
hands and they're kind of just like getting in a weird standoff.
For a lot the last little bit,
Steph's wife's been calling him and telling him to leave and he keeps hanging up on her.
So at this point, I'm like,
okay,
it's going to get like really bad because they're both standing up now.
Like there is probably going to be a flight.
So I like lean through like underneath Kentucky and grab all of
Steph's stuff.
And I'm like,
hey, man,
your wife was calling you before.
Maybe it's time you get going.
You just closed out.
It kind of diffuses it because Kentucky walks
back over because I think he realized he wasn't going to get what he wanted, which was, I think, for
Steph to reach towards him to get his stuff. So he sits back down. And then Steph's still a little
bit riled up. He sits down. I'm talking to him for a little bit. He's just talking crazy. He's like,
what a fucking asshole man? I was like, yeah, no, he's being a douchebag. He's a drunk asshole.
Like, who cares? This is when Steph is thrown out of the bar because he walks over to Kentucky's
table and starts climb, or not his table, sorry, his chair and starts to climb on the back
of it saying somebody is going to die
tonight, somebody's going to die tonight, like
really fucking loud.
He climbs on it.
He's like climbing onto the bag of it.
So it's like a high chair.
It's got that little bar along the bottom that you can like rest of your feet on.
You can't say that.
You can't call it a high chair because now in my head I'm like,
oh great,
a fucking sports bars for babies.
Yeah.
Okay.
It's,
you know,
it's a bar chair.
I know.
So he like puts his feet on like where you're so.
Yeah,
bar stool.
Yeah.
It's got a back.
It's got a back.
And at this point now, the manager has come out.
Evil dice tonight.
And he's like, hey, man, you need to go.
Like, for your own safety, you got to get out of here.
Because now you're getting loud and it's bothering everybody else.
How full was the place?
I'm guessing pretty full.
It wasn't that full, at least from what I could see.
There was a little dining area on the other side of like a low wall that when I walked to the bathroom,
there were a bunch of kids over there.
It was like a sports pub restaurant kind of deal.
Oh, it's like a restop pub where it's like the, okay, I see, I see.
It's a family restaurant.
And then Steph starts talking to Kentucky like nothing happened.
And they're just like back to busting each other's balls.
Did they know each other beforehand?
I don't think so.
Yeah, they, what if, yeah, maybe they planned this entire thing just to fuck with you.
Just to fuck with me?
That'd be so fucking hilarious.
That would actually be hilarious if at the end of the night, they're like, yeah, we were fucking with you the entire time.
So, so.
I'm not racist.
In like a really polite way.
in a really polite way is kicking Steph out of the bar.
He's like, you just got to grab your shit and go.
And Steph is like, no, I got to close out.
And he starts screaming for the bartender again.
He's like, am I good?
My good?
He's closed out three times already.
And the bartender says, yeah, you're good.
So the manager makes like a weird face at him and is like gesturing him for to leave.
Says goodbye to Kentucky.
Says goodbye to my friend.
Leans into his ear says, I'm going to put a bomb in that guy's fucking drink to my friend.
I'm going to put a bomb in that.
Put a bomb in that guy's fucking drink.
Oh my God.
And then says goodbye to me, grabs all his shit, and he leaves.
And I was like, okay, now I just need to ignore Kentucky for the rest of the night.
Five minutes later, Steph walks back into the bar again.
Holy shit.
And starts talking to the bartender.
The manager comes out, like, immediately and then walks him out.
Like, not like, he didn't grab him and, like, throw him out.
But he was, like, escorting him.
It was, like, over his shoulder, like, no, you got to leave, like, for real.
a couple of minutes after that
Kentucky goes
like pays his tab
and then says bye to my friend
and tries to say bye to man
I was like fucking whatever man
I limply shook his hand
and then as he was leaving
I told my friend I was like
I was crossing my fingers
when I said get home safe
I hope his fucking car rolls over
I sure hope he didn't fucking go in car
by car
Oh you probably
He was drinking that much
This guy was a moron
He probably did
So now both of these guys are gone
And then the bartender
Just walks over to us
And it's like
What the fuck just happened?
starts telling us about both the guys.
He's like, the big guy I've never seen before in my life,
and then tells me that Steph is a regular and only had four beers tonight.
Parentheses, he's never like this.
Was it a, was it a harvest moon?
It was a, it was a dogfish pumpkin ale.
Oh, no, I was talking about the moon.
Like, what kind of moon was that tonight?
Like, like moon side ones.
Was it a full moon?
Were they following?
What were their allegiances to the moon?
What are your guys's allegiances?
How did they follow the moon?
Was it a waxed moon?
was it waning? Was it a gibbius moon?
Like, what's the...
Owaining.
Doesn't matter. Nobody's scared of the moon.
Nobody's scared of the moon.
The bartender was great. I loved that guy.
Because we were just chatting up with that guy
the rest of the night. He made me keep telling the story
to people who came in.
He was probably thinking like, damn, that was a crazy two hours.
Because I cannot, I can't even...
How long did that take? Like two hours, surely, right?
How long...
Dude, it was like 50 minutes.
Dude, that's what I'm saying, though.
It was under an hour.
50 minutes. Like, what the fuck do you do with that?
A tight 50, a tight one hour.
They really wrapped it all up. I still can't get over him just being like, yeah, he's here
all the time. You only had like four beers. He's never like that.
This was just who's on first, but who are your allegiances are on first?
What are your guys' allegiances?
That's a crazy thing to ask.
Asking for the sake of conversation.
That's a crazy thing to ask, but that's also what I'm going to start asking.
For days, I just kept asking people what their allegiances were and they didn't know what I was
talking about and they would give me an answer.
I'd be like,
I'm nobody scared of that.
That's,
that's like powerful as fuck though.
Like,
it's powerful in a way that's like actual conversation starter.
And if you ask it in the right way,
it's more funny than dark.
And then it was just like a normal eye,
just like chat with the bartender,
except when we started talking about sports betting,
he's like, yeah,
I got a little cousin that stole 10 grand from my,
my aunt for sports gambling.
Did he win?
No, I don't think so.
And I said, yeah,
I'm not sports betting anymore,
because it's the devil and he was like yeah you're right
and then he was making a parlay right in front of me
got making a deal with a devil
yeah that's the only like
weird thing I had happened to New York
everybody else was normal or didn't want anything to do with you
I don't like New York so much
well Billy anti-Mondami
they think their fucking bagels are so good
they're so good I'm sorry
I'm anti I'm anti New York bagel
because Montreal bagels are better
the New York bagel I had was pretty good
I went to the pizza shop
from Spider-Man.
I'm sure it was pretty good.
That's the only tourist thing I did.
I went to Joe's Pizza.
That's awesome.
And it's because it was around the corner from where we were seeing a concert.
No, New York pizza's fine, too.
It's not that good.
It was pretty solid.
You know what?
Better Montreal pizza is better.
This guy loves Montreal.
I fucking love Montreal.
I hate New York.
I had never been to New York.
But after Montreal, my friend who I was visiting said that if I liked Montreal,
I would like New York because Montreal is kind of like New York.
because Montreal is kind of like New York if it was a little French.
No, Montreal's better. I'm sorry. I don't know what the fuck we're talking about here.
Howdy. This episode of Please Stop Talking is brought to you by Ridge.
If I'm going out with friends at 5 p.m., I'm coming back at 3 a.m.
That's 10 hours where I need to pray that my 4-year-old phone battery lasts,
and that's not a gamble you want to take when you're trying to get home safely late at night.
Lately, I've been bringing my Ridge Power Bank to keep some juice in my phone,
and it's not only a lifesaver, but it's also easily my favorite power bank by a long shot.
This little beast has built-in USBC and lightning cables, an Apple Watch charger, and MacSafe wireless charging,
which I only learned about MagSafe recently, and it's been such a game changer for me.
It's everything you need to keep your devices charged with one compact power bank,
and with 20 watts of power and a 10,000 millie amp power battery, you can get up to three full phone charges,
wherever you go. From October 8th through November 5th, Ridge is running their friends and family
sale where if you buy two Ridge Powerbanks, you'll get a third one free. So like keep one for
yourself and give two for the holidays in a few months. That's a pretty useful gift and they'll
definitely love it. And if the Power Bank isn't their thing, Ridge has plenty of other gifts to
choose from. Wallets in both classic and MagSafe options, phone cases, luggage, key cases, and more,
all in a variety of colors. And since I know you know a guy,
who always loses track of their things, might I suggest the Ridge's tracker card as a perfect
gift option? Ready to get a head start on gifting? You can find Ridge's powerbank at Best Buy and
Amazon or head to Ridge.com slash PSD for Ridge's friends and family sale, where you can buy
two Ridge Powerbanks and get a third one free. That's Ridge.com slash PST. Shop smart this
holiday season with Ridge. And also, after you purchase, they will ask you where you heard about
them please support our show and tell them PSD sent you.
No, this reminds me of that one tragedy that happened in New York once.
They haven't been the same since.
Oh, when Spider-Man didn't stop that train.
When Spider-Man didn't stop that train and he, dude, that was fucked up.
He had to be carried across a line of those people.
Brennan, who's that one guy in that scene?
Huh?
Who is that one guy the scene?
Is that Joey Diaz from Joe Rogan's podcast?
That is.
Thank you.
And from like the dog, that's Joey Diaz in that scene, right?
And he was in the dog who saved Christmas and the dog who saved Halloween as like the bad guy, I think.
That's true.
That is exactly what happened.
Joe Rogan, he was in, here comes the boom.
Did he have, was he like, is that real?
Was it real?
Are you, I don't know.
Are you asking if here comes the boom is real?
No, but like, no, was Joe Rogan real?
Or Joe Rogan.
I was walking down the street and I swear I saw Joe Rogan, but he turned to the side and he disappeared like he was two dimensional.
Like was he playing a was he playing a character.
Seth Rogan?
He was not.
No, no.
And here comes the boom.
Joe Rogan is in here comes the boom.
Yes.
Yes, he is.
Was he playing a character?
Or was that real?
No, that's what I'm saying.
It was not playing a character.
That was actually Joe Rogan.
Okay.
Joe Rogan.
He wasn't playing himself either.
They just brought him in.
I got into an argument about it because someone was saying he was involved in, like,
like fighting stuff?
And I was like, no, you're just thinking of here comes the boom.
You are thinking of here comes the boom, starring, uh, Kevin James.
Fighting a, fighting a green guy called Mayhem Miller.
I'm using a lot of fucking ye old memories right now.
This is fucking insane.
I haven't thought about that fucking, wasn't an MMA, was it MMA that they did?
Walking through my fucking mine palace to remember plot points from here comes the boom.
I don't know why the fuck.
Yeah, because I haven't thought about here comes to
boo in fucking years. Why the fuck would you
bring that fucking movie
up? Have you been watching?
And that's what I know him from. He's in here comes the boom.
Of all the
fucking things. What's this funny?
I feel like most people would know
Joe Rogan from the zookeeper, if
anything. No, that's not Joe Rogan.
These movies. I've never seen Joe
Rogan is in
Zookeeper. No, he's the podcaster.
He is in the fucking
Zookeeper.
There's no way he plays.
He plays fucking Gale.
What?
And Adam Sandler plays Donald the fucking monkey.
Don't even with me, dude.
I know this shit.
Kevin James and Joe Rogan have so much on-screen chemistry.
I always think they're going to start sucking and fucking.
You just never struck me as a big Joe Rogan fan.
Kevin James, me neither.
You know who that is?
Kevin James, you know who that is?
That's the king of fucking queen
He's the guy on the bike
No, that's the Saints head coach
He's the guy in the picture with the big naturals
That's Doug Heffernan
God damn it
Did ever make you watch that movie
Where Kevin James is
The head coach of the Saints?
No, I was gonna bring that up
He was a real-life coach
Sean Peyton
In that movie
What?
I just had to fucking mint
Yeah
He made a movie where he was Sean Payton
And it's what
Sean Payton coaching a high school
football team for the year that he was suspended for Bountygate.
This is a real movie starring Kevin James.
For those who don't know, it was the Saints Head Coach
and he was paying players to
purposefully injure the other team
and got suspended. In this movie,
Kevin James plays the coach and he goes to
Coach's high school team. Oh, so he was trying to make
death throw on the Xbox real. Okay.
Oh, weird. What the fuck?
See, this is a picture from the zookeeper
of Kevin James screaming at
Joe Rogan
Wow
What is Joe Rogan up to you now?
Do you ever give MD to me to do a monkey?
I think he's really into cratum
So he just posts like a three-hour podcast
Of him drooling out of his mouth
While somebody inserts a drill to the top of his teeth
I don't know why my brain thought you
You said cranium like the board gaming
Oh no they're getting into his cranium
He's taken five gallons of cratim
And they're fucking doing a local lobotomy
No Joe Rogan is obsessed with cranium
Every time he gets to-
No you ever heard of the local lobotomy
I'm off that fucking cranium
Cranium.
You ever heard of this, you ever heard of this game?
Cranium?
You want to play?
No, he's getting a lobotomy in two weeks.
That's like a whole thing.
He's been talking about it on the podcast.
Has he been talking about that for real?
Yeah, he's been saying, I'm getting a lobotomy.
They're taking a piece of my brain out.
The one that makes me feel I no longer want to.
Joe Rogan gets on this year, SM7B, and he says, ever since I was a child, I've hated
the weakness of the flesh.
He did, he said that.
He said that.
He said, I will become more machine than man.
Rogan will be digital forever and ever.
All hell the cloud.
Anyway, I don't have any funny stories. My life is sad right now. So like...
Yeah, my life is also sad. I've been going through a burnout leave, so it's not that nice.
Oh, okay. So I've been going through divorce, so not to like compete or anything.
I'm not competing. I'm not trying to compete either. I just like a lot of...
I am trying to compete. More Americans go through divorce than burnout.
Oh, okay. I'm pretty sure my plight is rarer. True. True. You know what? You're so valid. I also had a... I also
had a really great experience at the dentistry or the eye doctor recently it was awesome oh that's a very that's a
very tough thing to confuse those yeah i uh i walked in i got my eyes checked out said your eyes are
actually slightly better and i was like hell yeah dude this is awesome that's a thing that can happen
yeah my eye my right eye was a little bit better for no reason i was like oh shit with age your eyes
are supposed to get worse but mine got a little bit better yeah i'm actually kind of surprised by that
maybe they misdiagnosed your eye the first time the evil thing
happened when I went up to pay and a woman was trying to pay at the exact same time and they only
had one checkout. Oh, that takes forever. Well, no, no, no. They only had one checkup, but they had three
women working the desk. So when I went to pay, the old lady making, paying for the other woman who
had a $400 bill, couldn't scan the card rights. So she walked away and my lady walked up, scanned my
card. And then I was sitting there going, why do I have a $400 charge? My charge is $100.
And they'll just look at me slack jawed on a Friday.
You paid for that woman's fucking...
No, no, they made her repay.
They made her repay.
They sat there for a full three minutes open-mouthed, though,
waiting for me to, like, blow up.
And I was like, I'm not going to blow up.
I'm not mad.
This happens.
Stuff happens.
You only have one little scanner.
I'm not mad.
I'm just disappointed.
I mean, refunding something like that literally takes like 10 seconds, so it's totally fine.
It tastes like four days.
Just got the text today.
This was Friday.
I still have to wait an additional two days because they use a third-party payment
processors.
hundred dollars out of my account for a good week.
Yeah. That's how, that sucks.
Yeah. No, I, I've been like learning, uh, because we, we, I've been, I did like an event
recently where I was using a, uh, one of those.
Oh, one of the payment processors. Yeah.
Yeah, a square, a square. And like, it was like, there was an accident. There was an accident.
I double tapped the thing and they paid double. So I refunded them for one of them.
And it was like, immediate. So that's why I was like, usually it's quick. I didn't know.
Like, I guess it depends which processor and every.
thing. But when, from what I remember, squares, like, if it, if it happens, like, almost immediately,
the processing time is very quick. I could hear the Ave Maria in their ears as I was standing there
trying to decide, do I blow up? No, no, no. I have, I will get the money back. I have the money.
But do I blow up? I would not blow up. I feel like I wouldn't blow up. I would just, like,
I would be very confused and try to understand and then question their lack of being good
their job. Oh, no, I made sure I was like, um, in a very calm way, you know.
I made sure that one of them texted me today about it to make sure that it would get
refunded because they couldn't, it was over the weekend so they couldn't like talk to the bank.
So I made sure I was like, you will text me from the dentist phone or the from the eye doctor
phone, please. You will do this for me. You will do this.
Yeah, green, Eminem, you will do this for me. Listen to here, Midwestern women, you will do this
for me. You have stolen $400 for me when I was only going to pay $100. I would like my money back,
technically they stole, technically they stole $300.
No, they stole $400 because I still got to go in once the money is back in and then go and pay for my part of the bill.
Yeah, but you haven't paid that.
I can't believe you were so kind to pay that lady in front of his bill.
Actually, wait, wait, hold.
Hold, hold, pause.
Did you just say you didn't pay for your part yet?
I didn't pay for my part yet.
I accidentally paid for that ladies.
And I said, I will come back and pay once.
That is very trusting.
I will do this for you.
That is so trusting.
Because I get a little bit of leeway with that shit.
I'm like, I'll pay my bail motherfuckers.
You definitely do.
You definitely do.
I'm sure, and I'm sure you will come back,
but I know so many people would just not show back.
Brother, it's health care.
They have all of his information.
They have all my information.
Oh, they do have you.
You're so right.
They will bill him to his house.
That is true.
They can't just bill you at your house.
Damn.
Me and the soon-to-be ex-wife,
we did go up to Sioux Falls for a little bit.
as like a friend's trip, which was nice.
Did go into this little bookstore.
I did forget about this until now.
I went to this little bookstore and it's very like,
it's a Sioux Falls like bar and bookstore.
And it's a very inclusive place.
And there are two,
there are two women in the bar,
one behind the counter,
one at one of the tables reading a book.
And they both have like the,
I want to say the,
I think it was the trans pride flag like pin on their little lapel.
Yeah.
And I was just like,
oh, that's cool.
I like a little place like this because I don't have any place like that in my town.
and I was looking at books
10 I saw really cool
Old Hunter the Reckoning book almost picked it up
also saw some GERPS books there
they thought about picking them up but they didn't have price tags on
them did watch as a man
walked up tried to hit on both of these trans
women and then immediately crashed out
and left
and I was watching kind of like a
almost almost like
I was peeping through the bookshelf
to the bar just watching
like this guy hit
on both of these women and then
immediately crash out when they just rebuffed his advances.
And it's like, damn, the power here.
That is like really strong.
I also saw green pills.
Oh, yeah, I forgot about the green pills.
They sent those to Billy.
Green pills for what?
They were pills for green.
Oh.
Let me find the picture I'll post it here.
I was going to reduce your green.
Oh, wait.
Yeah, the de-greenifying pills.
Yeah, they get rid of your green one second.
They get rid of your green.
It was at another bookstore I stopped at that gets rid of your green.
They get rid of your green.
Yeah.
Degradol, defy Gravitol, degrinifying pills.
I think it's candy.
Oh, like from wicked.
Wait, is that a...
Oh, is that a wicked thing?
Is that a wicked thing?
Oh, it's a wicked reference.
Oh, okay.
I just thought, I got excited.
I thought they were just green pills.
Oh, God damn it.
I wish I never knew this.
I wish Corbyn wasn't here for this recording.
We could have spent the entire time thinking that green pills were real.
Saw some hats, too.
Defy Gravitol.
I totally made that up.
That's not a real thing.
I just believed you.
Why the fuck
fucking
Is it candy?
It is a novelty prank
candy mint tin
Do not attempt to fly
After medicating
I'm going to assume this
I think I was right
Yeah that's most medicine
Stuff guy
It says candy on it
But I think it's the coating
As long as it gets rid of my green
It's gonna get rid of your green
Codine
I think it actually is a
It's codeine
It's just codeine
It makes you ungreen
Pretty sure it's codeine
Cratum.
More like Code Green.
Did I talk about Colorado here yet?
I can't remember.
Not that I know of.
I don't think so.
It's been a while since we recorded, if I'm honest.
A lot of things happened.
I went to Colorado.
I went to Denver to see some freaking baseball games and I got to see the Rockies get
obliterated by the, you know, the Dodgers, my brother's favorite team.
I got to see Show Hey Otani.
It is pretty cool to see Show Hey Otani.
That is so fucking cool.
He's really sick.
I also really liked the
They kept showing the blue horse
On point
I went to the Vinegar's Syndrome store
Which is really cool
I got a copy of Tammy the T-Rex and Corn Shucker
Oh that one we did talk about the
Vinegar store
It did talk about the Vinegar store
Otherwise the trip
I mean it was a lot of
I was the adult
So it was my great aunt
My grandma and my brother
And every time we wanted to do something
They would hit me with a
I'm fine, I'm good
I'm fine I'm good
Why don't you decide Brendan
I'm good and I'm fine
And I went, oh my God, I'm becoming my mother on this trip.
I have to be the one to decide because they were,
they would have been happy to just sit in the hotel room all week and just drink Malibu.
That is, that is the type of shit my fucking mom would do actually.
Like the Malibu part, I mean, like, just like, I'm actually comfortable here.
Oh, they have cable?
Hell yeah.
Give me that Malibu.
Put a little family guy on, forcing me some Malibu.
Show me Vinny.
Oh, my brother.
Dude, my brother had the most insane setup in the hotel at one point.
I woke up and I was watching him, watching baseball on the TV, playing baseball in his phone.
And then also he had a portable TV that I got him and playing MLB the show at the same time on the portable TV that he had with him.
That's how I'd be doing it sometimes.
He'd be tripling up.
He's triple threading baseball.
But where was the subway surfer?
There was that.
I did actually ride a train as well, which was a tourist trap.
It was a, it was not a good train.
It runs through this ravine.
It was the only thing my grandma really wanted to do.
And I was like, I'm going to let them plan this.
I'm going to let them decide to do this.
And it was the only thing my grandma wanted to do.
And it just drove the ravine and then backed up all the way through the ravine.
It sucked.
Plus, they bought extra tickets.
They paid extra for a viewing car, right?
Oh, it's one of those.
It's just a tube with like,
it's just a tube with lights on the upper side.
And it sucked.
Yeah.
And there's like wide windows.
Yeah.
They did not want to ride in the coolest part of the train,
which is the actual viewing platforms.
They could see this actual fucking cool ass ravine.
They were like, I'm good.
I'm fine. We're fine. We're good. I'm losing my mind on this trip. This is like, I would say
this is pre-divorce. So of course I have to go through this trip. Come home, get the divorce papers and go,
oh, fuck. I loved. I loved the, I did a little train ride when I was a kid and I really liked it.
I miss it. It's unfortunate because the only thing I remember of it. It's one of those experiences
you have as a kid where like in your head, you're like, I really like that. Like, I enjoyed it a lot.
but the only fucking thing I could remember about the trip was the fact that the sandwiches had
brown mustard and I thought that was fucking stupid.
We'll say, but I still liked it.
Yes, why that is pee-pee poop.
Yeah, so on the way back, we stopped at a town of 100 people at a gas station with a non-functional pump
and I had to go to the bathroom.
I walk in and it's one dude wearing only overalls, no shirt, full bushy beard,
camo hat, cigarette in his mouth.
Pepsi from the 90s in the fucking fridge,
swear to God.
And I say, you guys got a bathroom?
He says, yeah.
I walk into the bathroom and I took a couple of pictures.
I did not take a picture of the toilet, which was all brown.
Was a white toilet that had all been browned.
Thought it was too disgusting to take a picture of it.
There were a swarm of flies above the toilet.
And I took the bravest shit of my life.
You know what that looks like?
That looks like Mandy's toilet right now.
It felt like a Stephen King novel.
Oh, poor Mandy.
I hope he's okay

Steph asked, where do your allegiance is lie?
No, it wasn't Steph.
Kentucky.
Yeah, you fucking ding-dong.
Cut it, cut it, cut it, cut it, cut it, cut it, cut it.
Okay, okay.
I'm gonna peek my mic.
I'm gonna, okay.
Kentucky asks.
What's your guys' opinion on,
Well, I was going to read that one.
Uh, stuff.
You know, stuff, quite frankly.
What about things?
Thoughts on things. Allegiances.
Do they lie with stuff or do they lie with things?
You just kind of asked a question.
Yeah.
Question at the random bar that I went to.
Oh, is he a fan?
Oh, dude.
Oh, you should have got.
Oh, I keep meeting.
I feel so bad.
I keep meeting, I keep meeting fans recently and every time they give me their names
And then I fucking forget it because it's always, dude, first off, I'm actually bad at names.
It takes me at least like three times to like meeting someone in person until I get their name properly.
And then, but it's even worse when it's like at random for like 10 seconds or something, like maybe one minute.
And I do appreciate when people like say hi.
Oh my God, Billy.
And then we talk.
I got invited to a fan's birthday.
They sent me an email.
That's like an awesome.
In my town, they're renting out the, they rented at the bar.
I did not go.
I will say to that fan, I only didn't go because I'm too sad.
I would have gone if I wasn't so sad.
That's wild.
That's wild.
Because I would have gone to the pizza party.
I would have been like, shit.
I got a full email of like, Brendan, I am, Brendan, I'm a big fan of the podcast.
I thought, you know, I thought for a second, it was like, you got to, I don't know why in my head I was thinking, like, getting invited to a birthday party in my head is like, oh, you get the, you get the, you get the, you get the.
You get like the party favors when you show up with the little cone hats.
Oh, yeah.
It was three days ago.
It was high brand and long time listener PST.
And I heard you and your wife, they don't know yet.
Okay.
Live in Sioux City.
I'm turning 25 today and I'm hijacking smash night at the warp zone.
There will be free fried chicken.
It will be by your own beer.
Hope to see all there.
And I was just like, I would have gone actually for free fried chicken if I wasn't
free fried chicken.
Actually, that is an actually fucking crazy deal.
Free fried chicken.
And it was the gamer bar.
I would have gone.
I shout out to Thomas.
I'm so sorry, Thomas, that I did not go.
Happy birthday.
Yeah.

If you see me out in the streets, I will go rabid and I will assault you.
Next time you have to make it a, next time you have to make it a Patreon question
so that we can accept on the show.
What?
I really, I really hope one day we get somebody just inviting us to their birthday party on
Patreon questions.
That would be nice.
What were,
What was the question?
The only thing people are doing for $5.
We didn't ask a single question yet.
We said, what are you?
We didn't ask a single question.
Oh, right.
And I, oh, yeah.
And then I started talking about how I keep forgetting people's names.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's it.
I just have ADD and I just forget people's names.
You're very nice, though.
Thanks.
Anomily asks, if the roles were reversed and the PSD hosts were hosting a Q&A for the audience,
what would your first question for us be?
See, that's not fair.
We have to say that they're shit questions.
I can't be expected to ask them.
Hey, man.
Do you guys just phone it in on these Patreon questions?
That'll be my Patreon question to you.
My question is, what gives you the fucking right?
My question is, is Reversey.
When are you going to be funny again?
Wow.
I feel mean now.
This is feeling mean now.
This is feeling.
You all right?
I'm in my mean and evil.
Real question.
How did you guys find the podcast?
There you go.
There's a real question that isn't us being a good question.
Yeah, there you go.
How did you guys find the podcast?
That's like, how did you find us?
Are we, are we doing good?
Like, are you enjoying this?
Would you guys swear your allegiance to us in a random bar in New York at 8pm?
New question.
If Steph went on the Joe Rogan podcast, would it just become Joe Dirk?
That's the question you're asking.
That's the question I want to ask the audience.
The audience.
Okay.
I think.
I can't hear them.
Okay.
Am I supposed to be able to hear them?
Here's a question.
What's your favorite book?
I actually, I actually, or your favorite music album.
I've been, I've been actually trying to get more album recommendations recently.
That'd be nice.
Look at us driving engagement.
Yeah.
Here's another one.
Why won't, why won't you give me money?
Do you know how hard I work?
If you give them $5 a month, you can ask a question on the page.
Just like.
this one. Just like this one.
Just like this one. Formudo says
laundry sheets when you put clothes in the dryer? Yeah or no.
You could pay $5 and ask
that question. I signed a book for that guy last mag.
I feel like I put laundry sheets, but I don't
know why I put laundry sheets. I always put a laundry sheet on.
But why? So I went for
a long period. Because it doesn't wrinkle.
Not so that's not the reason I do it.
Personally, I went for a long time
not doing it, but I would get
dog stuck to my
clothes. And I
Yeah, because it's like friction.
It attaches all the hair
And then I got a cat
Now I've a dog and a cat
And so I was like I'm gonna try dryer sheets
And now I have no hair
And I'm like I should have been doing this
For a while
Oh isn't there also the thing
Where it's like it stops the
The uh
The like it gets rid of some wrinkles as well
It gets rid of wrinkles
It stops stay at a claim
And if you buy certain ones
It makes your clothes smell a little nice
Coming out of the dryer
Yeah I mean dude I always I always get the bounce once
I love the smell of those man
I'm a bounce a giant
dry-in dryer sheet guy.
They don't bounce false advertising.
I'm a bouncer.
Mine has a picture of a dog.
The doggy and the kitty on it.
That's what I get.
Yeah, man.
Because I go, I have both of those.
And I was like, this is literally what I need.
I'm the doggy and the kitty guy.
It's called being advertised to, Billy.
They targeted me.
They targeted me.
I saw a doggy and a kitty and I said, yeah, give me that one.
Score.
Yeah, I almost always use laundry sheets.
Well, now I'm learning why I do it.
So at least it's good.
You were just doing it just to follow the trend.
Shee.
Well, I was doing, no, it's less that.
Actual laundry sheep.
I was, no, I was doing it.
I was doing it because my fucking mommy said to do it.
Yeah, you just wanted to be a part.
Sheep.
No, I listened to what my mommy said to do.
And then I was like, okay, if my mommy does it, I do it.
If my mommy would jump off a bridge, would I do it?
Actually, mine slaved to big mommy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
a dryer sheet or mama.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
We're all in agreement.
Who's not using dryer sheets?
You could use the balls.
They have dryer balls.
Yeah, I use the dryer balls when I'm doing like a comforter.
There's also people that just straight up don't.
There's also Electra from Spider-Man.
He needs the extra static.
Ooh, yeah, he does.
I use the balls for a while.
My dog would like to play with them.
And so I lost them all.
And then I just went, I went cold turkey.
No sheet, no ball.
And now I'm back in the sheets and it's great.
I mean, I'm sure that's.
some like somebody out there is like i'm not paying ten dollars for a hundred and eighty
sheets or some shit like that it's a dude that's like that's like a year's worth of fucking
sheets dude a buy him in bulk at the sams club yeah okay rich YouTuber with patreon that's a 10
it's like 10 dollars for 200 sheets bro go visit the bounce store go and visit the bouncer
the bounce actually this episode is not spounce
by bounce. It's sponsored by Ridge Wallet.
This episode is sponsored by Ridge Wallet and The Bouncer on PS2.
Uh, nope.
Yeah, actually, I can't buy Ridge Wallet in the dryer.
Legally, we, legally, I must say that that is not sponsored by the Bouncer.
It is not sponsored by the bouncer.
Only sponsored by Ridge Wallet.
Oh, can we get sponsored by Manscape again? Mine broke.
Ridge Wallet, yum, yum.
That's there, yeah, no, if you need a wallet that you can eat, they're the most edible wallet you can find.
They're the most edible wallet.
You will be shitting.
Great wallet.
I would put five to six in my mouth.
Yeah.
Oh,
like the peep challenge.
Ooh,
fun challenge.
Oh,
that could be the Ridge Wallet Challenge.
Let's see if we can get an official.
How many Ridge Wallets can Brendan fit in his mouth?
Probably eight.
I bet eight,
maybe nine.
They're very,
actually,
they're very compact and small.
They're incredibly thin.
They can fit all your stuff.
I could fit maybe 10 rich wallets in my mouth.
I can fit maybe 10,
12 Ridge wallets into Brendan's mouth.
It's crazy.
They requested this on the ad read.
They did not request this on the ad read.
I must stress this.
This was not in their talking points.
SIGO make your viewers put a rich wallet in their mouth.
What I know, what I'm thinking is their talking points should be.
Send me as many rich wallets as you can.
I'll send back the ones I can't fit in my mouth.
That would be a good promotion.
What is the promotion that you're putting rich wallet to your mouth?
Hey, you know what?
Marketing is crazy.
Have you seen the nutter butter like TikTok?
No, I have not.
Oh, dude, you got to look at some of the nutter butter tick to.
They go crazy.
They have a horror ARG going right now for Nutter Butter.
What?
Yeah, they have a horror ARG for Nutter Butter right now.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
You're for real.
You're actual...
I'm for real.
Go to the Nutter Butter TikTok right now.
I don't have TikTok.
I'm not doing this.
Okay.
I'm going to go to Nutter Butter TikTok.
Okay.
Let's move on.
If you were the main character of a failed 2000s mascot platformer of a frogger,
what weird objects would you collect in mass?
It would be Ridgewaltz.
I put them all my mouth.
Yum.
It was Dustin, by the way.
Thanks, Dustin.
I'll forget to use link in the description to buy your...
See how many rich waltz you can fit in your mouth.
My records eight.
Man.
What would I pick up in a little 3D platformer?
We already did this question a while ago.
We did.
Yeah, I remember because I think I said beer or something.
Fuck.
But I was going to say beer.
That's the easy answer.
That's going to be hobbies of Hayes for the PlayStation 3.
I mean, for me, like...
See, I'm pretty sure you also said that.
I'm pretty sure.
I don't think you said beer.
I think you said copies of Norbit.
I did say copies of Norbit.
You're right.
Wow, we're old people, and old people are just kind of fucking twirling around, spinning
crazy style.
I would pick up...
It's crazy you all got the wrong answer.
I'd pick up sunflower seeds, and the big times five thing would be a bag of them.
See, I'm pretty sure that also was your question.
I have 12 bags of sunflower.
I have 12 bags of sunflower seeds.
within arms reach right now.
I don't even like sunflower seeds much.
They're in a big box.
I love sunflower seeds.
Be like David Accoveny, you can heal with sunflower seeds
and X-Files resistance serve on the PS2.
But they're so annoying to eat.
They give my brain the stimulus of that I'm snacking a lot,
but then I realize that I don't eat that much.
I hate that.
I love it.
They're also, they're fun to eat.
Give me a big bowl of hamburger.
Mmm.
Raw hamburger would be my collective up.
I'm building a white.
I'm building wife
Isn't that the store
The plot point of that one game where you're meat
Squirrel stapler
Squirrel stapler
Damn that is not what I thought about at all
I was thinking about super meat boy
But I'm realizing that I think the pink meat is just
He already had a wife
Yeah and she's pinkie
Is she Band-Aid girl?
Band-Aid girl yeah but isn't she chicken
I thought she was band-aids
He's red
No but if he's red
That's beef
If she's pink meat
Wait, super meat.
To learn the lore, really important to know the lore.
Band-Aid girl.
From Super Mead Boy, isn't she meat also?
Why not we all meet?
Shout out to Meat from Mortal Kombat.
Buck yet.
Armageddon.
Armageddon.
Bandage Girl.
Sue Howe, Meat, Mocap, the only fighting game I give a shit about.
Oh, Bandage Girl is not...
Did you just call her bandage?
She's not me.
Bandage Girl.
That's her name, not Band-Aid Girl, because Band-Aid is a brand.
This is true.
Yeah.
Just like
Refrigerator
And Xerox
And she's just
She's just a pink square
She's not meat
I don't know why in my head
I thought she was made of meat
Like
She's raw hamburger meat
No because
No because
She would be
Bandage girl would not be
Like a fucking
Burger meat is red
She would be like
Turkey or chicken meat
Like ground meat
Right
Because those are pinkish
This is a stupid
fucking conversation
shut up.
The refrigerator is a brand.
The refrigerator was a brand.
Yeah, the general term for a refrigerator is an icebox.
Icebox?
Yep.
I don't believe you.
Look it up.
That's true.
No.
I mean, refrigerators.
Call it a big tech man now.
Big icebox.
Wait.
It wasn't it called Frisdard?
I don't know.
Frigid air.
Frigid air.
Frigid air.
I know frigid air.
Yeah, frigid air.
That's a brand.
Corbin, really important for those refrigerators.
You're going to get the, you're going to get the two-year geeks.
Guard protection on them? You're going to get installed with Total Texas
port? They've started getting really mad at me because I stopped getting protection on my
devices and they they see me as a traitor now. Oh, that's why I don't shop there anymore
after I quit. Dude, it's been weird. I don't see Best Buy is that much anymore. It's like a lot of
them closed recently around here. They've been starting to fall apart ever since I left since
the air was done. They'd be falling down. Maybe it's like a Canadian thing, but I just don't see,
I just don't see Best Buy is around anymore. It's like it's going to have Best Buy Aphasia.
No, it's going to
That's why they're there
You just can't see them
I swear to God
I never see any anymore though
Amazon's probably fucking killing them
Like they're killing everything else to be fair
I mean Amazon just like
They were working with Amazon for a little bit
While I was still there
Doing like returns through Amazon
And getting paid but yeah
Oh yeah but you can go to a fucking circle
K now and get do that
You can go literally anywhere in Canada
For fucking
I know that post Canada
Is taking Amazon
Amazon stuff now.
There's a Joe Dirt too.
Yes.
It's not great.
Don't watch it.
It's not worth it.
Joe Dirtier.
Motion roller coaster right there.
I know.
I broke your heart.
I'm sorry.
I like Joe Dirt.
I love Joe Dirt.
It's my culture.
Joe Dirt is my culture.
Joe Dirt was funnier than I expected when I watched it.
Honestly.
It's genuinely a funny movie.
It's like way better than it should be.
Yeah.
And it made someone cry.
So you know what?
It has a heart.
Okay.
We got to do one last question.
and I don't want to end it on Joe Dirt glazing.
I've never even seen it.
Don't talk to me.
My bad.
Trollganer says you've got to choose a PSD host to banish to the forest island for a week to survive
who dies and who comes out of it a changed toast.
Like I'm assuming they mean the forest in the game.
Who comes out and who dies and who comes out as a change toast.
But we only choose one so the rest of the question is does it.
Yeah, it's confusing.
This is a confusing.
I think it's just wrong.
Do we all go or only one person?
I'm, I'm changing.
your questions so that it makes sense.
All of us go to the forest.
Yeah, I want to go.
Yeah.
I would like to go.
You know what happened last time we went?
You would, I don't think.
Last time we went, we broke the early access game so hard that we became the first
people to beat the game.
So I think, I think that we can do it again.
I think we can clip through the walls.
Yeah, a little boy strip to the forest island.
Like that sounds like, uh, it was fun.
It was a fun time.
I enjoy my time in the forest.
I don't mind all the monsters.
They're not so bad.
Sheena comes out as a changed host, but like in a Lord of the Flies kind of thing.
I think I'm first dead.
She would say fuck.
She would say fuck on the island.
Like, the island would change her.
She'd say fuck.
Nothing else changes.
She just go one time just goes, fuck.
That's it.
I think I'm just going to walk into the ocean.
Honestly, if I was in that predicament, if I woke up and I was in the forest, I just say, yeah, no, I'm done, man.
This is too much.
How do you guys, uh, oh, sorry, I cut you off.
No, I just, I'd just walk into the ocean.
Or I'd get stuck by like one of those big log traps.
If the players make, somebody would make a big log trap,
and I would get my head squished between two of them.
Now, piggybacking off of those, I would die on the forest island.
I would be too, hubris would get me.
Huberous wouldn't get me.
I'd just either give up or I'd be really stupid, one of the two.
I feel like we would recreate, we would create puppet shows that would give us enough strength to keep going.
On day one, I'm taking off my socks.
Oh no, I think I'd join the cannibals probably.
That's what I'm thinking.
I feel like I feel like we'd be like, oh, dude, what if we, I don't know, like we would make our little our little cottage because of course we would have a beautiful cottage just like in the game.
And then from there, we would be like, well, what do we do for entertainment?
We've sucked and fucked so often.
And then we would decide like, well, what if we did puppet shows?
And then we'd be, we'd be doing like X-Files, like lost episodes, but in puppet form.
No, catch me walking into the woods coming back covered in legs.
Well, we'd keep you in a cage.
Do you absolutely would not?
I would escape.
We would do public shows for you to keep you dossol.
You're creating, you're being a kid on the playground changing your fucking rules.
What are you doing?
No, I would hit you with, I'm fine, actually.
Everything's okay.
And I would make sure that for weeks I would act completely and utterly normally.
And then I would run off into the woods and come back covered in legs.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
When you come back covered in legs, we would put you in a cage.
You wouldn't be able to stop me because I'd be all leg.
No, we'd find a way.
He wouldn't be able to stop me.
I'd be a 100% leg at that point.
I'm sorry.
Yeah, rock paper scissors.
How'd you get a win with no hand, only leg.
Mandy wouldn't know what to do with all those legs.
I just kind of assume that he would.
I'd be a leg of Mari.
You wouldn't be able to stop me.
I'd roll through the woods.
He would have a leg up.
We would play a little puppet shows for you and you would be enjoying it.
You would stare at it from your crate.
I'd be, I would break out of a cage and I would roll you over,
squishing you flat with my big leg.
No, you would fucking clap.
your legs together when you would see the puppet
shows. We would put puppet Brendan and
a puppet Corbyn going
through like adventures and then you would go
but it's your legs instead of
the whale in puppet show.
Oh.
Do the leg
critters even make noises
in the game? They surely
do right, but they're just made of legs
so they probably go like
leg leg leg leg leg leg leg
foot slapping against the ground sounds.
Oh man.
Have we forgiven Germany?
