Welcome to Positive Successor, episode 100.
Today's topic, what we're talking about is celebration.
time to introduce the first guest to the podcast, Claire Behr.
I'm Claire. I'm Claire. I'm James's loved bird of four years. Tomorrow will be my birthday,
my 24th birthday. So Claire, Claire, how is it going to feel to celebrate your birthday tomorrow
talking about the topic of celebration? It's going to be awesome because I'm going to be
surrounded by you, my family, my other loved ones.
There's a Bible verse that says,
Peace Psalm 984.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
All the earth make a loud noise and rejoice and sing grace.
You know what makes a celebration?
Usually is a theme.
Serving your favorite foods.
decorative details, shared memories, a tribute video, music, surprises, family, and support being there.
So, what is the, what the job you do?
I'm a server at a retirement home. I serve lunch and breakfast.
That's great to hear.
I bet the residents have a smile on their face every time they serve them.
You see talking about celebration, it's an important thing to have in life.
And being the 100th episode of Positively Successor, it's a great accomplishment.
Because talking about the word celebration, celebrating 100th,000,
episodes and
tomorrow
we'll be celebrating
Claibbair's birthday
and my birthday
will
be here next week
to celebrate
celebrating is a great part
of life
and it's just
it's a crane of
moments of
in things
you need
never want to forget.
Reading memories, yes.
Like, the theme, like,
there's, like, different themes out there,
like, uh, like, uh,
either you want to have a Spider-Man theme
or, like, um,
like, Hello Kitty, for instance.
Those types, man, like serving favorite foods.
Either the favorite food could be, like, uh, from a favorite
favorite restaurant place, just takeout or something.
Directive details like decorating like a wall and hanging like a decoration of happy birthday or someone.
Well, it's actually great that you're talking about salvation because, you know,
you and I will be celebrating my sister and her loved one later.
It's great how that all ties in together.
And also, at the end of the year, this year will,
Claire Bear and I will be sober in five years.
New Year's Eve.
New Year's Eve will be another great accomplishment to celebrate.
A win, as my trainer would say.
And, uh, but by way, um, heard, uh, about your weight loss, you, how, how's that being good?
Pretty good, pretty hard. You have ups and downs, everybody knows about that.
How many, how many, uh, that?
Probably a 60-6 to 68 now, maybe 70.
That's amazing.
And just now I'm proud of you for the journey you're on with your trainer helping.
Yes.
Every day I see the hard work and dedication you put into it.
Yes.
I'm very, very proud.
Yes.
Thank you.
One of the other things in the what makes a celebration is shared memories.
I always want to have good memories that will last forever.
Like us meeting each other.
Yeah.
James says to me all the time, he never thought he would find a girlfriend.
And then he came across me in her transition course, transition program.
That's true.
I'm glad to have a first pick.
What do you guys marry a go for?
Same.
Music.
Like a great DJ or a great jam-out song to have that the birthdays and like a playlist usually surprises.
Like when you walk into a house and people are hiding behind a table or something.
And then they pop out and surprise you.
Or it could be a gift from the heart to someone.
And then lastly and most importantly, the family and support that's being there.
Because with the family and support being there, that's part of what makes a great celebration meaningful.
Is there anything else?
No. Thanks for having me on.
I appreciate having you on the podcast.
Thank you.
And hope you all enjoyed a great, great episode,
the 100th episode of Positive Successor,
and with the first guest being Claibor,
remember to look back at the reflection of yourself in the mirror
because you are a work in progress
to all the beautiful and handsome people out there.
You'll accomplish what you want in life
in no time. Believe that.
