Welcome to Positive Successor, Episode 119.
Today's topic what we're talking about is sobriety.
So let's get into it.
Sobriety. You see, sobriety is the alcoholist of not drunk.
You see, yesterday, I just did an episode talking about responsibility.
And I feel like with this particular episode of sobriety, episode of positive successor,
I feel like responsibility has to play a factor.
in this area of sobriety,
because we all can do things in the world.
And we just got to be mature and responsible
and being careful of certain things in the world.
I just want to start off with a number you can use to call.
It's a 988,
number. It's a suicide and crisis life line. If you ever need someone to talk to or need someone to get a
hold of. And you see, I did some research to see what helps with sobriety. And what helps with
sobriety is the support and communication of others, a healthy, healthy activities and
routines, also coping mechanisms.
You see what support and communication has to do is you can build sober support network network,
join some support groups seeking therapy and talking it out.
It's okay to cry.
It's okay to let it out.
We all are human beings and if you got to cry, it's okay to cry.
If you got to let it out, it's okay to let it out.
Just know that there are some healthy activities.
and routines that you can do for sobriety,
and that is to exercise regularly,
finding new hobbies that you haven't come across yet,
helping others that may go through this situation as well,
and establishing a healthy routine.
You see,
coping mechanisms you can do.
Could be practicing relaxation.
Distracting yourself like,
not literally distract yourself,
but distract yourself like be busy with things that you enjoy.
Being busy with enjoyable things.
Distract yourself with things that you enjoy.
Distract yourself in a good way.
not distract yourself in a bad way, distracting yourself in a good way that you're busy with things that you like to do and enjoy in your life.
You can also do positive self-talk.
You can also do some practices on the triggers and identify what situations lead to the relapse and avoid them.
Listen, I know in life, being drunk is one of the things that we can't control or take account of.
But if you're in that trance of being drunk and if somehow you know how to restrain yourself from the bad habits,
they're going on.
If you can identify
what is triggering you in those situations
that leads to a relapse
and to avoid them.
And again, going back to responsibility
and being mature
is a big factor.
And again, I know
this guy's
say that I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't drew drugs because on all those things
are warning labels from the start.
If you read the warning signs, the warning descriptions are on the,
drinks, drugs, and smoking and all that.
I never do that.
And you all can do whatever you want in this life.
Just be responsible and be mature about what you're doing
and paying attention.
And identifying the situations that you're in.
Being responsible and mature when you're doing these things that are going into your body.
Just know that there are facilities that can help with your sobriety.
And I also can go with the other things that you indulge in your body,
like the drugs and the smoking.
And I don't condone that,
but you want to do it, be responsible,
or just find help about it,
is what I can really suggest to each and every way.
And this episode is talking about sobriety.
I want to say a prayer, dear God,
I hope, I hope and pray for everybody.
that is going through sobriety right now.
I pray that each one of those individuals
and everyone that wants to get into sobriety
and wants to achieve it,
I hope all of your ring, all your bells ring,
and you made it into sobriety.
and made it a way to not drink again.
And I just pray for everyone sobriety.
I really do.
I really pray for each and everyone of everyone in this world, in this life.
I hope everyone's sobriety is recovered and achieved.
God bless.
to everyone. I hope everyone sobriety is completed and they are fresh and can start something new in their life.
I hope sobriety does every way, shape, or form to help each and one of them get to where they need to in life to start over and turn their frowns upside down.
I hope everyone, sobriety goes through thick and thin all the way.
God bless everyone and amen.
You see the mission that is trying to go on here for sobriety is in the end for the mission.
We want everyone to recover and achieve their goals without addiction.
I know addiction can be a tough challenge to get away from.
But again, if you need, there's a number, the 988 suicide and crisis lifeline.
And just so you know, there's also goes with mental health awareness, the topic of mental
health awareness. Just know that you're mattered, you're loved, and you made this far for a reason.
Don't, don't doubt yourself, don't beat up on yourself. Don't blame yourself for anything because
well, it's mistakes and lessons that we learned throughout life.
And sobriety is a great, a great, is great programs of sobriety that I hope each and one you find to, to complete everyone you, your sobrieties that are out there.
And just like I said, what these things that help with sobriety is support and communication, healthy activities and routines and routines.
and coping mechanisms like in support and communication building sober support network,
join a support group, seek therapy, even talk it out, healthy activities and routine,
like exercising regularly, finding new hobbies that you haven't come across yet,
helping others that may be going through the same thing.
and establishing a healthy routine.
And with coping with mechanisms,
you can practice relaxation,
distracting yourself,
and distract yourself in a good way.
Like, distract yourself with being busy with things that you enjoy.
And having positive self-talk about yourself
and identifying these triggers that are in the situation.
and what situations lead to relapse and to avoid them.
Because the mission here is to have everyone recover and achieve their goals without having
addiction anymore.
And that's why I pray for each anyone, you should not have the addiction anymore.
And to pray for everyone in sobriety that's out there.
And I hope this episode helps again.
the number is 988, the suicide and crisis life line.
Just know to look in the mirror because you are a work in progress to all the beautiful and handsome people out there and we'll get to where you want in life.
Believe that.
I hope this episode helps.
