Welcome to Positive Successor Episode 181. Today's topic, what we're talking about is compound lifts. So let's get into it. Compound lifts. Compound lips are, for example, squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press, pull-ups, chin-ups, rows, dips, dips, dips, dips, lunges, push-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, and what these all have in common is there a, compound lift.
Starting point is 00:01:04 And all the compound lifts help with overall strength, muscle mass, and power efficiency, efficiently. You see the squat is you sit down and get back up. The deadlift is you make sure you're lined up. with the exercise so you don't hurt your back and you bend down and you whipped it up your abdomen, a domine bench press. Before you go into the bench press, you were in that mindset when you're sitting on the bench before you lay down and grab the bar with the weights that you set for yourself on it on there. And you'll have, you'll have spotters too on the other side helping you get that weight
Starting point is 00:02:27 and for you to lift with your strength. The overhead press, it's overhead. So overhead lift up and stuff. Pull-ups and chin-ups. You put your both hands on the bar, and you got to go up, you got to go up past the bar or close to a bar. the chin ups. Chinups are the same thing. You got to pull up with your chin to a capacitor bar and or close to the bar.
Starting point is 00:03:29 The dips, the dips are also you got to, they have a platform where you put your knees. So you lift up. You got to make sure you got to be balanced with the platform. The rows. The rows help so much. The rows you are to help with a lot of things. Like your back and your shoulders and everything.
Starting point is 00:04:37 And building up some. strength as well. The lunges, you're standing and you put one one foot forward and you bend the knee and you do that with the other side as well in the lunch. Push-ups, you go down your hands and knees and you like you put your hands flat in front of you, so there's knee pushups, wall pushups, but wall pushups aren't in the category of compound lips because you're using the wall and not your strength, your actual strength. So you go on your hands and knees and you put your hands flat, like a pancake right from you. and you make sure your knees are flat as well.
Starting point is 00:05:52 And with push-ups, all these in common, whatever happened to each other one of you in the past or what you're going through right now, these compound lips are meant for you to release all of that, that frustration in, these compound lips are to make you feel at ease and make you feel good about yourself and make you be a hard worker and achieve the impossible because you're the I'm impossible. If you split the word I'm possible into two spaces, it'll say I'm possible.
Starting point is 00:06:56 sit-ups. You got to lay on your back and you gotta try to sit up. Like you got to move forward to try to get up with your body.
Starting point is 00:07:22 And usually you can put your feet under the couch or under any furniture or under anything that's stable that would hold one million weight that you can't lift with your feet you could put under and you can you can try do sit-ups
Starting point is 00:07:51 and what all these compound lips help with is overall strength muscle mass and power efficiently you see compound lips build strength and muscle their time efficiency They help you burn more calories, help you improve in functional fitness, enhances coordination and balance. It boosts hormones. It strengthens bones. And it has cardio benefits. You see if you go to the gym,
Starting point is 00:08:52 And you do your compound lips. These compound lips taking everything from you. You see, these compound lips, you got to try to do you at the gym or anywhere because they are challenges that you want to overcome. You see, I made a puzzle in one of my previous episodes, and the puzzle is a maze. It's a maze of numbers. You see, when you're doing your compound lift and you go over 20, you got to level up. You can't go much more than 20, or you're wasting time.
Starting point is 00:09:57 So if you get to six and more, that's awesome. Keep going at it because the maze is 1 through 6, 6 through 10, 10 through 15, 15 through 19, 20 to 21. 2021 is the king and queen of the maze and your guards of the king and queen are the guards of 15 through 19 and the 15s are on each side of each other as the bow and arrow of that maze and then you got the gladiators the one through six, six through ten. Those are all the gladiators in the middle that are defending everyone. And that's the maze, the numbers of the maze. Once you get past 20 and 21, you got to level up.
Starting point is 00:11:29 You put your, you put what would dream workout that you want to accomplish in the maze and you try to get past 20 and 21 and if you can get past those the final bosses you got to level up get stronger some more so I hope this helps which I want you knowing what compound lips are compound lips are helping with overall strength muscle mass and power efficiently because they build strength and muscle. They have time efficiency. They build more calories. They improve functional fitness,
Starting point is 00:12:31 enhances coordination and balance, boosts hormones, strengthens bones, and cardio benefits. When you do these compound lifts throughout the day, It can feel like you're doing cardio 24 hours, even when you're sleeping. So doing these compound lifts have a great benefit in life because they help so much. And they come with challenges, which I'm a fan of challenges, are you?
Starting point is 00:13:11 And if you get past these challenges, you are going to become, you're going to have boulders in your arms when you've accomplished this.
