Between on with the Bible. Let's get into it.
The vision of the land west of the Jordan.
14.
Now, these are the areas.
The Israelites received as an inheritance in the land of canon,
which Elazar, the priest, Joshua, son of none,
and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel allotted to them.
Their inheritance were assigned by allot to the nine and a half tribes,
as the Lord had commanded through Moses.
Moses had granted the two and a half tribes, their inheritance east of the Jordan,
but had not granted the Levites an inheritance among the rest,
for the sons of Joseph had become two tribes,
Manasse and Ephraim.
The Levites received no share of the land,
but only towns to live in with pasture lands for their flocks and herds.
So the Israelites divided the land just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Hebron given to Caleb
People in Bible times
Caleb was a courageous spy
who went with Joshua
and ten other spies to explore canon.
Caleb and Joshua were the only spies
who wanted to obey God in attack canon.
God rewarded Caleb by letting him live
when other Israelites adults
except Joshua died in the wilderness.
When Caleb was older and the Israelites were settled in Canaan, God gave him a town called Hebra.
Now the man of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgaph, and Caleb's son of Jepenna, the Canizite said to him,
You know what the Lord said to Moses, the man of God at Kadesh, Barnea, about you and me?
I was 40 years old when Moses,
servant of the Lord sent me from Kadeshfrania to explore the land and I brought him back the report
according to my convictions but my brothers who went up with me made the hearts of the people
melts with fear I however followed the Lord by my God wholeheartedly so on that day Moses
swore to me the land on which your feet have walked on
will be your inheritance and that of your children forever because you have followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.
Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for 45 years since the time he said this to Moses.
While Israel moved about in the desert, so here I am today, 85 years old.
I am still as strong today as the most as a day.
Moses sent me out. I'm just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.
Now give me this hell of country that the Lord promised me that you yourself heard then that
the Anokites were there in their cities were large and fortified, but the Lord helping me,
I will drive them out as just as he said.
then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Japan and gave him Hebron has an inheritance so Hebron has belonged to Caleb son of Japanah
the Kenazate ever since because he followed the Lord the God of Israel wholeheartedly
Hebron used to be called Kariath Arba after Arba was the greatest man among the
the Anokites. Then the land had rest from war.
Allotment for Judah.
15. The allotment for the tribe of Judah, clan by clan, extended down to the territory of
Edom, to the desert zone in the extreme south. Their southern boundary started from the
bay at the southern end of the Salt Sea. Crossed south of Scorpion Pass continued on to
to Zinn and went over to the south of Kadesh-Barnia, then it ran past Hezran up to Adar, and curbed around to Karka.
It then passed along to Asman and joined the Wadi of Egypt, ending at the sea.

their clans. In accordance with the Lord's command to him, Joshua gave to Caleb, son of
Chippeneth a portion in Judah, Cariath Arba, that is Hebron. Arba was the forefather of Anach.
From Habran, Caleb drove out the three Anakites, Shishai, Ahaymen, and Talmi, descendants of Anak.
From there, he marched against the people living in Deber, formerly called Kariath Sephir.
And Caleb said, I will give my daughter, Axe and marriage to the man who attacks and captures Kariath Sephir.
Othneo, son of Keneas, Caleb's brother, took it.
So Caleb gave his daughter access to him in marriage.
One day when she came to Atheneo, she urged him.
She urged him to ask her father for a few.
When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her,
