Welcome to positivity successor episode 249. Today's topic we'll be discussing is the experience at the second. fight. So let's get into it. So experience at the second fight. For those and everyone that doesn't know, I am a undefeated MMA coach. That is right. And how I earned it was March 30th,

2019. Michael Freeman versus Kevin Serber Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. I coached my first event that day. And my fighter, Michael Freeman, got his first victory that night.

And that's how I became an undefeated coach, MMA coach, to this very day and upcoming. So you see, at the second fighting event, I was, I'm an undefeated MMA coach at the second event with my girlfriend on February 28, 2026. This time, I am observing and supporting in the crowd with my girlfriend as an undefeated coach. As an undefeated coach, at the second fight.

So you see, brought to you by Maximus Promotions at the Piazza and Aurora was a fight event with 15 match cards

including a surprise proposal. Yes, a fighter proposed. to his girlfriend and now they're soon to be married

at some point so the experience we go to the venue the piazza at 6 p.m and everyone is waiting outside

so we wait outside with all the other supporter customers and we wait until we get into the door and then

we first got to get through the security checkout area so we got to put all our things empty our things from our pockets into the bin everything to get through the

security breach door. And so a person is patting us down, checking for anything dangerous at the venue before we continue. So then grab all our belongings from the bucket that we put in.

And then we head to the general admission table. It's where they give us our tickets from. a stapled brochure. And then they take a stamped, a hand tool stamp, and stamp our right back of our hand. Now you see, we plan this fight to go to this fight from December 18th,

2025 for February 28th, 2026. So then we head up the elevator to get to the general mission area. So we head to the general emission area. It is a bar area, mill area, or side restaurant area. you could go in. So we were at the bar side of the general mission area. And it felt like a surreal moment for me because, you know, being at the Aragon ballroom, getting to see the ring before the fighters fight, this was a full circle moment for me

because from the Aragon ballroom to now, game to see the ring before the fighters fight at the piazza from the general mission side over the ledge is a surreal moment for me so my girlfriend and I head to the general mission side now before we go into this there's a fighter who is my girlfriend's trainer just want to say sorry to him and because unfortunately his fight was pulled from this his fight was pulled and canceled because it was due to unprofessional behavior and you know these fighters they from the time frame that it's promoted to the, the day that the event is starting and getting prepared for for the fighters to do they should know all the fighters should know how to prepare train from the time frame that it was promoted to the time and day that it's ready to become reality you see all these fires for for months

in days wherever the time frame from the promotion to the day that the fight happens it needs to be reminded that these fighters have to take initiative take in consideration the time that they waste

if they don't do the proper things that they do in order to get this fight accepted. You see? So what happened with my girlfriend's trainer, who was an MMA fighter, got due to unprofessional behavior in the, in a way. And unfortunately, his fight, car got pulled and canceled.

So, so the least that my girlfriend and I could do is stay there for the whole, whole fights. Because he was, he was in the, because he was in the, because he was to watch with lots of talented, experienced all over the world fighters that, that paid to be there too. And my girlfriend's trainer and fighter was still there to watch the show. So the least my girlfriend and I could do is be there in support of him watching also and supporting. And as he's cheering his buddies on and everything, it's unfortunate what happened. But you know the least that my girlfriend and I could do is be there in support of of him.

Has were supporting his buddies and everyone that that's watching and fighting in the octagon. So it was all, like I said, all 15 plus the proposal on the cards. It was a prize proposal out of nowhere. So unprofessional behavior is not to be taken, to be taken in consideration of and not condoned on this podcast at all. So just know that this fight, I was undefeated MMA coach. I was in the in the crowd supporting and observing with my girlfriend, having a great time at the venue by Maximus Promotions. It was such a great event.

The food, entertainment, the fights, everything. At the start, the lady was singing the national anthem with the flag. Everyone stand up before and put their hand on their chest to in salute of the national anthem before. And they took us through this great story of how Maximus Promotion started and where it is today and the future. and it's inspirational, motivational, and influential to see where it started because it didn't start for no reason. It started for a purpose and a reason. And where it is today is so successful today. and I was proud

proud to be there to watch with the fighters in the general mission area so and again in support of my girlfriend's trainer who was an MMA fighter

and coach so just know that no matter what happened And my girlfriend and I were there to support him and have a great time. Also to have a great time and support him no matter what happened and still be there for him, no matter what the case is. So my girlfriend and I had had a great time at this fight with all of it. and one of the buddies got to win a championship.

It was near the end of the show. And before my girlfriend and I left to go home from the venue, we saw them take a photo up on the side. before we shook their hands and went home. It was a great event. All the staff, all the venue, all the entertainment, all the food, all the fights, everything, all the fighters there.

Everything was such an amazing experience. So I hope everyone enjoy. this episode of Positiveity Successor. My first look back at the reflection of ourselves in the mirror.
