Welcome to positivity successor episode 290. Today's topic, what we're talking about is wrong decisions.
So let's get into it.
decisions. In life, we all are imperfect. We all go into wrong decisions. It's unexpected.
We all make, we have the chance to control the decisions we make. But sometimes the decisions
we make leads us in the wrong decisions. There's good decisions and there's bad decisions and there's bad
there's bad decisions and there's wrong decisions.
It's like making mistakes,
but that's where the learning from your mistakes comes in
because you can learn how to,
for what to not do next time.
It could be like a bad habit,
starting to pick up good habits
and learn now not to make wrong decisions next time.
For example, let's live it.
Genesis 3 1 through 13.
Wrong decisions.
Adam and Eve made a wrong decision,
and they ate from a tree that God had told them to leave alone.
Do you ever wonder why they did it?
For some answers, read Genesis 3.1 through 13.
Adam and Eve made the wrong decision because 3.4.
Someone told them it was all right to do the wrong thing.
3.5.
It looked like an exciting thing to do.
3.6.
A close friend did it first.
After Adam and Eve had made that wrong decision, they felt guilty and afraid.
They hid from God when he entered the garden.
They knew they had done wrong, but it was too late.
Think about what you should say if someone tells you it's all right to do a wrong thing.
If something wrong looks exciting or if a friend does a wrong thing first and wants you to do it too,
if you can't think of a good answer, ask an older friend or your mother or dad for advice.
Now going in the scripture of three, reading from 1 through 13.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.
He said to the woman, did God really say you must not eat from any tree in the garden?
The woman said to the serpent, we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,
but God did say you must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden.
You must not touch it or you will die.
You will not surely die, the serpent said to the woman,
for God knows that when you eat of it, your eyes will be opened,
and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food
and pleasing to the eye
and also desirable for gaining wisdom.
She took some and ate it,
and she also gave some to her husband
who was with her and he ate it.
Then the eyes of both
them were opened,
and they realized they were naked,
so they sewed,
sowed fig leaves together,
and made covering,
for themselves. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the good Lord of the Lord God as he was
walking in the garden in the cool of the day and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the
garden. Hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man,
where are you? He answered, I heard you in the garden. And I said, I heard you in the garden. And
I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.
And he said, who told you that you were naked?
Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?
The man said, the woman you put here with me, she gave me some fruit from the tree and I ate it.
Then the Lord God said to the woman, what is this you have done?
The woman said, the serpent deceived me and I ate.
So the Lord God said to the serpent, because you have done this, cursed are you above the livestock and all the wild animals, you will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust.
All the days of your life, and I will put eternity between you and the woman and between your offspring and hers.
He will crush your head, and you will strike his.
heal. To the woman, he said, I will greatly increase her pains in childbearing. With pain, you will give birth
to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you. To Adam, he said,
because you listen to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, you must not eat of it.
Cursed is the ground because of you through painful toil, you will eat of it all the day.
of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field.
Cursed as the ground because of you through a painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.
It will produce thorns and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field.
By the sweat of your brow, you will eat your food until you return to the ground since from it you will
were taken for dusty war. Adam named his wife Eve because she would become the mother of all the living.
The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and she clothed them. And the Lord God said,
The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand.
and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever.
So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work,
the ground from which he had been taken.
After he drove the man out,
he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden, Cherobum,
and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
So you see, making wrong decisions in life is bad.
And Adam and Eve weren't that when God told them not to eat from the tree of life,
and they made the wrong decision of eating from the tree of life anyway,
even though God told them not to eat from the tree of life, that was a wrong decision.
because God gave them an order of not eating from the true of life.
And they went and disobeyed the Lord and ate from the tree of life anyway.
And, you know, that's a life lesson in life when someone says don't do something
and you disobey them and do it anyway, that's a wrong decision.
You can't do something that someone told you already, you can't do,
and overstep them by doing it already.
And that's what Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve learned when God, when the Lord gave the order of,
don't interact with the tree of life.
and they took apple from the tree.
And that was the interaction with the tree of life
that the Lord told them not to interact with.
That was in order from the Lord.
And that's bad when, it's very bad when you overstep something
that the Lord tells you not to do in that in order.
And they got consequences because of what they did.
And that goes with another connection in life that the wrong decisions that you do has consequences.
And whether decisions you make in life, they should always be a good decision.
and what feels like in the heart that feels like someone else encourages you,
but not a decision that will give you consequences.
Because even though it may seem like a friend is okay with doing it,
make sure there's regulations, laws, and rules,
in that aspect.
Because with all the decisions that we make in life,
there's just lines and the decisions that we do not cross at all.
And that's with what may be in order in the eyes of,
like the Lord, for example,
you can't disobey the Lord by doing the wrong decision.
how Adam and Eve made the wrong decision of interacting with the tree of life when God told them,
the Lord told them that the Lord gave them a specific order, do not interact with the tree of life.
You may go in this garden, but do not interact with the tree of life.
And they interacted with the true life, even though the Lord told them not to.
And they disobeyed the Lord's order of the Lord telling them not to interact with the tree of life.
And Adam and Eve thought it would be okay, even though the Lord told them not to,
when it was a wrong decision to make.
because the Lord already told them what not to do,
and they disobeyed what not to do by doing it.
So let this be a life lesson to everyone out there.
Make a feel in your heart was right.
And if a guardian or someone of the decision that you're trying to make,
like imagine
cashing out
the cash register
if you're cashing out to a cash register
out of a cashier
is that a right person
yes it is
but if you're cashing out
out of a
cashier
who's a
that's a friend
that may
sneak in
that they may
let you go
with it. Is that a good decision of the person letting you go, the person and friend letting you go
with the item instead of paying for it? The cashier is the right person. Then the friend telling you
it's okay to cash out with it. So thanks for turning to our shimbabari. Myers hope back of the
reflections at yourselves in the mirror. The reflections at yourselves in the mirror tell you're
beautiful, enhancing people out there because you're a work in progress and we'll get to
