in life we like to be named things that would be great to our legacy great to like along the way of preparing for stuff being complimented

for the things that we do we don't want to be called bad names names like a family quarrel, like being given a bad name or bullying each other. We don't condemn bullying on the podcast at all. No way is there going to be any tolerance of bullying on this podcast. So with a new name, draws a peaceful and happy essential to our, our legacies in life. Because compliments can tell us that we are doing a great job so far in life.

Because you see like, Let's Live it, Genesis 32, 22 through 30, a new name. This Bible story tells how Jacob got the name Israel, which means he struggles with God. many people many bible people have names that tell something about them Abraham means father of many the Jewish people as well as their Arabs are descended from Abraham

Abraham was indeed the father of many Suppose God lets you pick a name to tell what you are like Here is a list of possible names obedient, smiling, neat, patient, hardworking, contented, prayerful, helpful, cheerful, trustworthy, peace-loving, thoughtful, thoughtful, truthful, thankful, thankful, loving. Pick the one you want to describe yourself just for fun. ask your family to use the new name for a day or two to remind you of the kind of person you want to be

in Genesis 32 22 through 30 says Jacob wrestles with God that night Jacob got up and took his two wives his two maid servants and his two 11 sons and crossed the ford of the Jabuk after he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. So Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him till daybreak. When the man saw that he could not overpower him,

Then the man said, your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome. Jacob said, Please tell me your name. But he replied, Why you ask my name? Then he blessed him there. So Jacob called the place,

Pennial, saying it is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared. The sun rose above him as he passed Pennial and he was limping because of his hip. Therefore, to this day, the Israelites did not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob's hip was touched near the tendon. So because the title is called Jacob

wrestles with God, Jacob got the name Israel because he was struggling with God. He was wrestling with God. and so then he got to a place called Penio saying it is because he saw God face to face and he said yet his life was spared and Abraham Abram got the name Abraham because it means he was the father of many suppose God lets you pick a name to tell what you are like

here is a list of possible names. So a name I would pick out is peace-loving because I want nothing but peace and loving of everything. And I'm also patient. I'm also smiling. I'm also prayerful. I'm also helpful.

I'm also cheerful. I'm also cheerful. also hardworking. I'm also trustworthy. I'm also thoughtful. I'm truthful. I'm thankful. I'm loving. I'm obedient and I'm neat. I'm contented. So there was one out of all these that I think of myself that that if God were to let me pick a name that I would like, it would be hardworking. I would choose hardworking because all I ever do is try to work very hard as much as I can out of all of these.

So if anyone out there, all of you out there, If you had to pick a name that God lets you pick a name, out of all these, I read them again. Obedient, smiling, neat, patient, hardworking, contented, prayerful, helpful, cheerful, trustworthy, peace-loving, thoughtful, truthful, thankful, and loving. which one of these words that I read would you pick if God lets you pick a name to tell what you are like out of all these which word would you pick? And pick the one that you want to describe yourself just for fun. Ask your family to use the name for a day or two to remind you of the person, the kind of person that you want to. want to be. Because when when Jacob was wrestling with God, he was given the name, he got the name Israel because he was struggling with God. So then he got to a place where being penile,

So because Jacob got the name Israel because he was struggling with God, he went to Penio. Then Abraham got the name Abraham because he meant the father of many. a definition of or a name attached to you can be a way to describe what you're going through throughout life. Like one of these words that I read that you could pick out, if God lets you, suppose God let you pick a name out for it. yourself to tell what you are like if one of these with any of these positive words to describe what you are going through and it doesn't have to be any of these up here there could be so there's like a huge list out there of all the compliments and all the names all the good names and good positives but

It could be a struggle that you're going through like Jacob did, where he got called Israel for struggling with God. So if you are like going through stuff like Jacob was going through, then that would be your name as well. But the struggle is what you're trying to overcome. And with the new name of these can be the overcoming of the struggle. that you're going through to be given a new name to make it, to say that you made it overcoming those struggles to the finish line.
