Continue on in the Bible with Peace on his book two. Let's get into it.
Peace Psalm 60.
For the director of music, to the tune of the Lilio,
of the covenant and mechtam of David for teaching what he fought Aram Naharam and Aram Zobahab and when Joab returned and struck down
12,000 Adamites in the vow of salt. You have rejected us, oh God, and burst forth upon us.
You have been angry, now restore us. You have shaken the land and tore it open.
Mend its fractures for it is quaking.
You have shown your people desperate times.
You have given us wine that makes us stagger.
But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner
to be unfurled against the bow.
Save us and help us with your right hand.
That those you love may be delivered.
God has spoken from a sanctuary and triumph that will parcel.
sell out to Chachem
and measure off the
valley of Sukkoth.
Glead is mine and Manese
is mine. Ephraim
is my helmet. Judah is
my scepter.
Moab is my
washbane
basin.
Upon Adam, I toss my
sandal over
Philistia.
I shout in triumph.
How will
who will bring me to
the fortified city.
Who will lead me to Adam?
Is it not you?
Oh God, you who have rejected us?
And no longer go out with our armies.
Give us aid against the enemy.
For the help of man is worthless.
But God, we will gain the victory.
And he will trample down our enemies.
Peace Psalm 61.
for the director of music with stringed instruments of David.
Hear my cry, oh God, listen to my prayer.
From the ends of the earth I call to you.
I call as my heart grows faint.
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For you have been in my refuge, a strong tower against the foe.
I long to dwell in your tent forever
and take refuge in the shelter of your wish.
wings, for you have heard my vows, oh God, you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
Increase the days of the king's life, his years for many generations.
May he be enthroned in God's presence forever.
Appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him, then I will ever sing,
praise to your name and fulfill my vows day after day.
Life in Bible times.
What God is like.
P. Psalm 61.3 says that God is like a strong tower.
Strong towers were built inside walled cities.
Even if the walls were broken down, the people of the city would be safe inside the tower.
Peace Psalm 62.
For the director of music for Judithon, a piece of
Peace of him of David.
My soul finds rest in God alone.
My salvation comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation.
He is my fortress.
I will never be shaken.
How long will you assault a man?
Would all of you throw him down?
This leaning wall?
This tottering fence?
They fully intend to topple him
from his lofty place.
They take the light and lies with their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse.
Find rest, oh my soul, and God alone.
My hope comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation.
He is my fortress.
I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God.
He is my mighty rock, my refuge, trust in him at all times.
O people, pour out your hearts to them, for God is our refuge.
Low born men are but a breath.
The highborn are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance, they are nothing.
Together they are only a breath.
Do not trust in exhaustion or take pride in stolen goods.
Though your riches increase, do not set your heart.
on them. One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard, that you, O God, are strong,
and that you, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done.
Peace on him 63. A peace of him with David when he was in the desert of Judah.
Oh God, you are my God. Earnestly, I seek you. My soul thirst for you. My body.
longs for you in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory because your love is better than life. My lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live. In your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be
satisfied with the riches of foods. With singing lips of my mouth,
will praise you.
On my bed, I remember you.
I think of you through the watches of the night.
Because you are my help.
I sing in the shadow of your wings.
My soul clings to you.
Your right hand upholds me.
They who seek my life will be destroyed.
They will go down to the depths of the earth.
They will be given over to the sword and become food for jackals.
But the king will rejoice in God.
All who swear by God's name will praise him, while the mouths of liars will be silenced.
Peace Psalm 64.
For the director of music, a peace on him and David.
Hear me, O God, has I voiced my complaints.
Protect my life from the threat of the enemy.
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of evil doers.
They sharpen their tongues like swords and name their,
words like deadly arrows.
They shoot from ambush
at the innocent man.
They shoot at him suddenly
without fear.
They encourage each other in evil
plans.
They talk about hiding their snares.
They say, who will see them?
They plot injustice and say,
We have devised the perfect plan.
Show you the mind and heart of men.
are cunning, but God will shoot them with arrows.
Some of them will be struck down.
He will turn their tongues against them and bring them to ruin.
All who see them will shake their heads and scorn.
All mankind will fear.
They will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done.
Let the righteous rejoice in the Lord and take refuge in him.
Let all the upright and heart praise him.
Peace Psalm 65.
For the director of music, peace on David, a song.
Praise awaits you, O God, and Zion.
To you our vows will be fulfilled.
Oh, you who hear a prayer to all you men will come.
When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions.
blessed are those you choose
and bring near to live in your courts
we are filled with the good things of your house
or of your holy temple
you answer us with awesome deeds or righteousness
oh God or Savior
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas
who form the mountains by your power
have armed yourselves
yourself with strength
who still the roaring
of the seas, the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil
of the nations
those living far away
fear your wonders
wonders
where morning
dawns and evening
fades. You call
forth songs of joy.
You care for the land and water it.
You enrich it abundant
The streams of God are filled with water
To provide the people with grain
So you have ordained it
You drench its furrows
And level its ridges
You soften it with showers
And bless its crops
You crown the year with your bounty
And your carts overflow with abundance
The grasslands of the dead
overflow the hills are clothed with gladness.
The meadows are covered with flocks in the valleys
are mantled with grain.
They shout for joy and sing.
Peace Psalm 66.
For the director of music, a song, a peace song.
Shout with joy to God, all the earth.
Sing the glory of his name.
Make his praise glorious.
Say to God,
how awesome are your deeds
So great is your power
That your enemies
Cringe before you
All the earth bows down
To you
They sing praise to you
They sing praise to your name
Come and see what God has done
How awesome his works
In man's behalf
He turned the sea
Into dry land
They pass through the waters
On foot
Come
Let us rejoice in him
He rules forever by his power
His eyes watch the nations
Let's not
Let not the rebellious rise up against him
Praise our God
O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard
He has preserved
Our lives and kept our feet from slipping
For you, O God, tested us.
You refined us like silver.
He brought us into us
to prison and laid burdens on our backs.
You let men ride all over our heads.
We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.
I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to you.
Thou my lips promised and my mouth spoke.
When I was in trouble, I would sacrifice fat animals to you.
and an offering of rams.
I will offer bulls and goats.
Come and listen.
All you who fear God,
let me tell you what he has done for me.
I cried out to him with my mouth.
His praise was on my tongue.
If I had cherished sin in my heart,
the Lord would not have sin,
have listened,
but God has surely listened.
I heard my voice and prayer,
prayer. Praise be to God who is not rejected my prayer or without his love for me.
Peace Psalm 67.
For the director of music with stringed instruments, a peace song, a song.
May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us.
That your ways may be known on earth.
Your salvation among all nations.
people's praise you, oh God. May all the people's praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy.
For you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth. May the peoples praise you,
oh God. May all the people's praise you. Then the land will yield its harvest. And God, our God,
will bless us. God will bless us.
And all the ends of the earth will fear him.
Words to treasure.
May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us.
Peace Psalm 67.1.
Peace Psalm 68.
For the director of music of David, a piece of him, a song.
May God arise.
May his enemies be scattered.
May his foes flee before him.
As smoke is blown away by the wind
May you blow them away
Has wax melts before the fire
May the wicked perish before God
But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God
May they be happy and joyful
Sing to him
Sing praise to his name
Extoll him who rise on the clouds
His name is the Lord
And rejoice before him
A father to the fatherless, the offender of the widows, and God in his holy dwelling.
God sets the lonely in families.
He leads forth the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious live in a sunscorched land.
When you went out before your people, O God, when you marched through the wasteland, the earth shook.
the heavens poured down rain before God, the one of Sinai,
before God, the God of Israel.
Yeah, you gave abundant showers, oh God, you refreshed your weary inheritance.
Your people settled in it.
And from your bounty, O God, you provided for the poor.
The Lord announced the word, and great was the company of those who proclaims,
claimed it. Kings and armies flee in haste. In the camps, men divide the plunder. Even while you sleep
among the campfires, the wings of my dove are sheathed with silver, its feathers with shining
gold with the almighty scattered the kings in the land. It was like snow falling on Zalman.
The mountains is Bashan.
are majestic mountains.
Rugged are the mountains at Bashan.
Why gaze in envy, all rugged mountains?
At the mountain where God chose to reign,
where the Lord himself will dwell forever.
The chariots of God are ten of thousands.
And thousands of thousands,
the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.
When you ascended on high
You led captives in your train
You received gifts from men
Even from the rebellious
That you, O Lord God, might dwell there
Praise be to the Lord
To God our Savior
Who daily bears our burdens
Our God is a God who saves
From the sovereign Lord
Comes escape from death
surely God will crush the heads of the enemies
The hairy crowns of those who go on into their sins
The Lord says I will bring them from Bashan
I will bring them from the depths of the sea
That you may plunge your feet in the blood of your foes
While the tongues of your dogs have their share
Your procession has come into view
Oh God
The procession of my God and king
into the sanctuary.
In front are the singers.
After them the musicians.
With them are the maidens playing tambourines.
Praise God in the great congregation.
Praise the Lord in the Assembly of Israel.
There is the little tribe of Benjamin leading them.
There are a great throng of Judah's princes.
There are the princes.
of Zubalon and Napata'i.
Summon your power,
O God.
Show us your strength,
O God,
as you have done before.
Because of your temple at Jerusalem,
kings will bring you gifts.
Reboot the beast among the reeds.
The herd of bulls
among the calves of the nations.
Humbold may bring bars of silver.
Scattered the nations who delight in war.
envoys will come from Egypt
Cush will submit herself to God
Sing to God
O kingdoms of the earth
Sing praise to the Lord
To him who rides the ancient skies
Above
Who thunders with mighty voice
Who proclaim the power of God
Who majesty is over Israel
Whose power is in the skies
You are awesome, O God
in your sanctuary.
The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.
Praise be to God.
Peace Psalm 69.
For the director of music to the tune of Lilies of David.
Save me, oh God.
For the waters I've come up to my neck.
I sink in the murray depths where there is no foothold.
I've come into deep waters.
The floods engulf me.
I am worn out for calling for help.
My throat is parched.
My eyes fail, looking for my God.
Those who hate me without reason outnumber the hairs in my head.
Many are my enemies without cause.
Those who seek to destroy me.
I am forced to restore what I did not steal.
You are, you know my full ill god,
Holy, O God, my guilt is not hidden from you.
May those who hope in you not be disgrace because of me.
O Lord, the Lord Almighty, may those who seek you not be put to shame because of me.
O God of Israel, for I endure scorn for your sake, and shame covers my face.
I am a stranger to my brothers and alien to my own mother's sons.
For zeal for your house consumes me.
And the insults of those who insults you fall on me.
When I weep in fast, I must endure scorn.
When I put on sackcloth, people make sport of me.
Those who sit at the gate mock me, and I am the song of the drunkards.
But I praise to you, Lord, in the time of your favor and your great,
love, oh God. Answer me
with their sure salvation.
Rescue me from the
mirror. Do not
let me sink. Deliver me
from those who hate me.
From the deep waters.
Do not let the flood
waters engulf me or the depths
swallow me up
or the pit close its mouth
over me. Answer
me, O Lord, out of the goodness
of your love and your great
mercy turn to me. Do not hide
your face from your servant. Answer me quickly, for I am in trouble. Come near and rescue me.
You redeem me because of my foes. You know how I am scorned, disgraced, and shamed.
All my enemies are before you. Scorn has broken my heart. It left me helpless. I looked for
sympathy, but there was none. For comforters, but I found
none. They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst. May the table set before them
become a snare. May it become a retribution in a trap. May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see
and their backs be bent forever. Pour out your wrath on them. Let your fierce anger overtake them.
May their place be deserted.
Let there be no one to dwell in their tents.
For they persecute those you wound
and talk about the pain of those you hurt.
Charge them with crime upon crime.
Do not let them share in your salvation.
May they be blotted out of the book of life
and not be listed with the righteous.
I am in pain and distress.
stress. May your salvation,
O God, protect me. I'll
praise God's name and song
and glorify Him with Thanksgiving.
This will please
the Lord more than an ox.
More than a bull with
its horns and hoops.
The poor will see
and be glad. You who
seek God, may your hearts
live. The Lord
hears the needy and does
not despise his captive
people.
Let's heaven and earth praise him.
The seas and all that move in them, for God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah.
Then people will settle there and possess it.
The children of his servants will inherit it.
And those who love his name will dwell there.
That's your going to stop, but put back up with Peace Psalm 70.
