Consideration of the priests 29. This is what you are to do to considerate them, so they may serve me.
Starting point is 00:00:31 as priests. Take a young bull and two rams without defect. And from fine wheat flour without use make bread and cakes mixed with oil and wafers spread with oil. Put them in a basket and present them in it along with the bull and the two rams. Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water. Then no plague will come on them when you number them. Each one who crosses over to those already counted is to give a half shekel. According to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs 20 grasse. This half shekel is an offering to the Lord. All who cross over those 20 years old or more are to give an offering to the Lord. The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the Lord to atonement for your lives.

Make these into a sacred
Starting point is 00:11:45 anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer. It will be the sacred anointing oil, then used to anoint the tent of meeting, the arc of the testimony, the table, in all its articles, the lamp stand in its accessories, the altar of the incense,
Starting point is 00:12:07 the altar of the burnt offering, and all its utensils in the basin with its stand. You shall considerate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy. Anoint Aaron and his sons and incarcerate them so they may. Ser me as priests say to the Israelites, this is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come. Do not pour on men's bodies and do not make any oil with the same formula.
Starting point is 00:12:38 is sacred and you are to consider it sacred. Whoever makes perfume like it, whoever puts down anyone other than a priest must be cut off from its people. Incense Then the Lord said Moses take fragrant spices, gum, resin on Natcha, and Galbenum, and pure frankincense, all in these equal amounts, and make a fragrant blend of incense,
Starting point is 00:13:08 the work of a perfumer is to be salted and pure and sacred. Grind some of it to powder and poison in front of the testimony in the tenta meeting, where I will meet with you, it shall be the most holy to you, shall be most holy to you. Do not make any incense with this formula for yourselves, consider it holy to the Lord. Whoever makes any like it to enjoy its fragrance must be caught from. its people.
