Tonight, I'm Provote.
25 years of war for nothing.
All humans break.
The difference between humans and gods is that gods can break humans.
Negotiate now.
End this war.
You're watching Provoked with Darrell Cooper and Scott Horton,
debunking the propaganda lies of the past, present, and future.
This is provoked.
Mr. Cooper.
Good evening.
What up?
How are you, sir?
Oh, I'm all right, man.
There's so much going on in the world today that is not good and not worth being happy about.
And it is just about the 25th anniversary of 9-11.
But I've been buried 12 hours a day for the last few weeks trying to get this next history episode done for my podcast.
And I'm almost there.
So I'm in a good mood.
That's great.
I know that your audience, our audience and yours will be very happy to hear.
hear that. I'm really looking forward to listen to that.
What about you?
Yeah, well, you want to hear a funny story?
Let's go.
So I got this old friend of mine.
And from junior high school, we were best friend, skateboard friends together and stuff.
And the last time I talked to him, I think must have probably been in February of 2003.
That's the way I remember it.
And already at that time, we hadn't seen.
each other in a few years, but we would still talk on the phone every once in a while,
made sure to stay friends with each other and stuff. But I hadn't spoken to him in a little while.
I talked to him again, and now his hippie-dippy, flower, sun, dress, older sister is dating a guy in
the army, and she's joined the army, and so has my friend. And he's all excited he's about to ship
off to Iraq. And I can't believe it, because I'm anti-government, new world order, conspiracy
coot fucking boy. So, of course, I try to talk him out of going with, like, Conno,
Lisa Rice is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations or some stupid crap, you know,
that was completely beside the point at the time.
No, see, it must have been earlier.
It must have been, it must have been like in late 2002.
Because I was, I was reading more Romando by early 2003, I think.
Eh, anyways, somewhere around there.
Anyway, so then I never seen this dude again since then.
And from time to time, I would Google his name and never find anything or like the barest
scrap of information that just led absolutely nowhere kind of thing, you know?
And I always thought, and I had checked the casualty list and stuff, and they admitted all that.
I mean, maybe some of the very top tier, deniable guys weren't named, but I don't have any reason to believe that.
But anyway, so his name was never on there, so that was good.
And I even got the idea to ask Grock, and Grock couldn't find the guy.
But then I got smart, and I remembered that I remembered his birthday.
And I started remembering things about his family.
And so I started putting all this into the chat GPT on Super Smart mode.
and it found my guy.
And then it laughed at me in chat, GPT, laughter type sort of a way and said,
geez, your statement here that this guy was in the Army is quite an understatement.
It turns out that he's a sergeant major in the special forces and was promoted to that in,
I guess I won't say wouldier, just like I won't say his name here.
of course, because I got no call to.
But then I have two friends that are Green Berets.
And maybe more, actually.
Actually, I do have at least three friends who are Green Berets.
Anyway, so one of them is Joe Kent.
So I emailed Joe Kent.
And I said, hey, Joe Kent, did you have a friend in the Special Forces named this?
And he wrote me back right away.
Definitely.
Great guy, brave warrior and, and,
devout Christian and wonderful guy,
and he sends me pictures of my boy out there.
And so then I'm just tripping out
because it's great to know that he's doing great
and has done great all this time and whatever,
but then I think it's a total trip
of what a yin-yang story that is
where like he's him and I'm me this whole time,
sort of, I thought immediately of like a husband and wife
that vote Republican and Democrat
and it makes each other out or something like that.
Like, you're well-known skater punk to Green Beret
pipeline.
you know, America's Special Operations Forces
really couldn't survive without it, so...
Yeah, I'm sure that that's true.
And same for anti-war libertarianism, too, man.
There's a few of us.
But anyway, so I don't know.
I asked Joe if he thought
maybe he could put us in touch or something,
but I didn't hear back after that.
So I don't know if that'll happen.
If even that's a good idea.
But I just thought that was cool.
Yeah, that is cool.
I mean, if he's a Sergeant Major in the Bray,
I mean, there's not a lot of those.
That's a, that dude's been around the last 20 years.
Yeah, apparently.
And so I guess I won't say dates, but Joe said that they were not on the same A teams,
but that they served at the same time in the same places.
And, you know, here's pictures he took of my guy.
And then he said they fought two different times together,
two different deployments a couple of years apart in Rock War II.
And then I asked if he knew if he'd been to Afghanistan,
Kent has not been to Afghanistan.
And I asked if he knew that about my guy and he said he didn't know.
Maybe we'd try to find out or something.
Yeah, the Greek phrase is a trip, man.
I mean, you know a couple of them.
We both know a few of them.
You know, it used to be that the special operations branches, missions were much more sort of separate and defined.
And now, since the war on terror, there's a lot of crossover.
A lot of the things that you see that used to be specialties of one, you know, the other's
do some of them.
But still, the Green Berets are, to me, like, they're, a lot of the others, and this is no shade
on, like, you know, Marsok or the Seals or any of the others, but a lot of them are sort of
like combat athletes, you know, they're badass fighters, dude, they, like, they can, they're,
they're highly motivated, like, very, very, like, tight, you know, tight mindset.
guys you do not want kicking down your door,
you know, just highly effective shooters.
And they can do a lot of other things too.
The Green Berets are interesting just because, you know,
I will just think about it like when we first started in Afghanistan.
You got to look around the U.S. military
and figure out who are we going to get
that we're going to send up into the mountains on some horses,
I think at first.
I don't know that whole story or how much of it's true, whatever.
but like we're going to send some guys up into the mountains to go hook up with this Northern Alliance bunch of dudes that we really haven't been in too much contact with for quite some time and they're going to go up there and start organizing these guys for a fight.
Like there's a lot of sort of, you know, like cultural training and just you have to be a certain kind of person to do that.
You know, you don't just have to be a badass. Like you have to be a certain kind of person who's going to go up and solve problems.
I mean, that's really what a lot of them will tell you.
you that like, yeah, of course, you got to be able to get through the, you know, the runs,
the tough training and all that kind of stuff. Sure, it'll filter out like the people who can't
hang as far as that. It'll filter out the people who are going to give up if things get really,
really hard, basically. But the thing that they're really looking for, especially with the
green berets, is we're going to send you up to do something and there's not going to be an
instruction manual and the people that you're going to be doing it with. Maybe we don't even really
know yet. Just go figure it out. Go figure it out. And that's a, you know, that's a, that's a, that's a,
That's a tough, tough job that not everybody can do.
Yeah.
And look, I know that every last one of our guys had no business whatsoever in Iraq,
right down to my old best friend and your good buddy Jocko and everybody else who is over there.
I got a lot of guys, a lot of friends who may not have been green berets,
but went to Iraq and back, and especially that I've known over the years.
And I just never have seen fit to be able to hold it against them.
As I said, my best argument against why he should be in the army
was some stupid kid stuff compared to like what he literally was doing,
not just thought he was doing.
And I understand too, because whatever,
I went to government school and they teach this much
that like the deal is if you're a soldier,
like that's the end of the sentence, man, you're a soldier.
It's not your job to decide policy.
That would be a real problem if it was.
You know, they turn you into this lethal force,
but then you've got to obey who you're directed at from above
and not make your own choices and all that.
But then it comes with that.
It's supposed to be a bunch of trust that, well, they wouldn't misuse you.
They're not going to send you to war against a country that never threatened us
or did anything to us.
They're not going to make up a bunch of lies about how these Katusha rocket tubes
must be for centrifuges to make nuclear bombs out of Darrell,
this line of crap.
And that's supposed to be the deal, right?
The soldiers don't question.
They keep their end of the bargain, basically.
They do what they're supposed to do,
but then the people with the power don't
and use them and abuse them.
Yeah, I mean, ever since the Nuremberg trials,
you know, we have all heard over and over
that I was just following orders
is not an excuse, you know, for bad behavior.
And it's like, well, I mean,
it's not an excuse for bad behavior if you lose the war.
But beyond that, I mean, it's like you said, it's a really tough problem.
Because like here's the thing, like when you read the accounts from World War II of a lot of, you know, SS officers,
a lot of guys who were involved in some of the heavy stuff on the Eastern Front,
well, you really, like something that really comes through is it's not as if they decided to do these bad things.
over and over and over and over and over again. What they did was make one decision that it's not my
decision. I follow the orders of my chain of command because that's how this whole thing works.
And if we don't do it that way, then everything falls apart. And like, what's the point of a military?
It has to be that way. You know, we have a government in place. I can like it or not. But it's in place.
It's the government. And there has to be a structure for how our military forces are deployed and how
they're used and I'm just a soldier. And it's just not my role to be, you know, standing, that's
for the politicians. That's for the people way up there. We have a system in place that's supposed
to debate these issues, decide how, you know, to deploy our forces, what's acceptable, what's
not acceptable. Those are all things that like the people, the nation, you know, through whatever
institutions that we've gotten place to do it, maybe they're terrible, but we have them in place
so that the nation can make these decisions
and I go carry those things out.
And, you know,
it's really easy to look back on countries
that aren't our own or ancestors
that aren't ours or something like that
and decide that, you know, that's not a valid
excuse for things you do, but,
you know,
we'd have a hell of a lot of guys making
that excuse here
for ourselves if we ever, like,
you know, lost one of these wars and ended up
on trial, you know?
Yeah. And look, you got to draw a line.
somewhere and some guys did.
There was an officer from Hawaii named Aaron
Watata, who was, I believe, a captain,
who said, I refuse to deploy to Iraq.
I'm not going to do this, and I'm not going to make my guys
do this.
I'm not going to give them illegal orders and demand that they
follow them at threat of court martial because they're illegal
orders. This is an illegal war, and what am I stupid?
No. And they should have all done the same, man,
is the truth.
I mean, the problem, though, right?
is like, okay, when did that guy join the military?
1996, after we'd been bombing Iraq for five, six years.
Like, there is a certain point where it's like, what did you think you were getting yourself into, dude?
Like, I mean, it's, that's the whole, I'm not saying, you know, from a moral standpoint, like, I give that guy credit.
I'm not trying to, like, throw shade.
I'm just saying, like, it's not as if we've, like, woke up one day in 2003 and decided to start deploying our military in ways that,
I mean, that's the real trick, isn't it?
That, like, you know, I'd say, here's so many people tell it, Daryl, that, like,
they never say this part, as completely implied is that for all they knew,
America was bereft of a standing army on September 11th and needed to raise one really quickly.
That's why me and 30,000 other people from my state all joined the army,
because I didn't think we had enough guys to sat Torabora with,
when in fact we had a million man standing army,
including half a million ready to deploy on the ground
with some form of firearm.
So like, get the hell out of here, people.
Had no idea.
People, they just presumed, I guess, that, like, they need me.
Why would they need you?
It's already a world empire, everybody, but, like, not.
All they, what they needed you for was so they could do all these bonus wars,
that they didn't need you for, not really.
You know, one of the things that...
Money here.
Expat money, guys, what you do?
Go to expatmoney.com slash provoked.
And it's really important that you do
because you can figure out how to protect your neck,
invest your assets in property overseas
and or even get citizenship.
Coming up very soon is the expat money summit.
We'll be talking about that a little bit more coming up.
But that is a free, essentially, you know,
core symposium on how you can invest
in Latin America and protect your neck and diversify your assets for the fall of the empire here.
And then, you know, there's some upsells and things like that, but it's free to attend and learn
all kinds of stuff. And then you can also get this great booklet, Plan B, Residencies and Instant
Citizenships, if you just go to expatmoney.com slash provoked. And now, I'm sorry, sir, you were
going to say. Just that, you know, you talk to a lot of younger people these days, now that I'm, you know,
getting up there in years.
And you talk to some younger people
who were kids or maybe not even born yet
when 9-11 happened
and when we invaded Iraq.
And it's kind of hard to explain to them now
because people, like,
as much as the internet has,
you know,
sort of supercharged propaganda in a lot of ways,
it's still, you know,
it's made information and alternative views.
Like a lot of the people who buy into propaganda today,
can't claim that they've never heard alternative views.
Like, they reject them or whatever,
because it didn't come from my team or just whatever it is,
but they've been exposed to them if they're online.
It's hard to explain them.
Like, back then, man, that was just not the case.
Like, you had, if you rode in Scott Horton's cab
when you were visiting Austin, then, yeah, you heard all about it, you know.
But if you weren't one of those people,
if, like, you just, people, it's not as if people, like,
were completely trusting up the government and the media and everything.
we hadn't been ever since like the 60s since Vietnam.
But compared to now, if the government,
I mean, if you're in high school and your teachers are saying after 9-11,
like you guys are graduating, how many of you joining the Army?
Because that's a great thing.
And we all salute you as you go off to serve your country.
Your teachers are saying that.
Your preachers saying it.
Your parents are saying it.
You know, every channel is telling you that this is a noble way
to live your life.
I mean,
we can look back now
and be like,
well, they shouldn't know.
I mean,
they could have found
Justin Ramondo's,
you know,
work.
I mean, it's like,
yeah,
but man,
like,
they thought that
they were doing
what their whole
culture system
was telling them
was the right thing
to do, you know?
Yeah,
and look,
I mean,
I'll pick on my guy
particularly.
It was the first thing
that Joe Kent said
about him.
Very brave guy.
I mean,
he was willing to go first,
first and this kind of thing.
Putting his life on the line, fighting for
his country, defending
the people of America, or
so he at least mostly
believed at the time. Right?
That like, in fact, did I already
say this? One of the last things he said
to me was George Bush is doing some really good
things for us right now. He
believed in it, dude. He really trusted
I know that he did. And
he believed that Bush wouldn't have been sending him
to Iraq if he didn't need to
do that. You know what I mean? It makes a betrayal
like so much worse. It does. It totally
you know. I'm glad that my guy is not one
of the 1,200 guys in Iraq
and Afghanistan who lost their
legs and testicles
fighting in those wars.
And nobody ever confronts George W. Bush
with that. In fact,
I have this short clip here. I was on Kyle
Anselawn show today
and they played this
clip for me here, so I'm going to
re-gift it.
Reaction to 9-11.
Yeah, I mean, you tell it.
There was all kinds of stuff going on, you know.
And of course, we were, you know, a lot of it was new,
so we were, and if you look back, you say we overreacted.
But at the time, I don't think we overreacted.
We were very, very wise about how we dealt with these threats to were coming.
Yeah.
Jesus Christ.
Okay, sorry.
9-11, how we...
Dude, in the whole crowd and just everything.
And then just the way he slouching in that idiot look on his face
and idiot Connolly's a rice there,
sorry for using idiot twice in a row like that.
That's bad writing.
But man, and, oh, gee, some people think we overreacted.
As I ranted to Kyle, I mean, the thing is,
in a way you could say the plan was to get America to overreact.
in that sort of general sense.
But to narrow it down,
the plan was to give George W. Bush
an excuse,
a crisis to cynically exploit
in order to over-extend the empire
and destroy it.
So, just like a Rand Corporation study
about what we need to be doing
to the Russians in Ukraine
or before that in Afghanistan
was the same thing that they're just doing to us.
That was what it was all about.
And George would be pushed and overreact.
What was he afraid?
That wasn't it.
In fact, let me see.
Well, no, I don't want to waste your time with this.
I'll just tell you, everybody can look this up.
And I have the entire quote,
I wouldn't dare put an ellipses in it.
I have the entire quote in enough already,
where he's asked it in March,
it's either March 2nd or March 6th of 2002.
Yeah, but what about Osama bin Laden?
All you ever talk about is Saddam Hussein,
says the lady reporter.
and then, you know, he's just George W. Bush, dude.
It's the best he can do, Darrell,
because he stammers through it.
Well, I just think you just don't understand the concept here, lady,
if you think that this is all about one man.
Because, see, he's on the run.
He's been marginalized,
and he's no longer in control of the government of Afghanistan
that he was controlling.
And so now that he's on the run,
I'm truly not concerned about him.
And if you think it's about him,
then you don't understand the concept of the war on terrorism.
I'll repeat myself.
I am truly not concerned about him.
Because the real problem is Baghdad.
And that's why we're going to Baghdad.
And it's just,
it's the best an idiot could do in the circumstance, right?
He's got to somehow figure out how to, you know,
shade this transition from one topic to another here.
And the lady goes, yeah, but in your heart,
don't you think that kind of matters whether we get the guy or not?
And he goes, no, it does not either.
This is where he says, I'll repeat myself.
As long as he's on the run,
then that's all that matter.
That's good enough for me.
And we are turning away.
And it's just so clear, it's just as transparent as blast.
All that's going on there is he needs this guy out there.
So he could tell your mom and dad that we can't stop now.
The bad guy's still out there.
And so not stopping now means going to Baghdad next.
and so, and, you know, who cares if Saddam's friends with Osama, Daryl, if Osama's already dead.
Nobody.
They needed that enemy, that excuse.
And of course, they weren't friends anyway.
They were lying about that, but they needed an alive person to lie about.
And so they let him go.
And it's the worst treason.
That George W. Bush, hey, if Russell Kirk can say it about George H.W. Bush,
then I can say that George W. Bush should have.
have been hanged on the White House lawn.
He's the worst premeditated
war criminal, traitor to this country,
traitor to the Constitution, and the American
people. Fuck him.
Yeah, and
everything in
Texas is named after them
for some reason. I just...
The Texans not even know that they're a Connecticut
family that's like faking their accent.
Like, do they even care? Let me tell you
something, Darrell Cooper. I don't know if you know
this, okay? But George
Bush was governor for six years.
already before he ever even bought that pig farm.
It was all it was was a pig farm.
And then it was just Carl Rove dressed it up as a set.
I don't know if they literally got people from Hollywood.
They probably did.
But they literally like brought in an old, you know, weathered, old wooden stable and bales of hay
and a rusted old tractor.
And it was just a set.
It was a TV set.
And they moved him out there to Crawford.
and they put a straw in his mouth
and told them to get in that Ford
and drive around like you're a good old boy,
which, you know, he was somewhat raised in West Texas,
but he was absolutely from Connecticut.
And, you know, obviously always a carpetbagger.
And then, but no, they just bought it.
Even then, I would say, even when he first ran for governor.
Like, dude, it ain't like he's Ronald Reagan's son,
one of whom is like a Hillary Clintonite
and the other one was like a regular,
typical Rush Limbaugh type radio.
host. But it's not like he's Ronald Reagan, so he's George Bush's son. Like, who was
impressed by this? But it was just, same as always, the other guys are worse. And so what are
you going to do? You know what I mean? And that was the choice that people were left to make,
as George Garland was a... I mean, if that whole thing had happened today, like with Trump
in office, Trump, like, I don't know if this would be better or worse, but like Trump wouldn't even
stammer through an answer like the one Bush gave. He just would have said, oh, we know
for sure that Osama is actually
in Baghdad right now
in Saddam's bed and
every night he tells them exactly what to do
and we're just going to go get him.
He just would have made something up completely
off the top of this one. I know
W. Bush must be so jealous.
I know. You mean he can just straight
of just make up the most absolutely
like dude those Ketusha
rockets, those aluminum tubes were
for firing nuclear Kutush
rockets there. You know?
After the mission accomplished thing, he
mean, he's like, you mean I could have just kept saying that we won the war and it's over and
they're destroyed and that's that? And like, yeah, he must be.
Listen, shameless plug, but not really because here, it's free. Anna's archive. If you don't know
about that, they pirated every book in the whole damn world, I guess. But I don't mind.
They got all my books on there. I've sold plenty. I would like to continue selling more.
But here, you know, numerous people apparently have uploaded the e-pubs and PDFs of enough already.
my version of the Terror Wars,
Jimmy Carter all the way through,
and, you know,
in fact, hell, as long as I'm talking about that,
let me tell you about this, dude.
Check it out.
Oh, wait, is it sharing it?
No, it's not sharing it.
I'll have to do a thing.
Hang on.
I'm not that good of this live.
It's pretty cool, though,
if I can figure out how to do it, right?
And I think you'll like it.
What it is, this is what I've been working on,
is um
if I can show you here dude
I have been nitpicking like crazy
over
um
no that's not it
uh
over
fools errand
uh my first book
that I wrote that came out
in um
2017
fool's errand time to end the war
in Afghanistan, and I've now nitpicked over it. I've fixed one million little typos and made a
couple of outright corrections and retractions to some bad stuff in there, but otherwise it's all
good. And I've got a new subtitle on it, a true history of America's War in Afghanistan.
And my good buddy, Andrew, has done the art here and made it sunset, so you can tell the new version
from the old. And I'm also right now going through enough already, and Will Porter has got the start
for me of filling enough already with links.
You might remember that I put it out without lengths because I was just in such a damn
hurry.
I just, you know, no footnotes.
I just put it out.
I mean, I cite my sources in the pros a lot, but whatever.
Anyway, so we're putting out a full footnoted version of enough already as well.
And then I'm also doing a final version after having read the audio book out loud and made
10 million little corrections, a final version of provoked as well.
So that's what I'm working on right now that hopefully all have done by the end of
the year. And I also have the last little bits of Donald Trump's chapter of the audio book
of Provoked to edit and get that out published for you here pretty soon. So for those of you
who've been waiting for that, I got that coming up. Man, all this talk, you notice making me think
of is that Dave Chappelle bit where he's a black George Bush. He's got the CIA director and
stuff. That's so good. Where, yeah, the black CIA director comes out and he's wearing the full
fur coat.
I got my CIA napkin
with the yellow cake.
Don't drop that shit.
Oh, don't drop that shit.
Oh, and the thing
like, what about the oil?
And he's like, whoa, who's anything about oil?
He knocks on the water and they all run.
Who's anything about oil?
Bitch, you cooking?
Oh, good stuff, man.
I'd play that except then we'd get all
copyright struck.
Hey, let me tell you about this other thing.
thing before I change the subjects back to the worst, man.
I interviewed Scooter Downey.
Who's Scooter Downey?
Scooter Downey is Tucker Carlson's guy.
And he has a video production company, and he's an investigative journalist.
And you know what he did?
He did Tucker Carlson's documentary just out about the Oklahoma City bombing.
And it's called the Oklahoma OKC files.
And maybe I have a link here so I can show you the thing.
Anyway, whatever.
You can find this at Scotthorton.org slash interviews or Scotthorton show.com
or on my YouTube channel, YouTube.com slash Scott Horton Show.
And anyway, as you may know, I'm a big Oklahoma City bombing truther.
I have been ever since the day of the Oklahoma City bombing.
I won't get into the whole thing.
But anyway, I just have always known about this.
And it's a huge and crucial and important story to me.
And there have been numerous documentaries over the years,
Daryl, of various degrees of quality,
including one very good one that came out last year on HBO
that was produced by or executive produced by Katie Couric
of all people, believe it or not.
And that one was great.
And it really, it should have moved the ball,
but it didn't really.
But I really think the production values on this are so high
is going to be a nine-part documentary series.
And I had a good talk with Scooter Downey
before he really got started on this,
where I warned him against all the idiot rabbit trails
and, you know, things to, like, be warned about
and who's a real expert to talk to and who's not and whatever.
And I have a full massive archive of documents at Scott Horton.org.
No, no, no, sorry, pardon me, at Libertarian Institute.org slash OKC.
And this is all of my documents that I had saved over many years.
And then combined with Richard Booth, who is, you know, my favorite,
I think the most crucial Oklahoma City bombing researcher in America.
And he came and really organized and added all his files and organized it all.
all beyond anyone's wildest hopes or dreams, actually.
That's all at Libertarian Institute.org slash OKC.
And anyway, it's just the biggest deal in the world of me.
I know that this was 31 years ago.
But the guilty got away with it and they shouldn't have.
And the cops let them go because they were government informants,
is long and the short of it.
But anyway, so that's a huge deal.
And I don't think it's on their regular YouTube.
I think you're going to have to go.
It's going to be like for subscribers only.
on the Tucker Carlson channel.
But they only have chapter one.
They just get into introducing some of the cast of characters,
showing what happened in the bombing
and raising the original initial questions
about the identity of John Doe 2.
And that's as far as they get in chapter 1.
But it's really good.
And I like this guy Downey,
and I think he's done a great job already.
And I have a lot of confidence in where he's going with this.
So I highly encourage people to get interested in that story
and help make finally the minority
report the official version of the story, which is that is absolutely how lousy and corrupt the FBI
is that it was their informants who did this and then they protected their own necks by letting
the guilty go free after bombing 168 of their own goddamn government employees to death and
their babies too. And then they said, oh, well, what are we going to do? We can't let ourselves
be embarrassed. It's not like a single one of them would have gone to jail. We just don't want to
get embarrassed. Maybe you have to lose our job and go get a job washing dishes.
or only savage or something.
And so that was why they let the guilty go free.
I have no clever segue for this question or whatever,
but my man Gorilla Feet pointed out something that I was thinking myself,
what is with that task bar you've got on your computer, dude?
That is crazy.
You got, like, I don't even, if I put links to every file on my computer,
I would not have that many.
What is going on?
It's a bunch of shit, you know?
I don't know.
I only use some of them.
sometimes.
And yeah, I
can't figure out how to make
Streamyard only show
the screen part. It always shows
all the tabs and address
bar and whatever crap. I don't
think I have sufficient working memory
to have a task bar that big.
I would just forget what like two thirds of
them were and they would never get used.
That's the case with most
of them, but then, you know, like I need them for
something at some point kind of.
You know, it comes up.
All right, look, man, we've got to do the news,
but let me just tell you about liberty stickers.com.
When I was a kid, I was like, I don't know, I'm 14,
and I was walking on the drag.
That's Guadalupe Street across from UT in Austin.
And this punk rocker,
who I don't remember what he looked like anymore,
but I remember he was covered in spikes and stuff, you know.
He gave me this flyer.
I actually still have it.
Where the hell is it?
I have it here somewhere.
And it's a flyer, and it has a police state guy
and says, bite back while you still can.
and the guy has a badge that says,
Global Police, 2000 and whatever.
And honestly, Daryl is a huge inspiration to me, man.
I was already like this anyway,
but I was like, yeah, man, fight back why you still can,
because later on, it's going to be too late.
You wish you tried, and then whatever.
I sell bumper stickers like that at LibertyStickers.com.
Everyone else's stickers suck.
There, fine.
Now let's talk about substantive stuff.
I wrote this article for attack.
Actually, John Weeks wrote it, but I told them what to say.
You want to see it?
It's called Bourbon Street Attack was Foreign Policy Blowback.
I already tell you about this.
You mentioned it, but I, tell me more.
Okay, so here's the deal, man.
New Year's Eve 24 to 25.
Bourbon Street,
an army veteran named Abu Shaboo, whatever the crap.
Took a rated electric truck,
like a Ford F-150 lightning thing, I think.
And he drove right around the cop car,
got on Bourbon Street,
hit the gas and killed 14 people,
including one guy that he shot when he got out of the truck.
How are you going to make me laugh and then drop that on me, bro? Come on.
I'm sorry.
Well, look, the funny part is it was all Barack Obama.
No, it was all Joe Biden's fault, which is kind of Barack Obama's fault.
But listen, what happened was, I'm sorry, I just forgot the guy's name.
That's some ridiculous.
Dirka, Irka, Mohamed Jihad, something.
Exactly.
The guy from the puppet movie.
And the cops blew him away.
He got out of the truck, he shot one guy, and then they finished his ass off.
So happy ending there.
But he killed 14 people.
Now, you got distracted.
So did everybody else got distracted, Mr. Cooper?
Because what happened was another Army veteran shot himself and detonated a bomb at the same time virtually in a Tesla truck out in front of a Trump hotel in Las Vegas.
Oh, yeah.
Right?
And he wrote an email to Sean Ryan, the first.
famous podcaster, veteran, I think Special Forces guy, whoever, Ranger.
Steel, yeah.
Oh, okay.
And it was full of a bunch of wacky stuff and whatever.
So that caught everybody's attention and nobody cared about what happened on Bourbon Street.
Okay.
But then here was my thing is, as I said to Kyle Anselaon on his show the next day, the first day of 2025,
this guy had to have been motivated by what's happening in Gaza.
It's just a 100% chance of that.
It's impossible that it was anything else.
and we know that he recorded himself ranting in videos he posted to Facebook for his family
as he drove between Houston and New Orleans, which is a few hours.
I forget exactly two and a half hours or three hours, something.
I've driven it before, but not without problems.
But anyway, so they cover that up.
But then what happened was I interviewed the aforementioned Joe Kent.
And I said, hey, Joe, I mean, you're the head of the Counterterrorism Center.
can you tell me about this? And he said, he heard, he saw the videotapes and read the transcripts.
And he knows for a fact and can confirm that yes, indeed, this guy was ranting about Israel's
slaughter of the people of Palestine on our dime and under American, you know, government diplomatic
protection and the rest. And that was, I mentioned the particulars about the diplomatic protection,
but I'm just referring to the facts. But he was ranting about the war.
and American support for Israel in the war.
And then they cover that up.
And now I tried to get better,
or not better, but secondary confirmation,
and I wasn't able to get full confirmation from anyone,
and the Justice Department wouldn't comment.
So it's a single source, but it's on the record,
and we know it was the director of the Counterterrorism Center.
And so he absolutely had access to that intelligence,
and he has no need to lie to me to shine me on on my little podcast.
and jeopardize his own reputation for saying something that's potentially
provably not true.
And so I believe him.
And it would have been better if I could have got a second source,
but I already knew that, that of course is the case,
is impossible that this wasn't the case anyway.
And then I went through and I showed how there's so many of these attacks,
including the entire Al-Qaeda War Against America before September 11,
including, you know, many attacks in the 1990s.
And it meant an attack since then where, you know,
the L-Out counter and the Paducah, Kentucky, and the Little Rock and the whatever, there's a bunch of them.
I list them all in here with links to show how all of the, he had so many of these attacks where they cited American support for Israel and what they're doing.
One of the ones that I left off that I didn't realize until after the fact was Faisal Shazad that did the attempted time square bombing of 2010.
And he mentioned it in his argument with the judge at his sentencing.
as well. And so anyways, that's the point is so much of this blowback terrorism that is directed
at the United States up to and including and since September 11th is motivated by America's support
for Israel. And even when bin Laden is ranting through the 1990s and recruiting people based on his
propaganda about American bases on the Holy Arabian Peninsula, land of Mecca and Medina,
the birthplace of Muhammad and Islam,
that that was all under the dual containment policy
that was dictated to America by Yitzhak Rabin.
And, you know, it was his policy that he essentially voiced
on Bill Clinton through Martin Indic,
and they just insisted and insisted.
And now I don't have any information that implicates the Israelis in this.
I think it was simply the Kuwaitis
who embellished this whiskey smuggling ring
into a fake truck bomb assassinated.
plot against George Bush Sr.
in the spring of 1993
in Kuwait. And it was a bunch of crap.
Everyone believes it to this day for
some stupid reason. I don't know why anyone
would presume that that's just true.
They've just never heard it contradicted before, I guess.
It was total bullshit.
But under that fake
excuse, Clinton bombed Baghdad
and officially adopted the
dual containment policy that the Israelis
had been badgering him to
implement. And so even that,
I'm not denying the agency
of the face-biting rapist, child killer, mass murderer,
Bill Clinton's psychopathic scum.
I'm just saying he did what he did
because the Israelis badgered him into doing it.
And it was a central part of where that policy came from
and how it came to be implemented.
And then therefore, in turning,
America's bin Ladenite terrorist mercenaries
against the American people.
You know what's crazy is a lot of,
there's a lot of people out there who,
I mean, they probably wouldn't cop to this,
but like their mindset is when something like this happens,
you know, the Ron Paul mindset,
the Scott Horton, Daryl Cooper mindset is, wow,
like this thing that we've been doing
just resulted in a bunch of Americans getting killed.
And the guy who did it, shouldn't have done it,
X, Y, Z, whatever, fine.
But like, the fact is, we did a thing
and now a bunch of Americans are dead.
And for us, that means we should probably take a look
that thing we're doing and really like evaluate if this is worth like potentially having
Americans get killed over like we should think about this a lot of people they don't think about it
like that they something like this happens and they see see that just shows you people who these
people who care about this issue about Gaza or whatever it is so much they're willing to do this
it just shows you how crazy they are we can't like be cowed by that this is just more reason to
kill them I really do kind of like think of it that way blowback reinforces their commitment to
it in this ridiculous way.
Yeah, that's how I, you know,
because I just finished rereading Fools Aaron
for the first time in many years here.
That was the way I tried to explain it in the beginning there,
that, okay, from the point of view of like a rational guy, right?
Say, you know, your Navy veteran friend.
They're like, okay, fine.
When we fight back against terrorists
and there's some collateral damage
and that risks generating more enemies,
okay, but,
But what are we supposed to do?
Not defend ourselves?
That makes no sense.
The thing is, is no, because America started it.
So that doesn't justify what they're doing.
It's hardly self-defense to knock down office towers full of civilians, right?
Like, nobody thinks that.
But the point is that it's American intervention that generates this entire thing.
From when our government supports these guys to when we go to war against them,
to then when we support them again, and we support their dictators that jail them,
and torture them, and then we set them free and set them loose against some Serbs or some Shiites
or whatever. The whole thing is a recipe for getting Americans killed. The whole thing is nuts,
and that's the beginning and the end of it. I mean, the stuff in Provote, you know how I am with the
citations. The reason I'm like that with the citations is because I just am afraid that even you
won't believe me, Darrell, when I tell you that Bill Clinton's working with the Ayatollah in Iran,
the Ayatollah Communee, the guy that Trump just killed, that guy.
Bill Clinton's working with him to arm Osama bin Laden in Bosnia.
And the Republicans are saying, why don't we just use the Saudis?
Why are we using Iran when we should be using the trusty, good old al-Qaeda pipeline from before
with the Pakistanis and the Brits?
why would we let the Iranian scum that the Israelis hate
suck up to us by arming Osama?
And it's just like, dude, you wouldn't believe me if I didn't prove it to you.
You know what I mean? It's in there.
Yeah, and I mean, look.
You something funny, Daryl? I'll show you something funny.
That night, that Windows screwed me.
It wasn't my fault.
It was Windows Update that ruined my audio input, everybody.
I showed everybody this book, but nobody knew what the hell I was saying.
this is the congressional investigation
into the Republicans
under Chris Cox
and the House Reform Committee
were mad that Bill Clinton used Iran
to arm Osama bin Laden in Bosnia
when they should have used the Saudis
and that's the Republicans in the 1990s
and that's the book.
It's my one big official leather book
on my shelf is this congressional investigation.
And I always felt really bad
that that horrible right wing, Warhawk,
not even right wing, but just goofball, Warhawk, Ben Ferguson on the Pierce Morgan show.
He goes, you say Iran never backed Al-Qaeda.
And I was like, no, that's absurd, dude.
Cata kills Iranians and stuff.
And I was like, oh, man, I really owe that guy an apology.
Because what I should have said was, well, yeah, that one time sucking up to Bill Clinton, they did.
Arming him and killing Serbs in Basia.
You know, like, look, this is not the day to be saying.
something like this with 9-11, you know, coming up tomorrow and everything.
But I just, I'll try to be clear that, like, killing civilians is wrong.
It's always wrong.
If you do it on accident, it's collateral damage.
You should make restitution.
It's always wrong to target them.
It's evil.
Period.
You know, full stop.
But at the same time, when you go around the world using military force to,
you know, kill people to impose your will on countries that have no military recourse to hit you back.
They were doing these things.
We're not declaring war on Imperial Japan or anything like that.
We're going and hitting countries with just nonchalantly casually because they can't do anything.
Well, then some of those people are going to fight back in the only way that they can.
And, you know, it's, again, it's wrong to target office buildings full of civilians.
no doubt. But that's the means they have to fight back. Like, what are they going to do? Like,
you know, go attack Fort Hood. I mean, it's just, this is what happens. It's just what you,
it's, it's, it's what's going to happen if, uh, you go around the world behaving like this.
And it doesn't, you know, again, it doesn't justify, uh, the people who do it. But from,
but, but this is something that like, uh, you know, I got into this argument a million times before I
finally realized it was completely pointless after October 7.
She's like, you know, the, there's a, there's, there's, there's a difference between saying,
you know, A is going to lead to B, it's going to predictably lead to B, and saying that B is
justified and those people are the good guys or, or.
You know, is, it's a reason.
It's not an excuse.
Well, but it's also that, you know, like people with like, like, like the refrain, right?
I never hear you condemning Hamas.
It's like, well, because, like, I don't have anything to do with Hamas.
Like, Hamas is, my government's not funding them.
My politicians are not autographing their bombs.
Like, Hamas, they're, they got enough problems without me, like, telling them that they're
really, really bad, you know, in my, in my tweets or something like that.
What I'm concerned with is, what is my government doing?
Where are my tax dollars?
What are they funding?
You know, what are the people who have the power of life and death over me have the power of throwing me in a cage for life if they decide like they need to?
What are those people doing in my name?
And, you know, like, so look, people overseas, they're going to have, they're going to do immoral things.
They're going to do things like hit towers in New York and that's bad and I wish they wouldn't do that.
But they don't care what I think.
They're not interested in my opinion on that or anything like that.
Like, and I don't particularly care about like issuing moral condemnations of what they're doing.
Like they're, they're not my people.
You know, my people here in America, and this is, this is my country.
And I'm concerned about what the people who are making decisions in my name are bringing upon us.
And that doesn't, you know, like, that's all we should really be concerned with.
You know, in my, because that's what we have, at least theoretically.
Yeah, I know it's segue, dip shit.
Shut up.
Like theoretically
That guy made me
That douchebag made me lose my train of thought
Of course I know it's Segway
I was making a joke
Segui
Listen speaking of Hamas and things like that
Oh Netanyahu's in trouble now
Mr. Cooper you see this
Netanyahu got an explicit warning
From Mohammed bin Zayed
The ruler of Abu Dhabi
And therefore the United Arab Emirates
and this is a real in-depth piece that came out in Haaretz.
For people who need a very short link,
it's just archive.bn slash capital Z, 4L, capital X,
lowercase X.
That's pretty good.
Rewind it if you missed that.
Pretty easy to type in there.
And so it's an in-depth thing,
and it has multiple warnings.
It has Netanyahu.
you know, being briefed by the shin bet
about a warning that they got,
but not telling them that, you know,
I got a warning too.
And he,
here's the plausible deniability in there,
okay, Cooper?
It says, well, I think something's going to have,
he says, I think something's going to happen
in the West Bank.
So I'm not paying attention to your warning
about what's going to happen in Gaza.
But they have,
Hania, I guess is how you say it,
the leader of Hamas,
explicitly threatening a so-called earthquake.
I forgot how you said and, you know, their language and whatever.
The translation was earthquake and warning, essentially, that just as we had said,
had surmised, right, that the October 7th attack was a reaction against the threat that Saudi Arabia
was going to follow through on that Abraham Accord and finish selling out the Palestinian people.
and they had to re-controversialize the issue by doing this.
And then another part of it is, dude, that the leader of Qatar, I believe it is,
told them that if you don't let these hostages all go right now,
I'm going to kick your asses all out of Qatar.
You're going to have to go back to Gaza and face the bombs with everybody else.
And that they were ready to obey.
But then Netanyahu refused to talk to them.
So then they called Anthony Blinken,
Anthony Blinken, and said,
Anthony Blinken, it's an emergency.
We got them right now under major pressure
to let the hostages go,
which may or may not include
military POWs,
but the civilian hostages at least.
But we got to do it right now,
but we can't get the Israelis to answer,
and Anthony Blinkin says,
we'll give them three days.
We're going to take three days,
and I'll be there in three days,
and we'll do it in three days.
And they go, no, no, no, we got to do it now.
and then they didn't.
That was the first time that they ruined the potential hostage deal right there.
But anyway, the long and the short of it is,
as many have long suspected that there's even more reason to suspect,
a deliberate blind eye here,
or at least at the very least,
it colors in a lot of the lines as far as the story of the absolute criminal negligence
of the leader of Israel's security forces, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Unlike George W. Bush, who had only been in office for nine months,
I don't know how you could expect him to do his job.
Only nine months on the job as leader of the security force.
But Benjamin Netanyahu's been in power again since 2009.
And for that to be able to happen on his watch,
he was interrupted for a very short period in there.
But, you know, Bennett and Yer Lapid and whatever.
But he's in there essentially the whole time.
Longest serving prime minister in Israeli history,
and for years uninterrupted in the lead-up to
the strike. And you can see even
the quotes in here about
Gaza. I forgot the exact quote. He doesn't say the height of the
flame thing, but he essentially says,
I've got Gaza handled. And you can
just see the arrogance there. So like, I'm not sure if this really
contributes to like, you know, proving that he
let it happen on purpose. But man, you can
see a lot of places where
it sure was kind of better for him.
The kind of worse it got,
it shut down all the protests over him trying
to pack the court or rig the
the court.
I need to study up on this.
I forgot the details.
I used to actually know the details
of what he was trying to do with the court.
And I forget, I keep saying it wrong now.
I need to go back and restudy that.
But anyway, there are massive protests,
as you remember,
is he was trying to, I guess,
limit the court's ability to rule on things
like the settlers and whatever else.
And so he was able to quell all that.
He was able to keep himself in power,
keep his trial on indefinite hiatus.
And, you know, the worst,
the war, the better for him.
And so, I mean, that's been apparent this whole time.
We've talked about it this whole time.
Yeah, that's sort of the, like, his own personal requirements at that time based on anything
it was going on is the one, is really the reason that I've been open to some of the more
maximalist conspiracy theories on this, is that on one hand, you know, just if you're looking
at it from Israel's standpoint, forget net Yahoo, but the standpoint of the state of
of Israel, everything was kind of going their way with the Abraham Accords and nobody was really
thinking much about Palestinian issue. They were doing what they want, colonizing the West Bank.
Gaza was kind of just under wraps. And all the Arab states, you know, with dollar signs
in their eyes and everything, we're starting to come around. Like, you know, they were working
their way there. And this blew all that up and made it, you know, just sort of at least set it back.
I mean, we'll see where things go.
Let me just say theoretically here real quick
that he had two weeks before he had given
his big speech at the UN bragging
that I win you lose. Screw you Palestinians.
You get nine.
Right.
That was his big triumphant speech there.
And now on the other hand,
you know, his own personal interests
or something, you know, needed to happen.
I mean, like, now I could, I could imagine,
like my sort of baseline,
like if we're going to go to the conspiracy theory side,
did they let this happen?
is that they didn't think it was going to be this bad.
You know, they thought that they would, you know, they'd break out and then they'd go shoot
them down and, you know, that would be that.
But it was bigger.
But I mean, I don't know, man.
Like, I will say, like, I get it.
Maybe Netanyahu had, you know, Israeli intelligence just hyper-focused on the West Bank
and they got arrogant thinking they had the Gosson's all rap.
Dude, there is just no way.
I mean, you're talking about an intelligence system over in Israel.
an intelligence establishment
that apparently had the traffic cameras
in Tehran all hacked
and they were able to trace
where different government
and military officials
were going at different times
in the day so they could take them out
and you're going to tell me
that this place,
that they've been doing absolutely nothing
but building up
an embedded surveillance system
for you, you go to God,
like, I've never been in Gaza
but I've been down near the border
and there's just drones everywhere.
I mean, they're just flying around
listening to everything,
monitoring everything, watching everything.
They've got human intelligence sources all over the place in there
because not everybody likes Hamas.
And you're telling me that they missed an operation of that scale
is just extremely hard to believe.
I mean, it's just, and obviously it wasn't being completely, like,
kept under wraps.
You know, Muhammad bin Zayed knew about it.
To be fair, even, you know, to the official story,
was that the warnings weren't getting.
getting up the chain because nobody wants to give the boss bad news.
Netanyahu says he controls the height of the flame.
He has everything under control.
Every time you tell him that something is being prepared,
you're telling him that he's wrong and you're risking your entire career saying,
listen, your game is up.
Remember in Star Wars episode one?
He was like, oh, your game is up.
And then the emperor is like, get this guy out of my second.
You know, look, it could have been a situation where,
that version of the story is a lot easier to believe
after a couple years of the second Trump administration.
And I don't know, I don't really know anything about, you know,
most of, like, you know, I don't know the guy who,
whoever's in charge of the Mossad right now.
Like, I don't know what kind of guy he is in his relationship to Netanyahu.
Maybe he's a Pete Hegsef type who's just a guy who's in there
because he does what the boss says and make sure everybody in his agency does what the boss says
and tells him what he wants to hear.
And that's that.
Like, you know, that could be the case.
You know, Netanyahu have just been around so long
and sort of, you know, being sort of under siege on all sides
from the, you know, different areas of the Israeli political establishment
that he's just surrounded himself with a bunch of yes men.
And the boss doesn't want to hear about what's going on, Gaza.
He's interested in the West Bank.
And so, I mean, it's all possible.
the thing is like program you know just one example is the female border guards who we know we're passing intelligence up saying hey we're seeing them doing mock you know they're training they're clearly preparing to do something here and then just from like the anecdotal stuff those warnings weren't getting very far up the chain at all because it's just like whatever whatever whatever whatever just the office politics of
government security forces.
I mean, it's a socialist program,
dude, all the incentives are wrong.
So, you know, I don't know.
Like, I never heard anyone,
any of the anecdotes where they said,
my God, you know,
when I think back about how explicit our warnings were
and how high up the chain,
we know they got,
we, there must have been something,
you know what I mean?
Like, I don't know.
The thing is, like, that's,
that's believable when you talk about something
like 9-11, you know?
Like, we got chatter about this
and some other countries are warning us about
a few guys who were going to
hijack some airplanes and, like, do this.
Like,
but you're talking about thousands of people involved with this.
I mean, you're talking about
equipment being staged for thousands
of people to, like, break out
across that border by land, sea, and air
had to have taken months, if not
longer, to plan out.
And it's just,
I mean, look, yeah,
look, government agencies are stupid,
and Israel's agencies
seem to be getting stupider over the years.
And so it's certainly possible that they're just a can.
I don't think this kind of mistake would have happened in 1985.
Israel, I think their institutions were just much smarter
in terms of, or at least much more pragmatic and realistic, you know?
And I don't think there was any, like after Ben Gurion,
I don't think there was any prime minister until Netanyahu,
who really had enough of his own sort of, you know,
small little cult of personality
that the military establishment and intelligence establishment
that he could just boss them around and overrule him
and tell him what to do, you know?
A lot of the times, even like his predecessor,
guys like Began, Shamir, like, Suron, maybe a little bit,
but, like, you know, those guys kind of got told
what to do by the military establishment and Assad most of the time.
And so, I don't know.
Go ahead, go ahead.
This is like the kind of problem that you're supposed to avoid with the parliamentary system.
You know, with a president, it's just this guy who has all of these like enumerated powers
and everybody under him works for him and is an employee who works at his pleasure.
A prime minister has a cabinet.
There are a bunch of other players in their own right whose support he needs for his coalition to hold together.
And theoretically, they're supposed to have their own base.
of power and be able to operate sort of
independently and like, you know,
not independently, but like,
you know, exercise power in their
own right and avoid some of that.
But, you know, Netanyahu is kind of a,
you know, he is sort of like much more like the U.S.
president in that sense, I guess, maybe.
Yeah, I think that's right.
You know, he's very much a pyramid-shaped
kind of office holder up there. You know what I mean?
Rather than a wheel and spoke guy or whatever
the way they call it. But, you know, one thing,
is, and I'm sorry, I don't know who to credit for this, dude. This just came out where somebody has
the video of the defense minister ordering the mass Hannibal attack on their own people.
Now, so as far as I understand it, the Hannibal directive was a standing order that could
be applied that said if Hamas is kidnapping a soldier and taking them back into Gaza, then that
they would blast him her, I guess, if Hezbollah was kidnapping someone and taking them into
Lebanon, they'd kill their own guy, their conscript soldier, along with the kidnappers in order
to not be put in a blackmailable position, like what had happened previously.
And so, as far as I understand, there is never, it had never been invented before they just came
up with this on the fly, Mass Hannibal.
But now it doesn't matter that we're not even talking about conscript soldiers in all of green.
now we're talking about little old ladies from the kibbutz,
and they blasted them too with helicopters.
And we know they did.
I mean, Israeli media published the video footage of this stuff.
Wynette did the big special on the helicopter stuff.
And you can see from the damage to a lot of the cars,
seems like they didn't have bodies in them,
but like the helicopters went in and strapped all the cars at the rave after the fact anyway,
but just goes to show what was going on there.
Sort of, at least it's an indication of part of what
was going on there. And I don't know what the total is. We also know that there was a tank that
fired, at least one tank that fired on the kibbutz's. And in one of the stories, there was
some Hamas, you know, kidnappers and hostages in a house. And one of the victims convinced one of
the kidnappers, come with me, let's sneak out the back door and surrender now and get out of this.
And he, like, took the opportunity and did it. And they made him strip naked and called
them both forward. They came forward. And then she told them, there are nine people in the house
and they're being held captive by Hamas in that house. So confirmed, Hamas in that house,
blast them. And they blasted the house knowing that there was a family full of hostages in there.
And that's just like, I mean, they told the story on camera. You see the whole thing. They talked
about it. And so there's some stories like that. And then what they do, though? Because some of these
bodies were then charred beyond recognition or blown apart because of these high velocity explosives
and high caliber munitions and things that the Israelis are using,
they had to come up with all these elaborate stories
about what happened to these corpses.
So now it was Hamas, you know, tied them all up
and then set them on, douse them and gasoline
and set them on fire and danced around them
and then raped all their teenagers
and cut the heads off the babies
and then they just embellished this insane story
of Hamas violence far beyond what was true.
And they did kill civilians there.
I don't mind condemning them for it.
I mean, for their own sake, what idiots they are.
blasting a bunch of unarmed women
while they're sitting there, you know,
playing the role of victims.
They are doing a very poor job of it.
They could have driven right past that rave
and right past those cabooses
and gone straight to the military bases only
and made a point of going to the military bases only
and fighting combatant on combatant,
Mano and all of that.
Instead, they butchered so many innocent people
that never even mind the embellishments.
They served as the excuse for Netanyahu
to do what he did.
It took a little bit of embellishment, but still, even after most of those lies were debunk,
they were able to go on for a couple of years.
And so, you know, if LeHop is an option, why not MiHop?
Why not Netanyahu hired Hamas and had his spies inside Hamas do this just so he could play the victim?
That's what servants of Zionism they turned out to be in the same way that all these people
assume that bin Laden and his men were just working for the CIA.
all along because America needed something bad like that to happen so they could do their dirty work,
right?
Yeah, I mean, for sure, I get that argument.
I mean, I assume that if we were, you know, if we had a third panel up here and it was,
you know, some Amos leader who could, it was involved in the decision making, you know,
they would just say, okay, and then what?
Like, you'd have sympathy for us?
Like, that's doing us a lot of good.
Like, you know, like, like, it's just, you know, like the idea that that Israel needed an excuse to be able to do something like this, like maybe to do it all at once, but they were doing it slower, you know, regardless.
They're colonizing the West Bank every day.
They're squeezing and strangling the people of Gaza every day.
And look, I mean, the world was watching with the Abraham Accords, like the world was watching as the air.
Arab countries were moving on from this.
And they were looking for a way to get away with it without getting lynched by their own people.
They all wanted to do with the people in charge of those countries, except for Iran and Yemen.
And like, you know, if you are a Palestinian, especially in Gaza with the way they were under siege, you know, I think what they needed was we got to tip the board over.
We got to just shake things up so badly that it resized.
the game because the way things are heading right now,
this thing's going to be,
we're not going to have any ground to stand on,
you know,
and fight from in the future.
That's in the article,
by the way, too.
That absolutely was the motive,
was to disrupt,
just as we had surmars,
to disrupt the Abraham Accords
and Saudi Arabia going along with that
in their ultimate sell out there.
So,
all right,
now look, we're over an hour,
so let me say real quick,
man, if you people need a tax lawyer
to get you all prepared
and set up so that you pay as little
taxes as you possibly can't.
Say you run a small business or you're a high salary
professional. Matt Sersley, he's a really
good guy and a really smart guy
and he will make sure that you don't
pay one red cent more
than you absolutely have to
to the IRS revenues.
So check them out at agoristtaxadvice.com.
That's agoristtaxadvice.com.
And I don't know if it's slash scott or slash
provoke. Yeah, probably slash provoked.
Let them know that me and Darrell sent you.
And then I just want to name a couple of headlines here real quick,
and then we can go to questions, man.
But I just wanted to show this real quick.
I meant to bring this up when I was talking about Oklahoma earlier,
but I spaced out because I forgot.
Aha, look, our 10th anniversary at the Libertarian Institute.
It was 10 years ago this month that me and Will Grigg and Sheldon Richmond founded this thing.
It was mostly just an excuse for me to try to pay Will Griggs some money.
And I didn't have any, so it's like, oh, yeah, I know.
we'll just make you and me the Institute,
and then we can raise money, and I can give you it.
And then we're like, oh, yeah, and then we'll get Sheldon,
and then that'll be great.
And then so that was us, and that was where it started.
And that was 10 years ago.
And so for rich people watching this, we need your money.
So you should help support the Institute,
libertarian institute.
Orr slash donate.
But more importantly, look at this great article by Richard Booth,
the guy that curated the Libertarian Institute,
Oklahoma City bombing archive at libertarian institute.
org slash OKC.
Well, here's a new article by Richard,
which I don't have time to go into,
but I'll just show it to you.
is on the site right now.
Three men in a bar,
planning the largest domestic terrorist attack in U.S. history.
And this is about Timothy McVeigh,
Andrescia, and Michael Brescia,
who some suspect is John Doe number two.
And many people have long suspected that.
And so there you go.
That is the great Richard Booth.
And what happened was these guys went to a strip club near Tulsa,
but the strippers had been fighting a lot in the dressing room,
and so the owner of the strip club had put a camera
in a microphone in the dressing room to stop the girls from fighting.
And so he's got them on tape going, boy, those guys are weird.
That guy said that, boy, you're going to remember me on April the 19th.
And that other guy, he sure is German and talks funny and whatever.
Oh, yeah, there you go, dude.
Mystery solved, everybody.
And then so, yeah, and the great Richard Booth,
He is the best of the Oklahoma bombing guys, not the doers of it, the truth tellers about it.
And then also I just want to show you real quick.
This is Global 21, which is, she's this Brazilian lady that I follow, whose name escapes me all of a sudden.
But anyway, she's really smart.
I don't know, she must be a former military intelligence person or something, I guess.
But she just has, you know, outstanding takes on what's going on in the Gulf all the time.
And so sonar 21, that's Larry Johnson.
Global 21, that's a good old what's her name, the Brazilian lady who's really smart.
And so this is about the escalation going on in the Gulf.
This one is Wall Street Journal here.
Trump's top advisors confront possibility that the Iran war lasts through the end of his term, Darrell.
Just like George W. Bush punting the Iraq war to, well, I guess other presidents will have to figure that out.
And just like he and Obama punting the Afghan war to Trump, Trump's now.
going to punt this thing to President AOC.
I guess it'll be if this war continues through then.
God help us.
So there's that.
And then there's this.
Another one, the Washington Post was the big one.
But this is CNN following up.
And I know CNN, what are you going to do?
But this is who the government is talking to.
Military and intelligence officials discuss smaller presence in the Middle East as
U.S. looks for another post-9-11 strategy.
David Petraeus, America's least qualified general,
McClellan probably gave an interview the other day where he correctly said that our bases are no longer viable.
Well, we'll have to move further west since our bases in the Gulf are no longer viable.
Yeah, okay, good take.
This is the guy who conspired with Dick Cheney to try to lie us into war with Iran back in 2007.
It must just feel really great that this was not his fault this time.
And then anyway, what did I not show you here yet?
Here's some books that I've published at the Institute.
here's my substack where you can get all of my
shows a day early. Here's a great one I did with Elizabeth Lane.
She's Georgian, and we talked all about the Rose Revolution
and everything before and after that. Here's Marta-made substack
where you can sign up for his great podcast.
He's got Part 3 of Enemy, telling the story of World War II
from the Germans pointed to you.
Part 3 coming out. Very soon, he promises.
We won't be precise with a day,
because I know how these things are, but very soon it's coming.
And then, oh, here's the Scott Horton Academy,
and you might want to look into Scott Horton Academy,
but if you want a free taste of what the Scott Horton Academy is like,
what you do is you go to the facts about Iran.com,
deep backs about Iran.com,
and I give you good deep old dives into the background of America's Iran policy
going way, way back there, and you can see if you like it
and maybe want to sign up for the rest of the Scott Horton Academy
of Foreign Policy and Freedom.
And with that, I will turn the questions and answers over to you,
Mr. Cooper.
Yeah, we didn't even have time to get to the escalation really in Iran or what the
Houthis are doing.
But I think maybe the Houthi one especially, that's probably a good thing because a lot
of stuff is kind of unclear right now.
Hundreds of hostages being taken by Houthi forces too.
There's just like mass surrenders of the Saudi proxy forces.
I mean, they've been driven down the coast to this, you know, to one last stronghold they've
got down there.
I mean, the Houthis are taking islands in the straight down there, which is crazy.
I mean, it's really wild that, you know, these people who, I mean, for years, when we were helping the Saudis and the Emirates exterminate them, I mean, hundreds of thousands of people killed.
They were starved to death.
They were, I mean, it was like, they were getting just absolutely hammered.
And they look stronger than ever, man.
Like, these people are no joke.
And the Saudis, I mean, look, back in the war before,
I don't know. I think the official line was that we were just off, you know, we were providing a little support like with a naval blockade and, you know, maybe some intelligence. We were doing what we were doing in Ukraine, basically. We were doing everything but providing their foot soldiers, you know, when they were in their fighting. And they were still getting ham. They were, they still couldn't handle the Houthis. Now we're not in any position to be able to do that anymore. Like a lot of the bases that we use for intelligence gathering stuff don't exist.
I don't exist, but they're not usable for that.
And the Saudis men, like, they kicked the Ornitz Nest again.
And like, it's going to be very interesting to see what happens.
I mean, people see it and they're like, oh, you know,
the possible consequences for Saudi Arabia are much greater than somebody is in charge in Yemen that they don't like.
Things can get really out of hand for them, like really foul.
Because those guys can't fight.
they're like, they can't do their own close air support.
Like, I guarantee you, even right now,
we've got a bunch of advisors over there doing all their close air support coordination
form, all that kind of stuff.
They can't do any of that.
They got pilots that can fly bombers and drop bombs on things.
But as far as, you know, coordination between their, they can't do any of that.
Like, they're just, they don't have that kind of a military.
At least in some Middle Eastern countries, you know, like Assad, Syria,
Saddam's Iraq.
They had some,
they had effective air forces,
you know, old equipment,
but effective pilots,
they had some effective special forces
and crack units and stuff
because they had a lot of,
you know, a lot of minorities,
like a lot of Christians
were pilots and Saddam's,
you know, a force for a long time.
In Saudi Arabia, dude,
you've got a large population of people
who don't work for a living.
They're not looking to go,
you know, they're just not a society that produces.
Like, it's not a martial culture in the sense that, you know, is going to work in the modern age.
And the Houthis are.
And they just, they don't have any, they don't have an army that can stand up to the Houthis.
And we're certainly not going to provide one right now.
It's, anyway, yeah, we should talk about that next week because it, there, I don't know if you saw the news here in the last, like, maybe half a day or so.
if people aren't watching this live,
this will be confirmed or not,
probably by the time you do see it.
But it looks like from a lot of satellite photos
and analysis at the Houthis hit several points
on that east or west pipeline
that takes a lot of that Saudi Gulf oil down
so it can get out through the Red Sea.
And if that happened,
and the oil markets are reacting right now like it did,
at least the last I checked before the show,
man, you know,
I mean, it was just a lot.
to that. Like A, the energy markets and all those kind of things, but also it just shows a level
of sophistication and targeting and stuff that the...
Oh, like, yeah. Remember how the last war ended? The last war ended, because the Houthis
kept reaching out and touch in Saudi refineries wherever they felt like, with drones and with missiles.
And finally, somebody in a white robe came to MBS and told him enough of this, dude, you're
going to the table right now. It was the only way that they could stop it. And you put it very
well there, I forgot exactly how you said it, but about essentially the Saudis have everything
to lose. The Houthis don't have anything to lose. Saudi and UAE with Barack Obama and Donald
Trump's help already bombed everything of value that they had before. So they can withstand
an aerial assault or whatever. They already lost anything crucial. Anything that they need, obviously
like their missile forces or whatever, they can hide undercover. And so, you know, unless you send in
really the Marines to Sana'a, they're not going anywhere, dude.
And they're going to win this war against Saudi Arabia, the exact same war they already did,
the exact same way that you just said, whether that report is true or not, or whether it takes
until next Tuesday, they're going to be able to hit whatever refineries in Saudi they need
to to make the Saudis cry uncle.
I saw a headline that said, the Pakistanis are considering intervening against the Houthis.
Oh, yeah, to what end?
To try to suck up to the Saudis?
Why do they need them that bad?
They did this accord between Saudi, Turkey, and Pakistan,
and then the next day Iran bombed Saudi.
And they're like, oh, yeah, what?
And then Pakistan and Turkey did absolutely nothing.
Oh, yeah, well, then we'll threaten the Houthis some more, right?
I don't know.
And then the next day or a few days later,
the Saudis asked the Iranians to join the pact.
So it just goes to show that they know they don't have any cards to play versus Iran.
and they don't versus the Houthis either.
And the Houthis can kind of crazy to me
that they let this start up again.
Like, they started it.
They're the ones who kicked the Hornets nest.
It's not that like this happened out of nowhere.
Yeah, look, I keep quoting J.D. Vance on the Rogan show,
saying that, Joe, you and your five friends could close the straight-of-horo moves with an RPG.
And I saw some guy attacking me here, a couple people saying how stupid I am for saying that.
But, dude, first of all, it's.
It's just a figure of speech, bro.
And second of all, I said I was quoting the vice president of the United States talking to Rogan.
And it's just a figure of speech, man.
What he was trying to say was, and in fact, that's bordering on literally true.
Because, yeah, an RPG doesn't have that much range and whatever.
But if there are uncontrollable people firing RPGs into the straight, that's a huge problem, right?
Even just a bazooka.
Even just a shoulder-fired RPG is enough that that's going to be.
going to mess with insurance rates. That's going to be a problem. Same thing for the Red Sea.
And the gates of the bad al-Mandep. I don't always say that backwards. Anyway,
and then the only solution then is a negotiated solution where everybody agrees that
no man with any form of missile is going to intervene with shipping through here. But that can only
be guaranteed by the monopoly security force in Tehran and the monopoly security.
security force in Sana'a.
And by the way, this is stupid,
and you can interrupt me and tell me to shut up if you want,
but this still annoys the crap out of me,
that the Houthis,
Ansar Allah is the name of their group,
they seized power at the end of 2014.
Okay?
Those Houthi rebels?
Rebels.
And then they call the Saudi-backed militias out in the desert
who rule no one, the government.
Yeah.
And meanwhile, the sock puppet president who was living in a hotel in Riyadh for years is dead.
Mansur Hadi is dead.
Now they have some council that was appointed by Saudi Arabia.
And I'm going to call that the government.
And it's supposed to call the Houthis rebels.
Yeah, it makes about as much sense as the government of Taiwan still insisting they have a legitimate government of China.
Yeah, exactly.
So stupid.
Yeah.
And it's like a cult-like thing where they're like demanding that you,
indulge in believing the wrong thing with them.
You don't know what I mean? Like Russia Gate.
Like, look, we're all Russia Gate believers here so that you know which team you're on.
And in fact, the fact of what BS it is, well, that's the symbol of your loyalty that you're still
committed to it anyway.
Welcome to the club.
You know what I mean?
That's kind of how it is.
Let's get to these questions because the first one is really going to be a question that's
wrapping up a whole bunch of questions that a lot of people, or is going to wrap up a
question that a lot of people probably want to ask Scott Horton today, which is while you're such
an establishment shill on the 9-11 question, well, there's a reason we did not cover that today.
Why don't you tell them what it is?
Yeah, so that's funny.
That's totally wrong.
Now, so what it is, is on Monday, I'm going to do a all-damned afternoon as long as it
takes podcast with Ryan Dawson and give him a chance to convince me of his version of this.
and I like him because he shares my absolute disdain
for these absolute idiot theories about September 11th
that do not hold up at all.
Now, he's got his own,
and he's got a new four-hour-long documentary about it.
In fact, I have it here.
It's called Empire Unmased Redux.
And I've seen, I've known Ryan Dawson for 20 years,
and I've seen various versions of his 9-11 documentary over the years,
and this is by far the best one.
I watched it a few months ago,
and my actual kind of daydream about it was I wanted it
wait until he was in America
or plan to bring him here
and just spend an afternoon going over it
like in person. Then I just decided out what the
hell would just do it. You know, when he's back in Korea,
we're going to do it tomorrow, but he's out of town.
So he's going to be back in Korea and we're going to do
it on Monday. And then
we're just going to start with
probably debunking
the sillier stuff because he's
really good at that.
And then, you know,
everybody knows his theory is that the Israelis
did it. My theory is that,
Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the Saudi ambassador did it.
Although I still have a whole lot of questions as to the exact degree of his culpability
and his motivations for the things that he was doing.
But anyway, there's a lot to it.
So me and Dawson are going to go over all of that then.
And where are people going to be able to check that out?
Oh, I don't know.
I'm sure it's going to take my guy a few days to get it all edited and posted and whatever.
like the Scott Orton show?
Yeah, it would be on the Scott Orton show.
And then look, on the basic level, dude,
like this truth or stuff is a real idiot problem.
Because even if you want to take like the thing
where the Saudi government really helped them do it on purpose,
even because Dick Cheney told them to or whatever you want to believe in,
the Israelis help them do it or whatever it is that you want,
but still Al Qaeda that had been at war with the United States
since at least 1992 and had killed hundreds of Americans
and had attempted to kill many more than that.
that in the decade previous to September 11. And their motive and their, their strategy for using
these attacks to lure America into, again, quote unquote, overreacting, exploiting the crisis,
to invade Afghanistan in order to bankrupt us, to replicate the American-backed Mujahideen
war against the Soviet Union in the 1980s. That was what it was all about. And so,
So, you know, when people get all obsessed with these idiot theories about, you know, Donald Rumsfeld shot a missile at the Pentagon while he was sitting in the son of a bitch, then they're completely missing the fact that the guys who kamikazied the Pentagon in a plane full of civilians, they were Saudi intelligence assets.
And their group that sent them was motivated by America's occupation of Saudi Arabia and support for Israel killing little babies in Palestine and Lebanon.
Just like in my article here about the Bourbon Street attack,
all of these terrorist attacks are motivated by Israeli crimes.
When everybody's chasing their tail over all this ridiculous, just BS,
and if you know the origin of all of these stories,
and you just forget it, it's completely stupid.
They never really seem to attack Israel, though.
Well, no, that's true, in fact.
You can get, you say you got a californ.
in, you know, the middle of the Syria, Iraq desert.
And you apparently have tens of thousands of Muslim dudes ready to fight to come from all over the world to be a part of that.
When it's time to go take down Assad, they come from every corner of the globe, apparently.
But Israel just completely wipes Gaza off the map.
And, yeah, where'd they go?
Where'd all those hardcore, revoted Muslim men, you know, fighters from all over the world?
seem to have disappeared. Isn't that funny?
No, they're right there in charge of Syria.
They rule Syria right now, and they're obviously
very grateful for Israel's support.
And, you know, the doctrine of the Islamic State under
Sarkawi and after was always, you know,
to kill the Shiites first.
And I think you will end up, see, I mean,
look, Shirah or Jolani apparently
has been tamed, but
that ain't going to last.
And I don't think that there's any
question. I mean, you can say that in a joking way, but I don't think there's any question
whatsoever that Al-Qaeda was motivated by Israeli war crimes all throughout the 1990s.
As the hideckers were, that bin Laden was that their entire propaganda was based around that.
And in all of his interviews, he went on and on and on about it. And there's, what,
seven interviews or something that he did before September 11th with John Miller and Peter Arnett
and Abdel Bariatwan and what's his name, Hamdi, the Pakistani guy. And, you know, there's a bunch
interviews where he talks all about this stuff.
And so,
but yes, it's true that America, Turkey,
and Israel supported almost
in Syria in the Obama years.
And that even when they took over Syria
at the end of 24, Netanyahu
raced up to the border and took credit
for it. You can read it in the times of Israel.
He sat there, so did resaparawan
in Turkey, and so did Joe Biden.
Like, yeah, we all
rush to claim and share credit for
helping al-Qaeda overthrow the
botists. But as long as
are killing Shiites or Serbs or Russians, you know,
then they get their rewards.
But, I mean,
if the implication is there that the Israelis
were running them all that time,
I don't see any evidence of that.
It was the Americans and the Brits and the Saudis
who were running them all that time.
Oh, yeah, but it does just seem like they can be
kind of turned on and turned off at will, you know?
Just like in America, you know,
you got these like a, like this hardcore left-wing underground
that's ready to just,
spark the revolution at the drop of a hat that seems to need like their group chat from a Democrat
NGO to tell them when they're allowed to go or not. I'm not sure that's a direct parallel.
But I will tell you that, you know, and look, whatever, as long as we're talking about this,
and you say they're asking in the chat room. There's this Edgar Allan Poe story. I always say
it was Sherlock Holmes, but that's because I'm stupid. I read this thing in high school and I was a
long time ago. But it's Edward Allen Poe story called the Perloin letter. And so I'd
guy stole a letter and it has, I don't know,
will in it or whatever, money or whatever it is.
And then the guy's getting away and he stashes the letter right where no one can find it.
On the counter, in a big pile of other mail.
And so they're looking everywhere.
They arrest the guy.
They can't find the letter.
They're looking everywhere for the letter.
Where the hell is the letter?
And eventually the letter is found right there on the counter in front of everybody.
Okay?
And that's, yeah.
So the purloin letter in the case of September 11th, everyone, duh,
is the 29 pages of the original congressional investigation that was censored for 23 years.
And that when you unblack it out and read it, it's all about how the Saudis did it.
The Saudi government did it.
But it's Prince Bandar bin Sultan and Prince Turkey al-Faisal.
And they're not bin Ladenites.
They're Bushites.
They're our guys.
So why would they do something like that?
well, let's waterboard Prince Bandar.
Instead, no, no, no, it's all about the Israelis put bombs
in every floor of three towers,
and Donald Rumsfeld shot a missile at the Pentagon
while he was sitting in the son of a bitch,
even though no one knows what happened to Flight 77,
it seems to be missing, along with Sarah Olson,
the Fox News commentator lady, and whatever, man.
And so everybody got so lost in all this BS
that they let the guilty go free.
That's all we had to do
was torture Bandar Bin Sultan
and tell him, squill!
Squill! And then see what he says!
And they did do it.
In the next week to hear Scott
go over this and more with
Ryan Dawson.
Here you go, that's right.
Scottwarden.org slash
interviews.
Dude, we're up to 90 minutes
and we have a whole bunch of other questions
to get to.
And so what I'm going to do...
What are you going to do?
We got to get going.
I don't want to like this.
respect people's questions by just giving them one word
answer. So I'm going to write all of these down
and I'll tell you what, next week,
let's cover the news real quick and then
let's have a question show.
We'll do that. We'll go through these ones.
We'll answer your questions next week because I
always feel bad when people take
the time to do it and we just don't have time to give
them what they deserve for answers.
And both.
Scott Routen Show coffee.
Yeah, it's like we're in a marathon, like a contest for
which of us can talk longer at any given
time. So that's a difficult way to do a show sometimes, especially for the audience trying to get in here.
But yeah, so here's the coffee. Scott Horton.org slash coffee. It's really good, man. And in fact,
I talked to my friend last night and he goes, you know, I ordered a coffee and it's really good.
And I'm like, what, you're surprised? I told you it was good. And he's like, no, it's really,
really good. I made a whatever, some kind of fancy thing that he made out of it and said it was really good.
And he's right, it is. It's Ethiopian and Sumatran. And it will blow that Colombian junkie been drinking
and right out of your coffee mug.
So go get you some.
It's Scott Horton.org slash coffee.
And I think that's all our ads we got to do, man.
Everybody goes sign up for Mr. Cooper's substack here,
Martyr Made podcast.
And I think I mentioned on my substack,
I don't know why everything's all weirded out here.
On my substack,
I will have the Trump chapter of Provoked the audiobook coming up very soon here.
So sign up there at Scott Horten.
and show.com.
And yeah, I guess that's it.
Thanks, too.
One comment I saw a few times.
I mentioned my email address last week
because somebody was trying to get a hold of me
and I got a whole bunch of emails
from people who saw that.
I see all of them.
I will put aside,
I'll try to put aside a day this weekend
to just go through and answer them all.
But I'm like literally taking a break
from consistent 12-hour sessions.
I've been pulling for the last few weeks
trying to get this next episode of Enemy done.
And I'm really close on that.
And so I'm just bearing down on that.
I will answer all of your emails soon, I promise.
Great.
And hey, man, you shouldn't write down all these chats.
Get screenshots.
Save yourself some labor there, you know?
That's a better idea.
I will do that.
See you guys next week.

You know the same way you can skip an ad?
I get it.
I'm Siyaya and I live in Ice Cove.
I've made some questionable decisions that didn't end up the way I planned.
And today I'm still figuring it out.
Somehow things usually get worse before they get better.
Apparently, that's how I roll.
