A video game review on a podcast? That doesn't make any sense. especially a podcast in the news and politics category. What the heck? This podcast also has zero video component. Yeah. Surely, surely I won't be showing lots of gameplay videos, right? Wrong.

Got half a dozen clips, mostly loud gunfire. How am I still so bad at my job? Unclear. Oh my God. But I seem to have failed upwards because I'm finally getting a video game review episode. There was only one condition. and that was that I had to review the Citizen Vigilante movie tie-in game La Mao. I like the idea, like, all the clips are just like an old crash bandicoot game or something.

He's just like, snuff that end. That would be better. That would be more fun for everybody instead of what's actually, what's actually going to happen. Yeah, I've been playing a lot of Balatro. So a nice, good, well-designed game. Cool, interesting. I'm sure this will be just the same. Probably like a lower budget.

Yeah. Yeah, somehow. Yeah, the only cards you're really playing in this game are the race cards, I guess. Oh, wow. That's the new Volacher expansion I haven't been playing. They had a couple. Yeah. I've seen you playing Bellatro online, Julian.

What's the, I have a couple other friends who are really into it. What's the, if you can give me the minute-long pinch, since this is a game episode, after all. It's like, uh, Bing, Bong, Ding, Ding, Poker. Yeah. It's like, you know, they say it's a mix of solitaire and poker, but it's really, there's a lot of, like, fun kind of, like, gambling adjacent elements to it, you know? A lot of, like, opening packs and things like that. Oh, okay. You never massacre a migrant family at all.

Well, you don't do that in this game either. Oh, well, that's untrue from the, that's one thing they did. They were like, fuck that. We can't. You can't do that one. Even they do the pillings. That's amazing. That means it's like the video game development.

was like, this film is so toxic and so fucked up that we can't represent most of it, even though that's kind of our approach. Like, we're recreating scenes. Yeah. Yeah, no, I call Balatro, personally, Philotro, because I keep going back to suck in that dick. But good game. Love it. Love Bellatro.

And I can't imagine the experience of playing this other game, Jake. So I'm really glad that you took that upon yourself. Yes. It was truly awful. And I'm going to tell you all about it. If you'll remember, a couple of weeks ago, Brad brought us a heaping pile of Ova Ball's latest, a neo-Nazi thriller, as Julian described it, about a man who goes around executing migrant families. While I, of course, didn't want to subject Live or Julian to the game, as they mentioned,

which might be worse than the movie, Julian did take it upon himself to watch the movie. Your experience, sir. You know, I was genuinely sickened. I was genuinely, like, disgusted. It put me in a really grim mood about where we're heading that, like, the richest man in the world is posting this shit for free on his platform to make sure everybody gets to watch it. I know. It's unreal. A genuine, like, call for people to start shooting migrants.

I don't really know how else to put it. It's, yeah, like a neo-Nazi call to action about cleansing the homeland of the invaders. It's, yeah, disgusting. I can't believe, I mean, I know Army Hammer is not exactly at the top of his game. He's not exactly got a great reputation as a kind of cannibal of some kind or whatever the hell. He's got a cannibal fetish, I think. Yeah, cannibal fetish with, I don't, young women. Anyways, just, you know, I can't, I still, I still can't believe that he fell to this depth because you read this script and, and you know you're never coming back.

You're never coming back if you act in a movie like this. Yeah, and the fact that he was happy to get something. And if something was this, that's not a good place for your career to be in. Really bad. And also, I mean, Uyboh's always always being controversial, but he's never, like, revealed his hand like this. This is genuinely a boomer slop, truly like the kind of movie that you show somebody so that, you know, that they can just yell and go, yeah, yeah, get him, yeah, get him, you know, just the lowest of the low. Maybe, I mean, maybe the, like, morally worst movie I've ever seen. Yeah, truly, like, offensive even at, like, an aesthetic level.

Yeah, ugly. Yeah. It was ugly. It was lazy. It was poorly put together. Like, if you're going to be racist, at least be, like, gone with the wind. You know, like, at least have there's something to be, there's something to, like, worth unpacking here.

It's just offensive. Yeah. This shit makes you want to watch Triumph of the Will so that you can, like, see some good filmmaking or something. If you're going to be poisoned anyways by like a horrible way of thinking of the world, then might as well watch like a decent version of that, you know? Truly irredeemable in just every respect. There's nothing positive about this film. No, no. And it's luxury. I think Army Hammer was doing his best Don Draper. And it's like, well, what about racism? Have you thought about racism? We have a lot of that. And,

And we think you're going to love it. Yeah, the final pitch at the end of the show is honor killings. Yeah. That's what he's known for. He's like, imagine a family. They're sitting on their couch, enjoying a meal together on a Sunday afternoon. The door opens. Who is it?

Who's at the door? Who could be coming over? A neo-Nazi. He has a gun. He's going to kill your 14-year-old boy and your entire family within the next five to seven minutes. Yeah, really there were points in the movie where I was like, it can't possibly be what it is on its face. This movie has to have some sort of second layer where he's showing us like what it would look like to make an ugly Nazi movie. And he's smearing our faces in the gore, the gore, the goreemable perspective on the world. And it's going to be kind of revealed in some way that this was like a trap for people like Elon Musk. Like, yeah, go ahead, like the movie. It's a movie about. what it would be like to have a movie, you know, directed. Yeah.

Wrong. Yeah. It's funny. No. Right at the end, it's like, right at the end, it's like in memory of like the, you know, the rape and murder victims by migrants that never got justice in Europe or whatever. Truly, truly, uh, truly disgusting. Yeah.

Couldn't review it lower. I think Uber Bowl is like when he talks about the film is trying to imply that there's like a second layer. But the second layer is dependent upon the character being like just autistic and like too rigidly a rule follower. Yeah, but then again, he kills tons of cops. It really does not concretely work in the film itself. Yeah. No, he really doesn't have, there's no layers here. No matter how much he wants to pretend there is now to save his little ass. The movie is a genuine piece of poison. Agreed. And by the way, they already made like a better version of this, which is falling down with Michael Douglas, which I haven't watched

in forever. I don't know how it holds up. But like, that already is this movie. Like, it's the same. There was no reason for this. There was no reason for this. You know what I mean? And we've rehashed a lot of this. I know some of the listeners are going to say, this sounds a lot like the movie review episode. I thought this was the game. But I do, Julian, thank you for watching it. You really didn't have to be a part of the game review, which has very little to do with the movie somehow. But I'm sorry that I, I'm sorry that you had to watch it.

It's truly awful piece of shit. It's fine. I guess I'm aware of this and I can properly. I'm more armed to understand where we're at, and it's not good, folks. Yeah, not good at all.
