QAA Podcast - Prayer Maxxing on the 4th of July (E380)

Episode Date: July 9, 2026

Jack LaRoche and Trey Grace spent Fourth of July weekend inside Intercessors for America’s “Rededicate America” event at the Museum of the Bible, and they tell Travis, Liv, and Jake all about it.... Intercessors for America (IFA) describes its own organizing model as “News. Prayer. Action.” In practice, it involves prophecy about the destiny of the United States, political prayer, and “spiritual warfare.” At the sold-out two-day gathering, Jack and Trey encounter “prophetic elder” Dutch Sheets, spiritual warrior Cindy Jacobs, one-man performer Rich Swingle, and American Idol finalist Danny Gokey. What does the event reveal about the current state of Christian dominionism, anti-CRT school board panic, anti-Sharia politics, covenant theology, vaccine weirdness, and the New Apostolic Reformation-adjacent prophetic scene? It turns out that self-described modern prophets are increasingly anxious about Trump’s rapid aging and the lack of young people in their movement. Starting point is 00:00:02 Well done. You found a way to connect to the internet. Welcome to the QAA podcast episode 380, prayer maxing on the 4th of July. As always, we are your host, Jake Rockatansky, Jack LaRoche, Liv Egar, Trey Grace, and Travis Vue. Man, it was a hot one, Trey. Yeah, I'd say we were about seven inches from the midday sun. July 3rd, 8 a.m., and it's already over 90 degrees. We survived the metro ride and a casual chat with the 30-some members of the National Guard
Starting point is 00:01:07 who were hanging around outside the station. By the time I reached the Museum of the Bible, I can feel the sweat running down the back of my calves. I tell myself that this is worth it. This is sane. The blast of air conditioning upon entering the museum got the first praise Jesus of the weekend out of me. Mm-hmm. The Museum of the Bible is breathtakingly huge, and the line upon entering was long. We went to the very back of it, wiping the sweat from our foreheads, to better see the Prince of George Washington praying at Valley Forge, crown of thorns necklaces, and the baffling declaration of Independence comic books that were selling for $4 a piece.
Starting point is 00:01:47 The gift shop might have been closed, but through the glass we spotted the colorful Dead Sea Squirrels display, which the woman behind us in line gleefully endorsed because her grandchildren absolutely loved them. Wait, wait a minute, hold on, hold on. Dead Sea Squirrels. You can't just throw that away. We got to dig a little bit deeper on that. It's a clever pun on Dead Sea Scrolls, you see. So do they have like taxidermied squirrels sort of holding each of the scrolls and a little plaque saying like, this is what this scroll says? They're these little cartoon squirrels that go on adventures in at least a book series, possibly a TV series as well. And it's done by the guy who voiced Larry the cucumber on veggie tails. He's been trying to make this a thing since 2019.
Starting point is 00:02:36 If you look at a social media, you can see a COVID mask he created that is a little squirrel nose and buck teeth that he was selling during the pandemic. It's also bright green for some reason. And do we have broken Jake? I just, yeah, I just, I feel like somebody's pulled my ring in the back one too many times. I feel like there could be like a cue map branching out from veggie tails somehow. Like, why are they always in the center of weird shit? Well, Eric Mataxis helped with that. But Trey did stop me from buying one of the Dead Sea Squirrel's books.
Starting point is 00:03:09 So thank you, Trey. I did not. You did that on your own. Talked yourself out of it. We got our name tags and a quote unquote free elevator ride from Billy West, not the voice actor. Yeah. The elevator operator, of course. We later learned that he was one of the heads of the ministry for the intercessors for America.
Starting point is 00:03:30 Just before getting to the main area of the conference, we were herded in front of a photo of the founding fathers. The bright and bubbly young woman who took our pictures was the daughter of the current CEO and president of the IFA. So this was a very much of family affair. This was the place to be if you wanted to be praying for America. We made it in. With a sigh of relief, the realization hit us. We had devoted a full weekend to this. I looked at my phone and saw a push notification for an article from the Atlantic.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Hell arrives in Washington, it proclaimed in all caps. Well, at least we had good air conditioning here in the belly of the beast with the most patriotic Christians that America has to offer. This was where the real Christians were going to be, not with those chuds over at the Great American State Fair. Four days before the event, we received an email with a jam-packed schedule that awaited us. 9 a.m. opening session. 5 p.m. program concludes. Oh, well. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:31 Really? Busy day. Mysterious. At least the list of speakers had gained an interesting last-minute edition. While it had read the same from the get-go, David Kubal, Dutch Sheets, Dr. Jim Garlo, Chris Kubal, and Mr. Third Place in American Idol in 2009, Danny Goki. A week prior to the event, the keynote speaker was revealed to us. Spiritual Warfare General herself, Cindy Jacobs.
Starting point is 00:04:56 All the stars are here. Round of applause. In the future, you will have to fight a bunch of like a second and third rate winners from American Idol. I'd fistfight Danny Goki in a heartbeat. Bring it on. They're going to come for you. They're going to come for you. Would there be any more surprise guests?
Starting point is 00:05:13 Would it be another tech bro slash Theo bro convention? Would Jack and I go out to dinner afterwards and have it be the fourth straight best meal they've ever had? I don't have the prophetic gift, so we'll find out together. Now we just have to not be out of as satanic infiltrators. Well, satanic in their eyes. It's time once again to rededicate America, maybe even reclaim it. In another parallel universe, this is a food podcast, and I'd be hearing about all of your wonderful dinners. Because when I heard you say that, I was like, I wish I could hear about that.
Starting point is 00:05:44 That sounds like a good show. That sounds like something I want to talk about. All the great food you ate. But I know what we're going to get into. I know what this is really about. And I'm sad. The falafel at the museum of the Bible was surprisingly good. But it was not best meal ever, unfortunately.
Starting point is 00:06:01 That's so funny. Well, you would hope that the Bible would be slang in, you know, Dees falafel. Intercessors for America. So, what the fuck is an intercessor? Does anybody here know? The last of the intercessors, I don't know. Any guesses?
Starting point is 00:06:20 The type of Warhammer 40K Marine, I think. Actually, yes. I only have movie and video game guesses. So the very, very short version of this is that every Christian is called to be an intercessor. So if you're a Christian and you don't know what an intercessor is, I guess you've kind of failed. In the eyes of the intercessors for America, intercessors are people who have been called to, a special higher purpose. This needs to be an actionable mission. When intercessors pray, they see quick results and they do get results. So this is a way to prayer max essentially. They are charismatic
Starting point is 00:06:58 Christians and they all band together to bring about change on a national and international scale. So IFA specifically notes the following when it comes to intercession. Effective intercession requires a prophetic perspective. By hearing the voice of the Lord through the leading of the Holy Spirit, coupled with vetted and strategic information that is never presented in a sensationalist manner. So in short, not only does intercession call for specifically praying for something, but you need to be hearing the voice of God as well. You might get a little bit of prophetic action happening for you. So intercession, according to IFA, is a pretty spiritual affair. But on that note, who the fuck are the intercessors for America? Well, their website has a helpful
Starting point is 00:07:42 definition for all of us. It states that the IFA was founded in the heat of the Nixon years, 1973, to combat the following. Political corruption, foreign war, an energy crisis, unjust and unbiblical laws, abortion, a growing acceptance of drug use and sexual immorality. IFA publishes news that Christians need to pray about in a variety of easily accessible formats. So it's kind of convenient. If you don't know what political issues to pray about, you got a quick fact sheet to know where to direct your prayers. It gets even better because the three main pillars of the IFA are the following. News, prayer, action.
Starting point is 00:08:22 I think you guys can see where this is all going. This sounds a lot like CNN, you know, news, prayer, action. CNN's gone in a really interesting direction. Their main website is IFAPraise.org. And in addition to housing useful resources for members, such as a truly unhinged amount of small booklets that Trey ended up signing up for, it also functions as a news aggregator website, designed to pull headlines to support their chosen narrative of the day. So first, find the news. Second, translate the news into something that the intercessors can actually pray about in a specific way to intercede for our nation and more specifically, our leaders. Third, and most important, you got to take action.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Many of our intercessors serve as election staff on school boards, in state legislatures, throughout the halls of Congress, and even in the executive branches of the state and the nation, so they can send, quote, millions of prayer messages to elected officials each year. This is like Christian Leninism. They're like building dual power. You've got it, Liv. They are on to something here, and what it is is not good. Because while typical Christians are focusing on issues such as pro-life advocacy, gender and sexuality, marriage and the family, the IFA is very unique.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Because although they do care about these things and care about it a lot, their heaviest focus is on national security, combating anti-Christian bias. And most importantly, spiritual warfare. Their website states, there is an enemy of our souls and our nation who orchestrates a question. coordinated battle plan that is discernible and beatable with spiritual weapons. So how are you guys feeling about this? No, well, yeah, rising dread. That's how I'm feeling right now, rising dread. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:17 My brain is so cooked that when you say spiritual weapons, I'm like, some yellow or gold colored, probably. I think it's a mithril-based, actually. I need to build up my mana a little bit because this is just draining it. Each time I use this attack. Hmm, probably slotted weapons if I had to guess. It's the only way I can protect myself, honestly. It's really, it's like, you know, the foam that you put in your attic.
Starting point is 00:10:46 It's like that's what's going between like my skull and my brain. It's like a nice little, just a nice little pad. You mean the stuff that's like full of small shards of glass? Yeah. That explains a lot. Yeah. Trace of Box. So let's talk about prayer and why it bothers me so much in this setting.
Starting point is 00:11:04 You can pray for literally anything. Prayer can be basic kindergarten rhymes. Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep, and grain from an early age. Even Metallica does that one. Prayer can be asking for miracles for yourself. Prayer on behalf of others is interceding. That's what intercessory prayer actually is.
Starting point is 00:11:22 But what you're praying for matters. Remember the scene in Bruce Almighty, where Jim Carrey grants every prayer with yes, and is shocked to find out that all of the sports teams playing that day tied, and the lottery was split amongst hundreds of things. thousands of people who each got $17. There's a message in that. It's impossible for all prayers to be answered in the affirmative. Do people die because their loved ones didn't pray hard enough? That train of thought will quickly drive you mad. Praying is a tool for the faithful,
Starting point is 00:11:48 and tools can have multiple uses. This one, though, is beating plowshares into swords and pruding hooks into spears. Praying for everyone on earth to be converted to your specific brand of Christianity is Christian dominionism. Innocently done, it's disrespectful at best. At the level of influence that IFA has, it's evil. It's praying to a higher power and trying to get that higher power to serve you and your ends. And there's absolutely no way you can opt out of it, the same way you can't opt out of unasked for AI added features you get in software updates. They're praying to convert you in the hundreds of unreached people groups around the globe, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. All the while, they're crying loudly and repeatedly
Starting point is 00:12:32 about the invasion of Sharia law. Wonderfully American, Protestant, that the God you're praying to is like yourself, homo-economicus. I often remember the joke about, as long as there are tests, there will be prayer in public schools. That's obviously a lot different
Starting point is 00:12:46 than trying to force prayer on public schools, or praying to force prayer on public schools, or praying for godly men and women of influence. It also reminds me a lot of the Mormons praying to convert people after they're dead to be Mormons. Oh, yeah. You're in this club no matter what. Yeah, the posthumous conversion of Anne Frank.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Yeah. Wait, what? They will posthumously, I believe, baptize figures into Mormonism to make sure they don't go to hell. Because they do is if you're not Mormon, you don't go to heaven, I believe. And so it's like, well, we got to baptize Anne Frank because she doesn't deserve to go to hell. I'm sorry, Jack. Anne Frank is Mormon now. Anne Frank is Mormon?
Starting point is 00:13:24 She was like the hero that we fucking had growing up. That was who we had. She should have opted out then. She should have opted out. Why didn't she, she didn't read the, she just scrolled. She just scrolled all the way down to accept. To be fair, she was just like 14, wasn't she? Yeah, she didn't know.
Starting point is 00:13:43 That's very unfair. Very unfair for a group to be like, you know what? She's one of ours, we think. First they come for the Osmond's and you said nothing. News, prayer, action. IFA's prayer guide of pushing back on power hungry school boards. says, Father, I pray for the restoration of local control of our neighborhood schools. Bring us godly
Starting point is 00:14:10 men and women of influence with hearts to serve their community who will run and be elected for school board positions. Give us bold men and women of integrity who will not compromise with the world. Let them not shrink back from the battle that wages for the souls of our children. Give them the backbone to stand up for Christian values and principles. Let them be moral, proactive, and sacrificial in their zeal for implementing godly principles. Let them make godly decisions based on your word and not on man's reasoning or political correctness. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen. I just want to say it's funny, like all that sort of like high talk, you know, a very like, you know, sort of like a nicely sound, a nice sounding prayer, a cinematic sounding prayer,
Starting point is 00:15:01 only to be like political, like, complain about political correctness at the end. It really just sort of, it really, ah, man, you know, one step forward, two steps back. Oh, just wait. They go on to talk about Loudoun County public schools in nearby Northern Virginia. Taking a prime spot on the nightly national news, this is what happened recently when the school board chairman shut down the meeting, refused to allow parents to speak, called the police, and demanded police arrest to parents.
Starting point is 00:15:30 The upheaval left more than 100 parents who signed up to speak unable to do so. Of course, IFA doesn't and can't admit that... The school board for Loudoun County Public Schools voted to abruptly end up public comment after the board chair repeatedly asked those in the at-capacity crowd to minimize disruptions and show respect to others that signed up to speak. They also can't admit that the complaints about LCPS teaching critical race theory are simply unfounded fear-mongering about a new boogeyman, as Legal Defense Fund says on their FAQ page.
Starting point is 00:16:03 The term critical race theory has been co-opted by opponents as a catch-all and rallying cry to silence any discussion about systemic racism, ban the truthful teaching of American history, and reverse progress toward racial justice. Critical race theory is not taught in K-12 schools. I will agree in part with IFA here, since CRT is in fact a legal theory taught in law schools. It should only be taught in law schools or higher-edged...
Starting point is 00:16:27 Oh, it is. Prayer answered, I guess. Thanks, God. Good news, IFA. You can move on to praying for other things now. Yeah, Trey, I think this, I think we're going to have a lot of situations here of like, if you look that way, you can see your prayers or answer. If you go to a certain, if you go to a different place, your prayers could be answered. Let's get into that, shall we? What they seem to mean by co-opting CRT is they don't want to talk about anything concerning race. As I said last time in episode 375, the party consensus seems to be MLK solved racism.
Starting point is 00:17:00 so there's no need to teach any further about it. That's why Prager You can instead teach this. How can there be slavery in America when the Founding Fathers said that all men are created equal? Yeah, and I've heard that some of those Founding Fathers owned slaves. What about that? Children, our Founding Fathers knew that slavery was evil and wrong, and they knew that it would do terrible harm to the nation. They wanted it to end, but their first priority was getting all 13 colonies to unite.
Starting point is 00:17:30 as one country. The southern colonies were dependent on slave labor, and they wouldn't have joined a union that had banned it. Are you okay with that? I'm certainly not okay with slavery, but the founding fathers made a compromise to achieve something great, the making of the United States. That's like a pantomime and Frederick Douglass saying that, which is crazy. This is awful. This is lifeless, it's wooden, it's like bad, it's like South Park. It's like bad South Park animation, but also like bad like power puff powder puff power puff power puff girls power puff girls sorry for doubting I don't know why I thought maybe I was wrong and said powder puff the power puff girls like either way whatever it's horrible it's horrible prager you is one of the worst things to happen to animation that content is grim it's even worse when those words are coming from a poorly animated frederick douglas but let's roll the tape here's what he actually had to say precisely what I have now denounced is
Starting point is 00:18:27 in fact, guaranteed and sanctioned by the Constitution of the United States, that the right to hold and to hunt slaves is a part of that constitution framed by the illustrious fathers of this republic. Because irony is dead, that's from his famous 1852 speech. What to the slave is the 4th of July? So let's take a look at some headlines, some of the news that IFA is looking to get prayer and action on. Mamdani-backed candidates score wins for socialism. I was also praying for that one. I was with them on that one. My prayers got answered. It works. Well, they're praying the other way. This is from just the news on June 26th, 2026. Jake, you're killing it. Do you want to take the prayer
Starting point is 00:19:11 here? Yeah, sure. I mean, but look, I got to tell these folks, like, I'm praying to Jesus too. Like, I'm praying about Mondani to Jesus. So I don't know what you're going to do because, like, some people's prayers get answers. Some people don't. And because I'm praying to the same guy, like, they shouldn't have a problem with it, technically, right? I think this. This is infinite proof that God listens to Jewish and trans people more than Christian Americans. Liv, we're just going to be interceding for Mom Donnie here. Yeah, I think, yeah, me and Liv found the, wait, wait, wait. Liv and I found, my mom's been really on my case about my grammar lately, so I'm trying to, I'm trying to do better.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Liv and I found the infinite prayer glitch. Yeah. Okay, so here, here it goes. Lord, we ask you to restrain socialism in America. Well, I don't want to, well, if I'm a powerful prayer, I don't want to say this to speak. Whose prayers haven't been answered? I mean, Corey, you did get your Achilles tendon ripped by playing ultimate frisbee, right?
Starting point is 00:20:12 So, like, it seems like God hates you the most. Maybe you should take these prayers. I do currently have COVID. Oh, Liv, you do? Oh, you take it. You take it. God hates you. You are.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Currently infected with the coronavirus. Lord, we ask you to restrain. in socialism in America. We pray for your strong conservative leaders who will promote biblical policies, not Marxist leaders who will oppose you. A hex, hex, hex, hex, hex on that prayer. Just saying. You know, Liv, you should like add in just a little cough to show that God hates you, so the prayer won't be answered. Next up, we've got, has Trump made America safer? This is from the IFA staff on June 13, 2026. Lord, we thank you for all that the Trump administration is doing to keep us safe. Continue to guide our leaders as they work to protect America.
Starting point is 00:21:00 I'm not a journalist, but even I know Betaridge's law. Any headline asked in a question can be answered with the word, no. This is an interview by Chris Kubal of a Goliad County, Texas sheriff, population 7,000, who's fighting the cartels and human trafficking by any means necessary, including giving his 12-year-old son and AR-15 to point at suspects while he makes arrests. And there is a picture in there. Oh, no. Oh, no, he's got his boy there holding the gun. This kid, I'll tell you, the kid, this kid is going to, I know what he's going to do and we're going to hear about it on the news.
Starting point is 00:21:39 I have a technical question on this. Like, wouldn't the kickback from an AR-15 being shot by a 12-year-old like breaks and bones in the 12-year-old's body? No, the sheriff was quick to point out in the article that I found that his son has been raised around and, this is definitely not the first time that kid is having a R-15. It might be the first time he's had one trained on a gang of illegal cartel runners or something, but yeah. A little written house in the making. You can see it. You can see it's like a part of the written house, written house factory.
Starting point is 00:22:10 Oh, well, yeah, that shirt alone. Yeah. This is so like 1800s coated. You have like a little boy standing watch with like a gun. It's just like what happened to all the rules? I'll tell you what. You let those six or seven guys out of hand. handcuffs. He might get a couple shots off, but I think seven guys rush that kid with that gun.
Starting point is 00:22:29 I think that gun could be taken away from him. I think that I'd like pay some for to watch that on pay per view, make some money for a good charity. Well, we don't want anybody to really get hurt. Well, no, no, I'm not saying that the kid would get hurt. I'm just saying that, you know, at least a couple of the seven guys would be able to somehow forcefully take the gun from the child. This would be a fun new summer Olympics event, right? You put like rubber bullets in the gun or whatever, and you give it to a child and see like how many, you know, how long it takes like, you know, five grown men to just take the gun away from the beat of time. Jake, inventing hunger games from first principles.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Are you stronger than an angry 12 year old with a firearm? And the last article I pulled, and believe me when I say, there are many more in my initial cut for the script that didn't make it. Report, 88% wink of job growth since 2020 went to foreigners. IFA staff June 3rd, 2026. God, we ask you to grow the economy and the job market, but we pray that growth would not come at the expense of American workers. Guide our leaders and help them put Americans first.
Starting point is 00:23:37 This was a big one for me. They literally quote, the SPLC designated hate group, Center for Immigration Studies, but that number doesn't appear in the article text anywhere. There's a graph showing that labor force participation for less educated prime age, 25 to 54,
Starting point is 00:23:54 U.S. born men remains at historic lows compared to prior peaks in the business cycle, and that all education levels went from 88.3 to 88.4 between 2019 to 2024. Despite being written by CIS's Director of Research, Stephen Camerota, the fact that IFA is pulling a, shall we say, suspect percentage with heavy white nationalist meaning out of thin air is appalling. Also, it's not really news. That article was written nearly two years prior to publication of the IFA's piece. So that's IFA in a nutshell. They aggregate scary-sounding headlines
Starting point is 00:24:27 in order to mobilize prayer warriors to rally behind the cause du jour of the the theeocrats running the government. Before we get to the event itself, I'd like to spin it on definitions, if I may. And this is about the biggest disagreement Jack and I have had in our friendship so far. Was this a new apostolic reformation event?
Starting point is 00:24:43 Cindy Jacobs and Dutch sheets are clear NAR members, but I don't want to fall into the trap of assuming anyone who uses the title Apostle and Prophet is NAR. The NAR label is one that should be reserved for those and see Peter Wagner's inner circle, and while that definitely includes Dutch and Cindy, I'm not sure about the rest of the players. That having been said, the other players are all part of the apostolic and prophetic movement, and they are all
Starting point is 00:25:05 definitely dominionists. So maybe calling it NAR affiliated or second degree NAR would be more fitting than anything else. As always, I will refer to the experts in the field, notably Dr. Matthew D. Taylor heard on episode 375 as well. Arguing about definitions is always a great time. I just don't want to get sued. We count. We claim. Rededicate. Morning of July 3rd, we gave our names.
Starting point is 00:25:31 We got our badges. They never checked our tickets or ID. Trey didn't even have any trouble getting a voice recorder in. On July 4th, none of the security even bothered to look in the bags that we brought along with us after we walked through the metal detector. While this might look like terrible security, you got to wonder, what sane person would pony up the $250 just to see what IFA was up to. Maybe they were right for thinking no sane person would be stopping by. The museum of the Bible was beautiful. The tall ceilings and the wide hallways make you feel very small, which is only appropriate considering this is supposed to be a
Starting point is 00:26:09 religious museum. We did not use the free tickets that we got to attend the Museum of the Bible that Sunday, but again, that might have been a good thing. Neither one of us felt like braving the way through the fireworks-induced smog that was blanketing the D.C. and all points southeast. But we did say that we would end up going back there at some point once the air was safe to breathe again. From there, it was time to head upstairs
Starting point is 00:26:34 and hit the merch in the resource tables. Intercessors for America was very generous with these resources, much like they are on the actual website. They gave us a free tote bag and one of their little Bible in a year deal that includes ample sections on how to pray for all of your government officials. The merch table featured the intriguingly titled
Starting point is 00:26:54 The Executive Orders of President Donald J. Trump, a biblical perspective by Dr. Jim Garlo, who we'd later see speak at the event. Danny Goki had his own merch table, as did one of the other speakers at the event, Rich Swingle, and the intriguing Patriot Mobile, the only conservative Christian mobile network.
Starting point is 00:27:15 Anybody want to describe what's in this picture? Well, you have a American Eagle with USA flag wings perched on top of a Wi-Fi connection symbol, and it says, I identify as a patriot. I love this sticker. They had it in other forms of merch as well, and it's just a thing of beauty. I can't believe this exists. What a world we live in, guys. I'm jealous. I want one of these. I have extras so I can mail you one. Thank you. I'm curious, like, what kind of plans Patriot Mobile offers. Patriot Mobile is a fascinating beast that I'm hoping we'll be covering again in the very near future. Excellent.
Starting point is 00:27:58 They had a lot to say. They also had a really, really unhinged ad that I encourage everybody to look up. We took a seat near the back of the full 500-seat auditorium. I had had my doubts about whether or not this event actually sold out, like it claimed on the website. But it looks like it did. By sheer coincidence, we were sat next to Dr. Corinthia Ridgely Boone, one of the founding members of the Intercessors for America, who was also instrumental in the creation of the museum. At 91 years old, she was still quite spry, extremely well-spoken, and a true joy to talk to. She regaled us with
Starting point is 00:28:34 stories of her good friend General Cindy Jacobs, dear Mark Green of Hobby Lobby fame, who helped build the museum, and her longtime correspondence with the inspirational prophet Dutch sheets. Intercessors for America, she said, is full of prophets, and she was sure we'd be meeting some very soon. She also shared her worries with us about the direction the world was going. There's too many anti-Christian laws being passed, and so many children don't even know the words to the Lord's prayer. Can you believe that? I don't think I know the words. Jake, you're a special case. Yeah, what kind of Christian are you, Jake? A Jewish one, one of the original Christians. Actually, good point, Jake. You went.
Starting point is 00:29:14 in this round. It's notable that all of her talking points seemed to be drawn straight from the documentary that Intercessors for America screened the night before. A Cash Patel directed Kyle Justice written documentary titled by Dawn's Early Light. Man, I wonder how that guy even has time to run the FBI. He's partying with hockey players. He's making movies. I mean, he's just, he's got a pack schedule.
Starting point is 00:29:42 He really does. Our chat was interrupted by the, the start of the day's programming, the celebration kicked off with an appropriately janky AI video. We would endure this video four times over the course of the two-day conference. Let's go. Most people think of it as something behind us. A collection of names, dates, monuments, something that happened, something finished, something written long ago. When we think of past history makers, we think of founders, patriots, reformers, men and women whose names
Starting point is 00:30:17 fill books and museums, people who seem larger than life. But at one point, they weren't. They were ordinary people who found themselves standing in extraordinary moments and chose faithfulness. I mean, I keep thinking about like the way in which the far right has so fully embraced AI because they're able to like make media of their fantasies so easily without having to rely upon, you know. Artists usually don't agree with their views.
Starting point is 00:30:42 Yeah, and it's not like they care about being tacky. anyways. And we used to have reenactors for this kind of video. We used to be a proper country. It was not a good video. And the use of AI within it is extremely apparent as it goes on. They show a person running for office and his name is David Chen. And the AI renders it as D-A-U-E-D-Chen. There's a school board and you can tell it's a school board because the desk is labeled school board in the middle of it. And then there's my favorite, which is, again, keep in mind this is at a Christian prayer event, and they had to AI generate footage from inside of a church with a scripture passage
Starting point is 00:31:29 on the screen being titled Scripture 10, Chapter 21 versus 15 to 17. It is beyond parody. And we had to watch this so many times. And people cheered each time. Each time it was like, this is something new, guys. Trey's so mad. I can see how mad you are. You guys can't see him on video.
Starting point is 00:31:50 You can only see, you can only hear the audio. As somebody who has studied, you know, Christian texts, like, this must have been, I mean, just soul-crushing. Yes. In a word, yes. Fortunately, I've had 380 episodes of QAA to help brace me for this. David Kubal, BMC. Corinthiansia's dear friend Dave is the CEO and president of the Intercessors for America. Before the IFA, he was at the fellowship of Christian athletes, state director, regional director,
Starting point is 00:32:27 vice president of training and leadership development. Kubal received his Masters of Divinity from Asbury Seminary, which was recently in the news for being dropped by the United Methodist Church as an approved school, due to their views of traditional marriage. What do you guys think of this picture of him? You know, he, I mean, he's got a sport jacket on. He looks very tanned, honestly. Looks like a Florida grandpa.
Starting point is 00:32:50 Kind of looks like a wax figurine or something. He's like, you know, in Gremlins, I'm blanking on the name of the actor, but hopefully one of you remember. In Gremlins, too, the guy who dresses up as Dracula and, like, runs the monster show on one of the floors of the buildings. Like, that's who he kind of looks like. For me, he is kind of the man that you picture in your head when you hear the word Unk.
Starting point is 00:33:14 This is so much older than Unk, though. This is so... Live, please, come on, right? I'm not a part of this group of humans. He was goofy. He was laid back. He was constantly cracking cheesy jokes that got audible groans from the audience, but they were still cheering him on.
Starting point is 00:33:33 He had a filler segment that he ran multiple times, titled Fun Facts with Dave, and even created two AI-generated theme songs to introduce. it. The fact it was AI generated, he kept mentioning. And I have to admit, I still have the fucking first theme song stuck in my head, even days after the event. I'll just be going about my business and suddenly, fun facts with Dave will just start playing in my head, making me want to rip it out of my ears. But he was like an easy guy to like. Can you describe this image? Is this kind of like the map of the Berlin Conference of European Powers carving up Africa a little bit?
Starting point is 00:34:14 But it seems to be some they're carving up something else. It's a group of people carving up something else. So this is actually from the Great Cheese Incident. When Andrew Jackson was gifted, I believe, 1,400 pounds of cheese, left it in the rotunda. And then that created, and see if you can spot where he's going with this, that created such a mess that it had to be cleaned up by the next administration. I'm so surprised that liberals have not found out about this. And that that next president was, in fact, David Kubal's direct ancestor, Martin Van Buren.
Starting point is 00:34:52 So Martin Van Buren had to eliminate that stench from the entrance to the White House. And this was one of the fun facts with Dave. He also put in his talk that if you go on the rotunda right now, you've got a great picture of fight, fight, fight, Trump, right across from a very dour, arms crossed Hussein Obama. Completely left out the first name. Extremely fun, cheeseball dude, and then he keeps talking. But, you know, this is the unc figure who married his junior high school sweetheart, Chris Kubal, who is now the IFA's chief program officer, and we'll be coming back to her later.
Starting point is 00:35:33 But Dave opened the entire event with a speech. Here is a selection from it. 250 years ago, a handful of ordinary men signed an extraordinary document. They declared to the world that our rights do not come from kings or governments or parliaments. They come from the almighty God. This single truth changed history. There has never been enough. other nation quite like the United States. No nation has exercised such a remarkable influence
Starting point is 00:36:11 while extending such opportunity. No people have produced such an extraordinary combination of prosperity, innovation, generosity, and freedom. The evidence is overwhelming. Over the last 250 years, the United States has become the greatest engine of wealth the world has ever known. Think about that. Millions of ordinary men and women, not kings, not nobles, not ruling elites,
Starting point is 00:36:44 have had the freedom to build businesses, to invent industries, to own their own property, to provide for their families. And why? Because God has blessed our nation. It's good to know that the ruling elites
Starting point is 00:37:00 weren't responsible for America's greatness. There were certain, no elites among the founding fathers. The fact that 48 of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence were wealthy enough to be slave owners at the time, that's irrelevant, right? The fact that like in English there's no distinction between the people who work the farm and the people who own them is doing a lot of work in these sort of discourses. Oh yeah. He continued. From this discovery of the polio vaccine to the mass production of penicillin
Starting point is 00:37:29 to pioneering cancer treatments to map of the human genome, American innovation has helped save countless millions of lives around the world, from the sands of kitty hawk, to men walking on the moon, to now a robot exploring Mars. God has blessed our nation with remarkable inventiveness. This would be the only positive thing about vaccines said the entire weekend. Smallpox vaccine was blamed for the death of Princeton College President David Brainer, and the COVID-19 vaccine was roundly booed a few times and outright renounced by HHS Dr. Tammy Huizenga on stage on Saturday. Then we got our first mention of Psalm 33 verse 12, a favorite of both the IFA and the Museum of the Bible gift shop.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. As an aside, Psalm 3312 and Second Chronicles 714, the verse that Trump read at Rededicate 250, and that was immediately followed up by Lou Engel and Dutch Sheets himself would be the most cited verses over the course of the weekend. Kubal set the agenda for the day and for the weekend. We were going to recount God's hand upon our nation with a talk from Jim Garlo. We were going to reclaim the covenants God made with us
Starting point is 00:38:48 with a speech from Kubal, and we were going to rededicate our nation to the Lord with a lecture from Dutch Sheets. And then the next day, we might even get a prophecy from Spiritual Warfare General Cindy Jacobs herself. He stressed that this event may have been a bit different than the usual IFA event. We're not launched anything. We don't have any new initiatives.
Starting point is 00:39:11 We're not trying to raise money. We're here to celebrate what God has done. We're not going to alarm you with the latest issue, the latest front against our freedoms. We're here to celebrate. So yes, yes, outside of these walls, Christians are being horribly. oppressed, but we're not going to worry about you with these issues today. They couldn't worry about that, Travis, because this event was a victory lap for the IFA. They had no illusions about just how important May 17th had been to their cause.
Starting point is 00:39:44 He also mentioned that each speaker would have a scripture reading as walkout music. And you guessed it, it wasn't a live person reading. It was an AI voiceover from the public reading of scripture, the IFA's upcoming Bible reading app. No human I have ever met who has ingrained. in Christian scripture would pronounce it Philistines. It's Philistines. They were putting
Starting point is 00:40:06 the emphasis on the wrong syllable, but they did have cool background music and sound effects, which I can't recreate with my poor simple voice box. It was kind of like hallow, Jake. Like live hallow. Yeah. I did check it does not seem to be the same audio
Starting point is 00:40:21 as pray.com, but I might just not have dug far enough or subscribed enough to pray to find that yet. The Public reading was followed by some music by Dimeji Ola-Yinka Israel and his band The Israel Project. He didn't name it, Kubal named that on stage for him, who was honestly a beacon of hope throughout the weekend. While he did perform both here and at Rededicate 250, he's a wonderful musician with an earnest faith and message of love and acceptance that resonated with the crowd.
Starting point is 00:40:48 So next up on the docket was Dr. Jim Garlo. He is a leader in the New Apostolic Reformation, though unlike the others who we would be meeting over the weekend, not a prophet. He's authored a number of books, his most recent one being the executive orders of President Donald J. Trump, a biblical perspective. So you can kind of get an idea of who this guy is. He is an influencer with the primary goal being influencing the eradication of the separation between church and state. He's perhaps best known to listeners as one of the biggest warriors in support of proposition. Banning same-sex marriage in 2008, California. In the bio that Kubal gave him as an introduction,
Starting point is 00:41:33 he noted that not only does well-versed Garlo's ministry, minister to members of Congress, but also to members of parliament and elected officials all across the globe. Kubal used the phrase diplomat for God to describe Jim Garlo. We both have MDIVs from Asbury Seminary and you know anything about what's happening with Asbury who are our hearts are morning today because of that. But he has a doctorate in theological history.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Now, I didn't even know you could have one of those. But he has that. And he told me, as we were talking about the recount portion and his content for what he's about to share with you, he said this, and I think it'll make you. He's always wanted to give this talk. But he's never had a chance. So the Lord lined up a guy who is known across the globe as a diplomat for God, who has a
Starting point is 00:42:39 doctrine in theological history to give his favorite message that he is never given to bring it on the 250th anniversary of Lange. Garlo is definitely a theological historian, and his talk started with the early days of American history, and once again, a heavily generative AI-based slideshow. We don't need to really talk about the details, because it's probably easier to note when something wasn't AI generated. For the most part, his talk was pretty dry. There's one interesting thing I'd like to call out. The Puritans come. There's a difference between separatists and Puritans we'll talk about in a moment. And so let's go to the next slide.
Starting point is 00:43:18 The Puritans were congregational in church government. They were not highly centralized. In other words, It didn't have a top-down government per se. They were congregational. Each congregation had a level of autonomy, but they were very uniform. They followed the exact same practices, and it was expected they would flow in the same way. Theologically, they were Calvinistic. They were impacted by John Calvin from Geneva, Switzerland, one of the more brilliant systematic theologians of any of church history. They believed in sovereignty of God, predestination.
Starting point is 00:43:49 They had a strong sense of church discipline, and they carried that in uniform. harmony across the early days in New England and theocratic. They believe that God and the word of God needed to govern. Don't think theocracy in a bad negative term now. Think of it in a positive term that God is the one who forms and shapes government and has the ultimate stay of that. Next slide. Were people just like snoring in the audience? Oh my Lord. Yes. There was one crowd member near us who kept herself awake by screaming, hallelujah, any chance she could. I don't want to guess how many times. she said it in two days. IFA leaders and members want a theocracy,
Starting point is 00:44:28 and they think that by rededicating America as a Christian nation, they can bring one about. And again, there is no way to have a Christian nation without Christian nationalism. And Calvinists set off alarm bells for me. It's getting plenty of mention these days with the communion of reformed evangelical churches, aka CREC, that group's co-founder Doug Wilson
Starting point is 00:44:48 and Wilson's spiritual advisee, Secretary of Defense, Pete Hax-F. As I mentioned earlier, vaccines were a hot topic even in a historical talk. David Brainer was a very famous missionary who cared deeply for the Native Americans. He became the president of Princeton College, today, Princeton University. But he took the COVID vaccine. By that I mean, smallpox vaccine, experimental. He didn't die smallpox.
Starting point is 00:45:15 He died immediately from the vaccine. So he was only a few months as president of Princeton College. and he died at a relatively young age. Can you imagine just dropping dead the second the needle goes into you? A blessing, really. As was prophesied, we had recounted God's hand upon our nation. Now it was time to reclaim God's covenant.
Starting point is 00:45:37 And what better way to jump into that than with Kubal reciting the Ronald Reagan quote, Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We do not pass it to our children in the bloodstream. Then he moved on to talking about redigging wells, a concept that would be echoed throughout the weekend. And which I still don't understand. So all the wows that his father's servants had dug
Starting point is 00:45:58 in the days of his father, Abraham and the Philist... Father of Abraham, his father Abraham, the Philistines stopped up, filling them with Earth. The next step in passing on God's blessing to the next generation is to expect opposition. It's going to come. Isaac had to redig the wells of blessing and obedience from past generations. As Isaac redug the wells, he did not have to wonder, though, if he were digging the right wells.
Starting point is 00:46:34 He didn't wonder if there was water at the bottom of the well. He knew that it was there. Reddigging the wells of existing covenants guarantees success, because God has made a contract with the original people who set the covenant in place because of obedience. Now, hang on. Do you really mean amen? Amen. Because, I mean, that's a strong statement. That will change our mindset.
Starting point is 00:47:04 Reddigging the wells of existing covenants guarantees success. Because God has made contract covenant with those who've gone before us. Those who are obedient. It doesn't even rely on us. We can redig those wells, no one there's water in the bottom of them. But of course we have to tie that back into modern politics somehow. What the Philistines didn't understand, what the leftists don't understand, was that they weren't just filling a hole,
Starting point is 00:47:40 but they were attempting to put an end to the generational blessing put in place by God. Philistines, they were fighting against Isaac, they're fighting against God himself. Put a little fire in your belly? I mean, it's kind of making explicit that a strategy is to put some fire in people's belly by tying these spiritual matters to like earthly political matters. Saying like, you know, fighting, you know, leftists here on earth is like the highest spiritual calling you can do with your, you know, your time alive.
Starting point is 00:48:16 Exactly. Leftists are modern Philistines fighting against God himself, attempting to put an end to the generational blessing put in place by God. I'm not sure how exactly. That's never really explained. The Philistines literally filled the holes dug by Isaac, but leftists, I don't know, probably abortion or something. And yes, real quick, Travis, to your point, this whole event and I think also May 17th, the larger picture is Israel is God's chosen people, therefore America is now God's chosen people. I feel like they're just jealous that the Jews were kind of the chosen ones, at least were referred to.
Starting point is 00:48:51 it, right? I mean, they said this about, it's like Christ says, you know, they say it about me. I don't say this of myself, you know? Right, but keep in mind that this is a group who one of the leaders wrote a book about the biblical perspectives of the executive orders of Donald J. Trump. None of those words are in the Bible. And literally the second one mentioned is artificial intelligence. book Donald 69 420 And the artificial intelligence Shall rule the world And I will be its loyal servant
Starting point is 00:49:25 As it fills my coffers With golden coins and calves Who I don't mind worshipping by the way If the calf begets if the calf lays a golden egg As they do I heard it was the biggest calf you'd ever seen Biggest calf you'd ever seen And it's laying eggs
Starting point is 00:49:42 Golden eggs of goose, geese, geases, gooses, the size of goose and the golden eggs. And we'll be there at the end of times, which is now, by the way. So everybody get to Israel, signing off. It's kind of beautiful that it's Catholicism that's on like the liberal split in that part of the culture war, Protestant pro-AI, Catholic anti-AI. What is going on? Oh, God, why can't everybody just get along?
Starting point is 00:50:11 A parade of horrible. Garlo's talk was followed by a bit more from our man of the hour, the MC David Kubal. He played a video message from former Minnesota state senator, intercessor, Michelle Bachman. She had a number of pillows that looked like halved limes on her sofa, and I found those extremely distracting. Following the video, Kubal elaborated a bit further on his three points. Recount, reclaim, rededicate. According to Kubal, when land is rededicated to God,
Starting point is 00:50:43 it is legally removed from the human economy. He cited Leviticus 2716 to back this up. We all know Leviticus is the most sane and trustworthy and applicable to modern issues book in the Bible. None of us are mixing the different types of textile we're wearing, right? Super sane. So the colonizers of America are the new Israelites crossing the Atlantic, which is the modern Red Sea, according to the IFA.
Starting point is 00:51:10 At this point, just be Mormon. Like, what are we doing? I mean, we're doing Mormonism, but with a lot of extra steps. Yeah. You know, I think the evangelical Christians are also envious of the Mormons because they really want a super American Christianity, but they want to do it with all the weird heresy. They also just really want somebody who can rock the role in Joseph and the amazing Technicolor dream coat like Donnie Osmond could. But just nobody's stepping up, man. Nobody could do it like him.
Starting point is 00:51:38 So all of these points, except for the Donny Osmond bit, was covered in by Dawn's early light. which is the Cash Patel directed Kyle Justice written documentary that they had screened the night before. America has entered into a number of generational covenants with God, and generational covenants are unbreakable. Like if your ancestor entered into it, you are stuck with it, whether you want it or not. A similar thing was covered in Widows Bay,
Starting point is 00:52:04 which was definitely a documentary. He cited a lot of bullshit to back all of this up. Like America's motto is in God we trust, not imploribus unum, despite the fact that's what the woke leftists want you to think. The great seal on a single dollar bill, which was given to us, is the all-seeing eye of God and is not at all Masonic. In fact, there's nothing Masonic about the dollar bill at all. It is so fucked up to me that I'm like a young FBI agent, right? Okay, I'm walking through the halls.
Starting point is 00:52:32 I got a manila folder, you know, tucked under my arm. I'm going to drop off highly sensitive intel to the director of the FBI. And I go into the office and he's got his like feet up on the. desk and he's reading a book like, like, what I really want to do is direct. You know, like some like industry book about like how to how to break it into the picture business. It's like, it's like what you were saying earlier, Travis, like, how is this guy doing anything? It must mean that the FBI director role is completely made up one and it's a position
Starting point is 00:53:02 that doesn't actually have to do anything, really. I have a lot of questions and I have no answers. All of this was followed up with something even more interesting, a medley of patriotic worship songs sung by a very uncomfortable crowd of people of all ages up on the stage. Can you describe this image to me? Yeah, it kind
Starting point is 00:53:22 of looks like the end of Saturday Night Live. Yeah. Where they're all on stage kind of congratulating one another and, you know, waving to the audience. Dozens of people crowding the stage, yeah. They passed out little American flags for us
Starting point is 00:53:38 to wave and we all sang songs like the National Anthem and God less America. And all of the singers on stage got a red, white, or blue stole to drape around themselves. What are these? Yeah, what are the what are the taluses? They're just literally these little stoles that they were given so that everybody up on stage was wearing either red, white, or blue. And the funniest part of all of this was as we all exited the auditorium at the end of the first day, people were just leaving their flags in a pile on a chair. So what does the flag really mean to you guys? They've got a bigger one at home. The lyrics on the big screen lagged behind, but we all knew the words anyway,
Starting point is 00:54:16 because of course, everybody here in the audience identified as a patriot. Are all the posters behind them AI? The text looks... They are suspect. It looks a little bit morphy, you know? They're definitely suspect, and those were up on both days. They had interspersed in these pictures of Americans, like that's Saka Joa there. They had interspersed pictures of people like Mike Johnson and members of the IFA and Charlie Kirk, alongside founding fathers and other significant figures. It was really a fascinating display. The one on the left there, the man with his head down is none other, of course, than Mark Wayne Mullen, formerly the dumbest senator from the
Starting point is 00:54:57 state of Oklahoma. And then preying over him is Dave Kubal back when he had shorter hair and a goatee. His newer look is working a lot better for him, I think. Oh, yeah. Lots of whites. Lots of whites. I agree. Yeah. Lots of whites. It was a surprisingly diverse group. I will say that. I met Native Hawaiians. There were a number of Latinos, Asian folks, Filipinos. It was a lot more diverse than you would expect of a gathering of this nature, which is in line with what Dr. Taylor had been saying about this being a not a white group. This is a multicultural group. Multicultural Christian nationalism, yes. And I will say that it seems to be the reading I've done, most of the Asian members of groups like this tend to be
Starting point is 00:55:46 either Chinese or North Korean expats who are freeing the evils of communism and finding Christianity as the best weapon against that. That's Chey Ann's whole thing. You know, the guy who had to run a right in candidacy for California governor because he didn't get the paperwork filed in time. The actor. So do you want to describe what you see here, Jake? Let me see. tune in a little bit so I can get a good luck. We've got a, we've got a man in a wig and judges' robes or, or, you know, 1800s ceremonial garb. This feels like mega Hamilton, basically. Yeah, it does.
Starting point is 00:56:25 He kind of looks like, is this, am I supposed to, is he somebody famous? Should I know who this is? Oh, no, you definitely shouldn't. He's not that well known. A local performer. Yes. So all of the above bullshit wasn't the easiest thing to follow. but actor Richard Swingle is talented enough to do it.
Starting point is 00:56:43 He looked, acted, and sounded an uncanny amount like Robert Picardo to me, to the point that I thought that his little one-man show could have been like a hollow deck episode of Voyager, or at least he could have been an understudy for the guy. This was one of two performances Swingle put on, one on each day. In fact, on the second day, he ended the entire proceedings. In this, he was acting as Reverend John Bacon and basically was just doing a lot of inside jokes for the IFA
Starting point is 00:57:12 that had the crowd literally dying with laughter. For instance, he made at least two references to the three pillars of the IFA. News, prayer, action. Complete with triumphant fist pumps into the air. He even referenced Dutch sheets, give him 15, referring to it as, give unto our lord a quarter of an hour. Some of these jokes, though, were much more pointed. For instance, Liv, if that didn't get you, would this frighteningly strange scenario get you?
Starting point is 00:57:43 What if a mere sniffle or ailment might be wielded as a pretext to shut up the doors of the church? Honestly, Jake, perfect. So, Liv, did that tickle you at least? Yeah, no, it's my favorite brand of conservative comedy, which is just getting mad at things. So to make things even better, Swingle stayed in costume the entire. day. Of course he did. So he was just standing behind his booth wearing that and passing out pamphlets to people. And apparently this is pretty common behavior for him because everybody was like, oh yeah, that's all rich, isn't it? Of course, he's like standing behind his booth being like,
Starting point is 00:58:24 go one where we all go, wink, wink, nod, the storm hath been upon us, my friends, my friends, my friends. Oh, you are nailing, swingled, Jake. It's like I'm back in the room. It's this whole vibe. I love guys like this who their whole deal is like getting rented out for parties and events and they play like one character. I was once at a sort of like a welcome party for a group of friends and his buddies hired like a John Travolta impersonator to come and like dance with them and sing with them. It was so bizarre. I was like I would feel so uncomfortable just like going into a place and be like, yes, yes, it's me.
Starting point is 00:59:00 The character I was hired to be today. Hello. It's just a funny. It's just a fun. I don't know. I don't know, maybe it pays well. Oh, I mean, this was his entire deal, and honestly, it fucking rocked. He was the most amusing part of both days.
Starting point is 00:59:14 And people's reaction to him is just like, oh, yeah, that's just the way he is, really was just the icing on the cake. He seemed like a regular theater type guy. Everybody loves a little theater. But he's also a regular article contributor to the IFA website. Earlier this year, he was very proud to announce that he had performed at the Kennedy Center. and he still regularly performs and offers classes. But again, dude was pretty fucking hilarious and, you know, go do your weird thing, bro. Hell, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:45 The world needs more like jaded actors who embrace right-wing politics because like it soothes their anger in some way that they like didn't make it in the way that they thought they would. So many types like this. And if you're talented, you're a way bigger fish in a way smaller pond. He was like pretty fucking fun and I particularly enjoyed his horrendous Scottish accent the second day. Like, you go, bro, do your thing. It sounded like the only Scottish person he had ever met was an old VHS of Braveheart. Yeah, it was, it ruled. The Maestro.
Starting point is 01:00:23 So who do you get to follow the most entertaining man of the day? How about a literal prophet? Now we're talking. Yeah. The sound of all 500 people in the small theater roaring with excitement as he stepped out on stage was likely loud enough to be heard outside. While the bulk of the excitement was to finally see Prophet Dutch himself, at least some of it had to be relief that the seven minutes of Walk Up AI scripture was finally fucking over. It was not good, guys. It was so boring. Even the little sound effects that reminded me a lot of hallow, that was not doing it for me.
Starting point is 01:01:00 It was painful. Now, Dust Sheets is a prophet in the New Apostolic Reformation. He's a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute, which is a university accredited by the International Christian Accrediting Association, so not by the actual state, but by a private organization run by Oral Roberts University leadership. He's written 23 books, so he's probably about as busy as Cash Patel. And this includes an appeal to heaven, which repopulterized that flag, thanks to prophecies about it. Most importantly, he is a member of the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders, along with Cindy Jacobs.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Do we know how he got his name, by the way? I've been wondering that the entire time. Dutch Sheets sounds like, you know, in like middle school, when you would make up like sex movie, you'd be like, oh, it's the like dirty Sanchez. Or like, oh, that's the this, that. Like Dutch Sheets sounds like, you know, something from that. Like, I gave her a Dutch Sheets. They're like, what's that?
Starting point is 01:02:00 It's like, oh, well, you fart and then you... No, no, no, no, Jake. Dutch sheets is when you fuck somebody so hard that they have a vision, and then you just wrap them up in a sheet afterwards and toss them in a dumpster. It's apparently his middle name, his first name is William. They have a vision and become a prophet. Or maybe it's like, you make them have a vision
Starting point is 01:02:22 and then you just shit on their desk like they did at the Capitol. Prophet Dutch's talk began as, something of a reflection focused primarily around a particular event that moved him. I didn't know what intercession really was. It was maybe a higher form of prayer. I didn't know. But it was intercessors for American beginning the journey of teaching others and leading us in praying for America. It's hard for me to believe that's been 50 years. But it's been a wonderful. journey. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Dave and this ministry. I believe I've said it many times. This is the, as far as I've concerned, it's the point of the spear for prayer in our nation.
Starting point is 01:03:18 And I appreciate it very much. I've really wrestled with which direction to go today. There's so much in my heart. He lived my journey quite a bit the last couple of months since May, 17. He discussed how he first learned about the existence of prophets thanks to General Cindy Jacobs, and then related a story that he has only rarely shared before, that of one of his first prophetic experiences. He began giving me his heart for America in the 80s. In 1990, he gave me a vision that was new to me. I had never had a vision or anything like this before.
Starting point is 01:04:05 I was speaking to a group maybe about a third this size. And suddenly with my eyes wide open, I was not seeing the people in a room, I was seeing something else. And it was frankly a bit unnerving at first. I just thought, what is this? And I stopped and watched this vision. The people in the room obviously knew something was happening and they just watched me as I watched whatever I was watching. But the Lord showed me a stadium filled with young people and they were radical in their passion
Starting point is 01:04:51 for Jesus. their worship, their intercession, they're just radically on fire. And then the scene changed and they were dismissed and I saw them in the parking lot about to go back to whatever part of the country they had come from. Must have been 60, 70,000 of them. And in his vision everywhere they went, balls of fire sprang, revival fire in the nation. And as I came out of this, the Lord said to me, I'm going to send a third-grade awakening to America. They said it will begin with the youth.
Starting point is 01:05:40 This also, I'm just now realizing, easily could have been a reference to Lou Engels, the call prayer movements that were also on the mall about 10 years after this. And this concept of a great awakening being led by the youth was the one that would be echoed later by Prophet Cindy, and something that seemed to be on the mind of many of the people there. Dr. Carinthia had spoken about it for some time, as did other faith leaders in casual conversation. So were they perhaps a little cogs into the facts like, listen, our movement is a little appealing to the senior citizens right now.
Starting point is 01:06:11 It doesn't really have much of a future until we get, you know, 20-somethings on board with this prophetic sort of idea. Aside from family members, Jack and I might have been some of the youngest people there. And the lack of young people within this movement, was something that Corinthia was very aware of. Hence her comment about young people don't even know the Lord's prayer anymore. So it was definitely on a lot of people's minds. And don't worry, Travis, there's a plan in that, and we'll get to that prophecy in a little bit.
Starting point is 01:06:40 From there, he spoke once more about May 17th. I feel like May 17th was not the end, but a new beginning. Amen. Amen. I believe the rededication was extremely important. I do not feel like necessarily what happened that day had to be just right, or that even what happened that day was what caused or created this new opportunity we're moving into. I think the work has been done over the last 30 years by people like you who have been praying. It was one of the rare times that I felt like we would just win by showing up.
Starting point is 01:07:23 that most of the work to get us to that point had been done, if not all of it. And we were just showing up and saying, thank you, Lord. We just declare we're here now and we're moving forward. I studied the word Dedicate shortly after I heard about this gathering, not this one, but the May 17th gathering. So I said, Lord, show me some things from scripture about what this would mean for the nation. What is he even talking about? He's like, God, this date and the Lord is showing me numbers and blah, blah, blah, blah. You've never felt the desire to, like, know the etymology of a word?
Starting point is 01:08:03 A reminder that May 17th, 1776 was a day of prayer and fasting. And one of the other throughlines of the event is without May 17, 1776. The Founding Fathers wouldn't have had the spiritual gumption in them to declare their independence on July 4th. Oh, I see. So he's like, it's really not about these guys and what they did. It's about a day of prayer a little bit before then where God surely gave them the idea to do this. That's it? Yep. And again, that's why Rededicate 250 was held on the National Mall on May 17th. That is, in their opinion, one of the biggest unheralded dates in American history, because that's why Reded Decadecate 250 was held on the National Mall on May 17th. That is, in their opinion, one of the biggest unheralded dates in American history, because that was the hinge of history moment. July 4th, that was just people, you know, it was men putting their name on a piece of paper. It wasn't prayer driven the same way that May 17th was. Exactly. Why can't like we just be God's creatures and we did something, we did something divine by declaring
Starting point is 01:09:11 our freedom? Why can't it just be that? Why does it have to be that like actually like they had no, is it that they have to take all sort of like influence of man? out of America? Is that what they're trying to do? That this is just a purely destined by God. It is definitely predestined, Jake. I mean, haven't you been convinced by this yet? We've been trying so hard to convince you.
Starting point is 01:09:35 I don't think so. I think we found the wrong place. I think we killed everybody here. I think we got lazy. We didn't want to go back. We didn't want to have to call home. And we're like, all right, how do we get out of this? Jake, baby, Native Americans still exist.
Starting point is 01:09:48 I'm here. Didn't kill everybody. missed a few of us. Yeah, a couple slipped through the cracks. Like, we'll let you guys have casinos and stuff. Thank you. I was really just waiting for that. Which, look, hey, I mean, I like going to the casino, so I'm...
Starting point is 01:10:05 Somebody's got to do it, bro. Yeah, I mean, look, what can I say? I'm the client and also the president. But I guess they're trying to take gambling away from us, too. Like, you took everything else. No. The only legal gambling in 2027 will be crypto. Or Kalshi.
Starting point is 01:10:20 Yeah. or collie. Yeah. Only white people are allowed to make money off of gambling. That's new Trump rule. Trump too. You fucking colonizers. The only kind of bets that'll be made in the future will be like,
Starting point is 01:10:32 how many times like does Grogu blink, you know, in the Mandalorian versus Grogu? And all of the wins are going to be like the guy who edited the movie. You know, not going to lie, I would go see the Mandalorian versus Grogu. Show me their fight to the fucking dead. Death. The Mandalorian just stomp that bastard. I don't know. His name is Baby Yoda.
Starting point is 01:10:56 That's the next. That's going to be the next one. I don't know. I don't know. Under over 15 blinks, what do you have? I don't gamble. I think I got like 27 blinks. Does it count if he goes to sleep?
Starting point is 01:11:08 Does it count if he goes to sleep cutely? No. Blink is open eyes, closing eyes. Open again immediately. Not sleeping. Not closing permanently. A blink is a blink. Okay.
Starting point is 01:11:17 I'm going to say, you know what? I'm going to say like slow end, like eight blink. Yeah. Really, really, taking the under. Okay. I'm taking the under on this. I'm honestly taking the under on it too, because you know they need to just fit as many action scenes in there as possible.
Starting point is 01:11:30 So when are they going to be spending times on the blanks, if not for a Lucas comedy moment? They're not going to be thinking about the blinks. The discussion then turned into an interesting, if deeply nerdy discussion of biblical linguistics and what the word dedicate and rededicate might mean biblically. Looking from Dutch to the audience, it was clear that some were struggling with their attention. tension flagging, in spite of the fact that he explained one of the words that meant dedicate was Haram, which was the root for the modern day word, her. And that dedicate, in that sense, was a very intimate thing, giving your body and soul over
Starting point is 01:12:02 to another. This led to the interesting order that we should, quote, be dedicated to God like a wife, to her husband. Wow. Like Tesla to his pigeon. The other word, Kaddash, he explained, could be roughly translated as holy and meant to set apart to make it holy. He said that Trump referred to rededicate 250 as the kadoshing of America, and I don't think even he believed it when he said it. Also on the topic of Trump, he made several other comments and reference to him that were not at all flattering. The overall vibe of it could be summed up in this quote. So it was just a couple weeks later when I heard President Trump say,
Starting point is 01:12:37 America is entering the golden age. I don't think he knows when he's doing this stuff. But you had this marriage at the same time, basically, of prophets and the president saying the same thing over this nation. We all know in this room, I don't need to say this. We all know this is not about Trump. He's no different than any one of us. Was it God moving behind the saints he messed up as bad as anybody else? In fact, God covers him a lot. Sometimes when you just try to honor the Lord and you drip and fall, you fall forward.
Starting point is 01:13:26 That's a great summary of evangelical attitude to Trump. It's like, yeah, I mean, he's obviously, if you have two eyes, you can see that he doesn't believe any of this. He's falling forward. Yeah. He's like, look, we can't choose. We can't choose who our saviors are. You know, we couldn't choose the state puff marshmallow man. And yet he did come to New York City to destroy it.
Starting point is 01:13:49 It struck me that he's explaining Trump in the terms of like Domino and the X-Men, where he just has God looking out for him so he keeps fucking up. And it sets off this Rube Goldberg machine that lets him come out on top in spite of himself. That is a good summary of Trump, though. Yeah. Yeah, it is. It really is. I was going to say, like, he's not wrong.
Starting point is 01:14:09 Like, I understand the perspective that Trump is divine in some way. That he has managed to fuck up this amount of times in his life and he's still somehow on top. Hmm, that is a really interesting angle, Liv. He does seem to get away with just about everything. I mean, that's why they think that he's a time traveler. Like, how else? If Jesus' dad, God wants Trump, like, has picked Trump to sort of bring about the final, the last two pages of the Bible, as that one influencer said, what does that say about God? Daddy God's gotten a bit old, Jake, a bit wacky.
Starting point is 01:14:45 He has some strange ideas. Or he's just a really big fan of jackass. It's like the grandpa who comes home with like roadkill that he found and he's like, oh, we're adopting a dog. Well, you know, the worm in RFK Jr's brain is now in God's brain, doing some interesting things. I'm sorry, shoot me with some lightning. Do you really think our president could get up here and articulate with this rededication these things I just said to you?
Starting point is 01:15:13 but he did have something in him that said we have to do this he doesn't he doesn't need a people that understand fully or that have the insights that we necessarily have what he needs is a willing people and a prayer army that will birth what he needs at once so that he can accomplish everything if we kadash ourselves to him he will kadash the nation to him government priesthood land
Starting point is 01:15:43 I like the people who think that Trump is an instrument of God are also saying, listen, we know he's not all there. He's sundowning. He's unraveling before our eyes. We can't deny it. But that doesn't mean he wasn't sent by God. That was kind of the vibe that I got as well, Travis, is there already looking at their watches being like, this guy's on his way out.
Starting point is 01:16:05 We got to find who's next. And it's not who you think it is. Dutch also told us what to look out for. I'm going to say this, I feel like I'm prophesied when I say this. Look for a season now in America where God is not just moving among the masses, but look for a great outpouring and revival taking place among spiritual leaders in our land. Amen. Look for seasons of them rededicating to the local.
Starting point is 01:16:41 look for them drawing near fresh and new look for hunger levels to begin to rise again look for the apathy or complacency that may be on something to fall off of them look for fire to begin to burn in them again come on yes because God always when he's
Starting point is 01:17:00 kodoshing a people so he can do something new he always comes to leaders and says I need to start with you and the leader that he seems to be kodashing if this conference is any indication is Mike Johnson What's the cadashing again? It's kind of like bunny foo you're picking him up and sort of cadashing him over the head?
Starting point is 01:17:16 Yes, in order to make him holy. Send him apart. For God. Okay, I get it. Rededication. I feel like an air horn should go off there. Wah! Bum bum bum.
Starting point is 01:17:31 Instead, it's just like the guy from Police Academy who does all the noises with his mouth. It's the fucking Dean scream. The final day kicked off with a very brief. interview with Coach Joe Kennedy. Do any of y'all know who Coach Joe is? Hmm, Coach Joe? No, I don't. Well, apparently you guys aren't fans of high school football or Supreme Court cases. Enough. Nope, don't care. So in 2015, Coach Joe did what he always did, guys. He took a knee at the 50-yard line and prayed. This time, however, school officials, complained. Coach Joe complied and stopped. So everything could have just been normal,
Starting point is 01:18:18 except he sought legal counsel. In October, he was back at it again, praying at the 50-yard line. So this time when the high school decided to put him on a paid leave for his actions, he brought the case against the school district. This case would end up going to the Supreme Court where he won. Of course, this ended up being made into a movie called Average Joe, which was name dropped by Dave Kubal as he interviewed this guy. And nothing of real note was said in the interview beyond what an inspiration coach Joe was, how we should all approach him and give him a hug because he's a really nice guy. Trey and I did not do that. Following this was the state leaders panel, which was a perfectly melted distillation of insanity. It was also not at all all that interesting compared to what we were waiting for.
Starting point is 01:19:13 There was talk of demonic activity in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, which I still think should be pronounced bar, and how this was defeated with a day of prayer. I've looked into this, and there is a spot that is still considered sacred to pagans right around that town called Hexenkov, but I'm not sure if this was exactly was what she was referring to. She talked of terrorists being thwarted through intercessory prayer intervention and Masonic activity being overcome through, say it with me, guys. Intercession. Intercession. All of this was giving major satanic panic vibes, but that's not all that surprising at this sort of event. Also, I will note, because I looked into this, the terrorist was not in fact of Middle Eastern descent. He was Brazilian, and probably cartel member would be maybe a little bit.
Starting point is 01:20:06 closer, but I guess I don't know. Not my idea. She spoke of, again, Middle Eastern terrorist. Islamophobia was really the name of the day here, and Mamdani was name dropped alongside this many times throughout the event. He's really gotten people scared. So Chris Kubal was where things really started
Starting point is 01:20:27 to pick up and get exciting. The sweetheart. Chris Kubal was Dave Kubal's junior high school sweetheart, as well as the IFA's chief program officer. She has two op-eds in the Christian Post. America at 250, satanic revival or Christian revival, and Islamic Sharia laws coming to a small town near you. So you can kind of get an idea of what she's all about,
Starting point is 01:20:53 given the vibe of these headlines. They're coming to force their extreme religion on you. Come hear about our extreme religion instead. If you actually take the time, to read her articles, they are full of what can only be described as AI slop language. That's awesome. So, you know, chat GPT is getting a workout with this crew. The satanic revival to her is.
Starting point is 01:21:20 Not just their yearly meeting, but a revival to counter the moves of God that are happening across the nation. An effort to infuse spiritual darkness into our nation. Counterfeiting and twisting what the Holy Spirit is doing in America and what our rededicate 250 event is designed to usher. So the satanic revival was held in Baltimore. My birthday weekend, in fact. Happy birthday.
Starting point is 01:21:42 It's been a while now, but thank you. Happy birthday, Satan's coming for you. I know, right? It was fantastic. Especially you, Jack. Well, I can actually believe that now. This counterfeiting and twisting of the Holy Spirit could be seen through the satanic revival's promotion of things like heavy metal music, LGBTQ pride, and the very tongue-in-cheek, sinful testimonies that you can find on
Starting point is 01:22:05 line. It was meant to be a protest of the infusion of Christianity within the nation and everything that is being done through groups like IFA. It was also extremely playful and being sponsored by the satanic temple, which is not a religious organization in the traditional sense of the word. They are a political group that is promoting humanist concerns. So again, people misunderstanding what Lucy and Graves is all about here. Also, I will say, I think I heard. a rumor that they're going to try to overthrow the nation. So for their revival event next year, you guys should send us to go check it out just in case. Yeah, just in case we need two anti-overthrowers. Yeah. So Chris Kubal, within all of this, was asking us to move from prayer to action, particularly
Starting point is 01:22:54 when it came to areas like China's Depression of Christianity, LGBTQ plus indoctrination, and the problems of democratic socialists. She was looking at us to, put our lives on the line because that's what it means to be a true intercessor, because this is real spiritual warfare. This was the first explicit call to action that had occurred. It had been hinted at through Dutch Sheets is talking, but Chris Kubal saying we need to literally put our lives on the line, that's where things got exciting, guys. Holy shit. Everybody started glowing, I'm sure. Yeah. So by putting our lives on the line, by moving from prayer to action, us intercessors are supposed to find a way to be the answers to our prayers.
Starting point is 01:23:39 The good doctor. Following the call to literally sacrifice ourselves in the name of God, we were met with Jenny Story, the head of Patriot Mobile, and Tammy born Hizenga, a doctor with the HHS. It took me a while to figure out how to spell Hizenga's last name because I just kept thinking about the Big Bang Theory and I kind of hated myself for that. Tammy and her giant bozzyngas. Both of these fine young women were dedicated. to stopping the spread of Sharia law. And dear Lord, did they talk about that a lot? I'm not going to
Starting point is 01:24:13 focus too much on Patriot Mobile here, but Tammy Hizenga, she sure was interesting. She stressed immediately before even answering the first question that was postulated to her that she was here for personal reasons, not at all due to her governmental position, which was pretty hilarious, given the fact that the first night they screamed by Dawn's early life where we got to hear from people. People like Pete Hegseth and Cash Patel and Mike Johnson and co. All also not appearing in the movie at all in the name of the government, even though they are the fucking government. So, you know, all personal capacity. She talked a lot about changes in medicine over the past 40 years and seems to believe that a lot of places were still operating on medical knowledge that we got over 40 years ago and not updating with the times.
Starting point is 01:25:03 And getting with the times in her mind meant focusing primarily on nutrition because what we put in our bodies reflect on our health. So she mentioned, for instance, the changes that happened to the food pyramid and got a massive cheer from the entire crowd. Somehow, raw milk was not mentioned by her, but I was bracing myself because I was pretty sure that was going to start coming up. The biggest moment from Miss Tammy Bourne Hazinga was this. which she said in reference to the importance of good nutrition. I interviewed with Secretary Kennedy, I said, listen, if we can keep one child from becoming, or getting an autoimmune disease or becoming autistic,
Starting point is 01:25:45 it would be a success. Yes. That's right. Kids can become autistic now. I hated this so much. And it's the food pyramid that's actually enough from milk. You know what is beef tallow. We need to give more beef tallow, no more autism.
Starting point is 01:26:03 Yeah, you know, if beef tallow was just injected to me a bit more as a child, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Beef tallow, bone marrow, uncooked liver, you know, all the things that are, you know. We were eating in our evolutionary environment. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, I wonder what her opinion was on the raw meat diet, but I didn't get to talk to her about that. But I was kind of wondering, you know, she complained a lot about being referred to as a quack and how many people had called. her quack and how she had to give up her private practice in order to go work for HHS. She also had quite a lot to say about how we should be praying with our patients more,
Starting point is 01:26:44 we being healthcare workers. So, you know, it's great to know that people like this are working for HHS. Yeah. America's doing great lift. Yeah, no, it's a great country. I'm excited for you guys. It feels so good to be here and to live here and to, not want any of this and to know you can't stop it.
Starting point is 01:27:07 Yeah, I'm wondering personally if maybe Diane Hennessy Powell and others are worried about the plans to eliminate autistic people through the use of adequate nutrition, because then there'll be less telepathy in the world. But yeah, didn't have a chance to ask her. The Prophet Cindy Jacobs is a new Apostolic Reformation Prophet profoundly influencing Peter Wagner's ideas about spiritual warfare. She is an A-list celebrity in this fucked-up world. She was also praying at the Capitol on January 6th while everything else was going on. Like a lot of people influenced by New Age ideas, even though she would decry that as the work of the devil himself.
Starting point is 01:27:45 She's fond of discussing the biblical importance of the number seven with Trump and the fact that he was inaugurated at 70 years, seven months, and seven days. When I looked this up, it was actually six days. But who's counting? It needs to sound cool. Cindy used the same rhetorical trick that Prophet Dutch had the day before, she began her talk very quietly and sedately, but over the course she became louder and more animated and more shrill until she was literally calling for certain people to be annihilated or eliminated. Jack and I both had a headache before she started talking, and it didn't get better through her half hour. Anytime she happened to say something particularly heinous, she hedged it with a chuckle and a, oh, there I go preaching again.
Starting point is 01:28:26 Oops. You could see the Summer of Love in 1967. They were ideologues, and they went into our universities, and they became mind-molders. But we didn't understand, because we were so busy waiting to get off the planet to go to heaven. We didn't mind the store. We were not alike to this nation, and Satan wants to snuff that out, and we are seeing that. But we say no to communism. We say this will never be a communist nation
Starting point is 01:29:00 as a voice. And while the church, we were in our ivory palaces and we were saying the world is bad, come into the church. And so we are reaping from that. I think it's time for a great prison break for the church to get out into the streets. Amen.
Starting point is 01:29:25 It's time for us to get out into every sector of society. There I go preach in again. what I'm a preacher. What can I say? Again, every sector of society is a clear dog whistle to the Seven Mountain mandate. Straight up Christian dominionism. It's not even subtle. What can I say? She's just preaching. Next time I say something horribly offensive, I'll be sure to go. There I go preaching again. She's just preaching. I'm sure this is fine and innocent. It's not at all concerning.
Starting point is 01:29:52 This, of course, tended to get a huge cheer from the crowd and much further encouragement. The moment she knew it was safe to let loose with those ideas, she leaned into it. This was a friendly group, of course. No one was there to see what else she had to say. This testing of the waters would be seen later with Danny Goki, of all people, as well. Prophet Jacob's talk was titled, A City Set on a Hill, America's Redemptive Heritage. And yes, again, it was AI PowerPoint.
Starting point is 01:30:17 It centered around the same idea that we have been introduced to before and both by Don's Early Light, as well as many of her other talks. America was founded as a Christian nation, therefore it needed to continue to serve as an example of pure Christianity to other countries to inspire them. Where she went off in the new direction was with the concept that the very soul of America was being challenged. We're experiencing demographic jihad with Islam coming in, and they're going to take over by numbers.
Starting point is 01:30:45 But I say no, because God has a people who pray. God has a people. We know our God. It's like 1% of America is Muslim. Like they're using the European discourse. They're importing it without the actual like content. Yeah. Well, it's so many millions of people more.
Starting point is 01:31:04 And it's like, yeah, but it's this much the graph. Yeah. You're forgetting, Liv. We have Mamdani now. That's true. He's going to start doing it now. He's going to turn it to Europe. Yeah, he's going to start forcefully converting people to be Muslim.
Starting point is 01:31:19 Now, Sidney Jacobs is a missionary. She has spent a lot of her life overseas preaching the gospel to people in the Middle East and Africa. And she has a lot of opinions about these poor, uncultured souls who have never heard that Jesus exists, let alone his beautiful message. These opinions might have something to do with the fact that Peter Wagner had strong opinions about non-Americans that he expressed in his book, Hardcore idolatry, facing the facts, where he detailed that people in Argentina must burn the following items in order to be saved. The kinds of materials that might be bringing honor to the spirits of darkness.
Starting point is 01:31:53 Pictures, statues, Catholic saints, books of Mormon, pictures of former lovers, pornographic material fetishes drugs Ouija boards Zodiac charms Good luck symbols crystals for healing amulets talismans staracards dolls voodoo items love potions books of magic totemoles certain pieces of jewelry
Starting point is 01:32:13 objects of Freemasonry Horoscopes gargoyles native art foreign souvenirs and what have you I love the what have you at the end just in case the list wasn't exhaustive enough And what have you He's like is there anything I'm forgetting All of those Argentinian Mormon freemasons.
Starting point is 01:32:31 More than once, Jacob expressed there were two billion people who had never heard that Jesus existed. In fact, the reason for violence and persecution against Christians in many of those areas was simply due to the fact, others didn't understand what it was preaching. She was particularly focused on preaching to what she called untouched tribes in Africa. You know, those who don't know it's Christmas after all. Cindy Jacobs understand is a white woman. She also shared more prophecy that was in line with what Prophet Dutch had imagined for young people in America, to close out her speech. And I prophesied from IFA that this prayer movement is going to double and double again,
Starting point is 01:33:04 that there will be many, many, and there will be a young movement, there will be a Gen Z movement, and a Gen Alpha, there will be youth praying and children praying. We're seeing the grain of the prayer movement, but I believe with all our heart, that our generation has mantles and mandates that we will give to the next generation. Over the course of her talk, she called for the annihilation of the regime in Iran, as well as the elimination of a certain member of the Supreme Court. And no, it wasn't Clarence Thomas. She also described the coming bloodbath within the Middle East and further emphasized the vital need to vote in the midterms in upcoming elections, saying that we are only one election cycle away from
Starting point is 01:33:45 oblivion. Surprisingly, she also indicated that even someone as horrible as Mamdani could be saved, although she struggles to believe such a thing would be possible. So there you have it. There is a plan to make sure this movement increases. She prophesized it's going to double and double again. So we're good. But do you believe that Mom Doni can be saved? I don't know. That would be a real troll move if he just kept doing exactly what's doing but convert
Starting point is 01:34:10 to Christianity. Like what the hell could they say? What can they say? It's like you got what you wanted. The only thing that would be worse if he was suddenly able to feed a crowd with like a loaf of bread and a fish or something. Yeah, they really wouldn't like that. I want to see charismatic Christian Mom Dane.
Starting point is 01:34:24 Just like being the same guy he is just also a hardcore charismatic Christian. I'm just so tired of these guys pretending like they haven't already won. All of this stuff is made up like Liv was saying. It's like they're just importing the hatred from the UK because it whatever. They don't actually have anything to complain about. Most of them already do and can live in places where they don't have to see a single person of color or anybody, you know, any gay or trans people. Like, we're living in 2026 AD after death. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:35:00 It's like, I just, I'm sick and tired of these people being like, we're the upbred. They're coming for us. They would be happy if they didn't have access to the internet so they didn't know what was happening in like, Mom Donnie, New York or communist L.A. Because that's what's getting them all worked up. I'll also point out, Jake, that AD refers to Anno Domini, which is the Year of Our Lord. And also that phrase is kind of outdated. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:23 And most of us woke scholars will use CE for common era. Common era. Where am I getting after death then? Is that just like what they tell Jewish people? That's like, yes, before Christ, BC, before Christ, AD after death. I mean, that's what I grew up learning too. So it's not just you, Jake. Again, the year's era was also when he was born, not when he died.
Starting point is 01:35:44 So you'd be off by about 30 years there either way. Yeah, we're still taught that, though, growing up. The surprise guess. This was the most surprising part. of the whole event for me. Lucas Miles, the host of the Epoch Times and senior director of Faith at Turning Point USA, showed up. Miles was the entire reason that we even went to rededicate 250, as his book, The Pagan Threat, alerted me to the White House Faith Initiative in the first place. It was obvious from the start that he was a surprise guest, likely having stopped by during
Starting point is 01:36:17 the middle of his make-heaven crowded tour, as Dave Kubal was floundering on stage the whole time, as for what exactly to talk to the young preacher about. They landed on the topic of recently assassinated Charlie Kirk. Miles reiterated the popular talking point that Kirk wanted to create the most conservative, most Christian generation in history, and emphasized always that prayer itself is an ethos. Throughout the talk, Charlie Kirk's death
Starting point is 01:36:46 was referenced only as September 10th, as if turning September 11th into a full two-day jingoistic, fuck fest was the right move. I got to say, I don't think that's going to catch on. No one's going to say 9-10 and no immediately they're going to talk about the day that Charlie Kirk died. This is a real failure to launch. I could guarantee that's never going to happen.
Starting point is 01:37:07 They were pushing it so hard, Travis. They're going to think it's like a new meme from like third graders like 9-10, 9-10, 9-10, 9-10. You know, it's just like. Oh, Jake, it's more like 9-10, then you have to grab the neck. Ew. Oh, am I back to? Have I gone that dark yet? I can smile.
Starting point is 01:37:28 I can smile at a joke, but. I do wonder, like, if the people here are, like, old enough that they haven't seen, like, the internet memes backlash. Oh, they have to be too old for that. Unless it's being linked. Right. Like, it could be discussed on IFA. I haven't looked at that. But Miles described Kirk's funeral as the most unified the church has been since before the
Starting point is 01:37:50 Protestant Reformation and said that thanks to how many tuned into the broadcast, it was the largest gospel reading in history. I have my doubts about that, given how popular the Charlie Brown Christmas is. I mean, the church was famously not very unified during the Protestant Reformation. That was the big thing. There was a split. Before. Before. Oh, before. Oh, since before. So basically, Charlie's death healed the rift caused by the Protestant Reformation and brought Catholics back into the fold, because again, this is a heavily Protestant evangelical non-denominational event. So the Catholics are actually the splinter group to their mind. I'll also point out Catholics are the original Protestants. They left the Orthodox Church, but we don't have time for that one right now. So the broadcast of Charlie's funeral
Starting point is 01:38:35 led to over 12,000 new churches coming under the Turning Point USA banner. And they're currently working to assimilate all of those resources and directions. So, you know, Turning Point USA is now being run by the Borg Queen Erica Kirk. His overall message was that he wished to teach people how to respond biblically in the bedroom, the boardroom, and the ballot box. I'd love responding biblically in the bedroom.
Starting point is 01:39:01 Praise the Lord. They're like, we want to control how you fuck, how we get paid, and how you vote. So his talk was followed by the crowd laying hands on him to pray for him. Y'all want to describe this? It's a lot of wrinkled hands covering a body.
Starting point is 01:39:17 A lot of furrowed brows. Yeah, you're right. Not a young people's movement. No. Retiree, a retirement age, at least. And the nice little star-spangled cowboy hat there just to the left of his head. I was just zooming in on her. She looks like she's blowing out the candles on a birthday cake.
Starting point is 01:39:37 She's got a gigantic, it looks almost plastic cowboy America hat on. It was beautifully covered in sequence. But considering how it's been less than a year since Charlie Kirk was killed, I have to say it was truly amazing to watch the way he moved into the crowd so calmly. He bowed his head and relaxed his shoulders as everyone clamored to put their hands on him. I managed to place my palm between his shoulder blades. And what I felt was an utterly relaxed guy. There was no tension in his muscles. It was just a total submission to the swarm of people around him, murmuring prayers.
Starting point is 01:40:14 and it sounded like a field of cicadas. Oh, my Lord. Everybody was just a babbling louder and louder for minutes on end. Jesus, Jesus, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, Jesus, please, it sounded like that Jake. It was, it could have been in like one of those Bloom House movies, like a haunted house. It was wild. It was really scary.
Starting point is 01:40:36 And if I may, that that's also something that IFA does on a lot of their prayer calls. It's called an all prey. and is anybody who has been on a conference call since the start of COVID, it is exactly as horrendous as it sounds like. It's just everybody, Mike on praying full blast, going for it. You can't make anything out. It was great cover because I had to pray for some absolutely horrendous things this weekend just to like not be noticed. And I come from a not evangelical Christian background, I think I can say. So all of this felt like a totally different religion than what I was raised with.
Starting point is 01:41:15 I was more of a kneeling hands clasped in prayer Christian kid growing up. This is bonkers. So after this amazing All-Pray event, I managed to get Miles' attention. Got to look him in the eye, shake his hand, and thank him for the pagan threat. I told him he was why I was there that day. He looked me right back in the eye, blessed me, smile just absolutely beaming on his face. It was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. The musician.
Starting point is 01:41:44 Have you guys heard of Danny Goki? I feel like I should. It sounds like an important name. Have you watched American Idol? Not recently. Well, he was on it in 2009, so it might have overlapped. If you want to get an idea of him, there's a wonderful video on YouTube of him singing Dream On. The American Idol fans affectionately refer to it as Scream On and one of the cringiest performances.
Starting point is 01:42:09 of the show. He ended up placing third on season 8 behind Chris Allen and the frequent Queen collaborator, Adam Lambert. So just imagine you're going up against fucking Adam Lambert. Good times. He was open on the show about both his faith covering Carrie Underwood's song Jesus Take the Wheel, which is about a car crash as far as I can tell,
Starting point is 01:42:31 as well as the tragic loss of his first wife only a few months before he auditioned. He was a crowd favorite, and that crowd has largely followed him into his highly successful career as a Christian musician. To get an idea of what he looked like, if we were calling Alex Jones Dark McElmore, this guy is rabidly conservative Christian Adam Conover.
Starting point is 01:42:53 God, I hate it. Yeah, that's accurate. Yeah, I like that image. No, it's even worse than person with him wearing an all-white suit. Yeah, bad beard on this guy. I got to say, the beard on this guy is like, it gives me anxiety. It's like really, really,
Starting point is 01:43:09 fluffy, really dark, but also looks fake. Yeah, a lot of him looks fake. Yeah, Danny ruins everything. So Goki performed a full set for this eager audience, all while trying his hand at Prophecy. As he performed music videos for his songs played behind him, sharing the lyrics, so we could sing along, as well as showing more provocative images. The most notable of the kind of interesting things that came out of this dude. his mouth was him ad-libbing the words, Communist L.A. during his cover of God Bless the USA. But the most provocative of the images came during his song, Makeup, which was off of his
Starting point is 01:43:52 latest album. The music video, notably, cannot be found anywhere online. I braved the wilds of Rumble trying to find it and came up with nothing. But this is the backstory for the music video that he explained to the assembled crowd. He's a perfect guy. His name is Tommy Iyerobi. Have you heard of him? I saw him in Atlanta, and I heard him preach a message. I was so impacted by the message I said,
Starting point is 01:44:19 I'm going to write a song about this. It's not for the faint of heart, though. Amen. But as intercessors, if there's any kids in room, I would say that maybe this is like a PG-13 video. Y'all have just big kids, it looks like. I just got a bunch of big kids in here. But he was preaching about Jezebetham,
Starting point is 01:44:37 her very last acts that she did was that she put makeup on. And he correlated that because then she was killed, right? She pushed on a window, I believe. But he said the enemy, like Jezebel loves to dress up evil. Loves to take, put makeup on sins. Anyways, I'm going to let this video do this speaking. It's a little radical, but as prayer wars, we need to know what we're up against so that we can reveal the truth. Amen.
Starting point is 01:45:04 Listen, we have to expose the truth. It's like putting lipstick on a pig, right? It's ugly. Still plays in the dirt. So can you guys please describe the images that are from the music video for makeup? The one you can't find online. Someone's being like interrogated. That's go to be handcuffed.
Starting point is 01:45:22 Yeah. I see. And there's like a masked man who seems to be interrogating him. We have a lady who's just sticking her tongue out and she's like wearing this very tight shirt that says God is trans. That's presumably being, you know, put in for a negative. Yes. We have a drag queen making some sort of, is that like, you know, when they do like the student speeches at Harvard? It looks like it.
Starting point is 01:45:45 Something like that. Like addressing a crowd of people with the lectern is a drag queen. Oh, my Lord. Then we got the Joker, of course, behind Danny Goki. Yes. Danny Goki is slamming his fists against the table, his handcuffed fist. Oh, it's like the dark night. Wake up.
Starting point is 01:46:02 And then it's a good thing you got that picture when you did, Jack, because those, demonic clown figures weren't on screen very long, and they vanished suddenly. I assume that's AI generated. It looks a little... I think he actually had people for this one. I'm not sure. I do feel like the clowns might have been AI generated, though, due to just how clean those lines are.
Starting point is 01:46:24 But I do think that the goddess trans person looks like a very fun person to hang out with. Yeah, I think so. So this music video is one that he only shows live and only shows in very specific situations. I couldn't find any real mention of it online. So it was interesting. Special treat. A special treat. I can confidently say that these people have wasted their lives. Tomi Arioni, who he mentioned as the prophet that inspired this music video and song, was arrested in Nigeria for his political prophecies. I feel very confident saying that the fact that Ariomi was arrested for political prophecies is probably a bonus for Danny Goki because Goki put his own career on the line for the new Apostolic Reformation
Starting point is 01:47:11 affiliated Doug Mastriano by playing at his inaugural campaign. Friend of the pod, Doug Mastriano. He has also publicly supported Trump through his campaigns, impeachments, and calls against stolen elections. But putting all of this far off to the side, there was something particularly interesting about Danny Goki. And it's something that I discovered when reading about him after this event. And that is that he had. gone on the record to the press that he suffers from the mental illness of scrupulosity. Are any of you familiar with that? No. So scrupulosity is a particular flavor of OCD where you become
Starting point is 01:47:49 utterly obsessed with being religiously pure. You feel deep-seeded, unassuageable guilt that you have done something that makes God hate you and you have to make up for it. It is one of the, you know, kind of stranger ways that this mental illness can manifest and I know somebody who has it and I've seen how much it can derail a life. So I have to wonder like how much is Danny Goki's passionate religion and turn to this far right, the manifestation of him trying to assuage himself of this mental disorder because on the far right, you are surrounded by people constantly telling you you're right and cheering you on. Yeah, I didn't think about how much worse OCD could be, if not viewed through like an atheist lens, but particularly like one
Starting point is 01:48:38 where sin is involved in this particular way. Yeah, with scrupulosity, it can turn into like you self-flagellating yourself either, you know, mentally or literally over saying a curse word, such as crap. So I was starting to wonder like how much of all of this is people just giving into pathological impulses. And, you know, that's something that just doesn't really get talked about a ton when it comes to these kinds of displays of hyper-religiosity. Yeah. It's a good question with the right in general is how much of it is neurosis, because they're a neurotic bunch and like very publicly.
Starting point is 01:49:15 So guys, what have we learned here today? I think God is dead. Probably. That's a main lesson. Not trans, just dead? No, yeah. She died. Oh, God, I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 01:49:28 Did she get COVID? She's to get COVID, yes. She wouldn't like stand chair or whatever. Yeah. You know, Trey and I have been thinking a lot about what we experienced, you know, over these two days. You know, what messages we heard, what the general themes of it all were. And I came away from it feeling like we had witnessed a birth, essentially. You know, something new.
Starting point is 01:49:54 Through the victory lap came the new calls for action, the new feeling that something had just begun. and the seeds of a revolution were beginning to be sown among the newer generation. But that could just be wishful thinking on the part of IFA, given the demographic of the leaders who we witnessed. Yeah, I learned that it seems like the people associated with this organization are very self-conscious of the fact that their movement and their way of viewing the world doesn't really have much of a future if they can't get young people on board. and their prayers and their expectations that, their prophecy, that there will be a youth movement involved with, you know, Christian dominionism.
Starting point is 01:50:36 Seems to be, I don't know, wishful thinking. And it feels like they're kind of like, yeah, their desperation, I have to say, is kind of hopeful in my view. Obviously, there's lots of threats from the far right. But this particular flavor of it really does seem like a retiree pastime. And that's what I would agree with is the desperation in the fear. I think of the two things I'm really walking away from the weekend thinking of. They realize that this movement is deeply unpopular. They realize that this movement has a figurehead who doesn't seem to be long for this world.
Starting point is 01:51:11 They don't have anything on the bench. They don't have anybody ready to step in and take him. They can say it's J.D. Vance, but they barely talk about him throughout the whole weekend, other than in passing, probably because he's now Catholic. They talked more about Mike Johnson than J.D. Vance, but Mike Johnson has, I believe, a negative amount of Riz, is the kids say. Trump, for all of his faults, was at one point, a dynamic speaker and leader. Mike Johnson is not that.
Starting point is 01:51:39 And I don't think anybody is really going to rally at the cause of J.D. Vance. They might have had Charlie Kirk, but, as we all know, September 10th. 910, 910, 910. What do they got left? I will say that it was particularly interesting, seeing what a huge reality. reaction there was to the talk of September 10th, you know, and the memory of Charlie. And I'm still surprised that that hasn't been better utilized. You know, that that hasn't been, you know, more overall effective, you know, in rallying younger generation. Yeah, they really overplayed their hand.
Starting point is 01:52:15 Yeah. To the point that people just found it kind of annoying. And then it became a thing like, well, you can make ironic memes out of this. What if we put Charlie Kirk's face on like a certain rapper? Isn't that funny? Like, I just sick and tired of hearing this. guy about this guy he's a laughing stock they've turned him he's been turned into a laughing stock and that's what he got for being like murdered horribly like a situation in which most other people would have sympathy for you well yeah i mean i think what turned him to a laughing stock was the immediate attempt to canonize him there's immediate backlash that says absolutely not they're going to be lots of people who is like they reacted to that attempt to you know not just have this kind of weird state and force canonization of
Starting point is 01:52:56 him by being as maximally disrespectful as possible. And the other thing with his canonization, and this is what happened with Martin Luther King Jr., is at least we can look back on him and say, he had the letter from the Birmingham prison. At least he had the I Have a Dream speech. When you look back at Charlie Kirk's written output and his speech output, he's got nothing you actually want people to hear if you're trying to say he's a good person. Like one of the biggest takeaways for me in terms of giving hope was how utterly terrified
Starting point is 01:53:26 They are of Mamdani and what's happening in New York. And Cindy Jacobs literally saying that we're only one election cycle away from annihilation. She was very, very afraid of what might happen at the midterms, what might happen at the actual ballot. So, you know, if we're not appropriately biblical in the boardroom, the bedroom, and the ballot box, well, good things might happen. Yeah, I hope they continue to lose. Yeah. It is going to be interesting to see the cultural reaction to the midterms. I think this is like the boomer-coded right-wing kind of form of hysteria.
Starting point is 01:54:02 You know, the zoomers, the Gen X-X will have a different response because it does seem like, it's not only like catastrophic for the Republicans, but like the Dem Socialist kind of DSA model is starting to kind of pick up steam, particularly in cities that have like some sort of calming corridor now. But it's a good point, right? because they're seeing Mondani actually do stuff and actually be a politician that isn't about identity politics, really? I mean, he's just at the core. He's just kind of fixing small things that are making big impacts across the city.
Starting point is 01:54:36 And it's hard for your average person to look at that and go like, oh, like, he's kind of actually just trying to make sure seem like a little bit better for your average person. And that's it. That is a dangerous. That is a dangerous person to somebody who is like, you know, who's an extreme, you know, Christian. I'd give a lot to have somebody come around and actually fill in the potholes around me. Yeah, same, same. I drive the streets and I drive, I drive around Los Angeles. I'm like, we're the, like, you know, we have one of the highest, you know, it's one of the highest earning states.
Starting point is 01:55:07 Like they, you know, they tax the shit out of people here. And like the city is falling apart. It looks like ass. There's so many potholes. The streets are shit. Nothing's paved. It's like, what are we doing with all this money? I mean, yeah, it is amazing that the far right hasn't figured out that you could basically get everyone on board with you if you're just a minimally functional administrator.
Starting point is 01:55:28 Yeah, that's, that is, that is a threat. Minimal functionality is a threat for people whose entire ideology is faith-based. The other thing I'll point out is that even if catastrophe does strike the right in the midterms, they will be unable to believe it because it was prophesied that they will win. And this is something that I wish we had talked a little bit about last time as well, but these people are true literalists with everything they believe. They truly believe Cindy Jacobs is a general leading troops in a spiritual war against demons that are ruling over princes and principalities here in America and the world. They believe in territorial demonic possession. They believe that the only way to fight that is with a battle of the spirit, and they think she is one of the people who is leading that battle. And there was a lot more militant-coded language that we heard over two days.
Starting point is 01:56:29 We didn't get a chance to get to. But this was a martial event. This was a troops returning home victory parade. It was a Super Bowl victory parade. It was whatever you want to see it. They got a huge victory by getting Trump to declare a day of rededication. on biblical principles on May 17th. And this was just the Victory Lab.
Starting point is 01:56:50 The kingdom of heaven is on earth, and it is the United States. So don't worry. As long as it doesn't fall, we're fine. Yeah, make heaven crowded, I guess.
