Quorators - Battle Strength w/ Ryan Ciecwisz

Episode Date: July 21, 2025

Comedians Clare O'Kane, Alex Ptak, and Jeremy Kaplowitz explore the mysterious land of Quora.com to answer life's questions. This week's questions include: Are Virgos good at fighting? I would like yo...u to guide me in martial arts without any pretensions. How can I know if I am on equal footing with my opponent in a street fight in simple terms? If a car weighing 3,000 lbs had a bar on the roof, and a strongman was above the car, can he lift the entire car up off the ground (no part of the car still touching the ground) with his hands, even if it's around an inch or so, briefly? --- Follow Ryan on Instagram @ https://www.instagram.com/ryanciecwisz/ Get even more Quorators when you support the show @ patreon.com/quorators Send quoras and qommunicate on our discord discord.gg/7pPYuKuYCr Watch the show @ youtube.com/@quorators

Starting point is 00:00:00 Too hot. Oh, well, save that for the show. It's part of the weather report. The fact that it's hot? Yes, the weather report. It's Quarators. And you're back at Jeremy's house for another week of Quarators,
Starting point is 00:00:27 America's premier Quora-based podcast with Alex, Jeremy, and Claire. Hello. How's it going, Alex? Oh, quite well. And you? I'm all right. I'm charmed. Well, this week's Quora weather report, it's too hot now.
Starting point is 00:00:42 It's way too hot. Alex had to change his shirt. Yeah, I brought two shirts because I knew I was going to fucking strip through the first one, just blast through it with a gush from 10 minutes on a bike. Alex, you're a sweaty guy. Yes, that's true. This is something I learned about you. It is known.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Now it is known. Yeah. It's kind of my Game of Thrones plot twist. It doesn't come up much in podcasting, I've found. I haven't had a lot of people come up to me on the street and be like, you were sweating too much for that last recording. People come up to you on the street a lot, though, about your podcast. They do, and I'm sick of it.
Starting point is 00:01:15 In Park Slope. If you see a celebrity, let them go. It doesn't matter how much they sweat. Maybe you see me. Maybe you see the ghost of DMX. Just mind your business. Damn, I forgot he's dead. Shout out.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Somebody recognized me from this podcast. Really? At a bar in Bed-Stuy. See, you act like it can't happen, can't you? But I think it was from my voice. What's up, Ryan? I said, I hope this happens to me. It's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:01:39 It's actually going to happen. It's going to be a greater spump. More of a curse than a blessing. Did they recognize you by your feet? Because I feel like that's a big part of your presence at this point on the podcast. I know those feet. I know those hogs. What did I try to say?
Starting point is 00:01:53 Hogs? Hogs? I think hogs. I know those hogs. I know those hogs. Yeah, I think of my voice. I was like talking to him for a while and he goes, wait, your name's Claire. Wow, that's huge.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Oh my God. Are you Jeremy's wife? You must be Jeremy's wife. If you're a new listener to the show, Jeremy's wife has the same exact name as Claire. Anyway, we got a hell of a show for you this week. We got a big comedian all the way in from New York City. This is a first of a kind here. We're very excited to have him in.
Starting point is 00:02:25 you may have seen him on the hit show Abolish Everything where he was taking it to the system. We have Ryan Seawiz here. Ryan? Thank you for having me. Thanks for coming on down. You're a man of the internet. You love going on there and
Starting point is 00:02:41 interacting with the mods. You ever been on Quora before? I have been on Quora. I was really big into Yahoo Answers back when that was a thing. Were you questioning or answering? I was answering. I was answering, but then I stopped because there was literally, literally there was one question that was like, is it better to be overdressed or underdressed for an event?
Starting point is 00:03:01 And I said, it's better to be overdressed. And then someone responded to that and said, overdressed? You could tell that a fashion priss wrote that. Whoa. Fashion priss? And that was the end. That was the end. I said, no more.
Starting point is 00:03:14 No more. I removed my three-piece suit there at the desktop. So you are now established as a fashion priss. If you're watching the show right now, Ryan is wearing a t-shirt and jeans. Well, I will say that you do look like Casey Salingo if you had a job. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Oh, thank you. So kind of if he was a priss. You don't hear the word priss much, I think, is what's getting so much longevity out of this for me. That's kind of what made it stick with me, too. That's the only time I've ever been called that. Prissy. That was like a nicer time in the internet, though.
Starting point is 00:03:49 I feel like now, like on Twitter, if you had that conversation, they would just send you your address back to you. Yeah. Yes, with a picture of, like, a gun. Right, so that you know about guns. Yeah, this is what a gun is. I just feel like it's worth establishing
Starting point is 00:04:02 that Ryan is not, like, in a three-piece suit, because sometimes you do get comedians who are like, I can only perform when I'm at the Met Gala. Name names, Alex. Well, Alan Strickland-Williams does that. Oh, okay. Paul F. Tompkins does that. John Mulaney had an arc where he only wore suits.
Starting point is 00:04:20 I once had to drive Paul F. Tompkins around as a sketch fest when I was volunteering Was he like hunting someone? No That was a dangerous game I picked him up from a show
Starting point is 00:04:31 and then I dropped him off at his hotel and he was with a group of people in my car I'm driving them around they're like talking about how people don't dress well enough on stage as stand-ups and like how everybody dresses like shit
Starting point is 00:04:44 and they're a bit They look like a bum They were being very prissy about it I should say They were being like pretentious and it really kind of bummed me out. Well, honestly, like, that's what a fashion priss is, is he was accusing you of being Paul F. Tompkins,
Starting point is 00:04:56 which in many cases is a great compliment. So that's kind of what we're talking about here. I don't personally feel the urge to dress in a three-piece suit, but that's also mainly, and we were addressing this before, I just get too hot. I get too hot, it's not going to look good. What do you think about that? I feel like a worm, like a slimy slug worm.
Starting point is 00:05:12 We did an episode with you in a suit once. We did. And I got very hot. It was kind of nasty. Was it filmed? Yeah, it was filmed. I was doing like a promotional Kickstarter video at the end where I needed to be in a suit. So without explanation, I was just wearing a suit for the bonus two episodes of Quarriors in a row.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Do you guys wear shorts on stage? Yes. Not usually, no. I insist. It depends. I mean, like, I don't have a problem with it. People have problems with it. I know.
Starting point is 00:05:40 It's strange. If it's like 95 degrees outside, I'm like, what do you want me to be soaking wet up there? You want me to have swamp ass? It's also like we're here at this largely unpaid talent show. I don't think you have a reward to hold over my head with a dress code. Go to hell. Anyway, I got a little mad there, but we're going to move on past that. This week's theme is battle strength.
Starting point is 00:06:05 I could not think of an organic phrase that kind of combined these two words, so we made a new one. Ryan, do you ever fight? No. Okay. Me either, really. Most people don't It is illegal
Starting point is 00:06:19 So keep that in mind Try to avoid doing it Fighting is absolutely illegal What if you're defending a woman's honor I still don't think you could do it Because then it's assault Unwanted touching is assault What if you're defending yourself
Starting point is 00:06:33 If you're defending yourself I'm sorry I got distracted by the TV thing If you're defending yourself that's okay But the other guy is then breaking the law That's the whole thing about the defense part Is that somebody broke the law So somebody's always breaking the law. Yeah, someone's always breaking the law.
Starting point is 00:06:51 I guess if you go like, there are apps for this, like hookup apps for fighting where it's like fighters in your area and you go meet in an alley and slug each other. That's actually okay as long as no one. Is that real? They're a real thing? Yeah. It's like sexy singles in your area now?
Starting point is 00:07:06 Yeah, real powerful warriors in your area. And you go find them and you beat the hell out of them. Alex is just very confused about what field is. He thinks it's for fighting people. In my experience, you go and you just finish the thing. They are sort of hitting each other on there for sexual purposes. You have any stories about that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:29 Not for now? But not for now. Not for now, okay. Because someone's got to fix the TV. Jeremy's watching like Disney Plus on here or something. If the TV keeps not working, I might share a story. My TV is so broken. It's getting worse and worse.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I just need to get a new one, but I've been too lazy. Have you heard of liquid nails, Ryan? My TV screen fell off. No, I don't know what that is. It's sort of glue. Okay. My TV screen fell off, and I had to use liquid nails. It's a fancy name for glue.
Starting point is 00:07:59 But now you can kind of, this isn't interesting at all, but you can see when the screen is working on the right, there's like a bunch of jizzy-looking glue on the side of the screen at all times. It got glazed. Which is really exciting. Anyway, I'm going to have to plug in the HDMI because it's taking too long. Don't worry about that. But anyway, if you have any great stories about fighting people on from field.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Yeah, that would be the time. There was a guy. There was some, but there's no way he'll ever listen. Yeah, it's legally bulletproof. I will be your lawyer in a court of law. You're legally bulletproof. I've been trying to, like, not share so much about my life. Oh, you've been doing a bad job.
Starting point is 00:08:39 i know surprisingly i am like telling less than i normally do but because i live such a um uh on the edge lifestyle i'll tell you the story about a guy who i met on field who went his his nom de plume was nipple lover okay oh we've heard about this guy you've heard about nipple lover wait have i talked about we all have the t-shirts yes i think we did like a long time okay sorry Forget it. No, it's okay. I was going to talk about the guy who hit, but I don't want to do that.
Starting point is 00:09:10 That's fine. For reasons we were discussing before, maybe actually a tenuous character. Well, shout out to Nipple Lover. I believe you talked about him on our bonus episode. Oh, yeah. This is all stuff for the bonus episode. That's what it is.
Starting point is 00:09:23 If you pay us money, you could hear about this guy who loves nipples. Who's the nipple despiser? Everybody does kind of like nipples. I agree with that. I think there are people out there, like, serious, like, vegans. Vegan guys. Because they, like.
Starting point is 00:09:40 Because mama's milk comes out. Because they giveth the milk. Well said, Claire. I won't drink breast milk because I'm vegan. There's no breast milk in this, right? I'm vegan. This week's theme is battle strength. And we'll be starting with our space of the week.
Starting point is 00:09:58 A guy who, like, really doesn't want to eat pussy. And he's like, I'm vegan. so I can't go down on you. Yeah. I won't eat meat. I just know I'm going to munch it all up. This is our Space of the Week. Space of the Week.
Starting point is 00:10:16 I love when the computer, the TV doesn't work because then I get to lean in and go really far. This week's space is Return to Street Survival. One of our favorite spaces. We end up back on here,
Starting point is 00:10:26 I would say at least once a month. It has the most knowledgeable street survivalists. It teaches you how to learn to be safe and prepared no matter where you are in any city or slum. This is the question. What is one-on-one fighting formula in our reality? Interesting.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Okay, so what does that mean? I think what they're saying is like, okay, so I train every day at the dojo on how to do a one-on-one karate duel, but in our reality, when I'm in the street with street punks, what are the odds that I'm going to be able to use these skills?
Starting point is 00:10:54 Now, that's written very poorly, so I'm not sure that's what that's saying, but that's like the most charitable interpretation of this question. I agree. Finding formula. I think it might be a guy who's playing a lot of video games
Starting point is 00:11:05 and he's doing combos and he wants to know how to bring that into real life. He wants to know if he can do the Kazama 10-hit combo in meat space. Well, he wants to know what's the opening move
Starting point is 00:11:17 in real life. Yeah. What's the best opening? Sure you can. Sure you can. Sure you can. Quarter circle forward and then heavy punch.
Starting point is 00:11:29 And we're all very impressed. Now, anyway, I didn't quite get it right, but I'm not confident enough in the inputs. Anyway, the point is, I think you can use all that stuff. The one-on-one fighting formula is just whatever you've already been working at. I'm no expert in street survival myself. I'm just a lowly artist and professor of sorts. You survived this long?
Starting point is 00:11:51 Yeah, on the street. No one's killed me yet. Did you ride your bike here? I did. And I did almost hit a truck. this is an answer from a guy named nick uh who whose bio says uh passionate about all things security cool hey do you read this guy in field i also think he might be like an ai generated image but i don't know this looks i think that's just what white people be looking you know what white
Starting point is 00:12:15 people do be looking like i have three cousins who are nick anyway he says sorry bub but there's No formula for fighting. Humans aren't static creatures, nor are we robots. I love that. Nothing we do naturally is scripted. You shouldn't be fighting anyway. That's for animals and children. You went Wolverine mode on this guy.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Holy shit. That does sound AI. If you call me Bub, I've got to leave the internet after this. I'm recovering from that. He capitalized the B in Bub. Yeah. So, yeah. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:12:48 So, you know, it's a name. Yeah, it's a proper noun to him. It's not just a word. Fighting is for animals and children. You're passionate about all things security. You're the animals and children. Yeah, how can you be passionate about security but not... How can an animal be passionate about security?
Starting point is 00:13:06 He's a security officer who argues his way out of every problem. Yeah, he's got the dialogue skill. He can convince anyone to leave the club. An intellectual soldier. John says, describe your reality. that's a fine follow-up. Sure. Wait, go up.
Starting point is 00:13:24 There's an answer from Master Robert Kopischke. Where does he master? The bottom. Oh, you're right. Master Robert Kopischke is the founder of Waitet Dragon Combat System. Okay, go off, Robert. He says the reality...
Starting point is 00:13:37 Kopischke. Kopischke is his name. Although it is all caps in a way. It's like, is this an acronym? I don't think it is. Is this an acronym for being Polish? Read it. The reality is that fighting is unpredictable
Starting point is 00:13:50 and stupid it should be avoided whenever and however possible nobody wins a fight one person walks away with fewer injuries the only one uh only way to be the one to walk away if a fight is completely unavoidable is to respond to an attack with overwhelming violence whoa and that's uh that's master robert kapischke signing off white hat dragon combat i love how level-headed everyone in this thread is no one is um you know milking the violence dragon well um what could overwhelming violence why that's
Starting point is 00:14:20 sort of like constant slapping have you read Ender's Game kind of like the stuff that happens in that you have to get all naked
Starting point is 00:14:30 and cover yourself in soap basically Kapishk can I just say Master Robert Kapishk is absolutely a suits on stage guy yeah
Starting point is 00:14:36 just from the one picture we have of him he's fully Paul F. Tompkins mode on that you can kind of tell he's kind of yoked because he's
Starting point is 00:14:41 he looks great I wish I was him neck is busting out again I would love to have one Sordid Knight with any of these fine fellows. Jeremy's just on Google doing something now. I tried looking up
Starting point is 00:14:53 Whitehead Dragon Combat System, which Google really doesn't like me searching. It wants me to search White Dragon Combat. Maybe it is White Dragon Combat System. But that one is unrelated to... That seems like maybe some sort of D&D thing, rather than specific to Robert Kapiszka.
Starting point is 00:15:09 Go to his profile. Go to Robert's profile. Yeah, there's not too much on there. His job is Headmaster, which is really good. That's a really good job. That's the one you want to get if you're a master. I'm going to follow him.
Starting point is 00:15:21 I'm going to start sweeping the floors until I get up there. You don't know that you're actually training yourself. He has 560 answers but only one question because the master doesn't talk until he's asked.
Starting point is 00:15:32 He also does not like the Jaden Smith Karate Kid movie. His response is, what don't you like about the movie? He said, because it sucked. Yeah, he's mostly talking about the Karate Kid show and movies. Yeah, he's talking about a decent amount of, if you're feeling jacked up, should you start a fight?
Starting point is 00:15:53 Which is a great question. And he says, no, that would be nothing but trouble for you. Only a fool starts a fight. If you're feeling jacked up, go do some breathing exercises or work it out in the gym. Master Robert Kaposchki. This guy is so level-headed. I love him.
Starting point is 00:16:07 What is his combat system? That's what I tried Googling. This is unfortunate because the thing that you got to understand, Ryan, is Quora's search pretty much is useless. Right. Wait. This question,
Starting point is 00:16:19 do you prefer black people to leave you alone? And he answers, if I did, Jamaica wouldn't be my home away from home. That's so true. Smallest victory.
Starting point is 00:16:29 Yeah. You got capished. He's broke. Ryan, you ever get in a fight street? I've been in one fight. It was when I was like six years old.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Children and animals. Yeah, children and animals. So I'm abiding by uh robert's uh mythology mythology um but i was like we were playing like pickup football and for some reason this this like looking back i i i slapped this guy across the face just because i was like this is funny this will be he'll think it's funny and i do that he did not think it was funny children often have this dynamic of like i think a slap could really be received well yeah Well, yeah, slapstick, something.
Starting point is 00:17:11 So I was like, okay, this will be like wacky. And then like, and then I immediately after doing it, seeing the look on his face, I knew like, all right, this, this, that was the first joke I've bombed. Do you have any brothers? No. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Yeah. My sister would, would wail on me a little bit. She put me in my place. But yeah, he just, he, he, he jumped on me. I was like, all right, this is, this is what I get. I don't know where this is coming from. Yeah. What are you doing?
Starting point is 00:17:39 I thought we were doing Three Stooges. I used to hate when the worst middle school violence was when the guys would hit you in the back of the knee kind of thing. That sucks. Oh, I don't like that. I hate that. And getting tabletopped, which we have discussed. I hate getting tabletopped.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Kids are mean. It's not funny just because I'm tall to knock me on the ground lowly like a tree. That is funny. This one kid in middle school used to always get my ass by he'd go up to me and go, you have a boner. And I'd look down and go, what? because I thought it looked like I had a boner. And then you'd go, oh, you don't know if you have a boner?
Starting point is 00:18:12 And then everyone would laugh at me. During that time, sometimes you just don't know, too. Sometimes you're middle school and look down, uh-oh. Hey, everyone, Jeremy's sensation isn't what it should be. Ha, ha, ha, ha. That's right. I had a medical condition. Yeah, I have child ED.
Starting point is 00:18:30 There's nothing to joke around about. That would suck. Jamaica's probably way from home. um anyway i love this guy oh it's like to have boners all the time oh sure i think it's great yeah i guess if your child ed is the other way around you have constant it's still dysfunctional it's like how you give uh adderall to people with add to make them focus you know right yeah yeah i think this guy's a really good life kapish kapish yeah he's in jamaica all the time he's invented the combat dragon style should we see if other people have asked
Starting point is 00:19:01 do you prefer black people to leave you alone or should we save that for our big race war episode We can't keep hyping it every week, Jeremy. I don't have enough stuff yet. People are going to lose their minds. You should save that for race war. Save it for race war. Because there are Australians in there saying some wacky stuff. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Save it for race war. One of our beautiful listeners, could you put that in our Discord? Because I've already closed it. Go find it. Find it, listeners. By the way, join the Discord. Okay, here's another question.
Starting point is 00:19:31 What is the best case of, quote, you just picked a fight with the wrong person that you've witnessed? So I noticed everyone who answered this question had a fantastic thing to say. Okay, so first of all, I feel like person is like the wrong word objectively here, right? I feel like you've never heard, it's so formal. It's guy. You just picked a fight with the wrong person. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:54 It should be guy. This is really a comment on the is guy gender neutral discourse. But I would like to answer this question and say Hillary Clinton versus Donald Trump. Whoa. She warned us. She picked the fight with the wrong person. She picked the fight with the wrong person. In this case, Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:20:12 Our 45th and 47th president. He's a person. He's objectively a person. I can't think of anything too exciting from my life, but every single answer on this is so good. We have one from Charles Kendrick at the top. I have not read this one. Read it.
Starting point is 00:20:26 He's a witness of strange events. If it's anything like all the other ones, I think it would be good. I had a friend for a while who went by Shin. Great start. that nickname was earned in part because he was a devotee of variant thai kickboxing where a key part of training is to make the shins into weapons that nickname was earned because he was a large godzilla uh when training as a kid he would repeatedly kick palm trees at maximum force until he felt little pain in the bone mass in front of his shin had thickened into plate armor
Starting point is 00:20:54 i saw him i saw him kick a parking meter in san francisco on a dare what who's daring you to kick a parking meter. No way will you kick that parking meter. That fucking sucks. Prove it to me, Shin. The metal pole rang and vibrated after his strike. If Shin felt any pain, he did not show it. Shin worked as a bouncer at a bar
Starting point is 00:21:16 club in Oakland. How long is this? Where the patrons were almost entirely black, mostly working class. One day a bunch of neo-Nazis showed up at the club wanting to brawl. They literally were bussed in. Oh, they came in on a bus. You thought they were bussed in? It took a second to
Starting point is 00:21:31 contextualist. Shin was at the door. 22 people went to the hospital that night. Shin was not among them. Well, I should say they were serving sort of a bad sushi and everyone got food poisoning. That's probably what happened. This is the best fake story I've heard in my entire life.
Starting point is 00:21:47 It has Chuck Norris vibes. It really does. I believe you have a friend who did Mai Tai, but the 22 people on the busted Nazi bar thing doesn't sound very likely. I've been trying to find work and I've been working part time as a bus driver for Nazis and they're so annoying.
Starting point is 00:22:04 They're always singing songs. They're doing 99 bottles of Heineken on the wall or whatever. There's a sign by the door that says, do not purge the bus driver. Let's go down. I like Shin. Big fan of Shin. I hope he shows up later in the theme.
Starting point is 00:22:23 This is from Alex. Not me. A different one. Read it. By the way, he was a former religious and is now secular. Jehovah's Witness. I had a judo teacher, Steve Reardon. People love doing full names on this fucking website.
Starting point is 00:22:38 He was my Mr. Miyagi and also my high school English teacher and about 60 years old at the time. Nice. Ooh, yummy. For judo, we used the same practice area as the high school wrestling team. The wrestling coach, Jim, was just a mean person and would hassle Steve all the time about inane things. Steve would brush it off.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Jim was younger, fit, and a former college wrestler. Steve was always taught that we would only use judo in self-defense. Judo, the gentle way. And judo, the art of hitting someone with a planet. What? What does that mean? That's what it's called. We'll find out later.
Starting point is 00:23:09 One day I was talking with Steve in an empty hallway when Jim came up and started yelling at him. Something stupid about practice schedules. Then Jim started poking Steve in the chest aggressively. Then he physically two-hand pushed Steve. I've never seen Steve move so fast. He grabbed Jim's arm, wrapped him up for a major outside hip throw, if I remember. Jim's whole body was up by one shoulder level
Starting point is 00:23:34 before being slammed into the floor, and you could hear the crunch and air rush out of him when he was hit with a planet, in quotes. What does this mean? Jim never did bug Steve again. Jim never did bug Steve again. Saying it's the art of hitting someone with a planet is like a Chekhov's gun situation.
Starting point is 00:23:51 A Chekhov's gun. in the first act you see a planet in act three Steve will throw Jim into the planet also it sounds like he really escalated from a poke into a full hip throw thing
Starting point is 00:24:05 shout out to Steve hip throw is ogoshi is the one arm shoulder throw judo does mean gentle way I've never heard the part about being hit with a planet shut the fuck up this is Edward Leahy
Starting point is 00:24:21 uh he studied at repone college lives in earth oh oh so if you see him around at earth uh you can you can tell him he doesn't need to be pedantic wait see we have a during the vietnam war story here yeah there's a vietnam war is this gonna be about judo somehow i'm scared he says i was drafted into the u.s army as the oldest and shortest white guy in my boot camp company being only five six i will say race comes into play here soon and i think in a way that maybe Oh, you know what? A bunch of things coming into play in a way. Maybe we don't want to read this one.
Starting point is 00:24:54 Yeah. It's a full metal jacket in this answer. Yeah. Oh, my God. You can go to the YouTube if you want to see that for yourself. Check out the Vietnam War. Vietnam War was so messed up. Check out Operation Phoenix.
Starting point is 00:25:10 Oh, never mind. I don't know why. Oh, wait. Never mind. I thought for some reason if I looked up this guy, Steve Reardon, and that it would be like Steve Weirden is a legendary judo master. And an English teacher. It's too many white guy names in a row.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Yeah, there's too many of them. I apologize to you, good Jeremy. Do you guys have any teachers who kicked ass? Not one. I don't think so. Oh, wait, I actually did. I had this teacher. I talk about this guy way too much on this podcast.
Starting point is 00:25:37 I had a football coach who was a health teacher in my school who we all had to call Coach Paz. And one time there were these kids fucking around, fighting each other or whatever. and he was so excited to beat these kids up and he sprinted from the school
Starting point is 00:25:51 to the football field and apparently tackled them both by the neck onto the ground and kept saying not today kids not today
Starting point is 00:25:59 that rocks I wish I was him yeah he was a crazy guy I wish I was him I wish I had his life he was always talking about his vasectomy that was his big thing
Starting point is 00:26:07 he would say I'm shutting down the shop that was insane I feel like teachers should not be talking about their cotton balls you cannot get pregnant by me
Starting point is 00:26:14 His name was Coach Paz. He was barely a teacher. Try as you might. Coach Paz got that vasectomy. We're totally safe to have intercourse with Coach Paz in terms of pregnancy. His big health tip was that he would tell us about the jiggle test, which is what he would do. He would get completely naked and then jump up and down in front of a mirror
Starting point is 00:26:35 and see how much he jiggles. And I talked about him on this podcast because he was eventually fired for saying the N-word at our school. That's the logical conclusion. It was a hard day after the jiggle test. Yeah. A lot of negativity swarming around there. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:26:54 Yeah, there's over 600 answers on this. Yeah, we don't need to read all of these. It's kind of hard to find. They're all really great. But if you want to have like a whole day on Quora, feel free to plug in this question because there's a lot of good stuff in here. Yeah, believe it or not,
Starting point is 00:27:06 a lot of people on Quora have been beaten up. Let's do the Quoker. Okay. This is a theme song that Alex made. Are Virgos good at fighting? What do you think? I don't know enough about astrology, I don't think. What's your sign again?
Starting point is 00:27:23 Me? I think I'm Scorpio. Yeah, he's deceptive. I'm an Aries, which is a fiery sign, and he's very passionate. I'm a Virgo. I'm a double Virgo, actually. This is why we had you in this week. Actually.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Lend some expertise here. So far from the one story you've told that does not seem as if you're good at fighting. What are the traits of a Virgo? Like your routine, I think. So I think I would say my gut answer would be no, Virgo's not good at fighting, but unless fighting is part of your routine, then they're fine. Then you'd be really good at it.
Starting point is 00:27:59 You'd do it every day. I think Virgos are very passionate about the things that they do. Or like Virgos really like, if they like music, they really like music. Oh, if they like fighting, they fight everyone they see. What's your sign, Claire? Pisces. Nice.
Starting point is 00:28:14 Ooh. Fish mode. I've gone fish mode. I'm interested to see the answers on this. I am kind of, I'm entertained by. Oh, yeah, strategic thinking. Virgos are also good at school. Oh.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Good for you. Were you good at school, Ryan? I was, but in such a way that I had to put so much effort that I'm like, I'm just a dumb guy. There's no way. I think that's what being a Virgo is all about. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:40 What is that? According to this guy... What is this shit? There's a doctor here who has listed the credentials of various astrologers. You bring this shit to me! Alan Leo apparently says they are detail-oriented. This is not helpful to me. Deven Forrest says...
Starting point is 00:28:58 The servant, the martyr, the perfectionist, and the analyst are all archetypes of the Virgo. And the virgin. The virgin, which is the symbol of Virgo, seeks perfection and freedom. This is not answering the question at all. But you would agree that April Elliot Kent says Virgo is an earth sign and earth signs are practical, resourceful, and reliable. I would agree with that. You would agree with that, at least.
Starting point is 00:29:20 All right, hold on. The AI bot here says that they're not good at fighting. It does not correlate to physical fighting skills. Yeah, you're too busy analyzing the reason for the violence. So AI is trying to train Virgos not to fight. being how I'm a Virgo I have to admit I'm the greatest fighter
Starting point is 00:29:38 anybody has ever seen problem is nobody has ever seen me let's look at Jerry what fucking riddle is this this guy is jacked okay Jerry is an old
Starting point is 00:29:47 jacked guy right I mean he's pro Trump no he is he's pro Trump of course he is he's contributed
Starting point is 00:29:54 to the top 200 greatest boxers of all time nice and bible questions to scholars saints and disciples yes one question
Starting point is 00:30:00 why is there such a level of black cultural violence in America today this has become the race war episode. Unfortunately, this is kind of like the hobbit to the race war episode, Lord of the Rings.
Starting point is 00:30:12 It's an important precursor that sets the stage. That's just what the website is. I don't know what to tell you. His answers to all these questions are in the form of questions. He's got a lot to say about the continent of Africa.
Starting point is 00:30:28 The point is that he's a Virgo who fights. Wait, I like this. question. How do I properly dispose of the numerous guns I was forced to confiscate from my conservative neighborhood? And then Jerry asks, who the fuck are you? Who the fuck are you? He'll kill you.
Starting point is 00:30:47 You took my gun. That's a question designed to make this guy mad. That was jackpot for him. Yeah, that was bait, dog. You fell for it. That was bait. Kind of like, something happened this week to him where he
Starting point is 00:31:03 is something with a black person and he's looking up a lot of stuff about black people. Yeah, these are from, like, Tuesday. He answered this question. My son thinks he is Adolf Hitler reincarnated. What should I do? And he says, send him to Germany. What a neutral answer that is. Is that positive or negative?
Starting point is 00:31:19 It's neutral. I guess he just thinks Germany needs him or something. Again? I don't know. That's just where Adolf Hitler goes. And he's got a picture of Bernie Sanders' house. There's a lot going on on this guy. I don't think we should read it anymore
Starting point is 00:31:36 just because he's a Virgo. He's a Virgo. I forgot about that. That guy gives us a bad name. We can move on to the next question. I feel like we've explored this. This guy Just Me says, let's find out.
Starting point is 00:31:49 I'm up for it if you are. So this guy says you can come fight him. That's from Just Me. A picture of a sunset. A beautiful account. Have you ever just woke up and felt nothing for your FP at all? It's like they never existed.
Starting point is 00:32:02 is his most recent question. Yeah, what's an FP? Is that like a cheating thing? I can't remember now. I remember we did an episode where we went on a bunch of cheating subreddits and they had all these acronyms for like... Former partner?
Starting point is 00:32:14 I can't remember. I kind of remember. Female partner? No. Forlorn? I don't remember. Person? There is like on Reddit.
Starting point is 00:32:24 Let me look. It was Reddit adultery. We are already way off text here. I think that's fine. Isn't he got a Simpsons character? AP, like alternate partner or something like that? Yeah, dude, I don't remember. I think just because it has an acronym, it's about adultery.
Starting point is 00:32:42 You're just remembering a different thing. No, the question is, if FP is like, let's say, your wife, and then your AP is the person you're cheating with, then this question makes perfect sense if that's what it is. I don't think that's what it is. Would you like to click it? Would you like to click it and get to the bottom of this? There's not any battling in it.
Starting point is 00:33:00 I'll tell you that. Well, he's battling his anxiety about his love life. Oh, I think it just means former partner. Oh, maybe some sort of narcissistic. Oh, no, it's about narcissism, yep. I did exactly that after six years of being with a narcissist and me having BPD just yesterday. I woke up, looked at him, and instantly got sick to my stomach.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Is it fucking partner? Someone says I'm not sure what FP means, but I have definitely woken up and realized that I was no longer in love. Okay, upvote for you, sir, because I don't know what it is either. And that's a comment from Top Shelf Crazy. Which is a great username. I think I'm right, and I think I will be vindicated when I go to heaven. I don't even know what we're doing anymore.
Starting point is 00:33:37 Could you please go to the next question? Fine, fine. Here's another question. Does getting hit make your body stronger, or are you a better fighter? Finally. I think it does. Tissue resilience. The AI bot is already trying to answer all these.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Why are you putting an AI bot into Quora? It kind of cuts off the need to have Quora. Yeah. You know, there's no community discussion if the AI bot is just stopping everybody from answering. It doesn't want you to get stronger is why. Because Quora knows that if its users become too powerful, who knows what they're capable of.
Starting point is 00:34:11 They're going to start questioning. The army of Quora users. How is that B? Can you respond to an AI answer? I don't think you can. No, you can't. No, you can't. That would be chaos.
Starting point is 00:34:22 I've seen a lot of videos of really strong guys where they have somebody punch them in the tummy while they do something. Have you seen those? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know if that's to cause swelling and then maybe make their abs more swollen. I think it's maybe just be like,
Starting point is 00:34:35 no way can you do a bench press while I wail on you like that. People definitely do it. I think if you want to be a good fighter, you do have to be able to get hit really hard. That makes sense. I'm also watching a lot of power slap. A lot of people can give it out
Starting point is 00:34:50 and they cannot take the slap. Ryan, have you heard of power slap? No. This is Alex's favorite TV show. It's Dana White's latest project. Can we please look up Power Slap real quick? I have an idea what it might be. Power Slap is a sport, quote unquote, where two-
Starting point is 00:35:06 This is like what you did to that guy that one day. Very large men just slap the shit out of each other until one of them has a concussion. I find it so disturbing I can't watch it. It's really fun. Alex watches it and just laughs and laughs. They have seasons of it. It's a reality show.
Starting point is 00:35:24 I like that they put talcum powder on their hands. Yes. cloud comes off. She can see it. That lets you know when the slap happens. It is dystopian. And they're all guys with really nice big cheeks. Really big cheeks you wanna slap. It's truly
Starting point is 00:35:40 something out of like a Hunger Games ripoff where like you watch it and the before part where they're all like if I win I'm gonna use this to pay for my daughter's medicine. She has cancer. And then they're like great. And then someone smacks them in the face. Until they fall to the ground and like shake.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Well, you only get one slap, but what I've learned from the show is it's a lot easier to knock someone unconscious with a slap than you would guess. If you asked me before I started watching Power Slap, can you knock someone unconscious with a slap, I'd say no. But actually, it's super easy. People do it all the time. This guy's name is The Hawaiian versus Dumpling?
Starting point is 00:36:17 They've fought two or three times. I've seen all of them. I really thought that this was a guy named Hawaiian Dumpling at first. No, his name is Da Crazy Hawaiian. Oh, sorry. Please put some respect on his name. He's one of the reigning champions. That's Barack Obama, you said?
Starting point is 00:36:32 No. His name is Da Crazy Hawaiian. Not to be confused with Da Hawaiian Assassin, who is in a lower weight class. But anyway, Da Crazy Hawaiian versus Dumpling was really disappointing because they're both like 400 pounds and then no one really could damage each other at all.
Starting point is 00:36:48 And it goes on for like seven rounds or something. I don't know, I'm looking at all these pictures of Donald Trump popping up. It's because you brought them up earlier, Claire, and the computer heard you. It's based on the other stuff we've been clicking, what they assume we want to see. You will need power to take a direct hit and stay strong.
Starting point is 00:37:05 All you've learned is how to take the punch, but not how to take prolonged punches. This is what I've been saying. Getting hit won't give you neither strength, stronger body, or skills in fighting. All you just learn is how to take a punch. It's not a skill, but it's more of a mental power that can be trained. That's from James Chen.
Starting point is 00:37:22 Mental toughness. who is a boxing coach and also a beautiful picture of a waterfall sort of waterfall also it's he's definitely an esl situation i don't think yeah i think he speaks he speaks mandarin he's actually a wise teacher of uh of boxing great thank you james chen i'm gonna move on to the other question this seems like a more juicy one if a car weighing 3 000 pounds had a bar on the roof and a strong man was above the car can he lift the entire car up off the ground no part of the car still touching the ground with his hands
Starting point is 00:37:53 even if it's around an inch or so briefly oh brother so okay he's standing on the car he's above
Starting point is 00:38:02 how is he above the car he above the car he's on like a ladder baby is he like swinging like trapeze style
Starting point is 00:38:10 his feet are hanging on a thing he's upside down he's reaching for the bar that's on top of this
Starting point is 00:38:16 3,000 pound car yeah I think so I don't it doesn't say anything about trapeze. What were you saying, Ryan? I'm picturing a Mission Impossible type thing where he's suspended by
Starting point is 00:38:27 something, some sort of crane or something. If he had a baby that was under the car... Then a mother could do it, for sure. She's even stronger than a strongman. I think the question from the way that it's phrased is, could a strongman deadlift 3,000 pounds for an inch?
Starting point is 00:38:44 For an inch? No. It's too heavy. 3,000 pounds? The answer is yes. Experts say that you should get this bar installed on your car as a safety measure in case a really strong firefighter has to pull you out of something. Now, if you're listening to the
Starting point is 00:38:59 show, it's important you understand Jeremy's using his lying voice. Where he spreads misinformation. The top answer on the question is from Malcolm Sargent, who's a trained chemist, and he says no, the world record deadlift is 1,105 pounds, which is still like
Starting point is 00:39:15 big. That was from June 14th though, so that was like a full month ago. So that might have been beaten by it might have been tripled is it can we watch a video of the world record deadlift or is that bad for podcasts yeah i don't think that's bad for podcast anymore we don't always need to look up a video of the first thing that comes to mind every question i just for my i just want to do that i just want to do that i think we should do i've been watching a lot of deadlift videos they're not very interesting well i want to see someone like the veins in someone's head
Starting point is 00:39:48 It almost popped me. Sure. All right. This is Halfthor Bjarnsson. Show me. I think he's... Is this not the mountain from Game of Thrones? This guy?
Starting point is 00:39:58 I think it is. No. I wasn't sure. That's why they picked him for the show is because he's a famous deadlifter. I don't know. It might be. I think he might be a DJ, that guy, too.
Starting point is 00:40:09 Okay. So we're looking at a guy who's... This guy does not look real. He looks like a drawing. It looks like a Rob Liefeld drawing. his head is so tiny he's so large he looks like
Starting point is 00:40:20 fucking photoshopped or something yeah this is from five years ago yeah he looks like a toy yeah well there's no
Starting point is 00:40:29 playing around with this strong man so he's got a very large bar and there's no car attached to it you'll notice again I've ruined our
Starting point is 00:40:36 YouTube algorithm with workout videos okay he's bent over there he goes he's getting his little feet ready now you can absolutely
Starting point is 00:40:43 destroy your spine doing this so it is kind of on the watch. Yeah, you got to do a jerking motion, right? Where you're just going to rip it up.
Starting point is 00:40:50 Put all the weight on your lower back. I'm about to jerk it. He's ready to go. He's so big, it's crazy. He's squatting and he's picking it up. The bar bends
Starting point is 00:40:58 when he picks it up. The bar is bending and it's so heavy. He did it. Wow, he really did it. And that was it. That's the video. Cool.
Starting point is 00:41:05 Did you like that? I did like it, actually. So you don't have to hold it even for that long? No, you just have to lift it up. It's a thousand pounds. It's really just the record of who can lift
Starting point is 00:41:13 the largest thing. So they don't really care for you. You don't have to do a pull-up or anything. Deadlifts aren't the most exciting to watch. I want to see Ryan slap that guy. I think you should have celebrities in power slap, but the thing is no one wants to do it so that won't ever happen. It should be like a punishment. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Like prisoners. If you did something really bad, you had to power slap your way out. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If we just round up all the criminals. Somebody's got to clean up these streets. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:46 And then, you know, Jason Statham's there, maybe, and he has to do it. Yeah. I would watch that movie. What I do is I slap people. I don't want to be a power slapper. I just want to run me a little shop. Here's a question from Red Pill Crusher.
Starting point is 00:42:02 I would like you to guide me in martial arts without any pretensions. How can I know if I'm on equal footing with my opponent in a street fight in simple terms? Oh, sorry. The answer here is from Red Pill Crusher. Right. Red Pill Crusher doesn't need to know that he's a professional musician.
Starting point is 00:42:15 He says in simple terms, you're not. You're a scrub. Plus, you should be avoiding street fights anyway. Gilling spree. Huh. I need to know about all of these people. Now, we could click on the question, but we are going to go right into Red Pill Crusher because he is somewhat of a diva.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Do we know who this is? Have we seen this before? Are you Red Pilled, Ryan? Yeah, actually. That's why I came on to podcast to get my show. You said you've had a breakup recently. you can't air people's dirty laundry like that i just want to know which pill he's taking i'm red pill for men blue pill for women which pill i don't know which pill do you think is nice i
Starting point is 00:42:53 think that's true yeah i don't think that's part of it yes it is it's do you like women or not red pill crusher i uh well like women like women yes they're queens okay so that's the blue pill Take the blue pill and go to the beach. That sounds blue as heck. Do you think if I search Red Pill Crusher, I could find this guy's music? No! Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Incel Intel. What's Incel Intel? That sounds like a space. Incel Intel is a space. Five contributors, three followers. This is nothing. Exposing the plague and offering support to those who wish to escape the prison.
Starting point is 00:43:25 Okay. He's reviewing the account, Sid the Proud Anti-Feminist and Proud Anti-Misandrist. misandrist. I think Red Pill Crusher is anti-Red Pill. I think he's crushing the Red Pill. I think you're right. I thought he was crushing it up to snort it, and then you can more quickly
Starting point is 00:43:41 take the Red Pill with your bloodstream. He's an admin of this anti-incel group. Oh! I think. That means he's gotta be a lapsed incel. But he's gonna fight me? He has questions like, why are conservatives obsessed with calling LGBT child
Starting point is 00:43:57 groomers? Okay, so he crushes the Red Pill but to throw it away. Yeah. Just because it's not safe to leave in pill form around the house. He's flushing it down the toilet. You might take it and think it's Tums or something, but it's the red pill. Then you get divorced. Well, the Matrix is all fucked up. Yeah, he's also in Street Survival and mastering guitar.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Shout out, Red Pill Crusher. I'm suddenly less interested in Red Pill Crusher. Yeah, we thought you were a red pill taker. Now we don't care. I want to know who asked this question about who's looking for a guide. Would you believe it brought us back to street survival? I can't believe that. We're still in street survival, huh?
Starting point is 00:44:34 We can't get out. This is S.S.C. S.S.C. S.S.C. He has questions like, based on the questions I ask, what would you guess my IQ is? Oh, no answers on that. Should we answer it? What do you think?
Starting point is 00:44:48 So some of his questions, he says, I always thought I was an autistic genius, that I was a genius in some areas like math and less talented than others. Based on my posts, do you think I really am that kind of person? or is it just a figment of my mind? I don't like these questions that are just like, do you like me? I'm on the fucking internet. Out of one to ten, how cute am I?
Starting point is 00:45:11 Do you like me? I like questions about the guy from Tekken, it looks like. I think this is a baby. Yeah, this is nothing, man. All right, then we'll leave him alone. This guy sucks, but he did ask a very important question about fighting him if you saw him on the street. And the point is, I can't fight a genius.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Okay. The question, again, is I would like you to guide me in martial arts without any pretensions. How can I know if I'm on equal footing with my opponent in a street fight? Well, we have an answer from Thunder Miller. Read it. Whoa. Thunder Miller says the simplest answer is feints and responses to feints. What is that?
Starting point is 00:45:44 What does that mean? Okay, so feints are like when you're swinging like a butterfly. You're swinging like a butterfly. When you're swinging like a butterfly? No, no. Is this episode listenable? No, no. You're buzzing like a butterfly
Starting point is 00:45:59 And singing like a bee You're swinging like a bee Flying like a butterfly Floating Floating like a butterfly Flying like Fly like a butterfly Sting like a bee
Starting point is 00:46:08 So when you You're flip You're flip Kiss like a dog When somebody goes to punch you Then you actually don't punch them And it's a feint Kiss like an uncle
Starting point is 00:46:19 Hug like a nephew So like a feint It's always important to do So if somebody like winds up and it's like why I oughta but then they don't punch you that's a feint.
Starting point is 00:46:30 That's not like a fake out. And that's like have you ever seen have you ever seen like a butterfly? Yeah. That's kind of what that's like. Excuse me for not having
Starting point is 00:46:38 you know Ali's top quotes off the top of my head all the time from our favorite guy the Fighting Ali. Sting like a bee. The first thing that happens
Starting point is 00:46:48 in most professional fights is an exchange of feints before any punches are thrown. If you want to know whether your opponent is adept at fighting Try a few feints and see if he responds by getting into a guard position and fainting back. I guess what bothers me about this is he puts a G in the word faint five times,
Starting point is 00:47:04 and I don't think one's in there. He seems like he knows what he's talking about, Alex. He's Thundermiller. He did it so many times, too. I am really questioning myself. I would be so scared to fight a guy named Thunder. Yeah, well, because then you're going to feel the lightning. If you have a son, would you name him Thunder?
Starting point is 00:47:23 Oh, me? Yeah, you have a child. You're looking around. The only one who will create life in this room. Yes, I would. Okay, great. What about Shin? Shin would be my second son after Thunder.
Starting point is 00:47:37 Provided he has many qualities similar to Godzilla. What a beautiful family. Did you see the shins on P-Tax? It's like plate armor. He kicked the telephone pole because I told him to. Now that my computer's on You can see the black jizz On the side of my screen
Starting point is 00:47:57 Doesn't it look like that? It's very faint I-G-E-N-D-S Yeah it's kind of like a B In the way it stings me Beautifully said Jeremy I forgot that all these questions Are fight related
Starting point is 00:48:08 And I was like Why are we reading so many fights? Yeah this week's theme Is battle strength It's battle strength This guy says Equal terms in a street fight LOL
Starting point is 00:48:16 Bro You got laughed at I gotta lock off after this I'm a 6'2 lean 225 pounds dude who has taken martial arts since he was 12.
Starting point is 00:48:25 Wow, he's having a real boyfriend. TSD, TKD, MT, BJJ, and now AKK. I don't know what those are.
Starting point is 00:48:32 BJJ is, I know it's blowjob Jerry, but I don't know what fighting it is. Avoids street fights at all costs. That's the first thing you learn
Starting point is 00:48:43 and it's drilled into your head from day one. If it comes to blows, I'm not going to be quote, fighting. I'm going to be causing
Starting point is 00:48:49 as much damage as I can quickly as quickly as possible with whatever is available until I'm in a position to escape. And this is a big, sexy guy. Is it? Yeah, he's six foot two
Starting point is 00:48:59 and 225 pounds. The picture is of a Bugatti, so we don't really know. This is the butt of a Bugatti. Yeah, you gotta show him the body and get in the Bugatti. His one question is, how is your husband
Starting point is 00:49:09 such an absolute hunk of a man? Wait, it has three answers. Do you want to see it? I sure do. Cal Thompson says, maybe not my husband, but a guy I'd like to marry, my crush let's name him sunny what the hell is his answer her bio is i've done my research on blm
Starting point is 00:49:27 what does that mean it's how she found her husband um because he is like the gloomy sunshine in the autumn to me he's five foot seven with blue eyes and brown hair and he's absolutely handsome but also adorable in a sense he looks like he couldn't hurt a fly and he truly can't but here are some reasons why he's a hunk one he takes sign language classes maybe the movie koenokatachi inspired him since it's an anime movie about a deaf girl who uses hand signs it's amazing of him nonetheless two he builds houses for the poor three extremely honest four extremely forgiving now based on what we know so far he may be jimmy carter because i know he builds houses he is 104
Starting point is 00:50:11 yeah i know he's learning sign language after watching the movie koe no katachi jimmy carter loves anime he's always loved it how to dare uh i don't know what that means uh he said he has a sorry there's more lists of why he's so handsome uh he has a very loving nature which surprises why he chose someone like me. He'd walk the world over for the ones he loves. He has a thing for dogs, like me. Now, I think that means that she also has a thing for dogs, not that she is a dog.
Starting point is 00:50:43 A lowly dog. Very good, Alex. And there are so many more that I forgot them, but Sonny is an absolute stud to me. I would love if my wife has written something like this about me on the internet. That would really make my day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:58 We're on her profile as Callum Thompson. and she says, it's nice to see you, chum. I like books and stuff. It doesn't look like she's been on here for a while. She really adores fruit. She knows about Black Lives Matter and dating. Cool. Good for you, Calum.
Starting point is 00:51:16 I don't know that Calum is a girl. Isn't Calum a boy's name? Calum. Calum. Calum. I've never heard this name in my life. I think it's a fake name. Maybe you're right.
Starting point is 00:51:24 Yeah, there's really no knowing who this person is, this mysterious Calum. That's beautiful. Is Callum talking about their husband or are they talking about someone they want to have an affair with? She said it was their crush. That's what I want to know. Apropos of nothing, I say answer to a question about someone else.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Yeah. I think the person who asked the question is a husband who maybe sent that to his wife or something to be like, hey, someone wrote this question about me. Do you want to read more of why is your husband such an absolute hunk of a man? I just do think it's odd that she's in love with this guy, Sonny, who she has a crush on but she says
Starting point is 00:51:59 it surprises her that he chose her but it sounds like it's not true. I think that's in her fantasy or his fantasy. Everyone loves their little fantasies
Starting point is 00:52:08 on this website. Everyone wants to escape into a world where Sonny chooses them. Everyone loves their hunky husband. Micah Moose says technically he's my boyfriend
Starting point is 00:52:17 not my husband but I'll answer anyway. We're not interested in marriage but are committed to each other for life. This is a long answer
Starting point is 00:52:25 of someone describing her boyfriend. Do you want to hear about how hunky he is or not? Not really. You don't want to hear about a real dreamboat? I'm sorry. Maybe the dreamboat set sail for some of us in the room. It's a little too upsetting to me.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Okay. Well, here's a paragraph two. It starts with, to be shallow, he's gorgeous. Long, shaggy, messy, wavy, dark hair, blue bedroom eyes. Tall enough for me to wear high heels, but not too tall that I'd have to stand on my tippy toes to kiss him. I think she's also describing Jimmy Carter. He's kind of a peanut farmer. He smells like peanuts.
Starting point is 00:53:02 He's not a big guy, but he hugs like a bear. He's a Democrat who can shake your dad's hand. Make your ass clamp. What did she say? He's the nation's response to Nixon. We don't have to read this. It's fine. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:19 Go to the next question. We're far off of battling, which I know everybody wants to talk about. Is it this related question? How do I get a white man as a husband? That's a really good question. Talk about something that sounds easy to do. With these snow apes. We really have time for like one more.
Starting point is 00:53:32 You know how these snow apes are. So do you have a specific one you would like to do? Slobbering for a mate. Alex, do you have any of these that you think would be the best one to do? Yes, I do. Which one is it? Here it comes. There's one I just wrote a strongman poem on that I am curious about.
Starting point is 00:53:51 Strongman poem. Okay, so this is not a question. this is in the space the law of attraction and secret and it shows a strong man unlock the hidden potential within your mind
Starting point is 00:54:01 he's like an army man I think this is a real photo it looks real I think he's all man he's in a sort of dank looking office maybe he's so jacked he kind of looks like
Starting point is 00:54:14 he's in the navy so maybe he's in a submarine maybe he's in a submarine he looks like Popeye if Popeye was like about to get ya Popeye oh my god
Starting point is 00:54:24 okay like read this read this poem alex okay you're the one who pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend threatening our lives and demanded i hand over my black burberry jacket you also went after her purse and earrings i hope you somehow see this message because there are a few things i need to say first i'm sorry for your embarrassment i didn't expect you to actually soil yourself when i drew my pistol after you took my jacket it wasn't that cold out and i was wearing that jacket for a reason whoa my girlfriend was relieved i'd come home safely for my second tour as a combat marine in afghanistan and she had bought me that kimber custom model 1911.45 acp pistol for my birthday and we picked it up a shoulder holster for it earlier that evening
Starting point is 00:55:14 you probably agree it's an intimidating weapon when it's pointed at your head Right? I'm sure it wasn't pleasant walking back to wherever you came from with ruined pants. Whoa. It must have been even worse barefoot. Because I made you leave your shoes, phone, and wallet behind. That way you couldn't call your buddies around for help
Starting point is 00:55:34 to try mugging us again. Afterward, I called your mother, listed as Mama, in your phone. That's so mean. So, okay, there's a lot more of this. But to be clear, so far the situation is this guy just got back from afghanistan he's with his girlfriend someone tries to rob him he was shoulder holsters shopping when it happened he pulls a gun it's the worst day puts the gun to the guy's head says take off your shoes give me your phone i'm calling your mom and he calls his
Starting point is 00:56:02 mama and he explains everything you've done then i filled up my gas tank and those of four other people at the station using your credit card that's just illegal the guy with the massive motorhome took 153 gallons and was pretty thrilled. I gave your shoes and all the cash from your wallet to a homeless guy outside Vinny Van Gogh's. Made his whole day. Can we look up where
Starting point is 00:56:25 Vinny Van Gogh's is? I am interested in Vinny Van Gogh's. I know I'm usually trying to focus, but that's a fascinating name. Okay, to continue. Then I tossed your wallet into the big pink pimp mobile parked at the car. After smashing the windshield, breaking
Starting point is 00:56:41 the side window and keying the entire driver's side. Well, now you're committing a crime, strong guy. Earlier, I made two threatening calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, hinting that President Obama might be my target. The FBI agent sounded very serious, and we had a
Starting point is 00:56:57 nice long chat, probably while tracing your number. I don't... Wait, what? This is what more stuff he did with the phone. This is taking a crazy turn. This is before or after the pimp mobile part, because I feel like you're on a timer with some of these. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:10 Well, we're almost at the end. In a way, maybe I should apologize for not killing you. Yep. But honestly, I think this kind of payback is a much better punishment for the crime you threatened to commit. I think this is worse than mugging. Parentheses, stealing my Burberry jacket. I hope you managed to sort out these sudden, urgent problems you're facing. And maybe, just maybe, you'll take some time to rethink the career path you've chosen.
Starting point is 00:57:32 Next time, you might not be so lucky. Credit to David Thomas. Who is the founder of Wendy's. I don't know about that. Yeah, the Dave Thomas. So this is not the strong guy in the picture? I mean, who's to say? This has 10,000 upvotes, I got to say.
Starting point is 00:57:46 It's upvoted by both Carl Vag and Ochesee Creek, who we follow. For some reason. Well, Carl Vag, obviously, because of his one name. His name is Carl Vag. I like this guy, Patrick Power. Patrick Power says, Fact or fantasy, still had a good laugh regardless. Wow.
Starting point is 00:57:59 Me too. I think this is worse than trying to mug someone with a knife. Yeah. But you can imagine this cool guy. This guy is pretty much like Jack Reacher. They pretty much invented Jack Reacher in this post. Also, the idea of calling the FBI and being like, I'm going to kill the president.
Starting point is 00:58:14 I swear to God. Sorry, I just left my wallet in a pimp mobile. No, I don't know what my name is. I'm too busy soiling myself. Okay, what is Vinnie Van Gogh? I think the most important part. My only criticism is that comedy rules of threes is soil yourself. Should have come back one more time.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Yeah, I think you're right. Oh, it's in Savannah, Georgia. It's in Savannah. Vinnie Van Gogh. Wait. A pizza restaurant. I hear there are a lot of off-duty Marines around there. Look what's nearby, Alex.
Starting point is 00:58:47 Wendy's. Whoa. Maybe it is the guy who owns Wendy's. Is Dave Thomas' Marine son? We heard about it later when people were asking him, what's your son up to? That looks like the worst piece I've ever seen in my life. What a fucking small business shout-out in the middle of this post.
Starting point is 00:59:07 I thought this was going to be like a chain or something. Me too. Why does it look so bad? This is New York talking, though. Look at their logo. Their logo is a guy, a chef who looks so mad. Oh, I see. I'm an idiot.
Starting point is 00:59:23 I was like, why is this chef so angry? Because he's got to eat that pizza. His ear hurts. He wants to paint. That's no pepperoni. Ew, look at that big chicken. All right, we can't just look at pizzas. It's not a podcast to look at pieces of pizza.
Starting point is 00:59:43 Okay, everybody look up Vinny Van Gogh's in Savannah, Georgia. Just how unappetizing every single picture is. It's at 317 West Bryan Street. I think it looks like a great place. You should go. I would love to work there and walk around. This is the worst looking pizza I've ever seen in my entire life. I'm telling you, dude.
Starting point is 00:59:59 Wow. And this is a video. This is a Hawaiian slice that just looks vile. There's just chunks of ham, too. If something's up with maybe the lighting in Vinny Van Gogh's, that's not... Again, please look this up. I don't like to judge a slice until I wrap my mouth around it. That one looks okay.
Starting point is 01:00:16 If we have a listener who lives in Savannah, can someone go to this pizzeria and tell us if it's any good? Come on. Check out the Van Gogh pizzeria. All right. Well, we're out of time here, so it's time to do our last segment. We're going to head on home. Is that okay?
Starting point is 01:00:33 Okay. if you want to this is for people who have sent us quora questions if you want to send us one you can send it at quarators at gmail.com these are questions from you and your life where is this question alex it's on the desktop howdy quarators i was just wondering where's your favorite water and hole personally after a long kettle drive in the hot sun i like a cool mountain fed river in the springs of tennessee y'all have a good night you hear stay cool let it finish did you listen to this beforehand yes i did i said that's a hit question thank you so much for sending that in there's no way i'm going to be able to top a uh you know a river
Starting point is 01:01:19 fed gulch in tennessee what was the question what's your favorite watering hole well maybe Maybe we should listen to the questions. I always got really distracted by the way the question was being asked. Some of y'all are never around a cowboy in his shows. You don't know how to act when a cowboy comes to saloon. You got a watering hole in mind? I can't think of one. I think it might be fun to drink some rainwater out of a horse hoof print.
Starting point is 01:01:44 Wow, that is a literal watering hole. Is watering hole for drinking or for jumping in? I thought jumping in. Or is watering hole a bar? A bar usually is, I think, what the question was. I don't know. I don't know. I'm also thinking...
Starting point is 01:01:55 Or it could be a hoof print in the sand as well. Those are the two things it could be. I don't know, man. I don't go down south that much. What's your favorite bar here? My favorite bar? What's your favorite bar? I don't think I have a favorite bar.
Starting point is 01:02:12 Is that crazy? The one where no one knows my name. I like to be... Do not behold him. So any bar. Jeremy hates to be perceived. Alex? Why don't you just go into the horse's hoof print?
Starting point is 01:02:23 That's a great bar for you. Do you have a favorite bar? Yes, I do. You actually do. I know you do. There's a place where they have Negronis in a nozzle that you always talk about. I do like the yummy Negroni in a nozzle, but that's kind of fancy for a bar. I'm not going to say that one because I'll get clowned on.
Starting point is 01:02:40 I think of a really cool one like the Shit Station or something. You ever go to the Shit Station in Bushwick? They got a whole jug of the stuff that you can gulp down. Do you have a favorite bar, Claire? Uh, you know, I just, uh, I went to a bar recently that I really like called or bar or bar and, uh, by the Graham stop. Is it a theme? The theme is like boats and oars.
Starting point is 01:03:03 No, it's just ORE classic bar. Oh, like a dwarfs, like mining bar and iron or yeah. That's really cool. What did you like about it? Oh, their music's good. They're playing, they're always playing weird criterion, uh, movies. Oh yeah. There's actually one I've been going to a lot at the, near the top of prospect park
Starting point is 01:03:23 that I can't remember the name of right now, but we went there once. What was it called? Me and You? Yeah. I don't know it. Oh, by Nighthawk or whatever?
Starting point is 01:03:31 No, the other way. Double Windsor. I do like Double Windsor as well. Good. I thought of one bar. I thought of one bar. Check out bars. Check out drinking.
Starting point is 01:03:39 Check out poison of all kinds. And stay cool out there, folks, because it's hot as hell. Jump in the hole. Jump in the hole. That's been Quarators for another week. Ryan, thank you so much
Starting point is 01:03:53 for coming on. Thank you for having me. Where can our listeners find you and your many works at home and abroad? You can find me on Instagram, TikTok.
Starting point is 01:04:01 I do a open mic at Alligator Lounge on Wednesdays. Hey, that's a fun watering hole. Yeah, that is a fun watering hole, yeah. You get a free pizza
Starting point is 01:04:09 when you're at beer. Yeah, that's true. And not to be confused with Alligator Alcatraz. Yes. No. He is not a guard at Alligator Alcatraz.
Starting point is 01:04:17 I hope the Alligator Alcatraz open mic is very grim. There's way too many comedians. A lot of comedy open mics, they don't have an audience. So it's nice to at least do one where there's people there. Usually one or two of them will laugh. I don't know why we even suggested that we're just having guards
Starting point is 01:04:35 at Alligator Alcatraz in here the week after it opens. The karaoke's pretty fun, though. It's a great time. Yes, if you would like more of our show, we have bonus episodes every Thursday on Patreon.com. We are supported by viewers like you, like PBS. We're pretty much the only way you can access Elmo and your child can learn. Do you think anyone's trying to put their kids in front of coordinators to learn?
Starting point is 01:05:02 I want my kid to kind of forget some stuff. But their kid is like, Mommy, what does it feel like to swim in all my clothes? And they're like, well, guess what? I know something that perfectly covers this. Patreon.com slash coordinators. Check it out. Check it out. Support your podcast.
Starting point is 01:05:19 What's that? Just making fun of the fact that I can't talk today. We're done. Okay, goodbye. Goodbye, it's over.
