Starting point is 00:00:00 I know we were just complimenting you for how yours sounds really good, but we're not doing that because we're dumb. Well, that's the real show. You know, it's a good show if it sounds bad. There's like, yes, yes. You know, it's just I don't know. It's an audio medium, but like no one really cares about the audio, right? Well, they want it to feel real. And life's audio isn't always that bad. So you want the audio and video to be bad. You want the host to not really have a grip on where they're going or what they're doing. Yes. Sometimes too much life.
Starting point is 00:00:29 The kind of losers who listen to podcasts don't know what they're doing either. That's right. Yeah, it's a place of unknowns. You can get broken up with by a girl and she has hard T and S sounds when it happens. Yeah. That hurts your ears.
Starting point is 00:00:44 It was close if she didn't have a pop filter. Yeah. And it pops you at the bubble of your world. I'm going to be plowing other guys. I'm hitting the theme song. Okay. And the only thing you can think about is, I wanted to EQ out the low end,
Starting point is 00:00:59 when she said that to me. All right, I'm doing it. I'm doing this song and I'm dancing. We'll start podcasting. That's incredible. He was ready. It's Quarators, lover. You came so prepared
Starting point is 00:01:22 or did you search that quickly? Yeah, you know what? I also, in the last like five minutes, I Googled the word Quora. uh interestingly the first thing that comes up is quora.com and you can't view it without having an account so i'm like oh fuck that so instead i was on r slash india tech where all these indian guys were saying quora really fell off huh that's pretty much the same website i will say though charles your um your very cool dancing emoji has made your camera extremely blurry yeah
Starting point is 00:01:51 pretty bad let's see what happens if i do this uh-oh it's just i think it was worth it okay if you're listening to the show charles had a a dancing girl image on his phone it was an emoji and alex thought it was a picture of a woman i thought it was a real woman and that she wanted me to help her charles had like a photo of a beautiful woman in a red flowing dress anyway he put it very close to the camera and it made him kind of look like you were looking at him through a foggy car mirror that's like a barbara walters interview right that's that's what you want to do when you want to be kind of schmaltzy. Like we can get really dramatic and emotional today and it would work.
Starting point is 00:02:32 We do want it to be emotional. Charles, welcome to the show and the listener. Welcome to the show. All of the hosts are here. Jeremy and Claire and Alex. That's all three. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:02:42 that's right. We don't have a fourth. Nope. That's all until today. We will be testing you to see if you can perform at that level, Charles, but we'll have to see. This is a very special episode for Quarators.
Starting point is 00:02:57 We have Charles from the Episode 1 podcast here today in the studio, live over Zoom.com. Charles, welcome to the show. Yeah, great to be here. Zoom.com. I hope I leave stupider than when I came here. I think you probably will. I'm glad that's the bar. Your mind is in the right spot, I would say.
Starting point is 00:03:16 I should ask you what the weather is in your current location, because we do like to open the show with a weather report. So I'm in Chicago. I haven't gone outside yet today, but I looked out the window. I think that it's not raining anymore, which is good. It's been raining so much the last couple of months. Summer rain. Hate that.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Yeah. And it's just so humid here. I guess it's maybe good for it to rain because it's going to be humid anyway. We might as well get the rain. Right. Kind of breaks that. For the crops. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Yeah, exactly. Big farming town, Chicago. I feel like the more that we talk about the weather on this podcast, the more I'm realizing that claire you feel sort of like cheated by rain in the summer like it seems to like make you mad i'm mad i feel like every time someone says it's raining in the summer you're like that's not how it's supposed to be you're jealous of our way i guess i am always mad at that yeah because you know summer time is for sun fun that's right and who gave this uh who gave you this idea was it your father if you were to unpack this where the summer rain comes from you're not licensed anymore
Starting point is 00:04:22 for this all right i am a certified personal trainer that's true did you get disbarred or something if you're not licensed anymore yeah i was disbarred when they found out i didn't go to school for any of that stuff it's illegal to try to do it but i will still be biting around the edges and kind of seeing what bits of Claire I can flesh out during the show. And that's something to look into today. In New York, it's quite hot again. Hot all summer long.
Starting point is 00:04:51 It's a hot season this summer. Check it out. The sun's out. I do think it's interesting, the idea that people's therapy problems could all be reduced to weather. What was the weather like when you were growing up? I should have stayed in. It's almost like astrology, but something to do with the
Starting point is 00:05:07 weather instead. But real. The realer. Do you ever think your mother would have loved you if you stayed inside that day in such unfair weather something to consider uh well now that that's out of the way i would like to explore the questions website quora.com what a landscape charles you're saying you've just uh been on quora for the first time today well it was difficult to get on without making an account i did get on there a little like i'm aware of it vaguely i guess my idea of quora is that like it's it's kind of like asking a chatbot something but if you want more psychosis from dumber people if you if you think like a
Starting point is 00:05:46 chatbot is too reliable to ask questions to this is where you go to get worse answers from people who are even less reliable than a chatbot their answers that are more human charles yeah yeah and humans are are dumb in their own specific way right yeah but also more true in their ways you do see a lot so the average quora user is 60 plus and uh honestly like i was thinking my guess was going to be that the average is like 15 but then maybe the average is like 40 because it's all 15 year olds and 65 or whatever i think a lot of the 15 year olds are also 65 year olds trying to get pictures of other 15 year olds right that seems to be bait or a good amount of time so it's hard to say sometimes we do like really roast someone's ass for a while and it does seem it is genuinely
Starting point is 00:06:31 a child. That was my main guess that that was probably happening a lot, but maybe children have moved on. Maybe they're just all on Roblox now. Yeah. The core of the Roblox pipeline needs to stop. But yeah, you go on here and people use it like it's Google, so they'll ask
Starting point is 00:06:47 like, what happens if I leave my oven on? And then other people will say like, you should turn it off. And then that's how the website works. So we've been trying to open the show with a question from the guest in a new and exciting segment called the questions of our lives questions i don't think youtube's gonna let us play that no i could do that that's my song i think it's fine all right remember
Starting point is 00:07:13 if you pitch it off a little you know yeah we'll make it scary yeah do like a monster voiceover we did like 30 seconds of van halen's jump for a good year yeah we were demonetized right oh well whatever charles is there a great question of your life you would like to put on quora well you asked me this before and the problem was that i started trying to ask things that they would like too much yeah if you just you know it's going to be like crack for them if you're just like is there a name for the smell of rain they're all going to go crazy yeah no one like they can't wait to tell you what that is so i think it needs to be something weird that kind of like allows them to it has to be a prism into their own soul and their own hang-ups right so
Starting point is 00:07:58 What I was thinking is, like, does anyone ever get sad when their tooth hurts? That's a good question, because I think that some of them are going to be like, this is a common problem, actually. And then other people are going to be like, it makes me a little sad. You know, like, I think there's a lot of ways you can interpret that. So Jeremy has typed that up. It is not on the website already. There is a similar one.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Why did the bottom of my teeth hurt when I feel deep sadness? That's the other way around. Yeah. OK, what about this, though, too? Cause like, this could be a referendum on the people on the site of like, what if we're just like, should I use my twisted mind for good or evil? Maybe a little too obviously fake though. I just think that that one is already on there.
Starting point is 00:08:38 That's for sure. In many different ways. Yeah. We've probably reviewed that question on the show already, but either way I do have to ask, does your tooth hurt right now? Oh no, no. I was just thinking like that makes people sad. It sucks, you know?
Starting point is 00:08:54 sad. Imagination is a beautiful resource, and it's nearly unlimited. We put that on the website, and we're going to see what happens with that one. That guy might respond. You can tag him. I'd love to know what he thinks.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Tagging him. That's an amazing feature. Do you want to send a notification to these weirdos who have... A lot of dentists in the Middle East are getting notifications right now as Jeremy slams the button. Creative smiles. I'm going to ask this guy, Bud.
Starting point is 00:09:25 Sure. Damn it. Ask Bud. Why not? Nancy Meyers, filmmaker. Wait a second. Now, we're going to explore the rest of the website here. We like to go to a space first, which is kind of like a subreddit for Quora.
Starting point is 00:09:38 It's just a community where people gather, but they're very poorly organized. Today's theme, I was trying to pair this with you, Charles, because you're a guy who respect means everything. Is that correct? Yeah. I don't respect others, but I expect them to respect me. It means everything to me. That's exactly what I thought. And that's why today's theme is cash and respect.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Space of the week. This is Money Minds. Money Minds. Wow. Think, build, grow with Money Minds. Why are there two S's? What's the delivery? actually they stand in for dollar signs i think you want two of them yeah yeah more the merrier
Starting point is 00:10:25 they should have put maybe 10 20 but there's also a button that does the dollar sign that's what i would have done i would have done the actual sign but this is money mines um you gotta think build and grow with this it's so far a lot of graphs of things that say like business equals investing equals results and stuff like that. It has 38 contributors and 1.3... That's what an MBA is too, right? You can just do this instead of getting an MBA. Oh, absolutely. You can, and that would
Starting point is 00:10:55 save a lot of money, or as they call it, cash flow. Or they call it a lot of S's. Yeah, they're like snakes over there. I don't even want a pop filter. I'm trying to get as many S's on this mic as possible. They really like having a silhouette
Starting point is 00:11:11 of a man with something in his head because they have that up here twice. the dollar sign in his head and then down here they've got a talk bubble with a uh a light bulb like your neck is speaking to you with an idea yeah and then you see that that idea is a dollar sign i think what it's telling you too is that you don't need a brain to make money because they have a dollar sign where their brain would be right and that's good advice don't overthink yes what you do need is money to make money this is of course well you need to spend money to make money and i suppose you have to have it in order to spend it right we're all saying the same thing
Starting point is 00:11:43 here jeremy scroll down to that second graph we were just looking okay you don't want to read the description oh okay we'll start with the details it is a community for people who want to understand business finance and growth in simple practical ways we share useful insights about entrepreneurship marketing investing startups and money management all focused on helping you think smarter and make better decisions whether you're building a business or just curious about how money works you'll find ideas guides and real stories here this is a great home base for me i'm ready to How does money work? I don't know how money works.
Starting point is 00:12:13 We'll have to click around on money mines, won't we? Spaces we may like make money online with mobile in 2025-6. So that's far away. That's actually a way bigger space. That's 32,000 followers in that space. That's like a pretty big one. My mouth is watering seeing that balance of $87,000 in the bank. That could be you.
Starting point is 00:12:36 That could be you if you click around on here a little bit more. and there's 1,000 contributors on this one, so that's pretty tempting. What kind of questions are they asking? Do any people earn money online? If yes, how? Great question. I have to say, in my time earlier of clicking Quora into Google,
Starting point is 00:12:55 what I noticed is the ads are all phrased like questions like this. Yes. It's basically like Jeopardy where you have to put everything in the form of a question. Is there a way to make money by doing nothing, and that's an ad? But it looks like all the legitimate posts in this subreddit on Quora look like ads, but they're not. No, these are people asking real questions from India, trying to learn how to make money. Well, if you think about it, the guys on Jeopardy are pretty smart.
Starting point is 00:13:21 So you'd probably want to act like them if you want to bring home big cash. That's right. Everything should be answered in the form of a question if you're serious about being smart. If you want to get paid like Alex Trebek. Right. You should be doing true daily doubles. I spent two to three hours looking around for money questions on Quora this morning, and there weren't as many openly funny ones as you would think.
Starting point is 00:13:42 A lot of them were the question over and over, how do I make money on Quora? When do I start making money on Quora? How do I use Quora to make money? And usually they had no answers or were just like, keep working at it. So people want to show up and get paid. Read this one up top. Is it possible for a teen under 16 to earn $10,000 in a year besides torturing and pet keeping?
Starting point is 00:14:08 Torturing? What does that mean? Now, I did some pet keeping as a 16-year-old. I did not do any torturing. Well, I did some monkey torture. It was kind of like pet keeping, but more antagonistic. That's where you should start as a pet keeper. I made $9,999, so my answer would be no.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Torturing and pet keeping. I feel like there's sort of a lost in translation thing here. Perhaps torturing means something else. Torturing one's self on camera for people to watch. But pet keeping, I wonder, where's the money in that? Is it like a euphemism? Is it like a sex euphemism? Like I'm torturing the eel?
Starting point is 00:14:49 I was picturing, truly, I was picturing like a teen in a cage being treated like a dog. Sure. Well, that's not torturing. that's being tortured. That's just role-playing. That's fun. That's a whole other end of the street. Using your imagination.
Starting point is 00:15:05 I also want to know how to start drip shipping, which I know is drop shipping, but drip shipping sounds cooler. Oh, yeah. I mean, that's with really cool clothes. Yeah. Abdallah, you crazy fella. Straight up drip.
Starting point is 00:15:19 If you go to the doc, I picked up a question from Money Minds. I also just real quick, how do I make money online without showing my face and live a better life? That could be good as well. Everyone's offering me money online, but they're like, you got to show your face.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Come on. Show us those eyes. I want to see you cry. I think the answer is feet. Oh, yeah, that is the answer. There should be a wiki feet for faces. We could call it Facebook. Oh.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Mindset. Mindset. That'll never work. A YouTube channel hit 14 million subscribers without ever showing a real person's face. Oh, lo-fi girl. Yeah, I guess you could be lo-fi girl. nice ai generated picture here is she the one who makes beats to study too yeah she makes beats to study too you ever had to study well she probably generates
Starting point is 00:16:06 i'm judging by that picture right definitely well it's lo-fi i hope that explains it all right i'll go to this question you found yeah okay so this is what i was talking about how to earn money from this quora app and so this is how you do it so we should maybe actually just pay attention to this Maybe we don't even put this in the episode because we don't want to give away the secrets. This is something we're always using Quora. Events says businesses use paid advertising on Quora to reach potential customers. This is a way to spend money to acquire customers.
Starting point is 00:16:39 So that's the opposite. They're not asking how do I spend money on Quora. How do I make it? Well, you got to spend money to make money. You should reply to that guy. Okay. Sorry, sir. She didn't ask how to spend money on here.
Starting point is 00:16:53 sorry sir yeah make sure to say she like we're defending a woman yeah her name's Kaylee leave her alone yeah leave Kaylee Kaylee wait
Starting point is 00:17:06 okay great we sent that in I'm not even sure Kaylee asked the question I think she's the mod it's a really confusing website that's Kaylee let's see who asked the question It doesn't matter. Sorry for trying to defend you, Kaylee.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Amy, when Vote Blue is answering it. Apparently, it's this woman named Caroline. So we were right anyway. She says, Caroline, you aren't going to make any money on Quora. You asked the same damn questions ten times in a row. You don't understand how Quora works. And you have almost no content in four years. 26 upvotes.
Starting point is 00:17:40 This is such a toxic community. Destroyed. Tell her she destroyed her. She's going to prove you all wrong, Amy. I'm voting red now. I mean, apparently this question is from Afon Sadiq. So it's not actually a woman named Caroline. Yeah, he's getting a haircut in the photo.
Starting point is 00:18:02 It's a haircut selfie. This is a great example of what Quora is used for. The last answer he provided was someone asked, what is the name of a baby pig? And he said piglet. Yeah. That's just true. That's what the website is.
Starting point is 00:18:15 They do use it. It's like really slow Google responses. if you're very patient you'll find out what a baby pig is called he's right though it is called that he's not wrong people all right let's explore some money questions shall we how do i make money from this quora app people are very divided on this i kind of wanted to go to um uh what's her name i wanted to see more from amy win vote blue yeah special in Alzheimer's and dementia care. We have a lot of shared followers.
Starting point is 00:18:48 She's followed by Uncle Daddy and Mary Ellen Candid. These are just random people we've found over the years. Okay. How many followers do you have? 29,000 followers. We don't have that many because we're not based posting all the time. She's kind of a high B. We have 200.
Starting point is 00:19:05 She's got thousands. You've got to go delete that response. Wait, I'll just hold on. Maybe I could make it right. Oh, we can help her immigrate to the U.S. Wait, why is she saying to vote blue and she doesn't fucking live here? Unless that means something different where she's from. She's answering.
Starting point is 00:19:19 She's answering. She's answering that. Oh, sorry. She knows so much. She did answer this four minutes ago. You got to wait till you get a hold of the reins here, Charles. It's a complicated website. In the last half hour, she's made like six posts.
Starting point is 00:19:34 She's probably making money from posting on here. That's why she's on here all day. Yeah, she is. She doesn't want to share her secrets. She knows about senior care and geriatrics and dementia care. Someone said, well, would I love to know all about you? And she says, who knows? This isn't a dating website or chat website.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Reply, it could be. We don't want to harass Amy. We need her to like us. I don't want to alienate Amy. It's the last thing we need to do on here. Okay, Jeremy's asking. I said, it could be, do you want to be friends? She's clouded, so we do need to try to become friends with her if we want to be big on Quora.
Starting point is 00:20:08 I just worry sometimes we're going to get Alberto Mysterio Bay. I feel like you guys aren't really qualified to do your show if you only have 200 followers on Quora. It's starting to look embarrassing now. It's anthropological. We're studying the environment of Quora. Yeah, we don't want to draw attention to ourselves with a name like Alberto Mysterio.
Starting point is 00:20:26 I disagree. You've got to do it like Anthony Bourdain style where you get right in the thick of it and you do as the locals do. Right. You've got to do the online equivalent of eating warthog anus. I don't know what the online equivalent of that is.
Starting point is 00:20:38 I would say doing this. Don't change anything. Once you go to swimming in all your clothes space, you'll never want to stop beating Adam, whatever the CEO of Quora's name is, to death. That's a good point, Jeremy. Do you follow the CEO on Quora? Yeah, he left.
Starting point is 00:20:56 I don't know. Maybe he does still work there. It's Adam something. Adam D'Angelo. That's not a good sign if the CEO's not here. He's still around. This is his picture clearly from 2009. It'd be cool if he still looked like that.
Starting point is 00:21:08 he's doing brian johnson style experiments to himself to look 19 forever i don't think he looks that different now he kind of still looks like that yeah he's aging like a fine wine although maybe these are all just super old photos well no he's not aging like a fine wine because he's not aging yeah he's aging like a wine that doesn't age yeah an ageless wine i can't find a photo of him that doesn't look like it's from 2009 but i assume he's just never aging he's a vampire and we did try to get him on i've emailed him many times didn't is he the one who said that he can't he can't talk oh no that was a different that was the so this guy's still the ceo but the former co-creator the one of the co-creators i did reach
Starting point is 00:21:52 out to him and ask if he wanted to come on our podcast and he said he signed an nda and said he wasn't allowed to criticize quora oh that makes sense that's very tech industry yeah it must suck though to be like a tech ceo a technically successful tech ceo and then everyone's like damn dude what company do you run you're like quora yeah they worship me in southeast asia he still has worked at facebook on his his quora profile too that's like kind of sad put that in there and also like the ceo of quora has half a million followers it's like not a lot It's high for the website.
Starting point is 00:22:33 I think he has less content views than Amy. Yeah, he might. He's not posting every 10 minutes. She's not working at it like she is. She's honestly trying way harder. He hasn't commented in two years. He's at work. He hasn't asked a question since February,
Starting point is 00:22:47 which was what information is communicated when birds sing? Good question. What information is communicated when birds sing? I don't know. I just don't think Quora is the right place to ask that question. No. He knows that. He's the CEO.
Starting point is 00:23:01 He knows it's not a good place to ask questions. It's actually an extensive answer by Marty Frolic. Yeah. And he's saying, like, he's pretending he's a bird, and he's saying, I'm a male, I'm excited, and I'd like to mate. Oh, that's the kind of things we say in our songs as humans, too. Yeah, it's true. It's literally the same thing.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Birds are essentially bad bunny to each other. Yeah. That's what Bad Bunny is saying, right? I'm a male, I'm excited, and I'd like to mate. Yeah, that's my favorite Bad Bunny song. I don't speak Spanish, but I assume that's what he's saying. That's like the gist of it, I think, if I'm watching his body talk. What about this other one?
Starting point is 00:23:33 It says, food, food, I found food. That's what, like, I guess, like, Action Bronson's saying that in some of his songs. Action Bronson. That's so true. A Jimmy Buffett kind of bird. Just drunk-ass bird. Most birds are saying that they want margaritas.
Starting point is 00:23:51 Yeah, kind of just like a bird you're, like, disappointed in him. Okay, I'm going to move on to our real questions here. Finally. We're going to break these down by topic. Core Romance. Here are our romance questions here on Core Romance. There's a lot more I chose not to play. Why do rich men prefer to date young and beautiful women?
Starting point is 00:24:24 That's a good question. I don't know why. The opposite question is, why do poor people hate rich, young, and beautiful women? That's true. A poor guy never wants to date a young and beautiful woman. They want to date women their age who are broke and ugly. Old and ugly. They're easy to get.
Starting point is 00:24:43 I picked the answer specifically that we were on before. Yes, I know. Because that guy was really going off. But this is from 2017, and there's a lot of earnest debate about it. uh this is a post by anonymous the hacker collective and it says i would think to piss people off yep this would probably be the most revolting answer yes i'm just an average guy nothing stands out as physically attractive in me i'm probably the opposite oh in fact probably the opposite i literally have ton of activities and interests i take part in i read i am well
Starting point is 00:25:19 educated and confident enough to be rich one day i am a diverse person i work out i am physically 27, but much older at heart. Okay. This is not my first day on Quora. I have read thousands of opinions, and I believe in idealistic approach. The internet user has logged on.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Yeah. However, I can sense the stinky prejudice because of my origin slash race that women have when they see me approaching them. Guys, I love when people turn diversity into I am diverse. I am lesion.
Starting point is 00:25:52 I am a diverse person. Do you mean like a person of color or whatever? I am the wind. I hate when a young and beautiful woman gets close to me and the stinky prejudice becomes apparent. Well, because of your origin. Yeah. The word stinky is really...
Starting point is 00:26:09 I'm a diverse mixture of English and French and Welsh and Scottish. Yuck. Quite stinky. Gross. Oh, yeah. But he's going to go off about it a little bit. Now, this question to remind you was, why do rich men prefer to date young and beautiful women? So, I am waiting for it to come around here.
Starting point is 00:26:28 Imagine not getting a single match on dozens of dating apps for years. My revenge? I'll just work on myself. Improve, be filthy rich, and be a lot more successful just waiting for my chance. Then probably find a lot younger and beautiful girl and walk down the street with her from a fancy car to the most expensive restaurant. Dress to show and piss off all the women in my age group at that time. I'm kind of making a statement that they have rejected me when they were young. So he's saying that this is why rich men do this, is that they want to piss off the women their age.
Starting point is 00:26:58 Oh, because it's revenge. I love that. It's your sweet revenge. And this is what he's going to do when he's rich. I steal their children. An older woman seeing a younger woman with an older guy is just like, oh, honey. She just feels bad for her, I think. Yeah, you don't think that they're looking at the guy and going, why isn't it me?
Starting point is 00:27:15 He could have picked me. I want to go to the restaurant. A lot of it is car-based. Women's are real gear heads for those kinds of things. They want to see the machine purr. They know exactly what year and make your car is. The next paragraph starts with riddle me this, so I want to read it. Riddle me this.
Starting point is 00:27:36 I spend my younger years trying to get right women, but everyone seems to be rejecting me. So instead I try to invest my time on developing myself while my female counterparts are having many wonderful and romantic encounters. So when I turned 40 plus, and if they happen to be single at the time, if they are not single, good for them, I am happy for them.
Starting point is 00:27:56 That's important. Why should I give them a chance when they already had plenty of chances with lot of other men? Do you think I deserve a worn out person who was discarded by many or made several bad choices that left her single at that age? I know the value of acceptance as I was rejected thousands of times. It has made me wise, helping me decide when I should actually pursue and who are not worth it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:18 There's a lot of other things, but he's saying that they go after them for revenge. Yeah, he's saying he would date a beautiful young woman to piss others off. Keep in mind, this is a 27-year-old. Yeah, and this was posted like nine years ago, right? This guy is probably deep into the manosphere at this point. Also, just to be clear, he's physically 27, but his heart is much older. He has a mind of at least a seven-year-old man. See, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:28:39 The rich guys, they're young at heart. That's why they need to date 22-year-olds. His problem is that he's old at heart. He needs to get a better heart. He needs to date an old woman. We should check in to see if he's broke. Oh, yeah, absolutely. Check in if his ass is broke.
Starting point is 00:28:52 What's his name? Oh, it was Anonymous. Anonymous. Oh, no, we can't even click it. His name is Anonymous. And honestly, I have not heard from Anonymous in a while, so I think they are broke. Unfortunately, we can't see who it was.
Starting point is 00:29:03 That's too bad. People are knocking his ass in the comments. 27 isn't old by any stretch. If you're still broke at 42, no one's going to get upset that they missed their big chance with you. Oh, that's Heather Feather. She's taking him down a peg. Click on Heather Feather.
Starting point is 00:29:15 She's got no profile. Zero posts. Yeah. Oh, and yet you're taking down Anonymous. Light is a feather. Why don't you focus on your own page? Yeah. What Anonymous worry about young women and defeating Scientology?
Starting point is 00:29:32 He's too good for you, Heather. Heather Feather has one follower, which is tired of useless wars. Wait, what? Unlucky wars. unless i'm sorry tired of unless wars yeah yeah yeah yeah but we get with the we get the sentiment yeah i think they're still against them well unless yeah maybe i was reading it the wrong way i'm sorry guys well he kind of popped off there uh vinnage says by the way which race are you from which honestly you did kind of bring it up so yeah i wanted to know i could hear more about
Starting point is 00:30:06 that and less about your revenge a wandering monk is in the comments oh do we follow a wandering monk no we shouldn't we can learn so much a wandering monk typical average indian engineer by birth and karma yeah indian people love this website yeah it's like half indian which is like we always say you know we're always reading like half like broken english posts and kind of laughing at it but then realizing like they also speak other languages so what i thought was happening with 15 year olds is actually just happening with adult indian dudes yeah i think a lot of it is adult Indian men. Yeah, this seems like
Starting point is 00:30:38 that's the main demographic. Yeah, it's a big part of it. And it's also very big in England, I think, because it's kind of a good website to be pedantic on. Oh, sure. So there could be a colonial history there.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Yeah, this comment section is just full of women trying to stop him. This woman says, believe me, these young women, young and beautiful women are much more worn out than older ones.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Whoa. That can't be. Because 40 plus lived in a period of values and morality. Oh, they weren't getting impaled as much. Nowadays, these gorgeous chicks sleep with
Starting point is 00:31:10 thousands of partners, whereas your exes 40 plus have more self-worth than respect. That's right. In like the 80s? Yeah. In like 1995? And she knows Swedish. It's very restrained and chaste time. It says she's a master of pedagogy.
Starting point is 00:31:27 Now, what does that mean again? I don't remember. Teaching? I think it is teaching. Pedagogy? Oh, no, Claire. Pedagogy? It's just teaching, yeah. It is teaching. Charles nailed that one.
Starting point is 00:31:39 I had to teach you guys something. I was engaging in a little pedagogy myself. You're sort of a master of it. Yeah, I would say. I'm no whatever. I'm no Andrea Siobanu, but... No, you're not, and you never will be. Truly, Charles, you're already wealthy.
Starting point is 00:31:55 I'm more ran through than her. Yeah, you're a little more worn out than her. I wasn't saying that. I wouldn't say that to a guest. That's kind of rude. I have thousands of partners. Not to brag, it's just true. I'm just ran through.
Starting point is 00:32:05 Because I don't have morals. Okay, here's another question. This is an interesting one. It kind of takes the idea and inverts it. The question is, is it true that most women like alpha males? I believe it is true because alphas are the most powerful and respected males. Do we have any thoughts on this before getting into it? That's been my understanding.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Right. I don't know. I think there are plenty of beta males who like to be alpha'd by their women. Right? I don't know. And the women like that, you're saying? And the women like that. I don't know any beta males personally.
Starting point is 00:32:40 All my friends are alpha males. We're just a group of alphas. Right, right, right. Podcasters are content creators who are at the top of the food chain nowadays. Yep, yep. Small business owners and entrepreneurs. Money makers, money moves. Everyone's asking, how do I make money off Quora?
Starting point is 00:32:57 They should be asking that about Patreon. Yes. Wrong site. I kind of need them to not all ask that about Patreon because it would make it kind of a competitive market. I feel like really resentful when people would know to make money actually go to Patreon. It kind of makes me pissed off.
Starting point is 00:33:13 You don't like when Amy Poehler makes $25 billion this year? Just kind of a look behind the curtain as to what's going on over here. Anyway, I like that Amy Poehler joins Patreon because I know all of her fans are going to love E1. That's true. She's getting on the platform to follow us, too. Has she been on E1 yet, Amy? A couple times.
Starting point is 00:33:31 We've been talking about some projects. she's a treasure house of story yeah i've always said that about her um we can't get her we can we've had aziz ansari on over and over but we can't get amy right yeah you had to wait till he was canceled to get him on yeah yeah we had to get him a stool in my apartment we kind of agree about a lot of things that would be a great right wing podcast is you just get on whoever is most newly canceled in celebrity culture that's just because they're all gonna they are there's already exists i just invented the right wing ecosystem i thought you're gonna say random yeah exactly yeah i thought you're gonna say a right wing podcast where they shove their
Starting point is 00:34:10 fingers in the mouth of all their guests what was the david letterman show that was on netflix where he just like talks to it's called like let me talk to you or something it was called like what'd they do to you jerry seinfeld what did they say to you to a guy like letterman who used to make millions of dollars to be the guy that now he's doing a glorified podcast that has to feel so bad. He's got that cool beard now. I think he likes it because it gives him something to do. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:34:34 that's true. Old guys need something to do. They need a hobby. They really do. Grandpas are the most qualified ones to podcast because they have a story to tell. Yeah, it's not a very interesting story most of the time. Claire, you hang out with Mark Maron every now and then. Does he seem like restless now that he's not podcasting?
Starting point is 00:34:50 Is he constantly trying to get mics in front of your face? Does he get aggressive with you? No, no. I think he's just doing stand-up and walking back and forth. He's sort of pacing. Okay. Well, that doesn't sound anxious at all. That's something old men do.
Starting point is 00:35:05 He's definitely not anxious. Okay, good. But he is old. Okay, good. Well, this is a response to the alpha male post. Before you read it, why does it say this question previously had details? They are now in a comment. What?
Starting point is 00:35:18 I think because five or ten years ago, they used to let you post details on the question like Reddit. right it's so esoteric it's crazy anonymous i wonder if we can find those details this is pedagogic i would love to read the thing i'm sorry i've just never seen this before this is new to us we've been doing this podcast four years that guy the ceo is adding great new features every week when we come online and it says where the post is now and who wrote it we salute you we used to have to scroll all the way to the bottom of details to find out who wrote any question and it's true minutes minutes at a time read this post uh this is an answer by marcus lundgren about alpha males i'm what alpha males would describe as an omega male a man who's so
Starting point is 00:36:03 low on the pecking order of life that i can hardly be considered a man at all and in their eyes i only exist as a yardstick by which they can measure how much more awesome they are than me in comparison so omega is bad it's the worst it sounds really cool it sounds way cooler than i I know. Because you're the last man. Yeah, I guess that's right. You're a bug. You're Will Smith or whatever.
Starting point is 00:36:26 You're like a very sickly bug. As someone who speaks English, it seems like Zeta should be after Omega. Yeah. Can we reorder the Greek alphabet? We're more powerful than they are as an English-speaking community. Why can't we reorder their alphabet for them to be more like ours? I thought we could. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:36:42 I don't have the clearance to do that. But anyway, Marcus is an Omega male. And as a supposedly Omega male, I'm what you can call an observer of life. I don't run around beating my chest or drive fancy cars, nor do I constantly compete with other men or prove my dick size by sleeping around. Instead, I watch overgrown little boys try their hardest to be James Bond while looking absolutely ridiculous in the process. And in my opinion, most women tend to lap this shit right up.
Starting point is 00:37:07 I'm just thinking about like, so if Omega is so low, like Alpha male is like the cool guy and then Beta male is like the loser, but Beta male is way above Omega. Well, they're only a loser. There's plenty of other letters in between. They want to be the alpha, and they can't. Where's the omega male? You're a nasty little troll. I feel like being an iota male is way worse than an omega male
Starting point is 00:37:27 because you're so tiny. I got to learn more Greek letters before I can comment on this. I only know a couple of them. You got to stop trying to be like James Bond. I can't say anything about the epsilon males. so so far this guy is saying that like alpha males are being performative and ridiculous but that women do love it and they're crazy for it yeah i'm not saying that most women actually like alpha male behavior in fact i think a vast number of women would actually insist they don't
Starting point is 00:37:57 but i've seen firsthand how the perspective changes once a handsome alpha male turns his charm onto them i'm sure it must be very flattering to have a bad boy pay you attention he may be strong and assertive with others but when he wants a woman she'll inevitably interpret his cock swinging antics as a sign of confidence and strength but i'm true so far i mean this is all true by the way this guy's british so hit anglo spotted i will hit the button there went too far come on one more no that's that one white one white button edit this out make this good i'm not gonna do it okay where where is he anglo you said behavior with a with a bunch of fucking you nice try inefficient to type that way we see you just wasting your time
Starting point is 00:38:55 yeah he's omega tell me what what your favorite color is anglo male i'm gonna keep reading what i'm suggesting that a lot of women won't even know how they'll react to an alpha male until he's in balls deep so to speak what do you mean so to speak so to speak they may protest loudly and claim that they like a man who isn't full of himself as far as i can tell there seems to be a biological function which overrides the rational part of women's brains whenever an alpha male decides to flatter them but me being a confident man is not about showing everyone else how much of a man i am it doesn't matter to me if people respect me or
Starting point is 00:39:37 openly mock me in public i know that i can go after what i want if i want something badly enough and i also know that doing so only matters to me i don't need to use my achievements as a way to display my social status and reap physical benefits associated with it if people like me that's fine but my inner strength doesn't isn't dependent on the approval of others nor do i need to dominate others in order to express, what a badass I am. I keep thinking about like, you know, alpha males come from wolves, right? Like, that's like what that is? Yeah, because
Starting point is 00:40:04 dogs organize themselves. I love the idea of the omega wolf in the pack, where the other wolves are like, that wolf sucks. They pee on that wolf. Yeah, he's a bummer. There's no rules to what you do to that wolf. He's a terrible wolf. And he goes on Quora and he acts like, I
Starting point is 00:40:20 like being peed on. I think it's cool. What about the sapiosexual wolves, where But they're just like, how come these female wolves don't respect my brain? Big brain wolves. They're in the middle of the alphabet somewhere. I don't know all the rules. This keeps going for a while. He talks about how the alpha male is the Gruppenführer.
Starting point is 00:40:39 What does that mean? I don't know. I need to know more German for that one. I've heard Führer before, but I can't remember where. Yeah. I know that German is usually like almost English, but if you tried to make it funny. So maybe it's like the Gruppführer. You're thinking of Dutch.
Starting point is 00:40:57 Sure. I think I know what I said. I think you're always thinking of Dutch. Anyways, he says Bill Gates is gentle and quiet, but that he's not alpha. You know what I'll say about alpha males? They're not whining about the other types of males on the internet. They're too busy swinging their cocks around and driving their cars. That's cool to me.
Starting point is 00:41:24 I think little whiny wiener boys need to take a listen. Listeners, are you hearing this? They need to group in. If you want Claire to like you, you have to be a true alpha. So what you're saying is that wiener describes their personality, and they need wiener to describe, like, literally, just they need to be flopping it around for attention. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:41:45 I feel like I can't even identify an alpha until he's balls deep in me. Checkmate, sir. You got me there. Oh, our relationship makes way more sense, Al. So is Bill Gates an alpha or a beta or an omega if he's gentle and quiet with brains to spare? I can't tell. He's omega. How could he not be an alpha when he's that rich?
Starting point is 00:42:10 He's probably dating a 22-year-old right now. He's got a car. He's gentle and quiet, but he makes your legs shake or whatever. He makes your calf cramp. That's what it is. Wait, wasn't he? He was on Da Island, wasn't he? Bill Gates?
Starting point is 00:42:23 Bill Gates, yeah. He goes to every island. He's very wealthy. He'll be sick if he hung out with the island boys. Those boys need a role model, honestly. They've been kissing each other. Bill Gates could whip them into shape. Island boys are kissing each other?
Starting point is 00:42:41 Why don't you boys stop kissing and start inventing things in your garage? They kissed each other. Go into your garage more. They're biologically related, aren't they? Yeah, they're brothers. They're alpha males though This is the thing
Starting point is 00:42:56 If two alphas kiss What happens They're allowed to even if they're brothers That's the rule Are you going to stop them I'm not going to stop them I have a beta I can't do anything about that
Starting point is 00:43:11 I'm very into this character Claire's working on A person who has heard of the island boys But does not know about the stuff they do I like that you almost called them the alpha boys She just likes the music you know Separate the art from the artist I just like their song We're the Alpha
Starting point is 00:43:27 The Alpha Boys The Island Boys Everyone here is so fucking horny For the Island Boys It's out of control I was confusing the Island Boys For their two other boys The Da Vinci Twins
Starting point is 00:43:40 The Da Vinci Twins Now they've joked about this a lot, Claire They've joked about kissing each other But they haven't They laugh about it Island Boys take action Say that You can say what you will about it
Starting point is 00:43:51 Yeah Yeah, they look kind of gnarly. They make decisions in their life that are hard to go back from. You have to respect that about them. Risk-taking. And I do. Expect the respect. That's right.
Starting point is 00:44:03 It's a quality of rich men, risk-taking. Yes. All right, let's move on to our next segment, then. Because this just keeps going, man. Holy shit, this is so long. This guy's such a classic group infurer. Wiener boy. Where do you see that?
Starting point is 00:44:18 I just can't respect him. He is a wiener boy. He's an omega male. He's calling himself what Claire's calling him. You can pee on him. Did he say wiener boy, or is this just Claire saying that? I thought she was reading that. Me too, but I think Claire's just saying it.
Starting point is 00:44:30 Claire's right. He's a damn wiener boy. Can I just look up what group and Fuhrer is? You can, but then we have to read other things. Group leader. Oh, look at that. It's just a Nazi group leader. Who would have thought that Fuhrer had something to do with the Nazis?
Starting point is 00:44:44 I thought maybe there was some world where it was just like a word from before the Nazis, but no. No. Well, I know. I understand that. Now I have a new theory why Money Minds has two S's in it. It might be a little problematic. I thought there was some chance that it was just a German word that happened to also have Fuhrer in it, but I was wrong.
Starting point is 00:45:04 Well, it's good to take risks. It is. Okay. Let's go on to our next segment here because we got a lot of- This is the quiz course, our politics section. There's a lot of respect questions. We got to get on the cast. I didn't know it was going to get political here.
Starting point is 00:45:16 I know. Wait, wait, wait, wait. This is a good one. This is, of course, the Cash episode. Is the White House really being renamed the Crack House? Is this true? This is an old question. I think it is true, though, right?
Starting point is 00:45:34 I think we probably know that it's not at this point. This is during Biden's term, right? This is Biden era? I just haven't heard anyone call it the Crack House. And if you did call it the Crack House, you would have to quickly explain, and by that I mean the White House. Yeah. Like, I wouldn't get it right away if you just said,
Starting point is 00:45:50 Oh, Donald Trump is at the crack house today or something. I would be confused. I'm going to D.C. I'm visiting the crack house. I have a special security clearance at the crack house. Terrorists have taken the crack house. And then there's a lot of partisan fighting in here, but it just shows. Oh, no, you hate to see it. The respect that's on the line.
Starting point is 00:46:12 On Quora? On Quora with the office under threat. The White House is at risk of being renamed the crack house. And I think that says something. Yeah. The top comment here is no, not since the Trumps left, especially Eric and Donald Jr., who are famous for being stoned and whacked out of their minds on cracked while at the White House and probably stoned Biden with their leftovers. Oh, come on. This is a political fact needs to give this like four Pinocchios.
Starting point is 00:46:38 Obviously, Hunter is the crack addict. We all know that if you vote blue, no matter who, it's cool that he's a crack addict. You got to own that. It's like the coolest thing anyone named Biden has done. How do you stone someone with your leftovers? I think that they made a bunch of brownies and they left them out because they forgot them because they're so high on crack. And then Biden, you know, who's kind of a fiend for ice cream and desserts.
Starting point is 00:47:02 I'm going to eat the brownies. He's going to eat brownies if he sees them. He finds a Tupperware of brownies in the Oval Office. He's really old. He says stuff like there's starving kids in China, and then he eats the brownies. But there's crack in them. There's starving kids in China, but there's one hungry man right here.
Starting point is 00:47:17 he laughs yeah oh well that's how that would happen great yeah this reminds me of a news story i saw today or really a photo um so it's kind of beyond reproach here that i saw three donald trump's on the white house lawn talking today what i was like how is this not on the front page of the new york times whoa they cloned him it seems like more and more incredible things are happening all the time like they found a dragon in a cave in afghanistan i saw the video it seems like there's so much news nowadays with politics and everything that they don't even have space on all the news websites for the dragons for the three trumps etc and it just seems like we're living in some crazy times and no one's willing to talk about it they found a dragon
Starting point is 00:47:56 i've seen a giant i've seen a lot of giants too they're finding like many incredible things that we dreamt about for eons really are finally emerging from the woodwork all at once and there's no other explanation than just something incredible is happening and the news media just doesn't feel like covering yeah what timing i'm just gonna say also like i'm not like a war guy but I don't think Afghanistan should be allowed to have a dragon and we should go in there and take the dragon is there to fight the giant, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:22 It's clearly not aligned with the Taliban or else they would have used that against. Yeah. They should not be allowed to develop dragons over there. Cause the giant killed a lot of our soldiers from what I heard. Oh, for sure. There's that one picture of that guy getting speared all the way through
Starting point is 00:48:35 the chest. And it was totally owned a giant, a giant won't step on the Quran. You can see videos. They'll always step over the Quran. Well, I think that speaks for itself. This was just kind of a fun question about the crack house there.
Starting point is 00:48:49 You know, we don't need to spend too much time on it. Who asked it, though, I wonder? Wait, is Claire on the team? Joseph LaPointe, who lives in the wacko state of California. Claire, that's where you live. Yeah. Basically. Do you know this guy, Claire?
Starting point is 00:49:05 Lands of fruits and nuts, he says. That's really funny, Joseph. That's really funny. He says, I got a huge penis, but I am ugly. What would you rather have? the ultimate question. Ladies, have you ever got cum pumped down
Starting point is 00:49:21 your gullet? Don't answer that. Can we answer that? Yeah, what should I say? Now that I think of it, yes. Yeah, tell him yes. Okay, that will confuse him because we are a picture
Starting point is 00:49:39 of Mysterio from Spider-Man, but just send it over anyway. I don't know how you'd pump cum down the stereos, go it. It sounds like some kind of industrial process with the verb. Yeah. Right. There's a tool that is being used. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Here's a question. If an adult clone of Julius Caesar could be created by magic, what would be his profession in 2026? Now, the person who asked this had a slew of questions in this mode. So you picked this one. But it's someone who is drawn to power. Right. Like Julius Caesar. What would be Caesar's job on the commune in communism?
Starting point is 00:50:16 Yeah. Probably edit a magazine. Like we were just saying, I think that, like, we're starting to see more and more that giants and dragons are appearing in our everyday life. So it's not that crazy to ask whether magic could be used to clone Julius Caesar, because it's probably going to happen next year, honestly.
Starting point is 00:50:31 Yeah. I kind of sucks you don't even need a profession if you're doing stuff like that. What would he think of Orange Julius? Would he like one of them? Oh, Orange Julius Caesar. That's me. I think he would like it.
Starting point is 00:50:43 Oh, you're talking about Trump? Is that what you're saying? No, no, I'm not saying like Trump. You're saying he's like orange Julius Caesar? You're saying he's like Trump? That's a great name for Trump. That's the fucking funniest thing I've ever heard, but I was just referencing orange Julius.
Starting point is 00:50:57 You're saying he's orange Julius Caesar? It's really clever, but no, I wasn't. I was saying I love those, and Baskin-Robbins owns it now. Oh, I see these related questions. He's asking about Alexander the Great, Mussolini, Einstein, Winston Churchill, and Hitler. He's getting a team together. Engagement farming.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Yeah. Gruppenführer. Yeah, go to the guy who asked the question because it is really interesting and he's coming at it from a lot of interesting directions. Well, I want to see some answers. Sure, okay. I think Hitler's job in 2026 would be Nazi.
Starting point is 00:51:25 Yeah. Yeah, it's fair. Hey, go right back to where he left off. Current Nazi. Well, it's on his resume. Melissa says whatever he wanted to be, an adult clone of Julius Caesar would not necessarily be Julius Caesar.
Starting point is 00:51:36 He would be an identical twin created thousands of years after Caesar's death. So he would be a Twitch streamer, I guess? He would make another clone of him and then they would kiss. That's a great idea. I don't think that's true. Head to toe, they would come up with
Starting point is 00:51:53 a 30 second snippet of a song that goes viral and then six months later they'd be kissing on OnlyFans. Yeah, that's like the natural path if you want attention. If you have the will to power in 2026, that is the kind of thing you do. That's right. Italy's a peninsula. He could be Peninsula Boy.
Starting point is 00:52:09 I am just Peninsula Boy. Also, I think that she's thinking of this as a science clone, but this is a magic clone. This is by magic. So it doesn't mean that he would just be. Well, you could reply to her, Irm, did you read the question? This is a magic clone, not a science clone.
Starting point is 00:52:24 She was so quick to jump in there and be like, don't tell Julius Caesar what he has to do. His life is his own. I would love to be ruled by him. We're ruled by such dumb people. I want to be ruled by one of the goats of being a ruler. Yeah, we don't have any good tyrants anymore. Yeah, give me an all-timer goat tyrant.
Starting point is 00:52:43 We are just yelling at women today. Honestly, give me the dragon. Yes, let the dragon rule us. You're saying things you can't take back, Claire. This guy says that his education would be likely grade school at best, so he'd work at McDonald's. He clearly didn't need it. He took over all of Europe or whatever.
Starting point is 00:53:05 I don't think smart people become rulers. Rulers are so smart. We always have just the most brilliant people get elected. Oh, he doesn't know enough calculus. Shut up, dumbass. Don't talk about Julius Caesar that way. I guess I'll go to this guy's profile and see what other questions he's asking. Dig up his stuff.
Starting point is 00:53:23 This is Jim Baker. He's got 180 questions. He recently joined last month. I'm going to follow him. He did in July. He's up and he's cooking. He's posting 18 hours ago. His most recent question is, would you torture and kill the mastermind of a false flag operation, irrespective of whoever the front person was, because you can still make an informed guess of his true identity?
Starting point is 00:53:45 My answer to that is, I don't know, man. Would I do that? Is this a problem that you think that he is facing? Is everyone torturing in their spare time? If it made you $10,000. The amount everyone out here is talking about torturing casually is really confusing to me. I think I would torture a mastermind if I didn't have to show my face. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Yeah. Well, you'd have a long mask. And then if I could make money. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, for money, I would. I guess we could answer that for money, I would. I'm just curious what situation this guy is in that he's asking it.
Starting point is 00:54:19 It doesn't feel like a hypothetical. It feels very real. Intelligence. Oh, yeah. Maybe he's an intelligence officer. Just like the president. He's intelligent, like all leaders. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:28 He's in a leadership position somewhere. I think this guy's a time traveler and is trying to figure out who he should bring back for a false flag operation Calling her Baroness Theresa May is really funny He's asking Was Baroness Theresa May publicly executed
Starting point is 00:54:45 on August 9th and he's asked it three times Crucified Let me ask again Crucified and tortured Was she tortured I think Theresa May is running a false flag operation and he knows it and he's like should I crucify her should I torture her
Starting point is 00:55:00 I think you're right. Let's set the record straight. She was tortured, but was not executed. Could a very young child be fatally wounded by oncoming traffic based on sheer ignorance of the danger? By the way, also clearly a British guy. I mean, yeah, I guess. Andy Burnham.
Starting point is 00:55:16 Was Andy Burnham crucified? Yeah, this guy's very British. Extremely British. This is one of those ruddy old British guys who was banging pots and pans in his yard for Boris. I smell the beans through the damn wires. uh was chuck norris severely tortured totally dismembered and publicly humiliated this is the first american he's asked about from last week yeah the one most important one go to
Starting point is 00:55:43 below that there uh is the archbishop of canterbury dame sarah molali a cretin i can't think of more british things you could be saying on here that's disgusting you gotta hit the button i i will hit the button again i know we just hit it but being too british on here which question would you like to do i do want to talk about cash a little bit so i feel like we should do the uh quilosophy one here but i i there's some other good stuff we could maybe let's do quilosophy okay so these These are our philosophical questions. This is great. How do I become a rich and powerful elite?
Starting point is 00:56:33 Thank you. And then Deo George Oladipo has a long answer here. Oladipo. And it's a list, which is my favorite kind of read. It's a double list. Double your bang for your buck here with this double list. People love not answering questions on here. I won't exactly tell you how, but I'll surely tell you how not.
Starting point is 00:56:54 That's what I fucking asked. New question idea. Success lies in the quality of your decisions. So like I promised, I won't tell you how to be rich. Just let me tell you. Let me just go straight to how you can be very, very poor. Number one, eat your seed. We need to get in touch with the guy who wanted to pump cum.
Starting point is 00:57:17 We can tag him, I think, in the comments. I don't remember his name. Tom Pumper. To explain, he says, seeds are meant to be planted, but the trap is they're also edible, so spend your productive time and energy squandering your now.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Interesting. Number two. Sorry, I scrolled way too much. Be carried away by what you see. Success isn't exactly what you see from the outside, just like the way acting a movie is different from watching it. The thrill you get by watching millionaires
Starting point is 00:57:45 or billionaires is quite different from their own reality, which is how to discipline their appetite of instant gratification and capture their greed. So I was really drawn to the seed one. Did you read past what he meant? I saw eat your seed and said cut it, print it. Put it in the podcast.
Starting point is 00:58:02 Yeah, on that second one, I was falling asleep. I'm like, I don't care what he's talking about. Me too. I feel like we all just fully zoned out as you read it. That's why we're going to stay poor. Because we're not reading the list. I want to know why he's doing it. So he does five things, right?
Starting point is 00:58:15 This is a list about how to stay poor. I don't need to read this list. I don't know how to read that. But you do have to read it ironically. Number three is believe that you don't need sacrifices. And then number four is wait until you get a push. And number five is wait for approval. And he says, damn approval, which I don't know.
Starting point is 00:58:30 So what is this? The opposite of five more things? Make the training ground your second room. No explanation of that one. What does that mean? So the training ground. No, this is the opposite of the opposite. So he's saying that this is how you get rich.
Starting point is 00:58:46 Right, but how is that the opposite of eating seeds? So, for instance, Bill Gates. Bill Gates made the training ground his second room, obviously. Well, he's quiet and gentle. Right, and he works best on islands. That's why he's always on them. He's on island time. That's his second room was Epstein's Island.
Starting point is 00:59:02 On island time, time moves faster because, like, a day is a month or whatever. He's always mentoring young women. That's true, too. I mean, you should get to know young women. The X-Men have a danger room. That's so true. How often do they sleep there? Number two, use Cerebro.
Starting point is 00:59:19 Oh, we're just joking about that, though. Only Charles can use that. This is satire. I don't know. Live on purpose. Live on purpose. Believe in your ability to figure things out. Know that most people are ignorant.
Starting point is 00:59:36 The explanation of live on purpose is create a need for money. Create a need for money. You need a better reason to live. This is supposedly what Lorne Michaels tells all the SNL people He says buy an apartment you can't afford So that you're always trying to work harder By the way don't eat your seed
Starting point is 00:59:54 Pump down the gullet I had lunch with Lorne Michaels And he wasn't eating any of the Pepitas on his Chilaquiles Make a point about eating your seed I really like the idea of telling someone To pump the gullet
Starting point is 01:00:11 Come down their gullet Pump it down the gullet, see what happens Just keep your gullet in good shape I'll say that I said to Paul McCartney, you need to pump some cum down your gullet That seems like something he would do The Beatles were always farting And jacking off together
Starting point is 01:00:26 And going crazy together They're straight up pump lords though For real Well this advice is big money, I think Let me do one more, Jeremy Just one more All right, all right, all right. Just one more.
Starting point is 01:00:42 Go to the Quoker. Okay, I was going to say that one also. Okay, we're going to the Manosphere here. These are our Quoker questions. They're both really good. Which do you prefer? Okay, I want to do the first one, honestly. Let's do it.
Starting point is 01:00:56 It's kind of a loose association, but I stand by it. Should a girl go running in jeans, or is that not okay? Claire's in the other room, but she didn't laugh. We're in the other room laughing. We got a laugh from Claire. I had to fill my water glass. i'm gonna say that's not okay yeah that is not what you want to run in sorry for what you should run in jeans though you're gonna wear out your damn jeans guys definitely that's what the x-men
Starting point is 01:01:21 are doing in the danger room right there in their jeans while they're training well they train like they were caught unawares by the enemy so in that case you would be wearing jeans training in jeans is a really good idea actually it's like running in sand okay it's like the the the force against he will make you stronger. I can imagine Goku wearing shorts, right? Like, Goku would never wear shorts, and he's really good at training. I thought he was wearing shorts.
Starting point is 01:01:46 He wears, like, baggy pants. He's wearing, like, loose pants. Sometimes capris. But they're very heavy pants, mind you. The Alex is desperate to get on the mic to talk about Goku. The legs of the pants, they'll be blown off. Wait, no, hold on.
Starting point is 01:01:57 Wait, I actually have a lot to say about this. Wait, think about this. Frieza could damage his pants, which would make them shorts, but they don't start as shorts. and that's why he's not in those is because then
Starting point is 01:02:09 but here's the thing like Toriyama knows that shorts aren't cool so Frieza would never blow his short halfway off like shorts he would have to like
Starting point is 01:02:16 blow a hole in them to make them look cool right like he's always gonna look cool right they'd have to be long shorts at least he could wear
Starting point is 01:02:23 like 2000 style Janko shorts Vegeta would wear jeans I think that would be pretty cool if Goku fought Frieza in Jankos it would just add
Starting point is 01:02:34 like a really relatable element to goku i think people are looking for this is the main oh you don't find him relatable i guess it's because you're a beta man now i'm just saying i could find it more relatable we should read the comments on the jeans question yeah yeah uh charles wolf says a girl can go running in anything she likes so yes it is okay so true ally why are you trying to tell women how to run charles is a fashion advisor oh interesting i guess that makes sense jordan kennedy says you can certainly go running whenever you want to wear but be aware that jeans will become uncomfortable very quickly they aren't designed to keep you cool and non-sweaty like workout
Starting point is 01:03:11 leggings so you will be sweating quite a bit that's really the point of exercising yeah that's true that's how you know you're getting a good workout is if you're sweating in your jeans it is not the point of the exercising though i gotta object to that okay well kenny 400 who lives in philadelphia says leggings are more cute for women to run in but i know some great jeans fit for running Jeans.com. Shout out Jeans.com. Sponsor of the week, Jeans.com. This guy's a paid shill. You know he's working for Jeans.com.
Starting point is 01:03:37 We are on Jeans.com and it is a website. Yeah, of course it is. All jeans are here. You can buy jeans on it. Where, is it like the jeans store? Is it just the concept of jeans? It's a website for jeans. Sure, but which ones? I don't know, man.
Starting point is 01:03:53 Do you want me to click on some jeans and see what the company is? Hey, I just blew in here. Yacht Club. All different kinds of jeans from all over the world. Is there a search bar to look for running jeans on here? There's a picture of a guy running in his jeans. Was there? Check it out.
Starting point is 01:04:08 Oh, yeah, look at that. Oh, my God, he is. But that's a boy. Cool denim for boys. Wait, that's for boys. Boys can do that. Boys are always sort of doing that. I love wearing cool denim.
Starting point is 01:04:18 Girls should not do that. What do these shirts say? These shirts are all insane. Stars, stripes, and snacks. why do these like ai written shirts i think this was queen city garage this is for america 250 a lot of these i think oh i see they kind of thought that people are gonna be wearing america stuff i like buying a shirt like this and people are just like oh do you go to the donut day club you're like no i don't know what this is i just bought this i bought this on jeans.com i bought this
Starting point is 01:04:47 shirt on jeans.com i go to jeans.com and i see what cool shirts they have like four of these It's for the Donut Date Club. What is the Donut Date Club? Don't worry about that. It's so cute. The baby's in the little love club. So there's other clubs you could join on jeans.com. It's the denim destination.
Starting point is 01:05:05 Wow. Oh, you can shop by person. It was like Derek and Natalia. Rodrigo, Lionel, Derek, and Natalia. What's Natalia saying? Does she have any good running jeans on hers? No, she's just posting about jackets mostly. actually okay well that could be good to pick up in the summer when it's cheap i gotta be honest
Starting point is 01:05:28 this is this is nothing this isn't a podcast jeans.com isn't you're right it's the idea of jeans.com is a really awesome thing to talk about but i do love that it seems to not be predominantly jeans yeah it's a lot of jackets actually non-denim jackets this is just a blazer people write in jackets.com but somehow jeans.com is still open damn that's interesting people write in all the time to tell us how they appreciate we don't have ads so it's good to just do long investigations of companies of different websites kind of without the money just to show that we mean it do you think they show boobs on butts.com oh we should like it on butts.com let's go to butts.com it's you guys's you know we're on you guys's browser jeremy did it all caps he did
Starting point is 01:06:17 in all caps. I don't know why that was in caps lock for that. He got really excited. Oh, come on. There's no butts.com. Somebody's got to buy that. Okay, no, there's a virus on butts.com. It says that you can't go because it might try to steal your credit card. But don't worry, I can just go through it. No, don't go.
Starting point is 01:06:33 You're going to come flying on that valuable, right? How scared Alex got as I pretended to go to butts.com. Jeremy is much more advanced at the computer than I am. Oh, wait, hold on. Wait, there's butts with a couple of S's.
Starting point is 01:06:49 This is actually more fitting for the podcast because those S's could be dollar signs. They could be. All right, click on butts.com. Apparently you can use these gifts for your pitch deck. Oh, these are great illustration. What the fuck is this website? These are cute.
Starting point is 01:07:10 Cartoon butts. Explain what we're looking at. This is drawings of butts that are gifts and there's like hundreds of them and they're all different ones like Vampire Bud and Shivering Bud and Space Bud. Frida Butlow. That's funny.
Starting point is 01:07:26 Did you see at the bottom that you can request a butt? Oh, hell yeah. Or at the top, I mean. What about Boobs Butt? Was there a Boobs Butt? There's no boob. There was an eyeball one that kind of looked like one. Yeah, I thought the eyeball one was going to be Boobs Butt, but it was just an eyeballs.
Starting point is 01:07:42 Now that's just raw. I like the clapping butt. it's kind of uh boobs like um but this but you can request those hey this is fun should we do a listener question and get out of here let's do it let's go ahead if you would like to send us a quora style question please go to our gmail orators at gmail.com and contribute for our recurring segment is that okay is that okay i always try to find ones that like our names There's one called goku.m4a. It might be on topic.
Starting point is 01:08:18 Let me see where Goku is. We do not click on these until we do the podcast. Please try to keep it under 30 seconds if you can. If he were a famous and talented jazz musician, as he certainly would be, what instrument would Goku play? Would he have one that he particularly favored or was really good at or any that he didn't like or wasn't as good at?
Starting point is 01:08:41 if he was a jazz musician first off goku would rap he wouldn't have the time to learn an instrument at the very least scat his body is his instrument yeah i don't see him having the patience to learn jazz sucks so bad he would be a barstool guy in real life he'd be like the kind of guy like he'd be like a really talented athlete like you really admire him and then you hear him talk about dating or whatever and you're like I can't really copy what this guy does I think he would be on Instagram posting a photo of himself with a blank pad of paper
Starting point is 01:09:15 that just says book at the top and he hasn't written anything there'd be a lot of posts that start with day one he's just Vin Diesel is who he is he's posting about sets he's not on he'd be posting his Bart Simpson sketch like LeBron
Starting point is 01:09:30 I think he would have to just play ancillary percussion right he's not going to learn to play an instrument but he likes to beat stuff up so he'd play some bongos or sure i guess my only concern is that he's gonna break the percussion when he's so strong even if he really dials it down does he ever play any instrument in dragon ball is there ever an episode where goku's jeremy no not once okay i don't know he's interested in the arts very much he likes food did he meet frankenstein yes has he played an instrument he's fought surely not yeah he fought hitler yeah like a bunch i mean he does good stuff i love his work
Starting point is 01:10:08 no he does isn't the hitler in dragon ball he's in a movie i think he's in bio broly oh is he really wow i hate that you made me say that that's awesome i had no idea i didn't know they made him into like daffy duck like that well hell opens up and then i believe gotenks kills hitler it's so easy to kill hitler for any of these you don't even need to fuse to kill hitler come on It's crazy in this world that Hitler was there because like a dog is the president. Yeah. It's like not our world. Well, the whole joke with it is that they have blonde hair and blue eyes when they get stronger.
Starting point is 01:10:42 So Hitler's kind of like, well, he's kind of fucking with say, yeah, he says, like, I'll have what they're having. Right. Yeah. Yeah. It's kind of a little laugh. I think it's nice to see Japanese entertainment saying that Hitler was bad. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 01:10:55 That's good of them because they were kind of homies during that whole thing. Yeah. Yeah. They linked up with disastrous results. Yeah. They let him cook too long. Yeah, you don't want to see them cook too much when those two countries link up.
Starting point is 01:11:07 Do not let Hitler cook. Well, to answer the question, it would probably be rapping or some kind of scatting thing. 100%. I think that's right, because he's the group in fear, so he has to be the one in front. He's the one talking. I don't like calling Goku the group in fear.
Starting point is 01:11:21 He's like the group in fear. He's the group in fear. He is. He is. He is unobtrusively the group in fear. He's an alpha. That's going to be the show. Charles, thank you so much for coming on
Starting point is 01:11:32 Of course, anytime Where can our listeners find you at Home and Abroad? Well, you know, E1's the obvious thing But fuck E1 I've also got a more recent show called Trouble in River City It's a super group of sorts With Hessa Denny from Seeking Derangements Dan Beckner from Wolf Parade
Starting point is 01:11:47 And Riley Quinn from Trash Future Where we just talk about scams So if you guys want to learn For instance, how to use another man's horse To obtain silk This is a 17th century Chinese scam that we covered recently. It sounds confusing, but it makes a lot of sense when you actually learn the scam.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Yeah, I'm very invested in learning things like that and kind of making more use out of my horse. Well, another man's horse. You don't even need a horse to do this scam. Right. Should I explain it or should we wrap up? No, I was like, you don't explain it. We'll take as much time as we need.
Starting point is 01:12:21 When you see another man with a fancy horse, you know he's wealthy, right? This horse is very nice. Um, and so you talk to him, like you're interested in some sort of business transaction, but, uh, once you've kind of convinced him of this, you say, wait here, I need to go into the store for a minute. And you leave your umbrella with the man with the horse. You go to the shopkeeper who's, who has silk and you say, I would like to peruse your silk and go bring it to my associate. And you can see, I'll be back. Cause my, my, uh, umbrellas there and my associate has this fancy horse.
Starting point is 01:12:51 So I'm trustworthy. So he trusts you. So he gives you the silk and you abscond with the silk. Then the store owner goes to the stranger you met and says, your associate ran away with my silk. And the guy on the horse says, that wasn't even my associate. I don't know the guy. And then you go to like a magistrate who wisely adjudicates the situation
Starting point is 01:13:09 saying, ah, you were both scammed actually by the man who used another man's horse to obtain silk. So using our prejudices commonly held about horses, one could get away with murder. It really is interesting how much respect you have from just having a horse near you. Because the horse... Shopkeepers will just trust you.
Starting point is 01:13:29 Because, well, this guy obviously has got his act together. Yeah, and I left my umbrella next to him, so I'm coming back for that. Right. Obviously. The horse means power. It means big money. Back then and today.
Starting point is 01:13:41 That's something you can... I think that actually fits into the theme of cash and respect more than pretty much everything we've talked about. Well, I tried really hard, but there were a lot of very serious people doing business advice on Korra, and I was kind of surprised at how not funny it was. I respect Goku.
Starting point is 01:13:56 So that was kind of some respect we got. Thank God Goku came up again. That's it for our show this week. If you would like another episode every Thursday, I have great news for you. Yes, check out Amy Poehler. Just Google her. Yeah, check out Amy Poehler.
Starting point is 01:14:13 Check out 30 Rock. Listen to her on E1. Good Amy. Episode one has a second episode, I know. And that's probably it. We do have a Patreon where we do one as well, but we're mostly just watching Chinese vertical movies over there now. At this point, yeah, it's all Chinese vertical.
Starting point is 01:14:29 It's actually the best idea we've ever had. See, on Trouble in River City, we're cultured, and we read about Chinese scams from the 17th century, and you're getting scammed by 21st century slop. Yeah, I guess that's kind of true. It's kind of the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. It feels like substitute teacher in class day every week. Yes, the best.
Starting point is 01:14:48 Oh, pedagogy. That's right. I thought you would relate to that because of the pedagogical implications. Okay, I'm editing this podcast. Thanks for listening, everybody. And until next week, question everything. Bye-bye. Peace and love.
