Starting point is 00:00:00 Are all of your needs met? Thank you for checking in with me. As a podcaster? Yeah, no, we're good. As a woman? We're recording. As a woman, as a beautiful woman. You look the same as the day I met you.
Starting point is 00:00:13 I don't think that's true. You were much younger. Yeah, it's true. I was in college. I lied for clout, and I'm sorry. Clay, you look the same. Thank you. I just met you today.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Yeah. About the same. It's been a couple minutes. Same clothes. I haven't even changed. I've been sweating more, I think. Bro, you kind of got the Grinch jacket. Yeah, I'm kind of Grinched up.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Because Jeremy's got that jacket. Do you really? No, I have a green jacket. It's pretty much Alex's all jackets are green. They're not just the green fleece. That's the Grinch. If it's green fleece, it's Christmas now. It was between this one and another green fleece today.
Starting point is 00:00:50 All right, there you go. I have that one. How do you choose? I wanted to look cool, so I wore this. I need a hood you know well buddy it's working um how do you want me to introduce you should I say your full name yeah do you have a performer tag no that'd be kind of sweet if comedians had like a beat beat producer tags when they like people say like I think what like we all talk about it in a closed setting we're like it would be sick if my name was maestro and then you meet
Starting point is 00:01:21 a comedian who's like this is teddy laughs and you're like what a fucking idiot i knew so many of those when i was i think i've talked about this on like before but when i uh was in college at a stand-up upstate in new york and like everyone had a fucking name there was this guy who went by country boy fudge that's a hell of a name and then you're like that's apparently three jeremy it's like how do i follow country boy fudge there was a guy in binghamton who went by a Mr. Swag comic. Oh, damn it. That's kind of a beast name.
Starting point is 00:01:50 It's so goofy. I think all of them are pretty good so far. Yeah. Do you have a bad example? One guy went by Face. Yeah, I'm not crazy about Face. Face is kind of crazy.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Yeah. Face, I would expect some, like, shocking comedy from. Big Earn. Big... Eh. That's a pretty normal one. No, E-R-N.
Starting point is 00:02:11 He's a very big guy. He had a writer. Oh, yeah. Wrote all his jokes. Yeah. That rules. We had a show that I was on all the time called Big Earned Round Table of Comedy. And he'd go, because we're all equal here.
Starting point is 00:02:24 And there's just like a nerd in the background, like furiously scribbling and handing him notes. Yeah. Tell that guy he's fat. But he did every single show, he did the same joke about how eating pussy is like grilled cheese. Oh. No, it's not. There's no butter or dairy involved. It's incredibly different.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Someone wrote that and it wasn't him. They can do it in Asia. sure these are jokes i'm writing for big earn later he's still around i think does he have an email can we submit i'm sure i'm sure we can after orson scott card we'll get big earn oh i'd all right let's start the show and we're back on quarators it's another week on the internet with your host alex and jeremy i'm alex and i'm jeremy we're the guys who do the show if you don't know who we are interesting start yeah that's right uh but we got a we got a great new uh episode for you we're excited to explore new territory every week here on season three
Starting point is 00:03:36 after we've been fired for truth which we won't speak of anymore right now but uh visiting the studio today and uh doesn't seem to be allergic to my cat maybe uh we have comedian clay parks clay hey what's up how are your eyes feeling uh they're gonna stir water i am allergic to cats but i do love cats yeah okay yeah i've uh stopped telling people yeah i figured if it's bad they'll leave and we'll figure it out we should really i'm gonna try and kiss your cat so it's like i'm gonna get worse which i did warn you is like pretty dangerous oh yeah i'll wait until they're comfortable he's like uh he's sharp as hell he has no teeth though so the face is safe wait there's no teeth we had to pull like 11 teeth oh no he was uh the teeth couldn't he
Starting point is 00:04:19 couldn't keep those anyway you ever been on quora yeah of course okay great yeah it's kind of the best it's the questions website yeah yeah uh so that's really all you need to know going into this i'm trying to i'm really focusing on spending less time explaining what the show is at the top because i imagine that's insane if you listen to a few of these yeah i had a i had tommy kind of give me the rundown oh cool also i listened to like half an episode so i could be ready that's More than anyone does to be on a podcast. I like to study, you know? We had some people on a few weeks ago,
Starting point is 00:04:55 the Talking Simpsons podcast, were like, we listened to four or five episodes and I was like, you're the most prepared guest I've had on any show my entire life. You do. And more prepared than I've ever been. Yeah, he had notes for me. If I go on it, yeah, I should know the vibe.
Starting point is 00:05:09 We're going to jump right into the show today with our new segment that is sweeping the nation. That is, of course, Tips for Men. Tips for Men! Every week we give out tips for men because they need our help. They're so unswagged right now. Which we will throw to the guest on this
Starting point is 00:05:32 to see if they have anything they'd like to say. But if you don't have a tip for men, that is your right. I mean, I could have a tip for men. Oh, sure. You probably just need a moment now that I've surprised you with a segment that doesn't match Quora at all.
Starting point is 00:05:48 No, it's cool. man be yourself that's pretty good that's it so many men are other men i've noticed yeah i'm trying to learn this myself right now and so i'm trying to be more myself okay okay sure yeah all of batman's villains are other than yeah bradley cooper was maestro oh is that who that was i only know maestro from doing comedy upstate that's that's so cool man i'm so happy for him yeah uh well if you're a man be yourself maestro is already taken good that's wrapped up i didn't have anything this week good i wrote down like five ideas the first time we did this and now i've done them all okay we we every week we end
Starting point is 00:06:35 with a quora we that we wrote on quora so we have to read the comments from that one so last week we wrote um how do i get more women to listen to my podcast this is the most helpful like actually practical question we've ever put on the website that's a great question to ask um no one has answered other than our listeners really dude i got a notification that we have like the most views we've ever gotten this week i think because we put woman in the title people on quora were like how do i where are they i was taking a look at this earlier this week to find out how i get more women to listen to my podcast it's tough really answered you know we needed you to fill it out yeah we got clay here we're dying up here now we're gonna figure it out together
Starting point is 00:07:17 um so i think something we could do is maybe discuss horses more um yeah that's true women love horses right which we've been doing yeah recently but i think like we've also been getting more female listeners so i think that's the horses right one of our listeners said um you can have a segment at the end of every episode called tips for women that way women will have to stay for the whole episode in order to get this hot tip only for women oh at the end yeah at the end that's so smart well i don't know if i am qualified to give advice to women oh no you would have to sit your white ass down to i guess whoever our guest is who's advising sure yeah i would feel bad for i would never want to advise a woman in anything because i don't feel like i'm good at it's
Starting point is 00:08:03 interesting you two say that because i feel like i have a lot of ideas yeah i just don't want to be rude first of all change your face stuff like that i'm throwing out a lot we're gonna get there we're gonna get very tired of tips for men any day sure and then eventually start doing tips for women but the idea to put it at the end so they have to wait to get there is pretty good women be yourself be a man that's my tip for women amanda binds thinks you should be a man in that one film um i'm trying to see what else uh keep talking about how few women listen to your podcast at least once per episode should do it in short uh in order to make your existing women listeners feel included thank you britney thank you um yeah we want you to stay yeah it's
Starting point is 00:08:49 just an issue we're acknowledging with the program um thirdly speak on a wide range of women's specific interest topics such as circumcision peeing standing up or having totally normal penis just a baffling amount of phallocentrism in general i don't know how to not do that is my problem it's the show is on quora that can't change it's the name of the podcast that's like mostly like entries from when i was 15 being like how do i do anything that's uh 40 of the input onto the website it's perfect um okay well then it sounds like we have very little to change. It's exciting for me, I think. We'll have to use these lessons moving forward on today's theme of the week, which is, of course, overcoming adversity. I wrote great
Starting point is 00:09:40 adversity, so it's not like a small amount. I like that. Clay, have you ever been through adversity? Probably. Yeah. If you have the right attitude, it doesn't even feel like it. Yeah, I mean, honestly, if you smoke enough weed, you don't even notice until, like, you're fucked, and then you're just like, I'll figure it out. Oh, I'm in a cage. Oh, no. Oh, no, the goblins, they got me in a cage.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Clay's reading Lord of the Rings right now. I'm trying to make this related. Yeah, they just found where the trolls were turned to stone. Oh, yeah, yeah, from The Hobbit. They were going to throw them in that pot and make a stew. That's adversity, is reading a book, I think. Yeah, I think that's true. That's hard.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Yeah. I thought you were going to say, like, what Bilbo was going through. I guess, yeah, that was inadvertent. That was kind of crazy, too. If, like, being pursued by an army of spiders is an adversity, I don't know. It's the scariest shit in the world. They're the size of orcs.
Starting point is 00:10:42 They're big. They're too big. All right. This is, hit the Naruto sound, because this is the Quokker. Their segment, the Quokker, which is our Manosphere segment. Okay. Yeah, it's like the Joker, but on Quokker. Okay, this question.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Hypothetically, what happens if someone who has a black belt in a martial art shows up to a military boot camp in their uniform? Will the drill instructors still hassle them, or will they realize that that would be kicking the wrong dog? You do not want to kick the wrong dog. All dog owners know this. This is kind of like the drill sergeants. Would you rather fight one duck-sized horse or whatever?
Starting point is 00:11:20 Yeah, one rung-sized dog. Or tell one man in a gi to do push-ups. You want to kick the right dog when it comes to kicking dogs. Yeah, like a mischievous one. One who's only pretending to lie down. Right. I guess specifically for this example, how do you know they're not just dressing for the job they want sure showing up in their judo
Starting point is 00:11:48 uniform to leave a deadly weapon i guess the question really is the allegiance that this person has to karate sure or whatever martial art and then the army or america yeah are they are they trying to utilize their skills for the greater good of the country or are they trying to tear it down from the inside the last thing you want in a hot zone operation is for the guy next to you to turn his allegiance to the emperor what do you least expect can you imagine though you're like in a war and you just see like a battalion of all black belts like in their uniforms that'd be so crazy their form is textbook just a bunch of like white guys from alabama oh my god that's crazy that would scare the shit out of me
Starting point is 00:12:38 yeah there's a lot of a lot of people don't want you to do that so that's that's that's adversity right there as long as they get guns i feel like they're probably going to be just destroying people on the battlefield and the hand combat and range oh yeah absolutely what's that movie have you seen equilibrium yeah where they do the karate with guns jeremy you haven't seen i've not seen equal oh it's awesome it's christian bale and then the guy who plays boromir you're so lord of the rings i'm so in it right now it's like sean bean yeah i got it we pulled it out he was also in national treasure that's right he has he has a lot of roles where he's killed famously which is kind of funny it's a funny like uh niche to find yourself in as an
Starting point is 00:13:22 actor is like i'm the guy who you wish was still alive it's cool to be typecast as that guy because there's not a look for it but now there is like before it was just like yeah sometimes a guy dies and that sucks but it's always him dirty blonde hair when he dies in real life people are gonna all make the same shitty joke oh that'll be a sad day oh no and it will be full of arrows it will be yeah through the chest that'll be fun that'll be fun when that gets posted around if i'm still into the lord of the rings sure yeah you will be i mean i mean it's it's an enduring text yeah i'm almost i'm done with the first book of the like six of them you're just getting into it buddy i'm excited six of them are there three there's three but it's two books per three i'm sorry i'm
Starting point is 00:14:10 kind of derailing but yeah i'm trying to remember i thought you were just saying like i'm gonna read the silmarillion companion text oh yeah fucking tough dude those are gibberish yeah well i tried I think I gave, I mean, I was like 13 at the time, and it was like, first there was only sound, and then the voice said this, and it's like impossible. It's written like the Bible, but it's. Sounds good. But it's fake. Very hard to follow. Imagine.
Starting point is 00:14:42 If you will. Open your mind. Anyway. Back to this military question. Yeah, hypothetically, what would happen? I do like that it's a hypothetical as well. There's so many answers on this. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:14:54 I don't think, I can honestly say, I don't think this has ever happened. Really? Because a lot of people are like, I did this. No way. Yeah. J.R. Terrier, who's a former captain, armored cavalry at U.S. Army, said, I was that guy. Black belt in two martial arts earned in college. I joined the army to pay off debt.
Starting point is 00:15:12 I did not tell my drills about my martial arts experience. Oh, so he didn't then. I did it, I was ordered. So then, no, you didn't do it. Oh, he didn't even do the cool part. No. He just had a black belt. Who cares?
Starting point is 00:15:22 Did he wear a robe? this is the guy who's in the allegiance with america exactly he doesn't he's not he's not fucking with no he's keeping he has a secret allegiance yeah that's messed up you at least have to be honest with america so in no way did you do the thing then also they know that you're doing they know that you did that for sure you're always doing textbook judo rolls or trying to train the scrubs a lot of people have um stories about like how they were black belts or they knew someone was a black belt but no one who shows up in their uniform my time on this website has convinced me that if you use the words like as a black belt and then any question people will just
Starting point is 00:16:03 be like yeah i am a black belt let me say whatever shit i wanted to before i read this you would think they wouldn't have to talk about being a black belt so much since they actually have a black belt that they could just wear around yeah just talk talk talk is that does that where's the action where's the belt i just like imagine a guy like all right you're not watching the video just like thrusting a grenade away roundhouse kicking a grenade yeah i think if a lot more like dragon ball z style techniques were applicable i would be more compelled to join the military sure just to have access to those yes they teach you them because the thing about the military is like even if you learn how to
Starting point is 00:16:47 like kill a guy with your fingers or whatever like you probably won't need to yeah it's just not like applicable to you but flying around i could do that all the time if you really think about it, Oppenheimer invented the spirit bone. Took all of the earth's energy. I'm trying to see if there's any good comments. There's not really. I mean, people are just mad. They were really mad. What are you mad about? I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:17:14 This guy wrote a really long answer. There's a video of a crying woman here. Yeah. He says, by kicking the wrong dog, do you mean I'm too sad, pathetic, and stupid for you to pick on me? Because that's the only reaction you're likely to get but you want to play let's play a choose your own adventure for one mr tough guy and then it's so long whoa wait what's the choose your own adventure so the di the di comes over and sees you
Starting point is 00:17:38 wearing your finery he has a few options what he thinks you're a tough guy then he recognizes that beating down tough guys is literally part of his job uh in bold and italics and proceeds to do his job he interprets your antics as saying you're too good for basic training then decides to educate you on why it just ain't so or he says to himself gee that guy looks tough guess i gotta go report to my superiors because he was too tough for me to train properly because that's what professional soldiers do when they run into a roadblock yeah so number three ain't happening oh my god oh my goodness the only choose your own adventure book that tells you not to pick one right at the beginning um yeah then it just keeps going basically you can't kick the sergeant's ass
Starting point is 00:18:23 your drill sergeant's ass, otherwise they're going to probably kick yours. Yeah, they're a deadly soldier, I think he's saying, and that they're trained to eat guys like you for lunch. Later on he says, soldiers aren't fighters, they're killers. If you don't know the difference, clearly you don't deserve your black belt. Hey. Wow. Is it still in vower to wear a black belt, you think?
Starting point is 00:18:43 Oh, that's a good question for the end of the podcast. Oh, yeah, sure. That's got to be what we do this time because people are going to answer that. I'll write it down. That's good. we'll get a lot of clout for that that's a really good question Jeremy you writing down the question is a huge
Starting point is 00:18:57 revolution instead of us being like what did we say 45 minutes ago remember black belt question alright let's move on to another question because I don't care about these people's answers I'm sorry that we made you mad I don't like that everyone lied about it
Starting point is 00:19:13 lying is wrong yeah that's a bummer yeah oh I did this but I didn't tell anyone okay so you didn't do it You didn't even do it. He's a shit. You're the wrong dog. I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were Saruman, the great deceiver and hand with the eye.
Starting point is 00:19:32 That way you'll get there soon. I'm so excited. Gandalf hasn't been showing up, and I'm like, I know where you're at. Yeah, he's been busy. He's been busy. I can't wait to hear about it. Oh, man. I'll tell you, birds are involved in a big way.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Yes, big birds. Big birds. Shout out. What's the next question, Jeremy? Our lovely yellow friend. Can a great skillful sword fighter from the modern age incapacitate 20 attackers with his sword in a street fight? That's a lot of attackers, Jeremy. Okay.
Starting point is 00:20:02 20? In a street fight. In a sword street fight. Is your sword sharpens? I think you have to assume it. This is a skillful sword fighter. He could probably cleave through like two and a half guys. You have to get the drop on them.
Starting point is 00:20:17 This is a great, skillful sword fighter. This is a street fight, though, so they could have, like, chains or something. That's what I'm... What kind of weapons do they have? Are they coming in with guns? So if it's, like, the Warriors, and they have, like, one of every weapon... Okay. You know, kind of like classic, like, New York gangs rule, but one has, like, a scythe...
Starting point is 00:20:35 Right, they're all in baseball uniforms. ...and one has claws. Yeah. And the guy with the claws is named Claws. Yes, there you go. Yeah. But even though, like, you show up and you're, like, a street punk, you're from a hard neighborhood in Harlem in 1975.
Starting point is 00:20:48 They're just giving you a bo staff. Like, you don't necessarily have great skill with it. True, you just have a weapon. You have to figure that out. So I think you could kill at least five of those guys. 20 is a lot of guys. This is just Ghost Dog, right? Who's Ghost Dog?
Starting point is 00:21:05 Anyone know this movie? Is this a friend of yours? This is my good friend. So he did stand-up. Are you thinking of Brian from Family Guy? Because he's alive for a lot of years. Ghost Dog was a stand-up comedian in Big Up Now. That's a movie with
Starting point is 00:21:16 Forest Whitaker where he's like a samurai and he fights the mob. I would love to watch this. Cool movie. That sounds like a parallel to Blade almost. That's kind of sick. It's like a really slow version of Blade
Starting point is 00:21:32 made by Jim Jarmusch. As long as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles don't show up to your gang fight. I guess it really depends on the 20 warriors and the riff I was going to do on Jeremy's movie is that it's the sequel
Starting point is 00:21:46 to The Last King of Scotland, but the time has passed for that. I like that it's my movie. Yeah, your movie, Ghost Dog, that you invented just now based on Brian from Family Guy. Who is a ghost? He gets hit by a car.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Starring Forrest Whitaker. Brian from Family Guy. He's the wrong dog to kick. I was about to go do an impression of Forrest Whitaker and I was like, what does he even sound like? I've seen him do
Starting point is 00:22:11 like a hundred different voices. That's right. I know what he looks like. He does like it. Yeah, he's always, like, doing the eye thing. He has, like, one eye half closed. I don't think he's doing it. I think that's just his eye.
Starting point is 00:22:22 No, he's doing that. He's doing that. That's acting. I don't think it's a choice. The fact that you think it's not acting. Of course, you're going to do the eye thing this time? He's like, you know it, dog. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:33 That was pretty good. That was pretty good. So what if I am? You're just looking at the eye, though. The eye's doing all the work. Yeah, it's a good eye. That's requested by the directors in every film. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:47 By the way. Do the eye for us. So this time you're like a hard-boiled cop, but just one request before we start. Do you do that eye thing? Like you're kind of wincing the whole movie. It'd be crazier if that was in his rider. At the bottom of the rider it just says,
Starting point is 00:23:05 I gotta do it, parentheses, you know what. What was his question? Oh, the street fight. Oh, this is the 20 feet pole. Yeah, I think that you could. Yeah, I think so. I think so. I could if I was a skillful sword fighter.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Yeah, if you had the skillful sword. Does it say what kind of sword? No. If you are skillful and a sword fighter, I assume that a multitude of swords. Oh, sure. Fair enough. That's true.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Like the hit show Blue-Eyed Samurai that has recently been released on Netflix. Our show is not partnering with Netflix. We're their first free sponsorship. um okay this guy murphy barrett who i'm trying to oh he uh the american flag oh orson scott card follows this guy yeah dude orson scott card is really i think quora's algorithm has figured out we are like kindred spirits to him yeah well he's trying to send us his i don't know if we want to say that much well twin flames with orson scott card yeah we're both kind of like 90 year old
Starting point is 00:24:08 more um anyway this guy murphy barrett says uh if they are drunkards fools or determined to rush you at once heedless of injury no the swordsman is fucked 20 ruffians with normal survival instincts who just won an easy mark well he probably can't incapacitate them but he can probably fend them off possibly by killing or incapacitating a few of them and thereby convincing the rest that it's not worth the fight oh this guy's like seen this happen yeah a few times it sounds like this is why orson is following this guy because he's a sword oh his picture has a sword on him wait wait in the profile picture is it does he wearing and it looks like this from a distance the tall white hat of the queen's guard in england no no it's a beekeeper's mask yeah the fencer he's a
Starting point is 00:24:58 fencer he's holding a sword and he's wearing a veil of iron yeah he's getting married oh congratulations murphy barrett you don't know you're beautiful murphy barrett he he does follow a lot of like sword based spaces or weapon spaces that's one of the best uses for this website i think yeah it's for niche interests all right well that's that answer you can do it if they're not drunken fools that's kind of sweet release your inhibition i guess my question is so he's saying like if they are drunken fools they'll have a natural immunity right like if you're in a car crash how they you don't get hurt if you're drunk it's just an accident that's why it's cool to drink drink and drive that's kind of honestly that's kind of the craziest part of drinking
Starting point is 00:25:40 and driving is that guy never dies it's always the family he is and it's like holy shit because they tense up yeah oh yeah that's what it is that's real that's crazy so stressed it's because if you're drunk you just never tense up so your body's like looser yeah if you're getting a car crash and you're drunk you're probably like well i'll still probably get home you don't even see it coming there's all kinds of programs on that i don't normally watch at this hour also you can tackle a swordsman easily oh you move in an unorthodox pattern the blows aren't designed to incapacitate you yeah okay is there another answer yeah james hook says uh reminds me of a story which a barbarian pointed out that you only have to
Starting point is 00:26:24 learn to fight 10 men at once more than that have to wait around for one of their buddies to die before they can get into weapons range. Oh, yo. This is why the Barbarian in Diablo has the spin move. Because there's 10 and you spin. And you get all 10 of them. What Barbarian was this guy talking to?
Starting point is 00:26:46 I don't know. A big one? You probably don't know his name. Oh, yeah. He goes to another country. Those are basically all the answers. There's one more. That's a crazy thought. I haven't even thought of that.
Starting point is 00:27:00 You really can't cram like 20 guys on top of you unless they're like hurting each other too. They got to circle up. And you don't want them to circle up. No. You have to spin. I mean, yeah. There's no way that you can't spin.
Starting point is 00:27:12 And you might have to do a flip while you do it. Oh, sure. From what I've seen. That's like the sword version of like a dance-off. Yeah, that's the sword version of a dance-off. Yeah. I would say it's an exact one-for-one parallel. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:27:26 It's pretty much exactly the same. You want another question? Yes. Okay, this is... We have nine more. This is our religion segment, Corbett and Fruit. Yup. Nailing the buttons today.
Starting point is 00:27:40 Getting them on the first try so far. Oh, this is a good one. I've been a Christian for 14 years now. Why can't I speak in tongues? It is causing confusion, and I'm afraid I'll stumble because of it. You'll stumble doing what? Talking in tongues. How would we know?
Starting point is 00:27:56 Probably stumble in faith. I could see that. That's so wise of you. I could see you being like, why can't I talk tongues yet? Is God not real? Maybe he's not real. Maybe tongues isn't real. Have I been worshiping the deceiver?
Starting point is 00:28:15 Speaking in tongues doesn't seem like something you're supposed to look forward to. I think it just either happens or it doesn't. And I feel like most of the time I've seen it happen on a viral video. So it is not real. No, it's the fakest thing. It's the fakest thing in the world. I like Jesus. He's cool.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Sure, the tongues thing, it's out of control. You're just speaking in tongues because you want me to think you're cool. Yeah. I would never fuck with someone who spoke in tongues like that. Vibes are off. I think the idea is so at a high enough level of faith, you unlock a new language. Sure.
Starting point is 00:28:52 The faith tree is full. Priests should explain the level system when you join. Right. Because this is not, this is different than that. Yeah, I think that is the idea though, right? That like you get so good at being Christian that you just start, you make up a new language. Yeah. You're praying so hard that like even you don't know what it means.
Starting point is 00:29:12 You think there's a power system. That's kind of sick. Yeah. That is fun. How do you know it's not like a Cthulhu language though or some shit like that? Right. You wouldn't know. You would just have enough faith that you don't think it's Cthulhu
Starting point is 00:29:23 because you're actually very Christian. When you went to Catholic school, did you ever have to speak in tongues? No, we didn't have to speak in tongues. I don't know, dude. That's like a Baptist thing. I don't know. I don't know that shit. Yeah, Catholics don't fuck with that vibe.
Starting point is 00:29:34 No, we do not play with that. You speak in Latin, which is- We think that's silly. Which is a tongue. We have a dead language from 800 AD we have to talk in. It's so sick. Du-wah-dick-ick-fing-dick-in-Victorium. I re-watched Boondock Saints recently.
Starting point is 00:29:50 They talk in Latin a lot. Oh, really? Yep. And it sounds so silly. It's so funny. It's like Boston accent Latin the entire movie. I have a friend who in college spoke Latin and had like a Latin fetish. And to this day, they only date people who speak Latin.
Starting point is 00:30:09 So they can fucking speak Latin together. Wow. If they're listening to this, sorry, I told everyone. Tell me you're a self-hating gall without telling me you're a self-hating gall. i feel like the latin community must be so small that like if someone listens they know who that is yeah it's probably like a high school band yeah yeah what do you say latin community do you mean the vatican no i i don't know i mean people there's people who like speak latin and they're trying to like revive it there's not a lot of them there's guys like not a lot of them is it
Starting point is 00:30:41 is it for funsies or are they like weird i mean if they're this person is a fetish so i mean i say It's both. I don't understand how it's a fit. That sounds like you actually are possessed by the devil. My friend dated them, and he had to role play as a Roman soldier. Oh, well, that's actually very sexy. That's kind of sick. Because if you were like a armored kilt or whatever.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Those are the two options, really. It's like Roman soldier or like ghost. Yeah. Or a demon. Probably a satanic demon. I might as well be a Roman. I would much rather be a Roman than a ghost. Then a ghost.
Starting point is 00:31:17 I would agree with that. It's a lesser of two evils thing. It's like voting in that you can either be a Centurion or a Spawn from Hell. Sure. Those are the two. Those are the two parties. Not to expose my anti-Centurion bias on the show, but... Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:32 So which one are you? Are you a demon from Hell? No, I'm not a demon from Hell. I have to vote Centurion every time. And I think of my privilege when I do it. Sure. I think of the people that ghosts have hurt. Little girls.
Starting point is 00:31:46 But what about what they've done to the Gauls? Well, it's not good, but it's the best we got. Latin-wise. Let's see if there's any answers to this. There appears to be a bunch. There's so many. Karen West, who's a business owner at Dog Sitting, says, God gives different gifts to everyone.
Starting point is 00:32:10 I have been a Christian for over 30 years, and I can't speak in tongues. Sounds like you suck at being Christian, Karen. Skill issue. God has given me different gifts, such as compassion, being a servant, and my ability to be friends with everyone. Those are the worst gifts to get from God. Being a servant? That sucks. That's like the number one Christian thing, too.
Starting point is 00:32:30 I clean so fast after dinner. Sure. What are your powers, dog? My gift from God is that I can fly. What's yours? Oh, I'm a servant. Oh, I'm very humble. I put others before
Starting point is 00:32:45 myself. I can be friends with anyone. Okay. I think kindness rocks. Terrible gift to get. Let's get another answer. No Christian should be speaking in tongues today. The gift of tongues no longer exists or is necessary.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Interesting. So when was that phased out? Apparently 33 AD. Really? So it's been a bit, huh? Yeah, it's been a little while. Did they get those translate books figured out by then? Is that what happened? Yeah, they all started speaking English around then.
Starting point is 00:33:19 It's around when Duolingo came in. All the disciples just flipping through like, Hola. Yeah, they spoke a lot of Spanish back then. Te amo. Speaking in tongues is fake, according to Tipping Point. If you want to speak in tongues, you'll have to fake it. Just blather some mindless nonsense.
Starting point is 00:33:41 All right, there's a picture of a girl. but that's like that's a sex she's sticking her tongue out that's a sex thing i think um yeah i don't know i don't like the guy who should fake it yeah that's not what this is about you don't even you don't even know god like that you can't give out commands i think you're going to hell if you fake tongue just immediately that's blaspheme that makes a lot of sense at the gate yeah yeah i think that works like if you're so into it you want to then you definitely believe in it and are also being bad and you're gonna be poked with a pitchfork for a thousand years you're trying so hard to
Starting point is 00:34:19 be friends with god right now he doesn't even like you he doesn't even like you he loves you you're his only child and you're made in his image actually maybe you should try being a fucking servant for once have you tried tending his garden time talent and treasure somewhere else maybe that was big when we were when i was in catholic school oh time talent and treasure yeah how long were you in catholic school until fourth grade what's your bid my how many years you do i did i did uh yeah kindergarten to fourth grade that's a tight i did get confirmed though because my mom was like you have to do it they sent you back yeah i got one more job we gotta ask what's the confirmation name uh shit i think it's francis i don't remember
Starting point is 00:35:07 i'm jerome because they let me pick that's basically my name yeah i i wanted to be just like you so i'm jewish but my parents are like barely jewish right so like they tried to give me a me and my sister hebrew names but they don't know any hebrew so they named me shalom which is hello that's a great one the one word they do you're like the onion of judaism yeah yeah and i keep it also means peace it's hello goodbye and peace but it's like but hello is a big one to be named that might be the only word i know in hebrew me too oh in hebrew i don't know how you're gonna pull this off tongues in english right now mindless it's going flowing through hello is the only word i know
Starting point is 00:35:56 basically talking to god right now yeah podcasting is his medium and now i'm going to hell that's it's gone too far now it's over you're faking english he's peeved yeah yeah i'm faking english right now but all joking aside five years is pretty good five years i did a tight i did a tight nine nine years yeah in the comedy industry we call it tight nine years in catholic school then when they separated the girls from the boys i said i am not interested that's what separates the girls from the boys it's the high school that makes you wear different clothes all right let's do another question because please how is so many how would atheists react if i laid a spike stripped it strip in your driveway so when you left the house you destroyed
Starting point is 00:36:43 your car all right so poorly first of all i don't have a car that's true you played yourself new york baby no i'd be crazy though to come out of your i don't know i feel like you'd see i feel like you'd see that unless it was like right up at the garage yeah was that a spike strip well you have to imagine that a red shell yeah this is mario i'm just saying if you're already assessing for traps you're in a certain setting and it is rainbow road wahoo i just feel like you'd look out at your driveway and be like what the fuck is that right i don't have grass made of metal there but i don't believe in god so yeah what does that have to do with being atheist oh you know what this is those are those vengeful christians next door
Starting point is 00:37:31 i'm always shirking them they're mocking their beliefs they're always up to antics that bother me because i hate them they're always presenting me with weapons yeah but if this happened to me i would be like what the hell that's probably out of the bushes It's like, ah, so you do believe in hell. Yes. Well, I would after this. Yeah. God damn it.
Starting point is 00:37:57 I would probably think God did it. If I randomly had spike strips in my driveway and I ran over them, I would be like, I am being punished somehow. This was God or the devil. I'm religious now. It would make me religious now. That's my reaction. All right.
Starting point is 00:38:09 So it works. Okay, great. You should do it. Successful. Damn, that's so funny. This question is from today, too. This is the only one of these where I've been like, this is a good idea. read so many of them. It's a more subtle
Starting point is 00:38:22 effect than breaking into their house with a gun. Yeah. But I think you can achieve the same. Yeah, breaking into the house with a gun is, um, it really paints you as the villain in a way that leaves God out of it. Yeah, first of all, it's illegal. Half of the answers on here are saying that
Starting point is 00:38:38 by the way, spike strips do not destroy your car, just your tires. That's the main thing of a car, as far as I'm concerned. Guess what? You need those to go. Guess what? I'm running on spokes. um cars have spokes they got rims rims rims are i'm a bike guy you own a car you actually do have a car and i don't have a bike
Starting point is 00:39:02 i wish cars had spokes that'd be cool as shit yeah do you ride on the side yeah get your little homie on the back oh that'd be so sick having pegs on your tires oh italian clay has logged on oh um this guy herb fellow says going to the hospital the spike strip pounded into your head would take some explaining i don't see how that's related yeah yeah it would i would kill you oh your own spike strip fuck you there is no god this guy lives in new york Oh, that makes sense. He's answering the atheist questions.
Starting point is 00:39:45 All of his answers are about Trump and Biden. He's answered like 10 questions about Trump and Biden in the last few hours. He's a political operator. That's right. He's going to kill you with a spike strip. That's a scary thing to me. Getting killed with a spike strip
Starting point is 00:40:03 and also by a political guy. I hope I'm on the good side of the death. My last words are like, don't leave the state out of it. I'm having spikes pounded into my neck. He's a big Joe Biden guy. He's a laser eyes. He's a dark Brandon guy. He's a dark Brandon guy.
Starting point is 00:40:22 And he kills you with a spike strip. Yeah. Damn. You don't like the economy, Mac? Well, guess what? I kill you. I like paying $12 for eggs. Get on the spike strip.
Starting point is 00:40:37 It's actually really good right now for homeowners. There's not really any good answers here. Okay. So would you be a would-be criminal who does not care about your fellow man? And what have you got against atheists? Oh, reverse it on them. Typical Christian ideology. Show them that they are the ones who should have a spike strip on their car.
Starting point is 00:40:58 You know who else had a spike strip go through their tires? I was just thinking about this, about how the crown of thorns is kind of a spike strip for the head. All right. Yeah, I can see that. And that was laying upon the tires of his scalp. But it didn't destroy his body. And that's just one thing they did. They also took like a bat to the frame.
Starting point is 00:41:18 Yeah. They made him carry that fucking cross all the way up the hill. Oh, yeah. That's a heavy load. That's crazy. They pretty much treated him like a cyber truck. Hold on. He took a bat to the frame?
Starting point is 00:41:28 Yeah, which is a whip to his back. Oh, okay. I thought you were with a baseball bat. They're like, fuck you, Jesus. No, they hadn't invented those yet. I guess they had clubs. Yeah. it wouldn't have like a louisville slugger yeah like an aluminum badge
Starting point is 00:41:42 fuck you jesus shit okay the wrong neighborhood of judea but they're all speaking in latin and jesus never mind i'm not gonna say that i take that back there's a lot of bridge too far my bad jesus i'm not even that christian but i don't even think you're a car yeah and she is going to listen by the way she loves our show Can you speak in tongues? Have you done it? Have you tried? I'm so excited my son is going on. I'm going to ask him what things are gay.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Okay, let's move on to forbidden knowledge. Let's switch it up. No more tongues. The unknown. Okay, this question has no answers. You got this, Cora. how do i sign out of quora just closing the app does not seem safe or logical it's 421 me time i need to feed the cats it's 421 somewhere we have that we should answer this question
Starting point is 00:42:48 this has a lot of misdirections in it i gotta feed the cats okay so let's do this one sentence at a time okay how do i sign out of quora how do i sign out of quora can't there's a log out button okay i'm pretty sure i haven't i haven't done it but i think there's gotta be one uh just closing the app does not seem safe or illogical it's safe maybe it's not logic maybe if you want to go back on there yeah i don't why would it not be safe it's 421 me time it's always good to have quora open in your pocket so if you have a question Yeah, but what if you don't know something? What if you pocket ask?
Starting point is 00:43:27 Oh, no. Oh, no. People are going to think random letters I type. I'm speaking in tongues on Quora. I'm going to get dragged in the space I'm posting in. Everyone in my fetish group. It's 421 me time. It's 421 me time.
Starting point is 00:43:44 So is this implying they're high? Probably. Probably, yeah. Because it's 421. It's not a religious thing? Like Mark 421. Google Mark 421. Quora Mark 421.
Starting point is 00:43:55 I picked a guy's name. Mark 421. He said to them, do you bring in a lamp to put under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don't you put it on its stand? Killing spree. All right, what a cool thing to say. We are getting more religious every week.
Starting point is 00:44:11 It kind of sounds like he's talking about weed. Is there a Mark 420? Do we know? I'm sure someone would have figured this out already if it sounded like weed. All right. I think this is the smoking weed one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Nice. Mark 421. Mark 420 is others like seed sown on good soil hear the word accepted and produce a crop. Some 30, some 60, some 100 times what was sown. Say it. A crop. That's weed like.
Starting point is 00:44:44 And then in 421 they're talking about bringing in a bowl. Yes. Yes. This is the kind of shit, like, if in 2008 you figured this out, you put on a shirt, you'd be a millionaire. Oh, yeah. You'd be the richest man alive. I'd be, like, on Ellen. Explaining to Ellen what that is.
Starting point is 00:45:00 You have to explain your success. Well, through Ellen, through the Bible, all things are possible. We're here on Biblia.com, by the way, right now. That's a partner of the show. Netflix and Biblia.com. Do you think I need to feed the cats is a euphemism? oh oh uh i don't know that's no i think that one's just about the cat that's just oversharing okay yeah i'm high right now i gotta log off of course so i can feed my fucking cat i'm gonna answer
Starting point is 00:45:32 it's never safe to log out of quora yeah uh don't do it the answer is don't do it and that is that's our quora answer for this question do feed the catch yeah yeah feed those cats yeah that's you You don't have to log out of Quora to do that. All right, let's do another question. Unless you're like chronically addicted to Quora. And some would say we are. I am being attacked by a black magic death hex. Can you help me?
Starting point is 00:45:59 I don't know. I don't know if I can help, but that sounds kind of sick. I want more details, if anything. Yeah. yes i wonder if there's like sadly this is the one thing you'll never get yeah it is just trying to find that is there post history just like hey guys uh hate to be annoying about this but black magic death hack still on the goo did not help i made the goo it didn't help me and three of my friends left my hometown recently and we are being followed this person has one other question okay
Starting point is 00:46:39 um this is from 10 months ago all right their other question was i'm having very bad luck and all these supernatural events and things are happening to me and feel as if someone is trying to get rid of me little by little could you help me okay and then they stopped posting and then they posted the black magic question is this voldemort yeah this is voldemort it's voldemort probably this is probably killed the first time by that boy by having the mirror curse that's crazy to have two posts where one's like my life is fucking shitty right now and i know that it's not because of anything i'm doing oh i'm really stuck on how the fact that uh there's two of them the last one is like uh there is black magic being portrayed against me help and then silence so
Starting point is 00:47:23 there's also before that there's one long post where they talk about their issues oh where they say their full address oh which i i should i won't read it okay but it's crazy that you will have to log on to quora to read i wonder why they're having bad luck i wonder if some of it's getting doxxed my computer is full of cookies i've been angered a witch i've been swatted three times someone's doing magic my minecraft stream is fucked um yeah this person is just not well i think okay but can we answer the question though sure how do you get rid of it post your full address on quora that is and we will come to your house and help get rid of this black hex that gets out in front of the bad luck there are people who give medicine uh-huh you can probably
Starting point is 00:48:12 visit them if you have like a good enough support system that's right a shaman would do that yeah yeah you should go to a shaman go east if you're a pharmacist at cvs isn't the modern day equivalent of a shaman? Yes. Probably. That's so goaded. I'm trying to see if there's any good answers here. Do not try to reverse magic with magic. Trust me, there can be no good results. Instead, start praying to God.
Starting point is 00:48:35 There is no one that can save you other than God. I know how cliche that sounds, but that's the only way. No human can help you. Nice. Not to sound cringe, but there is no one that can save you but God. I don't know if this is hack. Your soul is in danger. Everyone's
Starting point is 00:48:51 saying this. My dear, let me tell you that men cannot help you only god can oh my god yeah okay so there's kind of like a baseline response to this then you get oh here we go here's an alternate you know the other side of this issue as an experienced spellcaster i understand the severity of your situation and i'm here to help you break free from this wicked curse this type of curse can be extremely dangerous and difficult to remove without the proper knowledge and tools you see this hex was most likely cast by a witch who wishes to harm or even kill you using dark energy spells however we must act quickly as time is of the essence when dealing with black magic to begin the process of breaking this hex we must
Starting point is 00:49:28 first identify which particular which has placed this death hex on you so we can reverse their work blah blah how do you do it though in order to probably we're no breaking a black magic death hex requires specialized knowledge and expertise and seeking an additional where's the answer well It requires an expert. Oh, she's saying like, I'm looking forward to hearing from you and working together to resolve this situation. Oh, so DMs open.
Starting point is 00:49:53 Yeah, DMs open. Reach out to me. I am quite experienced in reversing these. I know people say not to use magic, but I'm going to. Not only am I going to use magic, but you are going to fall in love with me. It's somewhat of an affront to God
Starting point is 00:50:09 and I will own your soul, but we can do this. Yeah, that's crazy. I like this person says, This is not my field, so I don't know what you can do other than seek out God, our Heavenly Father, to pray for him. Oh, baby! This is not my field. Yeah, I'm actually a licensed medical practitioner, so I can't help you right now, but you should talk to that witch.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Her name was like Mama Ann or something. Mama Ann? Mama Ann. We may have to follow Mama Ann. That kind of scares me. Mama Ann? Unpack that. is that the witch's name or is that the that's the spell caster oh love spell caster passionately
Starting point is 00:50:48 casting powerful love spell so she is looking to hook up with this guy yeah she's probably gonna groom him yeah there's probably an age gap between a mama and a baby she was in uganda oh that's pretty far away from here that's nice it's even far away from most users on quora in india um do you want to read more questions we're we've been recording for oh sure yeah well i'll do it we'll follow her later that's in our personal time let's do let's do relationship questions yes we have clay here please i don't know if we're gonna get to all of these questions if you've ever been in love my mom and dad have an age difference of 23 is this disgusting what do i say to them
Starting point is 00:51:38 My mom is the younger one. So. Is this disgusting? I don't know them, so I couldn't say. I don't know. Is your dad always drooling and stuff? Is he super sprung for her? This question was asked by someone named Stephen Hefner.
Starting point is 00:51:57 Oh. Oh, like. Sorry, just a dumb joke. I see. Yeah, probably. Yeah, it's probably disgusting. in that case um yeah i hear 23 years younger and that does make me think of like a medieval like marriage of convenience yeah to like sell land at that point because i don't know
Starting point is 00:52:24 there are um like middle-aged women who get sprung for old men sure i have seen it in my travels my travels yes it is known there's fucking 25 year olds who are into the guys in their 50s It's just like crazy. But there aren't that many who are into the big mamas. That's so... Maybe that's misogyny. That's so fucked up. Although from what I've heard, it is disgusting.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Mom, dad, you've been groomed. You've been groomed. I'm putting your mother on timeout. Yeah, I guess how old are they now? Where are they now? This is just May, December. I mean, this is just sad. I mean, if you grew up and then your dad was 20 years older than your mom,
Starting point is 00:53:12 I mean, he's just going to die while you're really young. Yeah, absolutely. So that'll be sad. Or he's a really bad guy. But maybe he's not. Maybe he's got a great path. Those are the two options. Either he's 35 when you were born, or he's going to die when you're young.
Starting point is 00:53:29 If he's 35, then she's, what, 12? So that's bad. You want him to be older than that, actually. you want him to be like 50 minimum yeah your dad's gonna be on hospice when you graduate man i'm sorry yeah i think he's just an old oak with a good hat i i yeah or you know what you know and maybe this isn't included in the question but this could be a stepdad second marriage uh that would big money sugar daddy that'd be fucking gross to me if i was the kid i'd be like you get that guy out of here i don't i don't care how many lands
Starting point is 00:54:09 marbles at the top of the stairs i care not of his thief yeah alex is convinced it's a feudal system yeah this i mean this could be anywhere it's probably not in america so and either way you gotta fight him yeah you have to fight and kill him if he's your father you must take him and wear his skin that's true for all children though yeah for sure if you have a dad you have to fight him so him being feeble and that much older than you is actually quite a boon to you yeah that is good for you so this is good actually yeah it's not even disgusting it's an advantage it's really sexy now if there's 20 stepdads and you have a sword how drunk are they they're all stepdads yeah so they're pretty drunk you're fucked it's over
Starting point is 00:54:55 they're so flexible they're doing the heroin lean around the sword i'm having a lot of fun thinking of the physics of this okay um yeah let's read the questions let's take the answer to the people actually okay tony says assuming they're your biological parents say i love you even if one of you or both aren't your biological parents say i love you what does it matter to you about their age difference they don't seem to have a problem with it that's the first sentence hey how about for once you say i love you age is just a number love is what matters hopefully one day you too will be older and hopefully you too will have love age is just a number old man spotted saying hopefully one day you too will be older is such a grim way
Starting point is 00:55:40 to be like hopefully you don't fucking die time will ravage you he's back it's forest you mentioned mentioned comments other answers and mine that someone else suggested the age difference of your parents was disgusting but you also mentioned that you find it kind of suspicious that's such a funny thing to say about your parents i think they're sus are my parents gay he's so much older it's kind of gay i'm worried that my dads are gay i'm a very confused young man uh i'm going to say a phrase which is now cliched to the point of my annoyance it is what it is that's what uh melinda oh did you come up with that one fuck you everybody has that one
Starting point is 00:56:27 oh man you say that all the time people thought that was my thing that's my catchphrase fuck now it's cliche i came up with peace out everybody says it now is it it is what it is my grandpa claims to have made up uh it's all make-believe that's not even like a saying that's just a sentence that's what he would say all the time it's all make-believe don't piece of shit but grandpa why are you so much older than grandma i was gonna ask that was my follow-up question so nobody in the comments thinks it's disgusting no everyone thinks it's fine everyone on quora is very for age gaps they're they're like this is like the alaska of social media websites is where you go when you are cast out from the other one
Starting point is 00:57:13 you know what this person has um some really interesting insight about uh how it could be bad they say age differences are different like if you are eight and i am 31 there is a problem if i'm four and you are 63 no real problem if you are 10 and i'm 33 serious problem we are at different places in life i am four and you are 63 they must mean 40 that's gotta be a typo of some kind they must be 40 but i i like that they say if you are 10 and i am 33 we are in different places in life that's so true you care about homework i am in second grade for example i do think a 40 year old can marry a 63 year old though yeah honestly you're both such a high level yeah that point so 40 and 63 yeah it's actually beautiful probably like the
Starting point is 00:58:10 same level of intelligence yeah i think we cap out at a certain point and then just start kind of like coming back down and honestly flips at some point and then becomes elder abuse and now you're kind of like age you're reverse grooming them yeah is it okay for this 100 year old man to be with someone 23 years younger than sure yeah that's like what happened to stan lee right is it what happened to stan lee my good friend i don't know he got like me too when he was like 100 years old what do you say at that point except like i'm already dying I got away with it it doesn't matter
Starting point is 00:58:46 because I got away with it and I did Iceman anyway that's that that's that one what time are we at we're at one hour should we do one funny one okay which one do you want to do
Starting point is 00:58:57 you've read all of these so which one do you want to do should we read one funny Quora in our lives want to do advanced street smarts oh yeah I do want to do that one we'll save that for the politics one
Starting point is 00:59:09 alright Quora MD. Walk down the halls. Oh, this is a wild question. Of the hospital tonight. And you're a doctor as well. And I'm a surgeon general. This is on advancedstreetsurvival.quora.com,
Starting point is 00:59:32 which is a group about how to learn how to be safe in the streets. Nice. Specifically, learn how to be safe and prepared no matter where you are in any city or slum all right give this a follow go ahead and follow this yeah i need this in my life i need to be in this community with orson scott card this question is how can you be street smart when you're blind daredevil posting first you must master all other senses i'm not subtweeting anyone but like if you make sounds can you pretty much see off of things i think it would be so difficult to be a blind guy trying
Starting point is 01:00:09 to see by his ears in new york city yeah fucking loud i've fucking seen it you might know where everything is though because everything is making noise yeah you might just bump into a couple guys like me who don't make any noise i walk quiet play's gonna kill daredevil i could hey you know what give me 20 years put me as kingpin yeah kingpin's actually really chill now Totally different vibe than before. You want me to stop doing all my crimes? That's fine. Yeah, sure.
Starting point is 01:00:45 My bad. I didn't mean to bother anybody. Damn. I didn't know you guys were going to be so mad about it. Don't hit me with those weird sticks you carry around. Daredevil sticks are out of control. He's got his weird sticks. They're probably so he can beat up drunkards because the sword won't work.
Starting point is 01:01:01 I think that's right. There's a really, really good answer to this. from douglas scott it's one sentence long we're all blind to some degree i meant to hit the air horn the first time i'm sorry i played the national anthem hey i i can't i can't cross the street anymore because i'm blind aren't we all though aren't we all i'm blind to the dangers around me of criminals because i'm so fucking i'm so so liberal i have to upload that it's so true that's so good um by using your head that's a good way but not your eyes specifically which are in there
Starting point is 01:01:43 did you are you reading this yeah okay good i thought you were just saying that on your own i was like did you write that answer tuned into this one uh this guy this guy aaron who is blind says uh blind people are all about street smarts oh we weren't we'd never get around in the world some blind people can use their body as weapons we know not to talk to most strangers unless we really have to we're trained from a very young age to ask for help in situations where we're unsure i don't know why i'm reading it like it's badass wait why are you not supposed to talk to people if you're blind set of skills i've been trained from a very young age to ask for help in situations i think blind people can talk to strangers i don't think that's one of the rules
Starting point is 01:02:23 I mean, I'm not blind, though, and this guy is. It happens in curve. Yeah, that's right. This guy loves being blind. They move his whole apartment. They unpack all his shit. There's that one famous magician who's blind, and he hates when people bring up that he's blind.
Starting point is 01:02:38 Who is it? His name is Mr. Two-Damn-Blind Magician. I don't remember. I remember. Well, the thing is, I've watched this whole documentary about him, and then in my head, I was like, file this one under Blind Magician Guy. You'll find him immediately.
Starting point is 01:02:52 Was he blind before he was a magician, or was he a magician first? He was probably a magician and then was cursed by God. He probably did one joke too many that everybody's heard before. Oh, sure. I like that they have all those little bits. Because they kind of do comedy, but it's all the same material. Yeah. It's never different.
Starting point is 01:03:13 Their setup is always the same of like, I bet you don't want me to cut this woman in half. what's the difference between the top and bottom half of this let's find out i bet i i bet you don't think i can escape this cage i'm in that's a joke in a way um yeah no the blind magician guy he had a neurological like a degenerative disease so he like wasn't blind and then became more and more blind but he was always like seeing impaired okay but his whole thing is he wants to be the best magician and he hates when you bring up that he's blind
Starting point is 01:03:50 even though it makes it a hundred times more impressive it's very funny though that you keep calling it he hates that people say and you keep calling him just the blind magician well this is I mean not between me and him this is between me and just us in this room but that's who that's how I remember him it would suck so bad to hear like you're the best blind
Starting point is 01:04:09 magician I've ever seen it's like you've seen other ones I haven't even seen other ones you are one of the best blind magicians he's also a karate master is he yes damn this guy's cool wait really yes this might be daredevil it pretty much has all the skills of daredevil let him wander into the base boot camp yeah i think you should join the military that is the wrong dog to kick that's the wrong dog to kick the guy who can fit here hear the whoosh of your hand come into come into knocking here this is kind of like a daredevil episode yeah a little bit yeah it is what with
Starting point is 01:04:47 all the questions about faith in latin should we call it there is that our last question that might be it that's the end of the show forever um we have to do one more thing we have to we have to ask a question on quora but we have one written down yeah good thing we wrote it down is it stolen vower to wear a black belt go ahead and type that up jeremy great job you're getting And that, before we, oh, that's so good for me. Yeah, it's tough. The budget's tight. Before we close, does anyone have any tips for women?
Starting point is 01:05:15 Oh, I don't have a song yet. Why would you do this to me? You keep doing you. Tips for women! You keep girl bossing out there. Make sure you leave a good first impression, I think. Get it right the first time, as Billy Joel said. I'm going to come up with a better song.
Starting point is 01:05:44 It's not going to be the weed cough every time. If you wanted to, he would. That's also kind of a tip for men. That's true. If you wanted to, you would. All right, we're closing out the show. I've got to make a song for that. Clay, thank you so much for coming on down to the studio.
