that's right another week coming through your headphones it is the quaraders podcast america's
premiere quora based podcast with your hosts alex and jeremy yo what's up dog what the fuck is up
though oh youtube video just got demonetized but you know what hasn't been demonetized is a very
important quaraders live show august 24th which is this saturday you motherfuckers and uh tickets
are going so fast that i'm concerned you won't be able to get one and it's keeping me up night so
if you are listening to this podcast right now on the youtube iphone store go to the button uh below
the video and it will have the link to the show and then you can go to the show and watch us read
quaras with mr will menaker with mr will weiniker also you'll get to see the porn before we realize
it's on the screen and pull away yeah that's right that's the real appeal now that we've discussed
this a little bit more is you'll get to see the things we have to edit out of the podcast
that is pornography you can watch that and say it's a mistake so it's funny later um but that's
not what we're doing this week this week we're quite classy is that right jeremy yeah i think
so um and we have a classy guest too all the way from the the laugh capital of america new york
city that's right uh you know him and love him as dc pearson dc hi hey so thrilled to be here
with you and not have to travel far from my home inside left leftopia yeah chuckletopolis it's nice
that we also live there in the left capital yeah but we take it for granted that's true you know
what i mean because we just have it's like having lobster in uh maine sure yeah the laughs are
everywhere just stick and outside of new york they're so highly prized that a laugh roll will
cost you thirty dollars you go to schenectady leave it in you go to schenectady there's a lot
of reverent pauses uh-huh around town less laughs that's right the thing is i've been watching so
much cable news i'm afraid to leave laugh town because it seems dangerous outside
why do people leave on the news people do still like you'll see people online and they'll be like
like people that are ostensibly like it's not like i don't know i don't want to generalize
we're not the youngest guys we're also not the oldest guys and i feel like we'll see
i'll see people like online who ostensibly share large parts of my same like demographic whatever
profile and they'll be like watching cable news just like having it on you don't have to do that
all people over 50 are required to have it on at all times they don't know about like homestar
runner or the internet there was just a really good piece about homestar runner and i realized
i never fully got into homestar runner i like i was homestar adjacent i was forced to not force
you some homestar was shared with me on like dorm room laptops for sure but i never fully was like
actively checking it myself i was more of an akewood guy and i'm creating a false dichotomy
between those two things
because I'm sure there's a lot of overlap.
Well, you were in a big sketch group
like around, maybe a little bit after,
but you must have been contemporaries
with Homestar Runner.
Did you ever run into him?
No, no, not in the slightest.
Yeah, I was in the same.
Strong Bad and I were both in the same 101.
We took Ari Vakidis' 101 at UCB.
He does not, yes, and.
That's what I was about to say.
Strong Bad is pretty much like
when they invite Action Bronson on a UCB show.
he just fucks the whole thing up for everybody but it's so funny he's there yeah action bronson
also gave rise to one of my favorite easy jokes to make on twitter which is just you can um uh
anything that has like food in it and has like marginally like is marginally poetic you can just
retweet it be like action bronson lyric action picture of action yes anything that sort of has
like weirdly juxtaposed pop culture reference and a food reference welcome he's still one of
my favorite celebrities because he's like an evil santa claus do you think that one um country hip
hop guy is like challenging his evil santa claus supremacy oh with the tattoo i just saw him in a
commercial during the olympics you jelly roll we're talking jelly roll i've never heard one
of jelly rolls songs but i always hear him uh mentioned on the radio as a guy that i gotta get
into oh he kind of does look like an evil santa claus i don't he's not like wild the same way
though right i don't think so people or may i don't know i don't know that's a good question
like actually bronson santa but sometimes he like punches an audience member at his show
that's why he's fun he does give gifts to everyone though
gift did you say gifts or gifts sorry that was a he gives the gifts of lyricism
yeah we were also taken aback by this information like he gives people gifts
Where is this coming from?
That would be an amazing thing to start,
like a really benign rumor to start,
that Action Bronson gives amazing gifts.
Like the same way that people are like,
which is true, like George Clooney is a huge prankster
or whatever, or like Tom Cruise is, I think,
famously a very lavish and specific gift giver,
that like Action Bronson just got me something
really small but handmade and thoughtful.
I bought you another diamond ring.
that sounds like ghost face gave me a diamond ring
what an inane joke that is for seven people 2007 people of which i am very much one i have to leave
this time period i've uh put myself into uh you know about quora.com i do know about it great
you're all caught up sometimes people don't know about it we gotta pause everything before this
thing get started uh but uh i think we're ready to jump right into the show um we do have a few
segments we like to do up top including an exciting new one i'm looking to dust off today but before
we get into that we'd like to go into our advice segment which is of course a cynical ploy to
attract new listeners and that is of course tips for men great dc do you have any tips for men
Oh, wow. That's a great question. I, um, it's a really specific tip, which is at the little free library, sort of near, uh, the target in downtown Brooklyn. Um, not the Atlantic Avenue or Atlantic, uh, terminal target, but the other one in, um, what do you want to call it? Albie square mall. There's a little free library nearby, uh, underneath him.
Yeah. Sort of the, um, yeah, the, it's the, you don't want to go to the cobra snake is always in there.
taking pictures again 2007 people are with me um the there was a we were walking by the little
free library the other day and i as as i am want to do stopped there to kind of like go through it
and and be like should i take this book no i already have too many books that i've taken off
stoops and out of little free libraries and it was clear that some dad's books like entire
collection of books had just been liquidated into this thing i read it is because they may be either
died or moved into long-term care because these were like so positive dad mark one books of like
it would be clearly a thing from like time life a time life collection of books and it was called
like soldiers of fortune or something so much there was a lot of like world war ii aviation
books there was a book just called submarine the true tale of world war ii naval adventure or
whatever where i was like this is the first book about this is the first that kind of book um so
they're probably still there go check them out go grab them guys it must have been so refreshing to
write the first submarine book i know what the title is no one else has done this the new machine
submarine people like i know about marine boats on the low submarine
they're full of tiny guys i would love to hear an r&b song about keeping like
the equivalent of a song about like cheating but it's just about like let's keep this boat
boats are under the surface it's a strong naval appeal in the armed forces um we're gonna die
down here if anything goes wrong they're the scariest really scary if you think about it
submarines yeah like and the fact that like so i've been on a small plane one time and that was
a thousand times scarier than i ever thought it would be i can't imagine going and i was in this
playing for like 40 minutes uh doing something 10 times scarier than that which is going like
100 feet below water minimum even more and then living there you live there now
yeah with some other buddies yeah right and your boss and yes that's true who's on your ass
i would just gotta get these numbers up or down um yeah you gotta become friends with your boss
in a submarine.
Yeah, you have no choice.
Laugh at his jokes.
He's always seven feet away from you.
If he were ten feet away from you,
he would be dead or you would be dead.
That's bad.
That's in the manual.
That's bad.
All right, so the tip for men is go to the...
That little free library.
There's a bunch of books about World War II.
And don't go into a submarine.
Don't go to a submarine.
Read about submarines.
Don't go into submarines,
I think would be a good way to condense it.
Be aware of submarines.
nailed it okay uh and now we are going into the new segment and i did not have time to
cobble together a song for this so i'm gonna just try to take this acapella real quick
all right yeah but this is something we've been trying to get into for a while on the podcast
which is a more official uh look into the spaces on the website because i feel like we run into
profiles and kind of explore those willy-nilly but uh each week we're gonna have a space
And this week, we are exploring the space of the week.
Wow, that was beautiful.
That's nice.
Borderline new age.
It sounds like a prayer.
I don't know what's going to go with that, but it sounds good.
I think you could take that a lot of different directions.
Yeah.
Are you going to put music under it, you think, or are you just going to leave it acapella?
We're going to chop it up.
Okay, cool.
I don't want to put myself in a box now, but what space do we have this week, Jeremy?
me oh you've put in here uh world's beast champion right i've not seen this it has no posts it has
no posts in one member as one follower it's us the thing i've found is when you search on quora
and look in the spaces tab it does not organize by most popular so there's like a million one
follower spaces the only difference is in in defiance of internet law it is not rated by
popularity whatsoever they don't want you to find like the big box spaces um there there is a
description that says i am a beast i am so hungry i need beast you have or not question mark give me
whatsapp okay so what sorry i i do know about quora but i guess i don't know enough to know
what a space is is that like a somebody trying to create a community yeah it's like a subreddit
gotcha okay it's similar to a subreddit but again they are not sorted by popularity so you really
We have to befall them.
It sounds like this person doesn't know what a space is either.
They might think this is a profile.
Give me WhatsApp is the end of it.
So I think it's mostly an attempt to get some numbers.
You might be surprised to learn that the guy who created this space
is named World Beast Champion.
World Beast Champ.
World Beast Champ.
Short for champion.
He has answered two questions.
Someone said, is Liz Cheney rooting for the Democrats?
And he said, no.
i'm gonna really regret not having a second animal sound on this board in a minute
when you're the champion you only need one king of the jungle baby
shout out to lions by the way hey lions if you're watching right on we love the cruel way you eat
your food is there a better way should they eat it differently so lions famously and i'm always
going off about this they eat their prey alive oh sure they go ass first so that you are pretty
much living the whole time it's one of the worst ways to die i think it's in my top five lion yeah
eaten by lion i think like you process pain the entire time and like you're they get they pull
all your like organs out through your ass and you're alive the whole time saying things like
no no this lion my ass
hey god forbid there's a bunch of those fuckers in there oh sure so i defended you
king at what cost
so stay away from the savannah at large yeah no that's a great piece of advice
but world's beast champion yeah uh very interesting space yeah the shouts out to you i gave it a
follow he's hungry uh he says i'm new here and need beast so i think you're right that the space
was probably them attempting to make a profile and then they'll be like oh wrong button that is
kind of the mindset that keeps you world beast champ though you would think like oh i'm beast
champ i'm good like i can start resting on my laurels get into hobbies and stuff but he's like
i need beast mistake he wakes up on day one of being world beast champion he's like where's the
beast right i live my life a quarter mile at a time you need new challengers to the world
championship oh i don't have new challenger from super smash brothers that's a great sound that
would be a good one i got my eye on some new sounds coming up not today one of my later one
of my favorite it always makes me laugh uh you guys are probably more pro than this but if i
ever have to do anything with audio i use a little program called garage band you've heard of it um
and it's the program with the most annoying repetitive notifications in the
world.
My favorite one is every time I open it up,
it has a little thing that pops up on my laptop that says new sounds
available.
Always sounds like a kid,
like a teen in the fifties on a sitcom.
Hey,
I want to go down to the record store.
There's some new sounds available.
Me and the guys are checking out.
You ever check them out?
I don't check them out.
No.
Cause I don't use it for anything.
Like I think it probably is like,
Hey,
there's a new,
like,
you know,
marimba pattern available or something and i don't but i don't look into garage band has a staff
of recording artists always innovating new sounds oh like truly unheard sounds like the name of god
or something you're like it's a weird sort of like yeah years when it comes out you're not
supposed to hear it crafty and sad yeah they don't have that in audacity because it's a free
not to lower your opinion of our sound production capabilities i actually was on a different i hate
to even say this to you guys because i don't want you to feel like territorial about anything like
that i was on a different podcast a little while ago and my i was recording from home and my
computer crashed and then the one of the hosts advised me to download audacity instead because
he was like garage band is very he's like audacity is lightweight it was like it was like he was
describing um a gun but it was very it really appealed i'm not a gun guy but it really appealed
to me for some reason i'm downloading audacity it's lightweight it'll have the you can get a
goal ability yes exactly and i did yeah for sure um i spit a lot when i talk um yeah you can make
it for seven dollars no i think the real heads are audacity people unless they have unless they
want to spend like a ton of money right unless they're in adobe pro tools in which case i assume
they like went to school or something yeah exactly that's and then you you do the podcast
and then you listen back to it and you just sound like uh t-pain yeah you know like it's just a lot
of people don't know i can sing jokes from 2007 that's what we're doing today welcome
the interest rate on these jokes has been great because we haven't touched it we haven't dusted
them off since then so they've gotten funnier is how it works it's all tied up in government money
very few t-pain jokes out there lately people have forgotten about it and we're doing all the
above all right around 18 minutes and we probably should start the podcast so what did we ask last
week last week on quora we asked a question at the end of every episode and we asked how do i
know if my close friends are ready for a threesome baby winky face now without the word baby this was
too close to a normal question but um i do hope that people answered it with great verve and
energy there's only one question seemingly from someone who isn't a listener of our podcast and
And they said, after they dump in you, and then you find out you're Prego, and they dump you again.
Flawless victory.
I don't know what that means, but this guy did study life at the School of Hard Knocks.
Not like you NYU boys.
A lot of threesomes at that school, let me tell you.
That guy's name is Red Devil.
Okay.
What's going on with Red Devil?
He's a taxpayer, it says.
Yeah, that's his job.
All right.
Well, IRS, move along.
No need to look further.
On his profile, it says he knows about sex and firearms training.
Wait, read that second question up there.
Can someone gangbang me?
And he says, nope, you'll need a gang.
Got him.
Destroyed.
And Red Devil, I don't know what you're saying, but I know you're upset.
This man is ruthless.
Does he have, like, alerts set for certain terms, like gangbang and threesome and other stuff?
Where he's like, I can bring my expertise to this.
Maybe he's just searching.
From the school of hard knock.
he's just searching the hard knocks i will say the hard knocks program in group sex i think is
coasting on its reputation i have to say it's sort of people are like if you want if you're
want to study group sex you got to go to the school of hard knocks and i really feel like
it has the faculty has gotten a little i'll say it old you know what i mean it's not all about
publishing but i don't want to go off about that again if you'd like to answer one of our questions
please be sure to use the word scrambled eggs this way we will know not to click on you like
the red devil and tear you limb from limb destroy your choices on this website you'll be you'll be
unsafe in public after that um okay let's read a bunch of quora questions yes okay and i'm very
excited about this week's theme uh this organically came up we just found a lot of strong choices in
one area and this week's theme is of course the morality of the jungle lion again just have the
lion i got rid of the cow just have the lion tiger i thought what you can tell the difference
between the tiger and the lion?
I can't, but...
You know, oh, where am I?
In the south of India right now?
That's a tiger.
Werner Herzog is going to hate this episode.
He just rejects the premise outright.
There is no morality in the jungle.
Are you kidding me?
It's just evil.
It's just bad.
Yeah, it's just brutality.
Your wife asks if she should listen to this episode,
and he's like, you should never.
You must never listen.
Never listen to this episode.
Delete it.
They're talking about a lot of Obama-era stuff.
Okay, but yeah, we are going to...
All jokes aside, we're going to learn a lot about animals,
and we're going to learn a bit about ourselves in that time period.
So, of course, we are originally starting with, I believe,
we're in the animal segment, which is For a Gone Wild.
Yes, thank you.
God.
This first question is,
are dogs capable of thinking about God?
This is just to get you on your feet.
It's the premise of a 90s alt-rock song.
It's irreverent, I think.
I think there's a certain lobby of people who would have to boycott the song.
Didn't the Pope get in trouble for saying dogs can go to heaven or something?
He did?
I think so.
Not my Pope.
This current Pope?
I believe he told a kid that pets can go to heaven, and people are like, that's not true.
They can't.
This Pope is always getting in trouble.
he's always just like making new lore in a way they don't appreciate yeah no for real he's
world building he's like george rr martin he takes his dungeon master role as pope
and that's like the stuff he wants to do and then sometimes they'll ask him about like an
ongoing war and he'll be like i don't want to touch i just read i have to uh or not read i
listen to the audio book of this history of the of the papacy called absolute monarchs and i really
recommend it it was no it was the whole goal of it was to be like a brief history so some of the
popes he's just like these next three popes were kind of not really putting up numbers yeah and
you literally just will like kind of yada yada some popes uh and uh it's uh crazy how many popes
throughout history were just like um either had an army that they led or they just got like
kidnapped early on
there was a lot of
like dragging popes
around by their
beards
oh no
they had beards
yeah it was
wild stuff
this is why I shave
I was going to say
it is like one of my
fears is to be
dragged around by
your beard
if you've seen the
new Mad Max
there's a lot of
dragging behind
things and you're
just like quick
check what can I
be dragged by
you do have a
ponytail
I know
well I am kind of
asking for it there
guys if you're
watching especially
lions please don't
drag Alex around
by his ponytail before you eat him.
No!
From his ass.
Not like this!
But do dogs...
Yeah, are dogs capable of thinking about God?
From what I know about dogs,
is they're like very...
They're kind of like sex-minded.
They think about pleasures.
Sure, yeah.
They're sinful.
I think they're actively not thinking about God.
Dogs are of this world, for sure.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I was talking with...
I mean, this isn't to put her on blast or anything,
But I have a friend I, like, see outside on the street.
She lives on the street.
And we have a sandwiched kind of exchange sometimes.
I have a homeless woman that, like, we hang out.
And she knew I was an Aries by looking at me.
Really?
So I was like, oh, we're going to talk more because you're magic.
And one of the things she said to me very casually the other day was, like,
she was, like, complaining about these dogs that were near her when she was
panhandling.
And then she was like, and the thing about dogs is you can't give them
dominion over you.
One time one stole my breath.
and so now every time well every time i'm looking at a dog i'm like stay away from my breath
which did it not away not breath away stole her breath away she thinks they're like demons she
thinks that they can like uh they can like be raised above you you know what i mean like they
can lower you i think that is a thing about dogs that like they're usually a metaphor for the devil
and like a book right yeah or if dracula turns into a dog yeah he does do that winston churchill's
a metaphor for his depression was as a
black dog. Really? That would follow him around.
Weird. Weird. Weird guy.
People like dogs.
Winston Churchill. I don't want to have
him on the show.
He's a drunk.
I won't have any Protestants on
our show.
Anyway, I don't know what to think about the dog
question. What do people say on the Quora?
Someone said, no, dogs lack the
mental ability to understand or think about
such abstract concepts. Word for word
what I said exactly and they're stealing from me.
Let's see.
Someone said, no, dogs have got
better things to think of, like walkies.
Fact. Dang.
Epic atheism burn.
Someone said,
not the human rational way. Logic
falls too short, but
a dog's sensitivity and lack of sin may
allow it to access heaven.
The Pope is in there under his burner
account.
it's a real loophole
they're not even part of the
he's basically saying they can only think about God
they just don't know they are
they can't sin I feel like a dog can sin
this is kind of implying they're like angels
at that point they're beyond
sin what if it's like a police dog
right they can sin
surely or Marmaduke
no wait was he lovable no he would do stuff
but he was kind of an innocent like Marmaduke would
mess stuff up but he was like ultimately chill
but he could go to heaven Odie is definitely
going to heaven i know about od i know less about marmaduke it's time for me to sit back and learn
lassie lassie's always saving people yeah she's like a good dog and when i think about stuff like
that like if you're like a courageous dog there has to be some kind of you know carrot or those
dogs that are dialing 9-1-1 not those i was gonna say those dogs that are dialing 9-1-1 is that
though it's like a widespread phenomenon it's a group um but you know you'll hear about the
occasional hero dog sure that calls the police in an emergency that is amazing when they do that
and do they now that i say it's one of those things i'm saying it and now i'm going like is
that real i mean i have a magic a dog to speak like i've read about this enough times where
there's like an old woman choking and then she's like he knocked the phone off the hook and started
dialing and then they came now i have no way of verifying if that happened sure our dogs
accidentally exposing the surveillance state is it the sort of thing where it's like oh they knock
the phone off the hook and then the police show up and it's just like they realize because every
they're listening to all of our communications that they also know when you're choking it's
actually for your safety or if they're if they're calling 911 are they thinking like i'm going to
heaven for this oh they're doing it explicitly till i get in through works rather than through
grace yeah right right on thinking of the dog dying uh hero narrative i don't think i've heard
of those before like social
media I mean after social media has come
around like I think this is kind of like an old
story thing I think this may be like clout
chasing in an older form
like lonely old women
are like my dog is based
you know
put that in the newspaper
I've got a story for you
I was so mad
I punched through a wall
wait do you mean she's like bragging about her
dog's willingness to dial
like traditional law enforcement
My dog calls 911 for anything
I just meant like my kids don't call
And buy up to interesting stuff
The news should know about my cool dog
It's fine that I don't have any close relationships
Where nobody would miss me for a couple weeks
If I wasn't around
Because my dog will let everyone know
If something's wrong
You're too good for me
My dog can use the phone
there's an answer
on here that says
it is difficult
to determine
yeah fair enough
fair enough
it's a sticky
wicked
those who have
heard the howls
of many dogs
on a still night
in a valley
and at first
question what
that sound is
when informed
it is many dogs
KMs apart
it amazes
that's kilometers
I don't know
what that means
or has to do
with
anglo spotted
knowing about
God
that would be
a good sound effect
I would have to make it.
I don't think anyone's done that before.
We could hire someone.
It's true.
Anglo spotted.
Hey, could somebody on the radio or something say Anglo spotted?
We are not willing to pay for this.
Okay.
Okay, that's enough of that question.
That's enough of that question, but that was a good warm-up.
It's a bit philosophical.
This is a pretty similar question, kind of the opposite.
Do animals cheat on their owners?
So we've talked about do animals cheat on their spouses?
like do they do dogs on each other do they do each other dirty when they get in flirty
but this is like does it like i had a cat that ran away to another house when i was little and
then we just like got her back was that cheating oh sure i think cats do have multiple families
that is a thing right they don't all polyamorous going down to town yeah that's why mine can't go
outside because i don't want to like hit up other families in brooklyn all cats have had at least
one sort of like don draper abandoning their previous identity rebranding themselves they're
kind of the american dream in that way but at what cost the name that you give them is not
actually their real name that is trying to get out there with that yeah well that's just i mean
that's just from yeah that's just canon from cats the musical and the poem definitive definitive uh
what do you call it core text of that's jellicle yeah that's that's a higher there's a there is a
And people should be warned, especially going into the election season, there are a group of sheriffs in America that are in communication with each other that only obey Jellicle law.
And they think that this is going to be our chance to go to the heavy side layer and we have to just be aware.
Okay.
And by the way, every vote that you don't give to Kamala Harris is going right to Macavity.
So think about that while you're on your high horse.
I'm interested again to hear from the community on this.
I don't have much more to add except that they're free of sin,
and so I don't think they cheat.
A lot of comments about how cats do have multiple families.
We're right about that.
Cats specifically.
For sure, yeah.
These sickos.
Cats cannot go to heaven.
They're little sluts.
I'm looking at you.
Yeah, we have our cat, not as much anymore, but our cat Linus,
we joked about having an alter ego named Dennis where he would sneak out of the house
and have like a little mustache and just be living with other families on the block
as Dennis, and the way that
he would claim having no knowledge
of Linus and vice versa.
This is some fine chow.
He does a different voice. Oh yeah, he's classier.
He's way classier. That's my impression of Dennis.
He is a tuxedo cat, if that helps.
Okay! Is it weird that I could
just tell?
Your friend's gift is rubbing
off on you. He's a cat
that sounds fancy. What's his
sign, Alex? Capricorn.
Nice. That's mine.
Close enough.
There you go.
Count it.
All cats have the same horoscope sign as their owners.
I think that's right.
I want to get on the record that I don't think I can look at someone
and know their astrological sign.
That is not a power I have.
I haven't earned that.
My breath is my own.
I ever comment on this just as cats cheat on their owners.
So we nailed it.
Okay.
Also, yeah, what does that even mean, though, in this context?
You know what I mean?
like that they just I guess yeah I guess that they like leave and they are I feel like that
just demonstrates from people like a lack of humility about their relationship to their cat
I don't really have like a covenant with my cat that says you can't get pats around town
if anything if you get out he's an indoor cat and I need I need them to be retrieved somewhere so I
can get his ass back here because it's Brooklyn it's not safe for cats no my cat's got one long
he can't go outside.
No.
He's just a little fellow.
I feel like my cat
probably looks down
on the outdoor cats, though.
I don't think he wants
to be out there.
He's looking out the window
like, look at you fucking idiots.
Here's the thing
about the outdoor cats,
they're having a great time.
It's actually a net negative
for the world
because they kill
everything they see.
Yes, they kill
all the birds and stuff.
It seems like so much
closer, though.
Yeah.
They're like a ton of birds.
They're an invasive species,
so it's like unleashing
a small tiger
into just like
the middle of the woods.
And then they're like, but I need this little bird to bring back to, I'm not going to eat it.
I need it to bring back to my owner.
Because apparently they're trying to teach us how to hunt.
I've read that they think we're big baby cats that are chaotic.
And they're like, they don't do any cat stuff.
I have to teach them.
So when they bring you like mice and stuff, they're being like, see?
I wonder if that happened before industrial farming.
Like if you ever saw a human like kill an animal, would you be like, oh, I don't have to bring him anything.
Sure, he's got it.
He knows exactly what to do.
Oh, shit.
He shot that deer from the house.
He totally can kill whatever.
The student has become the
mouster.
Yeah, I was debating saying mouster.
I just decided to
disassociate for a second.
The student has become the
mouster.
Say the words.
Anglo spotted.
It cuts back to us and we just elongate
you thinking about it. It just goes on for
three minutes as we're looking
into camera meows okay this is my favorite one that we have for today this is a the question
itself is not that good this is a very in-depth answer on this question and this is still related
to animals and in there the morality of the jungle um this question is with our spectrum
of technology now why is it still impossible to understand any animal's language okay and it is
long i want to see how much we can get through because there's a lot of uh interesting concepts
provided uh do you want to read it alex or you want me to read it i would like to read it
i like to read sometimes in the original gorilla all right so this is by marion landon uh marion i
i could be he or she i'm gonna say she i don't understand why we haven't used computers to
analyze animal vocalizations for example twice in my life i've had cats that were clearly speaking
a complex, specific animal language
that had phonetic sounds to form specific words
which were then being used in sentences.
I learned to recognize a few words being used,
despite being tone deaf.
What?
In both cases, the cats learned the language
from another cat in the neighborhood.
I suspect the two cat languages were not the same,
just like French and Russian aren't the same language.
Now, we're around 15% through.
most cats they are adopted very young and kept reasonably isolated from most other cats if you
did the same to humans they might not have much in terms of language skills and if they did develop
a language with another human it would be limited in words i'm also aware that sometimes a dying cat
will sing a funeral dirge for itself that is a beautiful tone poem and may actually involve words
and meaning what i think is funny is that a few years back a new cat curse word seemed to get
communicated between cats, and I understood
exactly what it meant as it was
occasionally directed at me.
It meant, you are a stuck-on
piece of shit.
The cat would turn its ass to me, and
as it was walking away, it would shake its left
paw in my direction as if it had a
piece of shit stuck on it from its
litter box still on its paw.
Okay, okay. This person is unwell.
They can accurately interpret
cat language the way our machines
have failed to do. You haven't read even half of it.
no there's a lot more to know uh so the cats to recap there are different languages the only
reason they aren't speaking one fluid language is because we're stopping them right um they come up
with like new slang that you can catch and you can stop them from like getting a bad personality i
guess um yeah they have they have peers that influence them yeah hold on she does eventually
go into how this could be used for war he says lastly i think useful understanding uh how useful
understanding animal language would be for spying particularly bird language we could simply ask
some groundhogs nearby what the russian troops were up to groundhogs are the first one you would
go to they're the submarines of animals sort of verging into wes anderson territory i might just
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Getting too cute.
They're back.
That's good.
Groundhog sabotage.
They're getting there onto us.
I love the idea of this woman
like calling the army all the time,
being like,
we need to use the groundhogs.
Have you forgotten about birds?
We can use the birds.
My favorite paragraph.
Read The Art of War.
It's just a Beatrix Potter.
It's just Frog and Toter.
It's also like we were using birds until someone invented the fucking phone, which is way better.
My favorite paragraph we just skipped, which is many of my cats have actually tried to call me by my name, Marion, which is her just sitting around her house being like, did you say Marion?
It's so unfortunate her name sounds like meow.
None of this would be happening.
Yeah.
Cats never say my name.
They're never like, Alex!
But your cockatoo
says your name
as much as a character on a TV drama does,
where it's like they say your name way more than normal people
will say your name in conversation. Cockatoos are kind of
anime-pilled that way. And they're also
always like, men with guns
are coming!
They're trying to warn us! Troop movement!
We need to
batten down the hatches.
Okay, it is really long.
Yeah, we don't have to read the whole thing.
I understand calling it off here, but there's more on there.
Good for you, Marion.
Thank you, Marion, for uncovering these secrets for us.
Surprisingly, none of her other answers are about this.
Right.
Not all of the questions.
This is just one thing in her life.
What cats are saying.
Almost all of her questions are about race.
I was about to say, she does tackle race.
Check out Marion.
Oh, boy.
Learn what's up.
It's not even questions.
like all of her questions are like does this group like this group and then she'll be like i've got a
story about that where it's like do white men like asian women she's like let me answer this
i once knew an albanian boy exactly and they're all equally as long well good for you marion
she's using the website the way it was intended to be used which is essay writing you gotta love
a grand theory though sometimes like this one is relatively benign i feel like the fact that it's
other to the other trending into like race stuff and other answers it's like troubling but i feel
like when somebody just unspools their grand theory about something that is relatively benign
like i think cats can talk to each other you gotta love it um she is doing the opposite of the thing
we always complain about which is somebody asked a question and then people answer huh i don't know
oh yeah because this is the is this her answer this is her answer oh okay yeah i see so she was
like today's the day that preparation meets opportunity you've been training your entire
life for this i make my own luck cats talk to me i'm sorry i'm just trying to read the crazy
she she does go into some insane bullshit about like racial stuff within the cat answer no just
another one where she says oh this whole thing about she goes um my favorite there's a question
that is, from what part of the world do you find
men most attractive? And she goes, my favorite men are
Irish. A win. Personally,
I have a theory about countries where the women are
beautiful and the men are ugly. I think in those
countries, there's been a lot of genocide.
What?
Explain no further.
We all get it immediately.
She just has
a bunch of weird beauty
theories about race.
Also, no...
I don't know. We're going off very
limited sample of her life here but if you're able to come up with that comprehensive a theory
about cats which are domesticated cats predominantly an indoor animal and they're mostly just reporting
back to you from the neighborhood how are you also having enough experiences with people from
different parts of the world to really speak with this degree of confidence it's just something i
would pose to her sure yeah yeah i mean maybe it's the birds the birds are reporting back they're
Like, while I was in Russia, seeing, you know, the planes take off and land, and on my way back to CENTCOM, let me stop over at Marion's house and be like, the men are, you know, the women, but...
Just so you know.
I just got back from Dogastan.
The men are dogs.
Constantly thinking about God.
Okay, let's read another question.
Are there specific ones you want to do?
We can jump around because we're running a little deep on these because they're good.
Do you have a specific one you want to do, Alex?
Let me see.
I mean, I do really like these.
Let's just do two more animal ones.
Fuck it.
Here's another question.
What scents do rats love?
This person is either trying to kill or seduce a rat.
My favorite part of this is it's spelled love.
love it's like oh valentine's day is coming up and my partner is remy it's written like like a
girl on instagram or something it's l-o-v-e-e the person who wrote this is named our girl
which is with an h and her most recent question is meow meow meow what am i
that is my favorite so this is a cat that's trying to kill mice
Yeah.
Rats.
No answers.
Marion vindicated on this.
Marion vindicated.
Uphold Marion thought.
Marion was right about everything.
Oh, man.
That's really funny.
Okay.
So, rats.
What experiences have we had with rats?
Think, think, think, think.
God.
They must love nasty, nasty stuff, right?
they love trash we know they're nasty we load we know they're wrong for this one i've had a rat
walk across my little toe uh in in bushwick um i was walking around in flip-flops and
took a little skitter on there which just feels it's not really upsetting until after because
at the time you're just like what is furry uh but no that's a rat uh and they're just hanging out
So they're in trash.
We know they like cheese stereotypically,
unless it's a vicious rumor maybe started by tall tale tellers.
I don't know that they dislike much of it.
They don't like poison.
Yeah, that's true.
Or maybe they do like poison.
Right.
Because they're always eating it.
They eat it, but I think they're just like little gluttons.
They kind of just go for whatever.
I'm such a glutton.
And I think they just like smells in general.
Like if it's summertime and things are really,
as we know here in Laugh-topia,
they really start to be very
scentful just in general. I think
rats are like sweet because I'm smelling stuff
and I'm going to go eat it. It's getting fetid
and let's party. Is it wrong to say
rats are rather nose forward?
I don't think that's right. No, not at all.
They're very nose centric
young men. They're sort of led by their
if I can sort of borrow
from like every drama teacher
I ever had eventually sort of like
that borrowing from the Commedia del Arte tradition
you're either led by your and they would do like
an invisible string. Your character's being
pulled by this or by that and like that's sort of their motivation and rats are very nose forward
when you watch the youtube you learn you get so much bang for your buck you just get to watch me
effectively rip off kate berlant without actually doing it i was just doing what a drama teacher
would do and say but steal from the greats absolutely um i i think they love it though
i think they just they're crazy for this one this person says moldy cat food tied off condoms
menstruating women, dried semen.
Red devil, what are you doing here?
Red devil, get in scram.
Get out of here, you scamp.
I don't know any proof that rats love
menstruating women and dried semen.
Well, you know what?
This person lives in London.
Anglo-spotted.
Anglo-spotted indeed.
They like a little of the old tied-off condom.
Tied-off, what do they call condoms?
Baggies.
did you say baggies
baggies
oh baggies
a little bit of this and that
you know
dried semen and so forth
they're activated
in the libidinous response
this is Rod Hupoway
Rod Hupoway
not pansexual
more kettle sexual
they say
so very funny
what does that mean
I think
we can joke about a pan
oh shut up
fuck you god damn your country is over you've lost the world
um anything good don't try to brexit from someone you're having intercourse with it doesn't work
is contraception you must put in a baggie you can't just brexit before your orgasm and
and I'll expect that to work.
Back it up, mates.
We can't be acting like rats.
There's like a cultural thing.
There's like sex ed in the UK.
It's just like, don't be the rat.
This guy knows about sex and sexuality,
if you could be surprised.
Wrong.
He knows about breastfeeding.
He knows about London.
He knows about incest.
I don't believe you about any of these
after what you said about rats.
You don't think he knows about incest?
I don't know.
Oh, he didn't know about rats.
He thinks rats are looking for cum.
Or a pretender.
That's what his answer is for everybody, though.
He thinks everybody's looking for cum.
Well, if they're anything like me,
probably used condoms.
Tied off condoms.
They love peas.
Tied off condoms, too, is very visual.
Yeah, don't leave them open.
Or do, because apparently it doesn't make a difference.
Rats love tied off condoms.
They're going to get in there.
Okay.
Wow.
I know less than what we went into this one.
Someone else said they aren't talking.
So this is an anti-Marion person.
This is an answer that needs improvement.
I agree with that assessment.
Downvote.
Downvote for you, sir.
Someone said in prison we could buy both peanut butter and nacho cheese,
both of which came in the same type of canister from the same company.
I don't know if this has to do with rats.
I think the implication is rats get ultimately elected.
Oh, prison rats.
yeah yeah yeah yeah okay i see i'm not saying like people who tell secrets i mean like actual
rats get into prison oh sure i thought you meant people i don't mean in the mafia sense i thought
you meant i can see you being confused about that's what i thought you meant what chance do
rats love i think yeah both both sides of this conversation are trying to secretly communicate
about who told on them to the police yes who flipped for a deal just i'm just saying they
love peanut butter and it's like i meant to understand that that is george washington carver
i hate it when uh rats give up my secrets about george washington carver
i'm trying to publish a book on him
okay uh here's another question a little bit disappointed that one i didn't learn much
that's okay we'll learn one from this this question is i'm scared that there is a snake
in my mattress what should i do okay no morality in this one this is just a quick question hot shot
yeah snake in your mattress cobra in your knapsack immediately running to quora to find out what to
do help help help help help help how would it get in there what is that i guess the idea is that
it's been in there since like the factory box spring hole box spring hole you're sleeping in
the desert right so this isn't like in the bed this is in the mattress right unless this is
again prison slaying of some kind oh sure it's a slippery don't talk about any of the details
of the bank robbery we have a snake in the mattress oh do we have any answers that are
like when my ex-wife was a snake in my mattress or is that just me going a bit too far i mean i
control f control f misogyny no one has said the word wife on this quarter yes i win
this forum is mine you win the internet today alex everyone on this forum's like uh take it outside
i think that's probably the right move i maybe this is like a bigger problem in texas than you'd
think yeah i could see this being something where it is like like i remember when there was the like
30 to 50 feral hogs discourse
from that post that some people were like,
no, genuinely, feral hogs
are a big problem
in a lot of places.
Oh, ha, ha. Laugh at the feral hogs.
Oh, Laugh-topia.
Just sort of laughing it up again.
It's entirely possible that snakes
in a mattress is an issue. I've just
never heard of it before, and I'm thrilled
to not have to worry about it. Yes. I'm sure
we'll get a lot of angry comments from people who are
like, you fucking assholes.
in your mattress snake-less bubble.
And I'm not talking about my wife,
who is also a snake.
I love her.
It's Slash.
Slash is writing this?
Yeah.
I made these decisions in spite of her ways.
Somebody says, freak the F out.
I'm glad that you're not saying fuck now, Alex.
Now that we're more than 15 seconds into the video.
We are not that kind of show.
uh but someone said i hate snakes indiana jones coded oh uh i do not go out of my way to harm
them and expect them to respect my space as well this person belongs in a museum
indiana jones reference i've negotiated a separate piece with the snakes
all of mankind may do as they wish but snakes uh and i have reached an agreement no one has
like a good answer here people are like i don't know just take the mattress out freak out a lot
People say freak out.
See, snakes are one I would expect to have a strong smell
you could probably get them out there with.
Yeah.
Like you put like cinnamon over there and they're like,
I don't know now.
Cinnamon?
Benign use case for AI.
Could you do, I mean, I'm sure you could make a thing
that's like when you go to post the same joke
that everyone's made, that it could be like,
hey, you sure you want to post the same joke everyone's made?
Like I feel like that would be a really useful thing
for a lot of online.
Clippy pops up and is like, this looks cringe.
Hack alert.
are you doing this for clout that would happen a lot when i used to bartend i feel like people
would make this you would realize like how if you give most people the same stimulus they will react
in the same way where it's like you got like a sign on the tip jar people would be like oh but
like i can't think of an example but like it's like oh one guy every night is gonna make the
exact same joke usually in front of his date i would be so sad if someone told me that if a
bartender was like yeah i heard that joke already i would kill myself you never do that you could go
to a store and there's no price tag you go is it free i've never done it never take the easy ones
i've heard it been done i've never done it myself is it free i made a uh a post that people were mad
about yesterday about um uh sure when getting carded when you're clearly a fucking 35 year old
And it did make me think about, like, the little jokes you do when they card you and it's obviously over.
But my favorite one I used to do when I actually looked young is I would give them to him and I'd go, that one's fake.
Sure.
And no one likes any of these.
So I think the rule is to never joke around with anyone you have a money contract with.
They don't like it and they resent you.
But you're kind of like a man around town.
Thank you.
yeah you're people if people aren't watching on the youtube alex is dressed like an old-fashioned
dandy i mean like for real though whatever i'm like with you in your neighborhood you'll be like
yo what's up and i'm like who is that like that guy owns a pizza place three blocks away that's
right that's awesome though that's like really important i feel like that's nice i'm the full
opposite where i feel like if anyone recognizes me where i never go back i'm like i don't want
to be known i don't want you to know like if they're like oh the usual i'm like i'm never
coming the terrifying ordeal of having a usual yes yeah it horrifies me they spot you from the
phone sure i yeah i love that i am one of those people that i do like seeing the same people over
and over again and kind of being like hey you recommended this thing last week and i tried it
it was really good yeah that's the right thing to do right i'm bad i think for being like they're
like being friendly and i'm like fuck you i do not joke with the help um no that's certainly not
what are you some kind of snake mattress or don't talk to me please over your eyes jeremy i thought
i don't know if you were going to bring this oh it has a related question i did somebody said well
i divorced mine okay they got there first wow i concede the forum that one is um what would you
do if a snake appeared were to appear in your bed and you said well i divorced mine okay yeah the
thing where quora brings you a different question is a bad feature i think they should remove it
And that is upvoted by someone who I do not remember
that we eventually, I guess, followed on this podcast
at some point named John Mixon.
His only profile just says 35,000 answers
and then there's a gif of like a shining 35,000.
Yeah, I'm sure we already looked at this guy's profile.
I don't remember it all.
He's the question master.
Good for him.
Shout out to John Mixon.
Congrats on 35,000.
He invented, his dad invented mix-ins in frozen yogurt.
I love those.
And he's spending his, yeah, his idol rich days just answering questions on Quora.
That's how he got his 85,000 followers on Quora.
He's a nepotism baby.
People are just, people, yeah, that's another thing I didn't realize about Quora, I guess,
that people can follow people.
That they're just like, it doesn't matter what the question, I don't care if the question
is relevant to me.
I just want to see that answer.
Yeah.
I know John Mixon's going to be bringing the heat.
Heat, I mean, 85,000, that's like one of the biggest Quora people.
They don't have like a ton of like celebs.
They don't got TikTok numbers on here.
So what you're saying is I should immediately stop even gently joshing him.
Oh, yeah.
He's a big deal.
Sucking up to him.
Masterful gambit, sir.
Yeah.
If you want your Quora questions to start going up, you got to be nice to Mr. John Mixon.
Unless you want an insult to his next big answer.
35,000 answers.
That's pretty cool.
This guy must know a lot.
Well, he knows about movies, politics, the United States of America.
America, police and law enforcement and actors and actresses and his friggin wife.
We can listen to his music.
He's got a SoundCloud.
All right.
We can.
I would do that.
All right.
So wait.
Important to note, his SoundCloud has two followers.
That's right.
So the overlap in the Quora fandom is not.
This might not be music.
His most recent post on SoundCloud is called Quora Celebrities.
All right.
Three years ago.
I don't know.
It might be him talking.
question why aren't core writers considered celebrities a good question outside observations
one core's business model is confused on their better days while the original purpose seems to
have been to collect the answers of experts in certain fields i don't care about what this guy
has to say but he's using a robot no yeah robot boys i do like that his most recent question is
Why am I not famous?
This town cloud sucks.
Why is that?
All right, well.
This isn't popping off at all.
Alex, do you want to do one more question?
Do you have a specific one you want to do?
Yes.
Let me look.
Okay.
This one?
We have a good incel one that we've had for a while.
Oh, let's do an animal one, though, right?
Yeah.
This one's relevant to what we're talking about?
Oh.
All right.
We can do a pregnancy one next week.
Okay.
There's a lot of pregnancy questions I found in a row.
okay this question is this is not a pregnancy question men which would you choose a bear who
can be your bro or a woman to nag you to death fellas what's it gonna be
this person's this person's entire worldview is shaped by jerky commercials
he's big into the cleveland show just asking a completely neutral question between women and
bears one which can nag you to death and the other which we can be your bro i guess i gotta go with
the bear who's my friend well it can be your bro but it could also do bear stuff still okay i don't
i think he's saying just like a random bear i don't think he has a bear in mind okay it's not
yogi you mustn't read this question yeah i i i don't feel confident being friends with a bear
I know Russians on the Internet frequently do it in a way that's inspiring and makes you want to have open that up into your life.
However, the downsides of my turbulent friendships could be too much with a bear.
This guy has asked so many questions about race.
It is out of control.
Unexpected from the bear bro, man.
I just I don't want to get too into just racist questions, but they are strange.
So I want to just read real quick.
i think if a black steals something a white should pay for it am i racist i don't know
what to think about that i've never heard that before all right well i gotta pick the bear i'm
gonna go bear i pick women i'm an ally would we yeah also it is i will give him this it's tough
to make friends with a bear after 35 like it just is you know what i mean like especially like
living in a big city we're all so busy it's also there's few bears yeah it's worth pointing out
that like i i mean not to be reductive but if you're a straight man and you're choosing like
a woman in the way it's phrasing it's usually like you're to find a sex partner which is not
something a bear provides for me okay so like there's a unless it is a gay man the bear and
it could be and it doesn't have to be an animal it could be a human your bro okay the thing is
with the woman i i'm a married man i'm happy to be married but this woman in the question you wish
it was a bear i do wish it was a bear official canonical answer was you wish it was a bear in
the question he says the woman does nag you to death sure you do die she's there till death does
you part oh maybe that's what it is allyship it's also interesting just like uh syntax wise it's
like the bear could be this but the woman's there to do this it's like not even that she will it's
that, like, she's there to nag you to death.
That is her job.
Where it's like, well, you asked her to.
You said a woman to do that.
She's just trying to live up to the terms of the agreement.
Yeah.
Whereas the bear is just like, he could be your bro.
He has the potential to.
I guess they all do.
For all we know, it's sort of like a weird, like,
I don't know, Schrodinger's cat thing or something like that,
where all bears that we're not around right now
could be our bros.
I don't know.
Yeah, and they're a meta bear.
I couldn't really say.
They seem great.
i love them i know the rules black bear you get bigger brown bear you get smaller
oh in terms of like how to act around them yeah you gotta know how to act you gotta code switch a
bit i know it may not be pc to say so what is black bear you get big because there really is
is it a small bear or big bear okay is the question because brown bears are like seven
feet tall or whatever and then black bears are like five feet tall black bears also are just
like less dangerous so the black bear you get bigger to be like i'm bigger than you yes and
then the brown bears you get smaller ain't no which i do naturally anytime anyone is taller
than me i don't get smaller but i just naturally feel a sort of like what feels like a primal sort
of like he's great i'm just like we're good if we get into any sort of like bad situation like if
you meet someone smaller you go like this and i bang trash cans together and i get them the
fuck out of there i pick them up i like imagining and i like that the cat has entered the chat as
well yes um that the i like imagining that i'm gonna be in a slumdog millionaire situation at
some point and it's just gonna but it's gonna be me and a bear i'm in like a life-threatening
like bear situation in the woods and it's just gonna be all the flashbacks are like podcasts
that i've done and all of the little sundry knowledge about how to react in that situation
that i've picked up doing comedy podcasts over the years right so the movie's two minutes long
and i'm dead sure yes and the bear there's like a who wants to be a millionaire question where
they're like which side did the lions eat and you're like i know this a but b ass c took us
it is a trick question you cannot get correct uh um oh and just to be clear because i don't
want people calling me out on this but i get small i know it's you gotta like back away slowly
it's a you don't want to just like look you don't just mean become twee
i don't mean just like look extra knitting i don't know just be cozy i think if you see like
a grizzly bear you're probably gonna die anyway it's a bad scenario so you're fine i think if you
see one that's like far away and they're not gonna bother you unless they're hungry and you can
probably get out of there. If it's like five feet away,
it's probably it. It's too late for you.
From what I've seen in The Revenant.
Although they do get
out of that one alive. Yeah, I haven't seen it.
We gotta see it.
Guys, check out The Revenant.
We used to have movie night on this show.
We did two movie nights on our show, and no one
came to them, so we had to stop.
Let us speak of them no more.
We're like, I don't know what people want from a Patreon.
What if we all watch a movie or something?
And then the first one, we just watch Teen Wolf alone.
and i we're like should we post it reminds me of when i was coming here today our kid i was saying
like oh she's like what are you gonna go do and i was like i'm gonna go do a podcast she was like
what's a podcast and i was saying like well there's a whatever blah blah blah and you were
talking but it's on microphones and there's a host and guests and my wife goes like like a party
and she like understands like a party you have like guests and like a host and i thought about
that for a second and it made me so sad because i've been to so many more of these kind of parties
it's like like a party it's like yeah it's like like a party you have to clarify for your daughter
not like yeah so what i'm trying to say is when alex and jeremy have a party where they just want
to watch a movie just come don't do it on a podcast fan level show up as their friend they
need somebody to show up will you be our friend dean wolf cool movie he rides he rides on a car
it really rocks a podcast is for white men
um okay that's enough of all these chorus i think sure is there were there any good answers on the
bear one no one guy says oh man only those two options if i raise that bear from a cub i'd choose
the bear i already get nagged enough and i don't have a woman in my life yet either thank you yet
He's going into it with a great attitude.
I don't know.
His qualification is just doing my best in a world gone mad.
Sometimes I wonder why I adopted this bear cub.
It's like you look at this world right now that's gone mad,
and you're just like, how is a single guy in Quora supposed to raise a bear?
I know women are to blame for this, but in what way?
Who's nagging this man?
That's what I want to know, other than his bear cub, I guess.
From what I'm seeing, the forum is mostly on Team Bear.
Yeah.
Yeah, 100% for the bear.
Everyone's on the bear's side.
All right.
Well, I guess I'm just different.
You just respect women so much.
Allyship.
It's more than just a vessel in the Mediterranean.
Wow.
Slam that subscribe button.
We should have ringed that bell.
And that's going to be it for us.
We should ask a Quora real quick.
Do you have any Quora's you want to ask Quora.com?
Any questions you want to ask Quora.com?
Alliance, maybe?
Yeah, I feel like the first thing that leapt to mind
was just sort of like a basic-ish
like flight or invisibility question,
but I feel like that's so, it's been done.
I just want like,
how would invisibility really work or something?
Like, I don't know.
I'm trying to think of like,
I'm trying to make them too plausible,
I feel like.
I don't know.
Could you use invisibility to escape a lion?
Yep.
Okay.
I like it.
That's a great question, actually, and it's thought-provoking as well.
Jeremy, you're on top of your game today.
I think it's the kind of thing that probably does have a fairly plausible answer about how their senses work
that will, I think, prompt some weirdness from people, hopefully.
I'm looking to learn more about lions.
I only know the one ass.
This is basically just a honey trap for world beast champ.
Yes, yes.
If you're truly the champion, you'll answer my lion question.
We can request him.
You can request certain people?
Oh, wow.
I'm going to do it.
World Beast Champ.
We don't get a lot of...
The people we've been tagging
have not been following up with us.
Well, you haven't been giving them
enough of your WhatsApp information.
It's true.
They have none of that.
And we're going to keep it that way.
In the meantime.
DC, thank you so much for coming on.
Thank you for having me, fellas.
My absolute pleasure.
Where can our listeners find you?
At home and abroad?
Technically, I still have a Twitter account,
but I don't really use it anymore.
I have been enjoying to do on blue sky,
the dorkiest website to talk about what I used to do on Twitter at DC
Pearson dot B sky dot social.
It's basically just a sort of a benign Twitter clone.
And I enjoy it.
I'm also on Instagram at D E E C E E Pearson,
because I got onto Instagram in 2019.
Sure.
Too late.
Oh,
somebody had taken DC.
They're not doing anything with it.
That sucks.
Are they like just posting pictures of you?
No,
no,
they're not it's not even a fake me it's just somebody i think somebody just like is i don't
know i i'm they're not like squatting i don't think i think somebody just got it because their
name probably has similar it's potentially one of the many people i get emails for where it's like
there's somebody that's like awol from the national guard in florida that has a similar email address
to me um we should make clear that is not our guest today and then there's either somebody who's
the same person or a different person who seems like a really fun dad i get a lot of things where
it'll be like hey in like south dakota this guy took his kids to like a place where you uh do like
you do like fun climbing or something and clearly when they're like you have to sign a waiver to be
like it's okay if my kid gets hurt here and then i'll get that waiver be like hey you came here
today uh here's this waiver so um yeah i'll just say it's easy to be a fun dad if you are not on
duty in the air force that's right so that's two different guys we know that um reminder again
we have a show
and you gotta come to it
or Jeremy's gonna find you
and then I can't say
what happens after that
we also have
bonus episodes
every Thursday
on patreon.com
slash quarators
where we go on other websites
LinkedIn
Facebook
Reddit.com
WikiHow
if we're feeling ambitious
I just found a new website
the other day
I really liked
that I accidentally
almost
or it got suggested to me
which was internet.com
oh wow
you guys might want to
check that out
on the Patreon
I can't wait to go
on internet.com.
I'm really excited.
It's just like my mother
has been thinking I'm doing.
That's where she thinks I work.
Alex, go on internet.com.
How long is a hard-boiled egg?
Can you look that up?
This is like the place
you say you work on Facebook.
Alex's radio show
is very popular on internet.com.
It has many voices and stories.
Okay, that's it for us, though.
